The 50 best resorts and all-inclusive vacations in Jamaica

The property and resort is nice, although we weren't blown away or impressed above our expectations. The food is delicious, however there are some that I would avoid, such as El Patio. The a la carte dinners also took a long time, up to 2 hours if you also have dessert, which lead to long wait times if you don't arrive close to opening at 6:00. The app was also not accurate, listing hours for each restaurant, which changed our plans more than once when we arrived to a closed restaurant. Room service was quite slow at times, so we only ordered breakfast which was more prompt. The very large size of the resort (combining 3 resorts) seems to be a challenge from a service and maintenance aspect. The pool area was clean. Although the beach/ocean had a high amount of sargassum, it was still swimmable. The ocean only gets around 3-5ft deep up to the buoys. Lots of beach chairs available. Pool chairs were more limited. This is the 2nd Secrets we have stayed at, and Secrets Cap Cana was a more impressive resort to us, and left us expecting more from Wild Orchid. Overall, this is a good resort worth going to and we had a great time, but unless it is your first time at an all inclusive, you should adjust your expectations.

In general would give this resort a 3.5 out of 5. They desperately need to remodel and upgrade their rooms, pool, restaurants décor etc. The hospitality was not always good, a lot of times the women would give a lot of attitude and make it seem like getting our requests were such a pain to them. Our toilet was clogged one of the nights just because they didn't work well enough. I had to call front desk 3 times with a wait of over an hour, no one came. I had to go down to front desk and demand maintenance to ride in the elevator with me to fix the issue. A few days later when we were making a reservation to a restaurant the hostess was oh room # XXX you guys had the toilet complaint - EXCUSE ME? First of very unprofessional you would bring that up at dinner, secondly it wasn't my fault maintenance was not doing their job and I had to yell at them to do so. The food was really good however, the wait for receiving your food was sometimes over an hour. The hibachi experience was one of our top memories - definitely recommend. The coffee shop had great coffee and the women there were very nice there. The beach area was great, beautiful, calm waves with amazing sunset. In general I do not think the cost for this resort was worth what we got

We have just returned from here. All I can say is excellent. All the staff make you feel welcome and part of the family in Jamaica. The barracuda bar is the bar to be at. Dowaine, Shereece, Althea, Jenell, Kadeen nd KerryAnn make you feel so special and they take very good care of you. Deandra and Junior in the restaurants take very good care of you. Lisa and Rusheka and the others on reception are always available and extremely helpful. Anita on the cleaning team looked after us very well. Duran and Rashmaine our buttlers were exceptional. They were kind, helpful and made our time in Jamaica extra special. I would recommend this hotel 100 %

We really enjoyed our stay! The resort is nice, the entertainment is great, the food is great… only a few discomforts some of the restaurants are extremely hot. We tried to dress up a little bit for the rooftop dinner and the hibachi dinner and we’re extremely uncomfortable due to the heat. Maybe if they could find a way to put some outdoor fans it would be perfect. The other thing is we upgradedto the preferred status to be able to enjoy some of the top shelf amenities, but they did not upgrade the room service menu so that was a bust. But overall, I was still give it 4 1/2 stars.

We had a wonderful 25th anniversary trip at Secrets Wild Orchid. Lots of entertainment, tour options, water activities, and the gym was great. Dieandra at World Cafe was absolutely amazing so we asked to be seated at her table for the entire trip! So warm, friendly and professional. We will definitely return!

I recently stayed at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The check-in process was smooth, and we were able to check in earlier than expected, which was a plus. The room itself was very nice—clean, comfortable, and with a beautiful ocean view. However, the food and service fell far short of what I would expect from a 5-star resort. There was little to no variety in the food; the same items were served daily across nearly all restaurants. The few restaurants that did offer variety were booked days in advance, yet no one informed us of the need to make early reservations. To make matters worse, the bars and restaurants weren’t consistently open, leaving long gaps with no food or drinks available. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, but even that was underwhelming. I left the hotel for an excursion and the food was so much better outside. During my stay, I needed some basic feminine products, but surprisingly, the hotel did not stock any. Thankfully, one of the staff members went out of her way to provide them from her own supply—a kind gesture, but something the resort should have been prepared for. Another frustrating moment came when I asked for a towel around 5 PM on the beach, only to be told there were none available. For a resort of this caliber, that felt unacceptable. The drinks were mediocre at best—often watered down and lacking quality. When I asked staff questions, they rarely had answers, which only highlighted how disorganized the resort seemed. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. Jamaica is a stunning and vibrant country, but sadly, this resort did not reflect the beauty or hospitality I was hoping for. I truly expected more from a brand that markets itself as a luxury experience.

Absolutely amazing! I love this resort! All inclusive/adults only. Our room was beautiful. The view was stunning and the food was sooooo good! Jamaica is top tier one of a kind! I can’t wait to go back! 🩷

Sandals Royal Carribean did not disappoint. Shadeen (wedding planning office) went above and beyond. To add some further detail, my wife and I had been planning our vowel renewal in Jamaica through Sandals and it was poor. HOWEVER, as soon as we get to the resort Shadeen makes it look effortless and there is no stress. Her attention to detail and "customer first" approach is great. She made our vowels renewal exactly what we wanted, thank you Shadeen you were amazing! Our butlers lan and Nicole were exceptional and in all honesty they made our stay. Both made our individual birthdays special and made us feel special on each. To be honest, I think if we didn't have lan and Nicole I don't think our stay would of been what it was, they were amazing, friendly, professional and easy going, thank you both. The maintenance team on the beach were also great and keep the beach in pristine condition whilst also being pleasant and professional. Few comments for improvement. My wife and I went to the sushi restaurant in Montego Bay and was met with abit of hostility when asking for Perrier water that we had thought our butler had arranged, it was as if the server w looking down on us, however she did warm u wards the end.

I must say the staff at Sandals Royal Caribbean were exceptional and there was a very high staff to guest ratio. I was greeted by a cold wet flannel and a drink which was exactly what the doctor ordered. Please note I arrived at 11am and check in was for 3pm. They stored my luggage and was more than happy to assist me with settling in on the premises until my room was ready. The room was exquisite, the only downside was that the gentleman that took me to my room spoke so fast and could have taken time to explain things a little more as I felt lost on the first night there. Throughout the stay, staff members went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, special thank to all the staff in Cricketer's pub, you were all superb. My house keeper Terry-Ann was so lovely, thanks again. The highlight of my trip though was Patricia at front desk. I had a late flight back home and stayed on the premises until it was time to leave. I was told earlier my a team member that I could use that facilities at the gym to have a shower and get changed. Patricia, however gave me access to a room to have a shower and get changed. Now, that is what you call going above and beyond. Thank you so so much and I cannot wait to come again as this was an absolutely breathtakingly epic experience, PS the fire dance was incredible!

Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary 2 weeks ago at Sandals Royal Caribbean, the place we honeymooned. Everything and everyone were fantastic. Food, service, drinks, vibe, top notch as usual. We enjoyed a swim out suite and it was so fun having our own pool area and sundeck. We spent a day on the island at the pool and beach bar and it was quiet and uncrowded. Royal Caribbean is much smaller and laid back than Sandals Montego Bay down the road, but you have privileges at both. Totally enjoyed our relaxing time.

We had the most phenomenal trip to Sandals Royal Caribbean. We resort was awesome. The view from our room amazing. All the staff was friendly, professional and genuine "really sincere people". The food was delicious. We went for our Thirty Year anniversiry and my wife being cancer free. If you need to refresh I would encourage you to plan a trip.

Our Sandals vacation in Montego Bay at Royal Caribbean was really great. The resort was not as big as our first experience at St. Lucia, but we had a great time celebrating with our friends for their 10th wedding anniversary. Our Butler, Andre (Bossi) was superb and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable, worry-free time. He was attentive to our needs, anticipated our desires, and went the extra mile to help us celebrate with banners, flowers, and signs posted for the anniversary. The food was good and our server, Princess, at the Bombay resort was so delightful that we requested her on our return visit to the restaurant. The entertainment was very nice and we are already looking towards the next Sandals location.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay about a week before hurricane Melissa hit. Our stay was as epic as we had hoped. Rooms, service, staff, food, drinks, pools, beach...everything was 10/10. Our butlers Sheldon and Andre awesome...attentive without being intrusive. We loved the surprises they had for us in our room and while lounging at the pool and beach. My wife especially loved the private dinner on the beach. Too many good things to list here. We will be back, not only because of the quality of our visit, but because of the outstanding way they treated guests who got stuck there due to hurricane Melissa.

My husband and I stayed five days at Sandals Royal Caribbean for our Anniversary. This is a beautiful resort, very relaxing if you are looking for a relaxing resort with all the amenities. The rooms are beautiful, the restaurants serve good food, the grounds are well maintained. The ocean view is awesome. Can't wait to go back next year. The hospitality is awesome 👍

Asani really came in clutch when our driver fell through for a tour at last minute and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed while at the resort! Jean Pierre and Sharon were quick and friendly and always had the best service in the Little River Buffet! Aldin had the best drink and very informative while constructing the drink! Lashawna was very pleasant, always smiling and kept the room clean each time and does a great job! Skittles, V6, concrete and Tiffany kept the entertainment flowing and the good times rolling at the pool side each day! Chef Pais was fantastic at the Japanese restaurant! He was very friendly and entertaining made the whole experience more enjoyable.

We stayed for my son's first birthday and I must say from checking in with Odian who was very informative and friendly. Our bellman I don't remember his name but he was great also. The hotel was beautiful,clean and quiet. There was so much to do and I loved that they catered to my toddler. Star camp and the play room was very entertaining for my son he enjoyed it so did we. Our room attendant Ashanique was a gem. The options for food was great and we enjoyed every meal. Our son's birthday dinner was at the hibachi restaurant food was delicious and Carone was also a gem. At the buffet Cassandra,Donate and Jean Pierre were excellent, even Browning who provided our towels at the pool was very nice..My son loved the ladies and they were very friendly to him. For our first family vacation we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Iberostar family thank you.

Absolutely Incredible Stay! The Entertainment Team & Staff Made It Unforgettable! I visited back in June and loved it so much that I had to come back this month and somehow, this trip was even better than the first! My expectations were blown away yet again from the amazing food to the top-tier entertainment. Chef Marcus over at Dutchies is an absolute legend his food is beyond delicious every single time! And I can’t forget to shout out Errol the bartender, who kept the drinks flowing and the vibes high all day long. He’s the best friendly, fast, and always smiling! And then there’s the entertainment crew truly the heart of the resort. V6, Redbull, Too Short, and Sparkles, you four are incredible! The energy, the fun, the way you connect with everyone you make each day feel like a celebration. The resort wouldn’t be the same without you! Can’t wait to come back again soon! This place just gets better and better every time!

I first stayed here back in June and loved it so much that I just had to return and somehow, this visit was even more amazing than the last! From the fantastic food to the incredible entertainment, everything exceeded my expectations once again. Chef Marcus at Dutchies continues to impress! his food is simply exceptional every single time! And I can’t forget Errol behind the bar, who kept the drinks flowing and the atmosphere lively all day long. He’s quick, friendly, and always has a smile that makes your day better! Then there’s the phenomenal entertainment team: V6, Redbull, Sparkles, and Too Short. You four bring such energy, fun, and connection to every moment. You make everyone feel included and turn every day into something unforgettable. The resort just wouldn’t have the same magic without you! I’m already counting down the days until I can come back again! this place somehow gets better with every visit!

From the beginning of my trip to the end it was a great experience. Sha'Fae in the Prestige Lounge service was great as was her whole team. Butler service was incredible with Christhoper/Omar and the team. Drinks were delicious and well made from Mellissa and Shelly at the Prestige Cabana's and Trishone service pool side was amazing as was Cassandra as always. D'Ontae in the lobby drink suggestions and cocktails was great and she is a pleasure to speak too. Traceyann in the Spa massage work was incredible and deserves a shout out as well. Ghorgie from Membership sales was professional and informative throughout the week as well. Bubbles and Smiley in the entertainment crew also always do a great job. Sean at the front is always friendly and provides great service. I will be back!

Decent resort that offers something for all ages. The pool area can get a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you are looking for quiet. Jamaican restaurant on the beach treated our family like royalty. That was the highlight of our stay. It was our Nieces birthday on the day of arrival and we had the pleasure of dining here the first night. The food came out family style and it was great. The chefs hospitality was top tier. For the most part the entire staff was very professional and pleasant. Our housekeeper did an awesome job cleaning our room daily. She was great. Pool was always clean. Italian restaurant was fantastic. The main dining area for buffet food was extremely humid and almost made it unbearable to eat inside. They really need to upgrade their systems and make that area more comfortable to dine especially In warm months. Warning! If you have no intentions of buying a vacation club membership don't do the tour. The concierge will track you down if you miss your scheduled visit. They are also very rude if you do not attend. Beach is nice and not very wide but they keep it clean with plenty of chairs. Also beware of the people who claim pool chairs. They are relentless. Overall it was a nice family vacation.

Too short & Redbull well so welcoming & great with entertaining. They made me feel welcomed and loved. I appreciate the effort they put in to make everyone create great memories! They can dance their butt off & they are funny. My favorite thing about the resort was the entertainment crew, free food & liquor & the activities that were available during my stay.

Great resort, would be 5 stars were it not for the string mold smell up on entering rooms. There has to be a way to remedy this as the resort is newer. I definitely enjoyed the access to Secrets restaurants and beaches and was treated like Secrets royalty. Would come again but would love for them to do something about mold smell. JANICE in the spa was awesome, special about Shout to her, such a pleasure. We enjoyed the stay and pool parties and drinks..staff very friendly and attentive. Fun trip.

Alistair is the the Best bartender on the whole resort! He’s promptness and his personality is so refreshing!! We hung out with him our whole vacation upstairs at Altitudes! We had so much fun meeting him and invited him to come to our home in Florida! He’s a good man and we wish him a very prosperous life! He definitely deserves the best life can offer him! We’ve been here 3 times in the past 7 years! He’s the Best! Make sure to look for him as your Best Bartender on the Resort!!

Everything was amazing!! We got the presidential swim up suite and it came with 2 butlers. Olivia and Javon were phenomenal!!!! They made us feel sooo loved! Definitely made it worth spending more for their services. The food was awesome! They do a good job keeping up with the place! Dr Pepper would have been a sweet add but that's okay I'll talk to drpepper about that! The views were great too! Tamara and oniel were some amazing bar tenders!! ONIEL the private driver was awesome and so helpful!

Horrible!!! Worse resort DON’T waste your time or money!! First we arrived and after traveling since 2am we were ready to get settled in. Our room was not ready on time at the 3pm check in time. We traveled with a group and we were the only couple that didn’t have a room. Someone finally came out to get out 45 mins later after waiting. Secondly, our lights that night kept turning on automatically while we were sleeping so we had to keep getting up to turn them off. How frustrating it is when you can’t sleep after long day of traveling! Third, our safe in our room did not work properly so we couldn’t lock our viable things up. The safe wouldn’t lock, as we kept getting an error. The refrigerator kept going out also. You can tell our room needs work and the upkeep is being neglected. Fourth, we PAID for the exhale club. So We were promised a welcome gift in the room upon arrival on the travel itinerary it mentioned a welcome gift and champagne. We didn’t have that in our room, I had to mention this to Front desk. Then they eventually bought it to our room. Also, included in the exhale club, we were supposed to enjoy premium liquor. The resort bars ran out of the only two brands that we wanted to drink. One the second night they even mentioned they had to do a store run. It’s very unprofessional and upsetting to know as a guest You purchase a package and the resort is not up to par and can’t deliver what you want. An all inclusive resort should never run out of something guests were promised. Fifth issue we had was a constant noise in our room so we couldn’t sleep. Update: So we found out it was coming from the rooftop pool. Maintenance came to the room and had to turn a pump off so we could not hear the noise. Also, when there are events at night they are held in the lobby so you can’t sleep due to the loud music. It was not a smart idea to have entertainment and dj in lobby at night. We travel to relax and rest. And this vacation was the worse vacation my husband and I have experienced. And FYI the other people the group also had issues with different things so it wasn’t just us!

My partner and I have recently returned from celebrating her Birthday at Breathless Montego Bay resort, and aside from a little first night hiccup our vacation was positively amazing. The surrounding grounds are aesthetically beautiful, our dining experience equally so. However, what makes Breathless a resort that we intend on revisiting are the staffs, which are positively first-class (hard working with little or no reward or recognition). I could name all that we came in contact with. However, our butler lady Valerie and Kenroy, was simple amazing (their attention to details was truly exceptional) Lady Melisa (at the omelette stand) was an absolute joy each morning. Radalfi, ensured that our today was gonna be better than our yesterday. And now, Ranae our Guest Relation Manager, I cannot express just how outstanding she was, she made it her number one priority that my partner and I had the most memorable of experiences, she was Simple the BEST...Message to management, you guys are truly fortunate to have a Team of such high standards, so Please, Invest in them. They make the Difference.

There is no waiting to exhale here. From chocolate covered dancers, night nurse models, trapeze artists, crowned by good food, endless booze, clubs, silent disco…. Breathless… very apt name for stunning performances and djs that knew what party means lol. Go and experience and get your own private pics lolll

A Truly Unforgettable Stay! From start to finish, our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The resort is perfectly located, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The Jamaican food was out of this world — every bite was full of flavor and authenticity. I want to give huge shoutout to Bellboy Stephen, who went above and beyond to make sure we were always having a great time. His positive energy and dance moves were the highlight of the night. Bartender Keino at the Altitude Rooftop Bar, kept the good vibes flowing with perfectly mixed drinks and a welcoming attitude. We also had the pleasure of chatting with lifeguard Audley (Tony), whose stories about Jamaican culture and his younger days gave us a deeper appreciation for the island. But most of all, I want to recognize Radalfi and Demar, part of the hotel management team, for truly going the extra mile. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect and that we were having the best time of our lives. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel like family, not just guests. In fact, because of the incredible staff, we ended up extending our stay by an extra day — we simply didn’t want to leave! We left with full hearts, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this resort — we’ll definitely be back!

I stayed in this hotel resort recently. Loved it. Great staff. Very kind and attentive. No exceptions. It was a great facility. It was very charming. Felt like stepping back in time with very classic island decor. I heard that it was decorated by Ralph Lauren and I absolutely believe this to be true. Food was amazing. Staffed with Michelin star chefs. Shows every night. Beautiful beach, pool and water sports. Not the sort of place you go if you want to be rowdy.

I have never felt so relaxing and pleasant at the same time. I am in love with the round hill hotel and Villa. The food and beverage are enchanting it was a life time experience 😋

The Villa was spectacular, the food was good, but not great, service was very good, but staff was actually too intrusive. The point of a villa is privacy, yet they wouod just walk on the grounds and into the villa constantly, it was ridiculous. But most importantly, and the reason I took a star off, was they listed a couples massage as $300, then charged $300 per person. As someone who has had countless massages, I have NEVER had that happen. It was truly outrageous.

The moment you reach Round Hill, you feel the warmth and the lovely, relaxed vibe. The most charming people have been working here for years / decades and ensuring that guests feel at home. Every single person working here, is a role model for outstanding hospitality. Most beautiful property, with the best of rooms, villas, sports facilities and a gym with an unparalleled view. Just like other guests, we will be back here for sure. Lots of space to relax and to be active. Housekeeping, food, watersports team, all are the best of the best. Thanks a lot to Junior and all of the charming Round Hill family, for taking care of us and making us feel at home.

Generous size rooms and bathrooms. Fabulous villas (friends stayed in a few villas as we were there for a 90th bday celebration!). Amazing views. Expert, friendly and professional service from all staff members. Great walking trails. My fav was walking to the Spa. Beach front rooms and balconies are awesome. Beach and pool are beautiful. Jamaica is lush and beautiful and this is a perfect place to enjoy your resort time! And daily tea time is lovely! Not far from the Montego Bay airport. A bit expensive, but worth it. Fabulous for adults, family and group trips!

The villa 11 crew rocks! The service was superior and exceeded our expectations. They were kind, respectful and courteous our entire stay. My husband and I came for my birthday and we will definitely be back. This place is a gym, do the walking tour, our guide was amazing. Do the glass boat tour, the guide was amazing. This is my new fav place and all the staff were amazing people.

Great location. Very private and quiet resort. Granted we were here during low occupancy period with just 15 or so couples. No kids while we were there. Plenty activities. Great food. Very “old school” decadent hotel in a very good way. Owners are on the property to tend to any issues or needs. Looking forward to be back!

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. Very welcoming and inviting. They all introduced themselves to us and always remembered our names. I will of course recommend this to anyone who comes to visit Ocho Rios. The amenities were amazing as well. from the nightly dessert selections placed in our room, the paddle boards kayaks and sailboats, there were just so many fun things to enjoy. we were also able to stay for the Tuesday night meet and greet with all the staff and managers and an open bar, and then a very lovely dinner on the beach in a buffet format. There was also Thursday movie night which had a nice James Bond movie displayed on a large projector out on the beach. overall, if I could give this higher than five stars I would! It was the best resort I've ever stayed and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Such a delightful spot! Everything about the Jamaica Inn is wonderful, and the staff make it extra special. There is not a single person who didn’t go out of their way to make our holiday perfect, but we’d like to especially recognize Ashalene, Samantha and Patrick at the beach bar, with whom we spent many perfect mid day hours. 🇯🇲 Hello from the peaceful and tranquil beachfront resort of Jamaica Inn! 🥰 The purest definition of “disconnect”. With no televisions in the rooms, you are guaranteed to reconnect with nature, the sea, yourself and your partner if you bring one. Singles are certainly comfortable here as well! Classic and authentic in nature and decor, it feels like you’ve taken a step back in time to when things were “simple” and “unpolluted”. Let’s just say, I happy we made it apart of our “mini-moon” trip! Perfect for decompressing from the busiest of the wedding.

Favorite place in the world. I have been coming for 13 years now and although the dear people I met there are no longer with us, the memories will never end. Impossible to mention all the things I love about Jamaica Inn, here are just a few: « Welcome home » greeting upon coming in, veranda suite which feels like home, opening the shutters first thing in the morning to the beautiful light, walking barefoot across the lawn to the sandy beach to the warm water, « Blue mountain » coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, cocktail on the terrace under the stars with the sound of tree frogs… it’s the place where my soul feels at home and longs to be back. The only thing I wish for is the time-share option, so I could spend 2-3 months a year there 🤗

I must say this place is absolutely perfect!! Not a single complaint. The wife and I are frequent travelers. We travel several times a year. I will have to say that this place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We have stayed at huge all inclusives and luxury villas. But this place trumps all of them. We love how small and private it is. (Which explains why so many celebrities choose to stay here) The rooms are very clean with stunning views. The service is excellent. Staff know privacy and space. They don’t overwhelm you but are very attentive. Once you choose a place to relax on the beach and go for a swim, within minutes they set up your chairs with towels and linen. The food was delicious . The waiters know how to properly seat people with privacy and space in mind. All the staff are clean and professional. They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. The wife and I have been looking for a place where we can come to every 6 months for 5 days to reboot since our business is so demanding. We found it!!! I am super excited to become a familiar face and establish great relationships with the staffs. The Morrows Family has owned this place since the 50’s and you can tell what their vision is. To be a place of privacy, safety and most of all relaxation. I highly recommend this place. I am now a regular customer at The Jamaica Inn. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months!!!

The best hotel you will ever stay at. We are back for our 5th stay. We honeymooned here in 1982 and have returned 4 times since. Little has changed. I’ve traveled to the Caribbean many times, and unfortunately Dreams Rose Hall in Montego Bay had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Some of the female staff, in particular, were extremely rude. At the Rum Factory, the manager Tanya and the hostess Diamond saw us walking up, looked us up and down, whispered something to each other, laughed, and then proceeded to treat us rudely while we were simply looking at the menu. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Throughout the trip, there were several moments where I felt there was a level of racism from some of the female staff. On multiple occasions, we were left waiting for a drink order while staff served others around us without acknowledging us. Despite tipping and paying a lot of money to be there, we should never have been made to feel like a burden. It got so bad that we had to raise the issue with the F&B manager, Jean. He did an excellent job listening, validating our concerns, and going above and beyond to try and salvage the rest of our stay. I also want to point out that many of the male staff were consistently polite and welcoming, and the entire team at the Seaside Grill was fantastic. Their kindness really stood out in contrast to the poor treatment from certain others. Aside from the disappointing staff interactions, the resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are well-maintained, the buffet was amazing, and some of the restaurants we visited were excellent. The rooms, however, are a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. Overall, the resort has potential, but the service from certain female staff left such a negative impression that I cannot recommend it.

Check-in was scheduled for 4 pm, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready until 6 pm. To their credit, the hotel made up for this by offering us a complimentary late check-out (normally charged at about $50 USD per hour), which was appreciated. The facilities overall were clean and well maintained. However, the spa was missing a sauna and steam room, which was a bit disappointing. Food was mixed. The Italian restaurant was a highlight with very enjoyable meals. The buffet had a decent selection, but many items were served warm or even cold instead of hot, which took away from the experience. The restaurant staff were excellent — very friendly and often went above and beyond to accommodate requests, which really stood out. Entertainment was varied. The DJ played throughout, but the music selection could have covered a wider range of genres. On the other hand, the poolside entertainment was fantastic, and the lazy river/tube pool was a lot of fun — we ended up spending a full day just relaxing there. Rooms were decent and clean. The bathrooms felt a little dated but were well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some memorable highlights, though there are a few areas where the experience could be improved.

Our overall experience at Dreams Rose Hall was unfortunately mediocre, and certainly not worth the price for what is advertised as a 5-star Hyatt property. The hotel itself feels dated and in need of updates and general maintenance. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with unnecessary complications that set the tone for the stay. While some staff were friendly, many had poor attitudes, which made interactions inconsistent. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. At the buffet, it was warm on some days but mostly cold. For an all-inclusive, it was surprising and frustrating to find that many things came with an extra charge—cabanas, a simple glass of wine at dinner, or upgraded meals like steak, lobster, or lamb at the Rum Factory. The beach was also a letdown. It seemed man-made, with very little sand, extremely shallow water, and nothing like the classic white sand beaches you expect in Jamaica. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, but housekeeping was unreliable. Some days our room wouldn’t be cleaned until very late in the day, which was inconvenient. The one highlight of our stay was the coffee shop, which was by far the nicest area of the hotel and provided a consistently pleasant experience. In the end, I would not recommend Dreams Rose Hall. For the price, it falls far short of Hyatt standards and does not deliver a true 5-star experience. There are better options in Jamaica that offer higher value for the same or less cost.

This hotel does not align with the Hyatt Resort brand of excellence. Hyatt needs to take time to invest in upper echelon quality of aesthetics here. The lobby and the grounds overall are beautiful with breathtaking views of the golf course, beach and ocean. Customer service overall was good with a rapid response to an issue I encountered. The staff was predominantly engaging, upbeat and polite especially in the cafe and in the reception areas. However, room service was poor. It took 3 out of the 4 days of room use to receive service, evwn after speaking to our room butler. From what I understand from other members in our group that staggered into the hotel over the weekend, there were issues with turnover due to mismanagement of room capacity and guests. The food is 4/5, with the best being The Jerk Hut off the beach. The buffet can be hit or miss if you're looking to have good Jamaican food daily. I wasn't a fan of themed eating surrounding non-caribbean/Jamaican food, especially the Mediterranean night. The ackee/saltfish, callaloo, white rice, brown stew, curry chicken and porridge were a hit aside from the fresh fruits and veggies. The facilities are the not so good part in this experience. While the conference rooms were nice along with some ither areaa, the rooms and some other common areas were dilapidated and dated. Paint was mismatched or poorly applied in some areas. The walls need a good scrub down and repainting in the rooms so the white looks pristine. There were leaks likely due to extreme condensation from competing tropical outdoor temps and cool indoor temps. If there was a mold smell, it wasn't evident since air purifiying aroma misters were placed throughout the property. The smell was pleasant. There should be a service elevator to accommodate staff. Sharing the small elevators with guests and staff that had equipment and food was a challenge. The entertainment was fun and interactive: staff went above and beyond to ensure patrons had a good time. A positive side is the variety of amenities to enjoy all inclusively with dining, a cafe, pools, water activities, shops, seperate adult as well as family friendly spaces to enjoy for all. While this is a famly friendly resort, it was not run down with children. The noise level is average without the chaos that can sometimes ensue on resorts. It was overall a nice place to relax. I hope they take heed to the criticism and make improvements.

THE MAGIC HAS GONE I have been coming to what was the Hilton Rose Hall Resort for about 20 years and there was always a magic about the place. The staff were always amazing and would do anything to ensure your stay was as amazing as the last. I met my now wife at the hotel 15 years ago. I’ve been to the hotel approximately 20 times and this would have been my wife’s 6th time. We wanted to come back and celebrate our 15 year meet me anniversary in the place where it all began. Unfortunately we have been let down at every turn. The place is now clinical with no heart or magic. When we first arrived the staff were all hand on heart, welcome to Dreams but now, only 1 week in to a two week holiday the staff are all miserable and to be honest apart from trying to force feed you a time share you don’t want, we actually don’t know what half of them do. No one can answer a simple question and it feels like one rule for one and another for everyone else. We booked and paid for a cabana at the lazy river but other people were using the cabana’s without paying and nothing was done. The Three Palms used to be free as part of Hilton but now you have to pay. The charge should be $49 per person which is what we paid, only to find out others had paid $49 per couple. Overall we haven’t been made to feel welcome, we actually feel like people here just can’t be bothered with a smile. Now don’t get me wrong there are people here that do go above and beyond but not enough for you to feel like you’re welcome

A beautiful looking resort on the outside and in the lobby and places like that being refreshed. But the room we're in was definitely due for a refresh. Hopefully much of it is refreshed. I can give it a five if I ever come back. The only downside for me and I mean just for me is there's kids there and I am not a kid-friendly sort of person at the moment. You're having spent the whole lifetime raising children. I really do like the peace and quiet of just adults. If it's the same for you then don't come here cuz there are kids galore and AC to be having a great time. Lots of the parents seem to be having a great time too and I applaud that. The only place we were able to dine in our short stay ; because we had a delayed flight; Was the buffet downstairs. My wife and I both agreed that it was twice as good as the sandals resort at Royal Caribbean. People here seem a little more genuine than some of the workers over at the Royal Caribbean as well. This is based on a 12-hour stay and not a 7 and night stay at the RC.

I stayed at Dreams in August to spend time with friends who were migrating. The location is okay with decent views however apart from the day time pool entertainment and Waterpark which was good, the hotel is pretty boring. The club was pretty lame and we ended up having to entertain ourselves at night with our own games etc. I enjoyed sleeping on the beach though where it was cool during the day. We gas an amazing server who brought food and drinks throughout the course of the day. I found breakfast to be good at the buffet however outside of that eating arrangements sucked. Our first night we couldn't find anything sensible for dinner at the buffet and all the available restaurants closed to incoming guests at 9. Also a point to note, this hotel DOES NOT have a late night grill or snack bar. We basically went to bed hungry the first night. We only got to dine at the Rum factory once and it was a very long wait. The food and service there was immaculate that night. My biggest sore point for this resort is that they lack clarity and professionalism. Upon checking in, we were told that a small sum would be on hold on our accounts until the full payment went through because it was a weekend or something of that sort. On checking out we were told we had no charges. However upon going home I noticed they had taken the full payment for the stay from my account but there was an additional $200 USD on hold. I reached out to the hotel, they apologized on the phone and said indeed I have no charges and they will release the hold immediately. A week passed, it was not released. I called again they apologized and said it's released now. It was not released. I called again the following week... I was then told for the first time that it takes 14 days for the hold to be released. I contacted my bank who informed me that I could ask the resort to send an email proclaiming that I'm free of charges and they could release it from their end. I called back the hotel with this information I was transfered to a manager who said this would have to go through the accounting department. I asked her if she needs any information from me to put in the email she said no, she has all information from the reservation. The following day i got an email from the accounting department asking for my information so they could send off the email for my bank. I confirmed, to date, I have not received any further email and my money has not been released even though it has been over a month now. When I try calling I get disconnected or if I connect and lodge my complaint I'm placed on hold and no one comes back to the phone. I'm beyond infuriated as this has been very unacceptable and Dreams hotel is not being very accountable. All in all, I do not recommend this resort, totally a waste of your money.

A review on the service at dinner (MoBay Restaurant only) (Positives) A variety of foods, warm, tasty and flavoursome. Friendly, professional hardworking staff. Preference for MoBay restaurant instead of Negril (didn’t like there that much). Second night eating here. Good customer service. Clean, tidy, well presented and well lit dining area. (Improvements) Men’s toilet needs a baby change table Lack of fresh juices, (rather than from concentrated) Caribbean dishes, I feel need to be in its own section, rather than neighbouring another cuisine, just because of the lengthy queues / confusion when wanting to select this option only. Should be a mandatory requirement for all attending dinner guests to gel hands prior to eat / handling utensils. Queueing system on entering into restaurant needs to be better structured. I.e. those awaiting a table, once they have been given their room number / details need to be in one line. Those first entering and giving room details at desk, in a separate line. Drinks (juices) are from concentrated, high sugar, cheap, mass produced. Tavery Lugg (I think his name was!) was great! Fantastic service a polite young gentleman, thank you :-) x

Jordane from the Xamaica restaurant was very sweet! He really is a treasure for the resort, the other staff is like they dont want to be in the resort en like they hate their job and the customers. But Jordane was really sweet, kind and nice to us. We really liked his service. Thankyou Jordane for making our evening a lot better❤️

Ate at the Sumptuori restaurant. Treshana was our server. She was very helpful, courtois and professional. The chef, Jason, also came to the table to ensure everything was going okay. He explained the difference between regular sushi and the uramaki. Everything was amazing. The service was exceptional and the food was great. Definately a return visit is a must.

To celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday I decided to set up a moonlight dinner. To say it was amazing and memorable! The location and ambiance was breathtaking. Our sever Dyandra was very courteous and professional with a great sense of humor. Throughout our dinner,.Ingrid (the manager) continually. checked in with us to make sure things were going smoothly. At the end of our dinner they Ingrid and Dyandra sang happy birthday and presented my husband with a birthday cake. We rate this entire experience a 10 out of 10. We’d like to give a big Thank You to the entire Grand Palladium staff for our making our night so special!

Was served by Sherika In the Poseidon restaurant and she was amazing. Very attentive and really pleasant. Nothing was too much for her. Thanks Sherika for making our dining so effortless. Food here is delicious and freshly made. The fish and chips are a must. Definitely coming back

Tonight I went to dinner at Sumptuori. The meal came out nice and hot, food tasted delicious. Service from our waiter Damien was amazing. He was prompt with our food and removing our dishes and ensured our meal was perfect. Everything was so great here, I would come back every night. Thank you.

This was one of the nicest resorts we've ever stayed at. The entire resort is beautiful and spotless. The pool is massive and there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. There's also plenty of shade both in the pool and at the 2 private beaches. Take some good walking sandals as the resort is huge and you may be walking alot. They have shuttles rolling around all the time (or you can call for one) but we prefer to walk after eating at the buffet lol. The rooms are modern and updated. We never heard any outside noise while in our room at any time of the day. In the very few times we needed something (mostly bottled water, we drink alot of water) they delivered it within minutes of us calling. Las Brisas Beach is great for snorkeling, you can see lots of fish over near the rocks. The food at each restaurant tasted authentic, but the Indian place was our favorite. The sushi at the hibachi place was some of the best I'd ever eaten. Chef Jamie took wonderful care of us! Shanara at the Mexican place was the best server! The sports bar has ping pong, pool, and shuffleboard which we enjoyed. The coffee shop was a good place to go get a pastry and sit in the AC for a few. The iced coffee is awesome there. I had a sore throat and one of the ladies made me a concoction with tea and it helped instantly. There's endless entertainment and things to do throughout the day and night. We were there in the off season but you wouldn't have known it as they still had shows every night at the theater. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson show the most! During the day they have things like trivia and a bartending class you can attend. Fun, short things to do to take a break from the pool. We attended the bartending class with Mimi, Devar and Junior and we had a blast! Every bar is good and they'll make you any drink you want. All my favorite drinks were made by me requesting the bartender just pick something fruity and make it, I'm not picky! Go see Karaka at the swim up bar or Jevaun wherever he is bartending and you're sure to have a good time! If you've read this far BOOK THE RESORT you won't regret it!

Our stay has been amazing!!!! We are celebrating my mom's 64th birthday!! From the beautiful room, the shows, the food, our escort Holly, pool aqua aerobic activities led by Almondo and the massages at the SPA, thank you Monique, Mylenti and Maheel!!! You all made our visit to the SPA phenomenal!! The Xaymaca show was amazing!! Karaoke and the beach party were a lot of fun!!! All of the wait staff at Nyam, Don Pablo and the Rodizio were excellent!!! Even the team members that served in the shops around the property were very kind and helpful.

Great time! Fun pool activities. Upbeat staff always wanting you to have a good time. Beaches are beautiful with lots to see. Drinks are delicious. Carlyle at the pool bar is awesome! We also love Gary at the lobby bar!

This is a beautiful luxury resort. There are changes underway but it was not intrusive to our week there. We enjoyed the people, the many beaches and the many pools. There was plenty of tasty food to satisfy any diet. Beverages were also plentiful with delicious coffee to start the day and personalized cocktails to end it. 5 stars for sure.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Yanique Samuel, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service she provided. From the moment I arrived, Yanique was exceptionally courteous, attentive, and genuinely polite. She handled every request with professionalism and warmth, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. From getting out the van it was great customer service. Jason was very welcoming and helpful, along with Sarah-Lee. The highlight of my stay was Carlyle and Odean Lee, the we’re very welcoming, and humorous! I’ve spent most of my time with Carlyle and Odean because of their personalities.

Carla Coley from guest experience went above to ensure our experience here would be a great one. Because of her constant checking in on us to make sure we were ok we can truly say we lacked nothing. Apart form the grass in the beach, which hindered us from enjoying the beach, this was a fun experience. Should time and funds allow we will certainly be back.

The bartenders are absolutely amazing special mention to carlyle, rashawn, dwayne, ashantae, zidan, cornell, shevonee and a few others. They honestly are so welcoming and have amazing energy. Dont know what to drink ask for a surprise, they’ll never fail to produce something delicious. Another shoutout to the joshua and lamar. Honestly bring such a good energy and very fun to be around.

Nice hotel, staff was amazing, food was good. The spa was my favorite experience at this property. I didn't like that they tried to sell us wine on multiple occasions -at an all inclusive. You cant make a hibachi reservation in advance but when you get there, there are no availabilities. A good portion of the beach had seaweed so we had less area to swim.

From the moment we got to the property it was the beginning of an amazing vacation. The staff was engaging and welcoming. They greeted us with "welcome home" and made us feel at home. If you are looking for relaxation with your spouse you will find it here and don't need to leave the resort. Most of the staff are the friendliest we've encountered. I say most because there is always one person who is having a bad day. We will definitely come back and spend more time at this fabulous resort.

We went here for our holiday this year and omggg. I'm sooo happy we did, it was also my birthday as well so we did it up. Jamaica is amazing, the food, the people and this hotel was absolutely fantastic, it had everything you can think of. The restaurant were all good, very clean. They definitely go above and beyond. The room service, the house keepers, the bartenders and the entertainment was all excellent. I will definitely be back.

Every aspect of my stay was amazing, from the clean open beach area to a relaxing room. But what made this resort stand out to me the most is the Preferred Club Receptionist, Anika. She got us through the check in process fast and very friendly. As our time there went on, she made a point to interact with us when we walked through the lobby. One day she worked an extremely long shift and when we said good night, so was just as chipper as she was first thing in the morning. She was back the next am, and you would never would of know she was only gone a couple hours. She greats everyone with a warm genuine smile and makes a point to make people feel at home.

We had a wonderful time here. There were a few issues that made me rate it a 4 instead of 5. We went during the off season so they are doing renovations to the property, and of course the construction was right outside our room. We were livid, the noise was so loud and unbearable. We talked to concierge and I also put a scathing review in the Hyatt Inclusive app that night and they moved us to a nicer room on the Preferred side the next day. So, first day was a loss because we arrived around noon and had to wait until 3 to check in...which is standard with these resorts but we were so tired from the travel we just wanted to get settled in our room. The Preferred side was nice..the room was pretty much the same though with the exception of having a jacuzzi on the balcony. The ocean view was lovely. The pool was quiet on the Preferred side, but we were incredibly disappointed to find out they charge for the cabanas...$100-$350 a day! That's so crazy when we spent almost $6000 to stay there a week. The restaurants were good and the entertainment was decent. The only draw back to staying on the Preferred side is that there's a lot a walking back and forth to get to the main restaurants since it's 2 resorts together. Overall we did enjoy our stay and many of the staff were wonderful and made our stay more pleasant. They will drive you on the golf carts if you need it. Billy Love (15 year tenured employee) and Chevaughn were exceptional. We probably won't go back to Secrets though. There's just so many other resorts with better amenities and free cabanas on the beach and by the pool. We go to the Caribbean to relax and lounge by the pool and on the beach so that makes a difference to us. The spa was excellent though. And just a warning if you're thinking about getting married there...it literally rains at almost the same time every day. We saw several weddings get rained out. We went there during Jamaican Independence Day, so that was cool since they had a few celebrations on the property.

Review of St. James Montego Bay, Jamaica I recently stayed at St. James Montego Bay to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I’d like to share my honest experience. Arrival & Room: Upon arrival, it was raining heavily, and we waited about 45 minutes in reception before being directed to our room. As members, we had requested a birthday banner in advance, but unfortunately this was never honored despite several follow-ups. The room itself was in good condition with comfortable bedding, crisp linens, and a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. We also had a hot tub, which was a wonderful extra touch. However, we were shocked to discover two pairs of dirty underwear left in the shower. Given that we were told there were two housekeepers (day and night), this oversight was disappointing and concerning. Food & Dining: Food was available from morning until night, though most venues closed for two hours to prepare for dinner. As a foodie, I would rate the overall food about 4.5/10. The highlight was our rooftop dinner at Breathless, which I would rate five stars—it was by far the best dining experience at the resort, along with the jerk chicken truck (though wait times were long). The grills also had extended waits (25–30 minutes for chicken), which was surprising given that the resort was only about 50% occupied. Breakfast, however, was excellent with a wide buffet selection and welcoming service. Service & Staff: Service was inconsistent. While we enjoyed renting a cabana, there were several times we had to get up to get our own food and drinks. It’s important to note that, although gratuity is included, having cash for tipping made a noticeable difference in service quality. On one occasion at El Pato, the service was so poor and uncomfortable that we left without finishing our meal and did not return. The most concerning issue happened at the front desk. When checking in, staff asked my sisters and me if we were married. When we said yes, they followed up by asking if we were “married married,” and then questioned why we weren’t wearing wedding rings. This exchange was extremely inappropriate, uncomfortable, and left me feeling uneasy about both security and respect at the resort. This is something management should address immediately. Entertainment & Atmosphere: On a positive note, the entertainment options we experienced were enjoyable. We loved the Silent Disco and Bob Marley night—both had a great atmosphere, music, and energy. Overall: While there were some enjoyable aspects—the ocean view, rooftop dining, entertainment, and price point—there were too many missed opportunities for excellence. Between housekeeping oversights, inconsistent service, long food wait times, and especially the inappropriate questioning at the front desk, my experience fell short of expectations for such a special occasion. I will return to Montego Bay in the future, but moving forward, I plan to stay at Sandals to see if they can earn my loyalty.

The experiences we encountered during this trip was so ridiculous I would never step foot in Jamaica. I was so excited to finally experience Sandals since it was highly recommended. From start to finish the staff was HORRIBLE. We were ignored to the point when we asked for help or service at the pool we got big attitudes. One of the staff members told us “ we could get our own drinks “ even though she was going around being friendly and attending to everyone else. We were so turned off by the aggressive remarks that we didn’t ask for nothing. One of the members of the trip wanted to speak to a manager about the service we have been experiencing all weekend , that was a joke, her attitude was worse than her staff. We have been so polite and tried to just wing it but even to the last minute when getting on the bus to go back home from the resort one of the men, don’t recall his name had hazel eyes was putting us on the bus and checking us off loudly said Get on the bus let’s go. He said it so loudly I was so shocked. He seem annoyed and was so aggressive. The only staff member that was nice was a man named Ian and the bartender towards the end she felt so bad for us cause she was the only one that we would try and look for to ask for help. We gave her all the tips we could because it was a breath of fresh air to get a nice person in that place.

Lets me start with letting you guys know that my experience was during hurricane mellisa. From he first time stepping off the plane, 5 star experience sandals lounge with red stripe and red stripe light on tap. The staff all were overly amazing. Then the strorm hit wrecked the the place. At this point I would like to give them 7 stars. The way the staff took care of us during this storm not being able to get ahold of there own families while displaying smiles and comfort for us. I would like to make two huge shout outs to Vernon which I believe was the general manager stayed very professional and also went above in beyond keeping us updated and always accessible. Daneree which luckily happened to be our neighbor was so comforting, informative, genuine, a absolutely breathe of fresh air and again i repeat she was also a person who didnt know if her family was safe or still went out her way every chance she got to make sure we was good and tht includes the whole staff. All the days we wasnt able to fly out was complimentary which later I found out alot of places charged a distress rate ate 700 dollars but not sandals. They fed us everyday 3 meals one being oxtails and and another being surf and turf this is my first experience in Jamaica and sandals. Im here to say the best experience of customer experience I've ever saw. I strongly recommend every visit this resort its worth it. Ill definitely be booking with them again.

This was our first time traveling to Jamaica and visiting Sandals and we were EXTREMELY dissatisfied. We were not made aware that the hotel was under renovations which blocked several views that was promised in the lobby and restaurants. The room was okay - bed was super uncomfortable. I expected more for a honeymoon suite room. My boyfriend now fiancé planned a beautiful proposal on the beach and hired their photographer AND HE MISSED THE MONEY SHOT. The picture of him on his knee on the beach was not taken and the next day when we saw the pictures the staff and manager had big attitudes and we basically had to beg for them to comp us just $400. The proposal and photographer was hundreds of dollars more than that. They wasted several hours of our last night and morning “waiting for a manager” Christopher (one of the 3 managers we talked to) who still couldn’t do anything and had to escalate things more but it would take more time. Staff rude especially at the photo place - DO NOT GET KEVIN AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get managements attention. We sent an email to Vernon Johnson the General Manager in hopes to get compensation for the money my fiancé paid for the photographer. Doubt we’d get a response. I am an avid traveler and a travel agent. You are better off staying at a nicer resort where you can’t hear airplanes taking off every 30min.

We went on our honeymoon and I expected a lot more than what we received. First let's start with the room. It was nice sized and right on the beach with a great bathroom. Negatives about the room is the ventilation fan in the bathroom did not work. The AC does not go below 68 so during the day it can not keep up and the rooms feel very humid. Cools down ok at night. Then we also had the honeymoon package added which we did not get. Next the service was decent. Most of the bartenders were fairly rude and took awhile to get you a drink. As for restaurants we tried them all. Nothing really stuck out and really made us want to come back. Our favorite was Soy which is a Sushi bar restaurant but it also had the longest wait. One night almost waited 2 hours just for some soup and sashimi. Now for location it is fantastic, you are literally right on the beach and we spent most of our days in the ocean or longue by a pool until dinner time. Very relaxing and beautiful. I would go back but so upgrades are definitely needed

The room was beautiful, and so was the island. The fact that it is all-inclusive makes planning great and easy. But honestly, it was the people that made the vacation even better. Everyone we dealt with at the resort was so nice and friendly, and always accommodating. If we decide to do another Caribbean vacation, it will probably be with Sandals again!

We went to Montego Bay for our 25th anniversary and everything about the trip was amazing. I must first say that our butler Antonio was the best! He catered to our EVERY need. Not only was it our anniversary but it was also my husband’s birthday. Antonio went out of his way to set up our room with decorations and rose petals across the floor, bed and tub while we were on the beach. My only issue was the food. I truly didn’t like anything but the steak and Lobster.

I will start with negative. Humidity is off the charts. Beds could be softer. Need more trash cans setup. Now positives. Entertainment was off the charts. One name we remember is Super Mario he was incredible. Made you feel welcome and appreciated. To the gal that did omelettes she called me Santa Clause she was great. To the lady that did the pastry, coffee shop she was great. All front desk ladies very helpful. Candle light dinner for our 50th anniversary was memorable. Blue Mountain Coffee on my can’t say enough.

We just got back from Sandals Negril, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. The resort is absolutely beautiful — right on Seven Mile Beach with the most gorgeous turquoise water and sunsets that look like a painting. Everything about the place just feels peaceful, romantic, and perfectly relaxing. What truly made our trip unforgettable, though, was our incredible butler Orlando. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He reserved the best beach chairs for us every morning, surprised us with little treats and drinks throughout the day, and even set up the most romantic dinners. He somehow always knew what we needed before we even asked! Both butlers (Orlando and Gawayne) were warm, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. We felt completely spoiled the entire time — and honestly, we missed them as soon as we left! The food was delicious at every restaurant, the drinks were always flowing, and every single staff member we met was kind and welcoming. You can really tell that everyone there loves what they do.

Sandals Negril is a beautiful resort. The food is fantastic. Brava is by far the best place we have eaten so far. But honestly all tge food here is delicious. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. There is so much to do you literally don't need to leave the resort. Entertainment at Sandals Negril is amazing. I have been to other resorts and there is no comparison. Sky from the Entertainment Team has a fantastic voice. But all the performers are top notch.

My wife and I spent a week here and we enjoyed the relaxation and wonderful service we got all week. We enjoyed the great views of the ocean and the beautiful white beach that they raked every day! Big shoutout to AnnMarie who served us dinner at Barefoot by the Beach, she did a great job and made our dinner one of the best meals we had while there! Ashalee served us at Bayside and Perla and she had a fun personality that kept us laughing and entertained! She even brought us a coconut from her house so we could try fresh coconut water! She went way above and beyond for us! Roxanne at Crema was so sweet and friendly to us when we stop in at night for dessert. She always had a big smile and engaged in conversation while fixing dessert. The people of Sandals Negril make the resort what it is and I highly recommend staying at this property!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Sandals Negril last week. It was amazing! I highly recommend Sandals Negril! The staff is wonderful! Shout out to Orlando C. for his excellent service and making our trip even more special. He needs a raise! Orlando C, if you read this, we couldn't find you before we left. We had to cancel the cabanas because I wasn't feeling good our last day. You were amazing and we want to thank you so much for everything you did for us and making our trip special. ❤️ Vandam was super sweet and a great photographer. We bought mostly his pictures. Wilby was sweet as well. The server at Sundowner was great but we didn't get her name. A sweet girl singing in the main bathroom needs to be in the entertainment team and the other lady working the main bathrooms was very kind and sweet. We had a club room in the bamboo grove building and it was excellent. We had an amazing view and the tubs added to the room. I must admit I was eyeing the swimups below us. The beach is great! I will say they need a yogurt place like Beaches and better desserts for us sugarholics. 😂 Other shout outs are for the lady working Crema most days, Easton, the chef at our candlelight dinner (amazing chef), Nicardo at Barefoot and Sundowner, the server at our candlelight dinner and everyone, so amazing. We failed to get all the names so if we missed several, we are sorry. Everyone was great and made our trip so much better! Romaine the sales manager is wonderful as well! I recommend booking the candlelight dinner! Best meal ever! We hope to be back soon! 😘

I took off one star because of the food. Everything else was great. Kadane and Jermiane were our Butlers. They were both 5 stars. We stayed in the Sundowner One Bedroom. Resort is smaller than most but it was perfect for us.

Great trip , wonderful resort. Staff was beyond incredible. Great people , personal trainer was outstanding , hostesses were incredible. Especially Simone. Latoya our housekeeper. Super great. Sandals is my place !!

First time at Sandals and it was a terrific experience. I made quite a few people that I would call new friends, including staff! Asha-lee was so friendly and welcoming, she should be greating guests. A few more that deserve recognition include Dillion, Tyrese, Trevolon, and Daynia just to name a few!! And Cion was a wonderful help for me on a situation as well.

The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. I felt safe and the grounds were kept very clean. However, the lighting in the room needs improvement, so getting ready was a bit annoying and the rooms could do with some updates. The food was good though I only ate Jamaican food so not sure how the “international” food tastes. I will say that they could add an additional buffet and late night/ 24/7 food option as late night food was pretty limited. Additionally, there was a lot premium options to pay for which was weird since it’s an “all-inclusive resort.” Overall my friends and I had a good time.

This all-inclusive resort is overall good, though I expected it to be exceptional. If you’re looking for an international-style resort in Jamaica, this is the place. But if you’re hoping for a truly authentic Jamaican experience, it may fall short. We originally booked for the Jamaican feel, but were a bit disappointed—especially with the food. I’m not saying the food was bad, but it lacked authentic Jamaican flavors. Service was also noticeably slow almost all the time, which took away from the experience. The only restaurant I truly enjoyed was the buffet at Choicez—the steak there was to die for. On the other hand, the worst place we visited was the hibachi restaurant. The food wasn’t great, and while we were still eating, the waitress came and took my almost-full drink without saying a word. At that point, we stood up and left—definitely a horrible experience. Our balcony overlooked the family side (Ziva) even though we booked adults-only, which wasn’t ideal. For the price point, the bathroom and toilet also felt fairly average. That being said, several individuals truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and they deserve recognition: • Alicia, Malique, and Mark – always welcoming with a smile • Sheldon at the jerk hut • Elvis on the beach, for outstanding service • Terry-Ann and Tiana at concierge, both incredibly helpful • Jason, chef at Calypso • Anthony, our waiter at Fuzion • Tricia, Kemona, and Prittanya from the Playa Collection team • Jdarling at the cigar shop These individuals made our trip special despite some disappointments. Their service stood out and reminded us what true hospitality feels like.

The stay was overall good. We booked a swim up room and the views were great. We fairly enjoyed our pool daily. My favorite part of the trip was the hookah. Monique the assistant manager at the hookah stand made sure our hookah was full and we enjoyed it every bit. We were very grateful for her service. Also Malcome who works by the pool was also very generous and kind. He ensured our drinks were always full. As a girlie who always stays at the Hyatt this was one of the better resorts but it doesn’t beat the Hyatt Ziva in Cabo. I didn’t like that there were no options to upgrade wristbands for better liquor choices. We had to go off the resort to get a quality tequila the Jose Cuervo was giving us a headache. Still there are some things that can be improved. The room cleanliness can be a little better and the room service was a little slow but overall it was a decent stay. We had dinner at one of the restaurants and I want to highlight the lamb chops and lobster it was amazing. The driver the hotel assigned us to was Delano and he was amazing!! He took us all over Montego bay safely! Overall I would rate it a 8/10 I will be bringing my family back for Christmas.

Great location! The resort is very close to the airport and on a main thorofare. Beautiful facilities. The rooms were large but a little out dated. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. French restaurant had some personnel issues with those hosting on September 12, 2025. The hostesses had unpleasant dispositions and had rude facial expressions and comments. Extremely different experience with the staff at the buffet. The staff there were incredible. The servers and hostesses were friendly and pleasant. Met the chef who assisted with special meals as a member of our group had numerous allergies. Overall the experience was truly great. Don't miss out on the jerk restaurant and the nightly events!

Cons: I disagree with the 5-star rating. While the rooms are acceptable, they are extremely humid, and there was a strange smell coming from the AC vents. Additionally, the hallway carpets are filthy, showing clear signs that they haven't been replaced in quite some time. The food options were decent, but at every restaurant we visited, they were almost always out of something or missing ingredients. I also noticed that room service trays were left outside doors; for instance, a guest next to me left their tray out at night, and it was still there in the morning. While this may not be a concern for everyone, to me, it's a red flag—potentially indicating a roach problem. Lastly, the hallways leading to the rooms have an odd smell, and the lighting is quite dim. Pros: resort's outdoor areas are beautiful, and I spent most of my time there. I loved the beach, the pool, the swim-up bar, and the entertainment. The staff provided excellent service, showcasing great Jamaican hospitality. The spa is outstanding as well. I had a massage overlooking the beach, and it was amazing. The spa facilities are very clean, and the staff there is incredibly friendly. To sum it up, I would definitely stay here again. Personally, when I'm on vacation, I only use my hotel room for sleeping. However, if you prefer spending more time in your room or plan to stay for an extended period, I would not recommend it. For me, the beauty of the resort's outdoor spaces outweighed any drawbacks I noticed

I just came back last night from a 6-day stay at the Hyatt Zilara for my birthday. This would be my lowest rating, all-inclusive experience I've had. For reference, I've been to six. Rooms: They offered us a room upgrade upon checking in, which we were appreciative of! It was very spacious and overall nicely decorated, but beware of the lighting in some of the rooms, which was very, very dimly lit Food: Not a lot of quality options for pescatarians or vegans. The quality overall of the food was ehhhhh, and beware that this is labeled as an all-inclusive, yes, but there are lots of item options on the food and drink menu, that's an additional charge. eg certain reds, white, beers, shrimp, steak,etc The late-night options, 10 pm and later, had no fish options; room service included, and there is a $10 charge every time you order room service. Service: Some of the waitresses were so rude, especially when we were requesting additional items for our table, ex. ketchup or even another drink, NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT that they heard us, or you can see they are physically annoyed, but the request would eventually be done.....eventually I do want to recognize a few employees who were truly helpful and so friendly! **SAMANTHA**- BY THE POOL OR BEACH- Very nice & warm, always has a smile on her face, the first person that truly gave us good service. **ELVIS***- BY THE POOL OR BEACH MOST DAYS- exceptional service, went above & beyond to make us feel special each day we saw him. ***ANGELITA***- BY THE POOL- So nice and sweet, she made sure that we were always good on our days by the pool. The night of my Birthday, we paid for a decorated"Beach dinner" that ended up being on a Gazebo by the beach, no decor, etc. They were late with the pickup, gave no forewarning or update, and we had to keep requesting the front desk for an update ourselves. Also, at the end of the dinner, it turned out my BF paid for a birthday cake that the waiter forgot to bring out, and when she reminded him, the cake was then brought out, and my name was spelled incorrectly. The next day, my BF went to let them know about all that went wrong, and they did offer us half off on the dinner. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone in my circle.

The rooms were very dated . The first room we were in was musty and several things were broken. They were nice enough to move us to another room but that leaked when it rained, which was every day. The other down side is the persistent asking of what are you doing today which honestly got on our nerves. But other than those things, the pool was gorgeous , loved having access to each hotel, I DREAM about the breakfast porridge , the beach water was amazing minimal seaweed, and the good overall was very good!

I enjoyed my time at couples swept away except for a few things. Positives: The location was very nice, I really enjoyed being able to walk right on the long strip of the beach every single day. The food availability of food at almost all hours was great, I never felt rushed to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The health and wellness center was also great. A lot of equipment to choose from at the gym and many other athletic options to choose from. Negatives: The lack of lighting in the room. The only working lights in our room was the overhead lights on the bathroom vanity and the bedroom vanity. (and entrance/hallway). The bedside lights never worked and when we asked for it be resolved, nothing happened. The bathroom needed some obvious upgrading but it looks like they are in the process of doing that in some of the buildings. Our iron was also broken and leaking water (all over the suite that needed to be worn in a few hours) but they were able to replace that within 30 minutes. I'm also curious about the privacy of some of these rooms, the first room we had, all 3 walls facing the outside had shutters that you would need to open since there was little to no lights in the room. Overall I'm not sure if I would stay here again (not soon anyway) since it looks like they are in the process of doing some updates on the resort. Hopefully these issues are taken into consideration because I think it is a beautiful resort and the location is excellent as well.

I had an amazing experience at the resort. I got married there last week and everything was great. I especially appreciate the staff specifically the wedding staff (Rochelle and Desmont) who were very professional and accomodating. They made my day go so smooth and I'm grateful for that. The night entertain (I do not remember the band's name) but they were awesome and full of energy. The massages at the spa across the street was great and I usually hate massages. The makeup artist the day of my wedding did a fantastic job. I showed her my inspo photo and she did exactly what I asked for. The atomsphere is just relaxing and I honestly wish we would have booked more time there. I almost forgot to mention that the different varieties of food was great as well and I highly reccomend the private dinner on the beach. The beach in the daytime is absolutely breathtaking. We were extremely pleased with everything and may spend our 1st anniversary there.

Currently staying at Couples Swept Away, Room- Ok nothing special, clean comfortable bed. Very dated. Staff- Mostly friendly, especially if you tip them. (Even though it’s meant to be a tip free hotel.) Special mention to Al-Jay down at the swim up bar who is particularly rude to the English guests and won’t even speak to us. Food and Drinks- Fantastic range of drinks and beautiful cooked food. Particularly enjoyed the Jerk Chicken and the breakfast buffet. Entertainment - Very good standard, the resident band are brilliant especially when you’re stoned. Water sports - Good selection to keep you entertained. King Julian and his snorkelling trips are excellent. 🐠 Pools - Nice but not the cleanest. Beach - Absolutely beautiful, just wish the vendors would leave me to enjoy it in peace. Sports Complex - Everything you need for a decent workout. I should also mention that some staff at the hotel are constantly asking guests for money and we were approached a few times by staff asking if we go get them jerk or food from the all inclusive buffet. I feel like this is a problem with the hotel management not paying and feeding them well enough.

Overall, good all inclusive vacation resort if you can get it for less than $3k a week. We would go back if the price was right. We went during their low season so things were a bit different than normal. One of their four restaurants was closed, some nights there was no buffet option, and for about 2 hours every day there were no food options at all. There were lots of new people being trained too. Everything except the 2ish hour window with no food options at all makes lots of sense during the low season. The food was all good on average, a few things were great and a few things were duds. One annoying thing is that if a buffet was out of something, it didn't appear as though they ever replenished it; out of 7 days I only actually saw bacon or their "famous" banana stuffed French toast twice. Most of the restaurant staff were cheery and attentive, some seemed very new to serving though. Also seemingly because it was low season, one of the beach bars was closed but the other two were more than capable of handling the low number of guests at the resort at the time. Drinks were good and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. Bars also had some "top shelf" options. The bartenders mostly seemed a bit grumpy and annoyed when I asked for for drinks other than beer. The room we rented, an ocean view veranda, had a great layout, had a great patio, a great view, and nice amenities like a fridge, safe, plenty of drawers and hanging space. Housekeeping was perfect including daily water carafe and ice bucket fills. We did have to move rooms late in our vacation because our room literally flooded (it wasn't anything we did) but front desk staff did all they could moving us to an "upgraded" beachfront room and even having a bellman move out luggage for us. That beachfront room however was a bit rundown. There was very little light in the room and there was no glass in the windows, just shutters which barely kept the heat and humidity out. The AC could not keep up. We only need the room for one night so we dealt with it. I would never book a room without real windows. The resort grounds were beautiful and very well maintained including the lush area between the rooms and the beach. There are plenty of entertainment activities beyond lounging on the beach from free fitness classes throughout the day, beach volleyball games, Cornhole tournaments, paddle boards, water bikes, snorkeling excursion (yes, free!), a 2.5 hour catamaran excursion ending with a sunset view (also free but tips for the subcontracted crew were solicited), to a piano bar, dance lessons, dj parties, and a beach bonfire.

Our second visit to CSA. T he beach & clear water cannot be beat! It was off-season so the resort was less crowded-which was a bonus. Although with this bonus came less amenities as a restaurant & bars were closed. It's a trade-off based on what you like. The staff were somewhat less helpful & friendly than our priorities stay, which was disappointing. The food at Feathers, Lemongrass and the ala carte nights at The Palms were impeccable!

I recently stayed at a Couples Swept Away Resort and from the moment I landed, the experience was full of delightful surprises. I had booked a travel package that included airport transfers, and to my amazement, the resort even had a VIP lounge at the airport. It featured a private air-conditioned space, clean restrooms, complimentary drinks, and snacks—such a thoughtful touch to start the trip. The driver and lounge staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 🏖️ First Impressions at the Resort Upon arrival, the reception team greeted us with warm smiles and a glass of champagne. Their kindness and professionalism set the tone for the entire stay. 🛏️ Room Our room matched the photos on the website perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The minibar could be restocked daily, and we could even request bottles of alcoholic beverages. Housekeeping was exceptional—staff checked in even during the evening to see if we needed anything. 🍽️ Dining Experience There were two restaurants available for reservation (easily booked through reception), and I visited three in total. Each one offered beautifully plated, delicious meals with thoughtfully curated menus. Every restaurant had a waiting bar where you could enjoy a drink before dinner, and the staff were consistently warm and attentive. 🥗 Buffet & Specialty Dining The buffet was impressive—breakfast, lunch, and dinner featured fresh, varied selections. Staff were always nearby, making sure everything ran smoothly. The vegetarian and seafood restaurant had a smaller menu, but everything was fresh and flavorful. Think salads, wraps, sweet potato chips with tasty dips—simple but satisfying. The 24-hour restaurant was a lifesaver, serving burgers, hot dogs, tacos, nachos, and more. Everything was consistently delicious. 🏊‍♀️ Pools & Beach The resort has two pools, both great, though only one has a swim-up bar. The beach was absolutely stunning—calm, warm turquoise waters, soft sand, and even starfish sightings. Plenty of umbrellas and palm trees provided shade. 🎶 Entertainment The Piano Bar offered fun nightly entertainment, including a fantastic singer who was both talented and charming. After the show, the nightclub opened—and I loved it. The DJ was phenomenal (shoutout to DJ Wifi!) and even played some of our song requests. The club itself was beautifully decorated with great lighting and a lively vibe. 💬 Final Thoughts I’ve stayed at many resorts, but this one truly stood out. The service, the food, the beach—it was all top-notch. I absolutely loved my time here. ⚠️ Two Downsides 1. There was no entertainment team or music at the pool during the day, which would’ve added a fun, dance-friendly atmosphere. 2. Authentic Jamaican cuisine was only offered on Friday nights. That felt disappointing, especially considering we were in Jamaica. I believe the resort should include at least one traditional Jamaican dish in the daily buffet. I even left the resort twice just to enjoy local food elsewhere. 🌟 Overall Rating: 9/10 Would I return? Absolutely. But I’d love to see a bit more Jamaican 🇯🇲 flavor infused into the daily experience.

JUST OKAY, EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET....... Overall it was just okay. My husband and I visited Couples Swept Away for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We are both in our mid 20s (definitely the youngest couple there) and were looking for a good mix of romance, relaxation, and fun. There were some things we liked but a lot more that we didn't. Food: Food matters A LOT to us, so to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We thought the buffet options were limited and average at best. Plated dinners were better but required a reservation. Being at a Jamaican all-inclusive resort, we thought that meant access to unlimited beef patties, but nope. With 4 spots to eat on the resort, there was only 1 location that served beef/ chicken patties. The restaurant’s listed opening time was 12pm, but if you were not hanging around to see when the staff started taking orders (~11am), you were not getting a patty until the next day. Weather: We visited first week of July, allegedly not the rainy season. I know that you can’t control the weather but it rained every single day around 1pm and didn’t stop until around 5pm which significantly cut quality beach time. Temps were high 80s and nice other than the seemingly constant and scheduled rain. Heavy rain clouds were always looming. Beach: Beautiful, very clean, no trash, no seaweed. Vendors heckled until day 3. It was quiet most of the time except for construction on a beachfront unit and power washing of the walkways. There were NEVER clean towels available, you had to bring them from your room. The chairs were dirty and old. There were only a few umbrellas to sit under and they were quickly taken. Room: Our room was clean and ready for us, we did not have to wait to check in. The room was serviced almost every time we left (2x/day). We always had clean towels, bed made, and a full water pitcher. The water pressure in both the shower and sink was very weak and made showering, washing hands, and washing hair very difficult and time consuming. Shower has no door and entire floor gets wet with each shower. Amenities: Spa was great 10/10, we got the couples massage. Since it rained every single day, we were looking for things to do indoors but indoor activities were lacking. Racquetball courts were closed for renovation and squash ball equipment did not work. Only option was to have another mid meal... The evening events were “dinner and a show” format, usually a singer or a band. One night there was a bonfire on the beach but we didn't attend because of the mosquitos. Night activities included karaoke and dance parties but with the average couple’s age being 45+, my husband and I found it pretty awkward. This is definitely not a party resort. Pools closed at 10pm. Staff: Everyone was amazing. Very friendly and attentive always. Do we regret visiting Jamaica? No, but would we stay at Couples Swept Away again? Also no. We feel as though our money would have gone a lot further at a comparable all-inclusive in Cancun.

Very luxurious and premium all inclusive resort. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and will be back! This is an all butler Sandals property and Omar and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. You don't have to lift a finger if you don't want to. Hospitality is the name of the game at this resort! The staff know you by your name and really care about your stay. The food and entertainment is also top notch! Our room was very clean and tidy, not to mention comfortable! I love the overall layout of the resort as well as the overall size of the resort. It's a smaller resort, but it's very well done. A must stay!!!

My spouse and I recently returned for a stay at the Sandals Royal Plantation. This resort is such an incredible place to rest & relax. It’s a boutique-style experience that we love! The service here is exceptional! Every team member we encountered was kind, attentive, & genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The service feels like it comes straight from the heart. A special thank you to General Manager Omar Robinson. It's not every day you meet a GM who takes the time to greet guests by name. You will feel seen & valued during your stay! That personal touch adds so much to the experience, & is a big part of why we keep coming back. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect to reconnect, this is the place! We look forward to returning.

Our first visit and definitely not our last. Tamara and Carlos are phenomenal butlers! Could not ask for better. All the restaurants were exquisite and food was amazing. Water sports crew very helpful and efficient. All staff were always smiling and pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place, this is it. PS - make sure to sign up for the Club Mobay departure lounge.

Quiet, beautiful, and the best service. Gorgeous beaches, there isn't anything bad I can say about this place. Omar the GM knows every guest by name and greets you around the grounds daily. My butlers went out of their way to make sure we didn't lift a finger the whole week. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Firstly apologies for taking so long to write a review as we stayed in September 2024, I am sure I wrote one but can not find it, so here goes. This was not just a holiday for us. We actually got married at the resort, just the two of us for an intimate wedding. We had a few concerns before arriving as our experience of the Sandals UK call centre was not the greatest. However, these were taken care of before arriving following the intervention of Omar from the hotel, who assured us that it would be perfect for us. Everything was just amazing. We were looked after by everyone at the hotel and our wedding day was just perfect. The hotel is beautiful, and the location with its two cosy beaches gave us a sense of being in an Agatha Christie novel, small enough to feel like you are an invited guest to a private resort. Whilst we ventured out to the other resorts nearby, we were always so glad to return to our hotel where the food and services were so much better. Our perfect days were a swim in the sea before breakfast. We ate a relaxed breakfast in the outside area overlooking the sea, followed by a on the beach, with drinks being served non-stop at our beds, a bit of paddle boarding, and just chilling. For us, the peaceful surroundings, no loud music, and well behaved fellow guests made the experience one to remember. We have just booked to come back again (September 2025) for our 1st anniversary and look forward to seeing Omar and his crew again.

Had a wonderful time at Sandals Royal Plantation. Omar, the GM was so welcoming and our butler Anthony was amazing! This is a small quaint resort that doesn’t have the lively crowd of the other resorts. So if you truly want to relax, Sandals Royal Plantation should be on your radar.

We enjoyed every minute of our anniversary trip here. The staff from the managers to the cooks were all courteous and amazing. They made us feel at home as if we were family. Marvin, Omar and the rest of the staff made sure we didn't miss a moment of our wonderful experience. Every need was taken care of to the smallest detail. We will be coming back to this location to visit our new found family!

I recently had the pleasure of spending four nights at The Caves in Negril, and I can confidently say that it ranks among the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the incredible service to the breathtaking surroundings, every detail was designed to provide a truly memorable getaway. The service at The Caves is exceptional. The staff are incredibly attentive and know just when to step in, but also respect your space, making you feel like you are part of the family rather than just a guest. This personal touch really sets the tone for the entire experience. The vibe of the hotel is wonderfully laid-back and charming, and with the low room density, it feels as though you have the entire place to yourself, which is rare for a resort of this caliber. The food at The Caves was nothing short of spectacular. Every meal was delicious, and the variety of options available ensures that there is something for everyone. The soups, in particular, were a highlight for me. I still find myself daydreaming about them. If you’re a food lover, you will not be disappointed by the culinary offerings here. The setting of the hotel is truly remarkable. The cliffs overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean provide a sense of tranquility and beauty that is hard to match. The local area has its own unique charm, adding to the authentic experience of staying at The Caves. As a non-drinker, I was pleased to find that the bartenders had no trouble creating delightful non-alcoholic cocktails. However, a small suggestion would be to offer more zero-sugar sodas, as they were difficult to find during our stay. While this is a minor issue, it would be a nice addition for those who prefer sugar-free beverages. I would highly recommend The Caves to anyone looking for a luxurious and intimate getaway. The combination of outstanding service, incredible food, stunning views, and the peaceful ambiance makes it a perfect destination for a relaxing retreat.

Stacey, Osteena, Randy, Omar, and pretty much all the staff at The Caves did an outstanding job. My husband and I felt pampered during our stay. We did not have to ask for things because it was like they could read our minds and were a step ahead to make us feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I love that The Caves is big enough for you to feel that you have the place to yourself but small enough to make you feel like you're not just a number like the big-touristy resorts. The Cave dinner is a must! It was magical and worth every penny! We had the massages as well and they were amazing. Without a doubt, the Caves will have us coming back! With Love, Lina

We were there for 3 nights a few weeks ago for my sisters birthday and it was incredible! This was a last minute add on to our trip and I am so so thankful I splurged for it as the relaxation was just what I needed. The price is a bit higher than other all inclusive stays but on my opinion the privacy and limited guest you get for the cost is a huge benefit as neither she nor I are fans of big touristy places. The limited rooms here (something like only 10) made the entire experience feel more personal. The staff was great and went out of their way to make my sister feel special for her birthday and I absolutely plan to go back for my next milestone birthday or engagement or really whatever occasion I can use to justify it. All the employees we encountered were helpful and friendly but also stayed out of your way (unlike some places I’ve been where they tend to hover) unless needed. Stacy for breakfast and lunch is amazing, really worth her weight in gold and incredibly friendly and relatable. If we could we’d have her pack up a platter of banana pancakes and hope on a plane to come visit us. The rest of the food was delicious as well. Due to the last minute booking on my part we ended up having to switch rooms after the first night and we were equally happy in both of them. The views are amazing and the beds cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated and I think some of the negative reviews called the rooms “rustic” which I can see but for the vibe and location that is perfectly fitting. This isn’t a snooty boutique type hotel with the latest smart TVs and glitz and glam but a local Caribbean focus on who you are with type of place that encourages visitors to enjoy the crystal blue waters, breathtaking views, and relaxing. Both rooms we had were more than adequate and for our needs and expectations perfectly. I could go on and on but at the end of the day I’ll live it with at I will 100 percent be back. Any of you looking at reviews to make a decision, go for it! Just make sure there is a room left open for me!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon.. Hands down the best food I have ever had so fresh and flavorful. The service was top notch all the staff were so nice and helpful. What to say about the location... Breath taking... To the sunsets or just the sounds of the waves crashing in the caves all day and night was so peaceful and relaxing. I never thought I could actually be that relaxed in my life and it happened here... I want to give a big shout out to some of the staff Stacey she was so sweet and gave good advice on trying all the food and I don't regret taking that advice! Glenn was amazing he gave us the best service my husband loves the drinks he said Glenn makes them the best! Glenn and Zoom gave us amazing service on our private caves dinners. If you can do the caves dinner don't pass it up it's an amazing experience and beautiful setting the way they set everything up. ❤️❤️ We definitely are planning another trip back we decided that less then 1 day of being on the property and it only got better the more days we stayed...

Wow, just wow. We were there in June for 3 nights. The food was so good. The staff so kind, informative and willing to talk. This place was truly relaxation. The views were beautiful. It is an all inclusive with set meals and times. The food was 5 stars. The property and rooms could use some upkeep, but that is so small. There was Ac in the rooms which with turn down service windows were closed and AC on for a great night sleep. Waking up to incredible views. If you are looking to relax, enjoy your surroundings, eat good food this is the place for you. If you are looking for loud music, activities non stop this would not be the place for you. My soul was recharged after staying. Enjoy

I just say enough about all of the staff and I’m so sorry if I didn’t mention you by name.. all of you were so so nice and made us feel like family 🥹you all made our stay in your beautiful country so special. I just can’t get over the food.. the chefs are all amazing four stars across the board. Karen you have a family that you manage.. the way the interact and are truly happy doing what they do. I can’t lie, I shed a tear leaving. My wife and I will be back.. one life, one love, respect to you all. ❤️😔

This was the best resort we have been to and we truly can't wait to visit again! The people we met in Negril and at the Caves were each welcoming, friendly, and made you feel right at home upon arrival. My wife is a vegetarian and tends to be difficult to cook for. I am easier and eat all foods, but have previously had trouble with all inclusive resorts. Every single meal prepared for us by the Caves was OUTSTANDING, among the best food we have ever eaten. So good that we have been trying to replicate their dishes and style of cooking at home. The views at the Caves are among the best I can imagine, definitely the best water views we have experienced. There are at least 5 or 6 platforms of various heights along the cliffs to jump into the beautiful turquoise blue ocean water below. Sometimes we would order our drink, walk 15 feet to the cliff ledge platform, jump in, and by the time we climbed the stairs back up the drinks were ready from the blender. There are several caves that you can relax or dine in. We highly recommend the cave dinner, it's an additional fee, but you dine for hours at sunset by candlelight in a gorgeous cave as water crashes into the rocks. Stunningly serene. You can actually hear the water crashing on the rocks at night which makes for some of the coolest ambience we've experienced. We did a couples' massage and that was pretty epic as well, beautiful all around. The resort is quiet, with just 11 rooms for guests to stay in there aren't a lot of people around. Theres almost always some gentle reggae tunes in the distance during the day, which we enjoyed. Our room was a 2 story 2 bedroom cabana with outdoor shower and upstairs balcony overlooking the water. Incredible. A few other rooms locked nice too, each seems unique. This resort connects natural beauty of Negril and the unique caves and cliffs landscape with the pathways you'll walk through. Be sure to pet and feed the kitty, smell the flowers, and enjoy the lizards. If you can't climb stairs or ladders very well, and want a traditional beach resort, this probably isn't the resort for you. We did take an inexpensive cab to the beach nearby and crafts market, so that's an easy option if you want to venture off the resort. The resort staff arranged that for us to see some of Negril. But honestly the Caves resort was so incredibly nice (and we didn't want to miss their lunch) we only stayed at the beach for an hour or so to cool off from the market before heading back to the Caves for food and snorkeling. Can't wait to visit again!

The hotel was a little dated. Entertainment was light, but overall, a good vacation spot.

Pros: The lobby and inside resort areas are really nice. The restaurants are very nicely decorated and the food is delicious. The service was amazing. Con: the rooms leave a lot to be desired. They look just like the old Renaissance Jamaica Grand rooms with a fresh coat of paint,molding, mirrors and a new nightstand. Nothing special at all. I love luxury and just wish the rooms were better.

We chose Moon Palace Jamaica to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary — what should’ve been a dream trip turned out to be a major disappointment. From the moment we arrived, before even checking in, we were approached and pressured about attending a sales pitch for their membership program. The team kept pushing, using emotional tactics, guilt-tripping us. During the presentation, they showed us the best rooms and promised upgrades if we signed up. After hours of negotiation and an entire day wasted, we finally agreed to a minor membership, believing we could start using the benefits immediately. But that turned out to be untrue — the membership starts right away, yet none of the benefits can be used until your next trip! When we tried to sort it out, we were sent from team to team, each one passing us along without resolving anything. To be fair, the restaurant staff were lovely and tried their best. The food was average overall, though Momo and the main breakfast restaurant stood out. Unfortunately, the Palace Elite sales team ruined the experience. They were deceptive, manipulative, and only focused on money — not guests’ enjoyment or relaxation. Bottom line: Stay clear of the sales pitch. Say no and stick to it. It’s a shame that what could’ve been a beautiful anniversary trip was overshadowed by their aggressive and dishonest tactics

I believe that when things are better/good we must talk about them they same as we do when things are bad. So I'm happy to state that despite the initial disappointment on the day we checked in, there have been some awesome experiences and persons I have the joy of experiencing and meeting. 1. Davarone - from the Security team for his assistance in securing parking after we were driving up and down, here and there for parking upon our arrival. Unlike the others who sent us all over to find parking without listening that there was none in the numerous designated parking places, Davarone called a manager to seek a solution.....all this whilst it was raining. 30 minutes of distress melted away after he stopped, listened and sought intervention. 2. Stacy Duncan - PRO, who is a true embodiment of a public relations practitioner. She called to apologized about the lengthy lines at check-in upon our arrival, the long time it took for us to actually get a room amongst other things. She should be a detective (lol)..I recommend that you link her when you get there. 3. Shelly and all the wait staff in the Buccaneers restaurant, who were pleasant, truly pleasant, not the pretentious courtesy as is normally given. 4. Room service staff for daily check-ins to see if we needed anything. My favourites 1. Jerk Hut - the jerk chicken 'sell off' as we say in Jamaica. The bread pudding served at the jerk hut was really good. 2. Boulangerie Cafe - HOT Coffee and HOT ginger tea plus wide assortment of pastries. Nice little section to just sit and chat whilst having coffee or tea. #myfavouritespot! 3. Oxtail - well done and seasoned. 4. Omelets one to orders 5. The views from all angels were breaktaking 6. There are numerous activities showing that the needs of every visitor is taken into consideration 7. Family friendly - everyone, young, old and in are welcome and have things to do. 8. Gym for those who want to remain fit and buff whilst on vacation! Check out Moon Palace's Dolpin Cove Persons who complain about the noise may not get aware that majority of the noise is from the boat and other parties held across the other side of the hotel and is not within the hotel's control.

I have been here before with my family in 2022 and now it’s 2025 and it’s still the same in a good way because we were going to a dolphin cage and it was doing crazy moves! And me and my brother were on this thing where we lay down and try not to fall off. It Was Fun!

My husband and I had a memorable experience at the spa, thanks to Sofia and Rachael. The level of service they provided was top notch. It made up for a few issues we had, primarily with the room and management of the main dining room when large groups were present. PR was receptive to the feedback we provided so we look forward to those things being ironed out by the next time we visit.

I travel often and by far this has been the worst experience. I thank the staff for keeping us safe during the storm and I am grateful that we had food, shelter and electricity. However, the company needs to invest in some upgrades. The rooms were not very clean and the entire hotel smelled of mildew. In our 4 day stay before the hurricane housekeeping did not replace our washcloths, only the towels and made up the bed one of those days. We ran out of toilet paper and requested additional which we waited 2 hours for before calling back to let them know we still hadn’t received it for them to then bring us some. There were a few staff members that were great and accommodating. The entertainment staff all deserve a raise! I can’t name them all but Paris, Marissa, Adrian and Andrew kept the guests entertained even though they were unsure of the safety of their families and for that I am grateful. They played games with the children and kept a smile on their faces. The store that the hotel has in the lobby of the hotel is extremely overpriced and the manager (Hispanic man) was very smug and lied to my face about doing a refund. My mother asked his staff member how much credit she had left to use and she informed her she was not able to see the credit amount. She then proceeded to check her out to which my mother told her if she didn’t have enough she wanted to take something off. His staff member told her she had to go to the front desk for the credit balance and then come back but when we came back the manager told her there were no refunds. He was dismissive to the fact that the girl told her she could return it if she didn’t have enough even though the girl admitted to telling us that. We had to get the hotel manager involved to issue the refund he initially told us his system Would not allow him to issue the refund. The fact of the matter was if there were no refunds the girl should have informed her to go check her balance before proceeding to check her out. My main complaint was the lack of communication during the storm. There were a few bulletins about sheltering and also the meeting that was held in regards to the storm beforehand. Then there was a bulletin about the airports reopening but while we were sheltering everything came word of mouth. Where we would be eating and what time felt like a game of telephone as well as when we were allowed up to our rooms. There was also a lack of preparation for us to go back to our rooms from the shelter. We had to sleep on just a sheet due to us being told to bring our pillows down to the shelter and also bringing down the comforters due to it being cold in there. We were told we would not have been expected to take the dirty linen back up to our rooms. The situation with dinner on the second day of the sheltering was distasteful. Each area had a certain color armband that was associated with the time we were to eat. Our time was at 6:45 which is when my family came upstairs. They were late with serving the food which we were unaware of but as my color was standing in line the staff was trying to make us let the color that was suppose to eat at 5:45 move in front of us. They wanted us to get out of the line and when we were trying to understand why Lili from the palace foundation took it upon herself to withhold the plates to hand to those with the armbands in the 1st group. Skipping around our group of children who were waiting to eat which caused an unnecessary confrontation since we were all mixed into line. Causing a delay in everyone getting food. It wasn’t until someone stated they were going to write a review did she allow the children to get food. Also I am not aware of the food storage situation but there were on three different occasions that I bit into something that was spoiled. The pineapples, a chicken wing, fish and the roasted tomatoes. The staff did a speedy job of fixing the repairs needed both inside and outside of the hotel for us to continue with the feeling of vacation but the additional fees and the flight cancellations still loomed over us each day.

The room was okay. Appreciated the upgrade to a room with balcony and ocean view. The wristband keys were very convenient. The food though needs alot of work. Most of the meat was salty. Could feel my blood pressure rising and my tongue burning. Oxtail, curry goat, stew chicken, ackee and saltfish SALT!!! The pastries and vegetables were good though. The amenities for kids were great but some of the arcade games malfunctioned while i was there and disrupted the fun. The slide pool is too shallow. Or probably they should not allow adults on it because as soon as i came out. I hit the bottom and scraped my butt.

This has been our resort of choice for several years. The food is magnificent and the location is ideal. The recent upgrades have been appreciated. However the quality of the staff has steadily been declining. The service was disappointing and frankly, the management seems cavalier about it. There will always be stand outs. Talent and conscientiousness speak for themselves. But outside of that, attention to training is key. There has been a steep decline in that department. The room service staff is always top notch. But good luck with housekeeping, grounds personnel and the regular wait staff. I hope that an intervention can be run before the experiences are totally ruined by a lack of kindness, plain rudeness and a generalized spirit of unwillingness. No one is asking for colonial genuflecting, just basic customer service training.

During our honeymoon in Montego Bay, we spent a day at Half Moon Resort, and it was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the kindest hospitality and surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery. The resort is stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like paradise. We enjoyed every minute of our day pass experience. The water was crystal clear and calm, and we practically had the beach to ourselves. It was so relaxing and romantic — the perfect escape for newlyweds. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Half Moon Resort is luxury, tranquility, and beauty all in one. Whether you’re staying overnight or visiting on a day pass, it’s a must-visit spot in Montego Bay. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and even more in love. ❤️

My absolute favourite hotel in Montego Bay! The property is quite vast and serene. I usually stay by Founders Cove and I enjoy the beach, it always feels like it’s my private beach. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and I’ve always enjoyed the food although it’s a little pricey (at least it’s been consistently good). Despite being right along a main road I’ve never had any issues with noise. It’s a great place for a little romantic getaway or even for a personal escape from daily life

We did not stay at the Hotel itself but visited the SPA. The ladies at the SPA desk were so helpful and friendly with booking us and explaining everything to us. This SPA was a nice experience with being able to visit the sauna/steam room before our massage. The only thing that threw me off was during the massage there was no music going..typically there is like a rain sound going or something like that,

This was our first time at Half Moon, and everything about the experience was impeccable. The property is beautifully maintained, the complimentary bikes were a fun and easy way to get around, and every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and kind. A special thank you to Joy, David, Claudio, and the entire culinary team at Founder's Cove—every meal was delicious and unforgettable. I had a few special Jamaican food requests and dietary restrictions, and they made it all happen with such care and generosity. I couldn't be more grateful. Founder's Cove was wonderful, despite what some reviews have stated online. We’re already dreaming about our return. Half Moon is truly something special.

We were placed at this hotel for one night by Virgin Atlantic due to an 18-hour flight delay, and I can only say that the resort is absolutely incredible. The grounds are vast, spotless, and truly breathtaking. We arrived quite late, and during check-in, the receptionist had us sign a bike waiver. My husband and I, exhausted from the long journey, didn’t understand why this was necessary and signed it, assuming we wouldn’t need the bikes. However, after exploring the resort, we quickly realised that the grounds are so large that using a bike is essential to getting around. It would have been helpful for the receptionist to explain this to us, as it made the bikes vital for getting from one place to another. Without them, it would have taken at least 30 minutes to walk to the lobby for dinner. Upon being driven to our room by a hotel attendant in a buggy (again, because of how large the grounds are), the experience took a bit of a turn. The attendant didn’t communicate with us at all and drove extremely fast, almost as though he were annoyed by our late arrival due to the flight delay. This was disappointing, especially since we had no idea where we were going. When we arrived at our suite (the Eclipse Room, which was a lovely gesture), we had to go upstairs, but the attendant just dropped us off at the side and didn’t offer to help with our luggage. While we’re not entitled guests, it would have been a nice touch for him to offer assistance, especially since it seemed like an oversight on his part. He didn’t even say goodbye, which made me assume his shift was over, but regardless, the lack of interaction was a bit disappointing. After such a long journey, we were hoping for a little more warmth and guidance from the hotel staff. While we understand they may have been busy, a simple greeting and an offer to assist with our luggage would have gone a long way to make us feel more welcomed. A little courtesy can make a big difference, especially when guests are arriving at night after a delay. On a positive note, once we entered our room, we were in awe. It was beautiful, immaculate, and perfectly appointed. The bed was also incredibly comfortable, and I truly had no complaints about the room. Considering our late arrival (around 10 PM), the kitchen staff thoughtfully arranged a burger and chips for us, and it was surprisingly delicious. The dining staff were wonderful, and we were grateful for their hospitality, especially as we had to use the bikes to get to the dining area and got a little lost in the dark. Fortunately, a kind hotel attendant we bumped into offered to guide us there, which was much appreciated. In the morning, with daylight, we could fully appreciate the luxury of this resort. It’s massive, pristine, and quiet. Breakfast was divine, and the staff in the kitchen area were exceptional. Keron, the smoothie guy, and one of the chefs, known as "Mr. Make it Happen," were particularly fantastic. Their friendly personalities really stood out, and we felt well taken care of. Despite the negative customer service from the first hotel attendant who took us to our room and the lack of communication from the reception staff regarding the bikes, overall, it was truly an incredible and memorable stay. The resort is filled with beautiful palm trees and lush vegetation throughout, making it an unforgettable experience.

This was my third stay at the hotel, and while there are some positives worth noting, the overall service experience left us disappointed and made our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been. On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful. The location is excellent, the grounds are spacious, and the pools and common areas are well designed. A few members of the staff—particularly some of the wait staff—delivered outstanding service, going out of their way to be kind, attentive, and professional. Those moments of excellence stood out and made a real difference. Unfortunately, the overall service fell well below expectations. The check-in process set the tone: the staff member who assisted us was neither warm nor welcoming, and instead came across as curt, argumentative, and even hostile. She refused to honor the AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits that were clearly included with our reservation, despite my providing proof and a receipt. Rather than resolving the issue, she insisted I contact American Express directly—even though I was out of the country—an unreasonable expectation for a returning guest. The way she handled the situation, and her dismissive attitude when I asked about the room upgrade, was a poor start to our stay. Other service gaps continued throughout. Some restaurant staff were polite and professional, but others seemed uninterested, unfriendly, or only became attentive after receiving a tip. At times, it felt like service was based on a quid pro quo rather than genuine hospitality, which is not the experience you expect at a property of this caliber. The room assignment also created challenges. We were placed at one far end of the resort, nearly half a mile from the only open pool. With two children, this was difficult to manage. After requesting a closer room, we were moved—but only three buildings closer—leaving the pool still a significant distance away. To make matters worse, the beach near our room was not maintained to the same standard as the beaches closer to the center of the resort, further diminishing the experience. Lastly, while the food was good, it was very expensive for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, the amenities and a few exceptional staff members prevented this from being a truly terrible stay. But the disappointing service—not just unfriendly, but at times outright rude—overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable return visit.

As lovely as the hotel itself was — with stunning views of the complex, a great variety of food choices, and top-notch entertainment — it truly would be nothing without the staff. I want to take a moment to shout out all the amazing people who made my stay the cherry on top! Starting with Georgia, who checked us in — so welcoming and friendly, which was the perfect start to our stay. Javaughn and Ariel brought such lovely hospitality every morning at breakfast. Shell’ee-Ann was polite, understanding, and attentive when it came to my room — truly appreciated. At the bar, Nicholas and Sashanell kept the vibes high with their great energy and amazing cocktails! A special mention to the lifeguards Milton, Odayne, and Bryan, who came through every day with good chat, laughs, and great vibes. The entertainment team — Joseph, Cyril, Thunder, and Nat — were pure fun and energy from start to finish. You could feel the passion they put into making everyone have a good time. Finally, Nicole made check-out smooth, friendly, and helpful — the perfect end to a perfect stay. All in all, my experience was 5 stars from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to unwind and get away from everyday life. The staff truly make it a memorable experience.

I really wanted to love this hotel, and to be fair, there were several great aspects; but overall, I don’t feel we received equal value for what we paid. We booked a Privilege stay, and our butlers were truly exceptional. Nazzi, in particular, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable; she even stepped in personally to clean makeup stains from the jacuzzi when housekeeping fell short. Our experience at the Sakura restaurant and the kids’ waterpark was also wonderful. The Privilege room itself was beautiful; the view was what we were waiting for, and the luxury amenities were definitely on par with expectations. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience didn’t quite measure up. Due to an airline flight change, we missed one night of our stay, which the hotel’s reservations team refused to refund. On top of that, I was charged over $300 in “child rates” for my 3-year-old, who ate maybe three meals total and didn’t use the kids’ club once (we also had a 2-year-old with us). We also hired a babysitter one of the nights and Sheneil was amazing and the kids enjoyed their time with her. In the end, we spent over $2,000+ USD for a 3-night stay, and while there were some bright moments, it simply didn’t feel worth that price. The location is also fairly isolated, there isn’t much to do nearby without booking an excursion or hiring a driver into town. As a returning citizen, I also found the food very underwhelming , with only two Jamaican options on the property, neither of which impressed. Overall, I think this could be a nice spot for couples or as a relaxing end to a longer trip to the island — but for families, especially at this price point, it fell short of expectations.

We had a beautiful room with a beautiful view and everyone and when I say everyone I mean everyone that works here was so happy and friendly! Just to name a few, Shane, Twayne, there was a waitress at the privilege area and she also was helping at the hamburger hut but I can’t remember her name, she had been here for only about two months, but she was amazing! The manager of Martha‘s, also cannot remember his name, but he was amazing!

We had a great experience here at ocean coral spring! Very nice and enthusiastic employees that are always willing to help! A big shout out to Cyril for the best entertainment at the pool along with Thunder! We loved our bartender Nicholas! “Cool guy” Every morning we went to Mike’s for a coffee. Alexi, Latoya, and Shantel always remembered our order and had a smile on their face, such a great way to start our day! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

This is the best resort we have been to. We travel a lot and this is our second trip to this resort. It is THAT good. The service, The food. The drinks. The beach and activities is top notch. Some of our favorite people are in the privilege lounge. Rushine has been some of the best service. Ask for her! We couldn’t have asked for a better honey moon. J and Jr at the bar are top notch too. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this resort. Ya Mon

Ocean Coral Springs gave us the best night and week of our lives! The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing, and the service overall was top-notch. At first, we found that some of the female servers could have been a little nicer, but honestly, the service really impressed us as the week went on—they were great today and made our stay even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Mellisa and sherine —she is a hard 10! Her energy, professionalism, and kindness stood out and made our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

I really did love the resort. The staff are truly amazing! The entertainment side really fell short for us considering it was very empty. It was dry. There was no Jamaican culture involved at all. We have traveled to multiple resorts on different occasions in Jamaica and while this beat them all by far, the entertainment area is not even in the competition. I would definitely visit again. We brought family there to visit as well on day pass. I just hope that it picks up and caters to Jamaica more so people see Jamaica more. I feel like everything we did was and can be found easily on Google. The experience of excellence was EXCELLENT. The entertainment, not good.

The excellence oyster bay is amazing. The staff truly caters to their guest. Antoinette on staff is amazing and super friendly. Amelia at the spa was phenomenal with the massage. Monique was at the pool bar and she had a great special and amazing personality. Menard at the jerk hut was super friendly and accommodating. Chef Theodore at spice was super catering and had a great voice. Also the seasons tour which is their ride service is great and really convenient.

My trip at Excellence Oyster Bay had exceeded my expectations for my wife’s birthday trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with happiness , respect, and hospitality. This is our first resort that offered a safe exclusive part of Jamaica with 2-13 ft gates entering the property with 24/7 security, the resort, and a private beach with only Excellence Resort Guest! Special shout out to Stefon our baggage guy who brought our suitcases to our room, gave us a tour and some tips for my stay! This resort offers a numerous amount of bars and restaurants with delicious food and drinks. Special shout out to Christopher and Jose-Ann at the Martini Bar definitely recommend paying them a visit and asking for them specifically, you won’t regret it 😉 also the guys at the swim up bar Blue they make the best drinks! This resort offers amazing amenities as well with new daily activities everyday. Special shout out to the Excellence Relaxation team, specifically Audrey and Carise! As I write this review now I can still feel the relief of the massage I received. As this was my wife’s birthday trip, the resort gave her the full birthday experience! I would’ve thought the whole resort knew it was her birthday as EVERY worker we met either wished her a happy birthday or sang the actual happy birthday song! It was truly an appreciative gift from the EMPLOYEES of the hotel. I cannot begin to thank all the amazing people and experiences I have had here! I truly cannot wait to visit again! More special shoutouts to Shamoy at the front desk, Valencia wonderful server in multiple restaurants, Cole our photographer for those amazing pictures. We stayed at Oyster Bay for our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing. We were picked up at the Airport by Seasons Tours and had a smooth transfer to the resort. The welcoming staff made us feel at home, and check in was quick and easy. We had a club room with a pool, which was quite lovely. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the resort. The Magna Pool and Beach were our favorite. The staff really made our honeymoon special. There was a banner on our door which was nice.The little things matter. I loved this resort, and we will definitely recommend to others.

We had a great time at the resort. The staff were all extremely friendly and fun especially Aquaman, Davey, Alrick, Twinkle, Deshaun, and MoMo. Rooms were nice and big with a huge bathroom. We had a large balcony oceanfront that we enjoyed. Ability to use the spa pools/hot tubs/sauna anytime was great. Large fully equipped gym with classes. The beach is gorgeous with calm warm water you can float all day in. The entertainment staff work extremely hard all day and night to ensure a great time.

This is our 4th time at Iberostar and each time they never disappoint. The rooms are clean, the resort overall is clean, the food is great and the service is excellent. They definitely know how to treat their guests especially the members. Our concierge by the beach, Donovan, was wonderful and always made sure we were taken care of. The butlers we had were always attentive and willing to assist with any request we had. Ann Marie, our member services manager was a joy to be around and ensured we had the best experience.

I stayed at Joia Iberostar Adults in Montego Bay and my experience was nothing short of AMAZING! I actually stayed here back in 2017, and because of how great that trip was, I had to come back. This visit reminded me exactly why I love this resort — the people who work here are some of the kindest and most genuine I’ve met. Their hospitality really makes the difference. Food: Hands down, some of the best food I’ve ever had at any resort. They even have this beachside “hut” (not really a hut, but a lunch spot overlooking the water) that was incredible — everything I ate there was delicious, not a single bad meal. Plus, you can easily visit the two sister resorts attached to enjoy their buffets and restaurants, which adds even more variety. Entertainment: Absolutely everything! Every day had something new scheduled — games, shows, activities — the energy was unmatched. Huge shoutout to Dave, the entertainment manager, who was always involved, dancing, playing games, and keeping the vibes alive. The foam party was a highlight and so much fun! DJ Mo kept the music on point, mixing reggae, hip-hop, R&B, afrobeats, and throwbacks. You can also check out entertainment at the other two resorts nearby if you want even more options. Bartenders: Big love to Kiwan, Andre, Obian, Travis, Shevaughn, and a few more — all amazing people. They weren’t just serving drinks, they were connecting with guests and keeping the energy high. Butler Service: Our butler Ralston was incredible. He made sure everything we needed was taken care of without hesitation. He checked in daily, gave us great recommendations on places to eat and shop outside the resort, and made our stay effortless. I know this review is long, but that’s just because I truly want to express my gratitude. My second experience at this resort was even better than the first. The love and hospitality from the staff here is unmatched. This is a place I’ll always come back to. Highly, highly recommend Joia Iberostar Adults in Montego Bay — unforgettable experience every time.

Amazing long weekend for a girls trip. Highly recommend. We had an oceanfront butler room, and the service was top-notch (shoutout to Rohan, Orain, Berris). Cardella cleaned our room, and kept it spotless. Patrice and Samantha were incredible at the Spa. Food was excellent. Vibes were on point — fun but not too rowdy. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

This is our 3rd Iberostar resort experience. This has been the best experience to date. All of our request were handled promptly and effectively. Devon and Christoper, our butlers, were always available and responded quickly to anything we asked of them. Devon was very “hands on” and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Mr. Valentine, our ambassador, also went above and beyond. Overall Great Vacation Experience!!

WHAT A TIME I HAD IN JAMAICA!!!!!! I came for my 50th birthday and I met some absolutely AMAZING PEOPLE!!! I would even call them friends. Everyone on the resort was nice and welcoming and made my stay here at JOIA so pleasant and enjoyable. My most favorite people were NaTasha and Vanesia from the lobby bar. And my other favorites were Nicholas from the buffet. My room was beautiful. I plan to come back yearly

This was the nicest all inclusive with the best food that we’ve had the opportunity to stay at! The staff made our entire trip. Twinkle, Ace, Dessanna, and Trini were incredible, helpful, and so so fun to hang out with all week! We will be back if for no other reason than to see our new friends again! :) Only hiccup was a rather pushy time-share situation upon arrival, but luckily we were able to decline the pitch. Unfortunately, it seemed like our concierge did hold a bit of a grudge afterward. All in all, I completely recommend this resort and would return!

My sons and I had a guys trip to Hyatt Ziva and had a wonderful time. The grounds are well kept and the location is convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was hit or miss, Choicez was a disappointment but breakfast as Calypso and the Jerk Hut were so good!! The star of the entire week was the Tuesday night Street Fair, a Jamaica BBQ with several different grills, buffet and drink stations. The pools were beautiful, clean, and never felt crowded. The entertainment staff keep everyone entertained. Drinks are good and the pool staff keeps them coming. Beach is beautiful but on the smaller side with plenty of shade for lounging. Overall this is an excellent resort for families, beautiful design but some age is showing, but the staff, location, and vibes make this worth it!!

My stay at the Hyatt Ziva hotel was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the doorman greeted us with the warmest welcome and explained that our bags would be delivered to the room after check-in. At the front desk, the ladies took their time walking us through every detail of our stay and patiently answered all of our questions. Now, on to the food—absolutely amazing! Jerk Hut was a favorite, with friendly staff and delicious dishes. We also dined at the all-you-can-eat restaurant, and wow—it felt like everything was cooked fresh to order. The executive chef was incredibly kind and attentive, even making thoughtful recommendations. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, and the calming aroma that flowed throughout the property made the atmosphere even more special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends—it’s an experience worth having!

We went here in 2023 but wanted to write a review because of great our trip was. We still think about the great service and people from this trip. The food was also amazing, they don't have as many a la cartes as other hotels but each restaurant was great. The jerk station by the beach was also amazing. The hotel was perfect for small families as it's not too big and easy to walk around and get places. The room service was also one of the fastest we experienced. At the time our son was 11 months, and everyone made sure our experience was great. The rooms are a bit older but the experience made everything better. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful trip with great food and service. The hotel was a bit far from the hotel, but we took private transport because of the baby.

The resort was amazing. The pools the beach access and the service from staff was awesome. My only unsatisfactory comment is the food option. Room service was provided, however it was often over an hour to receive the food. The in room service options were also limited. The best food I had was at the brick open pizza place and the Urban Eats which was at the main resort. The other restaurants were scattered around the resort about a 10 minute walk. The buffet, seafood restaurant, and the perk chicken dishes were either extremely too spicy, or lack seasoning. It was hard to find a good selection of food. I enjoy experiences all cuisines. I don't think this was my best experience of Jamaican food. Enjoyed all the entertainment and activities.

Amazing! This was by far the best stay I have ever had in Jamaica. The receptionists were warm and welcoming. I want to thank Latavia for upgrading our room and for her thoughtful service. We had the one bedroom butler suite ocean view and it was beautiful. I want to thank Kevin and Dexter for being the best butlers. They were very attentive and made my birthday very special. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Food was great! Over all best trip!

Overall, good, though I expected it to be exceptional. If you’re looking for an international-style resort in Jamaica, this is the place. But if you’re hoping for a truly authentic Jamaican experience, it may fall short. We originally booked for that authentic feel, but were a bit disappointed—especially with the food. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t have the Jamaican flavors we were hoping for. I also noticed that many staff members weren’t as warm and welcoming as expected, which sometimes made it difficult to approach them for help. For the price point, the bathrooms and toilets also felt fairly average. That being said, several individuals truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and they deserve recognition: • Alicia, Malique, and Mark – always welcoming with a smile • Sheldon at the jerk hut • Elvis on the beach, for outstanding service • Terry-Ann and Tiana at concierge, both incredibly helpful • Jason, chef at Calypso, for an excellent dining experience • Anthony, our waiter at Fuzion • Tricia, Kemona, and Prittanya from the Playa Collection team • Jdarling at the cigar shop These individuals made our trip special despite some disappointments. Their service stood out and reminded us what true hospitality feels like.

I had very high hopes as alot of great reviews and big hotel name means high quality. We spent 5 nights in the butler suite and while our butlers were nice ladies. They didn’t quite meet our expectations. We were traveling with small children and they were booking late dinners. Not much initiative was taken we had to tell them to do everything. This is not our first time using butler service so we had high expectations. Butler service just makes your vacation more relaxing. I expected better more personable service. Now the room, they need to do better they have beautiful limestone on the floors and quarts in the restrooms. Mold in the grout of the shower. They just throw caulk on top of mold. I had to shower in the dark. It’s too humid to not have ventilation in the restroom. Do better Hyatt! Other than that it was a very relaxing vacation. Our kids had a good time and while we traveled with young kids we also enjoyed ourselves.

We just spend 6 days at Beaches Negril as a family of 4. It was our first time staying here for an extended stay and my kids first time to Jamaica. This vacation was literally perfection! 7 mile beach is stunning - there are so many starfish, stingrays, fish, etc.... that you see, even if you never leave the harbor. If you choose to utilize water sports (which you absolutely should), you get to experience even more stunning sea life. The resort has the best hospitality I have ever experienced in the Caribbean, hands down. The staff is all so kind. They truly become family and were all so tuned in to the kids. They remembered my kids names after day 1. Would also check in to make sure they were having fun and knew of the kids activities going on. The food was delicious. The rooms were perfect! I could not recommend this resort enough! Thank you Beaches Negril for giving us a wonderful week in Jamaica!

We just got back from a wonderful vacation at Beaches Negril! We have a family of 5, 13 yr old, 10 yr old and 6 yr old and they had a wonderful time! The room was very clean and close to everything. The food was excellent. I would say the servings were a bit small but you can order more of it, so that doesn't really matter. I would say my kids would have liked more snack options throughout the day as they only have meal places and the yogurt shop. The kids loved the yogurt shop and they want 2x a day! The service was great and everyone was so helpful and nice! The hotel is at least 90 minutes from the airport which was a negative for us as my daughter gets car sick so the ride there and back was difficult for her. Wish it was a bit closer. The pool and water park and the beach were very clean. All in all the trip was great and would love to return again!

Such a fantastic experience at this resort. All aspects of the service team were top notch. Extremely friendly and helpful staff here. The food is exceptional at each of the restaurants (loved the Peruvian dinner the best). The beaches are well maintained and clean. The water is crystal clear. The Beach activities are managed from a third party company. We did 3-4 activities and excursions, and each was enjoyable, safe, and professionally handled. There's some very fast and fun water slides, and a splash area for the little ones. The evening and night shows featured a very talented team, employed full-time by the resort. From fire shows to water shows, reggae and Broadway nights -each were very enjoyable. Thank you Beaches Negril team for a great vacation!

I recently stayed at Beaches and there were many aspects of the experience that I truly enjoyed. The food was excellent, and the service provided by staff across the resort—including the front desk, concierge, restaurants, kids club, and entertainment team—was top-notch. The entertainment was lively and engaging, and the character experiences were a big hit, especially for the kids. The outdoor appearance of the property is beautiful and well-maintained. However, there are definitely some areas that need improvement. Room service was only available to guests staying in the most expensive butler suites, which was disappointing given the high cost of staying at the resort. Some rooms are extremely outdated, with old, worn-out furniture. I had to request a room change because my original room was in poor condition. There were also plumbing issues—my toilet flooded, the bathtub was loose and “sweating,” and there were visible signs of water damage on the walls, which had clearly just been painted over. Mold was present along the sides of the air conditioner, which raised health concerns and added to the overall dissatisfaction with the room. For the price of this resort, I expected better. It’s clear that guests in butler suites receive a much higher level of attention and quality, but all rooms should be held to the same standard. I’ve stayed at less expensive resorts that offered more modern, better-maintained rooms and room service for all guests. Beaches really needs to invest in updating all rooms and offering room service across the board, not just for premium suites. Until these issues are addressed, the value for money just isn’t there.

My family and I just returned from a vacation at Beaches Negril, this was our first time at a Beaches resort but we are frequent Sandals goers. When we arrived at the airport the lounge was full but we were greeted and checked in to wait for the ride to the resort quickly. When we arrived at the resort we went to the concierge lounge and they discussed everything with us and we were off to our room which I loved, no long waiting. The room was great for our family of 5, we don't normally complain about the room because we are barely in it. The only issue we had with the room was that the air conditioner started leaking and we called to have someone come check it out because it left a puddle in the room area by the closet but no one came to check on it and it did that for 2 days, it would stop at night though which was weird. Housekeeping was great they came everyday and cleaned the room and I loved the nightly turndown service. The entertainment was great I loved that there were activities and music at the pool all day gave a great vacation vibe. The nightly entertainment though needed some work it was nice that they had a variety of shows but to me they were lackluster. We did love the Sesame Street show for the kids it was nice and the Broadway show was the best, Delly and Alexia made it an extraordinary experience. I loved Delly's personable personality and he was fun and engaging every time he saw my husband on resort he would yell out "Charles" which made us feel like we weren't going unnoticed. Another disappointment was the after party for adults at Liquid's we stayed up one night to go and there was no DJ in there and the bartender that was in there looked bored to death. I think that could be a good after hour spot but it needs to be a DJ in there and an attentive and energetic bartender. The best dinner we had was at Kimono's I am so glad that we were able to go there. We also ate breakfast at Stella which was great as well, the other food was just mediocre at best and The Mill's buffet is quite disappointing compared to other buffets I've had at other resorts, not a wide variety of foods and the fruit was awful. The food that they did offer was not that good. We also ate at the Jerk Shack which was just ok the chicken was not giving jerk chicken it was giving chicken with a sauce on it, but I loved the fish in foil, it was delicious, Kerry Ann was attentive and even got us some fries when they weren't on the menu and kept making sure we were good while we ate there. We also ate at the BBQ Park and it was not that good, the burger I ordered the bun was old and falling apart and the pulled pork was not good the flavor and bbq sauce, YUCK! I enjoyed the frozen yogurt shop though. We also ate at Marachi's and it was just ok as well the beef fajitas that I got were just okay but the servers we had there were EXCELLENT Andrea and Kaylia they made the experience a great one aside from the mediocre food. My kids really loved Sweetie's where you can get the ice cream from the machine they went there several times a day, I loved that little touch as well. Then Nickesha from the sales office gave me a tour of the resort and the eventides villa which was great she was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I love the fact that there is a children's center for children with autism as I work with children and see how children with special needs can be looked over but not at this resort and I love that. I really enjoyed the resort over all I would recommend the resort to others looking for a family vacation the only thing that would deter me from coming back is the long ride to and from the resort, it takes up a whole day. I'm happy we came to this resort and my kids definitely enjoyed themselves. Lastly all the staff are so friendly and welcoming that makes for a pleasant stay as well because it is a warm and welcoming vibe.

I’ve been coming to Sandals and Beaches resorts for the past 10 years, and now I’ve started bringing my kids to Beaches as well. Every experience has been great, and the staff have always been wonderful. On our most recent trip to Beaches Negril, one employee in particular really stood out — Marc Antony. Not only did my kids love him, but so did all the other children at the resort. He spent hours playing with them, splashing water, laughing, and just genuinely engaging with the kids. You could see the joy on their faces — they were smiling from ear to ear. Every day, my kids couldn’t wait to get back to the water park just to hang out with him. As a small business owner myself, I know how rare it is to find an employee like that — someone with such a great attitude, strong work ethic, and fantastic personality. It’s people like Marc Antony who make vacations truly memorable. I’d be lucky to have someone like him on my own team.

A dream vacation. Scuba diving in the Caribbean was amazing! The resort was clean, great food, great service, good entertainment. The rooms were nice, but could use updating. Any issue was taken care of very quickly. We loved it.

We had the best time at this resort. It was so peaceful and full of beautiful plants and animals. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and just a small walk across the street. The food was slightly repetitive, but still well prepared every time. The service is where this resort shines. The people who work here are genuine and kind. Kevan, the lifeguard was such a great help to us by making sure we had the best time. He was courteous, helpful, friendly and funny. Travis was another awesome employee we met. He worked security and always had a smile ready, and offered any information we needed to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were so pleasant, even though we bugged them so often. We had a wonderful time and are already dreaming of the day we return. This was our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you to the staff!!!

If you want a small personal resort experience this is it! No concrete jungle here just 75 rooms and everything is very personal! The beach and pool are small but we always had covered seats on the beach and poolside seating was easy as well. Met great people both at the resort and the guests. The food was very good and whatever you wanted was was taken care of! It's not what people think of when "resort" comes to mind but it is one of the best weeks I've had in a long time!

My husband and I absolutely love Sunset At The Palms and try to get there each year for our anniversary. If you're looking for a huge resort with a dozen restaurants, wild nightlife, and a million chairs on the beach, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your jam is unique rooms set amongst palm trees and other tropical plants, falling asleep to the sounds of tree frogs, and a private beach, this might be the place for you. There are so many reasons to love SATP, and here are a few: The friendly, smiling staff making you feel welcome at every turn Every room is a treehouse The beautiful beach for guests only Beach sunsets Great food The gorgeous grounds Jiggy coffee You can request a hummingbird feeder for your balcony and watch hummingbirds right there! The massages at the spa Truly, there's just some kind of hidden magic here, and it's why we keep returning.

We absolutely love sunset at the Palms. My wife and I stayed at the resort March 2025. We found this resort to be utterly charming. Food was amazing and the staff were so hospitable and attentive to our every need. The grounds were immaculate! The bird song And tree frogs brought so much joy to our hearts. We stayed in the 700s section and it was pure bliss. We loved our room, especially the balcony with the daybed. We took more than one nap together outdoors, listening to the sounds of nature before dinner. The beach was amazing and the staff catered to every need. Food and drinks from the beachside bar were wonderful though, I would recommend Taking one day to go over to the Office of nature for their lobster, OMG! Yes, there were a few vendors hawking their wears on the beach, but all it took was a simple no thank you and they left us alone. Love the buskers who came along and played live music to serenade us. Donovan is the best! The bartenders were so friendly and professional. By all means be sure to catch Paul at the piano bar. Thanks again sunset at the Palms we’re already making plans for our return.

We loved our stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. There is ample security and you feel very safe while you are there. They arrange all transportation for you if you leave the resort, which we utilized a couple times. They had their drivers wait for us everywhere we went, and insured they knew when we were coming back as well. The food was outstanding. Since it’s a smaller resort with around 85 rooms, the staff and cooks are local and trained very well. They prepare very authentic food. It was delicious. I came back to America missing the food, I felt a lot healthier as well while I was there. Our treehut was adorable. We had an issue with the first room we were in, but they were quick to put us in a new room and gave us a bottle of champagne as well. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon. The private beach was awesome and so relaxing. We spent so much time in the water and laying on the chairs. This is one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

We came here for our honeymoon, to spend 1 week after 1 week of travelling by car through Jamaica. We were hoping for somewhere relaxing, beautiful, calm, with good food and drinks, good beach experience and a comfortable hotel. We found that and more. A hotel is more than a place to stay and do things, I think a truly good hotel experience needs to be a an overall experience where you really feel detached from daily life. This is one of the best hotel experience we ever had, not because it was the fanciest or the biggest or with the best food offer, but because we felt so good there everyday and the overall experience was great. Of all the good things, for us the best thing was the staff. They were all great, authentic, proactive, professional but warm and welcoming. They would even anticipate our needs, like one time a couple of cocktails were brought to us after we finished ours and didn’t need to ask. On the last day we went to say goodbye to Andrice who served us so well at the beach, and she gave us a Jamaica key ring. Truly a great experience that I find rare nowadays in Hotels. Other great things, the food in the beach (I must have ordered the jerk chicken and onion rings like 10 times), the drinks (ask for Bananacolada with coconut rum at the pool!), the music (Piano Paul always rocking the piano), the BBQ night (such AMAZING ribs), the beach (no concrete mega structures, just the palm trees, nice safety guard, water without rocks and good mix of shade and sun) and the room (with a balcony with a duvet where one can lie down during a tropical rain). We had never said we would return to a hotel, but this one will probably change that. We just know that when we want days on the Caribbean with good service, good beach and good food and drinks, this place will be there for us. Thank you Sunset at the Palms!

My husband and a few friends traveled to Negril and stayed at SATP for 8 days. This wasn't our first time visiting Jamaica, but it was our first time in Negril. The beaches at the resort were incredible and much better than the man-made ones in Runaway Bay. The weather didn't fully cooperate during the week, but it is rainy season. We made the most out of the mornings on the beach and then napped during the afternoons. The resort itself was wonderful. The deluxe rooms were spacious and we really enjoyed the shower and balcony. The robes and slippers provided were a fantastic touch. The resort cats were were so much fun! I am a huge cat person, so having these lovies there during our trip was just perfect! 😻 I just wish they would get the cats spayed and neutered, as I think the sweet grey tabby girl is pregnant again. She just had kittens a few months ago. 🥺 Some of the areas did flood at some of the buildings. Ours was not affected, but our friends' building was. It was very swampy and they were not happy. The staff was incredible! Everyone was friendly, accommodating and lovely. Tamekia, our waitress for a number of evenings, was by far our favorite. She was super sweet, funny and just such an amazing person. She went above and beyond with her service, from anticipating drinks, to fulfilling my husband's request for an ice cream sundae. She decorated our table for our final dinner and surprised us with special drinks and desserts. Odine, at the pool and beach bar, was phenomenal as well. He brought us scotch bonnet peppers from his garden, so I could have them made into my morning omelets. He was always attentive with service and we loved talking to him on a personal level. We really enjoyed him during our trip! Tre at the pool bar was also another one of our favorites. He was very sweet and did such a great job keeping all in our group happy with yummy drinks! The food at the resort was very good. The only suggestion would be to have a bit more variety at the breakfast buffet, but the quality was wonderful. We just got a bit burned out after 4-5 days. The Lotus and Chef's Selection dinners were delicious and we loved seeing the young chefs and hearing them explain what meals they created. That was a special treat. My favorite was the pumpkin soup Captain Kirk made. I would have loved to have taken a bath in it! If you like a relaxing vacation, this is your place. It's not a party place, as we were the only people at the bar after 10 on most nights. They had a band 2 of the nights, then a small reggae trio one night that was so great. All the planned events ended at 10. So, there were a few hiccups that we dealt with during the week. The hot tub broke due to a storm early in the week that was never repaired. That was a disappointment for our group because we like to relax in the hor tub after dinner. Second issue we had was with one of the pool bartenders. He kept leaving the bar for long periods of time on 2 nights that we were there and one of the nights, he closed the bar 45 minutes early, at 12:15 a.m., when it wasn't supposed to close until 1 a.m. Granted, we were getting ready to leave, but we wanted to take night caps back to our room. Aside from those small issues, we were completely and utterly thrilled about the SATP and will definitely be returning next year.

Let me start by saying that Zoëtry is very quaint. Rooms are beautiful and align with the 5 star rating. This is where it ends. Food is mediocre. Every meal there's items missing on the menu. Same for drinks. Had one spoon to stir my coffee all week. No bath mats, room floor is tile and quite slippery. There was only like 40'of us at the resort. The common theme during any conversation was the lack of food, drinks and service in general. One night management offered us a dinner at another resort . They offered to 16 out of 40 people so the list of complainants was quite extensive. When paying 5 star $ you expect 5 star service and food. It's a shame because it's a beautiful little boutique resort. Imitation crab and Greek salad loading with green olives. Words hardly make my statement and concerns justice. Many couples requested a move to a different resort

Not a whole lot to say. This is a very small "all inclusive" that offers basic amenities and average-to-very-poor service. The beach is very small, and for the four days I was here, I didn't see a single person in the water. The reason? It's in a small cove that is separated from the main ocean beach by a sandbar. The water isn't very clear, and definitely not inviting. So if you are looking for a beach vacation, this isn't it. Food is... Basic... Unpredictable... And very slow to be served. Room Service is terrible, and everyone in our group had the same experience. Order a basic pizza, and 2 hours later nothing. Want a cup of coffee and a pastry? Good luck. In fact, not a single person in our group of 7 ever received a room service order. The front desk just shrugs. One day I returned to my room, bed was made, but no pillow cases or towels. I went to the front desk, explained the situation, and they asked "so what do you want?" I was baffled. Pillow cases and towels? Three hours later someone showed up with wash cloths. The restaurant menu (of which there is really only one restaurant...the other two are just a shack and a lunch station) is very basic and no custom options. Service was very slow, orders were wrong, and servers often very confused. I cannot recommend this property, and am surprised it is under the Hyatt portfolio. As a World of Hyatt Explorist (which was never acknowledged) I received no extra perks or benefits. Late Checkout was denied. The property has potential, but needs ownership and management who actually care, and understand traveler's basic expectations for an all inclusive vacation resort.

Ramona and David were absolutely amazing! They made our stay at Zoëtry feel effortless and extra special. Ramona was calm, thoughtful, and always one step ahead, while David brought great energy and made sure everything ran smoothly. They were both so kind and attentive — we couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

This place is a hidden gem just 10 minutes from Montego Bay airport. The staff, the space, and the food are all top notch. I especially want to celebrate Ricardo. He was attentive and helpful from the moment we stepped foot onto the hotel grounds. If you are his boss and read this, he was awesome and deserves recognition for his hard work to make out vacation flawless. We will be going back.

This is the 3rd Zoetry we have visited and we will NEVER return to this location. Room service takes an average of 2 hours and the order was never correct. We signed up for an ATV & Water excursion. It was a two hour commute to location and another 90 minute wait for activities. It was 96 degrees; no water (items in lockers) with excessive flies from manure. It was so uncomfortable we decided to pass on ATV and get lunch while we waited for our canoe. After looking at the menu and deciding we were told only two things were available:wings and fries. Transportation back wasn’t until 1:30 so we had a long time to wait to return. Very disappointing trip! The work out room has broken equipment with no air. Towels are not replenished or replaced. We got them ourselves. The window in the bathroom is too transparent to leave the light on while showering. The refrigerator keeps items “not warm” certainly not cool. Upon complaining a rep for Zoetry said Jamaica location receives a lot of complaints. Info needed prior to booking! Run for the hills! Don’t come here! Finally, I am allergic and have a fear of cats. They are everywhere and in the dining room it’s unbearable.

This may be for you, I had a very strange experience. Start with why you want to stay, then finish with the "wait what" First its quiet, very peaceful at times, seemed empty, you get a butler which is more a customer service manager, nice but dont expect much. Clean room bath area great water pressure fridge, good AC control. More than half the staff were great. The "meh" side, no elevator, no iron , yes its true, service takes forever, be on vacation, eat late at specific times, no food mart inside or out, Not 1 person went in the beach water, dont blame them. Strange things happened at times, out of no where. Always out of something. Needs upkeep if I showed you the details.

Worst experience from seasoned traveler, and repeat customer. Food was consistently of the poorest quality. Staff's hands were tied with no ownership toward work. This was mimicked by lack of ownership in Management for the experience of their guests. Spoke with manager only to get acknowlegement of the deficiencies and no corrective actions. For example, ordered room service through Manager on duty at 9:30. After waiting in dining area for over an hour to eat from the dinner menu. Room service came at 12:01 am. This resort has is All inclusive with no inclusive amenities. We managed our way thru chairs falling through the outdoor decking only to have management acknowledge the danger after the fact will $0. We suffered through meal after meal of pre-cooked poorly prepared food. While all inclusive cocktails were available it consisted of the lowest caliber of alcoholic beverage at all bars and a pint if rum in the room. Staff was friendly and very kind but clearly untrained. King Ocean view was the only nice thing. Limited dining choices. Pub with games for tourists was unmanned with no air, no bar, and very uninviting. As a repeat visitor I am disappointed in in current ownership. Tons of opportunities dismissed.

Words can’t even describe how amazing this place is. We just returned home from a 5 night stay in the breadfruit suite. The suite is everything you could dream of. My dream vacation is one where I’m not waking up early to reserve chairs at the pool or beach. We were one of 3 couples there so always had chairs at both! The service is impeccable and we loved Ariana, Stephanie, and Janel! The food is TO DIE FOR! I gained 5 pounds and was never hungry. I am going to try to make the lobster escavitch at home because it was so great! Do not hesitate to book here, it’s the best vacation I’ve ever had and we will definitely be returning!

This resort has changed the way I want to travel, as I haven't experienced anything like it. I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the resort due to its secluded location, but it is perfect for relaxing and recharging. And you really taste the quality and care put into the food that's prepared from scratch. The views are amazing, and the balcony is next-level. We stayed in a suite, so I can only imagine how the villa experience will be. I stayed at another resort near MJB on my last night in Jamaica to experience Montego Bay, and there was no comparison. We booked a VIP room at the other resort, and was slightly disappointed upon check-in. The room at the other resort was very nice, but nothing like our experience at Bluefields. After staying at Bluefields Villas and Suites, the bar has been set really high. We will be back...as often as we can.

My husband and I stayed in the suites 2 months ago and hardly a day goes by that I don't fondly think of our stay at Bluefields. I'm used to vacations where we are going on a different excursion every day, but this is a different type of place. It's so relaxing and beautiful, we were happy to stay on our porch in the morning and relax around the property throughout the day. The meals at the Treehouse, Dirty Bananas at the beach bar, and espresso in the morning - all fresh and delicious. The real star of the experience was the staff. They were kind, friendly, and accommodating without being stiff or formal. Thoroughly delightful. Take a walk with a local guide, swim at the beach, take in the sunset - we can't wait to return!

This is an amazing property with breathtaking views, friendly staff and chef prepared meals in an all inclusive environment. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and can't wait to go back.

Reflecting on my time at Bluefield Bay Villas I cannot help but be excited to return! From the moment my partner and I stepped foot onto Bluefields, to leaving our vacation was seamless. Our transportation was arranged by Bluefields and our driver was punctual, friendly, and so knowledgeable of the history of Jamaica. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jamila, who checked us in and gave us a tour of the property, and anything we may need to know. We stayed in one of the suites, through Hilton, and didn’t quite know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised that it was its own one bedroom mini villa overlooking the ocean. It was beautifully designed, comfortable, and had anything you might need for a relaxing stay. The 4 separate suites share a fresh pool overlooking the ocean, and a communal dining area called “The treehouse”. Jamila helped us planned our menus for each day we were there -the night prior. Some of our favorites on the menus were: smoked Mackerel eggs Benedict, lemon swordfish, and the short ribs. The chefs were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every bite we had. The desserts were nothing short of amazing- however I was usually pretty full by this point. The private beach, and beach service was a large bonus for my partner and I. We spent our days relaxing on the beach being served Bluefields coladas ( a play on the classic pina colada). The water was warm and clean and had many different access points unlike other places in Jamaica. Overall it is clear that the owners of Bluefields have taken their time to master what they do. Everything there is intentional and they thrive on the small details. I cannot wait to plan my return.

The experience of just trying to modify, was a headache . 3 employees later and still can’t modify or cancel (because this is a no refund hotel) when the booking was made it was made in error. So instead of canceling, we tried to modify the number of people, but nope, they won’t help with that either. We haven't made it on this trip yet and it's already been a headache speaking with customer service and Hilton. Keep in mind this trip is planned for 2026. We've called, we've emailed, we've chatted and not a single person is willing to help modify or cancel this trip. The first person told us to call Hilton, Hilton said to call the hotel directly, scatterbrains at the hotel are useless and not to mention unpleasant and now they've ruined a trip that is more than a year and a half a way. So since we can't get any help, we've decided to not deal with Hilton... anymore, ever and notify our financial institutions for scam. I should have followed my first mind. Update: response from the so called “owner” Hello. We are very sorry for the issues you are having. As you might guess, your review differs so wildly from the experience of all of our other customers, you situation is not normal for our guests experience. The heart of the problem we are facing is that you booked a non-changeable/refundable rate on the Hilton site. The SLH partnership is fairly new and the processes to work things out with Hilton can take some time. We don't have any direct contact with Hilton, we have to direct questions to SLH, they direct them to Hilton and we get an answer back in due course. Both companies are working on a better way and this should roll out soon and make these infrequent outlier issues quicker to address. In the meantime you may have noticed that we have never tried to charge your card for the stay. I have reviewed the one call you had with an operator here at almost midnight local time and noted that you said you didn't see the Hilton name on the confirmation you received after booking. I have forwarded that as a possible pain point. We have asked them to revisit and review to make absolutely sure that it is painfully clear when people select a rate that is not cancellable, a policy which most hotels and every airline have. policy which most hotels and every airline have. In the future may I suggest calling businesses a bit closer to normal working hours to get the most help before jumping right on an online platform. And to the “owner” I say. Oh how silly and ignorant of you to speak such lies. No way you can honestly say airlines have never offered flight changes, upgrades (after booking) or even cancellation (if you pay for it). Many, many hotels offer cancellation, upgrades, and modifications. Some of the more reputable hotels around the world offer changes. Because this resort does not, that’s fine, but do not be so swift to try to save the reputation but can’t legitimately state a claim for all airlines and hotels. I’ve never had a problem calling customer care of any Hotel I’ve visited and was met with rudeness or because it was a certain time of day. Typically when a customer needs help with travel, hotel accommodations, there is always time to speak with a professional service rep. I don’t operate on hotel time, so I called when it’s convenient for me. The vm said to leave a message, I did that, and now it’s just rudeness. When I called I expect help, knowledge and professionalism. And because we did not get that, we chose to cancel all plans and not just modify, which you couldn’t, wouldn’t do anyway. Knowing better is doing better. Now you know better, so do better. Whoever reads this. I’ve posted this on all platforms, but Google is the only way I can update and add.

This was an amazing get away. We stayed in one of the suites . The service is above and beyond . The staff are all so very friendly, professional, and welcoming. There is not one complaint that my husband and I have. Thank you for giving us the most relaxing vacation . We will be back !

I went for 7 nights the first week of September with my bf this year. The hotel is in central Montego Bay, directly by the beach. The hotel contains everything you need, drinks are great, food is good but you have to expect local food, the views from the room are fantastic and the facilities were always very clean too. This hotel is honestly perfect for the price you’re paying. The only downside is that the service is a bit slow but that is just the local atmosphere. Be patient , don’t be in a rush and you will have the best time. You will get on site plenty of choice to do activities everywhere in Jamaica safely with a driver and guide with a group. You can also get massages on site in a gorgeous cabana by the sea. I highly recommend it.

My stay here at Grand Decameron is A1. It' s like home away from home. It really a great feeling to be here. I met Erin/Zoey who turned out to be my favorite person in the entire result. She is really a sweet soul. I'm absolutely comfortable and happy around her. She has a really nice personallity that makes any guess feel welcomed. Apart from the beauty, the exceptional exceptional service, luxurious amenities and an unforgettable experience at this resort..... I would definitely return because of Erin/Zoey.... Big up Zoey.... I truly appreciate you.

Worried at 1st after reading some reviews, we were originally booked in to Royal Decameron Runaway Bay, but due to contracts with Tui wd we're changed to Decameron Cornwall. Can honestly say, do not take any notice of he negative reviews. We had a fantastic time, rooms always cleaned with daily clean sheets and towels if you wanted. Food was plentiful and very tasty, always a good selection. 2 L Ala Carte Restaurants to choose from, can book each Morning for the same Evening, we want 7 times out of 14 Night stay. Beach and views are a little piece of paradise. All the Staff were lovely and friendly. We are already planning a return visit in 2 year's time 😁

I visited the Decameron last August. While we were not overly impressed with the facilities in the establishment, the entertainment team were absolutely amazing! They were so down to earth and we were extremely looked after. By the end of the stay, it felt like we were leaving our cousins abroad. Zoey was amazing, she has an amazing memory and took the time to remember the names of all 18 people in our party. She is extremely personable and funny and you can’t help but love her!

I'm glad I went and would consider coming back in the future. Pro's The views from the rooms of the gorgeous pool and beach are fantastic! I don't get around well so the size of the resort was great for me. I also requested a room near the elevator which they honored. Always simple to get a chair by the pool or the beach. I appreciated that they had a designated smoking area outside of the lobby. Dale at the lobby bar is a class act. I didn't care to get hammered drunk but I enjoyed speaking with a Montego Bay native who was obviously trained well in beverage service. Most of the servers in the buffet restaurant were quite good. Con's Check-in system is very antiquated. Hard rule not to let anyone in before 3pm so everyone charges the desk at 3pm. Just dole out the rooms as inventory becomes available to avoid miserable crowds in the lobby. Housekeeping, when they did come, often would clean rooms that were still occupied before the ones that had just been vacated. Both of these issues should be addressed. My biggest complaint would be that there's a glaring lack of food and beverage management on hand certain nights. On both Saturday and Sunday night before 8:45pm, the buffet was completely out of any options that included meat. The restaurant was also a mess. This is totally unacceptable! Not claiming to be a 5 Star allows you to not have to serve as high end foods but doesn't allow for you to run out of food and staff not to care about it one bit. Why no blankets on the bed? My room was freezing and it took two days to get it warmed down. I caught a cold after the first day because of it. Please provide more than a sheet. I did my homework so I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I enjoyed mostly. I love meeting people from around the world which was easy and fun in a place that isn't too big. This resort has so much potential to do better and should stop just trying to get by.

Best all inclusive getaway vacation ever! 🌊Turquoise color carrabean ocean, 🏖 clean beach with shade, 🚤kayaking, 🤿 snorkling, paddle board, 🏊‍♂️ pool side snack bar, 💆‍♀️spa, 🎸🎵 entertainment, 🍽 lunch dinner buffet with Jamaican food and al a carte two restaurants (reservation required). Fully Staffed place and all seems very polite. Enjoyed tropical fruits 🍉🥥🍍 and pina colada. We baught coconuts from outside and made a request to a gardner if he could cut it open with his big garden tool. He helped gladly! Highly recommend 😀

I had one of the worst resort experiences of my life here. The customer service was beyond disappointing — especially at the front desk, where the staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived. We were told that check-in would be at 3:00 PM, so after a 4-hour drive, we arrived around 2:30. At that point, we were told our rooms weren’t ready and to come back at 3:30. That turned into 4:00… and by 6:00 PM, we still didn’t have our rooms. To make matters worse, we had booked our stay weeks in advance for the other side of the resort, but were told upon arrival that it was fully booked and we’d been moved to the Cornwall side — without prior notice or explanation. When we finally got access to our rooms, they were not properly cleaned or stocked. There were no towels, no washcloths, and not even a bath mat. I called room service, and someone eventually brought a few towels — but when I asked for washcloths, the staff member casually told me, “We don’t provide rags.” When I asked what I was supposed to wash with, she shrugged and said, “I don’t know.” That level of indifference was insulting. We then discovered that our shower had no running water. When we contacted the front desk again, we were met with nothing but attitude and no urgency to resolve the issue. Adding to the frustration, we had specifically requested a ground floor room for my elderly grandmother, who has had multiple surgeries and struggles with stairs. Instead, they placed her on the fourth floor with no explanation or effort to accommodate her needs. And the food? Absolutely terrible — bland, limited, and nowhere near the quality expected from a resort. I was born in Jamaica and visit often. I’ve stayed in many different resorts across the island, and I can honestly say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Between the rude staff, poor accommodations, and lack of care for guest needs, I will never return

High school group meet up was good. The staff and food was great. The accommodation was spacious and clean. However the rain cut our fun day short. This will be a spot we revisit when in Trelawny.

The food was absolutely awful. • The burgers were both raw and burnt. • The supervisor prepared a cocktail that had ants in it. • All three servings of Stamp and Go had raw flour inside. • The Oxtail Pasta also had raw flour and was completely undercooked. • The festival was so overpowered by cornmeal it was hard to enjoy. • The ketchup was spoiled, and when we raised this concern, the manager insisted that ketchup “can’t spoil.” We were greeted with a long list of dos and don’ts, including no smoking, yet a British couple seated beside us was allowed to smoke freely. When our server returned with the supervisor, a lady with a very poor attitude interrupted. I had to ask who she was, and she stated she was the manager Ms Annmarie. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, as she blamed her staff instead of addressing our concerns. It was also clear that our server was afraid of her Manager, which was sad to see. The only positive part of this experience was our server, who showed excellent customer service. She was patient, kind, and genuinely tried to make things right, even though it was clear the management did not support her efforts.

Ariya was such a delight. She shared so much intellectual history of Jamaica as well as the vibes. I came with a group of 6 and all of us had a great time!

⭐ 1 out of 5 I was really disappointed with my visit to Bamboo Beach Club. The service was slow and unorganized. The food took forever to come out, and when it finally did, it wasn’t worth the wait — cold and lacking flavor. The beach area could’ve been much cleaner. I expected a much better experience. Definitely not what I was hoping for and I wouldn’t recommend it. All the drinks we asked for wasn't available total waste of time. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great time at Bamboo Beach! The beach itself is beautiful—clean, scenic, and perfect for relaxing. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everyone is comfortable and having fun. Even if your package doesn’t include food or drinks, they offer a menu with items available for purchase. The food was tasty and different from the usual American expectations. The chicken tenders, for example, are real pieces of seasoned, breaded chicken—not processed strips—and they’re served with delicious batata fries instead of regular French fries. We also tried the BBQ chicken, which was flavorful and came with rice, coleslaw, and sweet plantains—very satisfying! One of the highlights was the beach show and bartender performance. They did a fun round of shots for everyone and showed off some cool mixology skills. This time, our chaperone from the boat was Sacha, who was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re visiting Jamaica!

Khaleisha was amazing! She did great on education about Jamaica on our way up! She was on top of her game with serving us and made sure we were okay and comfortable the entire time. We would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the $$!!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a vacation at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica. The hotel itself was wonderful, located in a beautiful setting with stunning beaches, and the food was delicious. While the overall experience was good, I’m not entirely convinced that it meets the five-star standards they claim. The staff was friendly, and the cuisine was great, but the service didn’t always feel top-tier. However, a significant downside was the journey to the hotel. The road conditions are quite poor and the drive, which takes about two hours, felt risky and challenging. The roads are mountainous and not well-maintained, making the trip stressful. Although the drivers were kind, the journey itself was not what we expected from a luxury experience. We genuinely worried about safety during the ride. In conclusion, while Sandals South Coast offers a beautiful and relaxing environment, the transportation aspect needs serious improvement. It’s important for the resort to ensure safer and more reliable travel conditions for their guests. Until then, we would hesitate to recommend this destination to others.

Best place ever! The resort is nice, but the stay was exceptional and unique mostly because of amazing staff such as Kenardo who was the most welcoming. I had just arrived and he made sure to make us feel at home and welcomed! Kayan was a sweetheart and the best singer ever! The rooms are very beautiful too and very clean. The food is good because of the option

Our 6 day stay was fabulous! The grounds are well kept. The food is amazing. You must eat at Eleanors, Neptunes, Schooners, and enjoy Jamaica Day at Bayside! Jamaican food is DELICIOUS!! As well, the staff is absolutely wonderful! I have to mention a few bartenders that were top knotch not only in their mixology talents; they were also eager to provide us with their Jamaican culture, favorite places to tour and cooking secrets: Travoy, Mario, Chantail, Cadeisha, and our absolute favorite was a special lady named Tasheeka! We also received an education on the modern reggae with a personal acópela demonstration from new hire, Rodaine! My sweetheart and I had a fabulous stay! We hope to be able to return some time in the future!

We went to Sandals South Coast as part of a pickleball group. The entire experience was top notch. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast on our private balcony every morning. The pickleball was well organized with great coaching. The choices for food allowed us to try different types of cuisine. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The pool was great. There were many activities and entertainment opportunities. Great place! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at Sandals South Coast! The views were beautiful, our room was spacious and the food was delicious. I want to give a special shout out to Kayan. She did activities at our pool and we became friends. We came down to see her sing in the evenings. She has an amazing voice! She even sang our first dance song and had us dance. She also came and found us in the lobby to say goodbyes on our last day. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This resort was phenomenal. What made it perfect was the staff, particularly the performers Kayan and Kenny. Kayan has the most beautiful voice and we listened to her perform multiple times. The warmth they showed us made us feel welcome and at home every time we interacted.

The stay has been great so far. We are here for our honeymoon and the entertainment has been incredible!! Francois is a great singer and overall performer. We have enjoyed all the hospitality that we have encountered here.

A whole section needs remodeled. The newly remodeled area was nice but the bathroom was an open concept which made no sense. Also no blankets but had to use a sheet to cover up. I would say about 75% of the employees were friendly and nice, the remaining were rude, didn't even smile at all. Jeonna and Avel with the entertainment team were more helpful than the front desk folks. The overall view was really nice.

Such a fun trip! Everyone was so amazing. Service was 10/10. Good food, good people. Corlando with the privilege club was so great! Dwayne and Hushane (our bartenders) went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Cody was great as well. They truly are what made our stay so great!

First off I was grateful to even be able to do anything for my birthday and excited to visit Jamaica. Most of the staff are nice but there a a few young ladies that are very rude. The first incident is when we were talked into a presentation, after declining giving them 9,000 the manager got up and stormed off. Unbelievable! The second instance was in the buffet when we were stopped at the door because we had food with us to take back to the room, the two young ladies at the door were very rude and did not offer any kind of alternative or reason why we could not take the food to our room. Even though they were rude we still wished them a good night and in response we got nasty looks.I am not sure what their issues are but I have nothing to do with them. These are just a couple of examples of how rude and weird some of the staff acted. Why are they so mad? Customer service is not for everyone. The ac in the room could be cooler, there is no room service offered unless you upgrade to luxury, the same food is at both buffets every single night. At this point I’m just ready to go. I will never stay here again and definitely do not recommend. Don’t waste your money.

Just got back from spending 7 days and it was a wonderful vacation. Big shot out to Marvin! Marvellous Marvin is a well deserved nickname! Thank you for everything! The food was fantastic! We had an upgraded room with an amazing view of the ocean! The staff were all so friendly and really made the vacation even better! Always had fresh towels and house keeping came everyday to freshen up our room and fill our fridge ! Was a little apprehensive coming to because I had read some not so great reviews, but our experience was completely different! We also did scuba diving on a glass floor boat. I would also recommend, it was a fun little adventure and responsibly priced. Thank you so much, we look forward to visiting in the future after all the Reno’s are finish!

Great experience for my first time in Jamaica. The concierge and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and the thick memory foam mattresses are very comfy. Hostess Donte, and servers Jason and Akeem at the Nyam Main Restaurant were just excellent. They made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. Service was great and food was great. Thank you!

Great service! The sever was excellent. Cassetta loves what she does and of such we felt like the royal family. She is a wonderful person. We felt welcome and Sheneil customer service was superb. She has exceptional customer service skills. My daughter rated the service as a 6 stars ****** I will come back and will invite persons to experience the exceptional service The food was superb Great. Great. Great. Amazing. Wonderful! Went to this resort it was over 30 of us, my cousin from England‘s birthday/family reunion. The room was excellent , beds comfortable got a courtyard view service at the pool was great entertainment at the pool was great. Housekeeping was great. Great service from everyone Except the front desk, they were Horrible, rude , not helpful .. they definitely need in-service on Customer Service. We were trying for over two months to make a reservation or get some help in planning this party. My cousin gathered all of us together and yet no one answered the phone over two months email was sent.and still No response. We were finally got some help from one of the workers who pointed us in the direction of.the buffet, The gentleman in charge, Everton was outstanding and saved the evening. Let me also point out that two of the Customer Service reps were very helpful.- Doresha David and Travis Henry. . The head chef in the morning a.k.a. Pastor outstanding and so helpful.and Dwayne. Security was also great. Our nightmare was Customer Service overall, We’re not even aware, or reluctant to tell us what the entertainment was for that evening and the evening head chef Coriam Stewart Who was very disrespectful to me Overall we were disappointed but made the best of it because we have a great family

We stayed at this resort for 7 days at the end of January 2025. The rooms were basic but clean, the beds comfy and the AC worked great. This may be a small resort but the views are gorgeous. The staff was great. This was the 9th time I had been to Jamaica, and this resort had the best food! We also signed up for the Couples Rewards and were able to spend a day at the sister resort down the street, Couples San Souci. That was a great perc as it changed it up a little and made us want to try out the other resort too at another time.

Love location, is space for improvement on service and hospitality. Let start with the good things. Eight rivers restaurant is the best, food is amazing. There is definitely there is the hand of executive chef Valentin M. Staff need training, are few amazing and some they don't have a clue. Water Staff, helpful ,friendly, amazing team. Lovely place ,all together. But . If you forget to leave tips, your room will probably be done poorly. At the bar , grate yang funny team. I dislike the way SOME team leaders treat the staff or treat the customers, Asian restaurants need attention. Food is not what is named. In general, food is not what is named, good but rong named. went for 7 nights in september, it's a decent place if you just want good enough food, strong drinks, and a comfy bed, there's nothing lux about this place. Food was mediocre, we had such a bad experience at Eight Rivers, Bayside also was not great, but the buffet and Verandah was good enough. It's definitely not the same high energy smiling crew we've had at other resorts, but no one treated us badly. Infrastructure is dated and rusted, we constantly got "clean" towels with stains on it, but bed was comfy and water was clean. I do wonder if it's cause we paid for the cheaper garden view cause all the ocean view people seem to have a way better experience.

This is a great resort for a getaway, it's peaceful and clean and has a lot to offer if you're one who likes activities. Even though I think the rooms are a bit dated, they are so clean and comfy I really doubt anyone would mind it. I had a deluxe ocean view on the forth building and the walk to and from there was really easy as it's a relatively small hotel. I'm definitely going to be going back as soon as I experience the other couple resorts.

We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View room, which I believe is located in one of the original buildings. Many of the original features—such as the floor and wall tiles, stair banisters, and finishings—have been preserved, giving the space a unique, boutique-style charm. It truly felt like a classic Jamaican experience. Both the property and the room were exceptionally clean. The staff, despite a no-tipping policy, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made an effort to remember our names and checked in on us daily. It’s thoughtful gestures like these that made our stay especially memorable. There were plenty of all-inclusive activities to enjoy. We went snorkeling, took a glass-bottom boat ride, and participated in a tie-dye shirt activity—all of which were a lot of fun. The food was excellent. The buffet changed daily and offered a variety of flavorful options. A highlight was “Jamaica Day” on Wednesdays, featuring a full Jamaican-inspired buffet and local vendors by the poolside selling souvenirs. Overall, it was a fantastic and charming place. We can’t wait to come back.

The resort was beautiful and we had so many great interactions with staff from all departments. However, there were consistently issues with other staff members and entertainment schedules. It just seemed like we were an inconvenience to some of the staff. We had a party of 14 and many of them would frequent the veggie bar for snacks. The staff there was super rude and we felt uncomfortable every time we would go there. Staff slamming their hand down in frustration when we would approach, as if we were ruining their day. We also had one particular server for dinner, who did not want to be there and made us clearly understand how much he was inconvenienced by our arrival. The daily activity schedule looked like a lot of fun, but so many things never happened. We would show up to the place that it said something was happening and no one was there. The overall inconsistency of this resort will definitely keep us from going back in the future. We made the best of our trip and I hate to be a negative reviewer, but I do feel that ownership and management needs to be aware and try to enhance the guest experience. Also, an FYI for anyone who might be going, it says "tipping prohibited" on the website but we regret not bringing much cash. Tipping is very much expected by the staff and that might have played a role in some of the unfriendly encounters. We didn't bring much cash, because we didn't plan to leave the resort and it said on their website that they were not allowed to accept tips. I felt terrible that I didn't have enough cash to meet their expectations of tipping. I know they have the ability to improve things, because there were many great experiences too. But it should definitely be made a priority, because the negative staff will eventually drag down others. I really hope improvements are made for future guests. There's so much potential for this to be a place for people to create amazing memories.

I can’t say enough good things about this resort! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we were both blown away. The staff were incredible. Always smiling, happy and the service they provided was nothing short of perfect. From room service, being served on the beach, & every restaurant- couldn’t ask for anything better. It was the perfect sized resort if you’re looking for something smaller and a little less noisy. Don’t get me wrong though, they did have some fun nightlife on the resort!!! The booze cruise was awesome. Everything was very clean and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back!

Pros: The location was not too bad. Easy to find in central area. I enjoyed breakfast and that was basically it as it relates to pros for me. Cons: As for the cons, 1. I asked to them to decorate my boyfriend’s on his birthday and they came one day after with a letter a small coffee bag with just “happy belated birthday” which was soo unfortunate because I was very detailed with my request and that was not fulfilled. 2. The building seems a bit older than the Ochi building and the layout was not what I had expected. 3. Food selection for the buffet lacked variety. It was same food selections for the days I was there and the sports bar, they need to check their food because the patty was stale. So stale I had to spit it out. 4. Maybe because of the days I stayed, entertainment was not really entertaining. I think I definitely preferred ochi rather than Mobay. My expectations for Riu Mobay was high but the expectations were not met.

I stayed at Riu Montego Bay with my mom for our birthdays, and while we met a few friendly and welcoming staff when we first arrived, our overall experience was disappointing. When we checked in, we had issues accessing our bank account due to not having international service. I asked guest services if I could use the phone to call a taxi, and one of the employees at the desk was extremely rude — speaking about me right in front of me and even using inappropriate language. As someone who has worked in hospitality for over three years, I found this behavior completely unprofessional. One of the male staff members did his best to stay polite and assist, but the situation left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. When I reported the incident, I was told the employee was spoken to, but she denied everything. Instead of a sincere resolution, the resort offered us a pack of coffee as an apology, which felt dismissive. To make matters worse, the room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. It looked like someone had used the bathroom before we arrived — there were droplets of urine on the toilet seat. I took a picture and planned to report it, but my mom was already too frustrated after a long travel day to deal with switching rooms. While housekeeping later did an excellent job during the rest of our stay and were friendly and attentive, the initial cleanliness was unacceptable. We were also placed in a room far from the main areas of the resort, requiring us to walk long distances and go up and down stairs daily. This was especially difficult for my mom, who is an older woman. Overall, while a few staff members were kind and professional, the level of service and cleanliness we experienced was far below what I’ve known from the RIU brand. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this resort, especially to those looking for a smooth, hospitable experience in Jamaica.

Went during hurricane season for a great value. All of the staff was very friendly and made an effort to be helpful. However, the specialty restaurants were very bad, the alcohol very watered down (significantly moreso than usual for all inclusives), and the beach was full of seaweed. Having said that it was easy to make the most of these limitations. Rooms (ocean suite) were nice, serviceable, and adept at keeping out noise. Blankets are thin so you may want to bring your own if you get cold easily. The buffet meals had some of the best food I’ve had at resort buffets which balances out the poor specialty restaurants. Surprisingly adequate gym.

3.5/5 stars. The entire staff was friendly and fun. The room was so nice and clean. The food was AMAZING, we tried all of the specialty restaurants and they were fabulous. The beach was okay but too small and lots of seaweed. The hotel was SO loud literally all the time no matter where you went and not relaxing. I think the hotel could do a better job at making it more relaxing for people. I would not recommend going here if you’re looking to relax. Unsure if we’d go back because of this

I’m currently staying at the Riu Montego Bay. I’m having the worse experience ever. The kitchen staff/ chef are condescending, dismissive and unprofessional. The first room I was placed in reeked of an unsanitary smell and had obvious remnants of cigarette smoke. The curtains appeared to have fecal matter on them. The room in general was dusty and smelled like moldy carpet but had no carpet. Additionally, there are roaches on the elevators and the common areas don’t appear to be clean. I’m so disappointed, insulted and disgusted by this hotel. I would’ve never imagined that such a reputable hotel would present itself in this manner. Upon speaking to the front desk manager, it was clear that he failed to maintain the integrity of the company by not accommodating my needs, and not compensating me for the awful experience. Due to the incompetency and rudeness of the kitchen staff/chef I’m going to bed hungry and on the brink of tears. Although, the front desk manager was apologetic he still allowed me to leave dissatisfied and without an immediate clear solution. I’m stuck at this hotel and I’ve wasted my money for an experience that didn’t come anywhere close to my expectations of the RiU experience. I would rather book an early flight back home and pay an unexpected crazy expense than to stay in these awful conditions and be mistreated, and dissatisfied. I have spent too much money and my sisters birthday is now ruined. This experience was awful. I don’t feel welcomed or well cared for. I’m not comfortable and this just doesn’t give luxurious. Most importantly the chef made me food with something I was allergic to after I called the hotel days prior to coming, wrote a thorough email containing my food allergies, confirmed them with the front desk and verified with the chef when my order was taken. To make matters worse, these things were acknowledged and clarified with the staff and chef that those allergens would result in anaphylactic shock; hence lead to a potential mortality. Could you imagine if I would have ate it? I don’t recommend! 0 out of 10!

The room was nice. We had a garden view room with king bed. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Just sleep and shower. Staff was friendly and attentive. The alcohol was definitely watered down. Had 7 Bob Marley's in a row to test the theory... not even a buzz. Would buy alcohol at the airport next time. The main buffet and Asian fusion restaurant were good. Didn't eat anywhere else at the resort. Which there were more restaurant choices.

Overall iyr stay was fun. It's a party vibe and the rooms were good. The elevators were not great...very old and seem to struggle in operations...at times we thought wenwere stuck in the elevator. No room service offered, and no beachside service. The buffet was pretty good the Chinese and Italian restaurants...not so much. While the drinks are included as part only the all inclusive...they had no top shelf liquor options and the luquor in the rooms are not a great selection. Location to the airport is within 10 mins and because it's adult only it is 420 friendly. All and all we had a good time, undecided on whether I will be returning to this specific location

This was my second visit to the Royalton in Negril. I’m happy to say that the amazing staff and entertainment team bought us back to the resort and didn’t fail to disappoint. Special shoutouts to the fitness team (specifically Jovie, Garrison & Alpha), and the vibe team (Starfire, Astro, Tiny, Lucky, Trouble, DJ Smart, MJ & Prince); thank you to all of the old crew for welcoming us back and being the life of the resort! I also want to say thank you to the bar staff who work so hard every single day to check in and make sure that we were having an enjoyable experience! Just to name a few; Neckola, Horace, Romaine, Arvil & Natasha. Despite the positive experiences from staff, I did not have a great experience in other areas of my holiday. During our first week, we experienced an issue with our hotel room door not being able to lock. On closer inspection, it was as if it’d been tampered with and it took 2 different people and almost 3 hours to fix this. This did not set a good tone for the rest of the holiday. Another minor teething problem included heavy promotions on additional paid facilities such as the spa, excursions and premium alcohol (which were all mostly overpriced). Coming to an all inclusive resort, we shouldn’t feel obliged to spend more on facilities we didn’t factor into our budget. Each day we would get asked multiple times by the same people and it got boring pretty quickly. Our intention was to have a relaxing break, not be hassled by promoters trying to make us spend money on things we didn’t want to. I expected to come back to the resort and give the same 5-star rating as before, but standards and quality have dropped and as a result I cannot give a rating higher than 3 (which may even be too generous). As mentioned, the wonderful staff were the main reason for rebooking but unfortunately this cannot overwrite the overall negative experience, and I will not be considering coming back to the resort for a third time unless things improve.

The Royalton Negril is everything you want an all-inclusive to be. It has the best beaches, service, people, food, and coffee. I treated myself to Diamond Club. Every morning, I'd be the first one waiting for the coffee shop to open and would take one back to my room to enjoy my ocean view, followed by my daily snorkel on the reef. I took full advantage of the free kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. I treated myself to a catamaran snorkeling excursion to Rick's Cafe, where I jumped off the cliffs and watched the sunset. I was in bed most nights by 10pm and eager to start my day by 6am so I can't speak much about the evening entertainment. I came in off season and it was exactly what I needed, quiet. My butler's Tianna and Dean and their manager Delray were very friendly and attentive to my needs. They really go that extra mile for their guests and make you feel at home. Andrew the cabana "boy" was so kind, and wonderful at his job, working long hours in the hot sun making sure the guests stay hydrated and fed. He was so caring when I got stung by a jellyfish and provided first aid. I really appreciated his professionalism. I will certainly be back!

I recently returned to The Hideaway at Royalton Negril in 2025 for my cousin’s wedding, after having an amazing experience here back in 2022 — Sadly, this time around was a complete disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the energy was completely different. The staff didn’t seem happy or motivated, and after speaking with a few of them, I understood why — they’re underpaid and frustrated. It really shows in the quality of service and overall mood of the resort. On top of that, staff constantly asked for tips, which made things uncomfortable and awkward. Most of the restaurants were closed, and the few that were open had very limited menus — many items listed weren’t even available. I understand it’s the off-season, but this level of unavailability is unacceptable for a resort in this price range. The food that was available was mediocre at best. The rooms were terrible — they smelled like mildew, our shower had standing water, and the toilet barely flushed. It honestly felt like zero effort was being made to maintain the rooms. While renovations are currently happening (which are much needed), guests shouldn’t have to pay full price to stay in such poor conditions. The only positive I can mention is that the property itself is well-kept — the landscaping and grounds are beautiful and clean. But that alone doesn’t make up for the overall decline in quality and service. I left feeling extremely disappointed and disheartened. I will never return to this resort and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Disappointed. The resort needs improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms and supplies such as wash cloths, soap, extra blankets etc are scarce. Our room was not cleaned one day which resulted in our room service plates sitting for two days. There’s only 1 pool for adults (unless you are a Diamond Club member), there’s a splash area for the children but I didn’t see or experience any children themed activities. The dining hall food is repetitive along with the poolside grill. Didn’t get to experience any restaurants because all reservations were full and only half the restaurants on the resort were open. Some staff were friendly, while others acted as if they could not see you or hear you. My credit card was charged twice at check in, but was only provided with an email to contact in order to get it resolved. I paid cash for room charges and was told they don’t have change, so the cashier just didn’t give me any. The pool towels are always out. Some drinks were limited at the poolside bar. The BUG stayed in my tub for two days and I’m not sure why the black things or someone else’s hair would be on my bed. Bathrooms were not cleaned, I purposely left soap scum on the sink (it was there my entire stay). Oh yeah, housekeeping must have forgotten they were changing the pillow case because she simply took it off and didn’t replace it. I don’t know if the workers are tired or overwhelmed but it’s not working out. This was my mom’s first experience at an all inclusive resort and her response is “I’ll stick to my cruises.” The views were pretty but I also feel like the locals are doing anything to get your $.

I stayed at this resort in Jamaica for a wedding, and my experience was absolutely terrible from start to finish. When we booked, we were promised a room with two twin beds, but upon arrival, we were told the pull-out couch would serve as the second bed. Not only was the pull-out couch dirty, but it also had bugs coming from it. The staff said they would switch our room, but that never happened. We also found a roach in the bathroom, which was extremely unsettling. The shower was broken, the fridge didn’t keep drinks cold, and the air conditioning barely worked. On top of that, we couldn’t get a single dinner reservation at any of the restaurants during our stay. To make matters worse, some of the bar staff near the beach were rude and unhelpful, which made relaxing by the ocean unpleasant. Overall, this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. The room was unsanitary, the amenities were poorly maintained, and the service was disappointing. I would not recommend this resort to anyone and will definitely not be returning.

⭐ 1 out of 5 stars Disappointing Experience at a Beautiful Resort We stayed at the Royalton Resort in Negril from October 17th to 21st for a wedding. The resort itself is beautiful — the rooms, the pool, and the grounds are all well kept and impressive. Unfortunately, the staff’s attitude completely ruined what could have been an amazing experience. Our check-in was a nightmare. The staff at the front desk seemed confused and unorganized. The first girl who started helping us said she’d be right back — and never returned. Then someone else took over but didn’t finish the process either. One of the front desk attendants, Monique, was especially rude, rolling her eyes and acting as if we were bothering her for simply checking in. After a long day of travel, this kind of treatment was unacceptable. No guest should be made to feel like a burden. It’s a shame because the property itself is lovely, but the service was so poor that I would not recommend this resort to anyone. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I had to say something.

Beautiful room, stayed in the adults only section. Great food, pools are ok. Beach is the best part of the resort other than the nudists on either sides of the property. Would come and bring my children back if there wasn't naked men standing on the beach next to the resort.

This is our 5th time to Ochi! We love it here. The staff is excellent! Odane is the best butler here! Jazeene is also a wonderful butler!! We have them every year! Kadia the bartender at the piano bar is excellent. She greeted us daily with her beautiful smile!!

Disappointed by the Decline in Standards at Sandals Ochi Having previously enjoyed a wonderful stay at Sandals Ochi, I was disheartened to find that the resort no longer lives up to the high standards it once upheld. Unfortunately, our recent experience fell short in several key areas, particularly in customer service and overall guest experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a room that had a strong mildew odor. While the staff did accommodate our request to change rooms without issue, the new room presented its own challenges — no hot water, flickering lights that eventually failed completely, and repeated maintenance issues throughout our stay. The level of service from the butler team was especially disappointing. Unlike our previous visit, where our butler Romeo went above and beyond to ensure we were informed of daily activities, had snacks and refreshments awaiting us, and felt genuinely cared for, this time our assigned butlers were largely unresponsive. Requests were met with audible sighs over the phone, and even basic tasks — such as completing our weekly planner or cleaning our private pool — were either delayed or ignored entirely. The resort grounds, once immaculately maintained, now appear neglected. We observed more staff members on-site, yet many seemed disengaged, often standing around in conversation rather than attending to guests or upkeep. The golf carts, previously reserved for transporting guests and staff with operational duties, are now frequently used by employees for personal transit, leaving guests to walk without assistance. When I asked one staff member for a ride, I was told, “That’s not how it works,” though he reluctantly agreed to help. Room service was unreachable despite multiple attempts, and the dining options have noticeably diminished in variety and quality. The revised menu lacks the diversity we once appreciated, which further added to our dissatisfaction. Given the premium price point of this resort, we expected a level of service and hospitality that reflects the Sandals brand. Sadly, this experience has left us deeply disappointed, and we are now exploring alternative all-inclusive resorts for future vacations. Sandals Ochi was once a standout destination — but regrettably, it is no longer what it used to be

Our stay here was simply amazing. The resort is beautiful and the service was excellent. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful, but we especially want to praise the entertainment team. **Rosario L** went above and beyond to make our vacation so much fun and special. He gave us a great tour of the property and made sure we understood where everything was. Rosario L, always went out of his way to say hello to us and make sure we were having a great time. We can't wait to come back.

Spent fabulous time doing gym work, Pilates, aqua aerobics and stretching classes with Shereka who was absolutely amazing. Fabulous instructor, helpful and great fun to spend time with. You must visit her classes if you stay at Sandals Ohio Rios. At the beach sports centre Glenroy was super helpful and informative, big thank you to him for the help with my paddle boarding Thank you Shereka and Glenroy

This was the best trip ever… when I tell you Scott and Derron pulled out all the stops. We wanted for nothing. They were so genuine and always cared with a smile. The staff from beginning to end was so warm and welcoming. Not once did we walk anywhere without being greeted with a smile. I love the fact I didn’t have to wait forever for cocktails and the swim bars weren’t crowded. We stayed hillside and it was amazing. Loved the food and for a much as I requested… I could go on and on! Just know that we will be back to Ochi for sure Highly recommend this resort. Would give 100 stars plus if it were an option

This was my first time at a resort and in Jamaica and I had the best experience here. Everyone is so nice and I’m lucky to have met new people. Panda and Romario made my experience at the resort so much better, their fun positive energy was contagious. Akeem our photographer was amazing. He was very patient with us when taking our photos and I appreciate the helpful posing tips! Jerome was also another staff that was so kind and attentive with us. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! Most definitely coming back!

The property itself is nice and our room was clean altho they do need to change the sheets more often and the bed was really hard. Left you with a sore back. The laundry service is hundreds of dollars for a load of laundry?? So weird. The food is just okay. The website hypes it up but it basically tastes like cafeteria food. The best part was the beach and the pool and the gym. The worst part was the staff. Half of them were nice and half of them were just so rude and lazy even when you are a really nice and low maintenance guest. There needs to be a whole revamp with the team because how half of them treat guests is not okay. The woman at the activity booth that signs you up for inclusive sailing and snorkel tours needs to be fired. She refuses to do her job even tho it’s super easy. Is extremely rude and even tried yelling at us. It’s very unacceptable. To keep a vacation experience consistent the staff at the first sign of unfriendliness or laziness needs to be confronted. This really could be 5 stars but deal with your staff’s attitude and it will be a much better experience for everyone.

We spent a week during the holidays there. I think it is a fine resort. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: -The staff were very attentive, kind, and always willing to help. - The resort was very clean. -The shower had good water pressure and worked well. -The food was not excellent but decent overall. The jerk chicken stand near the beach was a highlight, and the smoothie bar was good, though it didn’t have many options. I also liked the ice-cream machine in the buffet! The drinks were okay, but higher-quality liquors came at an extra cost. Cons: -The resort is quite far from Montego Bay Airport. If you’re traveling with a tour, keep in mind that the bus will stop at multiple resorts to drop off other passengers before reaching yours. The ride typically takes around t3 hours, but due to an issue, ours took 4! If that sounds too long, you might want to consider booking a private transfer—we did that on the way back, and it was much more convenient. -Although the resort is large, it feels a bit old and outdated. Some parts need renovation. However, it is kept very clean. -I appreciated the resort’s quiet atmosphere as an adults-only getaway, but at times it felt too lifeless. The entertainments were limited and not very engaging, and there were no special programs for Christmas. -Despite being in a tropical country, the fruit selection was surprisingly limited—mostly just cantaloupe and pineapple, with the occasional addition of watermelon or apples. There were no lemons or limes anywhere in the resort! I once ordered a mojito, but they couldn’t make it because they had no mint. The restaurant options also lacked variety.

This is was my 3rd time in Jamaica and second stay at Jewel Paradise. This was a solo trip that I was taking to relax and celebrate my birthday. It's the perfect spot to unwind and relax with peace and quiet! The staff was always accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The bartenders were all nice and entertaining. I want to give a special thank you to my two favorite bartenders. Renard and Marlon went above and beyond to make my stay special. They kept me laughing and smiling and I enjoyed my time with them. They made my vacation for me! I had a wonderful Holiday and can't wait to return.

Below standard rooms. Outdated and over used. Toilets flushed 50% of time and shower leaked everywhere. Liquor drinks were basic. Anything upgraded was being charged at 8 US dollars. Beer was being served warm at best and in a dirty plastic cup. Food was also basic with no effort by this resort to do anything special or different at Christmas breakfast or dinner. Total lack of effort. This resort seems to cater to the “day use” locals from 9 am - 6 pm. Good luck getting service by staff at the restaurants near the pools because they will be busy catering to the local users above the tourists who have paid huge to be there. Totally a frustrating resort to be at for 10 days. Feel cheated out of a large amount of $$. This was our 4th time to Jamaica and we have never experienced such substandard food. No seafood anywhere unless you want to pay for a private meal including a bottle of wine, but get ready to pay the “extra” again. This resort is all about saving $$ and overcharging for what you believed you already paid for. I would not recommend this place for a vacation. Go elsewhere!!

The Jewel Paradise Cove is a small outdated all inclusive resort and hours drive from Sangster International Airport. This is an older resort so you’re not going to find the “most updated anything” the rooms are older and a bit beat up in some areas though they are very clean. The food is kinda of hit or miss. I’ve always enjoyed myself. I come for the scenery and location. Tons of trees and plants. You really feel like you’re in Jamaica. Yes I wish it were more modern in areas but I do love this place even though I’m giving it less than 4 stars. I’m just being honest! Come to the Jewel for beauty enjoy the quiet in this truly unique property!

What an amazing time we had! The staff, service and the FOOD were the best we have experienced. This was our 3rd time to Jamaica and we love it! We stayed at Sandals and at Jewel the food was 5++. Our bartender that we were with Raymond A+++++++++++ all the way around. All the staff was amazing and helpful and our room was cleaned every single day! The views were stunning! This is our new go to resort. We are already planning on next vacation for Oct 2025 with friends we met at the resort. If you are thinking whether or not to book it.....BOOK IT!!! You will not be disappointed at all!

Lovely visit Parking was a bit of a challenge for check in. The Front desk was really professional and friendly. The place never felt over crowded and there was always beach chairs . The glass bottom boats was included in our package. The guides were knowledgeable. Food was OK nothing to write about. Overall was a lovely weekend.

Staff are outstanding - friendly, professional, nothing is too much just such a wonderful group of employees. Whoever is hiring and training is doing an excellent job. The staff are what makes the stay a 5/5. The entrance and surroundings are beautiful. Some areas of improvement: 1. Signage - the sign on main road needs lights and/or be made larger as easily missed. 2. Drive up to hotel - road needs resurfacing and plants/trees as looks like waste land. 3. Staircases to rooms - re paint needed. 4. Room - although very clean the room (133) was very dated. I was warned in advanced but always like to experience for myself, I have to agree. The bathroom was very clean. Unfortunately, the tropical storm caused leak in room and you could see a large water bubble on wall and brown streaks on wall which we assumed was from water leaking as same area we had water leaking on us. Disappointedly the AC has to be kept on if not the floor became wet (end of sheets were wet ) although yes nice to have AC after coming in from sun at night for us the sound from AC and temperature dropped so it was too uncomfortable to keep on whilst we slept. Unfortunately even after 2 visits by maintenance our TV remote did not work for the duration of our stay (1 week). 5. Food - lovely and good choices. The cakes were delicious. However in the cafe the food was always just about warm. We had to ask to have the food heated. The burgers from grill section were delicious. 6. Location - a bit too secluded for us, we prefer being able to go for walks when on holiday. Overall...I would recommend if you want to be away from a lively town like Ochi Rios. Although, I have stayed in more up to date 4 star rooms this is compensated by the wonderful staff. I want to say a Big Thank You to them all.

I stayed there with my 2 kids. They said my room was an upgrade from what we reserved, and it felt very much like a downgrade. Beds were small, room was dirty with a view of construction work, and smelled like dirty mop water. Shower head full of gunk. Took 3 days of constantly asking for towels to get enough for me and my 2 kids. It was 3 of us staying there. The lady at the deli was very rude to us and rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth anytime me or my sons asked for anything at the deli. But she seemed nice to other people. The private beach was very nice, good bartenders and the lady cooking on the beach grill was good too. The servers at the buffet restaurant were so lovely. They had a Jamaica night while we were there and that was very nice also. Lifeguards were fantastic. This would have been a much better experience with better accommodations. I would book again if I went back, but would bring my own towels, cleaning supplies, and maybe book a family room.

had an amazing stay at Seagarden Resort! From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff treated me like a queen. My room (1414) was clean, tidy, and the cleaning lady was very nice, making sure everything was perfect during my stay. The driver they assigned me, Devin, was absolutely wonderful he was kind, professional, and made sure I felt safe at all times. Everywhere around the resort was clean and well-kept, which really made the experience relaxing. The food was decent, but the drinks were absolutely amazing! Don’t believe the bad comments I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely make this my go-to resort.

The grounds on the property is beautiful. The service is awful. The rooms and most of the building structures are old looking and could use paint and some fixtures. The food is okay, breakfast is usually good. The beach is beautiful😍The swimming area is very shallow and calm. The best thing about staying here was the beach and the only place I would go if I go back here. I don't recommend this resort.

I enjoyed my stay. Complimentary restaurant buffet, drinks bar, snack bar (beef patties, icecream etc), grill, and karaoke. My kids and I shared a luxury oceanfront suite. The experience felt royal like an immaculate gift. We woke up daily to the tranquil sound of the ocean, and the smell of fresh sea breeze from the balcony. The staff was utterly amazing! At the restaurant, they made my daughter's birthday so special. Six of them sang to her and presented her with a mini cake. She was really surprised but extremely happy to be celebrated.

It was my first time at this resort and i had a great time. Giovanni checked me in and his service was top notch. I spent 2 nights at the resort, the food was good as well. The only downside was that I had another reservation that I cancelled but could get a refund for , I was a bit disappointed upon arrival but Antoinette from reservations and Giovanni at the front desk made me decide to stay , I loved their approach to service and I can personally say that they are an asset to the company, especially Giovanni who went above and beyond. I really hope that that the issue with my refund for the cancelled reservation will be dealt with abruptly. Regards Jean James

For the price the food is really good, good quality traditional Jamaican food. The comment below regarding the beach bar food only opening to 5:30pm is a little unfair as there are 4 other locations to get food from on the resort until late at night. This place makes sense if you’re on a budget although still want standards.

This is my first experience and I am not satisfied. The check in and check out processes were a disaster as communication is definitely not a strong point for this hotel. The bathroom was not acceptable. It had clear mold on the grout on the bath tub. The only plus was the restaurant . The staff was courteous there and the food is decent

Special shoutouts to: • Lyana, Krystal, Sharon, Alecia, and Bianca at the lobby bar – you made every visit so enjoyable • Gregory at the pool bar and Romain at the night bar – your service was exceptional • Omar at the steakhouse and Samuel at the Italian restaurant – the à la cartes were absolutely top-notch, and Samuel got us in seamlessly • Edgar and Junior, the chefs – your dishes were outstanding, and we could tell you put so much care into every plate • Laura by the pool and beach – thank you for your friendly and attentive service • Judith at the beach – the little touches, like bringing me water to stay hydrated, made a big difference Every interaction went above and beyond expectations, and it’s clear the team genuinely cares about making guests feel special. The à la cartes were excellent, the drinks were perfect, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet luxurious. The beach was outstanding. Water was so warm, no seaweed at all. We left feeling so impressed and grateful. Riu Palace Tropical Bay is a must-visit, and the staff alone make it unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back.

This place was fantastic! The beach is pristine, the food was incredible and the people were amazing! Everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend visiting. It was the best all inclusive that we've been to. Also if you have food allergies the staff are super accomodating and it was really wonderful to have gluten-free options.

Loved everything about this place This is the best Riu I’ve been to so far. The food was great for it to be resort food. I usually starve on vacation but I was so stuffed from everything. Staff is wonderful and attentive My rooms were cleaned so well every day and were consistently checked on by staff. I will definitely be back even tho it’s a tad far from the airport

We spent 2 weeks here. We also had our wedding here. Sophia the wedding planner was amazing and made our day simply perfect. The hotel was lovely. Servers in the buffet were fantastic an absolute credit to the hotel. Santol, Karen and Damien are amazing rhey absolutelymade our stay a true pleasure. Bar staff were super friendly especially krystal in the lobby bar. Our maid did a fab job on our room daily and a pleasureto chat with. I would definitely stay here again just for the server's! They absolutely made our time there unforgettable. The beaches are amazing. We will definitely be back

The hotel is a little worn but not in anyway a deterrent for not going. Hotel staff are top notch and the reason this was our 4th visit to this resort. The resort is smaller, so it's easy to navigate. The service from the wait staff was impeccable. From the grounds keepers to the maid staff, everyone was friendly. We will be back in 2026 to visit our friends.

Last minute girls trip required us to choose this resort as a last "resort" but it worked out. Some of the staff were pleasant, but what I enjoyed most were the options at the buffet for dinner, lunch, and breakfast. The beach and pools were also kept impeccably clean, and staff to address room concerns were always on hand. What I did not like was how the sink was on a weird slant so that excess water would accumulate with every use, the inability to get a reservation to any of the restaurants on site for our party of 7, and the inconsistency in service from one staff member to another (some extremely friendly, while others acted like we were bothering them). Location is 1 hour and 20 mins from montego bay airport, but if you book through the hotel you can get a free transfer, however the service of the driver was a little less than I wanted for my ride back, so I opted to use Tony's Tour for our return to the airport upon checkout.

We have holidayed in many destinations and hotels and this holiday was the best holiday we’ve had in years, not only was the beach amazing but the staff at the hotel were the best. We were welcomed warmly and taken care of by the staff, shout out to Krystal, Bianca and Alecia at the lobby bar, Andrew at the adults only swim up bar, Jelani who bought our drinks regularly to our sunbeds and Maxwell who took care of us in the buffet restaurant at breakfast and lunchtime. Mikeisha our cleaner was so friendly and did a great job of cleaning our room. We spent more time at the beach than we usually would on holiday due to the beach being absolutely beautiful. The buffet restaurant was the best buffet we’ve ever had at a hotel. We can’t wait to return to this hotel again, it may become a regular destination.

Review of RIU Palace Jamaica From the moment we walked in the door until the day we left, the staff at RIU Palace Jamaica was absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and always went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The property itself was very well maintained — we constantly saw cleaners out and about ensuring the grounds were spotless, safe, and inviting. The entertainment crew was truly the highlight of our trip. They brought so much energy, fun, and laughter that they made our stay incredibly memorable. The buffet was another standout, with an incredible variety of options. My tip: go within the first hour for the freshest selection. The drinks were also excellent — strong, flavorful, and plentiful. The beach is on the smaller side, but it’s kept very clean and still makes for a relaxing spot to unwind. Our Junior Suite with an ocean view was absolutely breathtaking — clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the mosquito spraying. There was no warning given when they sprayed, and as someone with severe lung issues, the smoke was overwhelming. It even set off the hotel’s emergency system, which shows how strong it was. A simple heads-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, though, RIU Palace Jamaica exceeded expectations and gave us a vacation to remember. Between the staff, entertainment, food, and stunning views, it’s a place I would absolutely recommend — just be mindful of the spraying if you have sensitivities.

Despite a rocky start to our stay, we had such a wonderful time. I’ll start with the good bc our overall experience was amazing. The location was nice bc after a long 12 hours of travel is was a quick 10 minute ride to the resort, the resort is clean and is constantly maintained by staff all day long. The entertainment team AMAZING! Genius, Astro, String Bean, Denaro, DJ Unstoppable, Bubbles, & Mario these guys work super hard but keep the fun times going. We enjoyed the daily pool dance/aerobics, games, and evening entertainment. For those of you making such a commotion about Riu being loud and for people who just want to party, you definitely did not do your research. Riu is a hotel that thrives on their entertainment so it’s your fault for not choosing the right hotel for you. For dining Biggie Don gave us incredible service nightly and she seemed to be training Rhonda which did a good job as well. I’ll end with the reason it was 4 vs 5 stars for us…after traveling a long overnight 12 hours from California, we were told we were too early for checkin (11am), we upgraded to an ocean view room and was told that they will try and get it ready quickly for us. They gave us our bracelet and we went to go get a drink and enjoy some lunch. We returned 12:30 and told us it still wasn’t ready but trying to get it ready. We sat in the lobby from 12:30 until 3:15 and literally watched every single person get checked in and escorted to their rooms. We asked about our room another 3x until they changed our room for the 3rd time and at 3:15 (15 minutes after check in time) took us to our rooms. That is not the proper way to treat your guests and not the first impression you want to give. If you are looking for a nice resort with a lot of activities then this is the place for you!!

We celebrated our anniversary at Riu Palace Jamaica and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. The resort itself is beautiful, but what truly made our stay astounding were the amazing staff members who went above and beyond to make us feel special. I especially want to recognize Chef Cindy, she went far beyond her role.To our surprise, Chef Cindy went out of her way during dinner to bring us a cake, making our anniversary evening extra memorable. That gesture may seem small, but it showed her genuine heart, thoughtfulness, and dedication to making guests feel valued. She is a true asset to Riu, and I sincerely hope her leadership sees how important she is to the team and overall guest experience. Every morning, Khadene crafted fresh juices and even made a special juice just for me—it became one of the highlights of my mornings. At the steakhouse restaurant, Nikki, the greeter, kindly accommodated us with a reservation when we didn’t realize one was required, ensuring we didn’t miss out on a wonderful meal. And each morning, Kimberly greeted us with a smile while making the most delicious cappuccinos at the lobby Cafe. Every single interaction showed genuine care and hospitality. The staff at Riu Palace Jamaica made us feel truly welcomed and celebrated. We cannot thank them enough and highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to create lasting memories.

Had a Ball! 🌴 Everyone here is so nice, and the place is absolutely beautiful. The food is really good—though honestly, it’s even better on the Montego Bay side. Luckily, if you’re staying at the Palace, you can visit all the sides. The only catch is you can’t eat dinner over there. Overall, I’d still give this resort a 10/10. My only complaints are that the pool closes way too early—it shuts down at 5 PM every day. I think that’s crazy! Especially since the DJ is there until about 4:30, and once he leaves, the vibe just dies. They might as well keep it open until at least 6 or 7. Other than that, everything was really nice, and I’d definitely recommend it. 🌺✨

Our vacation was met with great service everyday. My birthday was celebrated well. The steel band experience was awesome. The hotel entertainment crew were the best. Food was great everyday. There were different foods to choose from each day. A few minor issues: lack of wash rags on most of the days. The waterfall shower head needs replacing.

We Loved the resort! Friendly staff, the resort was clean, food was great. Shout out to the entertainment guys! The only complaints we had was not enough cover for the beds and there was no microwaves. Overall Great Resort and Staff. Honest people too. My husband lost his wallet on the beach and the staff logged it and one of the staff saw my husband looking for it and recognize him and returned it to him. We will back.

If we could put 10 stars for the service we would✨✨✨✨✨✨ Riu Palace Jamaica has become like our home away from home. We were celebrating our birthdays & knew this hotel was our number 1 choice. We had some hiccups at check in (a policy they have that definitely needs to change), but the service we received from the wonderful staff over ride those issues. Nicky who works at the restaurants, Riu needs more staff like her, she makes you feel so welcome & goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable & happy. Horace was superb too and so many others that makes us feel at home. Audley is so great too for breakfast and lunch. I admire how the staff knows their guests & pays attention. Riu Palace Jamaica have our hearts & will always be our number 1 choice in Jamaica 🇯🇲

We love this place and will keep coming back yearly. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I gave 3 stars for the location only because it's an 90 minute ride from the airport on the opposite side of the road and the roads are so small and narrow and the people drive crazy there and I'm used to driving in NY City. If this is on your bucket list or you're just curious you've gotta go.

100% Best resort to stay at in Jamaica. My home away from home. Dive team is awesome. Everyone is super friendly. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Love the entertainment and games. Fire show is so much fun!! We’ve been 7 times. Only negative/ NOTHING drys out here, could use some dryers for guests and fans in the bathroom to get the moisture out of the room quicker, but I know it’s a climate issue, not the resort itself. Love this place. Will be back.

Hedo is a perfect example of "if you know, you know". The staff and the quality of your time spent here is impossible to compare to anywhere else. They ruin future vacations for you in the best way possible. How can you go anywhere else after a trip back "home"? And we always have the definition of VIP treatment from our favorite staff and entertainers. We love Shannakaye, Shanoia, Sassy, Mowayne, Ricardo, Omar, Kameesha, Chantel, Natanga, Marlene, Steven and so many others. Lora and Carmen at the Kama Sutra Palace made sure that we had an incredible experience connecting with ourselves and each other and will always be requested for our future visits. We know to expect our trips to be better every time we visit again. And we can never imagine how that's even possible. But it is and it happens every time. We can never get back soon enough.

Themes and activities could be better. Food was better than my last visit in 2019. More authentic Jamaican selections, Loved that. Long drive. JA needs more roads and bridges. Overall it's mostly clean, welcoming and worth a visit every so often.

The only flaw at Hedonism II is you have to put your clothes on after, to go back home. The staff are all amazing, from the front desk at check in to the nude side beach keeper, keeping the beach raked every day. The place for the most part is well maintained. Staff was friendly, and our house keeper Mrs. Raquel made shure our room was perfect every day. The worst part of our whole trip was having to put our clothes back on and head home.

I’ve been here almost 20 times since 2008. Here are my favourite things: Naturalism and being naked. Do what you want where you want and wear whatever the heck you want. It’s a safe, non-judgemental space and has something for everyone! There is no pressure to ‘play’ here at all. People come from all over the world. Enjoy it all - Quiet private cabanas, play-room by the pool, hot tub, romping shop, sexology classes, parties at all hours. I’ve done it all over the years, quiet private balcony stay, prude side, rude side, full-on steamy exchanges. Every time I go it’s different people and a different energy. I’m not a huge fan of the groups, the rooms, the food or even the staff and entertainment (but that’s just me). I like to please myself and when it comes to pleasing yourself and living your best life - this is as good as it gets!

Your room type and location on the resort can have an affect on your stay. This isn’t my first time here so I’ve experienced different rooms/locations. They have some construction going on in one area near the clothing optional area and it looked a mess. I would’ve immediately had my room changed! The food is good, the entertainment staff members are very engaging and all of the hospitality staff were amazing. When you feel the need to let your hair down, be catered to and be in a non-judgement environment this is the place.

Everything about Travelers Beach Resort was fantastic. My son & I stayed in a two bed first floor rom for 5 nights in June, we had the time of our life. The resort is small, tidy, & I felt secure there. The ladies & gentleman at the front desk were helpful & friendly, the maintenance men & housekeeping ladies were kind! Ours servers were always top notch! We felt so blessed to have found this magical little place!

I had a fantastic time staying at 'Travellers'. The place is amazing with leafy colourful auroras and fabulous views. Easy access to the white sandy beach, on site swimming pool, gym and other entertainment facilities too. An extremely beautiful, peaceful, calm and tranquil place. All of the staff there were wonderful, friendly, pleasant and approachable. Always ready to help and assist if needed. I have already recommended 'Travellers' to family and friends.

It is always a pleasure to visit Travellers when I visit home. It’s an even greater feeling to be valued and remembered. The Wellingtons have done an amazing job selecting the staff- they truly do enhance the experience. The hotel is located near Negril town centre, right on the beach and in a tropical garden. The grounds are beautifully maintained, they have a full service gym, refreshing bar and delicious food. I don’t know what else is to be desired. This is my fifth trip to the resort and they won’t get rid of me. I tell everyone who visits my hometown to go to Traveller's if they desire a unique and personal Jamaican experience! Really nice resort. Wonderful views for watching the sunset. Location on the beach is great and the supermarket is walking distance. The nightly entertainment including karaoke, a DJ and singer was very good. Our room with a kitchenette needs to be upgraded. There were no cupboards to store utensils and dinnerware. We were told they are in the process of doing more upgrades.

We loved this hotel. Right on the beach. The pool is great with a swim up bar. The rooms are comfortable, clean & staff is incredible & so accommodating. The grounds keepers keep the landscaping on point and you can tell everyone took pride in what they did. The restaurant onsite is amazing and you’ll find it is one of the best on the 7 mile beach. The view you get during breakfast, lunch or dinner is hard to beat. We like everything about this hotel!

We stayed here with my family for a quick getaway, where we checked out today, the and room, the service, the food and atmosphere was amazing. I must also add that today, I happened to leave two items at the hotel when I checked out rushing to another part of the island for a wedding, and when I noticed, we were so deep into our drive that it was not possible to turn around. Upon calling the hotel, the lady I spoke with (I cannot recall her name but she was amazing) made sure that she found a solution for me. She was able to find a taxi guy who was already heading in the direction to carry the items to me. If this isn’t customer service, I’m not sure what is! I am so appreciative of the service we received, because it was not required however they made it happen, and I am forever grateful to them! Travelers, thank you for doing such a great job of hiring each member of your team. Every member we interacted with provided the best service!

We were stuck at Travellers in the middle of Melissa, a category 5 hurricane Travellers kept us safe all along. We had water, electricity, food, and wifi. The staff agreed to work, even though some of them lost their homes and couldn’t check on their loved ones. We had a meeting to prepare for the hurricane; they presented a whole protocole to make sure we were all safe. They gave us umbrellas, candles et took us to the grocery store to withdraw cash and buy food. They helped us book our taxi back to the airport and extend our stay We have heard other tourists say that they had been abandoned by their resort without food, water and electricity. But Travelers was just a miracle for us. Everyone was so friendly and we got along so well with the staff, we can’t wait to be back!!

My husband ( a Jamacia Native) and I spent a full week at this resort for our anniversary and it was spectacular. From the door we felt right at home. From the assistance of the front desk ladies, wonderful service and cuisine in all of the dining areas, creativity and cleanliness of the housekeepers ; we were treated swell. There was always something fun to experience in the evenings as well. The beach area is crisp and clean with clear seas .We're planning to experience the other campuses across the island as we speak. Thank you all for one the best vacations ever.

This is our second time at this property and it never disappoints! Relaxing vibe and great service. All of the water sports are included so it’s great to go on a catamaran cruise one day, sail the next, enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, peddle boarding (aka water bike) and more! We were there for 5 days and each day was different with the activities, entertainment and dining options. This time we were able to attend the repeaters dinner which was a luxury cocktail reception, upscale dining, topped off with a beach bonfire. This was the perfect, romantic way to celebrate our anniversary after honeymooning here 10 years ago!

We had a wonderful stay at Couples Negril and would definitely recommend it, especially as a honeymoon destination. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and set on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever experienced. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking every evening — a true highlight of our trip. The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and flavorful dishes throughout the restaurants and bars. The service at the restaurants was generally decent, but there were times when some of the wait staff seemed uninterested or not very engaged, which took away from the experience a bit. One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up early and heading to the beach — not just for the calm, crystal-clear water, but also for the marine life! If you go out into the water in the morning, you’ll often see stingrays, crabs, and lots of fish swimming near the shore. It was such a fun and unexpected surprise that made our mornings extra special. Unfortunately, we did have one unpleasant moment during our stay — when we returned to our room after dinner one night, we found a cockroach on the bed. It was definitely gross and not something you ever want to deal with while on vacation. That said, housekeeping came quickly, changed the sheets, and handled the situation well. Despite that one issue, we still had an incredible time. The beach alone is enough to make us want to return. The vibe is romantic and relaxed, the scenery is unforgettable, and it’s a perfect place for a honeymoon or couples getaway. We would absolutely come back. Thank you Couples!

Wonderful staff and amazing location. Food was good. Drinks watered down, as expected. As for the activities not included in the all inclusive offer, like the spa or scuba diving, ridiculous rip-off prices! The free airport shuttle is a whole different story! This is how you start your experience at Couples Resorts. We had to cough up tips before even being let on the shuttle bus! The porter then even stated that you should remember to make it enough for two porters! They make more in a hour than most professionals! Would I go here again? No.

Beautiful resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were friendly, food was great with good selections, drinks were great also. Our only complaint was that we didn’t book a longer stay, six days were not enough. Plan to return next year!!

Beach location is excellent and very private. All hotel amenities are a short walk away. We got a great room with a really nice ocean view. Hotel has a lot of include activities, like the catamaran ride and snorkeling boat. Scuba diving is also available free of charge for certified divers. They go on two boat dives per day. You’ll probably need the advanced open water cert to go to the nicer spots. Drinks were subpar unfortunately. They don’t really know how to prepare a lot of them. Food quality is good, but available selection is poor. Was really disappointed to see the main buffet become a la carte restaurant of several days, with an even more limited selection. Also tried to get two sides and server got mad (I had never seen anything like this in an AI resort). I really liked the small and hidden coffee shop behind the lobby stairs. My wife also had a great experience and the spa.

We stayed in building 6 Great location. Great beach, staff was perfect. 5 nights were too short. Can't wait until next year! 🇯🇲❤️

An incredible stay. The setting is magnificent, everything has been designed to make us live in a magnificent setting. The team is helpful and attentive, you will want for nothing. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport and on an iconic boulevard of the city, which makes getting around easy. The food, activities and events offered will allow you to fully enjoy Jamaica. Thank you to the entire team at the S Hotel, I highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about S Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our birthday stay memorable. Front desk was friendly, helpful and accommodating, beach staff made sure we had a comfortable place to sit and had drinks delivered when needed, all restraunt & bar staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Andre who made sure we had everything we needed and had fun our entire trip. From daily activities, off site excursions and a nice variety of places to eat- this place is a top notch resort and we look forward to coming back soon! We had so much fun we extended our stay for another day. 🫣😅

The location is far from most attractions but the beach is amazing. They have rooms of all sizes but the mini is just too mini. Food was decent but I really can't compliment the staff enough. Paula, Marlon, Roy, Kayla, Andre, and all those who tended our rooms and meals were top notch. We asked for a different room and they were able to accommodate us the same day. I'd say if you are in Montego bay for a few days to enjoy the beach this is a great place. I would not recommend for long stays due to distance, local area, and food options get repeated a lot.

We had a wonderful vacation at S Hotel last weekend and were quickly reminded about the wonderful island of Jamaica! We have visited Montego Bay before and enjoyed the island but your hotel provided a more authentic and intimate experience than we previously had. The vibe and view walking into to the lobby was exceptional. We appreciated all of the heritage spread in artwork and statues around the hotel and loved the S Club decor. Our families had amazing accommodations and meals daily and the staff was top notch. Marlon made us feel very comfortable and was great with the kids. We spent some time on the pickleball court and attended sip and paint one of the days to get full usage of the amenities provided. S Hotel is a special experience and we loved sharing that with our kids. The meals at Rocksteady and Jamrock were top notch and the daily buffet had something for everyone while getting to try local dishes. My daughter found her new favored meal in lamb which she never had before! Thank you-our family had a vacation to remember. We will be back and experience more of what Jamaica has to offer!

I stayed at the S Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and everything about my experience was perfect—from the stunning lobby to the breathtaking beach views. One of my favorite moments was relaxing by the poolside at night, where the views were absolutely gorgeous. Dinner at the RockSteady restaurant was a highlight, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully plated. The buffet also became a favorite and I honestly wished I could take the food home with me! 😂 The staff were exceptional: warm, polite, and attentive, truly making my stay even more memorable. I also loved the live music and evening entertainment, which added such a vibrant touch. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I can’t wait to return and relive the experience!

I had an unforgettable three-night stay at this all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. A special thank you goes to Monique Bendison, who made our check-in smooth and pleasant while assisting with our reservation. The dining experience was nothing short of phenomenal—every meal was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The rooftop pool views were breathtaking, and the servers there were always courteous, friendly, and attentive, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Delroy is the man! He is very pleasant, friendly and understands customer service. I loved the combination of options, from relaxing by the multiple pools to taking a short walk to the beach, giving me the best of both worlds. This property truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and warm Jamaican hospitality in Montego Bay. Definitely worth it!

This resort was amazing! Everyone was warm and friendly! The food was delicious! The drinks were great! The rooms were clean and huge! The pools were comfortable! Everything was AMAZING! Will definitely be back!!!

Tryall Club, Tradewinds on the Sea, was beyond our expectations. The villa was absolutely beautiful, “our house family” went above and beyond to make our stay even more excellent. To wake up every morning to the bright blue skies and the sound of the ocean right within steps of our villa was absolutely stunning. Thank you, Tryall Club for making our stay the best vacation I’ve ever had.

Where do I even start? My time here was unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced. I’ve done luxury stays in multiple countries but this was truly exceptional. Talk about having your every need catered to. Big thanks to Alton, Latoya, Nadia and Ricardo for being the best and making our time here magical. The food was amazing, the service was divine and the location was absolutely stunning. The only issue I had was the fact that I had to leave. How does one go back to reality after literally living their dream? I’m happy to be a Tryall Club Ambassador if that means I can be a full time resident! But fun and jokes aside, this really was the experience of a lifetime and I have to return!

Played golf today at Tryall Golf Club in Montego Bay Jamaica. The course was in good shape overall. The caddie Mr. White was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the course and provided key information about where my best miss would be and great knowledge of the greens. It was a pleaseure having him as my caddie today. 5 stars for Mr. White!!!

This is a beautiful destination. I can’t recommend it enough! The staff are friendly and made our stay so special. The gardens and all the grounds are pristine. The food is exceptional. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sugar Hill and the Tryall Club.

Just spent 10 days at Tryall. What a place, amazing. Like no other, our villa No Problem was spectacular. Thanks to Tieran, Sim and Donna for a brilliant stay!! We'll be back, see you soon.

We used to love this place—Grand Lido Negril was our JAM! The staff, the food, the vibe—everything used to be top-notch. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. We’ve celebrated our anniversary here for three years, and this visit—our fourth—will unfortunately be our last. What should have been a special and seamless experience turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal from start to finish. We paid extra for room selection #9009 back in October 2024, choosing it for sentimental reasons. We even confirmed it again on March 28th over the phone, and were assured it was set. Yet when we arrived, we were told due to a “system glitch,” our room had been given to someone else. Instead, we were placed in room #9014, which had clearly been prepared for a completely different guest who had booked through Expedia—their name was on the welcome letter and personalized decorations. To make matters worse, at check-in we were told there were two separate reservations under my name. I explained that I had booked directly through Marriott and only paid extra for the room selection through Grand Lido’s online system. I provided both confirmation emails, yet my card was still incorrectly charged—and even double-charged. That alone cost us time and stress to resolve. The problems didn’t stop there: • The phone and safe in the room didn’t work and required three separate visits to fix—taking away valuable time from our vacation. • The TV had red pixel burn-ins, making it nearly unwatchable. • Several food and beverage items on the all-inclusive menu were unavailable daily—which is baffling for a resort at this price point. But the most infuriating part? The constant pressure to sign a release form for compensation. Every single day, someone approached us to push a form in front of me to sign. There was no actual manager on-site—just front desk staff doing damage control on behalf of management. Instead of enjoying our anniversary, we spent time being hassled over what they deemed to be “fair” compensation, with zero regard for our loyalty as four-time returning guests. I was told I would receive my final bill by email—still waiting. I was also promised a follow-up from the General Manager before we left—never happened. I’ve since filed an official claim and complaint with Marriott Hotels Bonvoy Membership Services and, where I hold elite status due to my extensive travel and business. We’ll see if they value loyalty better than this property does. As of today, we are still being pressured to negotiate what they believe our compensation should be. To make matters worse, I received an email from the management—who never even showed up—claiming our room wasn’t available due to maintenance issues. Meanwhile, we spent our entire stay with the guest who was given our room and openly discussed the situation. It’s baffling that they would try to insult our intelligence like this. Absolutely ridiculous and trifling.

Grand Lido Negril is a great place to celebrate special occasions as a couple. The staff are naturally invested in ensuring you have a good time and always manage to blow my mind each time. Just celebrated my husbands birthday with them and he had the most amazing time. Thanks to Simone, Peaches, Ricardo, Michelle, Kirk and the entire Grand Lido team for always making us feel right at home.

Stayed at the Grand Lido to celebrate my best friend's 59th birthday. What a magical time we had, every detail was taken care of. Our butler service was top tier. Romaine and Michelle took care of our every need and went above and beyond for my friends birthday.

Condley was our butler and he was amazing, very attentive. The resort was amazing, staff was very pleasant, food was great, fun activities for all ages on property …the only complaints I have…is probably the 10lbs I gained from all the amazing food and gelato and having to leave lol. Can’t wait to go again! Make sure to do some excursions as well.

We had two weeks scheduled this August with another couple. They canceled my vacation because they have to replace their HVAC units and do a remodel. This is total BS because we know their air conditioning unit was out months and months and months and months ago when my wife and her girlfriend went there. They didn’t even have fans for the rooms. They took a very laze fair attitude towards their customers. Why didn’t they fix this last winter when I knew they had the problem plus the spring and summer months coming upon us. These are bad business people and they’re taking it out at the expense of the people that keep them open. our friends in Canada nor us will ever come to this place again because the management is absolutely low end!!

Absolutely wonderful trip with 10 family members. Three properties in one 1)Royalton, 2) Hideaway 3) Grand Lido - could accommodate kids and grown ups. This review is focused on Grand Lido - Au Naturale resort. Swim out room fantastic! Early morning and late evening dips. Unique - personal butlers who tailored and made the experience phenomenal! Call out to our butlers Michelle and Romaine!! Mayor of the the pool and bar is Simone - wonderful and enjoyable - amazing human!! Peaches serves up amazing drinks and has unbelievably creative words of wisdom (toasts). Philysia - best meals of the trip at Lido. An amazing chef who delivers tasty Jamaican inspired foods. There are things that can improved on the property but these are minor. Experience here phenomenal, highly recommended.
