If i was to make a list of my favorite places in amman, cantaloupe would be on top of the list. BEST FOOD EVER!!!! best is an underestimation saraha. Yummiest cleanest most creative food you would ever taste in amman. Their alcohol cocktails are awesome as well. Honestly everything about this place is fire; the vibe the staff absolutely professional and warm and i cannot begin to tell you about the view! Just look at my pictures and you’ll see yourself. Perfect for date night, great for friends gathering. There is an indoor seating as well There are two floors, I recommend the first if you’re there for the food and the second if youre only there for drinks and the view. Reservation is preferable most of the time and ofcourse do not miss the golden hours! Its to die for

Drinks are very well made and the food is good too. Service is nice, clean and polite. The place itself is very nice and has a good view but not much to do, great to just drink and chat with friends. Maybe watch football.

Just came for drinks, but the rooftop bar has very special views of the city and citadel, especially around sunset. Service was great, and they had a local bottled beer "Petra" which was fun to try as well as Amstel on draught!

Fabulous place! The location is very good and allows you to admire the whole city. The restaurant is divided into 2 levels: the first is used as a restaurant-pub with an external and an internal area. The second level is used as a panoramic cocktail bar. I went in December and the place was decked out in Christmas dress which created a unique atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and professional, knowing how to manage me well considering my food intolerances. The recommended food and wine were very good and the price was correct. I will definitely be back

The main attraction of cantaloupe is the view from the restaurant terrace. It is fantastic. We booked for 6 o'clock to get the sunset and we weren't disappointed, absolutely beautiful and lots of photos taken by us and by the staff who were more than helpful. Also a happy hour in place till 8. We arrived and the place was totally empty it seems it is geared for later despite the happy hour. We ordered drinks and they came but we then waited for menus for quite a while . When they came we waited quite some time before we ordered and got more drinks . Some of us has ordered beer and noticed the half pint was in fact exactly the same amount as a pint ( we poured one into the other to see) the waiter saw and asked what we were up to and we explained, he went to enquire and came back to tell us they had received new glasses and they didn't realize the fact . He said he would charge only half pint/price , he did for further orders but left the previous drinks at full price. Food took a long time to come and was adequate except for beef sliders that were obviously off and smelled very high . How the kitchen sent them out is beyond us, they were truly bad. Pub food at a high price because of the view . My advice eat before you sit on the terrace and order half pints of beer.

Well, the service was a bit rough as we were there early and there were only 4 tables occupied ( 3 with 2 people and 1 with 4, one by the football table and the rest on the patio ) had to get up and and walk to the bar to get our drinks, the second time was due to the waiter forgetting about it after 15 minutes too busy playing with his phone.(have the picture) The Fried Seafood platter was bland and way too much batter , personal opinion, and wasn't even asked of we wanted anything for the fries or another drink.. see above. Chalk it up to a bad day but I honestly couldn't recommend it .

Recommended Jun 2025 I like this bar. They have a nice outside seating area, friendly and attentive service, happy hour daily. Excellent cocktails. Good food. Just had two issues in my last visit. We ordered Greek salad …unfortunately it came with lettuce, although that was not listed on the menu as one of the ingredients….and where in the world you put lettuce in Greek salad! We told the waiter and they changed it. I ordered seafood pasta. It is listed on the menu as one that comes with rose sauce… unfortunately when it sand the oysters were charred, and the sauce was so creamy I could not eat the pasta. I recommend they serve it with tomato sauce and not to char grill the oysters all in all a good bar

We went to this location for a quick night cap and were very impressed. We had snacks and drinks and I can personally attest to the fact that they serve an absolutely delightful espresso martini and I try them wherever I go so I can say this with conviction. Try it out!

One of the few bars in Amman that has consistently satisfied the night outs. The drinks are just great. The food is also very good both taste and portion. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. It's sometimes hard to park around the area but they have a valet parking so you don't have to worry about that. I completely recommend this place.

This has become my go to spot. I always find myself coming back for their amazing chicken breast that is perfectly cooked every time and the portion is perfect . The rustic steak sandwich is another favorite of mine hearty and full of flavor. The staff there is so friendly and welcoming it really adds to the whole experience. Whether im grabbing a quick bite or relaxing I always leave happy. I Highly recommend this place if youre looking for delicious food and a warm inviting atmosphere.

Nice and easy bar in Jabal Webdeih. We had good drinks from good bartender, Mustafa. He mixed drink as I requested not on the menu. It turned nice drinks too. We had a good time on Halloween even no Halloween celebration here. If you are around, I recommend this bar to try. Cheers!!

Fun place and staff is great, management needs a little help in hospitality/customer service. Spent over an hour arguing over a reservation on a Monday night where at one point I was the only human being in there.

Always great to drop in. Staff are super. They know what you want when a regular. Like to go in early during winter so as not to get exposed to them clouds of smoke. The food is good, make sure you ask for recommendations because they'll give it to you straight, they know their specials and they'll help you order. In the summer time the outdoors terrace is just great. Good views combined with superb Amman weather, you can't go wrong. Best to make reservations well ahead of time.

The place here is much nicer and better organized than I expected. I really appreciate Mr. Laith — even the gentleman who sits at the door was very respectful was super kind and welcoming. got refused entry because i showed up in shorts. in summer. in jordan. said they had a dress code. bell guy looked me up and down and smirked? for a place with the menu from 3 - 17jd (his words, not mine), they sure know how to cheapen themselves out. was recced by a few. decided not worth the trouble. take your money elsewhere where they don’t judge you based on your looks, folks.

The star is for the food quality and the vibe. Very nice place with a nice view. The service in this place is disturbingly horrible. Starting from the host who calls to confirm your reservation. what a horrible person with zero communication skills. Reaching there we asked for him and he was informed but didn't come to us. Then we spoke to his superios and made sure to communicate how upset we are of his behavior in both occasions, superior apologized but that person never came to apologize. Who does this person think he is? Does the management of this place encourage this behavior? This is a place I recommend to a lot of people and all the people go there have something to say about the service. Customers are always right (given they are respectful) they pay so much money per evening and we still get such treatment? Service during weekend is extremely slow. I waited for the waiter to pay 15mins, glass refill took forever...etc Management should work more on solving these issues. Its a shame that such a beautiful place has a show off attitude.

Super bad service we came yesterday. We are friends. There was no service at all, and he put in the bill service charge There is one Waiter he’s a short guy maybe he’s have another position. I don’t know but he abuse us. Can you imagine? I really don’t understand how this amazing place have this kind of people I wish you will solve this problem. One of the best bars in Amman. A great rooftop view, extremely friendly owner and staff, diverse drinks, and amazing food. The bar's owner and chef, Michael, along with Fadi, made my last night in Jordan the best I could've ever asked for. Granted, you'll have an unforgettable experience there.

Interesting concept of using junk cars for a meeting place. The host iham and Ahmad were really nice, hospitable and friendly. The drinks and appetizers were good. Too bad didn't get to experience the rooftop terrace that overlooked Amman mountain area as it is closed in winter. Definitely would go back for another visit

This place is really underrated. The view is so amazing and the food is delicious. I found Amman to be pretty expensive and this place was very reasonable. Especially pitchers of beer! They have good music and the decor of automobiles is very unique and appealing. Highly recommend!

The seating area is not comfortable at all. The service provided is very bad. We were 3 people and we ordered food. They brought utensils for 2 people, and despite our request, it made me refrain from eating. Its price is exaggerated, and they did not adhere to the discount announced on Instagram. All of this made us leave the place early and look for an alternative place. An experience that will not be repeated, and I do not advise anyone to go there.

Nice location. Music was good but too loud. This is not the place to go for anyone like me who cannot be around smoke. Service was very slow. Chef came out to apologize. Food was Ok.

Would’ve given a better rating if the staff were more professional. Arrived there early and was told that the place was “fully booked”, told the host at the entrance that we’re only staying for less than two hours, and we don’t mind just sitting at the bar but was told no can do. Luckily, the friend I was meeting had made a reservation earlier (without telling me). We went up and there was literally one table there, we left less than two hours later and there were only five or six other table and the place was not even half full. Mentioned this to the supervisor and he claimed they are always “full” and that many people come after 9 (it was 10 PM at the time of my conversation with him). If you put that aside, it’s actually a nice venue with decent food and views.

Beautiful place with great scenery to Amman, with friendly, nice and professional staff. Check their website for more details. Tbe only downside is they require "couples entry" on weekends, like many other places in Amman. Which is bad if you ask me. Men need to hangout and enjoy nice places as well, without being required to bring along a lady friends/girlfriends wherever they go.

Dunia is one of the important pubs roof tops in Amman, the music is good most of the times and the food is good as well.

Location is good, easy parking... Mexican beer was so good, i liked that the Buffalo Chicken tenders were grilled not fried yet weren't that tasty, salad was average... place was so heavy of smoke smell but it was fine after they opened the roof top cover...

This place has good ambience. They have place for snooker, however they will close the snooker area hours before any music concert is going to happen. There is one dish name chicken cheese bombs, which is super delicious. Chicken wings with barbecue sauce also tastes good. However, steak provided there is very small than we expect for the price.

The garlic veal was very tasty and well served. The service is friendly and quick. I enjoyed the ambiente, and the beer was cheaper than elswere around. Any time again.

The waiter divided the bill wrong, asked him to change it. My bill was 10.50 the waiter assumed i wanted to pay via visa 11jds without asking!! How rude! We were playing a very appropriate card game called wild wild taco and they asked us to not play anything so we asked for the cheque (the place was empty, they chose to tell us not to play and leave rather than leave us be) never going back even tho it was our spot 😭😭

An American kind of a pub. Great place for watching matches and enjoy listening to rock/metal songs. Fair alcohol drinks prices, very delicious food. Friendly and nice staff. Cool decorations all over the place. You can play pool there too. I really love this place.

One of the few bars I went to in Amman that played actual songs instead of the licence-free cover versions and it was much appreciated. They also do a looooong happy hour from 12-8pm on mixed drinks etc. But I drank beer because the Carakale blonde ale is a beaut and they had plenty of that. It covers multiple floors, there's a cute roof balcony with good views, friendly bar staff. Probs my fave drinking spot in Aman.

It is a very decent bistro on the rainbow street of Amman. They have draft Amstel and a quite good menu for eating. Mainly pub foods. I had small burgers and they were very tasty. Prices are very good. They even have happy hours during the day time. Service and people are also very good. Recommended.

European, Beer, good pizza and food. Terrace with a view in the sun, but also covered. Nice prices and also a happy hour from 12-20:00. Just ask for what prices they give you the drinks, then you‘ll be safe. They also give you chili and tabasco for the pizza if you ask for it.

Very nice bar in rainbow street. It has 3 floors with a small open air rooftop. The alcohol selection of drinks is big. Also..they serve many food.options including burgers..pasta and pizza. You can watch football as each floor has a TV.

Had an awesome time at La Call! The vibe there is top-notch. I enjoyed some delicious burger sliders and pasta, which were absolutely fantastic. Saleh, our waiter, was amazing—super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend checking it out!

A lovely quaint pub, reasonably priced and nicely decorated. Beer was good and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the balcony upstairs. I will definitely return to this venue.

I find it intriguing how anyone can trash this place in a review. The setting and atmosphere are just beautiful. Great views, and absolutely lovely location. The service was great and waiters attentive and very accommodating. The food was also very good. The sushi was so elaborate I really loved it! We were 4 and ended up paying 25 each, shared food though so expect it would be higher if each had a main. Lovely passion fruit rum cocktail as well! It’s a classy place, we had a great time!

We ordered Noodles with beef and Salad with Eggplant, not so fresh vegetables and over cooked noodles. Atmosphere was nice, service was not bad, a few number of waiters serving many tables, they were doing their best to keep things under control, we sat in the rooftop the view was amazing.

First time giving a 1 star review, generally easy to please. I reserved in this place 2 weeks in advance yet they still managed to give me a trash table and the guy at door was rude when I told him the table isn’t good. The service was very slow never checked on us. I left after having one drink. Do not recommend one bit

I wish I could rate it zero. Maybe in the older times it was something, but nowadays it's a scam. Bad service the worst food. The food was like in a fast food restaurant. The guy who served us the food wasn't polite at all on all levels. Not worth a JD to spend. I just imagine inviting friends here and we get this service and this food, would be a big embarrassment and disappointing. Bresaola salad was very very salty with this dressing, sushi tasted really bad, schnitzel was frozen and too oily, baked potato wasn't fresh also, the dumplings tasted so much for the shrimps and felt like left overs were stuffed in, the chicken teppanyaki had no taste. The worst experience!!!

An extremely disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the get go, like as soon as as we walked it the guy greeting us was so rude. Had to wait over 30 mins for a waiter to even acknowledge us. Considering how far in advance I made a reso, I was expecting a nice table, but I guess for something like that, they expect a head on tip. My friends and I left after 1 drink. Would not recommend at all. There are so many other places in Amman with a nice view and service — this is not one of them.

One of the good clubs in Amman, but the issues I faced here is the entrance fee of 10jd, the club is small so it feels crowded and it's couples only, so I had to call my friend who was already in with his girlfriend to let me in. 🤨

Stuff are not even unprofessional they're weird, starting from the guy on the gate he asked us in offensive way .. DO YOU GUYS HAVE A RESERVATION!? ARE YOU A COUPLE OR A GROUP ?! Then i called someone who is called ahmed al barghouti he said that he is the manager and he will never allow MALES ONLY!!! , i was with my friends from US i left the place with a one question in my head ! Ancient old school proper pub , it has a rock and roll feel, small but it gives it character , big pool table just at the entrance. Good pub food is provided with solid happy hour and a nice hole in the wall seating makes it amazing for a lovers seat or groups. Extremely friendly with a great caring manger. The food is good and rich as well . Clean and big portions .

Good ambience, nicely decorated and warm during the winter months. About 10 of us were there during happy hour. Music was too loud near our table on Thursday night and it could not be turned down. Although service was decent, our unfinished food(fries, chips, chicken tenders) were cleared from our table without asking if we were finished with the meal. Our overall experience was good but not great

So good! Played mostly Arabic music that even though I don't understand, sounded so good. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very liberating. I loved the place.

Fantastic experience here! All of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accomodating during my visit here. The whole vibe of the place is conducive to a social setting, and it's also a great spot to watch sports. On top of all that, the burgers here are TOP NOTCH. This is going to be a place I come to regularly on future visits to Amman

Horrible Experience!!! Zero star 👎🏻 "I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We booked there once we arrived they couldn’t find our name then that rude manager with an attitude didn’t let us in so they give our table to others because there was a football match. We came back and the same weird manager gave us a rubbish table and was giving us hate glares and asking the waiter if we’ve ordered or not. The security men were ready to fight. There is no menu for the drinks and all the drinks were watery and overpriced. They force you to get and pay for a funny cheese platter. The place looks very old and in a bad condition. The songs they play very old- fashioned “late 80s/ 90s”. A good table got empty so we asked to get there, that rude manager immediately said one with a bad tone for no reason. No one sat there until we left. On top of that, the bill was extraordinary and it has a 30p “ we paid and after a while they told is they don’t accept coins so the took a whole JD instead of the 30p!! So Unbelievable !!! I believe that this is the worst and the lowest class pub I’ve ever seen in Jordan. I won't be returning!

Excellent service. Excellent food and the vibe was really nice DJ is somewhat good, extremely high music. For suxh a high volume it should be a club for dancing and not A pub. If you're going to enjoy the and make some conversation its not the place. Atleast inside, maybe music is low near the windows but we couldn't hear each others at all. Instead we had to drink eat and dance. I would come back

Best food by far comparing with any other pub in Amman they have the best Buffalo grilled chicken tenders 😋... the level of the crowd as well is very good you don't see low level annoying people. It's mixed between foreigners since it's located close to the emabassies and upper class locals

We had a coilme of cocktails, but tbe music qas way to loud and the staff inquiring you if uou were leaving uiur table.....truly a pity as the location would have perfect to habe a few more drinks.

Beautiful view and atmosphere but the service is really bad! The waiter was very rude. Didn’t even want to bother to cater for allergies, he just said you can’t anything here without even checking and giving any options.

Perfect for hanging out with friends. A special shoutout to Sohaib he was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. His service really stood out and made the evening even better. Definitely recommend coming here and I’ll for sure be back.

A real landmark in downtown Amman — if you want to eat falafel, this is the place to go. The food is authentic and flavorful, the staff is extremely friendly, and the vibe is very local. Open 24/7 with a simple menu that never disappoints. An essential stop for the true Jordanian street food experience.

Ask the cashier in the booth about prices before ordering. I got the same food two days in a row, but the prices were different—even after double checking with some staff. Falafel and fatteh with meat are quite tasty, but I wouldn’t really recommend the place. It seems like they don’t really care about customers, and the food is served in an unclean way. Hmm… If you like their falafel, make sure to check out Mr. Falafel restaurant in Petra — it’s x3 better.

It is one of the busiest restaurants in all Amman. You are lucky if you can find a table during lunch. It is massive in terms of fast local food and everything is so quick. I am not a falafel 🥙 guy but falafel hummus and water local bread for only 3 Jod, it is totally worth it. Don’t expect much just sit and eat and go.

I guess my expectations were too high after seeing so many recommendations about this famous place. It’s good, and I have to highlight the falafel (one of the best I’ve ever had), but the rest was just average. The place felt a bit overwhelming, very noisy, hot, and with little ventilation. The payment system is questionable: you don’t see the prices anywhere, and you only find out the total after eating. In our case, for 1 french fries, 1 falafel, 1 hummus, and 2 waters, we paid 5 JOD. Personally, after trying other restaurants where we had meat dishes for a similar price, it felt a bit expensive. I’m not even sure if we were slightly overcharged… That said, it’s worth trying once. Service was quick, and we were seated within seconds of arriving!

Hashem, a Jordanian institution, having been open for 50 years and having welcomed dignitaries from all over the globe. A visit to Amman is not complete without visiting Hashem.

Best Arabic food I have ever eaten in my life with loads of vegi options . Staff are extremely friendly . They took me to the kitchen showed me all the dishes . It was an unforgettable part of my time in Amman.

A must-visit spot – legendary place where the number of locals speaks for itself. The dishes are delicious, inexpensive and served at lightning speed. Orders are written down on slips of paper (there are no prices listed, but each dish costs very little) then the waiter immediately brings the food and you pay at the exit.

I eat brunch in Amman a lot. Usually, the nicer the view and atmosphere, the worse the food is. Except here! Sitting down, you feel like you’re in a garden or rain forest. There’s a beautiful view of Amman. The food was absolutely delicious. The manaqeesh base is like a thick pizza dough, the authentic Italian kind, not the normal thing dough. It was delicious. The halloumi was grilled perfectly, the beef bacon was smoky. I asked for a side of scrambled eggs and they were the softest, yummiest eggs I’ve ever had in my life. The service is great, everyone is so kind. We were celebrating an 18th birthday and the servers sang happy birthday when they brought the dessert. I know it’s something small but it made it special as it was his first time ever celebrating. Definitely recommend for a chill birthday brunch!

I went with my boyfriend and my cousins. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the place. We went in the evening for drinks & shisha. The service was good, the shisha was goo, the atmosphere was great (over looking Amman at night). Spent an afternoon on Rainbow Street and it was such a fun experience! The street is full of unique shops, cozy cafés, and great restaurants, making it the perfect place to wander, eat, and soak in the atmosphere. Had heard a lot about it, but honestly found it a bit overrated. It’s a pleasant place for a walk, with a decent selection of shops and restaurants along the way. I did manage to pick up some nice souvenirs, which was a highlight. Overall, it’s a nicer and more relaxed experience compared to the busy city center, but not quite as impressive as I expected.

One of my favorite places to eat in Amman, have been going there for years, outside garden seating and an option of indoor, they always look for ways to keep improving their cuisine, service and all over elegant atmosphere. You will have a great time and will always go back.

This place is very popular and hard to reserve. I can see the appeal as the place looks stunning with a gorgeous outdoor garden space and an old world feel to it, but honestly the high noise level and smoke from all the shisha ruined the experience a little for me. I can't home with a headache. It is a popular spot and was crowded as a result. I'm glad we tried it since it was so highly recommended.

A remarkable experience... The location is beautiful, the environment is elegant with well-balanced decor. All the staff were fantastic with a beautiful attitude, always ready and very professional… We ordered two cocktails as an aperitif with a very fresh tasty burrata to share with a top dressing. The first courses were Ravioli and Tagliolini....simply perfect!! Delicious, cooked to perfection, super tasty and beautifully plated. Then we received a tiramisu and a millefeuille from the restaurant...a real pleasure!!! Highly recommended 10/10

Wow! The food was amazing here. Everything was perfect from the French Onion Soup to the Octopus and Chicken with Creme Mushrooms. Top it off with Chocolate mousse with Vanella ice cream and everything was perfect. Only downside is the smoke throughout the restaurant. They try for a non smoking area but it's right next to the smoking area and we are in the Middle East where everyone seems to still smoke.

An excellent brasserie located in the Four Seasons hotel. The food is thoughtfully prepared and tasty. The standout dish for me was the duck breast and my wife enjoyed the sea bass the most, but everything was on point. This was the only place in Jordan (restaurant or shop) we found that actually offered gluten free bread, and it was very good. The service was attentive and friendly. The space itself is very chic and modern, I edpecially like their choice of light fixtures. Overall it was excellent.

The Zenith is a fancy restaurant located in the St Regis Hotel. They offer a variety of options like seafood and steak. They did scam us with the duck salad because there was a very tiny piece of duck on top of the lettuce which is why they got 4/5⭐️for the food . Other than that the food was good, we had smoked barbecue wagyu ribs which was extremely good, the meat was literally falling off the bones🤤. We also had entrecôte which wasn’t too bad but I’ve had better. We had a 17 layer chocolate cake with edible gold on top which was decent but it didn’t have a strong chocolate taste tbh. The waiters were really good and also offered to put the food on our plates and refilled our waters often. The atmosphere was nice, it’s really fancy decorated and we can see the chefs cooking the food through a glass.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite the athan (call to prayer) being heard, the staff did not stop the music, which is something I believe should be respected—especially since we were seated in the restaurant section, not the lounge. It took a long time for our food to be prepared as well, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. I hope the management takes these points into consideration and improves in the future.

And oddly, loved the starter bread they served us, and they were even friendly enough to give us some to go.. It is for sure up there in terms of prices, but definitely compete in taste for one of the best fine dining experience Ive had in Amman. Will be back soon :)

This place is outstanding. The food is top notch, flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The service is equally impressive; the staff are knowledgeable about the menu and offer excellent pairing suggestions. To top it all off, the view is absolutely breathtaking, easily one of the best in the city.

The atmosphere and service were quite good, but the food itself was just average not bad, but not great either. We ordered both appetizers and mains, yet everything was served at the same time, which felt a bit rushed. The spinach dip was bland and completely lacked salt, which was disappointing. The classic burger lived up to its name, it felt like a very basic, old-school “swimming pool burger” but priced at 10 JDs. Overall, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy the vibe, but the food is overpriced and not worth what you pay.

We went there during the week for a quick bite and some drink. The food was bland, nothing major. We had 2 salads that had normal taste and not very special dressing. Then we had coconut chicken strips, again nothing special. My friend had a cocktail and wasn’t thrilled about it. It was basically a Malibu with juice in. Wine glass!!!!. Seating area is nice the decoration is cozy and cook. They should change their bar tender and chef. This place has potential.

The atmosphere is really nice! The staff are very friendly. I loved the food; my fav was the pasta! The drinks were okay; pina colada could have been better (it was basic). Loved the happy hour discount tho! One small note, I didn’t like the fact that they tell people when to leave when they enter 😅

I went there with some guests on a Thursday night. I called beforehand and they said the outdoor seating area was full but they will try to find me a place outdoors. When I arrived they took some time to find my name on the reservation list because apparently they had another list for the indoor seating reservation. They made it clear when we arrived that they doubt any place will be free in the outdoors area, unlike what we were told on the phone. I had to settle for the indoor option because I didn’t want my guests to wait for long but then again they limited our choices to two tables only that were not to our liking claiming that the other better options that we chose were reserved or kept for a larger number of guests. We settled for the option offered but were surprised that the other better options remained empty all through our stay. Naturally no one bothered to come to us while we were there to offer a better option or to ask if we are happy with our table. The food was good, not great. The indoor area was noisy and they refused politely to lower the sound of music as it was a Thursday night! Collectively, for the food quality, price paid and the service I would say that the whole experience was unpleasant and I doubt I will go there again.

I loved everything in the place . The food is delicious, the interior is very cozy plus & the outside seating area is also amazing with lots of plants and the staff are friendly , not to mention the good prices during their Happy Hour time. The shrimp tempura is a must try. The sliders , chicken tenders, goat cheese salad are all amazing. If you want to end your meal with a dessert, the chocolate fondue was is mouthwatering.

The food is good but the service is extremely bad. You could wait 30 minutes till someone responds back to you. I asked for the cheese cake to be taken away and instead of replace the chocolate on the top at the side, they smashed it and ruined the look.

The most pleasant place to dine in and to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Black Iris rooftop bar. Every thing was perfect. We dined in the restaurant Black Iris at the hotel Crown Plaza Amman, and it was delicious and the service was excellent. Love it all and we will come back for sure. My experience at Black Iris Rooftop was great! My friends and I were a large group (16 people) and they were very accommodating. We had lots of different orders and requests, which they were flexible with. For example, the smoke smell was strong at a point and they let us open one of the windows to air it out. The main host, Sari, was patient and constantly checked in with us. Additionally, everyone liked their food and the portion sizes were good. Would come back next time I am in Amman.

I called them to reserve a table for two, and told them that I was concerned about the latest reviews about booking and about being not that comfortable because of having single men a lot more than women, which made it some how not comfortable, so the man on the phone that sounded not to know any English language told me that "you should believe in god that safety comes through him" "الأمان في وجه الله اول اشي توكل على الله" That sounded very unprofessional and irrelevant, because it's not a religious thing and this sounded very unprofessional from a rooftop in a 5-stars hotel. الموضوع ما اله دخل حيث انه كلنا متوكلين على الله، و لكن ما كان لائق الرد نهائيًا. This was enough to cancel the reservation and not even go there....if the phone call was like this, how would the service there would be?!!!!!

Nice place with great vibes and good music. We tried the seafood platter and the beef schnitzel both were tasty and well-prepared. The only concern we had was an unpleasant burning smell, and the air conditioner next to us was making a strange noise, almost like an electrical short might happen. When we asked the waiter about it, he assured us it was fine, but I think the owners should address this issue to make customers feel more comfortable and to avoid any potential safety risks

We always try to find an Irish pub everywhere that we travel. Dubliners did not disappoint. The place is very cool, the people are great. The fish and chips was very good, as well as the drinks.

Great place for Italian food if you're craving it while in Amman. Serivce and ambiance are also as good as it gets. Both the mushroom risotto and goat cheese salad were delicious! The risotto was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh with the right amount of dressing. I didn't try the pasta, but my friend did and they loved it. I must say though, the star of the show for me was the aubergine with meatballs! Just 🤌. For dessert we got the deconstructed cheesecake. It was good, but a little too sweet for my taste.

Finally good Italian restaurant in Amman . We had Lasagna and sea risotto , both were v good . Service is very attentive. They serve alcohol which goes very well with such good quality food.

I visited Solaya in Amman the atmosphere is beautiful, the interior is stylish, and the music was pleasant. However, the service was very disappointing. The waiter was inattentive, didn’t seem to know the menu well, and most shockingly he put his finger into the tartare while serving it. That’s absolutely unacceptable for a place of this level. It’s a shame because the restaurant has great potential, but the staff clearly needs proper training and better supervision. I wouldn’t recommend it if you care about quality service

We ordered Mushroom soup,lentil soup, baked potatoes with rosemary and cheese roles, nothing really special and it is extremely simple order. Very bad soups, tasteless potatoes, bad presentation for all dishes. And the service was bad too, my friend ordered latte and it came cold and full of milk, she then exchanged it with zero cola and they brought it in glass not the can where they open it. Nothing is special about this restaurant and overrated prices for bad service and horrible food. ابدا لا انصح فيه

Aussies outside our boarders visiting Middle East. Ramadan still 3 days to go, maybe 2, depends on the moon. What a delight to walk into a little oasis from suburbia. Delightful. Happy hour until 7pm 50% off drinks and 25% off food. Chug chug. 2.5 dinar for a large beer. 1 dinar for a small cold still water. Service friendly; food terrific. I’d only marked down cause my wife and I don’t smoke and there were a few smokers around which (for us) is not very pleasant. Thankyou for your hospitality 👍

Jan 2024 update: Kebab is not their thing, the taste was quite poor, as well as fries. Not sure if by night the food is better, depending on the cook. Pasta with porcini mushrooms was good. So called "happy hour" is just for some food, and it's not clear how much is the discount since they bring a menu with prices already reduced, but not all... for example pasta has the same prices. Jan 2023: This place changes completely from day to evening. At day it's quiet, with reduced prices (happy hour), food is good, service is kind and quick. I recommend the Chicken Freekeh, a special local dish. At night it's a mess, very crowded when they have live events. I booked a place but they didn't kept a free place at the bar, so I went away. At least they don't bother with the silly "couples or mixed groups" policy. International environment. 3 stars as average for the two visits.

First, the outer room was very cold, and I had to move inside. I had been fasting so i was very hungry so ordered an appetizer, but they brought it out with the main dish, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. I ordered the vegetable tempura and the maestro chicken. The food was extremely bland - nothing had been seasoned, no garlic, nothing. There were only two types of vegetables in the tempura - onion and zucchini. There was no seasoning in the batter and the zucchini was extremely squishy on the inside. The potatoes with the chicken had no seasoning. There was a sauce on the chicken but the chicken itself was bland. In addition, it was quite expensive. 24 JD for these two dishes plus a water and a matrix.

It was an absolute perfect experience in Amman. The ambiance is very good, service is spotless , they have shisha and it is very good. But mostly negroni was amazingly good. Just give it a go and I can assure you won’t regret it.

The service is the worse part about this pub. My wife and I ordered a burger and chicken mushroom sandwich and both were great. The atmosphere is nice, it’s well lit and there’s a a bit do a breeze so it isn’t stuffy either. The service on the food was great. We were at a big table and they couldn’t keep track of orders. The big issue I had with the service was they never did a last call for happy hour even though there were 4 waiters for less than 20 tables.

Not the best place for food I guess, or I just got really unlucky. I had mushroom garlic that looked like a soup, bland; the strawberry salad pretty basic, totally passable. I had a Gin Basil with terrible taste. Best part of the place was the cat 😺

A cozy and nice rooftop with a beautiful view. Service is really special, the waiters were very polite and helpful and friendly! Well, for the food... it was absolutely delicious! Although their menue is Japanese Cusine based and mainly sushi, honestly there food is quite delicious for a person who doesn't like seafood and fish and cannot tolerate them, I couldn't help my self from trying as the food smelled really good. I tried Sushi for the first time in my life there and I could honestly say it was incredible. Another must to try is the Ston'd Tuna dish which is amazing and very delicious! Will definitely come back again!

I will never go. Ask to this place. The owner disrespectfully said that I wasn’t allowed back because I was American. He started sticking his things out and cursing in Arabic. The owner has no manners a and doesn’t deserve people’s business. I have never seen someone that hates their life as much as that man. He is very jealous and hates his life. And the sweets are always missing something. They want to you beg for something you payed for. The owner is trash. Now we know what kind of family he comes from.

A very delicious plate of oriental sweet ( Konafa) an extraordinary taste, you have to stand in a very long queue specially in the weekends because the shop is located in the the heart of the old market in East Amman, the beautiful organized calm clean city.

The best kunafa shop in Jordan (which is a traditional jordanian and Palestinian sweet that involves cheese and a crust layer on top drizzled with sugar syrup)... Fast service and fresh sweets!

Excellent wine tasting! We stopped by here after dinner since our hotel was only across the street. Their wines are excellent and I really liked their reds because it reminded me a lot of South American reds. The staff, Omar, was personable and excellent. He showed us around the cellar with the vintage wines and even the liquor. He also told us about the family that owns the winery. Unfortunately we could not make any purchase since we only brought our carry on luggage to this trip and had no room. We also had JR wines in our Royal Jordanian business class flight to Amman and leaving Amman. And we also had JR wines at the business class lounge because our RJ flight!

We came here a little early but they still allowed us to sit down. We ordered the wine tasting reserve experience and thoroughly enjoyed our server’s recommendations for both red and white wines. Our waiter originally brought us chorizo when we ordered prosciutto, and forgot our order of an additional platter, but these aren’t enough to bring this review down from five stars. I love this place!!!

Good wine, good environment with excellent service. Everyone was so nice and we were even able to do some Art painting. We had wine pairing and learned about foreign grapes grown in Jordanian soil.

This is where you can drink the freshest jr wine.It is located in the boulevard and is very clean. The staff is kind and the food is not many kinds but delicious.Wine testing is also possible, so you can taste various kinds of jr wine.

I honestly cannot believe how bad my experience at Iguana Rooftop was. From start to finish, the place was a complete disaster. The DJ had no idea what he was doing — every track felt wrong, and the sound system was unbearable. The speakers were crackling, the bass was uneven, and the music quality was painful to the ears. Things got even worse when the drummers arrived. Their drumming was so loud and overwhelming that it completely drowned out the music. It felt chaotic and irritating rather than entertaining, turning what should have been a fun night into a stressful noise fest. The only saving grace was our waiter, Abu Wadieh. He was genuinely kind, polite, and professional — a rare bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience. Everything else about this place was beyond disappointing. The management clearly doesn’t care about quality or customer experience. Honestly, I would not wish this experience on anyone, and this place doesn’t even deserve a single star.

I am deeply disappointment with the way I have been treated at your venue on multiple occasions. I have always been a loyal client and used to consider your place one of my favorites, but my recent experiences have completely changed my opinion. On two different occasions, I made my reservations well in advance—usually five days prior—and specifically requested a table in front of or near the DJ. Each time, I also confirmed the table’s location with your team on the same day of the reservation. Despite this, upon my arrival, I was told that my table was no longer available and was instead offered a table at the very back of the venue. The first incident occurred when I arrived at 9 PM after confirming everything earlier that day. The staff member, the one usually wearing a suit, refused to honor my confirmed table, saying it had been reserved for a week. An hour later, two men—much older—were seated at that same table, which was extremely disappointing and disrespectful. The same situation happened again yesterday. We were four women, and the manager or owner, named Haith, spoke to us in a very rude manner. He stated that the bar chairs were reserved and that my only option was a poor table at the back. When I said that if I had to leave the bar, I would rather leave the venue altogether, he simply agreed and gave the bar seats to four men instead. Although I raised my voice slightly out of frustration, I remained polite and respectful. However, the team’s attitude was dismissive and completely unprofessional. As someone who has visited your place countless times, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect—not ignored and downgraded without reason. You have unfortunately lost a loyal customer. I no longer recommend your venue to anyone, as your staff’s behavior and management approach are far from professional.

We had a reservation at this place, my friends and I, and when we arrived at the door, they refused to let us in using the excuse of a dress code even though we had spoken to them beforehand and were never informed about this requirement. As someone booking at this place for the first time, I honestly didn’t even think there would be a dress code, especially considering the name of the venue on social media: Iguana Rooftop Bar. From the name and overall vibe online, nothing suggested that it was a place that would enforce a dress code. The staff at the door were extremely rude and unpleasant when I simply asked for clarification on the dress code policy. Their tone made me feel like I was trying to get into some ultra-luxury venue, when in reality, the place doesn’t even give the impression of being a proper club let alone something like the Ritz in London. This was my first and definitely last time visiting a place like this. Thank you for the disappointing experience and for giving such a poor impression to a visitor who just wanted to enjoy a rooftop evening. Your social media presents the place as a rooftop bar, but suddenly at the door, it's a club with parties and strict rules. We were treated as if we were asking for a favor, not customers with a reservation. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If your team had communicated the dress code clearly and treated us with respect, it would’ve been easier to understand and accept. But the attitude and the way things were handled were completely off. You’re living in an image that this place simply doesn’t live up to. Please, take a look at the places that truly have a dress code see how they operate, how they communicate, and how they treat guests. And if you're calling yourselves a club and not a bar, at least make that clear on your social media platforms.

This place is extremely unprofessional. From the moment we interacted with the staff, their attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming. Instead of treating guests with basic courtesy, they showed rudeness and zero effort to help or accommodate. There was no respect, no apology, no sense of customer care—just stubbornness and arrogance. I would never recommend this rooftop to anyone expecting professionalism or a pleasant experience.

I had a really disappointing experience at this rooftop. The staff and customer service were completely unprofessional. Before going, we asked on Instagram if a reservation was needed and they clearly told us “no” between 9:30–10:00. We arrived at 10:00, only two people, and they refused to let us in. When we called for clarification, the response was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful. No apology, no attempt to solve the issue, just stubbornness and rudeness. Honestly, very bad treatment and not the kind of place I would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Was on a table of people and even though we ordered a lot of stuff that was shared, when I wanted to leave earlier and just pay what wasn’t shared they forced me to pay a minimum charge which the waiter told me the difference would be added to the table. When the same waiter came later on he told them that I had not paid my minimum charge. Highly unprofessional.

We had worst experience in this lounge yesterday.When we reach place,waiter ask us to seat our daughter in the chair and not let her move out,seems like she can’t even make few steps in the place around our table.I still cant understand that weird request.The place was almost empty and our daughter didn’t disturb no one.We leave immediately.Wish I can rate it with 0.Only view is amazing but not worth it due luck of service.

The arrangement of the tables is uncomfortable, it lacks privacy. The DJ was okay but could be better, the service was not that helpful. We ordered dessert which did not meet our expectations. As a lounge, there were plenty of underage customers which made me question the place. I wouldn't come back here again

The place is beautiful, but with only 3 tables you require a 50jd minimum for a table of 2??? We spent more but don’t force it on me because after one drink I would have left honestly. Get it together. We asked to go inside because it’s cold n they said no it’s closed. I raised my hand like I’m in class to get the attention of the waiters. They bring you the order and don’t check on you after. The food portions are veryyyyyy small for the price. The drinks are ok, not up to par with the decor of the spot. Shame honestly. Great potential just needs some TLC

The view is really nice, we had only cheese platter, it wasn’t so yummy, we went during the week and it was empty, but the only problem was the music it was horrible, it doesn’t match at all with the view! So you don’t chill at all 😅😅

One of the worst experiences ever… things were lost from my car at the valet, I got poisoned from the food. At the booking they asked for 15 jods as cover charge and when we arrived they asked for 25!!!

Sufra. Situated in an early 20th-century villa, Sufra serves Jordanian classics, such as mansaf. The restaurant is very popular because of its charming sitting and serving classic Jordanian dishes in upscale dining atmosphere. The potential and the ambition to deliver outstanding fine food is visible and tangible. However, Sufra fails to deliver on its mission. The food was good but nothing to rave about.

The food was good, and the atmosphere in the backyard garden is fantastic. We had dimseh (lentils and eggplant), hummus and fasoulia (stewed green beans), and the mashawi (for one) and mansaf. All was delicious, and so was the complimentary fresh bread. It was plenty of food for 4 people, unless you are very hungry. I thought the prices were fair for the quality and the setting.

Gorgeous backyard. Succulent grilled lamb and kebabs. Mouttaba and hummus to die for. Fresh and crunchy fatteh. Plus other dishes which im unfamiliar with but can testify to its balanced deliciousness. By far the best meal I've had in Amman. Service and ambience couldn't be faulted. Would easily come back for more.

This was my favourite meal while in Jordan. The garden in the back is gorgeous and very welcoming. They brought a generous portion of olives at the heginning. We had the spinach fatayer sabanekh as a nice little appetizer. Then we had the mnazalet beitinjan (eggplant) which was warm and delicious with the sajeyeh lamb. Everything was so flavourful. I wish we could have gone back again! I highly recommend it.

Ordered some mezze dishes and the chicken in clay pot. Had a business meeting and didn't have a lot of time but they were very accommodating and served the food super fast. The setting is amazing: an old house with traditional tile floors and its garden with a fountain and huge palm trees, converted into a restaurant with multiple rooms and levels for more people to enjoy. The pictures can speak for themselves. The food was very fresh and made with care. All in all a superb experience for my first authentic Jordanian lunch in Amman.

The entrance, adorned with vibrant bougainvillea flowers and a lush garden, is absolutely beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. Portions were quite small for the prices charged, and the flavours were rather ordinary. The dishes lacked visual appeal, not a single garnish, green herb, or lemon slice that Middle Eastern cuisine is usually known for. Given that this restaurant is associated with Romero, once reputed for its excellent food, I was disappointed. They really need to elevate their dishes in both presentation and taste, or reconsider their pricing to better reflect the quality offered.

Pretty nice vibe, excellent food and great service. They have happy hour before 6pm I really enjoyed the sliders and the local beer is really good. They did double charge our credit card and had to go back for a cash refund. But otherwise I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

The place looks beautiful and gives you multiple food options of every kind. I love this place. There’s a happy hour every day and stops at 6 pm. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered a nacho plate and a fried platter as well as bone marrow steak with 2 bears and two peach ice tea. They were all equally delicious. The prices are reasonable with the happy hour otherwise super expensive. Definitely recommended.

Went there for drinks—the selection of cocktails is limited and everything is on the sweeter side. We had a daiquiri and an old fashioned, off menu. Both tasted like mocktails. But the vibe is really chill and live music is a nice touch. The bartender was attentive. However, would not recommend for the price.

Very Disappointed – Not What I Expected from a Supposed Luxury Venue I was recently at Caprice and witnessed a serious altercation between a group of guys and girls. Shockingly, none of the security staff stepped in or removed the people causing the disturbance. What’s even more surprising is that the venue was openly welcoming tables of only guys — no mixed groups — which completely ruined the atmosphere. Everyone around was watching the situation unfold, and the staff did absolutely nothing. For a place that markets itself as a luxury destination, this was far from it. The night quickly turned from enjoyable to uncomfortable and chaotic. Extremely disappointing.

The place’s manager was running after us in the hotel front of everyone saying we have not paid the bill, after that one of the servers has not put some drinks we ordered mistakenly in the bill as we switched tables. No customer service skills at all for such behavior coming from the head of team, no clue how they blame customers for their mistakes and make a bad reputation for their business and the Hotel as well. Funny and shocking to be in such place with very poor customer service and conversation skills. You need to tell them what you ordered before you leave because they might forget and follow you running to your car to pay the rest of the bill. 😂

A very interesting concept for a cafe bar. I really enjoyed the rooftop. The view was incredible but the food was somewhat bland and uninspiring. However, the atmosphere was quite good. I was visiting a friend that I haven't seen in 25 years since college. So that just added to the special atmosphere and we were speaking loudly and it didn't bother anyone. So if you're looking for a place to get together with friends, this is not a bad one at all. And when you get a chance on your way out, check out all those interesting art books.

I visited this branch three times during my stay, and overall, it stands out as one of the better locations due to its convenient location near my hotel and the fact that it closes late, which makes it very accessible. Here are my key observations: • The staff member Asaad is by far the best at this branch. He was consistently professional, friendly, and attentive throughout all my visits. • The food is delicious and well-prepared, and the drinks are served cold and refreshing. However, I did notice preferential treatment given to returning customers over new ones. When I inquired multiple times about sitting on the second floor, I was told it was either only for the bar area or that all the tables were reserved. Despite that, I observed that no one actually came to those “reserved” tables, and shortly after, regular customers were seated there instead. This kind of inconsistent and biased service is disappointing. There should be a clear and standardized protocol for seating and customer service that treats all guests fairly, regardless of whether they are new or returning customers. Overall, I give this branch 3 out of 5 stars, with the three stars attributed to: • The exceptional service by Asaad, • The high quality of food and beverages, • And the great location. The remaining two stars were deducted due to the inconsistent service and lack of fairness in how customers are treated. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration to improve the customer experience for everyone.

The menu isn't very interesting, not many vegetarian options. Taste of food very basic and blant. Asked for a birthday brownie, it was delivered to the table without any birthday music or singing. Even the ice cream on it tasted weird. Not a wow here!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place really disappointed me. Very disappointing experience, especially since I come here quite often with my friends and the whole team knows me well. I was sitting at a nice table outside when, for no reason, the staff asked me to move to a much worse spot inside — even though the terrace was nearly empty and everyone else was still sitting outside. It felt disrespectful and completely unnecessary, particularly toward a regular customer. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with even a basic level of respect.

Bonita is an old favorite. I have been going there since I was a teenager. The food is great and affordable and their small selection of wine and beers is very good. The owner often brings fresh produce from her farm. Her son is always around making sure everyone is happy. The staff is marvelous, as is the case anywhere in Amman, very sweet and accommodating.

To keep it short and simple , Hair in my tacos, watery mojito, and bland, below-average chicken quesadillas. The staff was rude and dismissive—no apology, no care. The menu was weird, and nothing tasted fresh. The only memorable thing was the music. Horrible experience. Definitely not worth it.

Our family loves Bonita. We go there for our anniversaries and birthdays. Of course night time Bonita is different than day time Bonita. The lights, the atmosphere, service, music, people… nighttime Bonita is super fun. Food-wise, while I love this place, I don’t know how to describe my issue with the food. In some sense, it feels like your aunt’s cooking, but you still love it because, it’s good food, her house is beautiful, and she is lovely! The paella is filled with seafood (but missing the Saffron taste and the aioli) and it’s pretty good. The salads need a reboot of the dressings. Most everything tastes good. Not pictured here but we’ve had their smoked platter, oxtail (delish), Patatas bravas are actually really good, the croquetas are decent, their garlic shrimps are delicious, octopus also delish! You name it, we’ve tried it. A few dishes need tweaking and tightening, but you won’t leave here disappointed. Just go at night 😉

The chicken wings were not cooked in Provençal sauce as you can see in advertised picture posted by restaurant, the other chicken dish with saffron rice- is cooked with white rice and not saffron!!!

I recently visited Bonita, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was lovely, setting the perfect mood for a memorable meal. However, the prices were on the expensive side. Despite that, the quality of the food and service made it a worthwhile visit for those seeking a special dining experience.

The food is genuinely good and the staff are super friendly and attentive, which makes for a welcoming atmosphere. That said, the Old Fashioned wasn’t quite up to par — a bit unbalanced and not what you’d expect from a place with this vibe. Also, be aware: it’s an indoor venue where smoking is allowed, so if you’re a non-smoker, it can get pretty overwhelming at times. Worth a visit for the food and service, but maybe not the best spot if you’re sensitive to smoke.

Great indoor bar & restaurant located in swefieh. We ordered taco salad. It was good and super heavy, lacked a bit of dressing. For main courses we ordered steak and cheese sandwich, burger and fries, grilled chicken and fillet mignon. The burger and fries were so good, the steak and cheese sandwich was mid, the grilled chicken was juicy and so was fillet mignon. The portions were amazing as well. Recommended!

The ambiance is great, service is decent as well, but: - The red wine was off when it’s first serviced, although the waiter opened a new bottle; - The final bill was 11.18 or something, but was charged 12 without any notification. I understand if you want tips, but you don’t do it by yourself.

Really liked the atmosphere, drinks and food were very good. Service was very good. However a huge disappointment was when the bill came. When we first arrived my colleague asked about Happy Hour. He was told drinks were 50% off during Happy Hour. However, when the bill came we were told Happy Hour was only 25% off drinks. Big difference, and a Huge disappointment.

I loved the atmosphere and the drinks were decently priced and tasted good. My one qualm was with the service; bartender told us it was last call (12:20), but they closed at 1. Then 15 minutes later a group of men came in and the bartender served them. Very unfair. Menu looked delicious and unique but the kitchen was closed when we got there.

Situated down the side alley behind the hotel and Irish Pub you will find “Off the Record”- Hands down the best bar in town if you like great cocktails, bartenders who know what they are doing, a great atmosphere , and some of the best small plate food around. (The Avocado Crab). The dimly lit speak easy if a perfect setting for pre-dinner , post dinner ,or just a place to sit all night with some of you coworkers or a special someone. Apparently it is only open during the winter months which is unfortunate . So there are some downsides. Everyone in Jordan smokes which means everyone in this bar smokes and the ventilation is not so great , so be prepared to smell like smoke when you leave and enjoy everyone else’s cigarettes for them . The prices are high. - to high . This is clearly done to focus on a particular clientele, but at some point I’d rather just fly to NYC to have a $20 drink. lastly there is some inconsistency about treatment. While the place wants to style itself as an exclusive venue, the manner in which the doormen and managers engage is hit or miss. I have had little trouble but usually it takes a discussion to enter the bar which is at the time of my arrival virtually empty . I understand reservations , but accommodating guests is what will buy loyalty . Not a good location for kids.

Went for a drink at midnight with 2 girlfriends. We were warned at the door that the clocks had gone forward so therefore it would be closing shortly so we said we just wanted one drink and will leave. We were seated and we ordered our drinks. Then we were told that there is a minimum charge of 25jd per head. We explained that we hadn't been told of this at the door and it would be unfair for us to pay it considering they were close to closing and we just wanted one drink and to leave. We asked for the manager and he insisted that we pay 25jd each or leave. We were shocked at this treatment especially to 3 ladies at the end of the night. We left immediately extremely disappointed and embarrassed by the treatment. Very shocked at such bad customer treatment. The manager should be reprimanded by the owner for sure!

It was the perfect place for a birthday celebration. Gorgeous view and tasty food. Everything was delicious & Omran our server was very attentive to all our needs. We sat outdoors on the rooftop but there is indoor seating as well. I also enjoyed the soccer match on the TV. I had the jumbo shrimp and my wife tried the lamb shank. The spinach cheese dip appetiser was delicious as well.

We had an absolutely amazing time dining at Next Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations — the food, the ambiance, the view, and especially the service. I want to give a special shout-out to Jadar, who was hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had — and I say that as someone who regularly dines at 5-star restaurants. His attentiveness, professionalism, and warm energy took the entire experience to the next level. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully plated and even more impressive in flavor. It’s clear the chef truly knows what they’re doing — each bite was balanced, creative, and memorable. The vibe in the restaurant was upscale but not pretentious, and the view added a perfect backdrop to an already incredible evening. Next Restaurant is a true gem.

Staying nearby I thought I'd try a different place to eat. Spoke to a waiter and found a table, kept staring towards the bar for 5 minutes until someone noticed and finally someone came over. Food was OK, no one checked to see how everything was or if I needed anything. No sign of the waiter again, but luckily the guy behind the bar looked my way, so managed to order another drink. Finished my meal, and wanted another drink, unfortunately all the staff were busy talking, so approached the bar, paid my bill and left. To summarise, it's a great view from the restaurant, the food was OK, but the table service is terrible.

Great place with an amazing rooftop view An excellent experience at Next Rooftop! We were four people and ordered several dishes that were highly recommended by the staff member Rakan, and they were all very good. The food and drinks were fantastic and definitely worth trying. A special thanks to the manager Ali for the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. We really enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and the great music. Highly recommended to everyone!

Next Rooftop has a beautiful view and seating, but the atmosphere felt off from the start, it definitely comes across more as a first-date meet up spot. We came just for tea, but the waiter told us they don’t serve any tea or coffee and that the place is basically just a meet up spot for people.

The good: The food was nice, the vibe was nice, the decor was nice, the view of Amman was good, we felt welcome The not so good: 1. This place was as expensive as London 2. Service was however way too much for a western travellers - we felt that we couldn’t eat and enjoy in peace. We were constantly being watched and there were many occasions that annoyed us - E.g: - You use a tissue and they come over take a new tissue and take your used one away immediately (very wasteful and unnecessary, because of this the table probably used 20 tissues) - My girlfriend was dipping her mozzarella stick in the sauce and the waiter started to take the sauce away from her while she was still dipping her food and we were just both so confused because his hand was near her food and she was still using the sauce and then he didn’t let go and said carry on and as soon as she finished dipping the stick, he took the sauce. (We were just shocked, like what if I still want that, why are you near my food, just leave me alone) -My girlfriend had a glass of Coke that was 30% full and the guy came over and asked if she’s done (no we are not, there is still drink in there) These sound like minor complaints but it was the entire theme of the night. The service was so overpowered that it was really annoying. We couldn’t sit in peace and we got to a point where we were just looking with side eye to see whether the next person will come and try and take something from the table before we were done - in our head we were just like leave us alone. (Maybe this level of service is normal but it was really really annoying to us coming from the UK) It definitely wasn’t a feeling of being rushed off the table because there were free tables, but we think it was all done to justify the high service charge. There was an extra 26% we had to add on the bill for tax and service charge on top of the London prices and to us that was insane. When we saw this we only stayed because it was 1AM and we wanted to fit some Amman time into our busy schedule.

Amazing rooftop experience! This place is a hidden gem! The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant – perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lovely bar and place to eat. Staff amazing and reminded us of happy hour so get orders in. Relaxed atmosphere and lovely surroundings. If you’re in Amman definitely check this place out I would highly recommend

Very smokey, overpriced and the wine tasted like vinegar. The service was okay, not cold but not friendly. I wouldn't go again.
