Restaurant
Fork is a cozy restaurant founded in 2011 by Cameron and Amanda Lumsden, offering modern American cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Housed in a historic landmark, the restaurant features a warm ambiance with brick and wood decor made from reclaimed materials. The menu boasts creative farm-to-table dishes such as griddled mac n' cheese, buttermilk-fried chicken, and local bread pudding.
Great place for a date or just to meetup with friends. Food is high quality and mostly a different spin on the traditional and with locally sourced ingredients. Tonight, I had the burger, which I highly recommend. Wife got the rainbow trout which she was quite pleased with though the portions were too huge to finish. Desert we had the butter cake which was delicious but also huge. Nice atmosphere. Beautiful old Boise look situated right on the main walk street with all the other restaurants. It was a quick 2 minute Lime scooter ride from our hotel. Be sure to reserve a table via Open Table as it gets busy.

I tried the braised beef with a house salad. It was very good, not great. Quality salads, mixed greens. We also had trout, again very good. Also, salad with smoked salmon, very good and the roasted chicken was better than I expected. The outside seating was perfect. Service was good, waiter not much personality.
Doug D — Google review
Stopped in for lunch at The Fork and had a fantastic experience. We started with the grilled cheese and tomato bisque appetizer—super comforting, perfectly crispy, and great for sharing. For my main, I went with the smash burger, and it absolutely delivered—juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. It was a little on the salty side, but honestly so good that I think it should be a permanent menu item. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about The Fork: set right in the heart of downtown Boise with gorgeous flowers surrounding the patio. We grabbed an outdoor table, which was perfect for a sunny afternoon, but the interior is just as impressive—housed in an old bank, with a cool lounge downstairs where you can actually sit in the vault. Our server, Ramon, was AWESOME. Super polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and keeping our water glasses full (which was much appreciated on a hot day). Overall, The Fork is a top-notch lunch spot—delicious food, excellent service, and a setting that always feels a little bit special.
Nick F — Google review
Our last lunch in Boise Idaho before we departed to the airport was at the FORK in downtown right off Idaho St. the restaurant is right on the corner and to enter is through the outdoor seating area. Just go right on in and the inside is the twice the size of the outside. Good little spot. We were in and out of this spot in 45 mins and just in time to catch our flight. The food was good and the service was as well. Very nice people and good food. Don’t forget to try some asparagus fries while you are here.
Patrick K — Google review
4-stars all around. We decided to walk around downtown Boise. Frankly, I was impressed. They did a good job laying out the restaurants and shops around the university area. The Fork was American cuisine done with the farm-to-fork (table) principle. We ordered the wagyu beef sliders 🍔 the fig salad 🥗 braised beef 🥩 and their famed butter cake 🍰 plus cocktails 🍸 of course. All good! Wished we also tried the asparagus fries 🍟 😉 The service was attentive and just right. This is definitely recommended if ever you’re in the Boise area. There are other interesting restaurants there to try to.
Mike — Google review
The wife and I really enjoyed our lunch visit here. Everything was solid, and the place itself is a really great space to enjoy a drink or dining experience. Wife got a lemonade cocktail and I noticed they had a great selection of local craft beers, and I chose the Sawtooth Idahome IPA. I am a cheesy guy by nature, so decided to have the fondue style grilled cheese with tomato soup. Wife chose the chop salad, and we shared the fries (the rosemary parmesan ones). Both were good, especially mine since I thought it was a good twist on presentation. I was told that I won the food battle for the meal. The atmosphere was energetic but classy, and I could see this place might be a lot of fun at night. Again, everything was pretty solid. I always explain my 4's (and try not to post any 3's or below, because I got on this platform only to broadcast positivity towards establishments), and I think we caught the salad greens on an off day, and we just didn't get the warm and fuzzy from the bartender on duty. It was efficient service, but was missing that welcoming, nice-to-meet-you service. But, this place is still a must stop for your Boise adventure, we definitely WILL come back the next time we are in town, and it is right in the heart of all of the fun on 8th. I highly recommend this place, and see you there (well, the next time we are in Boise)...

The best eggs Benny I have ever had! They were braised short rib Benny. The spicy Marg was spicy and delish! The burger was good, a bit over cooked for asking for medium. The atmosphere was nice, we set up a reservation for Saturday at 11:00 and did not need it. Overall the food was awesome. The server...why not great. Just slow and took his time. It ended up being a long brunch just because of him. We will be back!

Wow! Amazing food, cocktails, and the location and ambiance is perfect downtown close to lots of cute shops and great walking areas. Our server was helpful with recommendations, all staff friendly and they have a cute outdoor patio in good weather.

Ice cream shop
The STIL, short for The Sweetest Things In Life, is a trendy ice cream shop in Boise that caters to a diverse range of tastes. It's known for its modern approach to ice cream, offering vegan and dairy-free options alongside alcohol-infused flavors. This makes it a popular spot for adults looking to indulge in unique treats. The shop also offers pairing flights that combine wines or beers with different ice cream flavors.
So glad I discovered this little gem. I loved the homemade flavors that offered a great variety of new things to try. I took the clerks recommendation and split my single scoop into two halves. The ice cream was smooth and the flavors were subtle. I'll be back for sure!
Jeff H — Google review
What a great place to stop for a huge treat! Flights of icecream is the best invention ever! Share 8 sampling of their homemade icecream with friends. Wonderful treat! Beer and icecream flights are also pretty great idea!
Michelle D — Google review
I normally never go to ice cream places because they are so overpriced and the ice cream is just average. I recently became lactose intolerant and have missed ice cream so much. They had five different flavors of lactose and gluten free ice cream and they were all absolutely delicious. For the price to have something that genuinely tasted like regular ice cream was completely worth it. I would definitely come back here again. I tried the raspberry, mango and cookies and cream flavors. I loved them all. The gluten free cookies and cream I still dream about.
Laura H — Google review
I was guided to this ice cream shop by a local, and I just wanted to say "Thank you" random local person. I went solo the first trip. When my wife found out I went on my own, she informed me that it was already on her well-researched pre-trip list (so, we went again together). ANYWAY, this place was great. For my first trip, I had the Marky Mark and the Funky Crunch, the Bake Sale, and the Fresh Powder...all in one cup. Awesomeness. I forgot to note what I got the second time and what is pictured below, but just know that it is ALL good. Even if I said the ice cream was subpar, which I wouldn't, and it wasn't, they had two things that would make them a five regardless. One, their clever flavor combinations. You don't have to worry about going in and choosing between vanilla and chocolate. They live off the beaten path in their creations. Actually, the toughest and most fun part of the process was picking the flavors that would merge well together. Two, I am not sure if they selectively hired energetic kids behind the counter, or if working at the place just made normal kids more awesome, but we were greeted with curiosity, energy, and efficiency each of my times there. They could just go through the motions with their part-time job, but they actually elevated the whole experience. We loved our two visits here, I highly recommend this place, and see you there (the next time we are in Boise)...
Mark F — Google review
If you compile data on the highest-rated ice cream stores across the United States, the STIL (Sweetest Things In Life) in Boise is ranked an impressive 11th overall! Now, theoretically it should be unforgettable ice cream with those ratings! But locals in Boise seem to overrate their eateries, and unfortunately STIL is no exception. Despite an average customer rating of 4.77 on all platforms, the ice cream is shockingly mediocre. It doesn't even compare to decent store-bought brands, much less the life-changing creameries throughout America's top 20. Some of the flavors are creative, and of course ice cream is always good. But the ratings for STIL are way overblown!
Wade W — Google review
STIL was delicious! To have vegan and gluten free options as a majority was a nice change up from the normal. We ordered “Cookies with Grandma” (gf and vegan) which was delicious coconut with cookie pieces and “Nightcap on Eckert” which was a for those 21+ as it’s an espresso ice cream featuring cake and heath bar pieces, and is infused with kahlua. We will be back!
Carol-Anne W — Google review
Yes, the Stihl is awesome!! The music is great the staff is friendly and the ice cream is amazing. Do not miss this experience.
Sean B — Google review
Hands down the best coffee ice cream I’ve ever had. Their flavor is caramel espresso, and it’s better than any store bought coffee flavored ice cream I’ve tried so far, including Haagen-Dazs. Other flavors are really good too, The STIL definitely has it figured out. Prices are a little high (around $9 for a pint) but for this quality, it’s 100% worth it. You won’t be disappointed!

Cute old fashioned ice cream parlor in Hyde Park. We had rootbeer floats, about $6 each. Not busy midday midweek.
M P — Google review
Giving a 1 star because the ice cream was good but I can tell that my girlfriend and I weren’t welcome in there. The staff was very interactive and ready to help everyone but as soon as we went up to order they started getting very quiet and rude. The lady handing out the orders would happily yell out everyone’s names for the order but when it came to us she didn’t say a word and just slammed our ice cream down and left. For context we were the only people of color in that ice cream shop and we were the only people treated rudely and unfairly. We will not be returning

Fanci Freez Burgers and Shakes is a beloved walk-up burger joint in Boise, serving classic quick-serve eats and old-fashioned shakes. This locally owned gem has been a staple in the community since 1947, attracting loyal customers for decades. With over 49 flavors of milkshakes and ice cream, including the famous Boston Shake topped with a sundae, Fanci Freez offers an iconic Boise experience.
So amazing! Totally worth it. Highly recommend. They are fast service. Delicious huckleberry burger. Love the Fanci Soda. I don’t remember what it was called but was the Coke, Cranberry and Lime flavor. The fries were delicious and fry sauce is always a good match. ALSO can we talk about how the small cone is so GENEROUS😮
Emily I — Google review
This place has such a great vibe! I was thrilled to discover they now have their own ice cream at Albertsons. It's been a few years since I last visited, and I decided to try the huckleberry burger—it was fantastic! Despite the line, our food came out quickly. We stayed a few minutes after closing, and a staff member kindly opened the window to serve a cone to a mother and her young daughter who arrived 5 minutes after they closed the window. I was truly impressed by the level of service, which is hard to find these days. Thanks for the delicious shake and burger!
Brandon C — Google review
Fanci Freez is a no frills good old American style fast food kind of place. Walk up to the order window to place your order; when your name is called then go to the pickup window. Prepackaged sauces are available to liven up your fries. The little meal is plenty then follow it up with a soft serve cone and your there!
Sean B — Google review
Just what you'd expect from a business that has been in town since before time began! This is just like a 1950 drive-in. Great burgers and fries and some of the best ice cream and milkshakes you'll ever find. It is ALWAYS busy. That's because it's always good. It's a fun place to go with the kids for ice cream. You can go through the drive-thru or hang out on the patio. It's just like the old days and still looks like it did 50 years ago. Every time I've been there, it's been very clean. The service is excellent, and also fairly fast for how busy they always are. The prices are fair and the people are always very nice. I would highly recommend Fanci Freez Burgers and Shakes. The experience and the old ice cream tastes are worth stopping for!

Love this spot. Huge selection of shakes. Food is great and reasonably priced. The service is fast and the employees are always friendly.

It was a really hot day and I wanted a milkshake. The girl at the window was pleasant, and the milkshake came very quickly. It was so thick you had to work to get it through the straw. What more can you ask?

Fanci Freez did not disappoint! Their fries and chicken strips are amazing. The huckleberry milkshake lived up to the hype of being voted Boise’s best milkshake.

Fanci Freez is a Treasure Valley treat! Fries and a Boston shake are my go-to and can never go wrong. But, this time I ordered the huckleberry burger...ah-mazing!! Just the right amount of sweetness with the bacon, cheese, and pickles. 10 out of 10!

Boise's dining scene has been gaining attention, with upscale restaurants like Kin, Little Pearl Oyster Bar, and The Lively standing out. The Lively prides itself on offering exceptional food in an inviting atmosphere that embodies genuine hospitality. Their menu features familiar yet sophisticated dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. For a pre-dinner drink, visitors can head to Bar Gibbon or the speakeasy NO. 40 on Saturdays by reservation only.
VERDICT: A definitive stop for lingering conversations over exquisite food and drink. Time easily shifts to timelessness as the experience truly envelopes you and your company. FOOD: If you go, plan on drinks, appetizers, dinner, sides, dessert (in whatever order pleases you). The food and drink are truly elevated, but the portions are smaller. Still, it's completely worth it and even adds to your dining experience via an ensemble of flavorsome choices progressively delivered to you. The menu does change (I'm not sure how fast), so keep that in mind if you find the items I'm reviewing aren't present. Each food was its "rendition, truly revelational in execution. DRINKS: Classic and unique offerings. I should have been more adventurous and gone beyond my draft beer. I did sample one (I don't remember the name of), but it was a take on an appletini that had incredible apple flavor while remaining dry in sweetness yet bold in flavor. APPS: Meatballs were excellent. At first, I was apprehensive in that there was no crust on the meatball, but after tasting it, they convinced me I might be making meatballs incorrectly. The texture was a perfect bite-- consistently cooked from surface-to-center-- blooming in flavor balanced well between meat, aromatics, and umami, while the marinara serves as acid to further open the palate. DINNER: The cod was brined and cooked to perfection, with a moist flake and a torch-seared skin. The miso sauce bloomed harmoniously with the more gentle flavor of the cod, awakening it to a more interesting presentation. While slightly uncouth, I ordered the french fries to experience an elevated fish and chips. The lasagna was almost laughably small, but upon tasting it, we laughed no more. It was rich and elegant, impressively filling akin to Elven Lembas bread. (The portion size was a mercy for those like me who would eat the whole thing and then regret it, had it been bigger.) The roast chicken was likely a well-executed half chicken presentation, perfectly brined and classically seasoned with an expertly balanced aromatic bouquet. DESSERT: Incredible. Having a pastry chef on staff really makes a difference. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were excellent, but the key lime brûlée could inspire a whole Hallmark Channel movie about the dessert that got away, starring Simu Li as me, pining away for it during the lonely holiday season. SERVICE: Excellent. The wait staff were prompt, knowledgeable, and generally pleasant to interact with. ATMOSPHERE: Low light and quiet music set the tone for intimate conversation in a comfortable booth. This is where The Lively excels: a lingering, intimate environment meant to engage in conversation at length over drinks, appetizers, dinner, and shared desserts.

Wow. This place is beyond just “hey let’s go out for dinner”. This is a fantastic culinary experience. The staff is amazing, they break down the menu if you need, give recommendations if you ask, and the food has never disappointed. The atmosphere is very laid back and very clean. Well worth the trip!!!
Rebel G — Google review
Incredible downtown setting with an upscale dining area and lobby bar. The service was outstanding from both the bartender and the server and the drinks and food were fantastic. The whole experience felt like we were in a much larger city than Boise (in all the best ways).

Our daughter and son in law held their wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfection. They even put together a beautiful ice cream wedding cake for our Son in law! They worked beautifully with our DJ, photographer and our kid sitter!

One of the few restaurants that is actually worth visiting again and again. My wife and I visit at least once a month and every single time the food is excellent. You really can't go wrong with anything on menu. The drinks are sensational as well. I can taste the attention to detail and quality of ingredients each time we visit and honestly, I could write so much more about the food, staff and ambiance. Easily one of our top restaurants on the west coast and mountain region.
Brian C — Google review
We reserved the Chef's table to celebrate my wife's b-day on 6/24/23. The entire experience from the time we walked in was incredible. This is fine dining that we've never experienced before nor had the opportunity to experience while in Idaho and it was a treat. The staff were amazing and were both extremely attentive while also personable and welcoming. Highly recommend adding the wine pairing. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. If you want best-of-class fine dining without traveling to a major city, this is it!

When in Boise, Idaho during the summer, treat yourself to a unique ice cream experience at Stella's Ice Cream. This beloved spot offers an array of unconventional combinations like donuts and ice cream, as well as vegan and dairy-free options. Stella's prides itself on creating joy through their delightful baked goods and savory ice cream while fostering a sense of community in Boise.
My husband and I stopped here while we were walking around after dinner. I am dairy/ gluten free and I was so happy they had vegan options. I tried the Rocky Road Vegan and it was so good and tasted like the real thing. My husband had the coconut vegan ice cream( he can eat dairy but wanted to try the vegan one). It does get busy especially if it’s warm outside but they are pretty fast and you get out quickly.

Excellent downtown location serving delicious ice cream! The flavors are all listed on the wall but not on the display case so you don't exactly know what you're looking at... I guess you pick what sounds good off the list or point to one that looks good. It's pretty cramped inside, so you'll probably want to grab your treats to go. Extremely Disappointed with the Service at This Location We love Stellas Ice Cream it's one of our favorite places for a family treat. But this visit was a big letdown. The woman serving us had a terrible attitude. Her name is Ashley. She looked like she didn’t want to be there and acted completely disengaged. No smile, no kindness, especially toward my kids, which really left a bad taste in our mouths. We asked for a few samples, like we always do, and she made it feel like a chore. Zero enthusiasm. It’s really sad because we came in expecting a sweet, happy experience, but instead it felt cold and unwelcoming. What makes it worse is that we rarely have bad customer service experiences especially living in Idaho, where people are generally kind and warm. This was not that. Everyone else seemed to be nicer and I know this review has nothing to do with icecream but it is an overall experience.

On Tuesday May 13th at 9:20pm me and my fiancée came to Stella’s after a night out! The ice cream was great but the service was not. We had not been there before so I was asking questions about the cones and flavors . One of the servers was a curly blonde haired boy, he looked at me with a blank stare and gave me a one word answer. Same with his partner when we were checking out. She asked for payment and that was all. So anyways, service sucked but ice cream was great!

Great spot for local ice cream on a hot day. Flavor selection is great and customer service decent. The place was very clean and kept in neat and tidy order. Two of the girls behind the counter were more interested in their conversation instead of dealing with the customer who was right in front of them and ready to order which is why I did not give a 5 star review.

Googling ice cream brought us to Stella's. One scoop of vanilla,$4.75 and there was absolutely no vanilla flavor at all. If you can't get vanilla right...give it up!

Nestled in the heart of downtown, ALAVITA is a charming trattoria that offers a lively and welcoming environment for lunch on weekdays and dinner Monday through Saturday. The restaurant prides itself on using locally and regionally sourced ingredients to create delectable Italian dishes, with a focus on fresh pasta made daily. From squid ink linguini with seafood in spicy arrabiatta sauce to porcini tagliatelle with local mushrooms, each dish is artfully presented.
Amazing food, service and nice convenient location. Our server was very attentive and was able to easily and clearly explain the menu to us and answer all our questions. The make it yourself charcuterie board was amazing, main courses were delicious and I would definitely recommend the Sea Salt Budino to wrap up an amazing dinner. Great place for my Wife's birthday! Thank you!

We loved the food! It’s probably the best Italian food in Boise area. Beef rigatoni was our favorite! Calamari were so yummy too. The arugula salad was so so good! Justin was a great, knowledgeable, friendly server. It was our first time and we enjoyed it.

We came here for my wife's birthday. Amy took such good care of us on our first visit. She was amazing, but so were our food, drinks, and the ambiance! Five stars all around! The best negroni that I have ever had. We both LOVED the grilled artichoke.  She enjoyed the house salad with a very fresh and tart dressing, I LOVED the fennel/apple salad, and I was so pleasantly surprised when I got the rehydrated cherry or a  bite of pistachio. Crispy salmon should be on everyone's bucket list... She disagrees.  She thinks it should be grilled chicken picatta (but she didn't have the salmon!). I also indulged in a draft Peroni, then affogato and Courvoisier VS for dessert... which they served in a heated glass. Another beautiful attention to detail. Everything was beautifully prepared and served. This was an amazing experience, and we are both so glad that we chose Alavita to celebrate my wife's birthday!

I was looking for a place to have dinner for my birthday after our original reservation at another restaurant fell through due to overbooking. We walked into Àlavita and were seated right away. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff was fantastic!

While Italian isn't my normal go-to, we wanted to give it a shot after hearing a lot of great things from our friends. And it was absolutely worth it! There were a lot of options that sounded delicious and we ended up getting: Marinated Olives, Cannellini Hummus, Grilled Artichoke Hearts, and the Black Ravioli. I like a lot of flavorful food and few places actually do much to their olives, but the citrus added a nice element to them and would get them again. Now the hummus was probably the second best that I've had in the entire valley, which I'll always be getting when dining here. And the grilled artichoke hearts were very tasty, too! The venue is beautiful and transports you out of the downtown area, which is really nice. I'm excited to go back and to try some of their other menu options!

We LOVE going here and having drinks and appetizers! This was the chefs take on Italian sashimi. PHENOMENAL. Some of the best service around to boot!

An excellent choice for a date night, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect tone. The food is outstanding—generous portions, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that you can truly taste. Prices are very reasonable for the value you receive, making it easy to enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. The menu has a wide variety of options, ensuring there’s something to please every palate. Combined with attentive service and a thoughtful selection, this restaurant delivers a consistently memorable dining experience worth returning to again and again.

This place is insanely on point. They are not lacking in an areas. Got the artichoke hearts as an app, ravioli for main course and an absolutely phenomenal budino for dessert. Food was excellent all around. Service, changing out silverware and checking in on meal quality was there, very attentive and classy. Clean and pleasant place. Will return.

The Cheesecake Factory is a beloved American chain restaurant that boasts an extensive menu filled with generous portions and a delightful array of signature cheesecakes. With over 200 locations across the country, including spots in Boise and Utah, it’s a go-to destination for dessert lovers. Diners can indulge in unique cheesecake flavors like caramel pecan turtle, Oreo dream extreme, ultimate red velvet, and lemon raspberry cream.
They have a huge menu and something for everyone. A little pricey but my fish and chips were good! I love the huge selection of Cheesecake. It’s fun to see the estimated calories of the dishes on the menu. I’ve gone a few times and I’m sure I’ll be back.

Four of us went for a late birthday lunch. Our server was attentive but the food service was noticeably slow. The food was good, but not exceptional. It tasted good but the portions weren't commensurate with the prices. We ended up getting cheesecake to go because we were there for so long. I'd go back, just to try other menu items, but only for lunch specials or special occasions.

This place is amazing for being a chain. And a great spot for a birthday. You get a free slice of cheesecake. Our servers had a strong cigarette smell, but our sensory adaptation kicked in and we were all good, but THE GREAT SERVICE OVERSHADOWED THAT. The bread and butter combo is awesome, always warm bread. AND if you haveca a little one, they have cut up naners and bread for them GREAT TOUCH and i don't know of a restaurant that does that!!! I got the chicken Madeira: a very heartvand filling dish for my guys with big appetites, the ladles would easily get 2 meals outta this one, maybe more. Shrimp tacos: pretty good, comes with three hefty tacos with a nice veggie sala, yum!! Some other pasta I forgot name, it was ok. Raspberry cheesecake: good and light, gave me wedding cake vibes. Forgot ours: nothing too crazy, don't worry bout it

Quite possible the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. The hostess was a sweetheart, I sadly not get her name. Bella S, my server was also amazing and a sweetheart as well. The steak was perfect, mashed potatoes were amazing and exactly how I make them almost, and the fresh green beans were a perfect combo of soft and crunchy. The cheesecake was absolutely amazing as well. The cook truly did a bang up job on the meal, I'll personally make a drive down 6 hours to experience this restaurant and team again! Whatever you do don't lose that team you have they are phenomenal and worth every penny and then some you pay them if not more. The GM has put together an amazing team both front of the house and back of the house. Recommend dining here anytime you can if you're in Boise.

Great service and a wonderful dinner with desert! We had the Tai chicken wraps, and they were so delicious and fresh! The menu has something for everyone, and the prices are affordable for the amount of food you receive. The cheesecake options are plentiful, and I recommend grabbing a slice! Huge portions on deserts is a nice plus . The restaurant was very clean, and our server was quick and friendly.

The best part of The Cheesecake Factory, aside from the obvious which is cheesecake, is the portions. Every meal was very generous. Food was solid even if it wasn't spectacular. I'd come here again although the lighting isn't great - super dark once the sun goes down.
Joseph P — Google review
We ordered the key lime cheesecake and the Oreo dream extreme cheesecake. I haven’t been here in years so when I looked at some of the pictures of the menu online, I was under the impression that the cheesecakes would be cheaper than we found them to be.Nevertheless here is an honest review: I think both cheesecakes tasted pretty good and the Oreo one was especially rich and delicious! I do however think that there was way too much key lime juice in the key lime cheesecake and it was also too sweet. The sweetness and tartness was so sharp that it almost overwhelmed me. My husband on the other hand loved it. I’ve always felt that these cheesecakes need more of the crust/base as it is severely thin to the point where it’s mostly just the cream cheese filling. Lastly, while these cheesecakes are good some of them are extremely thin and small for the price (like the key lime cheesecake). I feel they should all be the size of the red velvet cheesecake if they’re gonna be that pricey but overall they were tasty!
Khristina S — Google review
I absolutely love their smashburger definitely elevated my taste buds. You might say oh it's just a burger. This burger is what you dream of burgers tasting about! The fries on the other hand, they were soft and soggy, not the best. The their pickles were fire!!!! Customer service was great This time around the first time I went sat out in my car for 45 minutes waiting for someone to come out with my order and when I went in they act like they didn't have curbside pickup which is parking pickup lol. Which if you choose curbside pickup no one will come out so it's just better to go in. Like I said, food was phenomenal.

Fast food restaurant
Westside Drive In is an iconic 50s-themed diner with two locations in Boise, Idaho. Established in 1957 and taken over by Chef Lou in 1993, it offers classic American comfort foods such as burgers, shakes, fries, and steaks. The restaurant's retro setting exudes nostalgia from a bygone era.
Ok, my wife had it planned, and we dropped our bags in the hotel, and she said she knew exactly where we were going to get our first food. My wife is brilliant. I LOVED this place. You need to be in the mood for naughty eats and not classy tablecloth places when you go. If you do that, this place is gold. Apparently, we HAD to try the Finger Steaks, and the baked potato thing. The Finger Steaks were delicious, and probably not low fat. I loved them, and plenty of sauces around for the fries. Even that piece of bread in the picture was tasty. Now to the potato. To be honest, we weren't even sure before we went and when we ordered if the potato was an actual potato, a potato with ice cream on it, or other. It ended up being magical ice cream all around. It was one of those desserts where I ate smaller bites because I knew I would be sad when it was gone. I was right. I WAS sad when it was gone. We debated on making time in our short trip to go back for it, but she won that conversation unfortunately. Anyway, you NEED to stop by here at some point. I highly recommend, and see you there (the next time we are in Boise)...

Large menu, fast service. I got the bologna sandwich and the coco shrimp basket. The bologna sandwich was amazing! What a surprise. It was about 3 dollars! The portions are big and there's plenty of seating outside. I wish I went when I was hungry. I shared the items and I didn't have a craving for burgers or a heavy meal.

Classic drive through/in with some outdoor tables. I got the "Famous idaho ice cream potato" which was fun and good. I love the idea. The Best Finger steaks had some tender beef inside but the breading felt heavy, fries were seasoned and delicious. Mostly self serve from the window. The slice of toast and fortune cookie were unusual add ons.
Trypp A — Google review
No inside seating but tables outside. We went late around 8 and they ran out of baked potatoes. Too many good things on the menu. Recommend cream soda and the Daddy O Burger (2 patties, 2 slices of ham, 4 slices of bacon) it's a lot but worth. You have to get the ice cream potato too so cool! The place was also featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives.

I had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. It was a 6-napkin hamburger. So good! Generous size, bacon perfectly cooked. And less than $10. Amazing! Lots of other menu items to come back for: milkshakes, fish and chips, curly fries and onion rings, meatloaf and prime rib sandwiches. Outdoor seating, so dress accordingly or plan to eat in your car.

Obviously the ice cream potato is the signature here, but they also have a pretty impressive menu for the size of the place. It was my first time having a monte cristo and I thought it was pretty good too.

We are big foodies, and this place was top of my list to check out during our visit to Boise. It did not disappoint. The flavors are punchy, the textures were just right. Really creative combinations as well. Will probably stop here again before we leave because it was that good! Highly recommend. the Malabi brioche bun was a revelation 🤤and the rice pudding croissant was insane.

The pastries were definitely worth the wait. Had to wait outside until line was moving but it wasn’t too long of a wait. The selection was very good. Only reason why it’s a 4 star is their selection in what they serve the coffee in as it was difficult to hold due to it being hot. Overall the experience was great and the pastries tasted out of this world good. Will most definitely make a second trip to this place.

As someone who hunts down the best pastries and sweet treats in every city they visit, Janjou was at the top of my list when visiting Boise. The texture of the laminate pastry was exceptional and each item they craft looks almost too good to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find the coffee also exceeded my expectations; dialed to perfection and with expert level microfoam. I will be dreaming about this place and eager to return when I get the chance!

Wow...passing through Boise and stumbled into Janjou Patisserie.....had the lemon croissant and a latte..... the pastry rivals the best I've had in Paris!! If you come you have to say hello to Coco and Maple, the stores 2 chihuahuas.

Sure it’s not Paris or Nice, but it’s pretty close! Espresso drinks are deliciously divine… servi à la parisienne (bien sûr). The staff is always lovely - friendly and welcoming. A busy little place to be sure… so expect a line, especially on weekends. The worst part? Trying to decide on what to enjoy. It’s almost impossible to leave with just one selection. Luckily, they’ve boxes to accommodate any number of delicacies for enjoyment later whether sharing with friends or simply for yourself.

Very good desserts. Had the hazelnut croissant and tasted exactly like a hazelnut. The croissant itself was very flavorful and had many crispy layers that added to the texture. My sister and grandpa both had the mocha and they liked it a lot as well saying it was the best mocha they had

I usually don’t write review, but this time I just had to. We stopped here for a quick pastry/ lunch grab on our road trip and little cakes looked so good we grabbed some of those too. Cakes were phenomenal. Tropical passion fruit flavor just blew our mind. It was sweet and tart at the same time, but not overwhelming. We just kept says ow wow all the time. It was so good that we actually was thinking to turn around and get some more. Couple hours later we had some savory items we got. Lorraine Brioche is when I’ve decided this place deserve all the amazing reviews in a world. My boyfriend and I loved it cold. Literally all other 3 pastries sweet and savory was gone in a minute. We just couldn’t stop. It was baked to perfection. All of them. Kinda thinking to make trip to Boise again just to go here. Warning, there was a line at the door, but it’s totally worth it.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is a beloved Brooklyn-based chain that specializes in delicious coal-fired brick-oven pizzas and calzones, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers. Located at the Village at Meridian, this casual eatery offers a cozy atmosphere with heated patio dining options. Guests rave about the exceptional service, highlighting friendly staff members who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable experience.
Grimaldi's remains one of the top pizza chains in the country. I've been to quite a few stores and have visited this Boise location three times now, never been disappointed. Better than any other NY-style pizza I've tried in the last decade. Service is always great; Samantha did a great job at the bar. Very polite and professional. Suggestion: try a red sauce pizza with spicy chicken sausage, onions, green peppers, and jalapenos. Life-changing stuff, you'll never go back if you like it spicy! Pro tip: They re-stoke their coal oven every day from 3-4pm (used to be 4-5pm) so you can't get a pizza cooked during that time, but all other menu options are available. Olympic Otter

Such a great place! Our waitress was kind and attentive and the food was delicious. I sadly didn’t snag a photo of the extra pepperoni and hot honey pizza we had, but as someone who doesn’t usually like anything with the word ‘hot’ in it, I was pleasantly surprised!! New lunch spot for when I’m up that way visiting for sure. I mean, the dessert alone would bring me back 😆

Wow! The food was absolutely delicious!! The portions were very large. Tad sad they were out of a few things we wanted, however, they explained how everything was made fresh daily, so we understood. Or server, Brooks, was new but did a great job. We appreciated his attention to detail and making sure our orders and our checks were correct. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Bruschetta Trio appetizer, a custom calzone, and the Brooklyn Bridge Pizza. Mmmm! We took home a, piece of their seasonal Carmel Apple Cheesecake, and are looking forward to trying it later this evening. We will definitely be back!

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the staff acted unprofessional, inattentive, and flat-out disrespectful. When we arrived on Friday, 8/29 around 8:30pm, the host didn’t even look at us for several minutes—just stared at the computer, no greeting, no smile, nothing. When she finally spoke, all she said with a blank face was, “Just two?” She then disappeared for nearly 10 minutes before coming back and telling us to “just sit at the bar.” At the bar, things somehow got worse. We sat there for 20 minutes—timed on my phone—without being acknowledged. No water, no greeting, nothing. I even asked the host if someone was going to help us, but she was too busy glued to her phone to care. When the bartender finally came over, the first words out of her mouth were not “Hi, how are you” or any form of greeting. Instead, it was a cold “IDs please.” That was her opener after 20 minutes of being ignored. I’ve been a bartender for over a decade, and this approach is the definition of terrible service. I told her I didn’t have a physical ID on me, and instead of handling the situation professionally, she immediately barked: “I can’t serve you, I’ll lose my job.” Not once, not twice—she repeated this phrase over and over like a broken record. No empathy, no tact, no effort to find a solution. Just excuses. At that point, I told her to stop repeating herself and to focus on what she could do. But that didn’t matter, because once we moved to a table, she ignored us again for another 10 minutes. We eventually left because we were literally abandoned by the staff. The restaurant was NOT busy. This was not a matter of being short-staffed—it was a matter of pure neglect, zero communication, and employees who clearly do not care about their jobs. Pull your cameras between 8:30–9:15pm that night if you doubt this. This was disgusting and unacceptable. My company was considering using this place for catering, but after this disaster we went with Chicago Fire instead. This staff—especially the bartender—desperately needs training on customer service, conflict resolution, and basic professionalism. An absolute joke of an experience. Never again.

Until about a year ago we greatly enjoyed eating at Grimaldi's once or twice a week. The pizza was great and the staff very great. There was a change in the crust. It has been rubber like. What happened something changed. We occasionally stop in and one time the crust was almost back to great. We miss eating at this restaurant could you determine what you changed and correct the crust situation.

Great place. We got drinks 🍹 and the margarita pizza with a side of their hot honey 🍯 sauce. Delicious 😋 We ate outside on the patio which sits next to the big water fountain at the Village in meridian. So we had a great dinner and a mini water show with music 🎶 Great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been here plenty of times and love their pizza. Today, we were seated and waited 10 minutes before getting up and leaving because no one ever came to take our order. A group of people were seated 5 minutes after us, had their drinks taken 2 minutes after sitting and 5 min had their order in , that was all the reason to get up and leave. Still a good pizza spot to sit on the patio but service wise, today wasn’t the day they had their service together.
Miguel J — Google review
I sat for about 10 minutes before getting helped, but when we did, everything was 12/10. My wife and I split a Caesar salad and a 16-inch pizza. The atmosphere and staff were great. We got the pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert! 10/12/2024

I visited Freddy’s for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. The food? Absolutely delicious! The steakburgers were juicy and flavorful, and the frozen custard was the perfect sweet treat to top it all off. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and served quickly. I never thought to try Freddy's until I received a free burger coupon. The burger was excellent! I was very shocked how delicious it tasted. The tiny shoe string fries tasted good; however, I would rather have a normal sized fry. I also got a frozen custard and it was unfavorable. It unfortunately ruined the greatness of the entire dinner. The teenage staff was friendly. Overall an amazing burger but, that's about it.

This was our first time to Sushi Joy. The menu was a little overwhelming because they have so much different food! The sushi, made by Lee, was AMAZING!! He is a master at making sushi. It was so fresh! We will definitely go here again!
Shari W — Google review
On 7/28/23, KM and I visited Sushi Joy in Boise for dinner. We had visited a couple of times before, but it had been several years. During past visits, we had excellent food and service. Sushi Joy has been around for 12+ years. The original owners were from Boston, where they had a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Approx. six years ago, one of their chefs, Mr. Lee, took over the business. The menu remained the same. Sushi Joy is able to do a great job providing two separate cuisines, because they have 5 chefs, including 2 sushi chefs, each with their own areas of expertise. KM and I ordered 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, and dessert. We ate family-style: Pu Pu Platter for 1 ($16.95) – 2 Egg Rolls, 2 Crab Rangoon, 2 Chicken Fingers, 2 Fried Shrimp, Pork and Seeds. It was served with Duck sauce and hot mustard. I asked for a small side of ketchup. Everything was excellent! The eggrolls were delicious! The crab Rangoon were nicely stuffed. The shrimp and chicken fingers were perfectly fried. The pork was nicely cooked. General Tso’s Chicken ($14.95) - Crispy fried chunks of chicken in house special sauce. They use white meat chicken that is lightly battered. This is a dish we ordered on a previous visit. It is excellent! It is the best version of this dish that we have ever had. House Special Fried Rice ($13.95) - This fried rice is chock-full of delicious meat and vegetables! It was excellent! Sizzling Green Pepper Beef ($14.95) - Tender beef, onions, green pepper, celery, and carrots, cooked with black bean sauce. This was the only dish neither of us cared for. The beef and vegetables were perfectly cooked, but we found it a bit too salty. Walnut Shrimp ($15.95) - Fried shrimp with caramelized walnuts in a sweet creamy sauce. This is a dish we ordered on a previous visit. It was excellent! For dessert, we ordered 4 flavors of Mochi Ice Cream ($11) - Green Tea, Mango, Red Bean, and Vanilla + Lychee Ice Cream ($5.50). I love mochi ice cream and I’m a bit of an ice cream fanatic. These were not the best mochi ice creams I’ve ever had, but they were pretty good. Our favorite flavor was mango, followed by green tea, and red bean. Neither of us liked the vanilla mochi ice cream, which had a grainy texture. We both enjoyed the Lychee ice cream, which was more like a sorbet. Our dinner at Sushi Joy was so stellar that I asked, “Why would we ever want to go anyplace else for Chinese food?” KM agreed. If you’re looking for a good Chinese food in Idaho, be sure to check out Sushi Joy! Highly Recommended!!!

This place is OUR GO TO for take out! We have tried many Chinese restaurants around town and by far this our favorite. The chicken pad tai is so good. It has so much flavor. My husband loves the Mongolian beef it also has so much flavor. The price for the food is perfect and we even have leftovers for the next day! I love the chicken fried rice got it for the first time today! You have to give this place a try. You won’t regret it. Service was fast and we just ordered online and it was all ready when we got there! So nice! Thank you!!!

Guru Donuts, located in Boise, offers a variety of made-from-scratch donuts with flavors ranging from classic to creative. Options include the four-hour yeasted maple bar and the old fashioned cake donut, as well as unique creations like the 'hipsterberry' and the 'lucky charmer,' which is topped with a rainbow belt. Vegan options are also available.
Just loved hanging out on a cold January morning. I had a delicious avocado toast and a large mocha which was out of this world! The two gals that worked here were friendly and welcoming. And avocado toast was extraordinary. Would definitely come back here again. They have a large space and it’s conducive to kids too. Highly recommend this establishment. The donuts looked exceptional and they’re all specialty. There are gluten-free options with potato donuts, which I love.

Absolutely delicious!! The gluten free donuts were so light and fluffy it almost makes you concerned they mixed them up with regular donuts! Cute shop and nice workers. The service was very slow and I had to wait in line for over 20 minutes but very tasty! They don’t change gloves or anything though so there is lots of cross contamination.

My sister and I stopped in while visiting Boise for a couple of days. The donuts were fabulous - such great choices! The staff were all helpful and friendly and the space itself is fun and a great place to just hang around. I loved the pistachio and my sister loved her bananas foster donut.
J. C — Google review
Is it normal for a donut shop to break up your donut just to make it fit in a box? Like… did they run out of smaller boxes for three large donuts, or was this a creative choice? To make things even better, I ordered a chocolate old-fashioned. Maybe I confused the cashier when I asked him to change his gloves after handling cash? They definitely had larger boxes sitting right there—but hey, maybe those are reserved for people classy enough to only order two donuts.

It has been forever since I have had a donut from Guru. I don't think I have been in since the remodel. Guru was a hit at my wedding! Instead of cake I had a variety of donuts. Everyone couldn't get enough of them. It was later in the afternoon when I stopped in. I was in the area. I wanted a sweet treat so it was only common sense to come in. Since it was later in the afternoon, there were still a couple donut options available but not a lot. A couple sprinkled donuts, chocolate glazed rounds, chocolate bars and some coconut ones. Honestly, they all still looked hella good. I snagged a small chocolate glazed donut. It had fun sprinkles on top. The shop was getting ready to close in about 30. I sat at the window and smashed out my donut. I'm sure it was made this morning but it was still soft. It tasted so good! I probably could have had a couple more but I only needed one. I don't remember the donuts being as small as they are. This donut was pretty small but the ones I've had in the past seemed bigger. It has been a while since I have been in so I could be wrong. Eating that donut today brought me back to my wedding day. I can vividly remember how excited everyone was grabbing a donut from the "cake" table. It's amazing how something as simple as a donut could make someone relive some of their best memories. I'm happy I stopped in today. It was a great way to add a little happiness to my day.
Dani S — Google review
Overall this place is great! Great service and lots of seating. Only giving it 4/5 stars though because I didn’t love the chocolate donut that I ordered (a little too dark chocolate-y for me but maybe someone else will like it).
Kate E — Google review
OMG! This pace may have over done themselves! Gluten free and not just one flavor which is extraordinary for me!!! They are cake fried doughnuts and oh so moist! The only flaw is they are a hopping spot so you may need to wait a sec in line but so worth it! Sorry I didn’t snag a pic of my gluten free healthy doughnut or my sea salt chocolate doughnut gluten free… they did separate the regular doughnuts from the rest! It did not disappoint!

Yummy doughnuts! While buying just donuts I noticed a sign that says you can get a coffee, donut, and any breakfast item for just $10! But I had just paid twice that for breakfast and coffee right across the street.

Italian restaurant
Vincenzo Trattoria is a cozy Italian restaurant in Boise that offers an authentic dining experience. The owner, Vincenzo, ensures that guests feel like they're in Italy with great food, charming ambiance, and reasonable prices. The chef hails from Rome and prepares freshly made pasta dishes that are simply phenomenal. While the wine selection is extensive, the beer options are limited.
A wonderful experience at Vincenzo’s! The customer service was incredible! The waitstaff was very attentive and the overall vibe was very friendly and accommodating! The food is all made in house and you can tell!! The flavors are so fresh! We had the lasagna and the pasta dish with meatballs. Very yummy! We would definitely order again! 10/10 recommend Vincenzo’s to itch your craving of traditional Italian cuisine!

The food was GREAT, wine was good but the atmosphere & people made our whole night amazing! The wait staff were so helpful & accommodating. Natasha & Colton are the real deal. We will definitely be back!

We hadn’t been to Vincenzo’s in several years and decided to give it another try last night. With the new ownership, the level of hospitality has truly stepped up. We ran about 10 minutes late for our reservation, and when I called, they assured me it was no problem — even though there were people waiting for tables when we arrived. I really appreciated that they still honored our reservation and welcomed us warmly. Our server was attentive, checking in often to make sure everything was just right. The owner, Colton, was engaged with guests, serving, chatting, offering suggestions, and making everyone feel at home. Chef Heidi’s dishes were outstanding. My friend ordered the meatballs (something I usually avoid), but they were absolutely delicious. We also had the fritto misto, zucchini fritters, fettuccine and veal, all fantastic dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate — perfect for a date night. Between the warm hospitality, excellent food, and inviting setting, Vincenzo’s has become a spot I’ll happily return to.
Laura B — Google review
I obviously really enjoyed this place. We had diavola pizza, which was a wonderfully done Neapolitan style, not spicy, so I maybe would add some red pepper flakes or something, but no complaints. The pesto pasta with breaded chicken, the pesto was great and there was enough to enhance the chicken with some remaining to be sopped up by the delicious warm bread that was served. Besides the food, the place is nicely decorated. It is in a strip mall type thing, but I find more and more that is just the way it goes and my odds of success for finding a gem are as good as anywhere. Ownership changed, and while this place had been on my list for years, I never experienced the previous experience. I can say the new owners seemed great. They are both there (probably everyday?), and have taken some time to introduce their ideas very successfully in my opinion. Highly recommend you try it out.
Eric E — Google review
We were looking for a good Italian restaurant and Vincenzo Trattoria came highly recommended with great reviews. The ambiance was great and felt very traditional. Our waitress was good but at times it felt awkward. We started off with the calamari. At first sight, it looked amazing, but the breading and sauce were oddly bland and lacked salt and citrus. The carbonara was good, the noodles were cooked Al dente, but the flavor was 6/10 and lacked a wow factor. The chicken cutlets were tiny pieces of pan fried chicken that had a lot of flavor, there was just very little of it. The rigatoni ciciliana looked great, but still just kind of bland again. The tirimasu came out kind of like a blob onto the plate. The flavor was reminiscent of a tirimasu, but lacked a bold flavor. The cannoli came with 2 options. Both options, the filling was out flavored by the flavoring of the pastry. Overall, it was a 6 out of 10 if we had to give it a score just based on the food. The restaurant itself was beautiful and staff seemed very friendly.

We have been coming to Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant for many years and have always had amazing food and excellent service! When the ownership changed, we were a little concerned, but Colton, the new owner, encouraged us to come check it out and we were not even slightly disappointed! Colton and his staff are professional and incredibly personable!!! We come twice a year when we visit the area to pick out wine and each time, he not only remembers us but makes us feel like family!!! The food is prepared perfectly and their unique flavors make it extra special!!!! The restaurant is not large, so the setting is more intimate than other restaurants, so it would be a great choice for a special occasion or when just getting together with good friends!!!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed w our first experience dining here. It was a birthday dinner w some friends of ours. I ordered the ravioli special that arrived w four very small, slightly chewy ravioli and a brown sauce that was absolutely over salted. Guest of honor was delivered the wrong order but decided to keep it as our server never came back to check on us after delivery and the entree was similar to what she ordered. She didn't finish her meal or choose to take it home as it was also very salty. My husband was disappointed in his lasagna and mentioned the meats listed on the menu seemed to be lacking. Our fourth diner did enjoy his pasta w vodka sauce entree. Our server was very sweet but not once came to check on us or remove our plates long after we finished our meal. We weren't given any dessert plates so we could cut and serve our cake until we asked another server running by. She was kind enough to bring us three not four plates, but maybe there was a plate shortage at the time, it happens. We really felt that for the higher than average cost of a small portion, meatless pasta dish, that a small salad would have been a nice addition to balance out the meal. I'm really sorry it did not work out for us.

I swung by this place again after being away for a few years, and wow, the new owners have completely transformed what was already an awesome restaurant. They've really upped their game when it comes to both the quality and the whole vibe of the place. The new chef they brought in is the business - the food has been taken to a whole other level. Everything I tried was absolutely incredible, and you can tell they're putting real thought and care into every dish. The flavours, presentation, technique, it's all just so much better than before, and that's saying something because I already loved coming here. I'm definitely going to be making this a regular weekly spot. 10/10, no question.

Visitors can expect a warm welcome upon arrival and have the option to bring in outside purchases while enjoying the diverse offerings available. Additionally, the cafe takes into consideration dietary preferences by offering gluten-free options.
Satisfied my sweet tooth with the chocolate lovers crepe. This was a pretty massive portion for a late night treat but I’ll happily finish the leftovers for breakfast. Very tasty, very chocolatey. Cashier/cook was upbeat and friendly and the shop had a very chill vibe. The art on the walls was pretty cool to look at. Maybe maybe if the plates were plain white instead of the grocery store pattern it would feel even more charming. Nitpicking because this food was delicious so let’s get everyone to post it on Instagram.

I do not know how this place gets any "real" 5 star reviews unless they are people that know them or the employees are writing them. The place needs a thorough cleaning, the food is overpriced and not really worth it and did not taste fresh. I think the owner or employees use this place for a social club and do not care about customer service or keeping the place clean which speaks volumes on what ever is happening with food safety. Please clean up your business and take a little pride in appearance and customer service instead of having a lot of 5 star reviews that appear to be false from people to offset the real experiences at this establishment. If you do not believe this review just check the cleanliness and experience for yourself. Many of the 1 star reviews & under 3 are very accurate, just check them out! check out the pic of cooking area posted earlier and plexi-glass & metal frame, food prep, refrigerated storage, box underneath, food sitting out, surfaces, so many areas that need attention for cleanliness just dirty

Friendly greeting upon entering. I apologized for having my coffee he said no problem you can bring in purchases from other places as you purchase along there, for there are many choices. This place has best and GLUTEN FREE MOST ITEMS now you don't see that in alot of places especially a place that sells crepes. Clean, friendly, upbeat and the food has such FLAVOR oh so Yummy. I had the Thai crepe. The beautiful aroma and taste complete the savory of the chicken and spice was 1 so perfect. I would have this again and repeatedly. My sons had salmon the other son had ham and cheese both were delighted with there selections not a bite left. I did have leftovers as they are filling. Want a date night or a fun lunch give it a try. Relax and have fun you can even enjoy weather and eat outside.

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I have recently realized gluten is an issue for us. I saw a review that said this place has gluten free options and they weren't kidding! On their whole menu only two options are not available gluten free, and seriously you can't even tell. The flavors were amazing! The owner and chefs were so sweet and courteous about explaining and recommending flavors to us and you should just tell they love what they do. I cannot recommend more. We for a savory and a sweet and 2 shakes, and we didn't regret a moment. It was just the treat we were looking for and will definitely go back!

Delicious food! Great pricing especially for portion sizes. Went with a group of three, we cleaned our plates and absolutely loved it! It’s a great spot if you’re looking for something light, delicious, and many sweet or savory options. The employee was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. He showed a lot of love for what he does and we had a great time there.

The food here is SO good, but man — something weird seems to happen every time I go. The first time, a lady with an iPad doing movie reviews ended up taking over our entire 45-minute lunch with questions, so we couldn’t even eat in peace. Then today we waited almost an hour for our food while everyone else around us was getting theirs and they were busy cranking out DoorDash orders before their physical customers at the shop. This place has so much potential, if maybe they hired faster not as lazy of workers (that don’t make their own crepes for themselves and eat it in the back before completing their customers orders first) and maybe the right manager that wouldn’t let any of this slide , it’s just very unorganized but the food is great I love it

Ice cream shop
Delsa's Ice Cream Parlour is a bustling, award-winning shop that offers homemade ice cream, burgers, and classic bites in a retro setting. What began as an 80-acre dairy farm transformed into an iconic ice cream parlour and diner thanks to Mrs. Delsa Walton's dedication to creating delicious treats for the neighborhood kids. With over 130 flavors available, there's something for everyone at Delsa's.
Loved the throwback vibe of this place! We wanted to try the Idaho finger steaks and Delsa's famous ice cream, so we made a trip to both locations (we got ice cream at the Meridian one... very tasty!!). This location has a lot of personality. The outdoor seating is inviting, and the indoor seating is classic red booth dining. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, seated, served drinks, and given menus. Super friendly staff! Our waiter was attentive and efficient. The food was tasty! Between us, we tried the fish and chips, a cheeseburger, curly fries, and finger steaks. The restaurant was clean, and while the bathroom wasn't the greatest, it's just old. An update would probably be a good move. Overall, glad we stopped in!

Rather disappointed: We ordered for pickup and were as detailed as possible on what we wanted. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and Philly cheesesteak and specifically asked for both of them to be extra toasted. They both weren’t toasted at all and the bacon cheeseburger was extremely soggy for some reason. I am assuming the tomatoes might be the culprit but it could also be due to the buns not being toasted. The patty also needed a few extra minutes on the grill and also could have used more seasoning (or some extra salt). The curly fries weren’t bad but they reminded me of store bought frozen curly fries. The fry sauce in my opinion isn’t great because it tastes like horseradish which I dislike. On the brighter side the onion rings weren’t too bad.

Desla's is under new ownership and the new owner is just hitting it out of the park! The staff was friendly and engaging, the place was the cleanest diner I've ever been in, and there were fresh-picked flowers on every table! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, my wife just ordered tater-tots (as she is a vegetarian and wasn't hungry enough to order the veggie burger, which I've heard is delicious). The burger was huge and there were so many fries/tots that between the two of us we couldn't finish it all (we wanted to save room for ice cream!). The service was fast and all of the food tasted very fresh. After barely being able to finish the burger (which was cooked just perfectly) and my fries, I decided that I had JUST enough room for ice cream. The ice cream is made on site and was absolutely delicious! They let me taste several varieties, but I decided on good-old chocolate. Just 100% yummy. It's obvious that the new staff/owners are doing everything right. All of this for the same price I would have paid at some brand-name, fast food joint with no soul. 10/10 would recommend. If you're in the area, stop by. Heck, if you're across town, take the trip and go. You won't be disappointed.

Goldy's Corner is a popular breakfast and brunch spot in Boise, known for its upscale All-American breakfast options and giant cinnamon rolls. The cafe has a bright and charming atmosphere, making it a great place for a romantic morning meal. With its eclectic decor and nationally-recognized status, Goldy's Corner offers delicious dishes like benedicts and create-your-own combo platters. Additionally, the cafe features a take-a-book, leave-a-book program, adding to its cozy appeal.
I’ve exhausted myself trying coffee/pastry shops all over Eagle and Meridian area with nothing standing out as being truly outstanding so I did a google search for Boise, looked at the number of reviews and decided to drive to Goldy’s Corner which was way out of my way but the number of reviews convinced me to try it. I bought the blueberry lemon scone. So far it has been one of the better scones with the most flavor. The texture was spot on, the blueberries were visible (plenty of blueberries) and the lemon drizzle had a very nice lemony taste. Most other shops I find the lemon drizzle to be weak and does not add any lemon flavor.

I've been in three times in a row recently every single time I got my food it's been cold every time. It seems like one staff members happy to be there the rest area like inconvenience by you even being there to order in the first place. It sucks cuz I've lived in Boise for a while and this place didn't used to be like that at all. Had to eaty zucchini bread then take my burrito to go so I could heat it at home.

Came specifically for breakfast. Prob more like 3.5, it was pretty good but being next to and co-owned by Goldys I expected more. The sausage burrito was pretty good and the cinnamon roll huge but also just pretty good. We may come back for mimosas but not a food destination.

We ordered to-go: a cinnamon roll, veggie and bacon breakfast casseroles, plus an Italian soda. Drinks were great! The cinnamon roll was big and tasty—though I personally prefer more cinnamon and buttery flavor. The breakfast casseroles were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, a mixed experience.

Cute shop, delicious food, & helpful people! I called ahead to ask if they had gluten free items. The lady listed them for me. I enjoyed a slice of gluten free banana bread and a hazelnut steamer, made with almond milk (lactose free). I also took a gluten free lemon bar home. It was delicious! What a treat. My daughter very much enjoyed some sort of fudge covered Brownie and an Italian soda. They're kitty corner from a parking garage, so we stopped in to enjoy some goodies and were still out within our free hour if parking.

Ate there yesterday, 3/24. Nice little place, fairly busy. Coffees, smoothies, breads, muffins, etc. the bread was great. Bread and coffee was a bit over $6. The hand scribed menu boards were kind of hard to read for old eyes. Not a bad place for a morning snack.

Russian restaurant
Alyonka Russian Cuisine in Boise offers an intimate dining experience with outdoor seating, serving up authentic Russian dishes prepared to perfection. The menu features classic Russian favorites like borsht, beef stroganoff, and piroshkis, as well as delicacies such as the exquisite Shuba. Owned and operated by Elena DeYoung, who hails from the former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan, this cozy restaurant is a gem in the Boise dining scene.
This place is easily one of the best restaurants in Boise. The staff is very friendly and the space is intimate and tasteful. The food is outstanding without being overly reliant on salt or oil. The natural flavors of the ingredients are brought out in each dish and are complimented well by the generous dill and green onion garnish. Definitely get the cabbage rolls if they are available! The tomato sauce it comes with is incredible with the rice.

My husband and I stopped in on a whim and we started with the iced Hibiscus tea which was delicious! Please if you’re going to get a drink that’s non alcoholic let it be this one! So refreshing! We ordered the beef stroganoff and Elena’s favorite dish (chicken cutlets) everything was seriously so perfectly flavored. The host was nice and knowledgeable. 100% will be returning.

Wow what a great meal! We heard about Alyonkas on DDD and saved it for future trips. Finally made it here today- so delicious! We had the veggie and caviar blini, borscht, the lamb plof, and the vareniki- all amazing. Authentic, fresh and did I mention delicious? We will be back next time we are in Boise. Just go, this place is a gem.

Fantastic food. Very personable service. Just in case, make reservations. They only have a few tables inside, but when sunny, there are more seats outside on the patio. Expect to leave FULL. Most of the menu is rich & authentic. Where else can you order a beef stroganoff with choice of buckwheat? Make sure to get hibiscus tea, which tastes like healthy Kool-Aid, & the beet salad. Listen to the server when she recommends how to eat the beef dumpling (with broth). The blini is more like a large crepe you open up & fill. But fair warning, it's all you need. Shaved beet salad may sound blah, but it's garlicky mayo goodness grows on you. I could eat just this with the tea & be fulfilled.

Disappointed with the food here. Really wanted to like it after hearing so many good things, but just didn’t live up to the hype/standard. To start, the Chebureki was an appetizer with good fried bread, but the inner meat tasted like a previous frozen Salisbury steak. Not flavored and very small portion. The beef stroganoff was just okay. Nothing to call home about and could get something just as good from the frozen aisle in the grocery store. The Pelmeni was similar meat (if not the same) as the Chebureki. It was unseasoned and tasted a bit gamey perhaps. It was a small portion that was very average or below. The recommend Russian drink was bready and a bit tangy? It was not my favorite. This is likely just a regional preference, so not holding this against Alyonka. However, the rest of the meal really missed the mark. 2 star - Not great, lower value

Absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of bringing home food from Alyonka Russian Cuisine and was blown away by the flavors and quality. The Beef Stroganoff was creamy and rich—classic comfort food done right. The Chebureki was slightly greasy but incredibly flavorful, and the Honey Cake was light and satisfying. The real standout was the Pavlova—perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and truly superb. I also tried Alyonka’s Favorite Assorted Desserts, a heavenly sampler that offered a taste of everything sweet and wonderful. This place is a gem—highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, satisfying Russian cuisine! I shared a tiny bit of the Stroganoff with my dog, Richard, and he gave it 5 paw prints!

Ordered they famous honey cake, and assorted dessert box - which includes honey cake, Royal chocolate ganache poppy seed cake, lemon mousse, and baked Russian cookies. The honey cake was very unique, I hadn’t tried this flavour before. The ganache poppy seed cake was SO GOOD. Definitely going back to try their food menu. Update - went back in person and had their salad sampler platter. The smoked Gouda cheese was delicious. The beets and the marinated carrots was decent but not extraordinary IMO. The hibiscus drink was refreshing in the hot summer.

Cinnaholic is a delightful, modern bakery that redefines the sweet treat experience with its entirely plant-based offerings. Nestled in the chic Village shopping area, this unique spot invites you to indulge in customizable cinnamon rolls, brownies, and cookies. Whether you're on a romantic outing or enjoying family time, Cinnaholic provides an engaging atmosphere where creativity meets deliciousness. With a sleek design reminiscent of trendy donut shops and an array of mouthwatering toppings for your rolls, every visit promises something special.
Busy but day after Thanksgiving! Tasty! There was only one worker and doing the best she could I’m sure- but a lot of grumpy and outspoken impatient people - we were thankful she was working. Others should have more empathy.

Been here a couple of times, and so far every roll, (each with different toppings) has been delicious. I highly recommend the Very Berry. They have some classic recipes for you to choose from or you can create your own with all the different array of toppings. I will mention that this last time we were in there it was closer to closing time and the roll we got was not as soft as other times. Also I agree with some of the other reviews, when working with food hair nets or tightly pulled back hair is a good idea. No indoor seating, which is fine because you will find plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is nice or indoor seating right across in front of the store where other food options are available including a coffee shop to go along your roll.

Their old school roll with orange frosting and strawberries in top is my favorite! It's refreshing and light! The cinnamon rolls don't leave you feeling heavy they are perfection! I wish they were closer to where I live!
Bird F — Google review
Tucked away in the fancy, glamourous Village (outdoor shopping mall decked out with Christmas scenery and lights at this time of year), you'll find this plant-based bakery that provides a variety of tempting cinnamon rolls that would give non-vegan rolls a run for their money. POSITIVES: The ambiance is very modern and inviting. It feels much like a donut shop at first, with a counter/register and a simple glass display of a handful of their creations. The customer has the liberty to build-your-own rolls from an abundant list of toppings and frosting options. They also provide a sizable menu of pre-created options, with diverse yet complementary toppings. Doesn't matter whether you are a fruit or chocolate lover, they'll hook you up. They also have edible cookie dough, and a MASSIVE brownie, not to mention other treats in case you're not feeling a cinnamon roll. NEGATIVES: to an extent, looks can be quite deceiving. The toppings/frosting were the saving grace, as the cinnamon roll itself was quite bland. The portion size overall was big, but the ratio of roll-to-toppings was nonproportional, with the average quality cinnamon roll outweighing the frosting and toppings. It is a bit on the expensive side, and while you get quite the special treatment due to providing vegan-friendly options, the taste doesn't necessarily redeem it. VERDICT: it was decent, worth a shot on a date night. The elaborate designs on these rolls and customizable toppings are quite the "eye candy". But suffice to say that after eating here, I wouldn't consider myself a cinnaholic.

Tons of cinna buns options and they’re on sugar roids. It’s an all vegan location. Get ready for your sugar taste buds to take a hike! Very clean, fast, and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable

We LOVE Cinnaholic! Our 3 year-old has a severe egg allergy, and it is so hard to find good baked desserts that are safe for her. We discovered Cinnaholic back in 2019 and ordered a birthday "cake" for her first birthday, and we have loved them ever since. We recently ordered half a dozen to send with her to school to celebrate her fourth birthday, and they turned out as amazing as always. We love the vast variety of toppings and icings available, and every single one we've ever tried has tasted incredible. Whenever we order fruit toppings, it has always been super fresh. And although the icing tends to melt off the rolls if left for too long, it is absolutely delicious and I honestly can't even tell it's vegan by the taste. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and efficient with our orders. I also appreciate the affordability, which has really influenced us to enjoy it more frequently. Even if you're not exclusively vegan, and even if you don't have allergies, I highly recommend trying Cinnaholic!

This experience was a disaster. I never write reviews but I feel a civil responsibility to. This is what happened. My first time going to Cinnaholic was amazing. I went to the Greensboro, NC location on Christmas Eve last year, ordered the Very Berry Roll, and was very impressed. The 2nd photo is a reference photo. This time, I went to the Meridian, ID location and I have only one thing to say: I am deeply ashamed and felt humiliated for recommending this place to my fiancé’s family. This cinnamon rolls we all ordered came in very messy and does not look like my first experience. The first photo looks like they rushed my cinammon roll. I will not be going to this store anymore due to it’s inconsistency in service.

The buns a really yum and the customer service was great! I wouldn't afford to have these everyday for sure but once in a blue moon I'd probably feel ok to splurge $13 on two cinnamon buns.

Nestled in the vibrant BoDo! district, The Warehouse Food Hall is a culinary gem that brings together an impressive array of food options under one roof. This lively food hall features 20 diverse stalls, offering everything from classic pizza and poke to unique delights like lobster rolls and barbecue. It's a perfect spot for food lovers seeking variety without straying too far from familiar favorites.
Had a fantastic time at this food hall! There’s something for everyone with a variety of options like Mexican, BBQ, Japanese, burgers, and Italian – all delicious and freshly made. Our fav was the Mexican food. The two beer bars have an impressive selection, perfect for pairing with the diverse food offerings. There’s plenty of seating, making it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The only downside is that there isn’t a dedicated area for little ones, which would have been nice. Overall, a great spot for food lovers looking to try a bit of everything!

Well, didn’t eat here but the decor is fabulous. Puts to shame the food halls back home! Main entrance looks like it’s on 8th Street. Before you go in, look down at the brick and you will see an interesting art installation.

OK, this was AWESOME!! I will be going again as often as I can get to Boise. It is a great model. Like an upscale food court. Fun atmosphere and just a great place to sit and eat. We had the smash burgers and they were phenomenal and affordable! It's a definite must when down by the Idaho State Capitol building!!

June 2025 I stopped in to The Warehouse to get a juice at Rush Bowl. Overall it is still a good looking place with several food choices. Unfortunately, Waffle Love has left. But Rush Bowl was good. Oct 2024 The Warehouse Food Hall is like a shopping mall food court without the mall! Italian Coffee, Pizza, Chicken & Waffles, Asian bowls, smashed burgers, BBQ, Mexican, drinks and more.

Lots of food and bar options. Great for a group where you cannot decide on where everyone wants to go eat. We chose BBQ. It was pretty good. 4 sauce options were available. The gentleman helping us was very friendly.

My only complaint about this place is the loud music both indoor and outdoor. You can't get a quiet spot. The indoor acoustics with all the patrons talking and the music going on is too much sensory overload. I love all the food choices here! You can take a group and everyone can grab what they want.

Sunshine Spice Bakery & Cafe, owned by the Sham sisters, is Boise's first Afghan bakery and cafe that infuses saffron into a variety of pastries, puddings, cookies, coffees and teas. It offers a unique breakfast experience with popular items like pistachio baklava and saffron cookies. The cafe also features original artwork by the owners on its walls. Customers praise the exceptional service and recommend trying the saffron pudding and Turkish coffee for a delightful experience.
Sunrise Spice Cafe is an absolute gem! The coffee was smooth and satisfying, but the Baklava completely stole my heart — flaky, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. The entire place is incredibly well-organized, and the customer service is top-notch. You can truly feel the care and passion in everything they do. I absolutely love this place, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Boise, do yourself a favor and let Sunrise Spice Cafe serve you. You won’t regret it!

Such a cute spot in Boise to enjoy coffee and dessert! Sunshine Spice Café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant. We tried the Purple Ube Coffee, Pistachio Coffee, and a Matcha Latte—all beautifully presented in porcelain cups with a tiny silver spoon. Not only were the drinks delicious and unique, but the attention to detail in presentation really stood out. A lovely place to relax, catch up with friends, or treat yourself to something a little different. Highly recommend!

An adorable bakery with delicious pastries and drinks! Staff was so friendly and helpful. All of their pastries looked so good it was hard to choose just one. Lots of drink options - so many fun flavors for lattes! Inside is very cute and clean with lots of seating options. We ended up getting the saffron pudding to go because I kept staring at it. Highly recommend going here for pastries or coffee or a sweet treat!

I work next door to their secondary location. I have enjoyed their coffee and masala tea. The vibe down there is chill and the ladies that work there are nice. I was in the area so I decided to stop in and grab an afternoon drink. It was later in the day so it was pretty chill. It was just a couple and myself. I really wanted to try their black sesame latte. It sounded kind of fun to try! But unfortunately it was not available. So after go over their drink menu again, I decided on the saffron tea. My tea came out in a pretty cup with a dainty spoon. I have never had saffron tea before so I didn't know what to expect. It tasted earthy. It was rich in golden color. I did add some honey to it and it was a nice addition to it. I can see myself appreciating this tea that much more if it was colder outside. I enjoyed the venue for a bit and grab a to go cup to take the rest with me. It was nice coming in and grabbing my tea. It was also great supporting a locally woman owned business. I will have to definitely come back and try their highly spoken about dumplings and that black sesame latte.

Such a gem to have. The coffee is excellent with interesting options such as pistachio (my favorite) and ube lattes. The pastries are delicious and so fun to try. My absolute favorite is the dumplings. You have to try the dumplings. It comes with bread and is a perfect savory lunch. I highly recommend Sunshine Spice!

This is a really cute café that has some unique flavors such as saffron pudding. I got two amereti cookies, one coconut and one beet. They were the only gluten free goodies here. Then I ordered a coconut milk hot chocolate with a little orange flavor. They were all very tasty. The person at the counter was very nice and the service was great. Definitely recommend. They offer almond, oat and coconut milk and a variety of teas and lattes along with their baked goods. Try it out! Plus, I mean look at that cute spoon. 🙂

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dessert experience, look no further than Nothing Bundt Cakes. This charming franchise bakery specializes in handcrafted bundt cakes that are perfect for any occasion. Their Easter assortment of Bundtinis offers 12 bite-sized treats topped with their signature cream cheese frosting, featuring flavors like Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Red Velvet, and White Chocolate Raspberry—ideal for satisfying even the most intense sweet cravings after a hearty meal.
I don’t understand all the bad reviews. I’ve always had great experiences here. I’ve ordered birthday cakes in the past and love stopping by for mini Bundt cakes whenever I’m craving something sweet. The Meridian location is my favorite. I went again yesterday, and Austin was so friendly and helpful. I’m really glad they’ve hired such great staff. That used to be my only complaint, since some of the previous employees weren’t very pleasant. The new team is super nice and makes the experience even better!
Glennah M — Google review
I’ve always loved Nothing Bundt Cakes, but the Eagle location in Meridian, ID has been a letdown. While the cakes are still tasty, the customer service consistently misses the mark. Every time I visit, the staff is unfriendly, never smiles, and doesn’t make you feel welcome—it's as if they couldn't care less that you placed an order. On a recent visit, I brought a printout of my order to avoid past mix-ups, only to be met with sarcasm: "Not sure why you’re handing me a piece of paper... all I need is the name." That level of rudeness, especially after supporting a business, is disappointing. I may take my business to the Boise location going forward, where service might better match the quality of the cakes.
Christopher R — Google review
I love your bundt cakes more than anything! However, the prices keep going up and the sizes keep going down. It is no longer a fun little treat or gifts for special occasions. Today there was a 10 minute wait for a dozen of the signature bundtinis. Is that normal? Seems like a bakery where everything is premade should be a quick in and out. Employee had absolutely no personality or sense of urgency.

Ordered 4 different flavors of cake..the Lemon raspberry gluten-free cake was dry and tasted weird like it was older Something .. The confetti cake was dry and tasted almost like it was burnt.. Red velvet was great! And the choc choc chip was great also!! would not order the lemon again!! Usually the gluten free cake are nice and moist…

Place is overpriced they get your orders wrong, then call you a liar. The owner is very rude and delusional. They have very bad customer service especially for how much they are charging, 6 dollars for s frozen Bundt cake that they thawed before they give it to the customer. You will be waiting 10 to 15 min anytime you go in there. There is never anyone at the counter and if there is there taking forever with another customer because they can’t figure out the register or there just hanging out in the back room. Owner is a super greedy person and doesn’t know how to run a business or properly apologize and fix a problem, she just blames the guest cause that’s all she knows how to do.
Michael A — Google review
Been going to Bundt cakes for months and given tons of money to them, never once have I been rude, in fact a lady was yelling and being extremely rude to one of the employees one day, even though the lady was right to be mad, but I still apologized to the girl working and left her a good tip because I’m a manager myself, an actual good one though, and I understand that sometimes you’re understaffed. This place is ALWAYS understaffed though and never seems to give a crap about giving good customer service. Anyways, I buy 6 white chocolate raspberry Bundt cakes quite often and 7 times now I’ve been given lemon, so obviously, their mistake! Every time I go back, I take the cakes, SHOW THEM, and every time they continue to call me a liar and are extremely rude. They replace the 6 cakes but no, “here’s something extra for OUR screw up”, or simply just making up for their mistake. I never asked for or expected compensation but after them being so caddy about everything, ya I think I deserve something for not having the cakes I paid for and spending more time and gas to come back and get the correct ones. As a manager whenever something like this happens we make it up to the guest and make it worth their while, we don’t call them a liar and act like we don’t give a crap. So same thing happened today, I take back 6 lemon cakes which I share with friends, family, coworkers and 7 times they’ve opened them and gotten lemon which now none of these people along with myself will ever give Bundt cakes our business again. But the manager walks out calls me a liar and grabs the cakes from my hand. When she figures out THEYRE LEMON! Like i said, she gives me 6 new ones, doesn’t apologize and again is extremely rude and rolls her eyes at me. I leave a review on the website because I would like to inform someone of their horrible employees so the owner can fix the problem and run a business the correct way. No, the owner calls me and says I’m a liar and she has footage of me being rude and “stealing” referring to their point system on the app and the free bundtlets you can claim. I’ve been nothing but polite and never once done anything even remotely rude, and I use the points I get from giving your crappy business so much money to get a free one on my next purchase. So obviously they just don’t like to honor their point system and reward you after spending tons of money. Your just making crap up because you know you’re in the wrong and you’re grasping at straws. So keep in mind, I’ve given this store a ton of business, money and been nothing but nice and I’ve had my cakes messed up multiple times, never been apologized to or compensated for them getting their only job incorrect. I just can’t believe a company would actually make up a bunch of stuff about me being the bad guy so they don’t have to take accountability for their mistakes and actions. After that extremely rude interaction I decided I will never be going back to Bundt cakes again. But the fact that this owner has no idea how to run a company and has the audacity to tell me “I’m banned” and not only that but she doesn’t let me get a single word in, meaning she knows I’m right and she’s wrong. This whole interaction blew my mind that a company can be that petty, and it sounds like the employees are making me the big bad villain so they don’t have to get in trouble by the boss when their the ones that screwed up and instead of the owner seeing through the bullcrap she decides to lose a ton of business and money. Good move! The owner obviously can’t run a business which is probably why they have 3 stars and why every time I go in their at least one guest is pissed off. So do yourself a favor and listen to these reviews because they are 100% correct and you should not give this place a cent of your money.

I purchase a nothing but Bunt cake for every holiday get together. About 6-7 a year. Picked one up on Wednesday for 4th of July, popped the box in my fridge to serve for desert on Friday. I couldn’t believe it when I opened the box the girl had removed the plastic wrap that was on it in the display case and put the unwrapped cake on the box. The cake was so dried out no one could eat it!!! I’m so disappointed to have spend $45.00 on a cake I had to thrown away. I have never received an unwrapped cake from the Meridian Idaho location. What a disappointment and waste of money. Hopefully they train the associates to wrap the cakes or to tell customers the cake isn’t wrapped and they need to wrap it when they get home. Stores wasn’t busy I was the only customer.

Pretty underwhelming for the price, these 2 little cups were $16. We had 2 different people take our orders and they were extremely inconsistent with portions. Definitely not going to make a return visit.
Kyle D — Google review
We go here probably once or twice a week and have never had an issue. However last night was terrible. Being that the store closes at “10pm” we went down at 9:15pm. Including the 3 of us, there were also 6 others for a total of 9 of us in there getting yogurt. Right at 9:30 the lights were shut off on us…while eating our yogurt (all in the dark). I asked the young gal working if she could turn the lights back on, and her response was, “our boss told us to shut the lights off at 9:30.” And refused to turn them back on. After we asked what boss she stated it was the owner who told her to do this. Another family that stated they have been going there for years every week said they had never seen that before in the evenings, It would be one thing to say things kindly but this girl was so rude it almost made all of us feel like not coming back after years of coming here. Another issue was the 3 girls working stated they all had school in the morning so everything was cleaned at 9:15pm when we came in. So when ordering fudge and caramel they used one little tiny plastic spoon worth of topping that we pay a lot for because they said they washed the ladles already, This was not a good experience for anyone there last night, Not a great way to run a business. Pretty disappointed.
Mark D — Google review
Have always loved this spot, BUT last night with closing time at 10:00, we and another family group were there a little before 9:30. At 9:30 the light were turned off. When asking for topping, a very small spoon was used to put a very light/small amount on the yogurt. The staff member stated "we've already washed the ladles". When the overhead light situation was brought before one of the girls working there, she was very uncaring and just stated "that's what our boss said to do"...she then walked away. If this had been the first time visiting, I certainly wouldn't go back. But as a long-time customer, I will try one more time - hopefully this will be resolved, or I will be going to a different yogurt shop :(

Nestled in downtown Boise's Restaurant Row, Little Pearl Oyster Bar is a charming eatery offering a selection of oysters from both coasts. The menu features an array of seafood delights such as shrimp cocktail, lobster roll, and seafood chowder, alongside options like curry-infused moules frites and a Kobe beef burger.
Really enjoyed this place. The oysters were great and fresh but my God those fries could end wars. Seriously some of the best fries I've ever had. Thin, perfectly fried and salted. Mmm. Lexie is a great bartender too!

I debated about writing this post but I'm pretty frustrated with the lobster roll on the menu and what was actually presented to me. This is a nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and I enjoyed half a dozen oysters that were delicious and very fresh. After I was done with the oysters I waited a solid 15 minutes for the waiter to come back to ask if I wanted anything else. I ordered the lobster roll and I was really excited about it, being from the east coast and having grown up with lobster rolls. What showed up was a pathetic excuse for a lobster roll. Lobster rolls are supposed to be cold with a light mayo and some crisp celery and onion and herbs. The star of the show is the lobster which is sweet and has a delicious flavor. What showed up with about a third of the amount of lobster that should have been in the roll, around than 4 oz is my guess. Instead of big, juicy chunks of meat it was these tiny pieces of overcooked rubber. It was saturated in a roasted spicy, heavily salted cream sauce that completely masked the sweet flavor of the lobster. There are so many examples of lobster rolls on the internet I'm shocked that the chef chose this presentation for such a nice meat. Cooking 101 says if you start with a high quality ingredient like lobster you do not overpower the delicious flavor with all of these seasonings and heavy sauces. That tells me it's a very inferior meat they're using which probably should not be on the menu at that price. The Restaurant itself and the oysters were lovely but the service and the higher ticket items needs serious work.

Vibey little bar in downtown Boise. Great cocktail menu. Oysters and super fresh and delicious - I get ~*skeptical*~ about eating seafood in a landlocked state but these oysters were top notch! Nice wine list - got the bubbles to pair with the oysters, plus the oyster po boy and lobster roll were really good too. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was super helpful and friendly (even when they were busy). Would definitely stop by here for a drink or snacks or dinner or all of the above!

I've wanted to try this place in downtown Boise since Sept., when I had a hankering for really good raw oysters and mussels...you know...your parents fine-dining seafood. When Mother's Day rolled along (the day before, actually), my husband and I planned to drop in and try the fresh catch of the day — whatever that may be. We expected a line just to get in, but lucked out when we arrived around 6 p.m. No line. (They no longer take reservations, according to their IG.) Our server sat us outside, so we could enjoy the view (people-watching) in the cool sunshine. Definitely order the raw oysters. They usually have a selection from East to West Coast, from CA Kumamotos to MA Wellfleets. We tried both. Both were fresh and cucumbery — signs of clean-harvested oysters. But our new favorites were the Wellfleets, which were also slightly bigger, brighter, and garlicky. Oysters were served with three sauce: a zingy cocktail sauce, a zingier mignonette, and a vaguely sweet cucumber. We took to loading our oysters with a combo of cocktail sauce and mignonette. The surprise of the evening...the lobster avocado salad, with thinly sliced potato and beet and a small clump of well-dressed tangy micro-greens. They tasted better than my lobster roll. My lobster was a tad over-cooked and the roll was a bit dry. I couldn't detect any remoulade, which would've helped the flavor. We also could've done without the Old Bay fries (couldn't taste the Old Bay) or the chips that went with the lobster roll. For raw oysters, this is a solid, if pricey, place to go

Absolutely wonderful. Reminds me a bit of Petite 4 with the French focus. When I went at 430 there was already a line and they appear to be very popular already. Obviously everyone is far happier with this compared to the previously tenant Donut Daze (lol) They had 7 types of oysters when I went and they were all quite varied in taste but all delicious. All of the main dishes were fantastic and the sourdough was incredible as it is sourced from a local bakery. There isn’t liquor but plenty of wine options. A very fun place for a nice night out.

The oysters were fine. They give you a small dollop of cocktail sauce for 12 oysters, asked for more cocktail sauce twice and never seen anyone again. Clam chowder was not good at all we smothered it in salt and pepper and was still flavorless. Sorry I really wanted to like this place but all around was a failure, the music was horrible and they have it turned up way too loud. The seating sucks also. Not fun

Cute little oyster spot in downtown Boise - the food was great and the waitress was delightful. They seemed possibly understaffed so we waited a long time to get drinks and then a long lag time for everything after. Not a problem since we were there celebrating and wanting to spend time talking, but possibly something to keep in mind if you're short on time.
KiKi L — Google review
Sweet little spot for wine and oysters and other delicacies. We ordered a dozen which included a couple Pacific and a couple East Coast. All were very fresh and super chilled. They were served with a cucumber and traditional mignonette plus classic cocktail sauce. They must have a super shucker because we got them only minutes after ordering. We also got the mussels which was a happy addition. Probably the best moules frites I’ve EVER had! Seriously. Even though they came with frites, we got the side of bread to dunk. I could have drank the broth like soup. Their beet salad stack is a creation of beauty and also very delicious. Refreshing combination. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to converse with us about the restaurant and their new restaurant going open across the way. She was not at all rushed and very professional. It’s nice to feel that taken care of when dining. We could relax and enjoy the experience. We will order the lobster roll next visit. Lobster roll! Don’t see those very often and at a great price! Don’t hesitate to try little Pearl. Great date spot.

Percy is a stunning restaurant located in downtown Boise that has exceeded the expectations of many visitors. The aesthetic of the place is remarkable, with attention to detail evident in every aspect, from the decor to the different types of seating available. The menu offers approachable yet upscale dishes, with fresh sourdough noodles for their pappardelle and locally sourced produce.
Percy had a warm and inviting atmosphere and comfortable seating. Service dog friendly. The drink Sleepy Hallow was good with lots of flavor. Came with a cute block of ice with a P for Percy's. And lemon and cherry garnish. The potato cauliflower soup was nice and creamy with plenty of flavor paired nicely with the bread. Ordered the turkey club and it was delicious with some fries.

My wife and I went to an early dinner here at about 5pm. There was no wait, we ordered the biscuits as a starter and their burger and skirt steak. My wife ordered her steak medium rare and that's how it showed up, I ordered my burger medium well and there was a little pink in the middle like there should be. Both entries were very good We ended the meal with a slice of cheesecake that was really good too. The staff were nice and attentive, and our food arrived pretty fast. Its a nice place for lunch or Dinner. Upscale casual is how I viewed Percy.

Random date night landed us here and it was sooo yummy! We shared the grilled artichoke (hands down, best we have EVER eaten!) and the Shaved Brussels Salad. Mmmm, both were delicious. Hubby ordered the Steak Frites and I ordered the Skirt Steak. Again, both were phenomenal. For dessert, we had the peach and blackberry crisp with a delectable crust that only dreams are made of. All in all, the patio was pleasant, the service was superb, and the food was excellent.

What a breath of fresh air. Wonderful service, great food. I grabbed the special which was halibut and prawns. My wife picked up the sourdough pappardelle. We had the cauliflower starter, which you should not pass up. We also had the cobbler desert, a real treat. Don't forget the drink menu.

I went here for my anniversary this weekend and we had a very good time. It was easy to make a reservation online, which included the option of adding food allergies. Our server and his orientee confirmed this before we ate, which I appreciated. We got seated promptly. The environment is very beautiful and I liked the staff as well. We ordered the Percy Potatoes and were not expecting them to come out with sauce, and they were very strong smelling. It turns out that it is the black garlic, which was delicious, but the sauce part was not super clear on the menu. The aioli did help cut that flavor profile quite a bit. They were rich and great tasting. Our server Bradley was excellent and gave us great advice on what drinks to get as mocktails, and what to avoid. My bf had the Sea Witch cocktail, which was pretty interesting and flavorful. I had the Double Knot and it was decent, but not my thing. Later I had the Lucky Pique mocktail (fine but not exceptional) & he got the Say When mocktail (I regret not ordering 5 of them, so good). The entrees were enjoyable. I had the salmon, and I love salmon... it was perfectly cooked and the couscous was good. I feel like the salmon and the sauce did not have a very complicated flavor profile, and it was kind of tame. I'm not saying it was bad, but the salmon didn't have a ton of spice and neither did the sauce, and I kind of like punchier things with fish. He ordered the skirt steak medium rare, which came closer to rare but was still great. The winner of our entire meal (we both feel like) was the cheesy green chili rice. If you like salsa verde and cheese, it almost tasted like a risotto with spice and cheese... but it was pretty amazing. I could eat that every day and be completely happy. He ordered the brownie cheesecake for dessert with the salted caramel sauce, and I don't really love cheesecake but it was fabulous. I got the coconut cake with lemon curd, and I feel like it didn't even need the lemon curd. The tartness was almost too much, but the coconut frosting is amazing and not super sweet, which I loved. Overall I was happy with the dinner, the service was fabulous, but I do kind of regret my choices. I think anyone should try it, it's a beautiful place and it was great for a date, but your mileage may vary. Everyone has different preferences and likes different flavors, and this was just my experience.
Andrea F — Google review
We used to come here all the time as we live very close by. However, they recently started cooking their burgers improperly. We always order our burgers medium, but they consistently come out well done—even on a refire. The attached photo is an example of when we ordered medium. It’s quite disappointing given how lovely the staff is and how great the atmosphere is. We visited maybe 10 or 15 times before this drop-off in quality, so we know they’re capable of more. I’d give this three stars based on our history, but given that the wait staff are instructed to tell us to order a different temperature, and they continue to gaslight us into thinking it’s the right temperature, this deserves 1 star.

Nice restaurant with delicious food and very attentive and detailed staff. The standout items for me were a delicious mocktail beverage that uniquely combined fresh watermelon juice and ginger flavor and their crispy delectable sourdough focaccia

Saltbrush is a restaurant in Boise that offers an exceptional dining experience. The meat platter and bread were not impressive, but the carrots and asparagus were delightful. The entrees, including lamb, tagliatelle, pork chop, and black sable fish, were all outstanding. The desserts were also phenomenal. Some patrons found the service lacking in knowledge and attentiveness. Despite this, many enjoyed the food immensely.
Celebrated a friends birthday at Saltbrush and they did not dissapoint. The space is very soothing and understatedly elegant. Service was friendly and top notch. They respected our time and didn't rush us at all. The food was all perfectly prepared. Probably the best polenta we've had on this continent was served with the porkchop. Homemade tagliatelle was super tasty. Owner poured the bottle of wine from Slovenia we ordered and shared the story of the family winery. Very well done all around! Save room for the seasonal desserts.

It's one of those places you visit and want to have the best experience, ours was just OK. Beautiful venue, nice seating, staff was nice but not very attentive. Food choices are super limited, so you'd expect them to be amazing... They were mostly good. A few of the limited appetizers were not available. Drinks are where they shine. The cocktails are quite nice. Having a few more quality mocktails could be a good thought. Overall, come for bites and drinks, not for entrees. The staff has plenty of time on their hands it seems.

We had such a great experience at Saltbrush! It was our anniversary/Valentine's celebration. The staff treated us like royalty. So attentive and thoughtful. The manager stopped by our table a couple times to check in. Everyone was wonderful - some of the best service we've ever experienced. The drinks are absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the Redwood, Daffodils Dream, yelling Yellowood and their version of the absolute best espresso martini! So delicious! We ordered the mushroom fontuna and coal roasted carrots for an appetizer. Both were absolutely fabulous! The carrots were our fave! Cooked to perfection and the flavors were light and fresh and delicious. For dinner, I had the snapper and my husband ordered the NY strip. First of all, I love when a chef knows how to prepare steak properly. It was perfectly medium-rare, not one bit overcooked. It was tender and tasty! The portion size was big - we had leftovers. The snapper was absolutely delectable. The coconut curry sauce was so, so good! The snapper was flaky and fresh. The veggies were cooked exactly right. The server was attentive and on the ball. Everything was a dream! For dessert, we got ice cream with a homemade chocolate wafer delivered to our table and a round of drinks, complimentary. That was a nice surprise! What a wonderful gesture to help us celebrate our special night. The server was good about offering to take pictures so we could memorialize the evening. And we also ordered the beignets with lemond curd for dessert. They were delightful! All in all, we had one of our top date night experiences and are so grateful for the beautiful atmosphere, incredible service, and delicious food and drinks. We will be back and will highly recommend this place to everyone we know! Thank you to everyone at Saltbrush last night who contributed to an amazing evening!

Food and cocktails here were great but honestly this may have been the best serviced restaurant I've ever been to. Everyone was very attentive and able to make suggestions or provide small requests. I 100% recommend this place if you're visiting Boise. I will absolutely be coming back next trip out that way. Really enjoyed the dining experience and the food was fantastic.

I was in town for a photography conference, and Saltbrush was recommended as a place to try. It did not disappoint! The pomegranate cocktail was incredible — I highly recommend it! For dinner I had the Thai curry snapper and it was amazing. The curry sauce really highlighted the flavor of the snapper without overpowering it, and I can’t wait to try it again. My friend had the pork chop and it was probably the tenderest pork chop I have ever had. The service was elevated and friendly, and the atmosphere was upscale and welcoming. Sarah was our server, and she was friendly and super helpful. It was what I consider the perfect dinner! I will back!!

Just visited Salt Brush for the second time, and it was almost as impressive as my first visit. I originally tried their spring menu, which was absolutely fantastic—and this latest experience came very close. The ribs were a definite highlight—tender and glazed in a sweet, flavorful sauce, served with charred broccoli and a small portion of toasted mixed nuts that added an unexpected and delicious crunch. The strawberry sorbet was bright and refreshing, and their house butter served with the sourdough boule? Absolutely unreal. I still can’t figure out what they add to it, but it’s addictive. I ended up ordering two Morning Glory cocktails—still my favorite in town by a long shot. The basil arancini was another standout: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right hint of basil. That said, we’re really hoping they bring back the mushroom fonduta and squash arancini from the last menu—those were unforgettable. Salt Brush continues to be a perfect upscale date night spot—refined, cozy, and full of thoughtful, beautifully executed dishes.

Fantastic place and great food. The support staff was outstanding, and the atmosphere light and lovely. HOWEVER, the main waiter was seemed like he should have been at a more casual restaurant, just doing his job and waiting to go home. We had to ask other staff once to have him come over to take our main order which seemed odd as it was empty. Over all? It’s a good place based on the food but I doubt I’ll return based on the main service. This being said, I’m used to chandlers service so am probably very spoiled.

This place is AMAZING! It's cute, quaint, and always has top-notch customer service. Hands down, they have the best ice cream in all of Idaho! It is super creamy, packed with delicious mix-ins, and thick like a Blizzard. You can really taste the difference with their house-made ice cream, so fresh and high-quality. My favorite ice cream by far is the mud pie, but anything you try will be fantastic. They also have coffee which is pretty good! The seating area is cozy, and I love browsing all the adorable little items they have for sale. I truly can't rate this place highly enough!

I hesitate to write this one because I like that this place is quiet and mellow, but delicious chocolates, decent coffee, Gelato, and lots of locally sourced items such as diaries, book marks, earrings, and lots of other knickknacks. Customer service was top notch, but we spent $75 on candy tonight and most of it is inedible. Super bummed to get home and realize that the gummy candies and gum we bought are all ROCK hard, like break your teeth. Grateful that the gals working were so friendly and personable, though. Maybe we bought the wrong stuff, but we will not be buying candy here again.

I went in to get gelato while my son was working Joe (the owner) became incredible condescending and passive aggressive toward both my son and to me. Despite there being no other customers Joe made it very clear that families are not welcome. I will not be visiting here again and will share with others the experience I had there the past two times I went in as a paying customer. Update: I should clarify that this (and the other time I came in) were no where close to an extended personal visit. I purchased gelato and the treatment we both received from Joe began promptly when I had only said hello to my son. There was nothing polite about the statements made by Joe. It is sad to think that your management and leadership feel it is appropriate in any circumstance to treat others with disrespect. If the expectation set by you is that your employees ignore anyone they know who may be shopping, I might suggest not being in customer service. I honestly can't recall a time I was treated in such a passive aggressive and condescending manner by another adult.

What a fun experience. We did tacos and fries from Kanak. Street corn fries from Better Together. We had soda and ice cream from a cute truck (sorry forgot the name.) This place is a vibe, go in with knowing there are waits for food. Sitting is limited but be kind and ask I am sure you can share the table. We did with a multitude of couples who rotated through. The Midnight Jazz Cats were fantastic and lively.

We went to see the band Frontline. Super cool place. Grass and lots of trees for shade outside the food court area. Neat little stage. Tents, benches, tables, and chairs inside the food court area. Large yard games kids were having fun with. I didn't have food this time, but it all looked great. There's also an ice cream truck. I wasn't sure about parking, so I found a spot along the street with a bunch of other people. I look forward to going back.

Went to the 8 annual Idaho wildlife Alefest this weekend. Yes it rained the whole time but everyone had a great time with lots of brewery’s pouring from local, Oregon and Washington there. The music was basically country and blue grass and they rocked it. Found a taco trailer that had some of the best carnitas tacos I have found here in the treasure valley, basilios Mexican food. I went back two times and enjoyed 6 of the carnitas street tacos.

I really wanted to like this place since it's close to home. The girl at the counter was friendly and tried to be helpful BUT the drink I had just wasn't worth the money and I'm not sure what went wrong. You can only choose 2 flavors so I went with Mango and Pineapple with yogurt poppers. Unfortunately, it tasted like a bland milk ice and had nearly zero fruit flavor. I guess it's back to Boise Boba for me.

They also have a great selection of fruit teas and creative blends, so there's always something new to try. I've been going to urban fox for a couple of years now and its always been my go-to boba place but as of late the milk tea and iced tea taste bland and watered down. Not worth it anymore. The service is always amazing. The claw machine also ALWAYS drops the toy it grabs.

Gross! I left there and I wish I had tried my Thai tea and my scone before I left. Both are horrible! I do not like leaving negative reviews but this is just awful. I can't with good conscience be dishonest. I wish I had read others reviews before coming here. The Thai tea is very watered down and doesn't even taste like Thai tea. It's just yucky. The scone was literally hard as a rock. I could barely break it in half. It has to be 3 weeks old. I cant believe this place is so popular. It was busy. I wasted way too much time waiting for a treat and a drink that I'm now throwing away. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere but here. Also customer service is rude.

This is a very cute coffee shop and I was so very excited to come in. I've been in twice and each time the baristas are extremely unwelcoming and rude. They behave as if you coming in to order a drink is a cardinal sin. Like how DARE you come in, and interrupt them on their cellphones. If they retrained the staff and enforced customer service policies it would be an amazing place.

I LOVE this place!!! I love popping Boba, and their teas are amazing! I love both the regular teas and the milk teas. My friend got a coffee the last time we went, a sugar free caramel, and while I don't ever drink sugar free it was surprisingly delicious!

Boba is fabulous. If they could leave the religion out thay would be great. The employee very condescending like said "god bless you" as I left.

Mojo's Donuts & Ice Cream is a new gem in the Treasure Valley, offering an extravagant assortment of donuts and ice cream flavors. Their specialty shakes even come with a donut garnish, providing double the pleasure for your taste buds. The huckleberry donut is a standout, filled with flavorful fruit and syrup, topped with just the right amount of cream cheese frosting. The glazed cruller is also a fresh and delightful choice.
Some of the specialty donuts are very sweet is my only complaint. The kids loved them though! The regular donuts were light and airy, the service impeccable. The shop is cozy with a few tables if you really want to stay.

Fun yummy donuts! I bought a variety to bring to a baby shower, and they were a hit. Standouts were the berry cheesecake and salted caramel. The apple fritter was a hit, too. I was so happy to see that they had five gluten-free donuts. Two really nice young ladies helped me. This place is a winner. Can't wait to go back for ice cream next time I'm in town.

Wanted to try something new for our donut fixation. This is a great local donut shop that has been in Boise for a couple years now. They have gourmet selection and regular donuts. Ice cream as well, but did not opt in for that, which can make for a great desert option. The donuts were very tasty and fresh. The pistachio cannoli was a hit. The quality is good too! Customer service was on point and helping us with the flavors. I would say that Mojos donuts is probably the top spot for a good, quality donut shop. Come here next time you need a great tasting donut!

Date of Visit: July 29, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. I visited this donut shop in the morning and was unfortunately disappointed by the lack of attention to food safety and cleanliness. While waiting to be served, I noticed a fly crawling on a tray of donuts inside the display case. We informed the gentleman at the counter, and although he removed the tray, the fly remained inside the case. In addition, several food items, including donuts on counters and racks, as well as candy in open containers, were left uncovered. While I understand that flies and bugs can occasionally enter when doors are opened, there are preventative steps that could be taken to protect food, such as keeping items covered, using lids for the candy containers, and installing proper doors on display cases. Cleanliness is a crucial part of any food establishment, and I hope the owners take some steps to improve sanitation and food handling practices. The donuts looked good, but unfortunately, I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything after what I saw.

Got some donuts and they were some of the better donuts I've had around here. Really nice staff, really nice atmosphere. There are hidden ducks around the store that are fun to look for.
Trivinity — Google review
Their huckleberry donut was stuffed full of flavorful fruit & syrup, then topped with a just-right size blob of cream cheese frosting. The raised donut part was tender & fresh & had no nasty oily taste. Yum! The glazed cruller was also enjoyed, & was fresh. Our favorite was the rich, high butter-fat ice cream. We tried a kidl size each of the honeycomb & one with peanut butter and chocolate. So rich & creamy. Mmmm Store was clean. Worker didnt smile or greet us & seemed unhappy to be there. The ice cream & the donuts are definitely worth many more visits. Dont forget to sit and pose on the Holstein cow bench out front!

Mojo’s is a very fun place overall! The staff are respectful and kind to every customer. The staff work very hard to make the food presentable!
Emmy — Google review
Review of donuts (did not try ice cream). Nice store, friendly employees and service (5 stars for that), donuts are hit and miss and not particularly priced well for what you get (2.5 stars). On the plus side, the donut fillings were good (we tried huckleberry and Boise cream). The donut dough, however, was not our favorite, a bit too dense and tastes like white bread. Prefer a fluffier yeasty donut. The Apple "hand pie" donut was especially bad - literally tasted like thick Wonder bread with apple pie filling. The french crueller dough was better, though a bit on the overly sweet side, and the apple fritter was large but too bready. Overall not bad, just not as good as the hype or reviews suggest. There are better tasting donuts around Boise.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dessert experience, look no further than Boise Pie Co. and Eatery. This charming eatery is renowned for its scrumptious fruit and cream pies that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a treat, their pies make every moment memorable. The crusts are perfectly flaky, while the fillings strike an ideal balance of sweetness and tartness—especially their cherry pie!
Underrated for how amazing it is. Great staff, food is amazing we're pie lover's and were so happy to find this place. Coffee was a plus, she brewed up a good drink. A variety of pies and amazing flavors. The breakfast pie was amazing, my husband (bigger pie lover) enjoyed a slice of the Huckleberry Cream pie with a Peach pie to go for a birthday 'cake.'

I used to love this place. But recently it’s gone down hill. I was in person and ordered a breakfast sandwich that was in no way toasted and covered in so much pepper and sadly it was inedible. I used to order on DoorDash and they changed the menu. I’ve received sausage several times when the breakfast sandwich says bacon. You can no longer pick your cheese or add ingredients. So disappointed. I need to find a new spot
Lisia N — Google review
I went in and got a Thai wrap and a pie flight. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcome! The gal taking the orders was so helpful, my food was delicious and it was really clean in there! I went home and gobbled up my wrap and my son and I dove in to the pies. They’re incredible! I can’t wait to try the other pies I saw in there as well. My waistline might complain but I don’t even care!

I really wanted to love Boise Pie Co. but was disappointed. Stopped for coffee & breakfast. Coffee was fine. Quiche crust wasn’t flakey, little flavor and nothing remarkable. The crust should have been amazing if you’re a Pie Co. I don’t anticipate visiting again.

If the thought of Pie comes to mind, visit the Boise Pie Company. I had a request for a birthday cherry pie this year, and I did not have to look far. I was able to place my order in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. The service I received was impeccable on the phone and in person. The birthday pie was a hit! The crust is my favorite part of the pie as it was the perfect thickness and flaky. The filling was the perfect amount of tart and sweet with all the cherries packed in! No more supermarket pies for me as I have found the spot for pies from now on! Support your local businesses! Thank you Boise Pie Company!

I've driven past this for years, always wondered... Well today was the day!! It's not a pizza establishment, it is WAY better!! Outstanding sandwiches, pie of every kind!!! The food is very fresh, the service is awesome!! Izzy helped us both out with lots of suggestions, he knows everything about the menu. His suggestions were spot on!! He is very personable, super friendly and went out of his way to greet and say good bye to everyone that walked in. The pies.... wow!! We had the peaches with Carmel, it was amazing, the peaches were fresh, Carmel was rich, together it melted in my mouth. The cherry crumble was great as well, good crumble, tart cherries ...yum!! They even gave a pie flight, 3 slices to try!! So do yourself a big favor and stop in, grab pie, a coffee, sandwich and enjoy!! This place is worth visiting!!! Thank you Ozzy for all of your help, you are an outstanding employee with amazing customer service, you definitely add to the success of the Boise Pie Co. Go visit!!! You will be happy you did!

I can only review the food since I ordered through DoorDash, but the chicken salad sandwich I had, which the restaurant customized for me (added bacon and provolone which turned it into a kind of chicken salad club sandwich - try it; it's amazing), and the chocolate mousse pie were out-of-this-world delicious. The next day I had their berry pie, and it was pretty scrumptious as well. I'm planning a trip to the restaurant in person now.
Claudia C — Google review
Great food if you have the time to get it. We got the tom Sawyer sandwich, the Idaho sup hand pie, the coconut cream pie, and the pumpkin cake pie. The tom Sawyer was savory and with the apple it had a very nice crisp to it, but there was not too much apple, especially because I do not live green apples. The Idaho sup was basically mashed potato in a crust, cute for being in Idaho but definitely not worth it. The pumpkin cake pie was basically pumpkin pie with a pecan crust that was crumbled on top. It was good but I do wish i had tried something else. Lastly was the coconut cream pie which had a very velvety texture but had an almost tart flavor to it. The crust was a very thick graham cracker crust which just didn't go with the pie, it would be very tasty with other pies but not in this one. We might come back and try other items but the pies we got were slightly disappointing.

The bakery also offers delectable chocolate croissants and raspberry rolls that are considered the best in the valley. I have only ever ordered special cakes from this place but every single time Heather comes through for me and she is my official/unofficial “cake lady”! They just get better and better. I trust her to take a concept and make it her own or to make exactly what I am looking for with inspiration photos. She also always gives me fantastic customer service which is extra because I am a last minute, high maintenance customer.

Omg.. if you want a sticky bun in Boise, this is the place to go. I have tried other sticky buns throughout the Treasure Valley, and this one is super delicious. Once I found this place, I have gone back several times. The staff is so friendly. They also have little tables that you can stay there and grab a bite to eat. They do custom order cakes. I have tried their cinnamon rolls as well, which are delicious. I've tried several other pastries and wasn't disappointed. I will continue to go back to this place always for the sticky buns.

This place has become my go-to neighborhood dessert bakery. Seems like the bad reviews criticize them for not being able to make social media caliber designer cakes, but that’s not what they’re about. Everything they bake is focused on flavor and absolutely delicious - like your granny would make! I appreciate they make pies that aren’t overly sweet and cheesecakes that are swirled with a decent amount of fruit! Cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are fantastic if you get them fresh in the morning.

We went to Granny C's this year for our daughter's birthday cake as it was her Sweet 16 and she wanted something special. The whole experience was wonderful as they listened to our requests and asked pertinent questions that helped us make a decision for the right type and size of cake. The result was outstanding and we will definitely go there again in the future. Thank you for your excellent customer service and product!

We love this little bakery and the family that owns it. If you want some of the best bakery items, they offer the most decadent sweets and savory baked goods. Homemade biscuits and gravy is a favorite of my family topped off with a peanut butter and chocolate cupcake or cinnamon roll and a coffee. We drive 30 minutes because it's worth it. Give them a try and get there early because they are so good that they run out of some items.

I ordered a cake for my brother’s surprise engagement party, and what I received was beyond disappointing. I provided a clear reference photo (attached), expecting a simple, elegant heart-shaped cake with smooth white frosting and clean lettering. Instead, I was given a cake that looked nothing like what I requested—uneven, messy, and honestly embarrassing to serve at such a special event (see second photo). When I reached out to the bakery to express my concerns, I was met with outright rudeness. The owner/baker not only refused to acknowledge the issue but also yelled at me and hung up. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way they handled my complaint was completely unprofessional. If you’re looking for a bakery that cares about quality and customer service, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere. I certainly won’t be ordering from here again.

I am bummed to give this place one star, but it is not well managed at all. Whoever decided to make one poor young girl run the entire store alone on the weekend is not making good choices. There was probably 30 people in the store and she was desperately trying to run the register and make orders. My order was 3rd in line, and I had to give up and leave after 20 minutes because I had an appointment I couldn't miss. It really sucked because my kid was with me and she was extremely disappointed. I felt so bad for the young lady running the store all by herself on the weekend.

After viewing a TikTok video, we decided to try the Cookies and Cream Smashed Donut, featuring Cookies 'n Cream ice cream, vanilla drizzle, Oreos, and Chips Ahoy. While the product was acceptable, we found the ice cream quantity insufficient and its rapid melting resulted in a messy experience. Given our preference and the overall experience, we do not anticipate returning; however, it may be worth trying for others.

Ordered a cookies and cream smashed donut. It is ice cream between a donut. Tried since it seemed new, but taste wasn’t any unique. Plus I got it delivered, and maybe the donut got cold a bit. It’s supposed to be hot. Don’t order it to get, can try if you’re in the store

Crumbl Cookies - Southeast Boise is a delightful haven for cookie lovers, consistently delivering an array of warm, fresh cookies that tantalize the taste buds. This charming bakery has become a local favorite, with its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff who are always eager to share their favorites. The rotating menu keeps things exciting, featuring unique flavors like the Lucky Charm cookie and seasonal delights such as the Blueberry Crumbl made with real blueberries.
My first time experience here and the Blueberry Crumbl didn't disappoint! Made with fresh blueberries, this establishment is above the bar in the quality and care they put into their cookies, which are served warm. I'm already eager to try another creation next time. Definitely worth the price at four dollars for an individual cookie. The lady that helped me was pleasant and didn't over sell, just explained quite simply and clearly about the cookies that were on the menu this week and how each week is different, her simple approach was nice.
Barbara K — Google review
Crumbl desserts are very good, indeed, but VERY overpriced. I've purchased from them twice, and got a variety of items and sizes. Astounded that there are upcharges of $0.69 to $0.99 per item on certain items. Tried to figure out if there was some sort of extremely costly ingredient in these items to justify the additional charges. Still stumped by that. Bottom line, if you want an occasional treat, (or friend or loved one requests Crumbl for a birthday or special occasion), you won't be disappointed by the taste, but be prepared to pay A LOT. Customer service was fine when I got curbside delivery, but I wasn't impressed by the customer service I received in store. Employee argued with me about my order, which was wrong. Change I requested was across the board the same. I finally gave up and left with what I had.

Who would have thought a cookie store would be such a highly demanded success.? Yummy cookies all the time. Consistently crushing it with taste. Dental suppliers love to gift dental offices with these cookies and now I work next door to one. Constant freshed bake cookie smells at work. Lucky Charm cookie needs to be rotated way more often since I think it is possibly the BEST cookie crumbl offers. If you have never been treated to these, you must.

Absolutely amazing. Such a creative and unique experience. The vision they have for this place is stunning. Prefix menu curated around a creative idea. In a way want to keep this a secret…. But this place rivals some of the best restaurants I’ve been to, and those include top 100 in the world. Personally I feel the flavors of every single ingredient shines through. The presentation is perfection. The community feel and small seating makes it intimate and unique. Love the play on stories and art. Can’t wait to explore every new menu!

Definitely the best restaurant in Boise when it comes to fine dining. From the artistic storytelling woven throughout the experience, the truly bold flavors of unexpectedly combined and locally-sourced ingredients, the European-style seating, to the humorous attitude of the knowledgeable front-of-house… it was a pleasant surprise to come back after so many years and find a restaurant really elevating the food scene in Boise. 100 stars! Incredible food and experience. We came for the last seating which I guess is a little different. The food was unique and delicious. We went here for our anniversary/birthday dinner! This place is UNDERRATED! Truly had the best experience ever! The concept is around an artist, this time it was around Sue! They understand her life is detail and curate dishes around her life story! All the art is the background was made by her - paintings/photography! I wish I had the menu that we took from them to include a detail list of what we ate. We had a drinks pairing along with food. They were SO good! Food (from what I remember) - Egg/salad, soup, tofu, palette cleanser, radish and beetroot cooked, and then dessert! (essentially a 5 course meal)! They were all SO good. Even the entrance was like a speakeasy! We enter into a bar and then into KIN!

Service was excellent. Food very average.. didn’t match up with the experience the restaurant was trying to achieve. The best dish was the rhubarb tart with oat milk . (1) Gluten-free bread- was hard (2) Crab & artichoke - Yummy 3) soup - sour & peppery. Average taste but pretty 4) Monk-fish : nice presentation but tasteless.. the sesame caviar wasn’t salty at all thus didn’t help to bring any taste to the monk fish 5) Pork - overcooked thus dry & very salty 6) Rhubarb tart - best Warm towels at the end … nice gesture... note to restaurant .. perhaps use tongs to place the towels on plates instead of hands

One of the must see the places in downtown Boise! Factory of the famous Spud Candy bars! Really cool. Very historic. Highly recommend it. Also, if you want a deal, ask for a couple pounds of the seconds. They are the same thing that go out for top dollar but bulk in a bag that were rejected.

A review of the candy: peanut brittle is good. Has a good flavor to it. It’s not something I’d be amazed with. But it is better than store bought brittle. Chocolate peanut clusters had no joke, 1 peanut in them in most of the clusters. Lol. The chocolate is pretty waxy. I shop at sprouts grocery stores and they’re peanut clusters are better. The toffee is pretty bland. The “old faithful” bar was decent. The chocolate on that bar was actually less waxy than the clusters. I’m allergic to coconut so I didn’t get to try their spuds. All in all I’d give it 2 stars. The brittle was a solid 3 but the chocolate knocked it down a star. A review of the service: I’d give that a half star. But even that may be much. I went in around 2pm on a Monday and there was only 1 other person in the small shop. I had to pass the counter going in. Not a “ hi”, “welcome”, “be with you in a minute” nothing from the lady behind the counter. The door is literally in front of the counter. I was in the shop for a good at least half an hour waiting for a friend that had to go there because they just HAD to. I was the ONLY person in the shop and the lady still didn’t greet me, didn’t try to sell anything to me, didn’t try to up sell me on anything. I honestly felt as if she was ticked off that I was even in the shop. I asked her 5 questions in total and each time it was a labor to answer me. The only happy/pleasant interaction I had with her was when I paid for my stuff and left. There was another gentleman there as well. He never once said a word to me. When I worked in retail and customer service we had to great or acknowledge a customer within a minute of them in our site, definitely went at least 15mins before her answering a product question. Could definitely work on the customer service skills there. A review of the shop/museum(?): the shop itself is super small and connected to what I would think is their office?(the people their were working on what looked like spreadsheets. Just a guess) they took 2 phone calls between the 2 of them and one was a cold call that the lady servicing the shop was annoyed she even picked up. It’s a quaint looking space. Has a few cool looking old things and photos. Not much candy. A video plays of the process of how things are made. All in all, you could watch it on YouTube probably. I’d give the shop 3 stars. It’s cute.

I had dinner with a friend and every dish was incredible, thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of bold flavor. The tableside baked potato service is such a fun touch! We stayed the night at the Inn at 500 and enjoyed brunch the next morning from our balcony, thanks to their in-room Butler Pantry service. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made without seed oils, which I love. Hemlock is officially my new go-to for both a night out and a special brunch. Can’t wait to go back!

An amazing experience! Oh, and our menus had our family name printed on them, nice touch! The food was exquisitely prepared and was absolutely delicious. Plenty of steak options and sauce options. Side dishes were amazing and the table-side baked potato bar is a must. Be sure to be familiar with menu prices before coming. Parking is OK in the hotel parking garage BTW.

We had been meaning to try Hemlock, the newest steakhouse in downtown Boise that took over the former Richard’s space in Hotel 500. It is the latest concept from the team behind one of our favorite taco spots, Spitfire in Eagle. Parking downtown can be a bit tricky, but Hemlock does have valet service available out front. We stopped in for happy hour and grabbed a high-top in the bar. The atmosphere is stylish, with high-end finishes that feel elevated without being pretentious. The chairs, tables, and overall décor all make a great impression. For food, we started with the deviled eggs topped with pork belly, which were perfectly done and a standout bite. Next we split the burger and fries. The burger is a classic flat-top style, made from the prime steak trimmings, and you can really tell. Their house-made burger sauce was an instant hit with both of us. Even though that was plenty of food, I could not resist trying the “1000 layer potato.” Imagine the buttery flakiness of a croissant, but made from thinly layered potatoes. Absolutely divine. Happy hour prices were excellent and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Hemlock is an impressive addition to Boise dining and one we will be returning to many times over. Highly recommended.

This place is an experience. Service was great. They went above and beyond making sure our needs were met and that we were taken care of. The steaks were phenomenal. Melt in your mouth. The butters and sauces we ordered added another layer of flavor. Baked potato was on another level. Can't edit to go again.

Went to Hemlock's happy hour with my girlfriends and had the best time! Ramsey was seriously AMAZING! The atmosphere was super chill, the service was spot on, and everyone was so friendly. We ordered a bunch of their apps and the burger was hands-down our favorite. Already talking about going back.

If you’re looking for a fantastic and memorable dining experience this is the place. My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary here and we’re so happy we chose this restaurant. The hostess greeted us warmly by opening the door for us. We were sat right away, we had a reservation. We were delightfully surprised with the custom message on your menu. The table was very comfortable and the atmosphere was beautiful. We were greeted first by our server’s assistant and she was very friendly. June was our server and she was simply amazing! The food was delicious, the cocktails were exceptional, and the dessert was the perfect finish. I had the Zabuton steak and my husband had the New York steak, they were both cooked to perfection. There was a little mix up at the end of our meal, another server accidentally gave our leftover’s bag to the wrong table. It honestly wasn’t a big deal to us, we still would have left the restaurant very happy with our experience but our server and the manager went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. They remade the food that we had leftover and even reprinted our custom message menus for us to take home. It’s easy to tell that Hemlock prides themselves of delivering an exceptional customer experience and because of that we will be long time customers. Thank you, The Bliss’s

Went for our anniversary and it was perfection, start to finish! The customized menu was such a lovely surprise- looking at other reviews I can see now that it’s standard for special occasions, but still to us it was SO sweet! Atmosphere is upscale and modern but still very cozy, the chairs were plush and the table was gorgeous! Server was attentive, quick, fun, and just awesome! Drinks were fantastic, special touches but not gimmicky. We specifically came for the table-side baked potato and it didn’t disappoint- fun and DELISH, the menu says it’s for two but could have served 4+ easily😂 Steaks were also cooked to perfection and had a phenomenal char on the outside- texture/flavor/temp, all 10’s.

We went to hemlock last night for the first time and had such an amazing time! Our server, Kimber, was so much fun and so knowledgeable about the menu and steak offerings. All four of us tried different steaks and shared a collection of sides - all of them were so tasty! The bread service is also insane and some of the best bread I’ve ever had. Finally, I think I found my new favorite cocktail ever at Hemlock; the Appaloosa Pear. Highly recommend coming here for a fun and tasty dinner with friends or date night!!

Restaurant
Mi Linda Michoacana Paleteria & Neveria Ice Cream & Popsicle in Boise, Idaho offers a delightful experience with its fresh and creamy ice cream, flavorful mango ads, and delicious elote in a cup. The menu is diverse, featuring nachos, cheese, paletas, and agua frescas. Despite the lack of labeling on items and language barriers with the staff, visitors appreciate the patience and helpfulness of the clerk.
It took a little longer to get our food items, but I’d say it was worth the wait. The ice cream is so fresh and creamy 10/10 I also get elote in a cup and you can add chips if you want. The mango ads is soooooo good, a must try! The nachos and cheese were really good too. They have a great menu and the restaurant is clean! I will be back to try more things.

The creamiest ice cream I've had in a long time. There should be a line out the door. It made me wish I wasn't so awkward in Spanish but the staff member was super sweet to us anyway.
Tierney B — Google review
The worst customer service I have ever received. The two gals had their airpods in, didn't greet us, barely spoke to us, and the place is filthy. The ice cream is delicious, but I wouldn't come back due to lack of customer service.
Yari — Google review
Looked forward to trying this place out today since I’m new to the state. I asked for a “chamango” because that’s what they are called where I’m from. The female worker looked at me rude and said “Mangonadaaa” with a rude demeanor. I brushed it off, but asked a question about a flavor of ice cream and she she said in Spanish “we don’t have that”, mind you she gave no eye contact the entire time and answered while she walked away to make the Mangonada. The entire time I spoke English because I struggle to speak Spanish although I understand it. Somewhere along the lines she rings me up and I signed for a total of 9.99 for a small mangonada and I just checked my card and I was charged 12.71. That’s a heck of a tip she gave herself for a sour attitude. Sad, if you don’t want to work. Don’t work. Question, is this family owned or a corporation?
Jenelle O — Google review
I recently had a very disappointing experience. I used to visit this place almost every week, but after my latest visit, I will never return. My husband and I unfortunately got food poisoning, and my husband ended up in the hospital. When I contacted them to request a refund they initially offered one. However when I went to the location I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior. They accused me of lying, asking “how do we know you’re telling the truth” This was extremely upsetting and completely uncalled for. A business should handle customer complaints with respect and consideration, especially in such serious matters. Clearly customer service training is needed. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to their poor customer service and lack of empathy.
Fedra G — Google review
I like to come here every couple of months but recently the service has declined. There is always 1-2 workers, need to hire more. They say they sell mini pancakes but workers say it’ll take 50 minutes to get 30 of them, when they come out they are drenched in chocolate sauce. Price said $7.99 for 15 pancakes butt he lady charged $9.99 and said it was the same thing. Never coming back.
Dayana J — Google review
Bought some agua frescas, and they tasted so mid. Other than that it was alright. Last time I went they had some good ice cream and nice service.

Frozen banana 10/10 but the elote was lacking, no lime, no Tapatio, very little cotija cheese. Just not as big of verity. For that reason it gets a 2/5

Really good cookie dough scoops, delicious ice cream, friendly/helpful staff, modern/fun environment. Love it!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable for getting a specialty dessert and they have lots of flavor options and vegan options which was nice. Be warned that it is a lot of sugar with the cookie dough! We got the peanut butter cookie dough and it was a nice balance of peanut butter and cookie flavor. The lemon cookie (vegan) was good but too sweet for me.

This spot was such a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is cute, the employee working the counter had impeccable customer service and was bubbly and friendly, and the cookie dough / ice cream duo was fantastic! Cookie dough wasn't what we had originally planned on for a hot afternoon treat, but these guys nailed it with the variety of flavors! We'll definitely be going back.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I literally just spit out the bourbon pecan cookie dough and threw the whole scoop away. It tasted like I’d ingested cleaning chemicals. I’m not super picky but that was truly horrible. I’ve gotten different flavors of cookie dough from here before and it was just fine! For whatever reason tonight…it was not fine. Kind of bummed.

Emmeli's Cake is a renowned bakery in Boise, ID, known for its delectable desserts and wedding cakes. Emmeli, a talented baker from a family of bakers, has honed her skills to perfection. Her creations have left customers in awe, with one couple claiming that their wedding cake was so good it ruined all other cakes for them. Another customer praised the moist and flavorful carrot cake made for their son's birthday.
I loved my cake order! First time customer and it was a very good experience. Easy to work with, good prices, love the detail and tasted awesome! Definitely coming back for my next order!
Blanca C — Google review
We recently asked Emmeli’s Cake if they could make a zucchini cake with whipped cream frosting—something special we had at our wedding 10 years ago in another state. Even though it wasn’t on the menu, they said yes, and absolutely nailed it! The cake was unbelievably delicious—moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. We served it at a party for 30 guests and received so many compliments. Everyone kept asking where it was from! Not only was the cake incredible, but we also loved the enthusiasm and excitement he had in creating something unique for us. It truly felt like a collaboration, and we can’t wait to order again. Thank you for bringing such a meaningful flavor back to life—better than we even remembered!

Emmeli’s was absolutely amazing to work with! We needed a small gender reveal cake for my husband and I to find the gender of our little GIRL! 🥰🎀 She was so kind and patient with us. The cake was too die for so delicious! I will absolutely be having her make future cakes for our family.

Emmeli is wonderful and so amazing to work with! She delivered our cakes on the wedding day and they were beautiful and delicious. It a joy to recommend her!

Emmeli was wonderful to work with and her cakes are as beautiful as they are tasty. I ordered red velvet with cream filling and pistachio with pistachio cream filling cupcakes for my wedding back in May, and my guests couldn’t get enough. The frosting was so light and fluffy and the cake was moist and flavorful. Her frosting artwork was amazing. I didn’t really have much as far as specifications, and she showed up with several boxes of cupcakes , each with unique floral designs. Emmeli is a true artist. 100% recommend.
Katie G — Google review
Emmeli’s Cake did my wedding cake (and cake pops) for my October 2022 wedding. It ruined all future cake for my husband. We got several cakes afterward because he was craving it, and every time he was so disappointed because “it’s not nearly as good as our wedding cake was.” The cake was also beautiful. We decided to get one for our anniversary this year, and when I reached out she let me know one year anniversary cakes are free of charge. She was super flexible with us about a pickup date and time (newborn baby makes it a bit tricky!) and this cake is just as beautiful and will surely be just as delicious. Thank you so much 🩵

This charming spot specializes in an array of fresh cookies, including custom creations perfect for any occasion. Whether you're celebrating a birthday or planning a special event like a gender reveal party or baptism, their stunning designs and delicious flavors are sure to impress your guests.
Very friendly service the gal selling the sweets was very nice and inviting, it was our first time visiting the shop and the prices are pretty fair. The icecream sandwich was really good and the perfect size to share between two people if you don’t have a huge sweet tooth, it comes out the freezer pretty solid so we were able to eat it before it melted on a hot day. The Easter/Spring themed sugar cookies were adorable and very unique, my favorite was a purple tulip that had some nice dark and light contrast, you can tell there’s really a lot of effort put into their work. I’d definitely recommend bringing your kids or significant other for a quick treat.

We have been big fans of OneHauteCookies for over 2 years. Not only are they super affordable but they are delicious and well designed. In March we ended up having them design some cookies for our boys baptism. Again, i was impressed with how easy and not intimidating they made the whole process. The cookies came out beautifully, tasted magnificent and guests even took extras home with them.

I have used One Haute Cookie for a variety of events and every single time they have knocked it out of the park. We've done potatoes, business logos, birthdays and now custom baby shower cookies. Seafood restaurant
Freshies Lobster Co. has quickly become a must-visit spot at The Warehouse Food Hall since its opening in February 2023. Known for their standout lobster rolls, this eatery also serves up delicious lobster mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, and clam chowder. Diners rave about the generous portions of warm lobster meat nestled in a toasted Maine-style bun that resembles Texas toast—it's truly a delightful experience!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I've had freshies in Utah a few times so when I heard they opened up in Boise I knew I had to come and get food. I was extremely happy with the lobster Lettuce Cups I got the cilantro sauce on the side. My coworker got the lobster roll and clam chowder and she said they were both delicious! Worth the money!
Saundra S — Google review
What a great place and a great location! We both ordered the large (5oz) lobster roll and some clam chowder to share. The food was amazing. The lobster roll looked smallish, but I didn't realize how much meat was in the roll. It was chock full of deliciously warmed lobster meat. I was stuffed. They described the bun as a Maine hot dog bun. Think Texas toast bun. It was toasted and delicious. Service was great and we'll be back again. I see reviews commenting on the high price. This is fresh Maine lobster just like what you'd get in the Northeast. And cheaper....in Boise....
Matt D — Google review
The service is so hit and miss. The night we came in, no one was behind the counter for about 15 min and a man came in with an internet order which had to be filled by the absent worker before our order was taken. The lobster rolls were good but hey it is lobster. The lobster bisque was not the best I have eaten.
Ryan S — Google review
Anyone who is missing fresh lobster rolls from the Coast need to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!!!!! I seriously had to pause when taking the first couple bites cause i thought I was eating at the coast cause the lobster tasted so fresh. (Workers said the lobster will be flown in almost daily) All food items my family order was great quality and was devoured quickly. If you don’t want a roll try the grilled cheese cause that is on a different level. Grateful to have a place like this in Boise now. My family will return soon and definitely bringing others to enjoy the food. 👍

Walked down to Freshies from my house on the Bench today to try a lobster roll and it was pretty darn good. I was there @ 1 pm and they weren't overly busy. Ordered, and got my roll in 10-12 minutes. It was loaded with butter soaked lobster and I was glad that it wasn't a mayo based sauce. It only had a little smeared on the bun. I also liked the bun they used, nice and soft and toasted. My only complaint (and I'm not going to complain about the price, because I had a lobster roll in Key West back in 2019 and it was 20 some dollars then, 4 years ago, and it wasn't as good) is that the bottom of the bun got soggy. It almost had too much butter. Maybe they could drain the lobster a little more before they put it on the bun. But if you like lobster and butter you will enjoy this roll.
Brian C — Google review
The freshest lobster I’ve ever had!!! It was cooked perfectly and absolutely worth every penny! I’ve paid way more for lobster at other “fine dining” establishments in Boise and it’s never been even close to Freshies Lobster Co! This is the freshest, perfectly cooked and immaculately seasoned lobster I’ve ever had anywhere! If you love seafood, you will not find anything better in the Boise area! I’m going back tomorrow to try the crab roll!

A relaxing place to enjoy tasty food and drinks for the whole family! In a perfect world there would be more grass or water, and the drinks would be a dollar cheaper, but I digress. A huge thank you for enough shade, these freckles wouldn't survive without the lovely person that put up a shade structure and lots of umbrellas.

If you like food trucks, Switchback in Boise is a great way to check out several at one time. They are open Wednesday through Sunday. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have live music, as well as a few local artisan vendors. These are the food trucks that were there on 6/11/21. To keep track of the food truck schedule, like and follow them on their Facebook page. They also post the upcoming schedule on their website. You do have to walk down a sandy slope to get down to the food trucks, which may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Unaccountably popular. It’s a bunch of food trucks parked in a circle on a bare dirt lot. If the trucks that day are good you’ll eat ok, but don’t count on finding somewhere to sit - there are way too few tables. Go to Green Acres instead.

I love nekter and was super excited when they finally opened here, but it’s been slowly going downhill. Their bowls have slowly gotten more watery even when picking up fresh and eating in store. And the way they’ve chopped up fruit has gotten worse also. My photos are comparing to when they first opened to our order this morning (granted it’s more fruit I guess) but I just feel like the quality has definitely changed.

I went to Nékter today and had such a pleasant experience. I knew I liked the açaí banana berry bowl but wanted to try something different. The cashier, Brie, was so kind and helpful in trying to determine what I might like. She asked me a couple questions about flavors I liked and didn’t like, and we decided on the radiant raspberry bowl. And I’ve gotta say, I’m impressed. Loved the service, loved the product, and I will be returning here again. Thank you for the good experience. Oh, and btw, the radiant raspberry bowl isn’t vegan, just in case that doesn’t fit your dietary needs. But, they do have some excellent vegan options!

Quite literally met the rudest and weirdest people i’ve ever encountered today at this place. Completely empty. No reason to be rude or grumpy right? Walk in and the emo girl is speaking in a whisper, basically ignoring us. Acted like we were causing her problems just by existing. I think she’d be a better fit at a mortuary. Looked at us like we weren’t supposed to be there or something. And when we say thank you, and leave saying goodbye. we were met with the coldest, meanest, quite scary, dead looks on our way out with no response. where do you find these people??? was it their first day on planet earth?? As a service worker myself I gotta say i’m disappointed in the lack of just general social skills lacked here. Waffles were good tho.

The menu offers a variety of delectable options, from mouthwatering filet and salmon to a burger that's so generous you'll likely want to share or save some for later.
We've been here twice and both times the drinks, food, service and atmosphere have been excellent! The meatball appetizer is great. We recently tried the dill pickle pizza which was a special recently. It was a delicious version with chicken, bacon, lots of cheese and of course dill pickle chips. The fish and chips are also really good although the coleslaw is bland. The butter cake is a yummy dessert to end with. When the weather is good, it is so nice to be able to relax and take in the fresh outdoors. Gracelin was our server on our most recent dining experience and provided excellent service. The managers also do a great job checking in with all the tables to make sure everyone is satisfied. Although it's off the beaten path, it is worthy!

A new upscale spot offering good food with scenic golf course views. The atmosphere and service were both good, the kitchen was a bit slow but the quality of the food was all good. I asked for the burger medium and it came out well done but still tasted good so no reason to send it back or anything like that. Salmon special was good too. The restaurant itself looked very nice, the music didn't match that vibe as it was more 80s pop hits so that was a little strange. A welcome addition to an area with few restaurants and I'm sure the kitchen will get faster as they get their flow. They also have lots of couches and comfy chairs, nice cocktail lounge vibes and they have an outdoor space with fire pit tables.

There were very few signs to show where to go. We started with meat balls for an appetizer. They were savory and moist but probably not something I'd get again for an appetizer. I got the fish and chips, both were very good. The coleslaw was too wet for my taste and the cabbage was limp and lacked a nice crunch. My wife got the pesto chicken. It was great. We had the creme brule for dessert. It was good. The service was very good.

New restaurant in Kuna, hidden in a 55+ community but don’t be deceived. Beautiful place, food was great service above par. Not that many choices on the menu but good enough. Next time we will try the million dollar burger and hot wings. Overall great experience and the chairs by the water was a plus. Felt relaxed and was able to take in the sun.

I had to try this place multiple times to make sure it wasn't just a fluke the first time. Each time we have been here, the service has been amazing. We have tried many different items on the menu and have yet to not like one. The filet is amazing! So is the Salmon, and the burger! If you order the burger plan to share it or take some home for later. The atmosphere and vibe is really inviting. There are lounge chairs inside and on the patio welcoming you to sit and enjoy drinks, apps or desert. They are a cashless restaurant so bring plastic.

We came here for my birthday lunch and it was incredible. The food was delicious, atmosphere amazing and service was top tier! Reese was our server and she was so friendly with our kids and brought me out a special birthday dessert too. She also took a photo with my kids who absolutely loved her! We’ll be back!

River Six, what a surprise in Kuna. Near Falcon Crest in the private community of Trilogy Valor, but the restaurant is open to the public (lucky us.) Barely open two weeks, I was pleasantly surprised. Similar fare to Fork in downtown, the food is good, atmosphere gorgeous and the staff was super friendly. I had the grilled sesame salmon, that was cooked perfectly, light and fresh. They can work with some G.F. and Vegetarian options. My dinning neighbors were enjoying the cheesy bread and cast iron meatballs. The couple I chatted with on the patio had ordered the classic white pizza. I highly recommend checking them out, with the golf course there and the weather getting nicer they will soon be packed. Reservations on Open Table are recommended.

What a gem! The butter cake was next level—so moist and delicious, I’m still thinking about it. The meatballs? Also amazing. Their cocktails were super tasty too—perfectly balanced and just the right kick. Prices were great for the quality, and the servers were all super friendly and on it. Can’t wait to come back and eat my way through the rest of the menu!

I ordered a Chicken cake for my granddaughter’s birthday (her request), and they delivered 100%. She was beyond thrilled with it. Not only was it cute, but it tasted sooooo good. A few months past I ordered a puppy cake for another granddaughter and it turned out adorably.

Everything here is beautifully made and everyone is so nice. A little bit of chatter upfront and tables that needed some attn, but all in all! DELICIOUS The lady at the counter said hi the minute we walked in and I love that! I WILL BE BACK! Thank all of you beautiful ladies for a wonderful visit to your establishment and our excellent donuts! BTW the cakes here are absolutely beautiful and worth the drive if not in Boise already 😍 🤩

This was my first time using this location, and I was very pleased with the overall experience. The ordering process was smooth, and while I initially thought the price was a little high, it was well worth it. We ordered two 1/4 sheet cakes—one with raspberry filling and the other with strawberry, both with whipped cream icing. We also added custom pictures to each cake, and they turned out great! The presentation was beautiful, and our family really enjoyed the taste. The store was very clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this bakery for your next event—you won’t be disappointed!

I was thoroughly impressed with the cake I ordered a couple of days in advance. The online ordering process was smooth, and I was able to provide detailed descriptions of my request. Within a day, I received a call to confirm my order and process the payment. The cake itself was wonderfully moist and fluffy, and while I'm not usually a fan of fondant, I really enjoyed theirs. Overall, it was a great experience.

Pastry perfection did our wedding cake and cupcakes this past weekend and they did not disappoint We had the cutest heart cake in the most beautiful cupcakes! Not only did everything look beautiful, but it also tasted delicious! They arrived on time and got everything to the refrigerator so we could put it out just before the reception started . Their team was so sweet to work with and very responsive whenever we call to verify detail details . We absolutely loved our cake and dessert, desserts and we absolutely loved working with them. We definitely recommend them!!

Danielle helped me 4 times in July. She always had a friendly smile on her face and was patient w/ me when choosing from so many yummy choices. The cake, cookies and cinnamon cake donuts were fantastic this month. I have been a loyal customer for about 15 years. Keep up the good work team. Keith.

Pastry Perfection saved me! I make cakes for friends and family, and their Whipped Cream Frosting is the best I've ever tasted. I had planned on making my own, but it just wasn't as good. So I took a leap and called to see if they sell their icing. And they do! This saved me so much time and money and was loved by all who tasted it. Thank you guys for bailing me out (credit was given to you), and making such amazing icing.

Donut shop
Nestled in the heart of Boise, DK Donuts stands as a beloved institution that has been satisfying sweet cravings for over two decades. This family-owned gem is renowned for its classic offerings, including bear claws, apple fritters, and an array of filled donuts. A standout favorite among patrons is their delectable maple bar topped with crispy bacon bits—a unique twist that keeps customers coming back for more.
got a small milk, small frappucino drink, 2special donuts and 1/2 Dzn regular donuts for under $20. the bearclaw is enough to share and so is the twist. yummy :)

So glad that this place is staying open here after all! The braided maple bars with chocolate drizzle never disappoint.
Max H — Google review
Genuinely the best donuts I’ve had to date. I didn’t realize how incredible these donuts are until I moved to Salt Lake City, and I am still on a hunt for a donut place that even comes close to DK. The donuts are beautifully fried, fluffy, and the perfect balance of sweet. Their maple flavor is unmatched.
Henrik G — Google review
Always the best old fashioned donuts. So soft and perfect amount of sweet. The staff was so exceptionally kind and patient. Very excited for their Nampa location to open!
Hayley L — Google review
When the history of Boise's downtown donut scene of the mid 20s is written, where will DK shake out in the mix? You might think this family-owned shop is a self-styled "Donut King" but no, those initials come from the father of the previous owner (your reviewer does ask questions on visits). And the setting is far from royal. Just a typical low-key no-frills popsicle stand with a glory of a case. Some real beauts (love that big Fritter!). Savory options are limited to a fine ham and cheese encased number. Quite hearty. I was an enthusiastic new patron. So eager was I to cast my lot with these immigrants, and to regularly imbibe in their offerings, that I decided to visit daily—I would visit late morning, for my second cup of Joe, and a donut. When a staffer goodbye'd me with "see you tomorrow" (as I'd heard regulars be told), it was not a small victory. When I overheard the staff lament a slow morning (“it’s always slow on Mondays… for some reason”), I strove to find a way to bolster that first week-day (Insta Post, Promo?).. Their problems became my problems; their dreams, my own. And yet some irregularities presented themselves, which darkened the color I view Team DK. Darken indeed. The front window - spanning the full frontage of the structure facing State Street — is tinted. No looksie inside. Why? They have their reasons. This opaqueness combined with a random store closing to doubly frustrate me. I arrived at High Noon on a Wednesday, but the door was locked. Peering in through the “window”, I see Nothing. Darkness. What gives? I asked an employee the next day. She said they had to close unexpectedly because they ran out of donuts. “All sell” she said. (maybe, between Mondays “slow” and Wednesdays barnbuster of a morning — one can only imagine the circumstances of the sell-out — there is a Just Right level of donut sales. Often, unless the handsome, chubby second-generation family member is on hand (rare), I have to clear my ears and ask and ask for a repeat answer, because I do not understand the ESL response. Which raises the elephantine issue—Language. Could not the family hire native English speakers? Is there some Boise Department of Inclusion and Diversity forbidding hiring Americans into a foreign-owned business? It seems like a win-win if they could bring in some help that would smoothen transactions. But you can also see, in this homogenous but generous burg, how the shop might be Preserved, its cute contents (including staff) sealed. And thus the Boise Nice can keep them as pets. [ “See?”, a local baron lumbers with an Ore-gone pal back into his 4-ton truck holding a tray of Maple bars, “we weh-kim oil khynes heh” ] Friends: this writer believes in multiculturalism. The fabric of this country. I’m not dissing or dismissing the plight of Cambodian refugees, their post-war experience and export to our shores, and courage to do the family business over and up in Idaho. Not at all. I’m saying, we should be able to respect that, AND to also.. Just. Order. A Gosh-darn. Donut. (or 3).. As I said, it’s a win-win, which is what America is about: the newcomers make their way (assimilating to some proper extent) while enriching the lives of the locale with their unique perspective, history, culture. Imagine how helpful it would be to all involved (customers, employees, ownership) if say, a 16 year old local gal, say, name of Jennifer or Laura… doggone it—say, Madison . Well imagine what an impact that would have on dear Maddy’s education, life lessons, if she could clock in for some hours away from Ma and Pa’s Tire Shop, and learn the donut (or is it doughnut?) arts from the Cambodian family? And in doing so, let the English-speaking customers ask, and order, with timely, accurate responses? But that’s not in the cards. Got a good Boston Creme though.(Call ahead).

Head over early and grab yourself some of the softest and yummiest donuts in town. I love the old fashion blueberry one and my husband loves the bacon maple one. We just recently picked up some of the sprinkle donuts for a baby sprinkle we were hosting and they were a hit!

I've been going to this place for 15 years. And still makes fresh donuts. They're amazing family hard worker. Now that I've moved to downtown Boise, I'll be going there more often. If you love an old fashioned donuts well you found it. This is the place to stop by!

Very dark and cluttered. Lady at counter was rude. Food tasted old. No place to sit. No public restrooms. Not alot of doughnut types. Man in back was outside, then came in, and he didn't wash his hands. Touched food. I threw my food away and left
