Park
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is a sprawling park showcasing grand Hindu sculptures and hosting regular dance performances and concerts. The park's centerpiece is the colossal Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, depicting the deity Vishnu mounted on the mighty Garuda. This awe-inspiring monument stands at 75m tall, with an impressive 64m wingspan, making it visible from several kilometers along the coastline.
superb place. you can easily spend 3-4 hours here. i recommend the tour for the museum and the view from top. the guides are super friendly and knowledgeable. if you have a baby/ stroller take the buggy as the walk up can be challenging in hot weather and rain.
Anup K — Google review
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is visually stunning. The statue is massive and awe inspiring, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the cultural performances add a sense of meaning and history to the visit. Seeing the monument up close is worth it for the scale alone. That said, it definitely leans into being a tourist trap. There are upsells at almost every turn, from photo spots to paid shuttle upgrades, and plenty of shops selling overpriced merchandise. You can still enjoy the park, just be prepared for the commercial side of the experience. Overall, the views and the statue are unforgettable, but go in knowing you are paying for both the cultural moment and the tourist machine wrapped around it
Daniel P — Google review
Was a nice place to visit. Recommend to visit after noon if it's very sunny and hot. Entrance tickets were 150k pp (not 100k as advertised), 350k if u want to take the elevator going up in the garuda statue which we didn't. 40k pp if u want to take shuttle car from entrance to garuda statue and back to where other statues are. There's a performance at 12-1 pm i think. Overall it's a very nice place to take photos, there are many souvenir shops before the entrance, and also money exchanger, atm (we used our European debit card and we had a very good rate, 1m IDK for 52 eur). Spending 2-3 hours here is enough.
Muhannad H — Google review
The legendary Bali landmark ! The humongous statues of Lord Vishnu and Garuda must not be missed. The park is not that big but the unbearable sun makes it difficult to walk around. We visited in mid October but even then the temperature was enough to roast you. Umbrellas, hats and sunscreen are a must. Tickets can be booked online. However they have a paid buggy service to take the visitors to the main statue. IDR 40000 per head. This could have been made complimentary. The buggy does not ply both ways. It drops the visitors mid way while returning to explore the other statues. The park is well maintained and most of the eastern and western part of the island is visible from the top. The frequent landing and take offs of aircrafts at the airport is very enjoyable to be seen from there. There is a nice restaurant where visitors can claim their complimentary drink (if included in the entrance ticket). The park can be reached easily through Grab or Gojek cabs.
Birat B — Google review
We visited GWK Uluwatu and I’d recommend buying your tickets online — it’s much easier. There’s also a machine on-site where you can get your tickets. Before the security check, you can borrow an umbrella at the info desk (they keep your ID as a deposit). I’d highly recommend taking one because you’ll be walking in the sun almost the entire time! ☀️ The park itself is nicely designed but nothing too special in my opinion. We only spent about an hour there and didn’t go up the big statue with the elevator.
Milena — Google review
First time going to GWK in the late afternoon and I think its the best time. Not too hot, so can enjoy walking around. Many things to do and experienced, including going up to 23rd floor of the statue where there's a guided museum and take iconic photo inside. Recomded!
Sukma B — Google review
This place is awesome! We saw the statue from afar and made a point to visit. The park is a nice stroll through a series of incredible status of lakshmi, Vishnu and Garuda. I highly suggest that you come after 10 given that they have a series of shows like cultural dances, theatre performances storytelling and more … all shows happen throughout the day. We got there at 6 pm and caught the very last show which depicted the story of Garuda. Highly recommended!
Lis C — Google review
If you enjoy cultural attractions, GWK is definitely worth a visit. We booked our tickets online in advance, which made the entry process smooth and hassle-free. Since we went on a Monday, the area wasn’t crowded and we could explore comfortably. Be prepared to walk! The grounds are quite spacious. If you prefer not to, you can easily rent a buggy to take you around. Otherwise, think of it as a great opportunity to hit your step count while taking in the views!

Park
Cliff Jump Tegal Wangi Beach, located in Bali, is a hidden gem offering stunning seascapes and natural elements. The beach is named after the sanctuary perched on a limestone cliff overlooking the coast. Accessible via a paved road near Ayana Resort and Spa in Jimbaran, it provides breathtaking views of kelp-covered rocky formations during low tides and vibrant sunsets.
Beautiful cliff. Good for fishing but you have to be carefull cause its so dangerous and windy. Very good if you go there looking for sunset.
Pasek W — Google review
What a beautiful hidden gem. Don't follow the maps until the end of the road, after the entrance of Locca Sea House not far from there, there are many motorbikes parked on the side of the road, you can park there and walk towards the bushes 400 meters from the parking lot you will arrive at the beautiful cliff
Vony D — Google review
I came following the map and got lost. There’s a temple on a way and the map was showing that I needed to go through. I was met by a temple caretaker and brought inside, shown beautiful views. But then what was following is a weird experience - the guy offered to enter the temple itself , forced me to take the water bottle from him, did a blessing for me to enter the temple - but all in a very pervert manner - being close, touchy. Don’t know if it’s how it’s supposed to be, but at the end he hugged me and started to do some prayers, ending up very close to my face. And then started to ask for money . I run away from there! Girls , don’t come alone to this place
Katrin P — Google review
Chill place to watch sunset, be aware path to the cliff could be rocky and shoes is recommended at least sandals. It’s most visited by locals so it’s a different vibe which it was great for me -a tourist
Josh — Google review
beautiful spot for sunset or even just to chill. no shades though, you get direct hit from the sun in the afternoon. unfortunately trash and cigarette butts are all over. free entry and parking. very crowded during sunset.
Josaurus R — Google review
A hidden beach in Jimbaran. It is perfect to watch the sunset. After sunset, many people have a barbeque and picnic on the cliff. The effect is best when it is close to sunset in the afternoon. Small tips : Be careful when you go up and down the cliff, so pay attention to safety. The atmosphere is great. Highly recommended!!
Agung P — Google review
A little hidden gem! Very cool cliff and caves around. Would’ve been perfect for coast steering. Suggest to check out the tide table and come at low tide (we were here during mid-high tide and we don’t get the beach)
Yaoshu L — Google review
Went there couple times with friends. It was pretty and clean in the beginning. Until one day, more people visiting the beach and they were littering with snack plastics, bottles, and even food packs of people who did BBQ even though the locals put a sign of "NO BBQ", visitors still being ignorance and act like a dumb. Learn how to respect! P.S: Do not swim when it's raining or having high waves. It is a deadly one and many victims dead because of it. Read the news!

Garuda Wisnu Kencana, also known as GWK, is a sprawling cultural park located in Ungasan, just a short drive from Jimbaran. Encompassing 250 hectares of open space, this impressive and beautiful park offers visitors a glimpse into Indonesian culture and artistry.
Beautiful experience. I just recommend to go Beranda resto first. It's Indonesian buffet. You pay 230k and the entrance ticket is included. Exclude statue tour.
Rostislav F — Google review

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. We initially planned on skipping this and just admiring it from afar but glad we pushed through. Went for the basic ticket entrance and just took a buggy ticket. So worth it! The huge statue was mesmerizing in itself. I think that alone is woeth the entrance tickey. There are also lots of beautiful areas to admire as you walk through the entire park. If you are a nature lover, go for it!

Honestly not worth the view up close. We were all disappointed when you stand underneath it, and to also find out it’s only been built a few years ago for tourists! It has an unauthentic feel.

Indonesian restaurant
Kayumanis Resto Jimbaran is a popular dining spot in Bali that offers delicious food and a great atmosphere. Many visitors have enjoyed their breakfast there, praising the tasty dishes and pleasant ambiance. It's recommended to visit at least once to experience the charm of this restaurant.
A truly excellent Indonesian restaurant! I was absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly tasty and authentically spiced—each dish had a wonderful balance of flavors and heat. You can really tell that everything is freshly prepared with a lot of care and love for the recipes. The service was also fantastic: very friendly, attentive, and helpful when choosing dishes. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening. Overall, a really great experience—I’ll definitely be coming back and can highly recommend this restaurant!
Daniel W — Google review
We were looking for a place to enjoy our last meal in Bali and wanted it to be something truly special — a final taste of authentic Indonesian cuisine before heading home. This restaurant turned out to be the perfect choice. Located conveniently inside our hotel, it offered not only a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere but also incredibly warm and attentive service from the staff. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and prepared with great care. You could really taste the freshness and authenticity in every bite. Among all the delicious options, the cassava fries stood out the most — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Truly unforgettable. It was a meal that made us feel both comforted and impressed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience to wrap up our time in Bali. This restaurant left us with such a positive and lasting impression — highly recommended for anyone wanting a memorable Indonesian meal in a welcoming setting.

Amazing family dinner at Kayumanis! We had a wonderful evening dining here with the whole family. Every dish was delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The restaurant itself is elegant and peaceful, with a menu that looks as good as the food tastes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Bali!

was in Jimbaran for holiday and looking for a seafood restaurant that is decent during lunch hour and found this unique restaurant. impeccable service, delicious and tasty food as well as reasonable price. the portions are very generous! they gave us complimentary crackers & options of sambals while waiting for the fresh seafood to be served. 10/10 must try!

I would say this is my best lunch in Bali. The environment is amazing. It seems like you are in jungle to enjoy your meal. The food leaves me great impression. I love the fish and kebab. I love them fantastic taste. Really recommend you guys come here to have a try for the Indonesian food.

We chose this place as the last dinner location before leaving Bali as we wanted something special. It was the best choice, as it had course menu where you could enjoy full course meal of Balinese dishes. The food was delicious and artistic, and was truly a beautiful experience, making the best last day dinner of our stay in Bali. Totally recommend to someone looking for something special, relaxed, and memorable.

We ate at this place this evening after eating at others places the previous 5 nights and honestly this is the best place to eat in the area. Beautiful restaurant on a nice property, really nice staff and most of all excellent food. It’s a bit up market cost wise but still well affordable. Highly recommend!
Gregory H — Google review
The food was great. We enjoyed the appetizer, the chicken soup and for the main course, the chicken satay and the fish. The chili sauces are likewise good, especially when paired with the food. The staff was nice. Of note, our server Radwi was nice enough to take photos of us. Overall it was a good experience.

Nestled along the white sandy shores and swaying coconut palms of Jimbaran Bay, Sunset Beach Bar & Grill is a laid-back open-air beachfront venue offering a stunning setting to unwind and witness the mesmerizing sunset. The bar provides various seating options such as beach-facing tables, sit-up bar stools, and bean bags under the shade of towering trees.
We visited for a beautiful sunset and dinner. We had a happy time with the delicious food and scenery. Even though it was a same-day reservation, we were considerate of the best place and were moved by the sense of bringing a beehive candle because there were some bugs. I think it's always the best kindness and global chain. We will visit again someday.
Hailey J — Google review
Terrific place to enjoy sunset drinks and meal. Food has been a bit hit and miss the few times we have dined here. A couple of times the food has come out cold, but to be fair, each time this has happened, we’ve said something and a replacement dish has quickly appeared with the corresponding charge removed from the bill. It’s not the error, but the response that matters most and the team at Sunset Bar & Grill have not disappointed. Definitely worth visiting. Book ahead to avoid waiting!
Luke S — Google review
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The location is superb - the best vantage point to take in the incredible Jimbaran Bay sunset. The menu is diverse and the food is delectable. The service is also friendly and attentive (a special mention to Agus who was delightful).
Michelle L — Google review
We came here at 10pm to redeem our drink vouchers. There’s a small stage which I assumed had live music that we missed. Great atmosphere as it was right next to the beach. You can hear the waves. The cocktails were really sweet and we barely tasted any alcohol in it. Service was slow but friendly. We also got a scoop of gelato and sorbet which came in a giant martini glass which was cute.

Spectacular!!! The property is grand and stunning The grounds are immaculate and mesmerising. Staff are gorgeous, smiley and energetic. Dinner was on point, dessert was wild. Then the band fired up and made the sunset fire. Absolutely wonderful evening and memories made with our family. Nothing to fault.

Spectacular! Bit hard to find from the main road as it’s about a 5 mins walk through the hotel grounds. Once you are there though it’s worth the walk. Beautiful setting and the food and drink are amazing as well! Staff are lovely and so very helpful.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the stunning Balangan Beach, Balangan Sea View Restaurant is the perfect spot for those seeking a tropical escape. Surrounded by lush gardens, this venue offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by an outdoor pool and billiards facilities. Guests rave about the delicious menu options, including standout dishes like baked ice cream and fresh seafood pomelo salad, all enjoyed in a delightful setting near the pool.
Glad that I came across this place because I was looking for some local cuisine at a good location close to where I was staying. Loved the ambience. Alfresco dining and pool view. Pretty close to the beach and the food had generous servings. Added photos of the menu for your reference ☺️ Ordered for myself the Nasi Goreng Teba Carik for 70k and the Chicken Satay also for 70k and both came with rice as you see in the photos. Couldn’t finish the entire meal coz of the rice but it was really good. Love the peanut sauce that came with the satay and the veggie sides. Will definitely come back here and might book my next stay with them as well since they have these really cute bungalows and was surprised that they’re not that pricey per night ☺️

I come back here for te second time but the second time is Bad, the staff are really unpolite at all, no one asking what I want to Order, the two girl in the reception just seating playing with phone, and when I want to Order they suddenley said that it’s already closed. but actually its 21:25. also outside its not writen closed yet. will Not Comeback again

**Belangan Sea View Restaurant: A Tropical Culinary Delight** Located on Belangan Beach in Bali, Belangan Sea View Restaurant offers not just stunning ocean views but also an exquisite culinary experience. The highlight of their menu is the Thai Style Pineapple Fried Rice, a dish that perfectly blends flavors and textures. Complementing this meal is the refreshingly cold Bintang beer, making for a perfect dining experience by the sea. ### Ambiance The open-air design of the restaurant allows diners to enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of waves. With a mix of rustic and modern décor, wooden furniture, ambient lighting, and Balinese art, the relaxed atmosphere is perfect for both romantic dinners and casual meals with friends. ### The Dish: Thai Style Pineapple Fried Rice Served in a hollowed-out pineapple half, the presentation of the Thai Style Pineapple Fried Rice is visually appealing. The rice, infused with flavors from succulent chicken and shrimp, cashews, raisins, and chopped vegetables, offers a delightful crunch and a burst of color. The sweet pineapple chunks provide a tangy contrast to the savory elements, while hints of curry powder and soy sauce add an authentic Thai taste. Garnished with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds, the dish is aromatic and delicious. ### Cold Bintang Beer A cold Bintang beer is the perfect companion to the Thai Style Pineapple Fried Rice. Its light, crisp flavor complements the dish's sweet and savory notes, and the beer's icy coldness is refreshing against the warm, aromatic fried rice. Enjoying a cold Bintang while gazing at the sea epitomizes the laid-back Bali lifestyle. ### Service and Overall Experience The staff at Belangan Sea View are attentive and friendly, ensuring a welcoming and satisfying dining experience. The service is prompt, and the waiters are knowledgeable about the menu, often making excellent recommendations. ### Conclusion Belangan Sea View Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Bali seeking a delicious meal with an unparalleled ocean view. The Thai Style Pineapple Fried Rice showcases the restaurant’s commitment to flavorful and visually stunning food. Paired with a cold Bintang beer, it's a dining experience that captures the essence of tropical indulgence.

Very nice place with a beautiful location and holiday vibe. Considering the low price, I feel the hotel offered a good value for the money. Balangan Beach is just 10 mins away on foot and offers a beautiful view. WiFi was a bit iffy, especially inside the room, but otherwise, I think I would come back to this hotel and can recommend it.

Never had a sour egg before. Until the breakfast at this place. Ordered poached eggs, which were thoroughly cooked (see pic). In addition, they were sour, hopefully because they were cooked in vinegar. Decided to finish the breakfast nonetheless as it was relatively expensive as well. The cappuccino comes straight out of a sachet as it's the sweet instant type. Would not recommend eating here at all! The staff is kind though and the garden is well maintained. However, it does not make up for the bad and expensive food.

Hotel
Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is a luxurious hotel that seamlessly blends modern Swiss designs with Balinese influences, offering a range of accommodations from rooms with pool or garden views to the extravagant Jimbaran Pool Suite. The resort boasts four dining options, including a poolside eatery and cafes serving Mövenpick's signature chocolate hour. Families will appreciate the extensive kids club featuring an indoor jungle gym, water slides, and various activities for children of all ages.
We had an exceptionally pleasant experience during our stay. The hotel facilities were outstanding and perfectly suited for families. My child especially enjoyed the swimming pool, which felt like a small waterpark designed for children, while the large adult pool was also very impressive. Initially, I encountered a minor issue with my room, but it was promptly and efficiently resolved by Ms. Astri, the Duty Manager. Her professionalism and attentiveness truly reflected the hotel’s excellent service standards. The staff overall were remarkably friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their hospitality greatly enhanced our experience. However, there was one unfortunate incident after checkout. The hotel kindly contacted me regarding items left behind. After confirming with my wife, we realized that an ice gel and some organic baby food were indeed forgotten. While the hotel confirmed that these items were found, upon my return only the ice gel was available, and the baby food was missing. This was disappointing, as I made a special trip back for the baby food, which is not easy to find in Bali. Despite this, the overall stay was very memorable, and this hotel has become our top choice in Bali. We will definitely return every time we visit the island.

My friends and I stayed at Mövenpick Jimbaran Bali in October 2025, and we were truly impressed with every aspect of the resort. The pool area is beautiful and spacious — perfect for relaxing from morning to afternoon. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and providing thoughtful service throughout our stay. The location is also great, just a short walk to Jimbaran Beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sunset in the evening. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of local and international dishes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d love to come back again.

We had a really wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Jimbaran. The resort struck the perfect balance between being family-friendly and still offering a relaxing atmosphere for adults. Our kids absolutely loved it — especially the fantastic pool — and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The restaurant and food quality were excellent, with a great variety of options each day. The Mexican restaurant , Adriana Cocina & Bar, was amazing! A special mention to the General Manager, Jan, who we met during our visit and who could often be seen walking around the resort, chatting with guests and making sure everyone was enjoying their stay. That level of personal engagement really stood out and made the experience feel special. We’d happily recommend Mövenpick to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly resort in Bali that doesn’t compromise on service, quality, or atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Tom — Google review
I stayed at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali for a solo escape, and it was pure perfection. I booked a room with direct pool access, and it felt like my own private paradise — I could swim straight from my terrace whenever I wanted. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. The resort grounds are gorgeous, with lush gardens, tranquil pools, and plenty of cozy corners to relax with a book or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful Jimbaran Beach, just a short stroll from the resort. It’s calm, clean, and perfect for sunset walks or just sitting by the water. I spent a few evenings watching the sky turn gold while enjoying the sound of the waves — absolutely magical. The breakfast buffet was amazing too, with a huge selection of international and local dishes. If you’re traveling alone and want a mix of relaxation, comfort, and beachside beauty, this is the perfect place. I left feeling completely recharged and can’t wait to come back!

Stayed 7 nights here - was a mixed experience TBH. We were hoping for family time with our 2 young kids (2 + 5 ). Our 5 year old wouldnt even have breakfast with us in the morning as there was a whole room with TV running all the time and grab whatever you want croissants etc...which was challenging with my daughters gluten intolerance. Also there was a dripping aircon? vent from in the kids breakfast room with a puddle right near my daughter. Told the staff with nothing really done. Next morning same thing. Every morning my daughter would just run away from us into the room and never have breakfast with us which make me feel a bit sad. Then the kids klub is suppose to have movie time only 7-8pm...well the TV is running the entire time, staff just chatting and my daughter literally just watched TV whenever in there.. they didnt really ever do or encourage the activities listed. Heard one of the staff members get snappy at another kid so we didnt go back in there. There was a couple of really lovely girls that work there though. The pool and pool bar is nice. Even though you are paying premium prices per night they still hammer with you so many additional costs etc. The breakfast selection was pretty good, did see a cockroach crawling on the ground one of the morning which ekk'd me. I dont think I would come back TBH

I did a girls trip with my daughter on this holiday and she was very happy to stay in this hotel. Everything is great, room is ok, buffet breakfast taste good, and this hotel have a lot activities for kids so parents can enjoy their relaxing moment while the kids can follow the kids activities on the kids club (some of them is paid activity), this hotel also have a very nice and big pool. And this hotel connected to the small shopping center Samasta Jimbaran, mostly is café, restaurant and some souvenir shops. Can be a good option to have lunch / dinner if you look at a place nearby the hotel. The only minus on this stay is I only able to get my room on the check in day after at 6.00 PM (this is informed by the reservation agent on the WhatsApp during i make confirmation on my reservation and this quite annoying me because normal check in time is 3 PM) and due to the hotel was in full capacity, I only able to get twin bed. But i can tolerate this minor minus to not ruin my holiday mood. We will definitely back again to stay on this hotel for our next trip to Bali.

Service is as expected of a top tier hotel, great. Check in process was smooth as the hotel reached out prior to arrival. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The pool is great for kids with an inflatable course, slide and pool playground. The depth is between 1.1 to1.2m which is great for kids. There is chocolate hour between 4-5 on the ground floor, great for kids. Happy hour at the pool bar between 4-6. Adrianna has happy hour between 22:00-00:00. Overall service is fantastic. The General Manager Jan makes an effort to introduce himself to guests, an added dimension of service. It is a pleasure meeting him and the team.

Exceptional service staff, they went above and beyond to meet all our needs. Hotel facilities are everything you need to pamper your staycation. The only feedback we have for improvement is the quality of the buffet breakfast. The variety is good, but the taste and freshness could be improved so that the food stays warm and doesn’t become hard. But overall experience was superb! Especially for catering a group of family like us where the kids and adults can have their own entertainment within the hotel & near (beach & Samasta). We spent 3 days there & wished we never left!

Nestled along the beautiful Jimbaran Bay, InterContinental Bali Resort is a luxurious beachfront retreat that offers an array of amenities for guests. The resort boasts 5 restaurants, 6 pools, and a day spa, making it perfect for water sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation. Families will appreciate the spacious rooms and suites designed with modern comforts and traditional Balinese architecture.
We truly regret not booking a longer stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The property never felt overcrowded, and the sunbed areas were well-spaced, allowing for a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. You can even order directly to your sunbed via QR code, which is very convenient. The restaurants are elegant, and the food is absolutely delicious. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed playing in the waves and taking sunset walks along the wide beach—it was such a memorable experience. The hotel is also very close to the airport, which made us realize it would have been the perfect place for our last night before flying home. Considering Bali’s heavy traffic, this location is ideal for a final stop before departure. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a stress-free stay before their return flight.

This is a five star resort, in a five star location, with five star service. Stunning pools everywhere with plenty of deck chairs, a beautiful beach right there, and multiple food (western and Indonesian) and drink options. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive. Staff were friendly, helpful, and plentiful. The room was wonderfully comfortable and the shower decadent. The location is also excellent. About 20 minutes from the airport, and providing excellent access to the entire (beautiful) south of the island. To be clear I absolutely loved the hotel and would stay there again without a second thought. So why the rating? Unfortunately the noise leak from our room to our neighbour’s was terrible and there was a young family there with two young kids and a baby. When we’re paying five star rates and specifically looking to relax, being woken by a screaming baby just isn’t acceptable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently stayed at the InterContinental Bali Resort and had the most incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality, and every detail of our stay was perfect. What truly stood out was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty. Traveling with a food allergy can often be stressful, but the team ensured I was always well taken care of. Their thoughtfulness made our holiday not only stress-free but unforgettable. A special thank you to: Eko – Manager at Taman Gita Suyasna – Waiter at Taman Gita Lingga – Waiter at Taman Gita Ananta – Waiter at Taman Gita Suyra – Manager at Jimbaran Gardens Kusuma – Belle Cucina Each of them showed genuine care, kindness, and attention to detail that made our stay so memorable. The resort itself is stunning — beautiful grounds, amazing facilities, and such a peaceful atmosphere — but it was the people who made it truly special. We leave with the happiest memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali!

The IC Bali resort, what a majestic complex. So green and beautiful maintained. Has some pools, entertainment, restaurants. all you can wish for. Also it has some cabins for the beach itself. The staff is auper nice. The only one thing that i could mention is that the rooms and buildings are old. you see it really well in some places, but at least it is in a good shape. But for people who love modern rooms this is maybe not your fo to location. i really enjoyed it .
GRAND A — Google review
Stayed in Room 4316 The room felt quite damp due to humidity, and there was a persistent urine smell in the toilet that didn’t go away. The shower could use a deep clean — I found patches of mould that blended in with the marble veining. Our balcony had a lovely view of the gardens with a glimpse of the ocean, but unfortunately, it received no sunlight, making it difficult to dry wet swimwear and leaving the room feeling damp and humid. We later realised that opening the balcony door made the hardwood floors wet from condensation. The couch had noticeable stains. Although staff clearly tried to clean it, as a bit of a germophobe, I couldn’t bring myself to sit or lie on it without placing a towel first. The bedding was okay, though the pillows flattened quickly and weren’t very supportive. It’s clear this is a 30-year-old property, and I can imagine how stunning it must have been in its prime. In retrospect, I should’ve requested a room change once I realised we were in one of the older rooms, but since we arrived late at night and had a toddler in tow, it was easier to settle in. That said, everything outside the guest room was absolutely fantastic. The staff truly make this resort special — so genuine, warm, and hospitable. Reception and the bell desk were always ready to help with deliveries, questions, or small change. Housekeeping serviced our room twice daily, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast at Taman Gita was phenomenal — a proper 5-star spread. We enjoyed sitting in different areas each morning: sometimes outside overlooking the bridge with the trio musicians, sometimes on the balcony facing the lotus pond. Special thanks to Suyasna, Oka, Widi, and Tiwi, who were all exceptional. The service across the resort was consistently impressive. For example, when dining at Sunset Beach or Jimbaran Gardens, staff would always check how everything was — even when we simply couldn’t finish a dish. Oka at breakfast remembered how much my daughter loved rambutan and surprised her with a freshly peeled bowl on our last day, even though it wasn’t available on the buffet. Sunasya even made me jackfruit fritters after noticing I loved the fresh jackfruit — they were divine. The staff at the pool bar and Jimbaran Gardens were equally wonderful. We had no issues finding a sun lounge as it was a quiet period, though I imagine it gets busier during school holidays. My tip: head to the pool to reserve a lounge before breakfast — by the time you finish, it’s perfect for a swim. Jimbaran Beach is gorgeous — soft sand and clean during our stay. While it’s a public beach with seafood restaurants at one end (and the occasional bit of rubbish, like in most developing countries), the stretch in front of the resort was well maintained. The pools were lovely, though the main one could use a bit more shade. Despite the room’s shortcomings, I would highly recommend InterContinental Bali Jimbaran for its incredible staff, beautiful grounds, and excellent facilities. We’d definitely return.
Dorene M — Google review
Good sized room not too cramp. Clean. Great amenities. Great service, nice locations lots of eateries nearby (walking distance via the beach if you want seafood), love the direct access to the beach. The downside is that the beach is not as beautiful as nusa dua beach (clear water, white sand), but still clean enough to swim around. Second, this maybe the first 5star hotel i visited which we have to pay if we want to join ANY kids activities (even only flying kite). Luckily my kid only loves to play in the beach ;) kids club probably more suited for up to 4yo. Other than that, this hotel is fantastic n we love it.

I've stayed in many IHG resorts BUT this resort stood out among the rest as it was Intercontinental Resort. My wife & I enjoyed it very much and the sad part was we should have stayed for few more days only to enjoy the facilities. My son stays at IHG as he's a Platinum member. He said he doesn't go out of resorts as he enjoys the stay at Intercontinental Resorts. I promised myself never to go back to Bali 10 years ago bcoz of behaviour of young Australian tourists who behave like hooligans in Bali. We only went for a wedding and Intercontinental changed my mind. We enjoyed it very much this time. Yes the GRAB driver cheated us from Intercontinental to airport. He asked me for 20,000 Rupiah which we paid him in cash BUT sitting in the lounge my email disclosed that I was charged 70,000 Rupiah as well. This left a bitter taste in my mouth. The amount was meaningless ($A5.46) but cheating is what I don't like. I wrote to Grab & they refunded the amount and took strong action against the Grab Driver. I felt relieved that there are good companies and people in this world. PS. Lesson learnt: To pay by credit and get receipt on email.

The spa at the Intercontinental is truly amazing, from its relaxing atmosphere to the comfort of the massages. Marni, the staff who served me is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the consultation regarding my massage needs was spot on. I enjoyed the Bali Ocean Serenity Spa experience. After indulging in hot water baths and a sauna session, the massage was more relaxing than I could have imagined! I highly recommend this spa.

Nestled along the pristine beaches of Bali, Jimbaran Puri, A Belmond Hotel offers a tranquil escape with its luxurious suites and villas. Surrounded by tropical gardens and tree canopies, this elegant beachfront hotel provides a serene retreat for guests. The resort features spacious Balinese-style accommodations with modern amenities, including secluded terraces or wooden decks with beach views. Guests can indulge in delectable dining options at the on-site restaurants or unwind at the beach spa.
We had a truly unforgettable stay at Puri Belmond Jimbaran! Our deluxe pool villa was absolutely amazing – spacious, clean, and very private. The breakfast and food in general were delicious, with a great variety and fresh ingredients. What made our stay extra special was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff – always smiling and ready to help. We felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Jimbaran Puri. The service was truly exceptional—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, offering a lovely mix of comfort and local charm. Our villa had a slightly damp smell, which we assume is quite typical given Bali’s high humidity—nothing that detracted seriously from the experience, but worth mentioning. There was a small hiccup with our table reservation at the restaurant one evening. These things can happen, though in a hotel of this calibre, we would have expected it to be handled more smoothly. All in all, we had a fantastic time and would gladly return.
Malte B — Google review
The room is very clean and beautifully maintained. We booked dinner at Nelayan Restaurant for 5:30 PM, which turned out to be an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset. We also had the chance to watch a traditional Balinese dance performance, which was a wonderful cultural experience. The villa itself is spacious, and the pool is stunning. However, the pool is 1.5 meters deep, so parents should be cautious if their children are not confident swimmers. Overall, it’s an outstanding place to stay — highly recommended!

Had such an amazing time staying at this hotel during our trip in Bali. It was such a luxurious and exclusive experience at this Belmond hotel. We stayed in a pool villa, our room was tidied to twice a day and the level of attentiveness and care given by the staff was fantastic. The hotel facilities were great - we felt very relaxed. Hotel breakfast and Friday BBQ dinner by the beach was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you want something quiet and exclusive and still in between all the key tourist sights. Definitely will come back here.

I can't recommend this hotel enough, we had a great time here. What is really liked: there is much space - at the beach, there is much space and privacy between sunbeds. It never felt packed anywhere at the hotel. And they play no music at the beach. It is so relaxing to just listen to the waves. I also want to point out the friendliness and professionalism of staff. People are generally friendly on Bali but the service and staff were next level. You can tell this is a well managed hotel. And my massage was divine. Thanks Mrs. Tri for the best massages I had on Bali. The hotel is kids friendly and you meet families, solo travellers, couples etc there. Everybody is welcome. We will definitely come back!

I stayed at Jimbaran Puri twice on the same trip (first for 6 days before a group tour, then for 2 more days at the end) back in November, and it was simply one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is stunning. I stayed in a Garden View Cottage Suite which was large, spotless, and beautifully designed. The outdoor shower was a highlight, and having your own garden with seating made it feel like a private villa. The bed was super comfortable and the whole space very relaxing. I used almost all the facilities. The pool is big with plenty of space and always peaceful. The beach is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. I was impressed to learn they have a dedicated team that cleans it each morning. The spa was excellent (do book in advance), and the quality of treatments and facilities was very high. I also tried several of the hotel’s activities and they were wonderful. The Temple Tour was a memorable, respectful experience where you learn to make offerings and visit the hotel’s temples dressed in traditional attire. The Cooking Class was a standout. You start with a trip to the local fish market (with a driver and personal staff member), select your fish, and then return for an engaging hands-on session with Chef Satrya, who was brilliant, making sambals and grilling fish. Truly a highlight of my stay. The hotel also organised a private fishing trip for me. I couldn’t believe I had a whole boat with captain and deckhand to myself. I caught quite a few fish and it was a really special outing. Dining was excellent. I ate every meal by the beach under the stars with the sound of the sea. The staff create a beautiful atmosphere with live music and Balinese dance performances that enhance the experience without being intrusive. I highly recommend trying their satay sauce. I had it with nearly every meal. Their virgin strawberry daiquiri was the best I’ve had anywhere. Small things stood out too. The pool loungers have call buttons for service (very convenient). The complimentary mosquito cream in the room was incredibly effective. The beachside shisha in the evenings was a nice touch. What makes Jimbaran Puri truly special though is the staff. I can’t emphasise this enough. They are the heart of this hotel. Every single person I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making my stay perfect. Some of the staff have worked here for over 10 years and it shows in how well they work together and how much pride they take in their service. Huge thanks to Putri, Kadek, Ayu, Dina, Elly, and Chef Satrya, and honestly to the whole team. I was travelling solo and felt incredibly well looked after, but I saw couples, families, and honeymooners all having a great time too. The atmosphere is calm, chill, and relaxed, ideal for unwinding. If I had to find one small area for improvement, the bathtub/jacuzzi felt a bit dated, but the outdoor shower more than made up for it. Would I return? 100% yes. The value for money is incredible, and the service here was easily the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Can’t wait to go back.

La Cabane Bali is an exclusive resort nestled in the verdant hills overlooking Balangan Beach. The eco-friendly hotel offers six bungalows and a villa, all designed with sustainable materials and traditional Balinese architecture. Guests can enjoy a private beach area, infinity pool, and complimentary breakfast. The location provides stunning ocean views and a cozy atmosphere, with lush greenery surrounding the property. The staff is known for their helpfulness and kindness, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests.
This place is just beautiful. The setting is idyllic and you feel like a world away from anywhere else. Rooms are great with your own private seating and dining area. The pool is small but perfect with cushions and beds to lounge on. The dining area overlooks the pool and the beautiful view. Food was delicious, and tried the frozen mango daiquiri which was also great. Only downside was sound of generator later in the evening, but not sure if that was this place or next door. Staff were really helpful and organised a taxi and breakfast box for an early airport run. Well worth adding this place to your Bali stay list. There's a private beach nearby too but I didnt have a chance to check it out

What’s an amazing stay… I travelled for my 30th anniversary in Uluwatu and that was one on my best experience. All days long, the staff is close to you, takes care, do their best, just awesome with their clients and that’s mean everything. The breakfast was perfect (and the restaurant as well) I also had a bday gift with a cake and a candle : I would like to thank again the team for all their thoughts and making my day just amazing… 🫶🏼 Everything was thought on site, you won’t missed anything and I think it was the most beautiful bohemian stay of my trip (pictures would talk for me…) I just can say « wow » for each details which made this hotel unique, that was unforgettable. Unfortunately, we were caught by a cyclone and the electricity/water was down for a day, no shower possible and anything else by the way… but once again the team did their best to forget. You must come eyes closed, you will never forget « your » amazing moment in Balangan with that kind of careful, goodwill, caring and lots-of-kindness beautiful team. Thank you again to make my birthday’s trip one of the most unforgettable in my life. 🙏🏼🌸🪴🤍☀️🫶🏼

ATTENTION: It’s a beautiful place but dont expect to sleep or have a rest. Do not book SOL BUNGALOW as it is right behind a local farm. The locals have all the crocs and animals free, and they are crocking from 4am to 6am by your side. Impossible to sleep. They said it’s not their fault, so there’s no refund. The solution: to speak with locals and hope and pray for them to take their crocs far from our room. It was our last Two days in Bali, just thinking on relaxing but not. Cool place of you just spect to take pictures and have a breakfast.

Super romantic, beautifully made, attention to details. Great staff, attentive to your requests and needs. Location is pretty remote but you can grab a scooter and get to all the amazing places. A little bit of issue regarding insects but you ARE in the middle of nature so normally you would have to expect that

This property is amazing. Every detail is impeccable. The photos don't do it justice. It is really a hidden gem . We just celebrated my fiances birthday there and the staff went way out of their way to make it special. We ordered a special meal and cake and it was divine. The bath tub was so nice. The property is full of special details. If you are looking for something superb, this is the experience you want.

this was our first accommodation in Bali. We had a warm welcome. We enjoyed our villa by the pool with a view of the ocean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and we always only ate there. The breakfast was fresh and rich. The villa was amazing and exotic like everything in this hotel. Definitely a warm recommendation for a dream vacation.

I strongly recommend La Cabane after having stayed for 3 nights also with a 10 mo old baby. The service was flawless and all requests we had we got help from the staff to fulfill. The bungalows are nice, bathroom is outdoors however we did not have anything against that. We had geckos visiting our walls however I assume you should count on that staying next to nature. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance, however a few including neighbouring hotels, but transportation is easily arranged via the reception.

We stayed at La Cabane for 3 nights to round off our honeymoon and it was a perfect way to finish the trip. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. It feels like you're in paradise. It's very 'Instagramable', if that's your thing! The room was lovely. It was a great size, the bed was huge and super comfy. The pillows were amazing. The decor was good and the outdoor bathroom was very cool. The staff couldn't have been more amazing. They were all so friendly and helpful. We were always greeted as if we were long-term friends. We were even (playfully) told off for trying to clear up after ourselves! Also, there is a hotel dog and she is beautiful! The food was delicious - If you're reading, can you please send us the truffle linguine recipe :) The pool is angled perfectly to watch the most beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hopefully we will return here one day.

Bali Elephants Boutique Villa offers Balinese-style villas with fully equipped kitchens and private pools, as well as sea-view verandas. Each villa provides a stunning valley view in Ubud, featuring traditional Balinese design and modern amenities. The open-plan marble bathroom leads to a covered outdoor deck with the soothing sound of the nearby river. The thatched roof adds to the nostalgic ambiance of the place. Guests can enjoy a peaceful stay and appreciate the friendly service provided by the innkeeper and staff.
Basic cheap place. Clean and has all you need. Air Con, lounge, good bathroom (open air), comfy bed, tv (which I didn't use), 2 min ride to lovely Jimbaran beach. A small fridge. But if you have trouble with stairs (which I dont) the are very steep. Has a small pool and a shared kitchen (which I didn't use) The girls that run this place are amazing. Very helpful for anything you need. Fantastic for the price, I renewed 3 times. Might stay again one day.

Soon as i have arrived they try to give me different room and lower price room. When i ask to speak with manager there was no manager and to talk then i took his number to call but staff let him know that i was going to call and he switched he’s phone. After a long trip we had no where to go so we had to take the room but room was dirty, had no windows to open and sharing area was completely dirty. After we spent 10 hours we had to leave and go somewhere else. It was the worst experience in Bali! I suggest not to use this property don’t waste your time and money. They are so unprofessional.

These stars are for the staff there who were super helpful and tried their best to accommodate our requests. So when we reach the villa, we were a bit taken aback by the not so clean room and not so private pool. The pool too did not look clean. However, the girls at the reception did their best to resolve the issues. They were super sweet and thumbs up to their prompt actions. The bathtub needs to be changed. Basically, the owner needs to maintain the property well and get new fittings for the bathroom. The location was ok for us as we had a two-wheeler.
Kausiki P — Google review
Extremely poor condition. Swimming pool, toilet, bed are extremely dirty. Was provided a lock but redundant as the room was accessible through the toilet. Very unsafe as there's no key to lock the door or the toilet. Full of dust and stains in the room. Pictures are totally different.

Situated in a stunning part of the island, it's just minutes away from the beach. The hosts are welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay while also respecting their privacy.
What a villa in a wonderful location, perfect if you want a traditional taste of Bali with all the modern essentials. Immaculately kept and clean, hosts are wonderful, really know the area and the real boss Rooksie ‘le chat’ (think that’s how you spell it, he’s French) was a gorgeous addition. I’d be back in a heartbeat, it’s got everything if you want to break out of the day to day, recharge and hideaway.
