Wineries & Vineyards
Coiled Wines, founded by Leslie Preston, pays homage to the Snake River Valley AVA. Starting with 380 cases of Syrah in 2008, the winery now produces over 2,000 cases featuring various varietals. With a Garden City Production and Tasting Room and a Downtown Boise wine bar, Coiled Wines offers an extensive collection of Idaho wines. The cozy yet elegant tasting room provides friendly service and wine-pairing snacks while hosting live music events.
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Coiled Wines in their newly renovated event space (the old tasting room) in September - everything from the communication, the space, the event staff, to the wine it was absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a spot to host your next smallish event I can’t recommend them enough, it was definitely a 10/10 experience!

Omg, Jazz Friday!!! What a vibe. What a groove. Unbelievable music with great wine...a solid 5-stars. Yes, you ARE missing out!

Did a wine tasting with Cindy and she and the wines were amazing! Her knowledge of wine from production to tasting has as much depth as it does breadth. Phenomenal wine, phenomenal space, and phenomenal people. Highly recommend!
Nathan H — Google review
The seating areas actually quite nice with couches or tables my daughter liked the Riesling and I liked the Chablis. After we got a small taste at a different wine tasting spor down the street we decided to go for glasses here and had a nice time. We were going to go to a third wine spot but they had a private party. PS on Saturday they all close at 6 p.m.

Did a tasting tonight with Alex, she was so kind and caring. She was super knowledgeable about coileds wine and history. Thank you for my first coiled experience! Ended up with 3 bottles for Easter tomorrow! Thank you again! 🥰

Coiled, coiled, coiled....I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! Definitely one of the best wineries in the Valley. Let's just take a moment to talk about their "Black Mamba"...quite possibly the best red wine blend I HAVE EVER HAD....ya EVER....and I have sampled amazing reds in both France and Argentina!!! The Syrah is also wonderful! I love the new location downtown, it's a warm inviting space, perfect for sampling wine with your friends! So pop into either location for a tasting...you won't be sorry!!!

Hands down, I would recommend going here! We visited a couple wineries in Garden City today, but this was our favorite. It might have been helped by the fact we were the only ones there when we showed up (it was maybe 2pm). The service was great! The inside was very nice, and while I would like to spend some time inside at a future date, the weather was nice so we went outside. It was a great covered area outside. They put time into making it look nice. We were only going to have one glass here, buy enjoyed it so much we stayed and got a second. Definately recommend!

Great Business! Lovely staff and owners, spectacular wine selections! Would highly recommend. The company i work for Sunshine Window Cleaning, also immensely enjoys working with them due to their good nature, responsiveness and good business ethics. Highly recommend checking out any of there locations.

Restaurant
Capitol Cellars Restaurant is an upscale dining spot located in the historic Belgravia building, offering locally sourced American dishes and a remarkable selection of wines. The restaurant also features patio seating for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the Boise metro area of Garden City where Capitol Cellars is situated boasts two urban wineries, Telaya Wine Co and 3100 Cellars.
Tried tonight for the first time and they did not disappoint! Everything was well prepared and delicious. Try the halloumi fries, a way more decadent option than the stand by mozzarella sticks normally found on appetizer menus. The French onion soup was great, my fave type of soup that I always try when I see it on a restaurant menu. New York strip steak was juicy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Husband had the Post pork which was very good as well. The creme brulee was a great treat to wrap up the meal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Will definitely be back.
Janelle O — Google review
While we have had fantastic meals at Capitol Cellars, I wanted to bring to your attention first before posting a public review the quality of Christmas Dinner. We ordered dinner for 4 and picked up the meal at 3pm Christmas Eve. I was very excited to have this meal as the prime rib I’ve had before at Capitol Cellars was delicious. This was not the case this time, as the Prime Rib slices were full of gristle and the flavor was off. The potatoes were not cooked all the way, completely raw on the bottom and I had to add cheese to it for more flavor. The winter vegetables were flavorless and the yellow sauce on it was butter???? Not sure, flavorless. The salad had a lot of brown pieces in it and there was a hair in with the rolls. The soup was delicious, as was the cheesecake. For spending $236 + $50 dollar cash tip for the staff, this was disappointing and almost inedible. Just figured someone might want to know as I see your doing the same thing for a NYE package which we will not be ordering. Photos for your review. ***I sent this exact email to Management GM??? giving 7 days to respond and did not hear a word back. Nothing. Almost $300 and we basically had 1 cup of soup/person and 1 piece of cheesecake/person for out Christmas Dinner, the rest was inedible.
Liz F — Google review
The food is mediocre. $24 for a sea bass, some bland rice and 8 green beans. My waitress was ok. I order a soup and salad for me, I said I will have a soup and salad, and she took off and didn't take my wife's appetizer order. When she came back I had to say that was just for me, my wife needs to order. She left and brought out our salad and didn't ask what we had wanted to order for our main course. When she brought our soup that's when I said can we order our main course. The soup, French onion, was very watered down. I've had some very nice French onion soup and this was not very good at all. We won't be going back

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boise. The food is amazing and the place has a really mellow atmosphere. Last time we went we got the Silent majority shrimp, Pete’s lamb chops, re-elect ravioli, crème brûlée, and the sorbet. The whole meal was amazing but the shrimp was an absolute stand out. I don’t normally go out of my way to recommend a dish but the silent majority shrimp was amazing!
Ian J — Google review
Nice decor and vibe I love all the stone and feel of this restaurant. Very romantic. Food was excellent although the drinks were just ok, a good bartender who knows how to make an old fashioned would do them wonders.
Smokin' A — Google review
Simply amazing. Our waiter was the best, funny and helpful. Food, specifically the salmon, was incredible. And you gotta have the bread pudding. The malbec was so delicious. Highly recommend!
Mark — Google review
The best way to describe this place is: Nothing is wrong, just there is better (Richards, Alivita, etc). The food is good, upscale and reasonably priced. Their goat cheese appetizer is especially good. The drinks leave quite a lot to be desired, especially for the price. (Normally at places like this an old fashioned will have a single rock, not soda ice). The atmosphere is nice, they are defiantly trying for cozy, but is way to bright for that.
Robert G — Google review
After getting off a 7-hour flight from the northeast, the last thing I wanted to do was to venture out into the hot, summer sun for dinner. But I had no regrets once I was seated! The surrounding trees around this place made it comfortable to sit outside, and our wonderful waiter, Stephen, made sure we were served promptly and that our food was cooked to our liking. I highly recommend the filet mignon (a seasonal), which was buttery soft and barely required any effort to cut apart. The loaded baked potato isn't anything to scoff at either. I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable meal that will impress and deliver on quality and service speed.

Potter Wines is the BEST place to enjoy amazing Idaho Wine 🍷, listen to excellent live music, and be treated like you’re a part of the Cheers sitcom! Thank you, Crystal and Von, for providing the coziest gem to hang out, always welcoming everyone with such warmth, and making Excellent Wine! 🍷❤️

Potter Wines recently served their wine at an event for my nonprofit and everyone was SO impressed. The woman serving, Johnny, was professional, kind, and incredibly easy and sweet to work with. Crystal Potter made the entire process from start to finish so streamlined and was incredibly communicative about securing Potter Wines to be our wine vendor for the evening. I can’t recommend Potter Wines enough. Thank you so much for making our event so special by being there and showing up in such a meaningful way.

Potter Wines put on a great mystery event for my wife's 60th birthday. The guests were excited to take the roles of some interesting and funny characters. This was unlike any other murder mystery event I have ever attended. So much fun had by all. I would recommend it for any special occasion. Great selection of wines and even some local beers. We will see you again!
Doug J — Google review
Wonderful atmosphere with great wine. We hosted a 60th Disco Murder Mystery night and had a blast. Winery staff was so helpful and gracious with anything we needed. I would put them on the list of a fun wine stop as well as a place to host a small private party. Owners are the absolute best and so personal. Cheers!
Brian D — Google review
Unique wine experience! Not only are their white and red wines good, but they also have jalapeño wine and Chipotle wine! They also have some of their wine available in pouches that fit a little over two bottles of wine. Affordable wine. $10 tasting fee. Friendly service! Ask for recipes.

We had a great time at the Murder Mystery. The owners worked very hard to accommodate our requests and made for a fun evening. The charcuterie tray was killer...

If you're in Boise, don't miss the chance to visit the Rolling Hills Vineyard Urban Tasting Room! Nestled along 52nd Street in Garden City, this charming family-owned establishment is a delightful extension of their home estate in Eagle, Idaho. Owners Lori and Mark transformed a once-neglected vineyard into a thriving hub for wine lovers.

Went to rolling hills today and had an amazing experience. Also I believe a super hero works there a customer knocked over a plate and this girl Natalie that works there literally appeared out of then air and caught the plate with her hand and the cup of nuts balanced on her foot like a ninja she hackie sacked the items back on to the platter with the grace of an angel. I was in utter amazement. Just an excellent display of the quality staff here.

Apartment building
Eagle Pointe Apartments, a property managed by Eagle Pointe Partners, is located in a prime spot across the street from the University and close to Albertsons. The complex has undergone changes in ownership and management, with friendly and helpful staff at the office. Residents appreciate the spacious apartments, beautiful grounds, two pools, two laundry rooms, and individual storage units on each balcony.
For the price, this complex is great. My roommate and I made sudden moves to Boise and needed an affordable place to get our feet on the ground. They are slowly updating the property, improving conditions in every unit. Laundry onsite has recently become Bluetooth enabled which is so much better than quarters. We contacted management several times throughout our living here, and every time was pleasant, with prompt response to every concern. Chaz was always friendly when coming to help in our apartment. This complex has an amazing community of families and friends alike. Perfect for a small family, plenty of respectful kids who can often be seen playing in the shared outdoor spaces!
Charles G — Google review
You have to sign a waiver for lead and asbestos potential exposure, Prices go up as they cut out the trees, and bushes slowly making the property less appealing, the laundry on site is cheap. But you better be willing to loose about 10-20$ a month in quarters for machines that don't do a full cycle with outdated equipment. There are 8 washers for the entire complex and on a good week 5-6 actually work, but like I said not full cycles. Paint is falling off half the apartments, the drains you have to put draino down monthly for them to work. 2.4 rating is generous.single pane windows, haven't been updated in 40 years, ac units that are not rated to cool apartments this big, you need a 680 credit score to even live here and maintenance requires a business week to be completed, can't grill on your decks, or really have outside plants unless you're on the bottom floor. They won't fix anything that can Jerry rig.
Acoustic T — Google review
they need more visitor parking. ibwas dropping off some items for my son and i was parked near his apartment in a residential spot so i would not have to pack this all the way accross the property which is very large. I have sone health issues so i thought i would be ok for like 30 minutes. when i came out my car was getting towed! and the jerk that was taking it would not give it back unless i paid $122!! thats a bit steep dont you think is was the afternoon not the night and he didnt take it anywhere yet. $122. your place makes visiting my son who just barely turned 18 and is starting college soon a nightmare. please put some spots on the other side of the property too! please! for those of us not fit for long walks followed by 3 flights of stairs would be extremely greatful. its kind of cruel. all of your spots for guests are on the opposite side of all those apartments on the far side. i may not visit again on principle. and ask him to move. why cant you just add a few more for that side? it is the humane thing to do and you kmow there are plenty of spots. i have never seen the parking lot over filled
Katie V — Google review
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE I have lived here for 5 months now, I moved in during the winter months and I saw no issues with the unit I moved in to. However the staff did not disclose to me that during the summer months (June-August) there is a mass infestation of elder bugs, small beetle-like insects that find their way into your home from the surrounding trees to seek a colder environment through any crack or crevice in doors and windows. Every day for the past two months I have came home from work to hundreds of these bugs, dead and alive, covering my window sills, ceilings, clothes, bedsheets, and just about everything in my home. I have begged the staff for months to take measures to mitigate the amount of these bugs as this problem is not my fault or responsibility. The only thing they have done was throw a 2 inch sticky plastic sheet at my front door that did virtually nothing to keep the bugs out. The staff has continuously refused to take any action on this issue and has shown no concern to ensure that their residents have a clean and comfortable place to live. This is a complex wide issue and every resident here will agree.
Jeffey A — Google review
MOLD! MOLD! MOLD! DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS DUMP! Lived here for 2 years, hated every second. The management here cares only about your dollars and could give two ****'s about you or your living situation. Laundry rooms are a joke. Set foot in there one time and never did a single load there. Don't let the "washer and drier on site" fool you. 2 months after moving in I developed a strange cough I couldn't kick. Found peeling paint in the bathroom and discovered mold throughout the entire bathroom. The maintenance crew, came in and did a hack remediation job and gave it the ol landlord special (another 8 layers of paint). Kids run wild through the apartment. Screaming and yelling and exploring, Sometimes right outside your bedroom window in the morning! Noise complaints go unchecked, but chalk on the sidewalk get weekly emails. It's not about your experience, it's about how it looks. And talk about plumbing issues. This place has some serious health code concerns. The plumbing in my apartment was actually plumbed BACKWARDS! which caused my apartment flood. I was already about to move out so I asked the front office to work with me. No follow up every made. The maintenance guy is great, over worked and under-payed for sure. Move out time, my deposit was as good as gone the minute I moved in. Charging $200 for carpet cleaning for 2 small bedrooms is damn near criminal. I have a feeling this place is on it's way out. 2 brand new dorm/apartments built on the adjacent corners... It feels like a last second grab as much cash as possible before we sell this dump. I would only move in here as an absolute last resort. And if you get 1827 Apt. A. Bring earmuffs.
Cooper M — Google review
According to Debbie who manages this place if you are less than 19 and have parents who do not want to cosign and be on the hook for entire apartment rent when you have roommates, do not bother applying here. Our 18 year old daughter has 3-4 times annual rent in her checking account, but since she just turned 18 she doesn’t have one year listed on a lease so they require a cosigner. The cosigner is then on the hook for the entire rent if roommates fail to pay their portion. Our daughter started college at 16, is vice president of her sorority, been working since she was 14 and has more savings than sadly your average 30 year old, yet they do not trust her to rent a crummy apartment… their loss
Ty B — Google review
after living here for a few years i became disabled to the extent i was unable to leave my apartment. these amazing people went so far above and beyond i still can't believe it. they bring up my mail, call every week to make sure i'm okay and to ask if they can bring me anything. yes, the apartments are quite large, the grounds beautiful, two pools, two laundry rooms and each apt has a storage unit on the balcony. BUT, most importantly, the owners and staff have made it possible for me to live in comfort and safety. they'll take good care of you, too!
Lisa S — Google review
I lived in this apartment for the duration of the lease out of necessity. My room mate and I lived in a first floor apartment. We were paying $850 a month on rent, which was less than optimal for a building that was constructed so long ago. The unit I had did not hold heat or air efficiently since the unit installed for air conditioning left a hole in the coat closet. we had sewage back up form our kitchen sink on more than one occasion, which we were told happened on occasion when we called for building maintenance to come help fix. I should also note that when we tried to get a hole of the 24 hour building maintenance group on one occasion we were unable to get a hold of them the entire night that our sink was spewing sewage. As with any apartment we had a considerably difficult time dealing with our upstairs neighbor who liked to play music and let her dog bark at all hours of the night. management was largely unhelpful in this matter. out of the $300 deposit I received $12 back after spending multiple hours over 3 days cleaning as I moved out. I see now that the complex is charging $950.00 - $990.00. I would look elsewhere for this price and would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate. As a college student campus apartments are cheaper than this and if you are out of college you don't want to live here because it mostly is college students socializing at all hours. The only positive experience that comes to mind was that I had a parking place at all times and it was a convenient location at the time.

Bodovino is a popular haunt in Boise, beloved by locals for its extensive selection of local and international wines. With over 600 bottles and 144 glass options, it offers a diverse wine tour experience. The knowledgeable staff can guide you through various taste profiles and wine histories. Located downtown, the bar focuses solely on wine, featuring over 140 different wines on tap accessible through a Wine Emotion Machine.
Visiting Boise for a week, I did t expect to find this wine and sushi bar. I’ve seen similar concepts in other cities, but the variety and diversity in their wine taps is excellent. Once you get your work e tap car with money on it, just try the wines you like. Pay for sips or pay for pours with the card. Their happy hour selection was ok, but everything else was fantastic. Love the set up, ambiance and charm. Staff was really friendly and attentive. We ordered some sushi and a few other appetizers to snack on while we enjoyed a lot of wine. I’m definitely coming back for dinner to try more from the menu .

Great sushi location with lots of options and choices.. full bar menu and they will pair wines with what your order... We sat on the patio when we visited for lunch, wasn't super busy, so food was very timely and tasted excellent... Our waiter was Ty and he did a fantastic job pairing my rolls with a selected wine... literally gave him the options to chose the best wine for the roll... and he hit it out of the park, and his service was top notch! We ordered 4 rolls and 3 adult beverages and the price was just under $100 for our meal... Would recommend for a nice night out with some friends for a light dinner before events and such...

I normally save my reviews for the greats, but we were so disappointed after wanting to come here for years. Beautiful space and service was okay...slow, but they were busy and we had someone newish (who got little support). The wine was good, but pricey (understandable for the concept and location), the food was terrible. We ordered Ramen which came out nearly flavorless, no egg (they were out but didn't tell us or charge less), and the noodles were al dente spaghetti noodles. We took a couple bites and just left hungry. I thought it was a safe bet since they served sushi and the price tag was steep, but I was very mistaken.

Great Sushi, great wine, and fantastic service from Matthew! We couldn't be any happier with the quality of Sushi, wine, and atmosphere. Love how you can sample and pour many choices of wine.

Terrible service! A friend I went for the first time to have a glass of wine and a bite to eat. Took over 10 minutes for a server to get our drink order. She never came to check on us so finally I hunted her down for the check and we left. Very disappointed. I will not be going back!

This is a wine lovers Paradise. You can sample wines from all over the world or even buy the Bottle. I wanted to try something new to my palette. Our waitress ask me my preference lean towards. She gave me a few different suggestions. I was extremely happy with my new choice. This is a great place for a date. You are not rushed here. They do have cheeses and other items but we didn't try any. I totally recommend this place.

Best beer in Boise, hands down! 🍻 Payette Brewing nails it every season whether you’re lounging by the fire pit in winter or soaking up the sun in their outdoor chairs during summer. The dog-friendly atmosphere makes it a go-to for locals (my pup especially loves that the staff hands out treats!). It’s the perfect post-hike, bike ride, or river float stop, and the vibe is always welcoming. Bonus: you can grab cans to-go for your next adventure. Between the friendly staff, great beer, and laid-back energy, Payette is one of those places you can always count on. Highly recommend if you’re in Boise!

was having a good time w family when we ordered 7 drinks and they only gave us 6. When we came back to to ask for our final drink a lady in a trucker hat gave us attitude and refused our beverage. One last tip…be kind to your customers that are spending a good amount of money and give us our final drink that we paid for. Very disappointed and they should be embarrassed by their behavior.

Born and raised in Boise but neither me or my parents have been to this gem. First it's dog friendly so when my uncle showed up with his dog it was all good. The beer menu is outstanding but the best feature was the young person behind the bar. She was super helpful and patient, allowing my parents to test several offerings before settling on something they liked. Such a good atmosphere. I haven't been anywhere in Boise better. Highly recommended!

Located in downtown Idaho, Mouvance Winery is known for its exceptional pinot noirs made from premium fruit sourced from Oregon's Northern Willamette Valley. The winery offers a great value $5 tasting fee and has garnered praise for its aromatic, highly drinkable wines. Judy and Lonnie, the passionate owners, approach winemaking with scientific precision and connoisseurship, resulting in limited production of their highly sought-after Pinots.
We have been wine club members for several years and have enjoyed every vintage, though some years are truly exceptional. Judy and Lonnie approach wine making as scientists and connoisseurs to create aromatic, highly drinkable, gently flavored wines. Their hallmark Pinots are in high demand and short supply. They recently opened their winery to us for our wedding reception and our guests enthused about the white, rose and red wines.

Maddie's Wine and Whiskey is a charming spot in Meridian that caters to wine and whiskey enthusiasts. The establishment offers an array of creative cocktails such as the Mad-Hattan, Woo Girl, and Empress of Bainbridge. On Sundays, visitors can enjoy $5 bloody marys and $4 mimosas. The outdoor area provides ample seating, turf grass, and even cornhole for entertainment.
Maddie’s in Meridian, Idaho is a true gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts in the Treasure Valley area. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that feels both inviting and refined. Whether you’re coming for a special night out or a casual meal, Maddie’s strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. Each plate is a culinary delight, from perfectly seared steaks to deliciously inventive appetizers, making it clear that the chefs take immense pride in every creation. Their seasonal offerings ensure there’s always something new to discover, and their attention to detail in flavor pairing is exceptional. My favorite was the burrata board. One of the standout aspects of Maddie’s is the exceptional service. The staff are attentive. This level of care elevates the entire evening, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a relaxing dinner. Their live music was excellent as well. Can’t say enough great things!! I chose Maddie’s for my wedding reception and everything was perfect! The vibe was amazing, there was tons of space, the food (especially the Mac and cheese) was delicious, but what made it an even better experience was the staff! Shandi and Michael (event coordinators) were superstars! They went above and beyond to help me and my family get set up and make sure we were 100% happy with everything. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, it was all 100% smooth sailing. The venue itself is so beautiful and I highly recommend it for a special event. You won’t be disappointed!

We did a private event at Maddies in which they provided food. They served prime rib, mashed potatoes, vegetable medley and salad. I am telling you that I was absolutely AMAZED at how good the food was. It was the most tender and juicy prime rib I have EVER had. In addition to the amazing food, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. If you have a party coming up that you need to rent space for definitely look into doing your event at Maddies.

What an Absolute surprise! We've driven by a hundred times, but my friend Buddy Devore and his Band is playing right now, so we decided to give it a try. What a beautiful place, bigger and much more spacious than it looks. With excellent Service and Food! We'll certainly be coming back to Maddie's!👍
Kevin S — Google review
Pros - Easy location & convenient parking. Great, service; Kailey P. was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. The venue is huge & beautiful, both inside and out. There is a large main dining room and bar, with a beautifully stained concrete floor. A secondary baroom is large and also an additional catering room with buffet inside. There are front and rear outdoor seating areas with fountains and fire pits. We both had the cinnamon vinegrette on our salads, and it was quite interesting and not overpowering with just a hint of cinnamon at the end. Salads consisted of mixed field greens with red onions, tomatoes, olives, and cucumbers. I had the portobello burger with feta cheese, a large amount of sauteed onions, and caesar-dressed romaine on the sandwich. My suggestion would be to add a small drizzle of steak sauce on the mushroom. My companion got one of the flatbreads, which are quite large and worth the price. She opted for the gluten-free crust, which she said was quite delicious. We ended our lunch with the gluten-free flourless chocolate torte. It came with a raspberry sauce and fresh strawberries. I highly suggest taking a bite of the fruit with a bite of the torte for maximum enjoyment. . Cons - Iced tea and water were served in plastic cups. I'm not sure why, but it did not match the ambiance of the room, nor the quality of the cutlery and plateware. No straw for the iced tea made for difficult sipping and a cold nose. . This restaurant is also known to have great events that should not be missed, as we also plan on coming back for dinner and drinks. Just remember to ask for a straw! 😆

We came here on a Sunday mid afternoon and sat at the bar. Sunday they offer an all day Happy Hour. I read on their website that they have live music Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, that was our not our experience on a Sunday around 2pm. It was beautiful inside, spacious and had a nice wine wall. There was a large party of maybe 30 women celebrating a birthday. I love to see Espresso Martinis on the menu, I had a couple. My friend had a a couple Old Fashions and we shared the Parmesan Truffle fries and then had a Honey Hot Flatbread. Another friend had been wanting to try this place, so she met us down there. As a result, we were there longer than we initially anticipated. We each had a couple glasses of wine once she arrived. Everything was amazing from drinks, food and service. Our bartender was friendly, personable and attentive.
J B — Google review
Beautiful place, great music, wonderful patio area! Definitely one of those places that leaves you a little sick to your stomach with the high prices when you leave. Drinks are SO expensive, cigars are dry and cut poorly, and they want 25, 22, and 20% tip. It's just too greedy, as much as I enjoyed the relaxing time, I can't justify that much for a simple night out in Meridian. We went for a couple cocktails after dinner and left spending over $100.
J — Google review
This was our first time and we will definitely be back. We got the Truffle fries, Caprese salad, Meatballs (as someone who orders her Thai food as a 1 out of 10 on the spicy level. These did have some heat in the sauce, but it doesn't linger to long. I liked it.) and the Caesar salad (with extra dressing on the side). I got the Express yourself Martin and it is the best one I've ever had finally some place that makes them creamy. My husband ordered the call me old fashioned and we both agreed it was cinnamon heavy, but the orange complimented it nicely. Old fashioneds are not my preferred way to drink whiskey, however this one was the best I've had. I also got a 9oz glass of the house Chardonnay, also a simple, well balanced wine.

Fantastic selection, friendly owner, and intimate setting. Absolutely perfect for our private event. Scott even was able to provide a selection that was tailored to some of our most specific requests. Highly recommend!

We are members of the monthly wine club here. Highly recommend! Scott is so knowledgeable and it’s always a treat to go in and learn more about the wine, their regions, grapes, etc. We have also gone in many times and just said we’re looking for a bottle to go with a particular dinner and within a particular price range and Scott had always had an awesome recommendation. Can’t recommend this place enough and love supporting a small, local business!

Best wine shop in Boise. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and gives solid recommendations. The events are always fun and their Wine Club is a great value. It also has an authentic neighborhood feel and is a great place to have a glass of wine after work, or pick up a bottle for the weekend. Ok, maybe a few bottles for the weekend...

My husband and I have been going to Hyde Park Fine Wines for a little over a year now and could not have asked for a better wine shop to call home in Idaho. The expertise of the staff in combination with their selection and helpfulness makes it a perfect place to find just the right wine, try something challenging, or stay a while with a delicious glass to sip through. If you're looking for something that you think may be too difficult to find in this state, don't give up hope before you talk with Scott and Travis. It's amazing what they can get their hands on. Love love love this place and cannot recommend it enough

JoVinos is a delightful fusion of two beloved beverages: wine and coffee, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for any time of day. Whether you're in need of a quick grab-and-go option during your morning commute or looking to unwind with friends over expertly crafted small plates, JoVinos has you covered. The ambiance is spacious and modern, featuring tasteful decor, live plants, and even a cozy fireplace that enhances the overall vibe.
Wanted to add another good review :-) The most important thing for me in a coffee house is the vibe/atmosphere... This place excels in that respect. The music was nice (and perfect volume), there are so many live plants to look at, nice and tasteful décor, a working fireplace, comfy sofas.... everything I could ask for. Nice!
Michal N — Google review
The interior designer did an amazing job here; it feels super upscale. The addition of plants makes it feel more lively. I only had a parfait so can't really say how good the food is, but that was a cute little snack. Four stars only because the internet tends to come and go ☕️🌟
Irina C — Google review
JoVino's has great potential but I'm afraid it fell flat for me and several of my friends. The patio is beautifully designed but was very dirty. The cushions on the furniture were filthy with not only stains but pieces of dried food. There was potting soil spilled all around one of the plants. Apparently no one had time to sweep it up. The rugs were in terrible shape as well. Note - this place is "serve yourself". We had a party of 7 on the patio. There were 2 staff working and 3 customers inside. I had to go in to get water and glasses for our table. Then make several trips in and out to order wine, food, get plates, napkins, etc. The difficult part for me was that I had to tip the waitstaff just to take my order. They didn't deliver anything, clear anything from our table or even offer to help in any way. I could understand if they were busy, but as I mentioned, there were only 3 customers inside and maybe 4 people sitting outside besides my party. The food was pretty good but I probably won't go out of my way to visit again.
Jennifer P — Google review
The atmosphere both inside and outside is cozy, comfortable and unexpected for a café/wine bar. I had a delicious chicken pesto sandwich. I expect to become a regular customer.
Suzzette Z — Google review
Very nice place, we ordered at the counter and the food was brought to the table. It was pretty quiet while we were there. There were a couple of groups out on the patio. The service was excellent and the food was very good. JoVinos is a great place for conversation!
Scott W — Google review
I enjoyed the dirty chai at JoVinos - the chai was flavorful and not just the sugary Oregon Blend that many Idaho cafes use. I also ordered a hot Italian sandwich. While the sandwich tasted good, it was dripping with oil after being heated. I think it would have been better to toast the bread and then add the meat. The environment is spacious, relaxing and modern. I found it very conducive to work and am looking forward to going back.
Brett W — Google review
I am always getting coffee towards downtown Boise or in Boise. I thought I'd step out of my comfort zone and try other joints in Eagle since Eagle is right next to me. Today's Eagle pick is JoVinos. It's conveniently 5 minutes away from my house. I have driven by this place hundreds of times and never put two and two together that this is a coffee joint. I have been to Caffeina heading towards downtown on State and their downtown location a handful of times. It's nice to know there's another one heading in the other direction for me to hit up. Pulling up, this venue is stunning. I love the tables outside but you also see the beautiful outdoor seating available, how cozy and romantic. I walked in and can already tell by the esthetic of this joint that it's a branch off of Caffeina. The plants, chill vibe and unique set up. This coffee joint is so sexy and chill. The colors of the decor, the green lush leaves, the way the tables and chairs are set up. You can hang out and not realize how much time has passed by. Out of all the coffee joints in town, I would have never thought I would use sexy and coffee together but at this location, it fits. I ordered my regular drink today. Med iced americano with some sugar free white chocolate. The barista that helped me was sweet and got my drink started. She was kind and asked if I wanted to pour my own cream, it was nice to have that option. I'm not picky so I let her make my drink how she saw fit. My drink we delicious! Rich in espresso, the perfect amount of cream and slightly sweet. I sipped and enjoyed my americano while enjoying the cool atmosphere. I sat towards the back where there were huge comfy pillows. I would have loved to enjoy the outside seating but the air conditioning was feeling too good on this hot summer day. I know this joint acts as a wine bar as well. A nice option to come in for wine or coffee for the non drinkers. Plenty of seating for few friends to come in for some beverages and gossip. This joint is nothing like anything else in town. Romantic, sexy and chill. I can't wait to come back by myself or with a few of my friends. I can see this place being a hot spot for a night cap. The waterfall, patio lighting and your favorite person. That would be a great way to end any date or get together. I look forward to having a night like this here.

My gal friend and I came here on a Saturday evening and although I was happy to have a chill place to enjoy wine and food with my bestie, I feel that this place is not well known, a hidden gem if you will. But it deserves to be known. We really enjoyed ourselves here. Perfect place for a girls date. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and wine, lovely atmosphere. Beautiful new spot in Garden City showcasing interesting wines served up by knowledgeable staff. I love the down-to-earth approach of learning about new-to-me wines from a list that may seem intimidating at first glance. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, and the small plates are delicious and just the right size to accompany your choice of wine (or beer)!

I love wine and we LOVED this spot. My partner and I went in on a whim expecting a very ordinary experience, what we found was above and beyond wine, respectful, kind, attentive service, and the world's best cookie. They have to have some Keebler Elves or something in the back, because oh my, life changing. We had so much fun, I totally forgot to take out my phone and take pictures;) It was a chill, and casual experience that made us feel welcomed in our casual clothes, but so incredibly elevated by the wine and food. We will be back!

We ordered the Spicy Red wine flight. We then noticed our server was pouring something other than what was on the menu. We let her serve us and she just came back and said "here's your wines" and started to leave. Make sure you watch them pour your wines as they'll switch pours and not tell you. We called her out and she admitted that they didn't have the wine listed on the menu so she just subbed it out without telling us. It's an absolute slap in the face to the consumer that they won't know the wine and can change pours without your knowledge. I hate slamming a local business but there was zero info given about the wines (we had to even ask which was which) and then they lie about what is being poured for you. I have no issue with them running out of wine and asking if they can sub something else, but trying to just pour different wine and pass it off as what you ordered is insulting and infuriating.

Liana, who owns Parcero, operates a world class wine bar. Not only is the the enviable decor pleasing (reminds me of a Palm Springs social the Rat Pack would hang out in), the wine selection is amazing with exciting flights and excellent food that would satisfy the most sophisticated palates. The staff at Parcero are exceptionally knowledgeable about a wide variety of wines and are all very polite and professional. My wife and I love this place!

We also loved the small food plates—they were perfect for sharing and complemented the wines beautifully.

The winery prides itself on growing its own grapes, including unique varieties such as blauer zweigelt and touriga nacional alongside Idaho's more familiar grapes. Owner Scott DeSeelhorst highlights Idaho's expertise in acidity. Visitors from California were impressed by the Barbera and Riesling wines and left with three bottles.
My wife and I, two Californians, dropped by the winery on our recent trip through Boise. We enjoyed several of the wines, especially their Barbera and their Riesling. We went away with three bottles. The friendly chap behind the counter also guided us to an excellent nearby Irish pub where we had lunch. Visiting wineries as a hobby, I was pleasantly surprised by Snake River Winery.

Terrible customer service. We had a couple of us buy some wine, and it tasted like vinegar. Snake river Winery understands that there was problem with the particular batch of that wine. When emailing the business, Our friends who live out of town got a "sorry" but no corrective action was or will be taken. $60 down the tube for them. Fortunately for us, we live in town and have access to the establishment. After a phone call Snake river Winery said they will not do anything without us having a discussion owner. We took an hour out of our day and drove down there on a day the owner was supposed to be working and the owner was not there. They did not take number from us and still keep dodging corrective action.

Get to the tasting room in downtown Boise to find its closed due to opening a new location, called and got a vague outgoing message that said nothing about how to purchase wines. Not very good business planning.
Abrucas — Google review
All that we've made several attempts to enjoy this establishment swine, we are usually highly disappointed with the product and I would definitely not recommend it to others.
