Atlantic Dunes Park is a serene beach with lifeguard supervision, offering a boardwalk and nature trails through lush pine trees. It provides picnic tables, restrooms, showers, and chair rentals conveniently located on the ocean side of A1A. Families can enjoy the Florida sunshine here and participate in activities such as Sunset Beach Yoga meetups. Additionally, visitors can explore nearby attractions like Gulfstream Park for family-friendly fun or Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens for cultural experiences.
Atlantic Dunes Park is a scenic public beach park located in Delray Beach, Florida. Known for its tranquil atmosphere and natural beauty, the park offers a more relaxed alternative to some of the busier nearby beaches. It features soft sand dunes, lush vegetation, and a wooden boardwalk that provides easy access to the beach. The park is equipped with amenities such as restrooms, showers, and picnic areas, making it a convenient spot for families and visitors looking to enjoy a day by the ocean. Additionally, it's staffed with lifeguards, ensuring a safe environment for swimming and other beach activities. The natural habitat around the park also offers opportunities for wildlife viewing, making it a favored destination for nature enthusiasts.

Nice little beach area with a covered deck and restroom. Parking decent. Has chairs and umbrellas for rent. Lifeguards are there. Check for seaweed in advance
Dawn N — Google review
Atlantic Dunes Park is a perfect beach to keep away from the crowds. Small paid parking lot across the street and fills up quickly on weekends. Restrooms and shady area next to beach entrance. Lifeguard station beach with umbrella and chair rentals. Staff on week and weekends cleaning the area.
Michael B — Google review
Saturday morning, I got up early and headed to Atlantic Dunes Park. I arrived early enough that the regular parking lot was still locked, which was a serious bummer. I get that someone needs to be here to open it but this was a disappointment. Once I did find a spot to park, it was a nice walk through the mangroves and along the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. I found a seat, probably trespassing from one of the communities but the chair was comfy. With my coffee in hand, I was here for over an hour as the Sun slowly came over the horizon. I was undisturbed. Other beachgoers walking back and forth but folks seemed to get my vibe and did not approach. There is a beached sailboat here since December. Maybe it's still here when you visit. It made for some fun photos. There is a bathroom facility and a beach shower and a picnic pavilion. Parking across the street requires feeding a meter. Don't forget that.
Bruce K — Google review
Peace, tranquility, stunning views (very similar to the beaches in Naples.
Joshua ( — Google review
Fantastic Beach area and not very busy. Parked on the street close by and paid $3 per hour.
Matthew T — Google review
Great little part to hit the beach at took my mom surfing and they had a great time. There are bathrooms available as well as showers and a pergola that you can eat lunch at.
Jonathan M — Google review
Such a lovely place to hang out and just relax. I love this beach. Not too crowded considering the time of the year. Parking was easier than I expected. The sand is kept pretty clean of garbage and there's plenty of space to choose your spot, open the chair or rent one, and lay back to enjoy the ocean. Definitely coming back

Anchor Park is a charming public park that offers a variety of amenities for visitors. It features a small playground and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy some outdoor fun. Additionally, the park provides beach access and is equipped with six volleyball nets and a kiosk offering rentals and lessons for water activities. Visitors can also explore the nearby 1903 SS Inchulva shipwreck located half a mile offshore through snorkeling excursions.
I spent a decent amount of time here at Anchor Park as it was the only spot that I could find a parking space along Delray Beach. It has entrances on A1A (look for the anchor) and from Gleason Street. In addition to the larger parking area, there are picnic tables, a nice covered playground and a cinderblock restroom building. The parking lot is nicely shaded so maybe you won't have your car melted after you spend a day in the sun yourself.

Always the final rest stop on the way back for Bike MS! They saved me back in 2023 when I did the century ride, I would not have made it back to the finish line without their support! They are the best! This year was much better weather and only 63 miles, so I could stand on my own two feet!

Great playground for the kids. Nice shaded areas to sit and play. Right across A1A for easy beach access and/or to break up the beach day with some playtime.

I want to a special shout out to staff and manager night of June 1st for my 8pm dinner reservation. I planned a proposal and it felt like the whole place shifted a gear to make it really special and super attentive experience and I am truly thankful for it. I apologize not remember the names of the staff but I was so nervous msyelf I could barely focus. They got our order very quickly had things out in a timely manner and the manager even helped me with the scenario I needed to ask the big question as well as recorded it for me. The food was amazing and fresh and my fiancé loved every minute of it. Great place to go when you want and EXPERIENCE. Thank you guys.
Luke L — Google review
Gave this restaurant a try after seeing it. Reviewed on tick tock was not disappointed. Beautiful interior and exterior and lovely seafood menu choices and wonderful cocktails. Good service, and romantic ambience. Located near other nice shops and venues. The lobster bisque was wonderful. The lobster cob salad was also amazing and the drift Burger did not disappoint.
Luke A — Google review
Gorgeous interior design, great location. You walk in, and the ambience puts you at ease immediately. Unfortunately, the food did not follow suit. I ordered the bone in ribeye, medium rare, and although the presentation was stunning, it got to me medium well, so I asked for it to be sent back as it was very overcooked, and the server seemed displeased with me. It took quite a awhile to receive a new steak, delivered by a different waiter, which was cooked properly this time, but possibly because I didn't want to eat their overcooked steak, they decided to entirely forgo the rosemary garlic butter it was supposed to be cooked in, not even any salt, so just bland meat flavor, and unfortunately everyone else at my table had finished eating, so I ate about half of my steak and had the rest packed up to go as to not hold up the group dinner. Did not see our waiter for a good amount of time since the steak was sent back, and we were instead helped by Elisha who was rather friendly, but we didn't get refills for a bit. We all ordered the key lime bar, and were told they use the same recipe as the location in Key West, and we were upset to see it was really just a lime based lemon meringue pie with a very heavy crust instead of a light, flaky crust as is standard in the keys. No creaminess to the lime whatsoever, just the same type of filling you'd get in a meringue pie. The raspberry sauce with the key lime bar was bitter and sour as if the raspberries they used had gone bad, and the whipped cream was definitely Kool whip and left the trademark oily film in your mouth. For a nearly $60 steak and a nearly $200 bill for just one of my friends and I, I would hope you'd have better quality, but I was terribly mistaken. I'd recommend you skip this one, and take your money elsewhere, I certainly will next time I'm in the area.
Meagan M — Google review
Just stopped in for a quick drink and bite. Had the foccaiia bread, which was very fresh and good. The sauce and butter were not my favorite, but it was all tasty. The server was great, and so was the ambiance.
Tina L — Google review
Just had one of the best dining Experiences. Interesting the last time I had a dinner as memorable as this was when my wife and I ate at the Lattudes Restaurant in Key West Interestingly, it’s owned by the same resort. In short, the food was absolutely amazing - My wife and I split a Caesar salad and we both commented how great it was - That was followed by our main entrée - My wife had the grilled grouper fillet and she thought it was one of the best she’d ever had - I had the shellfish stew which was served in a Tomato broth and it was extraordinary. We followed by sharing their Keylime dessert, which was also quite good My wife also commented that the old-fashioned that she had as a pre-dinner cocktail was also outstanding The restaurant sits within the Opal, Grand resort and spa in Delray Beach Absolutely beautiful After dinner, take a leisurely stroll down the beach It’s Florida at its finest

We came here on a Sunday for lunch with my husband, hoping to enjoy the rooftop bar with its ocean view. Unfortunately, it only opens at 4 PM — and this was not mentioned on Google Maps, which was a bit disappointing. Instead, we went to Drift Kitchen & Bar, and it turned out to be a very nice experience (there’s also a cute café inside the resort!). On Sundays, they offer a $45 lunch menu as well as a regular menu — though the regular one feels more like a breakfast/brunch selection. We chose the lunch menu, which also included a buffet with excellent quality meats (beef and lamb were especially good). Since we were in a hurry, we sat at the bar. Service was great, everything was delicious, and for the dishes we couldn’t finish, they kindly packed them to go. That was a lovely touch, especially when we discovered they had also included a generous dessert! Another highlight — there was live music, including a saxophone, which created a wonderful atmosphere and made the lunch feel extra special. 🎷✨ Parking is valet, $10/hour — and I loved that when they bring your car back, they also offer cold bottled water. Inside the Opal Grand Resort there’s also a charming boutique with beautiful dresses and accessories. All in all, a very pleasant spot right on the oceanfront — definitely recommend visiting! 🌊✨
Oksana K — Google review
Went to Drift for my birthday and recieved excellent service from the valet, to the host and my server was excellent. She gave great recommendations, very attentive, but cannot remember her name :(. I had the cocojito whixh was nice to start the night. I had the skillet foccacia with the parm fondue uff and the blueberry butter just hit great! The drift burger was great but realized it has 3 types of onions onion marmalade, red onion, and crispy onions. The red onion not necessary very tasty! Overall had a fantastic time Highly recommended
Weightloss A — Google review
Everything about this foodie experience was great. Had a 'blueberry fog' drink, octopus as an appetizer, cavatelli pasta as a main dish, and a chocolate crunch dessert with an espresso. All was divine. Highly recommended!

Spanish River Park is a sprawling 95-acre family-friendly city park nestled between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean in Boca Raton. It offers a variety of activities for visitors, including picnicking, swimming, bird-watching, fishing, and biking. The park features convenient beach access through walking tunnels and has lifeguards on duty for safety.
If you live in Boca Raton and say you haven't been here, you'll make me sad :) It's a wonderful, wonderful park. Whether you're going for a walk, visiting the park, or having a picnic... come for whatever reason, but definitely come.
Özden O — Google review
This is a wonderful park and it's completely underutilized. In addition to being a great park with barbecues and facilities for larger groups it also is on the intercoastal as well as the ocean and you have access to lunch kayaks or like right from the park. Is well taken care of and also serves as a parking area to be able to go underneath A1A and go to the dog beach which is through a tunnel without traffic to the other side.

Great park!! Grills for BBQ , and plenty of shade for those hot days. Under road entrance to the beach, with showers and clean bathrooms.

Spanish River Park is a beautiful place to enjoy nature, walk among trees, and relax by the ocean. The grounds are well-maintained, with picnic areas, shaded spots, and direct beach access. It’s perfect for families, outdoor activities, or simply unwinding. It’s best to arrive early since parking can fill up quickly. Overall, a very pleasant and well-kept park.

Old School Square in Delray Beach is a vibrant cultural hub housed in a converted early-20th-century school. The complex features the renowned Cornell Art Museum, an outdoor music pavilion, and the Crest Theatre which hosts a variety of performances and events. Nearby, the Pineapple Grove Arts District offers galleries and public art installations while other nearby institutions celebrate the city's diverse heritage.
I was just passing through old school square after watching movie from ipic! It was my fir visit here, but I was surprised totally. Being a car lover there was an auto show going on! Omg I was thrilled to saw those vintage cars. And there was farmers market too nearby.

Old school square is like a town square in European city. Where variety of activities/events happening and people gather here to spend time wonder around. Vendors, musics and arts in between. We were here for Christmas, summer weekends. It’s the place to seen and be seen. A bit of alternative life from endless strip malls around this regions.
The A — Google review
Beautiful music venue and historic center of downtown Delray Beach, been the heart of delray for as long as I can remember. Great atmosphere and plenty of outdoor events all throughout the year. My only complaint being that I wish the city would spend more resources towards bringing in more talented music acts that people would like to attend. There are plenty of local competent promoters/booking agents that could breath a breath of greasy air into the music scene here (ie: brotherly love productions), no reason we should be outshined by the city of lake worth. Garlic fest for example which was the best event held, but still lacking in the talent scouting imho, was lost to lw a few years back. Hope to see Delray back in the radar in the years to come Photos copyright and provided by @slightly_skewed

Veterans Park in Delray Beach is a serene and versatile destination by the Gulf Stream. It offers a range of activities for visitors, including a BBQ/picnic area, playground, and senior citizen recreation center. The park provides an opportunity to experience a simpler lifestyle with amenities like picnic areas and lawn bowling courts. Additionally, it hosts free live music events that contribute to its lively atmosphere.
This park is a great family spot with a fun playground that keeps the kids happy. There are clean restrooms and a shady gazebo right by the Intracoastal, perfect for relaxing with a view. You’ll also find a nice covered picnic area that’s great for lunch or birthday gatherings. The big open lawn gives plenty of room to toss a frisbee or let the kids run around. It’s a peaceful and well-maintained space for a day out in the Florida sun.

nice lil park. addition of shade sails is nice, but it could perhaps use a few more by the swings. not accessable to special needs kids
Asuka — Google review
This park is located on the intercoastal off of Atlantic Avenue. It has a small children's playground and an Helios Multi Gym exercise machine. The children’s playground is partly covered for a little sun protection, which is a nice feature. There is a large gazebo which often has people inside. Park benches run along the path next to the intercoastal. A path runs under the Atlantic Avenue bridge taking you to the other side of Atlantic Avenue which is an easy way to get across the street here or to get to Deck 84 for drinks or a meal. This is also where Delray Yacht Cruises leave from. There is public parking on the north and west side of the park. It's a nice little park to eat lunch, do yoga or bring the kids.

Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton is a sprawling 55-acre outdoor space that offers a wide array of sports and recreational facilities. Operated jointly by The Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District and the City of Boca Raton, the park features amenities such as tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, football fields, basketball courts, and an electronic playground. Additionally, visitors can participate in events or classes at the Community Center.
The updated playground is absolutely incredible! Thank you to everyone who put this together. It’s every parents dream. There’s plenty of shade everywhere, plenty of seating, completely fenced in, great splash pad WITH shade, bathrooms are individual stalls, etc etc. The multilevel basketball area is super cute and unique. The ONLY complaint (if this even is one…) is I wish there was some taller slides/structures. But still, my 4.5 and almost 7 year old love it.
Fatemeh S — Google review
The ongoing repair and renovation works are spoiling the fun. They have disturbed the peace of the environment. You should not go there much until the construction works are finished. Apart from that, it is a pleasant park where you can enjoy many activities such as cycling, walking, playing basketball, baseball, having picnics, bringing small children to the park... etc. I think we need to be a little patient.
Özden O — Google review
The updated park is AMAZING!!!!!! The splash pad is great. The floor material on the park side is super soft. There is an area with basketball hoops of various sizes. Bathrooms are within the gate. There are many picnic tables and seating areas and even child sized tables for a fun snack or lunch time with friends. We also appreciate the shaded coverings above the park and splash pad.
Alyssa — Google review
It is an incredibly beautiful park, everything is thought for children. There is nothing to pose a danger. We experienced the part for ages 1-8, which is completely safe and has a water playground, basketball court and playground. If your child has no friends, don't worry, they can socialize and make friends there.
Merve A — Google review
This is a great remodel! We took our twins there just the other day and they had a blast! Only suggestion would be to put some slip pads on the metal playground area because I saw multiples kids get wet and then run on it and slip. Also the one water spinning thing that’s close to the ground, like 3 kids hit their head on it. But other than that, my kids absolutely loved it and it’s beautifully done.
Daniel Z — Google review
Such an awesome park. Playground and splash pad in one! I sent a video to my mom and sister and they assumed you had to pay to get in (you don’t, but it’s that nice!) 30 min drive from Riviera Beach but was worth it.

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, established in 2001, is a tribute to the rich history and cultural contributions of African and Native Americans in Florida. It showcases exhibits that delve into the local African-American history and culture, shedding light on Delray Beach's role as a sanctuary for escaped slaves. The museum also highlights the influences of Haitian, Cuban, and Caribbean populations.
How this place doesn’t have more reviews confounds me. I moved to Delray in January and just visited here. It’s small. Definitely small. But there’s a lot of interesting art, it’s free(!), they have fun workshops on the weekends, and the front desk woman is extremely knowledgeable. She was telling us about how Spady was located in one of Delray’s historical districts which was neat info. I wonder if there’s any books on the topic! I’ve attached some pics. Not everything so that I don’t spoil it. They change their installations 4-6 times a year and you can follow them on Facebook and iG Docent tours are a fee but admission is freee

This museum is a gem! I am a member of NYSUT RC 43, which consists of retired teachers from NY who live full or part-time in FL. We learned so much from our tour. Charlene, the daughter of Vera Rolle Farrington, who was the brainchild of the museum, initiated our visit with information about the founding of the museum and the programs that they offer to the children in the neighborhood. Fabiola continued with her talk about the current exhibition, this area of Delray Beach, and the history of Black and Indigenous communities in FL and in the US. After watching a video about a controversial time in Delray's history, we concluded our tour with Edward who spoke eloquently and passionately about Delray's history and that of the US. It was time well spent. It was not only educational, but it was also very enjoyable. (Parking is readily available next to the museum.)

Very interesting to learn the history of the Spady House and surrounding Delray area. Ms Janice, our guide was very hospitable and knowledgeable. The exhibits, especially the videos and hearing first hand from those that lived it was very inciteful. I highly recommend this little bit of history in the heart of Delray.

Nature & Parks
Barwick Park is an impressive recreational area with expansive grassy fields and a well-maintained walking path, alongside amenities such as a playground, picnic pavilion, and BBQ grills. It boasts an excellent design that caters to the needs of both children and families. The park offers two separate walking trails that overlap, measuring 1 mile and 1.25 miles respectively.
While visiting my friend in Delray, I discovered an enchanting park that left me spellbound. The park boasts a paved trail, lush wildflowers supporting bees and butterflies, and diverse wildlife, including squirrels, cardinals, blue jays and woodpeckers. It also features outdoor exercise machines, a picturesque playground and native plants, making it breathtaking in the mornings and afternoons. For Pokémon Go enthusiasts, there are two gyms and plenty of PokéStops; I caught a few shiny ones. I crafted two routes and tested them. A fire station is conveniently located nearby. I practiced grounding and felt rejuvenated. I even hugged some trees. This haven is truly wonderful, offering fresh discoveries every lap, covering a whole mile.

Great playground! The kids always have so much fun fun going there! The playground looks so futuristic. Few things: take water food and snacks with you. picnic tables are shaded. The restrooms are by the parking lot so use it when you get there because it’s a bit of a walk to the playground.Hope your kids have fun!

I stumbled here by chance when I was heading home from the nature parks. This playground is eclectic and unique among the playgrounds here in south Florida. The design of it gives so many options for kids to climb, jump, explore, and test their abilities. My one year old was able to climb to the top and enjoy a VIP seat on the top level. There's public restrooms across from the playground and a nice circular path to walk or jog.

Great park for families. The playground and slide area were awesome. Lots to do for the kids. We even enjoyed the exercise area. There were benches and a nice covered pavilion for eating.

Nice to get out again to the park. Taking it slow since it has been years. The path near the parking lot can use some repairs. Edit 2/27/23; I went there to wax my car under the shade. New equipment for the kids to play on. It looks very nice. Edit 11/23/24: There is some new equipment for the kids to play on. Looks Very nice. I just want to know...who likes the wildflowers that was planted? I think it obstructs the view to see where people are. I guess I'll have to get used to it. I'd rather Lake Ida personally. When it's Very hot...there is more of a breeze there. I don't know who Tara was...but this is Such a nice way to memorialize her. May she Rest in Peace🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Great park! The slide was gigantic and my kids , nine, seven and four are able to overcome their fear of heights after going their a few times. I guess familiarity, really. The playground is covered which makes planning a lot easier since you can basically go there in the middle of the day and it’s shaded.
Shiela G — Google review
Pros: * Thoughtful Design: A great combination of a tranquil nature trail, spacious open areas, and recreational facilities. * Variety of Activities: It offers traditional outdoor exercise machines and an innovative, modern playground. Cons: * Poor Maintenance: The park is not well-maintained. Trails are often muddy and covered in leaves. * Unsafe Equipment: The outdoor exercise machines are mostly broken and non-functional, posing a risk of injury. * Potential Playground Hazards: The unique, unconventional design of the playground is visually amazing but inherently dangerous for children, so caution is advised.
Pedro F — Google review
We really enjoyed this park. It's amazing, to be honest, but it's a bit (or a lot) challenging. There are 2 playground structures for different age groups plus 2 very tall slides. Trail walk and baby swings. If you don't like to walk every step behind your little ones, this might not be the park for you. You must have your eyes very open and alert. Follow me in insta as @divine.southflorida for more places to visit and things to do with kids.

The Delray Beach Historical Society, established in 1964, is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Delray Beach. The society's campus includes three restored houses that offer a glimpse into the early 1900s lifestyle and culture. One house features exhibits on family life, while another serves as a classroom space and archival section. The third house houses administrative offices and a gift shop. Visitors can also explore the Florida-native heritage garden on the one-acre campus.

Can’t say enough great things about the DBHS! The entire team is immensely knowledgeable and helpful for all things historical in Delray Beach. Whether visiting for the archives, which provide extensive information on local historical sites and structures, or for one of their rotating historical exhibits, make a point to stop in and see what the Historical Society has to offer. Their annual Twilight in the Garden event is outstanding and not to be missed. Winnie, Connie, Tom, Kayleigh and team are fantastic.

Spent a lot of time in the room that focuses on the timeline of Florida History. It begins in "pre-history" and spends a good amount of time here trying to describe what this region was like prior to the European invasions that began in the 15th century. This exhibit also does a good job of communicating a broad view of history that is too often ignored. You cannot give an honest accounting of any state in the South without acknowledging the outsized role that slavery played. This exhibit makes an honest attempt to do so fairly.

One of its standout features is the Pompey Park Pool, where visitors can enjoy Red Cross-certified swimming lessons and water safety programs led by friendly staff members.

Saturday 11/23 at the thanksgiving turkey I saw a mother REFUSED a thanksgiving box for her children. the small RUDE lady running the event yelled at her staff, yelled at people in the line. the lady showed her event invite she received from a 3rd party i guess it didn't mention kids. You apparently had to bring your children. I was shocked the lady left crying. It takes away what Pompey stands for in this community and she was not it

For 55 years Pompey Park has been an institution and landmark in Delray Beach. The 17.5 acre park was named in honor of C. Spencer Pompey (1915-2001). Mr. Pompey was a teacher, principal, coach, civil rights activist, and author of Like a Mighty Banyan and More Rivers to Cross published posthumously. He taught, coached, and became principal of Carver High School in Delray Beach. Today the park is looking better than ever after Delray Beach began a three-phase, 23 million dollar renovation and upgrade to the park in 2023. Improvements included two new pools, a new baseball field, playground, basketball courts, more restrooms, a park shelter, and parking. Pompey Park also a pickle ball courts, tennis courts, and community recreation center with a gymnasium, stage, meeting room, and kitchen. I was impressed with how new and clean the park looks and all of it's recreational resources. Pompey Park is the heart of this community. Coco Gauff, world famous professional tennis player and Delray Beach native has been known to stop by and hit tennis balls with local kids. The community center provides services to the neighborhood like tax help for low income families. Recreational programs include Youth Football and Cheerleading, Tee Ball/Youth Baseball, Adult Athletic Leagues, Delray Divas Step Team, Diamonds and Pearls Dance Team, Karate/Martial Arts, Youth Track and Field, Youth Basketball, Youth Flag Football, Pickleball, Cheer Camp, Football Camp, Senior Club, and many more. Pompey Park offers a rich blend of recreational, educational, and cultural amenities for the community.

This venue showcases live music, plays, musicals, spoken word events, comedy, and visual arts featuring local emerging artists as well as global performers. Located in the vibrant Pineapple Grove district of Delray Beach, it serves as a gathering place for artists of various styles and mediums to showcase their work.
We came to Open Mic Night with four other couples to see our friend perform. We had a nice time and will be back. Staff was pleasant and helpful, seating comfortable, and drinks were fairly priced. Note: You might consider getting a server to run drinks from the bar to the audience, as it was challenging and a little disrespectful to the performers having audience members running back and forth in front of the stage. Thank you for a pleasant evening, looking forward to our next visit.

I had not been to the Arts Garage since 2014 so I didn't know what to expect. I was delighted to find that both the venue and the Flamenco performance I was attending were sublime. The dancers and musicians were not only talented and energetic, they were also friendly and engaging. Bravo for a wonderful performance. As for the Venue, it was not only comfortable and cozy but also breathing art. The lobby was an art gallery. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening out. I would love to see more dance performances in the future.

This park has been a staple location for my family to visit. Sometimes we just watch the dogs in the dog park area. There are 2 sides there. Sometimes one is closed but when it's not there is a small dog and larger dog side. There are 2 playgrounds. The photos are of the larger one that has canopies for shade. The larger playground offers a section for toddlers say up to 3 years old. The older kids will have lots of options on the other side including monkey bars, 2 slides, a rock wall, and more.

Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy this park. Its gotten out of control with the dogs off the leash. Its the law people unless your at the dog park keep yours own a leash. If you visit be sure to have an aggressive breed yourself that is also off the leash to even the playing field and ensure your own safety.

I use the park primarily as a walking path, one complete loop is approximately two miles. Enjoy the shores of Lake Ida and it's scenic beauty.
SKroots — Google review
Apparently the whole park is a dog park and none of them are on leashes. From German Shepherds to Pit bulls none of them. I tried to walk my dog here but other dogs run up to him freely so he is not safe from these advances or a possible dog fight. Not safe and not kid friendly or family friendly. You can’t go to the playground walk the trail eat at the picnic table. There was literally a German Shepherd standing on one. There is dog park but that doesn’t seem to make a difference here.

Nestled on 20 acres by the lakeside, Lake Ida East Park in Delray Beach offers a range of activities and amenities for visitors. From fishing and boating to a playground, picnic areas, and restrooms, the park is designed to keep everyone entertained. Open from sunrise to sunset, it's an ideal spot for kayaking, canoeing, or freshwater fishing. The lovely picnic area with tables provides a perfect setting for enjoying meals with friends and family amidst the natural beauty.
Beautiful park. I planned and hosted an employee appreciation function here and it was so nice. The view was beautiful, pavilion rental is very reasonable and the space was large enough with plenty of seating and decently close to the bathroom and the grill was a very good size and surprisingly CLEAN for a public park grill.

Lake Ida East Park is operated by Palm Beach County and is a peninsula that extends from the south shore of the lake to the north. It is 20 acres in size making it one of the larger parks in Delray. Note that it's quite deep into the residential neighborhood so be respectful of the neighborhood as you come and go. While the park does not have a boat launch (see Lakeview Park to the east), there are launches for canoes and kayaks. Fishing is allowed here with a permit. There are a number of picnic areas with barbecue grills, a picnic pavilion that can be reserved through the county and a nearby playground with restroom facilities. This park shares the parking lot with the Delray Beach Playhouse. On a warmer morning, it was nice to be near the water. On a hot day, it's got to be fabulous.

What a great play area! The splash of is great! The playground is fun for all ages. It’s got picnic tables, pavilions and benches for all to sit and relax. It’s all fenced in which makes it great for little ones to run. Outside the playground area they have basketball courts. I’m super happy to have found this place 😃

Great playground and splash pad. The wood chips on the ground are a little rough so not as good for toddlers. The playground is a good size and has several slide and climbing options. No swings here though, our toddler was disappointed. The splash pad is real fun and there are chairs and umbrellas around. We tried to go to the second playground with the swings near the tennis courts, but it was locked up.

Not bad for Pickleball. A mixed crowd of mix levels with some jerks that frequent the courts and play pickle czar. The park is nice but it’s right next to the highway so it’s rather loud. OK place for a few hours to have a picnic. Great location as far as convenience for local Delray/Boynton.

I really liked the park, the only consideration to make is the type of floor in the water area. it is very slippery. my two daughters slipped and hit their heads a few times. they weren't running, just walking. I've been to other parks where the floor is quite non-stick and they don't fall.
Samela A — Google review
Found by looking up and this was not as nice as the pictures made it seem. Had to drive through a skeptical neighborhood to get there and once arrived the splash pad was turned off and it was vacant. We didn’t feel safe there and left and found something busier with other kids to play in

Update: These are now 6 new pickleball courts with nice spacing between each court. There are no wind screens on the fencing or divider fencing between courts or on baselines so be ready for balls traveling between courts. First come first serve with rack system. Naturally, it’s free to use. They do have lights but I’m not sure if quality. Could be dawn to dusk schedule. Overall, a welcome and needed addition to the pickleball playing community with free parking next to courts and plenty of shade. Original review: Great park in the south part of Delray Beach next to I-95. Two hard courts with nice space for singles or doubles with seating area. Also includes blended lined for pickleball but you will need to bring your own net. Plenty of free parking and shade trees to rest between games. There is background noise from the nearby interstate but not that bad.

Hidden GEM. Hosted our sons 2nd birthday party and it was perfect. The splash pad was amazing and fun with the playground right next to it. Basketball courts were utilized too for the older kids and even adults.

This park is located within a residential area. It almost feels as a private park for the residents of the community. The main park area has a very small concrete trail and a playground for the kids. When I first got there, everyone who was here had a dog with them. Some let their dogs run lose without a leash. The dogs were definitely having a good time getting to know each other. Only one appeared a bit aggressive. The others were just having fun. Accros from the main park, there's a trail within the trees. Not very long. Maybe just over 1/4 of a mile. North east of the main park, there's a lake with a concrete trail around it. That was better to walk for exercise. Unfortunately there were trimming the large trees in the area today, so it was a bit difficult to get the correct measurement of this trail. I'm guessing about 1/2 a mile give or take. I didn't see any restrooms at this park. In all a nice place. Seems to be a good place to bring your four legged friends to roam around and have a good time. If you are really into getting your miles in for exercise, not the place for you. Just too small. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.

This small park is in the West Settlers Historic District in Delray Beach. Originally called the sands for it's sandy soil, it was established in 1894 as the first African American community in Delray Beach. Settlers came from north and west Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina in order to work in the agriculture industry. The neighborhood is located from NW 2nd Ave to NE 6th Ave. Houses are in the frame vernacular style, bungalow, and mission revival styles that were popular in the 1920's. The neighborhood was added to the Local Register of Historic Places in 1997. Originally developed by the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, as a result of the 2002 Downtown Master Plan, the park was named the West Atlantic Plaza before being renamed in August of 2012 in honor of Elizabeth "Libby" Jackson Wesley, a longtime resident and community activist. Born in DeFuniak Springs Florida, Libby moved to Delray Beach where she worked as a substitute teacher before becoming a full-time employee with the Palm Beach County School District, where she had a 37-year career. Mother to four children, Libby Wesley has dedicated her life to her family and volunteer work. Some of the many organizations she worked with include the Delray Beach Rotary Club, the Urban League of Palm Beach County, the NAACP, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In Delray Beach, In 1978 she was the co-founder of the Roots Cultural Festival, which ran for over twenty years and has now been turned from a one day event into year-round programming and a summer weekend festival celebrating African American culture. Awards Libby Wesley has received include the Old School Square Lifetime Achievement Award; the Service Above Self Award from the Rotary Club of Delray Beach; the JM Family Enterprises African American Achiever's Award; the Sojourner Truth Award; and the Sun Sentinel Publisher's Award. Park amenities include native landscaping, a small outdoor stage, benches, and a bike rack. There are two public art art works in the plaza. Endurance is a steal and mosaic glass installation celebrating the Caribbean pioneers who came to this area to farm and fish. The west side of the park shares a wall with a building on which is painted a red and white mural by David Paul Kay which includes as frog as a nod to Delray Beach's Frog Alley. Frog Alley is a street that had a nickname that has now been recognized officially by the city. Frog Alley is in the West Settlers Historic District and it was settled by Bahamians. When it would rain, the street would flood attracting a chorus of frogs. I discovered Libby Wesley Plaza while grabbing lunch at the Bear Snack Shack next door. This isn't what you would typically think of as a park. It is more of a plaza where the community can gather to celebrate events and performances in the city. For instance a weekly Zumba class is held here. This plot of land also honors the history of the Caribbean pioneers who settled Delray Beach when it was nothing more than a mosquito filled swamp.

Lakeview Park is a delightful escape nestled along the eastern shore of Lake Ida, surrounded by a charming residential neighborhood. This spacious park boasts ample parking and even features a boat launch for those looking to enjoy some time on the water. Visitors can take advantage of picnic tables scattered throughout, complete with barbecue grills for an outdoor feast. The large pavilion is perfect for gatherings and can be reserved through the city’s website.
Both gazebos have construction tape around them at the moment and both picnic tables have been moved under trees, so they are still accessible. Unfortunately, it looks like people have been leaving trash at the tables even though there is a new trash can available just paces away. The playground itself is large, mulch bottom and grassy area to the side of it. It overlooks the lake, so bring bug spray! Very lovely park with good amount of parking, bathrooms and water fountain.

One of Delray's larger parks, the name gives it away. This park is located on the eastern shore of Lake Ida in a very nice residential neighborhood. There is a big parking area and a boat launch with space for cars with trailers. The park has a big pavilion that can be reserved from the city (see the web page for info). Picnic tables throughout, barbecue grills, a nice playground, a permanent building with restrooms and a walking trail that goes around the park. From the lakeside, you can enjoy the birds, perhaps do some fishing, or watch over in the distance as the cars go northbound on I-95. I found it quite peaceful.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a natural preserve in south Florida that serves as a habitat for various animals including alligators and turtles. The land was reclaimed by conservationists to create a wildlife sanctuary amidst urban sprawl. Visitors can stroll on raised boardwalks that lead through the swamp and lake, providing an aesthetically pleasing experience. Large exotic birds nest on tree branches while turtles swim in shallow water with lurking alligators nearby.
Wonderful experience, especially when the babies are in the nests. It's pretty noisy, but very interesting as there are so many different species. Beautiful walk along the boardwalk. Puts you right into their habitat. Couple covered areas to sit and enjoy the shade. I highly recommend going very early in the morning to avoid the heat, because starting at 10 am, it rises to inferno setting. Great experience for everyone! There are restrooms in the parking area which is great!

🪶🐦‍⬛🦆Bird Haven!! Small lil walk through but another beautiful wetland along another very nice boardwalk. Greeted by wood storks and their nest 🪹 you can finally see how these birds nest as they dot the trees like white ornaments. Marsh rabbits everywhere and turtles as well. Very nice areas here with trees overhead. This is a great place to see many different birds together , lovely area to just sit and take in a breeze🌬️🍃🪶

Place is beautiful! So glad someone had forethought to preserve this little piece of heaven in middle of developments & traffic. Lots of critters from minnows and turtles to alligators. Different species of birds, some VERY vocal. Boardwalk in great shape and takes you out to the middle of everything. Once there would not know you are in middle of busy city. Nature photographers love this place.

A very pleasant walk with children in a picturesque place. We went to see for a change. We saw a couple of alligators, bunnies, various birds, iguanas. The only thing is that it is very hot, despite the cloudy weather we managed to get a tan. Therefore, be sure to take water and hats with you.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands - Have been here a few times with my friend and son. It's a nice place to walk and watch the wetlands animals. Tons of birds, turtles, snakes, alligators and lizards. Nice long boardwalks path to follow. Great time to go is when the weather isn't so hot. Also, before sunset a lot of the birds will gather in the trees. It's nice to see.

What a great find! We can’t believe this beautiful park is completely free. We visited in late May and had a perfect experience — it wasn’t crowded at all, everything was clean, and the park is clearly very well maintained. Parking was super easy and also free, which was a huge plus. We enjoyed a peaceful and scenic walk surrounded by nature. We saw birds nesting, plenty of different species flying around, and even spotted a Swainson’s Hawk! We also came across a turtle, which was such a fun surprise. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, enjoy wildlife, and just take in some fresh air. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a calm and beautiful nature escape!

We had an amazing day at this park. We were looking for a place that was near the water, with free parking and easy beach access. This place did not disappoint. A friend from California recommended the park when we were looking for a nice spot to do a barbecue/beach party. My husband and I came to check it out and loved it. Right from the park we called our friends and family and on the spur of the moment got about 30 people together some coming from out of town to spend the day at the beach the next day. The location was perfect, everyone loved the location and beauty of the park. We all had an amazing day we will be repeating again in the near future.

If you're traveling with your furry companion and find yourself in Delray Beach, make sure to visit Lake Ida Dog Park. Nestled within the scenic Lake Ida West Park, this dog-friendly haven spans 2.5 acres and features separate areas for large and small dogs, allowing them to roam freely off-leash. The park is well-equipped with drinking water stations and plenty of shaded spots under trees for both pets and their humans to relax on benches.
Lake Ida Dog Park is hands down one of the best dog parks in South Florida! I bring my teacup Maltipoo here all the time, and he absolutely loves it. The park is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of shaded areas and benches for owners to relax while their pups run around. The small dog section is perfect for him—he gets to safely play with other dogs his size, and it’s so fun watching him interact with all his little friends. One of the best things about this park is the sense of community. The other dog owners are friendly and responsible, making it a great environment for both pets and people. There are water fountains for both humans and dogs, and the grassy areas are well-kept, so I never have to worry about him getting too dirty. The location is also ideal—right by the lake, which adds to the peaceful and scenic vibe. It’s the perfect place for my pup to socialize, get some exercise, and just have fun. If you have a dog and live in or near Delray Beach, this park is an absolute must-visit. Five stars all the way!

Amazing dog park! The small dog park is super shady from the trees and very large. You just have to watch out for the lady with the mean little white dog with feathers on its ears. Her dog likes to attack other dogs and then she will try to tell you that it's because yours is still on his leash. Otherwise, we haven't had any other issues every time we stop by. Bathrooms are clean and the park is super cool. Great area for fishing!

It’s just a lovely place to go to get away from from city life! There are plenty of places near by like Publix, wawa, pizza places and plenty more! Really well groomed trails, plenty of parking, grills for picnics or day camping and I think they even have some bathrooms somewhere. West Delray has sufficient length for about 45 to 50 minute loop but if you need more you can always go around twice. There’s an extensive BMX park with jumps, ramps, oval and alley-oops for the aspiring aerialist (not me). I have never seen any BMX when I’m here, but I’m normally here on weekdays or in the mornings

Disc Golf Course Review Specfically: A decent short course that plays predominatley in the woods despite it being within a flat, open park. The first 8 holes play within a tight-knit cove of tall pine trees, before it opens up into the park for some long, flat shots across the back 9. The course finishes with 2 water carries before diving back into the woods for the final few holes. Overall I would say this course was just ok. The front was stimulating due to the tight fairways but the back was a lot of forgetable, flat shots with minimal to no obstacles in the way. 5/10 overall which is roughly my standard rating for park courses.

Delray Oaks Natural Area is a hidden gem in Delray Beach, Florida, offering a sanctuary for those seeking quiet moments in nature. Managed as part of Palm Beach County's natural area system, it spans nearly twenty-five acres and features a dense canopy of oak trees providing shade on sunny days. The site was acquired through preservation efforts and offers accessible trails for visitors to explore the diverse biological communities and species within the park.
Beautiful quick trails to enjoy some Florida nature and bird watching. There’s a paved out and back walk that ends at a wood viewing platform among the trees and marked dirt trial through lots of trees and foliage. There’s some uncovered seating throughout both. It’s a nice spot to visit and see some birds, plants, and lots of oaks. Very peaceful! It’s all free and there’s a parking lot up front. Both trails are easy walks in terms of footing and level. The paved path is especially well-maintained and smooth. It’s a nice tranquil park for a quick walk.

Nice Tltiny trail which leads to a nice wooden deck under the shade of trees. Great for a brisk walk to get away from the city life. I didn't see any bathrooms around so keep that in mind if you visit.
Michael J — Google review
We enjoyed the natural area on a Saturday morning. The longer paved trail has folks on it besides us but mostly we were alone. The viewing platform at the end is great. We saw zebra butterflies, dragonflies and lots of lizards. There is a fair amount of poison ivy so be careful to stay on the path!
Smalls P — Google review
Delray oaks is a beautiful nature area in an otherwise suburban/office part of the city. It has one main trail that is completely paved, leading to wooden deck with benches at the back of the park. Their is one dirt offshoot trail where you can encounter some wildlife like snakes and turtles/tortoise (I am not sure which they are) as well as birds through out the park. The walk is very easy and covered for almost the entire duration. If it is raining, the deck is wet but other parts of the trail stay relatively dry. The main point of interest for me in the park is the large trees with sprawling limbs that intertwine with each other and create a very beautiful sight to look up at. These trees are a must see when you go to the park and they are easily seen above the trail throughout your walk.
Spencer M — Google review
Really quiet spot that you wouldn't expect to see on Congress on Delray. Good spot to clear your head

Peaceful, paved walking trail through a small area of beautiful “Florida woods.” The live oak trees here are huge and absolutely stunning! There are signs throughout your walk that feature photos and information about the trees and plants. It is located directly off Congress Ave, so the “peacefulness” is up for debate. May not be for someone looking for a quiet, longer trail without hearing cars go by from a short distance.

Leon M. Weekes Environmental Preserve in Delray Beach is a serene nature reserve that safeguards Florida's native ecosystems and endangered subtropical forest ecoregions. The park offers nature trails, a pavilion, playground, and parking lot for visitors to enjoy from 8am until dusk. The semi-fenced playground area provides shade in the mornings and is suitable for children aged 4 and up.
We love the new playground. It is meant for an older age group but my almost two year old was still able to enjoy with a watchful eye.

Definitely for an older age group. I would say 4 and up. Has a slide and lots of climbing. No swings. A bench by the playground with some trees. It is fenced in. No bathroom. Plenty of parking for a neighborhood park along with a bike rack. Pavilion with 3 picnic tables. Has a small butterfly garden. There is a gate that leads to the preserve. We were there for half an hour and a Delray Beach park ranger circled by in a car.
Nefertiti T — Google review
Renovated playground: good in theory l, poor in execution. Continuing the trend of playground CrossFit the new structure seems like a welcome renovation. However, the designer seemed to have been given a checklist of elements they must include and had to make it work while still justifying their architectural degrees (if this is actually true I know the pain with my degree). The issues show with a rock wall under the slide to a dead end, an amazing slide great for adults to slide with their kids but the path to the slide is roofed making it difficult for adults to make it there. Great for active climber, balance beam kids but a pass for swingers and sliders.

I like it. There have a little butterfly garden. It is a great place for hiking also.but not recommend for who scared snake 🐍.
Moshiur K — Google review
This is not an environmental preserve ... It's an abandoned lot of scrub land overrun with kudzu invasive vines. You can't even see the plant species underneath the kudzu. The best adjective for this place is SKETCHY. As a woman who lives nearby, I would NEVER go here alone. There's always sketchy loiterers in cars in the parking lot and the playground is never used. This place should be razed and turned into a community garden or something - that way at least SOMEONE would be taking care of it.
Emily S — Google review
Nice new playground, didn't walk the scrub trail tho so I don't know anything about that.
Katy H — Google review
Basically, it's a neighborhood playground with a small parking lot and a separate wild scrub area with three trail loops, one paved, the other two mainly sand. The total trail distance must be around a half.mile. The scrub is high, dense and bland, with obscured views though chain link fences to railroad tracks, backyards and car dealerships. The traffic noise from US Route One dominates. There's a pavilion next to the playground with some benches, but it often seems occupied by smokers and shabby loiterers. Closed from dusk to dawn with a locked gate

Very nice little park. I didn't remember seeing any bathrooms thought.

30Lake Biwa Pavilion

Park
The Lake Biwa Pavilion is a beautiful park with plenty of space for picnics. The pavilion is great for relaxing and having a healthy lunch, and the views are lovely. It's also a great place to meet friends and relax.
A friend of mine had a baby shower here. Very quiet, very private and served the guests well. Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the iguanas will attempt to eat food left outside of the wooden boardwalk area. For me this was awesome to watch and would not consider this a negative
Blyss O — Google review
Spent some down time with family. Wonderful small decks to relax on. Could use benches to rest and take in sun. We encountered different types of turtles/fish, some Iguanas and a squirrel. Absolutely Beautiful day. There was a huge pavilion with an area for catering or cooking to serve alot of people.
Billie C — Google review
Great area to have a party or outdoor event. Great spot for grilling. Bring placed on s small hill really helps give it a nice breeze. Bathrooms were immaculate. Only wish the connect 4 game was fixed to make it playable again. Small piece at the bottom seems missing allowing pieces to fall and makes it unplayable. You can also of course walk to the Morikami Museum near by which is also great. I would totally change to five stars if only there were a bit more trails available. The boardwalk to the lake view was unfortunately closed as well which would of been nice to be able to enjoy the views from.
Michael B — Google review
This is a cute park at the entrance to the Morikami Japanese Gardens and Museum in Delray Beach. The main amenity in this park is the large Lake Biwa Pavilion that can be rented. It holds up to 125 guests and there is a restroom, water, and electricity. The pavilion comes with tables and 5 grills. Also in the park is a small playground on sand with a slide and swings, smaller picnic pavilions, picnic tables, and grills. My favorite part of the park is the board walk that takes you down to a pavilion on Lake Biwa. It is so peaceful to sit and watch nature, birds, and the water. I have passed this park many times going to and from the Morikami and always meant to stop and visit the picturesque lake pavilion you can see from the road. The museum has the excellent award winning Cornell Cafe but if you don't want to eat there this park would make a lovely picnic spot as well as a great place to hold an event.
Ariel W — Google review
This is a small park in front of Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens off Jog Road. It has one large pavilion which can be rented for parties/events. Most of the time the pavilion is empty so you can use it. There are two other small covered pavilions with 4 picnic tables and paved walkways making wheelchair/walkers access easy. Six other uncovered picnic tables are in the area. The main pavilion has bathrooms which are always in good condition. The park has a large grass area where people take their dogs for runs and have seen people flying drones there. There is also a small playground for kids. It’s not the best playground in the area but if you have young kids they will enjoy it. The gem of the park are the walking trails through wooded areas. These are not marked in any way but the park is small enough that you can’t get lost. My wife and I often do 5K runs there since it’s one of the few parks with shaded paths. It’s just the right size to get 5K done. I’m not really sure where this park ends and Morikami starts. It feels like one large park. Morikami has a fenced area for paying visitors only. The park is worth a visit if you want to have a picnic, take a walk or run or just take a beach chair and hang out without any crowds. The parking area is large but people also park in the back grass field.

The purpose of this outing was to visit the Japanese Museum and Gardens but got sidetracked by the activities at the pavilion. Wonderful vendors, healthy foods, scents, merchandise and conversation. We will make it to the Museum another day. Well worth the detour. Fun for all!! Second Saturday of each month.

31Merritt Park

Park
Athletic fields & basketball courts feature at this recreational area with a compact playground.
This place is amazing. The playground is old but great for kids. But the new BURKE Obstacle is just better then you can imagine. It can be played on by little kids with parents. Then for older kids and adults you can test your skills and athleticism.
Sports W — Google review
This lovely park in a residential neighborhood could be quite the hangout. The park includes TWO lighted softball fields, two half-court basketball courts, a fabulous playground set and public restrooms. I like that the park is surrounded by a low fence, which means parents can easily see who is approaching and you can also be sure kids aren't going to wander off nearby as easily. As much fun as it looked, I did not play on the ninja playground course. I'm sure it gets a lot of use. Today was just a nice walk around the park. Note that some of the parking around the area is private and designated for those residents only.

This is a great local park with a huge field. There is a small playground in an outdoor bathroom. It looks like the field is the big attraction. A baseball diamond and a huge space for anything from soccer to archery to football. It's located in the neighborhood so parking may be tight. Definitely a local park.
Keith ( — Google review
Beautiful and open grassy park. It's in a up and coming neighborhood that in a few years it will be one of the best neighborhood around. It's about 1.3 miles from the beach ⛱️.

This is my Publix and never had an issue with store, pharmacy, or customer service. Great place to shop and plenty of parking.
FEDERICO F — Google review
The park is composed of mostly sports fields (baseball diamond and open fields) with a tiny playground set off to the side. Parking is a problem if there is any amount of people there.

32Currie Commons Park

Park
Complete with a lighted little league field, Currie Commons Park is pretty darned cool. Remodeled recently and upgraded, it includes a three story playground frame. This thing is pretty darned awesome. The park also has a multi-purpose field, press box, concessions stand (only open during some games) and a restrooms building. There is street parking all around - be sure not to block any driveways! No games going on today and no kids in the playground. I had a nice walk around.
Bruce K — Google review
We love going here. Well maintained and super spacious with lots to keep the kids occupied. Quiet and very kid friendly.

Nice neighborhood, clean, well maintained and so much fun! My daughter had a blast and we enjoyed soaking up the sun while sprawled on the grass.

We love this park but wish there were bathrooms and maybe some swings.
Michelle S — Google review
Is nice and most of the time clean, but the games are in need of maintenance they are not working as well.
Dabeyba H — Google review
Tried to take my nephews here to play on the playground and there was two homeless people sleeping in the play set. Don’t bring kids here
Jaime E — Google review
Bathrooms are locked. One picnic table with benches. Nice shade. Lots of turf. There are signs that say no dogs allowed. The tower is about 4 stories high and you have multiple ways to get to the top. There’s also smaller equipment for babies which is great! Did see a good amount of trash thrown around even though there are 2 trash cans available.

33Plumosa Park

Park
Great location close to Atlantic Ave.
Jim P — Google review
A clean small park in an easy to access location. Decent parking and some sports amenities.
Ismo H — Google review
This is the most undeveloped park that I have come across in Delray Beach. It looks more like a vacant field than a Delray Beach Park. The city didn't even put up a sign with the parks name. Plumosa Park is located in the Plumosa Park neighborhood of Delray Beach. The neighborhood is a mix of custom-built homes and renovated historic properties, creating a unique and eclectic architectural landscape. It is prized for it's proximity to Atlantic avenue and downtown Delray Beach with its shops, museums, galleries, restaurants, and nightlife. Plumosa Park is 10.5 acres. The park is fenced in and has an abandoned air about it. The parking lot for this park appeared to be used more by area residents for overflow parking since not a soul was in the park. Plumosa Park amenities include a water fountain, two dirty picnic tables, a soccer net, baseball field, and a walking trail that ran around the perimeter of the park. You could come here to practice baseball, kick a soccer ball around, or walk for exercise. Compared to the other well appointed parks in Delray Beach, it feels like the city just did the bare minimum with this one.
