Restaurant
Em Sherif is a renowned upscale restaurant in Beirut, known for its authentic Lebanese cuisine and fine-dining experience. Founded by self-taught chef Mireille Hayek in 2010, the restaurant aims to recreate the warmth and hospitality of traditional Lebanese households through its home-cooked meals. The ambiance is designed to resemble a luxurious Lebanese home, with antique-style decor creating a nostalgic atmosphere.
You want to try the best Lebanese food experience? Go to Em Sherif. This location has a set menu, many food options, the taste is a 10/10. Favorite Lebanese food in Lebanon! We went on a Sunday night. The vibes of the singer were great!
Gabriella M — Google review
The food is amazing and the service is very fast. Their set menu is amazing for groups and offers all kinds of lebanese dishes.
Marilyn — Google review
Em Sherif never disappoints, and its summer location at the Palm Beach Warwick Hotel is truly something special. With superb vibes and a breathtaking view over Beirut, it’s the perfect spot to savor the city in all its beauty. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, with a stunning interior that elevates the whole experience. And of course, the food remains as exceptional as ever…rich, authentic, and full of flavor. A place that captures the spirit of Beirut at its finest.
Elie A — Google review
Food tastes good. But honestly speaking, the set menu is definitely overserved. The quantity is way too much for the number of personas it served, I happen to over hear the next table commented the same. Fine restaurants need to be conscious about the food waste instead of showing off. Besides, this restaurant doesn’t allow take away. It even makes it worse
JL — Google review
You’re slowly biting into a piece of Sambousek covered in Hummus, with some Hindbeh leaves in the mix… You close your eyes to savor the moment as you let the explosion of flavors invade you. A nostalgic Fairuz song is playing in the background, and a soft breeze is caressing your cheeks. Life is good. It’s especially good at Em Sherif where the culinary experience combines richness and delicateness, comfort and elegance, past and present. A word of caution: you may have to roll out of the place, as walking would be physically impossible after what can only be described as a gargantuan feast… So you may want to pace yourself. It’s a set menu that takes the stress out of ordering, and ensures that energy is re-directed towards devouring the meal. And it’s classically Lebanese, with the cold and hot appetizers, the warm main dishes, and the desserts, all with small refined portions. Everything was delicious but if I were to pick some highlights: - The minced meat Rkakat and Sambousek were so scrumptious yet delicate at the same time - The Kibbeh with yogurt is another hit. The flavoring, the umami, the freshness of the yoghurt…combine magically together - Then when you think you’re done… comes a pleasant surprise: A muffin-shaped puff pastry filled with rice, minced meat, chicken and a whole array of condiments (raisins, almonds, shaved carrots, peas), sprinkled with a cinnamon flavored gravy… Sort of a “Riz aa Djej” with a twist. You won’t know what hit you. And you might come back for a second, third, maybe even a fourth serving. - The desserts.. what a beautiful note to end this extraordinary performance on. The date and molasses cake might trigger a few inappropriate sounds of approval. The Mhallabye with the loukoum and biscuits will feel decadently sinful. It’s a beautiful experience. Yes your tummy will beg you to stop, but your your heart and soul will beg for an Encore…

Great food ! One of the best lebanese food in beirut. I loved also the wall with the plates and the roof decoration that matches the interior. The service was very good and the food was abundant. I especially loved the fattouch and cherry kebab. The dessert was also very good.

I visited Em Sherif on a Saturday night, everything was great from the welcoming to the service to the food to the entertainment, it is all under one theme. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food tastes delicious and you cannot ignore the food‘s presentation. We enjoyed our dinner with live music entertainment reflecting old Lebanese songs. It is a great place to taste the Lebanese cuisine and live a cultural experience.

Zaatar W Zeit is a renowned Lebanese restaurant that has become an iconic dining option in Beirut. It is known for its delicious and diverse menu, making it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers a variety of options including vegan dishes, making it suitable for those with dietary restrictions. Customers have praised the quality of the food, friendly staff, and pleasant ambiance at Zaatar W Zeit locations.
I recently traveled from the UK to Beirut and had the pleasure of dining at Zaatar w Zait. The experience was fantastic! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. However, I did find the prices to be a bit higher compared to other nearby places. This is the only reason I'm giving Zaatar w Zait 4 stars instead of 5. Despite this, I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in Beirut. The quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth a visit.
Sleman S — Google review
I decided to try the Caesar Deluxe Salad for a healthy dinner option. Unfortunately, the only redeeming feature was the grilled chicken on top. Beyond that, the salad was underwhelming, especially given the high price.
Mohammad H — Google review
Trued the bliss branch yesterday for breakfast. The food was good. Citrus power was awesome👍 their doughs are special for egg wrap and manakeesh. Halloumi sticks are yummy! Great service 👍
Ola K — Google review
Very delicious Mankoushi, I recommend cereal dough!

We stopped by Zaatar w Zeit For some food, the ambience is nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. As for the food everything tasted really good I’m a fan of the Halloumi in find pan and fries with cheese. I enjoyed the eco friendly shift they are doing, they now use paper straws instead of plastic which is really nice.

I feel sorry how this restaurant quality deteriorated even though it has a qualified and friendly staff but the taste is disastrous

The feta kale kinoa salad had literally three pieces of sweet potatoes despite its high price

Very good and caring service. You feel full after having your snack or lunch, and at the same time the food here is generally light and slight to the stomach. The food is fresh, too. Cleanliness and neatness are good.

Kababji is a delightful gem in the heart of Lebanon, renowned for its authentic traditional cuisine. One standout dish is their Lahme Beajine, featuring a perfect blend of crunchy borders and chewy dough topped with savory ground meat and a hint of pomegranate molasses. The balance of flavors makes it an irresistible choice! Kababji also caters to various dietary preferences with its special Lent menu, offering delicious plant-based sandwiches and combo meals that are perfect for dining in or grabbing on the go.
Kababji is my go-to for grills! The mixed grill, veal grilled, and tawook are incredibly tasty with high-quality ingredients. Portions are perfect, and while prices are a bit higher, it’s worth it for the top-notch quality. One of the best places I’ve tried!
Azaria C — Google review
A very good Lebanese restaurant in the midst of the bustling Hamra street. Take a break from the chaos outside and enjoy some good food. The place is usually full so expect delays in service. The prices are slightly on the higher side but understandably so, given the fact that it is located in a posh area of the city. The food is very good, especially the Kofta's, the staff is even more friendly and welcoming
Shaik M — Google review
Very cheap tiny portions. You need to order 4 dishes to be full. The quantity of food is dismal and the quality is poor. They fill your sandwich with hummus instead of the kbobs. lt is quite expensive too. We ordered 2 dishes each and still left very hungry. I was very disappointed. This place is a hype. Whoever designed their menu portions and all their managers should be fired. I will never go back to that place again
Ayman S — Google review
Whilst scanning over simple places to eat around Beirut. Kebabji comes up a fair amount since they have branches all over by the looks of things and all of them have pretty decent reviews. I picked the branch near my hotel because it was 2 blocks away, right in the center of Hamra. I went for the Motubal and Fatoush salad, the great thing is they offer 1/2 portions for a majority of the starters, this is something other restaurants could learn from. Both were very good. For the main I went for the Taouk (Chicken) and Kebab platter, which came with grilled onions, tomatoes and potatoes. Both kebabs were great, the Kebabji twist is that they use veal for all of the kebabs that would usually be beef. This means the kebabs are much juicer and tender. Being a Friday I was expecting it to be busier since it was around 9pm. There were only a few diners seated. Hence why I have marked down the atmosphere. Lots of people collecting takeout orders and delivery orders.
Fasih R — Google review
I went here for dinner with some friends and we easily found a table. The food was very good, but I was expecting more from the Kabab Halabi as it was not as delicious as in other places. The rest of the food was amazing. Well presented and fresh it was a joy for all of us. I recommend the arayes. This traditional Lebanese snack surprised me with its texture and spices.
Albert B — Google review
This is a classic in Beirut. A pioneer in pita wraps variety menu. They got good service at an exceptional location in the middle of Hamra street. The food is very tasty and well presented. This place is not a good bargain. Some of the sandwiches are over priced.

The customer service lady is unprofessional and knows nothing about customers or service. 18 years in the business and you still don't know how to treat your customers right. Replace her ASAP before you lose all your customers

DIVVY is a beautiful restaurant with great and fast service. The food is amazing and everyone who visits loves it.
Absolutely loved our experience trying the new menu! The service was exquisite—our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made the meal feel extra special. We started with the beef katsu as an appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The salad was just right, fresh and well-balanced, setting the tone for the meal. The parmigiana was a hit—comforting, rich, and full of flavor. To top it all off, the chocolate fondant was the perfect ending—decadent and indulgent. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience!

Always my go to place for buffalo chicken tortillas:) I went on a Saturday night, the food was really good. I had the buffalo chicken tortillas and volcanic shrimps as starters, smashed burger and mongolian chicken as main dishes. All of them were fresh and delicious but you should definitely share because the portions are big. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend it for lunch/dinner with friends, family and a date:)

DIVVY is quality food accompanied by great service and nice ambiance. I have nothing to say except that this is a place to visit often if you really want to enjoy an experience. Oishi crab salad, chicken piccata, Nutella lava cake are my favorite items.
Angela K — Google review
The variety of food is so good and the taste so good that it makes each dish special. We tried the drinks the “smash it” it’s very recommended and it keeps you refreshed. We tried their famous caramelized Mongolian chicken and the Mumbai chicken. The portion is big. No music was played. The WC could be better. As usual Gemmayze is difficult to find a parking .

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Lebanon, Ahwak Café City Centre is the place to be. With four branches to choose from, this trendy Lebanese restaurant offers an enticing menu that includes starters, mezze, main dishes, desserts, and refreshing juices—all for a reasonable price. The ambiance beautifully blends traditional Lebanese decor with modern touches, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of home-cooked meals.
Very nice place and food , must try their arguileh and their sweets
Reslan A — Google review
A very good cafe with great food and good shisha, they have indoor and outdoor seatings with different table sizes. Their menu has lots of options for all tastes, and their service is fast. The only thing they need to take care of is the discussion between waiters in front of clients, like one is saying to the other that some customer left something he loves go and get it fast, they definitely need more training.
Adib D — Google review
A friendly place with good food. The burger was a nice surprise in terms of quality and taste. The service is professional and prices were well balanced offering a variety of choices.

After spending a long hectic day, having a good meal at one of the trendiest lebanese restaurant in lebanon"Ahwak" was a necessity. As we enterred the place, the whole set up was in harmony with the traditionnal lebanese way and a touch of modernism. Having our table prepared, we were ready to make our order. We asked for several dishes and it really felt like home, at my mother's kitchen so much. The taste and smell were authentic and we have enjoyed it till the last bite. As for the service, the waiter was helpful and anxious to please us. Right after this big heavy meal, we have been surprisingly invited to taste some exquisite desserts as a gesture of recognition from the management which we appreciate a lot... Ahwak... we will definitely come back soon..

As Ramadan approaches in 2025, Beirut will embrace a month filled with spiritual reflection and community bonding from February 28 to March 30. This sacred time is marked by fasting from dawn until sunset, beginning with Sehri and concluding with Iftar. During this period, Muslims focus on prayer, charity, and good deeds while enjoying the vibrant culture of the city. One delightful aspect of Ramadan in Beirut is indulging in "Ramadan Juice.
Well priced and good portions and delicious

Oh my God, so vulgar and disrespectful staff. And i found pieces of rotten leaves. And they didn't prepare it infront of us so we cant know if they are even fresh. It tasted like sugar, no fruity taste. I totally regret it!

Nice juice shop with a variety of options and cheap prices. Quick and friendly service, though the place barely fits 5 people sitting, no bathroom, and barely a sink with no soap.
Rudy F — Google review
This place has one of the best juice/fruits in Beirut. They have decent portions, juice always tastes fresh, which is the deal breaker for juice shops, and their prices are reasonable for the portion you get! I haven’t had any negative experience from this place, but the only thing I want to shed light on is the overall hygiene, it should be improved, and I recommend workers to constantly were gloves!
Wael G — Google review
HORRIBLE!! I got food poisoning after trying this place. They put the worst quality of fruits and ashta. They don’t make the cocktail infront of you! That way you don’t see what type of rubbish is being put. I should’ve took that as a sign that this is a bad place.

If you're on the hunt for a delicious and budget-friendly meal, look no further than Roadster Diner. Established in 1998, this beloved burger joint has expanded to 14 locations across the city, each exuding a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of classic American diners from the 1950s. Whether you’re craving their exclusive Lent menu featuring mouthwatering vegan tacos or fresh salad bowls, Roadster Diner caters to all tastes.
This is a wonderful restaurant. Beautifully decorated, vast, and comfortable. There are too many food options, from sandwiches, burgers, platters, pastas, even vegan food. Staff are kind, outgoing, and friendly, they always check on your needs, and help you decide your order. Waiting time is minimal, and prices are a little bit expensive. Overall, I loved this place and would like to visit again. Totally Recommended.
Mahdi N — Google review
Due to its proximity to a university, you would expect it to be full of students. It was very noisy. However food and service are excellent
Zeinab D — Google review
Crowded and extremely noisy but nice waiters. However the food is extremely bad, tried the new sandwiches; O.G steak; Chicken Alfredo; Chicken pesto. All bad. Extremely big difference from the picture, as the bread is way too big in comparison to the filling and the sandwich is too oily and has that dirty grill flavor. Also the dynamite shrimp peanut salad was just plain coleslaw, the shrimps were tasty but i wouldnt call it a salad. Probably the last time I visit a roadster as the food quality is horrible and so is the aftertaste.
Sara A — Google review
Very nice place when craving for fast food and specially for burgers, welcoming staff, polite waiters, fast service, delicious food and fresh as usually, recommended.
Toni S — Google review
one of the best diners in this category, but still very expensive although it offers high quality food, must try

Cheat day favorite and whenever in Hamra as well. the good thing about the crowne plaza branch is speed and friendly staff. My menu is: Buffalo wings (might be very spicy for some), the pizza rolls, and of-course "the almighty" Route 66 burger, and if you are one of the no meat-no chicken fun spoilers go for the veggie Orzo pasta or the field greens salad :D Prices are fair for Beirut standards, portions are perfect in size, might be crowded sometimes but you can always find a seat
Imad B — Google review
Enjoyed this Roadster location in Hamra. It's good when you are.there with kids as they have many options to play in the same building (bowling, arcade...) and it's safe. The food is tasty, you should try the steak. Service was very prompt and waiters are courteous. I strongly recommend this place.

Mayrig is a renowned Armenian restaurant in Beirut, known for its traditional dishes made with fresh ingredients and silk road spices. The restaurant has gained popularity over the years, attracting both locals and expats. Despite being affected by the Beirut Blast, Mayrig was able to make a comeback with the help of crowd-funding. Its success has led to the opening of another branch in Cairo, Egypt.
I can't tolerate smoking, they assured me on the phone that the non smoking section is fully air conditioned and no smoke reaches the area. I found out that this was totally right. A good start. The welcome was very warm. The variety of the menu is overwhelming. I tried to pick as many as we can eat so that we finish our plates. Cold meza hot meza, plus kebab and mente and 2 lamb shanks with frikeh. The taste was exquisite. Very delicious. We loved the itch, raw meat, basterma with quail eggs, soujouk wraps, hummus, kebab wow, mente was well cooked when you add the sauce and yogurt and the summac it became extremely delicious. The lamb very well cooked, to perfection. The dessert we picked three different kinds, being a family that like sweetness we found that the dessert was not sweet enough, maybe good for people who like it that way. The service was exceptional, Avo was very kind and helpful and funny even if he refused to dance for us.🤣🤣🤣😂😂 The manager stopped twice by our table for feedback. Must go back again. Highly recommended.
Rabih C — Google review
The atmosphere at Mayrig is absolutely beautiful, and the service was impressively fast even though the restaurant was fully packed. The staff were welcoming, kind, and always smiling. I truly enjoyed discovering Armenian cuisine — I think I came to the right place! Every dish had its own story of rich and unique flavors. The Cherry Kebab (Kofta) was very delicious, but I would love to see it a bit juicier next time. It felt slightly dry, and I think it would be perfect if it were cooked with more cherry sauce so the flavors could soak in better. 🍒 Overall, a wonderful experience — can’t wait to come back! 🍽️✨

Great food and fantastic atmosphere! There was live music and the vibe was hyped upstairs and chill in the patio. The food 10/10. We got the cauliflower, Mante, Muhammara and the zaatar martini. So so so good! We LOVED all of it specially the cauliflower, even my chicken-loving boyfriend loved the cauliflower. You pay for the flavors but also the experience. Our waiter was very friendly and performed Armenian dancing. So cute! Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend coming here! Maybe a bit pricey but worth the visit! I went on a Friday night and there was lovely live music! The staff, especially Maria and Abud, were amazing! I’m traveling by myself, which is sometimes lonely, but they made me feel at home right away and gave great service! I hadn’t reserve a table but they made it work for me. The atmosphere is lovely!

Absolutely stunning vibes. The food was great. We had the salad selection, and every single one had its own distinct flavour, all were lovely. The lamb shank with freekeh was full of flavour, and the lamb was tender. On the night we went, Elias Hebbo was playing live outside. The staff had told us about it when we called to book, and I’m really glad they did. We enjoyed the music as much as the food. Would highly recommend!

Mayrig is something special. Beautiful Armenian flavours, rich with tradition and made with care. The setting is elegant but inviting, and the service was exceptional, so much attention to detail and genuinely warm hospitality. Every dish felt thoughtful and considered. Restaurant
Babel Bay is a chic and popular restaurant located in Beirut, Lebanon, known for its flavorful seafood dishes made with fresh ingredients. The interior is designed to be homey and attentive, featuring a small library, a wooden bar, and a study area. It's an ideal spot for couples looking for a romantic dining experience with delectable food in a private setting. The restaurant offers unique flavors and exceptional preparations that take seafood to the next level.
⸻ The place has a beautiful setting, overlooking Zaytouna Bay. Service was excellent, and the food was amazing especially the savory dishes. The achta ice cream was good, and while the fruit presentation was appealing, the taste didn’t quite match. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!
Sylvester R — Google review
Amazing experience at this restaurant in Beirut. We stopped by to grab a small bite and ended up having a full meal. After we finished our delicious food and drinks, they served free deserts, fruit and coffee. It was completely unexpected and really appreciated!

The restaurant look amazing and the service was brilliant. Dishes was perfectly cooked, came out fast, looked and smelled great! Staffs were extremely friendly and polite. Highly recommended.

I'm not a fish person but at this restaurant I had the best fish experience of my life. I was entertained every time and the dessert they serve is very tasty and gives a nice finishing touch after the meal.

Babel is constant and consistent. The entrees are alone are absolutely delicious way before you get to start with your choice of fresh fish. Yummy from start to finish; consistently!
Ali S — Google review
Impeccable service. Our fish took a bit long to arrive but they apologized several times without us even complaining, very thoughtful. The food is really good and the presentation is nice. They also serve dessert and fruits at the end and it is really good! I love the hot towel they give at the end. It is definitely a very very high end restaurant. Highly recommended for tourists. The only thing I did not like was the wara2 3enab as it wasn’t as tasteful as expected.
Joudy — Google review
Babel Bay always delivers a polished and memorable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the attention to detail was evident. We asked about a menu item that wasn’t available, and the way the hostess explained the alternative reminded me why this place stands out—staff are clearly well-trained, familiar with every detail of the menu, and genuinely focused on the guest experience. The food, as always, was delicious. Even on a public holiday, the level of service didn’t drop—a rare thing in Beirut. And the small touches, like the presentation of the hot towels, continue to reflect the elegance and consistency that Babel is known for. If I may offer a gentle suggestion or two: • For raw fish dishes, a bit of ice underneath would help keep things perfectly fresh—especially during warmer weather. • And for the bread service, maybe consider placing the hot bread separately from any plastic-wrapped items, just to maintain that premium feel and avoid unnecessary contact with heat and packaging. That said, Babel Bay remains one of the few places where you feel every element is carefully thought through—and that’s why it continues to be a favorite.

Abd el Wahab Ashrafieh is a renowned Lebanese restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and excellent service. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Lebanese dishes, including mezze options, fresh salads, and grilled meats. Guests have praised the perfectly cooked food such as hummus with meat and pine, sejok in debes l remman, and the delightful kunafa dessert. The restaurant also features a beautiful terrace for outdoor dining in pleasant weather.
When we came here the vibe was odd, it wasn’t too busy and rather quiet, with football on the screens. The food did not disappoint though - all the dishes were fantastic, especially falafel and boneless chicken - those were phenomenal. Desserts worth skipping, didn’t impress or hit the spot for the end of the meal. Service overall friendly and pretty fast, so that was really nice. Can pay by card.
Alex F — Google review
The place is consistently very good for years now. Located in an old building with high ceilings and a large winter garden area the place is spacious and has an inviting ambiance. Dishes are traditional for the region and tastefully spiced. Quality of meats and vegetables is impeccable. The service is highly attentive and fast. I enjoy going there a lot. So will you. Only small downside is that some people keep smoking inside. While i am usually very sensitive to this, it did not bother me due to the size of the place and the very minor olfactory annoyance.
Marc-André ( — Google review
We organized a staff lunch at Abdel Wahab – Ashrafieh, and honestly everything was near perfect. The food quality, presentation, and service were outstanding. I personally don’t eat garlic or onion, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my request, even preparing kebbeh without onion, something I’ve never experienced in any restaurant in Lebanon before. Truly impressed by the attention to detail and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere sitting upstairs on the balcony! Really enjoyed the place, their Lebanese food and the service! There is also a parking service at the entrance which makes it easy just to park your car! Thank you!!

I frequently order delivery from Abdel Wahab Restaurant, a well-known establishment in the area. Recently, I tried their meal for one, which turned out to be a very generous portion, easily serving two people. The restaurant maintains high cleanliness standards, and I appreciated the food coming in well-presented containers. Speaking of the food, it's not only tasty but also of very good quality. However, one aspect that could be improved is the availability of options with less salt, especially for those with hypertension. This addition would cater to a wider range of dietary needs and preferences. Overall, Abdel Wahab Restaurant delivers on taste, portion size, and presentation, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying dining experience.

Abdel Wahab is a fantastic spot to experience Lebanese food and hospitality. They have a large menu with mezze options, fresh salads, and grilled meats. We particularly enjoyed Fattoush, Hummus, Halloumi and mixed grills. All with a quarter of famous Lebanese Brun Arak. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace that's perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors during good weather. Overall, it was a great experience - highly recommended! Tips: Make a reservation if you're going with a group, especially on weekends.

Enab Restaurant is a charming Lebanese eatery that offers a cozy and traditional ambiance, making diners feel right at home with its welcoming atmosphere and homey furniture. The restaurant also features a special Ramadan menu for guests to enjoy. Nestled in the heart of Beirut, Enab provides a classy setting with beautiful art direction and an outdoor balcony that offers a serene mountain-like atmosphere. While some find the food not the tastiest, others appreciate the hot bread served straight from the oven.
It was my first experience of eating out after arriving in Beirut. It's because I remembered the name of their branch in Oman, and they greeted me with a big smile and when I asked if I could pay with a credit card, they said yes. There is a wide range of Lebanese dishes, as I expected, with a full selection of each category, at reasonable prices, although the quantity of each dish is not large. The service is quite nice and friendly, with a lady and a garcon of the floor staff, asking me where I was from and what my impression of Lebanon was etc... which made me feel warm with their words, given that it was my first day in Lebanon and I was just feeling lonely just after many restaurants refused me without cash. They will remain unforgettable in my memories of Lebanon. They have a small glass lift from the ground floor at the side of the road to the restaurant, which impressed me a lot about the owner's spirit of welcoming anyone. The atmosphere is also quite nice and cosy. Casual on the outside, with gas stoves by the terrace and nice decor inside. Both are attractive, depending on the occasion of the guests. This restaurant once again reminded me of something important, that the factor of the best quality in a restaurant is not always the food alone. The highly recommended restaurant that I love a lot. # Beirut # Lebanon

Enab in Beirut offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with very friendly service and a cozy, inviting ambiance. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a traditional Lebanese meal in a relaxed setting. The overall experience was good, and the pricing is very fair for the quality and location. That said, the warak enab (stuffed vine leaves) was undercooked and could’ve been better prepared. Still, it’s a spot worth visiting for its charm and hospitality, with room for a few improvements on the food side.

I saw this place on social media and honestly I have to say it’s even better live. It’s located in the vibrant city of Mar Micheal and the ambient is super well designed that reflects the Lebanese heritage but with a modern twist. Food menu is super rich with all main Lebanese dishes. I liked the new twist on some plates. Staff are super helpful and friendly.

Overall a good experience. The area is large and the outdoor section is very bright. The food was good but the service left a little to be desired, the server was a little slow and some items ordered did not come while some that were not ordered were delivered, so just be clear and aware when ordering.

Onno Bistro is a Lebanese-Armenian fusion restaurant that offers a rich culinary experience. With generous portion sizes and reasonable prices, this restaurant has become a culinary landmark in Bourj Hammoud.
Great Lebanese Armenian food and wonderful service. Specifically enjoyed the Bulgur Salad (Itch), the ground beef Manti (open dumplings shaped like boats with visible stuffing), kofte yogurt soup (Madzounov), and lahmajun. The chocolate pistachio cake was good too!

Pascale I — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. We visited this Lebanese-Armenian restaurant expecting flavorful dishes, but the food was completely tasteless and lacked any authenticity or seasoning. On top of that, the prices were not justified at all compared to the poor quality we received. What made matters worse was finding a very long hair in the kabab — absolutely unacceptable for any dining establishment. Overall, the visit was unpleasant from start to finish, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal.
Joe H — Google review
⸻ I had a terrible experience at this place. They applied a product on my skin that was supposed to protect against mosquitoes, but it turned out to be a toxic chemical meant to kill them instead. I ended up in the emergency room because of their careless mistake. Even if it wasn’t intentional, no one apologized or showed any sign of regret. What makes it even worse is that the waiter, who handles food, had no right to touch or apply such a toxic substance. Such negligence and lack of responsibility are completely unacceptable.
Fadwa S — Google review
The food is amazing and the staff is really friendly. I really recommend the place! Its a must!

Sorry to say this - but this was an overall bad experience. The food was well below average - especially for its price. The vibe was cute and I plan to try it again. But this first visit was not an experience to recommend.

A small, incredibly busy restaurant on a street with virtually no parking. Reservation is strongly recommended and seating is close quarters with smoking allowed! Yet the place is packed and the food is delicious, be it Armenian or Lebanese. Service is friendly and attentive without being pretentious. Not an easy place to find or get a table in but once all the hurdles are cleared, an enjoyable experience. The dessert selection is first-rate.

Very poor experience with the salad bar at mandaloun café achrafieh branch. The ingredients were not fresh and the variety is so disappointing. The hommos had crust on it with moldy green spot. When brought the waiters attention, he simple “changed” the bowl. Very few protein option; everything feels canned, no flavor no seasoning whatsoever on the ingredients and few items looked fresh. Poor value for money.

They offer the best salad bard ive seen in Lebanon with a lot of choices incl balila..foul..bread..etc... all the dishes i tried were excellent. I visited Bed Lebanese Restaurant in Lebanon and was honestly disappointed. The ambiance was nice, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. The dishes were overpriced for what was served, and the portions were surprisingly small. On top of that, the taste wasn’t memorable or authentic compared to what you’d expect from Lebanese cuisine. Overall, it felt more like a place that focuses on presentation and atmosphere rather than quality and value. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a satisfying Lebanese dining experience.

I can easily say that this is the best food place in Beirut! The place is authentic. With indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly. Busy most of the time but I'm amazed how they keep food quality. Food portions are good, most of plates can be shared, so get different items to share and try. Perched above the iconic Raouché rock, Al Falamanki delivers one of the most breathtaking views in Beirut. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, this Lebanese café restaurant captures the city’s soul, effortlessly blending nostalgia, comfort, and a sense of place that few spots can match. The setting feels both authentic and unpretentious: vintage Lebanese décor, rustic furniture, and greenery that wraps around the terrace, giving the place a warm, lived-in charm. It’s not fancy or sophisticated, but that’s exactly its beauty. Every corner feels curated with heart, a tribute to Beirut’s golden days. The menu stays true to traditional Lebanese favorites, from fresh manakish straight off the saj to creamy labneh, perfectly grilled halloumi, and aromatic foul mdammas. Everything tastes homemade, served with generosity and a smile. The staff are attentive and friendly, moving at a relaxed Beirut pace, enough to make you linger, enjoy the food, and soak in the view. And that view is simply unforgettable. Overlooking the Mediterranean and the legendary Pigeon Rocks, it’s one of the most stunning breakfast backdrops you can find anywhere in the city. Morning hours are especially magical, with soft light, calm air, and the sound of waves below. Al Falamanki Raouché is more than just a restaurant; it’s a Beirut experience. Perfect for a leisurely breakfast, a shisha with friends, or a sunset tea, it’s a place that captures everything that makes this city so irresistibly charming. ⭐ Highly recommended, especially for breakfast with a view you’ll never forget.

The home made chips and crackers with the labne dip are to die for! The bread baguette is equally tasty! I tried the salmon tiradito where i replaced the avocado with artichokes, the sauce tangy and sweet, i loved it! the wild mushroom risotto was not super but we could sense the quality of the ingredients used. The finale was the pain perdu which was ok, but not to dance for, something lacking in the texture. Overall the experience is to be repeated, nice view and enjoyable ambiance.

Indigo was a last minute decision, but it was exactly what we needed at that moment. After a long marathon-like day, we were looking for a place to just relax. Situated at the top of the fancy Le Gray Hotel in Beirut, Indigo provided an outdoor seating area underneath the stars. Dim lights created a cozy and romantic atmosphere, granted they also resulted in the reduced quality of my photographs. The lower part of the view was obstructed by pretty flowers and vines, but the upper part of tall structures managed to make it up to this restaurant perched on the roof. The waiters guided us to our table, and when they were present, the service was great. They were attentive, polite, and very professional. However, at times it was a bit difficult to get a hold of them. My significant other ordered wine from the wine list, but I felt like having a cocktail, which they readily made available from the bar next door. I should add that the Strawberry Mojito was really good and refreshing. The waiter came to us with a bread basket in hand, from which we chose the olive and multi-cereal pieces of bread. They were soft and delicious, especially after they were smeared with the complementary rich butter. We ordered the Crispy Duck Salad and Ahi Poke as appetizers. The crispy duck salad was a pleasant surprise, the crunchy bits of the crispy duck were a perfect addition of texture to the salad. As for the ahi poke, it was very flavorful and the sauce complemented the tuna well. For mains, we ordered the Thai Baked Sea Bass in Banana Leaf and the Black Angus Tenderloin. The sea bass baked in the banana leaf was as moist as it could be; it was extremely tender. Unfortunately, the accompanying rice was forgotten until we reminded the kitchen. However, the waiter was quick to apologize and did end up bringing the rice to our table. Moving on to the steak, it was a good chunk of meat, but nothing outstanding. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we ordered the Valrhona Chocolate Fondant and the Namelaka, which consisted of chocolate mousse, hazelnut biscuit, and passion fruit ice cream. Needless to say that everything becomes better with chocolate, and these were two solid chocolate desserts. The warm chocolate inside the fondant was a great way to end the meal. In general, Indigo has good food, mostly great service, and an intimate setting, with nothing separating you from the sky above.

Loved the experience at Indigo on the roof for brunch. The variety is very big, including fresh sushi, tacos, beef and of course yummy desserts. The atmosphere is very cosy and casual at the same time. Make sure to pass by Cherry on the roof to get an amazing view on Beirut city and enjoy a yummy cocktail.

Untimely and disrespectful During a training spread over a few days, we lunched here as a group. Although not a first for me. 1) slow service - 1h for 2 course meal 2) we always had to wait for each other to be served 3) wrong plates were served on several occasions 4) when mentioned to manager, he got "defensive" by stating that we were late to arrive. I happen to enjoy the flavors of the food and the very respectful waitress but the rest of the staff needs better training on feedback reception and action taking. The F&B Manager duly followed with much courtesy and professionalism my above review and acted as needed with the staff!

Diwan Beirut is a Lebanese restaurant that offers traditional cuisine along with specialty platters like fawaregh and fattet makadem. The place is known for its authentic Lebanese taste and suitable for family gatherings. The food, including cold and hot mezza, mashewe, salad, and desserts, is fresh and delicious. The drinks menu includes arak, whiskey, wine, and soft drinks.
It’s by far the best meat, and chicken shawarma I have had in many years. Meat shawarma: the size, the meat quality, the ingredients proportion to the meat proportion.. it ticks all boxes. Chicken shawarma: it has very tasty chicken and the proper garlic taste, and quality. Chicken Tawook: old times taste of tawook, if you are the 80’s Lebanese generation you would know what I mean😉. Bravo Diwan Beirut 👏 for the best shawarma in town. This is what you expect from a restaurant that you categorize as: عتيق
Rania K — Google review
The restaurant wasn't even crowded and it still took them forever to bring the soup, I couldn't break my fast as they haven't brought the juice. Worst service ever. I am currently at the restaurant and it's a mess. They serving the other tables as if they're family, maybe it's just that we're not Lebanese. Do not care about the food quality if the service is that bad and slow.
HN — Google review
About as Lebanese a restaurant as a restaurant can get. The food, service, atmosphere and overall feel are spot-on without being pretentious, no small accomplishment. The joint is popular and can be very busy so reservation is highly recommended. Grilled meats appear to be Diwan's specialty and the shish kabob is particularly tender and succulent. The free desserts make a fabulous meal even better.

Very good authentic Lebanese cuisine, located right on the intersection of Charles Malek Avenue. The service was super friendly, food was delicious and food was ready very quickly. Outside seating was closed when I went there, and there was a lot of noise inside due to the place being 90% full and no background music to tone down the hectic environment, but was a great experience overall.

Everything in this place has an authentic lebanese taste! We had a lunch with the family on a Sunday , very suitable for such occasions! *The place is quite and Clean. Tables are well covered and distributed. *We ordered cold and hot mezza with mashewe and salad 🥗 . They were fresh, delicious and nicely presented. One of the best mashewe i have ever taste, specially the meat 🥩. The desert was also tasty! 🍉🍍🍎🍏 *As for the drinks, we took arak, whiskey 🥃, wine 🍷 and soft drinks. Let's not forget the staff, they were so helpful and friendly and The service was so fast.

I came to this place as it was recommended by a Lebanese friend of mine. We ordered Kibbeh nayyeh, Hummus with pickles, Shish Tavuk, Kafta, Basbousa, Muhallabia. Everything was incredibly delicous, I especially appreciated that the desserts were not too sweet, which is often the case with desserts at Middle Eastern restaurants. Service was very kind and attentive, actually the best I had in Lebanon during my trip
Franko Z — Google review
Very average food, to be honest probably below average, not compatible with reviews. Labneh with Garlic was good but all the rest was disappointing. Kebbeh was tasteless, shawarma was probably below anything you can find on the street but at a higher price. Do not recommend, worth paying a bit more (or even the same price given Diwan is overpriced) for a better experience, or just eating street food. They had wifi at least.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Sandwich W Noss in Hamra. This charming eatery is dedicated to reviving authentic Lebanese flavors, and their Bombastic Taouk is a standout dish that will tantalize your taste buds. Featuring marinated chicken skewers paired with a zesty bombastic sauce and fresh veggies, it's both delicious and nutritious.
“Fish N’ Chips Platter” The fish pané was crispy and tasty, the fries were great and crunchy, and the sauce was delicious. A great meal

Established in 2015, they offer a unique concept of "1.5 sandwiches". The restaurant aims to recreate the authentic Lebanese taste by offering high quality snacks and original dishes. The shish tawouk sandwich, kofta sandwich and Lebanese burger sandwich are some of the highlights. This place is supposed to serve shawarma, but it's not supposed to be real shawarma. The chicken breast is carefully grilled on a griddle, not over the shawarma roaster. Still, it's not bad, a new kind of modernised shawarma with lots of wet mayonnaise sauce. The price is LBP 45,000, which is fair. The atmosphere is hectic, especially the response to the many deliveries. # Beirut # Lebanon # Shawarma
T. G — Google review
I ordered a delivery from this place through a delivery application. The time of the delivery changed for an unknown reason. When the delivery reached my office, the sandwich and fries were not hot. They were barely room temperature. That's not how a food should be. The sandwich is yummy when it's not cold. That's not acceptable. I won't order a delivery again from this place

Passing by this outlet while being in this area, nice place for takeaway or a quick meal, polite cashier and helpful, we ordered tawouk and burger it takes a bit of time but it was delicious, recommended.

Something about this place makes me go there even with 1 or 2 bad encounters in branches outside Beirut, but the ones in Beirut are great. like real great! once i had my dog with me they gave her a free mini sandwich haha! Now talking about food, chicken with garlic is divine, a bit disappointed with Kafta, yet amazed by the great taste of Taouk.
Imad B — Google review
One of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I called customer service to tell them that the sandwich arrived cold and the crispy part was burned and solid as a rock. He asked the manager and told me he couldn’t do anything. And in the sandwich there was a hair.
Dania H — Google review
Its been out there for a while now, i can say they maintained their tastes by 80% after this economical situation. We ordered 3 sandwiches: kafta, tawouk, and what was tasty is the Fantastic Chicken, the sauce is great and cheese is melted well. Bread and texture of the crunch is just perfect…one thing is that it was the most expensive among all. All in all i enjoyed it the most but others were ok. Tawouk was average and kafta which was there speciality lost its unique taste! Thats sad for sure :( In conclusion, I do recommend this resto and it is a must try.

We regularly order from Deek Duke because we like the food, but it always takes at least 2 hours to arrive. It’s really frustrating, especially when we’re hungry or have guests over. The delay has become a pattern, not a one-time issue. Please work on improving delivery times

I ordered a delivery from this place through a delivery app. The service was fast, and the order came in the expected time. I liked the packaging. The sandwich was good tasting. It was a good experience. Keep up the good work.
Antoun B — Google review
The pasta disappointed and a bit watery sauce. The chicken was dry, lacking flavor, and had an unpleasant texture. The appetizers, including fries, cheese balls, and chicken strips, were equally underwhelming tasteless, and far from appetizing. Overall, a regrettable dining experience. Used to be better than now years ago. They lowered the quality of ingredients
Karim K — Google review
I went today to Deek duke Hamra for dine in. The service and the waiter/waitress were so good and friendly. I ordered The Real Deal appetizer: the french fries quality was too bad and oily; the chicken strips were without the crunchy skin; on the other hand, the cheese balls and the wings were tasty. Additionally, I’ve ordered crispy wrap which was literally a french fries wrap without chicken, I barely had chicken in my wrap. Lastly, the main broasted plate which was crunchy and tasty, but a but oily. I wish they change their french fries quality!

The service is good and the employees are welcoming. The food taste is not up to the standards of a chain restaurant. And is this should be a chicken breast?!!! It is so small !!! Even the fries are not good !

One of the best Lebanese restaurants I've been to. The location is perfect as it's by the boardwalk on the sea and has a both indoor and outdoor area. The food was fantastic, everything we ordered was top notch and they even had quite creative dishes (pistachio labneh - highly recommend). The wait staff are friendly and the service was quite fast. The indoor area is also fantastic if it gets too hot outside. Highly recommend and will be returning for sure.

Café Badaro is a well-lit and fresh dining spot with a cozy yet spacious seating area. The menu offers a rich selection of mainly Lebanese dishes with unique twists created by Chef Joe. The location on the main road in Badaro is convenient, and the interior decoration adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff are professional, friendly, and provide speedy service. While it may appear small at first, there's a surprisingly large backyard for additional seating.
Badaro Café is hands down one of my favorite Lebanese restaurants. I’ve been coming here for years, whether with my parents or friends, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and always on point, while the service is impressively quick. The seating is so comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. I always recommend this spot to everyone—it truly stands out!

Met our friends over at Cafe Badaro. As soon as you enter, you can notice that the place is well lit and gives a fresh dining feeling in the atmosphere. It isn't your traditional Lebanese cuisine; chef Joe has managed to create his twists within this restaurant, and did so well indeed. We ordered some side dishes to try out: - Makanek (4/5) - Minted labne (4/5) - Fatte hommus (3.5/5) - Hendbeh (4/5) - Beetroot paste (3.5/5) - Sfiha: 3 different flavors (3.5/5) Overall it was a very nice experience. Waiters were very attentive and the service was fast. The manager even visited our table to check if everything was okay. Definitely visiting again to try out different menu items.

Location is amazing. The place looks small when enter, but it has a huge backyard. When arrived, staff rush to serve you. Reservation may be needed sometimes. Clam in weekdays and crowded in weekends. Food is simply delicious and tasteful. I really like their delicious, and fresh baked bread. And i recommend to try their meat shawarma (delicious). Not cheap nor expensive compared to quality and servings. Background music and bar are available.

Atmosphere: The set on our table was already so nice from the moment we sat down, and the atmosphere was very welcoming with its vegetation hanging from the ceiling and the soft lighting. Food: we ordered the iftar menu that was very generous. It could have easily served more than two people. The variety of food offered was abundant (soup, fattoush, different types of humus, grills, some other small plates, and dessert). Our favorite plate was the “batata harra” that had a very authentic taste. Service: very fast, friendly and efficient. Pricing: when it comes to comparing to other restaurants that offered similar iftar menus, we felt that it was very fairly priced considering the larger amount of food served. ( half the plates were still unfinished) M&M
M M — Google review
This is the third time I visit this place and I can say they got consistency in what they do. The seating areas are simply decorated and varied with different styles of chairs and tables, their service is very good and fast. When it comes to food, main dishes are delicious with proper ingredients, their desserts options are very limited and definitely need to be reconsidered. They allow playing cards inside which may cause some disturbance for people going to relax. Their shisha is good and prices are relatively fair.

Starting with the location, located in badaro on the main road, to the interior decoration which is very nice, cozy space yet spacious comfortable seating area. Staff starting with the manager and all the waiters are very welcoming professional and friendly. Service speed ia very good and items are very affordable. 🔹Food: Menu is very rich and has many unique items. Mainly Lebanese dishes but some with a nice twist. We ordered the following: -Chanklish with Avocado: very nice combination I loved it. -Freekeh Salad: very fresh and tasty salad. -Khasbet Moushakaleh: A mix of Sfiha with different toppings. Very tasty. -Cheese Rolls with Basterma: it was my favorite very delicious. -Makanek: tasty and delicious. -Rass Asfour: tasty meat tender and fresh. -Fatteh Shawarma: Strange combination yet very tasty. I loved it. -Soujouk with Laban: very tasty and nice combination as well. -Teshkelet kafta w arayis khodra: tasty and delicious. -Battata Hara: very tasty -Vine leaves with yogurt: one of the tastiest vine leaves as it feels like been done at home. Juicy tender and tasty. I also tried the special argheli they have and it was simply amazing. All I can say that this place is highly recommended and I will sure get back soon to it. 👍👍👍👍👍

Kempinski Summerland is a luxurious seaside resort located in Beirut, offering an array of amenities including three restaurants, six bars, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a private beach. The resort's brunch features live entertainment and a wide selection of high-quality dishes made from fresh ingredients. Situated south of Beirut's city center, the hotel is designed around a lagoon-like pool that creates the illusion of a floating city when viewed from certain angles.
We had the most wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel Beirut for our honeymoon, and we could not be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed and treated us with exceptional care. Every interaction was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind – it truly felt like we were in the best hands throughout our stay. One of the absolute highlights was the Cilantro restaurant and food service team. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, and the creativity of the dishes exceeded all expectations. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. As a surprise, we even received special desserts to celebrate our honeymoon – such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere of the hotel is elegant and luxurious, yet very comfortable and welcoming. The facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and every corner of the hotel reflects a high standard of excellence. We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Kempinski Beirut for making this special occasion so memorable. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, world-class dining, and a truly unforgettable stay. We will definitely return in the future!

By far, this is the best hotel resort in Lebanon! The service is impeccable, the ambiance is truly breathtaking, and the overall mood makes the entire experience unforgettable. From the warm welcome at the main gate security to the moment we checked out, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The reception team was outstanding , their hospitality made us feel at home from the very first moment until our departure. We absolutely loved the room’s setup, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Room service was excellent as well. A special thanks to Sarah, Cyrine, Ahmad, and Farah for their exceptional service, they truly made our stay remarkable.

We booked the romance package for 1 night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Big thanks to Mr. Jean-Pierre for helping me customise it to our preferences. We loved every part of it!! The resort itself is beautiful, spotless clean and the design is very artistic (i particularly loved those little human figurines all over the place). The deluxe sea view room is beautiful, wide with well-designed partitions, digital lighting and curtain control. The bathroom is so luxrious though i would prefer more luxurious toiletries. The room has napkins and bins everywhere and i haven't seen this in any hotel so far - love it! The view from the balcony is serene though the sea view is very partial but well that's how the hotel is built. The spa is top-notch, so is the massage and staff there, already reviewed the spa on their account. We had 80 minutes heavenly massage. The in-room dinner experience was amazing, super delicious, generous and elegant. They also offered fruits and heart-shaped cake as a birthday gift. Hassan from room service is a true star with aimable attitude and sincerely cares about making the guests' experience positive - he rejected tips twice, but my husband insisted more lol. Breakfast was good as well, some items were better than others, but overall it was a nice experience with super helpful smiling staff. From the valet to management, the staff and service are flawless. True luxury and Lebanese hospitality 😍

From the moment I arrived, the Kempinski redefined what true five-star hospitality feels like thanks to the beautiful Sarah at the reception. Every detail, from the warm welcome at the door to the seamless check-in, spoke of professionalism and genuine care. The room was immaculate — elegantly designed with luxurious touches, breathtaking views, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Housekeeping maintained everything to perfection, and the turn-down service was a thoughtful touch that made each evening feel special. Breakfast was a highlight of the day: an incredible spread with both local and international selections, fresh ingredients, and attentive staff who remembered my preferences after just one visit. Dining at the hotel’s restaurants was equally outstanding, with dishes that were as beautiful as they were delicious. What truly sets the Kempinski apart is its service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond — anticipating needs before I even voiced them, offering helpful local tips, and always greeting me with a smile. It’s clear that hospitality here isn’t just a job; it’s a passion. The facilities were world-class: a pristine pool, a serene spa, and common areas that felt both grand and inviting. Location-wise, it’s perfectly placed for both leisure and exploring the city, yet offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. My stay was flawless from start to finish. If you’re looking for a hotel where luxury meets heart, the Kempinski is where you’ll find it. I can’t wait to return

Very nice guest house in Hamra..in a very central location parallel to the main Hamra road. It has 4 rooms only with a small backyard managed by "tawlet" so this is basically a guest house and a restaurant offering a nice lebanese experience. Decoration is amazing as seen by the pics I am attaching. Prices range from 120 usd to 150 usd per room and it has 4 rooms in total.

Nice traditional dishes that are made available every day from different parts across Lebanon. Every day has a different menu with specialty dishes from all villages prepared by typical Lebanese housewives.

We just had the best and delicious breakfast, waitress were very friendly and service was good! Unfortunately the manager or the place seems to be bother by our kids playing with the roks of the floor and couldn’t wait for us to leave to arrange them, though there were no other table in the restaurant and they were not bothering anybody while playing and we were about to leave...

Loved the place and the decor, very homey! The food was ok, i was expecting a similar formula than Tawlet Mar Mikhael, but it is a la carte, and the tastes were not wow. Need to try it again...

Gefinor Rotana is a polished lodging located in the vibrant Hamra area of Beirut. The hotel offers casual rooms, studios, and suites, making it an ideal choice for leisure, business, or medical tourism. Its central location provides easy access to city attractions and the corniche. Guests can enjoy stylish accommodations with views of the city, a rooftop bar with panoramic Mediterranean Sea views, and a rooftop pool.
We had a wonderful stay at Gefinor Rotana! We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room that offered a beautiful sea view. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The chef and all the staff at the Olive Garden restaurant, were absolutely exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made the experience truly memorable. The staff made the experience feel warm and personable, and we truly felt well cared for. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to Beirut!

What a fabulous hotel! I stayed at the Gefinor Rotana for the first time, and it did not disappoint. We stayed in a King Room, with a balcony that had a breathtaking view of the sea and mountains. The room was spot on, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The booking included breakfast, which we enjoyed very much. They've had a large selection of fresh and scrumptious Lebanese and international options. The staff were very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is ideally located close to Hamra Street, AUB, and Downtown Beirut. I'd like to give a special thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Samer, and to the kind and super helpful receptionists, Karim, Jana, and Mohammad. I would also like to give a shoutout to the staff at the restaurant during breakfast time. I would definitely stay in this hotel the next time I visit Beirut.

I had an amazing stay at Gefinor Rotana. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making me feel right at home. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest. Every detail, from the cleanliness to the amenities, was top-notch. A special mention to Mamoun and Karim, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made my experience even better. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be returning!

I had a wonderful stay at Gefinor Rotana Hotel! The location is perfect — right in the heart of Beirut, close to Hamra, the Corniche, and downtown. The staff were exceptionally friendly especially Mazen , professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are spacious, and clean
Rasha K — Google review
We had a very good experience at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel. The food was extremely delicious — both breakfast and lunch were outstanding. Everything was clean, well-cooked, and full of flavor. The room was cozy and comfortable. However, since we were two people sharing a room, the amenities provided (like toiletries and towels) were not sufficient for more than one person. That’s something the hotel could improve. The service was great — staff were quick to respond to room service requests and were always respectful and polite. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Mr. Brown is a beloved dining spot in Beirut, with locations in Adonis, Ashrafieh, Byblos, and Hamra. Known for its delightful Ramadan Essentials Iftar menu, this restaurant offers both dine-in and delivery options that cater to families and friends alike. The inviting interior creates a warm atmosphere where patrons can enjoy delicious burgers paired with crispy fries at reasonable prices. Although it tends to get busy, finding a table doesn't take long. Having been a fan of Mr.
Big fan of this restaurant since more than 15 years. Glad to see that the small snack in Adonis became a large restaurant chain while maintaining the same taste. Food is tasty and staff friendly. Recommended!
Sylvio H — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants in Beirut. Good prices, delicious food and great customer service. I usually order online, but this time I decided to pass by and dine in, as it was close to a friend's house. The place is spotless clean and the staff is super friendly. The only thing I can comment about would be the Toum!!! Make it stronger :P
Richard M — Google review
I have a been a customer at Mr Brown for the past 10 years. Food quality has declined significantly, this is the third time I eat in this month, and food is really horrible. We ordered 2 salads, the lettuce is so unfresh that it bends, chicken is so dry it's almost uneatable. I am genuinely shocked. Last time I ordered a chicken platter as well, chicken was super dry, and the baked potato was indigestible - it seemed like they cooked it in the morning and reheated it. I talked to the manager and he didn't even care - he kept arguing that it's fresh... Long story short: big disappointment. Won't ever eat here again.

Mr. Brown is a great restaurant to grab a bite with friends and family. You can choose to dine in or have your meal delivered. The interior is lovely. It is often crowded, but it won't take long to find a table. Their burgers are delicious & their fries are crisp. The portions are average & prices are equal to or lower than that of similar restaurants.

This place offers a great experience, a nice atmosphere, a decent service and good quality food. In terms of value for money, you pay very little and you get a product comparable to the best diners in town. In terms of food taste, it is good but not exceptional.

I ordered a chicken sub sandwich through zomato application. The delivery took time . It came in a soft bun , generously filled with grilled chicken pieces and light garlic mayonnaise sauce . Next time will take it in a baguette bread for a more fulfilling meal. It was tasty though ... fair prices for the quality offered

Café Em Nazih offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere that makes visitors feel at home while being surrounded by people from all over the world. The restaurant serves traditional Lebanese dishes at reasonable prices, creating a meeting point where European influences blend with Middle Eastern cuisine. With a diverse breakfast menu and a self-service concept, it aims to make dining accessible to everyone, breaking down social barriers in Lebanon.
Very interesting experience, very good food in a nice atmosphere mixing the traditional to the modern. The concept with no waiters makes the restaurant available to as many as possible by rendering prices more democratic. This brings a social purpose to the idea of eating in a great restaurant and opens the place to people from all horizons and all classes. One of the very rare places in Lebanon where social barriers are much less visible. Bravo!

If u like to chill and relaxing atmosphere then this is a good place. If u like to have good food, there are more other options for you. The hotel provides top-notch services and facilities, including a posh restaurant, stylish bars, spa, beach lounge, and meeting rooms for various events.
The location of the hotel is really great. The rooms were clean and good smelling. The staff are really nice and helpful! The valet workers are also very helpful and nice with kids! I think it’s a good value for money! Also even though we took the sea view room we didn’t actually hear anything from outside which is a plus! I would totally come back again with my family!

The Smallville Hotel is a cutting-edge establishment situated in the vibrant residential area of Badaro, Beirut. Guests can indulge in various amenities such as a spa, gym, design shop, hair salon, concierge service, pool with sweeping city views and VIP perks. The hotel also features seven restaurants offering diverse culinary experiences.
I've stayed at this hotel during my business trip in Beirut last 21st September and I can understand why this is the one they recommended for me. The location has a lot of cafes so walking on my free time was so nice. The staff are helpful and friendly (a very SUPER welcome indeed). They are clear with their rules and considerate at the same time. The Breakfast was also amazing, they have a good selection of food. And being there for 5 days, I did not get tired of their breakfast selections. There are 2 places that I have not checked at this hotel, the pool and rooftop bar which I was told was amazing. I do hope to check it if I ever get the opportunity to come back. Thank you The Smallville Hotel for making my stay in Lebanon amazing and superb!
Charles — Google review
The pool area at this hotel is undeniably beautiful — the aesthetic is on point, with a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for a day of lounging. Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the service. The reception staff were surprisingly rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the start. Additionally, the staff at the pool bar seemed unfamiliar with the drinks they were serving and couldn't answer basic questions about the menu. It's a shame, because the ambiance really had potential. With better-trained and more professional staff, this could easily be a five-star spot.
Sana N — Google review
This hotel has a fun, unique vibe with its superhero theme. Rooms are clean, and the staff especially Maya and Ala’ at the front desk were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with bookings. The pool is also clean and has a nice atmosphere. The only downside: charging $10 a night for parking even for guests, which doesn’t really make sense.
Raneem M — Google review
Such an amazing hotel! Smallville is truly one of the best in town. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. One highlight for me was the food — I tried their burger, and it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Highly recommend staying here!
Laith A — Google review
It’s o-k — but I found it very strange that you’re not allowed to bring any food from outside into the hotel to your room (thus forcing you to order room service, felt a bit like a cinema forcing you to buy from the lobby). They also charge for the nespresso capsules — I saw it said “$3” and assumed that meant for extra! Never in my life have I stayed in a supposedly 5* hotel where they charge for Nespresso in your room! Staff are friendly. These comments are for management who need to bring their policies in line with other 5* hotels if they want to keep charging at this level. Rooms are big (provided you get a deluxe)

The music and overall experience is nice!

I had a business Iftar yesterday, the food was tasty and generous i loved the mezze especially the hommos and mtabbal. The grills were also so good, meat was so tender. The staff was always around to help us and make our eve enjoyable. All this was rythmed with Fayrouz music in the background. The place is located in Biel, the area is like nowhere in Beirut, it lacks identity, it is not charming. It is adequate for corporate gathering but not for other outing occasions.

So we've tried this place on our vacation to Lebanon. Being situated at zaytouna bay gives it a very nice view. Pizza Takeout
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza. This popular delivery and carryout chain boasts an extensive menu filled with a variety of pizzas alongside an array of other tempting dishes and sides. After a long day, there's nothing quite like indulging in one of their delicious pizzas to satisfy your cravings. The atmosphere is inviting and clean, making it a great spot to enjoy your meal.
Super awsome place. Very clean. Pizza always fresh. Staff there are super friendly. Highly recommended
Houssam K — Google review
The pizza tasted great, especially the pepperoni and chicken toppings, but the service was disappointing. They didn’t provide any plates and served the food in takeaway boxes, even for dine-in. This really affected the overall experience. Domino’s needs to improve their dine-in service to match the quality of their food.
Kareeem — Google review
I had a terrible experience at the Domino’s Pizza Bliss branch in Lebanon. When we first arrived, the store was completely empty, no staff in sight. We waited for around 10 minutes before someone had to call the staff from outside to come assist us. When they finally showed up, they were extremely rude and unwelcoming. We ordered and asked to dine in, but the place was absolutely filthy. Every table was dirty, with food stains and crumbs, tissues on the floor, a bottle cap lying around, and dust all over the sofa seating. I asked for wet napkins to clean the table myself, and they said they didn’t have any. We ordered garlic bread, which usually comes with sauce, but it arrived dry. When we asked for the sauce, they simply said they were out of all sauces — which is honestly ridiculous. I also ordered a soft drink, and it was served warm. I asked for ice, and again, they said they didn’t have any.To top it all off, even though we were dining in, the food was served in takeaway cartons, no plates, no effort whatsoever. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. Poor service, unhygienic environment, and lack of basic items like sauces and ice, definitely not what you expect from an international food chain. Avoid this branch if you can.
Kholoud T — Google review
Average pizza; it’s not that pizza that you’d like to come and have every single day or you crave every once in a while. The staff there are like dead people literally. They’re doing their job as if they’re forced to. When we asked for Wifi they gave us WiFi from the probing shop next to them. I don’t think a Dominos Pizza shop should be like that.
Kareem K — Google review
Its pretty average in terms of taste and quality since the dough seems processed and frozen . Its ideal for big gathering and u can benefit from their offers . Pizza vegetarian , margarita, cheese and pepperoni was our order . It gets affordable for big order .
Melted B — Google review
Dominos Pizza: A Comedy of Errors (Except It's Not Funny When You're Hungry) I'm not sure what's more amateur hour, Dominos' inability to fulfill an order or their prehistoric payment system. I placed an order online, waited patiently, and then...nothing. No pizza, no delivery driver, no explanation. After an hour, I called to find out what happened to my dinner, only to be told my order was canceled. Why? Apparently, they couldn't process my online payment. Fair enough, things happen. But here's the kicker: they didn't bother to call or email me to let me know. And get this, when I tried to offer alternative payment solutions (because it's 2024 and who carries a wad of cash anymore?), they flat-out refused. No card payment over the phone, no online retry, nothing. It was like talking to a brick wall with a "cash only" sign taped to it. So, thanks to Dominos, I ended up with a growling stomach, a wasted evening, and a newfound appreciation for restaurants that actually understand customer service and modern technology. If you're looking for a reliable pizza place that accepts something other than cash, avoid Dominos like the plague. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Verdun, Samra Cafe is a delightful blend of traditional Lebanese charm and contemporary pop art aesthetics. This cozy spot is perfect for unwinding after iftar, offering a welcoming atmosphere complemented by friendly staff. Guests rave about the delicious menu featuring favorites like escalope platters, mashewe, and tabliyet shawarma, alongside tasty meza options and indulgent Oreo milkshakes.
Owners are very nice! And they welcomed us as well! I was there for a birthday party! The food is very yummy! Cozy and chill place! It’s an Arabic style as decoration and very colorful!

It's a nice restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. I usually order the escalope platter, mashewe, or tabliyet shawarma, spicy potatoes (generally the meza is good overall), and oreo milkshake - always satisfied by the end of my meals.

Mosaic Restaurant is a luxurious dining spot in Beirut, offering a blend of Lebanese and international cuisine. The restaurant's elegant interiors create a sublime atmosphere for guests to enjoy their carefully crafted dishes. Their buffet table boasts an array of options, including home-smoked salmon, freshly baked goodies, and live cooking stations. With a fusion menu prepared by skilled chefs using fresh seasonal ingredients, Mosaic stands out among Beirut's dining experiences.
Stayed at the hotel for a couple of days to attend a corporate event. Food quality at Mosaic restaurant was superb and Naji and his team were extremely hospitable.
Mostafa F — Google review
It really deserves more than 5 stars! The service is extremely professional, you would be really feeling as a VIP! The staff are really helpful and friendly. The manager did visit our table and when we were about to leave he also came to thank us! The food was exquisite, not a single bad thing to mention! Many choices, all in a very good setting and so fresh, especially the sushi and salmon sashimi, the yummiest! As for the desserts, the choice is endless, i love the mix between lebanese oriental and international tastes. All in all, the price is really good for the international buffet, the rip off comes with the drinks as they are extremely expensive. I would recommend Mosaic for sure!!!
Jessica M — Google review
I took my mom for an early birthday celebration and the experience was magical. We finally got the chance to try their breakfast buffet. The options were varied, and the food was delicious. Both mom and I enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The service was top notch! Mr. Naji, the manager, made us feel very welcomed, remembering our names, and answering our questions. The whole staff was professional, attentive without hovering over us. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

The majestic Phoenicia Intercontinental Beirut does not need any advertising. Since 1961, it has been a Leader on the regional level, a home out of home with a sprinkle of luxury and more than the rated 5 stars service. It has also marked itself on the dining scene in Lebanon with its different dining outlets. It was time to try Mosaic famous Saturday's themed eve "3al lebneni"! The famous Chef Hicham Farhat will amaze you with a Buffet of Lebanese food like you have never tasted it before. First, we were welcomed and escorted to our table beautifully set. Expect to find different age ranges, from families, to young and old couples; there was even a wedding on the other side of the restaurant! On the facing stage, a band playing and a singer with her smooth voice singing oldies making an enjoyable ambiance. A belly dancer showed up later too! Now from where to start to talk about the feast we were offered? Chef Hicham was very keen to make the experience unforgettable. Starting with  a live demonsatrtion of the tastiest frake jnoubie! Chef in Action First things first: salad bar so appealing with all fresh seasonal ingredients, other mixed salads such as Fattoush and Tabbouli and another selection of seafood ones. There is a fatte and foul station to cater your taste. The mezze, every kind you can imagine and more new items such as carrot and beetroot mtabbal:) And oh the zahlawee mtabbal my first (what a shame for a Bekaee lady:P). And the basterma millefeuille such an innovative recipe. We tried the different kibbe made by the chef: meat, chicken and fish (last one my favorite with caramelized onions), and the tajine so light and perfectly cooked. The feast has to be ended with the sweetest note: a spread of oriental and wetsern desserts to cater every taste. So overall, besides gaining at elast 2 kgs after this eve:P, an amzing experience to be repeated! Bonus was the fortune teller who promised good events on the way, let's wait and see!

This has to be one of my favourite hotel breakfasts in the Middle East. The selection of food is varied and high quality. What really makes it stand out is the friendly and welcoming service from the manager, Mr Naja Aoun, down to the chefs, waitresses, and everyone else. Thank you for helping me start my day with a delicious breakfast and a friendly smile!

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Mosaic Restaurant in the Phoenicia Hotel, and it was a truly memorable experience. The service was impeccabl and professional throughout the evening. The food was exceptional, offering a wide array of dishes that catered to every palate. It stands out as one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had in Lebanon. While it is on the pricier side, the quality, ambiance, and overall experience make it well worth the investment. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a refined and festive culinary outing.
Philip T — Google review
Not a good experience! We went on Easter Sunday, the tables were too close to each other and a table of 8 was given for 10 people. Basically we couldn't move our chairs to go to buffet. The service was terrible, we had to ask several times to get something. As for the buffet, the taste was ok but food platters were not being replaced, for example the paella had no fish, sushi was very limited, we had to wait like 20 min to get soya… no fruits… It is nothing compared to what it was in the old days.
Tamar K — Google review
Went there for the salmon and shrimp buffet and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The variety is huge, the freshness is outstanding, and the taste is amazing. The creativity with the food was insane — you can even find salmon tacos or salmon shawarma. The dessert selection was also big and so delicious. Highly recommended!

Brass is an elegant and cozy bistro located in the heart of Ashrafieh. The restaurant offers a successful setting with its architecture, natural lighting, and design. It provides a pre-set lunch menu for a reasonable price that includes a salad, main course, and soft drink. The seafood dishes are particularly satisfying. The ambiance is tranquil, especially after 9 pm when the lights are dimmed for a more relaxed dinner experience.
Visited Brass on Mother’s Day (my neighbor and I have a tradition of inviting both our moms out to dinner) I did not regret our choice ! The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful The atmosphere (with dimmer light) was romantic, the place was pretty calm and, being a musician, I loved the music they were playing in the background ! We ordered : - Raspberry Lava - La Poutine - Grilled Salmon & Apple Crunch Salad - Shrimp Yellow Curry - Duck Confit A L’Orange - Pain Perdu The Raspberry Lava is genius, the poor thing had no chance of survival, we attacked as soon as it was as it was served ... Yum! I particularly appreciated that the potato of La Poutine was in fact grilled and not fried; so good! I fell in love with the Salad: The dressing mixed with the apple slices was to die for! Not to mention how well cooked and delicious the salmon was ! The duck a l’orange and the shrimp were delicious, I had a taste of each as we were sharing all the plates Last but not least, the dessert of desserts: Le Pain Perdu, the best ending to a wonderful meal; it was fluffy, not too sweet, warm and very satisfying Needless to say our moms were very happy As for me, my next time visiting, I think I’ll probably order the whole appetizers section to have a taste of everything 😍

It is a great place. We just had a business lunch, We were around 10 people at the restaurant. We felt so confortable, this is because of such successful settings in terms of architechture, natural lighting, design and other. They have pre-set lunch menu for 12 or 14 usd that includes a salad, a main course and a soft drink. I picked the 14usd that gives you access to sea food dishes. We were all so satisfied by the entire experience. The guy who was serving us was so helpful. In terms of quality price, i give them excellent. I had a salmon dish with a delicious salad for 14 usd; it is cheaper than a burger in any restaurant. Bravo for the concept. Surely recommended

Overall very nice experience. We went there for dinner, the restaurant was pretty calm, the services was great, and the prices were really fair compared to similar bistros. As for the food, i had a few favourites ( frike salad is definitely it); however, i wasn’t a big fan of the salmon (too small, overcooked) the steak was okay. I would probably pick more unique dishes next time i visit, but i still enjoyed my time and had a really nice dinner.
Melissa A — Google review
We went to Brass for a brief escape from the responsibility of parenthood. Luckily, we found a parking space right at the base of the staircase leading to the restaurant. There is an exterior seating area, which is lovely, but we opted for the cooler inside. The interior makes you still feel you are outside. There is a majestic tree sprouting from the center of a table, with its branches reaching up towards the sun’s rays coming in through the skylight. However, stealing your attention away from all of this stands an impressively long bar that runs the length of the room. It made me imagine how this place would be transformed during the evenings and nights, when the moon and stars shone through from above. I liked the whole environment that was created indoors, and after sitting at our table, I was ready to eat. Some restaurants really outdo themselves in the appetizers section; Brass is one of them. The appetizers we ordered were delicious; we had the La Poutine, Beef Carpaccio, and Raspberry Lava. The La Poutine was so comforting with the melted cheese and warm gravy. Yet, it was the Raspberry Lava that stole the show—from all of the savory platters, not just the appetizers. The berry sauce smothering the oven baked Brie cheese seemed very fresh and authentic, and the combination of flavors of the sauce and cheese was marvelous. It felt like intense bursts of goodness exploding inside your mouth. We chose the Asian Grilled Salmon, Roasted Beef Fillet with Red Wine Sauce, and Steak Frites as our main dishes; they were all good but not as noteworthy as the preceding platters. The Roasted Beef Fillet was succulent and the Steak was tender, although the meat of the latter was cooked more than the cuisson I had asked for. I should have informed the waiter, but due to the service being slow, I refrained from doing so. Instead, I spent the time waiting for the Pain Perdu to arrive, and that was time well spent. This dessert was worth it; I guess good things do happen to those who wait. The “lost bread” found its way into my mouth, where it felt right at home. The bread was saturated with the deliciousness it had been soaked in, it was just how I like it–I really detest a dry Pain Perdu. Add the vanilla ice cream to that, and you have a symphony playing on your tongue. I was glad that the first sweet option I had previously decided on, the Chocolate Fondant, had been unavailable when I was there, although I should admit I am still curious as to how it would have tasted.

An elegant cozy bistro in the heart of Ashrafieh Located on the GF road level of a well preserved building dating back from the independence era, Brass presents itself as a solid Fusion - Bistro with a classic/chic decoration and furniture. The ambiance at Brass is relatively tranquil. Lights are dimmed after 9 pm for a more relaxed dinner. In fact, dimming lights is a wonderful choice taken by Brass because it provides more privacy to each table and a nice soothing and agreeable dining experience. The place provides seating for some 60 people. On a weekday night, like in our case, the place had around 20 clients that were all served in the most professional service standards by discrete and courteous waiters. Now comes the food: The menu is not a large one making it very easy to choose from. It is mainly built around french / greek/ english / north European specialties. We had four (4) “appetizers” one (1) salad, three (3) main dishes and one (1) desert: For appetizers we had: • Brie and Mushroom fricassee (full of appetizing flavors of mushroom with very nice sourdough, a tasty French baguette cut in slices) • “Une Poutine” (Although incomparable to the real poutine du Québec with its curd squeaky cheese and “sauce poutine”, , BRASS’s poutine is genuine, melty and super YummY with its gravy and compté cheese) • English Roast beef (a prime cut of sliced meat lying on a thick and crunchy “pain paysan”. The bread was hindering a little the palatable taste of meat) • Crispy Feta (Rocca and honey-mustard sauce – a very classical one) Our salad was: • Brass Salad (all toppings of a Greek Souvlaki Sandwich in a plate, a very tasty one that sends you for a 20 seconds two-way ticket to Greece) For main dishes we had: • Grilled Chicken Rosemary (an all aromatic perfectly cooked chicken breast lying on a succulent bed of mashed potatoes) • Asian Grilled Salmon (With very interesting vegetables steaming and cooking – however kale topping was not much appreciated) • Duck Confit with Orange (Confit de Canard, very well mastered, with a mouthwatering sauce and sesame on top) As for dessert we had pain perdu with vanilla ice cream, all accompanied by a heavenly tasted Citrus Chantilly. In sum, with the excellent taste of food, calm setting, and affordable prices, BRASS is a RECOMMENDED first choice experience for all occasions, from friends’ gatherings to cozy dinners.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Spiced and Sliced. Nestled in Hamra Street, this charming kiosk offers an inviting atmosphere with friendly staff that make you feel right at home. Their Iftar menu is a treat, featuring options like shawarma sandwiches paired with hommos platters, fresh salads, crispy fries, and refreshing soft drinks—all at wallet-friendly prices. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food.
I was invited by Spiced and Sliced to try out the place, and I was impressed. The Kiosk is nice and simple. The staff was very polite and friendly. As for the food it was delicious, one of the best shawarma places in town. We tried the meat guacamole salad and the fries, both were really good, the salad was original first time I tried something like that and I was impressed. As for the sandwiches. we had the original meat shawarma, the La Baguette, the quesadilla chicken, and the French sujuk . Their choice of different breads was unique, the use of French bread and quesadillas gave the sandwiches a unique taste which was tasteful. The quality of the products and the taste of the meat, chicken, and sujuk is impressive, my personal favorite was the chicken wrapped in quesadillas bread. You definitely need to pass by or order some food from this place you won’t regret it.

Went there with my family to have lunch, I ordered tawouk camouflage and fries. The sandwich was alright, it wasn't bad but it wasn't special. Bread was soft which is very nice, and sauce was good, only complaint might be the tawouk, but it wasn't too bad so overall not a bad experience. Fries were decent, same as the sandwich, with a hint of salt. Overall not a bad experience but I wouldn't do it again.

Shame on you thieves. I dont care if the dollar is 100,000. You call this a regular size sandwich? I was hungry for God's sake and your service is so slow i could not wait again to order another sandwich. A regular sadwich is the size of Arabian bread. There is no loaf I have seen this size. And it barely any chicken. Do you think that this plus fries and pepsi costs 250,000? Not having a foot herr ever again.

Bassel Z — Google review
To all seeking healthy food in Beirut, I must warn you from trusting Carla's good food products. While she pretends to be a center providing healthy food, this is not true at all. I am diabetic and I used to buy the "Sugar Free" cookies and cakes for a while, however when I measured my blood sugar level after each time I consumed 4 cookies or a piece of cake, I noticed elevated levels. When I read the ingredients list on the cookie box, I was shocked to find out "sugar" was written among them despite being assured otherwise by the responsible staff at Carla's GF shop when asked. After finding out what was included in the ingredients, I called them and asked for the reasoning of this false pretense to which they replied insistently and I quote "We write sugar but we use sorbitol". I consider this not an innocent lie but a criminal offense since for a diabetic person, elevations in blood sugar levels can be fatal. On top of that, she doesn’t use adequate materials and ingredients while preparing the products, which leaves a bad and rancid taste, with the cook’s argument of making healthy and light food. Meanwhile the truth lies with their unwillingness to spend enough money for the quality of such food while the buyers end up paying the price expensively.
