BACON Boise is a casual bistro that offers a varied bacon menu for breakfast and lunch, including vegetarian options. The restaurant takes its bacon seriously, serving dishes like bacon lasagna, bacon burgers, and offering a sampler of five different types of bacon to pair with a bacon bloody Mary. Additionally, they offer delivery through their downtown 'bacon bike.'
The BEST cinnamon roll ever! It has a fully cooked, yet perfectly moist interior, complimented by maple and bacon. None of the flavors overwhelmed the others, making every bite superb. The cinnamon roll is also large enough to share! Hubby came for the bacon and loved the bacon shots... a flight of each of their bacon flavors. They were all so good that he couldn't pick a favorite! This was a stop for us while traveling cross country and definitely worth it! (edited for spelling)

Bacon Boise - A Bacon Lover’s Paradise! If you haven’t visited Bacon Boise yet, you’re truly missing out. This place is a bacon lover’s dream, and I’m not just talking about regular bacon – their in-house creations are next level. First, let’s talk about the Beignets – they are to die for! Light, fluffy, and warm, dusted with white powdered sugar, and paired with raspberry jelly. I just devoured five pieces without blinking an eye. Seriously, they’re THAT good. 😋 Now, onto the real star of the show: Bacon Shots. This sampler lets you try all of their signature, made-in-house bacon varieties: • Berryhill Bacon: Their traditional bacon, with a slight sweetness that makes it unique and absolutely mouthwatering. • Spicy Hot Bacon: If you love a bit of heat, this is your bacon. The peppery kick lingers on your tongue in the best way possible. • Maple Rosemary Bacon: Sweet, savory, and fragrant, with the perfect balance of maple syrup and rosemary. If you’re a rosemary fan, this one’s for you. • Candied Bacon: Perfectly sweet and addictive. This is definitely a favorite for kids (or anyone with a sweet tooth!). • Pantry Bacon: The rotating special – which has coffee on the bacon. While not my personal favorite, it’s still pretty tasty and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere at Bacon Boise is cozy and welcoming, with large wooden tables for families and intimate high-tops for two. The menu offers a great variety, from starters to hearty breakfast and brunch options. Plus, their patio is perfect for soaking up the sun on a warm day. Service is excellent and I enjoyed the conversation while enjoying the bar seats. If you’re craving bacon – or just a good meal in a fun and friendly setting – Bacon Boise is the place to be! 🥓. You can also purchase your favorite bacon for about $18 a bag to take with you!

First of all.. EMERSON! (I hope I spelled his name correctly) he was above and beyond with his kindness and customer service! We encountered another employee and she was not as kind. Emerson also went out of his way to make sure we were 100% and more happy and satisfied with our whole experience. The food was fantastic and we absolutely will be back! We ordered far more than we could eat so that we could try more! Very delicious! They have bagged bacon as well, my 10 he old son insisted we buy 3!

An amazing experience! The food is unique, service was quick. We had the bacon flight, French toast, Benny Hill, bacon and cheddar scones and beignets! Highly recommend going for the experience and the delicious food!

Got the “Arizona.” It wasn’t warm. Which is weird for fried chicken and gravy… I asked to trade it for oatmeal (thinking it’s a quick, safe option that’s easy to make hot), but the oatmeal was also cold. The self-serve drip coffee was hot though. So, I’d recommend that instead.

Soooo good! I got the virgin spicy bloody Mary with they're homemade bacon and it tasted like heaven! Pair that with the Benny Hill Benedict with chipotle hollandaise sauce, perfection. Will definitely be brunching here again.

I sat outside on a perfect Fall afternoon to enjoy me time. The patio is clean and the music is peaceful. The staff was really nice and the food is so good. I got the Boise Basin omelet.

Goldy's Breakfast Bistro, located in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho, has been serving up delicious made-to-order breakfast since its opening in 1999. The bistro takes pride in using fresh local ingredients to offer a wide variety of choices for their loyal customers.
Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro is exactly what you hope to find when you’re craving a cozy, delicious brunch spot that hits all the right notes. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh coffee wraps around you like a hug. Let’s start with the mimosa flight—absolutely a must! They were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced—just enough bubbles to kick off a great morning without going overboard. Coffee lovers, rejoice. Goldy’s takes their brew seriously. Whether you’re a straight-up black coffee person or a lavender oat milk latte kind of soul, there’s something for every caffeine craving. Their house blend was rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. Food-wise, everything was fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully delivered. The staff was upbeat and attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe in the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and full of happy energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick solo breakfast or settling in for a long brunch with friends, Goldy’s makes you feel like you’re in the right place. Highly recommend. Goldy’s is golden.

I have been wanting to come to this joint for a long time but with other local joints opening up and my husband's favorite breakfast joint we frequent, coming here was challenging. My friend wanted to meet up for breakfast and asked for some options. I threw out Goldy's and Goldy's was what we both decided on. It's late morning on a Tuesday, I didn't know how busy it was going to be. Walking in, I was greeted and was told my table options. It was nice to be able to get in so quickly. I have heard this joint can have quite the wait time but not today. Little did I know they have an upper dining area, I thought that was pretty cool. I opted for a table on the main floor. I was quite mesmerized by the chandelier with angel wings all over the bulbs. It was a beautiful piece to look at. I got my coffee dropped off right away. My friend and I did breeze over the menu for a while. We were like two chickens clucking trying to catch up. Our server was really patient and gave us a minute to buckle down and decide on what we wanted. For breakfast I got the 3 egg omelet with spinach, asparagus and feta. I passed on the bread and potatoes for fresh fruit. Everything came out hot! My omelet was busting out of the seams with asparagus. It looked hearty! You can see the feta partially melted on top of it. My fruit plate was vibrant! It was beautifully plated with berries, citrus, pineapple and apple slices. The berries were fresh and tart. The strawberry was so sweet. The blueberries were firm and tasty. The orange was fresh but bland. I didn't get to try the grapefruit but it smelled devine. The pineapple was my favorite! I had about half of my omelet! It was massive. I loved how much veggies was in the middle of it. The spinach and asparagus was cooked perfectly! I don't know what it was about the texture of the eggs but I didn't really like it. The eggs were stiff and not really fluffy. It was foamy like. I have had some omelets where the eggs are fluffy but in this case it wasn't like that. It was still good but it's probably something I wouldn't order again. I'm happy I finally got to check out this joint. It's a landmark for Boise and I can see why. It's tiny, vibrant and fun plus it's been around for years. I love the vibe here very much! Our server did a great job taking care of us today. Coffee was hot and the food was fresh. It was a great day to check it out. I finally get to mark Goldy's off my to do list.

Pros & cons: Pros: hosts & servers are super-nice. If they're busy & they usually are, they'll ask if you'd like to wait at Goldy's Corner just a few yards away, you can order coffee & pastries there, & they'll call you when your table's ready. Drip coffee is amazing. They have mango, guava, & other juices. Orange juice tastes fresh-squeezed. Lots of unusual menu items, influenced by Basque culture. Cons: the food, which was reasonably good, took forever, juices were lukewarm, Eggs Benedict's hollandaise was a bit lemony rather than savory, portions (sides) were a little small, grits had zero flavor -- even when you add tons of salt & butter, restrooms (only two stalls upstairs) are cramped, no handicapped stall or ramp.
Carol W — Google review
Worth a trip to visit this fantastic breakfast place! I had the Eggs Benny and a Biscuit with Gravy; my wife had the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The Benedict was divine, with a super fluffy hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached eggs. Biscuit and gravy was really good as well; sausage gravy has a good amount of pepper but is very good. Biscuit was excellent. Pancakes are huge and fluffy! Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is busy and noisy but everybody was having fun, including us.

11JUN2025: I could fly to Boise JUST for this breakfast. My goodness. Stumbled across this place and so glad we did, what a gem! Landed a table on the second deck, and the food was incredible across the board. Mushroom, spinach, ham and bacon omelet, crisp bacon (NEXT LEVEL ON FLAVOR), biscuit, bread, potatoes… this was as good as it gets. Thank you, Jamie, for the 5-star service and thank you Goldy’s Bistro for a breakfast we continue to rave about. One tip: If you do check in and can get a second-floor table against the rail (vice inward), looking below on the other patrons if you are people watcher, could add to the experience.
Brian — Google review
Despite being rather busy the kitchen and wait staff seemed to feel no sense of urgency. I waited 30 minutes for my dish which would have been completely fine, but nothing on my plate was actually hot which begs the question of why did it take so long if obviously it had been sitting somewhere? As a solo diner sitting at the counter normally these tickets are prioritized because the kitchen can easily get them out of the way, but that doesn't seem to be how they do things here. The dish itself made no sense. It seems like someone was desperately trying to come up with different takes to fill out their different eggs Benedict dishes, so they said how about if we just throw some chicken and bacon in there and use a "spicy" (it was not spicy) hollandaise, that will make it look like we know what we're doing! No, no it does not. You grilled a flavorless, dry chicken and stuck it under a supposedly poached egg which I never actually tasted because the whole thing was drowning in a sloppily made "spicy" hollandaise that was as thick as it was boring. The hash browns were hash browns and they would have been fine if they were actually hot. The only thing good was the coffee. The wait staff was friendly, but unpolished. I had a quarter of my plate left and someone brought me my check unprompted without asking if there was anything else I wanted. Also, the music, what vibe are you actually going for here? If it's chaotic mess, you nailed it.
Raymond K — Google review
I had the Andalusian eggs and I would absolutely say it was in the top 10 breakfasts I’ve ever ordered. Fantastic. My husband had a create your own skillet and it was also a win. I would not hesitate to go here again
Sarah S — Google review
I was visiting family and quickly realized why this place has such a good reputation. The staff lead the charge with a level of service more expected from a high end dinner. Every request was handled quickly, and a cup never emptied. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection especially the bacon. I ordered a biscuit with gravy that delighted my palette with every bite. I will definitely return next time I'm in Boise

The Griddle is a local chain of casual daytime diners that serves exceptional breakfasts and other hearty homestyle dishes. It is located in Boise, a city I frequently visit as I grew up here but currently live on the east coast. Every time I have been to this restaurant, there has always been a server named Jeffrey (I believe that's his name) who provides excellent service. He is funny, enthusiastic, and full of positive energy.
Our first breakfast visit to the Griddle. Waitress was friendly and recommended the chicken fried steak and eggs. And it was the real deal. Large, plate size steak with ample amount of cream gravy, hashbrowns and toast. Coffee was good too and she refilled our cups often. And now I know why they have a wait list. Highly recommended

Best breakfast spot in the valley. Wild West Scramble with an extra egg and protein is amazing. Toast is good quality, coffee is good, and Mo's hashbrown upgrade is a must!
Steve W — Google review
The restaurant has a cute diner vibe. Outside patio seating was nice with some shade. Servers were nice. I thought the food was ok.
Vee H — Google review
Great service and excellent menu options. It's busier in the morning than you'd think, so plan on a bit of extra time. We've been coming here for years at both locations and it never disappoints. It's a favorite for family coming to town, work-based breakfasts, and when foreign coworkers are looking for a hearty breakfast.
Troy H — Google review
TBH, I came to this location years ago. 😋 And, while I didn't care for the hollandaise sauce. 🧐 I realized maybe it's just other things on the menu that will redeem this restaurant. 🤔 Well, so far the wild west scramble, quiche Lorrain, and Mo's potatoes have made this place a gem. 💎 I like the eggs Benedict better at the Fork or Red Feather (problem: it's only available on the weekends). 🗓️ But, if you're nearby and love a good scramble with meat and veggies, this one is it. 🍳 Then upgrade your side potatoes to mo's; it'll add meat, veggies, and cheese to the hashbrowns. 🧀 It's delicious. 💯 Don't forget the freshly squeezed OJ!!! So give this place a try. 👍 Oh, and the homemade jam, is a great touch too! 💯

I recommend this place 10/10! From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly. Jamie made us feel right at home. It was our first time there -we are new to Idaho- and she shared her favorite dishes because I was so indecisive. The almond crusted French toast was excellent! I ordered a side of bacon, also amazing! She made me a special Cappuccino when I shared that I wish the coffee was a little stronger- I like my coffee bold and robust- overall a great experience!
Cynthia C — Google review
I had a friend that was having cataract surgery nearby and I came here while I waited for him. I've been to The Griddle in Eagle, but this is my first time here. First off, Gracie was my server and she was great. She was nice, attentive, and checked back on my several times. I ordered the California omelet with pepper jack cheese instead of feta, rye bread, and hashbrowns. Even with their salsa on my omelet, I did not find it all that flavorful and had to put a fair amount of salt to get some pop. I didn't get any heat of the pepper jack. The hashbrowns were not crispy, but more like potatoes with a little brown on them. The rye toast was fine. Their coffee is what you find in many diners, weak. So, to sum it up, great service and average food with the usual Griddle ambiance.

So many good things about this strong 5 star establishment! The atmosphere is so unique. Something different on every wall and at every corner. The staff is so amazing. They clearly love the place and they call everyone by name….even had a welcome sign waiting for us at our table. The food was delicious. The free scone they give you is perfection. The Crunchy French toast was outstanding. Perfect mix of crunch and soft. The bacon was crispy (in a very good way) and thick and the hangover hash browns were perfect. They are heavy tho so make sure you are hungry. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time. They even sent me on my way with my coke in a to-go cup! Really a perfect experience.

I've lived in Boise all my life. How did I miss having this deliciously great and fun dining experience? So thrilled that i've had it now and can bring my friends and family back. I highly, I recommend you take the drive from anywhere in the valley. It's definitely worth it! Chase our server was phenomenal and so cheery! Her smile in nature kept a smile on all of our faces! We didn't have a birthday, but one lucky guest did and happy birthday was played on the accordion! Our food portion sizes, we're large and Filled with homemade delicacies! A giant piping hot scone brought out in the beginning, was a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere is very eclectic and just plain fun! Treat yourself soon!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Eggmann! Everything was delicious, and the staff is so nice. They even gave us a coupon for a local coffee shop they also own! We tried the Crunchy French Toast and the Netflix and Chill Burrito. If we lived in Boise this would be a regular breakfast spot for us!

Stopped by Egg Man and Earl a few days ago for brunch with my wife and left pretty impressed overall. I ordered the Monte Cristo and she went for the vegetarian eggs benedict—both were clearly freshly made in-house, and you could taste that extra level of care in every bite. The Monte Cristo had a perfect balance of savory and sweet, with the bread crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The eggs benedict was bright and flavorful, with a well-seasoned hollandaise and veggies that tasted super fresh. Portions were just right—not too much, not too little. Service was a highlight here. Our server was polite, quick to check in, and really accommodating with a couple of special requests. It made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. The only downside was the atmosphere; there was a subtle musk in the air that reminded me of an old antique shop. It wasn’t overpowering, but definitely noticeable. That said, the place was clean and comfortable otherwise. All in all, a great spot for brunch with delicious, freshly made food and standout service.

Quaint little restaurant, lots of odds and ends, different styles and pictures, a little of everything. While waiting to be seated the started playing happy birthday with a accordion to a table and singing, that was so cute. Was seated with a sign with name wrote on it. Ordered a guava mimosa tasted good. Then ordered the John Denver, Sausage, diced ham, chopped onion, bell pepper, and pepperjack cheese. Loved the flavors. While waiting for my omelette they delivered a free scone it was hot and delicious. When getting ready to leave I noticed they have merch if you are wanting some hats, beanies, etc Definitely going back for more :)

Great breakfast in an unexpected strip mall. Decor was weird and a combination of themes that didn't match, including a rickshaw from india. Waiting area had board games to keep kids occupied. Food was good, service was very personal with the owner walking by and checking on people. the omlet could have used some flavour/salt but nothing some hot sauce won't fix. Complementary scone was a great touch.

Moon's Kitchen Cafe is a beloved, classic diner in Boise that has been serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes since 1955. Owned by Gary and Shelly Torrey, this welcoming spot offers home-style American cuisine made from scratch using the finest local ingredients. The menu features a wide array of savory and sweet options, including omelets, benedicts, pancakes, and their famous milkshakes.
A must visit breakfast gem! Moons is hands-down my new favorite breakfast spot in the city. Locally owned and full of charm, this place gets everything right—from the warm atmosphere to the incredible food and unbeatable service. Our server, Jeffrey, was exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu—he made our experience even more memorable. The food? Out of this world. Their gluten-free options are some of the best I’ve ever had—especially the pancakes and toast, which were fluffy and flavorful without compromise. The house-made hollandaise sauce is a standout: rich, silky, and perfectly balanced. And the breakfast potatoes? Crispy perfection. To top it all off, the city views from the dining area make every bite feel like a little celebration. Whether you're gluten-free or just love a great breakfast, Moons is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

I'm not an Idaho native, but I've been to every corner of the state multiple times. I'm rarely impressed with the food as salt is too spicy for most people here. This place keeps me coming back, the food quality, taste and consistency is perfect nearly every time. Kudos, to the staff and Chef.

Moons is always the go to breakfast spot in Boise, nothing beats it. Our go to’s are the chorizo omelette and chicken omelette. Moon babies are amazing if you’re feeling for a sweet breakfast.
Ross N — Google review
It was a busy still early Saturday brunch. I sat at the bar and kudos to Adriana for being the nicest and most efficient waitress I have known. The boise eggs benedict were generous and delicious and I tried a half portion of their celebrated beignets. They were light, fluffy and as good as those at Cafe du Monde!
Valerie T — Google review
You 100% have to go here! The food here is exceptional and so is the service. Everything here is a must try! The beignets are the best i’ve had and the salmon eggs benedict was just as good! Freshly squeezed orange juice too!

Waffle Me Up is a charming breakfast and lunch spot in Boise, Idaho that has been serving up delicious sweet and savory waffles since 2012. What started as a small operation with just one table and a household waffle iron at local farmers markets has now expanded to include a certified food cart, food trailer, and their own waffle shop. The liege-style waffles are freshly made to order and have garnered high praise from visitors.
Waffle Me Up is an interesting food and coffee shop with all food related to the waffle topic, the idea is creative and the food is fun and delicious. Whether you are a big fan of waffles, you can always find something you enjoy here. The shop shares the dinning area with Boise Fried Company, it’s has a stylish, cozy and artistic vibe inside, but can be noisy sometimes. It’s noticeable that the prices have risen up for the food and deserts here, so the prices on the menu photos are not accurate, whether it’s worth the new price is up to your budget.
Joey Z — Google review
Waffle Me Up specializes in Liège waffles named after the Belgian city in which they were invented. They differ from the classic Belgian waffles because of the heavier yeast-risen brioche batter. But unlike that part of Belgium, this Idaho version is most certainly not eaten plain. And the toppings are remarkably diverse and clever. In a very popular and vibrant store, boisterous crowds enjoy these freshly made waffles with custom ordered toppings. I personally like a good waffle with melted butter and copious amounts of powdered sugar. Unfortunately, cookie butter was the only alternative. And while delicious, it was closer to cold, uncooked batter than the melty goodness I prefer. And their version of a double dose of powdered sugar was what I would call a half dose at home. But it was still a delicious waffle, nonetheless. It's too bad there isn't a station to control your own butter and sugar quantities. But customers would probably abuse that. The waffle itself wasn't quite as good as my expectations after reading the sign's impressive description. But this is an excellent place for breakfast or brunch.

This was our first time coming to Waffle Me Up. Legit amazing! I have a severe banana allergy, and the owner, Hector, took absolute amazing measures to make sure the place was extra clean and disinfected before making our food! That right there is enough reason for me to want to come back again and again! The coffee was super hot, just like I like it! The food was incredibly delicious! And the service was exceptional. Overall, it was a great experience. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you definitely should the next time you’re downtown Boise!

Delicious food. Avocado waffle was so satisfying and yummy.. Real maple syrup, strong coffee, savory bacon, very friendly staff. I wish they were in Tri-Cities, WA! Also, they have a gluten free waffle. Lots of combinations that all look wonderful.

Perfect breakfast/brunch spot. You can taste the passion in the food and see it in the owner. We got the original, the bobacado deluxe and the peanut butter & currant waffles. It was a struggle to pick a favorite, they were all amazing. Definitely going to make this a regular stop when in Boise.

First time here, hands down the BEST customer service you could think of. Didn’t hesitate to great us as we walked in and was taken care of along with the customer he was in the middle of helping. My wife ordered chicken and waffles (we are from Georgia/Tennessee) I was definitely took by surprise, best chicken and waffles we have ever had, no exaggeration behind that. I got the Bob Deluxe and quality of the food, preparation of the food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely refer to family/friends and will definitely be back.

Certified Kitchen and Bakery, located in Hyde Park, is a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts. The restaurant is known for using a 52-year-old sourdough starter to create their delicious English muffins and breakfast sandwiches. Despite its casual service style, the cafe compensates with mouthwatering offerings like the English muffin breakfast sandwiches loaded with scrambled eggs, arugula, white cheddar, and Fresno creme fraiche.
Very good bakery with fresh and healthy options, the homemade English muffins were amazing, soft and airy! The trailhead bowl was filled with lots of yummy ingredients! The coffees were also a hit! Only drawback is that there is very limited seating, only option is a bar seating for about 6-8 ppl. It’s definitely geared towards take out. Service and staff are friendly and helpful!

Genuinely loved this place. Best food I had in Boise. Options for great baked goods or clean salads with fresh flavors or delicious lunch or breakfast sandwiches with simple coffee options too. It’s just a great place for breakfast or lunch as there’s something for everyone, everything tastes fresh and intentional and you can tell the menu was really fine tuned and all the options are high quality

Certified Kitchen and Bakery quickly became my go-to spot during a 3-week house sit in Boise’s Hyde Park—and for good reason. Everything I tried was fresh and consistently delicious. I sampled nearly all of their pastries and salads, and they never missed. The Cobb salad is a standout, and the tuna salad is equally satisfying. Friendly vibe, quality ingredients, and reliable flavor. 5 stars all the way!
Kytka — Google review
Absolutely LOVED it here!! We were visiting Boise and wanted a good place to grab coffee and a bite to eat. Certified had everything we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. So many good options it was hard to decide, we started with the certified breakfast sandwich and huevos ranchero breakfast burrito with a dirty chai. The housemade chai was perfectly spiced and the sourdough English muffin in the breakfast sandwich was so good we had to buy a half dozen to take home. We also left with a sourdough brownie and blueberry crumble bar. The brownie was easily one of the best brownies I’ve ever had, like a sophisticated cosmic brownie, thick and fudgy with a delicious ganache layer on top. Everything we had here was amazing, Hope to visit again in the future and try more of the menu.

We had the English muffin breakfast sandwiches and the chicken salad sandwich - praise be! Iced latte and green tea were so refreshing! Would love to have been able to sit near bakery!

Can’t say enough good things about this bakery! We had breakfast sandwiches and their *famous* starchip cookies. Chef’s kiss for both! Secretly wishing we had come earlier in our trip, knowing it would be worth coming back multiple times.

This is a must stop if you're in Boise. Homemade English muffins are great. Coffee is excellent as well

The staff was nice, the party goods and cookbook selection in the front was very nice and had a good variety. I liked the sprinkle cookies I brought home as well as one of the other cookies. That Earl Gray cake, which I was super excited about, was... Not good. The orange zest was chewy and texturally not jibing with the cake, the tea leaves (the staff explained there was loose leaf tea in it, but this was TOO much) were so evident that it was not pleasurable. The chocolate cookie I brought home was a bit too loaded with espresso. I'm willing to give it another effort but the general impression was "good but not great."

Whether you're craving fluffy pancakes or hearty omelets, this spot provides the perfect homey atmosphere for a satisfying meal. Visitors praise the friendly service and efficient staff, making it an ideal place to enjoy a delicious meal after attending local events like the Boise Balloon Festival.
Just like Georgia down below, we had Jordie, she was an amazing server and never let us down, she would always have all of our food and sauces delivered immediately. The food shown below was incredible and the pancakes especially, they were fluffy and similar to clouds. Jordie was a very energetic person and needs a raise. The coffee was also great, but it was buttery as my brother’s proclaimed. The bathrooms are very small though. Anyway 5 stars for an amazing meal and a great experience!😃

I’m very surprised and impressed by Elmer’s Kitchen that a brunch diner could be in such a good form. The inside vibe is “luxury” for a diner, very tidy, clean, cozy and stylish. The service is attentive and welcoming. I went there at late lunch time so it was not very packed with people, but I heard it could be very busy for breakfast. The only thing that I think they can improve is the price, it’s about 15-20% more expensive than other brunch diners in this area.
Joey Z — Google review
Breakfast was disappointing. The biscuits were overcooked, the hashbrowns bland with no seasoning, and the eggs Benedict were overdone. The country fried steak and gravy was just not a dish I would highlight—if that’s the best you’ve got, it needs serious improvement. Overall, the food lacked flavor, which is concerning since these are signature breakfast dishes that should always be consistent and on point. Service was also weak—servers were clearly stretched too thin, and I only received one coffee refill during the entire meal.

Blue Bench Brunchette is a popular spot known for its specialty in benedicts, avocado toast, espresso, mimosas, and bloody marys. The restaurant prides itself on using ingredients from small vendors and farm-to-market sources. Additionally, it offers bottomless mimosas on Mondays and features a mimosa tree with various flavors available every day of the week. Visitors can also experience classic Idaho huckleberry flavors at their sister restaurant, Huck House Brunchette.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blue Bench Brunchette in Boise, ID, and it was a delightful experience! To start, I ordered a flight of mimosas, which included huckleberry, strawberry, blushing, and mango flavors. Each one was refreshing and perfectly crafted, with the huckleberry standing out as my favorite due to its vibrant taste. For my meal, I tried the coconut French toast, which was a deliciously indulgent treat. It was fluffy and had just the right amount of sweetness, making it a perfect brunch dish. The chorizo omelette was another highlight. It was packed with flavor, and the chorizo added a nice kick that complemented the eggs beautifully. I also sampled the steel cuts oatmeal and the wild harvest oatmeal. Both were hearty and wholesome, making for a comforting addition to my meal. I especially appreciated the toppings available for the oatmeal, which allowed me to customize it to my liking. The ambiance at Blue Bench Brunchette is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to catch up with friends or enjoy a leisurely brunch. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Blue Bench Brunchette for anyone looking for a delicious brunch in Boise. With their creative menu and warm atmosphere, it's definitely a spot I plan to return to!

Not bad. Not great, but not bad. Breakfast tacos pretty good...8/10. Hash browns were luke warm...pretty sure they came out of a bag...3/10. But the fresh squeezed orange juice, tho!!!...by far the highlight of the breakfast...10/10. Overall 3.49/5. If the hash browns were better Idve edged you to 4/5.

I absolutely love this place. The place has that aesthetic of a small town diner which I love because it reminds me of a small town in Kansas that I would visit a lot as a kid. The food here is so so good. They cook their bacon to perfection and know how to make an egg. They also know how to really make some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Their service is impeccable and everyone that works there is super sweet. This place is a 10/10. The price is incredible as well. I mean you’re getting so much for such a great price. This place is truly an incredible experience and will be telling all of my friends.

I had such a great experience at Blue Bench Brunches in Boise! Their vegetarian options are impressive and really stand out from the typical breakfast fare—you can tell the food is made fresh and with care. I tried the market vegetarian omelet, which was delicious and came with huge, satisfying sides. The garlic hash browns were the star of the plate: crispy, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had at other brunch spots. Overall, it’s a refreshing place to enjoy a flavorful meal that feels both creative and comforting.

I was so excited to come back here since it was so good the last time I went but it had been well over a year. The menu has changed and my food did come fairly quick but it was warm not hot, the home fries tasted almost old not fresh, I had the country omelette but it was pretty bland. I saved most of it to jazz it up st home and eat it hot. I’m am sorry to put in bad review but I was very disappointed in the food. The atmosphere is always nice and they are always busy.

Fun place and great food. The Huckleberry Brioche was very satisfying, and came out with 3 whopping slices. Cute hot chocolate presentation with a batman toothpick added. Bacon was a sweet, smoky flavor and chewy. The decorations were really cute as well.

If you’re ever in Meridian and need a great breakfast 🍳 spot, this is it! Everything came out fresh and hot. The gravy was spot on, and you’ve gotta love the fresh jalapeños 🌶️ — yum! The French toast was the bomb, and the portion sizes were generous. If you like breakfast 🌯 , this is a must as well!

We kicked off our morning at Moe Joe’s, and it was a fantastic start to the day. I ordered Tasha’s Favorite omelet, while my wife went with the BLTA—both dishes were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. What truly elevated the experience was the warm and attentive service from Kendra, who made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Moe Joe’s is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to!

Let's first start off with saying this place was super busy be prepared to wait 45mins. To be seated. It was worth the wait. We were greeted by a energetic friendly super busy multi tasking host. Our waitress was fabulous. The food hands down my favorite breakfast place in the area. The owner is crazy to not expand. We watched group after group after group turn away cause the wait to be seated was 45mins cause the place is way to small inside with not enough seating. I highly recommend this place!!

Memory was a fantastic waitress. She was quick to get our drinks-water and a pineapple mimosa (per her referral) then I was stuck between taquitos or “nachos” she said the nachos-they did not disappoint! My husband said “surprise me!” And that she did. A chicken fried steak showed up and it was the most delicious, tender one he has ever had (and he tries them often, haha.) I would recommend this breakfast place to anyone who enjoys Hispanic spiced food.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We probably come here at least once per week on average. We love the servers and enjoy chatting with them. We also love how they jump in and help each other out like one big family. Sometimes we have to wait to get a table but it’s always worth it. Their hash browns are the best!

This is a great breakfast restaurant. I had the traditional Eggs Benedict with Moe Joes hash browns. I would definitely get this again, however the menu has a lot of other dishes I will want to try in the future. If you go, there will probably be a waiting line out the door. Its that popular. Wait staff was very good.
Tom W — Google review
Been coming here for over 7 yrs. Used to be one of my top five places. The past 6mo it is not the same. I dont mind the wait to sit since I know what to expect. A few months ago I actually sent back my hashbrowns as they tasted like oil. Second ones tasted the same. I stopped ordering them. I usually have the Farm House no egg. Sat 10/18 our family of three went for my hubby's Bday & I ordered it with fries crispy. My entire meal was luke warm at best. The fries were soggy & lump. Gravy is something that needs to be hot! It was busy & we were on our way to the BSU game so it was not worth sending it back to wait. I am familiar with the waitress & do not feel she would have been receptive to the request anyway. I would love for the food & service to return to what it used to be.

Capri is a fantastic spot, the real deal when it comes to a classic American diner experience. We absolutely loved the food! We ordered two breakfast specials, and everything was delicious and generously served. The service was great, friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere feels straight out of a movie, truly capturing that authentic American diner vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a genuine and memorable breakfast!

This is an old school, greasy spoon, cafe type of joint. If that's your thing, you'll probably dig it. Fast, friendly, and attentive service and fair portions for the price. But there's nothing here that's going to 'wow' you if you're a foodie. *I found the claim to famous biscuits and gravy to be little more than marketing hyperbole... Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with this place, I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

A True Boise Gem: The Capri Restaurant Saturday morning with four friends turned into a delightful reunion when we ran into two more friends at The Capri. It’s the kind of place where that just happens, a testament to its status as a true Boise institution. This hidden gem on Fairview is a must-visit, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a classic, delicious breakfast or lunch. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and handled our growing party with grace. The food was absolutely fantastic; a perfect example of home-style cooking done right. Every dish was full of flavor, and the portions were generous, exactly what you want from a classic diner. Beyond the delicious food and excellent service, part of what makes The Capri so special is its welcoming atmosphere and traditional feel. It's a place that feels like it's been a part of the community forever, with a sense of history that's evident the moment you walk in. The restaurant even has a connection to another local icon, with the two businesses often co-branded and even opening a joint location in Meridian. The Capri is also the proud home of Rudy the Rooster, a beloved Boise icon. If you're looking for a taste of old-school Boise with a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food, and a bit of local charm, The Capri is the place to go. It’s a hidden gem that feels like a warm hug, and it's a place you'll want to return to again and again.

If you're looking for the old 70-80s diner style restaurant this is it. The place is always busy. It's a clean friendly and busy atmosphere. You seat yourself at a clean table and someone will come to get you situated. Our party of two (1st timers here) ordered huckleberry pancakes, sweet corn waffles and biscuits and gravy to share. That sweet corn waffle from their "specials" menu was our favorite. Glad we gave it a try. I want to go back for it before it's gone. Our waitress was delightful and I look forward to returning.

This is a great diner to grab breakfast in the morning, it reminds me of the diner in Seinfeld, the staff is amazing and have all worked together for a long time and it makes the business run smooth, food comes out hot and fast l, and always taste great. The waitress’s are literally pros very fast and very sweet and kind no matter how busy they get they will find time to make your visit feel like you are a long time patron.

We absolutely love the Capri as far as the food and service is concerned. What we don’t like is that during our last few visits there have twice been dogs in the restaurant. This morning the dog was sitting in a booth with its owners (I assume). The dog had it’s head on the table more than once. Neither time were the dogs marked as service animals. We are dog lovers ourselves but do not feel it’s appropriate to have them be in an eating establishment.

I had the pecan French toast, which was insanely good. It doesn't look like much before it's assembled (it was my first time there so I had no idea) but it is stunning when you get it! The coffee, just the basic black drip, is good. The cookies I brought home were gobbled up immediately. I loved the vibe, the gifts and crazy amount of imported foods are great. I am not going to buy the $200 candle, but I did get a tiny pumpkin for the fall & that made me happy enough with the delicious food!

Spicy breakfast sandwich is fire. I got this and my fiancé got the avocado toast. I’d highly recommend both. The only drawback from the sandwich were the greens. I don’t think egg and leaves go together. The warm egg doesn’t really pair with fresh crispy lettuce. That being said, the sauce complimented the sweetness of the jalapeños and the egg was fluffy. The fruit on the side was nice and light. The other option was a light salad. I don’t want a salad for breakfast it I respect a nice and light side for an options. The rest of the inside was BEAUTIFUL. The service was good too. I’m not the biggest fan of tipping on a meal where you go up to a counter, tell them what you want, select you own table, and aren’t waited on, but I still gave 10%. Everyone was friendly and had a good attitude. All in all, I’d give it an 8/10. Would absolutely come back here again.

This time, I had the avocado toast and it’s by far one of the best I have ever had. The quality of the bread is just so good and it tastes so fresh! I have been here multiple times and I never get disappointed by the food, service and the amazing “market” area they have. You should most definitely stopy!

Pros- Clean, friendly & helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful respite from the smoky & hot outdoors. However, there is available beautiful outside seating in the mornings to enjoy in a garden-like setting. Inside, find a complimentary library to peruse as you relax. Be sure to visit in the fall/winter holidays as they open a larger connecting space with treats for the eyes! You can order coffee from the deli counter and/or pay for all of your purchases at the coffee counter. After ordering, you are given a table number flag, so the staff can bring out your food/coffee. No need to clean up afterwards, as they will buss your table for you. The Croque Monsieur was delightful with accompanying vinegrette-dressed greens. The vinegrette was bright and not overpowering. I had the mexican coffee with oatmilk , which proved to be perfectly balanced and satisfying. You can spend an enjoyable time looking at all the imported items for sale and count yourself lucky to buy a few. Flowers, candles, gifts, cold items, frozen items, wines, coffees, pastries, deli salads & proteins. . Cons- Be sure to check your credit card balance before arriving. Prices are high! Image a piece of cooked salmon at $14.95, by itself, no sides! Also small jars of sauce for $12.99. Unfortunately, this means this is a once or twice a year stop and cannot be a regular visit because of the expensive items. My sandwich was unfortunately dry & had very little ham inside. There is a constant and annoying bell ringing, that went on for my entire stay. I'm told it is to alert the staff of pickup orders from the kitchen and such, but there must be a better way to do this without grading on the nerves of the customers, or is this to drive us out and prevent "camping". Before 9am, and they ran out of plain croissants? They should be having adequate stock thru lunchtime. ... I did enjoy myself and would definitely return once I can pay off my credit card balance a little bit.

Call me excessive! Call me an emotional eater! Call me to the table Honey! Wow! No wonder so many west coast folks are moving to Boise. A' Tavola Boise is by far the stuff that dreams are made of. I had forgotten what it is like to be inspired when walking into a space that transports one from the everyday to extraordinary. Lisa and Peter, Wow! You have to be proud of this place! The quality of food is excessively GOOD! The staff here has always been inviting and a joy to chat with. This feels like a little piece of Italy in downtown Boise. Also, today we had to sample a few items from the Bakery as well! Who knew that even a cookie could taste that good. Reminded me of something my mom had made for me years ago! You can't go wrong here! Absolutely delicious!!

Eddie's Restaurant is a charming eatery that captures the essence of classic American dining with its retro vibe and homestyle fare. Nestled in Boise, this family-owned diner has become a beloved spot for locals and travelers alike, offering an inviting atmosphere adorned with nostalgic memorabilia from the 1950s. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast or brunch, Eddie's serves up generous portions of delicious dishes like their famous biscuits and gravy, made fresh daily.
My wife and I stopped by for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and we both asked the same question: what took us so long to come here?? The food was fantastic—very reasonably priced and left us full and satisfied. They serve Pepsi products, along with your choice of curly fries, tots, or regular French fries. So far, we've tried the chicken strips, regular fries, country gravy, French dip, chili cheese burger, meatloaf with brown gravy, and even sampled their coconut cream pie. We've had a great experience with all of them! I will say the regular fries aren’t my favorite, but that’s just a personal preference—I’m a sucker for seasoned curly fries. Tonight, we also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and Salisbury steak, and once again, everything was spot-on. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the interior really captures the feeling of a 1950s-style diner, complete with classic booth seating, framed car photos, hanging plants, and retro touches like the Pepsi-Cola condiment caddies. It's got a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal. The building’s exterior is a bit aged, which honestly contributed to us overlooking it for too long—but that was absolutely our loss. We’ve immensely enjoyed every visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for great American comfort food at a fair price, served in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.

I have to say, this was the perfect place to eat just before my flight. I had a long flight that day and only an hour before I had to leave for the airport. The waitress served us right away, and of food came quickly. The plates were large and the prices were fair. I don't order drinks anymore, $4 for an ice tea or watered down coke anywhere you go is just crazy! Water with lemon is just fine. I have to say, I really enjoyed eating at Eddie's. There are plenty of tables and if you're in a hurry like me, there is a counter bar to sit at. Good food, great service and reasonable prices.

A 50's style diner, very quiet. We went on a Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and there were plenty of tables open. Our waiter did a nice job. His name was Sam. We didn't have to wait very long for our food and he did a good job making sure that all our needs were taken care of. I had chicken fried steak and it was great. It came with three sides. I chose fresh squash, loaded baked potato and soup. I look forward to going back.

First time here with my family of 13!! My cousin lives in Idaho and he said this is his favorite little place for breakfast. It was the only breakfast place that could actually get a medium rare on my steak. It was excellent!! Food was absolutely delicious and service was great. Highly recommended!!

My wife and stop here on are way through east or west, to have a quick visit with family. It’s always great. This time the large pack of Corvettes in the parking lot. They from the newest all the way back to a 1954 I think it was. Awesome experience always

We’ve only been here 2x and so far it’s been a great experience both times. It gets busy on the weekends so you might have to wait a bit. The food is typical diner fare and the servers are so nice. It has a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere & plenty of parking.

We stopped by after a Soccer ⚽️ game and had a great experience 👍. I had asked an AI (Gemini) to recommend a restaurant with great Chicken-fried Steak, and we were also needing great Hamburgers... Eddies was a top-rated place, so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. The Cheeseburgers 🍔 got eaten quickly, and my Chicken 🐔 Fried Steak was great. We all agreed that we'd eat here, again, soon! The food was fresh, and cooked perfectly 👌. Thanks, Gemini AI, for telling me about this place. The location is great, and easy to find. Thanks to the cooks and staff that made our experience memorable.

Black Bear Diner Boise - Entertainment Ave is a casual chain restaurant that offers classic comfort food and desserts in a cozy, woodsy atmosphere. While it's not exclusive to Boise, the diner's focus on home-style cooking makes it a popular choice for families. The menu features an extensive selection of both healthy and hearty dishes with generous portions. The rustic ambiance adds to the charm, creating a welcoming environment reminiscent of country dining.
I recently dined at Black Bear Diner in Boise, and it was quite the experience! The freshly squeezed orange juice was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try. The biscuits and gravy were good but somewhat average, lacking that special touch I was hoping for. However, the pancakes were a real highlight! They were incredibly fluffy and flaky, making them a delightful addition to the meal. And I have to say, the homemade sausage patties were a hit! They had a fantastic flavor that complemented the rest of the meal perfectly. Overall, Black Bear Diner is a great spot for a hearty breakfast. I definitely recommend trying the orange juice, pancakes, and sausage patties if you get the chance!

I came here with my family. It was a great experience. We got seated pretty quickly and the sever was timely and kind. She was patient as we order for our grandparents. She checked in on our table and made sure the coffee mugs were full. The food was really good, and portions were great. The bacon was cooked to a crisp, the eggs were cooked well, and the French toast was great. The syrup was great and wasn't too sticky. I will definitely be coming here again.

Want a big delicious breakfast!? Try out this place. Our server was so informative, friendly and efficient. Our breakfast choices were so good. Knocked one point off because we asked for crispy bacon abd it wasn't crispy... but we ate it. The pancakes were the huge, fluffy and just what I was craving. Every time we visit this is one place we have to visit! Oh.. and the coffee is perfect.. strong, hot and delicious.

Shout out to Mary, our server. She was amazing. She absolutely set the tone for our experience; old-school efficient!! Our coffee cups were never empty. Just the right amount of attention. Very professional but also personable. The food and atmosphere were perfect for the theme of the restaurant.

Carrie Ann saved the meal. All of us had pancakes. 2 of the 3 plates were burnt. My wife ordered the "Volcano" with eggs over easy. They were over HARD. Carrie Ann refill our coffees and showed us more attention than our server. She also assisted as the host and cashier.

The restaurant's rustic vibe adds to the appeal, making it a must-visit for those craving early-morning delights such as pancakes, waffles, and crepes.
Hadn’t been here before, but I live in Nampa. Nice little place with about 20 tables. It was fairly busy at 9:00 on a Friday, but it would probably be packed earlier, being a locals hangout. Even with the crowd, it’s fairly quiet. I ordered the Senior Plate, but added a second egg as well. The eggs were nice and soft, the bacon crisp and the pancakes were so light and fluffy. What a satisfying breakfast for 13 bucks and some change, including coffee.
Gare B — Google review
The food was amazing! The spinach omelet was so light, fluffy, and FULL of spinach, bacon, and cheese. The hashbrowns had a nice crisp top but definitely could have used a little seasoning. The strawberry waffles were good with the whipped cream being the star of the plate. I would have liked maybe a strawberry syrup to go with the strawberry waffles but the maple was fine. I would go back again just for that omelet.

"at risk for removal" be careful not to take advantage of their wonderful text reservation waiting system. 🤣😁 Food is great. Service could be better. When customers ask for things (straws, lemons) remembering is important to effiency and happy customers. Going for straws after asking the second time and forgetting lemons is not efficient. Running around looks good, accomplishes little.

Pleasantly surprised. Food came out at a decent time. The Denver omelet was really good actually. The eggs had this buttery smooth kind of taste, not like actually butter. I guess they were just thick and extra savory, maybe heavy whipping cream was used? The pancakes were great as well! I just got the regular cakes with syrup and my associate got the blueberry waffle, he said it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend and go again.

Food is always great no doubts about it. Service though is 1/10…. It takes an hour plus wait. Once we get in it takes forever for them to take the order. From there yet one more wait to get your food to the table. In between if you need anything like straws or water or coffee refill etc.. it takes forever sometimes forgotten that you need to ask twice. It would be good if they can work on taking their service levels high.

Been a while since I ordered a steak anywhere and I found the New York strip here to be as good as you could hope for. Excellent portion for the price too; I've paid double for steaks a quarter the size.

I had a miserable experience for brunch today. 12/17/23. We were a party of 11-16 in The Quite Bar room. Which was beautiful. I'm having difficulty finding positive things to say about our experience today, so I'll just go with the negatives. We had one server, who might have been a manager. Her name is Rebeca, at least that's what it said on the receipt as she never introduced herself, but she seemed to not be in a uniform as the other servers. The tables were uneven where they met together, but it was disguised under the table clothes. When I placed my full water glass down, it immediately fell over and soaked the table. It was quite obviously a large spill but Rebeca took no action until we asked for a new table cloth. She didn't answer but appeared to be walking away, so I repeated my request, and she said, "I heard you", then proceeded to get a small napkin which barely covered 1/3 of the spill, so I asked for 2 more. She asked if anyone wanted coffee several times, but never came to each person and asked what they wanted to drink. I did not want coffee, so I waited for her, but she left. I had to get her attention to request hot tea, after everyone else was served they meals. The tea carafe dribbles a lot, making more of a mess on the tablecloths. This is just a bad design. No lemon was brought, nor offered, just a sticky packet of honey. I ordered the fish and chips, but Rebeca came back to tell me that it was frozen. Okay, I said, "So, I can wait". She said "No, it was frozen". I asked, "Does that mean it's not available"? She said "Yes". How was I to know that frozen meant that I couldn't order it? So, I asked for the meatloaf sandwich, but without the bacon. She said that it wasn't possible. I said, yes, you can just remove the bacon. She had to check again with the chef, but it was indeed possible. Remember all this time others have received their meals. Why wasn't the fish 86'd at the start of service? It's not rocket science to come up with the solution to remove the bacon, but her answer to most questions was, "No". The meatloaf sandwich was barely edible. It was soaked and dripping with an overly sweet brown sauce. I had to use a knife and fork. It had one, thinnest possible slice of tomato and some wilted lettuce. When I removed the bread, it revealed that the meatloaf was burnt. I didn't complain as I had already waited so long to eat and everyone else was almost done. One person at the table got dessert, but I realized that no one else was offered. It would have been a good idea to ask the table and increase sales! We got individual bills, and mine said the Fish & Chips (which I originally ordered, but had to change to the Meatloaf) The bill was $2 higher than it should have been. I had to ask her to correct my check. By the end of the meal, most had paid, and we were ready to leave, when one person said that she still didn't get to pay as Rebeca never picked up her payment and just disappeared. I had to go to the host stand to find her and have her return. I guess that we could have walked out. I had worked as a server for over 20 years, and I truly understand that mistakes happen and people are human, but through every problem that we experienced, Rebeca never apologized. That really bugged me because it illustrated that she just didn't care at all. That was the last straw for me. If you guessed; you are correct. I. Did. Not. Tip. Update 8/11/2024 I returned with a friend for lunch and had some similar problems. First off, Jessica, our server, was very pleasant and helpful. Service was great! The problem is with the kitchen. I had ordered a salmon burger, with some capers and dill on the side, but Jessica returned to tell us that the kitchen refused to do that, even though It was after 1pm and the restaurant was quite empty. I was willing to pay an upcharge if necessary, but instead, we suffered another bad experience. Even the salmon was overcooked. And don't get me started on the number of flies inside the restaurant. I tipped Jessica 22%.

Located in the lobby of The Riverside Hotel 🏨, The Riverside Grill is very spacious. It features Tablecloths and cloth napkins. My Soup 🍲 of the day was very flavorful, the Caesar Salad 🥗 was delicious 😋, and the large portion of Meatloaf was rather crispy but still pretty good. I have been here several times for the Carrot 🥕 Cake 🍰, which has always been excellent 👍. I like the open kitchen design because I like watching the cooks. Jo Lynn is one of my favorite servers in all of Boise!

We booked this brunch for Easter with our family after seeing it ranked on Google as the “best Easter brunch in Boise.” Clearly, they’re paying for good SEO—but they’re not delivering on the experience. The omelette station was the only thing that felt fresh and worth the visit. Everything else on the buffet was cold, bland, and underwhelming—especially for $28 per person. It didn’t taste freshly made, just reheated from packaged food and the quality just wasn’t there. While there were food labels, gluten-free options were minimal. For a place promoting itself as a top brunch destination, the lack of variety and attention to dietary needs was disappointing. Staff seemed overwhelmed and had a hard time finding utensils and remembering drink orders. Definitely not worth the price or the hype. Boise has much better brunch options—this one just happens to show up at the top of Google. Don’t be fooled.

Absolutely loved my experience at Trillium for breakfast! The food was delicious—everything from the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly cooked eggs was spot on. Mallory was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always full. She also gave us great recommendations for off the beaten path activities and site to see that made our trip to Boise fabulous. We will definitely be coming back to The Grove and starting our day off eating at Trillium next time we’re in Boise. The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect place to start the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast. Five stars!

Very eclectic mix of food - from Szechuan (Chinese) cauliflower to Schnitzel (German) with Grano Arso (Italian) to Cajun (French/Acadian) Mac N Cheese. It was all very delicious, along with our cocktails. Our server was so sweet but a little difficult to understand. We were disappointed to learn that Happy Hour was not available on Friday evenings or hockey evenings - which had been our primary reason for trying out Trillium. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Would recommend.

The fact that this place has a 4.5 star rating surprises me. This is quite honestly one of my top dining experiences of my life. The entrees were expertly prepared, served by a wonderful server. Rebekah was attentive but not overbearing. They have local specialty drinks and spirits. The cheese cake with Huckleberry topping was the pinnacle of our night.

Our dinner was top notch. The creative menu made it difficult to decide what to get, because we are only in town for one night. We got two great appetizers crab strats and grilled halloumi. For our entrees, we ordered the short rib and shrimp Mac n cheese. The food is to die for, our water glasses never got to halfway, the staff is very attentive. Our waitress Rebecca even gave us a recommendation of what to do during the day tomorrow, as we asked! Ask for Rebecca if you dine here! My wife and I came here yesterday to celebrate an early Father's Day. We made reservations for 5:30 pm. Trillium is located in the Grove Hotel in downtown Boise, on Capitol near Front St. We parked in public parking for $6. We didn't realize that the restaurant was located in the hotel. It's a nice hotel, and we made a note of it for future reference, in case we wanted to stay downtown sometime. Turns out that at 5:30 on a Wednesday the place was not busy at all. In fact, in our section there was only one other patron. I liked that we had the place all to ourselves. The ambience is very nice, tables with comfortable chairs, a touch of elegance with a little bit of a retro vibe in the bar area. Our server, and I neglected to get her name, was very nice, very helpful, and provided excellent service. My wife had the short rib entree and I had the bison grilled cheese sandwich and fries. All delicious. I hesitate to recommend the lemon New York cheesecake, because we did not taste much lemon, which I love. We're already discussing coming back to try the fish and chips. I recommend Trillium for the delicious food and excellent service.

I took my friend out to lunch today for her birthday. We were greeted by Sam, our server, who was so welcoming and kind. Besides the great server, who was very attentive, we both shared the beef stroganoff and the brussel sprouts. Oh my, so so delicious. A great place to go any time!! It's quiet so you can actually talk to each other. I've had business meetings there which worked out perfectly.

I had a wonderful experience here. I took my wife and kids for a nice night out and they loved it just as much. I had the pork shank, which was braised to perfection. This "off the path" breakfast spot was very busy on a Saturday morning, but the Chicken Fried Steak was great. The eggs Florentine half order was also very good. The service was great too!
Super cute place!! It’s definitely a hole in the wall but I’m so glad I came! We came in and got to pick our own seats. Service was pretty much immediate since it wasn’t too busy. I got the cinnamon roll and the stuffed French toast. The cinnamon roll was kind of bread-y but the icing was good! I loved the French toast and it looked awesome! Good prices and love the atmosphere. Will hopefully come back soon! I would love to support a cute place like this.

Brunch at the Chef’s Hut. Comfort food is delicious, and the service is friendly and superb. We were there on a Saturday around 11:30 and obtained a table outside with a few minutes wait. Everything we ordered was delicious. Eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and cinnamon roll. Cinnamon roll is a must-try, it’s large enough for 2-4 persons to split, but so yummy you may want it all to yourself 😊. I had the burrito, and finished 1/2. Recommend checking out this hidden gem and be sure to bring a good appetite for the large portion sizes.

My wife and I been living here in Boise for last two years and we live literally down the street. I never noticed the sign on S Cloe Rd until this morning as i walked passed it. I got home my wife said go to breakfast, I said sure there a place down street. This place is small we waited for a table. As we waited for our food i asked the waitress how long as the place be here she said fifty-one years (Wow) the breakfast my wife and ordered was delicious. It's worth the wait for a table. Prices are not bad either. Operating hour are 6am-2pm. 8/16/25

You'd be hard pressed to pick a more hidden place to have a restaurant, off Cole Road across from the car dealerships. So rely on GPS to get there the first time. It's a friendly small place for outstanding breakfasts. I've had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, the eggs-ellent Hollandaise on the Eggs Benedict and a side of a Southern style biscuit with peppery sausage biscuit. Hash browns are crispy. As a single diner here, they treat you just like a local, and that's good. Small inside seating, but don't get disappointed if there is a short wait, its worth it. Very reasonable prices and great comfort food. The interior is a little tired if you are expecting a new chain restaurant, but the food and service more than make up for it.

If you haven't been here. I would recommend checking it out! We got the jalapeno burger, eggs Benedict, one biscuit and gravy. And a cinnamon roll to go. Burger was insanely foodgasmic. You can taste every ingredient! The cheese crust just puts the crispy crunch I love in my food. The Eggs Benny had full flavors too! Complementary to each ingredient. Creamy hollandaise sauce, salty Canadian bacon, and soft English muffins. The biscuits and gravy was tasty. Should try it. Biscuits were crumbly. I prefer doughy. And gravy was very good. I added a dash of Tabasco and black pepper for my preference. Overall, I'd say this is a gem for Boise. Hours may be a little restrictive to busy bodies during the morning to mid day but plan it in!

Great little breakfast place that's a little hard to find...but worth it. Food was super yummy and had great portion sizes for the price. Prices were very comparable to other breakfast places. The cinnamon roll was very good. The only problem was I didn't order two..lol. Just be aware that the place is super small and might take a while to seat you, but it's worth the wait. Probably the only negative was they don't have Coke products. Only pepsi. They also only have one bathroom. Service was a little slow but pretty good considering how packed it was in there. Definitely have found a new breakfast place.

We are big foodies, and this place was top of my list to check out during our visit to Boise. It did not disappoint. The flavors are punchy, the textures were just right. Really creative combinations as well. Will probably stop here again before we leave because it was that good! The pastries were definitely worth the wait. Had to wait outside until line was moving but it wasn’t too long of a wait. The selection was very good. Only reason why it’s a 4 star is their selection in what they serve the coffee in as it was difficult to hold due to it being hot. Overall the experience was great and the pastries tasted out of this world good. Will most definitely make a second trip to this place.

As someone who hunts down the best pastries and sweet treats in every city they visit, Janjou was at the top of my list when visiting Boise. The texture of the laminate pastry was exceptional and each item they craft looks almost too good to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find the coffee also exceeded my expectations; dialed to perfection and with expert level microfoam. I will be dreaming about this place and eager to return when I get the chance!

Wow...passing through Boise and stumbled into Janjou Patisserie.....had the lemon croissant and a latte..... the pastry rivals the best I've had in Paris!! If you come you have to say hello to Coco and Maple, the stores 2 chihuahuas.

Sure it’s not Paris or Nice, but it’s pretty close! Espresso drinks are deliciously divine… servi à la parisienne (bien sûr). The staff is always lovely - friendly and welcoming. A busy little place to be sure… so expect a line, especially on weekends. The worst part? Trying to decide on what to enjoy. It’s almost impossible to leave with just one selection. Luckily, they’ve boxes to accommodate any number of delicacies for enjoyment later whether sharing with friends or simply for yourself.

Very good desserts. Had the hazelnut croissant and tasted exactly like a hazelnut. The croissant itself was very flavorful and had many crispy layers that added to the texture. My sister and grandpa both had the mocha and they liked it a lot as well saying it was the best mocha they had

I usually don’t write review, but this time I just had to. We stopped here for a quick pastry/ lunch grab on our road trip and little cakes looked so good we grabbed some of those too. Cakes were phenomenal. Tropical passion fruit flavor just blew our mind. It was sweet and tart at the same time, but not overwhelming. We just kept says ow wow all the time. It was so good that we actually was thinking to turn around and get some more. Couple hours later we had some savory items we got. Lorraine Brioche is when I’ve decided this place deserve all the amazing reviews in a world. My boyfriend and I loved it cold. Literally all other 3 pastries sweet and savory was gone in a minute. We just couldn’t stop. It was baked to perfection. All of them. Kinda thinking to make trip to Boise again just to go here. Warning, there was a line at the door, but it’s totally worth it.

Nestled in the heart of Meridian, The Original Sunrise Cafe is a beloved destination for those seeking a hearty breakfast or leisurely brunch. With its charming old-fashioned decor featuring warm wood paneling and cozy seating, this cafe exudes a welcoming hometown diner vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu embraces traditional American fare, offering generous portions of classic breakfast dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
The restaurant is a little run-down, but don't let that fool you about the food. The food is really, really good here at a decent price. Their portion size is also good. Love going here for breakfast. The staff have always been super friendly, and the service is usually pretty quick. They probably had our breakfast out to us in less than 10 minutes. Definitely will go back here again.

Such great food and service! Never disappointed by this place. Somehow, they make standard breakfast food soooo much better!!
K B — Google review
First of all, Tiare is the best waitress around. We all left here highly caffeinated and soooo full. Cross your fingers she’s here when you come. My buddy went with the chicken fried steak, but I got the country platter - same thing but all chopped up, covered in sausage gravy, hash browns, 2 eggs AND a side of pumpkin pancakes! And we tried their “scone” that’s like a zeppoli back in Jersey. Rolling out of here very happy.

Classic diner with great service and good food. Stopped in for breakfast and settled on the Big Biscuit Breakfast with hashbrowns. The coffee was delicious. Service was great and I loved the old school western vibes. They seem to do a lot of door dash orders as people were constantly picking up orders.
Trypp A — Google review
Best breakfast I've had in a long time! I love the old school diner feel, too. The people there were great as well! I think it was called the bug biscuit breakfast. Perfectly made biscuit with sausage and egg on top smothered in gravy. So good.

We had a great breakfast here. The salted caramel coffee was super sweet and great. My french toast and cinnamon roll were very good. I prefer a more modern interior but that is just my opinion. We sat outside. The waitress was attentive. I will be eating here again.

First time here for breakfast. The staff was friendly. The restaurant had an old diner feel about it, which is good. There are alot of pictures depicting the history of the area. The restaurant has a "Community Mug" where you can keep your personal mug for coffee. It raises funds for the Idaho Special Olympics, which is a great concept. The pancakes were flavorful. Our waitress, Madison was very attentive and friendly.

UPDATE: 18 August 2024 Arrived at 7:10am and a perfect morning to have breakfast outside. I love their classic breakfast and always plenty of bacon and hash browns. My server is attentive and always offers to top off your coffee and asking if you require anything else. I enjoy the atmosphere and friendlier the staff and customers. See you next year. Going to the Sunrise Cafe will require waiting because of the crowd of people. It’s worth the wait and of breakfast choice. Plates are generous portions, thick sliced sour dough bread and the home fried potatoes are slightly spicy which I liked. Service was quick and plenty of servers and cooks. Definitely would recommend.

Merritt's Family Restaurant is an old-school diner and scone specialist that has been serving comfort food since 1975. Located in Boise, it is known as the best spot for classic Idaho breakfast dishes. The restaurant operates nearly 24/7, allowing customers to satisfy their brunch cravings at any time of day. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and heartwarming stories from long-time patrons.
Had an amazing meal at Merritt's Family Restaurant in Boise! The 3-egg omelet with smoky chicken, tomatoes, cheese, and mushrooms was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The food was top-notch, but the real highlight was our waitress, Kayla, who was an absolute gem—super friendly and attentive! The cozy vibe and great service made it a memorable stop. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving a hearty, satisfying meal!

50 years in same location. When we walked in it was full for breakfast at 9:00 AM. We got last table. They greeted us as we came in and got drinks quickly. Everyone around us had wonderful plates of food. My son got hamburger hash-brown potatoes, 2 eggs and a huge plain scone. My wife and I shared a Denver omelet, hash-browns and powder sugar scone. Food was hanging over the plate and was so good. We were surprised by serving sizes. They served two overflowing plates for our shared omelet. Scones were so large we took half home for later. Great restaurant and obviously a Boise favorite.

We had a great breakfast here in definitely an old time diner atmosphere - fantastic! We started with one of their famous scones - delicious. I had the biscuit deluxe. Toasted biscuit open faced, with a patty sausage, then eggs, cheese and finally gravy! A real Saturday belly-wad! My wife had the taco omelet and really enjoyed the flavors. Well worth it!
Brian G — Google review
What a fantastic little spot! It's rustic and cozy inside. Perfect for breakfast! Our server Keilah was an absolute joy. Quick, funny and just all around made our experience brighter. I had the taco omelette which was probably one of the best omelettes I've ever had. My husband said the same about his which was the Smokey Chicken! We shared a biscuits and gravy. 12/10 stars if I could. We will for sure be back!

We thought it would be better to go here instead of IHOP because i really wanted to have some pancakes. We ordered pancakes, 2 eggs and hash Browns and coffee. There was no flavored creamers the coffee was not that great either. We got our food and it felt cold i tried the pancake, it was rubbery big but rubbery. Didn't even eat half of it The hash Browns. Were gross too crispy and not cooked. Enough in the middle I ate one egg and that was it I was going to take the rest to go. So I ask for a box when I was putting in the box, I found a Hair in my hash Browns! gross, the waitress said that she would take off the hash Browns from my bill, but I don't feel like that was enough. I will never go here again. It was expensive and it should have been good, but it was not lame and not worth the money.
Kat B — Google review
The food here never disappoints I always leave with a full belly and a smile. The breakfast bowls and scones are two of my absolute favorites, but honestly, everything on the menu is fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous, the coffee pairs perfectly with the pastries, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to again and again!

WOW is all I have to say! wife had the corned beef hash (not out of a can made fresh in house) and I the chicken fried steak and holy moly it was awesome! came out hot and tasting delicious and fast! for a busy Saturday I was impressed. service was prompt and friendly coffee was filled. It was nice since it was Father’s Day and we were able to make a reservation. We got there early and our table was ready. We were seated right away but it took a while for anyone to come back to even bring us waters. The waiter wasn’t friendly but also wasn’t rude. He just seemed stressed, overworked and in a hurry. With as busy as they were the food did arrive pretty quickly. Husbands eggs were undercooked. The coffee I got was good but my meal was nothing great. The food was blah. The service was blah and the vibe was blah. Our clothes and hair smelled bad when we left. And then there was the food poisoning that 2 of us got. We know the food poisoning came from here because this was the only meal the 2 of us had together in weeks. One of my least favorite dining experiences ever.

Read that this restaurant had good chicken fried steak reviews. I do enjoy a good chicken fried steak. Upon receiving my chicken fried steak I noticed the steak was very dark in color. I Contributed it to old fryer oil. Once I began eating I noticed it was extremely hard to cut with a steak knife and it just tasted burnt. All the other food I received in my order was great! Just unfortunate I paid $20 for something that is usually always great and the meat of the dish (literally)

This is my second time at this place and I plan on coming back frequently to try other items. I had the McTipsy sandwich, it did not disappoint. I got it with sausage and bacon. I had every ingredient down to the last bite. Thats what I am talking about! Next I want to try the tacos or perhaps theAvocado Hash Brown "Toast". Thank you for the amazing food and service.

Good food! Lots of choices for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & Dinners. Omelets were fresh and you can pick three extra ingredients to go in them for $14 w/ hash browns & toast or fruit. Couldn’t finish it all. The homemade strawberry-peach jam was excellent. Our server Christina was attentive & very nice. Food came fast. They have a full menu, a full bar, music, also Karaoke on some days. A smaller private/meeting room in back & outdoor seating. It’s a very chill vibe. Meridian Rd. X I-84. Next to Shari’s. Look for the Tipsy Chef waving!

My Salmon Benedict 🍳 looked nice but was cold. It took a very long time to get it. It was not busy and I was close to the kitchen. The kitchen staff was screaming around. I could barely understand my server. The Front of the House staff seemed more interested in socializing and doing their side work than bringing me hot food. They should really hire a food runner. They did not ask me how it was. It's a shame that this place has gone downhill because it used to be really good.
Scott W — Google review
The food in general is delicious. However. I'd recommend avoiding ordering their salmon Benedict. They severely undercook it and it tasted like sushi with the rest of my food. The 1st bite was so gross it made me want to gag. Beyond that the food can generally taste well if you order anything else. Drink menu is solid. Fair pricing. Waitress service is good, but kitchen is unprofessional and cuss like sailors loudly so you can hear it from the customer area.

Breakfast Heaven! Bring your appetite! The portions are huge! The pancakes 🥞 are bigger than the plate! Their waffles are normal size. Both the pancake and waffle are exceptional! I would recommend sharing here! Unless you have a dog to take food home to! The restaurant is clean. The servers are friendly and attentive. The building is a log cabin. It's very rustic and country. They also have a bar area with plenty of T.V. to watch sports. Very cool place!

The food and the portions were excellent, the chicken fried steak, was amazing! The bucket of bacon.. definitely a must. The service was excellent and surprisingly we got in pretty quick for having a large group
Robert Y — Google review
I’ve been a few times, usually enjoyed the food, but this last experience was an unfortunate one. Christmas Eve morning we went to breakfast, I had a pregnancy craving for pancakes. I got a lemon poppyseed pancake, took it home, and found a piece of printed paper cooked into the pancake! I went back again and took some visiting family on New Years Eve morning, because I do enjoy the food, but I wanted to let them know about it. Maybe even see if they’d be willing to make it right somehow. It was very busy, I could tell the waitress was stressed. But I told her about the paper, showed her the photo, and she said she was very sorry, the manager would be over to talk to me about it. No one showed up. We get our check at the end, there were add ons that we were not told about and ones that were mistakes. Again, I know it’s busy, but I asked if the manager would be over and she said yes. No one ever came. We waited 15-20 minutes until we just decided to pay and leave. Not impressed with the miscommunication, and especially them not making something right.
Chrissa W — Google review
The lemon poppyseed pancake is delicious, but HUGE! I wasn't super impressed with the scramble, but I am sure it's because I picked tri-tip, which was probably not "made to order." I think Ben was our server, and although he was busy, he really had a positive presence and great recommendations.

Amazing brunch spot in Meridian outside of Boise, ID. We were staying in Nampa and needed to grab brunch one morning. This place did not disappoint. The chicken fried steak is their signature plate and it’s a large portion of some of the best chicken fried steak I’ve had. They offer a good cup of coffee, friendly staff, a down home feel, and over the top portions. If you go for breakfast it’s likely you’ll take your lunch home with you. The place is big and has plenty of seating for large groups as well.
Tristan I — Google review
We came to eat brunch & it was delicious! The time to get seated was awhile about a 20 minutes. We had 7 people to seat & the order time was another 25 minutes. It took awhile but it was worth it. The food was cooked good, and let’s talk about the size of those pancakes! It’s a meal in itself. The service was good and very helpful. Give this place a try next time for your breakfast or brunch outing!

Rembrandts is a vibrant café and restaurant located in downtown Eagle, offering freshly roasted coffee and a variety of comforting dishes in an art-filled environment. The charming interior and spacious patio make it a popular gathering place for locals to enjoy good food and conversation. The menu caters to both vegetarians and meat lovers, with options for kids as well.
I went to this place with my family and friends, and I loved it. The food is delicious, although the portions aren’t very big. You’ll enjoy an exquisite flavor, but in somewhat small servings. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it special—especially since it’s located in the heart of downtown Eagle and provides a very welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The building used to be an old church and still maintains its original facade, as it’s considered a historic site. I wish they shared more about the history of the building, though. It seems they assume everyone already knows what it used to be. But Idaho has grown so much that many of us—like me—are just now learning to love this beautiful place and its stories.
Elvis D — Google review
Love the setting, a converted church we used to drive by for years before it became a coffee shop with pastries, then added some baked items and continued to reinvent itself with the addition of outside dining, and recently with dinner. I've always found the service to be a cut above many of the neighboring restaurants in downtown Eagle, anticipating with delivery of hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, etc. ahead or with the food instead of once a meal is half finished. Bringing food out hot, asking how you are enjoying the meal before presenting the check. If there is any one complaint, sometimes it take awhile after ordering to get food. In part, that's because the kitchen is a lot smaller than the roomy dining area. I'd encourage you to come back to downtown Eagle, FINALLY most of the road construction and orange cones have disappeared and all the business there have had to suffer from interruptions in being able to maneuver the Old State Street and Eagle Road intersection. My favorite is the multiple versions of Eggs Benedict including the option to have one of each instead of two of the same Benedict preparations. My wife is "Steady Eddie" with an order of scrambled eggs, toast and maybe a different order of potatoes (home fries or hash browns) or meat. I love their Reuben, the meat is from Porterhouse nearby. If you want comfort, try to score one of the overstuffed chairs in the middle of the dining room. Secret conversations, pick the back room. The booths along the side have lost their padding and could really use a refresh, my only complaint about the atmosphere. Be sure to order one of the big bowl china cups of specialty coffees, they also have a decent variety of wines and are open for dinner. Busy on the weekends, easier to have a relaxing time during the week.

First visit and am wondering why it took me so long to come here. We will definitely be back. I sat outside and enjoyed the day before it become unbearable. Nestled in the heart of Eagle, Idaho, Rembrandts offers a unique dining experience that blends history, charm, and delicious food. Housed in the historic First Baptist Church of Eagle, originally built in 1895 and relocated to its current site in 1906, Rembrandts has been a beloved part of the community since taking over the space in 2004. This rich history and architectural distinction set it apart from the more modern restaurants in the area, giving it a warm and inviting ambiance that enhances the dining experience. Rembrandts is well-known for serving breakfast for most of the day, making it a go-to spot for those who enjoy a leisurely morning meal. Their cappuccinos are excellent, offering a smooth and well-balanced coffee experience. The corned beef hash, with poached eggs, Biscuits and gravy and eggs, and crispy bacon are standout breakfast options, each prepared with care and quality ingredients. For lunch, the burger is a solid choice, and their cauliflower wings provide a flavorful and satisfying alternative for those seeking a lighter or vegetarian-friendly option. Beyond the food, the service at Rembrandts is exceptional. The staff is attentive, accommodating, and genuinely committed to ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether stopping in for a quick coffee or a full meal, guests can expect to feel welcomed and well taken care of. With its unique setting, delicious food, and outstanding service, Rembrandts is a must-visit in Eagle. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal in a historic and charming environment.

The brunch is particularly praised for its depth of flavors and careful curation of recipes. Overall, visitors highly recommend this spot for its delicious food and welcoming ambiance.
I have been to other Lemon Tree Co.s and I thought they are some chain restaurants between fast food and little dinners, but this The Grove by Lemon Tree Co. changed my mind. Their food quality is equivalent to a mid class restaurant, they are healthy, well designed and well prepared, and they are undoubtedly delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich and country potatoes. The sandwich bun was really really burnt and the potatoes were underdone. I ate the sandwich anyway, tearing the sides off that were the most burnt because I had to get going. The waitress was super nice and offer a new one but since I was in a hurry, I got a discount instead. Discount maybe should have been a bit more considering I could not eat the potatoes. The ingredients were high quality so it’s unfortunate that the cook ruined it. Three stars only because the waitress was nice and I’ve eaten here before and it was really good the time before. Hope they turn themselves around. Hate when places go downhill.

I've dined with several groups of 8-12 people here, and everyone had been quite pleased with their meals. The flavors are great, presentation is beautiful, and service is great. This location has a larger menu than the downtown location and later hours, too! I love the mushroom flatbread.
Mirel R — Google review
I don’t say this lightly, that was the best brunch I have ever had… There was so much depth in every bite, you could really tell there was a lot of care and thought that went into curating the recipes and preparing them well before they even got plated. This was our third visit to a Lemon Tree in 3 days. We met the owner day 1 at the Harris Ranch location which prompted our next two visits to the Parkcenter location. I had no idea that was even there, not to mention the extended menu options beyond what we all know to be delicious sandwiches! It feels like fine dining in an inviting, casual cafe. The service was wonderful, high quality experience all around. We can’t wait to go back!

You'll definitely want to avoid living here if you can absolutely help it. The former management company was great, however the new Seattle-based company that just bought the place doesn't even acknowledge residents if they have legitimate concerns or questions. Recent construction has trampled all over my rights as a tenant and the management company simply will not answer phone calls or emails in regards to this. If you're looking for a place to rent, save yourself the trouble and rent from a company that will treat you with respect and dignity.

First of all, best spot for a good brunch! Came with my Young Adult Group from Church. Had such wonderful lovely attentive service from @Jules. She was busy, but had a great smile! I appreciated her service and her going above and beyond. As well as asking her boss for a special request 🥲😍🤭 Which! Im forever thankful! Great team. Since she was comfortable enough to ask questions to her boss. Just overall everyone there at the restaurant team seemed great. @Obed at the Cash Register, he was also very kind! Very much appreciated his customer service as well. I will be coming back of course to Boise Location Cracker Barrel. 🥞🥐🍽

To start out the food tasted good it was also filling. I really want to give this place a 5 star overall but it just missed a few spots they changed the menu but I only saw the dinner menu so things could be on the lunch menu and such. They also forgot the juices for my two nieces that came with their dinners. The place is still near and the store has a variety of things at a slight upscaled price. I wish they had the variety of burgers and similar dishes they had over the ~20 years we've gone here. But the demand and popularity of dishes have probably changed. Our family will still probably come and if you are interested you most likely won't be disappointed.

Meeting Katie’s she’s humorous, confident, experienced with the menu, friendly, kind, an excellent communicator she must be intelligent and thoughtful I’d recommend this steak 🥩 and eggs for the taste 👅 and service has been worth it I’d say the experience has been positive with the good hearted women that are vey friendly

It has been a while since I’ve been here so we thought we would give it a try. They still have their old logo and the interior has the old decor as well. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfast menu and the value for money was very good. Our server was also very attentive. I’m glad we gave it a try.

I have loved Cracker Barrel from the first. I have had good experiences and bad experiences. This time I actually had two experiences in the same day. For breakfast, although not busy, the waitress was a little spacey. She forgot a few things. The family meals we ordered later for dinner had a bit of a wait for the appointed but the dinner was a much better experience than the last time. This time the fried chicken was edible, lol. Everything was delicious. Exactly what I expect from Cracker Barrel.

We don't have a Cracker Barrel near where we live so it is usually a treat to go to one when we visit out son. This time it was very disappointing. The people who worked there were very nice and made us feel at home like always. However, instead of the paper menus we were given a laminated one that had nice pictures but seemed sterile. The paper menus they had before were a rustic touch and added to the general feel of the restaurant. The laminated menus were no different then what you get anywhere else. They lost their distinctive from the get go. I ordered the catfish and my wife ordered the lime chicken. Neither of us cared for what we got. My fish was breaded and crunchy, but very dry. I also had the green beans and corn. Both were tasteless like they came out of a can. I remember the corn and green beans as being more flavorful with usually lots of butter to give it substance, this was just plain. My wife said her chicken tasted like they cooked the chicken and poured the lime sauce all over it. It was too much lime and the chicken was tasteless and the chicken was swimming in the green bean liquid. The corn muffin and biscuits were, to our surprise, awful. The corn muffins were not as grainy as they once were, I liked the coarseness of the corn muffin before; these seemed to be more cake-like and they tasted funny/artificial. I didn't much care for the corn muffin before, but I hated these. The biscuits were dense and somewhat chewy. I used to love their biscuits because they were light and had a good flavor. The bottoms of these were chewy and the biscuit was dense. Again, they tasted off. Did not like them at all. All-in-all, I missed the southern feel that Cracker Barrel had. My wife's family are from the south and I was indoctrinated in that. I loved Cracker Barrel, its atmosphere, the people and most of all the food. They lost their distinctiveness and became like all the rest of the chain store restaurant; bland and the same. Probably will not go back and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Country fried steak was awful. It tasted like it had been frozen too long before they cooked it. Gravy had a strange taste also. The service was great. Biscuits and (tiny serving) of loaded hashbrown casserole was good. UPDATE: Cracker Barrel took the time to reach out to me and make this right. I'm grateful for their swift customer service. As a result I have changed my rating.

We were seated very quickly by a very polite host. The waitress took drink very quickly and gave us time to decide what we wanted. She took our order and we got food quickly everything was very good . My only complaint is the corn bread muffins could have been done a little more. They were barely done.

Le Peep is a laid-back eatery that offers an extensive menu of simple dishes and coffee beverages. Unfortunately, some customers have reported unsatisfactory service, with wait times for greetings and orders being longer than expected. The staff appeared disinterested in their work, which detracted from the overall experience. Cold food was served without syrup for waffles, leading to further disappointment. Despite these shortcomings, the food itself was decent.
Went there for the first time today and the food was amazing. Just went for the basic breakfast and was very impressed. From the buttermilk pancakes to the sourdough toast eggs cooked perfectly and three jumbo sausage. I couldn’t eat it all. They even ask how you want your hash browns regular or crispy. The service was great as well. Just enough to make sure you had what you needed but still allowing you to eat comfortably. I will for sure be going back. Sorry I didn’t take the picture first but once I took a bite I couldn’t stop

Went here with my friend on a Friday just before noon. The staff was nice and the place was clean and comfortable. They were short staffed so the wait for our meals was kinda long but who cares. It happens and we just chatted away while we waited. Our food was good. Friend got an omelet and I got a scramble. My only complaint was my potatoes were totally over done and burnt. I'm not one to get too worked up so I didn't send it back or anything. Things happen so I just chalked it up to a rare mishap

Breakfast at Le Peep Meridian was a mix of great food and slow service. The meal itself was delicious, but I waited over 10 minutes just to get a cup of coffee after being seated. If the service matched the quality of the food, this would be an easy 5 stars. Hoping it was just an off day, because the kitchen really delivered.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and an extra ⭐️ for Lucy!) We were seated immediately, and the food was delicious. Best part was our server, Lucy! She was on top of everything from start to finish and clearly had our entire experience in mind. Her helpful suggestions made the meal even better. Lucy deserves 6 out of 5 stars!

Le Peep Meridian Official Denver Omelet Review Appearance: 8.0 Nicely folded as a 'mixed' topping omelet, with a golden crisp on the edge of the egg. Uniquely stylized with some of the classic Denver Omelet toppings on top of the omelet which added some color. It is a little on the 'smaller side' which we will get to later... Ingredients: 8.25 Eggs were standard quality, more dense than fluffy. Peppers had a nice texture and crunch. Ham was cubed and tasted average with a regular pinch of salt. Not much cheese, except some was mixed into the omelet's fold (which is acceptable and okay with me). Cooked well and mixed evenly throughout the experience. Taste: 9.0 Very clean and delicious taste, starting with a oil baseline that is not over the top and allows the egg to speak for itself. Flavors were well established and well mixed together. All around a great tasting omelet. Experience: 8.5 Toast was good, potatoes were delicious, and coffee is one of the best out there - with lots of fill ups/top offs! The only Denver Omelet negative is that it is listed as a "Mini Denver". I question what would make such an amazing dish deserve to be 'Mini" however, I appreciate the portion size compared to the price for a "mini" omelet. It is still a must-order for any enthusiasts out there. Overall, Le Peep is one of the most reliable breakfast spots for the family. Lots of delicious options for everyone, including the Denver Omelet Enthusiast within your family :) Total Denver Omelet Review Score: 33.75

Not sure what’s recently changed but the atmosphere, seating and service were as great as our breakfast and coffee. It was greatly greatly improved over previous visits over the years. Alicia was our server and she was PERFECT!!!! All of the tables were well attended to with guests answering to have the same high level of service and experience as we were.

Breakfast restaurant
Express Cafe is a cozy neighborhood spot that serves up classic American breakfast and lunch dishes. The staff is known for efficiently catering to customers with time constraints, ensuring quick service without compromising on the quality of the food. Customers rave about the deliciously prepared eggs, enormous pancakes, and fresh non-bitter coffee that perfectly complements the meals. Despite its small size, this cafe sees a steady flow of patrons, with some opting for the drive-through service.
We really need to go back as a group again. Jammed into a couple tables, all thirteen of us loved this place. It's a small coffee, breakfast and lunch cafe with the old style "u" shaped counter, hard surface booths, lots of white paint on the walls, servers that move between the tables so fast - taking orders, dropping off beverages and food, condiments, and then picking it all up, cleaning the surfaces and starting all over again. Pricing is very reasonable, especially for the size of the portions. Putting it altogether, that's why the parking lot, especially on weekends and morning time is usually full. No photos of the Taco Omelet and Everything Omelet, those were dug into before I could capture. Sure looked filling. Really liked how crispy the country potatoes and fries were, and a clean oil taste, even for the fish and chips and chicken strips. Decent biscuits and gravy. Just a solid place for breakfast.

Express Cafe will always have a tender spot in my heart. I have so many fond memories of this joint. Many breakfasts have been eaten here when my daughter was little. Many mother's day outings here with my daughter before I worked my 13 hour shift serving other moms. It will forever hold the best memories for me. It has been close to 9 years since I have eaten here. Moving towards the north end created a big distance between us. But I was in the area with my neice today so we stopped in for breakfast. There's no other place in Meridian that I'd rather eat breakfast at! I remember this joint when the old owners owned it. It honestly was run down, old and dated. Your typical greasy spoon. My friend, Bob, took it over about 10 years ago and has totally given it the face lift it needed. It's brighter, cleaner and welcoming. I love the fresh flowers with our beautiful country's flag by the front door. I love the flowers painted on the windows too, it gives it such a fun appearance. I love the bright white building with the black trim. I love the bright lines in the parking lot. It's been revamped outside and it's gorgeous. Inside of the venue has had work done as well. The drapes were red, white and blue to go with the 4th of July. I love that they decorated for America's birthday. I'm sure they change it through the different holidays. The lighting is brighter. The decor is simple and fun. It just looks cleaner and fresh inside. It's not the old greasy spoon it used to be. My neice and I decided to sit at the bar, that's where my daughter and I used to eat at all the time. Kaitlyn greeted us and got our drinks started. I got hot coffee and my neice got an orange juice. I appreciate the creamer they had neatly placed by the condiments. It was nice not to have them just thrown in a bowl. Little details like that are fantastic. After breezing over the menu, we got our food placed with Kaitlyn. I got the popeye omelet with only 2 eggs instead of 3, cheddar instead of Swiss with no onions or mushrooms. I got fruit instead of bread and potatoes. My neice got the Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream on top with a side of hashbrowns. My omelet was cooked perfectly. It had a generous amount of spinach. We know spinach shrinks really bad when it's cooked and vanishes. You can tell they didn't hold back with the spinach. The cheese was nice and melty in the middle. Even though I asked for my omelet to be 1 egg shy of it's normal 3, I only ate half. It was a hearty omelet. My fruit was ok. It wasn't fresh fruit but I didn't mind. I ate a much as I could. My neice polished half of her huge waffle. It looked tasty with the berries and whipped cream. The side of hashbrowns was no joke. It was such a huge portion! We ate about a third of it and took the rest home to enjoy later. My friend, Bob has done such an amazing job making this place his own. Express Cafe will always be one of Meridian's best breakfast joints. The amount of years it's been around speaks for itself. I'm so proud of Bob and all that he's done. The food was good today. Service from Kaitlyn was fantastic! I'm just sad that it took my close to 9 years to come back. That's going to change and I look forward to having Express Cafe be a part of my day sometime soon. I won't allow another 9 years to pass by.

This place is kinda like a dive bar. You get the old-school vibe and ambiance with more than excellent food. I had a meeting there with my colleagues at Rush Aviation Rentals and we all loved it. The hash browns were cooked to perfection and had no grease, unlike what you find at other breakfast spots. I would highly recommend this place!

Great place for a breakfast like Mom used to make. The service was friendly and the menu read like a place from Texas! Real middle America comfort food. I had (naturally) eggs and biscuit / gravy. My wife had a very good omelet. This is a must on a morning you want that special breakfast!

A very pleasant surprise! It was the first time I've ever eaten here and boy was I impressed! I was seated quickly and my server was kind. I sadly never caught his name but huge shout out to him! He made sure my fellow diner's requests were met with a smile. The food came out super quickly. On that note, the food. It. Was. Delicious. I must admit the prices had me skeptical. You never get good food for cheap, or so I thought. This was WAY better than any other chain diner style restaurant. Oh, and did I mention it was cheap? One weird note that shouldn't affect the rating was the amount of older patrons in the building during lunch. Not a bad thing, I just wish younger people like myself knew what they were missing. Overall, great experience. I will be coming back!

This has been on my radar for a while and it's always closed by the time we get to this side of. Finally made it in and it was a good American comfort food. We ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, pork and eggs. Grand daughter ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta. All good food!

We love this place and eat here all the time. But this time 5/23 it’s like you got a different cook. The clam chowder wasn’t as good. Nachos in the Nacho bar would be nice if you had taco meat. Cheese on chips is not Nachos. Also it would be nice if you change out your buffet on different nights. Please don’t start going downhill cause this restaurant is the best around. Very disappointed tonight!

Had their salad and dinner buffet which is quite satisfactory - same good spread as last visit. The server in the bar area was friendly and efficient. The kitchen staff is able to change the TV channel at the bar, imagine! I was informed he could watch some of the game he wanted to see as he was also the " manager on duty". Good gig, Cisco!

We were traveling through town and saw KJs on the map. It was a perfect stop for travelers! Staff was kind and very efficient. Loved that there was a salad bar!!! It is thorough and massive. Wish I would’ve taken a closer look before ordering because that’s all I would’ve gotten. Husband ordered French dip which was awesome. And kids also enjoyed chicken strips, burger, and fries. I had chicken salad sandwich with salad bar which was great. Like I said, we were traveling through but would definitely go back!

We were very skeptical to visit this restaurant based on recent negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food, large portions, and friendly prompt service. We took a large party in during a busy time and they were quite attentive. The diner is definitely a local place, and it is not a new shiny building, but a cozy local restaurant. We had the Chicken Fried Steak, the breakfast skillet, BLT, and Mickey Mouse pancakes. The food was great, our only comment was that the chicken fried steak/biscuits & gravy were not to our taste, but the food quality was good.

I took my granddaughters here on a Friday. They weren't hungry so they just had hot chocolate with whipped cream. I had the traditional bacon and eggs. It was good. The toast was a little on the burnt side. I was taken by surprise that toast was an additional 2.60. I guess I expected it as standard equipment. Breakfast for me and hot chocolate and a side of bacon for the girls came to just north of 35.00. I had a little sticker shock but I know food costs are up. They serve Boyds coffe which is much better than Farmers brand. Ada said the hot chocolate was good. An 8 out of 10. Hattie says 10 out of 10. I would go again.

Always yum! We order lots and share because everything is so good and easy to please ladies in their 70s and preschoolers alike! If you have children who order a pancake, boys generally get Mickey shaped and girls get Minnie(an added bow!) for no extra charge! However there is not exactly a kids menu. I order side items to round out us sharing things! Perfect onion rings! The sweetest staff! Great location! Beautiful building!

A cute clean and quaint restaurant. Our sweet little waitress seated us and as we look in our menus she got our drinks. The coffee was excellent not too weak but certainly not too strong . After she took our orders we had a little bit of a wait. It was starting to get busy so I would say about 20 minutes. There were four of us and none of us had any complaints with our food.. Everything was made exactly how we wanted it and requested it. Prices are reasonable & portions are extremely generous. I can't say enough about our sweet little waitress she was very attentive. We make sure to leave her a nice tip. I highly recommend this place not sure if we'll be back any time soon since we were from out of state.. I recommend to anyone that lives local you should try this place. You definitely won't be disappointed by stopping in at the trolley house -& giving it a try

The jam was amazing we asked for one more container since they are so small..

Fantastic, quaint little place. It took a little while to get my order of breakfast nachos, but the wait was more than worth the wait. Was listening to a fascinating conversation between two older gentlemen about Roman history while I waited and allowed my eyes to wander about the room and take in the copious artifacts in the walls. If you are looking for a place to escape from the world and experience fabulous good, at a very reasonable price, this is the perfect spot for you. I know I'm already planning to get a babysitter and bring my wife for breakfast or dinner.

The wife and I were looking for a new breakfast place to try out. Liked the atmosphere from the outside, but the inside had a really strong “cleaning” smell to it that was not pleasant. Service was so-so. Took a little while to get our order taken, but when we received our food, it was about a 5 minute wait for silverware. Food temperature was definitely reduced at that point. I had a spicy omelette, and the wife had the French Toast. The French Toast was really good, but the omelette was sub par. I’ve enjoyed the omelettes at IHOP and Denny’s more than Trolley House. Overall for $22.00 to feed 2 people is probably a typical price, but I don’t see myself going there for breakfast anymore. Glad the wife and I got to at least try it out. Cheers!

Java, located in downtown Boise, is a long-standing coffee shop that has been serving the city for over two decades. Known for its specialty mochas like the "bowl of soulful" and the high-energy "Keith Richards," this cozy cafe also offers breakfast and lunch options. The Hyde Park location, housed in a charming mid-century bungalow, has been a beloved hangout spot within one of Boise's iconic neighborhoods.
Great coffee shop in downtown Boise! It was packed on a Saturday morning but we were still able to snag a table. My friend ordered the Mexican chocolate latte and eggs and toast for breakfast. Prices are very fair. They have many fun specialty lattes to pick from as well as the typical rundown. The baristas were so sweet and pleasant. It seems like it would be a good place to study at during the week.

I used to work buy this coffee joint which is only another block down from another coffee shop I used to hit up. If I would have known the vibe of this joint sooner, I would have been in a long time ago. I was in the area so I stopped in for a coffee break. Heard nothing but great things so of course I had to check it out. Walking in, the vibe is very 90's to me. You got the big comfy couches, the decor and music. The music brought me back to high school. It's like I warped back in time to my high school days, with my big backpack and all my homework. I remember listening to this same music with my big mug of coffee. It brought back such fond memories. I got myself an iced americano with sugar free English toffee with room for cream. I appreciate that the sweet barista left enough room for my cream and not fill it to the brim. They have a table fully loaded with condiments for your drinks and food. I added my half and half with a blue packet and made my way to a table. I normally don't kick it for a long time at coffee shops but today, I hung out for over an hour. I love the vibe so much! I chilled for a bit inside and drank the rest of my coffee outside. They have a couple tables facing East so the sun wasn't beating on me. Even though it's a busy area, it was still pretty relaxing. If I could give this joint more than 5 stars I would. All the other 5 star joints I have ranked were great but I will have I say, they don't complete the vibe like how this place does. I really do look forward to coming back and having a another drink here. Great drink, sweet vibe and perfect weather = happy day.

Java House is hands down one of my favorite places to grab coffee. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. I have to give a special shoutout to the Keith Richards—it’s my go-to drink and absolutely amazing. Strong, smooth, and just the right kick to get your day going. Whether I’m meeting a friend or just need a quiet spot to work, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Pumpkin chocolate chip bred was DELISH, interior is a cool vibe, service was good. I will say I got a specialty drink with black tea, some other flavors, and coconut milk, but all I could taste was the tea. A little disappointing. Also, their prices for food seems kind of crazy. I would come back, but this is not an establishment I will be visiting more than once every two weeks.

The bowl of soul is still a clear winter, and the interior is older than ever. The place is feeling tired and old, so it really needs some pick up. The staff is quiet and reserved making the place feel unfriendly. Sure Java is here to stay with a great downtown location and a solid menu, but it’s time to primp the place up a bit. Yikes. Very friendly service, but who the hell cares when the food and coffee is so horrible. I find it strange that, as a coffee house serving coffee in to go cups, they don’t really have any breakfast options that are good on the go. I got the Java Benedict which was some regular deli ham, watered down hollandaise, and a burnt bagel. Coffee was so hot I couldn’t drink it for 20 minutes so when I finally could take a decent sip it tasted burnt. I couldn’t even finish my $8 coffee. Cant believe it cost $22 for what I thought would be a quick breakfast. The good reviews are clearly for the service and atmosphere, which is great, but personally I value good food/drinks more.

The staff were friendly, but it took half an hour to receive the two hot beverages and a smoothie that we ordered. The beverages were fine. Nothing special. This places seems to have a menu that’s way too complicated for the staff to support. I wouldn’t stop here unless you have a couple of hours to kill and are really just looking for a place to sit.

TO TIP OR NOT TO TIP.... that is the question. I went in here for the first time, atmosphere was pretty cool. got up to the register to order, no smile, now "how are you", they turn the monitor and stare into your soul watching your fingers, what will you do??? will you tip??? how much, how little??? very uncomfortable feeling. I struggle with tipping in these type of scenarios, at the end of the day, you are making a coffee not giving me table service. I had to get up here, wait in line, but WHATEVER, I figured, I'd tip, mostly because they are staring me down and I feel guilty and a little bit forced to do so. I figured, well, at least, maybe, they will bring my coffee to me since I also ordered food and they gave me a table marker. a few minutes pass by, they yell my name, or so I thought, they do it again, I walk up. she looks at me almost annoyed that I wasn't there waiting for my coffees and that she had to call my name more than once. I said, "I tipped, even for a tip, you can't bring me my coffee"? lets be clear, my table was maybe 15 to 20 steps away!! She looks at me, dead in the eyes and said, "you don't have to tip"!! no ownership of the situation, where is the customer service? I mean, I worked in a Restaurant through Highschool, servicing tables. I know about customer service, yet the world today doesn't seem to care about customer service, just expect a tip. Her condescending tone and attitude really P me off!!! I looked at her and said, "WOW, your attitude is exactly why people often wonder if you deserve a tip of not". I asked her, am I going to have to come back for my food? she said nope, they did bring that to me, which I appreciated. I guess a 15% tip doesn't merit service anymore, which makes me wonder, DANG should I have tipped 50% and would that be different? LOL. very disappointed with their service, I do not think I will be going back there again. Management or ownership, I hope you get a hold of this. I am just one right now, how many more will you lose for this level of customer service....

Terri's Cafè, nestled inconspicuously in the heart of Meridian, is a hidden gem that may elude your attention if you're not careful. However, missing out on this establishment would be a grave mistake. One patron delighted in their freshly poached Eggs Benedict and couldn't help but rave about them. Another customer was thoroughly impressed by the fantastic Reuben sandwich accompanied by a chicken rice soup that tasted homemade, leaving an incredible impression.
Shockingly cozy little diner. Coffee was good even without creamer. The ham was delicious and was so easy to cut with just a fork. I highly recommend the Huckleberry Stuffed French Toast. It was so good, well balanced flavor and not over sweet. The chicken Apple Sausage link had great flavor and a great snap.

What a great place to catch breakfast early! Broad menu selection for just about anything you'd be looking for. Go early for best seating and parking. Food was fresh and hot, we'll be back!

Tried Terri's Cafe on a recommendation. We went early so seating was no problem (it's somewhat small and gets busy). Waitress recommended country fried steak and it was very good. My companion had corned beef hash and eggs and his was very good as well. Good size portions and fair prices. Good service and a fun atmosphere. We'll be back. Highly recommended!

Ok, if you are GF gluten free this place is a MUST. I got the GF waffle. It was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. One of the best I have ever had. They have Huckleberry and marionberry syrup. Get the Huckleberry. You wont be disappointed. They have a separate Gluten free menu that makes it so easy to order. My server Anika was great! Another thing that is cool is that when they give you the bill, at the bottom it has a QR code you can pay while at the table. Super easy.

The servers are friendly and experienced, the menu, while extensive, is well executed and there is something for everybody. I’ve only been here for breakfast with others, so most of the photos reflect that. Lots of Eggs Benedict choices, I’ve only had the standard and its above average, so would also recommend. The Joe’s Special, a favorite from the SF and San Jose past as served at Original Joes is a nod to the original. Terri’s three egg version is a decent replica without all that visual of watching chefs all in a line cranking out brunch with flames from the cooking oil, steam coming off the fresh sauteed spinach and sausage adding to the enjoyment. The group I was with last time had very positive things to say about the French toast, the chicken fried steak and eggs, the turkey bacon wrap and French dip sandwich. I've also liked the Reuben, and recommend paying extra to get a side of onion rings instead of fries. Be prepared to sop up the juice from the meat, it’s not some dried out precooked version. You can substitute ground mustard instead of the traditional 1000 island dressing, just let the server know. Since going, I’m told the Monte Cristo is one of the best versions in the valley, so that’s on my to do list for next time.

Absolutley delicious food! Huckleberry heaven is a better description. Do NOT miss the Huckleberry stuffed French toast,.or the Huckleberry pancakes. Oh man, this place is to die for.

Food here is pretty consistent. They are able to accommodate gluten free. Father in law loves the place and I generally take out of towners here. No complaints about the food. The biggest problem is the acoustics. If you have hearing aids, are hard of hearing or have sensory issues, this may be a challenging cafe. Seems most Boise restaurants frequently have this issue. Atmosphere low due to acoustics and restroom.

Id like to first recognize the phenomenal service we received by not only our waitress Kim, but the other waitress that was extremely kind and helpful too! My wife even stated after leaving that she hadn’t experienced service like that anywhere in several years. The staff was eager inviting, attentive, timely, and kind. We took my sister out for a Bday breakfast and were not disappointed! All of my children enjoyed their breakfasts that included the stuffed huckleberry French toast, pancakes, omelette, biscuits and gravy, Fried steak, and more. I made sure to get a taste of it all and was extremely impressed! The serving sizes and prices were also very reasonable. We’ll certainly be driving back again to visit in the near future from Middleton! It was well worth the drive!

Their menu features an array of creative sandwiches, alongside unique soups and salads that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Lemon Tree Co.
Yummy yum yum! Only complaint.. the water stations had no cups I heard several people ask for cups. I tried the beet and yam salad and I added turkey. Very large portion it was amazing fresh and shareable! Great with the turkey sugged by the employee. I also tried the strawberry basil lemonade. Delicious but very sweet 😋

No longer a great gluten-free sandwich place 😔. I have always loved lemon tree for their great gluten-free options. Their sandwiches are amazing. Sadly they recently changed their gluten-free bread and it is terrible. The bread becomes so soggy within 5 minutes of having any sauce on it. I mean soggy is an understatement. The bread becomes mush. I emailed them letting them know my experience... in hopes to not leave a negative review for such a great place. I had hoped I would at least get a response. But I did not. So unless they change the bread... I would say anyone with gluten restrictions... have a salad.
Gracee G — Google review
Great place for a sandwich. I had the Balsamic BLT hold the Mayo, chips and a rasberry lime lemonade. I'm so excited to go back and try more. My daughter had to go gluten-free years ago and I was so impressed with the bread. It always costs extra but so many places she leaves still hungry the meal is so small. Here the sandwich was the same size as mine or maybe even bigger. I'll try the side salad with a sandwich next time. My daughter said it is so delicious. I can't say enough good things about the lemonade and I rarely pay for a drink out because of the expense but I'll be sure to make an exception when I visit the Lemon Tree.

Went into downtown location today. Watched as one lady made the sloppiest sandwich. Turns out it was mine. And then right after I watched as she pulled out her phone to text, while wearing the gloves she was making the sandwiches with. She then proceeded to start touching food again, with the same gloves on…. gross.

I used to live in Boise, and this place was a staple in my life. Now I visit Boise 1-2 times a year to see family and Lemon Tree is always a must on my list. I get the same thing everytime, the half sandwich vegan banh mi (i am not vegan, but this sandwich is incredible) extra peanut butter, and I usually get the salad but this day was cold so I got the soup. Its a must try. I love lemon tree!

We stopped in for lunch and were truly impressed. This was the best meal we had during our entire trip to Idaho. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and going above and beyond! You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the menu had great healthy options without sacrificing flavor. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in Boise and looking for a delicious, satisfying meal that leaves you feeling great.

Lemon Tree is the best! They have excellent gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options and a very fun menu! I also would highly recommend them for catering as well - I did this for a large group at BSU and it was perfect, nice (green friendly) packaging, everything was labeled, with cold beverages and super friendly staff for delivery. Coordinating the catering via email was super easy and they answered all my questions, requests! Highly recommend!!

Nestled in the new Kount Building at 10th and Main, a cafe Boise is a modern, casually styled eatery that offers a range of breakfast staples, salads, soups, and sandwiches alongside an array of coffee beverages. The menu features delectable options such as savory toasts, scrambles, fresh salads like The Buttermilk Scenario with housemade buttermilk dressing and sandwiches like The Fregga breakfast sandwich.
First visit to A Cafe today. I am celiac and must eat gluten free. A Cafe was knowledgable with celiac and made my breakfast in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination. This is music to a celiac's ears because it can be very hard to eat out safely. I ordered a latte and the Green Eggs and Ham, which is a scramble with eggs, ham, arugula, pesto, white cheddar, and cherry tomatoes. Quality ingredients and well prepared. It was very tasty. My scramble came with round gluten free bread that I have never had before. It was very good too and breakfast was filling. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our meal and supporting a small, woman-owned business. Give it a try!

This place has become a real favorite place for the occasional breakfast burrito in my life. Theirs is my favorite in town, by far. The beans are so delicious and the salsa that pairs along with it is so fresh and tasty. Their coffee is great and any of the more elaborate drink orders I've requested they have been more than accommodating on. The staff here are so sweet and always seems to be having a good time at work, which speaks well to the environment there! They also always go above and beyond for dietary restrictions and vegetarian options. I also love all of the cool and unique cook books and things to check out there as well.

There's a reason ā café is the highest-rated brunch in Boise. This is a clean, bright, vibrant space with incredible food! I swear the D-Town Scramble must be the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten. Sitting at the counter and enjoying pastries and breakfast foods is just an exquisite experience I must have again!

One of the best, if not the best places to have “non-American” breakfast. Food is super tasty, always fresh and it’s making me to come again and again! Good choice of drinks: coffee/vine/cider/soda etc. All is on a high lvl. Service is client-oriental, staff is positive and always smiling which gives you a good mood. 10/10!!!

Stopped by to grab a quick breakfast to go while my family was getting coffee next door. I’m usually very generous with tipping — I even added 20% for what was supposed to be simple counter service. What did I get in return? Complete indifference. My order was delayed, no one acknowledged me, and there wasn’t even a basic apology. Not a single server bothered to check in, while customers who came after me received their orders first. My food was handed to me in a box without a smile or a word. The difference in service compared to Scottsdale is drastic. For the first time, I’m genuinely questioning my tipping habits. Somewhere along the way, tipping became expected — but service seems to have been forgotten.

Downtown Boise near Library! In the Afton condos 611 S. 8th Street, 6:30 to 3 pm as of May 2024 The Bagel Shop Reuben at $15 is well above the prices of Blue Sky, but every once in a while I want an indulgence buy. Pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian dressing. Last Sunday, had mine on dark Pumpernickel. It’s not real big, however every bite was delicious. My wife likes the everything bagel with a delicious thick spread of veggie cream cheese. All the spreads remind me of being in Brooklyn, The bagels are smaller in diameter than H & H in New York, but every bit as good. Cute place to hang out and people watch. Anxious to try some of the different cream cheese spreads and canned drinks.

Decent bagels, mine was pretty dry and burnt with not much filling but the rest of my groups bagels look much better with more filling or moisture. Would recommend ordering one of their options with more filling and maybe even not toasting it to ensure it has a good amount of flavor and softness! I like how they support local artists with limited run t-shirts and stickers too

Nice aesthetic bagel shop. Solid bagels, more east coast than the Portland bagel shop over there. You know the one. Lotta fashion mullets over there, I don’t feel I can trust someone to make my bagel with a haircut like that. It’s nothing personal. Just like you wouldn’t trust a hillbilly with watching your house while you’re in Europe for a month. Or trusting a hippie. You wouldn’t trust a hippie would you? Why risk it on this bagel thing then? Are the people that owns this actually East coast people, or do they just think it’s cute. Really more questions than answers here… Time will tell.

Spitfire Tacos + Tequila is a unique and vibrant eatery located in Downtown Eagle. It offers an array of bold and innovative flavor combinations, including legendary breakfast burritos from Earlybird Breakfast Burritos, globally inspired tacos and burritos, and delightful sharable dishes. The establishment boasts an exceptional agave-focused cocktail program that perfectly complements the menu.
Where to begin...this place is a real winner. Decided to get a quick drink and that turned into food and I couldn't be happier it did. Cocktails are excellent (tequila focused but not exclusively), and presented well. I had their seasonal taco which was a Cubano taco, RUN don't walk to get this amazing dish. I am serious, don't sleep on this one, it is all the best elements of a Cuban sandwich turned into a taco. The flavors are very authentic, I could have mistaken it for the inside of a Cuban in Miami (ohlf which i have had many) inside a fresh tortilla. Anyway, the guacamole and salsa were excellent as was my friends burrito. I would add that the prices are very fair and I felt was a value for the quality. I would be remiss to not mention the service, our server Seb was excellent, attentive, and very friendly. Finally, I rarely have a dessert but their churros...insane, that's the only word I can think of. Eagle is lucky to have such a great spot like this. I think their slogan kind of fits them well "authentically made inauthentic tacos" because the combos of flavors are quite unique so definitely give them a try.
Matthew H — Google review
Good vibes and great service! Kyle was the best and served our large group without any hiccup. The drinks are good, but the cocktails we tried were very sugary. I know some people like that, but not my preference. The food is heavily seasoned and salty, which was just a little too excessive for my taste. Definitely worth a try! I first saw this place on Instagram and was dying to try it. Prices are pretty high considering what you get. Tab for 4 (only 2 alcohol drinkers) was about $140.

Awesome craft tacos—every bite was packed with flavor. Be sure to ask for the different salsas—they’re all super tasty. The customer service was great—friendly and helpful from start to finish. We didn’t try the cocktails, but they looked amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Five Stars for Fire and Flavor! Spitfire isn’t just a name — it’s the spirit of this place. From the moment I walked in, the energy crackled like a fresh tortilla hitting a hot grill. The team was pure 🔥 — fast, friendly, and fun without missing a beat. The tacos? Bold enough to have their own passport. The service? So good it should come with a standing ovation. Thanks Noah! Spitfire delivers exactly what you’d hope for: a lively, delicious experience that feels like a mini vacation in the middle of Eagle. I’ll definitely be back — and next time, I’m staying for an extra round of those agave cocktails!

Knew I was gonna love this place when I walked in the door. Funky homegrown feel, littered with comfortable people, locals, and travelers, who come to have their moment of zen and/or community. I like a lot this place the sandwich are really good but is the second time I go there and order something and they give me something different or incomplete from my order. Last time I ordered the avocado toast w/works + an egg and they gave me the normal avocado toast, no works, no egg, and this time I ordered the same thing and they gave me the avocado toast w/works but without the egg.

This is the best oat milk latte in town. They make their own, in-house oat milk, so it's not filler and oils and does not upset my stomach. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. They have gf quick bread and it was good and had just a hint of cinnamon. It is easy to miss this little spot, tucked away in a neighborhood, but you do yourself a disservice if you don't give them a try. They have about 20 seats inside and a few more out the back if you want to sit outside.

Stopped in for the first time today and was warmly and authentically greeted by their graceful baristas. Easy conversation- nothing pretentious about this shop which seems hard to find these days. I had their dairy-free signature Primal latte and it was purrrrfect. If you're on the hunt for a remarkable dining experience in downtown Boise, look no further than Hemlock. This charming spot is renowned for its incredible breakfast offerings, particularly the French toast that has left many guests raving. The morning cocktail and mocktail selection adds an exciting twist to your meal, making it a perfect start to your day. For those seeking a delightful evening out, Hemlock also shines with its appetizer menu.
Hemlock is exactly what Boise’s been missing. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels upscale yet welcoming. I had dinner with a friend and every dish was incredible, thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of bold flavor. The tableside baked potato service is such a fun touch! We stayed the night at the Inn at 500 and enjoyed brunch the next morning from our balcony, thanks to their in-room Butler Pantry service. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made without seed oils, which I love. Hemlock is officially my new go-to for both a night out and a special brunch. Can’t wait to go back!

An amazing experience! Oh, and our menus had our family name printed on them, nice touch! The food was exquisitely prepared and was absolutely delicious. Plenty of steak options and sauce options. Side dishes were amazing and the table-side baked potato bar is a must. Be sure to be familiar with menu prices before coming. Parking is OK in the hotel parking garage BTW.
Troy H — Google review
We had been meaning to try Hemlock, the newest steakhouse in downtown Boise that took over the former Richard’s space in Hotel 500. It is the latest concept from the team behind one of our favorite taco spots, Spitfire in Eagle. Parking downtown can be a bit tricky, but Hemlock does have valet service available out front. We stopped in for happy hour and grabbed a high-top in the bar. The atmosphere is stylish, with high-end finishes that feel elevated without being pretentious. The chairs, tables, and overall décor all make a great impression. For food, we started with the deviled eggs topped with pork belly, which were perfectly done and a standout bite. Next we split the burger and fries. The burger is a classic flat-top style, made from the prime steak trimmings, and you can really tell. Their house-made burger sauce was an instant hit with both of us. Even though that was plenty of food, I could not resist trying the “1000 layer potato.” Imagine the buttery flakiness of a croissant, but made from thinly layered potatoes. Absolutely divine. Happy hour prices were excellent and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Hemlock is an impressive addition to Boise dining and one we will be returning to many times over. Highly recommended.

This place is an experience. Service was great. They went above and beyond making sure our needs were met and that we were taken care of. The steaks were phenomenal. Melt in your mouth. The butters and sauces we ordered added another layer of flavor. Baked potato was on another level. Can't edit to go again.

Went to Hemlock's happy hour with my girlfriends and had the best time! Ramsey was seriously AMAZING! The atmosphere was super chill, the service was spot on, and everyone was so friendly. We ordered a bunch of their apps and the burger was hands-down our favorite. Already talking about going back.

If you’re looking for a fantastic and memorable dining experience this is the place. My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary here and we’re so happy we chose this restaurant. The hostess greeted us warmly by opening the door for us. We were sat right away, we had a reservation. We were delightfully surprised with the custom message on your menu. The table was very comfortable and the atmosphere was beautiful. We were greeted first by our server’s assistant and she was very friendly. June was our server and she was simply amazing! The food was delicious, the cocktails were exceptional, and the dessert was the perfect finish. I had the Zabuton steak and my husband had the New York steak, they were both cooked to perfection. There was a little mix up at the end of our meal, another server accidentally gave our leftover’s bag to the wrong table. It honestly wasn’t a big deal to us, we still would have left the restaurant very happy with our experience but our server and the manager went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. They remade the food that we had leftover and even reprinted our custom message menus for us to take home. It’s easy to tell that Hemlock prides themselves of delivering an exceptional customer experience and because of that we will be long time customers. Thank you, The Bliss’s

The customized menu was such a lovely surprise- looking at other reviews I can see now that it’s standard for special occasions, but still to us it was SO sweet! Atmosphere is upscale and modern but still very cozy, the chairs were plush and the table was gorgeous! Server was attentive, quick, fun, and just awesome! Drinks were fantastic, special touches but not gimmicky. We specifically came for the table-side baked potato and it didn’t disappoint- fun and DELISH, the menu says it’s for two but could have served 4+ easily😂 Steaks were also cooked to perfection and had a phenomenal char on the outside- texture/flavor/temp, all 10’s.

We went to hemlock last night for the first time and had such an amazing time! Our server, Kimber, was so much fun and so knowledgeable about the menu and steak offerings. All four of us tried different steaks and shared a collection of sides - all of them were so tasty! The bread service is also insane and some of the best bread I’ve ever had. Finally, I think I found my new favorite cocktail ever at Hemlock; the Appaloosa Pear. Highly recommend coming here for a fun and tasty dinner with friends or date night!!

Ti Amo Italian Ristorante is a delightful haven for those seeking an authentic taste of Italy. This charming eatery captures the essence of traditional Italian coffee culture, offering expertly crafted espresso drinks that whisk you away to the bustling coffee bars of Rome. Whether you're savoring a robust macchiato or indulging in a velvety cappuccino, each sip reflects their commitment to quality.
What an awesome restaurant. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Our bartender and waiter could not have been any better. The food was delicious, and everyone loved what they ordered. It was my daughters birthday and she was delighted with her birthday dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant even if you are just hanging out at the bar for happy hour. I know I will be back.

Great food. The atmosphere was nice, and I liked the fire pits out front. It was happy hour, so drinks were 50 percent off. The old fashions were great. My wife's dirty Martini was great, I ordered Baileys, and my pours were really small. The service was fantastic, and I loved the decor. And the food was fantastic and at a great price. Definitely on my list of favorites.

Great service and great food! Faith took excellent care of us and was very patient with us when an extra guest showed up half way through our dinner. Faith suggested the Malbec and gave us lots of information about the Argentinian selection. It was just as delicious as she had described it! The vibe is casual chic, and I can't wait for the weather to warm up because they have great outside seating as well. Ti Amo's willingness and ability to provide gluten-free options is a total bonus! So glad to have such a nice little Italian vibe with amazing service in the heart of Bown Crossing. <3

My husband and I visited Ti Amo for the first time on Valentine’s Day and it was such a wonderful experience. Our server was Brinley, who was so sweet and kind. She went above and beyond to check in on us and provided amazing service. She was even able to change the sauce on the pizza for me as I was craving a white pizza! We got the calamari, margarita pizza, ravioli and tiramisu for dinner and it was all 10/10. The ambiance was also super calm and romantic. The valentines service was super special, we got a card and chocolates and even the pizza was heart shaped! Super memorable! Overall our experience was so lovely, everyone was so kind and friendly and it felt very welcoming. Being pregnant I was specially craving real Italian and this perfectly satisfied the craving! We will definitely be back!

The happy hour offer is very good, half off cocktails and beers and discounted appetizers. I'd give 5 starts for that. I will say the baked goat cheese was fantastic. Their drinks are also very good. I'll be back for both of those.

My partner and I were In town for the weekend and really wanted some good Italian! This place popped up and looked like a great atmosphere. We ordered the balsamic glazed chicken wings, which were a great starter! Accompanied with an espresso martini and raspberry lemon drop. Then had the classic margharita pizza which had a perfect wood fired crust, delicious 😋. Towards the end of our meal one of the owners greeted us and gave us some history of their new restaurant and Italian family upbringing. Lovely experience overall, can’t wait to go back and also tell all our friends who are visiting!
Brian D — Google review
Our waiter was great; However, it took 45 minutes to get our food (and it was not busy). When we finally received our food it was COLD and lacked flavor (think hospital cafeteria food). We ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the chicken parm, both were lackluster. Likely will not return.
Angelica G — Google review
My first visit to Ti Amo was delightful. The interior was charming and modern without feeling like it was trying too hard to be trendy. Although we initially came for brunch, we opted for pasta instead. The coffee was exceptional, and both of our dishes were absolutely superb. We will be back with our friends 💜

Hidden Grounds Coffee has quickly established itself as a must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts. Known for its rich and creamy butter latte made with high-quality grass-fed butter, this charming café offers a delightful experience from the moment you walk in. The friendly service adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making each visit enjoyable. Despite often having a full parking lot, there's convenient parking just across the street. As someone who appreciates quality coffee, I was thrilled when a fellow coffee aficionado recommended Hidden Grounds.
Had the opportunity to check out this new Boise gem. What a calming, adorable atmosphere. The weather was perfect yesterday to sit on the patio with a blanket and sip delicious coffee. My girlfriend and I especially enjoyed the festive cups. We'll definitely be back.

I have been patiently waiting for my schedule to align with this coffee joint's hours. The week of the 4th they were closed. They are only open from Wednesday to Sunday. I happen to have today off so today was the day I get to finally check this place out! I love that this place is called Hidden Grounds. It is not conveniently located on your busy road. It's perfectly hidden off of Hill Rd. Perfectly placed in the North End and just a small drive from my place. If I had one word to describe this place, it would be boujee. From the moment you walk up the stairs to get to the front door, you can just tell this place is going to nice. I love the building they are in. The bright white paint with the black trim with the lush trees around it, it's just the prettiest setting. They have warm blankets at the entrance ready for use on those brisk fall mornings. Plenty of tables and chairs outside to enjoy the weather no matter what season it is. I can only imagine how pretty fall season is in that specific spot. Walking in, you don't get your conventional smells and view. It's stunning, bright and spacious. I smelled lavender as my first scent versus smelling coffee. It honestly smelled like an Aveda spa. It could be from the spa next door or the fresh lavender throughout the shop. The lighting, the decor, the setting, it's all just beautiful. The lovely barista behind the counter greeted me and got my drink started. I ordered my usual, a small iced americano with room for cream. I would have liked to add a sugar free syrup but unfortunately they didn't offer any. They do offer quite a few different varieties of organic syrups. I was offered that option but I declined. The shop is on the quiet side, almost a little too quiet. I sat inside for a minute and decided to head outside go enjoy my drink. There were a few patrons working and stitching outside and it too was really quiet. I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. I have been to quite a few coffee joints and maybe I just like the ones that are a little more vibrant with noise. I snapped a photo of my drink when I got home. I was so out of my element I forgot to take a photo at the venue. My drink was ok. It was on the bitter side. I did add a couple blue packets and a little more half and half which helped tame the bitterness. Glad I came home to modify my drink. I'm sure I wouldn't have finished it due to the bitterness of it. Hidden Grounds is beautiful and conveniently by my home. It's a pleasant drive on Hill to get here. Coming here for coffee would be great but the hours aren't always compatible with my schedule. And they don't offer sugar free syrup options. Even though it didn't really care for my drink, I'm happy I finally got to check this joint out.

Cute ambiance, good coffee, and friendly service. They offer plant milks 👍. They also let us use our own reusable travel coffee cups. Edit: my bf reminded me that he did have a vegan muffin while we were there and he really enjoyed it! 😉

I got an iced matcha with oat milk and simple syrup. It tasted good was just a little gritty. I also went about an hour before they closed and almost all of their food was sold out, which makes sense and says something about how good it is! I did get a slice of banana bread and that hit the spot.
Bailey V — Google review
Hidden Grounds has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops! Their butter latte is absolutely crave-worthy—rich, creamy, and incredibly delicious. I love that they use high-quality grass-fed butter, which adds to the smoothness and depth of flavor. The service is always warm and friendly, making every visit a great experience. It's no surprise that this place is gaining popularity, and while the parking lot is often full, there’s convenient parking available right across the street. If you’re looking for a unique and indulgent coffee experience, Hidden Grounds is a must-visit!

I am a pretty big coffee snob so it is very rare that I get coffee out and about. Hidden Grounds was recommended by another coffee snob friend of mine and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. I got a Pistachio Breve and I am addicted! Great vibe, great food, and the staff were all super nice. Some of the local coffee shops in the area should be trained by this staff on how to extract a decent shot of espresso.

I reckon these guys are only famous to a few. The place is dirty, and they have prepared cups of ice sitting there, on top of their ice machine to collect dust. When people walk in they fill it with their sink.. So rest easy, knowing you won't dehydrate with their dusty water. The biscuits and gravy was gross, and they wouldn't do anything. But live n learn.

We were absolutely thrilled with our breakfast. One of the best places we have eaten at this year! Clean, friendly, and fast. The hash browns were cooked to perfection as was the bacon and the French toast. I had the savory crape and it is by far one of the best breakfast items I've tried in my entire 44 years of life!

Another Boise Breakfast Favorite! We definitely come for the flavor and next level service. Definitely worth the wait! Did I mention the flavor!! First start with their fresh squeezed orange juice. For breakfast and brunch there are so many options to choose from, do not hesitate to let the staff know what dishes you are looking to try. They have excellent suggestions and have great sides and substitutions ideas I cannot get over the gravy train, perfect over hashbrowns. The chicken fried streak is not the normal mush, they have the crispiest and perfected breading over again the delicious gravy. The corned beef and hash browns and definitely not canned.

Went this morning, saw the special was Fench Toast stuffed with pumpkin filling, topped with chopped pecans, and caramel syrup. So yummy, melt in your mouth yummy! Very rich, but satisfying. Also had 2 eggs overeasy- cooked perfect and a maple sausage patty, such wonderful flavor!! Waitress was very attentive and had answers to any questions we had for her. It was a nice quiet morning in the dining area.

First off I recommend coming early like 8am or 9 at the latest. After that expect to wait. I've been here multiple times and recommend pretty much everything. First time coming to The Griddle, and it didn't disappoint. Great warm feeling coming in. The staff were super nice and attentive. The pancakes were fluffy and thick. Butter and syrup make my breakfast awesome. Cheese and scrambled eggs with crispy bacon were also ordered and tasted amazing. I ll be back for sure.

Second time at this place. The first time, the service was a little strange, but I ignored it. But today I was there with two friends and the service was terrible. A very nice girl introduced herself as our server, and another woman interrupted her and started serving us, being rude the entire time. She was really pressuring one of my friends to get her drink first, but she wasn't ready. My friend said "we're ready for food," and this woman replied that she needed to order drinks first because she had something to do (all with an attitude) and the food order would be taking later. I know she was probably having a stressful day, maybe training someone else, but there are no excuses for bad service. The first time, the service was bad, but from someone else, so I wonder if that's normal at this place. I won't be going back.

The Spokane site can take a lesson from their Boise counterpart. The whole experience was fantastic. From the person at thr register to the young lady that cleared the table was exceptional. The food was delicious and plentiful. The only compliment I had, and it not really a compliment, is that there were no fried chicken legs. 😪 But the fried chicken was great, flavorful and juicy.

Golden Corral use to be a great place to eat before Covid-19. I went there for the first time since Covid and was not impressed. The food was lukewarm and not very tasty. They advertised steak of which I wanted some but no one to wait on me. We went around 4:30-5:00 on a weeknight. The atmosphere has never been great. Our server was very good about keeping our beverages plentiful and did bring extra plates, even though we did not use them.

45 dollars for my wife and I to eat a sit down dinner. ZERO STEAKS except for the .5 Oz 1/2 fat piece of meat you see in the picture. I understand that it is a Monday night but come on, if you are going to charge full price, put full price on the buffet. This was a 8 dollar a piece meal. Employees dancing around like the were on holiday. Bull crap! Golden Corral, YOU OWE ME AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER! RIDICULOUS

There’s a wide variety of food options to choose from, which is great. Cleanliness and service can be hit or miss, though. On this visit, the server handling drinks and clearing plates was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Unfortunately, the women cooking steaks were distracted by their phones, and the wait time for a steak was noticeably longer than usual. My first piece was tough and full of gristle, barely chewable. Thankfully, the second piece was tender and delicious.

The worst Golden Corral I have ever been to. The only good thing about this place was the manager. When she was asked about allergen information for certain foods she personally went and looked to make sure it was safe to eat. However. The food was over or under cooked, over half of the options looked as if it had been out ALL day (and it probably was). None of the dressings had labels to say what they were. The staff handling food looked very unhappy to be there, did not seem to speak English or at least did not want to respond when asked questions and were quite unpleasant. The waitress that handled our section was very slow and was pretending to clean by just moving around a plate or two, just to avoid doing her work or to stall so she could chat with a coworker. Drinks rarely got filled, she kept asking us if we were done or if we needed more plates while glaring and sounding extremely upset at our presence there even though it was our FIRST plate. Could hardly get any service at our table and the silverware was dirty or missing a fork. -10/100

Food was excellent as always, but at this location, the worst professionalism I’ve seen in a long time. 3-4 staff members were arguing in front of customers and it resonated throughout the whole room. Food took a little longer than usual too. Go to other IHOPs for better professionalism

Okay so there are two events which have caused me to decide that I will literally never come here ever again. Event 1: I went here on a date with my girlfriend one day and the waitress just wouldn't stop bothering everyone. She went up to this family with a bunch of kids and just randomly brought up how she doesn't have any family. Like, if I was working there and I was asked what my family is like, I would definitely tell them that I lack such, but she literally just went up to them and trauma dumped uninstigated. Also, within the span of maybe two minutes, we were interrupted and asked if we're enjoying the food about 4 times, times with such a short interval that one cannot even delve into a conservation of any type. This is the event that made us decide to never sit and dine there again. Event 2: I was celebrating something that happened on my weekend so I, knowing that I wouldn't want to dine here, decided to order a dinner about 45 minutes in advance. I arrived just on time and the front lady told me that it wasn't ready and it would take about five minutes. I had no issue with that and so I sat and eventually lied on the abundant amount of seats. One guy did check in on me but I told him I'm just waiting and he had no issue. I ended up having to wait about 50 minutes for something that I ordered in advance with a set time, and when I was lying there, eyes open and visibly awake, another guy walked up to me and told me I couldn't be sleeping and that I had to sit up as if their inability to manage time is my problem. When they were finally finished, she literally just plopped my bag on the counter and just said "here you go" as if nothing had happened. Absolutely no apologies or reimbursement happened that night and I felt much regret for not just cooking something at home despite trying to celebrate something. At most restaurants or fast food joints, I have literally been offered larger proportions or extra items if the wait is excessively longer, and they often course hold manners and apologize for such, resulting in my brushing aside said wait time and thanking them. But no, I was literally told to stop being comfortable and was treated like I did something wrong for even daring to give this place another chance. I will never ever try this place again.

Blue Sky Bagels is a superb place to get a bagel! All the bagels I have eaten here have been delicious. Whether as a breakfast sandwich, with cream cheese, or even just by itself! The staff is so friendly, and when we had to work through some food allergies, they were very knowledgeable about how to accommodate. They were even aware of cross contamination, and used different utensils for prepping the allergy sandwiches! Great value for the money 💰 and delicious 😋! I only wish they had the egg everything bagels 🥯 because they are the best of the best 👌 👍 😍 ... and for the line to not be so huge ... Pearls of wisdom: - on a sandwich it comes with nothing and it's FREE to add EVERYTHING... so go ahead and order you salmon bagel with salmon cream cheese and avacado and tomato and onion and capers and cucumbers and and and ... same good for all the sandwiches! All the negative reviews are people that didn't bother to read how the menu works and got a nothing sandwich lol - add all the yummy shots and syrups to your mocha, they are FREE!

I can't remember when I first started coming here, it's been loads of years. There was a time that I came once a week and one of the employees learned my order, loved that! Now, it's a little less often which is sad. Today I stopped in for my usual order - turkey sandwich on a plain bagel, bacon scallion cream cheese, lettuce, red onion, and sprouts. I always ask if I can have an extra pickle and they are always willing to be my pickle friend and give me an extra. My cookie choice flops between the sugar cookie and the peanut butter with choc chips. I LOVE when it's pumpkin cream cheese season! I often suggest this as a place for lunch with friends, when family comes to town, and even solo trips. You guys are amazing and I will always, always, always enjoy your delicious foods!

Was curious about this bagel shop- though tasty, i don't think the bagel sandwich was worth the price point. The basic bagel with a smear was a better deal in comparison. The girls seemed unorganized for a simple bagel prep line, and after running my card, another girl asked for payment again. Yes for a variety of bagels, smears, and toppings, but still overpriced for the value of it.

Good bagels, lox spread is delicious, and I enjoyed the mocha. It's always super packed in the morning, so expect to wait. There is inconsistency in the schmear to bagel ratio, and it should always error on the side of too much. Overall, it's pretty good. If you're in the area and want a quick bite and coffee, you should check it out.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food establishment that specializes in chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and various sides. During a visit by a large group of middle school students, the staff demonstrated exceptional patience, friendliness, and helpfulness. In particular, Corinne provided special attention to students who were learning English and displayed kindness throughout. Although the name of the manager was not caught, they went above and beyond by personally assisting a student who was short on payment for their meal.
Maddy is a wonderful employee. Always willing to do whatever in order to ensure your visit is the best it can be!

The workers are nice, but they don’t know what they’re doing. I have been here a lot, and they often mess up basic things like frozen lemonade, and the chicken has even been undercooked a few times. I’m hesitant to complain because I’m not really about that, but I have definitely been sick from their nuggets before. So I figured the least I could do was write a bad review, which they do deserve unfortunately.
Owen — Google review
Quality of food is going down unfortunately. Comparable to mcdonald’s with two sad pickles on my chicken sandwich, one of which didn’t even make it on the sandwich.
Sadie M — Google review
Super tasty food. Everything about this restaurant is awesome besides the fact that they aren’t open on Sundays.

literally every stereotype of chick-fi-la employees going out of their way to make your day great is true. i forgot to unfreeze my card after i lost it and left my phone in the car. i was about to explain to the cashier what happened when she said “no worries! i got you!” and reached to her card and paid for me?? one of the nicest people i’ve ever met and i love her fr

We brought in a large group of middle schoolers to order lunch and the whole staff was extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. Corinne gave special attention and help to our students who are learning English and was so sweet. The manager (whose name I didn't catch) came out and (with what may have been his own personal credit card) helped a kid who was 1 cent short on his meal. The not-taking-cash thing made things really complicated for our kids but the staff was phenomenal and made up for the inconvenience. Thanks for being such nice humans!

Always impressed by food service cleanliness everything! Chick-fil-A is winning in my opinion on the fast food game!
Tabitha M — Google review
The food is good but the girl with the red hair is the rudest person I have ever came in contact with. I watched her throw everyone’s bags down and when my boyfriend went to get his food and asked for a straw she practically threw it at him. I won’t get food from there if she is working anymore.

Black Bear Diner Boise - State St is a laid-back eatery that offers familiar and comforting food throughout the day, including delectable desserts. The rustic ambiance adds to the overall dining experience. One delicious option is their well-prepared pot roast served with creamy mashed potatoes, crisp green beans, and a refreshing salad. The service is efficient and Sherry, our server, along with the rest of the staff, are friendly and professional.
Holy cow, the portions here are HUGE! I got 3 full meals out of one order of food. I brought my leftovers home and had 2 more meals. Our food was hot and amazing, and our service was over the top. My only complaint is $3.99 for a cup of black coffee. Come on now, that's Starbucks prices at a diner. We will be back, but i will bring my Yeti cup in with my coffee because that was a rip-off.

Food is delicious, service is great. You really cant ask for or expect much more. We love coming to this Black Bear Diner. It's becoming a tradition. Atmosphere is very relaxed and you dont feel rushed. The only suggestion I'd make is updating/upgrading the merchandise area. Just seems a little lacking and Black Bear Diner branding and merch could easy be a big seller if done right. My wife and I love BBD branding but when we go in, the merch available just isnt enticing enough. The Papa Bear sauce we bought IS DELICIOUS THOUGH. Goes great on everything.

Took a bit of time to get my food but when it came, it was excellent. Sometimes when you ask for a cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, most restaurants assume that you also mean taste free and condiment free. This thing had tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sauce, and a bunch of other stuff. It was really delicious.

Came here for an early Sunday dinner while in Boise. There was plenty of parking, probably due to the time we went. We were seated very shortly after entering, and our waitress was quick to get us our drinks. The place had a welcoming atmosphere, and everyone seemed friendly. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes/ gravy, and broccoli. My meal also came with a salad which was okay. My wife had the turkey club sandwich with French fries. Both meals were very good, and the portions were adequate. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend coming here for a good meal if you're ever in Boise.

Well this was a downer to try this black bear. We have tried them in different states and the food has always been good and plenty of it. I felt like my wife was being profiled here as she had a big issue with our waiter which I noticed. He spilled water on her and would not come to touch the table. The one on entertainment dr is always AWESOME so we will stick with that one.

Familiar with Black Bear but first time to this location. Had to give a super positive review. Best veggie omelette for me and best breakfast sandwich for my husband! Mary waited on us, and she was great. We had a few special requests, which were accommodated cheerfully. This location is not in our neighborhood but we will go out of the way to come back here!

Wow. Just left Black Bear diner with my kids and am so disappointed in the host's treatment of my kids. The moment we walked in, the host's tone and choice of words made me uncomfortable. She asked us how many was in the group and I mistakenly answer 5, but we actually had 4. Her response was "5?....5?". I made a simple mistake as my wife did not go with us, but I felt belittled and that she was upset. Again, it is always about tone and approach. Immediately, I thought that was a rough interaction. Then my kids go to the restroom to wash their hands and they were scolded "Are you kids playing around in there?" My oldest son is 12 years old and he told me that the host thought they were playing around because the younger sibling held the door open for his siblings as they walked out. Nothing more. I let it be and proceed with our dinner, which was fine. The waitress was very good and approachable. When it was time to pay, the same host interacted with my kids a 3rd time. My son was looking at the mugs and on his way back to the cashier counter, he step on the round bottom of the post holding up outfits that were for sale. The host scolded him saying that she just cleaned it. I had enough. I looked at her and told her to stop. My 12 year old tried to explained himself and I told him to stop as well. It is ridiculous that when I walk out of a restaurant, I am upset at the treatment of my family. I am sorry, but if the floor is dirty and needs to be cleaned because the restaurant is closing, I believe that the host needs to clean it. Don't scold the kids. Family restaurant will have kids and kids will be messier than adults. The restaurant shares that their Credo #1 is to be thankful that the customer chose to support Black Bear. They also promote the restaurant as a family restaurant. I have to say, my family was not welcomed this evening and we made the wrong choice. I will choose to never go to this establishment again.

Very it or miss, alot of elderly folks dine here. Had gone for a lunch about a month ago and it was good, fast and decent. Went for breakfast, we waited over 40 min after ordering, with 3 tables of same party size (2) sat, eat and left after us finally got our order, absolutely terrible. I bit into toast, it was not only stale, but jad half the slice not buttered and was hard as a rock, my plate had been sitting under a light for so long it was inedible. How do you mess up a basic breakfast plate? The bacon disseminated in my mouth then flooded it with bacon grease. I tried one potato and it was cold and burned with a metallic taste that old onion mix gets. Oh and 40 buck for 2 breakfasts 1 coffee and 1 soda. Won't be back. With today's prices the food should be better than I can make on a Monday going out the door.
