We visited Bikini Berlin just to check it out, and it turned out to be a really nice spot! The interior of the building is super aesthetic, clean, and spacious. One cool detail is that you can actually get a partial view of the zoo from inside. It’s true that not many people go to malls regularly these days, so the store selection isn’t filled with the usual big-name shops. Instead, you’ll find small, artsy stores selling handmade crafts and unique items, which adds to the charm. Overall, it’s not your typical mall it’s more of a cool, creative space with a relaxed vibe. It also makes a great meetup spot, especially with its green color theme and central location in the city. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a chill visit. :)

A unique and inspiring place. Some truly forward looking modern fashions, with your typical all-black clothing stores beside colourful clothes next door. Food, toilets (which you need to pay for rather frustratingly in cash) and a huge window that looks out onto the zoo so you can admire the creatures out of the window too

Cool place, love the concept of combing the nature views with shopping experience. It also has a fun auto photo machine, similar to the photomat. However a lot of stores need cash which is not convenient, also the toilet is not for free 🥲

Beautiful mall with stunning interior design and the terrace has a view of the zoo. However their food court doesn’t have a bathroom and not even a sink to wash your hands and the only alcohol dispenser was broken. When I looked for the bathroom next to the court inside the mall you had to pay to use it! It doesn’t make any sense to pay for your food but if you want to eat with clean hands you have to pay again!

A real Berliner shopping centre. Many interesting stores and coffeshops. Rooftop view is amazing

Its a nice place. Inspiring. But its more for a good wibe than real shopping. There are designers stored. Shopping is located in a very busy shopping area.

Some unic Berlin design clothes, purse and other things but kind of over price... There are a very good breakfast/brunch restaurant on top the mall and also you can see a little of the inside the zoo there.

Very busy cross roads. Has Ubahn and Sbahn and tram lines so don't worry getting there. You can shop for all international brands there. So get prepared for a lot of shopping bags.

Such a lively place, with a view of Spree and lots of restaurants and cafes. Everyone must visit it at least once.

Nice looking mall in the center of Berlin consisting of two connected buildings. You can buy refreshments here in supermarkets or in the food court, and there are a lot of shops. It's quite crowded even on weekdays. In upper floors, however, many shops are not occupied, and it's quite empty. Overall, it's hard to find your way around at first, but it's compensated by great views from balconies.

Mall of Berlin is a really great shopping center! It has a huge selection of stores, but what I really enjoyed is that there are lots of fun and interesting things tucked away in the corners. It's definitely worth exploring every section to find all the cool stuff and hidden gems!

A nice shopping mall with different options to buy. There is a DM, Zara home, Zara, a hair salon, Aldi, ice cream, jewelry, clothes, books, watches, perfumes, repairs, and much more. The food court has a lot of options and it is located in the third floor. There is a direct access from The stairs in the south entrance. It has small halls but it gives the feeling of an elegant and traditional shopping mall of the west. It has many different entrances, stairs and elevators.

I loved this mall. One of the largest malls I have been to. It’s also very beautiful on the outside in the courtyard area. There’s a good selection of shops , clothing, lingerie, health and beauty. Also nice touch with the nail bars and the barbers too. Only downside is side is that there was only one working toilet on the top floor when I visited

It's a nice and quite large shopping mall. The inside was clean and tidy. The restrooms here were paid, which I think is ridiculous. There was also a music event outside.

So many shops and food places. Excellent for fans of wasting money buying things you don’t need. Food court has lots of choice(including a lot of Asian restaurants). Many shops, lots of floors. Looks like it’s growing even more with adverts for new arrivals coming soon. Exciting! However, saying that, CHRISTMAS DOES NOT START ON THE 18th OF OCTOBER. I don’t know when they put up the decorations but come on guys. Impressively large shopping centre. Good work.

I have been living in Berlin for quite some time and had unfortunately never visited this mall. It is huge and has wide varieties of shops. The top floor has a food court and I must tell you it’s the biggest I had ever seen in Germany so far.

The Place for high brands shopping. Near the Wilhelm church and KeDeVe. Also very near to zoological garden. Highly recommend

Voo is one of the coolest stores I ever visited in Berlin. They sell carefully selected designer products, mostly fashion and clothing! The store is really vast and spacious, and it’s located next to a beautiful courtyard. Moreover, they have an in-house cafe which makes it even more pleasing to visit. I really enjoyed the retail experience at Voo.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this place this morning! I wasn’t in the best mood because I had a bad experience at the café I visited right before, but as soon as I walked in, the clean and well-organized space instantly made me feel more at ease. Whilst browsing the incense sticks, a short-haired blonde staff member kindly explained about them and even lit one so I could experience the scent, which really lifted my mood even more. When I purchased the incense sticks, she thoughtfully offered to wrap them in paper, preventing them from breaking in my bag — I really appreciated that. I also asked if it would be possible to get some tap water for my water bottle from the café which was part of the store, and she reassured me that it should be fine, and if not, she would get it from the staff room. As expected, the café staff was also kind enough to provide me with tap water. Overall, it was such a positive and refreshing experience, especially after the unpleasant one I had earlier. Thank you!

An excellent choice of clothing, perfume, and interior, but the staff needs improvement. I wanted to try on some boots and took two pairs from the shelf myself because they were my size. A store employee approached me and very rudely stated that I should have asked him, and he would have brought the correct size. He was so irritated that he didn't even notice that I had clarified several times that these were, in fact, my size. He was already heading to the back stockroom when I politely mentioned once more that I did not need his help and picked up the boots from the shelf again to finally try them on. It was a very unpleasant experience, and it's completely unclear what I did that caused such aggression from him.

Mauerpark is the perfect Berlin Sunday experience. The mix of locals and travellers makes it feel welcoming, and you get that authentic “community meets culture” vibe. Iconic place where many Berliners and tourists come together! Prices have gone up, but in general it feels also more organized. The flea market has bargains as well as high quality and costly fashion. What can be annoying sometimes is that it can be noisy from street artists, so talking and chilling is difficult. Easy to reach by public transport!

Large ground. They have flea market on every Sundays. Most of the shops accept cash only. All types of items are available there. Price is a little high though. But good for international items

One of the best shopping malls in Germany. Great architecture and facade of a building, very intricate and sophisticated interiors. Spacious, but could be crowded for obvious reasons. I would recommend to visit it during a week or in the morning on Saturday. Be careful with pastry and cakes. There are so many and delicious as well. You can visit Samsung store in a technology corner and check many other gadgets and products. There are plenty of restaurants and food corners, great selection of meat and fish 🐠

I simply love this place! I dropped by the (in my opinion) best-stocked shopping centre in Europe. The famous KaDeWe is now 115 years old and is located in the centre of Berlin. It is the largest shopping centre in central Europe and is second in size only to Harrods in London. This is my 6th time here and I am still in awe. Brands from all over the world, cuisines from all over the world. Prestige, class, wealth! KaDeWe also has one of the largest food floors in Europe. This is a place that has gathered cultures, smells, colours, styles, fabrics, gadgets and quality literally from everywhere and crammed them into one 60k m2 building. 50k people a day shop here. I recommend it to everyone, maybe not for a Gucci bag, but for a coffee, dessert or oysters!

Always a stellar experience. The food court on the 6th floor is incredible and the winter garden on the 7th has a great view. If you have a question, or need help, the staff are willing and knowledgeable. Taking into account, of course, the dry Berliner sense of humour.

We were there on a Saturday for brunch and the place itself is beautiful and love the plants on the ceilings. We also got a place after 5 minutes of waiting. And had to wait another 20-30 minutes for our food. The portion of the egg Benedict could be larger, but it tastes very delicious. But I still liked the coffee the most. I would go again for a coffee but not for food.

We got a table without a reservation after a short 5-minute wait, which was great. The service was excellent – very friendly and attentive. We both ordered decaf iced lattes, which were delicious. We also had the Eggs Benedict – they were good, though not the best I’ve ever had. I personally didn’t love the black cabbage salad that came with the bread, but that’s just a matter of taste. The location is bright and open with lots of natural light, and the overall vibe is really nice. I’d definitely come back – if only for the incredibly kind and welcoming staff!

A friend recommended this place, and I almost ordered everything on the menu, including the kitchen sink, because the food looked like it could win a beauty pageant. Unfortunately, it was more of a “looks can be deceiving” situation. The French toast was just bread with berries, lacking any sweetness—like a vanilla-less vanilla dream. I don’t usually go for super sweet stuff, but this was supposed to be a flavor explosion, not a flavor fizzle. On the bright side, the staff was friendly, and the library setting had some good vibes. I might give it another shot, but next time, I’ll order less and hope for a plot twist.

I ordered the vegan waffle. The menu says "we only have a few items so that we can make them well", which I respect and find smart. However, the waffle came out soggy and quite cold. For a Belgian waffle, as advertised, the waffle was also rather flat and undercooked. The flavors were tasty, particularly the apple quince, but after paying 16 euros, I would hope to feel moderately full, and yet my stomach is still grumbling. I loved the atmosphere, and the wait staff were kind.

Hallesches Haus is one of my favorite places in Berlin. My colleagues and I go there for lunch quite often. Great food, amazing ambience. One small complaint I've about this place is a bit of mismanagement during lunch time. They're super busy. Therfore, they miss orders. The food is served very late too. But food is simply the best.

The bacon was cooked to perfection but I think the leaves in the toast had a very strong flavor for my liking, I would have liked it better without them. The waffle is ok, but too many sweet components and it’s too sweet to eat it all.

I used to like this place, but my recent visit was a clear disappointment. We came for breakfast with friends and children and ordered everything for a shared table, so we could all eat together. Everyone received their food except my child, his waffle arrived about 20 minutes later, long after everyone else had already finished. The waitress never mentioned that it would take this long. When I politely pointed out that she should have warned us about the delay, her response was unexpectedly sharp and defensive. Like what do I want even from her. The waffle itself was undercooked and tasted like raw dough, my child spat it out immediately. When I returned it and explained, the waitress insisted that “it’s a sourdough waffle” (as if the problem was that we didn’t understand what it was and what is sourdough) and initially refused to remove it from the bill. There was no apology, no understanding, no attempt to make it right. In any professional cafe, this would have been handled differently. Here, it was just indifference and poor attitude. It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be good lose any sense of basic service standards.

It’s very expensive! People can literally buy new clothes with this price range! A normal shirt would cost you around €15 !!! Other thrift stores are much better compared to freshness and price .

A very cool looking vintage store with wide selection of converse and every weird old style clothing in every color you can imagine. For me it’s cool to just come in and take a look for fun but not the best place for shopping in my opinion (overpriced and majority of large sizes). But if you like the style, you should check it out for yourself

It's a small, stylish second-hand store with a great selection. I bought a beautiful jacket here for a fraction of the regular price. I recommend visiting!

I find the staff’s behavior rather strange. He says to my face about me not folding the clothes after trying on, but I only left the changing room abruptly cause I don’t feel comfortable at all with a male poking around asking questions when I am half naked🙂‍↕️(thanks to the permanent half open curtain) Plus why say it like it isn’t your job to tidy things up. Save the whining part to your boss instead of leaving it to customers perhaps. Would like to stay more time and look around but then decided that my mood is more important than possibly good clothes

Lovely selection of well known and lesser known brands, all selected (it seems) for longevity and usefulness. High end multibrand fashion and lifestyle shop. Super strong aesthetic vibe, it almost feels like a museum. A bit out of the way from my usual itinerary but a must visit every once in a while.

This place is so confusing. The brand selection is very interesting, it is a fascinating mix of fashion big names and niche artisans providing excellent fabrics, quality and craftsmanship and offering garments so well-crafted they could outlive you. It's a treasure of quality you barely find elsewhere in Berlin, even though the color palette seems to be sticking religiously just to blues and blacks. But the real problem is the setting. For a high-end concept store, the concept seems to be "warehouse chic meets garage sale" which sounds kewl but it's not. The doorman graciously opens the door, welcoming you into... A stripped-down warehouse painted in white that feels more like my mom's favorite bedding warehouse circa 2002 than a luxury boutique. The white box vibe is a bit passé and would better fit an art gallery anyway. Unused clothing racks and random stuff lurk in corners and awkwardly hidden behind mirrors, not so chic. The interior design section? Let's just say, like the rest of the space, it could use some interior design. In conclusion, It's a hopeful collection in a hopeless place, proof that you can't judge a book by its cover... or a store by its complete lack of flavor. Love the perfume selection though!

If you prefer to have effortless chic, please do visit this store and let the assistant to find suitable clothes for you. They are with good taste and always suggest the clothes which bring you to a nice way instead of that the clothes is wearing you. Some Japanese nice brand can also be found here easily!

From bars to coffee shops to shopping. You can spend a couple of hours exploring and end up at a bar having a beer. It looks cute at night and the rain made it more beautiful! There’s also this hall full of stickers and street art that takes you to Kiko Central, a nice lot of you want to take some Instagram pictures.

Very interesting street indeed! Berlin city is famous for its wall paintings and graffiti. But this particular street is a very happening place. Proud this place are good shopping opportunities. And when you're done with the work, you can find wonderful joints, cafes and small eating places.

Few inneryards interconnected together with cafes, shops, cinema. Actually people live here, so its a bit like entering a cool community. Pretty quiet and slow in the morning.

This is hands down the best bookshop I’ve ever visited—anywhere! From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by the massive selection of books across every genre imaginable. Whether you're into fiction, philosophy, art, travel, or niche subjects, this place has it all. What truly sets this shop apart is its incredibly friendly and helpful staff. There were so many assistants around, always ready with a smile, great recommendations, or guidance to help find exactly what I needed. Their passion for books really shines through! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy reading corners and a layout that makes browsing a joy. If you love books, this is an absolute must-visit in Berlin. Hands down the best bookstore in Berlin. Everything is well organized from stationary to books. The atmosphere is so cozy, toilets are always clean. The music section is HUGE, I literally spent hours going through the CDs! If you are a book/music lover it's a must visit. You will not be disappointed!

Such an amazing bookstore and friendly staff. We purchased from the English section which has Penguin publication issues from the UK we cannot get in the States. The building is 4 stories and has restrooms for guest. They also have reading areas and music section, plus souvenirs and such for purpose. Overall just a wonderful experience!

The most amazing bookstore I’ve ever been to. You can find anything and everything you desire, as long as it’s related to books, movies, music, media or culture in general. You can spend days in this store, and rarely get tired. The coffee shop and the restaurant are also worth mentioning because of their fast service and quality food. You owe it to yourself to visit this place at least once in your lifetime.

epic hang out spot for book lovers in Berlin. bookstore, counches all around to read books and decide if you wanna buy them. a restaurant too. and multi floor english book section at the back on the right. so cool. i would have spent a whole day here, and i plan to next time I'm in Berlin. There's also a restaurant and maybe floors of German books I'm yet to explore.

What an amazing book store. Probably the biggest I have ever been in. Spread over 5 floors with a cafe included. Seeing places like this make me jealous. Something so simple as having seats in the store to be able to relax. The international selection is a absolutely massive! There are toilets in the building and although there was a turnstile for a 50 cent payment it was turned off on my visit which is a bonus. Spent nearly two hours browsing, buying and reading 😁 Also theres a plant based restaurant just outside the store if that's your thing!

The best bookstore in all Germany and I suppose also in Europe too....a full immersion in generally culture, there's books for everybody and for all styles all!!!! Like me I love horror books I found very easy all tiles and authors I search. Staff are also very friendly and efficient always welcome to the visitors....

I placed my order two weeks ago, and the store still hasn't provided a tracking number. On top of that, they completely ignored all my emails and didn't respond even once. Extremely disappointing customer service—I definitely would not recommend shopping here. Update: A day after posting this review, the support team contacted me. In response to my request, "If it hasn't shipped yet, it's better to cancel it," they successfully canceled my order. Now I'm waiting to see how many weeks the refund process will take.

My order has been cancelled or delayed for two weeks and no responses from the store on my emails that I sent. The phone number is not available and no information about the situation - I understand the delays and other issues that can arise but it is not very good look for the company to ignore people who has made an order.

This is the best curated selection in all of Berlin. Come here to find all the rare and hard to find stuff you wouldn’t find from the more mainstream stores. The store associates are extremely attentive, and even though I went to their other recommendations, I came back a second time! The associate Taylan was amazing, and I recommend you ask for him when you come to the store. 6 out of 5!

I do NOT agree with the bad reviews AT ALL! Soto Store rocks! I found exclusive Air Max 1’s here ordered and after ordering read the bad reviews so I got scared. Used the chat to get confirmation in regards to delivery and returns. Patrisya helped me who was EXTREMELY kind and polite. She made and kept her promise! I bought a pair of OFF-WHITE Nike Air Max 90’s in the desert ore colorway from their online store. After I bought it, I read the reviews for this store and I was very worried. I don’t know why thjs store gets such a bad reputation. The customer service person, named Maria, was very helpful and responded to my emails very quickly. There were no extra charges or anything else I did not originally pay for. The shoes shipped to the west coast of the United States in less than a week, and everything was smooth along the way. Five stars.

It's a nice mall, and it has most things you need, aside a good food court. Now what mostly dissapointed me... it was quite dirty, floors and rails, spilled and sticky, trash in corners and electric stairs; they need to have a more proactive cleaning crew.

A really beautiful Mall. Of the best in Berlin. Most of the malls here are kind of lame, they don't have anything special that makes you visit them. Most of the time i buy online, but this Mall, along with a couple others makes the difference. The place is not big enough to make you feel lost, but is big enough to have nice stores, a good variety and also good places to snack. During Christmas there are some kiosks that sell candies and hot beverages. The Christmas decoration is also very nice.

It's an amazing place for creative souls and workers are also very helpful. Pets are also allowed, so I really enjoy to go there and take the time I need with my doggie. That’s said, A very interesting and good place for finding art supplies as well as some hardware for your home. the staff is super helpful and friendly. This wonderful store is split over multiple levels packed with an incredibly comprehensive selection of art supplies and stationery. Great trainer shop in Berlin. I've ordered many times online and was good to finally visit the store. Great selection of my favourite trainer brand Adidas and other top selling brands. Limited edition Adidas A-ZX series was in store as well as clothing on the floor above. If you're a fan of Adidas and you are in Berlin, definitely worth a visit. Easy to get to using the Underground or buses.

I'm a New Yorker living in Germany with that being said: This is probably one of coolest sneaker boutiques I have ever been to. The selection is amazing. The staff was polite. The store lived up to the hype. There was a second floor but I never made it up that far as there was so much to choose from on the first floor. It was worth going.

Two full walls of sneakers. You need a moment to go thought it while going through the other cool people. The other two walls are full of sprays, also a big visual impact. Upstairs is mens fashion but honestly I would buy there for me specially oversized sweaters. Is a nicely curated shop with interesting selection of brands.

Finally got the chance to visit this place. I’m an online customer of Overkill for 3 years already. They always have nice sneakers that I want and able to deliver to Finland too. The shop is packed with customers (on the men’s side). Really tall sneakers wall and a lot of brands and colors to choose from. I think all crews at Overkill can speak English, I had a chat with one crew at Overkill Women and he recommended me to avoid the store area during new year’s eve since it is like warzone. After some more chat with other Berliners, his advice is sound. The area is a warzone during new year’s eve.

4 months ago I bought some NIKE sneakers at the OVERKILL store in Schlesischer Tor (Berlin-Germany) and the product is defective, I made a claim with the Overkill consumer service, and they didn’t want to take care of the problem, they have also called me stupid telling me that I misuse my snikers. I have sent them pictures of my problem and they have ignored them. I am completely disappointed since this place had been recommended to me, I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN, the products are fake, they are not original. All my life I have used the Nike brand and I had no problem. It is impossible for some snikers to break in 4 months of use. I am very angry with overkill, don’t consume in their place because if they have a problem nobody will help them and they will treat them like fools. The way they treat their customers is unfortunate. Nice sweaters but they were REALLY expensive, like 350€ a piece. Overall, all the clothes are pretty much overpriced. But it's a nice place and they have this cool spray-paint cans wall.

A great collection that you can’t find anywhere.

Being new to Berlin, we wanted somewhere to enjoy a good coffee and observe city life. This cafe is beautifully placed on a relatively busy corner with wicker chairs and benches outside to sit on, thankfully it also has an awning to deploy during those unexpected rainshowers. It is a relaxed and friendly place to read a book and see how Berliners go about their day. Inside, there is a charming old-world vibe, with low lighting and darkwood furnishings; it's very cosy and full of character. I especially liked the old wood flooring and the thick wooden front door. Of course, they have a high quality selection of coffee, chocolates and cakes. The walnut cake and banana bread, oatmilk cappucino and americano were great, and the drinks come in a variety of colourful crockery. On both days we stayed here, the staff were great, and understood us even though we have hardly any German. This is a great place; if I lived in the neighbourhood I would go there all the time it is so peaceful.

My favorite chocolate store in Berlin! Perfect place to shop for souvenir. You can enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate and pastry here. I had the daily special Winterfeld hot chocolate which was white chocolate with curry, weirdly tasty and aromatic! No laptop on the weekend. There is also a bathroom.

Five stars. I came here during my previous visit and found it to be very charming. Set in an old pharmacy, the history of it only adds to its charm. The coffee, cake and atmosphere was also very good. Plenty of hot chocolate visits this winter.

You enter this small cafe and instanly it smells warm coffee and bitter chocolate all around you. It’s such a sweet place with lots of pralines and fudges to choose from as well as cakes and cookies. I tried their Wallnut cake and it was really delicious! They serve a quality brand coffee here and the service is friendly.

Eventhough this isn’t a candy store, there’s so much eye-candy here. You find sometjing new everywhere you look and there’s so much vintage and early 2000s stuff here, especially shoes. The items are on the pricier side, but the store is worth to check out even if you leave with nothing!

Despite the place being nice, my experience was not good: I bought a pair of sandals just to discover later the left one is smaller than the right, perhaps a defective item- such an article should have not been sold. I went back to ask for the right pair, but they refused to replace it citing that I should have checked the item before buying. Sorry, that's not ok, and the beer offered does not fix the issue. Check your items well!

The team—a truly professional and attentive guy and girl—were exceptional. It was exactly the caliber of service that elevates this place. Sincere thanks to the team for making this visit such a pleasure! After such an experience, I’ll enjoy wearing my new sweater twice as much. 😊

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one side it is very tastefully designed and the staff is friendly. On the other hand it seems a bit trying too hard; possibly more the customers it caters to than the store itself. In their selection I would have wished for something more creative, unique that doesn’t come right out of fashion catalogues, but then, maybe then I am at the wrong place in a Concept store.

This place has a great vibe and the music is immaculate. Great choice if you also want to grab a coffee. It is overpriced but if you’re okay with that, I truly recommend it for studying or working. I also tried the chocolate tart and it was mediocre at best….for 6€ I’m expecting sth more.

This is a scam rather than a real Amazon. I have applied 3 months ago with amazon in Bochum and yesterday in Amazon warehouse in Werne. After applying there(based on German Regulation for Western Balkan countries paragraph 26) I did send the papers to Ausländerbehörde and they approved it. After that they are telling me:" we do not have available appointments to sign the contract" and now because of them I have been given the last warning from Ausländerbehörde(Office for Immigration and Integration) quote:" you have been unsuccessful to establish a new work agreement and you must leave Germany within 4 weeks plus an re-entry ban in Germany(Schengen area)". Please guys, do not apply or even think to apply for this scamming company in Germany! I have been calling them hundreds of times and they only read the same pre-written sentence over and over again. If you cannot find a better job go collect pfand but, NEVER EVEN THINK OF APPLYING FOR AMAZON WAREHOUSE JOBS IN GERMANY! Maybe the law only applies to the poor people not to the rich ones even in Germany!

Went there today for a workshop. It's a beautiful building with a really relaxing environment that helped keep me focused on my work. The few people I met who worked there were also very friendly and informative.

The location is perfect, right in the center of the city. Lidl is stone throw distance away from it.

One of my favorite vintage stores in the city. The curation is amazing and you can really find super unique pieces here. Prices are a little high sometimes and the only thing that i really don’t like is the fact that there is no mirrors in the changing rooms so you have to walk into the store to take a look at what you’re trying on. Actually, my favorite thrift store in Berlin. The owner and staff are so sweet and helpful and they always have an incredible collection of very thoughtful pieces. You can tell that there is so much love and care both with regards to the selection of inventory and the environment of the store. I always feel welcome here and every time I visit Berlin I end up buying at least 6-8 pieces for my wife and collect some goodies for myself along the way :)

I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I’ve had. A shop assistant interrupted my friend and me to question where I had taken a jacket from, insisting it hadn’t been put out. I felt awkward asking if I could even buy it. Eventually, another person (likely the owner) confirmed I could. The assistant never apologized and even asked another staff member to hold the bag so she could place the jacket inside, which felt unnecessarily demeaning. The counter was also full of alcohol, and when my friend asked if there was an event, the assistant snapped, “It’s just Friday.” Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, almost as if customers were intruding on a private gathering rather than being valued in a retail store. The attitude of the staff was strange and unprofessional, and I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I was mostly browsing the accessories section, and they have a truly beautiful, well-curated collection of vintage, mostly custom, jewellery. It’s on the pricier side, but you’ll find unique pieces there, each with its own story — and the staff are happy to share those tales. I enjoyed the visit, even if the items were beyond my personal budget.

Rather expensive. Defeats the concept of sustainable fashion since many big brands offer much lower prices. If you have money to spend, their goods are in top condition and you just might find something special, with a bit of luck. The store is really small and only has a few racks of clothes. They also sell some accessories. One star because I left empty-handed.

In this airy, not overcrowded store you’ll find plenty of clothing and accessories from local designers. Prices are on the higher end, but totally reasonable for what you’re getting - a unique, handmade garment! The staff was super friendly while also giving us space to roam around until we wanted assistance. There was a seam that was loose on a garment we were buying, but we were met with lovely service regarding that - got a discount and fixed it at a tailor’s on the way home. I will definitely come back and recommend a visit to my friends!

We had a great time visiting the Berlin Wall exhibit near Bahnhof Potsdamer Platz. It was a powerful and educational experience, especially sharing it with the kids. Seeing the actual remnants of the Wall sparked some meaningful conversations about history, freedom, and unity. The displays around the site are very informative, with photos and facts that helped us understand the significance of this area during the Cold War. We learned how Potsdamer Platz was once a desolate “no-man’s land” and is now a vibrant part of the city — such a striking transformation! It’s a quick stop, but packed with history. A great way to introduce kids to this important piece of the past while enjoying all the excitement Berlin has to offer nearby. Highly recommend!

I tried the handmade chocolates. They were quite good. However, I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever eaten at. The fillings were very flavorful. Atmosphere is very nice. Especially the first floor is one of the best chocolate shops I've ever visited. Although the chocolates were great, I decided to give it 4 stars in comparison to Neuhaus.

It was really nice — there were many different types of chocolate, and the bar on the top floor was also good. I gave it 4 stars because we had to wait about 30–40 minutes in line before getting two free seats. I also missed having windows for better air circulation. The prices were reasonable, and both the hot chocolate and the small chocolates were good.

We had a fantastic visit here. Not to be missed. This is a chocolate shop, a chocolate factory dedicated to the art of true chocolate, and a wonderful cafe on the top floor where exemplary coffee is served to accompany some beautiful chocolate desserts. Not overpriced like some I have been to but still easy to spend a few euros easily as the temptations are omnipresent. Service in all areas was super and we delighted in the experience. You need to book the cafe to get a seat.

One of the best chocolateries out there. I went to buy souvenirs and a little something for me to try. It is a bit pricey I won't lie BUT the quality and taste is totally worth the price. You can either buy boxes with fixed chocolate in or pick what you want from a huge selection they have.

great place for hot chocolate (esp dark of upto 80%), we tried their 70-75% dark Ecudor and Costa Rica. Wierdly Ecuador 70 was bitter comparatively, but it was both thick and rich. However they could be a tad bit sweeter, costed close to 4.80e for one cup Staff are very kind and friendly, I love love love their choco lava cake (this is only available in their cafè upstairs) and kitchen closes by before or around 7ish, so best to check before going in (also has toilet if you need) Variety chocolate packs, great gift ideas and selection to buy from

There are a lot of chocolate varieties. You will definitely find something to but if you are chocolate lover. There are also two cafes. The one at the top floor has a queue and you need to wait to enter. The one at the basement is a small one, you can sit outside or inside with a few fast sitting options. Maybe I went there with high expectation, but I found this place a bit overrated. The brownie I had at the basement cafe and taste of choclates didn't impress me very much.

If you're trying the cooked food however, I'd skip the 'recommended' fried fish fillet and try the other types of cuisines. The fried fish wasn't as 'fresh' tasting or flaky like I like it. It was tough and tasted rubbery. The smoked or baked seafood looked amazing though and I'd want to try those next time.

The flatwhite was tasty, right on point, the Colombian beans never dissappoint. And it was 4€, which is very reasonable for being in Berlin, although the cup was smaller than other shops. The atmosphere was nice and well ventilated (inside), as well as a nice outdoor seatings. It was crowded, and I had to wait for quite a bit, but there were still some seats left. I had to order a takeaway though since I was short on time. Staffs were efficient in handling the orders. They seemed a bit rushed and impatient in the services, but its totally understandable due to the ammount of orders they have to process. Overall good.

Coffee was good. I had a flat white. Also got a peanut butter cookie, which was delicious. There were a lot of people hanging around outside when I went (3pm on a Sunday) but not many people sitting inside. There was a queue to order. Staff seemed a little stressed and overwhelmed with how busy it was.

We stopped for coffee after strolling Mauerpark flee market, one of the best coffees we had in Berlin, nice service and lovely rustic atmosphere.

Bonanza! It’s a coffee shop near Mauerpark. Vibe is different, I would say - a very “berlinish” place. Different vibe but it suits a place very well. Interiors are not so glamorous, but shabby. There is some old smell like in a grandma’s apartment. Looks like there wasn’t a big investment in that place it all. It has a toilet which is small and clean. For some tourists it could be important and for locals as well. Besides that - it’s Bonanza. Great coffee and service as always.

Usually I always come for the cascara soda (which btw is such gift to us not being able to tolerate too much caffeine) anyhow this time around i decided to try the iced latte, and wow! Not the biggest coffee fan but it was so delicious 😋 also they have double shots in all their drinks?! Definitely worth it!!

Coffee is nice but the wait times are atrocious IMO (10+ minutes for one coffee). Maybe just on the weekends, I don't know.

I had an iced filter coffee and a peanut butter cookie. I thought the iced filter was nothing special, but you can’t expect too much from a filter. That said, I have had filter coffee at other venues where the bean selected had some really impressive flavour profiles. I thought the peanut butter cookie I had was quite good - it was moist and the peanut flavour was present. I liked the atmosphere outside, it was lively, with a bunch of people sitting around chatting. It was really nice on a sunny day.

Great market to have street food take away. It works each Saturday. Most places accept only cash and some places also accept cards

Went to the farmers market on Saturday. Excellent range of things to buy and a good range of food.

We visit the market at Kollwitzplatz every Saturday – it has already become our ritual 😁 You can buy everything you need: fresh bread, interesting varieties of cheese, pastries, fresh pasta, vegetables, fruits, flowers, fish, and enjoy a glass (or two) of wine. If you love this too – make sure to come and look for what you like. This is not a market you go to for cheap bargains, but a place where you enjoy the city’s atmosphere, flavors, and interesting people.

LOVED this area. It's a very popular "kiez" in Berlin (kiez is a Berliner term for specific neighborhood within a neighborhood). Felt very local, non-touristy, with lots of families, restaurants, parks, and on Thursdays (when I was there) and Saturdays, it hosts a very popular outdoor organic market. Also, it's the neighborhood where artist Kathe Kollwitz lived and worked. NOTE: the very same Kathe Kollwitz who will be the subject of a major show at MoMA next year.

Weekend market , lots food & snack items to try, fresh vegetables & fruits from farmers sold here. Lots of other items, can walk around & explore:)

Really beautiful store with expensive albeit well-made homeware. Customer service could be improved, as it felt I was shopping around the staff stocking the shelves and not the other way around. Also, one of the cashiers was rude on several occasions. However, upon filing a complaint, the rude behavior was promptly acknowledged and addressed by management.

The client service is very easy to reach out to, they were helpful and understanding, excused for a slightly damaged article we wanted to return, and offer a replacement service as well, plus some customization option to the preset furniture that comes in a bundle with some additional elements. We could have chosen another color of one of the elements for example, available as a separate article. They also organise the collection of the returned (heavy) goods from home by DHL. The website could be organised a bit better with the cross references to the products, as for example it was not obvious to find some accessories to our order related to the Container DS. But eventually when digging in the website, we have found what we were looking for. For now I am very satisfied with the service and have designed all my hallway with the beautiful Containers DS.

Great specialty shop for kitchen gear and gadgets. Definitely not cheap, but we paid what one would expect for a quality item, and so far, it's been worth the money. Staff were pleasant and not overbearing.

The original store in Berlin and in its most famous street! Prices vary from some quite reasonable and favorable for certain items to some expensive ones (such as children's clothes). The store is actually a souvenir shop with the theme of Ampelman, the famous little man who has been adorning Berlin's traffic lights for decades.

Good fun and unique to Germany. . As Brit in Germany I loved this store. It's just fun. The Ampelmann merchandise is such a delight for no apparent logical reason. . If it's good enough for the 'Hoff' it's good enough for me 😂
