The park itself is very nice, a little windy almost always. Parking lot is a disaster. Half of it is invaded by valet. On the weekend when we came just for a while, we realized the paid parking became fixed $20/25? dollars per day. It's crazy! Not everyone comes to the beach/park there for the whole day. There should definitely be more parking for that park+beach. Also today, park ranger/security? said that they don't allow hammocks anymore. Like why??! We used to like the park much for our walks and picnics but looks like we need to search for other parks. It has a nice shaded playground and water splash area next to it.

South Pointe Park is one of the most beautiful spots in Miami Beach. It offers stunning views of the ocean, Fisher Island, and the cruise ships sailing by. There’s also a great pier for fishing or taking photos. A must-visit when in Miami!

Absolutely one of the best spots in all of Miami Beach! South Pointe Park is beautifully maintained with incredible ocean views, wide walking paths, and a relaxed atmosphere. You can watch cruise ships sail by, enjoy the breeze from the pier, or just sit on the grass and people-watch. Great for a morning jog, picnic, or sunset stroll. The playground and splash pad are perfect for kids, and there’s plenty of space for everyone. Every visit feels peaceful and scenic — a true Miami gem!

Get here early, early for $20 all day parking or use public transit or Uber! Must see destination as a tourist! Beautiful location with palms in green grass for a picnic, walkways to Ocean Drive, kid friendly splash pad, outside showers, public restroom and free beach access. Clean sand and beautiful water!

This time I visited during a sunny day with my family, and we had an absolute blast enjoying the open spaces, fresh breeze, and vibrant atmosphere. Upon arriving at South Miami Beach we found ourselves walking at the South Point Park. Was a great day and lots to see.

Our favorite place in Miami. My wife and I walk around this park daily to enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and sea breeze. The park offers a beautiful beach, palm trees, and Art Deco buildings. They highlight the lively and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for people-watching, biking, jogging, and enjoying the Miami vibes. They also have very clean facilities, outdoor workout stations, and plenty of space for picnics and volleyball. Two public restrooms are available. Extremely clean and well maintained. This is a very good area for a family picnic.

Beach was clean . Soft sand beach . Water was clear and perfect temperature. October off peak so it was not crowded. This was off 10th street. I felt safe . I was not looking at my lounge chairs constantly when I was in the water. I was here about 3hr and 90% of it i was in the water.

Working out on the beach has been one of the best experiences for me. The setup with public weights and pull-up bars makes it easy to get a great workout in while enjoying the fresh air and ocean views. The environment is not only comfortable but also very welcoming—everyone around is friendly, motivating and focused on staying active. There’s something special about training in the open air, hearing the waves, and feeling the sun while pushing yourself physically. It’s both energizing and relaxing, and it creates a community-like atmosphere where you can enjoy fitness and good vibes at the same time.

Beautiful beach. Very Caribbean. Palm trees and a lot of green. Unfortunately There were too many algae in decomposed and the smell wasn’t great. Also the water had a lot of sulfur and turn all our silver jewelry black

Beautiful beach, this is my 3rd time coming here. Nice clean sand. Beautiful coconut trees. We went snorkeling off the beach in the grass beds and saw lots of fish. My daughters found big conch shells and a sea urchin shell. You can order food and rent beach chairs with umbrellas but there’s lots of nice spots in the shade. We went at low tide so there was lots of seaweed and it was a bit smelly. But the water was clear and we had a nice time watching the pelicans diving for fish. Nice clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.

My favorite beach in Miami so far. So much space and not crowded whatsoever. The parking lot is ticketed so be sure to pay on the app before you walk to the beach. Super easy to get to from Brickell / Downtown. Mostly locals and chill vibes. There is some seaweed and the water is not perfectly clear, but the water is warm and still enjoyable. If you want to hit a bar on the way home on a weekday, check The Wetlab at UMiami’s marine biology campus on the way back from Key Biscayne. Even on weekends, there are a lot of places to post up. If you don’t want to (pay for/bring) an umbrella, there are trees with shady spots.

I snorkel on the seagrass beds a lot and there are always many fish to see, including small colorful reef fish. plenty of parking, $11 for a whole day ($8 per day weekdays). huge picnic area with trees, promenade, wide white sand beach with palm trees, snack bar, watercraft rentals. Paths around a small park that used to be a zoo, lots of wild birds and reptiles there now. bike lanes all the way there from the mainland. several miles of walking paths through a hammock forest and to a boardwalk overlooking the bay.

Krandon Park in Key Biscayne is a hidden gem! This beautiful park offers stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing day outdoors. There's plenty of parking available for just $10 a day, which you can conveniently pay through a phone app or at the park office (if you can find it — signage could be better). Morningside Park is a peaceful escape with beautiful water views and plenty to do. The park features walking paths, a playground, basketball courts, and kayak rentals. The parks feels well maintained and offers shaded areas for relaxing, making it a great spot for families, exercise, or quiet time outdoors. I came here with my friends and definitely had a good time !

Just moved to Miami and went to check out this park to walk our dog. A lot of it is closed off including most parking due to major construction. Sign indicates expected completion mid 2026. I'm sure it will be really nice once it is completed. Also we saw several people with dogs off-leash so that is a negative. This isn't a dog park and dogs should be leashed.

I just found about one of the nicest parks to come and unwind (or go kayaking). The view is absolutely stunning and in all honesty the pictures can’t really show how beautiful this place is. There are several picnic tables around the park making it the perfect place for an afternoon bbq.

Such a visually beautiful place for a nice walk. Very family oriented park, but also a nice spot for couples to have a waterside picnic. I have not tried the water activities there, but people seem to be enjoying themselves. I simply enjoy it for the beautiful views and catch up on some reading.

It was too windy to go kayaking but nice to walk and see lots of banyan trees. It is gated so we needed to say that we just go to the park to the security guard. Restroom was pretty clean but make sure to bring toilet paper.

Great park it is a 36-acre park including an 8-lane lap swimming pool plus playground, baseball stadium & soccer field. It’s picnic friendly. But obviously you gotta throw your trash on the thrash cans, there are a lot of them, so you gotta be respectful. The swimming pool is just for residents. Also the same for the Tennis court. The baseball field is open to everyone who wants to play, it’s in mint condition but after rainy days maybe will be a little flooded. There are soccer fields. The bathrooms are still closed because of COVID. They should be open... The basketball field is open for everyone just as the gym center.

Flamingo Park is vibrant and lively, featuring a pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, and sports fields. Perfect for fitness, family fun, and community events.

Great park, so beautiful, its a delight, haven't visited in years. Now I see so many improvements and renovations. Dog park, tennis center, water park, kid play area, !! Whole foods is a block away! So green!

Vacant and expansive (wide and clean). One of few people we saw was the life guard in the tower. It was a dark and rainy day. Not a good day for the beach. Still a nice walk through the park.

Steps away from the boardwalk and oceanfront. This is a clean and well shaded public park space. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches to use. Bathroom facilities with outdoor shower units. There's a kids' playground also.

Much better than south beach for the whole family. Quiet and less crowded when I was here last week and has several bbq grills and showers. My boys loved this beach.

Nice park for beach volleyball and pretty beach for lounging, swimming and kite surfing. Was not busy when I was there mid afternoon on Saturday. Otherwise I would have scored higher. Served by Collin’s Ave trolley.

My family and I shared our monthly gathering at North Beach and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a nice Pavilion were we BBQ'd and enjoyed ourselves immensely. From the very young to one of the senior matriarchs, we all enjoyed the new design of the Beach and board walk. We gave already decided to cone back to this family oriented park. There were plenty of families out there and everyone was very kind to one another. The water Beach was clean!! Kudos to the maintenance staff for keeping the grounds clean.

North Shore Open Space Park was originally established in the 1950s when the city purchased and demolished a series of dilapidated villas on the site. It is one of Miami's largest parks, and it runs from 78th Street to 87th Terrace. Over the years, the 28 acre site was left to nature. In 2017 the city approved a 6 million dollar renovation of the park with Calvin, Giordarno & Associates as the project manager and West 8 heading the re-design. The renovation strived to preserve the parks plants, including large palm trees and sea grapes and the parks natural dune ecosystem which protects the park from rising sea levels. The goal was to improve the beauty and functionality of the park. Today you can enjoy enjoy beach access with lifeguards on duty and plenty of room to spread out as you soak up the sun. North Shore Open Space Park also has a outdoor showers, restroom, dog park, picnic tables and grills, sand volley ball court, three pavilions for picnics with grills which can be rented, swings and a play area, and trails with an outdoor fitness challenge course with self-powered workout stations. Parking can be found in the municipal lot across the street on 83rd street and along Harding Ave. I really enjoyed walking the trails in the the park and it is a lot quieter than nearby South Beach which you can reach via an paved 8 mile bike trail.

I absolutely love visiting this park; it’s one of my favorite spots in the city! I come here often with my dog Lala, and she enjoys it so much. They have separate areas for small and large dogs, which is perfect and makes it a safe, fun space for all pets. The park is very complete: there’s an outdoor gym, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a large open field where people play soccer, walk their dogs, or just relax. There are also picnic areas, BBQ grills for family cookouts, and even a kids’ room, making it a great spot for all ages. One of the highlights is the paddleboard area — they have boards available and a perfect setup if you enjoy being on the water. It really adds something special to the experience. To top it off, the park is surrounded by great restaurants like Pinocchio and Pura Vida, making it easy to grab a delicious bite after a fun day outdoors. Highly recommend this place for dog owners, families, or anyone who enjoys nature, sports, and relaxing in a beautiful, well-maintained environment.

Lovely parked in downtown Miami right on the water. Beautiful views with plenty of benches to sit and relax. There is also a kids playground, tennis courts, basketball courts and public bathrooms. There's even a fenced in dog park but also a large open field as well to do what you'd like. Parking is limited to the streets and you will have to pay with an app

Such a good and well preserved park. It is a great place to go with your dogs and just walk or run around. It has an outdoor gym, seats and tennis courts. If you keep walking there’s an Starbucks and pura vida as well to go for your cafecito. The only thing is that is very difficult to find parking, you can preferably go down from staples until you find a parking spot at the street.

Margaret Pace Park is a beautiful waterfront park with stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. It’s perfect for a morning walk, a workout, or just relaxing with friends. I love the calm atmosphere and how clean and well-maintained the park always is.

As parks go, it doesn’t get much better than this. Exercise equipment, beautiful views, not terribly crowded. The maintenance people are diligently out there every day… I think they start before dawn. You do have to watch out for dogs doing their business here, but most people actually do pick it up. And if you ever want to get a good look at some fancy designer dogs, I guess this is the place to go. There does tend to be trash and an odor around the shoreline, but they’ve been working on that. Roosters and the ducks commingle and try to keep their babies away from the many dogs. If you’ve ever wondered why the chicken crossed the road, well, they do that frequently here. I have actually seen a mama duck successfully fight off a dog that was going for her ducklings. 💪 The views are out of this world. Sunrise is by far the best time, or if you can, 20 minutes before dawn. ☀️

Visited for the park re-opening! It's lovely. A music themed playground, a nice grassy open space, a dog park, picnic tables, lookouts over the bay good for fishing, a living coastline and a beautiful memorial bench to Maurice Gibb. A lovely tribute to a lovely man. What a great thing for this neighborhood.

We love the Bee Gees and my daughter and I have been waiting for the reopening. We finally got to make it last weekend. It's very beautiful ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you Miami for doing this for a great man that loved living in Miami and made it his home. Some of the greatest songs were cut right there in Miami.

We waited and waited and now VOILA. ITS A PERFECT PARK. Great sunsets! There are seats built into the edge of the coast for “stadium type seating” There is a great kid play area and a good dog park which was rather crowded. I wonder if dog owners are aware that dogs could be quite susceptible to other dog’s illnesses. I also want to remind dog owners that the dogs are are zoonotic. There are some great trees here. How lucky we are for this tribute to Maurice Gibb. It is a win win for all of us. See you there. Oh great place for picnics or to share a pizza from Lucali.

I visited Bayfront Park today and was really impressed with all the recent renovations. The highlight was the newly updated fountain, which now features a beautiful water show every evening at 8:30 PM. The show lasts about 15 minutes and is truly fantastic. It’s a great experience to sit back, relax, and watch the dancing water with the lights and music set against the backdrop of the city. The park now has plenty of benches where you can sit and take in the view. From here, you get one of the best waterfront perspectives in Miami, with a stunning view of the bay, the Port of Miami, and the iconic downtown skyline. The atmosphere is very family friendly. There’s a designated dog park and open areas where families can gather and kids can play. The overall vibe is peaceful but lively, making it a perfect place to unwind. Being right next to Bayside Marketplace is a huge plus. After the water show, you can easily walk over to grab dinner or enjoy a drink with friends. Bayfront Park has definitely become one of my favorite spots in the city. If you’re in Downtown Miami, it’s a must-visit.

There was so much to see and do here!!! There was live music in front of the water and places offering boat tours. I definitely recommend the millionaires row boat tour! We dined it, Hard Rock Cafe, but there are many many different options for food and drink something for everybody literally. There’s a Skyview Ferris wheel there. I didn’t go on it, but it was kind of cool to see. Definitely your one stop shop for everything you can even book city tours here. I definitely recommend go walking around and taking in the local culture and the music in the food and the drinks !

Bayfront Park is a beautiful green space in the heart of downtown Miami. It’s perfect for a walk, relaxing by the bay, or enjoying the views of Biscayne Bay and the city skyline. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of benches and open areas. A great spot to take a break from the busy city and enjoy some fresh air.

Bayfront offers so many amenities that it's worth a visit. There's a giant plaza area that you can walk around with nice led nights during the evening, it includes a amphitheater, fountain that lights up and plays music. It's definitely a sight to see in downtown.

Lovely park with stunning views of Biscayne Bay. I enjoyed my leisurely stroll from Bayside Marketplace which is literally a minute walk away. Very clean. There are a lot of benches to sit and take in the setting. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the day with the children here. I like that there are no big waves. My toddler can enjoy the water as much as anyone else. The sand is flour soft. That can be a great thing. Or you may not like the feel of it under your feet. Make sure to wear some water shoes. Also some spots may have grass and rocks which hides marine animals and dips in the sand. Look for the spots that are clearer, more transparent to the bottom. That means there is no grass or very little grass. They have kayaking and paddle boards for renting. $25 for an hour, single person or $35 for a two person kayak. Parking all depends on the time of day you arrive. Sometimes it can be so packed. We are definitely going back!!!

Very calm peaceful lots of wildlife I saw raccoon iguanas lots of iguanas the beach had that seaweed all over it but the other part was pretty nice. Looks like they have a nice playground. I did stop at one of the pavilions to look around and picked up 11 large screws. I don’t know if somebody threw them down on purposeor what I backed out of there and turn back around.

A beautiful state park in FL you can visit. There is a beautiful statue there you can take a picture with / of. It has written scripture on the inside and the natural habitat surrounding it is super beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here and checking it out!! It truly is a historical landmark.

A hidden gem just minutes from downtown. Entry is free on foot (although it's quite a walk from the bus stop). I visited midweek and it was almost completely empty. The water was very clear and still, which was perfect for swimming. There was lots of wildlife and plenty of space for exploring.

It's an amazing place to go. But be careful the mosquitoes 🦟 don't play. Besides that isn't beautiful relaxing.

It’s a nice place to sit for a bit though the groundskeepers were really aggressively blowing leaves at people sitting down. I guess that’s why the pavement is so clear. There were plenty of people waiting for the bus along one edge and little kids running around farther from the street.

this is a world class park design and is getting 4 stars only because the city doesn't maintain the restrooms properly. they need to unlock these during the daytime and take the cars out of the park.

We love free Wednesday movie nights here. The picture and sound quality are great. We brought low beach chairs and a blanket.

PROS: Free outdoor movies every Wednesday at 8pm. Check their website for what's on. Huge screen. Free public restrooms on site in a trailer but they're not open late. Buses (free/paid) stop right outside. No dogs. CONS: Bring a blanket/chair/mat as there may be a few ants if you sit on the concrete wall/grass. This is a lovely place to enjoy the New World Symphony or any of the other touring featured artist. A open space with lush Japanesse flowers that surround the common grounds and sitting area. Perfect place for a picnic or to lay out on the bed of grass. There is also a soundscape wall where locals gather to enjoy movies at night with an amazing sound that envelopes the atmosphete, perfect for a date or night out. Visitors and tourist are welcome.

Such a colorful park with the beautiful flowers. I saw it on my way to Lincoln road mall and I had to walk back to see it and definitely take pictures.

Located at the very eastern end of the park, it’s one of my favorite places within the park. I come here pretty often to spot containers ships and or cruises sailing in or out. You can see them from so close. Also the ocean views are beautiful with the south beach waterfront, it’s just pretty. I recommend it either early or late in the day. For sunrises, it’s just epic.

Very beautiful place. I walked about an hour from my hotel to get here. There is a separate walking + biking lane/road, making it so peaceful and pleasant to walk everywhere.

This is a beautiful pier located at the very south of Miami Beach. From here you have a wonderful view of the coast and the water had a staggering teal color. This is definitely a recommended place to visit if you are in Miami and there are few seats that are not fully under the sun where you can fully enjoy your view!

A pretty short pier as piers go, but none the less a very modern well-kept pier with beautiful views of the ocean and South Beach Miami. Definitely a beautiful walking area if you are within a mile or so, especially at night.

Great little park in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Be real careful when walking in here. The rocks are really slippery and there’s a lot of exposed roots and a lot of exposed rock well worth a visit.

I decided to visit this park because it was within walking distance down the street from my hotel in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami. It's a great natural oasis from the hustle and bustle of the urban sprawl. Yes, you can still hear jack hammers, car horns, and the Brickell station metrorail in the background, but this is a great place to relax, read a book next to the koi pond that's located in the park. Bring comfortable walking shoes, as there are tree roots, rocks, and uneven walking surfaces on the walking trail throughout the park. The park is gated and closes at 3pm.

If you want to get away from the hustle of the city, the traffic and stress be sure to stop by at the Simpson Park located in the heart of Miami. It is a natural preserve made of eight acres of tropical hardwood hammock, one of the last of its kind.

Beautiful park, nice history that I did not know about Miami, and the most important the trees, smell nice like been in a jungle. I love it. I took my seniors class for a field trip, and they love it, specially the employees they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

This park is a beautiful hidden jewel, with water views. This park has been here as long as I can remember. KUDOS to the staff for keeping it lovely and to whomever added the small walking trail and wall along the water line. My sisters and I enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon relaxing, chatting, people watching and taking in the beautiful view. Good to see this park is being preserved and not turned into...never mind. Such a beautiful park. It is located in the middle of some pretty nice houses yet you find something so simple and elegant as this park. Named after a strong woman leader and advocate for the environment. It is fitting that this park reflects that. Love the playground and has a small bike path. I would not recommend bringing skates or skateboard because of the texture of path. It also has a small fitness area so perfect for a meaning workout with the air of the ocean to bat the heat of workout.

The renovation is almost finished, a long seawall perfect for lovers or just to relax breathing the salt water breezes. Nice (almost one mile) walking path, some exercise equipment and few party gazebos plus a huge kid's playground. It's worthy to give it's try.

Small park on the key. Mostly manufactured and surrounded by buildings and such. Not really a natural spot just sidewalks for running or dog walking, little grass space, and overlook of the water.

Hard to name this place as a park. Basically this is a stripe of lown by the water. Which is nice. However there is not much to do here, unless to admire the waterview. It has several benches and water fountains.

My favorite quiet space to sit by the water. It's located at the end of a residential area. People sit in their cars, exercise, walk their pets, sit on benches, peer over the rails into the water, meditate and take plenty of photos. It's also a favored spot to watch moon risings.

The mansion was built in the 1910s as a winter home for businessman James Deering. The architecture and gardens are gorgeous, like stepping into old Europe. Fun fact: there's a stone barge built right in front of the villa that protects it from waves and storm damage. It looks like a floating sculpture! The whole estate is beautifully maintained. Perfect spot for photos and learning about Miami's history.

I have loved Vizcaya since I was a little girl, I had not been in 25 years and it did not disappoint. The home is exactly as remembered. The Gardens are magical. I did not realize that James Deering was the brother of Charles Deering another estate in Miami I recommend visiting. This home is truly beautiful with Gardens that make it extra special, the estate is inspired by Italian renaissance villas architecture the home is awing, breathtaking, and inspired. Originally the courtyard was completely open to the sky. The Gardens are so special and the views in the backyard are so special. Just go and spend a day, bring a picnic and if you want instagram worthy pictures this is a great place for you.

I absolutely do not recommend this place. There is no one to help you. The staff turn their faces away when they see you. I wanted to ask questions and get information about the animals, but I ended up getting all the information from Google. It’s nothing but a waste of time. And contrary to what you might expect, there isn’t much variety — for some reason, it’s mostly just birds

This place was awesome! Kind of like a small zoo but the REAL experience is the Lemur Experience. Getting to feed and hangout with the cute little Lemurs was an experience of a lifetime. Highly recommend if you're able to stop by.

This place was 10:10 highly recommend . It’s age appropriate for all ages . Plenty things to do waterpark splash, zip lining, tree trekking, animal shows, & sightseeing animals on the trail. Very nice workers and people friendly to help guide you through the park. The food and drinks is also a plus.

My fiancé and I wanted to celebrate my birthday with an animal encounter but we got so much more!! We had the time of our lives and truly can’t wait to come back! Ryan was our animal expert and he was beyond knowledgeable and kind! We had once in a lifetime experience and recommend it to everyone!!

Recently visited The Jungle Island while on a trip to Miami. We payed for the lemur encounter and it was totally worth it! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative and he made everything even better! Definitely a must-visit 😊

Neat little park. We got in with a promotion so for our family of 5 (one under 3) it was $90. We were told we had to purchase the bogo deal online and had to rejoin the line. There were smaller enclosures of animals (mostly birds) and open viewings of goats and parrots. The waterpark was good for our under 10 kids but the slide part was a bit dangerous. They make you sign the waiver because there is no one monitoring the slide area and making sure it is safe for others to go. My son was getting up from the slide when he was barreled into by another 2 children. The food options were decent but expensive. We went during the weekday and it was easily accessible.

Must-Know Info if You're Doing the Adventure Course! We had a great time at Jungle Island, but I want to share something super helpful‼️ If you're planning to do the Zipline & Adventure Course (Treetop Trekking), you do NOT need to buy a separate general admission ticket for the park. When someone buys the Adventure Course, it includes full access to the park for that person AND one guest! So if you're going for the obstacle courses — skip the general admission and just buy the adventure pass! Super fun and a great value 💯

Little Havana is a must visit if you’re in Miami. It’s full of color, culture, and Cuban spirit. Walking along Calle Ocho, you’ll find vibrant murals, the smell of fresh Cuban coffee, and live salsa music that really brings the area to life. Domino Park is a highlight locals playing dominoes, chatting, and creating a real sense of community. There are also tons of great spots to try authentic Cuban food. I highly recommend grabbing a Cuban sandwich or a strong cafecito at one of the local cafés. Definitely one of my favorite parts of Miami!

It was really cool to visit such an iconic park. We got there a little later in the afternoon on a weekday but were still able to see the end of a couple of games that were in progress. Also the mural painted on the wall features the former Prime Minister of Dominica, Madame Eugenia Charles!! 🇩🇲 That was awesome to see! The park is well kept and clean. Even though I didn't use the restrooms, they seem tidy. I'd plan to visit again in the future and get there a little earlier!

The Domino Park is truly a nice it’s for 55th and up . It’s a nice park filled with a community vibe the players didn’t mind us watching them play . It was actually relaxing see them enjoying a game that they love so much !

Whether you are a tourist or local, you should come to Collins Park at least once. It’s along Colins Ave in SoBe. The park is beautiful, perfect for a walk, or a picnic with friends, or even for pictures, I’m sure you will capture great pictures, specially of the Art Basel sculpture that is within the park.

Beautiful green area along the ocean. Great for running, walking, dog walking, sunning. Workout stations, fenced in playground, outdoor showers to remove sand, benches for people watching. The beach has a lifeguard station, plenty of chair and umbrella rentals.

Small park in front of the Bass Art Museum. Clean. A couple sculptures. No bathrooms or concession stands. Not much to do. Would be a nice place to throw a frisbee or walk a dog. A little sketchy. Homeless people hanging out. There was a security cop patrolling.

Well kept, there's parking if you get there early before 9 a.m. metered parking limited time. Once the afternoon hits people will be circling around the parking lot looking to take your place as you leave. The beach was clean, and the ocean was clear until the tide started coming in, and then there was a bunch of trash that came with it in the ocean. While we were there there was a bunch of men of Wars ranging from the size of a large fist to even as small as a pinky tip watch where you step, especially where the shore meets the ocean.

Wonderful little park right next to the beach. It's gated, my kids enjoyed the zip line. It does close at 8:00 p.m. there are restrooms nearby, great place to stop for a picnic. Or take a break from the beach.

I was curious as to why there would be Polo Park in Miami Beach. Polo is a sport you would more associate with Wellington. It turns out there once was an actual polo playing field on Miami Beach adjacent to Carl Fisher's Nautilus Hotel. The polo field enjoyed by millionaires ran from 11th to 15th streets east of Alton Road. When you enter the park you are still greeted by a reminder from that bygone era by the polo player statue created in 1923 but today you are more likely to find pickleball than polo. In addition to the the pickleball courts in this spacious 4.6 acre park, Polo Park also has tennis courts, a USE fitness station, basketball courts, a softball field, open field area, walking path, and a shade covered playground for ages 2-5 and 5-12. The playground is fenced in for safety and has poured-in-place rubber surfacing, spring rider, twirl around, and swings. I came during one of South Florida's frequent rainstorms so I had the park to myself except for a gentleman walking around the perimeter for exercise. When the weather is nicer I can easily envision this park filled with fitness enthusiasts. pickle ball players, and kids enjoying the playground.

Many basketball hoops and courts, no people tho. Place was kind of empty. Hoops are nice all of them had nets that is a good point

This park is awesome! I used to go to Nautilus Middle School, and visiting here brought back so many memories. With the new addition of a huge playground with swings, tennis courts, upgraded basketball courts, and a baseball/soccer field, this has become my #1 park so far. The park also features a workout station, so you can get your workout in while the kiddos have fun.. A lot of kids come out to play, so your children will have a great chance to meet new friends or even join a quick basketball game.

Polo park… This Park is located in the Miami Beach 41 st area. The City of Miami Beach runs the Park/Pavilion.. The employees are helpful with the Programs offer to the Public.. Customers are able to sign up for the Classes, Summer Camps, After School programs. There is a track to walk around and a few basketball courts. They also have a volleyball court. There are also swings and a play area for small children. 3 great tennis courts and 2 pickle ball courts. Lots of parking.

I come everyday to walk my dogs around the little loop! Love this park and the newly done basketball courts are awesome and same with the tennis courts. the only downside is that everyone who goes there litters like crazy and makes it look like a park in Calcutta; especially on Sunday

Nice clean park. Lots of space but parking is sparse. There was a large grassy area which would be great for a picnic (separate from the soccer field). The water park is open to non residents at $12 per adult $7 per child. Ages 3 and under is free. There was a decent play area in the childrens pool and a second pool for adults that had lanes cornered off for laps. What I liked most is how many chairs and seating areas they had by the pool for families to settle down on. It's definitely a nice option for 2-3 hour activity.

Great facility. It has a swimming pool for adults and one for kids (check official web for non-resident prices, as well as schedules), outside the pool there is a picnic area and basketball courts.

Beautiful pool unfortunately they don't say on the website that they have private swimming lessons and when I got there it closes in 7 minutes from 830 am to noon. It's summer noon is too hot to be outside,As a long term resident I found the attitude of the lifeguard and the fact that I was basically kicked out wrong. Probably won't be going back.

Good place to play some pickup basketball. The courts are not entirely well-maintained. One hoop was missing the net and another hoop was bent. But there are 3 full length courts, 6 hoops. Competition was friendly. I would return.

Other than suffering So Flo’s extreme heat🥵, this quaint little place is awesome! Each garden has a theme. My favorite was the Japanese garden. Albeit they boast a butterfly 🦋 garden, there is no actual butterfly garden, that was a tad bit disappointing. Feeding the Koi’s was more fun than I expected. At the garden cafe, I had the best matcha loaf & lemonade. The gift shop had the most amazing selection on exhibit by local artists. The pieces made with jellybeans & bread were so intriguing. Despite the heat, I had a fabulous and therapeutic visit. I will definitely return to attend one of their Saturday evening classes when it’s cooler.

It’s not a huge place, but that’s what makes it special — you can explore everything without feeling rushed. We visited the garden on October 4th, and the lady at the gift shop was incredibly kind and personally walked us over to meet Elaine. Elaine was wonderful, she took her time showing us around the grounds, including the Japanese Garden and beautiful spots for a first look. Her professionalism and warmth made us feel truly welcomed. We loved the space so much that we signed our proposal and submitted our deposit yesterday! We’re beyond excited to have our ceremony here in March 2026. This lovely little botanical garden situated next to the Miami Beach Convention Center is walking distance from the area hotels. On you way you can see other unique area features. When I was visiting there was a yoga class in one area, a toddlers music class in another, and a peaceful, tranquil walk through the gardens was a great way to start my morning. Unique plants, plenty of places to sit and relax, benches and natural seating as well as tables and chairs. Don't forget to follow the paths around all the nooks and crannies. On the north end you will find the canal. What a nice place to sit and relax. Don't forget to visit the koi pond. They love visitors.

What a hidden gem! The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is off the charts, and the fact that it's a free, donation-based resource in Miami is unheard of. There's literally nothing free in Miami! As a perfect bonus to my visit today, the Bonsai Coffee Truck was parked right in front. They are normally in Miami Shores, so it was a fantastic surprise. The truck itself is adorable and not your average commercial setup. The owners were super friendly, the customer service was great, and the presentation was even better. Most importantly, the coffee was seriously delicious, making it the perfect way to start my walk through the gardens. As for the garden itself, there is so much to check out. It is a resource near city hall that I did not know about until a few months back, and this is me coming to South Florida for over 10 years. It's like an oasis, a little mini-forest right in the heart of Miami Beach. There are so many different cultural items, it's like a whole environment to experience. It was so cool seeing all the different types of plants, and the Japanese garden area was so peaceful. It's wild to think the garden site itself was originally part of a golf course developed by Carl Fisher back in the 1900s. They also offer so many different experiences. You have to check out the program where they teach you about bees, from seeing the hive to tasting the honey. They also have other things like yoga, sound baths, and even bonsai workshops.

A very nice botanical garden, just a short walk from the beach. Very peaceful. The tranquility is helpful to unwind and relax in the fresh air to get away from the hustle and bustle. Free admission.

In the middle of Miami’s blazing summer sun, this garden felt like a true oasis. Cool, peaceful, and beautifully maintained—every plant looked cared for and vibrant. We spotted butterflies, koi fish, and even a gecko! My child had a great time exploring the garden paths and discovering little surprises along the way. It’s a lovely stop for travelers like us—perfect for a relaxing break and a bit of nature in the city.

The parks of Sunny Isles Beach are immaculate and Intracoastal Park South is a shinning example. It is part of the Intracoastal Parks, a linear park system made up of four smaller parcels to create an Intracoastal Park north and an Intracoastal Park south. This waterfront park boasts a green landscape with picnic benches, seating, a bike rack, paved walkway, and public art. The linear parks contain a set of three abstract cement and metal sculptures inspired by the elements and environment of South Florida, "Seawhisper", "Rain", and "Converge". At the southernmost portion of the park is the fenced Dezer Family Playground donated by Michael Dezer, an Israeli-American real estate developer, car collector, billionaire, and founder of Dezer Properties which has investments in New York and Florida real estate. I have always admired this park on my way to Bal Harbour and Surf Side but there is no parking at the park or anywhere nearby. It seems to have been made primarily for those living in and visiting the tower hotels and condos across the street on the beach.

It's a nice park but be prepared for parking issues. The parking lot is small and the Pinecrest tennis mom's like to take up two spots. Ride a bike there if you can.

A beautiful escape from the harsh realities of Miami, this park is adorned with gorgeous sculptures from South Miami's sister city of Medellin. Plenty of exercise options also!

Clay courts are well maintained. Relatively easy to get a court with a little planning. Next to a very nice park with a track and outdoor gym. Some shading in the park too which is hard to find in Miami. They don’t do a good job advertising advertising clinics online. Hard to figure out how to book since all the Miami facilities are using a mix of different booking systems.

I love this park! It has recently been renovated. It is shaded with trees, has a pavilion and bathrooms. There are two separate play areas for the toddlers and older kids. There are wood chips in the play areas.They have four swings (two toddler and two normal). There is a great jogging trail around the park and there are tennis courts as well.

Probably one of the nicest parks in South Florida. Rubber mulch padded walkway, ideal for joggers. Super large kiddie playground. A lot of art installations all over the park and a large tennis facility. Outdoor gym, basketball and volleyball courts too. On the weekends occasionally no parking spots available.

This place is great the best for picnics but i wish they would have marked it closed. Drove 30 minutes and found out it’s closed and under construction 😭 I don’t know how long it will take.

great pickleball courts but not enough!!! there are always empty tennis courts when i play, so i wish they would draw some lines on a few of the tennis courts. there's way more pickleball players wanting to get reservations and the 4 courts are always full. additionally, the website to reserve anything (community pass) is terrible and difficult to navigate. needs a complete redesign

Peaceful and calm. One of the best beaches I have ever been to.

Great at pre-dawn. Stretch and wait for the sun, then swim. There's a yoga class weekends around 7 on the sand. I pick up litter when I go. Please do the same. Don't bother the turtle nests. We've seen live hatchlings as well as adult female turtles. The turtle squad is there checking nests and are rich with info. Free parking till 9 at street.

This is a one acre triangle shaped neighborhood park in the historic North Shore neighborhood of Miami Beach. North Shore is famous for having the most intact mid-20th century resort architecture (MiMo) in the Greater Miami area. Tatum Park was named in honor of a trio of pioneer brothers, Smiley, Johnson, and Bethel Tatum who moved to the area in 1919 and platted for roads and residences. The Tatums developed the Altos Del Mar subdivision, on the ocean at 78th Street. Tatum Park is fenced in and there is limited parking here and in general in this part of Miami Beach. I think a lot of the neighborhood residents use the parking meant for the Tatum Park for their own cars. Tatum Park has a number of great amenities that were being enjoyed when I visited. These include a restroom, picnic tables and benches, shaded play ground with poured-in-place rubber surfacing, basketball court, fitness station, open field, and two sand volleyball courts. This park is surrounded by housing on small plots of land so Tatum Park serves the important function of providing a recreational space for families, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy some outdoor time.

I absolutely love this park! Perfect for playing sand volleyball, basketball, and taking your children to the park. The water fountain doesn't work though so keep that in mind.

Free parking around the park. There is a kids playground, basketball court, beach volleyball courts, restrooms and water fountain. What more could you ask for? There is actually one -a shower or rinsing station for washing off the sand. Then it would be perfect. Please do consider

Great park just understand sometimes to play volleyball, it’s invite only and they act like they own the field even though it’s a public park. A bit more difficult to play friendly pick up games but other than that it’s a good park.

Nice quiet place to bring family, play basketball, small playground and trail around the inside and outside. Says no dogs allowed but some people still bring dogs in so the one issue I have with it.

The park is good, but my rating goes to the office staff who takes care of everything regarding the park, especially for birthday parties. The staff is very unprofessional, they do not show any interest in helping the client who is renting the park, in my particular case I rented it for a birthday, they totally refused to give me electricity, supposedly because the contract said that we did not have access to the park. electrical outlet, which was not true. We wanted early access for the organization and they told us no because if it was rented at 12, they would give us access at 11:30. How is it possible for you to rent a place and arrive half an hour early to prepare and set up the place. It wasn't enough for them and at 4 o'clock they arrived and took the power away from us and the employee started blowing and cleaning without asking permission without asking who was in charge. They made my guests feel very uncomfortable since it was my responsibility to start removing my guests. I share my experience so that mothers like me who are close to the park do not think about renting the park to celebrate their children's birthdays, all due to the lack of respect for the customer and the rudeness of the staff. Its in my neighborhood. Didn't know that had.a area.for adults to work out. I worked out in the kids area because the ground is bounci and great absorbing shock when you run around. Bathroom is clean and great kids area with gates to keep them inside.

Today I came back to eat at pollo tropical in miami beach alton road, which I recommend to everyone if they can drop in and try their food, super delicious and good price. I am very grateful to eat good and cheap with very good service.

Very nice park. Secured all around. Clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking all around it. We came here for a baby shower and the kids were safe in the playground while the adults spent time on the designated area for events. I love that you can also bring your dogs to the pet area. This park is very complete.

It's a really nice park with a volleyball setup, basketball court, fitness equipment, and kids playground. I just wish there was security patrolling the park. With that, I'm sure more families would flood this park.

Fisher Park was named in honor of Carl G. Fisher who left his fingerprints all over Miami Beach. Fisher was an entrepreneur who made money in the automotive industry, highway construction, and real estate development. Along with his partner Jim Allison, he developed automobile lights based on acetelyene gas and the men millionaires in 1917 when they sold their Prest-O-Lite company. The partners went on to found the Indianapolis 500 Speedway and the Lincoln Highway. On a vacation to Miami in 1910, Fisher saw the potential in the swampland that ran between Miami and the ocean. Along with John S. Collins and the Lummus Brothers, Fisher was a founder and developer of Miami Beach. In 1913 he built the first luxury hotel in the area followed shortly after by the Lincoln Road shopping district. Fisher built a street car connection to Flagler's railroad so he could develop the area. He invested in infrastructure and set Miami Beach on the path to be the tourist destination it is today. On April 10, 1941 the citizens of Miami dedicated a memorial to Carl G. Fisher. The memorial features a bronze bust of Fisher, wearing his floppy hat, glasses, and smiling. Fisher was known for his trademark glasses. He suffered from severe astigmatism, which resulted in difficulty paying attention in school, headaches, eyestrain, and blurred vision. The vision problem was so bad that he ended up quitting school at age 12. The inscription on the monument reads: “Carl Graham Fisher – he carved a great city out of a jungle”. The memorial is located in Fisher park at the corner of Alton Road and Lakeview Drive. Fisher Park also has a recently renovated 2-5 year old and 5-12 year old covered playground with a poured rubber surface. The playground has a back to nature theme. Play equipment includes a tree house, education tree area, dragonfly seesaw, and mushroom spinner. The park also has an open space with large tree for shade and benches. The park is open Monday - Sunday; Sunrise to Sunset.

This is a wonderful place for a respite or picnic. There is an abundance of comfortable thick green grass. Do check out some of the majestic trees worthy of some Kodak moments.

Lovely little park! A true hidden gem. Fully fenced in, plenty of appropriate equipment for tots and kids. Children will have fun playing here! Limited adult seating. Large trees for shade. There are no bathroom facilities and parking is limited.

This is a beautiful stretch of clean beach. but parking is limited so if you have more than one car of beach goers you may be better off heading over to 63-73rd Street, there are more public lots over there.

Beautiful beach, nice scenery, great for buggy boarding/jet skiing. The problem with this beach is that it is just too dirty, lots of trash everywhere, beer bottle glasses, lost random abandon/lost sandals/shoes, bits of wood in the sand, that's the reason I'm giving it 3 stars.

Park is a generous term for these basketball courts. It gets quite busy after work in the summer, but it's always fun to play.

My fisrt time at the park was for 4th of july 2025. I was told about the place and i wanted to see the drone show. The location is about 45 min from my home but I was eager to see a drone show. I thought parking would be terrible considering the place is at the beah. But no, there were many parking spots around the park. When my family arrived they were surprised to see this large group fit in the small area. There was a concert at the top of the field. Some of the atendees walked toward the food trucks. Others to the playground, some just passed through others walked to the beach. The drone show was everything i expected. The display took place right over the water about 300 feet in the air. After the drone display there was a nice fireworks display that had everyone busy looking. I liked the spot so much the family and i decided to return soon to enjoy the park and beach during the day. I would recommend a visit to this park.

Great park off the beach. Went for 4th of July celebration. Excellent fireworks, food trucks and live music. Huge play area with pirate themed slides/climbing for the kids. Clean restrooms.
