Bistro 226 is truly one of my favourite dining spots in Ludhiana.
With its warm and cozy ambiance, tastefully maintained interiors, and lush greenery all around, it offers the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The menu is impeccable every dish is crafted with care and packed with flavour. Their pizzas, bruschetta, fresh and vibrant salads, and expertly mixed cocktails are absolute standouts. The main course, whether Indian or vegetarian, is consistently top notch, prepared with superb quality ingredients and presented beautifully.
Bistro 226 is the kind of place you keep coming back to for the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience. Highly recommended

Bistro 226 is our all time favourite place for family dinner. The food is so good that even my grandparents never resist to visit here and enjoy the delicious food. Whether it is veg or non veg each dish is just superb. The hospitality is awesome. The only restaurant where ur feedback is personally read by the owner and responded also . A great place😋😋
When as a couple / family we can't decide where to go - then Bistro is our default option. Coz you just can't go wrong with the food here. Anything and everything you order here will be delicious without a doubt. I have been a routine diner her since the day they opened and in a decade and more, they have never ever failed to live up to the reputation of being Ludhiana's number 1 resturant.
The menu has a wide array of cuisines and dishes - from Italian to Mexican to Asian to Indian. It's difficult to pick a cuisine they specialze in as all of them are equally good. But let me list some of my personal favourites. In soups you should try the Crackling Rice Soup as it is a dish that you willl not see in any other resturant in Ludhiana. The Char Grilled Salad is a must try as well with its delectablly well balanced dressing.
For main course there is a whole bunch of options to choose from including some amazing pasta options, thin crust pizzas, rissotos, asian bowls and mexican items. Try their pan fried noodles - it's different from what others offer.
Service is top notch as well. Because neither do you have a waiter sitting on your head to order nor do you have to ask twice for anything.
If I am forced to find a fault it would be the location. It's not easy navigating the Ghumar Mandi traffic. But once you are there its a true "oasis in the middle of chaos".
An excellent place to visit and spend time in the city of Ludhiana. Food Quality is good. Level of service is ok. You can enjoy draught beer here which is available and limited places in City. Snacks and food quality is very well maintained. Approach is congested but this is problem everywhere in the city. Overall a good place to visit and apend aome time
We went for a Dinner on Friday evening. As expected the Restaurant was almost full, thankfully we had booked our table. It has fantastic ambiance and there are natural plants and flowers all over . The food was authentic and delicious with good portions . Prices of dishes were commensurate to quality and quantity. Menu is vast and it took us some time to decide with helpful servers. Chef is not available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Indian food and tandoor items are not available at this time. I ordered a refresher drink which was served with 90% ice and 10% some flavour. The food tasted not that good either. Service is very slow. 10% extra service charge was levied without informing any customer and CGST and SGST was also added to the service.

Everything is amazing about the place. The seating, service, food and drinks. Mr Kamal Thakur catered to us very nicely and politely.
Must recommend the tandoori dimsum and stuffed mushrooms.

I recently dined at the underdogs and the experience was incredible. It really is an underrated place. The ambience was super pleasant especially if you dig that pub vibe. The food was delicious we had the ranch pizza and a platter both were unique and scrumptious. We particularly loved the whiskey masala cocktail, a must try. All in all a great experience. Everyone must visit it if you are in Ludhiana

Good for cheap and normal Hangouts. But don't expect much there...you even don't get any tonic water there... little choosy for orders as well. They don't want costumer's happiness only maintaining their normal standard.

Had a great night out with my bestie after 6years. Went there on recommendation. Although th3 vibe was disappointing the drinks and service made up for it. Service was pleasant. Got Nachos for food which were not at all good. Also got Broccoli dish which was good. For drinks we got one with kiwi, one with cucumber and another with mango. The drinks were okay. Not a fan. Its a 50-50. Your choice.

There was no problem with the taste of food..it was really awesome..but the quantity was less and dishes were overpriced. This place is pretty costly for non earning college students...staff was also non-responsive sometimes..n I personally suggest u to take seats in bistro is lower floor..upper open part is too too cold for winters and I assume it to be too hot for summers..open area is not much safe for kids too. Rest food definitely was tasty and do visit the place if u can afford enough.

Great food, relatively quick service. They only drag their heels when requesting the bill, but who really cares about that. Someone stated it as a problem in another review, and walked to the counter to pay, omg, they had to go to the counter...haha...Get over it. The actual range and quality of food is fantastic. Something for everyone. And they make minor adjustments to suit customers needs. Love the garden, just wish inside was bigger for busy periods. At quieter times the head chef had come to our table to take our order, that's quite nice
A very cold place during winters .. it is an open restaurant,if not a winter lover that too for Ludhiana winters where sun is a rare event during winters you shouldn’t go for it.. they provide you with heating coals but still in open i don’t think it works well...the food is very good and tasty but this place I won’t suggest for the college students as the prices are too high... the staff service is just okay..the decorations also as we went on Christmas was not so attractive. If you have kids then it is not a playing place as there they have pebbled floor...the place during summers or mid summer-winter would be good as it is all well decorated and looks beautiful at night..So you can plan a evening brunch or dinner there...so all over the place is good... not much of a disturbance is there if you are not surrounded by kids
We went to have dinner here. We had a very terrible experience which i want to share. The owner/manager/server had so much attitude in them. The server who served the food just came and left the food on the table and didn't bother to even serve the food. Nobody even came and asked if we needed something. We finished our dinner and waited for more than 10 minutes and still nobody bothered to show up. We finally got up and ending up going to the front desk and paid the bill. The owner/manager himself had so much attitude that i would never ever go back to this place. I am not sure how could he run this business by showing this kind of attitude and giving this kind of customer service.

i have tried all most all the items they serve and may personal fav were the platters, sauted vegetables and lazania, the quality of the food was great and the presentation was also good with a good ambiance.

Few days back, We planned to have dinner here on my marriage anniversary. We ordered Sweet Corn Soup and Veg Wontons as starters and all three Indian Summer Specialities in main course items of Mushrooms, Paneer n Chicken and Veg Biryani as well. Believe me, each item we had was amazingly tasty especially The Indian Summer Murg Masala was melt in the mouth. Ambience was very impressive, service was reasonably good and support staff was very prompt. The rates are a bit on the higher side but keeping in view the quality n quantity of the food items served, is understandable. I highly recommend this place n would love to try n taste some more food items from here.

The main course and the food was very good and taste , Also the quantity of the main course was also very good but don't go for there starter's because it's quantity is very disappointing. Nonetheless it's very good place to visit to have food. .. Dinner time is the best suitable time. And ethical decoration is also good for the theme.

Indian Summer.. Ordered kadhai paneer, tandoori rotis and pineapple raita.. and you won't believe the price of tandoori roti.. 40₹ for plain tandoori roti. (It's overpriced, I genuinely think even for a fine dining restaurant it is too much for plain tandoori roti). Also I was advised from my dear friends that don't prefer bottled water, it costs you around 120₹ / bottle. Consistency of pineapple raita was also not of 275₹. Kadhai paneer was priced reasonably.
Regarding service and ambience. service was very good and quick. Staff was polite. excellent ambience. Liked the food.

Went there during post Covid period so didn't get much hustle bustle. The closed underroof section felt like a dungeon but then we were directed to roof top. And we loved it😍. Beautifully decorated and spacious too. Some cool points for clicks too. Food was fine but drinks (beverages) were awesome. Drinks there force you to push your limits actually. This restaurant was an absolute disgrace—a complete waste of time, money, and patience. The service was beyond atrocious, with rude, incompetent staff and a manager who had no control over the chaos. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, the manager argued with customers, showing a shocking lack of respect and basic hospitality. The food was a disaster—cold, tasteless, and absurdly overpriced. To make matters worse, the place was overrun with children in an 18+ venue, turning what should have been a refined dining experience into an unbearable mess. The lack of professionalism, sheer negligence, and toxic attitude of the management make this one of the worst restaurants imaginable. This place either needs a complete overhaul or should be shut down immediately. Avoid at all costs.
I am outraged by my experience at this place! The service was absolutely horrendous. The staff was completely unorganized and seemed to have no idea what they were doing. The place itself was disgusting and smelled awful. No cleanliness was maintained in their rooftop portion.
Staff was illiterate. they will change terms and conditions after your order as in my case they told me to do minimum order of 2k to avail swiggy dineout. the problem was their was so pathetic and half cooked and i ooted go leave the place by only paying for pasta but they refused and argued with me to pay full amount without any discount. it was so irritating . i just chose to pay and leave that place. I will never go back there, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs!

We had gone as a batch for a party at this venue. Prior to the date of the party, we had ordered brownies and ice cream for everyone. On the day of the party, they claimed they ran out of brownies. Despite giving them a total headcount, they fell short by a significant margin and claimed bogus reasons for their shortcoming. They said that they had a incident where their brownies got burnt, however the owner ,sitting unbothered at the counter, made no effort to offer us compensation or refund. Morever the starters were also inadequate for the no. Of people we had. They just got more of veg food to fool us.

I went here with my family, we got the table 10:30, and there was no one else at the restaurant. We saw that the service was really bad, servant was walking really slowly, I complained to the manager that service is slow and we didn’t even get the napkins on our table and food was already one the table. To be honest, the manager also looked really tired, so I didn’t wanted to go further with him. After tasting food, we found out that the food was old and cold, in my opinion it was the worst food ever. Don’t ever go here with friends or family...

Crowdy place with pathetic customer service from serving staff. We went in with family and one kid and requested for baby chari for the kid but to our surprise after repeated requests we were told that there is just one baby chair and you will have to pick it up from the back besides billing desk. Quality of food was below average although they only had desserts average. All in all if you are going there with family then strict no otherwise with friends then its below average only.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Oliva Lounge and Bar. I ordered the Hakka noodles, and they were far from fresh. The noodles were cold and tasted stale, which ruined the entire dish.
To make matters worse, the outdoor seating area was filthy and covered in dust. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here.
Overall, the poor food quality and unclean environment made for a very unpleasant visit. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I had to call multiple people multiple times just to get their attention

The place was very good. Overall experience was very satisfactory. Most importantly they used only disposable plates,glass,folks,spoons which are of very high grade plastic due to corona virus situation. At entry they check your temperature and sanitize your hands. Place is neat and clean. Ambience is also awesome. Waiter service is also 5/5. Place has separate smoke room so others don't feel uncomfortable. They even arranged cake for us at our table from outside (obviously we have to pay for that) But i loved it. And i can come again here

very bad food and no understanding. After the first spoons my wife and me couldn‘t continue with eating. The rice tasted like old water from the tap with chlorine. We wanted to return it but they didn‘t accept it. They even wanted us to pay the full price. After very long negotiations he agreed to 600 Rs. So I gave him 700 Rs but he kept the change although he told me he will charge 600 Rs.
So all in all we payed 700 Rs for one starter and two beers.
Here you only find health risking dishes and absolutely no willing to compromise.

After returning it seemed that our money had just drained at a place where we were not able to collect any wonderful memories. Too disturbing due to their own staff I don’t know what they were upto but if you are not available at that time then close your premises instead of giving a bad impression... maybe at night it’s a good place but as it says cafe then you cannot imagine it as a normal, peaceful cafe where you spend your time well. They were arranging their chairs and table and it seemed as if they were just eagerly waiting if we would just get up from the place and go away. Ahhh so we had a very bad experience there and won’t be interested to go there again.

The food is delicious and menu is good. Its something one would find at other restaurants as well. I didnt find anything special in this place. I would rather say its a good place. Waiters are decent and would take care of your requirements.

Hyatt Regency ludhiana - a beautiful Hotel !!
Our very recent visit to Hyatt Regency ludhiana has been quite rejuvenating with a great experience. From a regular follow up by the team on our arrival time, to a warm welcome with roses🌹and a refreshing Aam Panna than escorted to our Premium Room which was large with beautiful decore, with a personalised chocolaty Photo frame with our picture and all the goodies specially prepared by the team was overwhelming. Hotel is located on the highway n our room had a nice view of the city, a beautiful lobby n bar with amazing interiors and a large multicuisine restaurant. Our one dinner was planned at the rooftop poolside with beautiful setup with Candlelights but unfortunately weather suddenly changed n we couldn't sit in the open and Chef n their team were very disappointed but when we shifted to bar with same setup it was equally great and enjoyed a fantastic meal there.
First night dinner was organized at their PDR with candle lights, n authentic Oriental cuisine with refreshing cocktails served with Thai Spiced peanuts and Pineapple Cucumber sambal followed by hot clear soup of Shitake with exotic vegetables.
Steamed Crystal cabbage dumplings n Chicken Sumai with dips were great starters. Honey ginger prawns were nice crisp n spicy. Fir mains we opted fir Hunan Chicken n rice only so we could give justice to the mains and loved it.
Dates pancake with chocolate sauce n Vanilla Ice cream was a fantastic combination of hot n Cold dessert.
An elaborate Breakfast lifts your spirits and hotels know how to pamper their guests. First days Breakfast was served by the Chef in our room with a Fresh fruit gazpacho n juice along with Salmon egg Benedict, Idly made with Ragi ( popular millet of Uttrakhand) and sprouts stuffed parantha of Jawar Atta. Healthy breakfast indeed followed by Honey n nutritious Mille-feuille.
There is more on food of second day on my next post. A fantastic experience one would love to go for anytime. Thanks to the GM, Chef n Marketing team who all have gone extra mile to make our visit memorable.

They're literally torturing there new trainee staff they made me work 19 hours in banquet hall i came back in night 2 o clock at my room again they're calling me 6 o clock morning. There's no sympathy emotions heart they have.
It was very very very toxic to work there.
Student should talk about this now.
Kharbanda jyotsna hired me as trainee and she doesn't care how new students are treated there.
Now am working in Dubai abroad still i cannot forget those couple of hardest days.
Overall we had a pleasant experience. We visited here on Sunday for brunch. It was our anniversary. Food options were amazing. We had drinks as well. Plenty of options were there. Food along with live music was real fun. Kids enjoyed the time overall. Must visit if you are planning for a special occasion. Do try their Sunday brunch 👍
Very disappointed from a 5 star hotel because people at the reception are not helpful at all. You call them and then they put your call on a hold for 10 minutes and when you call them again and then they say ,, oh yes sir I spoke to my duty manager and it seems difficult “. Even though they charged us extra because they have hidden charges. When you show them the reservation confirmation to tell them the price then they say it can be server issue. They are not ready to accept there mistake, instead of accepting their mistake then want to settle the extra money what we paid with something else. What a terrible service they are offering for a luxury hotel. HR Departement needs to hire good people who are willing to work and able to give good service. Not coming back again and not a recommended place at all.
Firstly the banquet hall was really spacious for gathering of 40 or 50 people. Arrangements made were looking extremely eye pleasing and calming. Fish tikka was quite nice however Indian food was not as tasty as it could be. However really loved the services and the staff was extremely hospitable

Food was not good at all. Presentation was fine but food was not tasty. Pizza and garlic bread was all about cheese, no taste no flavour. Hot chocolate was good though. Spring rolls 3/10 garlic bread 2/10 🤷🏻♀️ Also, don’t even try the wraps😑 especially the paneer one

I went in for a dine in experience and enjoyed good customer service however my low rating is due to the long wait and the high price for the wraps. The wraps were nothing special and tasted average. I would not return to this restaurant.
Food is good very authentic we had pasta but coffee was ok not a forte
Food was descent but over priced. Service quantity wasn't adequate either. They served one thin stripe of chicken ( in a meal) cost 700 rupees. The cheese cake price was equal to Lemmonnade which was odd and the waiting time was quite long for an an empty place.
Even if we leave portion of food and pricing out, the taste of food is below average. The cold coffee was pathetic, I didn't know someone can mess up making cold coffee. Customer service is also not good, they won't serve you even tissues if not asked.
