La Quiche Parisienne Bistro offers the best quality ingredients and a genuine taste of French cuisine, all made from scratch. No need to travel to France when you can enjoy their delicious menu options right here in Albuquerque. This French bakery and breakfast spot allows you to experience the flavors of the French countryside with their authentic quiches, each made as individual pies with various tasty ingredients like fresh tomato and oregano, wild mushrooms, and ham.
We were just visiting from out of town but so glad we made a small detour to go here. Breakfast (Croissant with eggs and potatoes) was amazing. They make all their own pastries and bread. Really good cappuccinos and coffee too. Highly recommended. Kind of dreaming of those croissants now...
Rob J — Google review
Cozy space run by a French family with delicious buttery quiches and pastries. We shared the green chili quiche and almond croissant. Both my friend and I have lived in France, and we found the food very authentic. We loved that the staff greets you in French as well as the the little library of French books! Perfect for Francophiles.

BEST DESSERTS IN ALBUQUERQUE! Bold sweet flavor & daringly colorful combinations. Bring an out of town friend, a loved one, anyone you want to impress! There's a wide variety of entrees also. Everyone leaves with a smile. This is an especially wonderful place for a child's birthday treat or a Daddy-daughter date! Be prepared to go slightly over budget... Only because it's too difficult to decide, so taste both and save the extra for later, hahaha! LOCATION: Hidden quietly behind Smith's Gas Station in a plain strip mall, La Quiche's reputation still draws people in... Closed Monday & Tuesday. Debit card purchase option available, but if possible, bring cash.
Tiffany B — Google review
Maybe my taste is too picky but I've worked in some popular French cafes in bigger cities, I know a good chocolate crossiant and I was quite disappointed with the chocolate almond crossiant that I purchased here. It was a soggy, heavy mess, there was no fluffiness or the slight crisp that comes when you bite into a delicious crossiant. There weren't many pastries as I'd liked but it was filled with every quiche you could hope for. I'll give this place another try, come earlier they said there's more pastries in the morning.
Claire — Google review
I found La Quiche at the Grower's Market, loved their pastries and decided to try them out at their store on Eubank. Boy was I disappointed. The male server who works there on Saturdays and Sundays is really rude. He makes you feel like a burden and like you're lucky to be served and not the other way around. La Quiche is really fortunate to have patrons that want to pay them for their services and it's really too bad that this wasn't my experience. I even went back a second time thinking that perhaps it was just a bad/stressful day and to my dismay, that seems to be the vibe on any day and from both servers. In addition to the terrible service, they don't give change for the cash if it's not exact and will only accept a card payment on a minimum of $10 with a 3.5% fee. If there's no change and a terrible credit policy, it doesn't make sense to purchase from this store. They have a really hectic setup in store where there's no room to order to go orders and people can just come up without standing in line and be served before those who are patiently waiting. And the staff don't value the time you wait and thus don't enforce any order. I would recommend their pastries at the market because their workers are really friendly and bubbly in that setting. Avoid this storefront at all costs.

We come here all the time. Usually it’s great but today everything was wrong. One server, which I know she was busy but it shouldn’t have taken 20 minutes to get silverware. The food was just all around lackluster. The baguettes were so hard and chewy the sandwiches were all but inedible. The breakfast platter, they served green chili gravy on the potatoes but played it weird so there was gravy over half the croissant. So lesson learned. Don’t go on a weekend. Not a single load of bread, pastries and only a small handful of desserts.
Melinda S — Google review
The food is incredible. Healthy, fresh and delicious. This is our family’s favorite breakfast spot. The most child-friendly food on the menu is the crepes. Everything else is delicious but a more complex taste. I highly recommend this restaurant.

When you walk into Le Chantilly Fine Pastries, you are transported to France. The bakery has a massive selection of pastries and delicious goodies, as well as a bar where you can sit and enjoy your meal. The pastries are made with high-quality ingredients and are sure to please.
Wow, I stopped in today to give this place a try, and everything was amazing. I got a pumpkin muffin, a carne adovada croissant, carrot cake, and I don't remember the exact name but it's a flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be coming in again.
Heather H — Google review
When first entering you have the bakery layout and then towards the back you have a dedicated Cafe area perfect for intimate gatherings. With the abundance of staff we were helped quickly and had a very friendly interaction at checkout once we bought our Baked goods. I did not have the time to try the cafe area in the back but am very interested in returning to see what other types of foods they offer.

So glad we stopped in here! Got one of the green chili turkey croissants and it was really tasty and a huge amount of food. Service was so nice and friendly. They had a huge selection of treats and a lot of their desserts were decorated for Halloween, so cute. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area looking for a sweet treat!

We ordered our wedding cake from Le Chantilly and we couldn't have been happier with what we got! Laura was very friendly and patient working with us on the design (we had an art deco/Star Wars/Warhammer 40K theme going on that was hard to mash together). I'll admit, my husband and I didn't feel very helpful to Laura in telling her what we wanted for a design--and yet she delivered the perfect cake! It was delicious, also. I got several compliments from guests on the cake. Overall, we were most impressed with Laura herself, because she was so friendly and sweet and patient. I was pretty stressed out throughout the wedding planning process, and her positive attitude and reassurance helped immensely.

This place has the best brownies.I have ever tasted. Their desserts are beautiful. I have not yet tried their savory foods but I have heard good things about it. Service is always friendly and efficient.

This spooky treat was the perfect afternoon pick me up 👻 My husband ordered a cinnamon roll, and that was delicious as well. The staff were as sweet as the pastries 🩷

I give up on you guys. This is the third time I have driven off without making a purchase. If your sign says you open at 7, then open at 7. I arrived to buy pastries for my meeting, with the plan to spend close to 40.00 and your door was locked. I even waited outside to be sure it was after 7. I went to the door, and your girl was too busy loading your shelves to pay attention to me at the door. Forget the shelves! Open the doors! I have money! Albuquerque will never change and neither will you. Third time is a charm. I'm done.

D. H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro, located in West Old Town Albuquerque, is a charming and dog-friendly restaurant and winery that prides itself on offering the best wine and gourmet food while upholding a six-generation winemaking heritage. The bistro features French country cuisine, local wine, and live jazz in a casual setting with a sun-drenched patio. It's an ideal spot for lunch or dinner, especially for wine enthusiasts looking for an elegant dining experience.
Saturday. 5/17/2025 @ 6:45PM. Party of two. 1st time as Guests to this "Old Town District" location of D.H. Lescombes restaurant in Albuquerque (NM). NOT difficult to locate this eatery while driving in traffic. Parking, this evening, was available and well maintained. Reception Staff was Professional and Courteous. Seated us right at the Reservation time, too! Not much space in the Waiting Area, tho'. Our Super Server, "Stephanie", was menu-knowledgeable, attentive and even friendly! We both enjoyed her personality and her customer service skillset! We, also, got visited by two different Managers during our meal, asking if we were enjoying our visit to DHL. Impressive! 👌🏼 We ordered the much talked about Bistro Burger and the (*NEW*) Homemade Lasagna! BOTH menu items were as delicious as they looked! We, also, tried a sampling of their Wine of the Day, "6•3•1• Signature Cab-Sangio". Niiice!👌🏼 Very enjoyable outing at this D. H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro! Five Stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BTW..there was a *LIVE* Band performing on the venue's westside Outdoor Dining Section that sounded like FUN!🎵🎤

We just finished the Old town wineries and thought we would stop by Lecombes on the way back to the highway. We are sitting outside. It is a bit warm but there is a slight breeze blowing. The facility, and patio, are very nice. Our server Samantha is great and she got right to us. I am trying the Signature Red flight and my wife is trying the St Clair Port. Trying the Potstickers. Tried the Cab, Merlot and Cab-Sangio. All were good and I found no faults. This is a tasting room and the actual winery is in Deming, NM. The Potstickers were good but spicy and my wife enjoyed the desserts. They are all gluten free.

We celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary here and very happy we did. The pork chop and trout entrees were delicious and cooked perfectly. Both proteins are often overcooked and dry but these were expertly prepared. The sides were equally delicious - Creamy mash potatoes and crisp yet tender broccolini. Everything was seasoned properly. We had two flights and enjoyed all 7 wines. The team gifted us a chocolate torte with ice cream dessert to help us celebrate. It was a perfect sweet ending to a lovey meal. Shout out to our fabulous server, Torrey. Thank you for a memorable meal!
Alice L — Google review
Located in a cute area with plenty of parking. The Signature Nosh (charcuterie) was really good and just enough for 4 adults to share. Although we did have to ration everything since there were only 4 of each cracker type. Lol The Jalapeno Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was delicious and the mandarin sauce made it amazing ! The SW Meatloaf had great flavor. Server was a little meh as he wasn't very attentive and got one of the items wrong so they had to redo it which kinda threw off the dinner vibe. It was an extremely busy Friday night and maybe he was new but at least he was very nice and polite and was trying! Great experience all together!
Jennifer W — Google review
Very nice experience and excellent food. I recommend the meatloaf… comes with mash potatoes and broccolini. Try the different wines (we like the Kiva). They allow you to try multiple ones. … excellent service with Kat M. Ask for her when you come in. And did I mention how great tasting the meatloaf was.

With reservations for a large group of 14 we were promptly seated during peak supper time. Our server Troy ? was great, very personable and attentive. Everyone got there food as ordered and was delicious. Very nice atmosphere without being upscale stuffy. Highly recommend

Went there for lunch, the day before our Anniversary. I got the lunch portion of their Weiner Schnitzel . It came with mashed golden potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes and the Schnitzel were outstanding The chef walked around and was personal. The waitress checked on a lot, making the atmosphere warm.
Joe D — Google review
What an excellent place for wine and delicious food! I was impressed by the staff and the food. The staff was so friendly and Ben, our server, did an excellent job serving us and providing us with great recommendations. I loved that the food options were paired with a recommended wine choice. I got a wine flight that aligned with my dinner choice and it was excellent. I chose the Pasta New Mexico for dinner and it was incredible! It was so delicious and DID pair well with my heritage flight of wine. Great aesthetics in the restaurant. I loved the art and decor around the restaurant as well. All in all, it was so great and I highly recommend it!

The Owl Cafe, located at 800 Eubank Blvd in Albuquerque, is a unique dining spot with an owl-shaped building that adds to its charm. The cafe offers a diverse menu featuring breakfast items, burgers, malts, fries, spicy dishes, pancakes and homemade desserts. Visitors can also enjoy the ambiance of the 50s with classic tunes playing on a jukebox. This establishment has historical significance as it was once frequented by scientists from the Manhattan Project who were stationed nearby.
I went for dinner with my family and the food is delicious! The fried mushrooms as an appetizer were tasty. The green chile burger, was a perfect size. All the food was very fresh! The service was nice and quick, didn’t have to wait super long for the food to come to the table. Highly recommend getting a milkshake, they are so worth it!!

Driving through heading to Colorado, we were looking for lunch spots that would allow our dog on the patio, and that would please the kids. It's super hot out, 110 degrees. We ate on the patio, and while it was hot, it didn't feel that hot. The fans were on low, and we were the only crazy people needing outside seating, but i wish they had been on faster due to the heat. The food was good, burger was fresh. We got kids meals and shakes at the end. The inside was super cute, and our waitress was great. I'd eat here again. They had something for everyone, I think!

Frito pie & the french dip was great! Service was great and staff was friendly! The banana split was so good! The fried mushrooms were okay they were served on lettuce and were soggy :(
J — Google review
The food is really good but what makes this place exceptional is the amazing staff and ambiance. Walking in is what I imagine a Time Machine feels like with juke boxes and neon lights, and the absolute best shakes I’ve ever had are a nice touch too. Not to mention, super inexpensive. I recommend this place to anybody local or driving through. Did I mention the building is shaped like an owl?
Nico — Google review
My husband and I were visiting from Texas and stumbled upon this gem of a cafe. We actually went twice during our trip because we enjoyed our first time so much. The staff was incredibly friendly and made our experience memorable. My husband's omelette was one of the best he's ever had, and the cinnamon rolls are truly out of this world! It was also really cool to be at a filming location from the Breaking Bad movie, El Camino. If you're ever in Albuquerque, you should definitely check it out!

Wonderfully nostalgic dinner with historic ties to route 66. Excellent service. Lots of great choices. Wish the dessert menu had been printed. Enjoyed hamburgers and a fudge brownie sundae.

I used to love 50s diners as a child, so the Owl Cafe brings back all the feels. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on 06.06.25 and it was delicious. We were waited on by Megan C and she was AWESOME!! We were immediately drawn in by her personality. Further, she anticipated our needs before we even had a chance to acknowledge them ourselves. We were never out of coffee or water, and the food was absolutely tasty and promptly brought out. I would recommend stopping in for either breakfast or lunch. If you do, ask if Megan C is working and to be in her section.

Known for its freshly made muffins and croissants, Mimi's Cafe provides a delightful dining experience with attentive staff who ensure exceptional service.
Great place for a group lunch. Excellent service. The menu was extensive. While our section was full, it was still quiet enough for everyone at the table to be engaged in our conversations. There were five in our party. Two had the Asian salad, two had the turkey club sandwich, and one had a smash burger and fries. We thought that our dishes were nicely presented, well proportioned, fresh and tasty. Overall, a really good experience. We agreed to add Mimi's Cafe to our repeat lunch gathering eateries.

Tried Mimi’s today for the first time. I was excited because I’d heard good things. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was not busy. They waited about a while after they took our order to tell us a menu item was not available. Our servers were nice and did take a percentage off of our bill, which I appreciated. But then there was a mix up with cashing out another table instead of ours. The food wasn’t bad, and I don’t know if it was just a night with newer staff, but service needs some work.
Angela T — Google review
Such a cute bistro that’s pretty hidden. My husband and I ordered a vanilla latte, a peach latte (tasted like it was straight out of the orchard), tiramisu stuffed French toast and a French roast. The lattes were amazing, the stuffed French toast was huge and as good as it sounds, but the French roast left something to be desired - it had an odd taste. The staff were super friendly, professional and accommodating. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in the area
Kaitlin K — Google review
The food was served cold. The eggs were vile. Potatoes undercooked. The AC was blowing a steady -50. The servers were friendly. If you’re here for drinks bring a coat.

We came here for dinner on July 1st and we were surprised the place had absolutely no customers, except for us. We were seated right away had great service and great food.
Richard C — Google review
I’ve been a longtime customer of Mimi‘s. Most of them have closed down in the Bay Area so when I seen this one, I was kind of excited. Mind you we came in with a large group of 10 the restaurant was practically empty so when the waiter gave us a snotty look for multiple orders not tasting right he seemed personally offended. Instead of him apologizing, It was What else can we get you? Maybe bring over a menu and ask us is there something else you would like instead? Mind you he was busy with us. He was rude about getting us our check. I’ll give everybody their checks at the same time. I’ll be back. Yet wanting to take our plates and clean up before we were done, and when I did finally pay, he threw my check at the end of the table towards me didn’t even have the respect to hand it back to me. After that experience, We won’t go back. It only makes sense that they’ve closed most of the locations. It’s unfortunate how one server and a couple of not well cooked plates can ruin the Mimi‘s Café name. I wish future customer well.

Taaj Palace is a comfortable Indian eatery in Albuquerque with both buffet and à la carte options. They offer a diverse menu, including vegan and vegetarian items. Located in a strip mall, Taaj Palace is one of the many Indian restaurants in the area. Their buffet stands out for its wide variety of choices, even offering goat meat instead of the typical chicken found at other buffets.
The atmosphere was really nice, me and my fiancé opted for the buffet, the butter chicken was really flavorful and tender, the rice was very good, I also ordered the Mango Lassi was top tier also the hospitality/customer service was superb.. I will definitely be back! If you’re in the area definitely stop by!
Ross P — Google review
It was our fault that we went to this restaurant. We ordered food (6 items) over the phone last night at 9:25 PM on 12/28. We asked about the spice level, as we have 3 kids. Rano (the owner) said spice level 5 is regular and that kids can eat it. So we ordered one food item with spice level 5 and the rest of the items with spice level 6. To our surprise, the level 5 item was super spicy, to the point that even adults couldn’t eat it. When we called the restaurant, they didn’t respond properly. So, we had to drive 8 miles to go to the restaurant. We spoke with the chef and managers, and they were rude and didn’t even apologize for what they did. We got on a call with Rano, who was even worse than her staff. She was extremely rude, which was not surprising. She didn’t apologize for the mistake; instead, she asked us to bring back the food we had trashed earlier in the night to claim a refund.

Just perfect! I went to Taaj Palace to try their lunch buffet, which is roughly $20 per person. The food was amazing! The butter chicken and the spicy chicken with basmati rice are the must have. They have good selection of dishes, everything looks great and tasty. Definitely worth the price you pay for.

Came here for the lunch buffet with my buddy. We loved the food. Everything we tried was tasty. Over all my favorites were the Rice, Naan bread, Chicken Tandoori, and the butter chicken. I had a little bit of everything. Will come back again.
Matt H — Google review
It was Christmas Day so take this with a grain of salt. We got take out and got some very weird dishes. We got tandoori chicken, ras malai. Ras malai was very strange, nothing like other Indian restaurants and was frozen. The tandoori chicken was also old with a pungent stanky smell and with the texture of jerk chicken. However, it was better with the onions and the spices dish. Definitely think this restaurant is better in person and on a better day, but avoid this restaurant for take out, none of the food was fresh.

It was my first time here! I had buffet there in the evening and the food was in general very good. The price for the buffet with taxes included roughly adds up to $20. The buffet had a variety of options which I really liked. They had a lot of vegetarian options which was great! I also loved the watermelon slices they have in the salad bar. I’m glad I visited this place. This is located at a walkable distance from the Airbnb at which I stayed. I liked how accessible this place was.

French restaurant
Modern French restaurant
Restaurant
Le Troquet is a traditional French brasserie offering seasonal dishes in a cozy and rustic setting. Housed in a charming space reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century Parisian bistro, the restaurant features art-deco ambiance with hardwood floors and artisan-crafted decor. Despite its modest exterior, once inside, guests are transported to Paris where they can enjoy baguettes, pate, and fine wine in an authentic environment.
We just had a wonderful meal at Le Troquet. This is the French restaurant Albuquerque has needed since others have closed. Who remembers Cafe Jean Pierre and Chez Bob? Everything was great. We started with the French onion soup…pretty much perfect and practically a meal in itself. I had the rack of lamb, in a wonderful sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes, carrots, baked tomato and grilled Brussels sprouts. Ms. Spouse had the steak frites. We finished with chocolate mousse which was so rich and dark that the two of us couldn’t even finish it. The space is lovely and intimate, with only nine tables, and decorated in old world style. It takes you out of the every day world and gives you a special experience. The service is attentive and the food arrives when it should. Speaking of Cafe Jean Pierre…it was a favorite of ours and we were very disappointed when it closed. Well, we found out by speaking to the staff here that the same Jean Pierre owns Le Troquet. Explains a lot. This may be a special occasion restaurant for some, and it belongs on your list of places to try.

We had an almost good meal at Le Troquet! The escargot was buttery and delicious ( a bit unflavoured), and both the lamb rack and trout were flavorful and well-cooked. The frog legs were a miss — undercooked and not seasoned, but the staff handled it really well and took it off our bill. We also enjoyed the cozy vibe of the place.

Outstanding little French bistro in the heart of ABQ. Despite walking in 45 minutes before closing the manager warmly greeted us. Food was great, service was top notch, and I would happily return.

We had an above and beyond experience at Le Troquet. The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Our waiter went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner super special & delivered the best customer service-even took pictures of us!!!

This restaurant is a little bit of France right in downtown Albuquerque. I had a perfectly executed Caesar salad which is hard to do. I had Veal Normande which was simply delicious as were all the included sides. And for dessert again a perfect Crepe Suzette which I seldom see offered. Lovely guy runs the front of house.
Elonide S — Google review
One of my favorite places for years......but something is different. The luncheon crepe, which used to be reasonable and delicious, was a total miss today at $42. Seafood, which I figure accounted for at least part of the price, but the crepe was flavorless and covered with a so-so cream of mushroom soup, w/ rice and carrots. First plate was blazing hot, but all of the food was barely room temp. I sent it back. Second plate was also blazing hot and so was the crepe sauce - the rice and carrots were still room temp. Never had a bad meal here until today and it was ridiculously priced for what I got. My friend had a disappointing quiche - definitely no longer homemade at the restaurant. Looked mostly like a Costco special. Last trip, so sorry. We missed seeing the owner in his corner, perhaps this has changed hands?
C M — Google review
Le Troquet was once my favorite restaurant. Sadly, since Chef has health issues and his wife, Michelle, is no longer managing the front of the house, both the food and the service have taken a drastic downward turn. The waiter ( and manager?) is rude, passive aggressive, and completely ignorant of what a fine dining experience should be. He absolutely ruins any chance of a pleasant dining experience with his arrogance and attitude that does nothing to disguise his distaste for customers. Even the smallest of requests for water, a spoon, the check produce a sneer from him. In the past the servers hired by Michelle were outstanding and enhanced and elevated the outstanding cuisine. This man, however, degrades Le Troquet with his every word and action. In addition to the pathetic excuse of "service," the food has also gone to the wayside. The last few times I've had dinner here, my entree arrived cold, vegetables were either undercooked or over cooked, and the main was lacking taste and finesse that were always present when Chef was still commanding the kitchen. Those were the times, when the food and service were beyond compare, that a $250+ dinner for two felt like a gift. Now, it feels like a beating, a berating for "service" from a shiftless bully and lackluster food. I'm done with Le Troquet.
A.T. O — Google review
Charming atmosphere and clean, with friendly service. The overall feel does a good job of approximating the feel of a cafe in France. This restaurant will make fried food lovers happier, though the breading was markedly bland and lacking much flavor. That said, both the frog legs and the sole (fish) were juicy and tender, just uninteresting. All of the vegetables we received were remarkably low quality for the prices we paid. The tomatoes were pale grocery store things with no life in them; the asparagus was both burnt and over-steamed until stringy and mushy. The rice needed salt. The saving graces for the meal were the bread rolls before the meal, the French onion soup (the most authentic I've found in ABQ as yet), and the cappuccino. In all, for $86+ for one entree ($29, split and charged an extra $5 for the service, so $34), a soup and salad, and one appetizer for the quality? I can't recommend Le Troquet, especially when one can get fantastic salads for similar prices ($16 at Vinaigrette, for example), or great fish with similar freshness at far lower cost and greater quality (Slap Fish $15 vs $29). The service was well-turned-out and friendly, but given the small restaurant and limited number of guests, I would have liked to have had our water topped off at least once and to not have had to ask for silverware more than once. If you are intent on French cuisine or prefer little to no seasoning, give this a try. Otherwise, I cannot recommend it.

La Madeleine is a small, quaint French cafe chain serving rustic country fare and delicious espresso. They've been in business for over three decades and their menu features dishes that are inspired by popular French cuisine. The waitstaff is professional and has impeccable pronunciation of each item on the menu, ensuring that you'll have a fantastic dining experience.
A cute and sweet, rustic like charm of a bakery! Came here for breakfast and we ordered the Strawberry Nutella Crepe, and two American breakfast platters - with one orange juice. A yummy assortment of French pastries and baguette rolls that I plan on partaking with a 2nd visit later this week.

This is the best little restaurant we’ve been too in awhile. Very quaint, Miss Noelani is so wonderful! She is kind, friendly, helpful and does so very much on the front line. I didn’t see a manager while dining I would have really like to recognize Miss Noelani for her amazing service. The food was perfection, coffee was fresh and hot, fireplace was so inviting. The cook was so busy in the back, pastry chefs hard at work also. We will absolutely come back and bring our family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Normally, a bakery that tries to be a restaurant also ends up being not particularly proficient at either. But that's not the case here as the place is clean, big with plenty of bread, dessert, and croissant options. The service was slow and somewhat unorganized due to staff shortage. The portions are sensible, and the prices are a bit high.

Cozy cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed delicious breakfast and pastries in front of a beautiful fireplace. Service was very attentive.

The food here was fantastic, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing perfect for a nice meal out. Our server seemed to be new and was still learning the ropes, so there were a couple of small hiccups, but everything got worked out just fine in the end. I still really enjoyed the overall experience! The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which added to the comfort. I highly recommend trying the five cheese pasta it’s unbelievably good and totally worth it!

I really hate to write this review because I have been a customer of La Madeleine for YEARS and years. I've eaten at L.M.'s in Dallas, in New Orleans, and probably San Francisco. My favorite item to order is the chicken friand. It's usually my go-to entree. Last night (8/8/25), we decided to do a dinner and a movie at home. Since La Madeleine is just down the street from us (like less than a mile), we decided to treat ourselves. We placed the order from home, waited until about 15 minutes for the order to be prepared and then got there, picked it up and brought it home. I opened my chicken friand container and thought "Wow, this looks a little dark." As soon as I sank my knife into it, the pastry basically exploded, crumbled and fell apart. I could not draw my knife through the bottom of the pastry. It was hard and clearly burned. I thought maybe the sauce would make it edible. I just could not eat it. The pastry is what makes L.M. so notable for and this was far, far from that. It was INCREDIBLY disappointing, especially when the item was not cheap. On the plus side, the ham and cheese pastry we picked up for breakfast was edible. But my most favorite dish was burned and quite old. Big time fail, La Madeleine.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would never support this business as their food is incredibly mediocre. I found them to be very rude as well. I would never consider coming back here. They served my dish with a long black hair across the whole plate. I also had a friend who was employed here and they were very racist to him and called him racist names on the job. Definitely don't consider working or eating here! What a disappointment. Maybe it's because I'm Hispanic the hair ended up on my food. I would hope not, but you never know after hearing how they treated my friend, who also is disabled, so Racist and an Ableist business. Honestly, there are tons of better places to grab a bite to eat in uptown. Don't bother with the bird food, here. And owner to you, I wont even read your reply if you decide to do so. NO matter what you say I will never return to your business or take down my reviews are final. I also will be sure to let all my friends and family know.

Don't order for pickup, and make sure you check what they give you when dining in. If you order something that is premade, they'll give you something that should've been thrown out hours ago! Disgusting!

Bakery
Coda Bakery is a simple cafe space that offers elevated Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle bowls, spring rolls, and pastries. The bakery accommodates gluten-free options for celiacs, including bowls and spring rolls with fresh shrimp or pork and fish dipping sauce. They also offer some gluten-free desserts like Bahn Cuon. Local ingredients are used to create beautiful spring rolls, noodle bowls, and sandwiches such as the shrimp sausage. Additionally, they serve smoothies and traditional Vietnamese coffees.
Driving through town I decided to try this place. Happy I did. I tried the house made Tofu Bahn Mi sandwich, a Shrimp and Pork Roll with Peanut sauce and a Sesame Ball. I also bought a CheDau Trang (a rice dessert with a coconut sauce topping) and a Thai Tea out of the fridge. Everything was delicious. Did not disappoint. If you are in the area this is a must try.

Being from a city with tons of Vietnamese restaurants, let me tell you… Coda Bakery does it right every time I visit! The portions are generous, and everything is absolutely delicious. Came here for the first time today for lunch. I got the #86. It was SO good! Lots of leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Very fair price for the amount of food you get. Middle Eastern restaurant
Caterer
Diner
Sahara Middle Eastern Eatery in Albuquerque, NM offers a vibrant dining experience with generous servings of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes such as kabobs, falafel, and bean dishes, along with specialties like the Jordanian vegetarian plate and lentil soup. Guests can indulge in flavorful options like kibbeh, Turkish chicken shawarma, and Afghani tika kabob. The eatery also provides ample vegan choices and delectable desserts.
Among the best middle eastern food I've had. Prices are great, service is friendly. They also help feed those in need in our community without advertising it. Good people.
Alex W — Google review
Sahara is a casual counter-serve Middle Eastern restaurant on Central. They have both booth and regular seating options available, which are all indoors. There are no steps into or inside the venue, so patrons with mobility issues will not have any issues. I had the chicken tika kebab wrap (located under the “Sandwiches” section on the menu and spelled with one “K”), which is described as, “Marinated tender chicken breast skewers charbroiled and topped with garlic sauce, parsley, and pickles.” I additionally added tzatziki sauce in the wrap, then added a side of French fries for $3. The char flavor on the chicken was quite strong, and I missed the tika flavoring in it. I would have enjoyed something else to be in the wrap other than the only solid items to be medium pieces of chicken and thin-sliced pickles, because it felt like it was missing something overall. I did enjoy the pickles in the wrap. The side of fries were cooked fresh and were salty. I enjoy pretty salty fries, but if patrons don’t like lots of salt they would likely want to ask for light salt on those. After the meal the table is bused, so patrons do not need to clear their plates themselves. Overall the restaurant was fine. My dining companion agreed the chicken tasted too charred and was similarly unimpressed with the experience overall.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for the best food in town, look no further! This place has truly stolen our hearts with its incredible food, unmatched service, and the warmest family atmosphere. Every visit feels like coming home. The owners are not only passionate about their food but also deeply committed to giving back to the community, which makes dining here even more special. Their menu is a delightful celebration of flavors, and every dish is crafted with love and care. I can't recommend their food enough! And if you're a fan of desserts, you absolutely must try their baklava – it's simply divine! Flaky, sweet, and perfectly balanced, it’s the cherry on top of a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a family dinner, you’ll be welcomed with open arms. This gem of a restaurant is a true treasure, and we can't wait to return again and again!

Got a to-go order of the Lebanese plate and their burger. Both of the plates were absolutely delicious. I also stopped in to get the Dubai bar which did not disappoint.
Heather H — Google review
Sahara has been one of my longtime favorites in Albuquerque, and it still holds up as one of the better spots for Middle Eastern food in the city. The flavors are rich, the dishes are thoughtfully made, and the portions are satisfying, even if I occasionally wish there were a bit more protein included. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food presentation is solid, and the ingredients generally feel fresh and well-prepared. Service is reliable, whether dining in or ordering to-go. If I could give four and a half stars, I would. What holds it back from a full five is mostly about consistency. Every now and then the seasoning or balance of flavors can feel slightly off from what I’ve come to expect. And while I understand the price increases over the years, it has made it harder to eat here as often as I used to. That said, the overall experience is still strong. Sahara remains a quality choice, and I continue to recommend it to anyone looking for something flavorful, familiar, and well-executed.

Alquds Mediterranean Grill and Grocery is a family-owned establishment that offers a unique blend of Turkish cuisine alongside a grocery store. The restaurant features a team of skilled chefs dedicated to serving the best Mediterranean dishes, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings and special occasions. While the initial impression may be that of a grocery store, there's also a dining area with tables where patrons can enjoy their meals.
Absolutely delightful find, and some of the best food I have had in Albuquerque. I am so glad we chose to follow the reviews! Great selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods and snacks in the grocery; excellent food, service, and prices in the restaurant. Unassuming place, definitely worth the visit. The baklava is heavenly, and I can honestly say this is the best gyro I have ever had. Baba ghanouj and hummus tasted fresh and homemade, presentation was lovely. Can't wait to come back!

A repurposed old bank building that now serves as both a grocery store and restaurant. This was my second visit. And it was just as impressive as the first. The hummus and chicken were flavorful and fresh, the baklava was absolutely phenomenal. A unique spot worth visiting again and again.

The chicken schwarma wrap is so freaking good here. I had it per a recommendation from the guy at the counter. The flavor is so tasty and vibrant and the marinade is so addicting. It blends everything together perfectly. I got it cut up and while I really love the presentation, I recommend getting it whole so the marinade stays consistent in the wrap. Nonetheless, so so good! You gotta go here if you haven't already. If you have, stop here again, it's awesome! And be sure to check out their store while you're waiting for your food and get some baklava on the way out. These guys are truly a cornerstone of the community.

I was a bit confused at first because when you walk in all you really see is the grocery store with a counter and a digital menu over the register. I stood in line to order at the register and was informed I could take a seat. That's when I was shown a side room full of tables. The place seemed a bit short staffed, but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind waiting a bit. I arrived at 1pm on a Monday. The place was accommodating dine-in and to-go orders, so a bit busy. The menu has plenty to choose from and the portions are satisfying. The fresh made pita bread will melt in your mouth and have you doing a happy dance. I had the cubed, roasted chicken with hummus, pita bread and Greek salad. The salad was impressive because not only was the portion large, but the tomatoes and cucumbers were nicely diced and the ingredients were fresh with a delightful dressing. Then came the chicken, hummus and pita. All so satisfying that it felt like soul food. I feel like I found a hidden gem. The food is delicious. Plus, there is a grocery store to explore to walk off the incoming food fatigue from eating everything on the table! High quality olive oil, olives, tea and more. This is an awesome little spot to explore and get your food fix. Definitely go.

Modern French restaurant
Restaurant
Frenchish is an upscale restaurant in Albuquerque that offers a modern take on French cuisine. The menu, curated by chefs Jennifer James and Nelle Bauer, features a variety of French-inspired dishes such as pâté, foie gras, bouillabaisse, steak frites, salade niçoise, and the Frenchie burger. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine selection to complement the flavorful dishes.
Went in for a nice dinner with my friend, from the food to the service, it was an amazing experience! This is a place that I will be back to very soon! Great job!!! The duck and the steak were on point! To end the night we got the cinco de leche cake and the sticky toffee, I would recommend both!! Thank you chef!!

I dined here with a friend and had a mostly positive experience. We arrived right at our 5 PM reservation and were greeted and seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive at first, though as the restaurant got busier, we saw our waiter less and less. The food quality was very good, and while I felt the portions could have been slightly larger for the price, I was still pleased with my meal. My friend, however, was disappointed with their dish—it was described as a lamb dish but had very little lamb, mostly sauce and veggies. Fortunately, our waiter was kind enough to replace it with something more satisfying, which was much appreciated. Overall, the food was great but definitely on the pricier side. Still, I’m glad I got to visit and enjoy the ambiance, which made for a nice evening.
Lauren R — Google review
My husband’s steak was smaller and a poorer quality than he has had elsewhere. My meal was just ok. The deviled eggs were very underwhelming, I’ve had better at the average potluck. I can’t understand why so many reviews are so great. Perhaps it was an off night. In any case I unfortunately will not be back. Many better places in town.
Hollie S — Google review
We had a great time, fabulous foods and drinks. We had a small wait to order, and they comped one of our desserts, which was very thoughtful. The chocolate burrito was our all around favorite - the candied, salted peanuts with hot fudge really made the dish.
Annie R — Google review
If I lived in Albuquerque I’d go more often, this place was spectacular and their menu was just big enough to have some choice but not to overwhelm. Everything was done to perfection, felt satisfied with the portions too
Javier B — Google review
The deviled eggs were delicious 😋 the sauvignon blanc paired wonderfully with the day boat halibut. The fish was tender, flaky and Loaded with flavor!! The squash was a nice touch that brought it all together. I hope to return soon for their quaint environment and friendly service, not to mention the delicious food!
Yessica F — Google review
We came here on the 1st night of our New Mexico trip, with high expectation. Had duck confit and the chickpea dish from the specials menu. The duck was done very nicely but I didn’t quite like the lentil and squash. Flavor was just a bit off for me since I was expecting French. Chickpea dish was creative but again not exactly my taste. Good experience but not outstanding.

I absolutely loved the food and the wait staff were so friendly and fun to talk to. The carrot dog was a total surprise and so, so creative. The ingredients are simple but the preparation is what elevated everything. These guys can cook!

Breakfast restaurant
The Farmacy in Albuquerque is a popular brunch spot located along historic Route 66. It offers a casual cafeteria setting with a diverse menu featuring waffles, quiches, and breakfast staples. The ambiance includes enjoyable outdoor seating and mimosa pitchers. One of the standout dishes is the French Underground waffle topped with blueberries, raspberries, and Brie cheese.
We stopped in for breakfast on whim. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Their strudel waffle was the best! You need to try it. Everything else was great but those waffles were delicious! Definitely will be visiting again if I ever find myself up in Albuquerque again. Service was great, our waitress was friendly, quick, and attentive. The restaurant is small so get there early!
Jazz V — Google review
This place is okay. Vibes are great, service is good. But they use canola oil for their food. I ordered the migas. It didn’t taste that great. If the owners went to Costco and ordered olive oil or avocado oil in bulk I’m sure their customers would be happier and healthier. They’re not the only restaurant that does this, but the vibe they give off is healthy and family oriented but the food doesn’t stand up to the test. Maybe spend a dollar or two more to give the community healthier food. 🙇🏻 Other than that, really nice location, vibes, servers, etc. no other complaints. Hope they can improve in this one area.
Shayan — Google review
So I like the atmosphere here. It’s a tight place would be great if it was a bit bigger. But it’s cozy. The food is amazing. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss with service but overall a great place to eat. Food comes out quickly and is great in presentation. Tastes very good and is always the correct temperature. The mimosas also are fun here. Fun place to eat for adults.
Brigitte C — Google review
We loved the Farmacy. We didn’t have reservations but the wait wasn’t long. The food was fresh and sooo good! I’m not usually a sweets breakfast person, but the waffle was so crispy and tasty! Can’t wait to go back!

My waffle(state fair)was yum and coffee. Others really enjoyed theirs and looked amazing 😋. Although pigeons are part of the atmosphere..which didn't bother me.it might others. Gets busy. Great food

Small brunch shop but ample outdoor seating. Everything on the menu looked wonderful. I had the Southern Benedict and my fiancé had the Biscuits and Gravy. The Southern Benedict was amazing! The grit cakes were nice and crispy, topped with grilled ham, egg, delicious gravy, and bacon crumbles. The side of potatoes was perfectly seasoned and not too greasy. The biscuits were nice and fluffy for the biscuits and gravy. We also got a streusel waffle that was super good! The fruit sauce was nice and tangy, gave balance to vanilla streusel drizzle. The coffee was really good too. The service was great! Our server was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Picked this place out for breakfast while we were passing through town and we couldn't have been happier with it. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was great (we sat out on the shaded patio). Will definitely be back next time we're in Albuquerque.

Both times I’ve been here (about 1 year apart), I have had to stop and appreciate just how well-curated and thoughtfully-balanced. So far I have ordered the Reuben and the Painkiller and both times the flavors have been so enjoyable!

Mediterranean restaurant
Grocery store
Nestled in the heart of Wyoming, Cafe Istanbul is a delightful gem that has been serving up authentic Mediterranean flavors for over a decade. Founded by Nassar and Itedal Akkad, this charming cafe and deli emerged from Itedal's quest for quality ingredients to create her own recipes. The establishment proudly offers halal meats sourced from a certified supplier in California, ensuring every dish meets high standards.
My husband and I stopped at this little hole In The wall looking for some good Mediterranean Grub. The proprietors were friendly, the food was fantastic. An added plus, there is a well stocked grocery attached. We were impressed by the quality of the food as well as the sincerity of the staff. We will be returning.
Sylvia B — Google review
The food is pretty good here. I had the kabobs. The meat was a little bit dry but was still very tasty. They have really delicious rice. My meal came with hummus which was good. Attached to the restaurant is a grocery store that has a ton of Mediterranean stuff in it.
Trey W — Google review
I ordered the gyro and it was delicious. The dolmas were also very fresh. Compared to other Mediterranean spots in the city the prices are unbeatable. They also have a store attached which I found some delicious Persian desserts. I was warmly greeted upon entering and treated so kind the whole time. I’ll definitely be back!
Regina — Google review
Sat, 9/21/24 this was my first time going here based off the reviews I read and because I had a taste for a good gyro sandwich. This is a store/restaurant. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the prices are very good/reasonable. I got the lamb gyro. It was very good, it was made fresh so it was hot and all the ingredients were fresh. My husband got the chicken kabob sandwich and he said his sandwich was very good as well. We also decided to try some of the desserts and they were delicious as well. So I highly recommend giving Cafe Istanbul a try whenever you're in the mood for some good Mediterranean food.
Vanessa S — Google review
You might not expect the wonderful food to be here in this very unassuming Cafe, attached to a grocery store, but it's well worth going! Hubby & I went for late lunch & only 1 other table then 2 had other diners. We had the chicken shwarma wrap w/fries & drink. And we shared a spinach pie. So delicious!! Flavorful & hot, served quickly. So friendly & welcoming, and I'm already thinking of what to get next time. A man even came around with a beautiful coffee at the end of the meal. Delicious with herbal flavors to brighten the strong coffee flavor. I only had a sip, next time I will have one for myself. By the time we were finishing our meal, the place was busy with a line of people ordering to go meals. So glad to see such nice folks succeeding, we have been shopping at the grocery since moving to ABQ 2 years ago!
Kimberly M — Google review
My first time here and honestly they are so nice and patient! I came in with a group of people who have never had Mediterranean cuisine and the staff was incredibly friendly. Also the pistachio baklava is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!
Cesar P — Google review
We love Cafe Istanbul for our Mediterranean food needs. Their deli is the best - best hummus, babaganoush, tzatziki, fattires, kebabs (chicken and lamb are delicious), olives, and feta. The store also had a wide variety of groceries - Persian cucumbers, pita bread, baklava, olives, spices, and much much more. The owner and staff are friendly and always gracious.

Random Confession: I'm very picky about falafel. Café Istanbul understood the assignment. I could easily crush a plate of their falafel without shame.

Soo Bak Seoul Bowl, located in Nob Hill on Hermosa, is a Korean bibimbap restaurant that has quickly gained popularity since its opening in 2019. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, this eatery has managed to thrive and receive overwhelmingly positive reviews. Originally a food truck, it transitioned into a brick-and-mortar establishment due to its immense local popularity.
We really enjoyed lunch there today! Great food and very reasonably priced for the area. I can't wait to go again when it's warmer and the roll-up doors are open! The New Mexico Bowl was simply delicious and one I will get again. The tacos were great as was the Green Bowl. Looking forward to returning soon!
Luke D — Google review
Delicious and authentic bibimbap bowls at a fair price. We ordered four bowls and the kimchi fireballs to go—everything was ready in about 25 minutes, which felt reasonably quick. That said, if you’re in a hurry, calling ahead might be a good idea. The food was outstanding, though it seemed like the portions of protein were a bit more generous during my visit last year. Two dishes I highly recommend are the kimchi fireballs—crispy, deep-fried rice and kimchi balls that make a perfect appetizer—and the Soo Bak BBQ bowl, a flavorful and classic bibimbap. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area that’s perfect for the summertime.
David P — Google review
Food is healthy and delicious. I definitely recommend the bibimbaps. I had both the Soo Bak and Staff Pick versions and both were amazing. I love the self-serve water, napkin, and utensils as this cuts back on unnecessary dish cleaning and unlimited water refills. Staff is friendly and helpful to first timers :)
Tyler — Google review
A hidden gem this place was fantastic! I can't wait to try everything, the most flavorful food I've had in a while. I started off with the spicy kimchi ball that made my taste buds dance. Followed by the special of the day, the Korean wings, fried rice & sesame noodles, all had me dancing with joy. This is a spot i can't wait to explore more.
Cerease A — Google review
Their Korean fried chicken was very tasty and the sauce had just enough heat to keep the meal interesting. My son and I very much enjoyed the egg roll appetizer. This was my first experience trying eggplant noodles and I think we both came away really enjoying them. The restaurant has a nice artsy feel. I've never been a fan of small metal chairs, but that's one small drawback to an otherwise great experience!
Warman H — Google review
Some of the best food I’ve ever had, oh my gosh. I got the New Mexican bowl without green chile, I know… blasphemous for a New Mexican, and a side of cabbage kimchi. With tip it all came out to about $20. It was so flavorful and so filling. Definitely well priced in my opinion. I’m going to be dreaming about this food for a while!
Jess V — Google review
Great little spot hidden behind Central Avenue. We did not realize till we got there that they've got a great menu with various Korean Mexican fusion dishes, like birria ramen and a variety of Korean tacos, and the great selection of beverages as well. The food is very delicious. I got bibimbop and they had a selection of different kinds. It took a while to get our food, but it was busy. And it's very much self-service from getting your utensils to bussing your own tables. We definitely will be going back again.

Linda's Dolci is a charming spot that brings a taste of Italy to its visitors. It's a popular place where you might even hear Italian being spoken by patrons who come for both the delicious pastries and engaging conversations. Linda, the talented baker, goes above and beyond to cater to her customers' needs, such as creating custom pies with special homemade jams. The warm welcome and the high demand for their pastries are clear indicators of the exceptional quality of their offerings.
This is a simply wonderful Euro style bakery that is a secret spot to all who have Not been here. Secret’s out. Offers a wonderfully low price for delicious pistachio tiramisu, and, offers gluten free and vegetarian items. The owner is from the Dolomites in northern Italy and brings her family recipes to Albuquerque. With egg prices skyrocketing (poor chickens!), all USA bakery prices are bound to rise. Head here soon (2/2025) Shop is located safe distance from Target in same parking lot on Montgomery. Highly recommend. Update: brought tiramisu and gluten free carrot cake home. Tiramisu divine; as a ‘celiac person’ I looked forward to the carrot cake…It was a big disappointment-seemed to not be fresh but rather dried out and crumbly. Sorry to say, it did not taste like any carrot cake I have ever had. Recommend skipping this item(!)
Jeff H — Google review
Went with friends and we had fun splitting and sampling the delicious pastries. The real stand outs to me were the affogato (best I've had in many years) and the orange and ricotta cake. Linda and the whole staff were friendly, patient, and welcoming. Can't wait to go back and see what they have next time!

Amazing bakery selling very authentic Italian pastries and desserts!! My wife just moved here from Italy, and she absolutely loves Linda’s! She says it reminds her of home! This is our new Sunday ritual!
Brian L — Google review
I’ve been coming to dolci twice a week for around two months and loved it up until I tried ordering a cake from there. Last Friday I placed an order for a cake and the girl wrote it down on a just a piece of paper. Today when I came to pick it up they said the order never got placed in the system (even though I pre- paid) and that I would need to wait 20 minutes while they make the cake. The owner was apologetic and offered some free coffee and a pastry. Unfortunately, when I got the cake and came home it had completely separated. I was very careful in transportation with the cake so that this wouldn’t happen. Unfortunately when I called they said I would have to bring the cake back once again to get a refund after already waiting around. Really love their pastries but this left an extremely sour taste in my mouth. Update: Linda’s response was disappointing but not surprising. The issue here is clearly with staff training and management. Many of the employees seem disengaged and inattentive, with rushed interactions, no clear process, and little initiative to help. I had already gone to Linda’s a week prior to place my order, then returned to pick it up, only to find it hadn’t been entered into their system. I waited 20 minutes, not 15 as claimed, for them to rush-make the cake. When I called afterward about it falling apart, I was told only to bring it back for a refund with no offer of a remake. The establishment is far from me, and between my work schedule and the distance, I couldn’t justify making a third trip. My time for each part of this process matters just as much as the cost of the cake. I had seen other cake orders before mine handled with care, where staff sat down with customers, reviewed cake types and sizes, and took detailed notes. My order was scribbled on a scrap of paper with none of that courtesy. The cake fell apart because it hadn’t been given proper time to set, and in the end, I paid for a product that was not delivered to the standard or condition promised. Drinks and pastries are nice, but they don’t fix that the core transaction, providing the cake I ordered on time and intact, was not done correctly.
Sophia — Google review
We had several goodies! We tried the tiramisu, 2 different types of gluten-free almond cookies, cannoli, Nutella coffee, and a few other baked goods. All delicious!! I appreciated the small, local, bakery and coffee shop atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Thank you!
Amy P — Google review
I love this little spot - genuine people who make beautiful and delicious pastries. Not too sweet, good coffees, and authentic. Why go to Starbucks when this is here?!
Ashley — Google review
A while ago, I placed an order for a gluten free cake for a friend. I was super excited to receive it and it looked amazing! I placed it in the fridge before party and I made sure to keep it covered. When I took the cake out after 2 hours of keeping it in the fridge, the cake was extremely hard. I could only compare it to cement. The cake felt like it would chip a tooth. I don’t know how it’s possible and I was disappointed since I loved all the pastries here. Safe to say, we basically had no cake for the party and I spent around $40-$48.

So I was at a gathering at ex novo brewery and this food truck was outside and I had heard about the fries by a coworker and I had to try them, oh my gosh they were the best fries I’ve ever had. They have some spicy to them but it was perfect for me, even if spicy isn’t your thing you still have to try these fries. My son ordered a kids cheeseburger with fries and he said it was amazing. I want to add that the people making the food and serving you were awesome and polite and thats not normal nowadays in the public so not only was the food amazing the service was amazing as well. First time eating here and really impressed with the burger. We got a couple of smash burger without the green Chile and a couple with green Chile. I definitely did not expect the amount of meat on the burger. It was a pleasant surprise! Their fries were flavorful and crisp. They give you a decent amount of green chili. Everything was tasty, even better than a lot of the sit down burger joint. Definitely a must try. Staff were nice too. Keep up the wonderful work!!! Can’t wait to try your other dishes!

Was really excited to try this place after seeing them on Instagram for a long time. Went and got the spicy tikka chicken sandwich (came with fries) with a coke for $21 which I felt was kind of pricey. unfortunately, the sandwich was all breading, which had a funny taste to me that I did not like and a very thin piece of chicken. Willing to try again because I really wanted to like this place but something else from the menu.

Restaurant
Café Jean Pierre is a relaxed French bistro with a vibrant interior that offers seasonal dishes and an extensive selection of French and Californian wines. Located within walking distance of the Century 24 theater, this restaurant was launched by Chef Gozard. Although his eponymous restaurant closed at the end of 2015, Café Jean Pierre has become a favorite spot for many diners in Albuquerque. The casual atmosphere and personal touch from Chef JP make it a popular choice for regular visits.
An excellent dining experience on a quiet week night. I was looking for as close to a restaurant in France itself and this fit the bill perfectly. It took us back to some wonderful evenings in Provence that we remembered so well. My salmon and my wife's tenderloin were both perfect and I was particularly impressed with the cheese selection. I highly recommend.
Ranse99 — Google review
Absolutely wonderful. Everything we ordered was "out of this world". Took a friend there for my first time dining there. I can't wait to go back because everything on the menu looked scrumptious. The meals seen from the surrounding tables, I wanted a bite for them all. Oh ya, just writing this makes me hungry and desire to return for our next meal.
Steve G — Google review
After reading the reviews for this restaurant my mother, sister & I visited. I was skeptical, believing that no restaurant is THAT good. Well, I was wrong, this place is that good, better actually. The dining area was absolutely spotless and the decor charming. The service couldn't have been better and the food......aaaahhhh, the food! We started with escargot then my mother and sister both had the trout amandine, I had the beef bourguignon and we finished it all up with bananas flambe. The food was the best I've had in Albuquerque and the portions were large. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I know I'll be back and soon!
Kat D — Google review
Albuquerque fine dining at its best! My husband I love to go out to restaurants because we love great food. This is why Cafe Jean Pierre has become our favorite restaurant. We go there about once a week. We love the casual atmosphere and the fact that Chef JP comes out and says hello to everyone, The only problem we have is choosing what we want because all of the food is so good. My favorites are 1) the potato leek soup, 2) the spinach salad, 3) the filet of sole in a lemon caper sause and 4) all of the desserts! :-)
Becky R — Google review
It's get a 4.2 During lunch hour M-F, expect no frills. The waitress runs from table to table. Forget getting a glass of wine or beer, she's only there to get your lunch order and get you out the door. She's not runner, but she's more of a speed skater. Avoid the seafood crepe. It had the most ancient, stale, and tasteless seafood on Earth. Everything is in nice and memorable, but I was shocked to get such a substandard, and poorest seafood among all ABQ restaurants, EVEN cheap buffets for seafood. I can't possible see how Chef. Pierre thinks that it was acceptable. Do yourself a favor, go in the evenings or weekend, and don't order the seafood crepes!
Joseph V — Google review
I am French and so far I have had the "fruits de mer" crepe as well as the "boeuf Bourguignon" crepe. Both were outstanding! Portions were very large, sauces authentic, and I enjoyed the fresh vegetables (excellent carrots and green beans). The dishes were healthy and tasty. Also the warm bread was reminding me of my native experience, especially that it was served warm as if it were just coming out of my baker's oven. Wine was crisp and as generously served as the portions. Lighting romantic and server non intrusive. An excellent evening, no wait! Very affordable to boot. Bravo Jean-Pierre!

Made a reservation showed up early by 15 min only one table was seated at this time . We were shown a table that was not to my liking and I asked for another table both of the wait staff became snobbish and told me that they could not accommodate my wife and myself even though the restaurant was empty . We left. I find it strange that when I contacted them on their website and left my complaint I was never contacted it is obvious they don't care about how their customers are treated don't go
