Nestled in the heart of Huddersfield, Lawrence Batley Theatre is a bustling cultural hub that offers an array of live performances, exhibitions, and meet-the-artist events. This vibrant venue showcases a diverse range of artistic expressions including drama, dance, music, and comedy. From gripping plays to mesmerizing musicals and enthralling concerts, the theatre hosts professional touring productions as well as local community performances.
Lovely theatre. It was the first time I’d been and I was impressed with the building - the elegant facade and courtyard and the beautiful well laid out auditorium. There were lots of helpful staff. Quick service at the bar and directions to seats. The show was amazing. A century of swing. Such a pleasure to be entertained locally by accomplished and talented musicians.

We attended the Lawrence Batley Theatre for my son’s final Big Band performance before he graduates from Huddersfield University; a lovely venue, handy parking nearby and very reasonably priced tickets & refreshments. Also, the theatre decors is outstandingly tasteful and the acoustics were excellent. 5 stars and we’ll be back :)
Paul J — Google review
The LBT is a great theatre. I wish there was more on there. It’s convenient, a great auditorium and a decent bar. Yesterday’s gig by the Dire Straits tribute was superb. We are lucky to have it.
Jan D — Google review
Just seen One Night in Nashville. Brilliant group of very talented people. Sung lots of of our favourites. The theatre staff too are always friendly and helpful. Carol & Jill

Brilliant performance of School of Rock The children were fantastic as were the adults from Longwood Theatre Productions. The staff and volunteers are fantastic helpful kind what more can I say. The place is clean and tidy. Couldn't have had a better Saturday afternoon. Went home and watched the film and Must say the theatre production was so much better. If you get chance to see this in another venue I would recommend you go watch them.

Castle Hill, located in Huddersfield, is a prominent ancient monument dating back almost 4000 years. The hill features the iconic Victoria Tower, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the town and countryside. It has been a popular recreational spot for centuries and is a favorite among hikers, nature enthusiasts, and photographers. The site also boasts an Iron Age hillfort and has been a subject of legend and scientific study.
It was very nice, has lovely views. My only criticism is the footpath from the car park to the castle isn’t very good for rollators/walking frames. I couldn’t use it, so my Dad had to walk to it without me.
Myles B — Google review
Sent our bikes up here one day, absolutely gorgeous view, but the land and heather around the tower was burned- no big deal. Going down the hill full speed was great though, if you’ve got a free day and like mountain biking I’d recommend it.
Ibraheem M — Google review
Castle Hill is one of Huddersfield’s best spots to visit. On a sunny day, the scenery is absolutely beautiful you get amazing panoramic views across the countryside. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing walk or to just sit and enjoy the fresh air. The historic Victoria Tower adds a nice touch, and there’s a lot of open space for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind. It’s also a great place for photos, especially at sunset. Whether you’re local or just visiting, Castle Hill is definitely worth the trip. Peaceful, scenic, and full of character.
Zhaid A — Google review
The views are awesome from the top of the tower , you have to walk up the steps and round a corner to see if its open to be able to walk to the top , only £2.50 each tho .
Steve S — Google review
First time we have been, the views are spectacular. We went off to do a 10 mile walk and when we came back had a good walk round the tower. The only negative thing I can say is that it needs a few picnic benches scattered around, other than that, loved it, will definitely go back again
Barbara H — Google review
Get there on a clear day and you will see far and wide. Went there in the 90's and was very happy to go back. Narrow roads to get there but with good parking. Very friendly staff to give you any history and for the young ones a dragon toy to take up with you!! And yes if your an adult you can clutch one too..small cash price to help keep history going that is needed.x
Kevin R — Google review
Great place for a picnic on the hill. The views are breathtaking, and the entry is free. Must go if you are around Huddersfield. The Victoria Tower is absolutely stunning.
Farrukh H — Google review
Beautiful day walking on the tops, great views. Real shame about the absence of boards, showing features on horizon at all points of compass, as they do at Beacon Hill, Halifax. Also it was meant to be open today, as signed, but it wasn't! Different walks are good, but I suspect the weather needs to be good also.

Nature & Parks
Beaumont Park, located on the outskirts of Huddersfield, offers more than just the typical park experience. With playgrounds and a bandstand, it also boasts stunning views of Castle Hill and features paths leading to woodland, waterfalls, and a disused railway. The heart of Huddersfield is home to this scenic park with walking trails perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility.
Lovely family/couple park, very well kept and maintained, lots of different routes to do, short and long. Parking is easy, I went through the week so it was very quite, lots of benches and picnic spots, ice cream van on site along with toilets, lovely little water fall nice to sit next to and take pictures. Has a park for the kids to run round and let of some steam.
Fallon H — Google review
Beautiful place to explore. Lovely to take the children or the dogs. Fantastic scenery and geology and a good play park at the end. The downsides however, there wasn't a single open toilet. There is one but it was closed. At 3pm during the summer holidays. Absolutely ridiculous for such a public place. Also there was a shady looking character behaving suspiciously at the park. Could've been innocent but looked very sketchy. We felt uncomfortable and so left.
Louise C — Google review
Lovely park, lots to do including wooden animal sculptures trial. Great views of Huddersfield nd the castle view, some historic things to view, nature, gardens and a great play grounds. Had two defibrillators I saw to.
Zena B — Google review
Very nice place to visit with the kids, tidy place with nice views of the surrounding area. Great hiking exploring the old and new. Parking can be a bit of a chore as it doesn't have a car park and you have to find a place on nearby streets. Worth the visit
Zaheer R — Google review
Best place to spend your layer time it has greenery. It has kids play area it has trails where you can hike where you can go walk around it got like a little monument in the centre where you can sit relax where you can stand with you partner and talk have a view with a really amazing place and I must visit Place so that’s my review it’s 10/10. Do visit and share to others live in Huddersfield.
Danish A — Google review
Tidy, well kept park. Nice mix of children's play park and nature walk with different paths to take. Toilets on site too.
Matt S — Google review
Beautiful park!! With two distinct walking routes. Left side for a fairy tale experience exploring rock formation, paths & steps, tree canopy, Gateway; and the right side for the playground, bandstand, Arches and a small pond. Clean, vast tree canopies and distant view of Castle Hill & Victoria Tower.
Sana B — Google review
Beautiful park with stunning views of the viaduct, the tower and surrounding hills. It has a good playground for small children. Toilets in need of an upkeep and a good clean. We loved the adventure of the trails and steps leading to the waterfalls, ponds, cliffs and site of the old castle walls and gates. Pity there is no longer the castle tearooms but there are information boards at the picnic area that show what it once was. What is left of the walls and gate is absolutely beautiful. There are also information boards on the old railway and station. The top of the park near the play area, toilets and information centre is great for everyone inc wheelchairs. It has the amazing views with lots of benches. But the trails and steps are only for those able bodied and good on their feet.

History Museums
Tolson Memorial Museum, located just over a mile from the town center of Huddersfield, is housed in the Victorian mansion Ravensknowle Hall. The museum offers a diverse range of historical and natural history exhibits, including Roman finds, a unique Valveless Car from 1914, and an extensive collection of taxidermied birds.
What a staple gem of a place still going in Huddersfield. Educational and full of local history this museum is pretty much unchanged in 40 years or longer but who cares because it's still going and it is full of useful items of interest over the years. If you haven't been for a long while or never been at all then I would urge you to visit. It's FREE as well. Also we had two great cups of coffee, which were better than most cafe to be fair st very reasonable rate. Limited bites only. Snackie stuff.
Ian W — Google review
Loved all the exhibits, and pretty much just the right amount of info - on a par with Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley. Only problem was I found the exhibits upstairs poorly lit - I realise this costs money, but maybe it could be ramped up if there are plenty of visitors. One final comment: the Hulk Hogan doll must be removed - he's a racist and a fascist, who supports Trump; wholly unacceptable in a British museum - please find a replacement: maybe Postman Pat!
Mike W — Google review
This was a brilliant museum to visit, covering a wide scope with its artefacts! There is a military section including memorials to soldiers and toy battleships with sandbags in the background, leading into the Victoria section. This demonstrates the different entertainment shows and clothing from their times, alongside information about how different schooling truly was then! Artefacts of bottles, plates and cups are shown in a separate room giving more insight into living for people. A transport section seems to be upstairs with various bikes including a pink, yellow and blue one, alongside a couple of tractors. I really liked the trains part with all the different station signs and model trains, a tram is even included in the museum that can actually be walked right across! Later on, there is more general amenities from past eras, old industrial equipment and even a countryside with housing depiction of what the area used to be like.
K. P — Google review
This is a relatively small but interesting museum close to the centre of Huddersfield. It had displays on local history, transport and WW1. It's set in parkland and there is a play area and small gift shop.
Tim J — Google review
Fabulous local museum! Beautiful building, wonderful varied exhibits. But what really makes it special is the incredible staff who welcome you! Superb. 👌🙌🙏
Colette C — Google review
Was very suprised and delighted how much on show they have, I won't put too many photos on go visit! Free parking and admission, plus garden, we bought cuppas and fudge though donations welcome. Take a picnic and ball for the field, make it last a good few hours!! x

Free parking. Free entry. Not huge but a good sized museum with a good collection of items. Ideal for any age, cafe and gift shop withing museum with a kids playground on the parks site.

Nature & Parks
Greenhead Park, located near Huddersfield, is a popular destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The park offers two play areas, a miniature railway, a large pond, and ample green space for leisurely strolls or picnics. For those seeking a budget-friendly date idea, the park's proximity to the university makes it an ideal spot for a romantic picnic. Additionally, visitors can enjoy sports courts, cafes, and seasonal activities such as paddle pond during their visit.
Lovely park, we were very surprised at how attractive and well kept the park is. We parked on the road to the side of the park quite close to one of several gates. There is plenty of interest including a pond, little bridges, tennis courts, bowling greens, play grounds, band stand and possibly a cafe/ice cream and miniature railway in the summer. Although it was a cool day, there was still an ice cream van in action. A very nice 2 1/2 mile walk.
Judy D — Google review
Lovely place to sit and spend some quiet time on a sunny day. Free entry and very clean inside. We were lucky to enjoy the colour festival on the day we went. Overall, it is a good place for children and elderly both.
Amit D — Google review
Well maintained, maybe this is where my astronomical council tax money is going. The park and play areas are very clean and modern, a lot of effort has gone into the up keep and there is a lot of history around the park. There was a water fountain maintenance team emptying a water feature on the day we visited and I would of thought they could of used the water a little more wisely during a hose pipe ban and general water shortage across the country, (like watering the plants) rather than pumping the water straight onto the nearby path.
Gav C — Google review
A very beautiful park. Came here a couple of times just to walk and spend some time in nature. Lots of open areas for children to play and run around. Football, basketball, and tennis courts on one end too. Saw a cafe too, I think (not sure).

A really lovely park with something for everyone. Free parking and lots of quiet areas to sit aswell as playgrounds for different ages an onsite cafe, ice cream man etc.

🌳 Greenaway Park, Huddersfield – A Hidden Gem! 🌳 Greenaway Park is absolutely stunning — one of the nicest locally. There’s so much to see and do for all ages, with plenty of amenities that make it a joy to spend the whole day here. Everyone we met was so happy, positive, and friendly — it really gives the park such a welcoming atmosphere. We stopped by the war memorial to pay our respects and took the opportunity to teach our children about the past — how our ancestors fought bravely and helped rebuild Britain. It was a peaceful and meaningful moment in such a beautiful setting. The play areas are fantastic, with separate spaces for babies, toddlers, and older kids. We enjoyed a lovely picnic before walking up to the café, which serves the most delicious ice cream in dipped wafer cones — highly recommend! Right opposite is the mini train, and the operators were so friendly and chatty; we had a lovely conversation before hopping on for a ride. Being early October, the trees had turned the most beautiful shades of red — the autumn colours made for some stunning photos. There’s also plenty of on-street parking, which made visiting super easy. This park offers so much to the community, and we’re truly grateful for everyone who volunteers and helps maintain such a special space. Greenaway Park is a perfect blend of beauty, history, and family fun — we’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Greenhead Park is a delightful place to spend time outdoors. The park features beautiful walking paths and expansive areas for children to play. It's impressively clean and well-maintained, with ample garbage disposal facilities. The play areas are in excellent condition and appear to adhere to safety regulations, providing peace of mind for parents. A charming duck pond adds to the park's appeal, offering opportunities to observe wildlife. Additionally, there are plenty of benches and seating areas scattered throughout, making it easy to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Greenhead Park is a wonderful spot for relaxation and recreation.
Mike B — Google review
Lovely Victorian park, well maintained with great facilities tennis, bowling, pickle, skatepark and patanque. Small cafe adjacent the tennis courts and a larger one in the former hothouse. Play facilities for children of all ages and fantastic Parkrun! Well worth a visit.

Specialty Museums
Colne Valley Museum, situated in Golcar near Huddersfield, is a tribute to the industrial legacy of the Colne Valley region. It offers an immersive experience into the daily lives and craftsmanship of 19th and early 20th-century inhabitants. The museum's weavers' cottages feature various workshops such as a Victorian kitchen, clog makers workshop, and blacksmiths forge.
Really liked this small local museum. Based on a traditional weavers cottage, it’s well thought out and run by local staff. Split over 3 levels giving a really good insight into cottage industries just at the Dawn of the Industrial Revolution. Very informative staff gave demonstrations on lacework, spinning yarn and weaving cloth, even giving out small samples of cloth made on the premises. There’s a small tearoom selling local homemade cakes etc which was nice too. I can highly recommend a visit here.
Long P — Google review
This is an amazing little museum, in little old Golcar but is staffed by the most amazing volunteers. Over the years it has expanded into several of the adjoining weavers cottages and now has so much more to it. Plenty of school trips are overseen and special days of baking Golcar Lily Bread. But to top it all, now they are starting with Afternoon Tea events, we went and it was so tasty. I hope you do many more ❤️❤️
Mark E — Google review
Lovely little museum. Exceptional staff. Nice little cafe. Parking available 2 mins walk. If you're lucky...the well might be open (hard hats obligatory!)

Had the most wonderful outing to the Colne Valley Museum!!! What a place, the history was quite overwhelming!!! Incredible insight into the cottage industries. They only open on a weekend for visitors, although they open during the week for schools. It's well worth a visit, very interactive, you can try things and watch the demonstrations, there's even a lovely coffee shop. Do go if you get the chance!!! The staff are so welcoming and it really is one of Huddersfield's hidden gems.
Emma K — Google review
The excellent volunteers that run this museum made our visit exceptional. Their knowledge and demonstrations are second to none! We spoke for ages to the weavers and watched them run the manual looms. The spinner was very engaging with his demonstration and tales. And the clog maker - massive in-depth knowledge and some good tales to tell. The lady in Mrs Pearson's kitchen was very engaging and spoke to us all. She pointed out all the features of the kitchen and explained how people lived in the time of Mrs Pearson. The cafe was lovely with fine tea and coffee served. The museum is small, but please spend time talking to the volunteers. Definitely recommend if you want to learn about local life in bygone years and our heritage. Thank you to the volunteers for making our visit so memorable.
Peter C — Google review
Took my dad for the Autumn Afternoon Tea. The food was delicious and all home made. The volunteers wear Victorian costume and the atmosphere is lovely. It is obvious that a lot of care and pride is taken in running the tea room and the museum. The museum is fascinating too and really a great glimpse into the past from people with a great deal of knowledge. It is really an immersive experience. We will definately go again and would highly recomend. Parking was easily found on the road nearby too.
Han B — Google review
A wonderful and surprising gem, showing the areas very interesting history through the ages. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Parking can be quite difficult to find as the village is well used by locals and visitors alike. But worth the time and trouble some fantastic local walks to enjoy and some unbelievable views across the area
Edward M — Google review
I came to the museum on 9th September with the Association for Industrial Archaeology's visit, which I very much enjoyed. You were all really welcoming (despite our group being a couple of hours later than originally booked) and the museum contains lots of interest, including the building itself. Of all the visits undertaken that week, the most special highlight for me was seeing your spinning jenny being operated. I have known about them ever since my schooldays decades ago, but always assumed very few were left and only in a fragile state in museums. I live in Dorset, so perhaps they are common in West Yorkshire! Your area is where my wife was born and brought up, so it was nice seeing the landscape and meeting the locals. Dr Peter Stanier

Wow!!! This iconic building is really impressive inside! It's a great place for live music , the acoustics are tremendous! We went to watch MICHAEL starring BEN , a tribute to Michael Jackson, and boy did he rock! The sound was amazing , great seating , we were in the stalls at the back. Great view from there and handy to run to bar at interval ! The decor of the building is beautiful and the sweeping balcony had great views too! Fabulous

This is a lovely little venue and felt intimate being near the front. Really nice architecturally inside and the organ is a nice feature. Only downside was someone came down the long queue to see where we were sitting, so showed the tickets, he even said they're easy to remember. 15 minutes later someone else came down saying the queue we were in was for the balcony, so could have been in the warmth on a cold December night 15 minutes earlier

Very disappointing and upsetting experience from the Asian lady steward at tonight’s Opera North concert. I was with my 7 year old daughter and we were made to feel most unwelcome and were treated with such hostility by this individual. Not something I have experienced before going to an afternoon concert! We left at the interval and we shall not return to this venue.

Birthday treat for my youngest at the climbing wall with her friends. Nice little area reasonable prices and kids had fun. It is very noisy and maybe could do with some sound dampener.

Tight entrance and exit for the car park but plenty of spaces for parking. Centre has a selection of shops, coffee shops and snack shops. House of Fraser was nice with helpful friendly staff. Costa coffee shop had ar least 6 staff and were very disorganised and no customer service from the staff but the chairs were great. TK Maxx had a good range of products.

Didn't have enough time today to shop and spend lots of money! Seriously. It closes at time when during a week people just come back from work and have free time to go shopping. But its closed. And at the weekend is the same story, when people going out for fun and might have mood go buy something too. If its for people then it have to work till 8 pm mb? As well would be nice to make a floor for children area with different fun, activities to do. They need have childhood with fun too, brightful and happy, but seem everybody forget about them these days. Thanks for attention

The Kingsgate Shopping Centre must be the cleanest of its kind I've ever seen. A lovely front entrance leads into what is an immaculate arcade of shops which are all the 'big hitters' of the high street. I don't know how long it's been open but it's 'whiteness & pureness' is hard to ignore. Well done to the staff for keeping it looking stunning... It has been noticed but maybe not by everyone 👍

Standard shopping centre Clean and well lit Car park pedestrian unfriendly Poor signage to lifts once in car park Heavy doors making it unfriendly to anyone who is unable to push a heavy door from outside the centre ,

Lots of parking available and quick access to shops. However... bays are tight and require a lot of patience to get into as you can see from the photo. Clean tidy and well lit but the spaces and pillars make it frustrating. In terms of pricing less than 6hrs is well priced then after that the price will double to £12.50 which is hefty but i imagine in line with other car parks.

Good shopping centre with carparking in Huddersfield. It's got plenty of place to eat and a House of Fraser store. Parking on Sunday is £1.50 for the whole day.

Eureka! The National Children's Museum in Halifax is a popular destination for families with kids aged 0-11. It emphasizes learning through play and features interactive displays and role-play areas to engage children in hands-on activities. With six zones to explore, outdoor space, and family-friendly facilities, it's a top choice for a fun day out. Located near Halifax Railway Station, the museum is easily accessible by public transport.
It is beautiful, interactive, smart and a learning space for children and adults. Make sure the adults have patience and the kids had a nap :)) There are endless activities!! The museum is right at the exit of the train station. There are picnic areas inside and out for own food, there is a cafe to buy warm/cold food, drinks and even ice cream. There’s also a sand pit outside. You can go in and out if you want, they will stamp your hand.

Such a great interactive museum. My kids aged 5 7 and 11 all absolutely loved it. So much to see and do to keep them entertained. Dressing up, role play, interactive exhibits all ready to be touched and experienced. Eureka are also extremely helpful and accommodating to children on the spectrum. With resources there to support parents and children who may be overstimulated. We got there at 10 and left about 3 so a good chunk of the day. We took our own picnic and refreshingly for a museum they have both inside and outside picnic areas which is great. The only downside really is the price. They do have different discounts available but it can get quiet expensive for a larger family, although once you pay in you get a years membership so another plus

Went with my 9yo. I wouldn't say it is a full day out. We felt most of the museum is aim at 5 and under. We spent three hours here and did several of the attractions twice.. Personally would not say it was worth the £55 I paid..another thing I didn't realise was the car park is pay and display another £6 added to the day.. Lots of places to sit with a picnic. Cafe is as to be expected a little expensive.

Had a lovely day at Eureka and it was surprisingly easy to get to via Rochdale train station and when you get off the train, Eureka is right next to the station. My daughter was very wary of the ABOUT YOU section as it freaked her out but after we got her passed that she enjoyed the gaming room, Lego, drawing, play house exploring. Well worth a day out.

Amazing place! Every time we go it's a different adventure. My 3 and 6 year old love it and it doesn't matter how many time we go.
Kirsty D — Google review
Brilliant day, my Grandson loved the sandpit and the pizza in the restaurant was good, not frozen cardboard type that you get in a lot of kids meals. I guess it's quite expensive, but as we live locally we will use the unlimited additional twelve months access
Deborah L — Google review
Went here when I was 8 or 9 with primary school and I remember how cool it was. I'm 40 now and couldn't wait to take my lad. What the heck has happened to the place? It's not at all how I remember it. It's more like a creshé for toddlers not the interactive adventure filled fun experience I had when I was at school. My lad is only 6 and he was bored after 2 hours and so was I. There's a food court that was so busy there were no tables left. So we went to the picnic area and again no seats so we waited another hour to sit down and eat something. £18 each is a bit steep for what you get which unfortunately isn't much now. Coming back has ruined a good childhood memory and we Won't be coming back in a hurry sadly.

Kids absolutely love this place, especially the infinity tunnel. Cafe is a bit expensive costing nearly £30 for 4 drinks and 4 slices of cake. Plenty of places to have a pic ic inside and outside. Lovely big sandpit outside.

The Piece Hall in Halifax is a remarkable 18th-century cloth hall that has been transformed into a vibrant hub of history, entertainment, and commerce. As the only surviving Georgian cloth hall globally, it stands as a testament to the region's textile trade heritage. Today, visitors can explore historical exhibits while enjoying an array of shops, bars, and restaurants within its classical gallery arcades. The venue also hosts live music events featuring acclaimed artists and bands.
Went for Anastasia concert. This venue is uncovered except balcony so you need to make sure you well covered because you may be cold. I saw people with the blankets and I thought it was a good idea 😂. This place is just few minutes from the train station which makes it very accessible. There were lots of food and drinks places and the waits was not very long. The concert was great and accustic was good. Recommend this place but make sure you cover yourself well in case of rain.

The best music space I have been too! Beautiful building. Bar is ran really well with a efficient queing system. Price of drinks are reasonable and food provided is accessible and high quality. Really helpful and friendly staff. Will look forward to my next visit

Two gigs Simple Minds & Faithless. SM was in the lounge and Faithless on the balcony. The sound on the balcony section with the lounge, is at an angle that completely wipes out anything like reasonable sound. Don't go lounge if you wish for coherent sound from your band. Faithless was completely different. The balcony is directly opposite the stage and the sound was actually very good. Staff at the gig were very good bar the odd 'I don't want to be here' which you get everywhere. Elsewhere they were friendly and pleased to help you. 3 stars for the sound let down at SM, it really wasn't worth being there. However, balcony or downstairs, all fine. Traffic sport links, very, very easy - train station 200 yards away or very easy to park a d very easy to get away too. I am sure I'll be back.

Pretty impressive when you consider the age and history, the rejuvenation of the site has certainly made it a fascinating place to visit. Lots of small independent shops and places to eat, definitely worth visiting The other shopping areas of Halifax are only a few minutes walk away.

What a lovely day out! Everything about Piece Hall is stunningly beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised. There are cafes, bars, shops, museums, concerts, markets and much more. Everyone who works there was so helpful and friendly. The gelato and hot chocolate were delicious served at the pizza restaurant. Definitely will go again soon, I believe the Christmas markets are lovely.

A concert.. Apollo Junction, Cast and Doves. Fabulous concert. Apollo Junction were very good. Cast were my standout. Doves sound odd without their normal lead singer, not helped by the mix that seemed to hide their vocals behind the music. The highlight being surrounded by my contempories dancing like it's 1995 ... Only slower. Not forgetting that the lead singer of Apollo Junction brushed past me while I wasn't looking, to stand next to me and sing on the steps. I didn't even take a picture it was that surreal.
Robert S — Google review
Amazing concert venue! Loved the libertines, the only issue were the toilets! Only on one side only the venue so if you're watching the concert on the other its a right farce to fight your way through everyone and there is definitely not enough of the portaloos!!! Apart from that i loved every second!

Restaurant
Home on Lindley, situated in the heart of Lindley, Huddersfield, is a lively restaurant renowned for its delectable British tapas. The menu offers a diverse selection including slow-cooked Moroccan lamb, tandoori fish, and eight-hour braised ox-cheek. With rotating seasonal menus, there is an extensive range of options to choose from. Despite the challenges faced by the hospitality industry, Home on Lindley continues to innovate and provide exceptional dining experiences.
I’ve been here a few times as I live locally. Fantastic spot. Most recently dined on a Friday night with my girlfriend. Service was very good considering a very busy atmosphere. The food is fantastic, a wide variety including vegetarian and GF. I am a big fan of the small plate sizes and feel that 5/6 is perfect for 2 people. You also don’t feel like you’re missing out as you can try bits of everything. Personal favourite is always the pork belly here, definitely recommend! Not my first time here and definitely not the last. Thanks

What a lovely vibe at Home. Reserved a table on a Tuesday at 6.30pm. Asked to move upstairs and were accommodated. Lots of choice and a great specials board. Attentive service throughout. Special shout out to Georgia who couldn't do enough for us. The food was so flavoursome. We ordered padron peppers, honey and sesame chicken, sweet chilli crispy beef, belly pork (divine!) and a spicy marg to finish the evening. Definite value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough x

We went as a family. The food was amazing. The service was incredible. The young man with dark hair was brilliant with our 9 year old son. Very entertaining.. the atmosphere was relaxing. We would highly recommend for a family meal. We had the early bird offer. Only downside was that it wasn't explained to us so we ordered selections that weren't included and only found out when paying the bill. But since the food was amazing I was happy to pay.

A group of six visited a few weeks ago, two issues we have. The menu says three dishes for £28, we went to order it and was told we all have to have the same thing, I said it does not say that on the website, I was told again they a all have to be the same. So a single diner can order what they want but any more diners need to order the same?. Get it on the website/menu so it's clear to guests. Service was very poor, when dishes came they were thrown on the table, when we asked for the bill, again, t was thrown on the table. We spent over £200 and were left disappointed, we won't be rushing back.

As a large family group we ate at Home and the food was in our opinion exceptionally poor. Food appeared to have been reheated often burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. If you are vegan or vegetarian this is not a good option for you. We advised the staff about the food quality and they were apologetic. We paid in full but will never go again. Very disappointed.

100% worth a trip. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon was cheerful and lively. The venue itself is also stunning inside. The standout dish for me was the cauliflower buffalo wings. I didn't expect to like them so much. The tuna was also incredible, I would highly recommend it and the paprika fish had such a good flavour. For deserts I can highly recommend the panna cotta and the key lime pie. I doubt there is a dish on the menu that would be a let down. The chefs know their food.
Katrina C — Google review
The staff were lovely, the food was lovely (Although the recommendation of 3 tapas per person was a bit much for us) maybe a little more flatbreads to dip in the delicious sauces. Still highly recommend for a great evening.

Huddersfield Art Gallery, housed in the same building as the town library, has a rich history dating back to its opening in 1940. Initially used as a hospital during World War II, it officially became an art gallery in 1946 with the launch of a major exhibition by Sir Kenneth Clark. The gallery showcases local and internationally renowned artists such as L.S. Lowry and Henry Moore.
A really nice gallery space on the top floor of the library building. There's a small number of permanent exhibits including highlights by Lowry and Francis Bacon. It's a really great space to have your work exhibited and I've had photos in the gallery every year since 2009 as part of the annual exhibition run by Huddersfield Photo Imaging Club in Kirkheaton. It's quiet and always a pleasant place to while away some time.

A gorgeous art gallery that gets overlooked too often by passersby. There's a beautiful inhouse collection of paintings, and a new exhibit on every time I visit. It's not big enough for crowds, but a group of fotry could spend a good twenty minutes here. The main drawback is accessibility, if you don't like stairs, you'll need to take the worn-out lift from the ground floor. And I've only used it once, because the lingering smell of body odour was so repulsive. Please clean out that lift! 😷 With some more attention to cleanliness, and better advertisement, this could become more than a hidden gem.
Martyre20 — Google review
If you're in Huddersfield shopping, its really worth having a look in the art gallery as sometimes they have some great exhibitions on. It's a really big space and they often run workshops etc if you're interested in art. Staff generally leave you to browse but are happy to help if you have questions.

A small collection of choice paintings, sculpture and ceramics. Some interesting exhibitions; the Chris Gollon one is particularly good. Building showing signs of our maintenance and gents toilet is shabby.

Poor pictures and art in the gallery. For example a women standing in front of Lidles supermarket taken by a phone camera, it states people who shop there are idiots. It states she is disadvantaged becuase she watches too much Netflix. Again pointless picture. Much of the work has no meaning to it. I will not go again.

We had a lovely bank holiday weekend stay over. All the experience rooms were very clean and well maintained. Myself and my mum both had a treatment each and agreed it was one of the best massages we have had. There were also plenty of vegan options to have on the menu that were full of flavour and when we stayed over, they had gone above and beyond but stocking the fridge with oat milk and vegan supplies. It was a luxurious and very relaxing experience overall. We can't wait to return
Whitney B — Google review
I will start by saying I've stayed at the titanic a couple of years ago and it was fabulous, needless to say I was expecting much the same experience but sadly this was not so .. so on arrival the receptionist were polite and helpful , after checking in myself and my husband headed off to the changing rooms , there was no explanation on how to use the lockers as in you need to put in a code twice to make it lock , after opening several lockers looking for one that would work it seems no one else knows how to work them either as most were unlocked but full ..onto the pool , sauna etc all much as I remember them but a bit tired and grubby, felt a tad dirty but we made the most of the facilities, onto lunch if you could call it that , we made our way to the dining area at our designated time and waited to be seated , we were greeted by quite a sour faced young lady who then seated us , a short while later the same girl took our lunch order , I ordered a soft drink and the chicken pasta , the pasta arrived if you could call it that , it was seriously overcooked to the point of sludge , it contained 3 very small pieces of chicken and 3 olives , the sauce consisted of what tasted like tomato puree , it was inedible, whilst sat in the dining room all we heard was the girl who was serving us complaining to a young man behind the counter about how stressed she was .still trying to make the most of our stay we laughed it off and said hopefully dinner would be better , we then checked into our room which was clean and looked nice , onto our facials , we arrived at the treatment rooms at the time given , this was the part I was looking forward to as I've had many elemis facials and find them so relaxing including a previous one at titanic, the young lady escorted me to the treatment room , very polite etc really lovely young lady but that was where the enjoyment ended , I lay on the treatment bed and attempted to relax , now I have stated that I have had a facial at titanic before and the lady doing the treatment was like a silent ninja so much so I slept through the treatment, this time the lady clattered and banged drawers , rattled packets rolled her chair round the bed , even mixing the face mask she proceeded to bang away at the pot ,after applying my face face I then heard her guzzling a drink , the products used where lovely but the treatment itself was shocking.Off to our evening meal , our table was booked for 7.30 and once again seated by a unhappy looking young lady , our food and drinks order was taken and our starters arrived but no drinks , this also happened with lunch , eventually drinks arrived but they were not ours , my husband said these are not our order and the lady huffed and puffed at us and took them away , eventually our drinks arrived after we had finished our starters, I attempted to order another glass of wine only to be completely ignored , at 8.37 our main meal arrived lol , one hour , 7 min from being seated , I will add the restaurant was quite , I then once again asked for a glass of wine for the girl to reply can you bare with me , I'm not sure what I was baring with as she had been stood around doing nothing and avoiding eye contact with customers and the drink station was probably about 4 foot from our table , once again the food was inedible so off to our room , no plug sockets in the bedroom to charge our phones or use the hairdryer, 2 lovely bedside lamps at either side of the bed neither worked , TV was hit and miss , signal kept going , next morning breakfast was 2 stale dried out bagels , overall not a great experience

We went for a twilight spa for my daughters birthday it was absolutely amazing. The staff were really polite and helpful. The facilities were amazing. Better than any other spa I have been to. We will definitely visit again.

Me and my friend had a lovely treatment - the spa therapists were excellent! The spa itself was great and we really enjoyed it albeit quite busy. The food however was a real let down for the money we paid. When you are paying 100s - you expect high quality food. Our apartment was lovely but VERY hot. I couldn’t sleep due to being so warm. I would suggest fans being available in the room and better quality food. Staff were excellent. I would visit again, but not at that price .
Holly M — Google review
Enjoyed by the stay but it’s not exclusive. Spa was always busy, it felt ‘tired and over used’ and heat experience felt dirty with tiles and grout with mould or peeling. Treatment however were excellent. Bistro lacks menu diversity but ok for 2 days (just) staff varied and dont appear highly trained. Apartments are cool, We had issues that had to be asked twice to rectify with cleanliness of toilets and kitchen on arrival but duty manager did address promptly. It’s just not 5 star exclusive !!

Had a great overnight stay recently., with 2 spa treatments. The treatments were excellent and the food/drink were if a very high standard. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The only negative I can think of is that a couple of kitchen cupboard doors in our apartment could do with updating. Would recommend 😊

I've been a few times with friends and have always enjoyed my stay though prices have risen over the years and it's now definitely more of a treat than it used to be. The rooms are lovely and we enjoyed access to the spa though it was pretty busy on the weekend we visited.

Great time had at the twilight eve Titanic spa. Service good. Location good, except for a road closure that happened whilst we were in, and could not get out/around it.. May have been useful to advise customers of this?! Overall a really lovely evening with my mother. Spa facilities good.... Perhaps looking a tiny bit tired, but didn't spoil the enjoyment at all. Shibden Hall is a historic timber-framed manor with well-preserved period rooms, restored gardens, and various attractions such as a mini-railway and a boating lake. Originally built in the medieval era, the hall underwent several renovations, resulting in its impressive Tudor timber-framed facade. The Lister family, who owned the estate for three centuries, left their mark by adding a Gothic tower housing a library and designing the surrounding park with terraced formal gardens and waterfalls.
What a fantastic place!! Absolutely loved looking round, especially after watching Gentleman Jack, which was filmed there. So much care and attention has gone into the upkeep of the house and gardens, which was a pleasure to see. Lots of really interesting and useful information all round the house. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and they have an incredible gift shop! Such fantastic value for money all round. A very special place to visit.
Fiona B — Google review
We enjoyed our visit to Shibden Hall. It's only a small house but is full of atmosphere. It probably took a little less than an hour to go round thoroughly. The staff were very pleasant without being in your face. Lots of information about the Hall. And, although I enjoy the story around Ann Lister, it isn't all about her. There's a lovely set up round the back of the house with some beautiful old carriages. The out buildings are set up like an apothecary, a small house, coopers, blacksmiths etc. It costs £10 for adults or £7.50 for concessions (might have had child prices too but I can't remember ). There is a small shop at the end that sells the usual novelties plus coffees and teas. I didn't see any cakes or other food on offer but there's a nice room to sit at tables and enjoy your drinks. It was a wet Thursday afternoon at the beginning of June so maybe they offer more in high season. I don't know. At the bottom of the hill, near the pond and the bottom car park, there is a very large cafe selling drinks, cakes, lunches etc. Unfortunately we had parked at the top car park. Although this is nearer to the Hall itself, it is almost half a mile downhill to the cafe from there - and uphill all the way back!!! There is disabled parking near to the house. The grounds are pleasant and there are some good footpaths marked.

Oh my god this place is incredible! My friend is a huge fan of the show Gentleman Jack and when she was visiting the UK this is the main place she wanted to visit! I'm so glad and so grateful that I was able to visit here! We spent from 11am until 2pm exploring! And we could've spent an hour longer but had to leave due to our train times. The place is incredible but please do be aware that if you're planning on walking (like my friend and I did) it is entirely uphill! Literally all of it 😂 and then going back is all downhill! Now I'm not a hiker and I've always wanted to hike but I was seriously not prepared 😅. However that being said, it was absolutely worth the trek and id love to go again (with more comfy shoes)! Highly recommend if you're a fan of Anne Lister, Gentleman Jack or just historic houses!

Absolutely amazing and fascinating period house just on the outskirts of Halifax. Spent a good few hours there but sure i didn't see everything. The house itself is truly incredible as are the staff and volunteers who make any visit a pleasure they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the Lister family and the history of the house. Small cafe serves excellent coffee. The outbuildings are a museum in itself and definitely worth visiting. The gardens and lake offers lots of walks and stunning views of the house.

Unbelievable treasure trove of history. I only wish the tower had been open. I visited as a Brontë fan, but I'd also seen the show/ knew a little of Anne Lister. Fascinating history if morally questionable individual considering her string of partners and their numerous eventual declines to the asylum..! I couldn't believe I was witnessing items (note the plural) as old as 1500, let alone beholding them in their impressively preserved conditions. The Red Room was of special interest to me as a Brontë fan. It was magnificently eerie and Gothic. It was also fun to sit through a thunderstorm on the sill of an ancient window. Worth a visit to anyone interested in history. Also loved learning of John Lister who first deciphered Anne's diaries but kept them private, most likely out of respect, until they were found after his death. He was the founder of the Halifax Labour union, and the first treasurer of the Labour party. A socialist. Good man.

We were a small group of friends- some hadn’t seen Gentleman Jack but were still pleased to visit. I’d loved the drama and characterised by actors I respect but it was great to see the actual place Anne Lister lived. The house is a real treasure for Halifax and the North. It’s well preserved with good interested volunteers who add to the atmosphere. So knowledgeable- do engage them and learn about Anne, her ancestors and watch the 20 minute video too. We went on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy with quite a few folk like us enquiring about Anne and the family and how the house was affected by the drama as crowds then wanted to visit. Read the information boards, spend time and admire the amazing Anne Lister who was such an adventurous person. We went from the house to the cafe in the park a good walk there and an even greater uphill walk back to the house and the car park. The park looked nice in the sunshine.

Absolutely wonderful place to visit! Myself and my partner are big Anne Lister and Gentleman Jack fans. To go and view Shibden Hall was an absolute dream. The staff were so friendly and helpful, offering loads of information about the estate. As we visited around Halloween, there was a spooky puzzle to crack the code which was an extra bit of added fun. The house was in immaculate condition with so much information to read. There was a diary in Anne’s bedroom to write an entry in, it was lovely to see other peoples’ messages too. I would love to come back in another season to see how the grounds change. An absolute must-visit!

Shibden Hall was gifted to Calderdale council in the first half of the twentieth century. It is a remarkable building, well preserved though heavily modified through its life. Made globally famous by 'Gentleman Jack' but there is much more to learn. I have known Shibden for more than fifty years, having visited from a very early age. The folk museum was created in the fifties and is of its time, don't expect Beamish or you will be dissapointed. Access to the hall is best gained by parking in the upper carpark, not directly accesible from the main park, although you can walk up. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and as you may infer I have a nostalgic attachment to the place. I only marked 4 stars as I feel the folk museum is a little tired and ripe for developement. If this review has been helpful, please consider following me to see more. Thank you

Shibden Park, located in West Yorkshire, is a picturesque and historically significant destination. The park features lush green spaces, vibrant floral displays, and serene lakes. Visitors can explore the iconic Shibden Hall, a historic house dating back to 1420. The park offers engaging activities such as boating on the lake, riding a miniature train, and enjoying the kids' play area. It's also dog-friendly, making it an ideal spot for families and nature enthusiasts alike.
Absolutely beautiful building with such a rich history. Most know that the most famous owner was Ann Lister but the building is very old and has some fabulous examples of medieval architecture. Well worth a visit a true gem. We did a guided tour which was so informative and the guides were brilliant. The grounds are immaculate and the park is full of things to do and see. If you haven't been to Shibden you are missing out.

Visited the park after our visit to the hall. It was a hot day and it was great seeing so many families enjoying the park. Picnics and boats on the lake it was fantastic. We stayed at the park for the rest of the day. Spoke to so many lovely people. The park was clean and well maintained. Dog friendly. Cafe, ice cream, playground, it has everything you need for a great day out. It was great seeing the boats on the lake. Shame the little railway was closed. Highly recommend 👌

Shibden hall and park are amazing! The house itself is simply stunning. This is a Tudor house full of wonderful low beams and beautifully maintained wood work. The history of the house is full of interesting stories too. It's definitely a must visit place.

A lovely park with loads of space, decent paths, and an old house to visit (you have to pay to go in the house). The carparks are also pay and display here, but there's plenty of space in them. We just called here for a short walk this time, but previously, we've been on the water in a boat. There's a cafe here, however, we didn't visit it. The pond is big and you can walk around it. There's lots of woodland about and the park links well to public footpaths in the area. We didn't visit the house as it was £10 per adult to enter, but we did have a walk around the outside of it. There's also free toilets (by the house and by the kids play park). Loads of space for picnics and for dog walking. A very child friendly place with toilets, parks and lots of grass.

A dog walkers guide to Shibden. Shibden is one of those places where your dog instantly thinks they’ve won the jackpot. The whole estate feels like a patchwork quilt of woods, water, lawns, and history, stitched together with paths that tempt you to wander a bit farther every time. • Miles of varied paths Woodland trails, open spaces by the lake that stretch over acres, quiet shaded corners, and typical Calderdale uphill bits to wear out the zoomies. Every walk can feel different. • Lots of sniffing zones Between the old stone walls, crunchy leaves, worn wooden benches and the scent soaked undergrowth, dogs basically enter smell Olympics mode. • Friendly dog-walking crowds Most people you meet there have dogs and are relaxed, polite, and used to the occasional enthusiastic greetings from other four legged floofs. Things to Keep in Mind • Busy at peak times Sunny weekends and school holidays can make the main paths feel like the M62 of prams, scooters, and excited kids. Stick to the woodland paths for calmer vibes. • Wildlife and water temptations Squirrels, ducks, geese, and the lake itself can trigger sudden “I’m a wild wolf” moments. It’s all manageable, just stay alert. • Café and playground areas Dogs are allowed around the main areas of the estate and should always be kept on their leads. Refreshingly dogs are now welcome in the inside of the cafe, sandwiches dropped by toddlers are apparently irresistible dog treats! 🤣 The playground is currently under reconstruction but the area has always been a dog free zone and I would imagine that this would be continued after the new and improved facilities open. Overall, Shibden is a place where history hums in the background, trees whisper over old stone, and dogs look like they’re starring in their own BBC nature documentary. Genuinely one of Halifax’s gems. It’s safe, stunning, sniff-rich, and endlessly explorable. Perfect for everything from short morning trots to long weekend rambles.

Fabulous place to visit, Anne Lister aka Gentlemen Jack. Lovely Tudor house which Anne Lister renovated while she lived there. Some costumes from the TV series are displayed in the rooms. Great value for money. Cafe, gift shop, ample parking if you don't mind a walk, limited parking closer to the house.

Bankfield Museum, situated in Boothtown, Halifax, England, is a captivating Grade II listed historic house museum that was once the residence of Colonel Edward Akroyd. The museum boasts permanent displays of costume and textiles alongside temporary exhibitions. It houses an extensive and varied collection including military equipment from Halifax's Duke of Wellingtons Regiment, toys, Egyptian antiquities, sculpture, Japanese armor, paintings, jewelry and local ephemera.
Visited today for the 1940s weekend. Well done guys, it was brilliant. The museum alone houses some fantastic collections. Free entry, donations welcome. Tea room, small gift shop and toilets.

A lovely museum with an unexpected Fashion through the ages with The Costume Drama Display. Loved that they tied it in with Yorkshire, including Mr. Darcy’s shirt. Liked the Halifax room with the sweets and cat’s eyes etc. I think it was also a great idea to have all the feature display cases in the main room. Enjoyed the militaristic rooms too. To say it is a free local museum, it’s one of the best small local museums I’ve been in. Staff were also friendly and happy to chat about the displays. There is a good amount of parking spots and also a small cafe that serves tea and coffee and snacks. Now we just need to work on the #sconeAsInGone!

Well worth the steady climb up the hills going out of Halifax! This is a large and ornate house set in beautiful grounds. The entrance is spectacular with beautiful decorated ceiling and walls surrounding the sweeping stairwell. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. There are many sections including a really wonderful display of costumes used in such dramas as Emma, Bridgerton, Downton Abbey and Victoria. The section dedicated to the Yorkshire regiments is very informative and moving as is the section exploring death and mourning. Some sections are closed or will be closed to enable repairs to the roof but there is still so much to see. When visiting remember to look upas each room has the most ornate ceiling embellishments. Good toilets and there’s also a cafe. I will definitely revisit when back in Halifax.

A delightful visit to Bankfield Museum. During a day trip to Halifax, my daughter suggested we visit Bankfield Museum, and it turned out to be an absolute gem! We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our visit. The highlight for us was the stunning display of Chris Mould's art—truly captivating. We also loved the fascinating exhibits on the Brontë sisters, Ted Hughes, and the history of the Duke of Wellington's regiment. The smaller displays showcasing Halifax’s local history were equally engaging. I even learned that both Quality Street chocolates and the inventor of Cats Eyes originated from this area—what a fun discovery! The museum itself is spacious, well-laid out, and easy to explore at your own pace. Unfortunately, the fashion section was closed for refurbishment, which was a slight disappointment for my daughter. As for me… I can’t say I missed it too much 😁 Overall, Bankfield Museum is a wonderful place to visit, packed with history and charm. Well done to the team for creating such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Located in a 19th-century weaving mill, Calderdale Industrial Museum is a family-friendly regional-history museum that offers insight into the town's engineering feats during the Industrial Revolution. The museum showcases original machines and rare artifacts related to Calderdale's industrial heritage. Run entirely by volunteers, it opens on Saturdays and features both static and fully working machines. Visitors can witness demonstrations of fascinating machinery, including the Quality Street wrapping machine and looms.
AMAZING PLACE if old machines and industrial revolution are your things. The collection is huge, and the volunteers are amazing. They help you a lot and really know about all the item there. This museum deserves a lot more reviews.

What a wonderful place to visit! My 15-year-old son and I visited today (10/04/25) The volunteers were so knowledgeable, so helpful and it was so lovely to be shown around and to tell us what things did, and how things worked. We would recommend this museum for all ages. There is a café, which we didn't have time to go to this time, but hopefully in the future, the menu looked lovely and good pricing too. What a lovely morning we had. Thank you all so much xxx

We were very lucky to have one of the museum volunteers ( Matthew) take us on a tour of the museum. It was a very interesting place to visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour. It was lovely to meet a number of the volunteers who were very friendly and as well as happy to share their knowledge, enthused us with their passion for the museum and exhibits. We spent around 3 hours there, as there is a lot to see. Interesting to see how this all links with Manchester too Thank you . It was a great place to visit

I myself recently visited the one & only historically captivating, most insightfully uplifting calderdale industrial museum (with my P.A.), from the moment we arrived... and set foot within said museum in halifax out there... It felt like going back through time as walked up every floor, checking out each & every display of whom the calderdale industrial museum has to offer, It's the very first time visiting this captivating museum 'in-person' and my P.A's first visit as well... I also recommend this imposing museum to all with more than an interest in the history of halifax, the calder valley, and their industrial pasts through time, I'm also impressed with the fine range of displayed vintage old washer machines, tumble-dryers and other bathroom/kitchen machinery in-between, Also impressed by the quentessential quality street display - showcasing the history in quality street chocolates past & present, especially the recreated colourful wrappings & other wrappages too... not to mention the volunteer-run machinery below ground of whom under the main floor of the museum as well... the calderdale industrial museum is certainly - most definitely a one-of-a-kind museum next door to the nearby piece hall. I look forward to hopefully return/revisit this historically captivating museum of industrial history to behold, one day. Tip-TOP 60 out of 60.

Such a lovely museum with the most friendly and welcoming volunteers. They were so lovely with my young children and tried their best to help them engage with the exhibits. The museum is absolutely fabulous and one of my all time favourite museums to visit now, I will definitely be revisiting,l. The volunteers are all incredible and offer lots of local information and demonstrations, we spent nearly 3 hours here and could have spent longer. We visited the cafe and it is reasonably priced and freshly made, you can visit the cafe without visiting the museum and it's right next door to the piece hall. Highly recommend, the staff are really passionate, it's a great place.

Customer service below zero. I tried to book my son’s birthday party. 15 minutes waiting on the phone, a woman picked up laughing, giggling with her colleagues while I tried to explain what I wanted. After the 5th “sorry I don’t understand you” I said goodbye to her. It was ridiculous and disappointing. I made the booking somewhere else.

Went to Kal spen valley leisure centre 27/8/25 with 6yr old daughter for an immerse session. Car park was full, apparently theres a sign hidden behind overgrown bushes directing to an overflow carpark? Only one pool open, only one of the inflatable runs was on and that didnt have the slide on. During school holidays this should be fully functioning for the kids. Felt we paid full price & only 50% of the advertised activities were open. We should of been made aware at booking point to give us choice, but wasn't. Daughter wanted to buy a toy afterwards, staff had no change. We used to come frequently & it was great fun, but latley the management of this is poor and we won't be returning.

Sat in The Snack Shack enjoying my 2nd full English breakfast of the week. £7 foe 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 egg, hash brown, 2 slices of toast, beans tomatoes and a tea or coffee. £7 yes £7, you can't beat it for a price like that. A nice steady stream of customers coming to the counter during my visit. The market itself was reasonably full with customers looking at a wide range of stalls. The only shock was finding out the whole market is planned for closure in a years time. What are the owners/council thinking about??? Markets are the hub of the High Street up and down the country. They bring customers into the area which in turn helps other businesses around it. If you visit soon make sure you sign the petition to keep it open, I was working in Huddersfield for the week I actually live in Sheffield. If I return next year hopefully it will still be open and I can enjoy a fair priced full English once again at The Snack Shack.

It's home to the striking Cloth Hall Shelter, this being the entrance and clock tower from the old Cloth Hall, moved here from Huddersfield town centre after the Cloth Hall was demolished in 1929/30. There is ample free parking on site. The museum serves refreshments, with outside seating. The Tolson Museum is also worth a visit; entry is free.

A nice park for dog walking, however it’s starting to look run down, sadly like many places in Kirklees. The railings have been crudely removed and weeds are overgrowing the memorial park, buildings looking dilapidated. It’s a shame to see it go this way

Welcome to Huddersfield. This is a lovely park with beautiful garden, green field, and playground next to Tolson Museum. If this place is managed even better, it may attract people to come enjoying the facilities provided. This place is perfect and nice on spring or summer to enjoy the sun.

It’s got an okay little kids playground, it’s shame it hasn’t got more too it. Free parking, and the museum is good but it’s only open a few hours a week.

It’s very nice when there’s something on like Raven’s no gala of the circus but when the fair is there it’s miles to dear and when it’s vacant there’s nothing with dog mess everywhere disgusting 🤮

Had one of my cross stitch creations framed. Lots of help and guidance choosing frames, to mount or not to mount etc. Great Service, being able to complete before Christmas. The recipients of this gift are thrilled. It looks absolutely amazing, thank you so much. 🫶

Fantastic art shop and framers. Excellent customer service as usual and superb advice. Prints always come back expertly framed, and I’ve had 5 prints framed with them in different styles.

We came here to see the exhibition by local artist, Roger Davies. We received a very warm welcome and met the artist and discussed his artwork. We bought a print featuring the Victoria Tower at Castle Hill. We noticed that the gallery also had 4 originals of one of our favourite landscape artists, Allan Morgan. Would recommend visiting if you enjoy artwork. Picture framing available.

Scenic Railroads
Whistlestop Valley, formerly known as the Kirklees Light Railway, is a charming destination nestled in the Pennine foothills. Visitors can enjoy scenic steam-train rides and explore various attractions such as outdoor playgrounds, a jumping pillow, and an indoor toy area. The site also features The Firebox cafe, The Clayton Flyer miniature ride-on railway, and The Turntable dessert cream parlour.
This was a fun attraction to visit, with a small gauge railway running on a return leg! The steam train is lovely and carriages had seating differing from regular trains, albeit not cramped. Small station at the end is fun to wander around with its turntable at the end and as an adult, I did not enter the playground obviously but the effort into the design of the play train is admirable! Mini railway is a blast itself that even features tiny bridges, the waiting room is chill with posters related to the railway.

Amazing fun day out with the kids. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. We spent around 4 hours with 2 kids and took a ride to Shelly and back. Train goes through a tunnel which feels cold but only for a short while. Definitely recommended on a warm day. Tickets are a little pricey.
AbuAadam — Google review
Lovely place well worth a visit we took our grandchildren we all had a great day. Once you have paid the admission fee there are no further charges. Lovely countryside views if you take the 20 minute train ride on the miniature steam train. Every area is well maintained and well designed. Large carpark no parking fees. Plenty of picnic areas or a cafe if you prefer.

This was a great family fun day out, fairly priced and some fun activities for children of all ages, the crazy golf course was easily accessible and included within the price of park entry, friendly staff. The only downside would be that there was only 2 magnets to choose from which weren't really relevant to the park. Would recommend more magnets with the parks name on.

Fabulous day spent at the Thomas & Friends event today. The kids were entertained for hours. Special shout out to the children’s entertainer Spike Bonzo and the fabulous Sir Topham Hatt & Rusty/Dusty! Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for picnic and play. Friendly staff and clean toilets. We will be back!

Had such an amazing full day out at Whistlestop Valley today! It's exceptional value for money and offers so much choice of entertainment for all ages. The rides and outdoor play areas are beautifully kept and we even had a themed search for the hidden "seagulls" which the Grandchildren loved and won a prize at the end. The restaurants offer great choice of food for both children and adults alike. The train journey to Shelly is an amazing journey passing through beautiful countryside along the way. We were so lucky to catch the Punch & Judy show performed by Spike, the children's entertainer. He was brilliant. Our Grandchildren simply loved him! ❤️ An ice cream and coffee topped of the trip served to us by a lovely young lady. Cannot praise this place enough, today was loved by all age groups. A special mention to Isabelle who ran the children's roundabout, she was such a incredible person to meet, her passion and jubilant nature shone out to give the children and parents an enjoyable experience to remember. To be honest all the staff from reception, restaurant and all who were operating the entertainment are a credit to the place. We have been many times before and will definitely be returning soon.
David — Google review
We went (two adults and two children) and spent five hours here. To be honest we easily could have spent longer! It’s really good for the price and you can take your own picnics- however the cafe has lots of offer and reasonable prices. They also offer blue light discount for adult tickets. Lots to do- sit on train ride, peddle cars, bounce pillow, mini golf, park and little carousel style ride- all included in the ticket price. I would say it’s best for 3/4 years old to about 9 years old. (We went with a 3 year old and 5 year old).

Boat tour agency
Visitor Centers
Standedge Tunnel & Visitor Centre, Britain's longest canal tunnel built in 1811, offers guided boat trips that showcase its engineering marvels and rich history. The center also features a cafe and exhibition for visitors to enjoy. The Middleton Railway at the site has achieved Accreditation status from the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, demonstrating national standards in governance, management, user services, visitor facilities, and collections management.
I visited on Friday 27th September 2024, having driven up the night before and stayed at a nearby B&B. Parking at the nearby Marsden Station was free but appeared limited to about 5 bays. No nearer publicly accessible parking was available apart from disabled parking. As it is, it's a 15-minute walk to the Tunnel and Cafe, along the well-signposted canal towpath. As listed elsewhere the Visitor Centre has been converted into a music venue, but the cafe has been taken over by the volunteers who run the canal tunnel boat trips after the previous leaseholders closed the business. I booked my tunnel trip in advance on the website which is a good idea as it lets the volunteers know that there is a paying customer on a scheduled service. As it was there were only 5 of us on the trip but that just meant we had more room to move about. The 2 volunteers who provided commentary during the short incursion into the initial parts of the tunnel (it was three miles long and would take 2 hours to get to the other end) were excellent and the only strange aspect was that you were not allowed to video the trip, but it isn't stated why. The cafe was open and staffed by other volunteers and was excellent. It's worth a visit at any time. I also purchased a lovely quirky bird box made of a teapot made by one of our trip guides (Stuart).
Jeffrey S — Google review
Stuart the boat guide was excellent. Very funny and really interesting to young and old. Had so much knowledge of the tunnel the guided tour was entertaining from start to finish. £10 for kids and £12 for adults seems a bit steep but I thought it was worth the experience if you’ve never been before. I think the tunnel tours and the marsden to Standedge is run by volunteers which makes it all better as they’re enthusiastic and committed to making your visit the best it can be. Thanks for a fantastic day out guys. I would definitely recommend to people
Gav C — Google review
I did the full tunnel trip, what an amazing experience. They run this trip 5 or 6 times a year. All the staff are volunteers but they are all very knowledgeable and friendly. The cafe at the marsden end opened up before the start of the trip, again run by volunteers, again very friendly and great value. The trip takes about 2 hours, it a great experience as long as you do not suffer from claustrophobia, I would really recommend it

Nice place, new little music repair centre in the building and a nice little bar. Great out side seating.

Visited a couple of times, most recently with three little ones aged two, six and eight. Lovely walk from Marsden, sadly day we visited there was a wedding in the old museum, and so there was not boat ride which the little ones were looking forward too. The visitor centre itself could do with a bit of refresh, as feels rather spooky and tired, and a bit of a dumping ground. Cafe is nice, and sitting outside next to the canal is lovely. The play area is great, and well maintained.
Caroline D — Google review
We had a great afternoon at Standedge Tunnel. First we took a barge ride into the tunnel (wrap up warm it's chilly in there). The guide was really knowledgeable explaining the history of the tunnel and making it fun for the younger ones. Afterwards we enjoyed coffee and cake from the lovely little cafe then went round the museum where there were activities to do. There is a park to entertain the kids and a fantastic walk for everyone to enjoy

Walked along the canal from Marsden train station. Lovely café, ukulele band and pirate themed day for bank holiday weekend. Cafe very reasonably priced.

Very knowledgeable volunteers and fascinating tunnel and history. Will return next year to do entire length and enjoy the fabulous walks. Easy to park and find the place after an enjoyable walk along the old towpath.

Rescue Rooms is a popular 450-capacity live music venue and nightclub in Nottingham, known for hosting intimate live performances by renowned artists such as The Killers, Stormzy, and London Grammar. In addition to its music space, the venue features a stylish bar with comfortable Chesterfield-style seating and a welcoming patio. The establishment offers daily happy hour specials and hosts themed club nights like Pressure Tuesdays and Stealth v Rescued Saturdays, which are particularly popular among students.
I love music, but I don't necessarily go to see the big big bands play. I like discovering new bands that have a small following where it is easy to meet the band after. I have had some amazing experiences here, although with my anxiety I normally mix my word and make a fool of myself often but I have never felt uncomfortable doing so here. Again with my anxiety I don't like big crowds of people around me but with this venue I have been able to get in early enough to be at the front of the que. Unless the bands have VIP access which always go through first I would always find myself at the front. This helps so I only focus on the band in front and not the fact that there's a lot of people behind me. The staff are friendly, they have a selection of alcohol free drinks but they don't do food. Not even crisps but they don't mind if you nip to the shop and bring food into the patio area.

This is a great little venue within a bar next door to Rock City. It was a fair size inside for a good crowd, there is space for merchant sales and a fully stocked bar. There is an outdoor area for smokers and those wanting to relax outside which is really nicely set out too. I'm really looking forward to coming back next month for another gig!
Penny G — Google review
Went to a gig there and really liked it. Not a huge venue space, but definitely a good atmosphere. Good for up & coming bands and artists. Bar inside the venue room. There are 2 outdoor patio areas. There is a normal bar with a good variety of drinks, seating and friendly staff. Some nights, there is a quiz or a dj. Check it out.

Been coming to Rescue Rooms since I was about 14 (30 now!) Always had a great time, and staff have always been friendly and helpful. After becoming disabled they've also been really good with access needs, and it was super easy to get an essential companion ticket sorted out. Most recently came on September 17th 2025 to see Crawlers and they were amazing too!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited for the CKY show on the 9th of November and honestly… Rescue Rooms Nottingham is hands down the most accessible, friendly and accommodating venue I’ve ever been to as a wheelchair user. They let me sit safely at the barrier (which NEVER happens anywhere else) and every single member of staff I interacted with was kind, genuine and actually happy to help. None of that fake customer-service smile. The kind where the eyes go dead. Nah. These people smile with their eyes AND their souls. Special shout-out to the security guy on stage right. I asked his name and immediately forgot because my brain is basically a sieve… but he had light hair and might have been called Kyle. Then again I could be absolutely wrong. I usually am 😂. Whoever he was, he was the kindest, most respectful security person I’ve ever met at a gig. Even though I’m from Scotland and getting to Nottingham is a full mission, I’d 100 percent come back. Not even just for the band. But because this venue genuinely cares about accessibility and safety. Keep up the amazing work 👏 We notice the difference when people’s smiles meet their eyes and your staff really do smile. Xoxo

Fabulous venue. Central location near a plethora of places for pre-concert meals and drinks. We stayed at The Crowne Plaza just a very short walk away. Great acoustics with a real intimate feel. Heard every lyric for Crash Test Dummies. The balcony area was a life saver with a place to place beer and lean a bit! Good on-site bar with reasonable prices.

Despite being a visitor to the John Smith's a number of times before yesterday this was my first time taking my 5 year old son and just would like to say well done to HTAFC. Firstly discounted tickets meant we could try the experience for £15 for the pair of us so I knew we weren't restricted leaving when he had enough. Secondly after letting the club know it was his first game (with less than 24 hours notice!) he got a little bag of things. When they also learnt he has sensory issues they gave advice and a match day number to call if there were any issues. Then finally although he didn't really make use of them lots of things including meeting players, games etc before the game. We only made it to half time but the experience was anything but negative so hopefully in time we can try again (although expectations maybe unrealistic having so many goals!)

Went to stereophonics here in June 2025. Lots of staff and safety stewards about. Decent venue for a concert. Lots of steps inside, very limited disabled access and some very narrow areas (appreciate this is not a specific concert venue) Queuing for toilets, drinks and food at times out of control. Took ages to get out of as very congested upon concert finishing and getting back to the main road. Parking at off site attached venue needs to be pre booked, limited disabled parking available.

East to park nearby or up the road. Really great facility, accessible ramps to entrance. Bar and food inside were good. Lots of toilets. Pitch really good and the away stand had a good view. Bit crammed up on exiting and mix of away and home fans. Staff really professional and helpful. CTID.

Decent ground easy to get to, plenty of parking options nearby. Served fairly quickly inside despite big queues. Food is just general football stadium food nothing special. Good atmosphere inside. No restricted views

I visited here for a game of rugby league. The stadium itself is very impressive with approximate capacity around 25,000. Sadly for this event there were less than 5,000. A fantastic sporting event that was a little spoilt by the lack of atmosphere created by the home supporters. If it weren't for the away support this would be a 1*
Adrian W — Google review
Here for Muse. Beautiful venue in a lovely location. Very well organised to handle big crowds and yes, a little slow leaving, but 24,000 people were all heading towards town, so it is what it is. No parking issues as I stayed in Leeds and caught the train. Well worth the trip. 5 minutes walk from the station. I would come here again for a concert.
Danny H — Google review
Easy to find street parking. Very friendly locals. The stadium is starting to look a bit tired, toilets and food outlets far to small and becomes a tight squeeze. The view for the match was very good and another victory for the Sky Blues

Nice place for babies and todlers in Huddersfield centre. Facility is good. Staffs are always friendly and warm-hearted welcome. Cafe is good, I love luxury hot chocolate here. I always order drinks because my young baby get free to come 😝 Just one thing needed to improve is the hygiene is not cleaned well enough. Just make sure you wipe and clean toys usually.

Took my little one here on Monday and it we both had a lovely time! Lots of fun bits to explore and great exercise for the adults 😂 Outdoor area was lovely and clean. Very accommodating to dietary needs too! Staff were, warm and welcoming. Indoors had a distinctive smell - not sure whether it was because it had rained and and so you could smell soggy clothes? Also the balls in the ball pit were a bit sticky which was a little off putting. Overall I’d come again. £2.85 was a bargain price and with so much to do my little one was well entertained. Thank you!

I enjoy this play gym, its extremely reasonable and I appreciate that i don't have to pay for my 2 month old baby to attend (as some play gyms do charge for babys even though he doesn't go in yet of course). My daughter loves it and its nice they also have an outdoor area. My only problem, and I find this is a common theme across play gyms, certainly not just Fizzy Lizards, is the food. Why must it always be absolutely full of junk food?! Why can I not buy a piece of fruit or a healthy snack bar???? It infuriates me that I have to take my kids to these places and see the only options are chocolate bars, crisps, sweets, gingerbread men etc etc. Its not good enough, we dont need to encourage our children to eat like this all the time.

Great venue for parties. The staff are friendly and run it well. The play area is great during the week too. Not to pricey when it comes to entry, food and drink. Had a party at here recently. The staff were amazing. The food went down well with the children. The adults seemed happy watching them play. The pass the parcel game at the end made the party. Everyone had a sweet. They all left tired after playing. This is a top venue for party's. I will definitely return. The price for food, drinks, party items is worth spending. Thanks to the staff at magical forest.

DO NOT BOOK BIRTHDAY PARTY i booked my daughters birthday here and the party in general was fun and enjoyed by all the children but honestly it was really poor for the price i paid. The food was more like snack finger foods. Elsa was just ridiculous if not for the laughs the adults had then £30 for this appearance was appalling as she just stood akwardly for about 15 minutes painted a few kids nails and left. Glitter hair spray was just slapped on. Snow machine was fun for the whole 5 minutes it was on before the floor and kids was soaked slippy and becoming dangerous, wasn't worth £5. There was no warning for the dj doing happy birthday which took away from the special moment. Pass the parcel was just a few sweets. The princess theme was pointless. Party bags were absolutely rubbish. What cost me £289 will of cost them less than £50 in total without a doubt. So to be blunt it was an absolute rip off and i would recommend taking your money elsewhere as the quality and set up was not nearly worth the money paid. The only pro was the friendly staff

Had my Sons 2nd birthday party here privately hired for £180 as the play gym is nice and big enough for 20 kids. Staff was extremely rude to child's parent in front of guests. Tutted sighed and said they where too busy to serve food then threw a menu at her after she pointed out it was only afew minutes ago I had ordered a pannini and abit of toast isnt asking too much. Apparently they where sorry to be stressed and they had lots of washing up to do?! Not really customers fault? The cake came out and had been damaged and pieces of chocolate thrown back on top of it. I couldn't fix it up with my dirty fingers so had to accept it for what it was since they where stood around singing happy birthday. Parents who where denied ordering food, would snack on the left over kids party food which the staff seemed annoyed about. some of the vegetarian kids hadn't got their food as they all just picked up what they saw with it being so unorganised. The manager then was demanding payment in cash. I said I'd already paid online. Apparently she couldn't find it or didn't believe me so whilst I was wiping up orange juice off my child and the table I had to log in to the bank to show her my payment!! The mood was à little dim by then with parents discussing how rude staff was. They did some free bubbles and foam dancing the kids enjoyed. I was given a free return voucher which I wont be using. Wouldn't recommend using for a special celebration unless they sell this place to someone who can run it properly.

Children's amusement center
Leisure center
Located in Nottingham, Planet Bounce Inflatable Park offers a space-themed indoor amusement center with various inflatable terrains, ball pits, and climbing walls. Visitors can enjoy wall-to-wall bouncing fun, play dodgeball, dive into ball pits, engage in trampoline volleyball and basketball hoops, balance on the wobble bed, tackle climbing walls, and navigate obstacle courses. The park is suitable for all ages and makes for an energetic date idea or a fun-filled family day out.
Nice & clean kids absolutely loved running around having fun. Nice set up my advice is purchase for a 2hour session as 1hour goes by way to fast. Food & drinks available. You can also book ahead of time & registration can be done online before arrival to avoid any long queues.

Horrible customer service. Had to explain that some people have a child that is 5 and under and another child over 5 but they said they are not allowed on together during the under 5s. Staff then argued with me for even going down to supervise my under 5 even though I didn't even go on (and despite seeing several children on between 5-12). Will never come back or allow my kids to go to parties here since staff think its appropriate to publicly argue with parents at kids parties. Better off going to trampoline parks which understand parenting.

Doesn't make you aware there is no lift access currently. Had to carry a double pram with my newborn baby whilst being disabled myself up a steep flight of stairs. No way to get pram through seating area as tables and chairs scattered everywhere not very fire safe. Arrived within plenty of time with my kids for their session but there seemed to be no initiative to move the people on from the previous session resulting in it being overcrowded and no seating so I could feed my baby. Really don't recommend at all what a joke

I recently visited this wonderful place with my 6-year-old daughter and her friends, and we had an absolute blast! Booking tickets a day in advance was a smart move, especially considering the holiday crowds. I highly recommend opting for the one-hour booking option as it's not only cost-effective but also perfect considering how quickly kids get tired. The venue is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with lockers available for convenience and a cozy cafe for a quick refreshment break. Pro tip: pre-registering before arrival speeds up the check-in process, saving you valuable playtime. A definite must-visit for parents looking for a fun and safe environment for their little ones!

We have just tried to attend the planet tots session with our children and had to leave because of the awful customer service. I had called last night to enquire as we have 2 children aged 2 and 12, and wanted to ask if the older child could accompany us into the session. On the phone, I was told she could but that he strongly recommended the older session. When we arrived we were told the older girl couldn't go in, and when I said we had checked on the phone, they asked for proof and wanted to take a photo of my phone screen showing the call log. Apparently my word can't be trusted. The man (apparently a manager) we spoke to last night came over and rather than apologise for the confusion started accusing us of deliberately misinterpreting him and telling us we were wrong for not understanding that "yes she can but I recommend the later session" means no she can't come into the tots session with us. After arguing with us (again, the customer service...) he eventually said he'll make an exception this time for us, to which the girls at the desk started arguing with the 'manager' that other people whose older children hadn't been allowed in might complain too. At that point we just left them to argue and went somewhere else. Even if we were in the wrong for not understanding the rules about older siblings (that isn't mentioned on the website), the least I would expect is for a polite refusal, not instigating an argument with us for not understanding that "recommendation" and "no" are apparently the same.

I had took my children there and they enjoyed it very much. Paid online & the price was cheaper than red kangaroo. It is slightly different. Free lockers is also a bonus. Downside: limited food or out of stock. Recommend buying a jug of juice instead of individual drinks.

Great place for kids. I needed something to keep my 5 year old daughter entertained during our time in Nottingham as statues and buildings weren't doing the trick. Silly me, I didn't realize we needed to book online ahead of time, but fortunately the gentleman at the front directed us to the website and we were able to book online without any issues. After that, my daughter had a blast jumping and climbing.
Jonathan L — Google review
It's very large, with lots for the kids to do. Loads of fun for older children. I would say it's not as good for really little kids, because an adult will need to go with them. Pretty expensive too! There's a cafe with drinks and snacks. We parked in the victoria centre nearby.

Heritage Quay is a varied collection of university archives containing materials covering British music, art, politics and other subjects. The museum features a Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre, which serves as a crucial reminder of the atrocities committed by mankind. The staff at Heritage Quay are friendly and accommodating, and the meeting space is excellent. This museum should be visited to experience its archive firsthand.
I often attend lectures tunes at the university, and this was another good lecture. Quite political and informative.

Museum
Holocaust Centre North in Huddersfield is a powerful and moving exhibition that showcases the local stories of survivors and refugees who started new lives in the North of England. The exhibition provides a masterly, compact, and multi-dimensional historical context of the Holocaust, brought to life by vivid memories of living survivors. It serves as an immensely valuable educational tool for teachers and offers a profound and moving experience for visitors.
Everyone visiting Huddersfield should take the time to visit this very moving and informative exhibition. Personal stories of Holocaust survivors with a Yorkshire connection brought to life with artifacts, video and words.

A valuable experience to remind us of the tragedy of the Holocaust. Well thought out, with lots of interactive resources. The guided audio tour is really good too.
Adam W — Google review
One of the most moving exhibitions I've ever been to, focused on personal stories. A must visit.
Martin T — Google review
This is a powerful exhibition. The staff were so helpful. It was designed very thoughtfully and interactive. It is only small but I encourage everyone to go. This danger has not gone away unfortunately....
Peter ( — Google review
A masterly, compact, easy to assimilate, multi dimensional, evidence based exposition of the holocaust in historical context, brought to life by the still vivid memories of a handful of living survivors. Every serious teacher of the holocaust will find it Immensely valuable as an educational tool. Holocaust denyers and doubters should be brought face to face with it, as should mature children. It brings to life with narrative and photographs the evil of the Nazis in murdering 6 million Jews of Europe. This factual presentation is immensely emotional and hard hitting in its impact.
Paul H — Google review
What a profound and moving experience, beautifully and sensitively done, especially the survivor testimonies. Horrible echoes of what’s happening in Ukraine, and wise words for future generations. Go and see it!

Excellent attentive staff, especially the night shift teams! Staff always go out of their way in terms of hospitality and to make sure you enjoy your visit whilst remaining professional but friendly at the same time. Big shout out to Ryan, Mark, Sarah, Ann and the rest of the Cashino team! If staff or the store itself deserves recognition or a reward from head office then it’s definitely the Huddersfield store! Thank you.
