Fun and exciting space for my toddlers to run around and burn some energy this summer. Engaging and plenty to do and see for a variety of ages. Loved the outdoor space, water tables, playground, and tree swing.

So much to explore! I went in with a group of children from my work and everyone left happy and wanting to stay longer! There are areas where children can enjoy for hours. Everything is clean especially the restrooms. I will be going back soon. Thank you for your warm welcome. We were running late and the girl upfront gave us a bit more time to explore.
Daniela I — Google review
We love Explora, I have came for field trips and just to visit and we always enjoy it! My girls had a birthday party here and it was fantastic! They decorated the room beautifully and the experiment they had the kids do was so cute and fun! I highly recommend birthday parties there, it made it so easy and our party host was so helpful and sweet as well as our leads that did the experiment with the kids.
Raeleen L — Google review
Mine and My kids’ favorite place to go to. So many educational different things to play with. Water stations, sand art area, toddler section inside. Nice playground and sand area with picnic tables outside.
Kerime S — Google review
We loved it here. Spent about 3-4 hours here and still felt like we could have done more. The only reason we left was to eat. There is a small cafe like area in there. Plenty of things to explore and it wasn't expensive compared to many other museums we've visited. We will make this a frequent place to visit whenever we come to Albuquerque.
Habeebah S — Google review
Brought our 8 and 6 year old boys. Haven’t been here since they were 5 and 3, but they still loved it! Super interactive. They stayed in the same sections forever. We were there for about 2 hours. Could have stayed longer, but we were hangry. Not too crowded for a Saturday on a holiday weekend.
Cat — Google review
A well thought out experience for all ages. Great, interactive exhibits on kinetics, light, sound, electricity, magnetism, optical illusions, and more. Some of the exhibits were showing a little wear, but everything worked. Very affordable, don't miss this if your in yhe area. Allow 2 plus hours at least.

Fun outing for families. Lots of hands-on activities to interest kids and parents. Outdoor options when weather is nice. Small Cafe with vegan and gluten-free options marked

Museums
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque offers a wide range of interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages. From dinosaur skeletons to space exploration, the museum provides an educational and entertaining experience. Children can enjoy hands-on activities at the Naturalist Center and observe real scientists at work in the Fossilworks Lab. Additionally, the museum's Sunshine building has historical significance as one of Albuquerque's first movie theaters, adding to its cultural value.
Lots of dinosaur exhibits here. And a volcano. And underwater stuff. And space stuff. Nice gift shop. We came here to see dinosaurs in 3D, but missed it and had to see desert elephants in 3D. Which was probably better. Not crowded on a Thursday in late January.
Carl T — Google review
Museum style exhibits and interpretation. Some amazing artefacts and rich detail for the interested. Incredibly contemporary looking ceramics from thousands of years ago. Gave me more insight to origins of life here, it’s native people and the way this part of the would developed and has been shaped by external forces.
Barbara C — Google review
My kids and I traveled to Albuquerque for a quick visit and had a great time at the museum. Prices were extremely reasonable and we enjoyed learning about the natural history of New Mexico. They have a lot of interactive exhibits that make visiting fun for all ages. The clerk at the front, Lisa, was wonderful and so friendly. Highly recommend buying tickets at the counter as you will get a great deal on show tickets. We saw the Mission to Mars show in the planetarium and the 3D Desert Elephants show. Such a great time!

My son's and their cousin had fun here August 3rd 2025. Free day, last day open for the year. Getting ready for renovations. Will be closed until next year. I can't wait until it opens again.

Always a fun time, I've been taking my son here since he could walk and now he's 11. He enjoys just as much too. We went for the Earth Day Family Event. I thought it was going to be a little more educational but still had some cute crafts to do. Love the new area especially the post card set up but wish they still had the space area.
Amanda M — Google review
This place was the best on our trip in Albuquerque. We were military so it was free. But it's worth every penny of admission they charge. We spend all morning there
M C — Google review
Great little museum! Not many exhibits that have changed since I was a kid growing home but my kids were done fast because it was “normal” for them. The earth quake part and the mars are was a huge favorite. Great option for littles to be inside for a bit. The Dino at the entrance was the best!
Krystalyn F — Google review
They are not open on Tuesdays. Several exhibits were closed or inoperable. Cafeteria was inoperable and no food or drinks allowed in museum. I don’t recommend for small children.

Petroglyph National Monument, located west of the Rio Grande, is a vast desert park adorned with over 23,000 ancient petroglyphs dating back to 1000 BCAD 1700. The site showcases prehistoric Native American drawings on stone walls, with some carvings added by early Spanish settlers. Visitors can explore several trails such as Boca Negra Canyon, Piedras Marcadas, and Rinconada Canyon to observe these historical rock carvings.
It’s a nice place to pay a visit if you are in the way to Arizona. Went to the Visitor Center and learn about the history and old Pueblo rock carvings known as the Petroglyphs. Before the hike, you may be encouraged by the information ranger, to watch a short video near the gift shop so that hikers may appreciate the monument. There are a few trails and the easier and short trails can find around 100 over petroglyphs. Other trails can have more than 200 of them. I do enjoy the visit and getting some souvenirs.
Brenda Q — Google review
We went here during the government shut down. The staff was still there! Giving directions and answering questions. Now the visitor center was closed of course but they were still outside the gates to help us. Wonderful humans! They didn't have the passport stamps at the "Main Gate" but drew a date stamp for me in my book. That guy made my day doing that. I loved him for doing that. When we got to one of the trails they had the stamp there so I got both ❤️. It made a sad situation in our country that more memorable because of the human nature, kindness, regular people sharing an experience together, for each other. It was amazing seeing the art someone left behind so long ago. Trying to understand what they were thinking. Seeing a captured moment in time of the thought of another human being. Some make perfect sense and some you will walk away wondering what in the world was that. If you get the chance take a walk where others have stepped for so long.
FxFalcon — Google review
Really neat place. Much larger than I thought. Started at the middle parking lot and walked to the rinconada trail to the south... thats a good distance away and not many petroglyphs along the way. Turns out there's 3 parking lots... north , central and south and I think even on the back side fir the volcano. After the south trail I drove to the north and there is neighborhoods and gas stations and restaurants in between... feels like an entirely different park but its connected. This was my first time getting ours of petroglyphs and I had no idea it would be so fun to find them hidden in the rocks. Gonna add this to my list of things to photograph as I travel.
Cyrus B — Google review
A piece of history that you definitely need to see! Very well maintained and great signage! The hiking trails range from moderate to difficult, depending on which site you choose to visit. We went with the Boca Negra Canyon which showcases around 100 petroglyphs and is not a difficult hike at all. I didn't see all of them but I saw quite a few. We spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes there. Also, I started with the Visitors Center and got some good info and a map to start. It is free to visit...
Pamela B — Google review
Amazing place to hike. Do be aware there isn't much parking (I went to boca negra canyon after not being able to park at the visitor center). Also, no shade, so wear a hat if you sunburn easily. Loved seeing all the pictures on the rocks from the past.
Kari C — Google review
Amazing stop some difficult hikes if you have mobility challenges but there is a nice walkway for easier options. Well worth the hike if your are moderately fit. Beautiful historical artifacts at no charge.
Rena P — Google review
Oh my gosh, why are 700-year-old rock carvings so fascinating?! I mean all it is is some people sitting around chipping away at these rocks to make pictures. Yet here I am in 95° weather walking all around this lava rock hill trying to find as many of them as I can. But there's so much more behind it than that because you don't know what these people were thinking when they carved these certain symbols. What they meant in life to them or to the community or to the universe. When I go to these places I always look around that area to see what kind of terrain and such that these people were living in day by day. Compared to the luxuries that we have today it looks so hot and dry and inhospitable but they knew how to live off the land and with the land and took advantage of every little thing that was provided to them yet they never wasted anything. There are several trails to chose from. Me... in the right place at the wrong time. #mysteryladystravelingfeet #thegreatoutdoors #historical #gypsylife #historylovers #travelwithme #hikingtrails #newmexico #lavarocks #makingmemories #AmericanHistory #NativeHeritage #petroglyphs
Diane S — Google review
From what we could see during the government shutdown it was a good place to visit. We walked in via the access trail and were able to go into the canyon to see petroglyphs. I really liked how there were very few signs pointing out where the petroglyphs were - it was like a scavenger hunt!

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a comprehensive museum showcasing pottery, arts and crafts, jewelry, and more from local Native American tribes. It serves as an introduction to the state's 19 pueblos, offering resources on Native American culture, history, and art. The center also features the Pueblo Harvest restaurant which offers a fantastic menu including the popular crispy frybread with savory toppings.
Such a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. Calming and clean, I’m so happy I visited. I’m not from any tribe in the US but am Dene (Dine in the US) from Canada and I was only charged $1, loved that. The display as soon as I walked in made me cry, it made me feel so connected to my roots and make me realize how proud and resilient we are as Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island. I then visited the craft shop and the restaurant that topped off my visit. Proud to be Indigenous! I highly recommend a visit.
Renee L — Google review
Nice museum dedicated to the history, culture, and arts of the Pueblo Indians. It was enriching and full of history that I was not familiar with. Very insightful...self-guided for $12, gift shop, and restaurant serving authentic cuisine.
Pamela B — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. We attended during Balloon Fiesta week on a Tuesday and were able to see a couple of different dance troupes that were very talented . We found the history of the people and arcitecture very interesting. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were phenomenal! Shout out to our server Mark! I want to go back because we didn't get to spend enough time looking at the exhibits.
Thomas S — Google review
The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is a must-see for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and understanding of the Pueblo Society. The museum has a rotating exhibit area that hi-lited several modern Pueblan artists, a fantastic exhibit on Pueblan architecture, and an expansive permanent exhibit on the history and culture of the Pueblan peoples. We also enjoyed the numerous small niches with videos, stories, and dialect demonstrations. We left with a much better understanding of the 19 Pueblo communities in New Mexico. We ended up spending almost five hours here, including about 2 1/2 hours in the exhibits, an hour at the dance/ ceremony, another hour at the restaurant, and a half hour perusing the gift shop and vendors. We arrived before 10 am and found plenty of parking in the lot behind the Center. Admission is very reasonable. The staff and volunteers were courteous and welcoming. We recommend eating lunch at the restaurant connected to the Center. The restaurant has a separate entrance for the public, but you can also access the restaurant from the museum.
Dawn J — Google review
What an amazing experience. This was our first visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Our group enjoyed the traditional dance and presentation. You can easily spend an entire day reading the educational plaques, enjoying the local art, watching the presentation, eating lunch and browsing the gift shop. Everything was so well done. It’s a great place to visit if you are wanting to learn more about the Puebloan tribes. You can either purchase your tickets online or at the entrance.
Rachel D — Google review
It had nice pottery displayed and some good interactive elements, like hearing different stories and dialects from different pueblos. It was a bit small, and the rotating exhibits were not as interesting. The food was good at the restaurant, and I'd want to go when they have live performances
Stephanie B — Google review
Such a beautiful place. The museum is full of beautiful, sacred art. The gifshop is the same there is a list of purchases I want. The restaurant was awesome, the food delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming.
Tracy P — Google review
Definitely a museum to visit to learn about the history, resilience and magnificence of the 19 pueblos of New Mexico. I'd recommend a good two hours, but it's very well planned (i.e. not a museum that overwhelms you with information). There's also a great gift shop and a cafeteria.

ABQ BioPark - Botanic Garden is a vast expanse of gardens with walking paths, offering seasonal classes, tours, and events. The 36-acre greenery includes stunning waterfalls, the Sasebo Japanese Garden, desert conservation areas, and a serene koi pond. It's an ideal spot for a romantic picnic amidst blooming flowers and natural beauty.
My camera was capturing beauty the whole time. The one part I enjoyed the most was my husband, and I felt like little kids playing in a very large garden. Slide down the slide. Have fun. I recommend coming to the Garden first thing in the morning since it does it pretty hot by noon in the summer. Enjoy yourself and experience. Memories forever.
Joellen R — Google review
Absolutely loved this place. One of the best botanical gardens I have been to. Very well maintained and clean. Each area clearly labeled and easy to find. Everything was vibrant and healthy looking and some of the paths were incredibly peaceful and relaxing to stroll through. 100% will be returning and highly recommend others to check it out as well. Also found the most adorable little roadrunner on the desert path who was trying so desperately to catch a grasshopper. Made my day to stop and watch him!

I visited the Albuquerque Botanic Gardens with my family on a Saturday and it was such a beautiful, peaceful experience. The Rose Exhibition was in full bloom and absolutely stunning. We loved exploring Heritage Farms with the farm animals, and the newly updated exhibition really adds something special. The Japanese Gardens were a highlight; tranquil, immersive, and transporting. It’s a place that feels both inspiring and calming, and it was the perfect way to spend the day together.

I definitely recommend bundling your tickets for both the Aquarium and the Botanical Garden, it’s worth it! The Aquarium is beautiful, with a great variety of sea animals and well-designed exhibits that are fun for both kids and adults. The Botanical Garden is just as stunning, full of colorful flowers, different plants, and peaceful walking paths that make it easy to spend a few relaxing hours exploring. Both places are well-kept and offer a nice balance of nature and discovery. A great spot to visit in Albuquerque!
Amy D — Google review
This is a pretty good size Botanical Garden, but lot of area was cordoned off due to maintenance. It didn’t seem like plants were maintained very well since much of the plants didn’t look too healthy. It was not easy to navigate the path since there were not that many signs.

The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum is a spacious and multi-level museum that delves into the fascinating history of ballooning. It features interactive exhibits, including a flight simulator, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of soaring through the skies. The museum showcases the significant role of balloons in various aspects such as war, peace, science, and adventure. From the early experiments in France with animals to modern stratospheric missions, the museum covers it all.
Hands down, the most interactive museum in the area. Mike's warm welcome from the moment we walked in the door was a great touch. He explained things so we wouldn't miss a thing. Thanks, Mike. We were beyond impressed with all the information we could learn. We love being adult kids, and this museum allowed us to play. I would come back when in the area. I hope one day to come and experience the festival. The gift shop team was so nice to talk to as well. Thank you for a great experience.

Cute and colorful museum. Interesting hot air balloon history. Small interactive kids section. Our 6 and 8 year old boys were happy and entertained. We came 90 minutes before closing on a Saturday(holiday weekend) and it was nearly empty. We spent an hour there. Ample parking. Worth a visit.
Cat — Google review
Fantastic museum located near the Balloon Festival field. The museum is light and airy, with exhibits that are both hands on and informational. Although the primary focus is on the history of balloons and those who fly them, I particularly enjoyed the weather exhibit. We were also fortunate to go during the Balloon Festival and participate in the Virtual Reality Balloon Ride. It was so much fun and easily made our visit worth the small entry fee. There is a large parking lot available next to the museum.
Dawn J — Google review
We had a memorable visit in the museum. Some spaces are very kids friendly as my toddler had the opportunity to play and write/draw in a board. Besides, the museum is very well documented, with tons of resources. We love the fact that there was real size models to apprehend the concept of air balloons. Plus, the scenery is well thought and well designed. Definitely a must do in Albuquerque.
Sakina C — Google review
This was a different kind of museum. Fun place overall. Answered many questions that have come up throughout my life. The kids area is super fun. There’s even a few things adults will enjoy. It’s only a few dollars and very worth every dollar. Others have uploaded great pictures so I won’t bore you with mine. But stop in and take your own!
John K — Google review
On Sundays, the museum was free before 1:00pm. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful docent who pointed out the areas of the museum to make sure to explore and spend time in. We learned how the military used balloons to get a view of the land many many years before drones. There was one activity where it would take your face and make it into a balloon. For some reason it kept making me with a mustache. It gave us a good laugh. We had a lot of fun exploring and learning about Hot Air Balloons.

Wonderful museum! Needed a good stop on a road trip and took a chance on this museum. Tickets were inexpensive, museum was the perfect size, super bright and colorful, informative and interactive. Great for all ages. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this museum! Local and international gem! They have awesome exhibits both for adults a children and new immersive outdoor children's exhibit being built now too. They also have one of the best - if not the best - weekly children's story and activity times in town (Stories in the Sky) and it's FREE! Marise who does the song and story time is world-class and Anita who organizes SITS is a veteran educator - they're both lovely women!

The young lady at the entrance was really kind and treated me like someone special. Being a member of RHZ she got me into both the zoo and the aquarium for half price. If you're going to be going to the zoo I'd highly recommend getting the package deal of the zoo and aquarium for a really reduced price. They are only two miles apart but we'll worth going to both. As for the zoo nice and clean animals look healthy and they are doing some remodeling to make it even better.

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND VISITING THIS ZOO IN THE SUMMER. We were just passing through Albuquerque and decided to visit the zoo — what a disappointment. You won’t really see any animals. A few birds and some exhausted kangaroos hiding in the shade — that’s about it. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. I strongly suggest checking the weather forecast and asking the staff if animals will even be out before you buy tickets. My husband and I love zoos and try to visit one in every city we travel to in the U.S. There were times when the weather was cool and a zoo employee actually told us in advance that the animals would be hiding indoors. We appreciated that honesty. Here in Albuquerque, nobody warned us about anything — not a word. I think that’s unfortunate. If we had known, we absolutely wouldn’t have gone. I get it — they’re trying to make money — but this felt wrong. We left feeling quite disappointed. The choice is yours, but personally, I wouldn’t return or recommend it during hot weather.

I love our zoo. Its much nicer than many we have been to. There is a great selection of animals to view: elephants, hippos, rhino, zebra, giraffes, polarbear, but to name a few. I love the fact that the animals have the choice to be out in their enclosures or inside where they have temperature controlled environments. That does may mean, however, that if animals choose to be inside, you will not see them. Sometimes I walk around twice just to double check. In the summer, it's always good to go early in the morning. There have been some great changes to the habitats at the zoo. The animals really do have great space. However, there has been ongoing construction due to this, and it seems about 1/3 of the zoo is currently closed. Four more habitat construction. I have been super excited about most of the changes except for the Australia shores. That has been disappointing after the big build up to its opening. The paths are well maintained, and zoo well mapped out. It's great that even in the heat of the summer, many of the areas are shaded by trees. You can always pop into the Penguin Chill to cool down and watch these cute amazing little creatures. It's always entertaining. There is also the reptile house and indoor amphibian exhibit. While the cost of entry is low compared to some other zoos, unfortunately the food prices inside are exorbitant. You might wish to pack a lunch or take snacks, and water in the hot summer. There are water bottle, refilling stations throughout the park. I do really miss the train and think it's a shame that the shuttle is no longer in service. One thing I think really needs to be remedied. Overall it really is a great zoo worth visiting.

While season can affect what animals are active and when, going when it's lunchtime can ensure the most popular beings like the chimps, orangutans and elephants are out on display. Most of the displays are spacious and allow for movement and enjoyment. I have a photo of a very unhappy tiger in a small cage from the 1970s, so these environments made me happy. The aquarium, botanical garden and zoo are worth visiting if you're here as tourist.
Bret C — Google review
We enjoyed our visit even though many exhibits were closed for maintenance. Our visit coincided with the NM State Fair and the zoo obviously wasn't expecting many visitors. Still, we had some surprisingly sweet encounters - an older gentleman playing his violin for the giraffes, a baby orangutan pressed up against the bars to get as close as possible to a fan, and a beautiful ostrich standing in line (?) to get ice cream!

It was a great way to spend my wedding anniversary! The weather was pleasant, the atmosphere was filled with people from different backgrounds with their children having fun. It was relaxing & joyful! The price to get in was fair, $11 if you’re a resident of NM. Only one upset, the price for a snow cone was around $9, boo! The employees were friendly. Parking was in a carport area which we were grateful for. The Albuquerque Zoo is a great way to spend time with family and make lasting memories 🌷the elephants were my favorite ❤️
Allison K — Google review
We had a lot of fun. There were lots of things under construction. That caused extra walking, and there were some abandoned displays. And some that need to be updated. The penguins were cool, but the exhibit was worn out, and the glass was scratched up, making it difficult to see. You would think they would finish one project before starting another. But overall, it was a good zoo. Some of the birds talked.
Chris W — Google review
I’m a self proclaimed zoo connoisseur with over 20+ zoo’s visited. The value of the ticket is more than fair given the variety of animals and the overall cleanliness of the zoo. My personal favorites are the flamingoes, zebras & penguins. I always learn something new at every zoo and I would recommend visiting if you are in the area.

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History in Albuquerque is a unique educational destination that showcases the fascinating evolution of nuclear science. As an esteemed Smithsonian Affiliate and the sole congressionally chartered museum dedicated to this field, it boasts a remarkable collection of artifacts, including outdoor exhibits related to space exploration.
Super cool museum, the artifacts and breath and depth of the research and information that went into the displays is top notch. I spent an easy 3 hours reading and looking at all the history. Definitely recommend if you need to kill a few hours before your flight!

This isn't just a dry science museum; it's a deep dive into the story of the Atomic Age, from early research and the Manhattan Project to the peaceful uses of nuclear technology today. We were especially captivated by the exhibits on nuclear medicine and the role of the atom in pop culture. A highlight was definitely the nine-acre outdoor "Heritage Park" with its impressive collection of military aircraft, rockets, and even the sail of a nuclear submarine. You could spend hours just exploring that area alone! Whether you're a history buff, a science enthusiast, or just curious, this museum is a must-see. It's truly a unique and memorable experience.

We truly enjoyed our visit to the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. The exhibits are thoughtfully laid out, with powerful storytelling that weaves together scientific, historical, and social perspectives. I especially appreciated learning about the intense uranium prospecting and mining in the Southwest- something I knew little about before. The Manhattan Project exhibits are engaging, and I particularly loved the story on ‘Oppie and Groves’. The outdoor displays of planes and bombers are impressive, and the gift shop has unique finds. I would have gladly given this place five stars, but I felt there could have been a bit more representation of the many women who contributed to the field. I did notice the acknowledgment of Marie Curie, but perhaps because I spent just over an hour, I may have missed mentions of brilliant figures such as Leona Woods Libby or a nod to Lise Meitner. Including more of their stories would only make the narrative richer, and more complete. I wish I had an entire day to explore every corner of this museum - there is so much to take in, and it’s absolutely worth a visit.

The nuclear history Museum explains the discovery of nuclear energy in New Mexico by a group of brilliant scientists led by Robert Oppenheimer who was intrigued by life in New Mexico. It is also a museum about how the United States implemented the use of nuclear power to project foreign policy across the globe. This is educational historical and explains for even the non scientists how nuclear power comes about. I was impressed with the educational displays and presentations in addition to the numerous aircraft, the 29 bomber, various missiles and replications of the Trinity site. For US history fan like myself and those who appreciate the the rise of US power, ingenuity, creativity and the role New Mexico plays as a land where the US tested nuclear power.

The Nuclear Museum in Albuquerque is a fascinating place to visit! The exhibits do a great job of covering important history in an engaging and educational way. I really appreciated that there’s also a small kids’ area where younger visitors can play and interact with hands-on exhibits—it makes the museum enjoyable for the whole family. The museum itself is very spacious, with plenty to explore, and the outdoor display of planes is truly impressive to see up close. A wonderful mix of history, science, and fun for all ages!

Neat museum. Lots of interesting details. I appreciate their website being accurate regarding open status with the current government shutdown 💻. 🧬 💣 🥼 🚀 🌎 🔭⚗️🔬🧫 ✈️ 🛩️ 👨🏾‍🔬 The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, established in 1969, offers a compelling journey through the story of the Atomic Age—from the earliest research in nuclear development to today’s peaceful applications of nuclear technology. Visitors are invited to explore how nuclear science continues to shape our world. Through a dynamic mix of permanent and rotating exhibits, the museum showcases the diverse uses of nuclear science across history, industry, medicine, and energy. It also honors the pioneers whose work has defined the field, presenting their stories in engaging and accessible ways. As a Smithsonian Affiliate and an institution accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum upholds the highest standards of excellence in education, preservation, and public engagement. BRIEF HISTORY The creation of the Museum in 1969 was the result of a six-year effort to establish a museum to tell the story of the base and the development of nuclear weapons. The Museum was located on Kirtland Air Force Base. In 1973, the museum's name was changed to the National Atomic Museum to reflect the growing national and international audience and the fact that it was the only public museum that preserved the nuclear industry's history. The Museum closed its doors at the Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico on September 11, 2001, due to heightened security measures. The National Atomic Museum was in its rented Old Town location from May 11, 2002, to February 7, 2009; the Museum re-opened in its current location in southeast Albuquerque in April 2009, renamed The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. MISSION The Museum’s mission is “to serve as America’s resource for nuclear history and science. The Museum presents exhibits and quality educational programs that convey the diversity of individuals and events that shape the historical and technical context of the nuclear age.” We recommend purchasing admissions within the same week they are to be used, but you will not be turned away if your visit takes place after the one-week timeframe. Importantly, the museum is also congressionally chartered, a designation granted by the U.S. Congress to recognize institutions of national significance and public service. While this charter affirms the museum’s vital role in preserving and interpreting nuclear history, it does not imply federal ownership or funding of the museum. The museum operates independently, ensuring uninterrupted access to its exhibits and programs. We welcome all visitors to experience the museum’s offerings as usual.

Comprehensive history and current status of nuclear energy. I was impressed by the availability of kid's interactive displays. We learned some things we never knew. We read almost everything and visited the outdoor exhibits; we spent about 2 hours. The staff and admissions and the gift shop were very nice. Check out their selection of books in the gift shop.

My ten year old loves history, especially WWII and this was a must stop on our recent trip to NM. We all had a great time, my oldest in his glory my youngest enjoyed the interactive Einstein area and the outside playscape. A win for all! There was several areas to talk to docents and they had an activity to share, which was a very nice touch. Lots to explore here ❤️❤️👌🏻

Cliff's Amusement Park is a seasonal destination that offers an array of thrilling rides, roller coasters, and entertainment for visitors of all ages. The park features the famous New Mexico Rattler wooden roller coaster and the Super Fire Ball, known for its 13 spins per minute. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the new Wind Rider for breathtaking views or experience the adrenaline rush of dropping down an 80-foot cliff on the Cliff Hanger ride.
My family and I visited the park this past Sunday, arriving around 2:30 PM. We paid $200 for admission for four guests, which included an additional $50 loaded onto a card for spending. We were pleasantly surprised to find that my two sons, aged 6 and 3, had an excellent time. My 6-year-old particularly enjoyed his experience, getting on several rides alongside his younger brother. We also enjoyed refreshments such as drinks, ice cream, chicken strips, and French fries, and we stayed until closing time. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the park. Throughout our visit, staff members were actively walking around and maintaining the grounds by picking up trash, which contributed to a very pleasant environment. Additionally, the presence of security personnel also walking around provided a sense of safety and reassurance. All the employees we interacted with were young, but they were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and attentive, which enhanced our overall experience. The water park was the highlight for my family and me, and my sons have already expressed their eagerness to return. Overall, I believe the $200 paid was very well worth the value and enjoyment we received.

Cliffs is always a great place to go. Im 51, and I've been going since I was a kid. I've taken my daughters there. The rides are fun. The lines are not very long. I took my granddaughter for the first time. She's 2 1/2. I'm Never disappointed!

We visited Cliff’s Amusement Park with our whole family, from an elderly grandmother who needed to rent a scooter to get around, to our two little girls ages 3 and 9. We all had an excellent time! The water area was a huge hit with the kids and the food was great!! However, what truly stood out to us was the kindness and care of the staff. My 9 year old daughter suddenly had a nosebleed while we were there. One of the employees, a wonderful lady named DJ, went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. She provided first aid, stayed with my daughter until the bleeding stopped, and made sure she was okay before we continued enjoying our day. It took time and effort, and we are so grateful for the care she showed. We felt safe and well cared for. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend Cliff’s for a fun, family-friendly experience with excellent staff who truly care.

Nice, clean, wasn't that busy, but possibly due to it being a Thursday when we went, but insanely HOT. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen & maybe water your swim suit for the water area so you dont have to change in and out of your clothes frequently. They have paid lockers that accept credit cards small is 15 & large is 18 for the day. I suggest to get a locker by the water area if you plan on taking in your swimwear and changing inthe bathrooms. Food is limited to high sugary drinks, water & pizza which to me are pricey. Maybe come with some snacks & ice water. Customer service is meh, I dont blame the workers as it was miserable being in the heat. I like this park & recommend to go during the week if you want to skip the crowds.

We visit Cliffs a few days ago, it was fun for the most part. The staff was friendly and helpful, one employee who stood out was a girl operating the wind rider named Ariela, she was such a sweetheart and very friendly, full of smiles and talkative. We really enjoyed our day out with our family. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because we tried to buy ice-cream and asked about the flavor of the month which was more expensive. We decided to try it, and after paying for it we were told that they couldn't make that cone for the machine being down. The employee offered to substitute it with the cheaper flavor cone. I requested the refund because I did not want the cheaper product at the increased price. Other than this we had a beautiful day. Hardly any wait times for rides. The park was clean, and so were the bathroom facilities, we intend on returning again.

This was our second time visiting Cliff’s amusement park in Albuquerque , New Mexico. We always have a blast. The fact they have a water themed section to cool off in between rides is a huge plus. The price is fair and the lines are not long to wait to get on a ride. All the kids working the rides are super friendly. It’s a clean park and a great environment. Much fun for a weekend family event. I highly recommend going to Cliffs amusement park.

Officer Salazar was there in the beginning as we got searched, in general he was talking to customers , guiding them through the lines , he was very helpful and kind. He spoke to our group very professionally and helped get our big group/team divided into lines so we could go faster. Then later during the day a little girl in our group fell , scraping both knees. Salazar happened to be around the corner and was able to get us first aid items. Very helpful, once again! Please give this man some recognition. It doesn’t happen enough and it’s well deserved. This man was greeting everyone as if he owned the amusement park and was genuinely happy for us being there. Overall a good employee you all have there with great energy. 💪🏽

Tingley Beach is a serene urban retreat located in Albuquerque Biopark, offering peaceful trails, fishing ponds, and a picturesque setting along the Rio Grande Bosque. Families can enjoy fishing in the public ponds and kids can try their hand at catching fish. Additionally, visitors can rent paddle boats or take a ride on a miniature train that winds through the park. The area also features picnic spots and a cafe for outdoor relaxation.
We had the best time visiting all the friendly ducks at Tingley Beach! My grandkids enjoyed seeing them play in the water, and glide while landing so gracefully. Tingley Beach has come such a long way from decades ago when I would take my kids. Now taking my grandchildren it is so nicely kept and clean. I feel like it is such a fun and family friendly place to enjoy. Lots of people fishing also. We also felt safe…great place for pictures of all the great memories. 🌻 great parking!

Stopped here while traveling and needed a break from driving. Plenty of parking, cute little ponds with locals fishing. There was a designated bike trail and a designated walking trail. The views of the Rio Grande were easy to get to and I barely saw any litter! Unique little turquoise ponds are further down the trail with lots of turtles. Worth a stop to be near some water in the desert lands. The welcome center was full of flowers and a playground for the little ones.

It's so peaceful here. Duckies to look at, waterfalls in different spots to enjoy the sound or to soak in no need for a swim suit clothing is just fine. Different flowers and islands. Beautiful scenery in every direction. This place is Romantic, full of nature. You can grill or go fishing. Definitely child friendly. Perfect for any occasion just choose a spot. It's great for a walk!

A place to come and fish. Lots of ducks and geese to relax to. Lots of good spots to fish in. They have trout and catfish to catch. It was right at Christmas time and I went exploring Albuquerque and ended up here. By several ponds were gathered Native American families and they were all picnicking and fishing I was made to feel right at home. It was a bright and beautiful Sunday afternoon. Most of the natives here work for the government or in the uranium mines. What a great place to live when you can go to the park and fish all year round.

The Sandia Peak Tramway, located in the Sandia Foothills on the eastern edge of Albuquerque, is a must-visit attraction offering a 2.7-mile aerial tram ride with stunning views of the city and mountains. As North America's longest aerial tram, it provides an exhilarating experience as it ascends to the peak of the magnificent Sandia Mountains.
My adult son and I went here when I visited nearby and it was THE best!! The tram runs people up and down to the top of the mountain every 15-20min up until around 6:30pm I believe. The ride up didn't take long at all and there was an employee riding up, giving the history of the area and the tram itself. The views were absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous! Once at the top, you can hike around at your own discretion. There's a beautiful ski lift around the back for the wintertime. There are also several trails. We did some light walking due to bear alert signs. There's a restaurant at the top as well. It's a bit on the pricey side. We were fortunate enough to catch two guys who were hang gliding at the very top of the peak! It was such an amazing experience! There's also a cute little gift shop at the base of the mountain.

a bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. We went on a partially cloudy afternoon, and the shifting light made the scenery even more dramatic, with layers of mountains, sky, and city unfolding beneath us. The ride itself is smooth and scenic, and once at the top, the short trail along the ridge to the cabin was breathtaking — one of the highlights of the visit. Do keep in mind that temperatures can drop quickly at dusk, even in the middle of summer, so bring an extra layer if you plan to linger for sunset.

The Sandia Peak Tramway was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking – from the city below to the surrounding mountains, it felt like a postcard come to life. There was no wait for the tram, which made the experience even smoother. The guides were great, sharing lots of history and interesting facts both on the way up and on the way down. It was definitely worth it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Mexico. The views alone make it unforgettable!

Beautiful! Lift operators were knowledgeable and friendly. All the staff were very helpful. We only managed a hike up to the Kiwanis cabin due to time constraints but it was beautiful. I would recommend bringing something a little more sturdier than running shoes to hike in, a water bottle and be prepared for altitude. My wife experienced a little bit of sickness. Her first time experiencing it. Other than that I highly recommend this tour.

Must have tickets in advance. Arrive 2 hours early. If possible have 1 member of your party wait in line and others walk around. Bring layers, it is cold at night. Packed in to the tram 🚊, hard to see out. On the way down folks were nice and let the kids be by the window. Need a reservation for the restaurant. Go during the day so you can hike. We went up when it was light, then down after sunset. If you looked hard, saw lights in the distance from the balloon fesita glow.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend taking this tram 🚋 for stunning views! ⛰️ 🤩 ☁️ We had the earliest reservation and checked in at 8:45am. We were the first group to go up around 9:17am. Window🪟 view was great for photos and videos. 📸 🎥

The waits can be long due to the popularity, so do plan to have one person in your party that can hold your place in line. The trams can hold 45 people, standing room only. About 2 seats available. The views are worth it. The restaurant has casual and reservation only dining. The food is excellent. We went up during heavy fog and rain on the peak and still had a great time. This is a time consuming outing, so pack your patience. If I had a choice, I would go up again, but only if the peak is clear.

Situated in the heart of Old Town, Albuquerque Museum is a local history museum housed in a modernist building. Since its establishment in 1967, it has been renowned for showcasing the diverse culture and rich heritage of the Southwest through its extensive collection of over 7,000 items. The museum features maps, photos, crafts, and high-quality art from the region. Visitors can explore rotating exhibitions with a community focus and enjoy live performances at its state-of-the-art amphitheater.
There is a lot to see and take in here. One thing that stands out for me was the gigantic map of Albuquerque on the floor of the Albuquerque room. The outdoor sculptures in front and back are very impressive, too. There are also some rooms showing videos of our shared history. This is a great place to bring children as well as teenagers as it is a learning experience for all ages.

We visited the Albuquerque Museum today and were absolutely impressed. This place is a treasure trove of art, culture, and history. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, covering everything from the region’s rich cultural past to striking contemporary pieces. I loved the mix of beautiful paintings, striking sculptures, and historical artifacts that bring New Mexico’s diverse stories to life. The entire space is clean, bright, and beautifully maintained — truly a pleasure to walk through. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. One thing I particularly appreciated was how accessible and well laid out the museum is. It’s easy to navigate, with plenty of benches and spots to pause and take everything in. The sculpture garden is a peaceful oasis, and the rotating exhibitions add something fresh for repeat visits. If you're in Albuquerque, this museum is a must-see. Whether you're an art lover, history buff, or just looking for a relaxing, enriching afternoon, the Albuquerque Museum delivers. Can’t wait to return!

I do not remember the names of the rooms, but only two really represented what I used to expect from a city museum, the one about Albuquerque and the other one about the Library. But I think it is my fault, because all the rest is about the local artists and it is completely correct right? I really think it is, but unfortunately I also believe I don't know how to appreciate art, I simply don't know. I really loved some paintings, like the one with two indigenous, and some other ones, but the piece of concrete in the ground, I think I will never understand that. The seesaw is also incredible, a mix of sadness and genius.

There are also multiple outdoor viewing areas and lovely walking and biking paths. Just bring cash for entry and be prepared to spend more time than you think.

Very nice and well maintained state park. With walking trails and hiking trails along with access to grande rio river. The visitor center offers abundant of information and restrooms and drinking water. Make sure to bring enough water before you head out for a hike.

Really nice little park. All trails are flat, so you'll see all ages here. Lots of shade as well on the more interior trails. Very nice visitors center. Good place for a 1-2 hr walk.

We were there in early November. Trees were gorgeous You pay a $5 fee to park but the Visitor Center is free. The building is made of several feet of concrete so it is cool inside. There is a small gift shop with stickers, books, toy animals etc. There was a very informative decent. We didn't have time to walk the trails but the whole scene is natural beauty. Lots of birds around and the cranes were just starting to arrive

Had a 4th grade field trip for my daughter here. Super friendly staff, folks from Game and Fish were also there to teach the kids. They each got to release a silvery minnow into the Rio Grande River, so they thought it was awesome. The building and restrooms are nice, spacious, and clean. Good place for a hike along the Bosque, very peaceful and pretty.

Absolutely love this area for walking, it's a shame that the park rangers have absolutely no idea what they're doing though and keep destroying the beavers dams!!! Put the rangers back in school and actually educate them on what a beavers dam does for the environment!!! Especially here in the desert!!! Get a grip and actually care about your community!!!!

Hinkle Fun Center, located in Albuquerque, is a family-friendly entertainment destination established by the Hinkle family in 1994. The center offers a wide range of activities including bumper cars, laser tag, mini-golf, go-karting, paintball and more. With two large buildings and a state-of-the-art paintball facility, it's designed to cater to families looking for a fun day out.
One of the best places on earth the unlimited package lasted for hours so we could get some food and come back. Everyone was so sweet the attractions were so fun we spent 5 hours there without realizing it was that long. The rock climbing was so fun but scary and it was cool that it was multiple buildings. Make sure to bring a lot of money tho because you're gonna spend more than you think. The water ride was my favorite totally worth the money if you like golf mini golf is right there. All the claw machines without the clamps are rigged I doesn't 35 on over game

August 2025. NO student, military, or teachers discount. Expensive! There's a S P L I T building that you need to walk to for Lazer Tag. Go cart aren't for younger children if there's NO adult over 18 to go with them. The sanitizers are all out.

My family had an amazing time here. The value for your money is great. Dang kid came home with a car boot full of stuff. The bumper boats were hilarious to do. It was so fun getting random people soaked.

Hinkle rules!! It is so cool being able to share a loved place from my childhood with my own child!! They have real humans to answer phones+ questions when you call, the prices are super fair (cheaper than a movie night for 3 tbh), the facilities are clean, the ride last a decent amount of time (not those standard <1min carnie rides) and the staff are wonderful! Specifically, Elijah and BerDel's customer service skills made our experiences extra special because the interactions were genuine and un-forced (opposite of, say, Chick-fil-A employees). Hinkle for the win!

We got the birthday package. Was not impressed with the price we paid didn't include food or drinks. No refills on drinks or pitchers unless you get the souvenir cup. Didn't really include anything special for the birthday kid besides a pin button. In the past we have come here for birthday parties before was way better for the price. Overall kids had fun. Wouldn't recommend for parties.

I went to play laser tag and gokart with the ultimate pass. The waiting was minimal, depending on if there are birthday parties. I enjoyed the laser tag, however, I wish the room/setting/game mode could be bigger/better. Still 5/5

Haven't been here in a while I use to bring my kids here since they where little to do the mini golf course because the other rides where not for them. Know that they are older we got bracelets for the big rides too the golf course needed maintenance specialy on the rocks it was beautiful a few years ago Know the water it's dirty and it doesn't even have water we always got pictures on rhe big rocks that had a water fall it's sad to see it not being maintenance but my smallest son had a amazing time like always the arcade was the best part.

Zoos & Aquariums
The ABQ BioPark Aquarium is part of the Albuquerque Biopark, which includes a zoo and botanical gardens connected by a narrow-gauge railroad. The aquarium features an impressive 285,000-gallon ocean tank where visitors can observe sharks and sea turtles. It offers a diverse range of aquatic life from the Rio Grande to the Gulf of Mexico, including colorful fish, eels, and more. The Shark Reef Cafe provides a unique dining experience with stunning views of the ocean tank.
Amazing! Beautiful! Wonderful! And that was just the girl at the ticket booth! Really the whole place was incredible! The wife and I very much enjoyed the different types of gardens but were especially impressed with the huge wild toad and the pet table koi in the thoughtfully designed and cared for Japanese garden. On our way out we enjoyed seeing the friendly workers decorating the tiny train area with string lights; then we happened upon the best part, the fantasy area for kids! The giant bugs and vegetation along with the cave and massive fallen tree along with the termite mound maze definitely lent to a feeling of being transported into a world of imagination! All of that along with eating lunch next to the incredible aquatic display in the lunch room was well worth the $20 admission fee, and we didn't even have time to enjoy the included entry to the aquarium! Give yourself a few hours to enjoy these two parks included in the one ticket, we had a plane to catch! By the way, the burgers and sweet potato fries are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Wow are they delicious! As for advanced ticket purchase, only do this if you know it's likely to be busy, maybe a weekend or holiday; they require choosing the hour you will arrive ahead of time, we didn't want that stress so figured we'd chance just purchasing when we arrived and were glad we did!
Elias R — Google review
Nice educational experience for kids in area but between construction and space, not quite worth the $20. Nice to give locals and military a discount but nothing for educators...I hope the extra 50 cents will help improve and enlarge facility. Something to do to avoid heat of day but don't plan on a long, extensive visit.
John H — Google review
This is a delightful little aquarium. It doesn't take long to get through and was surprisingly small. But it is very clean, critters are well labeled and in good health. The otters were so adorable and even got to see them being fed and the large viewing tank was nice.
Magic F — Google review
This is a really clean and well kept aquarium that has lots of different kinds of fish. The main aquarium was exciting to just sit and observe the fish being fed a little food by one of the keepers who was in the aquarium. When you go to the shark cafeteria you can see it from the other side. Nice and relaxing.
Roger H — Google review
Very awesome place and perfect set up they have you could see everything there was no having to stand in any crazy way just to see anything in the tanks it was all perfectly open and the sign being backwards so it can be lit up the right way on the tank was the most perfect touch. Would absolutely recommend this place to any and everybody. We asked about where the otters were because we didn’t see them and one of the workers called on the radio and they had them out in less than 10 minutes. The price was worth it because they also had the botanical garden ticket with it and that was also so beautiful. Only 4 stars though because everything in the gift shop was super overpriced ): $26 for a plushy just seems way too over it for me. Other than that everything was perfect. From the workers to the tanks and fish 10/10

I Love to bring my kids here especially on hot days. the exhibits are always so fun to see. I would have 5* if they still had the room where you get to touch done of the creatures.

Who doesn't enjoy getting to spend an hour looking at beautiful fish! This aquarium is big enough to hold your interest for over an hour, but not so large that you feel like you have to commit the entire day to it. I absolutely love the Rio Grande River exhibit that you go through on entry.p

Festival
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is an annual nine-day event held every October, featuring extraordinary balloons from around the world. With over 500 pilots and participants from 20 different countries, it's a truly remarkable experience. The festival offers a friendly and festive atmosphere with breathtaking views of the balloons being filled up with flames before taking off. It's a must-see event that attracts visitors of all ages, offering an unforgettable experience for everyone.
The place is GREAT it definitely was a FREE EVENT unless you actually want to pay to sit at the balloon fiesta museum area near the hot air balloons and pay $30 or more. The state was set up at a distance from the museum GREAT VIEW FROM ANY DIRECTION by the way. Jumpers for the children (not for all children because of size and weight) which caused frustration for some people. Lines to jumpers were worth the wait not bad at all. Porter potties available and clean (NO STANK) HAND SANITIZER available. Food trucks, vendors bring your own tent, food etc. Police, security, staff available and trash bins. FIREWORKS more than 15 mins. Free parking in many places. DEFINITELY A GO TO PLACE FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY!!! WOO HOO
Diana P — Google review
Bucket list event. Kids can collect pins from each of the hot air balloonists. Couldn't believe no extra costs after affordable park and ride tickets. Get there very early. Lines to get on busses are LONG, like 1.5 hours even when leaving the balloon rally. Go to a morning launch and an evening glow. Carnival food, good lemonade. Drone show was neat. Fireworks were great. Can skip official gear tent, line to get in and you can buy similar things at the Albuquerque airport.

I am a pilot of 15 years and have been going to Balloon Fiesta since 1998. The last 4 years I have been a sponsor with my company TBC General Contracting. Every year the people behind the scenes at Balloon Fiesta office make the sponsorship process smooth and very beneficial to get my company name out. This year in particular Barb and Kathy were extremely helpful as the week went on with accommodating my needs and taking care of all the people that went to the hospitality tent. If you're thinking about going to this event, it is world-class. My only suggestion would be that you plan at least three to four days on the ground because weather can sometimes keep the balloons grounded. Thanks again everybody at Balloon Fiesta office, Jennifer, Stephanie, and especially Barb and Kathy, another amazing week in the history books.
Jesse N — Google review
Liked it because we wished to visit the event for 10 years. It was great to see so many balloons in one time. However, none of them were launched in the air, due to the small wind. The balloons were taken out by 9am. Such a long trip, standing in the enormous line for the bus since 5:30am (longer than any DisneyWorld)…I guess it was colorful experience for the bucket list 😊😊😊.
Tatiana K — Google review
Such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend going to a balloon fiesta lift off at least once in your life. It was truly incredible to see.
Maren H — Google review
I was surprised that the same week I was in town they had this festival. I had a really hard time finding the parking lot but after talking to a police officer two times he finally got me into the right road. When I got there it was a nice walk, but nothing hard. I was in total amazement when I saw all the balloons and how close you come to them. Plus they had over 400 different balloons that had to go a mile away and come back to drop a ball onto a x on the field. Surprised most of the came so close. I always thought they go out have a chase crew following them and when they were in a place to land they would pick them up. But these guys flew out came back and landed where they wanted to.
Roger H — Google review
Their weather related refund policies are absolutely horrible!! You spend good hard earned money for special tickets and they won’t refund or replace the tickets for another event the year of the purchase or the next year you’re pretty much out the money if the balloons do not go up! My suggestion don’t purchase their chaser club or gondola club tickets as you will be out all the money that you spent on those tickets even though the event doesn’t happen. I do believe this is against the policies of credit card companies that if they do not provide the service that they promised then you’re entitled to a refund. It’s just like a concert, if a concert does not happen and it’s no fault of your own. Then they should refund those money spent on a ticket that they did not provide the service. Shame on Balloon Fiesta for these policies! As a side note if the balloons do go up, it’s a great experience!

Remember there are 2 buildings! Highly recommend even if you are not into racing, I will definitely be back so I can really check everything out. I was only able to stop by for an hour and it wasn’t enough time!

If you are a car guy or like motorsports, this is a must see. The people who greet and guide you can tell you interesting stories behind a lot of the displays/ cars. This park features an extensive network of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails that cater to all skill levels, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery. With picnic areas equipped with barbeque grills and shaded spots for relaxation, it’s perfect for family outings or a peaceful day in nature.
Beautiful claret layered mountains holding cacti, brush, and trees. Hiking here is a perfect way to spend an afternoon--beautiful sunset views looking west towards Albuquerque. The trail is fairly level for a good while. There is plenty of space and eventual rising elevation if you'd like a more physically intense hike.

My favorite place for local mountain biking. Many trail combinations for mountain biking and hiking. It never gets old and there is terrain for all levels. Open space staff was friendly and attentive when I purchased a season parking pass for $30.00. There's plenty of parking available. Summer hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. It is common to see wildlife including deer, rabbits, roadrunners, birds of prey, and snakes. You may see an occasional bobcat, if you keep your eyes open. There is also picnic areas there with tables and shade structures. You could rent areas for large parties if you desire.

One of my favorite places to hike in Albuquerque. Lots of trails and options for hiking and lots of picnic tables. The pit toilets are usually very well taken care of. It is a really beautiful area. If it's a pretty day on the weekend, better get there early though, as the parking tends to fill up rather quickly. They recently have moved from paying at the entrance to paying with card at the trailhead. I have a pass, and not quite sure what the message on the machine meant (see picture), but I put it in my window as usual. I guess. From now on, I will not be buying the annual pass and just paid at the trailhead.

Excellent area to take a break from the city. There is plenty of parking and picnic areas. The level of adventure you choose here is up to you. Some trails are moderate and others as they reach toward Sandia Peak become very steep, very quick. The views of the mountain and then the city are great!

Trails are waiting for you to explore them. Easy trails to walk and feel like you get your heart going. You can ride your bicycle when pedestrians aren’t on the train. We stopped to say “we love you” to an old friend who left us to soon on her memorial bench. Take a hike, get lost, just go.

From SW Explorers League, an advanced outdoor group. This park competes with the Bosque area as two of the most unique public access areas in the West, within a city. Try both of you love the outdoors and visit ABQ. In EGOS, surrounded by the granite pinnacles of the Sandia Front, you can choose from multiple rambles in nearly level high desert, or tackle the Pino trail to the crest low point, and the D Baca trail which ends in a steep climb to the 1955 TWA crash Site. Both afford complete tours of all the varied montane habitats the Sandias can offer. Take a picnic to enjoy in the well kept ramadas with nice restrooms nearby too.

I went specifically to visit the art museum. What a great art exhibit. All of it was fantastic, and the 360 degree fresco was especially amazing to experience. 66 Diner is a whimsical, retro diner located on the legendary Route 66. Originally a Phillips 66 gas and service station built in 1945, it was transformed into a nostalgic ode to 1950s diners by Tom and Christy Willis in 1987. Situated between Nob Hill and downtown, this diner offers traditional fare such as top-quality burgers, shakes, and regional specialties like green-chili chicken enchiladas.
It's like taking a trip down memory lane, with both the food and the decor. I hadn't had an ice cream soda in years, but you can get all flavors here, and real milkshakes, too. At night, the outside is fantastic. It's a great place for a meal, or just dessert. The staff were friendly and super nice, too.
Pamela C — Google review
The food and the ambiance are great, but the true 66 Diner experience is sitting on the counter stools watching the waitresses work the shake and float station and eavesdropping on their patter. The Albuquerque tukey sandwich I had was one of the best sandwiches that has ever graced my mouth. Bits of turkey and green chilies, cheese and butter toasted bread were ambrosia. The afformentioned ice cream station is a highlight. I ordered a peanut butter and banana shake that came in a throwback shake goblet and 2/3 of my shake in the mixing glass. I also ordered a float that was perfect when my waitress suggested creme soda. Is there a kitsch factor with 66 Diner? Yes. Does that only add to how delicious and enjoyable everything was? Yes.

The retro interior is absolutely charming — neon lights, Route 66 memorabilia, and that classic diner vibe that makes you want to linger. The staff were incredibly friendly. One server went out of her way to recommend a shake and malt, and noticing that our Lyft was waiting and there were several orders ahead, she personally made mine so we wouldn’t have to wait long. That small act of kindness really stood out. I tried the Black Forest shake, which was rich, indulgent, and exactly what I hoped for. Even though it was just a quick visit, the combination of atmosphere, hospitality, and flavor made it a great experience.

Really neat place. Wait was a little long, but well worth it. Burger was great and food was even better. I really wanted to try the shake but wasn't in the budget for this trip. Really neat diner themed to the days of old. Originally was a service station and then became a diner in 87. Well worth the stop.

66 Diner on Route 66 captures the true spirit of the classic American diner. The retro-style interior, checkered floors, neon lights, and vintage wall art instantly take you back to the 90s. Even the exterior wall filled with old signs adds a special touch that makes it stand out. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. If you love classic vibes and good energy, this spot in Albuquerque is absolutely worth a visit.

A little step back in time. Fast and friendly service. Good quality burgers and a big shake selection. Also flavor adds for your sodas!

Located in Old Town, the Rattlesnake Museum & Gift Shop is a unique and educational destination dedicated to rattlesnakes from around the world. It features live exhibits of various species of rattlesnakes and other venomous reptiles found in New Mexico, as well as taxidermic specimens and informative displays. The museum aims to dispel myths and misconceptions about these creatures, offering an opportunity for visitors to learn more about them.
I absolutely loved the rattlesnake museum and I will be back. It's a small museum but I still spend a lot of time there and it was not just snakes but the art and history and culture involving snakes as well. Just a cool collection and a tortoise named Georgie who roams the museum. I had a really great time and I recommend it.
Deanna G — Google review
Lots of knowledge, lots of memorabilia, and yeah, lots and lots of snakes!! Awesome museum dedicated to rattlesnakes. There are short films and fun facts throughout. And the owner is a very friendly guy with a wealth of knowledge!
Pamela B — Google review
This was a really cool museum. I wasn't sure what to expect but it surely surpassed what I had in mind. It had everything my husband was looking for the entire time we've been in TX NM and CO. The snakes are incredible. They had venomous and non venomous snakes. The lizard and tarantula was cool to. The gift shop has all sorts of stuff from shirts and necklaces to shark teeth and arrow heads. So much more. This is definitely worth the trip if you like the outdoors and the wild.
Tacie G — Google review
Finally snakes!! I have been all over Texas and New Mexico and Colorado and finally someone who had snakes. You would not believe how awesome this place is and a treasure trove if your into snakes. This place was awesome. All different kinds of snakes venomous and some non venomous. Tarantula and lizards. What a combo. Anyone who enjoys outside would enjoy this. Definitely recommend!
T G — Google review
This place was an absolute delight! Some of the snakes were strikingly beautiful - especially the Albino! I appreciated how some exhibits challenged the old notions of snakes as symbols of evil. The displays were vibrant, and full of surprises, with the Gila monster stealing the show. Scattered fun facts kept the experience lively, and the curator was a joy to chat with. The museum also touches on the curious history of snake oil, with all its claims of healing powers - reminding us that the snake’s place in culture is as complex as it is misunderstood. Truly a must-visit, not just for the reptiles themselves but also for the way the museum explores how snakes have been perceived across history and cultures. A place this good? You could say it really knows how to rattle up some charm 🐍!
Bartika D — Google review
The owners are phenomenally caring people. The museum is larger than it appears from the outside with so many cool exhibits. There are over 80 total live animals on display including 31 different rattlesnake s.... Amazing! It's reasonably priced, worth the wait, and they even offer school visits. One man we spoke to while there said he's come back every year since he was a child ... I think he said this was his 27th visit! That's a snake lover for you.
Kerrie B — Google review
The Rattlesnake Museum is a unique and fascinating stop in Old Town Albuquerque. The Museum displays a large number of live rattlesnakes, as well as other snake, lizards and a few spiders. Signs on most of the tanks inform as to the type of snake, its habitat, and relative danger and/ or venom toxicity. There were also related videos showing throughout the space. Although I don't particularly like to see living things caged, the reptiles and other creatures all looked very well cared for. I thought that the owner has done a really nice job of creating an exhibit that informs and educates the public. We really enjoyed visiting the museum and spent over an hour there.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Albuquerque, the UNM Duck Pond offers a delightful retreat for anyone seeking a moment of peace amidst urban life. This picturesque spot is perfect for families, with its gentle slopes, towering trees, and playful ducks creating an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely picnic or simply unwind with a good book by the water's edge, this serene oasis has it all—without costing you a dime!
This is a little hidden treasure of Albuquerque. It's two duck ponds that hosts lots of ducks and turtles! Great place to bring the kids to watch the ducks and to sit and relax. There is a waterfall and benches strewn around the place. Beautiful in the evening. I highly recommend this place for picnics and to just watch the ducks. Great find!

Enjoyed walking around UNM. Brings me back to my college days there, but I can appreciate the landscapes and buildings more now that I've been away.
Deanna G — Google review
Visited during the summer so there weren’t too many people around but it wasn’t deserted. I imagine it would be next to impossible to find parking during the school year. Def quite relaxing and peaceful. Ducks and turtles. Did some walking around and sat down in some shade to cool off before getting on my way

Nice place. Lots of grass. Ducks are cool and fun. Turtles, too. I have been a part of UNM, and this place is kinda like my home of 13 years, up this point. It's worth checking out. Beware of parking. Other than that, enjoy Travelers.

This is a most beautiful oasis on the UNM campus. A lovely pond with ducks, turtles, birds, shady greenery, and colorful flowers gives lively students a respite from the desert heat and intense study.

A very calm place to take kids to kill time or have a picnic. My kids(age 12, 6 and 2) love coming here and feeding the ducks. Watching for turtles and fishes, and they even have some goose or swans here. The fowls will follow you a bit if you feed them, but they do not bite or chase. It's a beautiful scenic area

Located in the heart of Albuquerque, Balloon Fiesta Park is a must-visit destination known for hosting the famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta every October. The park offers various sports and recreational facilities, making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. With well-maintained lawns perfect for picnics and scenic views, it's a great place to relax and enjoy nature.
We attend the first morning session at the gondola club section. The balloons couldn't ascend due to the high wind but we loved seeing them inflate. The balloon glow was cool. Breakfast buffet, coffee, soda and water were all included as well as 3 free alcohol drinks. It was a really great experience. We will go again and buy the gondola club tickets again.

Approaching that time again! Went to 🎈fest in ‘23. Received free tickets from a former hospital I worked for out there. I was glad I went. One of the few good things about ABQ. That would explain its popularity with the locals, as well others. Many interesting and beautiful 🎈to see. Plenty of good photo opp’s…
Anthony A — Google review
Definitely worth checking out at least once! Just be sure to know there’s both a morning and night session—don’t show up midday expecting action. Parking’s manageable, but come early. Tons of vendors, so bring a chair or blanket, kick back, and soak in the hot air balloon magic! 🎈
Josh Q — Google review
Absolutely breathtaking!! What an incredible experience. This is said to be the largest balloon festival in the world. I highly recommend booking the morning show. In the evening the balloons don't actually ascend into the sky (they remain on the ground & just light up). You should plan on arriving early (4am-4:30), especially if you want to catch the drone show (very cool & worth seeing). There is coffee & breakfast food for sale on site. Bring a fold up chair or a blanket for the ground as there are no seats available.
Ariel F — Google review
I wasn't sure I wanted to go, but my friends already bought tickets so I did go. I had trouble finding the parking lot, but with the help of the Albuquerque police department I finally found it. Walking towards the park I was able to watch the drone show which was awesome. Getting there I had to find my friends which I did about a hour after I got there. But to be fair I was so spell bound on all the balloons and how you could go up and talk with them. Everyone was so excited and it was like being in an place where everyone treated each other with so much respect. Everything about this adventure was mind blowing and entertaining. You must go at least once.
Roger H — Google review
We had a great time at the balloon festival. It POURED the first night. We were able to use our tickets the next day to get in since it was canceled. Fireworks, drone show, skydiving team, wood carving, balloon launch, special shape balloons, lots of fair food, and a merchant building with lots of amazing things to buy. Kid zone with activies balloon related to do. You can get in a balloon basket and see what the inside of the the balloon is like. Our kids are adults so we didn't fully see that tent of attractions, but it was very crowded and looked like a good time for the kids. Would highly recommend. Hoping to bring the grandkids from Ohio in the future. Make sure to have cash for parking.
Heather H — Google review
We enjoyed the Gondola area. It was absolutely phenomenal! The only drawback was the chaotic traffic going to the venue. No clear signs posted (ESPECIALLY if you are from out of town). Snail paced traffic flow which resulted in loooooooooooong wait to get to the Gondola parking area. At the Gondola Club, the food was cold, not enough food was available. But the gift bag was lovely and the seating was wonderful.

Frontier Restaurant, a beloved Albuquerque establishment since 1971, offers a down-to-earth dining experience with American and New Mexican cuisine. Located near the University of New Mexico, it's popular among students for its late-night hours. The culturally-infused space features local and national artworks, including those representing John Wayne. Guests can enjoy dishes like the breakfast burrito and the Duke City burger in a charming adobe architecture setting that promises an authentic taste of Old Town history.
Took my father in law back to this place. He told me he used to go often in 70s. And oh man the flavor of the famous green chili stew has not changed. The price are so incredible inexpensive. Service is great. And the line go thru really quickly. They have a self serve salsa, (hot and cold) really good. They house made tortilla really fresh. We ended up going back in the evening just for a couple bowls of green chili stew.

This is THE restaurant in Albuquerque that you cannot miss. Great atmosphere, we arrived around 8:30pm after the tramway ride, but the place was still buzzed. A dozen or so staffs were still busy in the open kitchen, taking orders or serving food. The restaurant is huge, almost a block long, but it was still almost full. The food, yes, the food was great, the portion was generous and the price was more than reasonable. The tortillas were as fresh and fragrant as it can be, best tortillas that I had. The tortilla chips were warm, thin, crispy, also the best that I had, cannot go back to pre-made ones anymore. The taco was wonderful, juicy beef, fresh veggies, pretty addictive. We also tried the famous cinnamon roll, it was not bad, but not memorable at all. Overall, frontier certainly lives up to the hype, I absolutely loved it. It would be great if they also serve sopaipilla.

We Google searched for a place to eat before hitting the highway to drive home. We found this place to be open but the second we walked in the old lady was very rude. Must have been way past her bedtime. The food was ok. The sweet roll was dry and too hard for them to even be serving. The refried beans were yummy though. There was a young kid working and he was absolutely a gem. I hope he succeeds in life.
CRYSTAL S — Google review
We came here starving after a nice hike and accidentally came right after the church rush on a Sunday morning. This place was packed. The line was a little long but it went through very quickly and we were able to order in less than 5 minutes. The food that came out felt home-cooked and was so affordable. These are prices that are probably closer to pre-2010 levels. I ordered the half enchilada with the beef and the green chili and it was so good. The fries are very crunchy and you can tell they've been fried twice to give it that texture. Highly recommend this place as a New Mexico must visit

Folksy, hometown restaurant where the employees are local people, students with terrific service. I ordered the vegetarian burrito with a regular soda and under 10 to 15 minutes I was served, eating a delicious burrito at a clean table. I like supporting family-owned restaurant. 👍🏽🙏🏽🇺🇸💯👏🏽👏🏽

I was traveling through from Alabama and I was craving something local to NM. I asked a few local people for recommendations. I then ordered the Huevos Rancheros with "Christmas" peppers on top and a green chili cheeseburger (with corn tortilla for less carbs). Both were really good. I then went back for a bowl of the green chili stew, which was also highly recommended. I will say, the "pop" of vibrant flavors I was looking for wasn't there, but the food was overall pretty good. Finally, I got a cinnamon roll for my wife back home. I sampled a bite while there and it was just ok, nothing spectacular. I'd visit again when passing through. There's absolutely no way a semi-truck w/ trailer could fit here, but I was able to park with just my tractor a few bloakcs away. (I left the trailer at my delivery down the road)
Kent B — Google review
The food is absolutely delicious! I got green chicken enchiladas because that's what I always get when I go to a New Mexican restaurant for the first time. The flavor and tenderness of the shredded chicken took my breath away. They do not skimp with the chile or the chicken. The rice is well seasoned and perfectly al dente, not mushy or bland at all. It came with a freshly made tortilla and honey, essentially a personal size sopapilla. Also got the beef nachos on the side and even that was made with care and flavor. The staff behind the counter were efficient and kind and the staff out cleaning were so sweet and helpful. There's so much sitting room and the decor is a great blend of rustic and nostalgic. I would definitely go back again and again!

Always a hit and fantastic breakfast at Frontier. The Huevos Rancheros green were absolutely delicious! Talk about busy, but what do you expect on Central Avenue right across from UNM. But as busy as they were, service was still fast and friendly. As many, many times as I have visited throughout the decades I always spot a new piece of artwork. I always enjoy seeing all the beautifully framed pieces of artwork. I can’t wait to go back again and enjoy another beautiful Sunday breakfast with my Babe.

First time visit. Wonderful experience. Great service from the staff as the have an “open wait” format, meaning any server or employee can and will help you. Flawless attention to detail. Food is excellent, portions are huge, atmosphere is classy, food was out so quickly. Started with the fresh made from scratch guacamole. Killer stuff. For the main course, I had the seafood enchiladas, wife had the cheese enchiladas. Complimentary sopapillas (sic) were fantastic. Prices are so reasonable. Raspberry sweet tea is great. Will definitely darken the doorway again in the future. Can’t go wrong here.

Very friendly staff and delicious New Mexican food. We got the Indian Taco, enchiladas, and plain sopaipilla. The enchiladas are small but tasty. The Indian Taco is delicious and my husband especially enjoyed the shredded they use. Green chili was good. First time trying sopaipilla won't be the last! Prices are fair for the quality and quantity you get. Absolutely worth a stop!

Big, fluffy sopaipillas! I ordered the Indian taco (on fry bread). The food was pretty standard—nothing special, but nothing bad either. It seems to be nostalgic for most people and offers a lot of options for everyone.

I ordered a half of sheet of enchiladas. They were so greasy no one could eat them. The plates were full of grease. When I called and spoke to the manger he told me it was from the cheese. Take a good look at the phots. It was so bad no one could eat them. I was told I could get a credit for half of what I paid for it. No thanks. This was a cater order.

Wow! $46 for breakfast for 2. The server offered chips and salsa, sopa, red or green; without knowing it, everything was charged ala carte. The surprise came with the receipt. The potatoes were so yellow that they seemed to have jaundice. I ate nothing, the carne adovada was so watery. The coffee was so old. The service was horrible, but the server was sure to be there to pick up the tip. I will go elsewhere, the food and service used to be good a few years ago. Will not recommend anymore.

San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, an adobe church founded in 1706 and rebuilt in 1793, stands as one of the oldest buildings in the city. Located just north of Central Avenue at the west end of Route 66's downtown stretch, this historic site offers a glimpse into New Mexico's Spanish colonial past. The church has retained its original Southwestern style despite undergoing renovations over the years. Adjacent to the church is a museum showcasing furnishings and art from its history.
This is a House of God. It is inappropriate to review these sacred places. My experience was equally blessed, as I met staff and parishioners who were doing God’s work with children and with the homeless in Albuquerque. I will remember this place fondly and will return if I ever get the chance.

The church is just beside the Old Town Plaza of Albuquerque. It's a smaller church but not short of solemnity. There's a gift shop beside the church full of religious items and artwork. The Turquoise Museum in Albuquerque offers in-depth guided tours of a natural turquoise collection, featuring hands-on exhibits and a gift shop. From raw turquoise rocks to elegant jewelry, visitors can explore the full spectrum of uses for this stunning gemstone. The museum showcases the cultural significance of turquoise to the region and beyond, with interactive exhibits and guided tours providing an immersive experience.
I’m a huge crystal, rock, and mineral nerd since I was a kid, and I found the museum delightful. The mansion it’s housed in alone is a sight worth seeing, and it’s enchanting. The turquoise collection went above and beyond my expectations. It had everything—from art to fashion, from ancient to contemporary, from artifacts to raw and polished specimens. There was even a collection of imitation turquoise. You learn how it’s gathered and mined and treated. There was so much in the museum that was impressive, breathtaking, really artful, or just worth seeing, like the George Washington Stone. They had specimens with history from many mines, so I even left with an idea of what my favorite locales and quality of turquoise are. There’s history and art with turquoise all around the world. There’s so much cool art in this museum. It was well worth admission price. I learned a lot. I also like how it was organized. You watch a short orientation video in the beginning that shows you where to go, then you’re on your own to wander. They have QR codes, but I prefer reading plaques, which they had plenty of. I thoroughly enjoyed all the different rooms and exhibits. Then there’s the gift shop, which also exceeded expectations. They have expensive, impressive high quality specimens and jewelry. They also have affordable pieces, antique jewelry, and even imitation pieces. The man working in the gift shop, Mario, was really knowledgeable and friendly. The stuff they had was so good, so I was very indecisive! But I ended up with two beautiful raw specimens and an antique ring. The owners and staff were all very welcoming and I think they’ve made this private museum a really lovely, informative, interactive museum. If you love art, history, minerals, jewelry, fashion, or architecture, this museum has something to impress you. A really fun experience. I’d definitely come again, both to spoil myself in the gift shop and soak up more of the museum and learn more. There was plenty to see and learn.
Anne C — Google review
I don’t understand some of these one star reviews or some of the other complaints. I bought my timed ticket easily and arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time slot. You receive an email that gives you all the details you need. My guess is that people don’t read it. Using google maps to find the museum was easy in my opinion. There is a decent sized sign that says Turquoise Museum parking so I’m not sure why people have trouble finding the place. This is a private museum and they can make all the rules they want. It’s basically a private collection. If you don’t like the rules, don’t go. Anyway, I loved walking around the rooms. There’s a lot of information on turquoise itself and many displays of jewelry made of turquoise. I roamed around for over an hour. I forgot the names of the owner and proprietor but they were extremely helpful when I had wanted to get a necklace evaluated for their $35 feet (there are other options). They were honest and didn’t charge me as my necklace wasn’t worth evaluating. I stayed for quite a while talking to staff. It was worth visiting in my opinion.
Laura W — Google review
The turquoise collection is beautiful, but the descriptions and explanations throughout the museum are poorly done. Just big blocks of text that didn't say much of anything, and a lot of information repeated. They should've hired someone who knows what they're doing to curate the "exhibits". If you actually want to learn something, Google it. If you just want to look at a beautiful collection, go here. The price is too much for what you get.
Rachael S — Google review
One of a kind experience a museum devoted to a gemstone. Extensive collection of various types of turquoise and how they are used around the world, how turquoise is mined, the colors how it came to be one of the most precious and desired gemstones in the world. The family makes it clear they are not a government-sponsored museum this is a private collection for turquoise. You could spend hours going through each and every room I believe it's 8 hours I only spent 2 hours and still felt like I learned a lot, now my appreciation for turquoise and those who collect this beautiful gemstone. I feel like turquoise and New Mexico go hand in hand.
Phil P — Google review
Absolutely had a great time here!!! Not a place you can go once and see/ know even a quarter of the history behind turquoise, mining, artifical, etc. I definitely plan to come back and do a bit more!!! They are very QR code based so try to ensure your phone is charged and your camera can read codes lol. I didn't mind that aspect as it did leave a lot of room for more jewelry and displays. So much to learn there and worth the trip. Yes you do pay online for a ticket and need to arrive at least 10 minutes before your time, but you can stay as long as you want till closing so honestly it's worth it to me.
Chelsey G — Google review
Neat place to visit with lots of cool pieces of turquoise. From the chandeliers to all the little selfie spots, very neat place to see.
Kari C — Google review
If you like turquoise or jewelry this museum is probably a five-star for you. They have a fairly unfriendly online requirement ticket policy and only unlock the doors for a few minutes to let people inside. They say everyone must watch the 10-minute video and it is only shown every 30 minutes. They can only sell as many tickets as seats in the room with the TV for the video. If you are not there when the video starts you miss your spot and are out your money. Overall: huge collection and too much to learn. A poor method of dealing with potential customers. If you think you will leave with the knowledge of how to identify natural turquoise, you will not.
Byron J — Google review
Worth it! The whole reason I went to the turquoise museum was to see the inside of that mansion! I didn’t really know anything about turquoise. I was surprised when the tour was top notch. The guide was a miner, super knowledgeable. It was a treat. I thought I would be board, I was not! Guide was excellent and fun. The history was awesome. House was cool too. A must do. The University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque is a renowned public research university with a diverse campus showcasing architectural styles ranging from Pueblo Revival to Brutalist. The Zimmerman Library, designed by John Gaw Meem, reflects the iconic Pueblo Revival style with elements like vigas and adobe-like stucco. Despite the dry climate, the campus boasts impressive greenery and is home to various museums covering anthropology, geology, art, and biology.
I needed a break from the hospital one evening.. so I decided to take a walk on campus ad found this gem. Duck Pond, but really the whole campus is beautifully landscaped. You're in an oasis far from reality at times here. Perfect medicine

Apparently Everyone's Not A LOBO. I am an UNM Alumni. I went to visit the area a while ago. Was walking through the SUB and went to use the restroom. From there Security had tried to grab me. They had no reason to try to unlawfully detain me. It was an embarrassing moment for myself and the people I was with. They targeted me and later when I asked what their reason was they claimed it was "None of my business". I wrote a letter to the Dean in detail about the absurdness of the incident. How low the University has become to their graduates. I hope I'm just the example.

This is a nice large clean campus. The only bad thing is probably the bicycle theft. Even if you use ulock, there's high chance that it might get stolen. Duck pond is one the best places to chill. Architecture building library has the best view of Sandia mountains from campus. If you love to watch full moon, Johnson field is a good place!

I decided not to attend this place for two reasons. I received an acceptance letter riddled with grammatical and style errors, and no one responded when I sent several emails pointing out that this makes a terrible impression on new students who are on a higher level, in terms of expertise in the English language, than UNM apparently is. The other reason is that I paid my application money and was accepted last year, and when I went to schedule classes, I was told my acceptance somehow had expired, and I would need to pay the application fee again. Not doing that. So they turned down tens of thousands of dollars in income from me as a student over $25. If that doesn't say everything that needs to be said about the collective intelligence of this institution, nothing possibly could.
Brian S — Google review
This has been the worst education experience I have ever had. not only are the majority of instructors absolutely useless, no communication, no updating syllabus's, and constantly shifting and changing the schedule so its impossible to know when anything is due, but the students and faculty are absolutley no help and will do anything to find an excuse that essentially says "its your problem". the problem I needed help with was something I couldn't do on my own because it needed permission from them. When I went to go get the problem fixed, I was tugged around all campus to find help to tell me the only people that can help closed their offices at 11. Not for lunch. That was when the office closed their walk-in hours. And that doesn't work for me, and when I tried to fix the problem that day, becuase I was unaware until the final day to fix it, and I have other things like a job and family resposibilities that makes that an impossibility for me. And now you have essentially kicked me out unless I find help, but why the hell would I do that when your "help" has been nothing but blaming the victim and refusing to help in any way.

Alot of stuff in a small area so u can browse a bit before u decide which direction you're gonna go food wise. There is also a bar and a dispensary. This spot has it all for a good night out .. or in at home . Party supplies and chill supplies in one spot. Loved it . Wish there was one in Valencia Co.

One of my favorite spots in ABQ to kill a few hours. Get some food. Have a beer. Play some arcade games. Chill and watch life go by. Shop for different touristy stuff. Great outdoor space. With lots of picnic tables. Shade. Fire pit for the cold months. Right off the highway. Typically not too crowded.

Love the service and food. Indoor temperature is comfy. Big dislike about the Fake Sunflower around the table downstairs. They keep scratching the arms of the people walking through. Please relocate them, as you will never know, what if a mother carrying an infant and the baby got scratched?

Super tasty! We went to Rustic On The Road for the burgers and fries, and Nitro Fog Creamery for the ice cream! It was all super tasty! I'd definitely recommend the Black, Blue and Bacon burger.

Paradise. I swear, Social Hour is the best beer that ever existed, and the Social-er hour is even better, but I wish it came in like 4%, so I could drink it all day without being a mess. Very nice bartender here. Great music. Wish I could come here every week. I LOVE it. Santa Fe Brewing is the best. Picture includes my to-go from nearby for the bus.

Highly recommended for anyone with young children — it’s a safe, entertaining, and all-around wonderful destination!

Visited this park with kids while on business trip and I have to say it is one of the best parks I’ve been to and hands down 5 stars. The best part of the park is that it is completely fenced all around perimeter so kids can’t wonder off. Beautiful view of Sandia at any part of the park. Great entertainment for kids all ages. Lots of shaded area.

What a great park! Lots of space (6 acres) fully enclosed so kids can’t run off. Green grass with plenty of climbing bars and swings. When we were there Saturday morning about 10 there were at least 2 birthday parties in full swing and another about the start. See photos… Highly recommended!!

The most publicly inclusive park I have ever experienced! Not only do my Littles enjoy this park, it seems everyone is always enjoying this park when we go, including entire families!
Joyce R — Google review
This use to be my son's favorite place to get away and play, I've never personally been a fan as they don't allow pets and I personally believe the two should always connect in some way even if it had a separate dog park as there is plenty of open space for that to be built but they have now constructed the playground in a way that makes it unfavorable and controversial only providing one single swing in one area and only 3 in the smaller kids area when this is supposed to be the amusement parks of playgrounds, it now has more walking space than actual play activities. Both my son and I who have been going here for many many years are very disappointed with the changes and stipulations and will likely not return as it's not near what it use to be and could potentially be. There're plenty of other more accommodating playgrounds that also allows your fur babies that will be way more fun for your children

Clean and easily accessible. We were on a roadtrip home to Texas from Utah and found this park for our dogs to enjoy a little break. No one else there mid-afternoon except for littles and moms on the playground. We had the dog park to ourselves for R&R. Great experience.

One of the coolest parks I have ever been to. My daughter had a lot of fun and there was so many things for her to do. Loved how the park was gated and had areas for kids if all ages.
David A — Google review
The play area is great. However they NEVER have the splash pad running like it should. Every time I go I call the park and complain. They give the same song and dance every single time over the last 4 years, “it will get better it’s just taking time for the water pressure to build up”! Never happens! If you are lucky, maybe 3 of the fountains have water coming out about a foot high. All the kids have to fight for 3 little streams of water. Disgraceful!!

Nestled in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology is a treasure trove for anyone fascinated by human cultures and histories. This esteemed institution, part of the University of New Mexico, focuses on global heritage with a special emphasis on the rich traditions of the Southwest. Established in 1932 as Albuquerque's first public museum, it has become a vital hub for both education and tourism. Visitors can explore an impressive array of exhibits that delve into archaeology, cultural anthropology, and evolutionary anthropology.
Such a nice little museum! I loved checking it out while in town, so much cool information and exhibits

This is a fantastic museum. The special exhibit on Milton Snow’s Depression era photos was fantastic, educational and illuminating. The permanent exhibit is also outstanding. Smithsonian level quality. You go, UNM!
Allison B — Google review
First off, there is reserved parking for museum guests on the west side of the building (on a small drive off Redondo West Drive). Parking permits are available at the museum gift shop. The entrance to the museum is on the south side. While the exhibit is about anthropology in general, the focus on pre-Columbian Native American culture. The highlight is a simulated archaeological dig site. There are numerous artifacts including a very informative pottery display and a section on petroglyphs. There's also an excellent section on human evolution with skull casts and a life-sized model of Au. afarensis.
Bret C — Google review
Definitely worth the trip! For one thing, it's free. For another, after exploring history and science museums in 9 or 10 states now this is my favorite, tied with the Natural History Museum also there in Albuquerque. Both of them have their own pros and cons but this one is a smaller and thus easier to get through and it's free. My least favorite part is rather particular to me. I don't like being told I can't take pictures and there's a place upstairs where you're asked not to without explanation. If there's something I can't do that I can do elsewhere I like to at least we told why. Did the bits are carefully and thoughtfully laid out with a clear history unfolding. You see how the ancient homes in the Southwest evolved, how pottery and ropes evolved. You see how camps were laid out. That one helped my imagination the most. It wasn't at all what I expected. You see a replica of an actual dig site! That was exciting too. There's also a huge exhibit of all sorts of baskets. I wish I'd had more time to study them. The ingenuity of basket weaving amazes me. To think all you're doing is taking some basic fibers and wrapping or folding them around each other and somehow creating a three-dimensional object. It's like origami on a whole other level. Origami done with what's left after the paper shredder. Incredible! But Lucy stole the show. Lucy has been my favorite hominid since I was young. She's a famous specimen of the Australopithecus afarensis species. I could write pages about that encounter alone and there was much more than her in that exhibit but for now I'll just say -- go. See it for yourself! It's free so you have nothing to lose and your chances of it being a great experience are very, very, high.

I really wanted to come by during the balloon festival so I can see new Mexico's culture and history. I learned a lot looking around and even got some keep sakes and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with my family.

I was very intrigued when I first heard about this museum. The exhibits were really interesting and very informative. I thought the exhibit with the makeshift archeological set up very interesting as I've always had a soft spot for archeology. I also enjoyed the early man exhibit. While it was small, there really was alot to learn. I look forward to going back after their new exhibit is set up.
Inquisitive M — Google review
Great museum. The displays on local Pueblo culture was more interesting than that of generic human history even though this was intriguing as well. I was most fascinated seeing the rocks and arrowheads, almost exactly similar to ones my father had collected up north in Montana. There is a large amount of pottery; amazing to see the intricate designs and shapes; equal to or more impressive than pottery from other parts of the world at the same time (but somehow these get labeled as 'prehistoric'...all you can do is LOL at how dismissive academia can be of Indigenous culture at times). Overall a great way to spend an hour or so, located right on UNM campus, which is also good for a walking tour to see the unique architecture. There was no admission other than being asked politely to sign your name in their guest book. Students work and run most aspects of the museum, go and give them your support.
Casey T — Google review
For a smaller free museum, this was a great experience. The staff was very friendly (especially the director of public events) and there was even some free refreshments and pictures. I'm a history nerd and truly enjoyed the overview of New Mexican archeology and the reproduction of an actual archeological dig.

Awesome jewel off of Coors road. A nice new facility with beautiful art and wonderful history of the surrounding area. Inside has telescopes for bird watching. The 40th Anniversary Celebration was an event of a lifetime for me! As the proud mother of a staff member of Albuquerque Open Space(s) I learned so much at the panel discussion and reveled in the celebration and look back of all the accomplishments thus far, projects in the works, and hopes and plans for the future. I cannot be more amazed by the day to day discovery and wonderment and the beauty of our environment. But, to learn from these experts of our unique open spaces they work to protect and preserve, wow! You will see our ecosystem; the diversity and ever evolving and delicate ecology that happens spontaneously and yet ever so intentionally with great inspiration, experimentation, exploration, collaboration and hard work with renewed appreciation! The facility is educational and houses great spaces for exhibition of art, events, amazing gardens, and places to take your children or the child or intellectual in you, to learn and take away what is vital about being part solution and participant; formal and, or organic. It is a fun and entertaining space, a trail head, as well as a place for music, dance, poetry, the arts in all forms and formats; and for this event, cake, too! BRAVO! TO 400 MORE!

Range Cafe Downtown is a beloved American restaurant located in Albuquerque, offering a diverse menu of New Mexican dishes and inventive spins on classic diner fare. The restaurant prides itself on its friendly and attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and support of local art. With a made-from-scratch bakery, espresso bar, and creative cocktails, Range Cafe provides a delightful dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Got into town late and this was in walking distance of my hotel. Glad I tried it! The restaurant atmosphere was upbeat, the server was friendly and pleasant and the food was excellent! I wasn’t really up for a burger or Tex mex but the menu had a lot to pick from and I opted for the turkey platter. It was one of the best Thanksgiving style meals I’ve had. The turkey was tender, green beans and carrots were the right mix of roasted flavor and crisp texture, the mushroom gravy complimented the mashed potatoes, dressing and turkey perfectly without overwhelming the flavors, and the cranberry sauce was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. I had a strawberry cinnamon roll for dessert and it certainly lived up to the quality of the rest of the dinner. It was gigantic and (despite how it looks in the picture) it was not overly sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to find the icing had a mild flavor to it that worked really well with the layers of pastry and didn’t overwhelm me with a sugar high. That having been said this was definitely more than I could eat and was a shareable. This was a good start to my first time in Albuquerque and it was a great meal. I’ll be back tomorrow to try breakfast…

Had the basic breakfast and wife had SW bowl. Both were great, biscuits wonderful. I recommend getting the red and green chili sauces on the side, great flavors. Cute decor (oven ranges (antique) and we took a pecan roll to go (can't forget the best part!). Would have been 5 stars but waited 5+ minutes for someone to greet us at the door to be seated.

Delicious apps. Green Chile Strips goes great with the sauce since it’s a little bland. I was surprised that the coleslaw was spicy. Spicier than the green chile peppers. I destroyed the nachos. Chicken was cooked perfect. The food arrived hella fast. Great service too.😍

We grabbed seats at the bar and had a great time our bartender was super friendly, helpful, and fun to chat with. The food hit the spot my husband had the nachos, and I went for a chicken enchilada with green chile sauce, plus a salted caramel boozy iced coffee that tasted like dessert in a glass. Overall, solid food, awesome vibes, and a sweet drink to top it off!

Our first time in Albuquerque, and the Range Cafe does it perfectly! I had biscuits and gravy with ham, eggs and potatoes. The ham was extraordinary - light smoke and flavorful. Sandia Mountains, located in Albuquerque, offer a unique mountain vacation experience. The range features diverse activities such as hiking among cacti and sage in the foothills or exploring pine and fir-lined ridges at the mountain top. Additionally, it serves as a picturesque wedding venue with its stunning peaks overlooking the region. Visitors can access various trails of different difficulty levels for outdoor activities like bird watching, skiing, and snowshoeing. The area also provides wheelchair-accessible spots and restroom facilities.
This was a great place to go to. From the information that I gathered, you can either drive up or take the sky rail. Once you get to the top, it has breathtaking views of Albuquerque and the surrounding area. The climate is usually 10-20 degrees colder than at the bas3 of the mountain, and the type of plants is different at the top than at the bottom. The main plans that i saw up there were Douglas fir trees and populous, a type of aspen. I took the tram up the mountain, and it did not disappoint! The workers give a bit of the history of the tram and give facts about the surrounding areas. At the top, there are multiple trails and some beautiful views. I took the trail that goes to the old stone cabin, and it was a great experience. I went in June, and I still found snow! The cabin itself is an interesting part of the history of Sandia Mountain. Overall, this was one of my favorite trails in New Mexico, and I would love to go back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Ride of a Lifetime with Rainbow Ryders! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our sunrise hot air balloon ride during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was pure magic; the kind of experience that makes you forget your phone exists because every second feels like a once-in-a-lifetime postcard. From the moment we arrived before dawn, the crew’s energy and professionalism made us feel completely at ease (and genuinely excited to be up that early!) Watching the sky fill with color as dozens of balloons lifted off (including ours) was surreal. Floating above the desert as the sun broke over the Sandias? Absolutely breathtaking. Words don’t do it justice, but I’ll try: peaceful, awe-inspiring, and somehow humbling all at once. Our pilot was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly passionate about what he does…the perfect combo for a bucket-list experience. The landing was smooth, the champagne toast after was such a fun touch and every single person from the team made the morning unforgettable. If you’re even thinking about booking with Rainbow Ryders… stop thinking and just do it. It’s not just a balloon ride — it’s a memory you’ll replay and remember for the rest of your life. 🎈☀️💛

This was an amazing, once in a lifetime experience! Our flight was indescribably, beautiful, and our pilot was extremely knowledgeable with many years of experience. I know it’s expensive, but I highly suggest you take the private flight because it allows us a lot of peace, beauty and quiet as a sun rose, and all the rest of the balloons rose around us We couldn’t have asked for a better experience

We were so fortunate to have an excellent pilot named Mateo; and his crew was amazing too! I highly recommend Rainbow Ryders and if possible ask for Mateo! Thank you for this magical experience; it truly was a bucket list moment.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park is a fantastic indoor trampoline center that offers a wide range of activities for all ages. In addition to trampolines, the park features climbing areas, rope courses, dueling platforms, and ball pits. Visitors can enjoy gravity-defying fun with options like fitness classes, dodgeball games, and Ninja-style obstacle courses. The park also has birthday party rooms available for special celebrations.
Had a blast at Urban Air with my nieces and nephews! The kids (and adults) loved the climbing gym, play areas, and all the trampoline zones — dodgeball, dunk contests, you name it. Super fun, clean, and well-run. Great spot for a family outing!

We had a wonderful time at Urban Air! The park had so much to do and was a hit with the kids. I especially want to give a big shout-out to Brandon—he was amazing with helping the kids get set up for the zip line. He was so patient, kind, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. It's always a great experience when the staff go the extra mile. Thanks again, Brandon! Here's a photo of him with my son — such a great moment!

had a terrible time brought my little brother and sister to have some fun and cant even watch them without the staff telling me to move away from the trampoline glad i paid almost 70$ to not be able to supervise my 6 and 9 year old siblings. i also loved waiting 30-40 minutes for some nice microwave wings. don't bring your kids here its a mess

We had my daughter’s birthday party here and she had a blast! This wouldn’t have been possible without the staff who were absolutely wonderful. Our host Brooklyn was nice, courteous and very attentive during our time. I’d like to shout out Carlos too who was very helpful as well. Thank you Brooklyn and Urban Air for helping my daughter have a fantastic birthday party.

Yesterday was our first and last visit to the Urban Air Adventure Park in Albuquerque, which included myself and my twin 6-year-old boys. Overall, the variety of attractions (adventures) was neat, but the place was obviously packed with birthday parties on a Saturday. In general, the staff were all teenagers who were "ok," but nobody was particularly friendly, welcoming or hospitable. Value was OK (there is huge overhead to run a place like this), but there are absolutely no discounts on Saturdays which is understandable. The line at the concession stand was too long to stand in, and I speculate there might be a more efficient way to take orders (i.e. app or kiosk, etc.), so we did not eat there as we had intended. My kids had a lot of fun until we got to getting geared up with harnesses for the overhead "zip line." A grumpy employee, "Bailey," who was doing this role did not speak clearly with her instructions to us (which are obviously important from a safety standpoint) and I am hard of hearing (especially considering how loud the place was). I told her that I had a hearing disability, and asked her 3x to speak up, to which she not only refused but seemed to become angered by the request. I then politely asked to speak to her supervisor/manager, which she also refused. I then patiently waited for 15 minutes for such manager to appear, but nobody ever came, so we left and will not be back. I am a really reasonable person, but this kind of attitude does not earn my repeat business when there are so many competing alternatives. It's still a neat concept and with some better management it could probably be the kind of place we would patronize frequently. Read the other reviews and then draw your own conclusion.

We had an absolute blast! My daughter had so much fun, and I have to commend Kaitlyn. She was incredibly helpful and super friendly! If you have any questions or need assistance, definitely ask for her. We were looking for something to do for a few hours while we were in town, and she made the experience so enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Do not waste your money here. Their corporate system is a joke. If you buy a deluxe membership the hassle you go through to upgrade to ultimate is a nightmare. The staff on-site cannot help they direct you to an app and a corporate bs number. The staff have no ability to upgrade your membership while you are there whats the point of that? Staff were incredibly rude randomly. My son has the ultimate membership and for 2 months he has been able to do all activities on site including the sky ropes. Now randomly two months later he isn't allowed on it because his height is slightly under the minimum line requirements??. This so called minimum height requirement has never been strictly enforced until now. My son was devastated to be denied access to his favorite attraction randomly after a few months. Terrible customer service. Corporate wont even call you back same day so what use is it to try and upgrade your package when you cannot get it same day ?? They will take your money same day but the hassle to upgrade is a joke. We only upgraded because my son was allowed do the sky ropes after the second day there and every other day fro a few months no issues. The ball pit stinks of pee and cleanliness is not great. Don't waste your money there are better indoor facilities in town than this one.

Went on a Sunday for the drag brunch, have a great time! There’s a bar, I suggest you take cash. Cards are accepted but cash is king. We go the brunch which gave us two turns to hit up the buffet which consisted of bacon, sausage, meat and meatless omelettes. There were fruit cups, yogurt parfait, muffins, potato casserole. They also had beef tacos, which you could build on your own. Overall really nice addition to the show. The show consisted of 6 Queens, with amazing performances! Take your cash! Loved everything about this Sunday show. Would recommend, my table and I had a blast!

Great overall experience for my daughters birthday. Wish they clearly stated that each parent needs a wristband just to watch their kids. That was an unexpected cost. Parents that don't do anything aside from keeping an eye on their younger kids (8 and younger in this case) should be allowed in if just keeping an eye on their kids and nothing more, but I understand it could be hard to monitor that as well. The place was clean, and the food was pretty good. Party host did a great job as well.

Our first time visiting was awesome! Our 8 year old son had a blast and us parents had fun too. This place does seem smaller from the outside but I was amazed at how much they were able to put inside. The food was really good too! (It’s on the spicy side 🌶️) This is definitely a place we will come back to. However the workers did warn us that the place definitely get really busy and can become boring waiting to get to a game, the best time to come (go figure) is when everyone “wants to be outside”. So really cold or hot days, I expect this place to be packed. We must have went on a slow Saturday evening because it was not busy but enough kiddos for our son to play with. The only reason I gave the 4 out of 5 stars is because when we walked in it was a little warm but when we started interacting with the games, it became soooo hot 🥵 inside. They do offer free water in the lobby area however the heat almost forces you to buy a drink and sit inside the cafe area so you can still be apart of the fun. I can’t imagine how hot this place gets if it was super busy. So once that is fixed this would be a year around fun place to go. General Admission gets you into everything and it average price for what you get but the food definitely priced well and very large portions. (Enough to share with another adult or a couple of kiddos depending on the spice level).

Must go here!!! This place is movement mixed with lots of fun. How am I this many years old and never been here...phoning a friend now. They use projectors to track movements and display games. This is like being player 1 & 2 in a video game. Didn't need to hit the gym after my visit here. Shootout to Jason the manager, huge help and all around nice guy. Giving this place 5 stars and will be on the lookout for new locations, as there is also 1 in Vegas that is now on my "list". Note of caution --> There are people who bring children and let them run around unsupervised, meaning the kids will monopolize a game and never leave the room. Notice I didn't say parents as that is an active role. Parents will tell the children this is a shared space and we need to give other people time to play given we have all paid to be here. Hint and nudge nudge, don't be the peraon who lets your kids run wild in public. Not judging but judging, iykyk.

Had my 10 year old grandsons birthday party on Saturday and it was the best party ever! I love that the party room is so interactive and they can play games and still be entertained while eating opening presents and having cake. And then still getting another 90 minutes out in the rest of the play area is more than you get it most places. Our hostess Clara was amazing with the kids and was very attentive to the party! Thank you!!! 10 STARS!!

We loved our Thursday evening here. It was quiet (as in, not rowdy) and the service from the staff was so customized and special. The kitchen was about to close but they kept it open for us specifically. The food and drink was good. And the grandkids, ages 10 and 7, had a great time playing the games. The adults who brought them even got into it and played like they were the kids. Everyone on the staff was so pleasant and they took a keen interest in making sure we had everything we needed. The service was extraordinary. Thank you for a great evening of fun.

Downtown Abq is known for its nightlife and history, with plenty of fancy bars and hip dance clubs. It's also famous for its ghost tours, which are quite popular among tourists. Charlie is an amazing guide who will take you on a spooky adventure into the heart of Old Town. This is definitely a must-do tourist attraction if you're in Abq!
Such a fun tour! We’re not typically ghost tour people but during a short stay in Albuquerque with our 12 & 14 year olds, we decided to try it out. Wound up being a perfect way to explore the historic plaza area and get a bit of history. The guide was a great storyteller—engaging, funny, a little bit cheesy, and “family friendly.” Stories were spooky without giving us nightmares, and the paranormal bits were fun, without being too serious—they didn’t try to convince us skeptics that ghosts were totally real, but they shared a good bit of their “research” into the various stories. All of us loved it and my 12 year old son cannot stop talking about it. Highly recommend!

The Casa Flamenca is really a casa and it felt very homey and we were right up there by the performers. Went there with some friends for a Friday night show. A nice stroll to limber up and work up an appetite for some great New Mexican cuisine!

It's awesome that this exists and the scenery is nice but there is little to no trail signage, no way to understand where to eat and shop along this 20 plus mile trail and it just seems like a huge miss. Albuquerque is a nice city and to not have signs to help out of towners it ends up being a huge miss versus what it could be.... It serves as the home ground for the Albuquerque Isotopes, the city's minor league baseball team, and New Mexico United, the state's professional soccer team. The park has over 13,000 seats and offers concession stands along with kid-friendly areas.
Wonderfully designed park with nods to The Simpsons. Comfortable seating, fair ticket prices and if the weather is nice, just an incredible way to spend the evening alone or with friends.

Albuquerque should be proud to have such an outstanding stadium. We have one of the most beautiful stadiums of the minor leagues and most years a pretty decent team. If you have not been to a game this summer you need to come out and support the home team. There is a wide variety of concessions that serve a variety of great food and drink. My only complaint is the pricing for food and drink so be prepared for the expense. Hope you all come out to the Ball game.

First time to attend a game there. My friend had a surprise b'day party for his mom. We were in a suite so that was even better. Place was amazing nice and cool inside the suite. The service was outstanding food was delicious. Upon arrival into the suite. I watched mariachi dancers and a field filled with lowriders from local car clubs. There were many foods and souvenirs for isotopes. After the game finished there was a drone show that was so awesome to see. I recommend this to anyone to see an amazing baseball team and all other fun services that is offered. I'd do it again

Friends is a party on the Patio, an area on the same level as the suites. There was a buffet with burgers, dogs, barbequed pork and soft drinks. There were seats looking out on the field and tables behind those. There was access to a bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks. And there was a Isotopes retro game where the team dressed in Dukes uniforms. And fireworks after the game. It was all great fun.

Not sure I would call this place an attraction but for those who like old stuff from the industrial era of America this may be interesting. This is essentially a working shop where people are busy restoring this old steam locomotive. Some were painting and some removing bolts. They added some information shacks and there are some free train magazines you can have. The locomotive was running a few years ago but some parts broke due to operational ignorance. There is no owner's manual for it. Work is volunteer and money is all donations. A while back some theives broke in and stole a bunch of steel that were actually parts to mount the cab. Set the project back 2 years to custom make new parts and the financing to due it. It was interesting to see the work in progress.

Today, it stands as a lively hub where history intertwines with contemporary life. Visitors can stroll along charming brick pathways lined with over 100 boutiques and galleries showcasing exquisite artwork, ceramics, and fine jewelry.
Such a lovely experience! $10 to park in the lot at the end of the street. If you’re from Canada, I recommend getting a window shade! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We stopped and had a tattoo, we looked in shops. Bought lots of hand made souvenirs.
