The Good: Harbour Thai came highly recommended by locals, and it’s easy to see why. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The location is also a standout, with lovely views overlooking the beach that make for a relaxing dining atmosphere. Despite a busy Australia Day long weekend, the staff did manage to seat us promptly even though our online booking wasn’t on the list. Room for Improvement: Service was unfortunately a bit off during our visit. Drinks took 25 minutes to arrive (with one missing altogether), and food took even longer. One dish never arrived at all, and we had to explain the situation at the pay desk to have it removed from the bill. Understandable given the fully booked capacity on a public holiday weekend, but it did affect the overall experience. Would I Return? Yes — I’d love to come back on a quieter weekend to enjoy the food and views without the holiday chaos. The Verdict: A scenic and flavourful spot in Shellharbour that shines with its food and location. Worth a revisit when things aren’t quite so hectic.

Such a good place to unwind after a Saturday hike to the carrington falls and illawara treetop walk and sunset at Shellharbour beach with giant waves. The food was fantastic, ambience was very beachside vibes and the fried ice cream was amazing. Must try Thai next visit yo shell harbour.

This is my second time here. I had an amazing experience at Harbour Thai restaurant.. The food was amazing and the staff was very welcoming.

I recently tried this Indian restaurant and had such a great experience. We ordered garlic and plain naan, butter chicken, lamb korma, Hyderabad lamb biryani, and a salted lassi — and honestly, everything was delicious. The naan was so soft and fresh — probably some of the best I’ve had in a while. It paired perfectly with the butter chicken, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The lamb korma was just as good — tender pieces of lamb in a beautifully spiced, velvety sauce. The standout for me was the Hyderabadi lamb biryani. It was packed with flavor, fragrant, and had just the right amount of heat. The lamb was tender and cooked to perfection. I also tried the salted lassi, which was super refreshing and balanced the spices in the meal really well. Overall, I was really impressed — the food was full of flavor, well-prepared, and super satisfying. I’ll definitely be going back!

We recently ordered a huge amount of food for a big workplace birthday. I recommended Tandori Junction as "the best Indian" because they have never let us down in 20+ years. They didn't disappoint. Went out of their way to deliver out of area and the food was all hot, fresh, authentic and delicious. Unfortunately we didn't take photos as we were too busy eating! Thanks Tandori Junction.

Just had an awesome dinner with friends at this Indian restaurant! We kicked things off with the Chicken Biryani, and it was seriously flavorful – the rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender. The Tandoori Roti was on point, too, nice and crisp. And I tried Mango Lassi for the first time, so refreshing and sweet! For our mains, we dove into the Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The Tikka Masala had this creamy, tangy thing going on that was just addictive, and the Butter Chicken? Super rich and comforting. But the real star of the show was the Prawn Vindaloo. It had this incredible spicy kick that I couldn't get enough of. If you're a fan of heat, you gotta try it! The service was also great – our server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. (We even got complimentary desserts!) Overall, a fantastic meal with great company. Definitely planning a return trip!

I recently dined at Tandoori Junction and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that made it perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the garlic naan butterchicken, lamb Rogan Josh and biryani , which was cooked to perfection. Overall, Tandoori Junction offers great service, amazing food, and a lovely ambiance. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

Easily the best coffee in town and it is always delivered with super friendly and welcoming service. Definitely a hidden gem, would highly recommend!

The staff are very lovely the coffee is amazing. The only problem is they are too good and it's always super busy. If you are in a hurry might need to settle for not so good coffee elsewhere! Edited to add, I have discovered the skip app and it's amazing. You order before leaving the house and your coffee is ready by the time you arrive. Perfect!

The hot chocolates here are delicious. I also love the banana bread. Perfect treat on a weekend. The service is wonderful, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Service was friendly and professional. Food was great. We had a seafood Platter for 2 ($198) The seafood was great. The only criticism was that it was supposed to have grilled octopus which was sadly missing from the platter. There's plenty on the platter, both hot and cold and it's well worth the price.

We had the most delicious sushimi and fresh seafood platter! The sushimi was so good we ordered a third one! I can honestly say I think the tuna and salmon sushimi in ginger soy sauce is possibly the nicest thing I have ever eaten!

Came here for a work lunch at Waterfront Tavern. The venue has a great atmosphere and an even better view — perfect spot for a relaxed midday meal. I ordered the schnitzel and the lamb riblets. The schnitzel was great — generous portion, well-cooked, and really satisfying. The pepper sauce could’ve used more punch, but overall still a solid dish. The lamb riblets, unfortunately, missed the mark. The fatty-to-meat ratio was way off and they felt overpriced for what you got. The apple sauce on the side, though, was surprisingly good. Despite that, I’d definitely come back. Plenty more on the menu to try and the setting makes it worth a return.

We had a special birthday lunch at the tavern. Nice table for 4 overlooking water and a window seat. Beautiful trout, whiting and prawn dishes. Excellent cold seafood platter as entre'. Great occasion and certainly will go back to this venue.

Exquisite. Been wanting to come to this place for a while Glad that it was hubby's bday and was able to have and enjoy a magnificent dining experience. We had a beautiful seating spot right on waters edge. The cocktails were divine and the seafood platter was second to none magnificent. All fresh produce. From fresh oysters, prawns, to Lobster, fried fish, calamari and beautiful salad. Thankyou Waterfront Tavern for the service, it was second to none perfection 👌.

I had the oysters, natural and beef cheek. Both good but the oysters were up with the best ever, even compared to Sydney’s fresh seafood markets. Very impressed.

Lovely location and nice ambiance, but the service was disappointing. No one greeted us or explained the menu, and we had to chase our drinks, which were just left on the bar. Seafood platter was average—large portions but everything tasted the same. Not worth the price given the poor service.

First time to Shell Cove, which has major potential for a 'boardwalk' style dining experience in Shellharbour. Local friends took us to dinner at Georgia Rose, which has top positioning on the marina. It has a stylish pub atmosphere and although it was very busy, we managed to find a bar table. The good: The food was really well-cooked, generous portions, and reasonably priced. The venue itself is open and light-filled with beautiful styling, and it sits right on the water – great for people-watching or sunset drinks. The standout: The location – absolutely prime spot on the marina. Loved the mural on the wall and the overall aesthetic. It feels like the kind of place that could become a local favourite if they iron out a few things. The not-so-good: It’s order-at-the-bar style, which can get confusing when it’s busy. Our group of five didn’t receive meals at the same time, and drinks came out after the food – some confusion between bar staff. It felt a bit chaotic, though service was friendly. Would I return? Yes – I’d definitely give it another go when I’m down that way again. I think with time and consistency, it could be a really fantastic venue. The verdict: Great concept in a brilliant location with lots of potential. A few hiccups with service on the night, but still worth a visit if you’re in the area – especially on a sunny day by the water.

The Big Breakfast was good. Zucchini fritters were not nice. The fritters were not cooked. They were sloppy and I could not eat them. The coffee was good but served in a cup that was chipped.

Great sitting in the early sunshine having good coffee. Big breakfast was good and is a decent sized serving. The avocado 🥑 on toast is very tasty but the 🥑 is very stingy. The 🥕 🍰 is very very dry, I could not believe you could get such a dry carrot cake! I'm certainly not a baker and the carrot cake I've made is more moist that theirs. Overall a really pleasant spot and 🐶 friendly at the outside tables. Great spot for coffee meet-up.

Good experience overall. My fiancé and I dined with friends; the food was nice and the coffee was good, though we did notice and were disappointed by the lack of options on the menu for my fiancé, who has type 1 diabetes and likes to eat a lower carb diet. It’s a shame they don’t let you swap out elements of dishes without charging you for every addition yet not charging less to take things away (especially when it is for a medical reason). We liked the fact that, when ordering through the app, it asked if we wanted our food to arrive at the same time as everyone else on our table, however, we were waiting on food for a while after 2 out of 4 meals were delivered to our table which was disappointing. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. We loved that there was a pool table that we could play for free - we enjoyed spending time playing, drinking and chatting with our friends.

What a fabulous venue, the food was delicious and came so quickly after ordering. The outdoor space was just perfect and my pup Mace was even given a bowl of water while we ate. Incredible staff and lovely venue. Can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed a very late lunch here so the place was almost empty. This however did not detract from the food nor the omnipresent views of the boat harbour directly in front. The menu is extensive and possibly somewhat confusing for the uninitiated. We chose just to go with a selection of starters, all of which were well presented, tasty and generous. The drinks options are good and include a selection of classic Japanese inspired cocktails. Service is prompt and friendly.

We came here for the first last night and we were not disappointed, its finally great to have a decent Japanese restaurant close by and not having to drive to Wollongong all the time. It was nice and warm inside since it was freezing outside the place wasn’t busy at all so our food came out quick. The food was very fresh and delicious, the sauce for the curry could have a bit more flavour but everything else was perfect. Its clean inside, the decor is simple and was really nice to look at, the service is friendly. We will be back and I will take more pictures next time :)

Wasn't overly impressed with the food. One of our entrees needed to be sent back as the chicken was under cooked and still pink and squishy. They were quite responsive in taking it back and offering a new batch or something else. Mains were okay, but nothing amazing. Positives were that they were really great about diners with allergies, the service was fairly quick - other than the replacement entree, which took a fair while to come out, and the location.

Unfortunately did not like the food here at all. The worst edamame i've been served. As you can see from photo they were old and seemed re-heated multiple times. The ramen soup also nothing special.

First time dining at this Japanese restaurant and I can say I will be back. We were greeted at the door right away by Donna who was fantastic. Customer was amazing by Donna. Huge selection of foods and taste great. Donna did say it was busy tonight to let us know our food might take time but the food came out quickly. Donna came to check how everything was going with our food. When I eat out at places nothing I love more than to actually have a chat with the staff and Donna engaged in a proper conversation about the foods and sauces we had I love that about waiter’s. Thanks Donna you were fantastic. If you haven’t tried this place you should check it out. Definitely recommend

I had high hopes for this place and really wanted to support a local business but we ate the worst spring rolls, they were tasteless and so undercook. The noodles were so oily and lacking in flavour . The waitress didn’t smile and it felt like we were a burden.

I visited for lunch today with my partner and was really disappointed. The service was poor and our waitress clearly didn’t want to be there, and despite the restaurant not being busy, our food took a long time to arrive. I even had to remind the waitress to bring the mayonnaise I’d asked for. I paid $18 for a cocktail that tasted more like a cruiser, and the food itself was very average. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

A big thumbs up to Natasha who was doing the coffee... absolutely the best coffee I've had in Shell Cove. The food is absolutely amazing – the bacon & egg roll was awesome. Highly recommend!

Great spot near the pier with water features for the kids to play in and very close to kids beach - a shallow, netted area in the harbour for swimming. Staff were friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our ice cream here.

Great to see the new owners take on the business and bringing great enthusiasm with them. Already the coffee and service are up and both are excellent. The croffles and banana bread are too good to pass up and are great additions. The ice cream is as good as ever.

Very disappointing experience! The ice cream was honestly disgusting! no real flavour, just heaps of artificial colours and tastes that felt cheap and fake. To make things worse, the staff were not friendly and welcoming at all, which really spoiled the visit. We definitely wouldn’t go back or recommend this place to anyone looking for quality ice cream

This might be the only Ice-cream store you’ll find in this area. It looks busy over the weekends, especially on a warm summers day, but there’s nothing special about Bliss it’s just a shop serving average tasting Ice-cream. If you have tasted Cow & the moon gelato and Ice-cream , you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Love this store!! Bliss Ice Cream and Gelato has so many yummy flavors to choose from with many new additions to the mix like sorbates, frozen yoghurts and even ice cream especially made for dogs so you can share the fun with everyone in the fam including your furry friends! Everything is super delicious. Ive been coming here for years and love it every time. Would definitely recommend!

Churros were full of oil they were making us sick. We got two servings and my daughter couldn’t finish one without feeling sick. I ate 2.5 and now I feel so sick 🤢 Don’t bother coming here for churros.

What a gem! I really want to keep this place to myself but the staff deserve the recognition. Such a positive experience from the moment we walked through the door. A warm greeting at reception (thanks Cameron) and an easy joining process, pleasant interactions at the bar and bistro; a team who kept the dining space cleared and clean. My group enjoyed absolutely delicious food - selected from a vast menu - using obviously top quality ingredients that were prepared with care. The toilets were even spotless! The staff obviously take pride in their work. There is plentiful parking and a covered section at the level entry to offload or load passengers. The entry doors are automated.

Came in for dinner tonight with family for a party, and overall experience was amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, one worker especially helped us at our table with boxes and bags to take food home. Food was yummy and filling! I got a large sized Parma that took up my whole plate, worth the money. Recommend this place always for food and service!

A surprisingly good venue and certainly not your average Bowlo! Clean, modern and tastefully decorated. This is a huge venue with heaps of different spaces and entertainment facilities. The bistro and cafe serve modern pub style Australian cuisine like burgers, steak, schnitzel and pasta, as well as a few Asian inspired dishes. As you'd expect at a bistro like this, the meals are ample and come delivered quick and hot. Most mains are $20+ but there are a few dishes that are cheaper. We came on a Saturday night and they had an old school rock and roll band in one of the bar areas. They also have a huge indoor lawn bowls green, and a large number of competition dartboards along one side. There's an outdoor green too, just out the back. There is a smaller restaurant and outdoor seating area with a kids play area too. They have a massive screen for sports and a separate bar.

If you’re in Shellcove, you’ve got to check out Donut Jam. They do hot, fresh donuts that are super soft and tasty, plus strawberry cups that are always fresh and full of flavour. The vibes are great, the service is friendly, and it’s the perfect spot for a quick sweet treat.

The donuts 🍩 here are freshly cooked for you even at 9pm on a public holiday and area some of the best donuts you'll ever try. They are better than Krispy Kreme donuts 🍩 by a long shot. I ordered 5 donuts with hot fillings inside them including blueberry, passionfruit, Biscotti, Nutella and Portuguese Custard. They make the custard very well and it resembles Portuguese Custard so I judged their fillings based on that particular flavour, but their other fillings are also excellent. The donuts were great. The coffee wasn’t good. I probably wouldn’t sit there and eat my donuts but there’s plenty of nice seats close to the water. It is consistently busy so you’ll wait a while for your donuts. Girl who worked there was friendly.

Amazing donuts and service. The young man recommended the Portuguese Custard doughnut and it was so good it took me back a few years. I would 100% recommend to everyone.

Customer service was atrocious when i had asked to cover more of the dohnuts with cinnamon they refused and got angry. Photos are misleading i do not recommend this place. For both their food and their workers.

Very overpriced a strawberry cup with bueno sauce is $20 that is such a rip off

Today my son and I stopped by and got some donuts which were absolutely delicious! For some context, the 2 donuts I purchased were in the same bag (as you would expect) and for anyone who’s navigated toddlerhood, my 3 year old went into immediate meltdown mode when I took my donut from the bag and started to eat it. In the midst of the chaos, my son’s donut fell onto the floor and then ended up in the bin. While I was trying to calm my son, the man that served us must have spotted what was unfolding just outside the shop and came over with some donut balls and icecream. Just like that, my son’s tantrum was over as he was excited to eat his donuts and icecream and me, ( a stressed out mama) was so very grateful for the kindness that was given to us! It’s thoughtful customer service like this that will make us customers for life. Thank you!! I highly recommend!

New menu this time - Delicious meals always , great attention to detail & fabulous staff. Always an amazing experience, great view from the balcony nothing better than a long lunch on a great day! We’ve had the same male waiter (Caleb?) numerous times over the last year - service always amazing (great knowledge of menu & wine👌🏻. Although the amount we spent was significant we did indulge in beers & very nice Chardonnay so don’t freak out lol.

We were walk-ins and immediately got a table for lunch. Initially I felt the lady that served us was very brusque and unfriendly but turned out she was very talkative and forthcoming with comments. I was also very pleased that they brought the starters only (not along with the mains) like some restaurants I've experienced. Seating was comfortable, I would encourage that both my husband and I each get a serviette and we don't need to share one, having said that, we could have asked for another. As for the wine, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised that they don't give you a half a glass like all the other places we've been, it was an almost full glass of wine. Thank you. The starter of prawn and calamari was excellent, the slaw was too sweet, but I'm not a sweet tooth. I had the chicken salad, excellent. Hubby had the steak and he was very happy with it. 1st time having dinner at relish and the atmosphere was nice when we arrived. We were greeted straight away by our waiter tim and he looked after us the whole night and engaged in conversation when I asked him about the food I was going to order he was honest about my question which made my decision easier for my meal. Food was presented well and the food was excellent the entree came out and they were delicious. Then they mains came out in perfect timing after the entrees then main meals were balanced with the elements on the plate all flavours worked and paired nicely. We will be back and if you haven’t tried relish it’s worth giving it a try. And thanks Tim for your amazing customer service and a good chat.

Absolutely incredible dining experience. From the happy hour Toblerone Cocktail to the most magnificent 7 course Chefs menu dinner. Great value for money and wonderful hospitality from all the staff. We’ll be back many more times.

One of my favourite resturants in the illawarra and has been for many years. Always exceptional food and service. The Rib-eye was mouth watering.

Was a little loud where we were seated but the waitress was happy to move us and it was much better . Food was good portions and fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive . Pizzas are always good here We also had a mushroom veal dish and a veal with honey and chilli gravy and they were both good too and plenty of meat and it was tender . Desserts were nice too Creme brûlée and the panacotta is always a fav .

We arrived as a walk in and were told that they we fully booked, but looking at the restaurant not even half full it didn't seem correct. We then walked outside and booked online and got a table. The staff later apologied and said they were short staffed. Food is delicious however and will return. Great GF and DF diatary selections.

Excellent Italian cuisine. We’ve been going there for a few years. Their food is awesome and the cocktails are good as well. Great atmosphere and big portions. Try the desserts. Well worth it. Booking is essential on Fridays and Saturday’s as the place is usually packed. Notes: even in 2022 the food is still good and the deserts are yummy.

It’s not good. My food was certainly edible but there was no ability to taste any individual components of the dish. It was pasta, cream and salt. The other dishes around the tablet looked the same. The service was lightening fast but that’s a mixed blessing. It’s nice not having to wait but then you know your food was prepared much earlier and was waiting around to be ordered.

Have been driving past here for quite a while and thought we'd try it out last Saturday. The restaurant had only been open an hour and when ordering our meals my wife wanted lamb shanks, but that choice was already not available which was disappointing for her. She ended up having the chicken schnitzel which was overcooked and nearly bounced off the plate when she tried cutting it. She had a sparse amount of veg with it, being 2 slices zucchini, 4 green beans, 4 halves of potato and one slice of capsicum all hidden under the schnitzel. It was also very dry having no sauce with it. I had spaghetti bolognese which was at least hot and not too bad. It was very cold in the restaurant the whole time we were there which didn’t make the dining experience nice. Everyone around us was eating while still wearing their coats. It was also very bright which didn’t add to the atmosphere and not even any background music which also would have made it better. There was a long wait to ask for dessert and a long wait to ask for the bill. And it wasn't that busy. It was too cold to have a long wait for anything. I don’t know if it was where we were sat? A table for two near the toilets. We hope this was a one-off as it didn’t make our visit pleasant, was memorable for the wrong reasons and didn't make us feel we wanted to go back there.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. We ordered take away and were notified that our order was ready via text. My husband turned up to pick it up and waited 25 minutes as they had clearly forgotten a pizza. No apology and meanwhile the rest of the food was sitting on the counter getting cold. When he mentioned this there was no apology or anything. When he came home with food I opened the gnocchi expecting 'homemade' gnocchi considering I'd paid $24 for it. I took one bite and it was 100% prepackaged store bought gnocchi from Aldi. I know this because I have bought that gnocchi myself before. The garlic bread was cold. Disappointing when you pay hard earned money for what was meant to be an enjoyable evening in. When we tried to ring the restaurant it goes to an answering machine, like no one wants to answer. Money down the drain. Thanks so much Nardis. UPDATE: I ended up driving to Nardis as the gnocchi was inedible and the cheese and garlic pana bread was hard as a rock. I did end up getting my money back for those two items, but to claim to be an Italian restaurant that charges $20-$30 for a pasta but uses store bought prepackaged pasta is just ridiculous. I'll go to il Lagos next time, where I know the food is fresh and amazing every single time and we use them regularly, but thought we'll try something different... not again.

I was passing through Shellharbour on my way to Sydney and decided to stop for dinner at Rehal’s. I’m so glad that I did. The service was warm and friendly, the food was prompt and delicious, and when it came time to pay and I couldn’t find some small coins they said “no problem” with a smile. Highly recommended and I will be back.

I’ll give 5 stars for the atmosphere. The food is okay. We ordered Butter Chicken, which contains food colouring. But if you are Indian, don’t go to this place—they may discriminate. Also, the staff is rude. If you don’t believe me, you don’t need to visit the restaurant; you can just check their responses to people who were not happy with the service in the “lowest” comments. Customers are entitled to their opinion, and the restaurant should respond to them without being “RUDE.” I have added photo of my fingers after washing twice with soap and scrubbing thoroughly.

Great experience dining here. Ordered the goat curry and requested extra spice. Unlike other restaurants who just add a few chillies on top, this one actually infused the spice into the gravy and I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender and juicy and fell off the bone. The staff was warm and welcoming too. Would highly recommend!

We went there on our friends' recommendation. We ordered several menu items. Mango Lassi and cheese naan were excellent. However, both curries were floverless, and they were coloured with food colouring, which stained our hands after eating. However, the colour should come from spices, not from the colouring. We expected more from this place.

Andaman Thai is a beautiful restaurant at the heart of shell harbour beach. It’s one of the more popular places to eat and who doesn’t love Thai food! The restaurants interior is quite spectacular and inviting. The entire ceiling is decorated with artificial wisteria flowers, which has a colourful & summer vibe. The restaurant capacity can accommodate approximately 60 people, large enough for parties or just a casual lunch or dinner. To start I would order a Thai milk tea, one of the best I’ve tasted. To eat the menu has plenty to choose from including starters, chefs recommendations, salads, soup, stir fried, barbecue, curry, fried rice, noodles, rice & sides, drinks, desserts and kids menu. The things that caught my eye from Andaman was the decoration and the presentation for each dish. The least that caught my eye was the price as it’s quite expensive and the flavours of some of the dishes. Some stand out dishes were unique that I’ve never tried at a Thai restaurant, however it’s also not the best Thai food I’ve tasted but it’s decent enough to enjoy the meal.

Went here to eat with my friend last night. She LOVES everything spicy and asked for extra chilli in her meal and rice. I do think they may have thought I must’ve liked it hot too because I’m telling you it was HOT. It was still worth it and even though I really faced the repercussions this morning, I’d be willing to go back!

We ordered the Cashew Nut Noodle and Duck Plum sauce. Both were delicious and had lots of flavour. I forgot to take a photo until we were half way through 😂 Atmosphere was great, the flowers hanging from the ceiling was mesmerising!

I recently visited Central Hotel for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. We opted to sit outside in their beautiful covered outdoor area, which offered stunning views—such a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. For lunch, we both chose the grilled chicken with prawns, served with a creamy sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. The portion size was generous, and the meal was filling without being overwhelming, offering great value for the price. Afterward, we moved inside to enjoy a cappuccino and both had a crème brûlée for dessert. The dessert was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly executed. The service was excellent throughout the visit, with attentive and friendly staff, and the space itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing meal in a lovely setting, and I'll definitely be returning!

We came for the $15 Monday night schnitzel and we got the biggest snitty I have ever seen! It was also juicy and delicious on top of being absolutely massive. Great value for money! Also shoutout to the staff for being super friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back!

The service was outstanding!! Great atmosphere. We ordered the Seafood Laksa which was delicious creamy pasta with perfectly cooked prawns and mussels Steak chips & salad with prawns. The scotch fillet was very thin like schnitzel so it wasn't medium rare unfortunately. Fish tacos were lovely, the fish was crisp outside, flakey inside with coleslaw and smoky sauce. Grilled chicken burger & chips was cooked well and very tasty. Mussels were a tad overcooked and the beards were still attached to most of them. On my first visit I had the mussels, they were delish and plump with no the beards! What happened? We will be back but will not be ordering any mussels. Cheers

We called in there today to have lunch,sat in the bistro at 11.23 (quite happy just to sit there until 11.30 with our drinks until the restaurant opened at 11.30) Nope ,we were informed by a lady 'doesn't open until 11.30'and gestured to leave the bistro area. No problem, we did completely, headed over to Oak flats instead and had lunch & it was cheaper for the drinks & our meal. We won't be returning .

Went here for an early Mother's Day dinner. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday night and we were there nice and early. The waitress was either new or didn't listen. She put down we wanted the noodle option for everything, even though we clearly stated for two that we didn't. One error was identified before the food came out, but the other not until it had been made. In saying that, the situation was rectified and we all got on with it. Thai was okay, I'd say mid for what I have had before. Price was okay. Parking in the parking lot down the driveway.

Aharn at Shellharbour is our go to place for a quick no fuss Thai lunch. We are never disappointed with meals and staff are always so friendly and welcoming. We will always return knowing that we will leave happy.

Tasty fresh five star Thai food delivered to our room in the adjoining motel. The restaurant has nice decor in an older style building that has a touch of character. Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Salad & Chicken Green Curry were all great, highly recommended.

One of the latest eatery offer in the Gong some quality Bavarian cuisine. The atmosphere is that of a bustling German beer hall. It's loud, packed and jamming. The food is very good, the kid schnitzel is huge and during school holidays kids get to eat for free! The crispy pork knuckle was delicious. As you'd expect it was crispy on the outside and the meat was tender and juicy inside. Being a knuckle there were also good those good fatty, tendon bits. It would of been a 5 star experience except for a couple things. Our table was not ready for the time it was booked and they also got our bill incorrect 3 times 🤨

Wednesday Night Dining. Mario was our first point of contact, and he also took our order. He was Very Polite and Friendly. Explained about their Special on Wednesday "All you can eat Meat" @ $35 a head. In my younger days I would have said "bring it on", come to think of it I would have just said "ok we'll have that". There were no kids drinks on the Drinks Menu. I just ordered them a Stein each of Beer, and....... no, I didn't 😉 Mario rolled off a few Soft Drinks they had, so they ordered them instead. I shared the Munich Platter for 2 People @ $49pp with my son. It was substantial value. The 2 x Hot Pretzel came out first with the Butter (mmm butter sorry I dribbled a little), 2 Words for the 2 Pretzels, "Oh Yum". Then came the Mains. Sausages were nice and hot, and the rest of the Meats were a bit on the warm side. Pork Knuckle and the Belly was a little on the Dry side. Sauerkraut and Red Cabbage on the side was quite nice. My Daughter had the "Mountain Climber" salad with the Schnitzel add on. She loved every little bit of the Salad. I tasted the Salad and, the Mustard Caper Dressing was unbelievably wow! We did wait about 30mins for Desert to arrive which was fine, apart from the Kids starting to get cold. We did choose to sit outside. The other waitperson did offer for us to move inside, where it was warmer, after She delivered the Strudel and Ice cream. This was the letdown after waiting, I suppose for me really, not the kids. The portion of the Strudel was ridiculously small (on the menu it has a $16 price tag, Hmmm). Now I'm not sure if the serving we got was the same size as you would order by itself, it would be sad if it were, as these were part of the Munich Platter (See pic for what's included). Unfortunately, the Ice Cream was no better than the Woolworths home brand. It was icy and just not nice. There was no creamy taste to it which you need to have that with Strudel. Dessert gets a miserable 3 out of ten. Mains, apart from the "Only Warm" and Dry Pork issue, I would rate it a 7.5 out of ten. Service I would rate 8.5 out of ten.

The vegetarian schnitzel along with mash potato was also cooked very well. The snakebite was deadly! Great flavours and so much liquor ! Absolutely loved it ! The Sibylle Rauch Colada had a unique flavour with the addition of passion fruit to a regular pina colada. Another must have !

These pretzels were making me thirsty so the Steins of German beer was 5star. The food was large in size but I expected much more salty goodness from the pork knuckle . The pork belly was excellent. Dropped by for a quick lunch yesterday, young lady that wore glasses with dark hair was very polite & lovely towards me & my children. Coffee & food didn’t take long to come out even though it was nearly full house. Breakfast plate that we had was quite nice & chips were spot on. Tables were cleared swiftly & wiped down once customers left. Overall, a pretty pleasant experience. Will pop in next time we are down at Shellharbour.

We booked the function room for a baby shower and the customer service we received from the Coffee Club team was top shelf and the function room is the best kept secret in Shellharbour. The atmosphere was perfect and was complimented with the high tea and great service that our guests received. We gave a 5 star rating for today's visit to The Coffee Club with special thanks to Cheryl and Teraya who done everything needed to make our baby shower a success.

We have been here quite a few times now and we keep coming back, I looks forward to our coffee date one Sunday. I absolutely love there salted caramel frappe and the make your own omelette it’s delicious. We never have to wait for too long for our food and drinks and the staff are always lovely. I will post more photo when we have something different :)

I noticed the staff is very polite and helpful always smiling, and attending to your needs, will priced very nice menu and ,atmosphere, including a little park outside if your kids get a little tensed up. I really like that place, but I really like the service and the people that work there.

Very nice place staff extremely friendly tables to suit even for trolleys and prams. Place is clean smells amazing. Coffee is nice and strong and you get what you order the first time. All staff have a smile and make you feel important very well mannered, not like some service places who the staff hate being there and have long faces. these lovely people clearly enjoy the job if not they hide it well. Service is prompt short wait on order and well presented when arrived. We will be back. Thankyou for giving us the break we needed from the dreaded christmas shopping and enduring the rest of the world we were able to get lost in our conversations and coffee. Was certainly a pleasant experience.

My partner and myself have had breakfast and lunch multiple times here. We have never had a bad experience nor a bad meal! Staff are always friendly, the place is always well presented nice and clean, an overall lovely and welcoming atmosphere. We booked in for the Christmas High Tea & it was sensational. One of the best high teas we have ever had. So much delicious food from savoury to sweet & of course - incredible scones! Good place to stop for breakfast after leaving Sydney. Great coffee and food. The staff were friendly and attentive. Arriving Sunday morning around 9, all inside tables were in use or reserved. As walk-ins without a booking we got a table outside. There is a bit of traffic and aircraft noise when you're outside. Glad we found this and avoided the bigger crowds further down the highway at Berry.

Went here for high tea. Very nice food. The relaxing tea works a treat. I had 3 cups and just about fell asleep. A wider selection of natural flavour teas would be nice if possible, particularly for those who are not into flavoured tea.

I ordered a Prawn and Chicken Laksa for $27 and got 2 prawns and few little strips of chicken and a few ceg, mainly all noodles and stock, I thought for that price I would've got at least 6 prawns. These meal for being a soup was very overpriced.

This is my parents favourite restaurant. They come here just about weekly. They appreciate that the meals are consistency what they expect and the service if friendly and helpful. The staff always remember their favourite meals. The staff really make you feel welcome.

The restaurant was amazing! The staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. We had honey chicken, combination oyster, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, Singapore noodle and prawn crackers – in the combination there were LOTS of BIG prawns, everything was fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. 2nd time we've been after not visiting for years. I beleive different owners now. Might be wrong, but the staff are exceptional. So welcoming with big smiles. Great place, food is tasty, packed with flavour but doesn’t leave you feeling sick and guilty afterwards. Service is absolutely amazing, without first commenting, my 4 year old said “they are really nice here” upon leaving. There is street parking or parking behind the strip of shops so you can walk around to the front entrance. We won’t have Chinese food anywhere else. Absolutely great work to all that work here, they should be proud.

Albion Park Rails best kept secret. It's definitely worth dining in. The front ladies are lovely and accommodating and the food is great. The honey chicken is a must try. Not the prettiest place but good food at a good price.

Went to order three normal meals for dinner and it was going to be $85. The lady on the phone let me know if I spend one extra dollar I could get the dinner pack which came with a whole extra meal, four dim Sims and four spring rolls. They ended up giving us six dim Sims and six spring rolls. Awesome value, thanks so much guys!

Great little club in a quiet, tucked away location. The food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. Bar prices are also very good. Staff were all friendly as were the locals. We will definitely be back.

The lunch time special at Warilla Sports Club was great. I chose the toasted Turkish bread with 3 fillings, chicken, cheese and avocado. It came with salad and chips and was very tasty. I was happy with my choice and will return to try the other options.

Went for dinner here tonight. I ordered a pizza which the base was tough of and the chorizo was burnt, veg served cold for other meals. Went to order a cake at 8:10pm from one of the servers who was happy to grab it out for me when another came out and told me they were already shut and turned the lights to the cake display off which I thought was ridiculous. Will be going to the bowling club instead from now on

We used to get great Pizza’s delivered from Pinocchio’s, but the last 3 times has been very ordinary to say the least! Lack toppings, order and pay extra for toppings yet don’t receive? They send a link to leave reviews that don’t go public, so I guess that’s why their Google Rating is still high? Oh, and you’d think that they would make time to respond to negative reviews left on their system?

Ordered online, a special of 2 large pizzas and garlic bread, for pick up. We chose the tomato meat and the feta chooky, the process was really easy, it was ready within the expected timeframe, service was super friendly and the food was delicious and hot, with very generous toppings. Only criticism was the garlic bread could have been a bit crispier on the outside, but having said that, the inside was soft and full of garlicky buttery goodness. Great tasty pizza that leaves you with a nice tingle around the lips. I eat chilli everyday so love a good spicy pizza. This was on point, not too over the top that you couldn't taste what you were eating. Go the Americano!

Spent $200 on mains.order pizza for take away which was incorrect and wouldn't except the return of one. How hard would it be to make another and have happy customers. We were disappointed with our pizzas tonight. The garlic pizza had very little garlic taste. The chicken and house pizzas were burnt on the crust .

The burrito was a bit dry but the meat was tender and the tortilla was cooked alright. The nachos lack flavor, the guacamole needs something to brighten the sauce. This is not a genuine Mexican to go to when you are craving Mexican food unless you are desperate. Food went out quick though and staff are happy, friendly and nice. They have segregated their own dining space considering they are in a food court so this helps their customers a lot too.

At this gyg i received a frozen chip, and now 4 seperate occasions i have asked them to not put guacamole on my burrito because i was allergic to avo and every time i go thru without fail put it on. and when i sent it back they came with half the meat on it

Terrible nachos.... $10.80 for some chips, black beans, avo, and minuscule amount of product that could have been chicken..... and I only knew that because of the gristle. And they had the hide to ask if I wanted sour cream on that.... not included in the price.... another $1 more. A staff member was also LOUDLY CLEANING TABLES and moving and throwing down stools with no recognition of HOW LOUD THEY WERE BEING. PICK the stool up and replace it nicely.. no need to kick it into place.

We have been here for lunch with friends and the cashew nut 🌰 chicken 🐓 Pad Sam Ross was not very nice in fact terrible taste 👅 yuk and Pad Thai chicken 🐓 with rice 🍚 ! They took a long time to bring out our meals and mine was only warm and not hot 🥵 !? In fact it was the worst Thai restaurant meal I’ve ever tasted!😤! I even had to go and have a coffee ☕️ and Sfogliatelle pastry 🥐 to get rid of the taste 👅! Not sure 🤔 why other people say it is the best Thai restaurant food they have tasted? They must not get out very much! And tasted many restaurants! ❤️not sure if we will come back here again?

Little hidden gem. Reasonable price. Delicious thai food. 16 nov 2021 - visited for the 2nd time. They have got new menu.

Excellent Thai joint. Always have quality food and is my usual spot I go to for Thai. However when I dined in they have a lunch special. However when we went to order it off the menu. However they said they no longer doing it. However it's on the menu and not crossed off. This is the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars. I do recommend this place for a good Thai meal.

RTOT is an exceptional Thai restaurant. We started to visit many years ago because it was so good. We have been home for 2 years now & have resumed dining there. The food is always the same, each time we visit, yummy! We have lived in Asia & know the authentic tastes. This restaurant certainly has it. The staff are just beautiful, especially, Kiki. She cannot do enough for you & remembers what you had last visit. I’ve tried others & we always return to this restaurant over & over. Very personable. The staff treat you like friends. Best ever. Went and had a delicious dinner here where everything tasted great!! Really enjoyed the crying tiger and the satay was delicious but it always is when it comes to Thai food. Staff were great will happily return here in the future

Amazing, really good Thai at good lunch special prices. Definitely one of the best pad thai's I've ever had.

Is it normal practise for this establishment to have staff walking around bear footed? Along with other health code violations like staff not wearing gloves or hair nets on the food prep line? To top it off staff in the back weren't even wearing uniform with one female only wearing a tank top for a shirt. I know it's only dominoes but as a business you have a responsibility to hold your staff up to a minimum standard, which has been failed miserably. On-top of that, spending an extra $10+ on a pizza you'd expect a little more mushrooms on your pizza. Mean while I got what looks like the last scraps from the prep line. I couldn't bring my self to eat when I got home as your shope can't follow basic food prep health and safety requirements.

Im a bit dissapointed with our pizzas tonight. We ordered 3 pizzas, two of which were the wrong pizzas. One was supposed to be loaded supreme but was covered in a pinkish sauce ( way too much) and one was supposed to be chicken and camembert but was hawaiian with a creme sauce. Too late in the day to call and request new pizzas but its dissapointing when you treat yourself for one night and dont get what you ordered.

I mean, it’s a Domino’s. The food was pretty decent for fast food pizza, but there’s no in shop seating and very little standing room to wait for your order. Service is always speedy, but make sure they give you everything!

They should change there closing time cause clearly 11pm is not right or they are just to lazy, order got cancelled 20mins before closing time spent $40 now have to wait for a refund that i have no idea when I'll receive poor effort and pure lazy...

Very ordinary service and extremely light-on with all toppings.

For state of origin night at 7.15pm the staff were cool calm and collected, double checking names and keeping us informed, can't fault... Brady at the counter was a super star 5 stars !!

What has happened to the size of the pizzas. I opened the boxes out large pizzas to find kiddie pizzas!!!!! Talk about honey I shrank the pizza!! No more dominos you lost our business

Got home and found multiple hairs baked into our pizza. We called the shop because it was take away and they denied anyone having dark hair at the shop (at least one of the girls did because she was the one that took our order) and offered us 10% off our next pizza. I'm sorry, but after working in customer service for over 10 years I would bend over backwards--even if it's not my mistake because that's an awful feeling biting into a hairy pizza.

3 of us had dinner for the first time here.We sharrd garlic bread. My friends had chicken schnitzel with chips which was huge fresh and they said very yummy. I chose gnocchi bolognaise which i was reluctant as I know my sauce. The gnocchi was fresh but the sauce was too rich and sour for me my friends tasted it and didnt like it either. Other then that we drank table water the bill was $72. I believe pizzas are good there and i probably shouldve had that.

Terrible service. Waited an hour and a half for one pizza and some pasta and never got it. First time we have ever walked out of a restaurant.

shnitzels were the worst i've ever had, took 20+ minutes to come out. chef was rude and a arrogant unprofessional. i asked if there was some chicken salt for the chips in which he replied go to the takeaway shop if you want that. he also had airpods in his ears.

Service is decent, food consistency can be sporadic. Some days it's great, some days it's poor. Drinks prices are reasonable, $8 for a CC and dry is decent

Great food, great entertainment, meat raffles, easy parking and they even have poker tournaments there. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Went there on Sunday 5/10/2025 for lunch with a friend I ordered friend chicken it was nice I’ve had better the chicken wasn’t all white inside and my friend got pork belly and Deb potato on the plate and got cheesy garlic bread the cheese was grilled on top not even the bun was cooked for $12 a bit steep.we did complain but they didn’t seem to care won’t be going back there anytime soon. $75 for Lunch a bit overpriced definitely been to better places .we were watching the chef and the cooks they were all over the place a place I wouldn’t like to work..

The price is just too expensive for what you get. The food has dropped in quality since they opened. Will be second guessing my decisions on going back there to eat again.

We made a quick stop and decided to stop for lunch. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyed, and the staff lovely, apologising that we had to wait due to a bowling event on. We were ok and understood, but it was nice that the woman came over to check on us and apologised. Highly recommend.

I had a delivery of BBQ chicken pizza with anchovies and feta cheese. To be honest there was hardly any chicken and didn't taste BBQ at all .. it was just a much of something white on a thin base . Absolutely disgusting and inedible.. very poor value for money (cost $34) .. never going to order again

Ordered two pizzas, garlic bread and chips tonight. The chips were not seasoned and undercooked. I had to throw them in the oven at home for 20 minutes. Also I added bacon to my order for $3 and had about 5 small pieces on the pizza, I only found them after dusting off my microscope. This Crust pizza is awful you're better off going to Dominoes.

Not usually one to leave a bad review, but this is now the third time I’ve ordered from this store and I’ve been left disappointed again. Crust is usually my go to and I order from the Wollongong store, but I was genuinely frustrated this time. I ordered the Peri Peri Chicken pizza which came with no Peri Peri sauce at all. I’ve attached a photo for reference. It has garlic aioli sauce added which I pay extra for.

I have always thought of crust pizza as a higher end pizza place but after tonight I don’t think I can get pizza from there anymore. We ordered the 1889 Margherita and it seems like they take no pride in their pizza and how they present it, there was no basil and the pizza looked like it was made with their eyes closed. I also ordered the “brownie bites”, which turned out to be one single sad looking soggy brownie.It was quite offensive to me that they would serve us something like that

I don’t know why we continue to order from Crust Shellharbour, but this was the last time! They take FOREVER to deliver! We live 10 minutes away and without fail we end up waiting hours for our order. Tonight we pre-ordered at 4:30pm, were told it would be delivered by 6pm. 6:20pm we called and were told it had left the store and was on its way. It’s currently 6:40pm and STILL no pizza! Worst service ever!!!

The cabinet glass that houses the prepared ingredients was dirty with smears across it. Poorly cleaned. The gourmet pizzas as average, taste ok. Extra charge for vegan cheese is robbery especially as you don't have to out on the included mozzarella. 3 pizzas $80. Not again

30% of the order was missing, food that arrived wasn't cooked, base was completely white, cheese not melted, food was cold. We previously ordered from their other company that does brisket, that food was dangerously cooked, my partner is a chef and she said its actually unsafe to eat it.

Banquet prices are not updated on google maps, not it’s more expensive. Rainbow steak was delicious, however sweet and sour pork was bland and soggy. They should really serve the sweet and sour sauce in a seperate container so it’s not soggy after take away

Delivery a bit slow because of Covid in drivers. Understood! Best Short Soup we’ve ever eaten (& there have been many) meals were delicious & all arrived on our doorstep extremely hot! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!!!

So disappointed in this restaurants attitude tonight as we have been long term customers here. We paid by card tonight and were asked if we wanted a receipt. We said no, the lady turned her back to us and we asked if the payment went through to which she replied yes all good, thank you, bye. Whilst sitting down to eat we received a message to advise that the payment declined and to either return and pay immediately or they will call the cops. We called immediately to sort out the issue, but the lady continued to be rude and blame us while we paid over the phone. Horrible service tonight, but normally good every other time.

Been getting home delivery for 10 years. Always reliable ,always gets it to us as quickly as possible. If we've ever complained bout something not right ; they have been on to it straight away. Food probably is standard Oz Chineses takeaway. But we always enjoy it.

Bit of an up and down experience. My wife loved her honey chicken, my Mongolian lamb had a very nice flavour but the lamb was very chewy. The service was very poor, I had to get up to order drinks,entree had to tell them that we were ready to order main and had to get up again to order desert.Didnt get asked if we would like anymore to drink. The high chairs were very outdated and we struggled to put the straps on. I asked if they were safe and was told yeh. I would not take my family here again

Amazing service and food! We had our first ever date at Il Lago in Mt Warrigal a year ago and came back tonight for our anniversary. The staff were absolutely lovely and said happy anniversary to us when they first seated us, offered to take photos of us after we'd eaten and gave us a complimentary dessert. Everything was delicious and so affordable in comparison to other restaurants in our area. Can't praise Il Lago enough, thank you so much for a wonderful night - you truly helped it feel special!

Fantastic Friday night dinner spot. Took our own alcohol and enjoyed the service and food. Busy night in the restaurant, takeaways and door dash/menu log drivers coming and going non stop, however the staff remained highly professional and no one appeared to wait very long. Staff are welcoming, attentive and a pleasure to deal with, nothing we asked was bothersome to them. Everything we tried was full of flavour. Highly recommend the pizzas, the base was cooked perfectly on both the garlic cheese and then the Nutella pizza we ordered. Pappardelle Boscaiola and Vesl Scaloppine were both standouts. il Lago really is a hidden little gem of a restaurant and we look forward to our next visit

We had a wonderful night at Il Lago! Cosy and warm atmosphere with traditional Italian feel. The pastas were generous and delicious- the Crudo pizza was to die for! I had the gnocchi which came with a whole burrata and my husband said lamb shank linguine was one of the best pastas he’s ever had ( and he’s Italian!) We loved the byo option and service was so friendly. Can’t wait to visit again ❤️🤩🇮🇹

Had a lovely dinner here. Very friendly staff and delicious food really enjoyed the Nutella pizza at the end. Look forward to coming again to try more dishes especially the garlic bread watching it come out to other tables made us wish we had got it

Loved the food and service at this little local eatery, which is classic rustic countryside Italian. They have a special lamb shank linguine that is to die for! Will definitely be back, and will BYO next time! No photos because I smashed my dinner too quickly 😆

For the price the food is good. I found the flavour to be a bit lacking in the sauces. Lots of good quality meat and vegetables which was a treat. The restaurant itself has no atmosphere, and the lady taking orders does so on loud speaker. They could greatly improve the place by creating a better atmosphere in the restaurant. I recommend you get takeaway instead.

The original and best in the area. The owners have been there for well over 40 years! Unfortunately the decor shows this. Closed Monday and Tuesdays these days.

Only had one takeaway "combination short soup". Whilst it was nice, it was the smallest I've ever had and there were NO noodles included. The combination short soup was in a flat style Chinese container. The same dish at the other Chinese in town comes in two large containers.

AWFUL I know good food, and this is waaaay below the standards for an average Chinese. Waste of $60 Fried rice - tasteless, stodgy & with nasty cheap ham pieces in it chicken was awful...soggy They didn't put holes in the lids so all the moisture affected the 'crispyness' Was all covered in more of a thick soggy dough ...disgusting Plum sauce - tasted weird & nothing like plum. Wasted $$ Highly DO NOT RECCOMEND Also the attitude of the owner was very money focused not customer focused . The guy who took our order was friendly. But the actual owner....she was not. Can't believe they have 4+ stars....saying that they are mostly from years ago....so....

Best Chinese food in Illawarra. I'm very fussy when it comes to Chinese and I haven't found a descent one till I was told about Kai's Asian Takeaway. I can always tell by the fried rice, if it's good then the rest is great and that's what happened. The fried rice was sensational made properly with salt and sugar. The curry was smack on delicious, highly recommend this place, try it for yourself you won't be disappointed, Cheers .

First visit here, food was so fresh, clean Chinese. Have not had such a great lemon chicken in 30 years. Very nice

Food was ok, some some good some not the best. But we were told 25mins for delivery and it took an hour. Then charged $5 delivery even though we spent $100. Then we ordered the pack and we’re charged $3 to upgrade each fried rice to special fried rice (fine, understandable) then an additional $4 for each main that we picked for the pack!!! Maybe the seafood combination (even though it was just fish and calamari) but $4 for duck and $4 for mongonlian lamb. Don’t have packs if you are going to Jack up the price. Or have a list of dishes included in the pack price. Won’t be returning.

DECENT FOOD. Tonight I tried 4 dishes plus mixed entreés and the fried rice. The entrees were quite good (loved the dim sims) and the fried rice also. The mains were pretty nice but I feel they could have had a little bit more flavour, and the pad Thai needed fresh lemon and bean shoots. All in all I would get their takeaway again

Visited “Thai Asian Mix Restaurant” in Nowra for dinner and wow, what a gem! We ordered the Massaman Beef Curry, Black Pepper Wagyu, and some Curry Puffs to start. Every dish was bursting with flavor—the curry was rich and creamy, the wagyu was perfectly tender with a bold peppery kick and stir fried with crispy delicious vegetables. Service was friendly, and the vibe was cozy. Absolutely loved it, 5/5! Can’t wait to come back.

The crispy pork belly and garlic sauce is delicious although I do with there was more meat in each dish I think there wasn’t the best ratio. I ordered online it was easy and fast delivery.

Oh dear guys I have to add this to my previous below review. Im not sure if you guys have changed hands or chefs but wow the food for me was a negative. Mango curry was the first noted, strong raw curry powder smell and no mango taste...my favourite dish and so disappointing. Stirfry cashew watery and no taste. Barely any mock meat when pay a premium. Special fried rice absolutely not flavour and mock meat almost non existant. $102 for 4 mains and 2 entrees and no taste or anything special when previously raved to others about food. The vegan options are truely amazing. Everything I have tried so far is a winner. The mango curry, satay sauce along with the rice paper rolls and special fried rice are delicious.

I always buy my morning coffee at this busy little cafe when staying at the Motel next door and it’s always fantastic. This time I decided to have breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed my granola bowl. It’s no wonder that this cafe is so popular.

After looking the reviews online I was really excited to visit this cafe. When we arrived the place looks nice, we ordered and I was really excited. Coffee was absolutely delicious, one of the best I had in a long time. However when we got the food my dish was cold and my husband’s was hot. It wasn’t the same to eat eggs Benedict icy cold. I didn’t let this get to me and decided to order a Nutella bomb. The girl asked me if I wanted warm. I went back to my table and waited around 15 minutes. The staff was happily talking loud as they didn’t have any costumers at the time. I thought was so weird that I had to wait that long for my dish, I asked one of the girls and they didn’t seem happy because I interrupted their talk. They told me that I should wait and it was coming. I was disappointed. I also noticed that all the tables had water and staff were really nice to them. It didn’t happen to us. Real shame as I am a travel blogger and I usually write reviews to help local business. I will need to go back to Shellharbour and find another place.

This has turned into our regular cycling stop. A great pot of tea, yummy bayside eggs and friendly staff.

The food will blow your mind! I had a special of potato rosti with egg, traded the salmon for bacon. It was delicious! The coffee is consistently great too! I struggled with people not being able to close the door, the wind howls in there and it can get quite cold. I'd happily go back because the service, food and coffee is really awesome regardless of the people who were born in a tent ;)

We had a Chicken Penang curry and Satay chicken with rice . The Penang curry could do with more vegetables in the dish for nutritional value in the diet. There was not a large amount of food we had more at offer restaurants. They have a new menu and I just tried the Satay chicken satay and Chew chicken and Rice and they were alright! We just had dinner here and I had Cashew nuts and vegetables with tofu and I asked for extra vegetables and for the onion to be extra cooked and I sent it back three times and asked for it be caramelized and the onions 🧅 to be soft but the cook 👩‍🍳 said this the best he could do! I said if we were not so late ⏰ as seven pm I would have sent it back again and said I do not want it for it tasted terrible and no cashews on the plate? Not very good! I told them I could cook better which I did last nights dinner 🥘 stir fry vegetables and a lovely sauce with it ! They did allow my wife to eat her burger 🍔 and chips with me as we could do before lockdown! So that was one good thing! I had to drink a whole bottle of water 💦 to try and drown the terrible taste 👅 it was to salty yuck 🤮 I was speaking to some one else and they said it has gone down hill lately so he does not go there and there are plenty of other restaurants Jasmine Rice in Wollongoong is much better than this place!

Takeaway container was half full. Complained and was told they cannot guarantee a full container of food and to go elsewhere if not happy. Don't come here if your hungry!!

Great Thai food for Australian standards. The noodles were a bit slimy/overcooked but apart from that it was all great. The young lady serving was very attentive and friendly.

Honestly the best Thai in the Illawarra, the Thai restaurants in Wollongong don’t compare , everything tastes watered down , bland or average, relying heavily on location , where Thai central is doing it right , I can’t fault 1 dish of there’s , I highly recommend everything , it’s all amazing. Downside being , I can’t have Thai in Wollongong , because non of the restaurants come close to Thai central .

My regular go to place for Thai. Their Thai Beef Salad is my favourite. So fresh, authentic and tasty. They have generous sized serving, our Chicken Pad Thai is always served with generous serving of chicken.

Placed a pickup order by phone when I was having issues online. The person I spoke with was polite and helpful and the pizza was ready in 20 min. We got a Pinocchio’s special and a gluten-free super supreme and both were delicious.

Came here for takeaway and given the high reviews was expecting a pretty good pizza. We were quite disappointed. While the pizza presence quite nicely the dough seemed old and missed the usual texture. Pizza tasted quite plain also. For $32 we expected more than we got. Appears popular though so perhaps we were just unlucky this time around.

I place my order over phone an the young bloke that answered was outstandingly nice an helpful, food ready before their estimated time - so very happy with that, the young lady that served me when i picked up my order was super friendly an served me as soon as i walked in the store ,my pizza was cooked perfectly an the wife's parmi snitzel cooked perfect aswell , I can't think off 1 negative , so thankyou very much staff at shelharbour store. Pinocchios used to be on my weekly rotation about 10 years ago. After 8 years in New Zealand, It's awesome to say that the pizza has stayed excellent and the value is just as good. Best pizza around in my opinion.

Couldn’t leave a review on the message we received as your lines were down on Friday night, even when we did call to order your ph recording said shut as was Easter weekend. Unfortunately couldn’t eat our meal chicken was burnt and very chewy , rice was all clumping with the prawns after an hr and half wait for delivery we ended up having chips and sauce for tea . Very disappointed

PRAISE Never had it before but was looking for a higher quality pizza in Shellharbour and they definitely delivered! I got there 10mins before opening and the man was more than happy for me to come in and order, even opened the door for me. He was the most happiest and nicest worker ever! He made me happy just chatting to him. Bonus then being a free upgrade to a family sized pizza and only paying for large because it's a Monday. So $26 for a family sized pizza, garlic bread and drink which is awesome for the size and quality! I got half/half pizza and its MASSIVE. Would easily feed 2 adults/2 kids. The pizza was delicious and the dough was a really nice tasting dough too! Also saw a sign that they buy/support local which is a bonus. Definitely will be back for when we want pizza! And thank you to the male worker on front counter with the glasses - he definitely made a great pizza even better due to his service!

I ordered sweet potato wedges for my daughter. As she loves them usually. She started eating them and said they taste yucky. I took a look at them and majority of them were green and slimy! I really hope my daughter doesn’t get food poisoning from this place as I will 100% be reporting it. Happened around 5pm on Saturday 17th August from the Shellharbour store!!!

We ordered on the DoorDash app. They had an offer of. Buy one burger get one free. Took up that offer for my kids on a Friday night. Waited for delivery. Which the time kept getting pushed back. The food turned up stone cold. & only one burger. Rang to let them know. Only to confronted by a person with a heavy accent. That only wanted to argue. & not listen. Not interested in customer service. I NEVER complain or leave these. BUT when you have an offer on line be prepared to honour it. DONT argue with the customer to the point they become. Angry. Do what you can to fix the situation. 4 phone calls latter. & Someone one finally sent out the missing food. Said I’d get a refund. Haven’t yet but will be expecting it. Honestly avoid this place.

Red rooster usually have the best chips all the time, but on this occasion, they were terrible, I actually just threw them in the bin. Service on the drive through was bad too, with the drive through attendant having the care factor of a wet mop. She couldn't even smile at all Had issues with the order and she just couldn't care less and would not help. We ordered meals that came with drinks but she didn't want to give the to us even though it was on the receipt. The Rippa Roll i ordered was nice though, everything else was crap. Although I didn't order crap service I refuse to go back there now

My Partner works until 6-30pm Thursday nights. So we agreed it would be easier to buy Red Rooster from our local store at Shellharbour. She got a Full Chicken meal and there was much salt on the Chicken and Chips that we couldn't eat it. Not happy at all. Feel so ripped off. Never going back there again. So disgusted.

Visited for lunch today, the food was fresh and tasty, the store was clean and tidy. Service was friendly, we ordered on the app to pick up in store only slight negative was our names weren't called out and our food went a bit cold sitting on the counter.

Food is not great and also not of good quality, fried chicken felt so hard and dry, chips were really soggy and chewy. However the customer service was good. Only thing I liked was their pineapple fritters.

We went on Taco Tuesday! The biria tacos and the pork belly tacos I would highly recommend! Great vibe!

Excellent service with friendly staff. The portions were huge and our eyes were definitely to big for our stomach we ended up taking quite a bit home for a late night snack. Food was delicious and will definitely be back

We had reserved a table for 7 with two toddlers and for family with kids, they have a separate dine in area which is not as ambient as the main room. The restaurant served is great food and perfect margaritas to go with. Would visit this place to eat some Mexican cuisine and certainly recommend to others.

We have been a regular Amigos Shellharbour customer for years and usually we can count on great and filling food, good value, good service, and effective management. However our first post-COVID lockdown visit on Tuesday night was by far the worst Amigos dining experience we have ever had. We got an early booking (5:45) to avoid potential crowds. We ordered our food (10 tacos – 7 Casa & 3 House, an Acapulco dip/chips, and 3 margaritas) by 6 pm. The margaritas and dip/chips came quickly but it took over an hour and twenty minutes to get our ‘mains’ (tacos). We got tired of waiting, finally gave up and got these tacos packed takeaway. It was not even crowded so it should have not taken an hour and a half to get tacos which are usually prepared and served in 10-15 minutes. Worse than the delay was the extremely poor quality of the tacos tonight. They had far less fillings than usual to a point of being sparse and unpleasant. Please refer to the attached post for an example of this poor taco quality we had tonight. There was one-third to one-half the usual taco fillings and none of the tacos even had the intended rojo/verde salsa. As can be seen from the picture, the premium chorizo ‘Casa’ taco was especially disappointing – only two small pieces of chorizo and little else! When we attempted to raise our concerns with Amigos staff there were no experienced managers on duty and the staff we spoke with seemed to care little about these issues. We had really been looking forward to our return to Amigo post-COVID lockdowns but our experience was disappointing on almost all fronts – bad food quality, poor services, and uncaring/ineffective management. We hope that the owner and senior management will get these issues addressed as Amigos Shellharbour was one of our favorite dining venues in the Illawarra.

Delicious tacos and wings. Friendly service and a nice location. The only negative is the margarita had lemon juice in it which personally I really don't like, I prefer just lime juice. Might be personal preference though.

Cool Tex-Mex themed restaurant with a fitting decor and atmosphere, decent food and nice cocktails. The food is not bad, but not incrddible, and a little bit pricey but overall a good dining experience.

Meh, it's OK, pretty ordinary version of Mexican quisine at very high prices for what it is. Not much change from $30 for a burrito served on a chipped enamel plate with a side of wilted salad greens and mystery slop. Menus were filthy dirty things, surely it can be neither hard nor e pensive to keep on top of that, and the cutlery was the cheapest, flimsiest $2 dollar store junk. Premium prices for ordinary service and experience. $12 for a 220ml piccolo of bubbles and $7 for a small bottle of soft dri k is over the top.

If you're on the hunt for a meal that delivers both taste and value, look no further than Kings Kebabs and Mexican at Stockland Shellharbour. It is very clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority, serving with extremely friendly and happy faces. The food is great value for what you’re paying and I would not recommend going anywhere else, considering the delicious tastes that come along with the bargain prices!

Always such a great meal whenever I come here for a snack pack on my days off!! Staff are so friendly (especially the owners and older male staff), so considerate of my dietary needs and always make a smile on my face!! Highly recommend here always!!!

The pide was good. The customer service from the older females is atrocious. The males are pretty nice though. Also, the “garlic sauce” tubs are just yoghurt and water. Avoid.

Cant judge on the food as I never got served. Blonde lady at the counter was too busy talking to someone over the counter for 10 minutes while the staff were not really doing anything but avoiding eye contact. Horrible service

Nothing good to say here. Dropped in to The Salty Squid down at Shell Cove Marina before heading to the footy and ordered 5 meals. My 3 grandsons enjoyed their burgers. Hubby enjoyed his 3 scallops, chiko roll and a seafood stick which were all placed on top of my battered piece of whiting. At first I said my fish & chips meal deal was missing, but after going through the boxes found the chips separate and then my squashed, dry, crispy piece of whiting sitting at the bottom. Presentation was terrible… I’m always one to complain if something isn’t how it was ordered, but this time I chose to not return the product as I thought just turn it over and enjoy the flesh. What flesh!! The piece of fish looked like a catch you would throw back in, as it was so small. Anyway I scraped what I could off the skin and it was so dry. We weren’t asked if we were dining in or take away. The best and only good thing would have been the lovely chips, but that’s it. There’s always a first and last time to visit and this is the last!

Really loved having great take away seafood the tacos were delicious! Old fashioned chips were a treat but the surf and turf burger was simply amazing 😋. Service was great by the lovely staff. Definitely returning!

Wonderful seafood restaurant on the marina in Shell Cove. We went for brunch and then went back another time for oysters and wine. The most delicious oysters I’ve ever eaten. The manager, Megan, was very attentive and knowledgeable telling us all about where the restaurant sources their produce. It’s also a dog-friendly venue. Would definitely go back!

Great menu with lots of variety, seafood is always super fresh and the chips are very good. Great spot for the kids and big groups, lots of seating options inside or on the grass. View of the marine is spectacular. Oh, and they do great coffee! White Horse double espresso goes down a treat.

Amazing food and great ambience. The menu was really interesting - must have their avo smash which is a creative twist on the standard. The staff were lovely and the coffee was seriously good. I'll absolutely be going again.

Fish and calamari rings were really good. Place should get more stars than 3.5. Good service and really good chips

Having to give 3 stars which sucks... There is no contact number to let them know when they stuff up your order, so unless you're going to go back in person you're kinda stuffed. Their kebabs taste fantastic but when you're paying for food and the order is correct on the sleeve it blows my mind that the actual food is incorrect. This is the second time it has happened to me with no way to let them know. Really sucks cause they're lovely people and the food tastes fantastic but kinda ridiculous it's happened twice now.

no idea the meat tasted needed salt. bland. having long shaved meat doesn't look good or present well. seemed dried. never known meat of that to get dried and bland. chips are good and garlic sauce is garlicky.

Pretty good place. Got so addicted to it came here 20 days straight trying different things. And I must say everything is just yum. The rest staff is super friendly and funny.

The food is consistently fresh, tasty, and made just right every single time. Whether it’s a juicy doner, perfectly grilled chicken, or their delicious wraps, they never disappoint. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast, even when they’re busy. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Sam’s is my regular spot for a reason – great food, great people, and a place that never lets you down. Highly recommended!

Absolute disgrace. Ordered 3 normal kebabs but gave me only 1 normal and two baby kebabs. Owner should put workers that make consistent good size kebabs for $14. Wouldn't recommend

Sam's Kebab is one of the best kebab shop in Albion Park area. Fully loaded, well-cooked and the taste was so delicious. Staff are so cooperative, and their food hygiene is top-level.

Hungry while driving back to Sydney? We found this Oporto outlet nice and tidy. Foods were fresh, specially the chips. Fast service. Didn’t have to wait for long though it was very busy.

The last couple of weeks we have had to go to Sydney stopping on our way home. Our first visit Tahlea's service was exceptional - happy, helpful, friendly service and one of the best Oporto experiences we have had. Unfortunately the second time we were served by another person that really didn't want to be there was very unhelpful BUT ended with Tahlea bringing out our food. Honestly she is an asset to your restaurant.

Only putting 1 star because there’s no option for 0 stars A while ago my partner and I decided to get dinner from Oporto Albion park rail. Big mistake. Firstly they forgot to put in the chips for my partners meal which I didn’t realise until I got home and my burger looked like a dogs breakfast so that was pretty embarrassing. I thought I’d give them another chance on Friday 15/08/2025, another big mistake made by me. The chicken on my burger was partially burnt and there was absolutely no flavour Never going to have Oporto again

Just had lunch here with hubby and the 3 young kids. Very clean store, friendly, outgoing and helpful workers. My daughter dropped her drink and the workers were quick to clean up and even offered a replacement free of charge. Plenty of high chairs available and even a change table for my littlest. Super impressed. We will be back

Staff were friendly, Food was perfect. Kids loved the draw on bags with crayons, and the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a fast food restaurant. Simply perfection.

The wait times at your restaurant are consistently long, and unfortunately, there’s often a lack of basic communication or acknowledgment from the staff. For example, today, two other drivers and I have been waiting for almost or over 30 minutes—this isn’t an isolated incident. What’s most disheartening is the absence of simple courtesies: no one checks in to ask which order we’re here for, gives updates on how long it might take, or even acknowledges that we’re standing there waiting. We’re working hard too, just like your team, and all we’re asking for is mutual respect and better communication. As delivery partners, we rely heavily on efficiency to maintain our earnings and ratings. Especially on busy days and holidays, when we don’t receive extra pay, the long and unacknowledged waits become even more frustrating. honestly the worst experience at a hungry jacks i have ever had, i waited at the counter for 10 minutes to be served, i was still ignored that whole time so i walked out while me apprentice waited for his food. then when we got his food theres was a dirty brown hair in our chips. this is absolutely disgraceful, you need to be wearing hair nets and you need to be alot better at your customer service because it was disgusting. not to mention people were waiting for drive through orders for 15 minutes while we were in and out. do better

Never again. Burgers were rushed and cold. Chip ok but half full. The drink cups had softdrink all over the outside of the cups. Waited over 30 minutes in store. The staff were all over the place. Staff were concentrating on the Uber orders ridiculous.

This Hungry Jacks is terrible, I’m usually not the type to ever make bad reviews as I understand it can be difficult working in Hospitality. But it’s gotten to the point where it’s happened more than 5 times now. It’s very consistent that if you order food from here, you will be waiting at least 20 minutes until you receive it. I even waited in their waiting bay and they forgot I was even there, after 20 minutes I had to park around the front and walk in to receive my meal. And as I can see from the other reviews of this place, I’m not alone in this experience. They really need to make a change if they want to have customers coming back to their store. You’re better off going to McDonald’s or KFC where you will actually receive ‘fast-food’ in an instant.

ordered a double cheeseburger with extra ketchup tell me why the burger came with only mustard on it. It was like they put extra mustard on it too. Also you can’t even call the store to Complain.

Unbelievable.. they close 11pm. It wasn’t even 9.30pm - I went to the front doors and they are locked. We wanted to order inside and take our kids to toilet to wash their hands. Staff ignored me knocking for ages, then refused to let us in and told us to use drive through. Sign on the door says 11pm - I pointed that out.. they didn’t care. So helpful for a bathroom break.

I ordered a triple cheeseburger. It was made with the sausage breakfast patties instead of the beef ones. Took 20 minutes waiting and my chips were cold.
