Modern Australian restaurant
Summer Salt Restaurant offers an upscale dining experience with a blend of modern Australian cuisine and Asian influences. Situated in a stylish beachfront venue, the restaurant boasts a light-filled and breezy atmosphere that perfectly complements its laid-back coastal vibe. Under the direction of renowned restaurateur Bill Drakopoulos, the iconic spot on Elouera Beach has been transformed with sleek modern design, minimalist furnishings, and cool blue hues that harmonize with the stunning ocean views.
Great food and a stunning location! After a bit of a hiatus, Summer Salt is back! With BYO reinstated, we were delighted by the quality of the food and service, enjoyed with a favourite bottle of ours. Glad to see that this restaurant with a long history is back to being great again :)

My husband and I had a delicious meal at Summer Salt Restaurant today. We decided to have the winter special and was not disappointed. All the staff were very attentive and courteous however Lucie was a stand out, making sure everything was just perfect for us. From our drinks to even the timing of our meals, so as to not feel rushed. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon with good food, fine wine and beautiful views.
Raylene C — Google review
Dined in on the $59 menu to try out this restaurant. Service seemed rush, each time the waitress came over to wait on us etc, she came by so quickly before I could even get a word in. No eye contact when taking orders or even looked at me. On the other hand burrata was fresh and creamy. Duck terrine was dry. Fish was bland. The beef was great. Salad was bland. Sticky date pudding sickly sweet so was not able to finish. Overall it was okay, food was well presented though.
Anny — Google review
Had the winter special menu with friends here in August. It was a cold rainy and windy day, but the staff were not letting the customers who arrived early in because they open at noon and were having a meeting. I was already in because the door was open. Someone quickly came and locked the door so the customers were lining up outside. Perhaps the meeting could be held a bit earlier than making it a last minute deal. Maybe the order can't be taken till 12pm, but have the staff available 10 minutes before 12 to seat customers. It just felt unwelcoming and the first impression matters. Overall food presentation was good except my friend commented the desert part was a bit of let down. On a sunny day, the view would be much nicer.
Syd R — Google review
Wonderful, professional service, beautifully presented mains and a nice variety of wines, though expensive. We came for the Winter Special and if the sun had been up it would have been a great view of the beach. The mains were the highlight we got the barramundi and pork belly. Sadly the option we wanted for entree wasn’t available and the 2 we chose weren’t that good. The dessert sounded elaborate but essentially was a mildly lemon tasting creamy sponge cake. The winter special is a good deal to try the menu but I would not pay full price to eat here. They also charge a surcharge on weekends which I did know about from the website but something to consider, if you’re on a budget.
Ally M — Google review
First time attending with the new management. Lunchtime winter special. BYO with corkage. Enjoyed a lovely 3 course menu overlooking sunny Elouera beach. Staff accommodating and atmosphere has improved with ceiling being acoustically treated.

Great dining experience! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious; we couldn’t fault a single thing. It’s definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

am / 小红书配图): Endless ocean views, surfers dancing on the waves — Summer Salt Cronulla is stunning. Old-school service charm: moving our chairs, warm menu explanations, walking us to the door. So rare, so heartwarming. Great food, top-tier service. Almost like dining in Japan

Sealevel is a vibrant waterfront restaurant situated on the beach in Cronulla, offering breathtaking ocean views and a lively ambiance. The glass-walled eatery specializes in Modern Australian cuisine with a focus on seafood. Despite being quite loud, the staff are exceptionally welcoming and attentive, creating an ideal setting for special celebrations.
This was our second visit, after eating there on our 2023 trip to Sydney. The quality of service and food was excellent again. After our 2023 experience of a bright moonlit meal, I asked for something similar this time. Unfortunately, there was still daylight and some cloud, so the restaurant could no repeat last year's experience. However, they pulled the stops out and provided a view of a double-rainbow. Looking forward to seeing what they can do for us on our next visit.

We came here for dinner on Wednesday night. This is my 3rd visit and it’s as good as ever. The food is amazing. We had Barbecued Queensland King Prawns & Orecchiette as entree. We loved both, especially the King Prawns was so tasty. Orecchiette was good & quite filling. We both had Char Grilled Darling Downs Beef Fillet as mains and it was cooked perfectly. The cafe de paris butter going very well with the beef. As dessert we had the Pistachio Mille Feuille. Love the refreshing taste of the raspberry gelato. The mocktails also sweet as I liked it. The staff all were polite & attentive. Will coming back!
Monica S — Google review
Honest review is overpriced because of the service and the view 😭 Husband and I read lots of the other reviews before we came for a family gathering, and most of them were just talking about the view and the service. And it is true that their service is excellent. However, when the restaurant is busy, it could get a bit loud and stuffy as there seems to be no ventilation. The food itself was a bit over seasoned, and it doesn't seem that the dishes have any special taste that you'll remember after except for being a bit salty (could be a strategy for you to get more drinks)
Ha P — Google review
Almost Exceptional. Unique location with breathtaking views. Excellent staff delivering attentive service. Devine meals well executed Extensive wine & drinks list. We enjoyed a celebration lunch here, set menu for a large group that had 4 great options (except a GF entree). The allocated staff did a superb job for our entire meal including dealing with several dietary requirements. The only drawback is the ambient noise level.
Matthew M — Google review
It was my first time dining here. I loved it. Great seafood platters, excellent value, and you can BYO wine! Great views, too. We had a nice catch-up here with a friend. It was perfect. We weren't made to leave after 2 hours. Service was really good. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back when i'm in the area again.

Found this place by chance on out excursion trip to cronulla ⛱️. We decided to try out this fine dining restaurant. From the food to the service, atmosphere and presentation everything was great.Had the opportunity to congratulate the chef and owner on the quality of the food and excellent service. We ordered pumpkin tarts, lobster tail ,lamb and delicious lemon tarts. We loved everything 😋 we ate,it was so delicious fresh and well put together.

I normally come with my family but decided to go by myself. It was just as incredible as every other time. I was welcomed not judged for being by my self and all the waiters made sure I was looked after. I could not stop smiling through the whole lunch. It felt weird ordering the duck as my family normally shares the Seafood platter but the duck was juicy, flavourful and not chewy. But my favourite dish was the Burrata, I’m not a big cheese person but it was heaven. It truly is such a beautiful place to come and dreaming of my next visit😊👌🔥

The waitresses were amazing and I cannot fault the food at all. Thanks for keeping our glasses full and the good times rolling!

Ok - wretchedly noisy, but I loved it anyway. The food is what I suspect is Asian Fusion. My meal was crispy pork belly in plum sauce with apple. Yum. The background music was contemporary jazz or something similar. And the waitress was very friendly and conscientious. All in all, had a great time.

Our group really enjoyed everything we had - so full of flavour - the special Crab soufflé was a standout - great cocktails too

Another restaurant, another sharp bone. With the owner sitting next to us gloating about how much money he is making to the table near us and being a general black hole to our experience he can not regulate the standard of food coming from the kitchen and this is the result. Just with the poor attitude of this owner and rudeness towards his staff im not coming back. Waiters were amazing though!
Zazz P — Google review
Great food , so delicious. The lady that served us was great, very personable. The Nepalese man had no idea , serving wine on the left side of settings and heavy handed with reseting crockery and cutlery. Not complaining at all but important to mention. We'll be back.
Craig W — Google review
I always loved Alphabet st.So I booked a table to celebrate my son's birthday. As a vegan and gluten free, I only had one option that was a yellow curry dish that was fantastic. i had dinner last week there (aug 25) For my surprised, they removed my favourite dish and the only option was okay, nowhere near the one I love . So for me, I would not go back there. But if you are not vegan or vegetarian, I highly recommend as the rest of the family was extremely happy.
Flavia T — Google review
Alphabet Street consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience! The service is incredibly attentive; the staff are always checking in, know the menu inside out, and ensure your drinks are always topped up. You never have to wait for anything, which really makes for a relaxing visit. The team truly makes the occasion special, and the food is outstanding. Everything is fresh, and there's a fantastic variety to please all foodies – the crab soufflé is a definite highlight! And we can't forget the Apple Martinis – they're like drinking sunshine and a major reason we keep coming back. It's truly a great place to spend an afternoon.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the picturesque North Cronulla Beach, Giro Osteria is a delightful Italian eatery that captures the essence of modern dining. With its chic ambiance featuring an open kitchen and elegant marble-topped tables, this trendy spot serves up an impressive array of dishes that cater to all palates. From delectable squid paired with roasted garlic aioli to indulgent polenta and parmesan chips drizzled in truffle sauce, every bite is a celebration of flavor.
Yeah, this place rocks… look, we love a friendly waitress/waiter who knows the menu and wine list, especially if they are young and stop for a chit chat, it’s a buzzy place, slightly understated too! Food, absolutely top notch, there was a special of lobster pasta, not cheap, but it was a special evening, so we went in, and it had all the right flavours, al dente pasta, good amount of lobster and presentation with a lobster head 🙌 the ragu was also solid! Starters, both great, the stand out was the pork belly arancini 🤤 and everything was clearly fresh. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure.
Jean-Philippe S — Google review
You really would be hard pressed to find a better Italian restaurant. The food is just spectacular. Every morsel of food is delicious. We got so carried away I only managed to take one photo. It was the tuna carpaccio and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The staff are all so warm and genuine. And they know the menu perfectly. I cannot recommend this place any more.

I went to Giro Osteria for the first time on Sunday night. It was simply 'magnifico'. Ilaria was kind and welcoming. The team was excellent. We loved the food - I had the rigatoni - and dessert - WOW!!!! I had the Giro Gelato. 10/10. We were chatting till late - and did not feel that we need to rush to finish our conversation. Grazie. Ritorniamo.

Superb food, delicious cocktails, and timely service. Our waitress was a delight and had great knowledge of the food and drinks served at the restaurant. Highly recommend the gnocchi, arancini, and apple martini!
Jade A — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a lovely family dinner here last night. To be honest, I often find the customer service in and around Cronulla a bit hit-and-miss — too many young staff who lack training or genuine interest in hospitality. But this place was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely warm, attentive, and seemed to really care about our experience. Special thanks to the German waitress (sorry we didn’t catch her name!), Julieta and Sandra — they were all fantastic. The food was delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavour. Yes, some dishes are on the pricey side, but the quality really speaks for itself, so it felt worth it. It was my husband’s birthday, and to top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert with candles — such a thoughtful gesture that made the night even more special. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Raquel M — Google review
My husbands new favourite restaurant! Took a little bit to sit down and get staff attention, but it was a very busy Friday night. Once we were acquainted with our server, she was amazing, funny, and attentive (massive thank you to Sandra as she really made our night). The burrata was great, but the Cacio e Pepe was the star of the night and delicious. The wine was nice, but the Apple Martini is by far the best in the shire and a must have!!! We will be back for sure.

The Pines Cronulla is a stylish coastal restaurant that exudes an air of casual elegance, reminiscent of the Hamptons. Its menu showcases contemporary Australian cuisine crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with dishes that evolve with the seasons and feature refined culinary techniques and global flavors. The establishment boasts the expertise of Michelin-trained chef James Metcalfe, known for his tenure at esteemed restaurants such as Becasse and St George.
I can honestly say of the 300 g Scotch fillet that I had to yell is absolutely spectacular. I can hardly recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing steak. The ambience and the staff are amazing and super friendly and can’t wait to come back again soon.

Had a dinner date here and it was a lovely night. Service is attentive and pleasant, cocktails are yummy though not very strong. Food is nice; pictured is the Marinated Tuna, Risotto of Peas & Broadbeans, and 250g Jack’s Creek Koji Cured Flank Steak.
Stephanie M — Google review
We ordered lamb and ideally would have liked a light leafy salad, but there was one very simple option, so ordered crispy kale from starters. The lamb was perfect with its accompanying pesto. The kale however had way too much oil, so we only managed to finish half. Lamb is recommended and can easily feed 3 big eaters or 4 small eaters with 1-2 sides. So my recommendation would be for The Pines to add something like rocket parmesan salad as a side option. Service was good and we were asked if we liked the food, which we did. Just a note they have 10% service charge on Saturdays too.
Nadia — Google review
I recently celebrated my 50th Birthday at the Pines... they couldn't do enough to accommodate 50 of us and look after us. The entire day was magical. The food and service EXCEPTIONAL!! Amazing value....

We had such a great time at The Pines and are thankful for the experience. The staff went above and beyond in every way. They were friendly, helpful and created a lovely atmosphere. The food was fantastic - fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We had the “Food with Friends” set menu. Every dish felt special, and the lamb shoulder was a real standout, perfectly cooked and served. The menu was well balanced in size and flavours. We've had some very nice cocktails from the bar too. The interior is elegant and cozy. Thank you to everyone at The Pines for a wonderful time, appreciate your work.

First time here, and won’t be the last!! Great location for breakfast this morning … early open (6:30) so perfect for catching up before the hectic day begins. We were served by a lovely waitress, sorry didn’t get her name but she was the only one on so she will know who she was. Great food to go with the service and atmosphere… perfect on those windy days as they have clear blinds that can be used. Lovely view of sunrise which is always a good thing. Definitely recommend the pancakes ❤️

My mum recently visited The Pines Cronulla for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. She was served by the restaurant manager, Zach, who was kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food. The breakfast and coffee was delicious. While there, my mum mentioned she’d like to come back for my welcome-back celebration lunch in February. Zach took the time to show her the lunch menu, explain the dishes in detail, and make thoughtful recommendations. His professionalism and genuine care really stood out. We will definitely be booking for February and are very much looking forward to celebrating at The Pines and seeing Zach again.

Queen Margherita of Savoy is a delightful Italian eatery that captures the essence of traditional Neapolitan pizza and classic Italian dishes. Nestled in a cozy dining room adorned with charming details, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of old-world Italy. The decor features rustic booth seating, vibrant hanging baskets filled with chili and garlic, and nostalgic posters from Naples that transport diners to the heart of Italy.
There wasn’t anything I could fault with this place. Perfect service, food and ambience. The chef was pleasant and accomodating- even though I was 10 minutes before close (I did rush there to make it). The pizza was vegan and delicious, like truly amazing delicious.

If I could give 4.5 I would - everything was beautiful and tasted very authentic without being TOO over the top authentic. We ordered garlic bread and pepperoni pizza to share for 2. Pizza was melt in your mouth literally, the cheese and pepperoni were beautiful. The base was also delicious but as it’s so thin the pizza was getting soggy quickly which is the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars. Loved the ambience, was funky but could also be intimate as well. Just across the road from the beach so perfect to go for a beach walk after dinner :)
Jessica D — Google review
A dining experience how it should be. Beautiful food is expected, but what is more surprising is the genuine warmth from the staff. I have dined here a few times now and walked out feeling something I haven’t felt in a long time, which is like a valued customer. This place deserves every success, come for the pizza and stay for the hospitality. I’ll be back soon!

Had a wonderful dinner for a group of 10 at Queen Margarita. Great service, great food, awesome selection of Italian wines and unreal value for money. We had 1 vegan in our group and they made sure they had plenty of dishes available for them to enjoy. Love going to this place and we will definitely all be back. Thanks for a fantastic night.

In my quest to find some of the best Italian pizzas in Sydney, it took me to Queen Margherita of Savoy. The restaurant has a casual vibe and gets quite busy. It's good for large groups. The crust and dough was light and the Margherita and traditional garlic bread was on point. Unfortunately the Salssicia Patate Rosmarino was too salty. We did let the staff know, but we didn't want a replacement, as we were full already. The Tiramisu had a generous serving but the lemon sorbet was a bit too icy. Saying that, I still recommend this restaurant for the Pizza lovers! 😋👍

Fabulous meal as always! The best Napoli Accredited Pizza in Sydney. Authentic with fresh ingredients, beautiful flavours, so delicious. Staff are attentive & very helpful. Great set up, comfortable seating & lovely ambiance. Also has full Vegan menu options. Highly recommended.

If you're seeking a relaxed dining experience right by the beach, Benny's Cronulla is the perfect destination. Nestled on Tonkin Street, this charming eatery boasts stunning views of Gunnamatta Bay and is surrounded by lush greenery, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner. Under the guidance of acclaimed chef RJ Lines, Benny's offers a delightful fusion of Mediterranean and Australian flavors. Signature dishes include Bluefin Tuna carpaccio and Barramundi fillet paired with fresh clams and cherry tomatoes.
Having dined at Waterline before, I was excited to see the changes, and what a difference. I had the best evening with three of my girlfriends, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service, incredible food, and an overall unforgettable experience. The food was next level—each dish was absolutely delicious—and the wine and cocktails were 10/10. Our waitress, Dionne, went above and beyond to make our evening extra special. She truly made the night memorable with her warm and attentive service. If you're looking for a fun and delicious dining experience, you absolutely can't miss out on Benny's. We've already booked to return in the New Year, and I can't wait to be back!
Natasha C — Google review
Highly rate Benny’s for its food, service, ambience, and location. This place has to be Cronulla’s go-to restaurant destination! It certainly deserves 5 stars from atmosphere to food to service. We’ll definitely be back soon after our first experience exceeded our expectations. Best you book in advance as tables here go quickly. I took my partner and almost 2 year old daughter to Benny’s for Mother’s Day dinner, and had an amazing experience. The food is top quality and reasonably priced - our two main dishes, the 350g Rangers Valley MB6+ Sirloin and Rigatoni Pasta, were so good, steak was cooked to perfection. I have to say the Rosemary and Sea Salt Focaccia is absolutely delightful so much so we doubled up on our order, not content to have one serving. Service and wait staff are attentive and friendly. I have to say the time from order placement to meal delivery was just right, we had enough time to enjoy our appetisers before our mains came out. Looking forward to coming back during daylight hours and sitting outside.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most beautiful lunch date at Benny’s Cronulla, and it’s a memory we’ll both hold close for a long time. Escaping the city for the day, we stumbled upon this coastal gem and were instantly welcomed by the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and share an amazing meal. The food was absolutely divine. The corn ribs were a standout – juicy, full of flavour, and so satisfying that we couldn’t stop talking about them. Every piece of meat we tried was tender, cooked perfectly, and bursting with flavour. You can tell there’s real love and care put into every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Benny’s made our day feel effortlessly romantic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy quality food and create beautiful memories with someone special.

I have been wanting to try Bennys since it opened, and it did not disappoint. The staff went above and beyond, the atmosphere was a vibe and the steak and frites was delicious. I haven’t had such good service in years. We will definitely be back!

We discovered this fabulous restaurant unexpectedly as Pippi’s was booked out. Benny’s is better than Pippi’s, the food was exceptional, the surroundings were beautiful and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

A chose this location for so many reasons - and - it was perfect. I wanted a calm, yet welcoming and friendly spot - that we could sit outdoors and enjoy the company of my guests. The menu - well … the corn ribs! AMAZING!!! Everything was perfect - I had the eggplant schnitty. Service was excellent. I just wish there was a coffee - maybe even an espresso to finish off my meal. Thank you again! We will be back.
Sophie B — Google review
I really wanted to like this place, but our experience left a lot to be desired. The service was honestly disappointing. We felt ignored. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, only half capacity. Our waitress initially asked if we’d like table water, we said yes, but after about 15 minutes, nothing came. Our server was nowhere to be seen, so we eventually had to flag down another waitress from a different table just to ask again. Even worse, the one Coke Zero we ordered didn’t show up until after our meals had already been served (about 50 minutes later). This made the whole experience feel disorganised and inattentive. Overall, the food was good, but the service needs serious improvement. A bit more attention to guests and follow through would make a big difference.

We really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch at Benny’s. From the moment we arrived we felt so well looked after. We required wheelchair access for our booking, and the restaurant was easy to access with all amenities needed. We were looked after by Emma and Maddie. Emma greeted and seated us, and she was so welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was great. From our table of 4, 1 was vegetarian and well catered for also. The wine list was great. Maddie the restaurant manager was very knowledgeable and provided a relaxed friendly atmosphere, we enjoyed chatting to her. She is such an asset to the team there as is Emily who leads the kitchen. The dishes were delicious, created with good quality produce and they well presented, creating a family friendly share plate feel. We look forward to returning again soon.

Italian restaurant
If you’ve ever envisioned dining in a charming seaside villa along the Puglian coast, then "Pino's Vino e Cucina al Mare" is your dream come true, nestled in Cronulla. Owner Matteo Margiotta has crafted an inviting atmosphere that reflects his family travels, adorned with terracotta pots and olive trees that evoke the essence of southern Italy.
We had our son’s baptism at Pino’s after having visited for dinner late last year and loved it. Matteo is very passionate about what he does and you can see this in what he puts out. He worked with us to create an event tailored to our needs, went above and beyond and was just so easy to work with. We had the front glass room as a private event. The food was exceptional and plentiful, the wine and cocktails are some of the best I have had, staff were attentive and friendly. The setup was immaculate. I cannot fault the experience and will definitely be back again!

This is the best Italian food we've had outside Italy, and in some ways is even better than we've had in Italy. The food, the service, the wine list, the venue - all absolutely spectacular. We had the 800g ribeye (and a bunch of other food) and it is the best steak we've ever had. Stunning. The fish and the pasta were both beautifully done too. We've eaten at the original Pino's Vino e Cucina in Alexandria many times over the years and that was the gold standard for us and genuinely our favourite restaurant anywhere in Australia. The Cronulla chapter delivers food, wine, service, cocktails and vibes at that same level. Pino's continues to be our favourite restaurant and it delivers dining at a level that is without equal. Bravo! Eccezionale 👏🏼👏🏼🇮🇹🍷🥩

Second time experience this fantastic restaurant. Was even better the second time around. The friendly, attentive service was exceptional. The food was on point with every dish. The staff also accommodated a request for bone marrow on the side of our steak - off menu. The tiramisu was 10/10, wine list next level, cocktails sensational. My new favourite restaurant.

It was our tradition to annually celebrate at Pino’s Vino in Alexandria. So when we moved to Cronulla in 2025 we thought it would be the sad end of that tradition. Luckily, Pino’s moved ahead of us and we are so delighted to confirm that they are even better than before. The duck ragu melts in your mouth, the brioche carbonara was a big and pleasant surprise. The wine was fantastic, including a great pairing from Sicily. Our all-time favourite, the burrata, continues to be the best you’ll find outside of Italy. And as always, the service is perfection. Amazing.

Our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first! The food is always fresh and full of flavor. The place has such a nice, chill vibe. Big thanks to the team for the great service, very friendly and attentive as always. Can’t wait to come back again soon! ❤️🍝

We recently celebrated our son and daughter-in-law’s afternoon wedding at Pino’s in Cronulla, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Organised in just three weeks, Matteo and his incredible team made the entire experience seamless, joyful, and truly unforgettable. From our very first conversation, Matteo was warm, accommodating, and completely invested in making the celebration special. Nothing was too much trouble—every detail was taken care of with professionalism and heart. The service on the day was flawless—attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. The food was next-level amazing. Each dish was a standout—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The drinks were flowing, and the whole atmosphere was vibrant and full of love and laughter. The afternoon setting created such a beautiful, relaxed mood, and the way the team transitioned the space from the ceremony to the reception was seamless. They thought of everything, which allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the moment. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the venue, food and service were—and we couldn’t agree more. A heartfelt thank you to Matteo and all the staff at Pino’s. You gave us a day we’ll remember forever. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that delivers style, warmth, amazing food and genuine hospitality, look no further.

Not worth the price you pay. We are so ready to be impressed but we paid premium for chewy squid, overly salty risotto and uninterested staff. For the price you pay your want a dedicated waiter for your table we had four different people including one waitress who tried to give us olives and bread after we had our mains (we didn't order this). The duck ragu platr was amazing though, beautiful dish. However, for such a beautiful location that smells amazing with their limoncello scenes candles and its romantic atmosphere, it was such a let down. My friend also accidentally got charged $100 for a no show fee even though we rung them well in time to let them know we were late due no parking available and paying a full bill after dinner. We were then offered for us to use this fee as a credit for a future dinner instead of a refund for charging us incorrectly. Weird end to a weird evening.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness by the team — a special mention to Luca and Fabio who made us feel instantly welcome. The whole restaurant has this relaxed, holiday-by-the-sea vibe that makes you feel like you’ve slipped away on a mini vacation. The customer service was superb — genuine, attentive, and perfectly paced. Every dish we tried was exceptional: the focaccia was light and addictive, the king prawns were perfectly cooked, and the homemade pastas were pure comfort. We finished with desserts that were absolutely mouthwatering. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality of both the food and the service makes it worth every cent. We travelled over 45 minutes from Lane Cove to Cronulla, and it was absolutely worth the trip. We’ll definitely be back!

Bobby's Cronulla is a Mediterranean-inspired seafood restaurant located just steps away from Cronulla Beach. The restaurant offers a variety of dining experiences, including an all-day coffee cart for morning coffee and sunset Spritz's, a restaurant for long lunches, and a beach club perfect for cocktails and snacks.
Bobby’s is a fantastic seaside restaurant with stunning ocean views and a relaxing atmosphere. The open-air seating enhances the dining experience, whether during the day or at sunset. The food is well-prepared and beautifully presented—the prawn pasta was rich and flavorful, while the schnitzel was crispy and generously topped with cheese. The dessert was a perfect sweet finish. Service was attentive, and the ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food by the water!

Been meaning to visit since Zimzala was replaced and it was a lovely experience overall. It is a nice little spot for casual dining along the esplanade. Food was good. Only miss was the soggy and chewy fried eggplant from the starch batter absorbing all the hot oil. It was fresh and hot but the batter just doesn’t work. Service was okay, felt pressured to order drinks multiple times.
Clare P — Google review
I’ve dined at Bobby’s a few times now and it truly never fails to impress. Today was one of those perfect seaside days, so a spontaneous lunch was in order and what better way to kick it off than with a cheeky spicy margarita? As always, I had to order the kingfish ceviche, my go-to dish and consistently delicious. We also tried the stuffed zucchini flowers this time. They were nicely prepared, but I wasn’t overly keen on the meat filling, so probably wouldn’t reorder those. For mains, we shared the tagliatelle seafood pasta and the cucumber, feta and black olive salad, both of which I’ve had before and highly recommend. Fresh, flavourful, and perfect for a light seaside lunch

Visiting Bobbys was such a pleasant experience! A cutsie venue by the ocean with the most UNREAL food!! I had the Kingfish and the Stracciatella with focaccia, both of which were absolutely delicious. My server Jessie was an absolute delight, so genuine and helpful and she really made my experience the cherry on top. Ella, the lady who took my payment was so easy to talk to and super kind. SUCH GOOD SERVICE!!! I didn’t get a cocktail, but boy did they look good coming out. Will definitely be back again on my next visit to Cronulla, but this time I’m bringing my family. Thanks for the great visit xxx

Outstanding food, great atmosphere, and flawless service from Mia and Skye. The stracciatella with buttery bread was a perfect start, the charred octopus was tender and flavourful, and the steak was cooked perfectly with excellent sides. The egg tagliatelle, broccolini with chili, and crisp fries were all spot on. Cocktails were fresh and well-made. Bobby’s; a must-visit in Cronulla. Well done Mia and team!

We went for a special occasion, our anniversary. We were greeted without a smile by the last host who saw us, gestured and basically seated us without any warmth. We were attended to by about 4 or so different people in the evening. One gentleman was beautiful and warm, and for him I would have given 5 stars for his service alone. The others lost 3 stars for that category. The zucchini flower was disappointing, to be honest and served on a napkin was a bit odd/questionable. The garlic bread looking thing in the photo with the smooth paste on the top, filled with salami and cheese was delicious!! My husbands seafood pasta was really yum, and my main beef and mash were amazing. I didn't like the peas as they were under cooked and crunchy. The mash was absolutely delish and a stand out! I wish there was more of it! There was no crunchy chorizo on mine that I could see or taste, despite that being on the menu, but never mind. The atmosphere was extremely loud. I was just thankful that on top of the noise of the guests there wasn't loud music playing too. Parking was terrible on a Friday night but not impossible.

If you're looking to indulge in a culinary gem in Cronulla, Yalla Sawa is the place to be. This charming family-owned restaurant, whose name translates to "come together" in Arabic, offers a delightful array of Mediterranean-inspired dishes that celebrate fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. The menu features an enticing selection of vegan-friendly sharing plates, including roasted pumpkin with harissa and dukkha, as well as the must-try falafel served with pickled turnips and tahini.
We went here for a date night. Our table wasn't ready yet (we were early) so we were seated at the bar. Our lovely bartender made me a cocktail off menu (you just have to ask). Amazing start to the night. We ordered garlic labneh with Turkish bread, lamb shanks with cous cous and lamb shish. The food was delicious. We will definitely return for another date night

Went to Cronulla for the first time and hubby was craving for Lebanese food, it was last minute so we couldn’t book through the app anymore but delighted to find how we were accommodated as walk ins upon arrival. The staff were friendly. As someone not familiar with Lebanese food the menu was too minimalist for me. I had no idea what I was going to end up with, thankfully my husband knew. Meals were fairly priced. We were told they were good for sharing, but most serving still looks like for a single person unless ordering multiple items. I enjoyed the salad and the octopus. We had a good time at Yalla Sawa.

On a chilly winters night we discovered Yalla Sawa. Inviting welcome from staff, we sat in a cosy corner. Enticing menu, it was hard to choose! Everything we ordered was impressive. Cauliflower, octopus, whole trout, and green beans. Everything was a flavour bomb and presentation spot on. Reasonably priced wine to match. The best meal out I’ve had in a long time! Can’t wait to return.

Excellent Lebanese food with a modern twist. The setting was wonderful, close to the beach and Cronulla mall. The staff were lovely and hospitable. The food was excellent. Walked in with no reservation to try our luck to hear the blues music. The team were so friendly and accomodating and we sat at the bar. What a great ambiance, menu and extensive wine list. We selected three dishes to share between two and they were delectable. I especially enjoyed the baked eggplant, my sister the kofta and cauliflower dish. Coupled with a passion fruit mocktail and lovely glass of Lebanese red wine. We left very satisfied. The place was flat out but they still managed to smile and create positive vibes. Bravo and we will be back

I have never left a restaurant review before, but feel compelled to do so due to having what was definitely the most terrible experience I’ve had at a restaurant. We had a table of 13 adults and 5 kids. After 7 of the adults had finished their meals, the remaining 6 were still waiting for theirs. We had to alert staff who had not come over to check if we had received all of our food or how the meals were, only for them to realise there had been a misprint on the receipt. There was literally empty pizza stands on our table... how did staff not realise? It then took another 40 minutes for the remaining 6 meals to arrive. Our guests were starving. Some of the adults who had already finished their meals actually left before the remaining 6 adults even started eating. I was genuinely so embarrassed and mortified to have invited my family to that restaurant for lunch. In the nearly 3 hours we were there, we were only asked if we needed drink twice.
Alyce M — Google review
Located in an Art Deco building that had formerly been a bank, this restaurant is relatively stylish and atmospheric. It is five minutes walk from parking and about ten minutes walk from Cronulla station. The waiting staff were excellent and I felt well looked after. I admit that both my wife and I made the same mistake interpreting the menu at one place and ended up getting something different from what we expected, but that was our mistake, not theirs. I felt the portion sizes were good and the food was really tasty - adored the ragu.

We came in thinking we had a booking they were professional and they were able to fit us in. The waitress was very polite and prompt. The food was very nice, served fresh from the kitchen. This place would be date night, family catch up or special events venue. Highly recommended.

Thought I would take the wife out for a nice dinner. Made a booking. Arrived and the restaurant and it wasn't busy We were stuck on a seat out of site away from any waitresses. I ordered a peroni. Took the order. They came back 10 minutes later and the keg had run out. So I bought a coke. We had to clear our own dirty plates. For the entrees. Waited nearly an hour for the mains. Mains came out and the pasta had tiny proportion. Customer service non existent and rude. Be warned big rip off and way better places to eat and will get your moneys worth

Really like the pizza here. The staff are always so lovely and quick. Great place to stop after a long esplanade walk, and the rosé is nice and an easy drinker. My husband liked the beer options, and it's very dog friendly. I keep going back, so I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Hurricane's Grill & Bar Cronulla Beach offers a unique dining experience with its elevated Mediterranean-inspired menu and stunning interiors. The 300-seat venue includes a restaurant, bar, outdoor seating, and private dining room, making it a luxurious addition to the beachside of Cronulla. The restaurant has managed to capture the original atmosphere and service that made Hurricanes a favorite over the years. Customers highly recommend trying the pork ribs and rave about the amazing side dishes like potatoes.
“The food was absolutely spectacular, showcasing top-notch quality and flavor. The staff were highly professional, ensuring excellent service throughout the experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, perfectly complementing the awesome location. Drinks were well-prepared and enjoyable, rounding out a fantastic visit. Highly recommended!”
Peter K — Google review
The Good: Let’s start with the positives. Hurricane's Bar & Grill Cronulla has some good things going for it. It’s definitely all about the grill—the food is delish and plentiful. The scallops were to die for (even if a little on the pricey side for just four), but with truffle cream, avruga caviar, vincotto, and furikake, they were a luxurious bite. The calamari was fresh, the burgers super filling, and the steak? Perfect. Paired with creamy mash, sweet potato fries, and a crisp green salad, it was tender and beautifully presented. The venue itself is gorgeous, right across from the always-buzzing Cronulla Beach, and the service was spot-on from start to finish. The Room for Improvement: Now, onto the parts that need a little TLC. While the food and presentation were impeccable, the prices were definitely on the higher side—more than you'd expect from most bar and grill spots. The beachfront location probably plays a part in that, but worth noting. Also, parking was an absolute mission. Not the restaurant’s fault, of course, but trying to find a spot near Cronulla Beach on a sunny Sunday? Let’s just say it’s not for the faint-hearted or short-tempered. Would I Return? Sure, but with a plan—maybe on a quieter day, and definitely not when I’m tight on time or patience for parking. Living on the other side of Sydney, it’s a bit of a trek, but the food and experience are hard to beat. The Verdict: In conclusion, Hurricane's Bar & Grill Cronulla serves up incredible food in a beautiful spot with fantastic service. It’s not cheap, and parking is a beast, but if you’re in the area—or up for a little luxury by the beach—it’s absolutely worth a visit. Just bring your appetite and maybe your parking fairy.

Next Door Cronulla is a popular spot that offers great service and food, along with excellent coffee. It's an offshoot of the well-known Sealevel restaurant and attracts a youthful crowd, especially during the signature Sunday Session in summer. The cafe is known for its delicious breakfast options like deluxe bacon and egg rolls. Additionally, visitors can enjoy creamy lattes at Grind Espresso and award-winning gelato flavors at Frangipani Gelato Bar nearby.
Delicious, fresh and big sized portions. We had an amazing lunch here right by the water. The breakfast plate is complete on its own but don’t skip on the charred pita and hummus. The schnitzel sandwich was also on point and was another highlight.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere, and although busy , it wasn't super loud. Dinner at "Next Door" in Cronulla was an absolute delight! The food was truly outstanding, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It's wonderful to find a place that caters so well to both people and their furry companions.

Great little spot for lunch. With ocean views, great cocktails selection and amazing food. Also pet friendly with plenty of outside table for your furry friend.
Laurence L — Google review
An absolutely beautiful spot for breakfast / brunch. Next Door boats sea views (if you sit outside) or an interior bustling with activity, and is incredibly popular for good reason. They don't take daytime bookings, so expect to wait around 20 minutes for a table at peak times, and bear in mind that you'll likely be waiting in direct sunlight. Once in, the food is fantastic. Fairly standard Australian brunch food, but done to a very high standard and at prices consistent with the local area. My wife said it was the best bacon and egg roll she'd had in some time. I will say that the hash brown was a little tasteless, but everything else was great. Coffee is fantastic. Excellent flavour without too strong an initial hit, and some attempt at latte art to boot. The iced coffee was also great and amongst the best I've had in Australia. They've tried hard with their decor and "extras" (branded coasters, takeout cups, takeaway bags, etc.) and it really shows. You'd expect this to be an overpriced and underachieving tourist spot, but it is exactly the opposite. Highchairs were available and the staff were very good with our little one (and knew to put coffees well away from wandering bands!). We will definitely be back!

C.C. Babcoq in Cronulla exudes a seriously cool vibe, making it the perfect spot for a long lunch with friends. The restaurant offers a flavorful share-style Mediterranean menu and an exciting selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. Guests can opt for the set menu and even add a drinks package to make it bottomless. Known for its fresh food and vibrant drinks, C.C. Babcoq has become a favorite among the Sutherland Shire community.
It's one of our favourite places to stop and eat or just pop in for a quick drink visit. They are dog friendly, and Syrah loves a little rest here more than us. The drinks are always on point (coconut margarita is the best), and the food is fresh, and the portion sizing is very generous, so make sure you are hungry. The staff are always friendly, accommodating, and efficient. You have to visit!

We had such a great dinner here last night. The menu was original and interesting, and the food was so delicious. My son ate for free and loved his meal. The service was fantastic. I couldn’t decide between two different wines, so the waiter let me taste both. My husband’s cocktail was delicious. We will definitely go back.

Visited this restaurant for dinner and it was a great choice, the service was flawless and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the cocktails, in particular the coco margs are out of this world good. We shared a few plates, the food was fresh and each dish had a unique twist that brought more flavour out of the ingredients, it was delicious and we will definitely be back to try more menu options!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere - warm, welcoming, and matched by the friendly staff. The food is outstanding, with the chicken being a solid 10/10. The potatoes and salad are just as impressive, and the chips? Easily the best in the Shire (yes, they come with chicken salt!). Another standout dish is the wagyu skewers - delicious and full of flavor. Don’t skip the extra pita bread served warm, it adds a special touch to the meal. The cocktails are a highlight too, especially the popular Coco Margs and the Fruitylicious for those with a sweet tooth. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, sip on creative drinks, and have a fun night out - all without breaking the bank. Keep an eye out for their specials; we visited on Mother’s Day and I was treated to a complimentary cocktail for mums, such a thoughtful gesture!

We were a group of 11 celebrating an upcoming wedding. Our server, Fynn, from the start, made sure our luncheon was a memorable one. We chose the set menu, which provided perhaps too much food. The starters were particularly tasty, such as the broccomoli dip & scallops. The pistachio tiramisu was soft & subtle in its taste. They catered for alternative diets. The drinks offered many types of cocktails & a good deal for Verve Cliquot champagne.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others—especially anyone in the entertainment or service industry—about how this restaurant treats people. They booked a performers, benefited from the entertainment (which brought in customers and enhanced their atmosphere), and then refused to pay. No apology, no explanation—just blatant disregard for the time, effort, and professionalism of the artist involved. This isn’t just disappointing—it’s unethical. If this is how they treat the people they hire, it makes you wonder how they treat their staff or how much they really value their customers. Plenty of other venues around here that operate with honesty and integrity. I strongly recommend supporting those instead.
Penny T — Google review
Food and service was fine. My family and I were seated outside with the problem being the lighting was very insufficient at the table with just a tiny little imitation candle light provided. We could barely see what we were eating, had to use the torch on our phone to really see our main meals on arrival. Take the tip over winter and improve your lighting for the outside tables..
Scott G — Google review
Food and service was very average. The entertainment was outstanding. Great to see a venue providing this level entertainment out in Cronulla. Have been absolutely disgusted to since learn how disrespectful the venue is in not paying their entertainment on time. A venue that doesn't appreciate the entertainers that make them busy on a usually quiet night don't deserve to be busy at all. If you are only going for the food and service then don't bother.

Johnny Hu Chinese Restaurant in Cronulla is a modern eatery and bar located at the end of Cronulla Mall. The restaurant offers a contemporary take on Chinese cuisine, featuring handcrafted dumplings and delectable BBQ pork buns. Guests can enjoy an array of creative cocktails, including the popular chilli martini and chilli coco margarita. The ambiance is vibrant, with a chic beachy vibe that invites patrons to relax and savor their dining experience.
Was so good Must try the black pepper beef Peking duck And all the dumplings

The food was great, but the music was loud and more suited to a nightclub than a restaurant. It took several attempts asking to turn it down enough, and apparently the manager wanted this music so there was no option to change it. I think you should start listening to customers. The decor was nondescript and there was no tea on the menu - only alcohol or water. This is unusual in an Asian restaurant, and I recommend that you remedy this. A few changes and you'll gain more customers.👍🏻

Tonight we had a family dinner at Johnny Hu for my sons birthday. The food was outstanding and came out very quickly. We had Chicken San Choy Bow , various Dumplings, Salt & Chilli Squid, Mongolian Lamb, Honey Chicken and veg fried rice - all of it was amazing. At the end of the meal, they brought out a fried icecream to sing happy birthday for our son. Our waiter , Cooper was excellent. Really friendly, informative about the menu and attentive. Thanks for making it a great night, we will be back!

Arrived at 6pm to find the restaurant quite crowded, unfortunately our table booked 2 weeks in advance wasn't available, which was very disappointing. The menu while adequate, I expected a bigger selection.. although this did not spoil our order. Entrees were good followed by some nice mains including salt and pepper prawns, waygu beef and Mongolian lamb. Service was good although a little hurried to get us out for a second cover which we were not told about at booking. All in all, a pleasurable night but I did expect more both for price and reputation. Recommended but can't give it my 5 star rating.

I have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and the food has been great. I haven't been to Johnny Hu's for12 months or so but decided to get some take away there on Sunday night. My food was on time, I ordered salt and pepper squid, combination chow mein and a rice. The salt and pepper squid was put at the bottom of the other container's and was soggy as, and the container of combination chow mein was half full and pretty ordinary and the rice was OK. For $61 it was way off par and nothing like my last experiences there. The staff seem very young and I'm not sure up to it. Disappointed.

Outstanding Dining Experience at Jhonny Hu Restaurant in Cronulla Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jhonny Hu Restaurant in Cronulla, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This review is a testament to the delicious Chinese food, impeccable service, and the exceptional treatment we received from the owner. Upon arriving at the restaurant, my party and I were seated outside. Unfortunately, the heater was not working as expected. However, the owner quickly took notice of the situation and promptly offered us a solution. He graciously invited us inside and even treated us to a complimentary drink while the heater was being fixed. This act of hospitality truly went above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The owner himself took the time to ensure our comfort and engage us in pleasant conversation. We had the opportunity to discuss some of the other restaurants he owns, and we were genuinely intrigued to try them in the future. His passion for food and dedication to providing an excellent dining experience was evident throughout our interaction. Now let’s talk about the food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The menu offered a wide range of options, catering to various preferences and dietary restrictions. What sets this restaurant apart is not only the quality of the food but also the attentiveness of the service. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to accommodate our needs. They made helpful recommendations, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. In summary, Jhonny Hu Restaurant in Cronulla deserves nothing less than a five-star rating. Homer Rogue Taverna is a delightful culinary treasure that truly captures the essence of Greek cuisine. Each dish feels thoughtfully crafted, showcasing a genuine passion for food. The house-made bread, fresh from the pizza oven, is irresistibly fluffy and addictive. One standout dish is the fish spanakorizo—vibrant and delicate, it’s an experience unlike any other! The atmosphere at Homer is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who create a welcoming environment despite being busy during peak hours.
I am an American visiting on a business trip. I am also vegetarian. The food was incredible! Try the manouri baked cheese! The service was also great! The food came quickly, the staff was helpful, and the owners were engaged with how diners enjoyed the food.

Fresh, Tasty and Delicious. A great games table for the kiddos. Plenty of outdoor dining space and a incredible new venue that allows you to step into a warm welcoming place to taste & experience beautiful traditional culture and the Rogue Taverna.

An absolute gem. Every single dish felt so considered and special! you can truly taste the love in the food. The house-made bread, fresh from the pizza oven, is light, fluffy and completely addictive. And the fish spanakorizo? Wow. Easily my favourite dish!!! delicate, vibrant, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The staff were warm and welcoming, and everything came out quickly, yet never felt rushed. I already know I’ll be back again and again. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

Cronulla has scored a big win with Homer. Such a great time, incredible food, people, music, drinks. Couldn’t stop smiling.
Richard D — Google review
Food was delish, classic Cronulla prices though. Not super familiar with Greek food, but everything we had was legit delicious. Service was a bit slow, had to wait to order and no one came back to offer more drink orders which felt like a missed opportunity for them. That said, the staff were clearly under the pump and running around nonstop. Packed house on a Friday night, so fair enough – just needs a few more hands on deck. Would go back for the food!
Kara L — Google review
We decided to try Homer since we are greek locals. The atmosphere was lovely and the young staff were extremely friendly. Always smiling and looked happy to be working there. If I’m honest (and we eat out a lot especially in the east and at many greek restaurants) the prices of some dishes were very expensive for what you actually get. My partner ordered Ouzo and it was the smallest shot I’ve ever seen served anywhere if I’m honest. I ordered a coke and at $6 for a can with a straw in it and no glass left me questioning Cronulla prices. That aside we had the Manouri cheese which was nice accompanied by a Koulouri. But $24 for cheese. Somethings a miss. That was very tasty. Then we ordered the octopus which was delicious but honestly for two people to have only 3 tiny pieces on a skewer for $16. If you at least put four pieces for two to share it would be a bit better. We then ordered the Family dish. Ribs were TO DIE FOR. If they just had a dish with ribs I would devour it every time. The souzoukakia with cinnamon were not pleasant to me. I haven’t had souzoukakia with cinnamon and the entire taste threw us off. Sadly we couldn’t eat them. Was it worth $64 hmm it was a small dish but it’s not too bad with the potatoes. But can we talk about the tiny marouli salad with feta. Sorry but $17 is a rip off. The markup is insane. Dessert was galaktoboureko. Again it had soooo much rose in it, it actually made it hard to eat. Sometimes I think you should keep things simple than try to mess with traditional flavours. However, I did like that they didn’t do the typical tzatziki and roast lamb etc. there was some innovation. Some things were successful. Others didn’t hit the mark for me personally. I would give it another shot and try again. It’s only new and I know how hard it can be especially at the beginning. Total bill for two people was $185 which I think is a lot when you are only having a tiny ouzo and coke.

A great experience! Service and food was outstanding, and definitely felt looked after. Restaurant is in a really nice spot by the water so anywhere you end up sitting inside is pleasant. Will definitely be back!

This venue is spectacular. They are right on the water, so the views are gorgeous. They have outdoor and indoor seating. We didn't have a booking, and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. The table was cleared and cleaned after the previous people. Sounds obvious, but other places I've dined at this past week, this didn't happen and I had to ask someone to come clean the table. Service was excellent. We dealt with three different people and all of them were professional and super friendly. The coffee is very good. I had a long black. The only reason I've given a 4 star overall is because my food was bland. I had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon. The eggs had no flavour, and even after adding salt, it was still tasteless. Everything else was fine. Service, ambience, coffee, and view. Just the food let the restaurant down. I suggest not ordering the scrambled eggs. 😜 One last issue with this location is finding a car park. May be worth considering public transport or just be ready to wait a while to find a park.

Quick take our order, Egg & Bacon roll with a cap, nice place by the beach with views if sitting in the restaurant. Watching other food orders come out to people in the restaurant looked delicious. Definitely will take the missus down for a breakfast and walk.

SO delicious and tasty! Firstly the most stunning location right on South Cronulla beach, super f4wsh clean and engaging decor inside. The coffee was made well and has outstanding presentation. I got the salmon as the main, so we'll cooked full of flavour and the presentation again was excellent. The desert was my overall fav exactly what I felt like, perfectly made and OMG so delicious this topped off a really great experience. Would highly recommend a 5 out of 5 from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Zimzala has spectacular views over Cronulla Beach and the ocean which is what initially brought us there. However, the food was also fantastic. My corn fritters were crispy on the outside, but still nice and soft on the inside. I would have just liked some spice from the salsa, but it was more just cherry tomatoes rather than a salsa. The tomatoes were juicy and fresh though. My husband’s breakfast burger was also great, but could have been bigger. My mother-in-law’s eggs Benedict with bacon on sourdough looked absolutely epic and was a very generous portion size. Would definitely go back.

I hosted my 30th birthday a few months ago in their Annex room and I truly enjoyed the lovely space and attentive staff - this is one of the best restaurants in Cronulla in my opinion. My private room was immaculately set up when I arrived, the staff were all very polite and professional and the food was incredible. Thank you again Zimzala for making my night so special.

Finally booked at table here for Breaky. 7:30 is a good time to avoid the busy crowds. Being greeted at the front door with an excuse me while the young waiter enters an order. Good Morning, Won't be a minute would have been nicer. We were sat on a table obscured by the folding window. Plenty of other options available it seemed less than considerate attempt to just plonk us down! The menu looked simple with a few tasty options. The Coffee was good and we enjoyed the Chilli Scrambled eggs, a favourite for me but no where near the best I've had in the past year. My other half enjoyed the Pickled Ginger of the Okonomiyaki pancake. Worth a visit

We’ve been a customer since we moved to Sutherland Shire half a decade ago. Definitely the best pizza and arguably the best pasta you can find around. Come visit them or order online as often as you can. There might be some changes if you follow the shire fb group. (Photo is a dessert as there are so many pizza and pasta ones.)

Came here 3 weeks ago. Had 2 slices of garlic pizza and a seafood marinara risotto. Took ages to get the risotto. It was so big, delicious and filling. Came back tonight and dragged 2 other couples with us. I had the seafood marinara risotto again, but with no appetiser. Again, it was so plentiful that it took me ages to eat it. So delicious! My partner had the garlic prawns in a main course size. Yum! The others had spaghetti gamberi and prawn pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

We had a delightful dinner at Little Italy. Even though we walked in and the place was completely booked, staff was really kind to find a table for the two of us. Staff’s attention and service even on a houseful night was impeccable. Hurricane mocktail was good and anti-pasta - Bruschetta and Marinated Olives were flavourful. Vegetarian Pizza had a nice charred rustic thin crust with quality cheese and toppings. The star of the show for us was the dessert - Tiramisu, the mascarpone was so airy and sponge cake had such a beautiful kick of espresso. Perfectly balanced. We were so hungry after a long drive that I missed taking pics of the food as good as it tasted, will visit them soon again and do justice to it 🙂

Opah Restaurant is a casual Greek establishment located by the ocean, offering diners the option to bring their own wine. They provide an all-you-can-eat experience with small portions, which is suitable for those who enjoy variety. However, some customers reported that the staff did not consistently offer refills or check if they wanted more food before closing the kitchen. Despite this, overall opinions of Opah Restaurant were positive, praising its delicious cuisine and accommodating service.
We got the meat platter for two for $110. It fed us for lunch and gave us enough left over for dinner. Everything was hot, tasty and succulent. Highly recommend. Service and drinks also great.
Jess — Google review
On our inaugural visit to this restaurant, we had high hopes for an authentic Greek dining experience reminiscent of our time in Greece. Regrettably, the food fell short of our expectations, offering only a mediocre taste without any standout qualities. Even our Greek friend, whom we had hoped would appreciate the cuisine, was left unimpressed. While the fare wasn't necessarily bad, it certainly didn't achieve greatness either. Opting for the Yumcha all-you-can-eat option proved to be a mistake, as many of the enticing menu items were unavailable. The much-anticipated 16-hour roast lamb dish turned out to be a letdown, with an excessive amount of oil and an overcooked texture. Despite the disappointing culinary offerings, we did find solace in the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, while we enjoyed the ambiance, the food failed to live up to our expectations.
Alex S — Google review
Ok, firstly. The term “yum cha” really needs to be changed, it’s quite confusing actually… it’s actually just tapas. So “all you can eat Greek tapas” would be more accurate. When the food looks like it is running low on the tables, it would be nice for the staff to come around and ask if any top ups are required, that way it looks like you’re attentive and the customers are getting what they’re paying for. The restaurant was not easy to locate especially if you are driving at night and don’t realise it’s upstairs from Zinc bar. Food wasn’t too bad. The pita and dips were nice. The meatballs were a tad on the salty side. The lamb was nice, the halloumi was halloumi, was good (not much else to be said), the chicken drumettes and salt and pepper squid were nice and had good texture, the tiropites/pastries were quite bland and the fries needed to be cooked longer so that they were actually crunchy. Drinks were really good. Apart from not being asked if we needed any top ups (with exception of drinks) the customer service was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and hospitable. Food came out relatively quick. All in all the place was ok. Not worth the $55 per head for all you can eat unless you actually get your food topped up.
Riley L — Google review
Nice food. Small portions, which is fine as it's all you can eat. However, they weren't really checking if we wanted top ups when we finished our plates. Then they were closing the kitchen before we were finished. They didn't even check with tables if they wanted more before closing. Overall nice enough but expensive for what we got.
Hayley R — Google review
The staff are very welcoming. I found the service button on the table quite helpful when we wanted to order more drinks. I highly recommend sitting outside the terrace as there are nice views. You can’t go wrong with a trio of dips, and they had a good selection of wines too.

Located in North Cronulla. Have always seen Opah, heard about Opah, friends have visited reguarly but this was my first visit! Welcomed as soon as i got to the door by the bartender. I bet this place is more popular in summer with indoor/outdoor balcony dining style. The most popular is the $45 all you can eat menu, cheaper menus are available in off-peak times. Its fantastic value for the quality of food you get. With the big photo of Santorini on the wall, it makes you feel like a part of you is dining in Greece. Matt from Opah was great, explaining the restaurant’s background and each dish in details - us foodies love this! The service was fantastic throughout the night and we felt very looked after. The cocktail of the night, was advertised on the table and was the drink of choice in the group. Pacific Pash $16; Fresh lime, lychee, passion fruit, peach schnapps and vodka shaken on ice - couldn’t taste the alcohol at all, so freshening and generous serving. Playing favourites; Taramosalata with flat bread - my fav greek dip and this didn’t disappoint Grilled Haloumi Cheese - this was SO yummy, i don’t know what they did to the cheese but it melted amazingly Tiropites w Honey & Thyme - the honey and thyme absolutely made the dish 16 Hour Spit Roast Lamb - melt in your mouth amazingness FAMOUS Death By Chocolate$20 Double chocolate ice cream, brownie, choc nibs, choc sauce
& whipped cream (serves 2)

Our reservation was at 12 pm and it is now 3 pm and we still haven’t had a main course. We are part of a table of six but get small servings of four and five. The manager is rude during requests. Staff are not treated nicely by manager... food was ordinary. Lamb was mutton. Would not recommend for large groups or fulfilling meal, perhaps light snack or meal prior to going out.

Nestled in the heart of Cronulla, Henrys is a delightful dining destination that beautifully blends indoor and outdoor spaces, making it perfect for gatherings with loved ones. This restaurant stands out for its focus on meat dishes, offering an array of succulent lamb and wagyu options that are sure to impress. The menu is a creative showcase of flavors; guests can indulge in delectable share plates like wagyu steak, sashimi, beef tartare, and chicken karage—all elegantly presented.
Nikkei cuisine is a fusion of both Japanese and South American cuisine and Henrys absolutely nailed it. We started off with some 'Sydney Rock Oysters' with a ginger mignonette, followed by their 'Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi'. This had a chipotle emulsion, fried shallots and to my surprise, pickled cucumber. The flavours and textures worked and the presentation was just gorgeous. Of course I had to order the 'Wagyu Beef MS7+ Tartare' and wow! It was so unique and I loved that it was served with nori sheets. This was a favourite. We also ordered the 'Seared Canadian Scallops' served on creamy white asparagus then topped with Avruga caviar and prosciutto dust. Trust me, this tasted as good as it looks and sounds, and the scallops were cooked beautifully. Recommended by our waiter, we ordered the 'Crispy Flathead Tacos'. The fish was great, not too oily and the Habanero mayo was the perfect match for it. The only issue with this dish was that we ordered one taco each.. I NEEDED MORE! We continued with another starter, the 'Truffle Polenta Chips'. They looked more like cubes than chips, but they were still delicious. I would have preferred them a lot more crispier on the outside but that's just me. They were perfect as a side dish to the main dish we ordered, the 'Tajima Wagyu Striploin MS7+ with Baby King Mushroom & Japanese Jus'. I didn't hate this meal but it wasn't my favourite. I usually like my steak medium rare and without mushrooms, so this was just a personal preference. It was so hard to choose between the three desserts because they all sounded so lush! Again, we asked out waiter for her suggestion and she went with the 'Deconstructed Goat's Curd Cheesecake' which honestly, was the one I wanted the most. The taste of the goat's curd really came through and since I'm a huge fan of goat's cheese, I didn't mind it at all. Perfect way to finish off our lunch! I've also got to mention that halfway through our lunch, we were surprised with a couple of their signature cocktails. These are dangerously delicious! I highly recommend this place for any occasion! Dates, family get togethers, brunch with the ladies. It's such a chill venue with a great menu and I would definitely return!

We had an amazing night at Henry’s! The polenta chips, fish tacos and lamb rump were especially delish. Service was super friendly and the setup is cute. Hope to come back one day.

Oh my, I loved the service, the food and the ambience 😍I would highly recommend this Venue... They had fresh seafood, gorgeous cocktails that could never disappoint anyone’s taste buds... They had a lovely waiter who loved chatting who was very passionate about the food that he created... Simply divine.. I would come back to this venue in a heart beat... I went to this venue yesterday, as the covid-19 was easing and they placed us in a spacious open area away from other guests eating... I felt safe and clean from the virus... 💕💕 The food was magnificent... my favourite dish was the oysters and cocktails... mmmmm

Positives: Fresh ingredients ( açai was so refreshing) Avocado toast was amazing, great flavour combination Plenty of choice on the menu Close to the beach Consistent quality (this is our go to cafe in Cronulla) Downside: We were paid $1x extra (we realised this ourselves and had to check this with the staff team) The team mixed up our drink orders (we were given a small latte when we ordered a big) Bit busy at the counter during lunch time in the weekend

The food is at best ok. I don't believe I will die after my meal however my friends that had the fish may not it. I have genuine fear for my toilet bowl.....

Amazing and friendly service every single time I come her! I visit Cronulla aver 6 or so months and this place has never been 100% every single time without fail. The service is welcoming and friendly and the waitstaff is specially Taro is attentive, friendly and helpful you would think it’s his own business! (Give that guy a raise) The food is so delicious and I totally recommend the egg and bruschetta toasted roll! I had to order a second one it was so tasty! The coffee is always spot on, I’m particular with my Java and always ask it to be served at 55° and it was “not a problem” very tasty coffee too served perfectly! The outdoor seating area is welcoming in the sun and the fact that it’s dog friendly ticks all the boxes! 100% try this place!

Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing coffee. Dog friendly. Honestly, I would say this is the best place in Cronulla to have coffee. Super friendly staff super amazing coffee. Update! Back again and still amazing food and service and coffee.
Jaydon C — Google review
The food was very nice and enjoyable. However, the service could be improved. Some staff members were chatting instead of attending to customers, and our table was left uncleared for quite a while. We had to ask twice before it was cleaned. With a bit more attention to service, this place could be excellent.

Nestled in the heart of Sutherland Shire, LOAF Cronulla is a must-visit café that draws locals and visitors alike with its inviting atmosphere and delicious offerings. Known for their consistently excellent coffee, LOAF serves up hearty sandwiches crafted with thick-cut bread and an abundance of fillings.
Amazing, juicy and flavourful chicken with delicious creamy feta and an actual good gluten free toast. Usually when you ask for gluten free, other restaurants give you bad, unfavourable and short bread. Not loaf. They give the best food and service. Waiters and servers were super kind and helpful whenever I ask for anything. Atmosphere is also great with fun and vibrant music and an overall happy place.

Go no further…. Home baked treats… the muffins, banana bread , slice etc etc are the best. Coffee is sooo good, always get our fussy order 100%, best sandwiches with thick fresh bread & loaded with fillings, to die for avocado toast topped with morsels of delight , fabulous friendly staff. Awesome little spot so close to the beach! look, the sandwiches weren’t anything I’d go out of my way for - BUT, the atmosphere coupled with such an easy take away option make this place worth trying. I wouldn’t say the sandwiches were bad, they just weren’t anything overly special. The deserts, WOW! Amazing - and the chips were beautiful! Will I be back? Yes! They’re so convenient and well priced, with such a stunning view so close by 😍

Loaf is my absolute favourite place to go to in Cronulla, I could not recommend more. The sandwiches are always spot on, made with care and super filling - just what you want! The sweet treats are delicious and pair perfectly with a lovely coffee. They also do their take away iced drinks in cans, which is so fun and perfect for summer! The staff deliver top service, they are all so wonderful, hard working and helpful, plus you are always greeted with a smile when you walk in! Definitely pop in here, you’ll leave feeling happy and full of good vibes 😎🤍

Japanese restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Since its inception in 2016, Green Shiso Japanese Restaurant has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike, thanks to owner and head chef Simon's decade-long expertise in crafting contemporary yet traditional Japanese cuisine. The restaurant offers a delightful grab-and-go cabinet filled with fresh options or the chance to pre-order sushi feasts online. Diners can indulge in an à la carte menu or opt for the Omakase experience, where the chef curates exquisite dishes featuring the freshest fish available.
Wow this place exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and intimate with only 8 people all together. The chef makes whatever they feel like using the most fresh ingredients. You sit up at the bar/bench top so you get to see what they are making. Every dish was unique and had the most amazing flavours. By the end we were very full so it's not only amazing quality ingredients but you will be full by the end. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the chef was happy to talk to us throughout when he had a break between dishes. They are fully licensed so you can get some lovely sake to go with the meal. We brought our own sake, you just need to pay corkage which we didn't mind at all. We will definitely be back!
Selena M — Google review
The food is consistently delicious, the staff are enthusiastic and patient in their service, and the ingredients are fresh. I really can't think of anything more to ask for. It's a hidden gem of a store that I keep coming back to.
Isabela C — Google review
The staff at this restaurant are inconsiderate, unprofessional and not at all friendly. They never smile or have any interaction with cusomers other than blunt, transactional conversations. Having sat down to eat in I ordered a number of dishes, which I was made to pay for immediately i.e. not after the meal. This wasn't great, but not a problem; I paid and waited for my food to be brought to the table. I asked for a glass of water and was sullenly advised I had to buy water as they couldn't provide drinking water. They don't have drinking water available for their customers?! When I asked them how they washed their vegetables, etc. in the kitchen they replied that that was a separate system and they would not allow customers to have that water. They refused to bring me a glass of water. I have never heard of such an appalling situation – a paying customer eating in and they couldn't provide a glass of water??? I am in Cronulla all the time and have NEVER been back nor will I ever go back. Truly disgusting lack of service.

We went Omakase here to celebrate my father's birthday tonight! The staff was very accommodating and even had Happy Birthday decorations set up prior to our arrival. The omakase menu is cleverly designed and the chef made some very delicious dishes! My personal favourite was the hand roll which was amazing!
Calvin — Google review
Had dinner here to celebrate my father’s birthday! Whilst there are some good options, there isn’t an overwhelming amount of choice. This didn’t fuss my as I usually enjoy most Japanese food, but is something to keep in mind! We had some sushi and other sides. It is a restaurant that is more on the casual side. It provides a chilled meal with a mix of an authentic Japanese experience, in the heart of Cronulla! Will come back to try some more bentos (my favourite!)

Bar
Mia's Cronulla German Beerhall is a true haven for meat and beer enthusiasts, offering a delightful culinary experience reminiscent of Germany. The menu boasts generous portions of beloved dishes such as schnitzel, pork knuckle, and an array of sausages. A standout option is the impressive Bavarian platter designed to serve 23 people, featuring an assortment of meats alongside traditional sides like sauerkraut and chips.
Fantastic food and service. Pretzels are warm and freshly made, schnitzels are GF and taste amazing. The moment we walked it we were greeted with the smile and service continued being very friendly and homey. We were just two people, but wanted to try everything, so ordered a share plate for 3-4 people and were super satisfied taking the leftovers home. Pretzels were so good, so we ordered more to take home. Great variety of beers to choose from. P.S if you are Gluten Free you’ll be amazed how many choices there are for you including drinks. Thanks Team, we will certainly be back.

Went here after seeing it had great reviews and it didn’t dissappoint! Fantastic and friendly customer service, always smiling and also gave us an update on how the food was progressing. Food was delicious and generous serving size! Husband LOVED the pork knuckle as it wasn’t overloaded with too much fat. It was so crispy and delicious! And the chicken schnitzel was nice and moist and crispy! The passionfruit beer was yummy too! We will be back again! ☺️ The vibe is great too! Well decorated and relaxed. Everything felt very authentic. Cannot fault the place.
Gloria T — Google review
Really great lunch experience. The starters & mains are massive. Veal schnitzel was cooked perfectly, potato mash was creamy, sauce was delicious, and the pretzel was warm and reminded me of Germany. The waitress was also very friendly and professional. Well worth coming back to :)
Lili M — Google review
I got unreasonably excited when I spotted this place offering a midweek double schnitty deal that didn’t break the bank, so naturally, I treated myself to a feed like the responsible adult I am. Let’s start with the service: top-tier. The staff were all legends, friendly, quick with the banter, and dishing out shade in that warm, “we roast because we care” kind of way. The vibe was solid. 10/10 for atmosphere and sass. Now… the food. Oh boy. Either the chef was having a rough one, or someone angered the deep fryer gods. The schnitzel came out overcooked and very dry. Not much seasoning going on, felt like even the salt bailed on this one. As for the mushrooms, I wouldn’t wish those on my worst enemy. Overcooked, weirdly very watery inside, and completely flavourless. The only thing they were stuffed with was disappointment. The pretzel? Surprisingly solid. Not life-changing, but it held its own and didn’t betray me. All in all, great people, good vibes, semi OK Schnitty.
Mike — Google review
Tasty and generous serves. Authentic flavours - just like Oma used to make. The 'share' platters are enormous. Real beer-hall feel. Bring your appetite. (We could not finish ours!)
Tony W — Google review
I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and we ordered Mia’s Bavarian Platter. Obviously, it was too big for two people, but since we love German food, we gave it a try. The chicken schnitzel was top notch – juicy and tender – and I definitely want to try it again. The pork knuckle had crispy skin with juicy meat inside, and the selected sausage was amazing. The sides were a great match with the mains too – especially the sauerkraut and garden salad. On top of that, the owner and staff provided amazing service and were very friendly. Overall, a delicious experience!
Usokk — Google review
So nice we visited twice! Some places feed your stomach. This one fed our soul. We visited twice in a row—and not just because the food was fantastic (though it absolutely was). From the moment we walked in, the staff and owner treated us like family. Genuine warmth, easy smiles, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve come home. The pork knuckle was a standout: generous in portion, packed with tender meat, and somehow hearty without being greasy... and the mango beer? A refreshing surprise—fruity, crisp, and dangerously drinkable. To top it all off, they sent over a schnapps shot on the house. That small gesture sealed the deal. If you’re looking for a place that delivers quality food with heart, this is it. We’ll be back again—and probably again after that.
Louise H — Google review
John’s an absolute gentleman, from the moment we stepped in we felt like family. Great chat, beers were delicious and he promised we wouldn’t finish our meal and that was always going to be a tall order. Sure enough the platter defeated myself and my best two eating compadres. Combination of different flavours and textures made it spectacular. Looking forward to coming back

Wine bar
Wheat & Barrel is a charming boutique fresh pasta and wine bar located in Cronulla. The establishment prides itself on offering simple yet artisanal food and drink, featuring premium products such as prosciutto di Parma, pecorino sardo from Sardinia, and Calabria-style nduja spicy salami on their delectable antipasto platters.
A beautifully located small, casual Italian wine bar & restaurant opposite South Cronulla beach. The minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome by the staff. The place is not big with a long bar where you can stand or sit for some drinks & antipasti and tables both inside & outside for dining. The menu offers all the quintessential Italian dishes with a heavy focus on house made pasta. Antipasti is so well priced & perfect to order several to share with drinks whilst you chat & decide on the mains. Loved both the pecorino & Stracciatella cheeses, fennel studded salami, golden crunchy arancini & the house made sourdough which is dense & so good doused in olive oil. The pastas are all housemade & packs of it can be bought to take home. One of their signature Casarecce Norcino is utterly indulgent & delicious. Generous nuggets of pork sausage, mushrooms, truffle paste & a dash of cream made this dish earthy & full of umami. The gnocchi pomedoro is a classic with light as clouds gnocchi in a beautiful tomato sugo. The baked gnocchi has the same light pasta mixed with broccoli, speckled with pancetta & baked in a cheesy creamy sauce making it more warm, comforting & perfect for the cooler weather. Ravioli flavours change weekly & the classic pumpkin & ricotta with burnt butter & sage is the best weekly flavour so far & very very good. There is also a list of non-pasta mains and sides on offer. The wine list is Italian centred, concise and well-priced. The well informed staff was helpful in our wine choices not to mention great cocktails on offer also. Desserts are simple - a classic ricotta cannoli or the Nutellamisu which is delicious, perfectly balanced between sweet & bitter, wet & dry. Overall a really enjoyable experience with delicious food & drinks, helpful and friendly staff and lovely location.

The carbarbonara and ricotta gnocchi were fresh and delish. Tirimus was the best I have had in a long time. Attentive service and reasonable prices. Would not hesitate to come again. Their house red was decent too.

Loved my night at wheat & barrel. The maître de really topped off the experience, offering great service and even when my friend ordered a drink, he came over to check if she accidentally ordered it and explained what was in it, and if she knew if she liked it - I really appreciated that (seeing as it was an “old fashioned” really strong type of cocktail). Food was great and quick service. Definitely recommend I got the seafood pasta (don’t remember the exact menu item name but I’m sure staff can point you in the right direction). Was yum!
Bron W — Google review
The ossobuco was more of a pasta focused dish as had only tiny scraps of meat, the other dish the muscles were not steamed enough, this meal was very disappointing after driving all the way to Cronulla
Jeremy S — Google review
The truffle and mushroom pasta was sensational. So too were the meatballs. Friendly service right next to the beach
James A — Google review
Last night 11 of us went out for dinner at Wheat and Barrel. As we had a large group so we opted for the banquet. Although the servings seemed small when they arrived at the table to share - as we got through all the dishes an it was comfortably enough food. The food was really nice, and the banquet was a good way to try a number of dish instead and just ordering one entree and one main. Friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint was at the end of the night, I don't drink coffee, but those who did said it was really bad. So bad that there may have been an issue with the coffee machine. Overall good night, good food and great location just across the road from the beach. I would recommend checking out wheat and barrel if you enjoy Italian food.

Guests rave about their experiences here, highlighting the friendly service and an inviting menu perfect for sharing.
My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Pippis. We didn't know it was BYO so unfortunately we didn't have any drinks but the food made up for it, as the service. We had calamari as a starter, as main dishes a marrocan chicken and a seafood linguini, and the sorbet trio for desert. All good portions, nicely presented and full of flavor. We asked to change sits and moved to the deck after dinner to watch the sunset, wich was fine. We definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

This place is 10/10 and I would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing first-time experience at Pippis! Celebrated my birthday with a $90 set menu. At first, the portion size looked small, but it turned out to be perfect with plenty of leftovers to take home. The host, Lisa & our server Oscar provided exceptional service and were on top of everything. The ambience was great but a bit dark. However, the team was able to fix it straight away when asked. Definitely coming back!

A late mid-week lunch as have wanted to try this new-ish place for a while. Lovely welcome and sat in the sun by the water. Food was good (swordfish and chicken) and salad was a goodly portion size. Service was quick and friendly. A perfect setting.

Dinner with the girls at Pippi's—a charming waterfront spot with stunning views, a varied menu, and warm, friendly service. There were five of us, and we shared a delicious spread of starters: focaccia, hummus, calamari, and tuna tataki. For mains, we had the seafood linguine and Moroccan chicken—both flavorful and well-portioned. We wrapped things up with a creme brulee and a trio of sorbet for dessert, which was a lovely way to end the meal. A heads-up: Pippi’s is BYO, and luckily I’d checked the website the night before and brought wine along—otherwise that could’ve been a letdown. Also worth noting: they don’t serve coffee or tea in the evening, which was a bit surprising. All in all, a lovely night out in a beautiful setting with great food and company.

Best fine dining experience in Cronulla and the Shire. Every dish was delicious and outstanding. Intimate location with a beautiful sunset view over the bay. They use local produce for the meat and seafood. Great wine selection and the service was also great. Can’t recommend more highly!

A big thank you to Ben and his team. We recently dined at Waterline by the Bay and it was an unforgettable experience, not just because of the food but due to the truly next-level service. We were on a tight schedule, with plans to attend a show later that evening, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an stress-free meal and arrived on time. From the moment we arrived, they asked about our plans and immediately took control, expertly pacing our meal. Our server reassured us that they'd keep track of the timing, and they did exactly that. Courses arrived swiftly yet perfectly timed, and we never felt rushed. The level of attention and coordination between the kitchen and service team was impeccable. What stood out most was how they managed the delicate balance between efficiency and hospitality. We never felt like we were sacrificing the dining experience for the sake of our schedule. Each dish was served with care, and they still made time to explain the menu and provide personalized recommendations. We look forward to coming back and enjoying a long lunch next time.

We visited in Australia Day 2022. First of all I would like to confirm that the customer service was very poor. They were very unwelcoming! The person (male) look like they didn’t want us to enter the restaurant then as soon as we sat down, they took forever to serve us (took 15-20 minutes) to give us any attention, and when the girl finally noticed us, she looked annoyed & took our order! She only demonstrated rudeness and annoyance. The yakiniku beef Don tasted like Lamb (I didn’t enjoy it! The prawn gyoza was ok! But overall I didn’t have the best experience here! First tip is be friendly and welcoming to your customers otherwise goodbye sayonara 👋✌️👋✋ The 2 younger male and female were plain rude! the elderly lady that brought the food out was somewhat nice to us!! I won’t visit ever again! Disappointed!

I’ve never left a review before but I’d have given this place 0 stars if possible.. food was putrid - the only thing that came out, that I could stomach, was the can of Coke Zero. Food honestly smelt.. we kept ordering dishes hoping something would be decent - it wasn’t. There’s better Japanese food in the frozen section at Coles. Took 35 minutes before our first dish came out.. please don’t waste your 45 bucks.

Decent amount of selection of dishes. Nice busy atmosphere inside. Had the all you can eat for $37. Ended up extremely full. Only a few issues, they clearly need more waiters as at one point we couldn’t get anymore food for 25 minutes. The food comes out piecemeal so you need to order quite a few dishes to begin with as they are small. The quality of the food is somewhat average and in line with typical buffet style food. Drinks are reasonable price and they have a nice selection of Japanese alcohol. The desserts though are terrible. Just order more chicken!

Tucked away within a bike shop in Cronulla, Rushi is a delightful Japanese-inspired fusion café that’s perfect for those who crave unique breakfast options. Imagine starting your day with a comforting bowl of miso soup paired with an aromatic cup of coffee. The menu features exciting dishes like Miso Egg Sandwiches, King Oyster Mushroom Fritters, and the popular Prawn & Katsu Salad topped with miso yuzu prawns.
Best Japanese inspired breakfast, and matcha. Service was awesome and staff were so friendly. We will be coming back for sure.

Egg yariman roll is amazing and a definite standout for me, the French toast is beautiful too if you have a sweet tooth (I do) Caramel latte had a lot more caramel than most places, which I liked but some may not enjoy Heard great things about the rushi eggs, will need to try that next time!

Combination w/ Eastern amd western, Onigiri plate. Japanese looks Onigiri and Avocado with poached eggs. Onigiri was very nice and Fried veggie prawn was crunch. Good!!

Amazing café experience. A thoughtful and fun Asian spin on some brekky classics, plus plenty of tasty creations - signature eggs and bacon on a roll (yariman roll) and karaage chicken bowl in the pics, both superb! Definitely hitting the steak sanga next time 🙌 they also recommend a few choice items, very friendly crew. The coffee and the venue are both on point too! We didn’t see it before but it’s a cool space now. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.

I've been coming here several times a week over the last 5 years and the friendly service along with beautiful coffee (ONA beans) pair nicely with tasty food. They keep the menu fresh by introducing weekly specials that mix things up. Keep it up Lucy and the team!

Get the Tokyo muffin you won't be disappointed. I'm not usually a big fan of sausage muffins. But their sausage patty is nothing like maccas or other typical sausage patties. It was so good. The English muffin bun had a perfect texture. The cafe is next to a bike shop. It's a bit confusing but there is only one cafe in that spot haha

Although there is no sign that we could say saying Rushi I recognised it from one photo of the inside and assumed it was the right cafe. It appears to be a push bike cafe as it backs onto a push bike shop. The food is outstanding and I'd hope it would be for the price. It's enough to make you full but you're not over eating. The coffee is on point. It's family friendly and there was lots of mums and dads with kidlets including a pram or two. Staff are lovely and accommodating.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Eat Lebanese. This charming eatery caters to both vegetarians and vegans with an array of meat-free salads, traditional savory pastries, and delectable homemade dips. Their standout offerings include Mums Falafel Wrap and the Falafel Plate—perfect for a quick yet satisfying meal. Originating as a pop-up during the pandemic, Eat Lebanese quickly gained popularity, leading to the establishment of their own restaurant in The Shires.
Fabulous, fresh and tasty food in a relaxed / informal setting. Prompt communication beforehand and a warm welcome were much appreciated. Efficient and friendly service helped us - a party of 16 - have a great night. The prawns and roast cauliflower were very popular. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Delicious food and amazing service. It was my first time there, Tony(owner) recommended us a few dishes and it was fresh, clean and yummy. You can tell that Tony is so passionate and love what he does. He explains to us about the food preparation and how it was made. It was quite educational. I didn't realise it took so long to prepare etc. I have had a business for 20 years I know how hard it is to ensure everyone is happy. That being said I would give Eat Lebanese a 10/10. Highly recommend and I will be back. Thank you Tony, much appreciate your warm services:)

Took a chance after seeing the reviews and made a catering order for the first time. Tony made the whole process easy and was very accommodating for such a last minute request. The food was tasty, the portions were big and the service was 5 stars. Thank you again and look forward to visiting the restaurant soon

El Rey is a new hotspot in the neighborhood, offering a vibrant atmosphere for enjoying tacos and margaritas. The sun-drenched terrace provides a perfect view of the rolling waves, while the staff's 90s-inspired attire adds to the trendy vibe. The earthy interiors at El Rey Cronulla create a welcoming ambiance for gathering with friends. Guests have raved about the delicious cocktails, particularly highlighting the Spring Fling as a must-try.
We absolutely loved the place! Me and my wife are two Brazilians on vacation and found this hidden treasure near Cronulla Beach. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. Order the Raspberry Kiss and you wont regret it! Plus, all the staff were super nice and welcoming. We would love to come back!
André A — Google review
Let me start by saying the food and drinks here are absolutely fabulous. We ordered the corn ribs, croquettes, chimichangas and birria tacos. All were phenomenal - hats off to the chef! The drinks were also delicious. I would recommend the Cucumber & Elderflower Margarita. Unfortunately the service really let them down. To start with, the venue is really difficult to find with Google Maps taking you to the wrong location. We had to ask a security guard at the nearby pub to point us in the right direction. There were no signs pointing us in the direction of the restaurant. Secondly, the staff were very inattentive and it didn’t seem like they had a specific waiter on our section - just random staff floating about so it was hard to get their attention. I feel like this restaurant has a lot of potential! However, work needs to be done in order to improve the atmosphere and service of the venue.
Bridget W — Google review
Delicious food. Entrees really stood out to us, especially the scallop fish and the tuna. Tacos were incredible, would recommend the barramundi. The octopus main course was slightly lacking in flavour vs everything else we had, but could just be personal preference. We enjoyed it all and will be back for sure! Chilli Margarita was incredible.

Great restaurant serving delicious Mexican food and delicious cocktails. The staff are lovely and friendly. We ordered a selection of starters and mains to share. There is a set menu you can order but we decided to pick a few dishes off the main menu to share between 4 people. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this restaurant.

Absolutely loved our meal here! Every dish we ordered was spot on. My girlfriend couldn't stop talking about the ceviche, declaring it one of the best she's ever tasted (and she's a big ceviche fan!). My birria tacos were delicious, and the mushroom taco had this fantastic smokey flavour - a must-try if you enjoy that (if they add some spicy salsa into it then it will be perfect) The atmosphere was great, service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner and drinks, and I wish I had gotten the staff members’ names so I could give individual shout outs. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional - everyone was attentive, friendly, and impressively knowledgeable, especially when it came to accommodating my friend’s food allergies. The drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back :))

Best açaí bowl I have ever had! Fairly priced for what you get. Fruit was fresh and toppings were generous. No indoor seating but besides that amazing quality açaí bowl!
Justine D — Google review
The açai was good, but for me and my partner we didn’t love it unfortunately. But I think that’s just taste preference, not the bowl itself because it looked nice. My main issue were the staff. The 2 ladies there were so unfriendly and could barely smile.
S M — Google review
One of the best acai bowls I've had in Sydney. The medium size is massive, and they are very generously topped with granola and fruits. The acai is a great texture, and the flavour of the acai is perfect; sometimes, acai bowls are blended with other berries taking away the acai flavour. Service was friendly, and the bowls came out fairly quickly. I have already been back a couple of times now. Highly recommend 👍

Yum! What a delicious night out. Restaurant and staff were friendly and welcoming. They were on top of offerings and recommendations. Didn’t let the drinks go empty. Great night out dining. Somewhat pricey but food tasted great.

We loved our lunch at 1908! Great vibe, beautiful surroundings, excellent service and delicious food. We will be back. Great event venue too if you're looking to host your next celebration, located an easy walk from local parking station. (In addition to meals shown there was another eye fillet, two entrees and 2 bottles of wine, shared amongst 4).
Mrs V — Google review
This place is on the upper end of the price bracket for a restaurant and bar. But not quite as fancy in terms of food quality and service. The ambiance is nice and cozy. Modern Australian style of food. There are plenty of pescetarian options. However, the acoustics of the hall leaves much to be desired. It gets rather noisy, so having a conversation during your dinner or lunch is not as easy. The food was decent but by no means exceptional. We found bones in our fish fillet, which was a bit of a disappointment. A nice place overall, despite all the above.
Anastasia G — Google review
It was an enjoyable night, the cocktails were good and the service. But the food was a let down. It had all the making of a fine dine restaurant except the food, which is the most important party to get right. Would love to give the place another try some day. Wouldn’t write it off yet. Hope the food quality pics up.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors that delighted our taste buds. We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

1908 Cronulla is an exceptionally beautiful venue, redesigned from the hulk of a Methodist Church and turned into a stunning modern restaurant with a central bar Arriving as walk ins to an empty restaurant, it was obvious it was a popular dining destination for locals as the waiting staff tried to find us an unreserved table, which was a sparse find. After being seated a gourmet Roti bread with chutney was suggested, and it was an exceptional starter. Moving onto the main menu, there was a diverse range of gourmet options to choose from, many with extremely unique ingredients. The main meals were absolutely exceptional, as were the desserts. However, we found that as the restaurant filled, the restaurant was understaffed and unable to properly service their customers who were paying a premium. Recommendations for menu items and drinks were made, but some were subsequently forgotten by the limited team of waiting staff as they tried to focus on the larger groups, until we had to ask However, This is not to say staff were not providing excellent customer service. We also found that the rear of the restaurant severely lacked ventilation, and it became quite uncomfortably warm once the room filled. Overall 1908 Cronulla is a beautiful Modern Australian restaurant, but falls just short of 5 stars as they cannot meet the demand of their seated customers.

But the coffee was just OK and Açai bowl was a disaster… broken chunks of açai thrown in with some fruit and a few dribbles of honey… come on Nulla you can do better than this! I am extremely disappointed. I ordered a cookie here and it was hard as a rock, clearly old and not fresh at all. I only ate half of it and got sick right after, and I had not eaten anything else before. Based on the texture and taste, it was obvious that this cookie had been sitting around for a long time. Zero quality, zero respect for customers. I do not recommend this place at all and I will only remember it so I can warn others to avoid it. Very bad experience.

Edit after owner response. Why would "everyone understand" just put it on your website that you are closed and don't take bookings! Most of your tables are inside anyway. What you are saying is that you closed to suit yourself not your customers. Original post Wednesday night 6.30 pm 8 off us turned up to eat and they were closed. No sign on door saying what is going on. Have eaten there 6 times in last year. But this was really annoying.

Had a lovely family lunch with a group of 10, including 1 small child. Not an extensive menu but a good variety so everyone was well catered for. A beautiful and high quality brunch option next to the picturesque Shelly Park. The standard of the food was very high. A little more expensive than average (especially if you get takeaway), but the quality made it worth it. All standard Australian brunch fare, with a separate takeaway menu too. The coffee was exceptionally good. Really well made and an excellent strong flavour. The building is lovely, and is a joy to dine in. Nestled in the heart of Cronulla, Blackwood Cronulla is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its vibrant atmosphere and pastel-hued decor, this eatery invites you to indulge in a delightful all-day menu brimming with visually stunning dishes. From creamy burrata paired with prosciutto and heirloom tomatoes to the heavenly coconut hotcakes topped with fresh blueberries and passionfruit curd, every plate is crafted using the freshest ingredients.
I had an excellent experience at Blackwood in Cronulla! Despite being incredibly busy on a public holiday, the staff managed the fast-paced environment effortlessly. They handled the demand with ease and never made us feel pressured to vacate our table, even with the long queue for brunch. The food was top-notch and very well-priced, which made the wait worth it. I ordered the goddess salad with a poached egg and a matcha latte—both were delicious! Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well. We were there with a newborn, and the staff thoughtfully provided us with a table that had plenty of space. Overall, we were really happy with the experience and will definitely be returning.

The food was quite good, but the service really needs improvement in communication and basic hospitality. The staff seemed disengaged and avoiding eye contact when we were waiting to be seated and not checking in at all during the meal. We had to ask multiple times just to place our order, and later had to go up to request the bill ourselves. It seemed as just our table was being ignored (I wonder why…) The waitresses appeared unhappy and unmotivated, which made the overall atmosphere uncomfortable and flat. Perhaps because their place of work isn’t opposite the beach and it’s just opposite a Woolworths metro loading dock?! Won’t go here again perhaps will try the Bondi location next time.

Dined in today for lunch, good menu, kits to choose from with an extensive drinks list. Very busy but got a table for 4 without booking. We had Morning Glory, Salmon Poke bowl, fries, banana bread, & side of chicken for food. Very nice, well presented just was a long wait from ordering to food, 50 mins in total. Drinks we had long black, Banana & biscoff milkshake, a kids strawberry milkshake & long black & thirst thrive drink. $157 in total, which is pricey but seems to be the average for food now.
Michelle Y — Google review
Food was pretty damn good but service was disappointing. The staff who was managing the waitlist was super rude to me and it honestly ruined my morning. It was a chill Sunday morning and fairly busy so I put my name down on the wait list. I was told that the wait would be 20 minutes and so my group went for a stroll down the block and back. We came back about 15 minutes later and waited to speak with the staff at the front. After getting her attention, I said “Hi, I’m Angel for 3” and then pointed my name out on the waitlist. She stared at me, then started getting passive aggressive. She was borderline yelling that she had called my name out 5 times and that she gave away our table just now. She then proceeded to ask whether we were gonna be leaving. I just stood there in shock as her rage was uncalled for. I did not display any anger at her, in fact I was pretty chill until she cracked it at me. The way she handled the situation was very unprofessional and my friends were quite disgusted by her behaviour. We honestly didn’t mind the wait but she was being very rude about it. After we were seated, all the staff serving us at the tables were friendly and nice. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was lovely - huge portion and tasty. The iced Milo (w expresso) was a bit milky but I still enjoyed the chocolate taste. However, I couldn’t shake off the unpleasant experience at the front. Anywho, not sure if I’ll be back but it was one of the worst memories I’ve had at a cafe. It is honestly really unfortunate because the food was great.

I had a really great time at this cafe near Cronulla Beach. I tried their Oat Milk Biscoff Latte, and honestly, it was a genius combo. The sweet, spiced Biscoff with the creamy oat milk was absolutely delicious! I’m definitely going to come back just for that. For food, I ordered the SCHNITTY SUGO SAMBO, which came with herb and garlic chicken schnitzel, slow-braised tomato sugo, Comté cheese, onions, shredded iceberg lettuce, mayo, and sweet pickles, all in a warm Turkish roll. It also came with Rosemary Fries with Truffle Mayo on the side. The sandwich was super fresh and full of flavors, but I felt like it needed just a bit more seasoning to really take it to the next level. Otherwise, everything was spot on! I also got a chance to try their Create Plate option. I built mine with sourdough, scrambled eggs, roasted mushrooms with herbs de Pecorino, and falafels. The mushrooms were perfectly roasted, and the falafels were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only small issue was the scrambled eggs—they were a bit too buttery for my liking, but still enjoyable. To finish off, I had a cappuccino, which was very well made. The balance of espresso and milk was just right, and it was a nice way to round out the meal. The only downside for me was the price, which is on the expensive side, but given the vibe, location, and the friendly service, I felt it was worth it. The atmosphere was really relaxed, and it’s a perfect spot to chill near the beach. All in all, a great cafe experience that I’d recommend if you’re looking for a fresh meal and good coffee near Cronulla Beach!

Very vibrant spot. It speaks for itself that this place is packed, while the ones we passed by were half-full. Very generous portions and in general - decent value for money ratio. Home chippies are really nice. The only slight downturn was the hostess. While all other staff were acting professionally and with a welcoming attitude, she rarely made eye contact while speaking to us and made us feel not in the right place. I hope it was just a one time thing and she was just tired.

Pilgrims Cronulla is a trendy eatery with a light-wood decor and exposed brick walls, offering a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. This seaside dining spot serves vibrant cafe fare during the day and transforms into a Mexican-style cantina at night, featuring dishes like vegetarian quesadillas, enchiladas, and spicy patatas bravas. It's popular for its classic breakfast options such as the halloumi stack and fresh juices.
I was surprised to see pure vegetarian cafe in Cronulla! I was not keeping any high hopes from this place, as my previous experience with Veg food in Aussie cafes hasn't been great. But this place is a pure bliss for vegetarians! I tried the mushroom potato pie, and it was delicious! Their coffee was great! I did not like the espresso shake. It was too bitter and too huge, hardly had 2 or 3 sips. It left bad taste in mouth. But except for that rest was all good.

Two of us attended pilgrims today for brunch. I got the falafel sandwich (which was huge and with generous filling) it was delicious. We also got the granola which was a bit small for the price charged. That is our only complaint. It was delicious too. Coffee was nice.

I loved pilgrims back in the day and was excited to relive the scrambled eggs and espresso shake…. Unfortunately the recipe has changed and the eggs were underwhelming and I could not eat them. Please bring back the old recipe they were the best ! On a good note the new space is very nice .

Enjoyed my Mountain burger except for the actual burger. Tasted like a glorified rice cake, very little or no seasoning and not what I expected of a burger. That said, the rest of the meal ( the roll and the salad component)was fine and the coffee was good. Brownie was a tad dry, but was okay. ( everyone has their particular preference re Brownies) Rethink the burger is my suggestion!

Wow!! It's simply paradise for foodies. They have a wide variety of dishes to cater to vegans and vegetarians. And if you are a non vegetarian you definitely don't miss meat. We ordered Bliss burger, baked potatoes and halloumi toastie for 2 of us and were thrilled. I can't pick a favourite of these items. Heavily recommend trying this place and this is on our repeat list for sure.

I absolutely love Pilgrims Cronulla! The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet breakfast. The food is fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. Their coffee is consistently amazing, and the staff are always friendly, attentive, and happy to help. It’s definitely one of my favourite spots in Cronulla!

I think it's one of the best coffee restaurants I've been to. The food is delicious, the coffee is of good quality and its texture is perfect, in addition to its smoothies and juices, but above all, its good service, the people are very friendly and you can tell they do it with love. Thank you very much Pilgrim's for coming back!

Delicious vegetarian food in Cronulla Central. Great location with ample parking nearby (be sure to get in early to beat the traffic though). Venue is great for people watching! A wide range of vegetarian options and everything was reasonably priced. We had the tofu wrap and the millennium burger made into a wrap. Both were super delicious but the millennium wrap was my favourite. I would order the tofu wrap as a bowl next time to make best use of the flavour combos. Next time we will ask for the wraps to be toasted so it stays together a bit better

Montien Thai Kitchen in Cronulla is a delightful spot that offers an array of traditional stir-fries, noodles, and curries in a stylish yet simple setting. With outdoor seating available, it’s perfect for enjoying the fresh air while savoring delicious meals. Guests have praised the warm and friendly staff who ensure prompt service, enhancing the overall dining experience. The restaurant boasts a chic atmosphere complemented by pleasant background music, making it an inviting place to unwind.
I went to lunch here with a friend and it was such an enjoyable experience. The staff were warm and friendly and served us promptly each time we ordered something additional. I really enjoyed the atmosphere too, as the restaurant has great style and background music to match. I love how they have a sit at bar too, in case you feel like passing the time before or after your meal or simply feel like having something alcoholic to drink. For entrees we ordered the curry puffs and fresh betel leaves, which were new to me but ended up being my favourite of the two! For mains, we shared the roast duck curry and crispy pork, which were both absolutely delicious. The drinks we ordered were equally as impressive, with my friends coming with a colour changing ice cube! I look forward to dining here again when I’m back at Cronulla beach.

Nice Thai food near to Cronulla beach. Service is quick and food taste alright. There are some outdoor sittings as well. It is within walking distance from the train station.

I’ve been here with my wife about 5 times now… the first few times we returned because we enjoyed it so much. But Quality and consistency have taken a turn for the worse today, the red curry was watery today all I can taste is palm sugar, king Prawn Pinnaple had no pinnaple chunks and the sauce was exactly the same as the duck with red curry, with minimal vegetables in it and the portion was rather small for the price. The Duck was dry and didn’t seem quite fresh, BBQ chicken felt like a rip off cause chicken was dry and again small portion. Asked for no sugar in my red curry and waitress said the sauce was already made. Which speaks tons about freshness or customisation of dishes, anyhow… I think it’s going to take a long a time for us to come back here… we might as well give it a go a to other Thai restaurants around given that we drove 25 minutes and o have local options…. My point is… I hate it when restaurants start dropping quality and stop being consistent. This place need to be aware that they need to be consistent in order to make happy the loyal and repeat customers or I predict a quick downfall till permanent closure

Crappy rice, in cling wrap!? Which was 30% less than the small container. I ordered fresh Jasmine rice, not sticky rice. You will see this receipt for 'stricky rice' was added 2 minutes after at 310pm when my original receipt order through uber was at 308pm, so think they didn't want to cook fresh jasmine, so I got premade old rice. Not good enough Lemonade missing but think that uber driver kept it! As said everything is in the bag. When they wouldn't put a cold drink into a hot bag of food!

Great food for a good price, paid 20 bucks for the pad see ew and received a free coke as a lunch special. Lady working the counter wasn't unfriendly just tired after working table service and other things, great place with good food

I've been here twice and both times the food has been amazing. The portions are perfect, the veggies are fresh, the chicken is cooked perfectly and the sauces are tasty. Every other Thai restaurant I've been to, the food is either full of sugar, the veggies taste old or the chicken is dry from being overcooked. This place is the complete opposite and is my go-to Thai restaurant now.

Delicious fresh Thai in a fun, modern new restaurant very close to the beach. Relaxed atmosphere, incredible food, excellent menu with lots of delicious choices - it was hard to choose! We will be back! The duck curry and chicken laksa were mouth watering and we demolished it all! Thanks for a fantastic lunch! Will recommend to all of our friends.

Croydon Lane Wine and Tapas Bar is a hidden gem located at 30 Kingsway, Cronulla. The bar offers a sunny wine garden where patrons can enjoy live music while sipping on their favorite drinks. It's a perfect spot to unwind and relax with friends or loved ones. With its inviting ambiance and delightful entertainment, Croydon Lane is an ideal destination for those looking for a memorable evening out in Cronulla.
We had our intimate wedding reception at Croydon Lane and honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Dale and the whole team were absolutely fantastic - so helpful from the moment we booked. They let us decorate their private room however we wanted, which was perfect for making it feel personal and special. The food was incredible - seriously some of the best we've had. And the staff on the night couldn't do enough for us. Every time we needed something, they were right there with a smile. The music was spot on too - really made the night come alive and got everyone dancing. If you're thinking about having a party or event here, I'd definitely recommend it. Great food, lovely staff, and they really know how to look after you. We had such a brilliant night and our guests are still talking about it! Thanks again to Dale and the team for making our reception so special.

Even though there was no music that night, the staff, food and cocktails made us happy! The food was delicious, great presentation. Nice cocktails, ink gin was fun to poor and watch a colour change. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll come back for the music at some point!

delicious food with prompt service. Nice live music but too noisy to enjoy. Serving of food is just right in portion and loved the tapas. Will be back again to try out other food in the menu.
Bibby Y — Google review
Went there on a Friday night. Really loud love music if you’re into that sort of atmosphere. Personally though found it to be a bit too loud and distracting given that the venue offers a sit down dining option. The noisy music would’ve been more suited if it was a bar and club, but there was no dance floor. The food portions on offer is bulimic to say the least. You’re paying nearly $20 for literally 4 pieces of mushroom… each ‘tapas’ is around $5 for a bite. Left the place feeling hungry. The only saving grace of this place was the cocktail options. There’s around 12 different cocktail options and a few were quite unique. Would recommend people to come here if they’re just after some cocktails. Or perhaps if you want to take a date somewhere that you won’t be talking too much. (Since the loud music will ensure you fail to hear what is being clearly unless you’re shouting)
Moony D — Google review
👀 This was on my list to visit! A little hard to find, down an alley way. I don’t know why they are called “Croydon” it says because of the city style venue? Spanish-inspired tapas menu. 💥 Plenty of spaces to sit, an outside wine garden, banquette seating & intimate dining inside plus an private function room with private bar hire options. 🍴 ZUCCHINI FLOWERS $15 pumpkin, sage, romesco sauce 3pce CRISPY PORK BELLY $28 with baby spinach, spanish onion, hazelnuts, with spiced apple puree, pickled red cabbage BRAISED LAMB SHOULDER $28 with split pea ratatouille and heirloom dutch carrot I thought the mains were pretty pricey. Would be nice for a little, local date night. ✨ Probably won’t visit again, seems like it’s less about the food now and more about the entertainment.

One of the best experience ever had. Andrew was the guy who served us. It was so cold outside and we just came from tiring long walk. We requested him for Mulled Wine, he didn't even heard of it. His eagerness to know what it is, he searched on Google and got a recipe and as soon as he seen the recipe he agreed to prepare and serve specially for us. He really made our day when we tasted the first sip of it. We are so thankful to him for all the kindness shown. If you are a big fan of Mulled wine, just go and request him, he will definitely serve you with a good smiling face.
Mayank M — Google review
This is a hard one. The staff were exceptional! The cocktails fabulous and the wine selection, even thought short, still had everything we liked. 😍😍😍 So 5/5 The food however..... was just OK. The shared platter was delicious except for the paella balls which were really taseless and dry. The braised beef was delicious but for $28 it was literally 2 spoons of meat on some mashed parsnip.i get that it's tapes but that was smaller than an entree. And lastly and most disappointing was the Valencia paella. It was wet rice with 3 pieces of chicken, 2 sausages, 2 peeled prawns ( they should be whole in a peella🦐🦐) and 1 piece of octopus... what happened to the muscles? The tiramisu was nice but crunchy... that's definitely a first. They did have a function on that night and maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed but I guess I can only review my experience from the night. So 2/5 Photo shows the paella. We already dug into it as we were hungry but gives you an idea of what it looked like.

Thank you to Li and Melody for such a wonderful meal and amazing service! They out in the extra effort as we were celebrating a birthday with table decorations and dessert! All the good from entree to dessert was delicious and good sized portions. We had the chicken Maryland, steak, market fish and gnocchi. I had to organise this from a distance, site unseen and I couldn’t have been happier with the choice of restaurant. We were able to book the entire restaurant for an amazingly great price. Congratulations to Liana and her team for creating a special atmosphere. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I dined at Little Parrot last night and had an incredible experience. We both ordered the eye fillet, and it was absolutely delicious — cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavour. What made the evening even better was the outstanding customer service. Great Thai food—an unexpected surprise! Unlike the usual Thai dishes that tend to be too sweet, the flavors were well-balanced. The salt and pepper calamari with their unique batter was a highlight! We enjoyed the food so much, and the service was amazing too!

Located in the heart of Cronulla with so many other restaurants around it a convenient place to visit. After we were seated and ordered some starters three different waiting staff came and wanted to get our orders so there is a bit of lack of communication between staff members. Food is good but not spectacular, pricing as expected for a restaurant around that area.

This is a fantastic and authentic Thai restaurant. Beautiful restaurant, decorations, cutlery and vibe. Mini our waitress was wonderful and everyone looked after us like family. The food was amazing, it took a little while to come out, but it was freshly prepared and tasted great. If you come with a group of 4+ get the banquet for $35 p/h, nice value and heaps of food! Recommend the Pad see ew and Thai green curry. 10/10!

$6 BYO wine charge but otherwise it was a perfect meal! We got a fish curry, chicken curry, and beef curry- all were equally delicious! Strangely enough the red curry was more spicy than the green curry, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The beef was cooked slow and broke apart under your fork. Not only was the food very good but the waiters were super nice- I appreciate how they kept a bottle of water at our tables at all times. We must have gone through 5-6 bottles of water during our time there but they kept an eye out for us 😊. The restaurant also wasn't super crowded on a Wednesday night in November, which was nice because we didn't feel rushed at all. Overall a good meal with good ambience!

The jalapeño margarita is sub standard - pricing $21 for a margarita with little flavour as watered down with so much ice it was ridiculous. I was here earlier in the year and had the same cocktail with the same experience, I thought it was a bad luck order and moved on, gave it another go recently and was really looking forward to a nice cocktail and ended up unfortunately with the same sub standard margarita. The man at the bar when we walked in, was quite dismissive of us too, gruffly telling us to sit down it was table service - no greeting nothing ! The lady that served us the drinks and fixed our bill was friendly enough. I felt sorry for her having to work for such an awful bar manager! I would not recommend this place if you are looking to have a couple of cocktails unless you are desperate! Just buy beer but the not the Lofty Lager - it’s not good- if you do go, what you will probably get is overpriced watered down cocktails aimed at the already intoxicated people looking to kick on and, because you can’t get in anywhere else in Cronulla. This bar could be sooooooo much better - it’s really tacky unfortunately without a cool vibe just catering for late night intoxicated people looking to party with a DJ.

Great food Good vibe Awesome staff Impressive - This is how our empty plates were described by the time we finished eating. Best eats were the smokey pork ribs, fried chicken and salt & jerk squid.

Such a mixed bag! The atmosphere is really cool - it's got a great vibe and good tunes. The staff are friendly, however I ordered a particular beer and another one arrived with the explanation "we ran out of the other one". The can was open and it was a fait accompli by then, though. The food was pretty good. We got the mixed platter - some parts were very good (the curry, the squid) and some not so great (the fried chicken, the flatbread). The ribs deserve a special mention - the flavour was great, but they were boot leather tough. The fries from another order were also pretty dire - like they'd been precooked then microwaved or something. So, yeah, pretty good but a bit more refinement here and there would turn this place into a must-visit.

Atmosphere was great a bit overcrowded for such a small venue but music was good. But what has me disappointed and a little shocked was that in order to get a table we had to pay $450 which was suppose to include food. Only for us to only get $200 worth of food which we had to wait 30min between each dish and then had to remind them that we’re still waiting for 4 more dishes with the chef showing us a sheet that had a cross through our booking saying it meant our booking was completed. Which it hadn’t and at this point we had been at the venue for more than 3 hours! Would have been happier if we received more value for money along with faster time of delivery of dishes.

JD's Bar & Grill Cronulla all round is pretty average - the atmosphere is good, but the positives end there. The service is okay, very minimal staff, but unfortunately the food was a massive let down. The first thing is the prices - expect $24-40 for a normal menu item & unfortunately what we had was not special at all. The buffalo chicken wings as an entree were quite nice, but the mains were less then satisfactory. For $33, the BBQ Pork Ribs were a massive let down - the basting was good enough but the ribs themselves were mainly just fat & had me feeling ill after. The chicken schnitzel was described as being dry & overcooked and unfortunately it didn't taste very well either, not worth the $24. Drinks were a half decent price but again, nothing special there. There's table service for delivering food, but everything needs to be ordered at the bar. For a place I've been meaning to try for some time, it was quite a let down.

The food is average. It's a an acceptable pub type meal. The portion sizes are generous and seasoned well. The service from the (I'm assuming supervisor) was appalling. She was rude, dismissive, and, to be honest, aggressive. I was part of a large group, and we were well mannered and spoke respectfully, yet were still treated with hostility. You've lost some patrons due to this.

New Year's Eve dinner. Delightfully quiet and diners respectful of each other. Service was very attentive and the steaks were great. Underwhelmed by the new bistro. I usually get the Schnitzel with mash and veg. Which has always been my go to. Now I can only get a Schnitzel with chips. Salad is at an extra cost of $8.00! No freshness on my plate, the kids fish and chips was mean on the fish, just a big pile of chips. If you want to go to a top end club to eat plate of chips, you're in the right place. 👎

The food has taken a big backwards step from the previously run greens restaurant. Had the surf and turf. Steak was under cooked yet chewy and the prawns were very dry. Lacked substance and taste for what should be a staple

Live music venue
Bar
Restaurant
Nestled in the northern end of Cronulla Plaza, Brass Monkey Live Music Venue is a cozy underground club with a laid-back and convivial atmosphere. The venue offers a mix of live jazz and rock performances while serving up hearty Middle Eastern platters and pizza. Co-owned by Jad Nakhle and Geoff Trio, the venue pays homage to the arts and hosts a variety of musical acts, from reggae to hip-hop, rock, jazz, and blues.
If you love live music and are not sucked in by record company marketing, this is the venue for you. The Brass Monkey is an institution that is all about the music. It is an intimate venue where the performers become one with the audience. And the food is surprisingly good if you go for the dinner and performance package. There are lots of different styles of music and there is no excuse to not try the Brass Monkey at least once, you will not be disappointed.

Great little live music venue, very intimate. Saw Michael Waugh up close and personal. Music was amazing. Venue was awesome. Food was out of this world!

Saw my favourite musician Mark Wilkinson at this venue 20th April everything was perfect my dinner the show the staff the venue etc the only complaint that I have was these two inconsiderate people sitting behind me talking to each other all the way through the concert which was very distracting why bother attending a concert if you are going to talk the whole time. I have waited so long to see this wonderful guy perform and it was spoilt by two inconsiderate people.
Carolyn G — Google review
This basement area provides a much more ‘intimate’ musical experience than a large theatre/room at a reasonable price - mostly with food included. It is not ‘fine dining’ but there is a reasonable variety of dishes to choose from … and a well stocked bar.
Ian B — Google review
Great live music venue. Van Morrison were terrific and enjoyed the dinner package - more choice than I expected and very good. Looking forward to next visit!
Steven S — Google review
Great venue for live music. Good booze selection (beers and wine). Guys and girls at the Bar or servicing guests were really on their toes making sure that everyone was catered to without delays. I will definately be back there. Caught a show with Ray Beadle, Peter Northcote and Rex Goh playing. It was a great musical evening which I certainly enjoyed. My congrats to the venue and its management for keeping live music scene in Sydney alive and kicking. Keep rocking guys Cheers

Tucked away in Cronulla, The Blind Bear is a cozy hole-in-the-wall bar exuding smoky vibes and offering an array of whisky apple cocktails. Its intimate atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a laid-back evening. The bar's unique charm and endless cocktail options make it a must-visit for those looking for a distinctive drinking experience in the area.
Our absolute favourite place for a drink and a feed in Cronulla. The staff are so warm and lovely, the beer selection is immaculate and the atmosphere is beautifully cozy. Their Granny Smith juice and fireball tastes like Christmas in a cup. (speaking of, they do Christmas in July and it’s super cute)

Great little bar I went on Saturday night. The Blind Bear is a hidden gem in Cronulla. The interior is beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting feel. The cocktail selection is impressive, and the quality of the drinks is outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to recommend something to suit your taste. I particularly enjoyed the live music, which added a wonderful touch to the evening. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a sophisticated night out in Cronulla.
Chanchaya K — Google review
Walking around trying to locate the place was a bit tricky even though it's obvious. I reckon it might be intentional which is so cool. The entry is so inconspicuous behind the two fire doors. But once inside the place is amazing with two levels. Was surprised to see the different whiskeys they have on the shelf, amazing. Tried a few whiskey cocktails and they were Top notch. The burgers are just fantastic.

Had top Drinks with lots of flavour. My bar service was a lovely girl who sure knew how to shake that Stainless shaker!!!! Made me and Friends have a great time. One of my friends left his key Fob and a man ran out to give back definitely be back 5 Star 🌟 Service all round. Had Chicken wings also a must try the hot sauce really 😋 hits the spot!!!!!

Had birthday drinks here and it’s one of my favourite places in the shire. It offers a unique, ambient & quaint hidden nook in the heart of Cronulla. You wind have trouble finding a drink here with all different types of spirits, cocktails & beers! My top recommendation is the apple martini or the whisky apples soooo yum and go down a treat. The food also is reasonably priced but I haven’t eaten it before so cannot say about the quality. I’ve been a few times now and will keep coming back for the great service and yummy cocktails to try!

Great little cocktail bar. We went on a Friday night. There was about a 15 minute wait on the door. Once inside we took a seat at the bar. Was a nice dark, Ristic atmosphere , 'cobwebs on the lights, dusty bookshelfs' kinda style Their menu has plenty of unique cocktails but they're also more than happy to do the classics too. They also do fireball with fresh made apple juice which tasted absolutely amazing. After about 20 minutes it started getting crowded and more busy which was a bit much for our liking so we finished up and left. Would definitely visit again but maybe on a weeknight or even earlier in the night.
Alexander — Google review
At first glance you would think the Blind Bear has closed down or not opened to trade. But walk through the first door and then a second and it’s as if you have stepped back into the 20’s, in the era of prohibition and underground liquor spots. Awesome looking venue with a limited menu for food but enough to soak up some of the awesome cocktails and whiskeys on offer. Sitting along the bar and a brief chat to the bartender instantly lets you know that the bar staff were well experienced and ready to serve you something interesting or something of quality. Definitely a great spot to go for a few drinks and a night out with some friends. And will give you some cred with your mates as you can tell them it’s only for people in the know.

Guzman y Gomez - Cronulla is a vibrant fast-casual chain that offers classic tacos and burritos, along with Mexican beer. The menu features healthy and delicious dishes. The establishment prides itself on its cleanliness, efficient service, and welcoming staff. It caters to both solo diners and families with children. One can enjoy slow-cooked pulled beef salad for lunch or opt for pulled beef burritos to take home.
Cracker joint. Best Mexican food in the Sutherland Shire. I prefer it over beach burrito. My favourite is the Cali burrito. The condiments and sauces are all free at a self serve bar. 10/10

AVOID! We paid 22$ for "nacho fries" and ice tea. No seasoning whatsoever. Blandest meat ever. Not even salt! What are these portion sizes? Are they rationing their meals? This place is a shame to Mexican food. If you ever want to waste your money, this is the place to come. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Today I visited Guzman y Gomez in Cronulla, and sadly I was disappointed. When this chain first opened in Sydney a few years ago, I tried the burritos and really enjoyed them. Since then however, I've learned to cook and make a lot of the traditional Mexican food options available here. I tried my luck with 2x Beef burritos, and a chicken dish they had on the menu. The food came out and it was underwhelming. I didn't enjoy the huge amount of rice they put on there, followed by the lack of quality meat and chicken ingredients. The Chicken dish was 85% rice and canned beans, and 15% actual chicken (if that). Mind you the prices for their beef burritos were high, and their chicken dish was more expensive than an actual whole cooked chicken. The food was poorly presented, the chicken was dry as hell, the beef burrito was lacking spice, seasoning and taste. In summary it was mostly thrown away. I won't be coming back here, the food is disappointing, and really expensive. This venue has become the definition of sloppy fast food. Sadly I have to admit that now that I know how to cook, places like this are becoming increasingly less appealing.

My two children’s kids chicken burritos, less than 1% chicken. All rice and a little cheese, $6 each. Terrible. My wife and I had ‘sautéed vege’ burrito which the only vege in it was 10 day old pungent red onion. So disappointed, 12 each and nothing but rice bean and old onion.

Best Mexican food ever 🇲🇽 The fastest staff in Sydney. Good quality of food, not bad from nutrition point of view and prices friendly.
Petr S — Google review
I once gave 5 stars but this outlet has gone seriously downhill since the new franchisee took over. 😥VERY unreliable. Portions small, burrito bowl mainly rice hidden underneath the 6 bits of chicken and tomato. Sour cream I ordered and paid for left off twice in a row, guac just lumps of avo. There are much better Mexicans in Cronulla like Beach Burrito Co and El Sol. AVOID GyG.
Tess H — Google review
Normally we enjoy our meal here but not today. First half of my burrito was full of beans and rice no pulled pork to be seen. My husbands was cold and had paid extra for guacamole and sour cream, nearly finished before finding either of those! One star for fast service but felt like it was thrown together, would have preferred to wait another few minutes to have a nice meal.

Milky Lane Cronulla is a high-quality burger bar with amazing desserts and milky cocktails. The portions are slightly small, but this leaves room for the delicious treats. The staff provides great service without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is cozy with good music. While the prices can be a bit high, the food looks just like it does in Instagram photos and the vibe is perfect. The place has an amazing hip hop influenced styling and offers delicious burgers and beer batter fries.
This place has amazing service, great food and good vibes!Definitely keen to come back, and grateful for the positive experience the staff gave me.This place has a very fun vibe with hip hop influenced styling. The burger serving is very generous but it did not taste any different from most burger joint I've visited. We came for the milkshakes but was told that every month they remove and add special items onto the menu. The drink we did order was too sweet. Overall its a good place to visit once just to see whats the buzz all about but it isnt a place i would frequently visit.

High quality burger bar. A few friends with me said the portions were a little on the small side but I preferred this as it left room for the amazing deserts and milky cocktails. Service was great--Staff came round to check if we wanted to order more drinks before happy hour finished. They were attentive without being too much. The atmosphere here also needs a mention, it had good music and felt cosy. Would definitely recommend.

I thought to try this on international burger day because there was a promo - $10 for any burger when dining in. I thought the burger would be bigger but it wasn’t big at all. The buns were actually really nice but the meat and cheese were too salty. Worth $10 but definitely not the original price of $17. Disappointed as I heard many good things about this place. I’ve definitely had much better burgers. Other than that, service was good. Restaurant is a little too dark for my liking.

A great place for a dinner date, occasion and catching up with old mates. Friendly staff. Delicious food that is creative and thinking outside the box. Some great combinations of tastes and flavors. The cocktails are yummy and look awesome. All at affordable and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend to all.

Dined in on a Sunday lunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive, the young girl was great. Food was delicious and carby, not too greasy. The strawberry thickshake could have tasted more strawberry-like but the burger was cooked perfectly. They were very accommodating of my husband's wheelchair and baby in pram. Would definitely come again!

Weekday burger prices include soft drink and chips! Waitress was fantastic, good value and delicious! Took two 18 month old boys and they were really accommodating....put us in a window booth so they could watch the trucks and cars haha

The staff were very accommodating to a large group last minute. Helpful with ordering cocktails during happy hour, made delicious cocktails and all of the food is amazing. It's too difficult to pick what to eat because it's so amazing. The loaded fries, I have to say, might have been the best loaded fries I've ever had. And were easier to eat than any other fries I've had before. Definitely would recommend, on a date, with a small group or a large group
