Restaurant
Fork is a cozy restaurant founded in 2011 by Cameron and Amanda Lumsden, offering modern American cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Housed in a historic landmark, the restaurant features a warm ambiance with brick and wood decor made from reclaimed materials. The menu boasts creative farm-to-table dishes such as griddled mac n' cheese, buttermilk-fried chicken, and local bread pudding.
Great place for a date or just to meetup with friends. Food is high quality and mostly a different spin on the traditional and with locally sourced ingredients. Tonight, I had the burger, which I highly recommend. Wife got the rainbow trout which she was quite pleased with though the portions were too huge to finish. Desert we had the butter cake which was delicious but also huge. Nice atmosphere. Beautiful old Boise look situated right on the main walk street with all the other restaurants. It was a quick 2 minute Lime scooter ride from our hotel. Be sure to reserve a table via Open Table as it gets busy.

I tried the braised beef with a house salad. It was very good, not great. Quality salads, mixed greens. We also had trout, again very good. Also, salad with smoked salmon, very good and the roasted chicken was better than I expected. The outside seating was perfect. Service was good, waiter not much personality.

Stopped in for lunch at The Fork and had a fantastic experience. We started with the grilled cheese and tomato bisque appetizer—super comforting, perfectly crispy, and great for sharing. For my main, I went with the smash burger, and it absolutely delivered—juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. It was a little on the salty side, but honestly so good that I think it should be a permanent menu item. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about The Fork: set right in the heart of downtown Boise with gorgeous flowers surrounding the patio. We grabbed an outdoor table, which was perfect for a sunny afternoon, but the interior is just as impressive—housed in an old bank, with a cool lounge downstairs where you can actually sit in the vault. Our server, Ramon, was AWESOME. Super polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and keeping our water glasses full (which was much appreciated on a hot day). Overall, The Fork is a top-notch lunch spot—delicious food, excellent service, and a setting that always feels a little bit special.

Our last lunch in Boise Idaho before we departed to the airport was at the FORK in downtown right off Idaho St. the restaurant is right on the corner and to enter is through the outdoor seating area. Just go right on in and the inside is the twice the size of the outside. Good little spot. We were in and out of this spot in 45 mins and just in time to catch our flight. The food was good and the service was as well. Very nice people and good food. Don’t forget to try some asparagus fries while you are here.
Patrick K — Google review
4-stars all around. We decided to walk around downtown Boise. Frankly, I was impressed. They did a good job laying out the restaurants and shops around the university area. The Fork was American cuisine done with the farm-to-fork (table) principle. We ordered the wagyu beef sliders 🍔 the fig salad 🥗 braised beef 🥩 and their famed butter cake 🍰 plus cocktails 🍸 of course. All good! Wished we also tried the asparagus fries 🍟 😉 The service was attentive and just right. This is definitely recommended if ever you’re in the Boise area. There are other interesting restaurants there to try to.

The wife and I really enjoyed our lunch visit here. Everything was solid, and the place itself is a really great space to enjoy a drink or dining experience. Wife got a lemonade cocktail and I noticed they had a great selection of local craft beers, and I chose the Sawtooth Idahome IPA. I am a cheesy guy by nature, so decided to have the fondue style grilled cheese with tomato soup. Wife chose the chop salad, and we shared the fries (the rosemary parmesan ones). Both were good, especially mine since I thought it was a good twist on presentation. I was told that I won the food battle for the meal. The atmosphere was energetic but classy, and I could see this place might be a lot of fun at night. Again, everything was pretty solid. I always explain my 4's (and try not to post any 3's or below, because I got on this platform only to broadcast positivity towards establishments), and I think we caught the salad greens on an off day, and we just didn't get the warm and fuzzy from the bartender on duty. It was efficient service, but was missing that welcoming, nice-to-meet-you service. But, this place is still a must stop for your Boise adventure, we definitely WILL come back the next time we are in town, and it is right in the heart of all of the fun on 8th. I highly recommend this place, and see you there (well, the next time we are in Boise)...

The best eggs Benny I have ever had! They were braised short rib Benny. The spicy Marg was spicy and delish! The burger was good, a bit over cooked for asking for medium. The atmosphere was nice, we set up a reservation for Saturday at 11:00 and did not need it. Overall the food was awesome. The server...why not great. Just slow and took his time. It ended up being a long brunch just because of him. We will be back!

Wow! Amazing food, cocktails, and the location and ambiance is perfect downtown close to lots of cute shops and great walking areas. Our server was helpful with recommendations, all staff friendly and they have a cute outdoor patio in good weather.

Located at 211 N. Eighth St., Juniper offers a cozy brick-walled ambiance and serves seasonal dishes such as pork belly fries and Idaho trout. What sets it apart is its craft cocktails made with house-made mixers. For an exclusive dining experience, guests can reserve the chef's table for a personalized five-course menu prepared by the chef. The restaurant also emphasizes using fresh, local ingredients including Idaho trout, local wines, bison, beef, and juniper berries.
The gin and tonic was fantastic. They make their own tonic which has the perfect flavor. It's a great place to come, hangout and have drinks. The food was very tasty. The pork belly fries and Korean spare ribs had really good flavor. The only disappointing thing was the fried chicken. It was too much dense breading and just not good. The butterscotch dessert was really good. It had the perfect amount of black salt.

If my kid was with us he’d say this place is “ “bussin”, but he laugh at me for using it. But the food is amazing. We got the Bison burger, margarita, pizza and the Focaccia Grinder. Everything has a unique taste, they don’t play it safe here and it works. We all loved the food. The bison burger was incredible.

First time here and we are so glad we tried. We had the honey lemon chicken pizza and it was PHENOMENAL! Just the right mix of sweet and bitter and then a citrus taste with the lemons. Drinks were also very tasty and service was extremely friendly.
Kevin H — Google review
I had a great time in Juniper! All in all, the service was great, the cocktails were amazing, and the dishes were tasty and well cooked. The staff was willing to answer questions and provide recommendations. Additionally, I felt as though the menu was well curated based on what vegetables and produce was in season/locally available.

They got us in without a reservation since we were planning only to have a cocktail and dessert ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! We didn't feel rushed and we were done and out before the table reservation. Cocktails were great, dessert was interesting...
Amy S — Google review
OMG, the pizza is absolutely fabulous. Specifically, the duck confit pizza, cooked in a stone oven covered in melt in your mouth duck, cheese, and a touch of arugula for a touch of freshness. Drinks and service are average. It was very busy, and sitting directly at the bar, we had to wait too long for a second drink.
T — Google review
2 Stars: Anticipointment.  That's what we felt last night.  Juniper was a restaurant I've been wanting to try out for sometime.  We finally had the opportunity to go and thought it would be a great place to eat before a show. We knew that a Saturday night might be busy so we made reservations more than 2 weeks ago. The party of 8 was excited to have an adult evening for dinner and a show.  We walked in before our reservation time and was seated to eat.  Everything looked great in the cover.  Other than a both table that was too small for a party of 8.  It was literally shoulders and legs touching shoulders and legs tight.  In fact one person had to sit slightly at an angle.  Even though we were really cozy in there, it was great to be out. The restaurant has a neat vibe and is in a good location. The server comes over to get some drinks and explain that he is just filling in until our normal server arrives. We didn't think anything of this and ordered some drinks. There was an issue with one of the drinks, which I will get to shortly. It is now 30 min into our evening and they now take our order.  We quickly ordered and we were all looking forward to what we had chosen.  About 10 min later out server came back to us and said that there was going to be a 45-60 min wait for the food.  This is not going to work, as we would be late to the show.  She said they were just backed up and asked if we just wanted appetizers instead.  Grown adults don't want to just share some Rosemary fries. At this point one of the people in our party realized their drink glass was broken on the inside.  The server did replace the drink a few minutes later. Then we find out that the 5 or so minutes that went by while the server was there waiting that she never even put our order in queue.  So, now if we did l decided to wait for our food we were behind even more people.  She should have put the order in, then told us so we didn't lose our place in line.  We told her that we will just leave and find something else. The server then asked if the check was together or separate.  Really, there is a check?  We asked to speak to the manager and recounted everything that transpired. She appologized and helped us out with the drinks and gave us motivation to return. I can't speak to the quality of the food or bathrooms.  The drinks were good except the glass in one of them.  The service was severely lacking and the restaurant can't handle to be full. I'm the future, when we are able to try it again, we will make sure we have a 4 hour window.  Or maybe Juniper will be there destination with nothing afterwards. I am looking forward to updating this review in the future. Update: 3 Stars: Last Friday night we tried Juniper again in hopes for a better evening. We didn't plan anything after dinner this time so we could make certain to get food. This experience was much different than the first. We arrived with reservations at 6:30 early. We were seated promptly downstairs vs upstairs last time. It was was not as loud and we could carry a conversation across the table. We only had 4 of us on this trip, so that could have helped. The Food: We ordered the Rosemary Fries to share. They were seasoned well, and perfectly crispy. I ordered the lamb burger with bacon, my wife ordered the salmon. The salmon, she said, was very good. I requested my lamb be medium, but it turned out to be well done. The burger had good flavors that complemented each other well. If the burger was not dry, it would have been perfect. The salad was not bad, but way over drenched and saturated. I raised the star count by one because this experience was night and day different over the first visit. But because my burger was over cooked and dry I couldn't give them a 4th.

We came here for a meal on a date. The Baked Brie was like a nectar of gods, true ambrosia. The drinks were fun too. The staff, though short-handed, took very good care of us. I can not thank every one there enough.

Solid Grill & Bar is a spacious late-night spot with a wraparound patio, offering a wide array of comfort foods and drinks. It's known for its exclusive dinner menus featuring fall flavors like pumpkin, butternut squash, pecans, and maple in two-course dinners for just $15 per person.
Sweet location in downtown area. Service was quick and very accommodating for our needs. Food served hot and size is shareable. Cocktail list has something for everyone. Again, great first visit for our first time.

Solid place to eat (I'm sure that joke is overused). I ordered the nachos and what set these apart is how they layered the cheese and chicken. Too many places just have a mound of chips and then throw everything on top. These guys did better then that. The chips were slightly too crispy but that is me just trying to provide some kind of feedback. The reality is the meal was phenomenal. My wife had the gyro and thoroughly enjoyed her meal too. Service was friendly and aware of us. Would recommend, will come again.

The atmosphere has great and comfortable decor, the food got here quickly and was great, I ordered some mimosas and they were so tasty. Nice way to start my morning, Cindy was my waitress, she is very sweet and helpful I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cute morning breakfast or brunch with family or friends ! :)

Awesome place to grab a drink for happy hour and enjoy some live music after work or on the weekend. Natural light and GREAT atmosphere. We had the pleasure to sit at the bar and had great conversations with Matt! We was an amazing bartender. Highly recommend checking out Solid Bar & Grill!
Monet M — Google review
I came into town around 1045 pm and this was one of the only places still open. After a long day of travel, it was great to finally have a meal. They did NOT have gluten free bread or buns, so I just got the pulled pork on some lettuce. It was tasty though. The sweet potato fries were good, just wish they were crisper. I got a cocktail that was vanilla rum, pineapple juice and lemon. And let me tell you, it was delicious! Travel companion had cheesy shrimp and grits and he said it was incredible. Atmosphere is great, they also have a cute patio area but it was too chilly for us.
Alasa H — Google review
Overall, we like to come here every once in a while and enjoy our time and meal. I can say service is very hit and miss depending on who you get. We love the apps here and that you can sit outside or inside and sometimes get to enjoy live music.

The Lift is a relaxed American eatery located in north Boise, offering a convivial atmosphere and a spacious, dog-friendly patio. Known for its famous pineapple-studded fish tacos and Buttermilk Chicken Sliders, this neighborhood bar also boasts an impressive selection of brews and cocktails. The establishment's vine-shrouded patio provides a welcoming environment for patrons to enjoy delicious food and drinks, while dog lovers can appreciate the dedicated dog menu.
Really nice and casual experience. Food was tasty and average price. Service was friendly and quick enough considering there were only two servers covering the inside and the patio. The atmosphere makes up for any delay in service as it is super warm and casual. Great music playing and the patio is really comfy. Only a couple of residential blocks off the greenbelt; so we rode our bikes down for dinner from the Riverside RV Park. Beautiful ride along the river. They have a bicycle rack out front.

This restaurant deserves more than 5 ☆'s I had an amazing breakfast and bloody mary and was so excited to learn they are so welcoming of your fur babies. Bella was blessed to meet the staff and to get a pup cup. Then they showed me they have their own menu. So I went all out and got her her very own hamburger patty. This place is on my list of favorite stops. (OH they even brought her a bowl of water, SERVICE HER IS AMAZING)
Jennifer R — Google review
UPDATE: I've been to the Lift a few times since my initial review and every time can't have what I've wanted on menu cause they don't the ingredients or the cook of the week doesn't know how to make hollandaise. At this point I feel like my first visit with great food was actually just a fluke.(see review below) This evening I decided to have a burger because you can't mess that up too bad, right? The burger patty itself was literally flavorless... I didn't even know that was possible but the meat had NO flavor. It was obviously a hand made patty because it was falling apart and 1/4 of the bun had no patty in it. I'm changing from 5 stars to 3 stars only because the first visit was so good. I have no idea if I'll go there again... I definitely won't recommend it. My first time at The Lift. Went on a Saturday and had Brunch. I had the eggs Benedict with the spinach artichoke dip on it, I never would have considered mixing those two things but it was absolutely yummy! The service was outstanding and everything was clean. Had a bloody mary... their bloody Mary mix could use a little bit more flavor but for the price it was still worth it. They have a great little dog-friendly patio that I saw and can't wait to come back with my furbaby.

It was my first time in Boise and my wife and I decided to come here, I was not disappointed. They did make a mistake on my burger but quickly fixed it and gave me some complementary onion rings. I ordered a western burger and it was great! I loved the BBQ sauce they put on it and the onions rings were cooked perfectly. We brought our dog and ordered her some grilled chicken, she loved it. Overall the server was very nice and helpful and I would definitely come back to this place if I'm ever in Boise again.

It was our first time and we were really impressed. Even the house salad was incredible.

Good food and service. We had the Spicy Guacamole Burger (husband said it was mildly spicy), Croque Monsieur (so cheesy and salty in a great way) with garlic parmesan fries (omg each one was seasoned perfectly!), and the Mac N' Cheese (very cheesy and very good). The atmosphere was okay except it was really hard to hear anyone at our table, but very easy to hear other tables for some reason. Also it was really cold with the AC blowing on us constantly. It looked like there were AC vents pointing at each table, so I don't think moving would've changed that. The server was very nice and the food came out quickly. Overall it was a good experience. I will most likely be going back again and I would definitely recommend it.

Come here a lot, usually just to hang out and have an appetizer and a few drinks, but never disappointed at the quality of either! Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and seems to attract pretty cool customers, too.

SLOW DOWN STATE STREET DRIVERS! youre missing this freakin gem hiding right in front of your faces & in plain sight! Stop on by & see what they have to offer. Im coming for that weekend brunch!! AND THEY OFFER A DOGGY MENU! 😭😭 thats so freakin awesome. Thank-You! That spicy guac burger w/fries was delicious. It eats like a homemade burger but with a little extra to it 🤤 VERY hard to find in this time & day. The fries were also as big as my Shrek fingers haha and tasty. The portion size definitely caters to what our society has gotten accustomed to as well. Thanks Eva for being there & serving us. You're very appreciated. Tastes like the surrounding area has some competition! Haha

The menu features an array of expertly prepared options such as hot wings, drumsticks, and combinations of both, all infused with tantalizing Asian flavors. Customers rave about the mouthwatering Oven Padak Chicken served in the traditional Korean style alongside pickled radish and coleslaw.
Confession time. I've never eaten here before, BUT! my wife Ollie used to work here and she says the food and atmosphere are INCREDIBLE. our tax return comes in here soon, and I am SO STOKED to come try out this local family owned establishment. Amazing food but better than that is the staff. Exceptionally friendly. Crispy chicken wings are a must. Big bang for your buck.

My dad and I finally made it in to try Von's Chicken and we will absolutely be back. The staff were wonderful; the owner was very kind and patiently walked us through the menu, explaining what each item was. I ordered the ½ Oven Padak Chicken (pictured) and it was fantastic. Von's serves chicken in a traditional Korean way, with a side of pickled radish and coleslaw, both of which were also delicious. The half-order was more than enough for lunch, and a box of leftovers. I will be back to try more of the menu soon.

I'm very impressed with this fried chicken! Absolutely delicious, fresh, and crunchy. It was my first time trying Korean fried chicken. Very nice family running the place, they were really sweet and helpful. Also ordered cheese fries, which were a little weird for me, but my son loved them. I will be back!
Trinity C — Google review
Was a mixed bag of chicken because we tried well a few kinds. And it's a solid fried chicken place, though one flavor some kind of garlic paramsan sugar one was strange but nice but weird but i want more. I say worth a shot, because not my favorate korean fried chicken place but it had some interesting options i liked.
John J — Google review
I’ve been here before when they first opened. Mid chicken, very dry. Even though they’ve been open for a while it was still dry and tasted so-so. The kimbap was definitely the trader joe’s frozen kimbap… not good. It was warm and squishy with a weird flavor. We also had kimchi jigae soup, which was ok but could have been better. I also ordered a sweet tea that tasted a bit like dish water.
Juno V — Google review
It’s very refreshing to see traditional Asian cuisine that hasn’t Americanized its food. The chicken Vons offers has an remarkable, unparalleled crunchiness. The chicken also tastes lighter compared with popular fast food chains. In fact, I somehow managed to consume a full plate of wings without the typical feeling of being weighed down from too much fried food — often accompanied with a second feeling of either regret or a form of self-loathing. Compared with Vons Chicken’s quality, the big brands need to learn a thing or two from the owner-chef.

Korean restaurant
Chicken restaurant
Han's Chimaek is a laid-back Korean restaurant in Boise that specializes in serving delectable spicy and sweet fried chicken, along with tofu options and beer. The name "Chimaek" comes from the Korean words for chicken and beer, reflecting the establishment's focus on these offerings. Unlike American versions of fried chicken, Korean fried chicken achieves its crispy texture by rendering fat out of the skin rather than frying a thick layer of batter on top.
My bf told me about this place and at first, I wasn't wanting fried chicken and beer, but I'm glad he brought me here. There aren't a lot of Korean restaurants here in Boise and I wish there were more because, duh, Korean food is delicious! I ordered the Yangnyum Lunchbox and my bf got the Soy Lunchbox, which comes with white rice and a coleslaw. We also got the big Terra beer and split it as well and it went well with the chicken. I liked my flavor better than the soy sauce and I will recommend the yangnyum all day! There are 7 tables in this place, and I enjoyed the atmosphere, along with K-Pop music playing in the background too! The lady that took our order was so nice and from start to finish, the experience was great! I will Def recommend this place for awesome chicken!

DELICIOUS is a understatement! You definitely need to try the Korean boneless chicken! I ordered that with the sweet and spicy sauce with a side of rice. The chicken was very moist and fresh and the sauce had a nice kick to it! My wife got the wings and she said the were good but had a slightly different taste. Our new favorite chicken spot for sure! 👌seating is small but very clean and still plenty of room. And it is a little expensive, about $20 a person, but it's worth it!
Jenni O — Google review
Oh my god this was so good. I got the lunch box with yangnyum sauce. 10/10. No notes. The breading was superbly crispy, the sauce was the perfect level of warm spicy, the pickled radish cut through the spiciness like a dream. Will definitely be coming back!
Noelle — Google review
This place was cozy. There was nice music playing in the background and the guy at the front helped us with everything. The food was incredible. The wings were really crispy while also being juicy on the inside. Flavors were on point. Also, having a friend to chat and have a beer made it all! It isn't that loud so it's easy to have a conversation. Definitely recommend.

I’ll absolutely say this might be the best fried chicken in Boise by far! I’ve been here a few times now which have always been great experiences. I’ve tried most of the menu at this point and haven’t found anything I didn’t like. Even the Tofu (which I’m usually skeptical about) was fried great and topped with great sauces like their Creamy Onion. That and the soy fried chicken are top tier! You can’t go wrong with any sauce really I recommend sampling each one!
Tyler G — Google review
Best fried chicken in the Boise area. We are so lucky to have a high quality homemade chicken spot like Han's. I've tried almost the whole menu both bone-in and boneless, except for the Tofu box. The food always comes out piping hot I almost burn my mouth on it every time because I can't wait to eat it lol. The Atmosphere is great it's so cozy. They have cable TV there so you can watch sports too. My favorite sauces is the creamy onion and the Yangnyum it just depends if i'm in the mood for something spicy. The takeout is deconstructed so the sauce doesn't make the chicken soggy which I really appreciate. Im a foodie and everytime I travel Im on the lookout for restaurants like this. This is my first and only google review so take that into consideration on how legit I think this place is. It's a must try!
Kenny A — Google review
What a satisfying meal after a busy day. I got wings with yangnyum sauce, rice, and pickled veggies (I assume that was daikon). So crispy and sauce is perfect, like a little sweet, a little salty, not spicy (for me). And what made it perfect was the rice that was 10/10. I know it's just rice, but the number of Asian restaurants that don't get "just rice" right is appalling. Btw, parking on the street in front or their shared lot on the side.
Lieuko N — Google review
I love this place. I would’ve loved it even more if I had known the name means wings and beer. Both the wings and the beer are excellent. But it’s not quite what you think of when you think of standard American chicken wings. We had the creamy onion boneless wings which were fantastic, and an order of the house specialty wings which were also very, very good. The Sierra Nevada beer was to die for, and tasted very good along with the wings. I also took a couple of orders of the sticky white rice, excellent! They say this place is affordable, and I thought it was a little bit on the expensive side. I know about the supply chain issues. But our bill with a tip for three people came out to over $95, and that was just worth three menu items and two beers. The server/cashier was friendly and helpful. There was constant K-pop videos playing on the big screen, and that music was pleasant to listen to. I am definitely very happy we experienced this place. The storefront and inside, it kind of looks like a low-key diner, but it’s quite the eating experience, and I would highly suggest it!

Saint Lawrence Gridiron is a bustling New American eatery located near Boise's restaurant row and just a few steps from the state capitol. Originally a food truck, it now offers elevated chow and craft cocktails in a rustic-chic space. The restaurant is known for its bold Southern flavors, with a giant smoker on the front patio where all the meat-smoking magic happens.
Such amazing brunch. Service was as incredible as the food! Don't miss out on the brisket Benedict or mimosa carafe!
Bri B — Google review
I ordered the PBR Platter with cornbread and requested a piece of brisket from the point (fattier end piece). The brisket was extremely dry where I had to dunk it in the beef tallow to eat half the piece. The cornbread was also super dry and inedible. The pulled pork had very little flavor and it’s a bad sign when you have to smother it in bbq sauce to get down. The ribs were 70% rib tip with no trimming of the back flap and the fat was not rendered very well because they served the ribs without removing the upper rib tip. The collard greens were well cooked but extremely sour. That’s all I could taste was vinegar. Coleslaw was under seasoned and also sour. It’s a pretty pricey entree with a sampling of all their meats but the entire meal was either dry or sour.
Kevin T — Google review
I went there with my family to celebrate Father’s Day’s for my son and my daughter-in-law’s Father. There were 5 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. Service was very fast! The appetizer with sausage and pickle platter was delicious and I highly recommend. We all enjoyed it! I had the bbq sandwich with the sauce on the side. I have never had a sauce like that before and I just came from Texas. If you don’t sell it by the jar, you may consider it. It was the best I have ever had and I am usually not a big fan of sauces. I tried the potato salad off of my son’s plate and know I will order it for myself next time. For the amount of people at our table, our waiter was very attentive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. He was friendly and very accommodating for the three yr old. I will definitely be going back. I know if I have visitors, this will be one of the places I will have to take them to! Great food, atmosphere and service! Depending on if you get an entree or one of their delicious sandwiches will determine the cost of your meal.
Elaine M — Google review
Great food that melts in your mouth with perfectly rendered fat. A little pricy average meal is 30-40 dollars but it's enough to fill you till you're bursting. Chicken had a perfect crunch and then melts in your mouth. Brisket had perfectly rendered fat and was super delectable.
Jordan C — Google review
I visited Saint Lawrence Gridiron on 03/24/2023 and it was a delightful culinary experience! This place definitely gets a solid 5 stars from me. One of the standout items on their menu is the Dirty Bird sandwich ($16.00), and damn, it's a winner. The combination of tender Fried Chicken, tantalizing Louisiana spices, and just the right amount of chili oil creates an explosion of flavors in every bite. The sandwich is elevated further with the white BBQ sauce, perfectly balanced house slaw, and the tangy house pickles. It's a harmonious symphony of textures and tastes that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy! Another must-try item is the Sixth Man Burger ($17.00). The bacon jam adds a smoky sweetness that perfectly complements the grilled onions, while the special sauce adds a unique, zesty kick. The cheddar cheese melts beautifully over the juicy patty, and the jalapeños provide just the right amount of heat. Each bite of the Sixth Man Burger is a mouthwatering experience you won't soon forget. Apart from the exceptional food, the atmosphere at Saint Lawrence Gridiron is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The overall dining experience at Saint Lawrence Gridiron is undoubtedly worth a visit. If you're craving innovative and mouthwatering dishes, make sure to give this place a try!

If food is your love language this is the right spot for you. Phenomenal brisket. Slow cooked to perfection. If you love meat and southern flare this should be your first stop!
Medi S — Google review
Fantastic little building, amazing service - food really missed the mark. One cocktail tasted like cough syrup, the other was much better. Only some of the wings on our appetizer were cooked throughly, a few were under cooked with the stringy texture that only uncooked chicken has. They did have good flavor and heat. The salmon salad was really fishy tasting. Yes, yes, it is fish but smoked fish shouldn't be that fishy. It was funky. The brisket platter looked gorgeous however; the brisket cut had both seriously dry ends and large amounts of fat in the cuts. Taste was alright. We really like how the cornbread was fried on each side but taste and consistency still missed the mark. The absolute best tasting items were the bread and butter refrigerator pickles, pickled onions, and collard greens - they were amazing!!! That being said, we do like how they use real wood for their smoking technique, as it tends to give the best flavor. There is potential so we might be back to give it another go... The staff were very attentive and so kind, great people.

Excellent food and service! We got there right at happy hour they had some very good local beers on tap. We got the PBR and pork belly both were excellent the pork belly was so crispy and the meat was cooked perfectly. The PBR was huge the brisket was my favorite and it even came with a Pabst blue ribbon beer! Our friends got the fried chicken and it looked awesome they said it tasted excellent definitely coming back here.

KFC is a popular restaurant chain recognized for its signature buckets of fried chicken, as well as a variety of wings and side dishes. A recent visit to KFC revealed a positive experience, with a clean and well-lit dining area and attentive counter service. The crispy chicken sandwich was particularly enjoyable, featuring moist chicken, pickles, and mayonnaise for a satisfying crunch. Additionally, the fries were also noted to be quite good.
They were a little slow, but it was understandable. They were super busy and the food was fresh and delicious. Well worth the wait
Ghost H — Google review
Kfc has taken a hard nose dive and i don't think it can be saved - they overcharge for the 2nd cheapest meat on the market and its always more skin and bones then meat , the corn was horrible it looked like it went through a microwave 10 times , the mashed potatos an biscuits were the only decent food edible, for 40+ dollars i expect way more - albertsons 8 piece chicken is 8 bucks and the chicken is 5x better and hardier.
Matt M — Google review
Horrible and disappointing. Messed up my order and took 20 minutes for just counting fried chickens. They forgot to put ice in a cold drink and chickens were broken up in the box. No answer to phone call. They need to train employees more and teach them how to read the order sheets. “Fast food” is cheap and fast but they are doing opposite things.
Momoka T — Google review
Worst experience at kfc ive ever had. Fryer grease obviously needed a change, skin was a different color than its ever been and one piece looked like it had been mangled before being stuck in the box. Everything was shoved haphazardly in the box, biscuit right on top of the chicken and soggy by the time i got home. Butter packet for the biscuit was ripped and all over the inside of the bag. Got the new mountain dew and something was off with the mix, tasted like carbonated water flavored with dish detergent. Mashed potatoes themselves were decent but the gravy, like the chicken, looked off and didnt taste the same as it usually does. Surprised by the rampant lack of quality of the food and dissappointed i wasted my money on it. Won't be going back any time soon. Do yourself a favor and go to popeyes. Hell, even grocery store fried chicken is better than what these people are selling. 1 or 2 things and just i'd write it off as a bad night but this was horrible. I dont write reviews ever but they screwed up EVERYTHING.
Brett S — Google review
Honestly not sure why we gave this store another chance. We ordered a couple combo meals. One of the entrees was completely missing. The potato wedges were overcooked to the point of being nearly rock hard. Attempted to call them about this after getting home and either get a busy signal, or it just rings endlessly. Had to drive there again just to get a resolution. One of the worst fast food experiences I've had in recent memory and will not be coming back to this location again.
Lucas R — Google review
I ordered spicy chicken fries and juice. The system tells me 5-15 waiting time, I enter the restaurant and wait more than 45 minutes and when my food is ready they call the name that was on the receipt, I answer and introduce myself, the lady asks me straight away for my ID, surprised, I ask her why she asks me for my ID given that all the time I was waiting I didn't see anyone being asked for their ID. And, she replies with a very loud and arrogant voice "I'm doing my job otherwise I won't give you the food" and she pulls the food towards her. I tell her ok you want my card when I take out my card, she looks on the order screen and sees in front of my name pickup order and suddenly she starts to apologize and I turn my head leaving her in her regrets.
Yagouba B — Google review
We don't have this in my hometown, so I was excited to try A&W meal (corn dog specially) I order a hamburger combo and it was just sloppy and had so much sauce that it looks like they were just being rude. Which the lady taking my order was extremely rude. She shouldn't be in customer service. BTW this was on 9/12 @1p Then no corn dog (sad) but I do understand not getting a shipment in. What I don't understand is treating your customers with respect. I would avoid this place their service is terrible.

Ordered a 12 piece meal in the drive thru and we were shorted 2 pieces ( 1 breast and 1 wing) didn't notice until we went to eat the leftovers the next day for lunch. Also the lady taking the order wasn't the friendliest.

The Wylder is a trendy and modern restaurant in Boise that has quickly become a local favorite. With its 50-year-old sourdough bread starter and secret family recipes, this eatery offers an array of delectable dishes such as slow batch pizza, flavorful salads, and mouthwatering desserts.
Such a great pizzeria in the heart of Boise. It’s been on my list for a while now and I finally got to stop by. Cool city vibe without being pretentious. Excellent hosting and table service. I came with lots of questions and our server nailed every one of them. The salads and appetizers are bursting with flavor and thoughtful preparation. And the sourdough pizza crust is made with skill and love. Light, crispy, tender and digestible. A real gem. They have won best pizza in Idaho, and for good reason. I do think their prices were a little low for the quality they served up, but I won’t complain. Great jobs Wylder! I’ll be back.
Bill C — Google review
Stopped by The Wylder recently for lunch and was really impressed overall. I went with the fried chicken sandwich and paired it with their house salad. The sandwich was crispy and flavorful, with a nice kick from the spicy mustard & apples and a soft bun that held everything together. The house salad was fresh and well-dressed—a perfect light balance to the richness of the sandwich. Portions were generous, and everything came out looking appetizing. Service stood out as a highlight here. Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick with refills and check-ins, which made the meal feel easy and relaxed. Even though the place was busy, we never felt rushed or overlooked. Atmosphere-wise, The Wylder has a casual vibe but is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The decor is modern but not over-the-top, and it felt like the kind of spot you could hang out in for a while. All in all, a great spot for a casual meal downtown. Solid food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu! —Visited May 2025

We came to this restaurant perhaps expecting too much. Service was great considering the busy lunch hour, wine was good, water tasted very clean and fresh, and the sourdough was excellent :) Unfortunately, the toppings on the pizza were disappointing. The Margherita pizza was oversalted, and the mushroom pizza was sopping wet. I don't think I'll go back, at least not for the pizza.
Abigail B — Google review
I took my entire family to this restaurant because my aunt had gifted me a gift card for my recent birthday. The food and service here were excellent. The meatballs were giant, and they made their own tomato sauce fresh. The Harissa Wings tasted like a fresh, slightly spicy orange chicken. Their in-house ranch is also delicious. My adult son, who never likes ranch, loved it here. My friend enjoyed the cauliflower and chickpeas best. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty. The pizza we liked best was the honeybadger and yaya's house. They also made a great pepperoni pizza (two of my son's don't like to adventure with their food). It is pretty spendy, but you get what you pay for- fresh ingredients that take time to prepare. The parking is difficult, but that's pretty typical for downtown Boise anyway. We all enjoyed our late lunch here.
Sarah M — Google review
Wow! Some of the best pizza we've had since Napoli! That crust is next level good. Perfectly crispy, yet flavorful. Well aged. The flavor combinations are unreal. The honey badger was not normal for me to choose, but its popularity won me over. It did not disappoint. The Italian sausage, fresh ricotta, and spicy honey was such a genius combo. Love it! The Margherita pizza with added burrata was perfection. The kale caesar was a surprise hit. Perfectly balanced and flavorful. The wife loved her cocktails (boulevardier). Our server, Kendall, was a gem. She was the perfect host to a perfect meal.

Went there around 9pm, there are vacant seat but the reception took forever to fill the table, went to sit at the bar table instead as it was first come first serve basis. Ordered mushroom toast which is so nice, the pizza is average

I was in town for work for only a bit over a day, and multiple people recommended this place. I ended up getting one of their suppers, the lasagna. Just positively excellent sauce, and well composed I also got a few slices of their pizza from my coworker. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Sophia was our server, and she was excellent. Just a perfect guide for our dinner with great add-ons and helping us with our choices, and made our first time there so special. She is amazing.

This place is good. The food is fresh and simple. I love a simple and well executed menu. We ordered grilled asparagus, meatballs, fingerling potatoes, kale salad, Cacio pepe and cheese pizza. The only slight knock will be to the cacio pepe was meh and the cheese pizza per my kids was salty. Otherwise, legit spot. Will return for more. The staff was awesome! Bar tenders, hosts, server (Joseph) 💯, and the manger. Thank you for a good experience.

We travel a lot and have had our fair share of burgers across the country, but nothing compares to this one right here in Boise. This burger isn’t just good—it’s unforgettable. From the perfectly seasoned, juicy patty to the fresh, locally sourced toppings and that golden, toasted bun that ties it all together, every bite was absolute perfection. It’s clear this place takes pride in what they do. The flavors are bold and balanced, the textures are spot on, and you can taste the quality in every ingredient. It’s one of those rare meals that makes you pause after the first bite just to appreciate how good it really is. We wouldn’t have found this gem without the locals—thank you for the amazing recommendation! If you’re in Boise, do yourself a favor and try this burger. The food was delicious and quick and our server was very nice and chill. The Rib Eye Steaks, Beef Wellington, and Alaskan Halibut were incredible. The stuffed mushrooms, Idaho Stuff Potatoes and Brie were sublime and allowing us the private room to celebrate our recently departed friend and the gorgeous picture our very attentive waiter took of us was astounding to us. Born and raised in Boise but neither me or my parents have been to this gem. First it's dog friendly so when my uncle showed up with his dog it was all good. It has quickly gained popularity in the Boise food scene, often experiencing wait times unless reservations are made. The bar area is bustling with patrons enjoying the cool atmosphere. We had dinner at Tupelo Honey for my daughter's birthday. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles. I wasn't as crazy about the potatoes though. I love the airy feeling and great decor.

We stopped by Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar while visiting Idaho for the first time and overall had a really good experience. The food was delicious, well prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was excellent too.. the restaurant is beautifully designed and made for a very enjoyable dining setting. The only downsides were a few service hiccups. It took a while for our food to arrive and we had to ask twice for water and also for a glass for my beer. These were small things but still worth mentioning. That said, the quality of the food and the great vibe of the place made it a worthwhile stop. We'd definitely consider coming back the next time we're in town.

We enjoyed Tupelo Honey. The food was good, especially the appetizers like the fried okra and brussel sprouts. The fries were also very good. The peach jam for the biscuits was well done. The fry sauce (mayo, vinegar, ketchup) was great also. We had great service with Avery as our waitress and didn't wait very long for our food. We made a reservation easily online but it was not too crowded anyway. The entrees were good but not anything too special. It was a little confusing finding the escalator to get upstairs since the restaurant is on the second floor. The menu is well labeled for gluten free items, but no dairy free options clearly labeled.

Ordered brunch to go today and it was so good! Chicken was well seasoned and the biscuits were A++ was really excited to try this place being from North Carolina it’s hard to find good southern food outside of the south. The tea was even sweet!! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because my gravy was missing from the biscuits and gravy- (laughing and crying). Will be back for more (and my side of gravy).

We found this little spot called Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & bar that was upstairs over looking the walking street off Idaho St. The hospitality at this place was great as soon as we walked in the doors and the food was just as good. We were seated and taken care of quickly and this place serves brunch all day. It was a beautiful view and the day was really nice to be sitting outside. My wife and I both ordered brunch with scrambles, potatoes and coffee. Great repot and would definitely come back when we visit again.

It was really good. Nice environment. Music was going but I could still hear myself think. Staff was overly friendly. Relatively cheap for downtown.

It was so fun being on the second floor balcony. Our group of parents went there twice for dinner during a soccer tournament, and they happily accommodated our large group. Delicious food and drinks!

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a fast-food chain that offers Louisiana-inspired cuisine, specializing in spicy fried chicken, biscuits, and sides. Their chicken products are deep-fried in vegetable oil and are known for their unique texture due to the use of growth hormones and other additives. Customers have enjoyed the manager's special which includes mixed tender pieces cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese is also a favorite with its crispy golden top and flavorful interior.
I love Popeyes chicken. I went with a 5 piece and a chicken sandwich. Cost was around $20 I noticed the chicken tenders are thin sliced before cooking. Food was good and so was the service.

The food was amazing but the wait time was not. We paid at 12:01pm and were told the chicken sandwich was going to be about 8 minutes and if we were okay with that, to which we replied yes. However, we didn’t receive our food until 20+ minutes later. That’s the only reason we didn’t leave 5 stars. If something went wrong I would recommend just coming outside and letting the customer know it’s gana be longer than anticipated (maybe offer a small drink) and at least then everyone will be on the same page. Being left in the dark way past ETA is not something a customer should experience.

I've been going to this location for 3 years. Sometimes it has been hit or miss. Jasmine is why I edited my review - she is always so helpful, polite, and cheerful! There are a couple of employees at this location who make the experience better. (5 stars!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food is mostly good. I've had a few items missing several times, but the online virtual/AI assistant takes care of that quickly without me having to call. (4 stars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Popeyes has jacked their prices and reduced the size of the portions, most notably of the large fries by half, so not only is it more expensive, you get less food to feed your family. (1 star - come on, the fries are one of the cheapest items for the company) ⭐

It was sad to be honest. The fries were greasy and limp. The chicken strips were small. This meal was definitely not with the $12 to pay for it. It wasn't busy when we came for lunch through the drive thru. A couple cars parked and one in the drive thru. The staff were very nice and customer service oriented. The food just wasn't worth the price. Another fast food chain down the drain as far as I'm concerned. *This review is purely based on my opinion and my opinion only.

Mac and cheese was a big glob of burnt cheese. My 3 year old wouldn’t touch it. Disgusting.

Went through the drive thru and the lady was really rude. My husband asked what the sides were(he couldn't see the sides ) and she said " just look at the menu"..... and she continued to be rude. our soda was watered-down (we just threw it away) and all our food was cold. After we popped the food in the microwave the food was good. Just disappointed with everything else.
Laura S — Google review
First off I have to say they got my sandwich wrong... now that being said. The service I received was absolutely incredible! They were running behind making the chicken and I had to wait a while in the drive thru but the girl was so sweet and even comped us large sides. Definitely suggested!

Most experiences are good. You have to ask for fresh chicken to get the best flavor and texture. They honor the fresh chicken request every time. The general store manager is really nice and energetic person. She always tries to serve the best.

Deli
Hugo's Deli is a beloved family-owned establishment with two convenient locations in the Treasure Valley, one nestled in Meridian and the other in South Boise. This deli is renowned for its hearty sandwiches that are generously piled high with your favorite ingredients, ensuring you won't leave hungry—many patrons even take half their meal home! The menu also boasts delicious potato wedges and an array of fresh deli salads that perfectly complement any sandwich choice.
I've been coming to this Deli since the 1990s. Their sandwiches are loaded with all of your favorite things, and they are big enough to bring half home. I love, love ,love their Deli fries, they are to die for, but beware they are a calorie buster! I've come to learn that this place is good in moderation. Lol They have many items to choose from on their menu beside sandwiches and Deli fries, and you definitely get what you pay for. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the service is fast. If you're in the area and hungry, I recommend stopping in and trying them out.

First time trying this place. I had limited time during my lunch hour so I stopped in on my way back to the office to grab something to go. I got the full size club (turkey ham and bacon) on sourdough bread with pepper jack cheese. Heard i had to try their fries so I got some of those too. The staff was super super kind and helpful. Very fast service as well. In total for the sandwich and fries with a side of ranch, under $15. Not bad at all for the amazing quality and portions! I definitely will be back. My only complaint... the ranch was trash.. in my humble opinion 🤣
Amber J — Google review
I had a fried chicken breast with a quarter pound of fries and a fountain Coke Zero. The atmosphere and the staff made the place truly feel like a neighborhood spot and because of that I can understand why people come here. I thought the fries were good with the fry sauce but I think if they were crispier they would phenomenal. My chicken was on the drier side and lacked seasoning, so I’d go for dark meat here.

Love a great sub sandwich to feel my belly. I nice place to get a quick sub that is always fresh. The staff at this place were very nice and gave me good info if I wanted different veggies and proteins. The place appears to be clean and well organized.

I asked for extra meat, and it was so big I questioned my life choices and gag reflex. For the price of limp footlong sub from subway, every bite was mouthful. My jaw had to be dislocated. If you're craving something big and satisfying, Hugo's is the spot. 10/10 would go down on... uh... with... for? this sandwich again.
Austin H — Google review
Oh my goodness, where do I even start with this absolute gem of a deli? It’s hands-down the cutest spot I’ve ever stepped foot in, like a warm hug from your favorite granny. Every single time I’ve visited—and trust me, I keep coming back - I leave with a full belly and an even fuller heart. Walking in feels like skipping through the door of my granny’s kitchen after a long day of playing outside, with that cozy, nostalgic vibe that just wraps you up in comfort. The place is a charming relic, steeped in tradition, thanks to Hugo’s legacy. But it’s Andre who’s the real magic-maker, carrying that torch with such warmth and care. He’s like a beacon of hope, reminding me that there are still genuinely amazing humans out there. His kindness makes every visit feel personal, like your family. And the food? Oh, it’s phenomenal….every bite bursting with love and flavor that tastes like it was made just for you. From the perfectly crafted sandwiches to the soul-soothing soups, it’s clear every dish is made with heart. The humans behind the counter are just as delightful as the food, always greeting you with smiles that feel like home. This deli isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a little slice of joy that I can’t wait to return to again and again.

Today was my first visit to Hugo's Deli. I came here to buy a specific sandwich for a friend who has been unable to get out and about for several months, and has been craving a Santana from Hugo's. She enjoyed her sandwich so much, that I will definitely be treating her more often, and now I am very eager to try their delicious food as well! 😋

I tired this place once a few years ago and it was just ok, gave it a second try today and unfortunately my first impression was correct..the sandwich was very mushy and had zero flavor. Plus it took so long for our sandwich to come out but everyone that was behind us in line got their sandwiches first. Overall not impressed and won't be returning

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. It has been credited by some as the pioneer of the chicken sandwich craze. The restaurant's loyalists claim it to be the original and the one that started it all. Customers have praised the friendly and professional staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and pleasant atmosphere with real flowers on every table.
This is the friendliest Chick-fil-A I've visited. They held the door open for our family, had quality place mats for the kids, and were just generally pleasant folks. The food was great too, fries were just about perfect. I don't often leave reviews, but I feel obligated to do so this time since, in addition to the great service mentioned above (which was already pretty much the best I'd ever receive), they went dumpster diving for my clear plastic retainer which I had left on my tray like an absent-minded dad. Not only did they INSIST on continuing to search even after I told them I would be able to get a replacement, after 30 minutes they actually did find them! Just stellar all around, worth the 5 star review.

I don’t like to be that person but I am a hormonal pregnant woman so I got really upset when I was on my lunch break and had ordered to pick up my food. I was in a rush and didn’t get to check my food until I got back to work to open my food and find my 8 ct nugget meal was now a chicken strip meal. I know it’s not a big deal but it made me want to cry as I was looking forward to my meal. I even double checked to make sure it wasn’t my fault but both the ticket in my bag and on the Chick-fil-A app said nugget meal.

From when we walked in to when we left the service was incredible. A girl named Maddi O. We came to Chick-fil-A for dinner as a family and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm, clean, and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the incredible customer service. Every team member was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in. You can tell they really care about creating a positive experience. Definitely one of the best fast food experiences we’ve had!

Clean restaurant, easy to get into and get out. The food was good the service was prompt and the order was correct. An employee opened the door when I entered. Nice touch!
The C — Google review
I’ve always had positive experiences at your locations, so I want to preface my complaint by noting that. However, today, September 23, 2025, at around 10:25 AM, the employee who took my order was notably condescending. My order totaled over $40, and when I pointed out that she missed a second apple juice after she repeated the order, she responded dismissively, saying, “Let me repeat the entire order one more time for you,” and still omitted the apple juice. At the window, the gentleman assisting me was exceptionally kind and seemed to go out of his way to make up for the interaction, which I appreciated, though I felt bad for him. Perhaps she was having a rough day, but the experience was unpleasant.

We enjoyed our meal here & returned for another. The food was great, the staff were friendly, refilled our drinks on a regular basis & cleared garbage. The cow mascot came out & our kids enjoyed interacting with him.

This Burger King has a two lever play ground area inside to keep the little ones busy and happy. Their food is the standard mega chain hamburger places that are pretty on every corner. Their food is quick and no matter which one you go to it’s all the same. How do you spell consistency is the key to any chain. The always have signs up hiring. 🤔

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. I came in at 12:45am, for some food, and usually this place is amazing! But not today. First off, a rude bald man was so rude in the drive thru taking our order, and was not helpful nor would he listen. Once I came up to the window, I made the mistake to not ask for onions, due to being allergic to them. A yellow haired lady screamed from the kitchen so loud I could hear her in the drive thru , and stomped up to the window and said “SERIOUSLY” and it made me very uncomfortable to the point that I couldn’t wait to get out of there. This place just made me feel very uncomfortable and bothered by the way they treat people. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Shout out to the young man with the slicked hair though, very nice. The rest of them can take my middle finger and shove it. I was very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

7/14/25. My daughter ordered the #1 whopper meal. That actually was fresh and looked like the pictures. I ordered the classic royal crispy chicken wrap. I gave it back to the manager because it looked horrible 😕. The chicken pieces looked like it was 3 days old. Grease brown. Flat and barely anything lying on a cold tortilla with 1 small tomato slice that they cut a hole in. No leafy lettuce just a few diced pieces soaked in Mayo. This thing was gross. I lost my appetite. Did not look anything like pic. See below what is advertised.

I’m still in line but I’m compelled to write this review. I ordered a number three and they tried to upsell me to a large without asking. They just told me the price and I corrected them that I just want their regular number three. When I pulled up, I grabbed my card and charged me for a medium number three which increased my order by $.80 for my fry and $.50 for my drink. I’m only upset because I did not ask for this. It’s horrible to force people up by their upsells.

The food is always what you would expect from a Burger King, but every time I go in there it seems like Hilary is at the window. I don't know if that girl works 24 hours a day 7 days a week but she is just great. If she's not running that place she should be. A+ for great service!

Off Broadway Deli, situated in a strip mall in SE Boise, is a popular spot for its wide variety of deli and specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, fried chicken, chicken strips, finger steaks and deli fries. Formerly known as Hugos Deli and now independently owned, the deli offers discounts to Boise State University students and military personnel as well as firefighters and police officers. Visitors have praised the delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients and the friendly staff.
YAY WHAT A GREAT PLACE! I’m just a girl who always wants a sandwich. We drive to and from OR all the time and need a cheap, yummy, **close to the freeway** place to stop for lunch. This place is the new go-to. You’ll hit it either right before or right after driving through busy Boise, which is great. We’re dairy free and accommodations were easy as pie, even when we forgot to tell them when initially ordering. We got the Hot Broad and Pilgrim sandwiches, hot broad is the best pesto sandwich I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of turkey pesto sandwiches. Perfect service, everyone was genuinely nice and knew what they were talking about (helps when I trust who’s making my sandwich). There’s also crispy chicken, fries, and deli salads. So, yeah. I just need a punch card 😆 come here instead of a fast food place, you won’t regret it!! keep up the fantastic work!
Abby W — Google review
The ladies at Off Broadway Deli really know what they’re doing, the restaurant has a great atmosphere, we’ve always had exceptional and friendly service, and it has become our go-to stop every time we come through Boise (with two recent visits for our cross-state relocation). Calling in our order has always been super easy, and it’s usually ready and waiting when we arrive; if not, the wait is never long. ALL of the ingredients are so fresh, and of superb quality- they’re seriously the best sandwiches I’ve ever had (shh, don’t tell my spot back home!). Theres a HUGE selection of literally everything, even cheesecake and other desserts to satiate your sweet tooth. Making alterations to accommodate for allergies or changes to ingredients is never a problem, and we feel really safe eating here, which is huge for our morale. Folx with allergies will totally get that eating out is usually a challenge, but not at Off Broadway Deli. Theres truly something for everyone. We love Off Broadway Deli and will continue to make it our destination for delicious and nutritious food. Thank you for coming through with the best quality sandwiches, and getting us through such a rough move. My mama would be grateful that I got my veggies in, too <3

Not really worth it. Far better delis around, especially fat guys deli up the street. Sandwiches are small, horrible selection of bad stale bread, moldy sprouts, assembled horribly. Unfortunate too, I drive by this place every day and the reviews made it look like a decent place, and was excited to try. Incredibly underwhelming. Everything lacked flavor, small stale bread didn’t help either. Potato salad had no flavor to it. The selection of sandwiches and flavors is odd, and don’t make sense with the style of bread they have. Basically only sliced bread or stale rolls you and buy at the supermarket. You would think if you owned a deli, you would make sure you had really good bread. Price is okay. If nothing else is open in the area, I guess it could work in a pinch. I would not recommend if you are looking for deli sandwiches. At least the people that work there are nice, but that doesn’t make up for the poor quality of food.
Amanda M — Google review
This place was great! So many options I have never seen before. The sandwich was delicious and evenly proportioned with the ingredients. The staff was very friendly, efficent and attentive. I highly recommend this for a deli shop to grab some amazing food.

Went back after having it a few years ago and enjoying it. Really skimpy on the amount of meat, and they're using grocery store sandwich bread. The girl running it was really nice but overwhelmed with juggling multiple orders. On the side, i also ordered the broccoli cheddar soup, and it was cold. Which, needless to say, isn't safe. Won't be back.

Located in a strip mall in SE Boise, Off Broadway Deli is known for their deli and specialty sandwiches and soups. They also have a salads, fried chicken, chicken strips, finger steaks and deli fries. Show them your Boise State University or military ID for 10% off your order. The same offer applies Firefighters and Police Officers. Years ago, this business was Hugo’s Deli. At some point it became independently owned. For that reason, you will notice some similarities between the menus but Off Broadway Deli has additional specialty sandwiches, their own soup recipes, and they use different seasoning/batter for their chicken. One of the reasons why I most wanted to visit this deli is because they are known for their extensive list of homemade soups, which they rotate through. They usually offer two soups a day but for my first visit on 11/9/21, they had three. Homemade soup is one of my favorites and I could happily eat it every day, so I ordered a bowl of each. The soup comes in two sizes, a cup for $2.99 or a bowl for $5.09. I got Jalapeño Bacon Beer Cheese, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Loaded Baked Potato. I also ordered a drumstick and some fries. Off Broadway Deli has homemade fry sauce, as well as regular and spicy ketchup, which is like cocktail sauce. I got a little of each. All of the soups had good flavor. My favorite was a tossup between the Loaded Potato and the Jalapeño Bacon Beer Cheese. The drumstick and fries were excellent, as was the fry sauce. Off Broadway Deli usually posts their daily soups on their FB page. If not, just give them a call and they’ll be happy to tell you their daily soups. Their soup repertoire includes the following: Chicken Pot Pie Lemon Artichoke Chili BBQ Chicken Sausage & Cabbage Chicken Tortilla Crab Bisque Chicken Cordon Bleu Cheesy Cauliflower Cream of Broccoli Potato, Ham & Corn Chowder Cream of Asparagus Tomato Buffalo Bacon Cauliflower Chicken Poblano Swedish Meatball Clam Chowder Chicken Enchilada Maple Ham & Bean Chicken Verde Split Pea w/ Ham Address: 3369 S. Grit American Cuisine offers a diverse menu with unique dishes like apricot pizza, steamed clams with spicy honey peanut butter, and delicious fried chicken. The restaurant's signature fried chicken is brined for up to 12 hours in lemon juice and spices, then deep-fried after being dredged in buttermilk and hot sauce. The dining area has a mix of booths, bar seating, regular tables, and high tables. While the food received positive feedback, some customers noted slow service.
Have been coming here for over a year. The food and drinks (try their specialty whiskies!) Are hands down one of the best places in eagle. If you're on the fence. Jump the fence and head to grit! Spicy Nashville is one of my many go to choices. Burgers are one of the best in boise and definitely eagle.

Two of us went to dinner last night. At prime time all the tables were filled, but the wait was only about 10 minutes. The dining since is fairly small with a mixture of booths, bar, tables and high tables. The food was good, but thought the kitchen was slow to deliver. We started off with the deep fried pickled jalapenos. The batter was a bit odd. I had the Pepper Crusted Burger and my wife had the grit dip (French dip). I was expecting more like ground peppercorns and a more spice. It was lacking that full flavored crust you normally look for. Luckily, I still had some of the pickled jalapenos that I added to the Burger. The server was fairly prompt and refilled my water when it was empty. I guess I was thirsty because it was 3 times during our experience. I never ventured into the bathroom, so I'm not sure where, what what it looked like. I will be coming back to try again and some of the other items that looked good.

I have been going here since it has opened and racking up points and I will never find another place like it. The chicken is fresh and juicy with the perfect flavor! The cluck sauce is also to die for , I wish I had the recipe. Sadly I am loving this year and I wish I could take this restaurant with me.

It's alright, like I never finish my food here. Fries are good, but the chicken is pretty mid, service is really slow for what the product is as well. Feels pricey for the overall food product even though it aims to be fast casual.

We really enjoyed the chicken…I mean, that’s why you come here! We wanted to try a few things, so we got the two slider combo with different heats. I loved the Nashville hot…sizzling! Plus the chicken was so moist! I’ll be coming back again!

The food is pretty good. Service took quite a while, 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries. Took 30 mins to get our food from the time we paid. Why are happy hour prices only allowed for beer? It makes no sense to have me pay more for soda. I assume beer costs the store more. And soda is very cheap. This is a stupid policy.
Retail S — Google review
Ordered the Jala Cluck with Nashville Hot, and it was well worth it! I would consider myself a spicy enthusiast and Nashville hot wasn't too mild but also wasn't so hot it ruined the dish. Can't comment on atmosphere as the place was empty (around closing time). Also some alcoholic drinks are also available here as well. Would go again :)
