Really pretty little place with lots to see. We did the port after dark tour too which was really interesting. I really enjoyed our Echuca stay.

Wonderful place to visit to learn about the history of Echuca-Moama area. Also gives a good idea about how steam engines revolutionized the way people worked and their day to day activities.

The most worthwhile place to visit in Echuca. Oozing with history that will blow your mind and very well restored. Of course when you visit make sure you book one of the paddle steamers.

Staff are very welcoming, and Neil's enthusiasm and knowledge is great, as well as entertaining. Apart from the mind boggling array of beer related stuff, there are lots of other gems from years gone by. Make sure you also explore the displays outside, including the shipping containers out behind the car park. Number 1 rated attraction in Echuca for a reason.... well worth a visit.

A really worthwhile place to visit. The owner will greet you at the door and gives a great presentation. He is one character and a half and has the best Aussie personality and a great knowledge of the recent Australian past. You will learn things from him you never knew. Was glad we made the effort to visit.

What a delight! We popped into the Great Aussie Beer Museum while in Echuca and were absolutely charmed. The place is so much more than beer though as you’ll find walls of vintage beer cans, brewery relics, retro signs, old petrol pumps, restored automobiles, farm machinery, soda dispensers, and more.  A huge shout out to Neil an absolute legend, the owner whose passion and knowledge of Australian history, culture, and memorabilia really bring the collection to life. He took time to explain many of the items, cracked a few jokes, and made the experience personal and memorable.  The atmosphere is delightfully nostalgic and rustic it’s like stepping back in time. There’s a sense that every object has a story. The restored cars and machinery especially add a touch of old-school charm.  If you’re in Echuca, do not skip this museum. It’s a passion project that’s well worth your time and admission.

Neil was so friendly, greeted us in the car park and explained the best way to view everything. What a place. Everyone should visit at least once. Need a minimum of 1 hour. Would be great to hold a function there.

Alan and Bryan were great tour guides and gave us a lot of information. They were super knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many great Australian pieces and were blown away by how big the collection actually is. The stories behind some of the items were also very interesting. We visited on the 11/10/2025 and will definitely be back

5 Stars – A Truly Unforgettable Experience! We had the most amazing time at Billabong Ranch! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The horse riding was a definite highlight – the horses were well-trained and clearly well-cared for, making the experience enjoyable for both beginners and experienced riders alike. The facilities were top-notch, with plenty of fun activities for all ages. The animal nursery was a hit with the kids, and we all had a blast on the pedal boats and mini golf course. It’s clear that the team at Billabong Ranch puts a lot of effort into creating a safe, family-friendly environment. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or quality time with loved ones, Billabong Ranch has something for everyone. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We went for a 10am 1h trail ride, was so beautiful and relaxing. The horses we so well behaved and friendly. Had some amazing instructors with us as well, so friendly and made sure we had a good time. Wish we booked for longer tho 1h goes so quickly when your having fun. Would definitely come again for sure!! Thanks Zoe for chatting with us while we rode we all had such a fun time.

What a magical place! It was absolutely beautiful 💛 Our kids loved all of the activities; mini golf, rock climbing, feeding the animals, kayaks, pedal boats and soo much more!! We did a 1 hr horse trail ride here on the Easter Sunday and we really liked it. It's bit expensive for what it is, however the girls were very nice and made sure my 7 year old son had a good time. I would recommend this if you are visiting Echuca.

I’m feeling so nostalgic stumbling across this ranch again! My Nan used to bring me here every time we visited Echuca, and I was absolutely obsessed with horses as a kid. I still remember riding Sparks and Sookie like it was yesterday, those horses were everything to me growing up. While I was off riding, my little brother would spend ages playing mini golf, so there was always something for both of us to enjoy. It’s so lovely to see the ranch still going strong and continuing to bring joy to other families. Thank you for being such a core part of my childhood, I’ll always hold those memories close 💛🐴 (Sharing a couple of photos with Sparks and Sookie, taken just over 10 years ago for a bit of nostalgia!)

My girls and I spent a lovely day here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great variety of things to do for the kids and family. Food was a good price and really delicious. A huge shout out to the very helpful young man Xavier who came to the rescue and changed my tyre as I had a flat. Thank you 😊 your slushy was well deserved!

Free ? Yes free entry well worth a visit for the kids you will see many animals such a camels 🐪 , buffalo 🐃, goats etc. Rides are available for a small fee. There is a large lake for paddle boats.

My 3 and 5 year old kids had a great time at Twisted Echuca. There were one or two activities out of order but enough to keep them entertained for a full two hours. My 3 year old loved the replay video and my 5 year old enjoyed working out cogs and ramps

Visited Twisted Science yesterday with my just 2 year old daughter. We had an amazing afternoon. I wasn’t sure if she was going to be a bit young, but was pleasantly surprised there was loads of things for her to do. Kept her busy for the entire session and she didn’t want to leave at the end. Had to bribe her to leave with something from the shop, which was also reasonably priced and lots of little cheap items to choose from to bribe children out the door 😂 The staff were so friendly and even got the lizard out for my daughter to pat. The facility was clean and well maintained. There were loads of different activities and things for her to do. Overall, a really really great experience

TwistED Science Echuca was fantastic! So many hands-on activities, friendly staff and plenty to keep kids entertained for hours. A great indoor option for families — highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time. Ages ranged from 8 to 80 and we all enjoyed it. I could go back again tomorrow and do things we didn't have time to do. Kids had a ball. Money very well spent.

So much fun for the adults and kids! Numerous activities for everyone to do, play and learn from. It makes the hour and half booking time go by quickly. Make sure you "stick" around til the end as you might pet some friendly creatures.

Very interesting collection of Echuca History. My partner and i who are in our mid 20’s dont typically visit museums like this, however we really enjoyed it. Staff were very welcoming and lovely.

Absolutely amazing place! The history here is just amazing. A small fee to enter, which is nothing compared to the amazing place this is. It's a wealth of knowledge. The staff are so friendly and a wealth of knowledge. Eric was such a lovely bloke, I spoke with him for over an hour about the history of Echuca. Definitely worth a visit if you want to learn all about the history of Echuca. There is more information here than the Port of Echuca museum. Amazing experience. You can also purchase books too on the history of Echuca. Thankyou for such a lovely, memorable experience.

Located just opposite Hopwood garden playground in the heart of Echuca, this historical museum is a great place to visit for some insight in to the bygone era history of Echuca.

As lovers of cars and all things old and nostalgic, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was a little muggy inside (hot day outside) but it was only a minor inconvenience. Great collection of Holdens and Holden memorabilia. Dog friendly too.

Loved our visit to the National Holden Motor Museum. As a mechanic it was great to see all the different models of Holdens from the past decades. There are also some prototype models as well as models used in the product development process. Super interesting place to visit even if you're not a car fanatic. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area or just passing through. There's also a great giftshop which has something for any car nut. Not just Holden fans.

If you’re a car fan or even interested in history the Holden Museum is a must when you’re in Echuca! There’s so much to see and you can get really close to some great and rare examples of Australian motor engineering. Ticket prices are very reasonable and you won’t be disappointed!

A great museum with a range of classic and modern Holden’s that are swapped out every couple of months. With an affordable $10 entry to the museum itself, it grants access for either a 10 minute walk-in-walk-out or more than hour of in-depth reading into the history and information of Holden. The staff are super friendly and approachable and appreciate a good conversation. Overall the National Holden Motor Museum is a must visit for car enthusiasts keen on looking into the discontinued Holden name or rather, just to kill a bit of time while visiting Echuca.

Really great place to visit even if you're not a Holden fanatic (like me). The 50 cars on display are in prime condition and laid out very well. Lots of memorabilia on display as well. The 2 guys that were on duty were friendly and didn't mind a chat. A very informative visit. 👍

Great place for adults to visit to remember their youth & appreciate the vast range of cars that were produced under the Holden banner. The entrance fee was reasonable & the owners were very good about allowing visitors to wander around at their own pace, to get close to the cars & willing to provide information when asked. Well worth a visit, even if you're not particularly interested in cars 'per se'. The evolution of design, the beauty of the vehicles & the historical aspects of the display are inestimable.

Wasn't bad, I'm not a big Holden fan, some others would love it more. That said it was interesting to see the history of Holden from before my time all in one spot. Entry price was fair and plenty of parking available.

Spent some time in town while camping nearby at Wills Bend. Great history! Museum was good, we went on one of the paddle steamers for an hour tour!

I visited the Echuca Wharf to ride on the Pevensey Paddlesteamer and to check out the Museum. Weather was beautiful. The Pevensey trip was very well organised and good value at $29 for one hour, and the Museum was fun for children and adults and is now free admission.

Lovely walk, nice little souvenir and art shops along the way, nice cafes and eateries. Sat in the morning and took in the calm view, the steam paddle boats getting greasy to head out for the day.

“Your Travelling Silversmith” We loved our stay in Echuca. Absolutely enjoyed The Wharf area. It certainly is a living monument to the 1870's and the boom of the riverboat trade. Off to enjoy a ride on the - P. S . Pevensey Echuca’s most authentic working paddle steamer.

We really enjoyed our time there and found the historic exhibits informative and interesting.

We went to this winery and restaurant due to euchuca steam paddle combined trip. As expected it will be limited choice and also it is festive season. The entree is lamb conquette and main dish that that select is chicken. Overall it it tasty however too many fried item coated outside. I would prefer the main dish is not fried. However it is a good experience as good view from winery and bird to view.

We have been to Morrisons a couple of times over the past 10 years but something about our latest visit hit definitely. We went in just for a tasting knowing we have tasted the wines before and liked. After the tasting with one of the nicest blokes you will ever meet Shannon we ended up booking for lunch the next day purely on his hospitality. When we arrived the next day once again met with great hospitality we chose the tasting menu. The food was absolutely fantastic with local produce. With our last dish wild venison Shannon come over to our table and gave us glass of Red each on the house to pair with it. It was a perfect way to spend a rainy Sunday on the Murray river. Feeding and patting the kookaburras is a bonus for the kids. 5 stars!

Had lunch here after delightful and informative cruise on PS Canberra. Food was very tasty and well presented but over priced for petite portions. Barren winery in atmosphere, interests and facilities. Service was civil but mediocre…. Paper napkins were a massive disappointment.

Very poor service. Great place to have a top class restaurant, unfortunately this restaurant is only a 1 star, only because I can't give it a 0. A dining companion is gluten and dairy free. She was fed contaminated food and fell violently ill. The management did not seem to care. The service was poor and while some of the dishes were good others well below an acceptable standard.

We arrived a little earlier than our booking time but were told we couldn’t do a wine tasting as they had a paddle steamer group coming in. After going for a walk, we came back and were able to do our tasting before lunch, though the knowledge shared about the wines was quite limited. When booking, we had advised of all allergies and intolerances. Unfortunately, one entrée was served containing dairy and had to be remade, which took around 20 minutes. Later, after the mains were served, one of our guests—who is strictly dairy free—had a bad reaction to their meal. When raised, the response we received was simply that the dish was dairy free, with little acknowledgment or apology. Within our group of 10, some meals were good while others were only average. Overall, the service fell short of expectations, especially compared to previous winery experiences.

Really worth a visit. Great selection of Chocolates and Gift Hampers and Chocolate Liqueurs. The hampers come in a variety of sizes and are well presented making them perfects as gifts. The products aren't cheap but they are quality items and worth a little more. Staff are friendly and the store is well presented.

Not all of their own made chocolate. Layout was nice, but no tasting of the products. If I’m going to spend 20 or 30 dollars on chocolate I want to know what it tastes like before hand.

Lovely friendly staff with very helpful service. Amazing local produce,gift packs & hampers ..& chocolates of all shapes and sizes and flavors..but... the dark & white bottles of chocolate liquor are the BEST! !!

Visited on weekend no engagement from the girl behind the desk , think it was because it was 30 mins before closing didn't feel very welcoming at all , and I've had better chocolate, quite average.

Really good chocolate and was really good to see the really large 275g blocks. I used the dark chocolate block to make hot chocolate with a milk frothed at the accomodation we were staying at. Lots of different flavours and combinations of different nuts.

What a treasure trove of delicious goodies in here! Bought gifts for all the kids and a good stash for us to take home. Ya gotta visit.

Not welcoming . A welcome would increase yours sales and entice you to spend . The prices are very expensive. No chocolate tasting . Half the chocolate are not even there product.

Amazing cozy place, second time visiting. Was here in January and had to come back. Had the steak last time and the bbq ribs this time. Topped it off with the sticky date pudding. Don’t disappoints quality excellent serve excellent. Lovely warm fire place to sit and relax if the weather is cold, great for family get together big venue. Love the chandelier inside and the grape wine out the front as well!

I had an outstanding experience at The Mill. The service was warm and efficient, with our waitress providing excellent recommendations. The food was magnificent, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The cocktails were also delicious and elegantly served. Overall, The Mill exceeded my expectations with its fantastic service and wonderful cuisine. Highly recommended!

What a surprise to Find a amazing restaurant in refurbished old flour mill , chandeliers highlight a beautiful ambience, cruisy music provides the atmosphere , tim and staff very professional and pleasant, the menu is unique in that you can choose small or large serves of the dishes,the wine, pasta, mussels and especially the Brussel sprouts (you have to taste them) were excellent, and affogato for dessert, cannot recommend highly enough

The staff was helpful, the atmosphere was great. Loved the ambience of the place. Ordered 2 drinks, small plate and 2 big plate. The drinks and the small plate was good, it came quick too. It was not busy, but we have waited our main food for 45-60 mins. As its written big plate, on the menu we expected the pie will be big ( considering it was not cheap too) but infact it was just normal size pie, and inside was dry. My husband was starving, but he ended up ate just half of it.

I love it when a building like this is restored for all to enjoy even though the restaurant only exists on the first 2 floors. What I don’t like is when the entrees come out 30 minutes apart. And when the waitress finally comes near you to ask if everything is ok, I asked about the status of my entree. She disappears to find out but doesn’t have the courtesy to inform me. Instead she completely ignores our table. That is so infuriating. I would prefer to know the chef forgot to prepare the entree than be totally ignored. And I would much prefer the entrees are held until everyone’s entrees are ready.

Such a lovely place yo have a meal. Food was delicious and great small plates for sharing. Great variety of beer, wine and cocktails aswell. Staff are amazing and great at their jobs. Made my kids feel so welcome. Great to see the staff interacting with my kids. It honestly made our night. Will be back many more times

Huge range of lollies and chocolates 😍. The cordial display are so inviting. Would love to try the fairy floss cordial next time. If you want to find an adult lollies (lovebirds 😜) you need to visit this shop. Great selection for gift 🎁 items as well, including tin cans, airplane ✈️ boeing display and boat collections (for collectors), hilarious but witty tin frame 🖼 posters, and many more. Staffs are friendly and courteous, I was greeted the moment I stepped in to the shop. Most of all, felt comfortable shopping and walking around in the shop, as they are following health and safety protocols. Super thumbs up 👍🏻

Great information centre with very helpful staff. From High St walk through the Penny Arcade (sample some of their wondeful homemade fudge & ice Cream on the way). Walk through the shop and turn right to get to the Information Center.

Usually this is a great place to visit but this time found it closed I think due to renovations, there was a sign saying to look 600 meters along the road but there was a lot of traffic due to markets being on so had to watch the road and didn't see any signs about where to go. So missed out this time hopefully it will be up and running again by Christmas.

Was at the Echuca outlet on Friday. Mary- Anne looked after us brilliantly! Friendly, good natured, patient and accomodating. Walked away with a couple of boxes of delicious St Anne varieties. What a difference our experience has been in Echuca!! Recent trips to Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula made me think the world has changed. $15 tasting fees, non-refundable on purchase, the $15 gets you a taste of 3 wines only, cellar door prices upwards of $40 for the basic varieties and an attitude of get on with it if you're not gonna buy anything... St Anne's is nothing like this. I cannot say it strongly enough. Forget all that and head to Echuca for an old school experience. One of the better winery outlets in Victoria. It’s all a scam they suck you in with great friendly personalities and really helpful advice, then they get you to try their full range whist giving you a full run down and then you but lots of stuff. Ok not really a scam but it’s really a great place that’s worth visiting. The lovely girl talked to me about the barrels for 15 minutes even knowing I wasn’t buying till I get back from overseas in 3 months. I enjoyed the time here and I am looking forward to coming back. We bought up big this trip and their wines/ports are very good and that says a lot from me since I grew up in the Barossa Valley

I’ve had my Port Barrel approx 3 years, and love it. The tap started to fail, one call to St Anne’s and a new tap was delivered free of charge. Awesome service.

Really nice winery, and they allow dogs in! Great stop-off to do some wine tasting (or whiskey / bourbon / ports!), when visiting Echuca and the Wharf area. Staff were very friendly and explained a lot about the wines or spirits that we were trying. The shop is great too with plenty of nice additions to the house or cellars. Great for gifts or to add to the liquor collection!

Absolutely awesome place. Maddy was absolutely amazing knowing everything and all products. Great service totally amazing display. Highly recommend. Is a must. We stop here everytime we are passing by so we can restock or port supplies for home.

Always call well ahead to confirm hours! Website not updated! Was really looking forward to visiting, organised a trip to be in town on a day they were listed as open after checking the website and Facebook. They were closed, sadly, which was really disappointing given we'd planned our travel around this and missed other towns to get here. Would love to say the beer was excellent, but simply unavailable. EDIT: The brewery did get back to me and let me know their liqour licence was restricted over Easter, which is out of their control. Just wish I'd called ahead to confirm instead of relying on the website.

Fantastic 3 nights aboard the Emmylou sailing from Echuca downstream to Torrumbarry Weir. We were blessed with glorious spring weather for all 4 days of our journey. There are only 8 cabins aboard, so a maximum of 16 guests (we had 15 on our trip). Secure undercover parking for our car was provided at Moama and we were bussed the 10 minute drive to the Echuca Port to board. We were welcomed by Captain Tim and Christine the guest services manager. We were introduced to the other two crew members, Engineer Mark and Chef Sean. The cabins aboard are air conditioned and necessarily very small (as wide as a double bed and about 2 metres longer, including the ensuite). Cosy and comfortable. Sean was a fantastic cook. The meals aboard were exceptional: varied; generous; and very high quality. Freshly baked treats for morning and afternoon teas, 3 course dinners and scrumptious continental and cooked breakfasts. Cruising down the mighty Murray River was very relaxing and inspiring with the occasional commentary from the Captain. Every day gave a new experience: BBQ dinner under the stars with local singer; visit to the Great Australian Beer Shed; Wine tasting and nibbles at St Annes Winery; walk around Perricoota Station. A fabulous trip and worth every cent, highly recommended

We went on the PV Canberra. This was an hour long trip on the Murray River on a 108 year old steam engined paddle boat. The lady skipper was certainly an awesome Master Captain, handling the boat with precision and flair. There was a great comentary along the way. Drinks, snacks and souvenirs were available for purchase. This is a real bucket list item to do!

A friend booked it for 5 nights and 6 days over Easter 2025 and it was one of the best experiences my family had for a long time. The costumer service was very friendly, they explained everything to us, the boat itself was well equipped and good quality. Although we had some issues with the water pump, the journey on the Murray and the enjoyment was priceless. We even caught a Murray Cod and some Carps. We will do it again soon.

Wharf to winery, on the Canberra steam boat , while the winery pack was good value the wine was delicious but the food was average, maybe just my selection but also couldn’t find a cellar door to purchase from either which was a bit disappointing. The cruise however was brilliant and relaxing, we had our 3 month old on board and every one was very helpful with the pram and when to cover his ears etc.

Our child loved it. Fun place for families and kids.

Good for a pitstop with toilets, and if you like a cool down in the river or just a stroll along the bank, bbq and chair's and tables available.

Great picnic area with a green grassed bank. Don't go in the river if you can't swim. Don't swim across the river unless you're a proficient swimmer. Don't wear your clothes in the river if you're a prude. Don't gut your fish where people are swimming. Seriously, there are some stupid and inconsiderate people who should just stay away from the river.

I’ve not gotten into any waterbody since I was 15; I’m 25 now and I thought of just going in till my knees, but the place was so beautiful, it was a hot day and the water temperature was cool so I just couldn’t resist going deeper and I loved it! Such a great place! There’s a lot of greenery so it’s very relaxing but watch out for snakes.

How lovely, this is a perfect spot to do a touch of fishing, while relaxing with family. Guessing it would be very crowded during the warm months

Moama Beach newly re-developed area for locals and visitors. Big carpark. Large grassed are with electric BBQs and seating for picnics etc. Ramp down to sand. Popular swimming spot in summer months. View of the Echuca-Moama bridge and can watch the paddlesteamers passing by. Dirt road access but easy to get to. Kids playground, skate park and Moama main street short drive.

Great place to cool off on a warm day or just sit on the lawn or picnic tables and enjoy the river lifestyle. Free bbqs available under shelter. Much better than the echuca Council provides.

What an awesome find. It is makers-only market; meaning all products are grown or made by the stallholders, and can I say, it is one of the more impressive Victorian markets - small but mighty. Really good quality produce, from artisan breads, pork products, gluten free pasta, pickles, sauces, chutneys, jewellery, painting and artwork, woodwork, dog biscuits, flowers, fruit and vegies, eggs, gin ... I'm sure I have forgotten something.

a great little market. i got some breakfast from tammie in the food van, bacon egg cheese relish in a roll and a couple of jam donuts mmmmm so good!! got some jam, eucalyptus oil, eggs and yo-yos! drop in and have a walk around and support some great local farmers/businesses. great prices. dog friendly.

Lovely Vineyard right on the river! Great location and food and drink was good, however everything but the wine glasses were single use material (plastic cups for drinks, pizza was served in pizza boxes, dips from the platter in cardboard containers) which made it feel like a bit of a backyard affair, and the prices were definitely winery prices… bit of an odd choice and really not environmentally conscious for such a beautiful location…

Beautiful spot on the Murray, but I felt it was a bit of a let down. The wine was good, but the pizzas and nibble platters were extremely average and way overpriced. Wondering if they had just gotten pre-prepared pizzas and dips out of the packet because it was a busy long weekend and didn't have time to prep, or whether it's normally like that. Live music was sensational though and the setting can't be beat. My recommendation: stop here for some wine and to enjoy the surroundings and eat somewhere with better food!

The setting is beautiful and probably wonderful for functions. I was a disappointed by the wine tasting, there wasn't a lot of information provided on the wines. But I do appreciate the glass as a keepsake.

Lovely little spot by the river. Pizzas were delish. Toilets were clean. Staff were great. Only complaint was the lack of serviettes! Oh and the disposable cutlery and serving pots on the share platter seemed a little odd for such a place? But we would go again 👍

Cape Horn vineyard was an amazing experience. The location and atmosphere are great. Staff are extremely nice and most of all the wine was fantastic. We came as a group of 6 adults and 4 children. The kids had lots to do and enjoyed being in nature close to the river. Very glad to have visited and we will visit again.

Great location. We got great seats on the the river even though we didn't book. We arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday so super busy but the live music and location made it feel we didn't wait too long for our meals. Pizzas were great as were the dips. A very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon

Took their golf and stay package, with unlimited golf for $99 per person per night on a twin share basis. Exceptional value. The rooms are a little tired but perfectly clean, and the beds are very comfortable. We had 2 meals while on site - dinner and breakfast and both were excellent and affordable. The golf course was in good condition and we got to play both course which were relatively quiet. The staff in the pro shop were welcoming and helpful.

We spent the day in the sports bar area with a group of 6 that turned into 10-12 people. I have never come across the most rudest bar staff in a club environment. 2 older staff members were horrendous all day. When it came to putting bets on they were unhelpful and bluntly rude. Everything was an effort for them. I was getting other staff to put bets on without a ticket but when it came to the 2 older women I was told you have to fill out a ticket. I put mystery bets on in races in advance but if the 2 older women served me I was told no you get next race. These women need to go out to the Moama RSL and Moama Bowling club to learn how to be nice to your patrons. Once the younger staff came in later in the day they were amazing. To the rude, obnoxious older dark headed women clearly you don’t want to be there so DONT. Food was absolutely beautiful and staff in the restaurant were lovely but I am in no hurry to return to that club due solely to the rudeness of those 2 women.

I did a stay and play package with friends. The accommodation was comfortable. Both golf courses were in great condition with challenging layouts of bunkers and water. The cart hire I thought was overpriced, with the amount we paid in the package it could have been discounted or even included. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast vouchers were given to us but unfortunately the food was underwhelming, and delivered cold. The coffee however was hot. Some of the older staff members were very rude and made our stay unpleasant. They could take a few lessons in respect and customer service from the young ones working there. After we spoke to the duty manager Aaron,who was extremely helpful and sinsere, the food and service did improve. I would rate the golf courses a 4-star.

Rich River Golf Course. This 36 hole golf / course resort . I found that overall the course is maintained to a very high standard. The greens are a reasonable size and challenging depending on where the holes are placed. The east course is still a challenging layout , and will test the good golfer. My favourite course personally is the old course, with large established red gums. The staff in the proshop are very nice, welcoming and friendly. The shop is also very well stocked with everything you need to go golfing. I highly recommend that if you are around Echuca or Moama, book in a round of golf there. ⛳️

After such great experiences just had the worst one. Tried to book a bus pick up with Narelle but was told they don’t pick up from where we are even though we’ve been picked up before 4 other times 6 min away. . Said they can pick us up maybe at 9pm then she hung up on me. Disappointed to say the least especially after we had just told our friends how wonderful it was there. 😢

Two great course. The west course was looking a bit tired in places. Fantastic greens. Definitely worth a trip. Food and service on the club left a fair bit to be desired.

Played the West course. Greens and fairways were nice. Bunkers were hard packed but most golf courses have issues there. Ours are always wet. Had a great day. Will return.

After a pretty bad week of bad places in echuca during the Elmore field days this place on the last night made it all a distant memory. Whiskey was phenomenal and food ( beef brisket nachos) was sublime. If they were open the other days of the Elmore field days I would be here every night next year. A must!

I love visiting micro breweries and distilleries and this one was fun to visit. Arrived after the dinner rush so there were free tables, the friendly staff seated us quickly and gave us a the menu and jug of water. I had questions over the grade definition of their Agave and age of the Single Malt plus process etc etc. the staff were full of information and answered all my questions quite interactively with great info. We weren’t driving and staying close by so we tried a lot of cocktails and neat pours. Was a great idea to visit, enjoyed the drinks and ambiance of the place. The bar was sooo neat 🤣 But well worth the visit.

Couldn’t fault one single thing. Service 5 star, drinks 5 star food 10 star if I could. Will be back for sure everything was next level

5⭐️ for the staff! Very friendly and excellent service! I tried the Yuzu and Ginger gin and also their Cucumber twist and they were both really good. My favourite was the Ginger one though! The food was delicious, we ordered the beef steak burgers, the quantity was good and was priced well. The distillery is within the restaurant and it has glass walls so you can practically see them working on it which is pretty cool!

Amazing, well worth making a visit. Great food and service. Make sure you try plenty of the spirits distilled on site, all I tried were fantastic

On the banks of the Murray strawberries are in season for seven months of the year, through to late-May. This PYO farm on the Echuca bank was planted as recently as 2015 and grows four varieties – Monterey, Albion, San Andreas and Cabrillo. You’ll pay for the punnet on arrival, and will be shown where the ripest berries can be found and the simplest way to pick them. After a fruitful harvest you can take a seat at a picnic table in the shade and try something from the farm’s menu of strawberry treats, like scones with homemade jam, sorbets, ice cream and milkshakes.

Fabulous place for the family to pick the sweetest strawberries in Oz. We will be back again!

As soon as you walk onto the farm, the aroma of delicious, sweet strawberries welcomes you. We came here last week and enjoyed our time picking strawberries and enjoying them afterwards in the lovely picnic area. We left a pair of sunglasses that afternoon and sent a message to Strawberry Pick asking if it were possible to post them back to us in Melbourne. Owner, Matt was very friendly and responsive to all our messages and we received our sunglasses. Strawberry Pick is not only a superb place for picking delicious strawberries, but the owners are also extremely helpful and kind people. Please visit Strawberry Pick! :)

Great array of yummy strawberries to pick. However, don't wear your $250 Ultraboosts because you will end up with 5cm of clay caked to the soles - make sure to wear gumboots and bring a change of shoes.

Never had such and so MANY brilliant and sweet tasting strawberries in my life. They are juicy, sweet and red. Then had some more with the chocolate sauce and had some more in the ice-cream.

So much fun with the kids! Spent an easy 3 hours there. Strawberry ice cream is great too! Please feel free to use my pics x

Beware, scammers are there. I bought few unopened packs of Pokémon cards for my kids from 2 different shops but once open only realised that all the cards are fake. I have bought Pokémon cards from farmer's markets before and all were real. This is the first time this has happened. If you are after Pokémon cards beware of SCAMMERS out there.

Fantastic experience. Drive to the new bridge being built (at time of writing) on Scenic Drive and meet the host. Put on your life jacket then it’s a 10 minute drive in their 4x4 van to the drop off point. There you’re instructed on how to use your board and then you’re off down the Murray. Controlling the board is relatively easy and anyone from 6 to 60 could do it. You need to be a little bit fit as it takes about 60 minutes. Kids can easily kneel or sit on the board and paddle. Of course adults could as well. Then enjoy the trip down the river and keep an eye and ear out for the wildlife (on the banks, not in the river ;) If it’s a 30+ day recommend the 8am trip; the river is quieter and the weather cooler. Don’t worry if you fall in. The river isn’t that cold. The hard part is getting back on the board! Also watch out for the wake of any passing motor boats. TIP: You can hire a waterproof phone case so you can take photos of your family along the way. Fits most phones including iPhone Max.

Had great coaching on how to use the boards and everything we needed was provided. Also very nice to get shuttled up river so you can relax on the way back down. Great experience for us and the kids and very affordable for what you get. Highly recommend doing this while on holidays.

We messaged them the night before as our plans changed last minute. Super fast response and we were able to go at 10am the next day. We were worried everything would be booked out. Highly recommend as this was such a good experience. The River was so beautiful and paddling was relaxing and exciting at the same time. Jess was lovely, up beat and professional and was super good with me (first timer). Didn't have to worry about any car shuffle or leaving clothes etc super smooth and well organised. 👌👌👌

This was a very fun experience! Our instructor was incredibly friendly and the location is superb. The booking was simple with good directions to find the meeting point and all the equipment was up to standard. One thing that shouldn't be overlooked is that people should be in somewhat good physical condition, otherwise this activity could be a bit challenging. Also, the safety could perhaps be improved by having staff monitoring the participants while they are in the water as there are some hazards like boats and logs and branches at the sides of the river. Overall an enjoyable activity with certain degree of risk.

We decided to try a paddle down the river for something different for our second Echuca trip. Jess was super friendly and accommodating that we ended up going out twice, the second time with our children. The service was fab, pick up and transport upriver to make the paddle nice and cruisy plus extra flexible when we had our children to make it a fab experience for us all. Great quality boards and jackets. Look forward to returning so we can do it again . Highly recommend this experience even for novices!

The gardens were not very large at all but with what was there you could see it has been well planned and thought out. When they eventually finish it in many years to come I’m sure it will be as nice as the many other botanical gardens around Australia.

Hi I'm a local and it was my first visit to the Moama Botanical gardens. I spent just over an hour and got plenty of pictures. The boardwalk area where bridge is located needs some maintenance from signages for safety around wetlands and visitors falling over edge on deck area. I would also love to see some native sculptures and plaques identifying the plants and trees located in the gardens. A map of the gardens would be a great idea so visitors know where to go when on their walk. Dropped in on a whim around 8:30am, heading home from our golf weekend in Moama—and what a great call that turned out to be. We were seated immediately and felt welcomed from the get-go. I went for the Eggs Benny with salmon ($20) and a latte ($5), while my mate opted for the chili scrambled eggs, and the other had a classic ham and cheese toasty. Everything came out quickly, but with no sense of being rushed. The place filled up fast afterward, which says a lot about how popular it is—and rightly so. Special shoutout to the young woman who served us—possibly English-accented—who was genuinely friendly and engaging. Top marks for both service and food. Definitely happy to recommend.

Great little busy place by the side of the road. Have eaten here twice, they have a lovely courtyard and inside and outside dining areas. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Has a little sand pit for kids to play around in. Had the chili scrambled, was ok. Not amazing but did the job. Coffee was good. Lovely atmosphere. Would come back again.

We loved our sit down breakfast! The menu has a large selection of classic brekkie dishes and some creative ones. They take dietary requirements seriously and offer celiac options aswell as GF,DF and vegan options. The build your brekkie option is great and allows for a fun customisation of your breakfast. Came for coffee and breaky grand final weekend and had the baked eggs which were the best meal we ate all weekend! Good coffee, cute courtyard. Highly recommend

an excellent cafe in Echuca. in the busy Riverboats festival peak period, they were able to seat us very quickly, take our coffee order and have our food reasonably quick and be attentive. spacious setting, clean premises, friendly service. reasonable borderline excellent prices considering cost of living pressures. highly recommended

Worst schnitzel ever! Dry, very thin of chicken, covered is salty oily crumbs... Burgers were ok, but not good. Lady at the counter told us that waiting time was about 30-40 minutes, but we ended up waiting for 55 minutes! And the wait was not worth it at all.. such a shame! The location is perfect! Just change the chef and probably for the higher events - have more people at the kitchen.

Beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sunshine and surrounds. Meal was pleasant, a bit costly for a burger and chips. Was looking forward to their relish, but sadly they forgot to put it on our burgers, so they were a little dry.

Had a magnificent lunch here and will definitely return when we're in the area again. Great staff, quick to serve us our drinks & food & very accommodating for our dogs too. We ordered the Yoder Smoked Platter & the Garlic Bread with cheese. The brisket just fell apart and melted in your mouth, as did the pulled pork & buffalo wings. It was a HUGE platter and so glad we just got one to share as we struggled to get through it all! It was reasonably priced too at $44. Highly recommend this dish and the pub.

Very disappointed with the meal here especially as there are plenty of other places to eat. Coleslaw was old and limp, very little taste. It wasn’t edible. Hot smoked salmon was tasteless. We gave our feedback to the staff and they really didn’t care. It was a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. Now I know why. It’s a real shame because the hotel looks beautiful and has so much potential.

A disappointing meal. “Fresh” fish and chips was inedible frozen hoki. Burgers were supposed to have bacon but that was left off (we ordered three). Nice location but don’t recommend the food.

What a beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, lovely staff, incredible entertainment and some of the best food that I’ve eaten in Australia! It was a fantastic experience and will definitely be back again. My only regret is that I didn’t ask for more sauce because it was DELICIOUS! We ordered the bbq platter for 2 and it was perfect. More than enough food for the two of us and each bite was better than the last! If you’re looking for the perfect evening out in Echuca, this is the spot for you!

Terrible experience today for us. We are 7 in a group , had to wait one hour for our food, and to top it all up they forgot the other 2 meals. The staff wearing a white top was very rude. We ended up asking to put in a take away container as we about to board the paddle steamer. I will not recommend this place. VS

A fantastic selection of wines and a lovely atmosphere make this place a real gem. We particularly enjoyed a bottle of Sparkling Brut, which had a unique, less-dry profile compared to other Bruts, with a delightful fruity finish. Highly recommend for wine lovers!

Such lovely ladies working here! Friendly to our puppies, great tasting, great platter. The wines are nice, more on the dry side which we prefer.

Free wine tasting, St Anne’s is the best and the most generous winery in the area. Hana was amazing at walking us through the wine tasting. polite, knowledgeable, hospitable with a big smile, thank you. 💯

It's a beautiful spot with a beautiful view and a relaxed atmosphere. The wine-tasting experience was fantastic, with a great variety of quality wines to enjoy. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable.

Great playground and hand to the river fo a wander afterwards. It’s clean and well maintained with facilities nearby.

Great kids playground based on paddlesteamer theme. Plenty of seating and green space, big shelter and water fountain. This park is right next to the main street and direvtly opposite the entrance to the port area which has public toilets. Also lots of cafes and shops around.

This is comparatively a smaller park, situated almost in the heart of Echuca which has good facilities and a playground for children. Good eateries & a pub are closeby too.

It's a lovely park with seating and tables nearby for a nice picnic lunch and BBQ across the road. Beautiful views of the mighty Murray River and paddlesteamers. There are toilets about 50 metres away and yummy icecreams at the Penny arcade or Ice Creamery, both a short walk on High Street. The play ground equipment can get very hot on hot days so best to go early morning or evening on those days.

This is a beautiful restaurant offering amazing food and cocktails it is for over 18 which makes it perfect for us to enjoy our Sunday lunch the owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly it is certainly our go to favourite restaurant

To say I was blown away with the food, staff and atmosphere with the junction is an absolute understatement. After being recommended by a family member of the quality of the food. I had to see this as an experience and check to see what the vibe was like. Immediately upon entering the Junction. The staff were more than accommodating, with Thomas commencing the service and Alexi, Dani and Noah continuing the amazing experience that simply shows the reason why the junction has one of the best reputations in the area! The beverages and food complimented this amazing experience. With this having to be some of the best quality meats, cheeses and pastas I’ve encountered despite trying an abundance on the busy lygon street. The gnocchi and tortellini and the famous burrata have definitely led me to want to attend for seconds and thirds! Being from Melbourne here but having family in the area, I will be recommending this to anyone who wants to try different things and be supported with the most immersive and positive dining experience. The Chefs tasting menu is delicious, a generous amount of food for the price. We had excellent service and great cocktails. Only issue - the plates come out too quick, we weren't finished first course and the second course was brought out (it was maybe 4 minutes apart). I'd suggest a lather gap between courses. Everything tasted amazing and they were nice enough to swap the oysters for another starter for us. The menu items are pricey but the Chefs tasting had great value for the variety and delicious flavours.

Our absolute favourite place to fine dine in Moama. The decor and ambiance is better than you would find in metro, the service is 5 star and the quality of the food is second to none. Well done to the junction team on nailing it every time.

We stopped here for a few drinks and nibbles, we could not complain staff were very friendly. They have everything you could ask for a decent size bistro, l would recommend to book they do get very busy over the weekends, gaming room, sports bar, Wheelchair access, Courtesy buses.

A pleasant ride on the Murray River. Plenty of seating on the decks. Coffee available as well as small snacks. Watch the steam engine while you’re going along the river.

An hour well spent on the Pevensey along the River Murray. The crew were very approachable and friendly. Informative commentary en route. Fascinating to watch the steam engine working. Snacks and drinks available on board.

We took the family in the Penevesy Paddle Steamer! 1 hour tour up the river and back! Very informative and relaxing!! Was a lovely day! You can book tickets online although you do need to get the physical tickets from the check in desk’

Relatively enjoyable experience. Disappointed that they still use large quantities of redgum as fuel, rather than considering ecological adjustments to their practice and how the steamers function. The information provided on the tour seems very one sided, rather than a balanced historical account and limited detail of impact on river or how the community care for the river. Also limited information on traditional custodians. It was pretty wishy washy. Staff were lovely and facilities were good.

Lots of fun and excellent talk on the river/steam paddle vessels. We also went to Morrison wines for lunch as part of this trip, which was fabulous.

The staff were not all that welcoming as this was our first time hiring a motor boat we were a bit nervous. But he did explain once we got in the boat, how to work it which was great because we had no idea for 2 beginners it was pretty hard

Surprised about the bad reviews here. Hired a canoe for two people and it was very efficient. From the very start it was quick, payment by cash. You get a barrel to put your stuff in to keep it dry. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plus there’s a nice dog that greets you when you come back. One of the staff members even took a photo of us and sent it to our phone once we finished. I’d come back again.

Huge car parking area. Easy to find as it's the only boat ramp just under the bridge. River flow rate made it difficult to paddle our double canoes upstream (due to recent high rainfall). You can paddle all the way to the Port which is great, but infrastructure and boats flanked one side of the river bank (we didn't get v far cos of strong currents! lol). About five to six large paddle boats passed, few speedboats in the hour we were out, so not very peaceful or quiet if that's what you're interested in! nevertheless the family had fun on a perfectly sunny day! check river conditions prior, and draw cash is my advice. the operator responds to mobile phone better than email.

We hired Kenny the BBQ boat for a group of 12 for 3 hours and it was fantastic. It was the highlight of the Easter weekend and a great way to see the Murray. The guys hiring out were helpful and gave us good instructions on how to drive it and where to stop for lunch and a swim.

Zero stars. For 3 days I tried calling, emailing and even went down to the office. No answer, no reply. I ended up with very disappointed children which in turn resulted in me being a very upset mum. Where are you???? Worst customer service ever.

Very reasonably priced canoe hire and SO much fun! Murray the owner will provide a life jacket, and a barrel to put your small stuff in (phone, keys, etc.) to keep them dry, at no extra charge. Take cash – there’s no eftpos here. You will get soaked, so take spare pants ;)

Hired a motor boat and had a great time! The gentleman was kind and helpful with telling us how to use. 4 of us and no licence necessary, went for a litttle bit of a fish, but great price for a little adventure. Would recommend

Great spot for a lovely and serene walk. This location hosts pretty views of the lagoon and the Murray River. The trail is also surrounded by many beautiful trees. I really enjoyed listening to the musical sounds of the birds and the insects and looking at the fishies swimming in the lagoon.

During our 3 days visit to Echuca we went there 2 times. Our 3 year old boy asked us to go back again. Very peaceful and beautiful little lake for walk in a nice weather. The boardwalk suits prams. There are boat ramps along Murray river, it feels great looking as people fishing at the river bank, dogs playing in the water and the paddlesteamers sailing by.

Very calm, peaceful to walk in the early morning. Good scenic view from the wharf. Short and sweet.

Brilliantly talented smiths within who are very eager to teach and allow others to learn. Gorgeous iron roses which are priced so well for the amount of work that go into them. Cute little horseshoes with your name on them and such a friendly and inviting vibe. The air-conditioning was a plus too

Wow what an experience watching this very talented man in action today and he run courses for $200 for 5 hours I will most definitely be doing this next time we are Echuca what a fantastic day. So much knowledge and willing to pass it on.

Informative and talented. Take the time to check it out and have a chat with a working blacksmith- its worth it! The roses are beautiful, but there is so much more to this shop.

Brought a horseshoe with my daughters name on it here and had it on our brand new caravan bench top then it bled black and stained the benchtop. Super annoying. If you buy one I’d be putting it straight into a ziplock bag of some sort.

I'm an exhibiting artist at the Customs House Gallery in Echuca and find the experience of displaying my work , as well volunteering , is inclusive and exciting . The gallery has on offer a wide variety of artistic gift wares that will please the most discerning buyer. All artwork , be it pottery , jewellery or paintings are uniquely one-off pieces .

Visited this gem of a gallery during school holidays. Huge range of artists and price points. There were so many rooms of art laden walls to inspire a purchase.The friendly owner engages well with the public and clearly knows the artists he represents.

As an artist ,who is so lucky to have wall space in the gallery,from my perpective it is welcoming and friendly,some artists also volunteer for duty,which then also helps people who come in get a first hand tour by someone who has a big interest in the gallery .Get yourself in soon .below is one of my works on display.

Customer Service needs to be improved i had to ask 5 staff before I got my answer i constantly go "i don't know" and "let me ask someone" i did 2 laps of the store before we ended up with some random tradie going "Its in isle 7 mate" crazy how noone there knows anything or has any idea what their job is I've genuinely never met a more incompetent group of people in that store mostly the young ones.

Bought a bench top from Bunnings Echuca which was in stock ,and had to be delivered, for $50 only 3min to home. They told me that it would be sent from Shepparton 78km away. Whose clever idea was this .

No star. First week of September ordered 5 packs of 4.8m artic white quick board. Told will be here within a week. Great ripped down ceiling of cabin. Got a phone call not arriving until end of month. Okay silly me went and played so chippy could grab it when arrived. Nearly 2000 worth not pennies. Date kept getting put back can't use cabin no ceiling. So got in touch with people who supply for bunnings. Told by area manager end of next week. 17th of October. Rightio sent that to tradie section of echuca bunnings as requested. We'll it's the 17th emailed echuca bunnings and told your tradie ordered it can't tell you if it's here. Rang and rang on hold for hours. Think I might go into echuca bunnings and get someone fired tomorrow. Cheers
