Goldy's Breakfast Bistro, located in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho, has been serving up delicious made-to-order breakfast since its opening in 1999. The bistro takes pride in using fresh local ingredients to offer a wide variety of choices for their loyal customers.
Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro is exactly what you hope to find when you’re craving a cozy, delicious brunch spot that hits all the right notes. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh coffee wraps around you like a hug. Let’s start with the mimosa flight—absolutely a must! They were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced—just enough bubbles to kick off a great morning without going overboard. Coffee lovers, rejoice. Goldy’s takes their brew seriously. Whether you’re a straight-up black coffee person or a lavender oat milk latte kind of soul, there’s something for every caffeine craving. Their house blend was rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. Food-wise, everything was fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully delivered. The staff was upbeat and attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe in the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and full of happy energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick solo breakfast or settling in for a long brunch with friends, Goldy’s makes you feel like you’re in the right place. Highly recommend. Goldy’s is golden.

I have been wanting to come to this joint for a long time but with other local joints opening up and my husband's favorite breakfast joint we frequent, coming here was challenging. My friend wanted to meet up for breakfast and asked for some options. I threw out Goldy's and Goldy's was what we both decided on. It's late morning on a Tuesday, I didn't know how busy it was going to be. Walking in, I was greeted and was told my table options. It was nice to be able to get in so quickly. I have heard this joint can have quite the wait time but not today. Little did I know they have an upper dining area, I thought that was pretty cool. I opted for a table on the main floor. I was quite mesmerized by the chandelier with angel wings all over the bulbs. It was a beautiful piece to look at. I got my coffee dropped off right away. My friend and I did breeze over the menu for a while. We were like two chickens clucking trying to catch up. Our server was really patient and gave us a minute to buckle down and decide on what we wanted. For breakfast I got the 3 egg omelet with spinach, asparagus and feta. I passed on the bread and potatoes for fresh fruit. Everything came out hot! My omelet was busting out of the seams with asparagus. It looked hearty! You can see the feta partially melted on top of it. My fruit plate was vibrant! It was beautifully plated with berries, citrus, pineapple and apple slices. The berries were fresh and tart. The strawberry was so sweet. The blueberries were firm and tasty. The orange was fresh but bland. I didn't get to try the grapefruit but it smelled devine. The pineapple was my favorite! I had about half of my omelet! It was massive. I loved how much veggies was in the middle of it. The spinach and asparagus was cooked perfectly! I don't know what it was about the texture of the eggs but I didn't really like it. The eggs were stiff and not really fluffy. It was foamy like. I have had some omelets where the eggs are fluffy but in this case it wasn't like that. It was still good but it's probably something I wouldn't order again. I'm happy I finally got to check out this joint. It's a landmark for Boise and I can see why. It's tiny, vibrant and fun plus it's been around for years. I love the vibe here very much! Our server did a great job taking care of us today. Coffee was hot and the food was fresh. It was a great day to check it out. I finally get to mark Goldy's off my to do list.

Pros & cons: Pros: hosts & servers are super-nice. If they're busy & they usually are, they'll ask if you'd like to wait at Goldy's Corner just a few yards away, you can order coffee & pastries there, & they'll call you when your table's ready. Drip coffee is amazing. They have mango, guava, & other juices. Orange juice tastes fresh-squeezed. Lots of unusual menu items, influenced by Basque culture. Cons: the food, which was reasonably good, took forever, juices were lukewarm, Eggs Benedict's hollandaise was a bit lemony rather than savory, portions (sides) were a little small, grits had zero flavor -- even when you add tons of salt & butter, restrooms (only two stalls upstairs) are cramped, no handicapped stall or ramp.
Carol W — Google review
Worth a trip to visit this fantastic breakfast place! I had the Eggs Benny and a Biscuit with Gravy; my wife had the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The Benedict was divine, with a super fluffy hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached eggs. Biscuit and gravy was really good as well; sausage gravy has a good amount of pepper but is very good. Biscuit was excellent. Pancakes are huge and fluffy! Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is busy and noisy but everybody was having fun, including us.

11JUN2025: I could fly to Boise JUST for this breakfast. My goodness. Stumbled across this place and so glad we did, what a gem! Landed a table on the second deck, and the food was incredible across the board. Mushroom, spinach, ham and bacon omelet, crisp bacon (NEXT LEVEL ON FLAVOR), biscuit, bread, potatoes… this was as good as it gets. Thank you, Jamie, for the 5-star service and thank you Goldy’s Bistro for a breakfast we continue to rave about. One tip: If you do check in and can get a second-floor table against the rail (vice inward), looking below on the other patrons if you are people watcher, could add to the experience.

Despite being rather busy the kitchen and wait staff seemed to feel no sense of urgency. I waited 30 minutes for my dish which would have been completely fine, but nothing on my plate was actually hot which begs the question of why did it take so long if obviously it had been sitting somewhere? As a solo diner sitting at the counter normally these tickets are prioritized because the kitchen can easily get them out of the way, but that doesn't seem to be how they do things here. The dish itself made no sense. It seems like someone was desperately trying to come up with different takes to fill out their different eggs Benedict dishes, so they said how about if we just throw some chicken and bacon in there and use a "spicy" (it was not spicy) hollandaise, that will make it look like we know what we're doing! No, no it does not. You grilled a flavorless, dry chicken and stuck it under a supposedly poached egg which I never actually tasted because the whole thing was drowning in a sloppily made "spicy" hollandaise that was as thick as it was boring. The hash browns were hash browns and they would have been fine if they were actually hot. The only thing good was the coffee. The wait staff was friendly, but unpolished. I had a quarter of my plate left and someone brought me my check unprompted without asking if there was anything else I wanted. Also, the music, what vibe are you actually going for here? If it's chaotic mess, you nailed it.

I had the Andalusian eggs and I would absolutely say it was in the top 10 breakfasts I’ve ever ordered. Fantastic. My husband had a create your own skillet and it was also a win. I would not hesitate to go here again
Sarah S — Google review
I was visiting family and quickly realized why this place has such a good reputation. The staff lead the charge with a level of service more expected from a high end dinner. Every request was handled quickly, and a cup never emptied. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection especially the bacon. I ordered a biscuit with gravy that delighted my palette with every bite. I will definitely return next time I'm in Boise

BACON Boise is a casual bistro that offers a varied bacon menu for breakfast and lunch, including vegetarian options. The restaurant takes its bacon seriously, serving dishes like bacon lasagna, bacon burgers, and offering a sampler of five different types of bacon to pair with a bacon bloody Mary. Additionally, they offer delivery through their downtown 'bacon bike.'
The BEST cinnamon roll ever! It has a fully cooked, yet perfectly moist interior, complimented by maple and bacon. None of the flavors overwhelmed the others, making every bite superb. The cinnamon roll is also large enough to share! Hubby came for the bacon and loved the bacon shots... a flight of each of their bacon flavors. They were all so good that he couldn't pick a favorite! This was a stop for us while traveling cross country and definitely worth it! (edited for spelling)

Bacon Boise - A Bacon Lover’s Paradise! If you haven’t visited Bacon Boise yet, you’re truly missing out. This place is a bacon lover’s dream, and I’m not just talking about regular bacon – their in-house creations are next level. First, let’s talk about the Beignets – they are to die for! Light, fluffy, and warm, dusted with white powdered sugar, and paired with raspberry jelly. I just devoured five pieces without blinking an eye. Seriously, they’re THAT good. 😋 Now, onto the real star of the show: Bacon Shots. This sampler lets you try all of their signature, made-in-house bacon varieties: • Berryhill Bacon: Their traditional bacon, with a slight sweetness that makes it unique and absolutely mouthwatering. • Spicy Hot Bacon: If you love a bit of heat, this is your bacon. The peppery kick lingers on your tongue in the best way possible. • Maple Rosemary Bacon: Sweet, savory, and fragrant, with the perfect balance of maple syrup and rosemary. If you’re a rosemary fan, this one’s for you. • Candied Bacon: Perfectly sweet and addictive. This is definitely a favorite for kids (or anyone with a sweet tooth!). • Pantry Bacon: The rotating special – which has coffee on the bacon. While not my personal favorite, it’s still pretty tasty and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere at Bacon Boise is cozy and welcoming, with large wooden tables for families and intimate high-tops for two. The menu offers a great variety, from starters to hearty breakfast and brunch options. Plus, their patio is perfect for soaking up the sun on a warm day. Service is excellent and I enjoyed the conversation while enjoying the bar seats. If you’re craving bacon – or just a good meal in a fun and friendly setting – Bacon Boise is the place to be! 🥓. You can also purchase your favorite bacon for about $18 a bag to take with you!

First of all.. EMERSON! (I hope I spelled his name correctly) he was above and beyond with his kindness and customer service! We encountered another employee and she was not as kind. Emerson also went out of his way to make sure we were 100% and more happy and satisfied with our whole experience. The food was fantastic and we absolutely will be back! We ordered far more than we could eat so that we could try more! Very delicious! They have bagged bacon as well, my 10 he old son insisted we buy 3!

An amazing experience! The food is unique, service was quick. We had the bacon flight, French toast, Benny Hill, bacon and cheddar scones and beignets! Highly recommend going for the experience and the delicious food!
Sarah W — Google review
Got the “Arizona.” It wasn’t warm. Which is weird for fried chicken and gravy… I asked to trade it for oatmeal (thinking it’s a quick, safe option that’s easy to make hot), but the oatmeal was also cold. The self-serve drip coffee was hot though. So, I’d recommend that instead.
Matthew F — Google review
Soooo good! I got the virgin spicy bloody Mary with they're homemade bacon and it tasted like heaven! Pair that with the Benny Hill Benedict with chipotle hollandaise sauce, perfection. Will definitely be brunching here again.

I sat outside on a perfect Fall afternoon to enjoy me time. The patio is clean and the music is peaceful. The staff was really nice and the food is so good. I got the Boise Basin omelet.

Tapas bar
The Basque Market in Boise offers a delightful experience of Spanish and Basque cuisine. Visitors can indulge in tapas, paella, and bocadillos while also enjoying wine tastings and cooking classes. The market showcases the city's rich Basque immigrant community through its diverse culinary offerings. With over 150 types of Spanish wine, imported olive oils, canned anchovies, peppers, and other pantry items available for purchase, it's a haven for food enthusiasts.
The last visit to Boise, the Market was closed, so we made sure to make our next trip when it was open. So glad we did, service was exceptional, we were seated in the front window, quaint surroundings, it was very nice. We ordered an excellent bottle of wine and some lunch. All was tremendous, loved our visit, just what we expected, the market over delivered with service and delicious food.
G H — Google review
Small grocery and restaurant. Tapas/pinxtos are made to order, unlike in Spain were they are on display and you just point at what you want. I ordered the ham(jamon) croquets, they looked like tater tots but tasted like warm cheese that melted in your mouth. I enjoyed the wine. Maybe best if you a seeking a basque ingredient. I found it kind pricey for what it was.
Trypp A — Google review
This was our last vacation meal before leaving Boise and we purposely toured the Basque museum across the street before coming here and timed it so we would be early (before 11:30am) so we could get a spot on the patio and watch the Paella come together. Wednesday is one of the two days that Paella is made on the patio and there are limited tables outside. He is pictured making 60 servings and you can call in advance to reserve. You have the option to eat there or fill a carry-out container. The patio and restaurant are amazing for their atmosphere. Pictures of the Paella and chef are welcomed and he is super nice with quick wit! I had the Paella and shared tapas with my wife. Everything about our visit, especially the food, was amazing! I highly recommend!!
Stephen A — Google review
This was such good food. The patatas bravas were better than ones we had in Spain. All the dishes we had were perfect in every way. Seasoning, balance of flavor, and presentation. The Gildas and Shepard bread were surprise hits that we will always come back for. Service was excellent and the market atmosphere is cozy and well decorated. This is a gem. Loved it so much. Can't wait to be back in Boise to enjoy more Basque treats.
Jason P — Google review
I cannot say enough about the Basque Market's many charms, from the market of authentic ingredients, to the warm, pet-friendly service, to the glorious food you can eat on-premises, inside and out. I would LIVE here if I could. They have a special "3 for $6" pintxos/tapas (small bites) special going on, as well as paella on Wed. and Fri. My husband and I were blown away by the options, especially my shrimp baguette tapa and the patatas bravas that were so crispy and soft and mildly spiced and addictive. My husband marveled at the buttery, crispy chunk of bread served with his beef meatballs swimming in pepper, tomato sauce. I love Marcona almonds but can't find them anywhere, other than specialty shops far from where we live in Twin Falls, ID. Luckily, this market has them, spiced, and MORE (we went home with a Spanish cheese and chorizo sausage, too). We'll be back, often, to try the other dishes.
Carol W — Google review
This place was so good on every level. They were welcoming of our giant pup which was so nice. The patio is great. The stuffed peppers were amazing! Wine was also excellent and staff was so nice and knowledgeable.

Meat and cheese plate made a delicious and filling lunch while exploring the Basque Block. Almonds and olives paired well with several types of cheese and meats. There was also a large selection of wines as well as cider. Gift shop had many specialty items. My favorite meal in Boise!

The Basque Market is AMAZING! All the food is absolutely DELICIOUS. They also have an awesome and extensive selection of packaged foods, drinks, and as well as gifts. And the ambience is wonderful. It's the most DARLING market ever. Thank you to all of the fabulous employees. I highly recommend the Basque Market!!!

Janjou Pâtisserie is a charming bakery and café known for its exquisite French pastries and desserts. Established in 2008 by head patissiere Moshit Mizrachi-Gabbitas, this contemporary white cafe offers a delightful selection of artisan-baked goods, both sweet and savory.
We are big foodies, and this place was top of my list to check out during our visit to Boise. It did not disappoint. The flavors are punchy, the textures were just right. Really creative combinations as well. Will probably stop here again before we leave because it was that good! Highly recommend. the Malabi brioche bun was a revelation 🤤and the rice pudding croissant was insane.
Hanna — Google review
The pastries were definitely worth the wait. Had to wait outside until line was moving but it wasn’t too long of a wait. The selection was very good. Only reason why it’s a 4 star is their selection in what they serve the coffee in as it was difficult to hold due to it being hot. Overall the experience was great and the pastries tasted out of this world good. Will most definitely make a second trip to this place.
Erik L — Google review
As someone who hunts down the best pastries and sweet treats in every city they visit, Janjou was at the top of my list when visiting Boise. The texture of the laminate pastry was exceptional and each item they craft looks almost too good to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find the coffee also exceeded my expectations; dialed to perfection and with expert level microfoam. I will be dreaming about this place and eager to return when I get the chance!
Kiera L — Google review
Wow...passing through Boise and stumbled into Janjou Patisserie.....had the lemon croissant and a latte..... the pastry rivals the best I've had in Paris!! If you come you have to say hello to Coco and Maple, the stores 2 chihuahuas.
Marcus A — Google review
Sure it’s not Paris or Nice, but it’s pretty close! Espresso drinks are deliciously divine… servi à la parisienne (bien sûr). The staff is always lovely - friendly and welcoming. A busy little place to be sure… so expect a line, especially on weekends. The worst part? Trying to decide on what to enjoy. It’s almost impossible to leave with just one selection. Luckily, they’ve boxes to accommodate any number of delicacies for enjoyment later whether sharing with friends or simply for yourself.

Very good desserts. Had the hazelnut croissant and tasted exactly like a hazelnut. The croissant itself was very flavorful and had many crispy layers that added to the texture. My sister and grandpa both had the mocha and they liked it a lot as well saying it was the best mocha they had

I usually don’t write review, but this time I just had to. We stopped here for a quick pastry/ lunch grab on our road trip and little cakes looked so good we grabbed some of those too. Cakes were phenomenal. Tropical passion fruit flavor just blew our mind. It was sweet and tart at the same time, but not overwhelming. We just kept says ow wow all the time. It was so good that we actually was thinking to turn around and get some more. Couple hours later we had some savory items we got. Lorraine Brioche is when I’ve decided this place deserve all the amazing reviews in a world. My boyfriend and I loved it cold. Literally all other 3 pastries sweet and savory was gone in a minute. We just couldn’t stop. It was baked to perfection. All of them. Kinda thinking to make trip to Boise again just to go here. Warning, there was a line at the door, but it’s totally worth it.

Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery in Boise is a unique dining destination located on the historic Basque Block. Housed in a former warehouse, the spacious brick venue offers a blend of Northwest cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. The menu features an array of delectable dishes such as charbroiled salmon fillet with sun-dried tomato butter, New York steak with blue cheese butter, and inventive cocktails like the cantaloupe cooler made with Bardenay vodka.
I managed to grab a few pictures of the place during a slower hours. Outdoors and indoors seating, seat yourself, I never waited in line. During a business trip I found myself returning many times because all the food I tried had unique variety of flavors. And there is just about a price range and a flavor pallet for everyone here I feel. If you drink, they have large selection on tap and a bunch of specialties. I posted those specialties in the pictures. If I couldn’t make up my mind for a place to eat, I just showed up here in downtown Boise. From soups, to steaks, to fish, to wanting a full meal to wanting a lighter snack, they had something. And it all tasted unique to me. Servers were all pretty kind and fun to talk to as well. This will become a stop for me next time I pass through Boise.

Great American food. The steak salad I ordered is healthy and delicious. Service is wonderful. The place is packed with people including many kids, people here are very friendly. Expect to wait a little bit to get food after order is placed. Overall a good and affordable place for Boise local food
David C — Google review
I went to Bardenay for a lateish lunch. it was self seating. Me and my parents sat down and waited a bit for the server to bring us some water and an extra set of silverware. The food was well prepared but I found underseasoned. This might just be local taste? but I wasn't very impressed. The beer was fine, but the mocktail was good!
Peter G — Google review
Very good food! Went during the basque festival, so very busy, but they still managed to have a seat for two of us rather quickly. The food was fantastic, especially given our entrée was fish, which this far inland is hard to find good fish/seafood of any kind. The service was fast and helpful as well. Highly recommend the sea bass gnocchi or one of the trout dishes. We also had the greek fried idaho cheese, which was to die for. Had no room for dessert by the end, so we will be back to try that next time. The only downside is that it is a very open setting, so kinda hard to hear sometimes when it is busy. Still recommend for a date, get together, or any other occasion!

The food and service were good. I recommend the burger. Beers were great. The only thing I didn't like was the Ahi seared tuna, which I think was cooked too long Otherwise, it's in a great location.

Super sad I hear this place was amazing. What was amazing: 1. Blue cheese stuffed gin martini = perfection What was not amazing: The food, listen maybe it was an off night but ordered a steak, nothing about the order was right and Med rare = well done worth the price? No To be fair the fries were chefs miss but if you screw up fries I would be more worried. Probably a skip for me next time

Our first visit was very pleasant. We were seated on the patio facing the street which was blocked off for a Basque food and entertainment celebration. I ordered the sea bass with gnocchi and my wife ordered the chicken pesto with gnocchi, both were very good. The service was a bit slow, but to be fair, they were very busy and there was a lot going on in general. I would definitely recommend Bardenay's and would return again and again.

Sooo good! Stopped in town for a good dinner on our road trip and wow, this place was magnificent. The atmosphere, quickness of service, friendliness of servers, taste of food and selection of drink was great. Would definitely come back!

Moon's Kitchen Cafe is a beloved, classic diner in Boise that has been serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes since 1955. Owned by Gary and Shelly Torrey, this welcoming spot offers home-style American cuisine made from scratch using the finest local ingredients. The menu features a wide array of savory and sweet options, including omelets, benedicts, pancakes, and their famous milkshakes.
A must visit breakfast gem! Moons is hands-down my new favorite breakfast spot in the city. Locally owned and full of charm, this place gets everything right—from the warm atmosphere to the incredible food and unbeatable service. Our server, Jeffrey, was exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu—he made our experience even more memorable. The food? Out of this world. Their gluten-free options are some of the best I’ve ever had—especially the pancakes and toast, which were fluffy and flavorful without compromise. The house-made hollandaise sauce is a standout: rich, silky, and perfectly balanced. And the breakfast potatoes? Crispy perfection. To top it all off, the city views from the dining area make every bite feel like a little celebration. Whether you're gluten-free or just love a great breakfast, Moons is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Great place, wonderful service, amazing food! I'm gluten free and I got three whole slices of French toast - simply amazing. So tasty. Didn't get sick. Lovely staff. Loved the location. Loved listening to the other staff interact with customers.

A truly special and amazing place. Our breakfast was epic and the staff was “on it” all the time. Great service, great food great story. When in Boise you have to eat here at least once!

Decent food in a clean environment. It was fairly noisy when we were there. The French toast was good. The breakfast menu is large - lots of Benedicts and pancakes. Prices are on the higher side for a fairly standard breakfast.

I'm not an Idaho native, but I've been to every corner of the state multiple times. I'm rarely impressed with the food as salt is too spicy for most people here. This place keeps me coming back, the food quality, taste and consistency is perfect nearly every time. Kudos, to the staff and Chef.

Moons is always the go to breakfast spot in Boise, nothing beats it. Our go to’s are the chorizo omelette and chicken omelette. Moon babies are amazing if you’re feeling for a sweet breakfast.

It was a busy still early Saturday brunch. I sat at the bar and kudos to Adriana for being the nicest and most efficient waitress I have known. The boise eggs benedict were generous and delicious and I tried a half portion of their celebrated beignets. They were light, fluffy and as good as those at Cafe du Monde!

You 100% have to go here! The food here is exceptional and so is the service. Everything here is a must try! The beignets are the best i’ve had and the salmon eggs benedict was just as good! Freshly squeezed orange juice too!

Red Feather Lounge is an upscale establishment offering seasonal American comfort food and craft cocktails in a chic, modern setting. The lounge stands out for its creative cocktail list featuring unique spirits and inventive twists like hibiscus rosehip syrup and truffle garnishes. Visitors can enjoy the 'low power happy hour' on weekdays from 3 to 5:30 pm, with discounted local beer and wine by candlelight.
This place is a must-visit if you’re after top-quality food. The menu features fresh, flavorful dishes that truly stand out. The beer selection is excellent, but it’s the food that really steals the show. From the first bite to the last, everything is expertly prepared and delicious. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff only add to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who values great food!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like it was necessary here. Cocktails were decent. The food was ROUGH. We go out a few times a week, and just have not had that bad of food for a very long time. The worst part was we asked if the bread was moldy, and they took it back to look at it, then said they were pretty sure it wasn’t, but just in case to eat around it ????!(the moldy/fuzzy part), and still charged us! I was super nice about it but holy cow. Then we tried the mushroom soup, which, for mushroom people… it was a gray thick glob of sadness :,(. Just avoid .

We caught a weekend brunch here, and we are so glad we went. We had limited days in town, and my wife had this as her #1 researched brunch place pre-trip. Fiona was our bartender, and we were her first bar customers. She greeted us with high energy, and her service was spotless for our visit. The food and drink ended up being fantastic too, but she really put the exclamation point on our visit overall. I kept it simple with beer, but my wife had two excellent cocktails while there. I admittedly neglected to write down the exact name of them, but my notes say they were a lavender tea drink and an herby Cosmopolitan. Just ask Fiona or whoever is behind the bar when you go. They will lead you the correct way. Picture of one is below. Anyway, I had the short rib hash and the wife had the eggs in purgatory, and both were incredible. The atmosphere was really unique. It was a cool brunch or nice any-meal place, but you could also tell it might get pretty fun at night. The wine cellar was so cool, and we asked to go check it out. Really cool area. Food, drink, and service were easily five star. We loved our experience here, I would highly recommend you checking it out, and see you there (the next time we are in Boise)...

I stopped at Red Feather to get a quick bite to go. I was a little confused about the dual restaurant thing, half of the building is Red Feather and the other half is Bitterhouse and depending on where you sit dictates which menu. It would be helpful to have a menu for both posted outside the restaurant so the person can see the two options. It’s seat yourself which I imagine is hard on the servers if they don’t see you come in, I sat for a while before someone noticed me. I ordered the meatballs to go. They were pretty good, I would’ve loved some spiciness to them. There were other things on the menu I wanted to try, good amount of non alcoholic drinks too.
Mandy B — Google review
We came in as a party of three at 11:05 AM on a Saturday. We were seated at a beautiful outdoor table with an ice heater. We got our drinks at 1145. The coffee I ordered on top of the drink never came. I had asked for it again. We ordered our food at 11:45 1230 rolled around and still no food and no second round of drinks so we left.

This was our first time here-we came for my birthday and the service we received from Emma was outstanding. She checked on us-got us happy hour drinks and reminded us when it ended if we wanted to put another order in :) she checked on us after we got our fantastic food-it was a great experience. The service from Emma is why we will be back! The food and drinks were great but we are always looking for great service and we got that here! We will be back!

Enjoyed a great brunch today! First time at Red Feather and glad I finally made a point to try it. Service was friendly and fast and the restaurant has a cozy vibe even though it is two stories and quite roomy. I had eggs Benedict and a waffle both of which were tasty. Lots of great and yummy choices on the menu. My husband had one of the skillet scrambles and our friend had chicken and biscuits which also tasted great.

Fantastic customer service. I was part of a large group and they were very friendly and accommodating. They had a great cocktail menu. The food menu was interesting and had a wide variety but execution wasn't 5 star, still good. I had a caesar salad, but couldn't really taste much dressing. I also had a pasta dish. The pasta was very oily, but the flavor was good.

The Griddle is a local chain of casual daytime diners that serves exceptional breakfasts and other hearty homestyle dishes. It is located in Boise, a city I frequently visit as I grew up here but currently live on the east coast. Every time I have been to this restaurant, there has always been a server named Jeffrey (I believe that's his name) who provides excellent service. He is funny, enthusiastic, and full of positive energy.
Our first breakfast visit to the Griddle. Waitress was friendly and recommended the chicken fried steak and eggs. And it was the real deal. Large, plate size steak with ample amount of cream gravy, hashbrowns and toast. Coffee was good too and she refilled our cups often. And now I know why they have a wait list. Highly recommended

Best breakfast spot in the valley. Wild West Scramble with an extra egg and protein is amazing. Toast is good quality, coffee is good, and Mo's hashbrown upgrade is a must!

The restaurant has a cute diner vibe. Outside patio seating was nice with some shade. Servers were nice. I thought the food was ok.

Great service and excellent menu options. It's busier in the morning than you'd think, so plan on a bit of extra time. We've been coming here for years at both locations and it never disappoints. It's a favorite for family coming to town, work-based breakfasts, and when foreign coworkers are looking for a hearty breakfast.

TBH, I came to this location years ago. 😋 And, while I didn't care for the hollandaise sauce. 🧐 I realized maybe it's just other things on the menu that will redeem this restaurant. 🤔 Well, so far the wild west scramble, quiche Lorrain, and Mo's potatoes have made this place a gem. 💎 I like the eggs Benedict better at the Fork or Red Feather (problem: it's only available on the weekends). 🗓️ But, if you're nearby and love a good scramble with meat and veggies, this one is it. 🍳 Then upgrade your side potatoes to mo's; it'll add meat, veggies, and cheese to the hashbrowns. 🧀 It's delicious. 💯 Don't forget the freshly squeezed OJ!!! So give this place a try. 👍 Oh, and the homemade jam, is a great touch too! 💯

I recommend this place 10/10! From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly. Jamie made us feel right at home. It was our first time there -we are new to Idaho- and she shared her favorite dishes because I was so indecisive. The almond crusted French toast was excellent! I ordered a side of bacon, also amazing! She made me a special Cappuccino when I shared that I wish the coffee was a little stronger- I like my coffee bold and robust- overall a great experience!

I had a friend that was having cataract surgery nearby and I came here while I waited for him. I've been to The Griddle in Eagle, but this is my first time here. First off, Gracie was my server and she was great. She was nice, attentive, and checked back on my several times. I ordered the California omelet with pepper jack cheese instead of feta, rye bread, and hashbrowns. Even with their salsa on my omelet, I did not find it all that flavorful and had to put a fair amount of salt to get some pop. I didn't get any heat of the pepper jack. The hashbrowns were not crispy, but more like potatoes with a little brown on them. The rye toast was fine. Their coffee is what you find in many diners, weak. So, to sum it up, great service and average food with the usual Griddle ambiance.

Waffle Me Up is a charming breakfast and lunch spot in Boise, Idaho that has been serving up delicious sweet and savory waffles since 2012. What started as a small operation with just one table and a household waffle iron at local farmers markets has now expanded to include a certified food cart, food trailer, and their own waffle shop. The liege-style waffles are freshly made to order and have garnered high praise from visitors.
Waffle Me Up is an interesting food and coffee shop with all food related to the waffle topic, the idea is creative and the food is fun and delicious. Whether you are a big fan of waffles, you can always find something you enjoy here. The shop shares the dinning area with Boise Fried Company, it’s has a stylish, cozy and artistic vibe inside, but can be noisy sometimes. It’s noticeable that the prices have risen up for the food and deserts here, so the prices on the menu photos are not accurate, whether it’s worth the new price is up to your budget.
Joey Z — Google review
Waffle Me Up specializes in Liège waffles named after the Belgian city in which they were invented. They differ from the classic Belgian waffles because of the heavier yeast-risen brioche batter. But unlike that part of Belgium, this Idaho version is most certainly not eaten plain. And the toppings are remarkably diverse and clever. In a very popular and vibrant store, boisterous crowds enjoy these freshly made waffles with custom ordered toppings. I personally like a good waffle with melted butter and copious amounts of powdered sugar. Unfortunately, cookie butter was the only alternative. And while delicious, it was closer to cold, uncooked batter than the melty goodness I prefer. And their version of a double dose of powdered sugar was what I would call a half dose at home. But it was still a delicious waffle, nonetheless. It's too bad there isn't a station to control your own butter and sugar quantities. But customers would probably abuse that. The waffle itself wasn't quite as good as my expectations after reading the sign's impressive description. But this is an excellent place for breakfast or brunch.

This was our first time coming to Waffle Me Up. Legit amazing! I have a severe banana allergy, and the owner, Hector, took absolute amazing measures to make sure the place was extra clean and disinfected before making our food! That right there is enough reason for me to want to come back again and again! The coffee was super hot, just like I like it! The food was incredibly delicious! And the service was exceptional. Overall, it was a great experience. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you definitely should the next time you’re downtown Boise!

Perfect breakfast/brunch spot. You can taste the passion in the food and see it in the owner. We got the original, the bobacado deluxe and the peanut butter & currant waffles. It was a struggle to pick a favorite, they were all amazing. Definitely going to make this a regular stop when in Boise.

Nestled in Boise, The Egg Factory has been a beloved family-owned gem since 2008, serving up hearty American breakfast and lunch dishes. With two locations in Boise and an additional spot in Nampa, this local chain is renowned for its commitment to using fresh ingredients to create made-from-scratch meals.
We have breakfast at the Egg Factory at least twice a month and bring almost the whole family. Food is great and the portions are big, plus the staff are fantastic. The only drawbacks are they close at 3 P.M. and you may have to wait a bit to get a table. They are very popular and well worth the possible wait.

This place was pretty good. Had a big yummy breakfast. Water could be better tasting. Seemed a bit short staffed but its well known its short staffed everywhere right now. Waitress was very nice. Wish there was mimosas served. Overall the crepes were delicious. I was tempted to ask if they sold a mason jar of their jam so yummy and tasted home made! Def recommend if your wanting a yummy filling breakfast. No adult breakfast drinks but the food makes up for it!

Lexi was a friendly, warm & delightful server. She helped us through the menu and was pleasant and professional the entire time. The restaurant itself appeared kind of dated and could use with a decor and paint touch up. But it seemed clean to us and the food was fantastic. Everything was the perfect temperature, good portions and great flavor. I had the taco omelette with perfectly seasoned ground beef and just the right amount of salsa and sour cream without being overwhelming. Coffee was a bit weak but they had a nice selection of flavored creamers. Hash browns were expertly cooked and the biscuit was the best I've had yet in Boise. Served with butter and strawberry jam, I could eat a plate of those alone! Buckwheat pancakes did not disappoint especially with our addition of chocolate chips and strawberries. Steak, mushroom and cheese omelette was a bit on the bland side and needed seasoning. All-in-all it was a good experience and we would return again or perhaps try their State Street location but then we would miss seeing Lexi again!

Before I start, I'd like to state that I've been to this Brunch-style Diner three times. So, I believe it's time to give my two cents. My first visit was with a bunch of friends during "high traffic" hours. Thus, the service was bound to be slow. But, the next two visits with my brother resulted in a fast and amazing service during "low traffic" hours. Our waitress was spectacular and had THE BEST sense of humor I've ever experienced. I tend to drink my coffee faster than the average client which would result in waiting for a refill, but that was not a problem at all in this restaurant. My brother and I ended up ordering a lot of food, though we still indulged in the Cinnamon Roll which, by the way, had the perfect balance of frosting! This will definitely be my "go to" for not only breakfast, but any time I'm craving a delicious omelette.
Gregie J — Google review
The service was fast and friendly, is an American style dinner. I had the special that was a sausage omelet with cheese, hashbrowns and biscuit and gravy. The omelette and hashbrowns quite average in flavor, not bad, not incredible either. Now the bisquet and gravy was delicious, creamy and flavorful. Laid back atmosphere and good prices, busy crowds for breakfast.

So, Boise still impresses me with wonderful home cooked meals. If you get a chance enjoy a small or large meal here. Prices very good for the portions, taste is dynamite. The chicken fried steak had such wonderful breading and was cooked just right. Their gravy compliments it quite well. A bit of pepper and salt and yowza what a great brunch (as they are breakfast and lunch hours)

Chandlers Prime Steaks & Fine Seafood is an upscale dining spot in downtown Boise's Hotel 43, founded by renowned restaurateur Rex Chandler. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated ambiance with live jazz and a chic martini bar. Specializing in top-quality seafood flown in from Hawaii and Alaska, as well as prime steaks and locally sourced fresh ingredients, the menu offers a variety of exquisite dishes crafted by Executive Chef Luis Flores.
An exceptional meal! Service was superb. The only reason I gave it a 4 for atmosphere was that we had to eat at the bar at a high top table (not their fault, already fully booked due to no availability). It has been a loooong while since I’ve had a great abalone and theirs was super delicious and fresh! A SURPRISE was the Wagyu steak produced in Idaho! Supremely delicious and amazingly well marbled. True Wagyu! From Idaho???? 😊 This is a definite revisit if I ever come to Boise again. A very well stocked wine list/cellar. Very accommodating for dietary restrictions (reasonable).

I hate giving this place a 3 star review, but: My wife and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. The atmosphere and service here is fantastic. Everyone is super polite. The food we got was: The Black Orchid - tuna with sesame seeds. It was 6-7 slices of good quality tuna with a nice sauce. This was good, but we both agreed it wasn't worth the price tag. 10oz filet mignon - ordered medium rare and came out as such. Very tender and well seasoned. The veggies that came with it were quite good as well. 16oz Ribeye - ordered medium and it came out less than rare; I would almost consider it blue. The manager stopped by to check on us and I showed her the steak and she immediately took it back to get fully cooked. The second time around it came out medium, but was obviously chewier than it should have been since it was cooked, sat for 15 minutes, and was then recooked. It's very disappointing to pay $70+ for a steak that isn't cooked correctly and ends up chewy. Chocolate soufflé - tasty, well cooked, with a nice Grand Marnier cream. We spent over $300 here and I left disappointed.

I've eaten at all of the top 50 steakhouses in the United States. And when you run the numbers, Chandlers ranks a staggering fifth best! We were recently in Boise and revisited this delicious upscale eatery. While I'd realistically rank Chandlers down around 25th (in my personal opinion), that doesn't prevent it from being a fabulous steakhouse! It's a very good place to have dinner in Boise. The steaks are incredibly tender and professionally prepared. Chandlers even offers American Wagyu from the famed Snake River Farms and imported Japanese Wagyu. The lobster bisque and scallops were both very good but better exists. However, the complimentary bread service is spectacular, as is the olive tapenade butter that accompanies the bread.

Nick is the man! Go see my man Nick! He's a wonderful waiter and super personable. An expert at his craft. Ask for Nick because he will take great care of you. Also... the food rocks! The lobster bisque soup is wonderful! Crab cakes are mostly meat rather than mostly bread. The Ahi tuna kicks butt! The shrimp scampi pasta is wild delicious!!! The veal is Devine! The deserts... amazing! Go here... now! Worth the $$$. A total experience that you will remember for years to come.

Great spot in Boise for special occasions. The smoked ribeye is the best steak my wife has ever eaten. The A5 wagyu was worth every penny. The cocktails and mocktails are delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I can't recommend this place enough for an anniversary or birthday to make it a memorable experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with the steak menu on a previous visit, so I decided to bring my mom for a special treat. While the service and atmosphere remained excellent, the food quality this time was disappointing. We ordered the bouillabaisse, duck two ways, sautéed fresh morel mushrooms, and gratin potatoes. The gratin potatoes were well-prepared, with a crunchy golden crust and a rich, buttery interior. The duck two ways was also nicely executed—the confit leg had crispy skin and flavorful meat, complementing the tender breast cooked to a perfect medium. The wine reduction and cabbage slaw added a pleasant touch of sweetness and tang. Unfortunately, the morel mushrooms were overly salted, which masked their natural flavor. The biggest letdown, however, was the bouillabaisse. From the first taste, the broth had an off-putting, almost sour smell. We quickly discovered that two of the mussels were spoiled and had to spit them out. When we informed the manager, she mentioned the mussels had been delivered the day before and that “this batch may have a stronger taste.” This explanation was not reassuring, as the mussels were clearly bad. Still, we chose not to escalate the issue and politely said we couldn’t finish the dish. To their credit, the bouillabaisse was removed from our bill. Unfortunately, I experienced a severe bout of diarrhea that night, followed by a rash that lasted nearly a week. In my opinion, Chandlers excels with its steak offerings, but seafood and mushroom dishes seem to be more hit or miss. I also wish the management had handled the situation with more professionalism and concern.

My daughter and I tried Big City for the first time last weekend. We stood in line for about 10 minutes, which gave us time to look at the pastries, review the menu, and watch as plate after plate was being delivered to tables. I had a half-order of biscuits & gravy, my daughter had the chicken tamale breakfast with eggs, potatoes and one chicken tamale. We also ordered the pumpkin chai muffin and back the blue scone. Luckily we found a table, because it was packed. The restaurant has great ambiance, and cafe feel. Decorations and items for sale were around the cafe. Our waiter brought us our plates and it looked amazing! I started eating the top portion of the biscuits and gravy, which was delicious. As I dug deeper, I found a layer of chopped bacon on top of more biscuits. The bottom biscuit was hard as a rock. I bouncing my fork off it, and was not able to eat any more. While waiting for our amazing waiter to come back and check on us, I began helping my daughter eat her breakfast. By the way, each plate could easily feed 4 people. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The streamed eggs were light and fluffy. The masa was delicious, but the chicken was diced and had no individual flavor. Once our waiter came back and began clearing the table next to us, I asked him to take my plate and explained that the biscuits were hard. He politely asked if this was my first time there, because they do cook them longer. I admitted it was my first time there. He asked several times if he could bring me anything else like bacon and eggs. I thanked him for the offer, but decided to share my daughter's plate. I will be back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to try it.

I absolutely adore this coffee shop! The atmosphere is super cute (I'm gonna say it... it has a Sacramento vibe, but I love it, and no, I'm not a CA native 😜), and it has a great menu (coming from a vegetarian who's used to limited options). The portions are INSANE - I went in today and ordered a cup of soup and a sandwich, and I was blown away when enough food for 3 people appeared in front of me! The cornbread was phenomenal, and a great compliment to the ginger and carrot soup (I dumped a chunk of it in there, honestly, it made the soup). The veggie sandwich was exactly what I was looking for (and I'm excited about all the leftovers!). I always get the obligatory baked good (a back the blue scone today) and a coffee (IBC). Amazing as always, and great service.

It's really great food, and worth going. My only issue is that you need to order at the counter and then get lucky enough to find a seat. If you go by yourself, you're not going to have luck, because while you're standing in line everyone else will have snatched up a table. Go with a group or go super early. The cinnamon roll is fabulous, though rich. All the scones are the side of your head, and look divine. I got the berry waffle, which was perfection. Highly recommend going. Just have a backup plan, because of the seating issues.

This place is a really cool gem in downtown Boise! The vibes are homey, they have lots of good menu options for dine in eating as well as a bakery case filled with goodies. They also feature small gifts and trinkets for sale and they were all really cool! I grabbed a bakery treat and a caramel mocha to start out with, my friend ordered their matcha and we both liked our drinks pretty well! Then we had breakfast and ordered the loaded potatoes (we added feta and Avacado and some corn tortillas on the side - highly recommend!) and it was a huge portion! We shared with leftovers to spare! It’s set up as communal dining, with nice seating and tables and real dishes! We loved it and will absolutely return!

Soooooooooo delicious! 10/10 we will definitely be back again. The biscuits and gravy is HUGE so bring your appetite, we didn't order the burrito but they are bigger around than my arm! You come in and wait in line to order, grab a menu up towards the register on a pole so you can look over the menu. Seating is first come first served so try to grab a seat when they are available. Also the baked goods are all amazing!!!

Rosie’s Biscuits & Gravy - homemade biscuits and country gravy topped with bacon and made with lots of love (menu description) 🍳 🥓🧀🍓🍊☕️🍽 The BBC - toasted everything bagel stacked with egg, bacon and cheese served with fresh fruit on the side 🥯🍳 🥓🧀🍊☕️🍽 The sandwich was delicious, how they made the eggs so firm yet moist impressed me. The bagel was very well seasoned and toasted just right. With a side of their famous coffee, this was an excellent breakfast. And it came out super quick! The sandwich was so huge (for only $7) I had to take the other half home. They also have a deluxe version with ham and you can add cream cheese! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ First thing I noticed when I walked into the restaurant was how popular it was. That, and the fact I heard a lot about the place, told me I wouldn’t regret coming here for late breakfast Saturday morning. First of all the biscuit was HUGE. It was stuffed with so much bacon chunks, and the gravy was perfectly creamy and delicious. I would suggest ordering an extra side of gravy because of how big the biscuit is. Amazingly, it saved well too. I couldn’t even finish the HALF ORDER I got. I would definitely go back just for this dish again!

Stopped in for lunch with a large group of work buddies. I had been here before and ordered breakfast that was very delicious. Coffe was good too! I decided to order the turkey gobbler sandwich this time. Wow! It was scrumptious and the portions were huge. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meal as well. I took photographs of several of the items of food my group ordered that I will attach to this review. A+ for plating! All the food looked beautiful and was served on cool dishes. Love the atmosphere of this little place. They were packed with customers and they still got our food out in a timely matter. We will definitely be back! Great spot to hit in Boise!

Tango's Empanadas in Boise is a beloved local spot known for its authentic Argentinean empanadas and sub sandwiches. With two locations, this family-owned gem offers an array of flavorful and perfectly flaky empanadas at affordable prices. The owner, originally from Buenos Aires, brings a taste of Argentina to Idaho with these half-moon-shaped pastries filled with various options like cheese, meat, veggies, or dessert fillings.
Seriously the best empanadas! The crust is so buttery and yummy and the fillings are flavorful. I need to try more flavors, but recently I tried the Gaucho and the cheeseburger. Both were great, gaucho was my favorite!

We tried several different kinds of empanadas, including a desert item. All where very good. Prices were very good. Deep fried but not greasy at all. A few tables inside. Looks like they do a big take out business. Wish we had this place in my town.
Scott B — Google review
Tango's is a critically acclaimed wonder of culinary delight, and we had to stop in for a snack as we made our way through Boise for the last leg of our road trip. We had heard nothing but good about the food and the service, hailed by many as the best empenadas north of the border. We were not disappointed. Staff were polite and helpful, and the space was small but comfortable. The empenadas themselves were absolutely perfect, in texture, flavor, and consistency. I particulary enjoyed the "Rancho", a bean and pork masterpiece. We savored every single bite, so much so that we had to pick up a a few to take with us before we left. You would be remiss to miss an opportunity to stop by Tango's, should you get a chance!

Always great food. It was better when the owners were there every day but I understand with the new spot in Meridian it’s not possible. The workers there literally locked us in at the end of the night to to prevent others from entering which is fine but one of the patrons got freaked out that they were locking us in. I wasn’t worried about it though but I could see their point. These kids just wanted to go home. Not like the world class service we used to get when the owners were on site

Oh my God! 5/5 all the way!!!!! I ordered 6 of these absolutely amazing, heavily pastries and it was not enough to fulfill my hunger because they were so good. My first impression was that I couldn’t believe damn big that menu is. Seriously. You’re gonna have a fun time if you didn’t study beforehand because I did and I was still floored over how indecisive I was! After staring at the menu for what seemed like forever I finally picked two beef empanadas ($3.75-$4.00), Gaucho (Argentina original. Ground beef, eggs, olives, onions, bell peppers and spices) and Saltena (from Salta, Argentina. Ground beef, onion, eggs and potatoes). Of the two, the Gaucho was the one for me. It was full of flavor, super stuffed and piping hot! Saltena is great as well, tasted like taco seasoning but authentic. From the chicken menu I picked the Gardel (chicken in light marinara sauce, $3.75). Super good! The chicken was tender and juicy. Whatever spices were thrown in there created a fantastic taste. For our pork option, I chose the Rancho (house made refried beans, in-house Mexican chorizo, cheddar cheese and jalapenos, $3.75). Whew, this was a spicy one. They don’t tread lightly on the jalapenos, FYI. This empanada was exquisite, my favorite out off all the savory choices. Of course, I couldn’t dare skip out on the dessert empanadas. The Chocolate (dulce de leche, creame cheese and chocolate chips) and La Nona (dulce de leche and bananas) are out of this damn world!!! Extremely sweet, I’ve been dreaming about these since I tried them. Tango’s is such a blessing to Boise! I cannot wait to go back so so soon!!
Amanda — Google review
So SO good, just wish we would’ve tried it sooner! Their empanadas are not greasy at all which is the best part. The La Boca one was our favorite, will definitely be back. If you’re thinking about coming here just do it, you won’t regret it

Smal quaint spot on orchard . Fairly steady parking was difficult the lot needs repairs . We ordered the BBQ,lengucia, chimicarne Chilli con Carne with sour cream, and a la plata dessert empenada. The chimi was a staff pick was very wet and the dough was soggy on the bottom kinda sad because the meat was very tender. Yet bland and oily The BBQ was very good could have used a stronger BBQ flavor but the empenada held up and the meat again was perfectly cooked. The lenguica lacked a sauce and when it cooked all the ingredients went to one side so half had nothing in it . And had bout 7 small slices of lengica total . The Chilli was so blend all you tasted was sour cream but the pocket held up to the challenge . My fave was the la Plata it was a strawberry and cream not super sweet so perfect for me and dusted with powdered sugar . That one was the winner for me. Will go back to try some of their authentic flavors but so far the savory ones were bland . As for the prices they are perfectly priced so you can try more than one and not break the bank. And portions were great when sharing to get the experiance .

To be honest I didn't love it. I prefer baked empanadas over the deep fried. The service was good. I really liked the cordoba but the Chinese were just ok. My wife & daughter didn't really care for their empanadas. My son enjoyed his. It was pretty busy so we sat outside but the wind blew my food into my lap which was a bummer.

Elmer's Kitchen in Boise, ID is a cozy diner-style restaurant that offers generous portions of classic breakfast dishes and comforting comfort food. Whether you're craving fluffy pancakes or hearty omelets, this spot provides the perfect homey atmosphere for a satisfying meal. Visitors praise the friendly service and efficient staff, making it an ideal place to enjoy a delicious meal after attending local events like the Boise Balloon Festival.
Just like Georgia down below, we had Jordie, she was an amazing server and never let us down, she would always have all of our food and sauces delivered immediately. The food shown below was incredible and the pancakes especially, they were fluffy and similar to clouds. Jordie was a very energetic person and needs a raise. The coffee was also great, but it was buttery as my brother’s proclaimed. The bathrooms are very small though. Anyway 5 stars for an amazing meal and a great experience!😃

I’m very surprised and impressed by Elmer’s Kitchen that a brunch diner could be in such a good form. The inside vibe is “luxury” for a diner, very tidy, clean, cozy and stylish. The service is attentive and welcoming. I went there at late lunch time so it was not very packed with people, but I heard it could be very busy for breakfast. The only thing that I think they can improve is the price, it’s about 15-20% more expensive than other brunch diners in this area.
Joey Z — Google review
Breakfast was disappointing. The biscuits were overcooked, the hashbrowns bland with no seasoning, and the eggs Benedict were overdone. The country fried steak and gravy was just not a dish I would highlight—if that’s the best you’ve got, it needs serious improvement. Overall, the food lacked flavor, which is concerning since these are signature breakfast dishes that should always be consistent and on point. Service was also weak—servers were clearly stretched too thin, and I only received one coffee refill during the entire meal.

Capitol Cellars Restaurant is an upscale dining spot located in the historic Belgravia building, offering locally sourced American dishes and a remarkable selection of wines. The restaurant also features patio seating for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the Boise metro area of Garden City where Capitol Cellars is situated boasts two urban wineries, Telaya Wine Co and 3100 Cellars.
Tried tonight for the first time and they did not disappoint! Everything was well prepared and delicious. Try the halloumi fries, a way more decadent option than the stand by mozzarella sticks normally found on appetizer menus. The French onion soup was great, my fave type of soup that I always try when I see it on a restaurant menu. New York strip steak was juicy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Husband had the Post pork which was very good as well. The creme brulee was a great treat to wrap up the meal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Will definitely be back.

While we have had fantastic meals at Capitol Cellars, I wanted to bring to your attention first before posting a public review the quality of Christmas Dinner. We ordered dinner for 4 and picked up the meal at 3pm Christmas Eve. I was very excited to have this meal as the prime rib I’ve had before at Capitol Cellars was delicious. This was not the case this time, as the Prime Rib slices were full of gristle and the flavor was off. The potatoes were not cooked all the way, completely raw on the bottom and I had to add cheese to it for more flavor. The winter vegetables were flavorless and the yellow sauce on it was butter???? Not sure, flavorless. The salad had a lot of brown pieces in it and there was a hair in with the rolls. The soup was delicious, as was the cheesecake. For spending $236 + $50 dollar cash tip for the staff, this was disappointing and almost inedible. Just figured someone might want to know as I see your doing the same thing for a NYE package which we will not be ordering. Photos for your review. ***I sent this exact email to Management GM??? giving 7 days to respond and did not hear a word back. Nothing. Almost $300 and we basically had 1 cup of soup/person and 1 piece of cheesecake/person for out Christmas Dinner, the rest was inedible.

The food is mediocre. $24 for a sea bass, some bland rice and 8 green beans. My waitress was ok. I order a soup and salad for me, I said I will have a soup and salad, and she took off and didn't take my wife's appetizer order. When she came back I had to say that was just for me, my wife needs to order. She left and brought out our salad and didn't ask what we had wanted to order for our main course. When she brought our soup that's when I said can we order our main course. The soup, French onion, was very watered down. I've had some very nice French onion soup and this was not very good at all. We won't be going back

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boise. The food is amazing and the place has a really mellow atmosphere. Last time we went we got the Silent majority shrimp, Pete’s lamb chops, re-elect ravioli, crème brûlée, and the sorbet. The whole meal was amazing but the shrimp was an absolute stand out. I don’t normally go out of my way to recommend a dish but the silent majority shrimp was amazing!
Ian J — Google review
Nice decor and vibe I love all the stone and feel of this restaurant. Very romantic. Food was excellent although the drinks were just ok, a good bartender who knows how to make an old fashioned would do them wonders.
Smokin' A — Google review
Simply amazing. Our waiter was the best, funny and helpful. Food, specifically the salmon, was incredible. And you gotta have the bread pudding. The malbec was so delicious. Highly recommend!
Mark — Google review
The best way to describe this place is: Nothing is wrong, just there is better (Richards, Alivita, etc). The food is good, upscale and reasonably priced. Their goat cheese appetizer is especially good. The drinks leave quite a lot to be desired, especially for the price. (Normally at places like this an old fashioned will have a single rock, not soda ice). The atmosphere is nice, they are defiantly trying for cozy, but is way to bright for that.
Robert G — Google review
After getting off a 7-hour flight from the northeast, the last thing I wanted to do was to venture out into the hot, summer sun for dinner. But I had no regrets once I was seated! The surrounding trees around this place made it comfortable to sit outside, and our wonderful waiter, Stephen, made sure we were served promptly and that our food was cooked to our liking. I highly recommend the filet mignon (a seasonal), which was buttery soft and barely required any effort to cut apart. The loaded baked potato isn't anything to scoff at either. I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable meal that will impress and deliver on quality and service speed.

Good selection of tasty wines. Absolutely love the beet salad, so good. The fish and chips is really good too, no deep freezer mass produced special - looks and tastes made fresh. The kids menu is good and they get good sized portions. Very friendly staff. Doesn’t matter hot it is outside, the misters and patio plants keep it nicely cool.

This has been our favorite go-to spot ANYWHERE in Boise for as long as we’ve lived here but we’re super disappointed that they now only use beef tallow in their fryer - what the heck? I don’t eat meat so now can’t eat the fries OR the tofu?!?! And my hubs who is a meat eater said the fries aren’t as tasty with this switch and had an upset stomach the next day. Also, although we’ve loved it here it’s always been a disappointment that no matter how many times we ask (and we literally come 1-3x/week! - we’re regulars!) there’s NEVER been a single vegetarian entree on the menu. Why not make the restaurant more inclusive vs less? Add a veggie based entree, don’t CHANGE ALL of the fried veggie options to be cooked in BEEF TALLOW!!! Seriously? Please realize you’ve cut a demographic with this change. Change it back and for goodness sake please give the vegetarians a little love with a main veg-based entree! Thanks🙏🏻

This is a great place to eat!! The drinks were fantastic and the service was excellent! We met for a large party, our waitress attended to all of our needs very well! I had the Chimi Flank Steak and it was delicious. It came with two sides, and I got the French fries and Mac and cheese. The fries were a little overdone, but not too bad. This place had a great vibe to it, this location is in the Hip part of town but it was a fun place to gather. Overall, definitely stop by if you’re looking for a place to eat!
Kyley S — Google review
13th Street pub and grill is worth a visit if you are in Boise. It is family friendly. The server was attentive and available. Most of our food was on point. However, the French fries were overly salty, and Curry soup was heavy-handed on the curry, which concealed the other flavors of the Curry soup. I would highly recommend the black and blue burger and the Cod and chips. For 5 of us, the bill was under $120 before tip. Consider the burger was Wagyu beef, and the salmon was fresh. Try the sweet potato fries. A draft beer is $6 and an old fashion is $13 if you want an adult beverage.

Tin Roof Tacos is a no-frills Mexican eatery in Boise, founded by two sisters from Texas. The restaurant offers a variety of unique tacos at affordable prices, with options like Baja Shrimp, Black Bean, Texican, and BBQ Brisket. Known for its fast service and locally beloved status, Tin Roof Tacos also operates as a food truck in West Boise. The menu includes made-from-scratch ingredients such as tortillas and features a popular carne asada taco.
Fast casual taco place, ordered to go. Tacos were great: tried the fried fish, fajita beef & Tin Roof taco. All were good, the fried fish was my favorite (with green salsa). Also tried a side of the street corn, enjoyed the fresh tomatoes on top & that they served in a bowl vs on the cob. Service was good, what you would expect of a fast casual place. Prices were appropriate $2.50 for veggie tacos & $3 for protein varieties. Tacos are on the smaller side, would recommend 3-4 if you’re really hungry. Would definitely come back!

Outstanding tacos! Lots of variety. This isn’t what I would call authentic but the different flavors were interesting and tasty. All of the ingredients seemed very fresh and high quality. It’s a popular place so plan ahead if you’re going during peak times.

First time (2 weeks ago photo) was 5 Stars! We liked it so much that we drove 25 miles today for more tacos, only to be so disappointed. Shrimp taco had tails on the shrimp and not the same shrimp, looked like deep fried batter dipped. Half the Ingredients were missing and I wish I had took a photo to show today’s tacos. Staff seemed more focused on talking than making the tacos the way they should be made.

Food is alright. They are very fast each time I go in which is a plus. Small portions especially on the steak tacos- I had to pull out a magnifying glass to find the steak on the taco. My chicken tacos were cold. I would recommend the shrimp tacos out of what I have had.

We use the Tin Roof taco truck for a wedding reception, and it was such a huge hit! April was awesome to work with. Her team was on site and ready to go on time. They had chips and salsa and guac and queso all ready for cocktail hour and set up so right right guests were coming over, Everything was ready. for dinner, guests could come over table by table and order 3 of the 5 options. It only took about a minute because they had a lot of the food pre-prepared and ready to assemble based on what the guest wanted. So no long lines !! April and her team were on it and Quick and really great about getting people through the line quickly so they could eat their dinner This was such a fun addition to our reception and all of our guests just raved how great the tacos were . If you love, language is tacos this is your sign to get a taco truck and have Tin Roof come cater your wedding !

Experience was great, staff were kind and helpful, pretty efficient - but the actual taste and quality of the tacos wasn't what you would expect for a taco specific place. We tried 7 different kinds of tacos and only really "liked" 1 of them. Corn Tortillas, Kind of soggy. Not a lot of flavor. Wouldn't seek it out intentionally to eat there again. They do give a large serving size of Guacamole though for only a few dollars :)

Always a great go to taco place that's tasty and affordable. My only complaint is it's very hard to get breakfast tacos ordered for pickup- i get an estimated wait of at least 2 hours Everytime - which pushes out to lunch period, so at this point it's just easier to go in person if you want tacos as early as me lol

So grateful to find this cafe. It was so revitalizing to have a mug of bone broth with all the goods (fried egg, seaweed, greens, sweet potato, ginger & turmeric). Stopped in for an unrelated event, dinner with strangers, and this was the secret venue. Which I was excited about, because I haven't been to this restaurant yet! The staff was very accommodating and attentive with a large party. There was like 13 of us and it's a comfy venue. There was one item that really caught my eye, which was the Crispy Korean Potatoes. And they were absolutely fantastic 😋! I would definitely get them again. Given how tasty that dish was, I would be interested in going back and trying some other items. Be different, and try someplace new.

This is an old school, greasy spoon, cafe type of joint. If that's your thing, you'll probably dig it. Fast, friendly, and attentive service and fair portions for the price. But there's nothing here that's going to 'wow' you if you're a foodie. *I found the claim to famous biscuits and gravy to be little more than marketing hyperbole... Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with this place, I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

This hidden gem on Fairview is a must-visit, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a classic, delicious breakfast or lunch. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and handled our growing party with grace. The food was absolutely fantastic; a perfect example of home-style cooking done right. Every dish was full of flavor, and the portions were generous, exactly what you want from a classic diner. Beyond the delicious food and excellent service, part of what makes The Capri so special is its welcoming atmosphere and traditional feel. It's a place that feels like it's been a part of the community forever, with a sense of history that's evident the moment you walk in. The restaurant even has a connection to another local icon, with the two businesses often co-branded and even opening a joint location in Meridian. The Capri is also the proud home of Rudy the Rooster, a beloved Boise icon. If you're looking for a taste of old-school Boise with a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food, and a bit of local charm, The Capri is the place to go. It’s a hidden gem that feels like a warm hug, and it's a place you'll want to return to again and again.

If you're looking for the old 70-80s diner style restaurant this is it. The place is always busy. It's a clean friendly and busy atmosphere. You seat yourself at a clean table and someone will come to get you situated. Our party of two (1st timers here) ordered huckleberry pancakes, sweet corn waffles and biscuits and gravy to share. That sweet corn waffle from their "specials" menu was our favorite. Glad we gave it a try. I want to go back for it before it's gone. Our waitress was delightful and I look forward to returning.

You don’t need a full order of them loaded biscuits and gravy. But you do need some of that loaded biscuits and gravy in your belly.

The perfect diner with great food! I don't think the interior has changed in 50 years. The service is always good and parking is not a problem.
Lisa H — Google review
This is a great diner to grab breakfast in the morning, it reminds me of the diner in Seinfeld, the staff is amazing and have all worked together for a long time and it makes the business run smooth, food comes out hot and fast l, and always taste great. I always bring visitors here for a meal and we always leave happy. The waitress’s are literally pros very fast and very sweet and kind no matter how busy they get they will find time to make your visit feel like you are a long time patron.
Ironham M — Google review
We absolutely love the Capri as far as the food and service is concerned. What we don’t like is that during our last few visits there have twice been dogs in the restaurant. This morning the dog was sitting in a booth with its owners (I assume). The dog had it’s head on the table more than once. Neither time were the dogs marked as service animals. We are dog lovers ourselves but do not feel it’s appropriate to have them be in an eating establishment.

Eddie's Restaurant is a charming eatery that captures the essence of classic American dining with its retro vibe and homestyle fare. Nestled in Boise, this family-owned diner has become a beloved spot for locals and travelers alike, offering an inviting atmosphere adorned with nostalgic memorabilia from the 1950s. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast or brunch, Eddie's serves up generous portions of delicious dishes like their famous biscuits and gravy, made fresh daily.
My wife and I stopped by for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and we both asked the same question: what took us so long to come here?? The food was fantastic—very reasonably priced and left us full and satisfied. They serve Pepsi products, along with your choice of curly fries, tots, or regular French fries. So far, we've tried the chicken strips, regular fries, country gravy, French dip, chili cheese burger, meatloaf with brown gravy, and even sampled their coconut cream pie. We've had a great experience with all of them! I will say the regular fries aren’t my favorite, but that’s just a personal preference—I’m a sucker for seasoned curly fries. Tonight, we also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and Salisbury steak, and once again, everything was spot-on. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the interior really captures the feeling of a 1950s-style diner, complete with classic booth seating, framed car photos, hanging plants, and retro touches like the Pepsi-Cola condiment caddies. It's got a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal. The building’s exterior is a bit aged, which honestly contributed to us overlooking it for too long—but that was absolutely our loss. We’ve immensely enjoyed every visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for great American comfort food at a fair price, served in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.

I have to say, this was the perfect place to eat just before my flight. I had a long flight that day and only an hour before I had to leave for the airport. The waitress served us right away, and of food came quickly. The plates were large and the prices were fair. I don't order drinks anymore, $4 for an ice tea or watered down coke anywhere you go is just crazy! Water with lemon is just fine. I have to say, I really enjoyed eating at Eddie's. There are plenty of tables and if you're in a hurry like me, there is a counter bar to sit at. Good food, great service and reasonable prices.

A 50's style diner, very quiet. We went on a Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and there were plenty of tables open. Our waiter did a nice job. His name was Sam. We didn't have to wait very long for our food and he did a good job making sure that all our needs were taken care of. I had chicken fried steak and it was great. It came with three sides. I chose fresh squash, loaded baked potato and soup. I look forward to going back.

First time here with my family of 13!! My cousin lives in Idaho and he said this is his favorite little place for breakfast. It was the only breakfast place that could actually get a medium rare on my steak. It was excellent!! Food was absolutely delicious and service was great. Highly recommended!!

My wife and stop here on are way through east or west, to have a quick visit with family. It’s always great. This time the large pack of Corvettes in the parking lot. They from the newest all the way back to a 1954 I think it was. Awesome experience always

We’ve only been here 2x and so far it’s been a great experience both times. It gets busy on the weekends so you might have to wait a bit. The food is typical diner fare and the servers are so nice. It has a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere & plenty of parking.

We stopped by after a Soccer ⚽️ game and had a great experience 👍. I had asked an AI (Gemini) to recommend a restaurant with great Chicken-fried Steak, and we were also needing great Hamburgers... Eddies was a top-rated place, so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. The Cheeseburgers 🍔 got eaten quickly, and my Chicken 🐔 Fried Steak was great. We all agreed that we'd eat here, again, soon! The food was fresh, and cooked perfectly 👌. Thanks, Gemini AI, for telling me about this place. The location is great, and easy to find. Thanks to the cooks and staff that made our experience memorable.

The oldies but goodies atmosphere was exceptional. Admiring the pictures of the real classics, unique license plates line the walls. Food was served hot. The taste of home cooked food, comfort for the soul. Friendly staff the moment we walked through the door.

Vegan restaurant
High Note Cafe is a delightful plant-based restaurant that prides itself on serving fresh, wholesome meals without the use of microwaves or freezers. This vibrant eatery offers an all-day brunch menu featuring mouthwatering options like Breakfast Tacos and Brunch Tortas, which combine spiced black bean puree with organic tofu and homemade mozzarella. For lunch, you can indulge in unique dishes such as the Habanero Cream Melt or the flavorful Veggie Pita, all crafted from scratch using top-quality ingredients.
I have been vegan for 5 years, a foodie my whole life. So when I say that this place instantly became my new favoritest (of all time) place to eat, I mean it with my whole heart. The service was wonderful, so attentive, friendly, and helpful! The atmosphere was fun, we LOVED the art on the walls and the music. But the food, I cannot stress enough how good it was. I’m a seasoned cook and I left questioning how I could ever match the deliciousness that we had. The portion sizes and prices are incredible too. We got so full from half our meal and the leftovers held together so well. I cannot stop thinking about the caesar salad. I have desperately missed them since I went vegan and this one was BETTER than any one I have ever had before. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was amazing! Cannot wait to go back!

Amazing!! Not being a vegan- We always make sure to take our daughter (vegan) when she’s in town! These dishes Never disappoint me! I’m stunned of the rich amazing flavors! Oh and their home made bread.. you will just Love! From their nachos to cheesy veggie soup , French dip oh … the Ceaser salad and my favorite quesadillas!! Love the comfort and art on the wall. Great staff! Wonderful kind server yesterday at lunch!! Now we’re hooked and extremely Happy with High Note Cafe.. It’s a Must Go👏👏👏♥️
Michelle S — Google review
My sister in law, who is vegan, loves this place. As a non-vegan I enjoyed it. I got the plate of nachos. Plenty of food, which was nice and while I would've preferred chicken on my nachos, I recognize that the appeal of this place is the fact that they don't have chicken. It was still tasty. So all in all, it's a good vegan restaurant that even non-vegans can enjoy.
Joseph P — Google review
Tried the tofu scramble and gyro and both were excellent. Very fresh food. They don’t use microwaves or freezers.
Colemen W — Google review
I'm not a vegan but my wife is. Happy wife, happy life! Having said that, this place is phenomenal! You wouldn't even know it was vegan! It was absolutely delicious, service was at 100% as well. It was overall just a magnificent experience and I highly recommend!

Vegan Brunch Perfection in Boise! We had an incredible brunch at The High Note in Boise — a must-stop vegan restaurant while in town. I went with my wife and two daughters, and we were blown away by the food. We ordered the gyro, breakfast burrito, chik’n tacos, nachos, and pancakes — everything was delicious. The flavors were bold, fresh, and super satisfying. Boise continues to surprise us with amazing vegan options!
MC L — Google review
One of those places which serves plant based food but doesn’t compromise on taste. Service is a little slow but definitely recommend the place for its food. We tried their Loaded Nachos, and Breakfast Burrito. Both dishes really good. Among the food we ordered, we didn’t like their Tomato Basil Soup w/ Toast Their Beverage selection is a must try. Highly recommend the Fresh pressed Berry & Herb Juice, Berry & Herb Lemonade, and the Idaho Kombucha
Kaushik A — Google review
I was looking for a brunch place before my flight home and stumbled upon this sweet cafe. I was unaware it was vegan until I sat down and looked at a menu. The tofu breakfast burrito was great and I’ve never enjoyed tofu, until now. The server was very sweet. My only feedback was the music was a bit rough to listen to, I’m unsure what it was—potentially EDM. Regardless, we all have different tastes in music and I’d highly recommend stopping and eating at High Note Cafe. VEGAN OR NOT!!

Sunshine Spice Bakery & Cafe, owned by the Sham sisters, is Boise's first Afghan bakery and cafe that infuses saffron into a variety of pastries, puddings, cookies, coffees and teas. It offers a unique breakfast experience with popular items like pistachio baklava and saffron cookies. The cafe also features original artwork by the owners on its walls. Customers praise the exceptional service and recommend trying the saffron pudding and Turkish coffee for a delightful experience.
Sunrise Spice Cafe is an absolute gem! The coffee was smooth and satisfying, but the Baklava completely stole my heart — flaky, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. The entire place is incredibly well-organized, and the customer service is top-notch. You can truly feel the care and passion in everything they do. I absolutely love this place, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Boise, do yourself a favor and let Sunrise Spice Cafe serve you. You won’t regret it!

This is one of our favorite places to go for incredible treats. I highly recommend the saffron pudding and the hot chocolate. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have found it all delightful! If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Such a cute spot in Boise to enjoy coffee and dessert! Sunshine Spice Café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant. We tried the Purple Ube Coffee, Pistachio Coffee, and a Matcha Latte—all beautifully presented in porcelain cups with a tiny silver spoon. Not only were the drinks delicious and unique, but the attention to detail in presentation really stood out. A lovely place to relax, catch up with friends, or treat yourself to something a little different. Highly recommend!
Justyna P — Google review
An adorable bakery with delicious pastries and drinks! Staff was so friendly and helpful. All of their pastries looked so good it was hard to choose just one. Lots of drink options - so many fun flavors for lattes! Inside is very cute and clean with lots of seating options. We ended up getting the saffron pudding to go because I kept staring at it. Highly recommend going here for pastries or coffee or a sweet treat!

I work next door to their secondary location. I have enjoyed their coffee and masala tea. The vibe down there is chill and the ladies that work there are nice. I was in the area so I decided to stop in and grab an afternoon drink. It was later in the day so it was pretty chill. It was just a couple and myself. I really wanted to try their black sesame latte. It sounded kind of fun to try! But unfortunately it was not available. So after go over their drink menu again, I decided on the saffron tea. My tea came out in a pretty cup with a dainty spoon. I have never had saffron tea before so I didn't know what to expect. It tasted earthy. It was rich in golden color. I did add some honey to it and it was a nice addition to it. I can see myself appreciating this tea that much more if it was colder outside. I enjoyed the venue for a bit and grab a to go cup to take the rest with me. It was nice coming in and grabbing my tea. It was also great supporting a locally woman owned business. I will have to definitely come back and try their highly spoken about dumplings and that black sesame latte.
Dani S — Google review
Such a gem to have. The coffee is excellent with interesting options such as pistachio (my favorite) and ube lattes. The pastries are delicious and so fun to try. My absolute favorite is the dumplings. You have to try the dumplings. It comes with bread and is a perfect savory lunch. I highly recommend Sunshine Spice!
Paige J — Google review
This place had some of the best pastries I’ve ever had! They have such cool flavors and varieties, and the coffee was just as good! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Elise T — Google review
This is a really cute café that has some unique flavors such as saffron pudding. I got two amereti cookies, one coconut and one beet. They were the only gluten free goodies here. Then I ordered a coconut milk hot chocolate with a little orange flavor. They were all very tasty. The person at the counter was very nice and the service was great. Definitely recommend. They offer almond, oat and coconut milk and a variety of teas and lattes along with their baked goods. Try it out! Plus, I mean look at that cute spoon. 🙂

Certified Kitchen and Bakery, located in Hyde Park, is a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts. The restaurant is known for using a 52-year-old sourdough starter to create their delicious English muffins and breakfast sandwiches. Despite its casual service style, the cafe compensates with mouthwatering offerings like the English muffin breakfast sandwiches loaded with scrambled eggs, arugula, white cheddar, and Fresno creme fraiche.
Very good bakery with fresh and healthy options, the homemade English muffins were amazing, soft and airy! The trailhead bowl was filled with lots of yummy ingredients! The coffees were also a hit! Only drawback is that there is very limited seating, only option is a bar seating for about 6-8 ppl. It’s definitely geared towards take out. Service and staff are friendly and helpful!

Genuinely loved this place. Best food I had in Boise. Options for great baked goods or clean salads with fresh flavors or delicious lunch or breakfast sandwiches with simple coffee options too. It’s just a great place for breakfast or lunch as there’s something for everyone, everything tastes fresh and intentional and you can tell the menu was really fine tuned and all the options are high quality
Langston — Google review
Certified Kitchen and Bakery quickly became my go-to spot during a 3-week house sit in Boise’s Hyde Park—and for good reason. Everything I tried was fresh and consistently delicious. I sampled nearly all of their pastries and salads, and they never missed. The Cobb salad is a standout, and the tuna salad is equally satisfying. Friendly vibe, quality ingredients, and reliable flavor. 5 stars all the way!
Kytka — Google review
Absolutely LOVED it here!! We were visiting Boise and wanted a good place to grab coffee and a bite to eat. Certified had everything we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. So many good options it was hard to decide, we started with the certified breakfast sandwich and huevos ranchero breakfast burrito with a dirty chai. The housemade chai was perfectly spiced and the sourdough English muffin in the breakfast sandwich was so good we had to buy a half dozen to take home. We also left with a sourdough brownie and blueberry crumble bar. The brownie was easily one of the best brownies I’ve ever had, like a sophisticated cosmic brownie, thick and fudgy with a delicious ganache layer on top. Everything we had here was amazing, Hope to visit again in the future and try more of the menu.

We had the English muffin breakfast sandwiches and the chicken salad sandwich - praise be! Iced latte and green tea were so refreshing! Would love to have been able to sit near bakery!

Can’t say enough good things about this bakery! We had breakfast sandwiches and their *famous* starchip cookies. Chef’s kiss for both! Secretly wishing we had come earlier in our trip, knowing it would be worth coming back multiple times.

This is a must stop if you're in Boise. Homemade English muffins are great. Coffee is excellent as well
Michael H — Google review
The staff was nice, the party goods and cookbook selection in the front was very nice and had a good variety. I liked the sprinkle cookies I brought home as well as one of the other cookies. That Earl Gray cake, which I was super excited about, was... Not good. The orange zest was chewy and texturally not jibing with the cake, the tea leaves (the staff explained there was loose leaf tea in it, but this was TOO much) were so evident that it was not pleasurable. The chocolate cookie I brought home was a bit too loaded with espresso. I'm willing to give it another effort but the general impression was "good but not great."
