Park
Parco delle Terme di Darfo Boario Terme is a centuries-old park that offers tranquility and natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy pleasant walks, the scent of flowers, and the soothing sounds of local music. The park features various sources where visitors can drink from, as well as artificial lakes that add to its romantic and historical charm. With free entry this year, it's a perfect place for those who appreciate spending time surrounded by evergreen trees and serene surroundings.
Coolest place to Be.

Nice but not so well maintained, pity.

(Translated by Google) The park was a pleasant discovery on a very hot August day. Very large, full of trees, with various children's rides and many benches. Various musical events are also organised. Too bad for the huge amount of mosquitoes and for some parts of the park that are not very well looked after (Original) Il parco è stato una piacevole scoperta in una caldissima giornata di Agosto.

(Translated by Google) Huge park but unfortunately a little shabby! The park is really large and with a lot of potential but really too little looked after. I can imagine that maintaining such a large park is very demanding but it really loses a lot! The presence of many children's games is very positive, my daughter is very grateful 😛!

(Translated by Google) Just arrived from Como for a conference the next day (the conference center is beautiful and functional), I rushed to the thermal park, dreaming of drinking thermal water while wandering around the park. But I found a dirty dome, sections closed and left to themselves, only one fountain open to everyone, a park left in a state of neglect... the spa at the spa with kindergarten-like opening hours... a Ferrarelle vending machine in the Boario park... oh well... and the center with shops and strolling? Where is it? It's not there at all... sorry, but used to Bormio, Abano, and Montegrotto, I expected a town that revolved around the spa... thank goodness at least the food and wine options near the park and the train station are saving you... mayor, think about it!

(Translated by Google) The place and its natural context, among the greenery and with the mountains behind it, would also be very beautiful, but the somewhat disused condition of the ancient buildings makes it seem like a faded memory of the past (and I'm sorry, because However, these structures fascinate me...). It is open for a fee until 4pm, then entry is free. The gardens are quite well-kept, while the historic structures need a lot of revision (seeing some of them surrounded by the red and white tape that delimits the construction sites hurts the heart...). The Adventure Park was abandoned and there is a bit of confusion in the directions (only the directions for the ancient sources are easily understood...). On the other hand, the area used as a dance hall works well, but this is very popular, especially among those who are a little older. Let's hope that things change in the future, the place is very beautiful and has an important history, it deserves to... be resurrected!!!

(Translated by Google) I love going to this centuries-old park for the tranquility that nature offers. Walking through the avenues, drinking from the sources scattered throughout the park, the artificial lakes, a romantic but also a little historical environment. Finally this year open to the public with free entry. I recommend it for those who, like me, love to spend time, when they can, sitting on a bench in the shade of evergreen, centuries-old trees. In my opinion, a big flaw is the lack of parking, even if the town offers various free parking lots in the surrounding area. Beautiful. Always keep it open. I think it will be picturesque even with the snow.

(Translated by Google) "Water of Boario centenary liver", said my grandparents, but also Manzoni, thanks to the particular mineral salts and iron contained in these waters: Antica Fonte, Igea, Fausta and Silia. Charming, retro. A bittersweet look at these sinuous Art Nouveau structures and the centenary park. The mind travels in time. A place full of history and black and white worldliness. An orphan of attention, with enormous potential to be exploited. But even so it is romantic and relaxing.

The Luine Archaeological Park is a fantastic destination for locals seeking a day trip and outdoor adventure. With its stunning aerial city view, this place offers visitors an opportunity to marvel at the beauty of their surroundings. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. However, due to lighting conditions, some drawings on the stones may be difficult to see clearly. It is advisable to check the weather before planning a visit for optimal viewing conditions.
A great place for a day trip and an outdoor activity for people living nearby! Beautiful view of the city from above. The staff lady was so nice. However, I couldn’t see much of the drawing on the stone, I believe it was because of the light. It will be better if you check the weather before you visit :)

The gate to The parc was closed, although The parc was open. The lady who worked there was not friendly and did not speak English... not easy in a touristic place! I had to leave my backpack because I had a Banana with me and picnic is not allowed. The park itself is clean and organised, but The rocks are not that impressive. The ingravings in The rocks are not clear, sometimes you don’t see a thing! The views over The city are Nice... after 45minutes I had seen it all!

Gorzone Castle is a charming historical site that offers a unique and captivating experience. Situated atop a steep, one-lane road, the castle's location adds an element of adventure to the visit. It is advisable not to drive up due to limited parking options, but fear not as there is ample parking available underneath the castle, allowing visitors to enjoy a pleasant 5-minute walk up.

(Translated by Google) Gorzone Castle ..Vicolo della Foresta 8 ...Darfo" Boario Terme ..province of Brescia. It is still open now..and located on a rocky spur and under this rocky spur flows the Dezzo river. Here to visit the castle you must book the guided tour a few days before arrival, this castle is truly beautiful and very interesting in every respect..and it is one of the few castles in Val Camonica still standing and also well maintained . Located in a place, I would dare say, very enchanting and full of charm. The whole structure dates back to 1160...and was owned by the Brusati family...which later became Federici Ghibellini who were allies of Federico Barbarossa. But at the end of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th the fortress and its village were given to Matteo Visconti by the Municipality of Brescia, in the years from 1490 to 1495... the castle was transformed into a noble residence, and an internal Venetian style loggia was built. Inside its village there is an entrance portal, an internal garden, overlooked by the loggia... with arches and large columns enriched with coats of arms, with a well in the center of the park for collecting rainwater. Inside we find... rooms with decorated walls... and high coffered ceilings, all decorated. The whole castle is separated by a beautiful village...of houses all in the district surrounded by a large wall.

Montecchio Bridge, also known as the Roman bridge, is a 24-meter-long National Monument located on the Oglio river. It's a great spot for a bike tour and in summer visitors can even take a dip in the water.
Very cool bridge- only found out about this thru google maps and it was a short stop away from where we were staying! We had to park further down the road and take a short stroll to it in order to take the necessary pictures. It is gorgeous!

A beautiful bridge with stunning views. It’s just a 15-minute walk from the train station.
