Parking was fully booked in a messy way When we went to the cash to complain about the meal size the girl on the cash got upset and barley replying us ...we will never go there

We had a very bad experience. The chicken we ordered was rare I asked to change it and again the pieces were not fried well. I asked for the manager to tell him about it and all the time he was denying the rare chicken saying that it's all full of spices which caused the red color. He spent 15 minutes trying to convince us that there's nothing wrong with the chicken. Unprofessional manager.

Ask the cashier in the booth about prices before ordering. I got the same food two days in a row, but the prices were different—even after double checking with some staff. Falafel and fatteh with meat are quite tasty, but I wouldn’t really recommend the place. It seems like they don’t really care about customers, and the food is served in an unclean way. Hmm… If you like their falafel, make sure to check out Mr. Falafel restaurant in Petra — it’s x3 better.

It is one of the busiest restaurants in all Amman. You are lucky if you can find a table during lunch. It is massive in terms of fast local food and everything is so quick. I am not a falafel 🥙 guy but falafel hummus and water local bread for only 3 Jod, it is totally worth it. Don’t expect much just sit and eat and go.

I guess my expectations were too high after seeing so many recommendations about this famous place. It’s good, and I have to highlight the falafel (one of the best I’ve ever had), but the rest was just average. The place felt a bit overwhelming, very noisy, hot, and with little ventilation. The payment system is questionable: you don’t see the prices anywhere, and you only find out the total after eating. In our case, for 1 french fries, 1 falafel, 1 hummus, and 2 waters, we paid 5 JOD. Personally, after trying other restaurants where we had meat dishes for a similar price, it felt a bit expensive. I’m not even sure if we were slightly overcharged… That said, it’s worth trying once. Service was quick, and we were seated within seconds of arriving!

Sufra. Situated in an early 20th-century villa, Sufra serves Jordanian classics, such as mansaf. The restaurant is very popular because of its charming sitting and serving classic Jordanian dishes in upscale dining atmosphere. The potential and the ambition to deliver outstanding fine food is visible and tangible. However, Sufra fails to deliver on its mission. The food was good but nothing to rave about.

The food was good, and the atmosphere in the backyard garden is fantastic. We had dimseh (lentils and eggplant), hummus and fasoulia (stewed green beans), and the mashawi (for one) and mansaf. All was delicious, and so was the complimentary fresh bread. It was plenty of food for 4 people, unless you are very hungry. I thought the prices were fair for the quality and the setting.

Gorgeous backyard. Succulent grilled lamb and kebabs. Mouttaba and hummus to die for. Fresh and crunchy fatteh. Plus other dishes which im unfamiliar with but can testify to its balanced deliciousness. By far the best meal I've had in Amman. Service and ambience couldn't be faulted. Would easily come back for more.

This was my favourite meal while in Jordan. The garden in the back is gorgeous and very welcoming. They brought a generous portion of olives at the heginning. We had the spinach fatayer sabanekh as a nice little appetizer. Then we had the mnazalet beitinjan (eggplant) which was warm and delicious with the sajeyeh lamb. Everything was so flavourful. I wish we could have gone back again! I highly recommend it.

Ordered some mezze dishes and the chicken in clay pot. Had a business meeting and didn't have a lot of time but they were very accommodating and served the food super fast. The setting is amazing: an old house with traditional tile floors and its garden with a fountain and huge palm trees, converted into a restaurant with multiple rooms and levels for more people to enjoy. The pictures can speak for themselves. The food was very fresh and made with care. All in all a superb experience for my first authentic Jordanian lunch in Amman.

Tasty tasty Jordanian cuisine Old school on the inside, and relaxingly chill on the patio outside, you could do far worse for a lazy weekend afternoon. The food is excellent, and the flatbread is amazeballs. Enjoy!

The entrance, adorned with vibrant bougainvillea flowers and a lush garden, is absolutely beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. Portions were quite small for the prices charged, and the flavours were rather ordinary. The dishes lacked visual appeal, not a single garnish, green herb, or lemon slice that Middle Eastern cuisine is usually known for. Given that this restaurant is associated with Romero, once reputed for its excellent food, I was disappointed. They really need to elevate their dishes in both presentation and taste, or reconsider their pricing to better reflect the quality offered.

One of my favorite places to eat in Amman, have been going there for years, outside garden seating and an option of indoor, they always look for ways to keep improving their cuisine, service and all over elegant atmosphere. You will have a great time and will always go back.

The quality of there food was good. Makloob 2/5 was below average frankly. Though the guys tried their best. The mixed grill was 5/5 the could customise it for us. Well cooked and taste was good. Humous and Babaghanouse was 5/5 Overall it was good. I'm not giving them 5 stars is because it took over an hour for them to serve the food.

There’s beautiful outside seating overlooking the busy streets of old town Amman. The food is amazing, fresh and comes in decent portions. The coffee smelled so good. We are sitting today on the rooftop, enjoying the evening with perfect service and wondwerful food. Our server, Eyad?, was fast and kept the freshly prepared from the grill coming. The taboulee was fantastic, so were the falafel and the lamb from the grill. We had a special lemon with mint juice to drink, which was amazing, just ordered another one. Absolutely something to recommend.

Tourist Trap! ZAJAL Restaurant in Amman is a Complete Scam – Stay Away! What a nightmare experience. Zajal Restaurant in Old Town Amman is nothing but a tourist scam. We came here as a family hoping to try authentic Jordanian food, but we were ripped off from start to finish. The owner/manager acted friendly and enthusiastic while taking our order, but soon after, dishes we never ordered started arriving at the table. One steak we ordered magically became two steaks, and when we questioned it, the owner came up with a ridiculous excuse: “In Jordan, a man gets extra out of respect.” He even promised it wouldn’t appear on the bill. Of course, when the bill arrived, all those “extra” dishes and the second steak were fully charged. When we confronted him, he started spinning nonsense about “service fees” and “discounts,” clearly trying to confuse us. It was obvious this man knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s a smooth-talking scammer who preys on tourists. We ended up paying 110 euros for 3 adults and 1 child, which is outrageous for Jordan. Everything about this place screams dishonesty and manipulation. There are plenty of honest, welcoming restaurants nearby where you’ll be treated with respect. Avoid Zajal Restaurant at all costs. Don’t fall for their fake hospitality it’s just a trap.

It’s such a shame !! As a Jordanian brand you should be the first to support other local brands. There is no excuse after 8 months that you still can’t get other soft drinks and force me as customer not to boycott.

The beef was good but the cheese didn't quite melt and there was no sauce.

I ordered 15 wings with Buffalo hot sauce to go. I ended up with 15 wings and no sauce. Maybe it's my fault for not opening the bag and opening every item and making sure it's to my liking. The cashier was a kind young man but he did seem distracted by the cooks. Now I have to give my wings to some1 so I don't throw them away and order new wings on talabat and pray to Allah that the wings have sauce on them.

I ordered Philly cheese steaks and it was horrible. The meat was tasteless dry, very salty, and no other flavors. The sandwich itself was dry as there was no sauce. And no cheese at all just a tiny tiny bit of cheese considering it's called PHILLY CHEESE STEAK. I DON'T RECOMMEND

I ordered burger salad from heroes burgers we Ordered a total of 12 burgers and to be honest, they were not that good. The mushroom burger was really gross but the classic American burger was pretty good and the Mexican burger was all right. I’ve had better burgers than this place but the fries are pretty good. I don’t think I’ll order it again and it doesn’t deserve its price The presentation of the food is really good but overall, the food is pretty mid.

Decent Burger, But the Place Needs Improvement I tried two types of burgers, and they were quite good for the price. The cost was reasonable, and the flavors were decent. However, the place itself was not very appealing—it didn’t feel clean or well-maintained. Also, the fries were disappointing; they lacked crispiness and tasted bland. If they improve the cleanliness and the quality of the fries, it could be a much better experience.

The burger is one of the best, juicy burger and well cooked. I appreciate the the grill lines on the patty, perfectly made.(tried the Hero burger) Chicken wings are also well made would recommend them. The staff were kinda busy and were not welcoming, would appreciate a consistent standard when treating your customers. Place is small, good for 3 people max per table. Loved the design. Place hard to find it is behind the building, the location on Google maps is not accurate call them first.

My experience with Heroes Burger wasn’t good … I ordered 2 burgers sandwiches one was 100 grams and the other was 200 and a side of chicken wings….my thoughts are: 1)The burger tastes good …. But not at this price point….also the burger felt too small knowing that it’s 200 grams of meat and it felt a bit lacking of flavor 2)The wings was a total disappointment …they were soggy… the sauce didn’t taste good …mine was super hot buffalo …i think it’s store bought …and overpriced 3) The place need more attention …meaning the seating area was messy and not that clean…the smell of oil was very apparent and not good(old) …The restaurant needs a severe maintenance in many places I wish that my complaint reaches the restaurant management

We are regular clients to Khalda branch. As mentioned above, we like the food and the vibes/atmosphere. But, we’ve tried this Christmas cocktail three times now, and it has literally NO alcohol shots in, so I’ve asked them to fix/top it up the first time and the second time, on the third time, we had the same complaint and we asked the waiter to get it better/top it up, he said it already has a single shot per glass, we responded stating our experience the two times before, he did nothing, literally nothing!! We couldn’t finish our meal/drinks as a result and we left the place, and he didn’t offer a discount on the bill total or to offer it again as a compensation. What a lame approach to regulars!!

Khalda branch is by far the best branch. Staff is more than amazing, very helpful and always smiling ! The food is delicious as usual, it was my first time trying the fried mushrooms which were OUT OF THIS WORLD honestly!

The waiters are living in a 8th dimensions no one knows what is the offer each one have a different answer and then they lie about what they said. Even the blond waiter I was respectful and mentioned maybe she is fasting so that's why she might forgotten but she had the audacity to say I'm not fasting and was racist as hell. And my friends told her be careful while talking to us she starting speaking like the guys in the streets. Really disappointing for such a famous name restaurant with this poor service attitude just racist and disrespectful in Ramadan while we are all fasting as me and my friends tried to be calm and yet the only one who was respectful only the manager.

I visited the Boulevard branch and had a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing especially the team leader (I guess his name is Adam), the hijabi girl, and the waiter who was working outside. Just a matter of luck really.. if you like gambling then this is your best place to order from, sometimes really bad some times really good, sometimes the spicy is not spicy at all sometimes it’s so hot you can’t finish it, sometimes you’ll spend the next night in the toilet sometimes you’ll wake up craving more… but hey that’s the fun of it, I think.

One of the worst Restaurant’s I have ever tried Sadly I’m being totally totally honest I made an order on Talabat at 12 am Friday night It was not busy at all I have waited for an hour to get my food although it was Not busy I repeat . I have ordered double cheeseburger and 2 twister sandwiches: The chicken strips inside of the twister where so so chewy and almost burnt and the aftertaste almost tasted like fish The cheeseburger was so greasy to the point where the sandwich rap was slippery and the cheese after taste was so so bad almost like plastic Overall : A very hyped up place, they have good social media but nothing special at all such a letdown, specially the quality of other restaurants Compared to the price not worth it at all

We got 2 meals and they were placed in a singular meal box. Moreover, the meals lacked tissues. The menu is also very limited. We got a 180g "the signature" but the size felt small as a 150g burger was noticeably bigger. It is also not wheelchair accessible.

Wingman, located in the 7th Circle area of Amman, is a great spot for anyone craving flavorful wings. My order was The signature meal and The chicken spicy meal The first issue we had that the order took 30 minutes to be ready knowing the restaurant is not busy (also the cashier didn’t notify us about the time it’s going to take ) The second issue portions were too small for the price that we paid for. The third issue (THE MOST IMPORTANT) The test taste was not bad for the signature sandwich…it had rubbery feeling to it …it even got stuck in my teeth For the chicken it’s was ok but the chicken itself didn’t have any seasoning on it …to thin for sandwich itself The only good thing was the fries…it was crispy from the outside and mushy from the inside ….and it was seasoned very well For me the price per portion is very high and not worth it…to be honest I consider it as a kids meal I wish the restaurant to fix these issues

First time being here and I had a great time! LOVED the Heroes Burger, the fries were crispy and the chicken wings were FANTASTIC! I would come here every day if my wallet would allow! 😜 The murals are beautiful, and the outdoor seating is just perfect! There is, however, only one bathroom stall for men and one for women, so think of this if you plan on visiting with children or a lot of friends. I had a lot of fun with family when I was here, highly recommend!!

The Foodsmith Grill is one of the hidden gems of Amman. If you want properly engineered food, look no more. Start with their Caesar salad. The lettuce is grilled and the taste is just right. Their Brie and Truffle Burger is perfect for people in love with proper beef patties and cheese. The seating area is very cozy and warm. In summer, they slide all windows open and it becomes even better. Don’t miss out on this place.

Food Smith Grill offers a pleasant seating area with a warm atmosphere. However, on the way up the stairs, I couldn’t help but notice quite a bit of dust on the ceiling. For a restaurant aiming for a fine-dining experience, this is a detail worth addressing preferably before it becomes a permanent resident. We sampled several dishes: Chicken Tenders with Sage: Crispy, nicely coated in panko, but the sage itself was missing in action. If the menu promises sage, I would appreciate at least a brief encounter. Caesar Salad: Fresh and fine, but didn’t quite deliver that unforgettable “soul-hitting” Caesar moment. It felt more like a passport photo version of a Caesar acceptable, but not exactly moving. Burger: Good meat, great Brie, but the bread was underwhelming. A brioche or potato bun would’ve elevated the entire experience and given the burger the comforting warmth it deserved. Fries: Good texture, but needed the courage to embrace salt. Steak (350g): Cooked properly and enjoyable. However, a steak of that size arriving alone on the plate feels a bit incomplete. First time in tabarbour branch. taste great , on the pricey side The staff are polite and made minimal noice while working. Btw the tended glass is a great idea , made the place cozy becouse it's literally beside a busy street
