There was no legal or practical reason to deny such a purchase. This was an embarrassing and disappointing experience. Such restrictions are not only unfair, but they also damage the customer experience and the reputation of Scandlines. All passengers with a valid ticket should be treated equally, regardless of nationality. I hope the management will review this practice and ensure the rules are applied consistently.
