Edge Brewing Company is a vibrant brewpub that serves up a range of in-house beers alongside classic burgers and sandwiches. Founded by the owners of Homebrewstuff, this brewery has been pouring an array of brews since February. With a focus on variety, they offer staple beers and ciders, rotating taps, seasonal releases, and experimental B-side Bombers. The food menu is equally impressive as it's crafted by trained chefs.
They have a few vegan options on their menu! I recommend the 5 Grain Bowl with tofu; it's really tasty and satiating. I asked and was told there is no dairy or eggs in the breading for the onion rings, and they are also really tasty.

Stopped in while in Idaho, they had a very friendly staff, casual environment, some great local art on the walls. There was a bit of a wait for the order but we could see the chef was doing what he could and keeping up with the crowd. While we waited, our waitress kept checking to see if we were good, keeping drinks full, and if we needed anything, which was nice. When we got the order, it was worth the wait. Very good food, great selection of drinks, and it had its own unique flavor. If I pass through here again, I’d love to visit this place again. Very happy with our choice to stop.

We were referred to this place by a friend. We stopped in at happy hour and had some great ‘apps’ and good beer (several types). They even served their Belgium style beer in the appropriate glass! The poutine was fantastic - smoked brisket over crispy fries with great cheese Kurds from Ballard Cheese. We then sampled several seasoning on wings. The peanut sauce was very unique and tasty. The staff was great and they even have a way to reward the cooks - you can buy them a round of beers - we did! Also, when you first walk in - check the sign on the front door (picture attached) - great sign of the crazy times we have all been through!

First time here I was excited to try this place they got some good beers. The server was nice but the food took an hour to get, my beer took forever to get and had no head on it like it had been sitting for a while. My fish and chips were cold and only had 2 pieces of fish for 16 bucks I would figure I would of got more. Over all I was very unimpressed, only giving 3 stars for the polite server.

I'm giving 5 stars. Really quite delicious food. Innovative and creative flavors without being over the top weird. Great selection of beer and other interesting adult beverages. All this and fair prices. Now for the ugly - the WAIT. 20-30 for lunch from time of order and 30-45 @ dinner. But if your "Boise" patient and order lots of drinks - it is super worth the wait.
B J — Google review
Edge brewing is very cool. They have a nice selection of beer, something everyone on the beer spectrum. The atmosphere is nice and the food is very good, and filling. Fresh tasting ingredients and eye appealing. I will definately be back for some of there specials , events, and dessert. I had no room this last visit but if the dessert is anything like the regular food it should be great.
Jerimiah C — Google review
My husband & I came here yesterday for the Valentine's Day four course meal, and it was incredible. All the dishes were unique, and we loved all four courses. Every meal was paired with one of their beers as well, so it was pretty good deal. We come here often already, but this time was the best. :)

Had the fish and chips for lunch, not busy when I got there. It did get busy after I ordered, which taxed the 3 servers on duty just a bit. Fish was very good, nice and hot, very crispy. The French fries were just warm. They didn’t get cold sitting on a counter, since the cod was very hot. They must have been sitting in a tray for a while. This is why I gave a place I love to go to only 3 stars. The Meowthra IPA was very good. Didn’t get the server’s name, but she did okay, except for getting ketchup when I asked for it. She was busy running back and forth between customers. I don’t know why they don’t bring it with the entree. 90% of people who get fries usually use ketchup.

Steak house

Bar
Barbacoa Grill offers a unique dining experience with its inventive Spanish-American cuisine and open-fire grilled steaks, all served in a vibrant and stylish atmosphere. The restaurant's remodeled design is an otherworldly blend of gaudy, Gothic, plush, and exotic elements. It also features a wine tunnel, an open-air Luna Bar with water views, and a shisha-style Taz Lounge.
Our visit to the Boise Barbacoa last week of August was amazing. Due to traffic we decided to go early & arrived 30 minutes early. The hostess welcomed us without hesitation and we were seated immediately. The early morning rain cooled the evening to a perfect temp. Also, we were seated in a perfect area of the restaurant patio… see the video. After sitting down, we were served sparkling water and offered cocktails & appetizers. We ordered from Cole our awesome waiter who was friendly & helpful. The clams, bread & cocktails didn’t disappoint. Cole & his assistant checked on us to make sure all was good and water was refilled. At the same time telling us what the daily dinner special was and letting us know that it would be a good time to order. We both ordered the hot rock filet steak & cognac sauce with scallops and asparagus. Wow, all were delicious! From start to finish it was all 5 star! Even on the way out, many of the staff thanked us for coming. What a class act. Thanks to all & especially Cole.

A Birthday Celebration to Remember! We recently visited this gem of a restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the service was prompt, warm, and attentive—setting the tone for a truly memorable evening. Our group sampled a variety of dishes, with several friends opting for steaks that were cooked to perfection. I chose the swordfish, which was beautifully seared and bursting with flavor, while my wife enjoyed a comforting and delicious chicken pot pie that felt like a gourmet hug in a bowl. The highlight of the evening? A whimsical birthday surprise: a cotton candy dish that brought out the inner child in all of us. It was a delightful and unexpected touch that made the celebration even more special. Every plate was a hit, every bite a pleasure. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and a great experience.

I was here in late October and it was setup for Halloween attire. First off, the atmosphere here is excellent. It's a bit dark in the main room with such unique and beautiful artwork. There are seats near the window / patio are for views overlooking the large pond outside. I was here with my lady and her sister for happy hour, which I highly recommend. We had the calamari, crab cakes, fries and of course drinks. They were all excellent! We did make a reservation as it is always busy here and you are likely to not get spot without a reservation or be waiting a very long time. The staff here was great, helpful, courteous, also a great add the the atmosphere. Great place for date night, having high-end great meals or hanging with friends.

An absolutely fantastic dining experience! The fresh guacamole prepared right at the table was amazing — full of flavor and a great start to the meal. The meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding: our server was very attentive, helpful with recommendations, and always around when needed, but never intrusive — exactly what great service should be. Portions are generous, and the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. As visitors from Germany, we were truly impressed by both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

Dinner and a show. The atmosphere is unique with lots of visual interest. My only knock is I arrived without a reservation and was directed to the bar area and not a table with most of the restaurant empty. I ordered the 10 oz Hot Rock Fillet with Arroz con Cremae Rajas. The flaming congac sauce is a show. Steak and Arroz where delicious. Parking lot was packed with neighboring lots having some parking restrictions.

Started off with shots and an I’m Your Huckleberry — all day in the sun for my husband! Alex always greets us with the best service and a smile every time we come in. We had the habanero ribs and the chile relleno on the side — both absolutely delicious! We had stopped at Coa Del Mar earlier (which we also love), so we came in with some appetizers already in our bellies, but Barbacoa still hit the spot. 10/10 recommend — great food, amazing drinks, and even better service!
CrySs G — Google review
This is a restaurant for special occasions. You definitely want a reservation as many people must have special occasions as it was buzzing both times we visited. The atmosphere is unique. It is like visiting a museum with the amazing art on display. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. If you still have room try one of their delicious desserts The flaming ice cream cake is a show in itself and the cotton candy is tasty without being sticky. The best thing is the service. We have been fortunate to have Sierra as our server. She exemplifies great service, volunteering to take pictures of our party and providing great insight into the menu and the restaurant.

Steak house
Kahootz Steak & Alehouse offers a variety of traditional American dishes and a selection of craft beers in a relaxed setting. While other local bars are known for their chicken wings, Kahootz takes it to another level with their generously sized Pterodactyl Wings, which are seasoned and baked to perfection before being coated in their signature hot wing sauce. Although the overall experience wasn't exceptional according to some reviews, the staff was praised for their excellent service.
I went here with a friend and got the Reuben sandwich with fries. The Reuben was extremely good. There was a decent bout of meat but somewhat typical for most places. The cheese, sauerkraut, and sauce was good. The phrase are thicker fries than average and have a seasoning on them. Overall the food was good, but it’s a little on the pricey side at $19.
Ben M — Google review
I came to Kahootz and was welcomed by what you'd expect of a locally owned Idaho watering hole I.E. knowledgeable bartender, early greeting, open seating options with just enough hospitality, multiple refreshing drink or appetizers offered without much delay, and a good balance of family friendly options like soda but an impressive display of tap handles that took me on a journey of national favorite, through local selections, and even into a few chilled wine selections. I found the vibe and selections quite comfortable and after an easy selection and a pleasant conversation with the bartender Roger, I looked over the menu and was honestly surprised at the selection. Instead of fried everything and be a few sandwiches, I was being offered multiple steak cuts, prime rib specials, creative takes on classics, and not only a weekly special, but a Fresh Look on an entire menu created by the chef and his team, primarily displaying local ingredients or influences. I choose a Manhattan cut filet because I don't prefer bacon wrapped. I got the loaded baked potatoes, the veggies that accompanied it, and I chose to add on the snow crab. It came accompanied with a firm slice of bread that I was very thankful for after requesting raw horseradish and au sous from the kitchen (yeah they had em on hand in this "bar"). I could write 4 pages about how that food is worth every penny... But I'm going to save that for a blog, as this post is long enough. I'm no expert but bang for the buck, Kahootz is the best I've seen in a while. If anyone has a rival, man I look forward to trying it too as the culinary world in Idaho is FINALLY expanding.
Aj C — Google review
Our trip to Kahootz was on Monday, the 21st. Nice restaurant in Meridian on Main St. A cozy atmosphere, not real big and they don't take reservations. I would suggest early dining. I had eaten here before I became a Yelper. The menu is not too extensive, letting them concentrate on their great dishes. I didn't get them this time, but try the Pterodactyl wings. It is an appetizer, but order a side and it's dinner. I ordered the pork chop with taters and a salad. The chop was a generous portion and well seasoned. The potatoes were nice and soft, perfectly done Only one drawback, I ordered it medium since I like a tiny bit of pink in my pork. It wasn't pink at all, but still good, just not as tender as I think it could have been. I do realize every eatery is concerned about food safety. The bread pudding was also good. The wait staff is excellent. We couldn't have been happier with the service.
Gare B — Google review
Both me and my husband had steak he had prime rib and. I sirloin steak. I order mine medium and he did too. I got mine with side salad he had asparagus and he had the loaded potato with bread I ordered fries. Both steaks were ordered medium they were greatly seasoned ( yum) the only disappointment was that both our sides were cold. So we had a great deserts the huge mud pie ice cream. We sat outside was nice temperature.
Michaela — Google review
Decided to give this place a try due to the ratings. The service and atmosphere was awesome and the food was delicious with the exception of the French fries. I feel like they were a bit undone or perhaps that's how they are served? I feel like its a bit overpriced for traditional American burgers, but that's just me. Also, my water glass wasn't fully clean/washed.
Melissa B — Google review
Our favorite steak house. It’s small and quiet. Tucked away back in the shade. Great beer selection best steaks that melt in your mouth. Best Prime Rib on Friday. You can’t forget about the dessert. The pterodactyl wings are crazy too.
David H — Google review
Beautifully cooked steaks and excellent side dishes, plus some very cheerful and excellent table service made this a five-star experience. I had the 12 oz steak and my husband had the filet both with mushrooms on the side. Balanced with a dark Guinness the meal was fantastic.

American restaurant
Restaurant
Eureka! is a trendy dining destination that perfectly blends an industrial-chic atmosphere with a menu full of elevated American classics. Located in the heart of Downtown Boise, this spot offers outdoor patio seating equipped with heaters for those cooler evenings. Guests can enjoy a unique contactless dining experience where they can check-in, self-seat, and order directly from their mobile devices—making it both convenient and modern.
Review for Eureka in Boise, Idaho I recently dined at Eureka in Boise, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. To start, we ordered the Dragon Fruit Mojito, which was refreshing and had a unique twist that I really enjoyed. The Mac n Cheese Balls were a hit at our table; they were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, making them a perfect appetizer. The Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection and had a great seasoning that complemented their natural sweetness. For the main course, I had the Eureka Salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was well-cooked and added a nice protein boost to the salad. The mixed greens and other ingredients were fresh, making it a satisfying meal. However, I was a bit let down by the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. While it had good flavor, the pork was a little dry, and I felt it could have used more meat to truly make it stand out. The barbecue bacon burger was also in the same boat; it had great flavor but could have benefited from a juicier patty. In summary, Eureka offers a fun dining experience with delicious cocktails and appetizers. I would recommend giving it a try, but I hope they can improve on the meat portions and moisture for their sandwiches. Overall, I would rate my experience a solid 4 out of 5 stars!
Criselda S — Google review
Had lunch today at Eureka, and it was fantastic. We were greeted with a friendly hostess as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere is wonderful. The wait staff was excellent, friendly, and attentive. Additionally, the food and drinks were great! I had the seared Ahi salad. Delicious! Fried pickles were great too! I have to say it's my new favorite restaurant on 8th St., and there are several great ones down there. We sat on the patio and had a great time!

VERDICT: An excellent spot for a good burger and beer if you sit inside. FOOD: Aged Bone Marrow Burger with fries makes for an excellent lunch paired with the Blood Orange Hefeweizen (White Dog Brewery). The burger runs extra rich, but the hefeweizen really compliments it well to balance the meal. SERVICE: Quick seating and service. ATMOSPHERE: Outside atmosphere was perfect with just the right amount of dappled sun coming through, but it was quickly ruined by the intrusive, extremely loud music of Piehole. Overplayed classic rock does not need to drown out my lunch conversation. That said, if we even sat in the first row of tables inside Eureka, it wouldn't have been a problem as Piehole's speakers are wall-mounted facing outward and you're behind the throw. (I noticed this walking to the bathroom from my table.)

Nesled in the heart of Boise My last review was zero Stars except for atmosphere. This time they killed it so I'm back. I ordered the fish and chips. I'm here by myself and it's the most awesome experience. I've had it at a restaurant in a long time or the fish and chips. Fantastic! I got a spa day Margarita MFeR this tall kid that made it really knows what he's doing. I sat at the bar. It's been a really good experience and food is five stars. They really turn it around. Must have just been an off day the first time good job eureka for turning my review from way bad to outstanding p.s tell your manger to calm down because these kids are killing it tonight

Visited with my partner and had a great experience with excellent service and tasty food. What we tried: • Appetizers: Cheese truffle fries (amazing dip) and cheese balls – absolutely delicious (10/10). • Drinks: Lavender iced tea (just okay), but the dragon fruit mojito was fantastic. • Mains: Napa chicken sandwich was average; spicy chicken sandwich was good but a bit tangy. Overall: A great spot – highly recommend trying the cheese balls!
Isha G — Google review
Food is usually very good. I’ve ordered several times through DoorDash but they consistently forget to put ranch in the bag for the Mac & cheese balls lately. Understandable to happen here or there but it’s happened about 7 different times in the last month. The gentleman on the phone was kind but just said sorry he’ll talk to his guys. Would appreciate a bit better solution then just a sorry.

I've been here several times over the last couple years and every time I leave with the same feeling. Meh. The quality of food to price ratio is low. $14+ for a mediocre burger and no fries (+$4). You're better off going across the street to Bittercreek. This time I was with a group of 6 and everyone got something different to try a few things out. The steak on the nachos and frites were bland, chewy, and flavorless requiring getting salt and pepper to add some flavor. Like I said the burgers were mediocre, even the smash burger which should be easy. The cheese steak and spicy chicken sandwiches were good. The service was good as well and on top of checking in on us. It's also one of those places that turns the music up as the night progresses so it does get difficult to have a conversation. Overall we just left feeling like the quality of food is not up to par with the prices.
Blake K — Google review
Our waitress Angela went above and beyond to ensure a phenomenal dining experience. She must have noticed that we had our young daughter with us while we were walking in, because she immediately brought "special snacks" just for her. That small gesture set the tone for what was to follow. Before ordering, Angela explained that everything was made from scratch, in-house. This was undoubtedly appearant when I scarfed down my salmon, mashed potatoes and fresh greenbeans. My daughter explained how much she loved her mac and cheese with her larger than life grin. The pecan cake at the end was heavenly! We will be back and we will request Angela!

Vons Chicken, a California-based restaurant with Korean-inspired recipes, has gained recognition for its delectable poultry dishes. The menu features an array of expertly prepared options such as hot wings, drumsticks, and combinations of both, all infused with tantalizing Asian flavors. Customers rave about the mouthwatering Oven Padak Chicken served in the traditional Korean style alongside pickled radish and coleslaw.
I loved the food and I absolutely loved the chef! He reminded me of my Grandfather always making food for his friends and family!! I will for sure come back and bring as many friends as I can!! I've never had fried chicken as good and Vons!! I highly reccomend trying their chees hotdogs!! They were a great appetizer!!

Amazing food but better than that is the staff. Exceptionally friendly. Crispy chicken wings are a must. Big bang for your buck.

My dad and I finally made it in to try Von's Chicken and we will absolutely be back. The staff were wonderful; the owner was very kind and patiently walked us through the menu, explaining what each item was. I ordered the ½ Oven Padak Chicken (pictured) and it was fantastic. Von's serves chicken in a traditional Korean way, with a side of pickled radish and coleslaw, both of which were also delicious. The half-order was more than enough for lunch, and a box of leftovers. I will be back to try more of the menu soon.

I'm very impressed with this fried chicken! Absolutely delicious, fresh, and crunchy. It was my first time trying Korean fried chicken. Very nice family running the place, they were really sweet and helpful. Also ordered cheese fries, which were a little weird for me, but my son loved them. I will be back!

Was a mixed bag of chicken because we tried well a few kinds. And it's a solid fried chicken place, though one flavor some kind of garlic paramsan sugar one was strange but nice but weird but i want more. I say worth a shot, because not my favorate korean fried chicken place but it had some interesting options i liked.

I’ve been here before when they first opened. Mid chicken, very dry. Even though they’ve been open for a while it was still dry and tasted so-so. The kimbap was definitely the trader joe’s frozen kimbap… not good. It was warm and squishy with a weird flavor. We also had kimchi jigae soup, which was ok but could have been better. I also ordered a sweet tea that tasted a bit like dish water.

The owner and staff are friendly. They made great suggestions. I tried the teriyaki chicken and rice, chicken sauce was different. I prefer the spicy boneless chicken. Spice was sweet and had a good kick.

It’s very refreshing to see traditional Asian cuisine that hasn’t Americanized its food. The chicken Vons offers has an remarkable, unparalleled crunchiness. The chicken also tastes lighter compared with popular fast food chains. In fact, I somehow managed to consume a full plate of wings without the typical feeling of being weighed down from too much fried food — often accompanied with a second feeling of either regret or a form of self-loathing. Compared with Vons Chicken’s quality, the big brands need to learn a thing or two from the owner-chef.

They took me right in. Hot shower, bed and hot meals served daily. Staff was friendly. Very clean place. Almost felt like a type of minimum security prison. You only need to do a small chore about 20 minutes a day and you need to get a job ASAP obviously. Check in is @ 8:00. They provided everything I needed, toiletries, clothes, clean bedding. Everything was great until telephone size Bibles were being placed on my bed. It felt like the police were working among them. Like a giant rats nest full of snitches. On the other hand, it was very professional and run correctly by the management. " Great food"

I had to stay here for a few days before. Staff was very respectful and nice. They offer allot here. And I have seen this place change lives for the better. They always serve food breakfast lunch and dinner and have clothes and hygiene for people who don't have much. No sense of forgiveness towards homeless people that had a bad day and came and maybe hurt one of the rehabilitated staff members that work there by saying something that hurt there feelings or complained about the service... All the staff that work there are alcoholics and meth and heroin addicts that are full of themselves because there in a safe place instead of on the street like the people they serve.. the staff that were in the program forgot where they came from and personalize and have no passion for the purpose of ending homelessness...

Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery in Boise is a unique dining destination located on the historic Basque Block. Housed in a former warehouse, the spacious brick venue offers a blend of Northwest cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. The menu features an array of delectable dishes such as charbroiled salmon fillet with sun-dried tomato butter, New York steak with blue cheese butter, and inventive cocktails like the cantaloupe cooler made with Bardenay vodka.
I managed to grab a few pictures of the place during a slower hours. Outdoors and indoors seating, seat yourself, I never waited in line. During a business trip I found myself returning many times because all the food I tried had unique variety of flavors. And there is just about a price range and a flavor pallet for everyone here I feel. If you drink, they have large selection on tap and a bunch of specialties. I posted those specialties in the pictures. If I couldn’t make up my mind for a place to eat, I just showed up here in downtown Boise. From soups, to steaks, to fish, to wanting a full meal to wanting a lighter snack, they had something. And it all tasted unique to me. Servers were all pretty kind and fun to talk to as well. This will become a stop for me next time I pass through Boise.

I went to Bardenay for a lateish lunch. it was self seating. Me and my parents sat down and waited a bit for the server to bring us some water and an extra set of silverware. The food was well prepared but I found underseasoned. This might just be local taste? but I wasn't very impressed. The beer was fine, but the mocktail was good!
Peter G — Google review
Very good food! Went during the basque festival, so very busy, but they still managed to have a seat for two of us rather quickly. The food was fantastic, especially given our entrée was fish, which this far inland is hard to find good fish/seafood of any kind. The service was fast and helpful as well. Highly recommend the sea bass gnocchi or one of the trout dishes. We also had the greek fried idaho cheese, which was to die for. Had no room for dessert by the end, so we will be back to try that next time. The only downside is that it is a very open setting, so kinda hard to hear sometimes when it is busy. Still recommend for a date, get together, or any other occasion!

The food and service were good. I recommend the burger. Beers were great. The only thing I didn't like was the Ahi seared tuna, which I think was cooked too long Otherwise, it's in a great location.

Incredible experience, the atmosphere was fantastic, spooky decorations were fantastic. The staff was fantastic and attentive to group needs and special dietary needs. The Tenderloin Mushroom Pasta was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked to medium.

Good location downtown. Great and fast service. Good beer selection, plus some of their own spirits mixed in with a lot of classics. Food is also excellent.
Chad N — Google review
Great service and the food was delicious. Our cocktails sounded amazing on the menu -- creative expressions with a wide variety of spirits...but in actuality they tasted really basic. Ex. My Forgive & Fernet sounded complex and nuanced, but it was delivered as a simple whiskey sour without even a garnish. Not bad, but not as advertised either.
Michael H — Google review
First time visit. Near our hotel so we could walk. Seated right away. We had made it in time for happy hour. We ordered the wings for an appetizer, Dinner was tenderloin mushroom pasta, this was tender meat, cooked perfectly with the pasta and mushrooms tender and melt in your mouth yummy. Cod and chips, first batch was cold, asked our server for a warm order of this, came back with a fresh made order, fish was hot, nice crisp on the outside and fish was good. Fries were hot, coleslaw was a nice compliment to fish. Lemon drop martini, Sunday paper martini- spicy and old fashioned

Gramercy Park Pub & Grill is a laid-back eatery that serves both Italian and American cuisine, alongside a wide selection of craft beer and cocktails. With a contemporary atmosphere, this neighborhood bar offers an authentic experience, distinguishing itself from nationwide pizza parlors with arcade games and cheap mascot costumes. The food is delicious, and the staff is quick and friendly. Noteworthy dishes include the Maple Whiskey Bacon Burger and cauliflower wings with four different dipping sauces.
We decided to try this place out for lunch. The service was top. Our waitress was great, even asked what sauces we would like so we didn't have to ask for them after our food arrived. We started with the gyro fries, they were yummy, Like Parmesan and Alfredo over the fries, so good. I had a spicy bloody Mary. Perfectly spicy and tasty. My buddy had the fish and chips with the jalapeno tarter. The tarter was a bit spicy for us. I had the swisser sub I believe is what it was called. A huge portion couldn't finish half, was very delicious. The maple burger my sister ordered she enjoyed. Too much maple for my liking. The chicken Parmesan, the noodles were melt in your mouth good and I didn't know noodles could do that. Huge portion as well. All in all delicious food, great prices for the portions.I only got a picture of my bloody Mary unfortunately. We were too excited to eat the delicious food.

Great service! Food was OK. Nothing really stood out. Good Happy Hour deals, tho. The atmosphere was like a typical strip mall brew pub joint. Lots of beer options, and multiple TVs showing the game.

Haven’t been here in a while and decided to give it another go. Service was fantastic. I felt like the timing of food was spot on and our server was always available. They have a great priced happy hour from 3-6 that we caught the tail end of. Had a couple beers, Cauliflower Wings, Pub Salad with added pepperoni and the Whiskey burger. The Cauli wings were just a shade undercooked and not very well sauced. Whiskey burger tasted great and the fries were good. Wife enjoyed the Pub salad and added pepperoni to it. If you’re a bourbon lover, they have a massive bourbon selection. I’d go as far to say one of the best in Boise. IYKYK

When you walk in you see the dining room. If you’d like to head to the bar it is through the dining room to the left. Very friendly hostess walked us to the bar. As we proceeded to perch and get comfortable we perused the drink and food menus. Our bartender was prompt and very friendly. She was also great with taking our food order. Started with the gyro fries and the sticky ribs. The ribs were pretty tough but the flavor was delicious!!! The gyro fries were also delicious! Then we moved on to the mushroom burger and the El Captain with no side and ordered the Jalepeno mac and cheese to share. HOLY DELICIOUSNESS!!!!!! We could not decide what was better!!! Check this place out you will not be disappointed! They have a great menu and everyone is super friendly!

Sad to say, it was 85 degrees outside and I was hotter inside than out. Not a good way to start. Appetizer was a flop. The French fries saved the food score. Our wait staff did a wonderful job and was attentive. Overall, a 3 thanks to the service and fries.

The food was alright I didn’t know I had to ask for sauce on the side tho. My server was heather and she made me very uncomfortable. She made little side remarks that really were just a little to out there and it made my husband and I feel some type of way. Will not be returning.

Great Find! I stumbled across this place when I was absolutely starving. It's located in a nice little business district. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked what was good and she said anything with pot roast! She was spot on! I tried the beef tacos and the were very good! You can't beat the pot roast meat. I also had a spicy margarita. The meal was delicious! The restaurant was still busy even after the lunch rush. There's a full bar that's to the back of the restaurant away from the main dining room. I noticed they have an outdoor patio with umbrellas. The ambiance is causal.

Lots of great experiences here! Just took my 11 year old daughter for lunch and they have the best hand breaded chicken strips! 10/10 she said. TY for not doing the Sysco thing, says a lot. My Organic Chinook Niçoise Salad was a 9/10. Great Restaurant!

Service and atmosphere were great. Food tasted delicious but unfortunately they did not listen to my strong, repetitive request of no garlic. My salmon and veggies had rosemary and tomatoes. So I asked again no garlic right? They assured me not that night I got really sick. Next day the leftovers were tasted by my hubby with a clean pallet (what I thought were tomatoes seeds were garlic cloves), was sick the next day too. Really disappointing for cost of food.

Diner here numerous times. Have had many waitresses and wait staff that are all lovely - Sarah stands out with her attentiveness and is always greeting you with a genuine smile. The Oysters, while they vary depending on what they have that day, can be really good! Usually get one of their fish dishes and it’s always delightful. Martinis are great, wine selection is fair. I really like this place and will keep coming back!

Hands down best Mac and cheese in the valley. Love their 3 course special at just $38 to start, but 4 stars bc everything isn’t always what you want and they do t allow for substitutions, like the couscous was gross and I couldn’t get mashed potatoes instead. Service is always great. I also really like their corn chowder soup.

Got in trouble from for singing to the table next to us. It's there birthday and we were celebrating our friend getting married. The manager came up and yelled at us for being loud and obnoxious we have to keep it down and no singing! We were not trying to be loud we simply sang the table happy birthday then we were quite. As we continue to dine they were rude and we felt like they wanted us to leave. We were willing to drop some serious money in steak and alcohol. We are very good tippers we appreciate a good establishment but unfortunately this really ruined our experience and totally killed our fun trying to celebrate our bride. If we could of got the check in left we would have. So rude and simply was unacceptable to treat your customs this way.

Paiyten absolutely crushed it. I have been going to BWW for my entire life and this was the best experience I have ever had. She is a very kind soul and I will be coming back to this BWW just to see her. Please hire more people like Paiyten!

You’d think a sports bar would be prepared for the draft, but they were not. We got the all you could eat wings, we were here at 5, and stayed until 9. We got 3 refills. We waited 1-1.5 hours between every refill. I can’t imagine failing so hard at the one thing I’m made for. Gotta find a new, capable, even mediocre sports bar for next time. But our waitress was really sweet
Becka W — Google review
We don't buy take out a lot due to the cost, but sometimes we have cheat nights-usually twice a month. We were excited for wing night, but seriously disappointed in the product we received. -One of our four boxes was mixed with another customers. Accidents happen. That I can write off. -Boneless wings were mostly crusty bread. Sauce was just tossed into boxes, no mixing, just sitting on top of the chicken (or underneath, not even sure how that's possible). I've worked customer service/retail all my life. I've had to take minimum wage in crummy situations. I get it. It's ok to hate your job, and your situation, but I've never taken it out on the customer. We're all struggling, no sense in ruining someones dinner with utter lack of care.

Our server Garrett was awesome. And the atmosphere, well it's BWW so great. But the food was honestly trash. Super dry wings. The fries definitely sat under the heating lamp for a long time. Just very disappointing

Ordered food online with this location and was told us to pick up the order in 15. I checked in multiple times and it wasn’t ready. I ended up coming in and out of the restaurant three different times to see if our order was up. It was only boneless bites and a sandwich. At the 45 minute mark I went in a last time and stood at the front where employees walked by without acknowledging me waiting. After another 5 minutes of standing up front I walked back to the kitchen line door to stand and wait. The night manger on 11/8 came out and basically shrugged it off. After making it back to the car all the food was ice cold. We checked in multiple times and wasted 45 minutes while the food was most likely sitting under a heat lamp getting old and they still decided to serve it to us. Don’t get to gos with this location.
Zayla — Google review
We came at 230pm on a Tuesday. The wait staff was very preoccupied with their own tasks and drama. They were not attentive to our needs. Lots of side conversations among workers. We ordered. The wings were dry, over fried to a crisp. The sauce was bland. They didn't mark which wings were which (we each ordered 2 flavors). The wait staff forgot our side salads. Wait staff also forgot our celery sticks and carrots. Never brought them. The only redeeming part of the meal was the iced tea, of which I drank 3 glasses and it had good flavor. The atmosphere had lots of sports TVs for watching. It wasn't too loud for talking also, which is good. I will not be eating at this buffalo wild wings location again. Both times it's been bad. The Boise location is fine though and does a good job. Our waitress also literally disappeared for like 20-30 minutes, and we had to ask one of the other employees for our check and to go box. Please take care of your customers when it isn't a peak time and if the waitress leaves to do other tasks assign someone to that table to take care of it. Also, find a better quality chef. And don't mess up orders. And forget about then once they're made. Just so many no's.
Andrew A — Google review
Our server was McKenzie. Let's just say, she is the WORST server that I have ever had!!! She never introduced herself, it was "Do you know what you want?" Then forgot my soda, had to grab the manager for that. She took 40 minutes to take our order after appetizers. She never one checked on us when we got out food. Our food was cold, and dry GROSS. And my husband had to flag her down each time we needed a refill. This place has really gone to shit to be honest. Even the manager seemed to be annoyed we flagged him down for my soda. And, a smile goes a long way. You can tell she hates her job.
Donna M — Google review
My whole experience at Buffalo Wild Wings was very good. My awesome waitress Paiyten was very knowledgeable with the menu as it was my wive’s and I first time in, and she was just a sweetheart. We were in a little later in the night, but the one thing that made our experience not so good was one of the managers. I wasn’t able to see her name tag, younger looking lady with black hair. To me it looked like she was belittling our waitress for multiple customers including ourselves to see. Hopefully this place can be better to their employees.

Taphouse Pub & Eatery in downtown Boise has been a popular spot since 2012, offering an extensive selection of over 40 draft beers on tap, including local brewers like Payette, Sockeye, and Edge Brewing Co. Customers can create their own tasting flights with 4-ounce pours or opt for pitchers and growlers. The pub also serves American cuisine for brunch, lunch, and dinner throughout the week.
Stopped by Taphouse in downtown Boise for lunch today, and once again, it did not disappoint. This place has really become a go-to spot when I want something flavorful without breaking the bank. The food is always amazing—each dish packed with flavor and served in just the right portion size. Whether you’re after a hearty meal or something lighter, there’s plenty to choose from. Service is always top notch. Our server today was very polite and friendly, checking in just enough to make sure we were well taken care of but never hovering. It’s clear the staff here genuinely care about their guests. We chose to sit out on the patio and soak up some sunshine, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating to fit any mood. Overall, Taphouse continues to impress. Highly recommend for a great lunch downtown!

Great place downtown. Not in a busy neighborhood. Very quite from the outside roads. Inside is very beautiful with the wood work. The food was very good. Wish inhad two stomachs to finish my plate. I highly suggest the jalapeño poppers. Get extra fig reduction on the side. You'll thank me later. You'll want to put that on everything. Definitely coming back! Thank you for helping with an amazing night with my woman.

Great place to eat! They’re known for their wings. I highly recommend their sweet chili and barbecue. I did a mix of both for my plate and it was amazing. Their party nachos are great for a large group of people. They also have a large selection of beers! Most places don’t carry sours but they do! I did the peach party. Taste great. I was busy eating but the wings were fantastic and the burgers that others bought looks great as well. Thanks for the hospitality Tap House!

Two words: rosemary fries. Taphouse lunch special CANNOT BE BEAT. Great deal, good food, good service. Seriously, those rosemary fries are insane. Tin Shed sandwich is unique and pretty dang good. Cool place, standard bar atmosphere but they have a nice indoor/outdoor thing going on for the summer. So far Taphouse is my favorite lunch in Boise!

Whether it's their renowned Burnt Wings or other mouthwatering options like ribs, burgers, or salmon fillets cooked in a fiery brick oven, there's something to satisfy every palate.
This place…the food, the old saloon decor, the street it’s on…everything perfect and delicious. The enchiladas were so flavorful and the churrasco as well. They source all their ingredients from local farmers and actually list them on their menu. They have their own bakery downstairs where they make the brioche-like pretzels, tres leches (to die for), flan, cheesecakes and more. Obsessed with the rabbit themed lodge room. 🐰🐇

Finally! A saloon done right. Our new downtown favorite spot. The drinks were excellent. The food was fantastic. The service was incredible - thanks, Spencer! 4 stars on the food because even though the Diablo Burger is the best green chile cheeseburger in town, it wasn't THE BEST green chile cheeseburger I've ever had. Also, my husband said there was too much chicken in the enchiladas (but he ate it all anyway because it was so good). My fries were easily 5 stars - and thankfully plentiful because my husband ate a bunch of those too.

Well my mom says the food all tasted the same and I guess it was kinda true. The apple pecan salad was good. The elote, pozole, and Mac and cheese were all quite similar. The veggie burger had good flavor but was a little dry. The cast iron cookie was delicious (definite recommend) though not actually cooked in cast iron.

Ate here for the first time with my husband and 2 young kids. We truly enjoyed our experience. Kate was our server and we loaded her down with 100000 questions from the start and she was so kind through everything and never seemed annoyed. She even included our kids in convos. My 6 year old absolutely loved the pozole (her first time having it). My 5 year old had the Mac n cheese (it does have a tinge of spice). They absolutely devoured the cheese curds and never usually eat them. They were so good! So much of everything there is homemade or local. The ketchup was amazing! The fry sauce is so unique but in a good way. Oh, I almost forgot about the deviled eggs. OMG sooooo good!!! I will get those every single time!! There is so much more we want to try so we absolutely will be back. I am so glad we were not disappointed. The food was very good. But again, our server Kate was amazing and truly made the experience so much better. Thank you! I forgot to take pics of our meals but we devoured them.

Really nice and casual experience. Food was tasty and average price. Service was friendly and quick enough considering there were only two servers covering the inside and the patio. The atmosphere makes up for any delay in service as it is super warm and casual. Great music playing and the patio is really comfy. This restaurant deserves more than 5 ☆'s I had an amazing breakfast and bloody mary and was so excited to learn they are so welcoming of your fur babies. Bella was blessed to meet the staff and to get a pup cup. Then they showed me they have their own menu. So I went all out and got her her very own hamburger patty. This place is on my list of favorite stops. (OH they even brought her a bowl of water, SERVICE HER IS AMAZING)

UPDATE: I've been to the Lift a few times since my initial review and every time can't have what I've wanted on menu cause they don't the ingredients or the cook of the week doesn't know how to make hollandaise. At this point I feel like my first visit with great food was actually just a fluke.(see review below) This evening I decided to have a burger because you can't mess that up too bad, right? The burger patty itself was literally flavorless... I didn't even know that was possible but the meat had NO flavor. It was obviously a hand made patty because it was falling apart and 1/4 of the bun had no patty in it. I'm changing from 5 stars to 3 stars only because the first visit was so good. I have no idea if I'll go there again... I definitely won't recommend it. My first time at The Lift. Went on a Saturday and had Brunch. I had the eggs Benedict with the spinach artichoke dip on it, I never would have considered mixing those two things but it was absolutely yummy! The service was outstanding and everything was clean. Had a bloody mary... their bloody Mary mix could use a little bit more flavor but for the price it was still worth it. They have a great little dog-friendly patio that I saw and can't wait to come back with my furbaby.

It was my first time in Boise and my wife and I decided to come here, I was not disappointed. They did make a mistake on my burger but quickly fixed it and gave me some complementary onion rings. I ordered a western burger and it was great! I loved the BBQ sauce they put on it and the onions rings were cooked perfectly. We brought our dog and ordered her some grilled chicken, she loved it. Overall the server was very nice and helpful and I would definitely come back to this place if I'm ever in Boise again.

Good food and service. We had the Spicy Guacamole Burger (husband said it was mildly spicy), Croque Monsieur (so cheesy and salty in a great way) with garlic parmesan fries (omg each one was seasoned perfectly!), and the Mac N' Cheese (very cheesy and very good). The atmosphere was okay except it was really hard to hear anyone at our table, but very easy to hear other tables for some reason. Also it was really cold with the AC blowing on us constantly. It looked like there were AC vents pointing at each table, so I don't think moving would've changed that. The server was very nice and the food came out quickly. Overall it was a good experience. I will most likely be going back again and I would definitely recommend it.

Come here a lot, usually just to hang out and have an appetizer and a few drinks, but never disappointed at the quality of either! Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and seems to attract pretty cool customers, too.

SLOW DOWN STATE STREET DRIVERS! youre missing this freakin gem hiding right in front of your faces & in plain sight! Stop on by & see what they have to offer. Im coming for that weekend brunch!! AND THEY OFFER A DOGGY MENU! 😭😭 thats so freakin awesome. Thank-You! That spicy guac burger w/fries was delicious. It eats like a homemade burger but with a little extra to it 🤤 VERY hard to find in this time & day. The fries were also as big as my Shrek fingers haha and tasty. The portion size definitely caters to what our society has gotten accustomed to as well. Thanks Eva for being there & serving us. You're very appreciated. Tastes like the surrounding area has some competition! Haha

Chicken wings restaurant
Wingstop is a laid-back counter-service restaurant that specializes in an array of delicious chicken wings and tasty sides. Originating from Texas, this popular chain has made its way to Nampa on 12th Ave and also has a second spot on Eagle Rd in Meridian. What sets Wingstop apart is not just their mouthwatering hot sauce flavors but also their unique rewards program known as The Club, making each visit even more enjoyable for wing lovers!
Make sure you check your order before you leave. Ordered 20 wings with 3 different flavors 20 minutes before close, only received 12 wings with 2 flavors after I paid for 20. I know y’all are teenagers who wanna go home but that’s not okay, get your shit together. I even apologized for being late as I just got off work and I was starving. Didn’t even give me ranch in the bag, had to ask.

I came in here and already the whole place was absolutely filthy, there was empty food containers and food on the floor but we were ordering to go so I just let it slide. I go and order my food from a women I don't blame for being visibly annoyed considering there's only one teen girl working the back and herself. I placed the order and waited with friends while watching 4 groups of people who walked in after us order their food, wait a DECENT amount of time, and leave before us. Eventually after waiting 45 minutes we decided to ask where the hell our food was (we asked nicer then that) and finally got our food from a different worker who walked in while we were still waiting and decided to check on us. After getting our food we just decided to go home and eat since it had been forever and we open the container to find the last straw. there was no ranch even though ai paid for extra and not even the correct amount of nuggets. Maybe i'm dramatic. Maybe i've just had a bad day. This absolutely sucked, i'm sorry to the SINGLE TEENAGE GIRL working in the back by herself. I'm pissed.

I've went here in the past and had terrible service. I had hoped that it was a one time thing, but I went again later and had an even worse experience. We waited over an hour for our food. They prioritized Door dash orders over in-store orders. At one point, some people came in who must have been friends with some of the employees. The employees sat with them for about 10 minutes talking and then made them an order over the rest of us who were waiting. If it were a one time thing, I'd be okay with it but I have never had good service here. I'd avoid this location if possible.

Order Togo for my birthday dinner and they got our order wrong. My husband called and they remade the order and he went to pick it up. The wings were pretty good, but the fries were the worst fries I've ever had. We threw out all three orders. The looked like day old fries and were soggy.

Absolute last straw with this location. I will be driving 4 miles to the other Wingstop instead of 0.5 miles from now on the get better service. I placed an order for 7:15pm. When I arrived the gentleman at the front told me 5 more minutes. I waited patiently as he called out names and handed out bags. I watched a kitchen staff put a bag, that I assumed was mine, on the shelf. The gentleman at the front looked at me multiple times and never checked once to see if it was ready. He left and I had to asked the kitchen staff 15 minutes later if it was done. It was in fact the bag I thought was mine. Time and time again this location has been slow, unprofessional, and doesn’t seem to care about their customers. I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Walked in here last night at 8:30pm. Ordered 2 10pc meals. It took them 57 minutes to make the meal. There were 5 employees in the back hehe-haha screwing around. One we were given the to go order I took it outside & the fries were cold (we also only received 1 order instead of the 2 we paid for). The chicken was room temp & very over fried. For $37 does anyone here know what they’re doing? Lack of management? Poor training? Lazy? Not sure how this place is profitable because the service / food experience was all trash.

I was thoroughly not impressed with anything about this place. The tables all are sticky and disgusting. The PIN pad to pay was absolutely gross and I mentioned it to the clerk, and so 4 employees seem like they are 16, and don't care at all. We waited for 25 minutes!!! for our food, and 2 customers with to go orders for their orders first!? Not sure why that happened. The food was lack luster and like a 2.5 out of 5

Horrible. Spent 45.00 and nothing was correct. Gave me ten plain boneless wings with no sauce. You are the worst. Customer service was horrific. So rude and the place was a mess. You should be ashamed to even open the door. Disgusting and horrible food. We need this place to shut down. Get a better restaurant in there who cares that we pay their wages. Smdh gross. Please read reviews before going to the one in Meridian on Eagle Rd. I didn't order plain wings. Soggy horrible fries.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. It has been credited by some as the pioneer of the chicken sandwich craze. The restaurant's loyalists claim it to be the original and the one that started it all. Customers have praised the friendly and professional staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and pleasant atmosphere with real flowers on every table.
This is the friendliest Chick-fil-A I've visited. They held the door open for our family, had quality place mats for the kids, and were just generally pleasant folks. The food was great too, fries were just about perfect. I don't often leave reviews, but I feel obligated to do so this time since, in addition to the great service mentioned above (which was already pretty much the best I'd ever receive), they went dumpster diving for my clear plastic retainer which I had left on my tray like an absent-minded dad. Not only did they INSIST on continuing to search even after I told them I would be able to get a replacement, after 30 minutes they actually did find them! Just stellar all around, worth the 5 star review.

I don’t like to be that person but I am a hormonal pregnant woman so I got really upset when I was on my lunch break and had ordered to pick up my food. I was in a rush and didn’t get to check my food until I got back to work to open my food and find my 8 ct nugget meal was now a chicken strip meal. I know it’s not a big deal but it made me want to cry as I was looking forward to my meal. I even double checked to make sure it wasn’t my fault but both the ticket in my bag and on the Chick-fil-A app said nugget meal.

From when we walked in to when we left the service was incredible. A girl named Maddi O. The restaurant was very clean and the food out fast and fresh! Would come back again! 😁

We came to Chick-fil-A for dinner as a family and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm, clean, and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the incredible customer service. Every team member was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in. You can tell they really care about creating a positive experience. Definitely one of the best fast food experiences we’ve had!

I’ve always had positive experiences at your locations, so I want to preface my complaint by noting that. However, today, September 23, 2025, at around 10:25 AM, the employee who took my order was notably condescending. My order totaled over $40, and when I pointed out that she missed a second apple juice after she repeated the order, she responded dismissively, saying, “Let me repeat the entire order one more time for you,” and still omitted the apple juice. At the window, the gentleman assisting me was exceptionally kind and seemed to go out of his way to make up for the interaction, which I appreciated, though I felt bad for him. Perhaps she was having a rough day, but the experience was unpleasant.

Fast food restaurant
KFC is a popular restaurant chain recognized for its signature buckets of fried chicken, as well as a variety of wings and side dishes. A recent visit to KFC revealed a positive experience, with a clean and well-lit dining area and attentive counter service. The crispy chicken sandwich was particularly enjoyable, featuring moist chicken, pickles, and mayonnaise for a satisfying crunch. Additionally, the fries were also noted to be quite good.
They were a little slow, but it was understandable. They were super busy and the food was fresh and delicious. Well worth the wait

Kfc has taken a hard nose dive and i don't think it can be saved - they overcharge for the 2nd cheapest meat on the market and its always more skin and bones then meat , the corn was horrible it looked like it went through a microwave 10 times , the mashed potatos an biscuits were the only decent food edible, for 40+ dollars i expect way more - albertsons 8 piece chicken is 8 bucks and the chicken is 5x better and hardier.
Matt M — Google review
Horrible and disappointing. Messed up my order and took 20 minutes for just counting fried chickens. They forgot to put ice in a cold drink and chickens were broken up in the box. No answer to phone call. They need to train employees more and teach them how to read the order sheets. “Fast food” is cheap and fast but they are doing opposite things.
Momoka T — Google review
Worst experience at kfc ive ever had. Fryer grease obviously needed a change, skin was a different color than its ever been and one piece looked like it had been mangled before being stuck in the box. Everything was shoved haphazardly in the box, biscuit right on top of the chicken and soggy by the time i got home. Butter packet for the biscuit was ripped and all over the inside of the bag. Got the new mountain dew and something was off with the mix, tasted like carbonated water flavored with dish detergent. Mashed potatoes themselves were decent but the gravy, like the chicken, looked off and didnt taste the same as it usually does. Surprised by the rampant lack of quality of the food and dissappointed i wasted my money on it. Won't be going back any time soon. Do yourself a favor and go to popeyes. Hell, even grocery store fried chicken is better than what these people are selling. 1 or 2 things and just i'd write it off as a bad night but this was horrible. I dont write reviews ever but they screwed up EVERYTHING.

Honestly not sure why we gave this store another chance. We ordered a couple combo meals. One of the entrees was completely missing. The potato wedges were overcooked to the point of being nearly rock hard. Attempted to call them about this after getting home and either get a busy signal, or it just rings endlessly. Had to drive there again just to get a resolution. One of the worst fast food experiences I've had in recent memory and will not be coming back to this location again.

I ordered spicy chicken fries and juice. The system tells me 5-15 waiting time, I enter the restaurant and wait more than 45 minutes and when my food is ready they call the name that was on the receipt, I answer and introduce myself, the lady asks me straight away for my ID, surprised, I ask her why she asks me for my ID given that all the time I was waiting I didn't see anyone being asked for their ID. And, she replies with a very loud and arrogant voice "I'm doing my job otherwise I won't give you the food" and she pulls the food towards her. I tell her ok you want my card when I take out my card, she looks on the order screen and sees in front of my name pickup order and suddenly she starts to apologize and I turn my head leaving her in her regrets.

We don't have this in my hometown, so I was excited to try A&W meal (corn dog specially) I order a hamburger combo and it was just sloppy and had so much sauce that it looks like they were just being rude. Which the lady taking my order was extremely rude. She shouldn't be in customer service. BTW this was on 9/12 @1p Then no corn dog (sad) but I do understand not getting a shipment in. What I don't understand is treating your customers with respect. I would avoid this place their service is terrible.

Korean restaurant
Chicken restaurant
Han's Chimaek is a laid-back Korean restaurant in Boise that specializes in serving delectable spicy and sweet fried chicken, along with tofu options and beer. The name "Chimaek" comes from the Korean words for chicken and beer, reflecting the establishment's focus on these offerings. Unlike American versions of fried chicken, Korean fried chicken achieves its crispy texture by rendering fat out of the skin rather than frying a thick layer of batter on top.
My bf told me about this place and at first, I wasn't wanting fried chicken and beer, but I'm glad he brought me here. There aren't a lot of Korean restaurants here in Boise and I wish there were more because, duh, Korean food is delicious! I ordered the Yangnyum Lunchbox and my bf got the Soy Lunchbox, which comes with white rice and a coleslaw. We also got the big Terra beer and split it as well and it went well with the chicken. I liked my flavor better than the soy sauce and I will recommend the yangnyum all day! There are 7 tables in this place, and I enjoyed the atmosphere, along with K-Pop music playing in the background too! The lady that took our order was so nice and from start to finish, the experience was great! I will Def recommend this place for awesome chicken!
Jewls504 — Google review
DELICIOUS is a understatement! You definitely need to try the Korean boneless chicken! I ordered that with the sweet and spicy sauce with a side of rice. The chicken was very moist and fresh and the sauce had a nice kick to it! My wife got the wings and she said the were good but had a slightly different taste. Our new favorite chicken spot for sure! 👌seating is small but very clean and still plenty of room. And it is a little expensive, about $20 a person, but it's worth it!
Jenni O — Google review
Oh my god this was so good. I got the lunch box with yangnyum sauce. 10/10. No notes. The breading was superbly crispy, the sauce was the perfect level of warm spicy, the pickled radish cut through the spiciness like a dream. Will definitely be coming back!
Noelle — Google review
This place was cozy. There was nice music playing in the background and the guy at the front helped us with everything. The food was incredible. The wings were really crispy while also being juicy on the inside. Flavors were on point. Also, having a friend to chat and have a beer made it all! It isn't that loud so it's easy to have a conversation. Definitely recommend.
Libbyton — Google review
I’ll absolutely say this might be the best fried chicken in Boise by far! I’ve been here a few times now which have always been great experiences. I’ve tried most of the menu at this point and haven’t found anything I didn’t like. Even the Tofu (which I’m usually skeptical about) was fried great and topped with great sauces like their Creamy Onion. That and the soy fried chicken are top tier! You can’t go wrong with any sauce really I recommend sampling each one!
Tyler G — Google review
Best fried chicken in the Boise area. We are so lucky to have a high quality homemade chicken spot like Han's. I've tried almost the whole menu both bone-in and boneless, except for the Tofu box. The food always comes out piping hot I almost burn my mouth on it every time because I can't wait to eat it lol. The Atmosphere is great it's so cozy. They have cable TV there so you can watch sports too. My favorite sauces is the creamy onion and the Yangnyum it just depends if i'm in the mood for something spicy. The takeout is deconstructed so the sauce doesn't make the chicken soggy which I really appreciate. Im a foodie and everytime I travel Im on the lookout for restaurants like this. This is my first and only google review so take that into consideration on how legit I think this place is. It's a must try!
Kenny A — Google review
What a satisfying meal after a busy day. I got wings with yangnyum sauce, rice, and pickled veggies (I assume that was daikon). So crispy and sauce is perfect, like a little sweet, a little salty, not spicy (for me). And what made it perfect was the rice that was 10/10. I know it's just rice, but the number of Asian restaurants that don't get "just rice" right is appalling. Btw, parking on the street in front or their shared lot on the side.
Lieuko N — Google review
I love this place. I would’ve loved it even more if I had known the name means wings and beer. Both the wings and the beer are excellent. But it’s not quite what you think of when you think of standard American chicken wings. We had the creamy onion boneless wings which were fantastic, and an order of the house specialty wings which were also very, very good. The Sierra Nevada beer was to die for, and tasted very good along with the wings. I also took a couple of orders of the sticky white rice, excellent! They say this place is affordable, and I thought it was a little bit on the expensive side. I know about the supply chain issues. But our bill with a tip for three people came out to over $95, and that was just worth three menu items and two beers. The server/cashier was friendly and helpful. There was constant K-pop videos playing on the big screen, and that music was pleasant to listen to. I am definitely very happy we experienced this place. The storefront and inside, it kind of looks like a low-key diner, but it’s quite the eating experience, and I would highly suggest it!

If you're on the hunt for a reliable pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza. This popular delivery and carryout chain boasts an extensive menu that goes beyond just pizzas, offering a delightful selection of sides and other dishes to satisfy any craving. One standout item is their traditional hot buffalo wings, which may not always get the recognition they deserve but are definitely worth trying.
I've been ordering from this Dominos for a few years and I can tell you that a 3 and a half star rating is too low. The California chicken bacon ranch is the bomb IF,you order it in medium hand made pan. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

I came in to order a pizza for take out after a long 12 hour day of working, and the girl taking my order did not listen to what I said, and seemed more focused in clocking out and getting into her ride that was waiting for her, because right after she took my order, she was out the door and gone. 25 minutes later my pizza was NOT what I ordered. I said that I wanted an XL Pizza, half cheese with extra cheese and the other half Hawaiian with mushrooms, olives and Italian sausage... what I got was completely backwards. On top of that, the order taker entered my order completely wrong. I felt like I wasn't even valued as a customer. To make matters worse, I called the next day to speak to the manager explaining the wrong order, and how the order taker was clearly not focused. I recommended that she received more training, as I didn't want to see someone getting fired for a mistake. The manager apologized then offered to make it right by emailing me a gift certificate for the error. (I spent $40+ on this order only to have wrong). I still havent received anything from the store. I feel like the manager just patronized me and still didn't value me as a customer. If this is their new business model, I will not be spending my hard earned money with them. Below is the photo of my receipt and a photo of the pizza, at bare minimum it should have had olives, mushrooms and sausage on the Hawaiian side, but nothing. And my poor child wouldn't eat the cheese pizza as he does not like mushrooms, olives, or Italian sausage.

You screwed up my order, then instead of trying to fix it you hung up on me. You never corrected your mistake and I can’t even place a real complaint. I have used this service dozens of times. You used to be reasonably priced and edible. Now you are overpriced and can’t even deliver a simple pepperoni pizza without screwing it up. Thanks for nothing, I guess now I know better

Order stated it was delivered on the dominos app, but nothing was delivered. When calling in to the store, Veronica was extremely short and seemed uninterested in helping with the issue. When saying the app stated the order was delivered and complete, the response was, "If there are any issues, the delivery driver will contact you." Please recognize that the delivery driver didn't have an issue and most likely delivered our food to the incorrect location, so they will not contact us. This is why we are contacting you. To help solve the issue, you brushed off easily and hung up on us before we could finish asking questions. Teach Veronica to be a little more professional when dealing with customers or ban them from answering the phone. I did call back later and spoke with another individual who seemed to be interested in solving the issue but did not get his name. Ultimately, we canceled our order entirely and went elsewhere. Hopefully, somebody is enjoying the mysterious pizza somewhere.
James G — Google review
I put a request to not cut the gluten-free pizza and it came cut. There was too much sauce, like literally a centimeter thick, with hardly any cheese. The gluten-free pizza was also over-cooked. I worked at Dominos when the gluten-free crust first came out and I know you are supposed to put it deeper into the oven than you would a regular hand-tossed crust. I'm sick of paying a ridiculous amount and constantly providing a 25% delivery tip for the pizza to be such bad quality. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOUR FOOD WOULD WANT THEIR FOOD MADE WELL THEN PROCEED TO MAKE YOUR FOOD WITH NO EFFORT. It doesn't get more hypocritical than that. This just keeps happening over and over again. It's just this location too. Other locations that I order carry-out from do not make such awful pizza. The constant burnt crust from Vista is not an issue elsewhere. I'm done ordering delivery from Domino's because I'd have to get it delivered by this terrible location.

online ordering gives no warning about menu items being removed. I placed my typical order from the quick menu option to order what you had the last time. with the removal of chicken from the menu as a pizza topping. I received a partial order of my usual. The only answer I got when I called in inquiry of this fouled up order. was from the worker Jade of, should have reviewed your receipt.

CRISP at The SPARROW is a popular food truck in Boise, known for its locally sourced and globally inspired dishes. The menu changes regularly, offering superb meals that keep customers coming back for more. Located in downtown, it's a vibey addition to the area with a super chill and fresh atmosphere. The smoked pulled-pork Wet Burrito and quesadilla birria are highly recommended items on the menu.
Hurry! Just buzz over here right now! What a vibey addition to this area of downtown! It's super chill, super fresh & super YUM! I was hoping to try the greek salad, but it was crossed off the menu for tonight so I went Full Send for the Wet Burrito! (haha!) I am SO glad I tried this! The smoked pulled-pork was delicious! The sauce was great, but my favorite bites included the green onions + cotija cheese toppings! The food was prepared quickly and I enjoyed eating my meal outside in their large courtyard type area! It had large umbrellas for shade & misters! I can't wait to try more on the menu! Great job!

Crisp at the Sparrow hotel is a great addition to downtown. I’ve had the smoothies, pork belly tacos, and beet salad, which have all been really good. But the quesadilla birria is my go-to and highly recommend with corn tortillas! They have a large shared patio with seating and never had to wait long for an order.

It's hard to believe just two people can pump out such consistently amazing food. Others have said it, but the birria quesadilla is outstanding. It rivals the one at Amano in Caldwell. My wife raves about the Coconut Curry Noodles and Schnitzel Sandwich. When you're ordering at the window, make sure to check out the specials board that's down at knee height. There's always something to tempt you away from what you intended to order! Even as the temperatures drop, you can cozy up to the outdoor fireplace or take your meal indoors. Form & Function in the lobby conveniently sells wine!

Excellent brek et lunch prep’d with love and care for YOU.. Husband and wife J and C are the most together of chefs, or most chefy of couples. Drawing from global experience and the local produce; bolstered by daring, and sharp instincts, J and C offer no-fail delicious breakfasts and lunches. They had (and have) a food truck, and now they’re shining out of this Spartan trailer. Hec, if they were working out of a ’95 Pontiac Bonneville they’d still find a way to deliver the goods. We do hope they thrive and not move on to a global hotspot. For it can be at times dispiriting to have so-little foot traffic in the block, nor much referral from the decidedly UN-bustling Sparrow Hotel. Well, good J and C, do know this: you are appreciated and we hold you dear. We GET it.. and we’d like to get more. This writer has often done so. Sometimes being daring himself, getting a special (never disappointed) or sticking to mainstay Pastrami sandwich. So filling! So tasty! The chips that give the biz it’s name make for a terrific side, along with the dippin’ sauce. One negative: early closing .. 2pm? Help Me, Rhonda… Suggestion 1 - loyalty program. these primo meals can set a body back, esp when adding well-deserved tip.. i'd imbibe more often if we got a discount. something like 9 meals gets the tenth for a buck... Suggestion 2 - fix the website link. when i click from google maps, brings up a strange empty page? i can help! Crisp is not gonna get reviews such as “well my daddy took us when we was little, and now we go and take the young ‘uns ‘cause ain’t that #boiseNice ? “ Oh no, friend. Crisp is new. No legacy. Not complacent. Never taking customers for granted. J and C have a place in the world of MERITOCRACY. And in that world they shall thrive. Let ‘em win you ova ! Theme Song: Mary’s Car by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers “ .. we want to go where SHE goes.. we want to listen to the ray-dee-OH .. “

Tried for the third time today and have been really happy with the food. Burrito, pastrami sandwich, and now the birria quesadilla (maybe my favorite so far) have all been great. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

One of the best meals I've had in Boise yet. Variety of items on the menu, fast/friendly service, and high quality food.
