Shopping mall
Bikini Berlin, located in Charlottenburg, is a unique retail and dining complex housed in an iconic 1950s building. It offers open spaces and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the Berlin Zoo. This concept mall features a mix of local and international niche brands, as well as pop-up stores showcasing emerging designers. The location also hosts various events and exhibitions.
Bikini Berlin is a really unique spot! It was a very interesting sight and a cool place to check out. The whole concept of the mall is awesome, and I love the "Bikini" window where you can watch the animals at the zoo. Definitely a fun and different kind of shopping experience!
Danny S — Google review
We visited Bikini Berlin just to check it out, and it turned out to be a really nice spot! The interior of the building is super aesthetic, clean, and spacious. One cool detail is that you can actually get a partial view of the zoo from inside. It’s true that not many people go to malls regularly these days, so the store selection isn’t filled with the usual big-name shops. Instead, you’ll find small, artsy stores selling handmade crafts and unique items, which adds to the charm. Overall, it’s not your typical mall it’s more of a cool, creative space with a relaxed vibe. It also makes a great meetup spot, especially with its green color theme and central location in the city. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a chill visit. :)
Chimichurri — Google review
A unique and inspiring place. Some truly forward looking modern fashions, with your typical all-black clothing stores beside colourful clothes next door. Food, toilets (which you need to pay for rather frustratingly in cash) and a huge window that looks out onto the zoo so you can admire the creatures out of the window too
Robin R — Google review
Cool place, love the concept of combing the nature views with shopping experience. It also has a fun auto photo machine, similar to the photomat. However a lot of stores need cash which is not convenient, also the toilet is not for free 🥲
Ray L — Google review
Beautiful mall with stunning interior design and the terrace has a view of the zoo. However their food court doesn’t have a bathroom and not even a sink to wash your hands and the only alcohol dispenser was broken. When I looked for the bathroom next to the court inside the mall you had to pay to use it! It doesn’t make any sense to pay for your food but if you want to eat with clean hands you have to pay again!
Sabrina F — Google review
A real Berliner shopping centre. Many interesting stores and coffeshops. Rooftop view is amazing
Ime ( — Google review
Its a nice place. Inspiring. But its more for a good wibe than real shopping. There are designers stored. Shopping is located in a very busy shopping area.
Michaela B — Google review
Some unic Berlin design clothes, purse and other things but kind of over price... There are a very good breakfast/brunch restaurant on top the mall and also you can see a little of the inside the zoo there.

Friedrichstraße is a bustling urban street in Berlin, known for its mix of historic and modern architecture, big stores, and entertainment venues. It's a popular choice for tourists looking to combine shopping with exploring the city's attractions. The street has a rich history tied to World War II and is home to landmarks like Checkpoint Charlie and Brandenburger Tor. A really long street in the centre of Berlin. Many good shops and restaurants. Accessible by public transport.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Berlin on Leipziger Platz, the Mall of Berlin is a shopping haven that has quickly become a must-visit destination since its opening in 2014. Spanning an impressive 76,000 square meters across four floors, this expansive mall features around 300 shops showcasing both international brands and local favorites. Whether you're hunting for trendy clothing or need to stock up on groceries at the supermarket, you'll find it all here.
A Shopper’s Paradise in the Heart of Berlin! The Mall of Berlin is an absolute gem a modern, stylish, and vibrant shopping destination that has something for everyone. Located right near Potsdamer Platz, it’s easy to get to and makes for the perfect stop whether you’re looking to shop, dine, or just unwind. What I loved: Huge Variety of Stores: From international fashion brands, there’s something for every style and budget. There’s also a great mix of tech, beauty, sports, and home stores, you can easily spend hours exploring. Spacious and Beautiful Layout: The architecture is stunning airy, clean, and easy to navigate across multiple levels. Even when it’s busy, it never feels cramped. Delicious Food Court: The food court on the upper level is fantastic, with everything from sushi and burgers to local German dishes and sweet treats. Whether you want a quick bite or a relaxed meal, you'll find great options. Family-Friendly: There are clean restrooms, elevators, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot for families and kids. Plus, plenty of spots to sit and rest between shopping sprees! Open Late and Convenient: With long opening hours and central location, it's perfect for tourists and locals alike. It's also close to major landmarks, so you can easily combine it with sightseeing. Overall: Whether you’re in Berlin for a few days or you live here, the Mall of Berlin is a must-visit if you enjoy shopping, good food, or just a fun indoor escape. Modern, convenient, and full of life — it’s a five-star experience all the way!
Anais G — Google review
Nice looking mall in the center of Berlin consisting of two connected buildings. You can buy refreshments here in supermarkets or in the food court, and there are a lot of shops. It's quite crowded even on weekdays. In upper floors, however, many shops are not occupied, and it's quite empty. Overall, it's hard to find your way around at first, but it's compensated by great views from balconies.
Roman K — Google review
Mall of Berlin is a really great shopping center! It has a huge selection of stores, but what I really enjoyed is that there are lots of fun and interesting things tucked away in the corners. It's definitely worth exploring every section to find all the cool stuff and hidden gems!
Danny S — Google review
A nice shopping mall with different options to buy. There is a DM, Zara home, Zara, a hair salon, Aldi, ice cream, jewelry, clothes, books, watches, perfumes, repairs, and much more. The food court has a lot of options and it is located in the third floor. There is a direct access from The stairs in the south entrance. It has small halls but it gives the feeling of an elegant and traditional shopping mall of the west. It has many different entrances, stairs and elevators.
Sofía G — Google review
I loved this mall. One of the largest malls I have been to. It’s also very beautiful on the outside in the courtyard area. There’s a good selection of shops , clothing, lingerie, health and beauty. Also nice touch with the nail bars and the barbers too. Only downside is side is that there was only one working toilet on the top floor when I visited
Cookie — Google review
It's a nice and quite large shopping mall. The inside was clean and tidy. The restrooms here were paid, which I think is ridiculous. There was also a music event outside.
Ruslan M — Google review
So many shops and food places. Excellent for fans of wasting money buying things you don’t need. Food court has lots of choice(including a lot of Asian restaurants). Many shops, lots of floors. Looks like it’s growing even more with adverts for new arrivals coming soon. Exciting! However, saying that, CHRISTMAS DOES NOT START ON THE 18th OF OCTOBER. I don’t know when they put up the decorations but come on guys. Impressively large shopping centre. Good work.
R. G — Google review
I have been living in Berlin for quite some time and had unfortunately never visited this mall. It is huge and has wide varieties of shops. The top floor has a food court and I must tell you it’s the biggest I had ever seen in Germany so far.

Cafe
Voo Store, located in Kreuzberg, is a concept store housed in a former locksmith's shop. The store offers contemporary clothing, shoes, homeware, and accessories alongside a café. The space features untreated concrete walls and bold lighting that reflects Berlin's industrial aesthetic. Voo Store carries well-crafted outerwear from brands like Acne and classic sneakers from New Balance. It also stocks colorful sweaters from Kenzo and accessories such as Raf Simons' collaboration with Eastpak.
Certainly a unique fashionable store that has a serious enough a coffee shop that makes it alone worth a trip. The clothes are fashionable, many quite cutting edge and also very much expensive. The coffee is new wave and is very well made within the style. Espressos too acidic as usual, milk drinks and filter decent to very good. Overall a fun and comfortable experience.
Yevgen G — Google review
Voo is one of the coolest stores I ever visited in Berlin. They sell carefully selected designer products, mostly fashion and clothing! The store is really vast and spacious, and it’s located next to a beautiful courtyard. Moreover, they have an in-house cafe which makes it even more pleasing to visit. I really enjoyed the retail experience at Voo.
Ali S — Google review
I had a wonderful experience visiting this place this morning! I wasn’t in the best mood because I had a bad experience at the café I visited right before, but as soon as I walked in, the clean and well-organized space instantly made me feel more at ease. Whilst browsing the incense sticks, a short-haired blonde staff member kindly explained about them and even lit one so I could experience the scent, which really lifted my mood even more. When I purchased the incense sticks, she thoughtfully offered to wrap them in paper, preventing them from breaking in my bag — I really appreciated that. I also asked if it would be possible to get some tap water for my water bottle from the café which was part of the store, and she reassured me that it should be fine, and if not, she would get it from the staff room. As expected, the café staff was also kind enough to provide me with tap water. Overall, it was such a positive and refreshing experience, especially after the unpleasant one I had earlier. Thank you!
Jane C — Google review
cutest store and café with great matcha and filter coffee and some of my fav baked goods (sofi lemon poppy cake and la maison banana bread and more hehe) beautiful courtyard and cool for interior browsing, finding a new fancy fav scent or an elevated piece of clothing — super friendly barista!

‏What a fantastic find! This shop has such a cool vibe and a lovely little coffee corner 💕☕️
THE O — Google review
An excellent choice of clothing, perfume, and interior, but the staff needs improvement. I wanted to try on some boots and took two pairs from the shelf myself because they were my size. A store employee approached me and very rudely stated that I should have asked him, and he would have brought the correct size. He was so irritated that he didn't even notice that I had clarified several times that these were, in fact, my size. He was already heading to the back stockroom when I politely mentioned once more that I did not need his help and picked up the boots from the shelf again to finally try them on. It was a very unpleasant experience, and it's completely unclear what I did that caused such aggression from him.

Mauerpark is a former border between East and West Berlin that has been transformed into a vibrant park with grassland and trees. It is home to one of the most popular flea markets in Berlin, offering a bustling and village-like atmosphere. The park also hosts Bear-Pit Karaoke, where visitors can enjoy or participate in karaoke sessions in an amphitheater. Nearby, Arkonaplatz offers a more laid-back alternative flea market experience.
Mauerpark is a must-visit spot in Berlin. It has a unique vibe vibrant, authentic, and full of life. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with people enjoying the flea market, live music, street food, and plenty of art. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon, watch spontaneous performances, and soak up the multicultural spirit of the city. A space full of history, but also bursting with creativity. Highly recommended!
Aank S — Google review
Mauerpark is the perfect Berlin Sunday experience. The famous flea market was in full swing when I visited — stalls packed with vintage clothes, vinyl, art, handmade jewellery, and plenty of street food options. It’s busy, but not overwhelming, and it has that creative, free-spirited vibe Berlin does so well. What really stood out is that even with the markets on, the park itself still has plenty of space. You can step away from the crowd into open green areas to picnic, relax, or just people-watch. Musicians, performers, and random jam sessions pop up everywhere, so there’s always a soundtrack as you wander. The mix of locals and travellers makes it feel welcoming, and you get that authentic “community meets culture” vibe. Whether you’re there for treasure hunting at the stalls, catching some live music, or just lying on the grass soaking up the atmosphere, it’s a must-visit. Tip: go earlier if you want to explore the market without rushing, then spend the afternoon chilling in the park. Bring cash, an appetite, and time to really take it all in.
Beau S — Google review
Iconic place where many Berliners and tourists come together! Prices have gone up, but in general it feels also more organized. The flea market has bargains as well as high quality and costly fashion. What can be annoying sometimes is that it can be noisy from street artists, so talking and chilling is difficult. Easy to reach by public transport!
Aslan V — Google review
Mauerpark is a vibrant spot in Berlin, perfect for a relaxed day out. I loved the lively Sunday flea market, street food, and the famous bearpit karaoke. The park has a creative vibe with graffiti walls, music, and a friendly crowd. Great place to hang out, especially on weekends!

KaDeWe, short for Kaufhaus des Westens, is a grand department store that first opened its doors in 1907. It stands as a symbol of West Germany's post-war economic resurgence and is now the flagship of the struggling Karstadt retail group. With over a century of history, this Berlin institution boasts an impressive range of high-end designers alongside more youthful labels like Alice+Olivia and Buffalo.
Wow, this place is crazy....in a good way. Specialized clothing especially if you've won the lottery. It's worth a visit to browse, especially up top where the food court is. You can spend a whole day alone just on the food court floor where you can dine in or browse the pastries and candies. The home/kitchen ware is incredible as in the knives selection. Oh, there's a Moet bar and a caviar bar as well.... $$$$. We settled for a killer Pho restaurant w a nice Reisling and it was awesome, we would go bk just for the pho. It's an easy Spahn outside of Berlin, so take advantage of their public transport....
RON M — Google review
One of the best shopping malls in Germany. Great architecture and facade of a building, very intricate and sophisticated interiors. Spacious, but could be crowded for obvious reasons. I would recommend to visit it during a week or in the morning on Saturday. Be careful with pastry and cakes. There are so many and delicious as well. You can visit Samsung store in a technology corner and check many other gadgets and products. There are plenty of restaurants and food corners, great selection of meat and fish 🐠

Out of This Planet: A Must-Visit Berlin Icon! If you’re visiting Berlin and don’t stop at KaDeWe, you’re missing out on one of the most extraordinary shopping and lifestyle experiences in Europe. This isn’t just a department store, it’s a luxurious adventure, a cultural icon, and a sensory playground all in one! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a world where elegance meets innovation. The layout is stunning, with beautifully curated departments, upscale boutiques, and high-end designer labels from all over the world. Whether you're into fashion, beauty, homeware, or gourmet food, KaDeWe has it all and then some. But the real magic? The legendary 6th and 7th floors. The Gourmet Food Hall (6th floor) is out of this world. It’s a paradise for food lovers, with everything from truffle cheeses and fresh seafood to rare wines and handcrafted chocolates. You can sip Champagne at the oyster bar or grab a freshly made schnitzel, sushi, or pastries from one of the many gourmet counters. The quality and presentation are unmatched. The Wintergarten Restaurant (7th floor) offers stunning panoramic views of Berlin, the perfect place to unwind with a cappuccino or cocktail after shopping. The natural light and glass roof make it feel like you’re dining in the clouds. Service throughout KaDeWe is top-tier: friendly, multilingual staff who treat every guest like a VIP. Even if you’re just window shopping, the experience is immersive and unforgettable. KaDeWe is more than just retail, it’s a cultural must-see, a place that blends tradition with modern luxury in a way that’s out of this planet. Whether you're a tourist, foodie, fashionista, or simply curious, do not leave Berlin without spending time here.

Visiting KaDeWe is always a delight. The pastries are not only beautiful but also absolutely delicious — a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. I love enjoying meals on their restaurants or in the canteen, soaking in the vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. Shopping for branded items here is a real pleasure, with attentive service that makes every purchase enjoyable. And the best part is? Finding the perfect gift is effortless — just stroll through KaDeWe, and you’ll discover exactly what you’re looking for. ✨🛍️

KaDeWe is a must-visit in Berlin! The shopping area offers a beautiful mix of luxury brands and elegant atmosphere. The pâtisserie on the top floor is exceptional — the éclairs are light, creamy, and absolutely delicious. A perfect place to shop, relax, and indulge!
Denis S — Google review
If you decided to participate in the vanity of the entire street, whether it's your choice of lifestyle or just for fun as a tourist, you can either waste your time standing in line for one of the famous purses & handbags stores, or go up to the top floor and enjoy exquisit smells and tastes. 5 starts for the exhibition, 2 starts for the life style.
Roy B — Google review
I simply love this place! I dropped by the (in my opinion) best-stocked shopping centre in Europe. The famous KaDeWe is now 115 years old and is located in the centre of Berlin. It is the largest shopping centre in central Europe and is second in size only to Harrods in London. This is my 6th time here and I am still in awe. Brands from all over the world, cuisines from all over the world. Prestige, class, wealth! KaDeWe also has one of the largest food floors in Europe. This is a place that has gathered cultures, smells, colours, styles, fabrics, gadgets and quality literally from everywhere and crammed them into one 60k m2 building. 50k people a day shop here. I recommend it to everyone, maybe not for a Gucci bag, but for a coffee, dessert or oysters!
Przemysław P — Google review
Always a stellar experience. The food court on the 6th floor is incredible and the winter garden on the 7th has a great view. If you have a question, or need help, the staff are willing and knowledgeable. Taking into account, of course, the dry Berliner sense of humour.

Hallesches Haus Store is a trendy spot in the vibrant Berlin district of Kreuzberg, offering a combination of a gift shop, brunch spot, and events space. The store features stylish fashion, accessories, everyday homeware from independent labels, and unique gifts like nude torso candles. The bright and plant-filled space also houses a delightful cafe serving brunch with vegan options.
This place has such a pretty outdoor area, especially on a sunny day. The overall design is lovely, and it’s the kind of spot where you could easily spend hours relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. They even have a dedicated laptop area, though I was a bit disappointed to find out that laptops aren’t allowed on weekends when I came to work. My favourite dish here is the Caponata and Hummus, it looks beautiful and tastes even better!
Niusha A — Google review
We were there on a Saturday for brunch and the place itself is beautiful and love the plants on the ceilings. We also got a place after 5 minutes of waiting. And had to wait another 20-30 minutes for our food. The portion of the egg Benedict could be larger, but it tastes very delicious. But I still liked the coffee the most. I would go again for a coffee but not for food.
Vaish T — Google review
We got a table without a reservation after a short 5-minute wait, which was great. The service was excellent – very friendly and attentive. We both ordered decaf iced lattes, which were delicious. We also had the Eggs Benedict – they were good, though not the best I’ve ever had. I personally didn’t love the black cabbage salad that came with the bread, but that’s just a matter of taste. The location is bright and open with lots of natural light, and the overall vibe is really nice. I’d definitely come back – if only for the incredibly kind and welcoming staff!
Sarah G — Google review
A friend recommended this place, and I almost ordered everything on the menu, including the kitchen sink, because the food looked like it could win a beauty pageant. Unfortunately, it was more of a “looks can be deceiving” situation. The French toast was just bread with berries, lacking any sweetness—like a vanilla-less vanilla dream. I don’t usually go for super sweet stuff, but this was supposed to be a flavor explosion, not a flavor fizzle. On the bright side, the staff was friendly, and the library setting had some good vibes. I might give it another shot, but next time, I’ll order less and hope for a plot twist.
Nicholas G — Google review
I ordered the vegan waffle. The menu says "we only have a few items so that we can make them well", which I respect and find smart. However, the waffle came out soggy and quite cold. For a Belgian waffle, as advertised, the waffle was also rather flat and undercooked. The flavors were tasty, particularly the apple quince, but after paying 16 euros, I would hope to feel moderately full, and yet my stomach is still grumbling. I loved the atmosphere, and the wait staff were kind.
Esme J — Google review
Hallesches Haus is one of my favorite places in Berlin. My colleagues and I go there for lunch quite often. Great food, amazing ambience. One small complaint I've about this place is a bit of mismanagement during lunch time. They're super busy. Therfore, they miss orders. The food is served very late too. But food is simply the best.
Asha G — Google review
The bacon was cooked to perfection but I think the leaves in the toast had a very strong flavor for my liking, I would have liked it better without them. The waffle is ok, but too many sweet components and it’s too sweet to eat it all.
Ana L — Google review
I used to like this place, but my recent visit was a clear disappointment. We came for breakfast with friends and children and ordered everything for a shared table, so we could all eat together. Everyone received their food except my child, his waffle arrived about 20 minutes later, long after everyone else had already finished. The waitress never mentioned that it would take this long. When I politely pointed out that she should have warned us about the delay, her response was unexpectedly sharp and defensive. Like what do I want even from her. The waffle itself was undercooked and tasted like raw dough, my child spat it out immediately. When I returned it and explained, the waitress insisted that “it’s a sourdough waffle” (as if the problem was that we didn’t understand what it was and what is sourdough) and initially refused to remove it from the bill. There was no apology, no understanding, no attempt to make it right. In any professional cafe, this would have been handled differently. Here, it was just indifference and poor attitude. It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be good lose any sense of basic service standards.

It's an influential presence in Berlin and other major German cities, combining the forces of four different shops. The store offers a diverse range of secondhand clothing from various eras, including eccentric costume wear, fun prints, and quirky cuts. Customers can find and weigh their items before paying per kilogram.
Emily at the front cashier is so sweet and wholesome. She helped us with savings and wanted the best experience for us as guests in her shop. Thanks and will be returning when i’m back in Berlin! Also the shop is super close to the station, max 7 min walk.

It’s very expensive! People can literally buy new clothes with this price range! A normal shirt would cost you around €15 !!! Other thrift stores are much better compared to freshness and price .

really cool clothes, variety of sizes, the cream of the crop from the picknweight store further down the street. cash only, but there's an atm relatively close by and fitting room section is clean

A very cool looking vintage store with wide selection of converse and every weird old style clothing in every color you can imagine. For me it’s cool to just come in and take a look for fun but not the best place for shopping in my opinion (overpriced and majority of large sizes). But if you like the style, you should check it out for yourself

The store's original location on Potsdamer Strasse remains a standout with its impressive design and carefully selected goods.
Beautiful store, well lit and amazing selection of high-end designer brands, as well as exclusive, furniture, and household goods. Friendly staff, and very helpful. Enjoyed being able to check everything out from the perfumes to the clothing to the accessory’s down to the furniture and plates. It was fun checking this place out and we were glad that we are able to pick up a very nice priced item. They have nice sales up to 50% off once in a while and especially end of season. Lovely store and lovely people in it.
Kristopher M — Google review
Andreas Murkudis’ store in Berlin is basically a vibe for anyone into high-end fashion, cool design, and unique lifestyle finds. The store has this super sleek, minimal look that feels more like an art gallery than a shop. As soon as you walk in, you know everything is handpicked with care. They stock a mix of luxury fashion, rare home goods, and exclusive accessories from both big-name designers and indie brands you probably haven’t heard of yet. The best part? Everything here is about quality. Whether it’s a jacket, a chair, or a random decor piece, you can tell it’s made to last and has a story behind it. The staff are chill and know their stuff, always ready to give you the deets on a product without pressuring you. The whole vibe is calm and low-key, which is a nice change from the usual chaotic shopping experience. You won’t find fast fashion or trendy stuff here—it’s more about timeless, standout pieces. Prices can be up there, but the quality makes it worth it. If you’re into art, design, or just beautifully crafted things, Andreas Murkudis is a must-see. Even if you’re just browsing, it’s an experience that sticks with you.

Exceptional concept space in Berlin. Masterful selection of established designers, art pieces, and curated exhibitions. Service hits different here - the team actually gets it, knows their collection inside out, and delivers that rare mix of expertise with zero attitude. The whole experience, from the space design to the product curation, shows real understanding of what quality retail should be. DK 🖤

I find the staff’s behavior rather strange. He says to my face about me not folding the clothes after trying on, but I only left the changing room abruptly cause I don’t feel comfortable at all with a male poking around asking questions when I am half naked🙂‍↕️(thanks to the permanent half open curtain) Plus why say it like it isn’t your job to tidy things up. Save the whining part to your boss instead of leaving it to customers perhaps. Would like to stay more time and look around but then decided that my mood is more important than possibly good clothes
翟婉冰 — Google review
Incredibly helpful, supportive, warm and intelligent staff who absolutely know the products here and will help you find what you need/want/will love. Lovely selection of well known and lesser known brands, all selected (it seems) for longevity and usefulness. I absolutely love this store and if I'm anywhere near it I always stop by... for a fragrance, a gift, a gown, a suit, they will have the perfect thing for you. <3
Lauren H — Google review
High end multibrand fashion and lifestyle shop. Super strong aesthetic vibe, it almost feels like a museum. A bit out of the way from my usual itinerary but a must visit every once in a while.
Lisa — Google review
This place is so confusing. The brand selection is very interesting, it is a fascinating mix of fashion big names and niche artisans providing excellent fabrics, quality and craftsmanship and offering garments so well-crafted they could outlive you. It's a treasure of quality you barely find elsewhere in Berlin, even though the color palette seems to be sticking religiously just to blues and blacks. But the real problem is the setting. For a high-end concept store, the concept seems to be "warehouse chic meets garage sale" which sounds kewl but it's not. The doorman graciously opens the door, welcoming you into... A stripped-down warehouse painted in white that feels more like my mom's favorite bedding warehouse circa 2002 than a luxury boutique. The white box vibe is a bit passé and would better fit an art gallery anyway. Unused clothing racks and random stuff lurk in corners and awkwardly hidden behind mirrors, not so chic. The interior design section? Let's just say, like the rest of the space, it could use some interior design. In conclusion, It's a hopeful collection in a hopeless place, proof that you can't judge a book by its cover... or a store by its complete lack of flavor. Love the perfume selection though!
Alessandro B — Google review
If you prefer to have effortless chic, please do visit this store and let the assistant to find suitable clothes for you. They are with good taste and always suggest the clothes which bring you to a nice way instead of that the clothes is wearing you. Some Japanese nice brand can also be found here easily!

Something so simple as having seats in the store to be able to relax. The international selection is a absolutely massive! There are toilets in the building and although there was a turnstile for a 50 cent payment it was turned off on my visit which is a bonus. Meanwhile a really bad place, many shops closed, restrooms closed, but misleading info to the 2nd floor... No atmosphere... Frankfurt train station is more charming... A shame what happened over the years... 😪😪 I still remember the good old times of Karstadt 😘😊😊

It's a nice mall, and it has most things you need, aside a good food court. Now what mostly dissapointed me... it was quite dirty, floors and rails, spilled and sticky, trash in corners and electric stairs; they need to have a more proactive cleaning crew.
Adalberto P — Google review
A really beautiful Mall. Of the best in Berlin. Most of the malls here are kind of lame, they don't have anything special that makes you visit them. Most of the time i buy online, but this Mall, along with a couple others makes the difference. The place is not big enough to make you feel lost, but is big enough to have nice stores, a good variety and also good places to snack. During Christmas there are some kiosks that sell candies and hot beverages. The Christmas decoration is also very nice.

Modulor is a paradise for art and craft enthusiasts, offering a vast selection of supplies for various creative projects. From pens, paint, and paper to specialized products for complex endeavors like soap-making, macrame, crocheting, and fabric-dying, the store has it all. It's a haven for arts lovers, architecture students, DIY enthusiasts, and sewing aficionados. Modulor boasts an extensive range of sketchbooks, notebooks, writing implements as well as greeting cards.
It's the most beautiful and complete stationery I've ever seen in my life. I want to live there 😂 Do you want tape? There are 500 of every color, Do you want paper? There are thousands of textures, Need some inspiration? There is a small section with art and design books for all ages, Got questions? You walk up to the staff and they are really nice and help you with product recommendations for your project in mind. In my case, I barely speak a little German, they gave me guidance in English, and suggested a more suitable and cheaper product than the one I was going to take. That's the best service! When they don't try to convince you to wear the most expensive, but the best one !

Fantastic art shop with an unbelievably varied range of stock. I always find stuff I didn't even know you could buy and end up spending way more than intended. I could happily spend several days just wandering about, looking.

Is Modulor the best art shop in the world? Maybe! Requires a visit each time in Berlin, three floors of ideas and high quality stationary and art materials. Any project can find materials here, as well as gifts and inspiration.

It's an amazing place for creative souls and workers are also very helpful. Pets are also allowed, so I really enjoy to go there and take the time I need with my doggie. The only thing, be prepared for spend some money because their prices are not cheap, but they have a great quality. They have also lot of workshops that worth to try it.

Modulor is the place for Creators and artists. It is an amazing visual and artistic experience; a DIY heaven. The store has everything you need or could even imagine to have. (Read Full Review) You can find everything from painting to crafts and 3D printing. Besides the products they also offer services like cutting or printing to facilitate your DIY projects. There are also incredible furniture for sale in there! Due to the huge selection on 2 floors it is sometimes hard to find exactly what you are looking for but staff is friendly and can help you. The prices are a bit expensive but they reflect on the quality of everything. That’s said, A very interesting and good place for finding art supplies as well as some hardware for your home. the staff is super helpful and friendly. This wonderful store is split over multiple levels packed with an incredibly comprehensive selection of art supplies and stationery. Whether you draw, sketch, etch, print, sculpt or anything in between, you'll find what you need at Modulor. They have a wide range of things available that you can also check on their website before visiting the shop. 100% recommend visiting this place even if it is just to walk around, it’s a nice day visit. You can find almost everything that you would imagine to start your arts project, I like that it has all range of arts and colours: textile, porcelain, painting (oil, acrylic, gouashe), metals, and many others. Also, sewing essentials but no fabrics. Candle making essentials, clay, wood, models materials, you name it. A great place to spend your afternoon. A must go to in Berlin

Great trainer shop in Berlin. I've ordered many times online and was good to finally visit the store. Great selection of my favourite trainer brand Adidas and other top selling brands. Limited edition Adidas A-ZX series was in store as well as clothing on the floor above. If you're a fan of Adidas and you are in Berlin, definitely worth a visit. Easy to get to using the Underground or buses.

I'm a New Yorker living in Germany with that being said: This is probably one of coolest sneaker boutiques I have ever been to. The selection is amazing. The staff was polite. The store lived up to the hype. There was a second floor but I never made it up that far as there was so much to choose from on the first floor. It was worth going.

Two full walls of sneakers. You need a moment to go thought it while going through the other cool people. The other two walls are full of sprays, also a big visual impact. Upstairs is mens fashion but honestly I would buy there for me specially oversized sweaters. Is a nicely curated shop with interesting selection of brands.

Finally got the chance to visit this place. I’m an online customer of Overkill for 3 years already. They always have nice sneakers that I want and able to deliver to Finland too. The shop is packed with customers (on the men’s side). Really tall sneakers wall and a lot of brands and colors to choose from. I think all crews at Overkill can speak English, I had a chat with one crew at Overkill Women and he recommended me to avoid the store area during new year’s eve since it is like warzone. After some more chat with other Berliners, his advice is sound. The area is a warzone during new year’s eve.

4 months ago I bought some NIKE sneakers at the OVERKILL store in Schlesischer Tor (Berlin-Germany) and the product is defective, I made a claim with the Overkill consumer service, and they didn’t want to take care of the problem, they have also called me stupid telling me that I misuse my snikers. I have sent them pictures of my problem and they have ignored them. I am completely disappointed since this place had been recommended to me, I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN, the products are fake, they are not original. All my life I have used the Nike brand and I had no problem. It is impossible for some snikers to break in 4 months of use. I am very angry with overkill, don’t consume in their place because if they have a problem nobody will help them and they will treat them like fools. The way they treat their customers is unfortunate. I will never go back to this place again!! --------------------- Respond a overkill: Good morning: Yes, they treated me stupid, of not knowing how to use the shoes, when I kindly explained to them in all my emails that the shoes were new and I had worn them a few times. In all the emails they excused themselves by saying that they were misused, what misuse can be given to a shoe just by walking? It is illogical what they say. And I say that the products are false because they would not let me make the claim at NIKE and they did not want to provide me with my invoice, which is MY OBLIGATION TO HAVE IT to make the claim to the Nike factory since you were insistent on NOT making the claim at Nike . In the end I made the complaint to Nike, I sent them the SAME photos as you and they immediately replied that they were wrong from the factory and they gave me new ones for FREE with shipping included, THAT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE. That is why I think that the quality of customer service is bad, they should take care of the customer, not only because of the purchases one makes but also because of the recommendation, many of my friends used to buy in their store, which they will no longer do because of my problem and your disinterested responses. Worst of all, you did not lose money since you later claimed with your provider and they changed much easier and you did not lose customers or make your brand look bad.
Florencia B — Google review
Nice sweaters but they were REALLY expensive, like 350€ a piece. Overall, all the clothes are pretty much overpriced. But it's a nice place and they have this cool spray-paint cans wall.

Coffee shop
Nestled in a historic pharmacy building from 1892, Winterfeldt Schokoladen is a delightful chocolate haven located in the vibrant district of Schoneberg. This charming café has transformed its antique drawers and cabinets into showcases for an impressive array of chocolates, pastries, and sweet delights from renowned brands like Pralus and Venchi. The menu features not only exquisite pralines but also tempting treats such as scones with clotted cream, cheesecake, and rich chocolate fondant cake.
I’m visiting from Australia and came here on Saturday on a friend’s recommendation and could not have loved this café more! It has such a wide range of drinks, cakes and chocolates and such a cool vibe. I had the most wonderful waitress, who told me that the building was an old pharmacy and they have really used the space to their advantage with a very cool aesthetic. I ordered the Spanish-style hot chocolate and had never had anything like it before, but it was so delicious - definitely recommend for sweet tooths and chocolate lovers 😍 The blueberry scone and mango cake were also delicious!

Being new to Berlin, we wanted somewhere to enjoy a good coffee and observe city life. This cafe is beautifully placed on a relatively busy corner with wicker chairs and benches outside to sit on, thankfully it also has an awning to deploy during those unexpected rainshowers. It is a relaxed and friendly place to read a book and see how Berliners go about their day. Inside, there is a charming old-world vibe, with low lighting and darkwood furnishings; it's very cosy and full of character. I especially liked the old wood flooring and the thick wooden front door. Of course, they have a high quality selection of coffee, chocolates and cakes. The walnut cake and banana bread, oatmilk cappucino and americano were great, and the drinks come in a variety of colourful crockery. On both days we stayed here, the staff were great, and understood us even though we have hardly any German. This is a great place; if I lived in the neighbourhood I would go there all the time it is so peaceful.

My favorite chocolate store in Berlin! Perfect place to shop for souvenir. You can enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate and pastry here. I had the daily special Winterfeld hot chocolate which was white chocolate with curry, weirdly tasty and aromatic! No laptop on the weekend. There is also a bathroom.

This thrift shop is a goldmine for misfits and rebels. Racks full of worn-in denim, oversized band tees, leather with stories, and boots that’ve seen better stages than most bars. Nothing fake, nothing polished – just raw, real gear for those who don’t follow trends, they burn ‘em down. If your style screams louder than your playlist, this place is your church.

Never seen such a second hand shop. Its simply awsome, cheap and a trip into the 70s, 80s,90s. Pure overload on feelings:-)
Aykut G — Google review
Despite the place being nice, my experience was not good: I bought a pair of sandals just to discover later the left one is smaller than the right, perhaps a defective item- such an article should have not been sold. I went back to ask for the right pair, but they refused to replace it citing that I should have checked the item before buying. Sorry, that's not ok, and the beer offered does not fix the issue. Check your items well!

It's a nice looking store, so I wanted to take a quick video for friends since I was travelling alone but apparently you can't. A staff member loudly and not very kindly told me off. Product range seems pricey for what you get - you could probably find similar brands elsewhere.

I visited The Store X at Soho House Berlin today (31.10), and while previous visits left me with mixed impressions of the service, today was an entirely different experience. The team—a truly professional and attentive guy and girl—were exceptional. They answered my questions with honesty and insight, without any pushy sales tactics, making the entire experience feel refreshingly genuine. It was exactly the caliber of service that elevates this place. Sincere thanks to the team for making this visit such a pleasure! After such an experience, I’ll enjoy wearing my new sweater twice as much. 😊
Kiddo S — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one side it is very tastefully designed and the staff is friendly. On the other hand it seems a bit trying too hard; possibly more the customers it caters to than the store itself. In their selection I would have wished for something more creative, unique that doesn’t come right out of fashion catalogues, but then, maybe then I am at the wrong place in a Concept store.
M4rtin — Google review
This place has a great vibe and the music is immaculate. Great choice if you also want to grab a coffee. It is overpriced but if you’re okay with that, I truly recommend it for studying or working. I also tried the chocolate tart and it was mediocre at best….for 6€ I’m expecting sth more.

This is a scam rather than a real Amazon. I have applied 3 months ago with amazon in Bochum and yesterday in Amazon warehouse in Werne. After applying there(based on German Regulation for Western Balkan countries paragraph 26) I did send the papers to Ausländerbehörde and they approved it. After that they are telling me:" we do not have available appointments to sign the contract" and now because of them I have been given the last warning from Ausländerbehörde(Office for Immigration and Integration) quote:" you have been unsuccessful to establish a new work agreement and you must leave Germany within 4 weeks plus an re-entry ban in Germany(Schengen area)". Please guys, do not apply or even think to apply for this scamming company in Germany! I have been calling them hundreds of times and they only read the same pre-written sentence over and over again. If you cannot find a better job go collect pfand but, NEVER EVEN THINK OF APPLYING FOR AMAZON WAREHOUSE JOBS IN GERMANY! Maybe the law only applies to the poor people not to the rich ones even in Germany!

Truly a great place if you want a high quality collection of very original vintage items. Prices are great considering the quality & brands in the shop. Don’t expect bargains, go here for amazing hand picked and curated items. Super friendly staff as well!

One of my favorite vintage stores in the city. The curation is amazing and you can really find super unique pieces here. Prices are a little high sometimes and the only thing that i really don’t like is the fact that there is no mirrors in the changing rooms so you have to walk into the store to take a look at what you’re trying on. Apart from that it’s obvious a lot of time and effort goes into this place ❣️

Actually, my favorite thrift store in Berlin. The owner and staff are so sweet and helpful and they always have an incredible collection of very thoughtful pieces. You can tell that there is so much love and care both with regards to the selection of inventory and the environment of the store. I always feel welcome here and every time I visit Berlin I end up buying at least 6-8 pieces for my wife and collect some goodies for myself along the way :)
Charles R — Google review
I love these selections!! Although I wish it was a little cheaper. spent so much money here🥹

I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I’ve had. A shop assistant interrupted my friend and me to question where I had taken a jacket from, insisting it hadn’t been put out. I felt awkward asking if I could even buy it. Eventually, another person (likely the owner) confirmed I could. The assistant never apologized and even asked another staff member to hold the bag so she could place the jacket inside, which felt unnecessarily demeaning. The counter was also full of alcohol, and when my friend asked if there was an event, the assistant snapped, “It’s just Friday.” Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, almost as if customers were intruding on a private gathering rather than being valued in a retail store. The attitude of the staff was strange and unprofessional, and I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I was mostly browsing the accessories section, and they have a truly beautiful, well-curated collection of vintage, mostly custom, jewellery. It’s on the pricier side, but you’ll find unique pieces there, each with its own story — and the staff are happy to share those tales. I enjoyed the visit, even if the items were beyond my personal budget.

Rather expensive. Defeats the concept of sustainable fashion since many big brands offer much lower prices. If you have money to spend, their goods are in top condition and you just might find something special, with a bit of luck. The store is really small and only has a few racks of clothes. They also sell some accessories. One star because I left empty-handed.

In this airy, not overcrowded store you’ll find plenty of clothing and accessories from local designers. the sales associate was so rude and arrogant for no reason. bouncing other people at the door and being very unfriendly with my friend who spent a lot of money there. think the store is too expensive to be rude as a sales associate. gave one extra star because i know she wasn’t the owner and the owner usually is really friendly.

Potsdamer Platz, once a bustling square before World War II, fell into disrepair due to the ravages of war. However, after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War, it experienced a revival with companies like Sony and Daimler establishing their headquarters there. Additionally, cultural attractions such as the Deutsche Kinemathek museum and Theater am Potsdamer Platz contributed to its rejuvenation.
It's one of my favourite spaces in Berlin. It's modern. It looks into the future. Buildings are astonishing, interesting mix of architectural genres. This place hosts so many events. Berlinale is an annual one where Berlin transforms in a star venue. Very beautiful at night!

We had a great time visiting the Berlin Wall exhibit near Bahnhof Potsdamer Platz. It was a powerful and educational experience, especially sharing it with the kids. Seeing the actual remnants of the Wall sparked some meaningful conversations about history, freedom, and unity. The displays around the site are very informative, with photos and facts that helped us understand the significance of this area during the Cold War. We learned how Potsdamer Platz was once a desolate “no-man’s land” and is now a vibrant part of the city — such a striking transformation! It’s a quick stop, but packed with history. A great way to introduce kids to this important piece of the past while enjoying all the excitement Berlin has to offer nearby. Highly recommend!

Rausch Schokoladenhaus is a sophisticated chocolatier that proudly claims to be the world's largest chocolate shop. It offers over 250 unique chocolate creations, including bonbons, truffles, and bars made from quality beans sourced from various regions. The store also boasts the longest praline counter on Earth. Visitors can indulge in an array of delectable treats at the in-house cafe while sipping on creamy hot chocolate and enjoying freshly made desserts.
This will always be one of my favorite places in Berlin. The ambiance is delightful, infused with the aromas of love and chocolate. The menu offers a wonderful variety of options at reasonable prices. They provide an assortment of cold chocolate drinks, cafés, and hot chocolate, allowing you to customize the bitterness and type of chocolate to suit your preference. The flavors are exceptional, and the desserts are truly outstanding. Additionally, the service is both elegant and attentive, making for a memorable dessert experience.
Rebeca K — Google review
I tried the handmade chocolates. They were quite good. However, I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever eaten at. The fillings were very flavorful. Atmosphere is very nice. Especially the first floor is one of the best chocolate shops I've ever visited. Although the chocolates were great, I decided to give it 4 stars in comparison to Neuhaus.
Yusuf E — Google review
It was really nice — there were many different types of chocolate, and the bar on the top floor was also good. I gave it 4 stars because we had to wait about 30–40 minutes in line before getting two free seats. I also missed having windows for better air circulation. The prices were reasonable, and both the hot chocolate and the small chocolates were good.
Evelin H — Google review
We had a fantastic visit here. Not to be missed. This is a chocolate shop, a chocolate factory dedicated to the art of true chocolate, and a wonderful cafe on the top floor where exemplary coffee is served to accompany some beautiful chocolate desserts. Not overpriced like some I have been to but still easy to spend a few euros easily as the temptations are omnipresent. Service in all areas was super and we delighted in the experience. You need to book the cafe to get a seat.
The A — Google review
One of the best chocolateries out there. I went to buy souvenirs and a little something for me to try. It is a bit pricey I won't lie BUT the quality and taste is totally worth the price. You can either buy boxes with fixed chocolate in or pick what you want from a huge selection they have.
Popi M — Google review
This chocolate store is an absolute gem! The sheer variety of products on display will leave you in awe. If you have the time, it’s worth making a visit. However, selecting a selection can be overwhelming if you’re not a sweet tooth. What truly sets this store apart are the chocolate figures that beautifully capture some of Berlin’s historical landmarks. Even if you don’t have time to sit and enjoy their café, I highly recommend it. I’ve tried a few of their chocolates so far, and they’re absolutely delicious!
Anand — Google review
great place for hot chocolate (esp dark of upto 80%), we tried their 70-75% dark Ecudor and Costa Rica. Wierdly Ecuador 70 was bitter comparatively, but it was both thick and rich. However they could be a tad bit sweeter, costed close to 4.80e for one cup Staff are very kind and friendly, I love love love their choco lava cake (this is only available in their cafè upstairs) and kitchen closes by before or around 7ish, so best to check before going in (also has toilet if you need) Variety chocolate packs, great gift ideas and selection to buy from
Karthika N — Google review
There are a lot of chocolate varieties. You will definitely find something to but if you are chocolate lover. There are also two cafes. The one at the top floor has a queue and you need to wait to enter. The one at the basement is a small one, you can sit outside or inside with a few fast sitting options. Maybe I went there with high expectation, but I found this place a bit overrated. The brownie I had at the basement cafe and taste of choclates didn't impress me very much.

Rogacki is a 90-year-old deli located in Charlottenburg, Berlin. It offers a wide selection of local and imported seafood, meats, and cheeses. The bustling indoor market is known for its fresh and smoked fish, particularly herring. The store has a nostalgic feel with beaming attendants in green uniforms behind rows of sparkling vitrines filled with prepared produce.
It's been a Berlin institution since 1928, and one of the only places I'll buy fish from in the city. Go stand at a table and eat some fried fish and potato salad while looking at all the old photos on the wall.

Jadwiga U — Google review
I want to give two kinds of ratings: the delicatessen is top quality, if you're shopping for good meats and seafood this place has fresh produce well prepared in different ways. If you're trying the cooked food however, I'd skip the 'recommended' fried fish fillet and try the other types of cuisines. The fried fish wasn't as 'fresh' tasting or flaky like I like it. It was tough and tasted rubbery. The smoked or baked seafood looked amazing though and I'd want to try those next time.

Nestled in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg on Oderberger Strasse, Bonanza Coffee Heroes has been a staple in Berlin's coffee scene since 2006. Known for its site-roasted beans with a distinct fruity flavor, this cozy spot is revered by third-wave coffee enthusiasts. The intimate space offers an ideal setting to savor their renowned cortado and flat white, both infused with cherry notes.
Fantastic cappuccino – great taste, perfect consistency, and good latte art. The ambiance is lovely, with a nice outdoor seating area. The pastries looked amazing and super tempting. Specialty coffee done right! Will definitely come back. 5/5.
Dennis U — Google review
The flatwhite was tasty, right on point, the Colombian beans never dissappoint. And it was 4€, which is very reasonable for being in Berlin, although the cup was smaller than other shops. The atmosphere was nice and well ventilated (inside), as well as a nice outdoor seatings. It was crowded, and I had to wait for quite a bit, but there were still some seats left. I had to order a takeaway though since I was short on time. Staffs were efficient in handling the orders. They seemed a bit rushed and impatient in the services, but its totally understandable due to the ammount of orders they have to process. Overall good.
K. M — Google review
Coffee was good. I had a flat white. Also got a peanut butter cookie, which was delicious. There were a lot of people hanging around outside when I went (3pm on a Sunday) but not many people sitting inside. There was a queue to order. Staff seemed a little stressed and overwhelmed with how busy it was.

We stopped for coffee after strolling Mauerpark flee market, one of the best coffees we had in Berlin, nice service and lovely rustic atmosphere.
Tali M — Google review
Bonanza! It’s a coffee shop near Mauerpark. Vibe is different, I would say - a very “berlinish” place. Different vibe but it suits a place very well. Interiors are not so glamorous, but shabby. There is some old smell like in a grandma’s apartment. Looks like there wasn’t a big investment in that place it all. It has a toilet which is small and clean. For some tourists it could be important and for locals as well. Besides that - it’s Bonanza. Great coffee and service as always.
Serge A — Google review
Usually I always come for the cascara soda (which btw is such gift to us not being able to tolerate too much caffeine) anyhow this time around i decided to try the iced latte, and wow! Not the biggest coffee fan but it was so delicious 😋 also they have double shots in all their drinks?! Definitely worth it!!
Ebba M — Google review
Coffee is nice but the wait times are atrocious IMO (10+ minutes for one coffee). Maybe just on the weekends, I don't know.
Joseph D — Google review
I had an iced filter coffee and a peanut butter cookie. I thought the iced filter was nothing special, but you can’t expect too much from a filter. That said, I have had filter coffee at other venues where the bean selected had some really impressive flavour profiles. I thought the peanut butter cookie I had was quite good - it was moist and the peanut flavour was present. I liked the atmosphere outside, it was lively, with a bunch of people sitting around chatting. It was really nice on a sunny day.

The square is also home to an eco-friendly Christmas market with sustainable and fair-trade vendors offering ecological gifts and traditional holiday snacks made with fresh ingredients from local farms.

LOVED this area. It's a very popular "kiez" in Berlin (kiez is a Berliner term for specific neighborhood within a neighborhood). Felt very local, non-touristy, with lots of families, restaurants, parks, and on Thursdays (when I was there) and Saturdays, it hosts a very popular outdoor organic market. Also, it's the neighborhood where artist Kathe Kollwitz lived and worked. NOTE: the very same Kathe Kollwitz who will be the subject of a major show at MoMA next year.

Really beautiful store with expensive albeit well-made homeware. Customer service could be improved, as it felt I was shopping around the staff stocking the shelves and not the other way around. Also, one of the cashiers was rude on several occasions. However, upon filing a complaint, the rude behavior was promptly acknowledged and addressed by management.

The client service is very easy to reach out to, they were helpful and understanding, excused for a slightly damaged article we wanted to return, and offer a replacement service as well, plus some customization option to the preset furniture that comes in a bundle with some additional elements. We could have chosen another color of one of the elements for example, available as a separate article. They also organise the collection of the returned (heavy) goods from home by DHL. The website could be organised a bit better with the cross references to the products, as for example it was not obvious to find some accessories to our order related to the Container DS. But eventually when digging in the website, we have found what we were looking for. For now I am very satisfied with the service and have designed all my hallway with the beautiful Containers DS.

The original store in Berlin and in its most famous street! Prices vary from some quite reasonable and favorable for certain items to some expensive ones (such as children's clothes). The store is actually a souvenir shop with the theme of Ampelman, the famous little man who has been adorning Berlin's traffic lights for decades.

Gl U — Google review
Ampelmann Store in Berlin offers a distinctive slice of Berlin’s east-meets-west history through its iconic traffic light figure. Choosing Ampelmann as the ambassador for this review captures not just a souvenir shop, but a playful nod to the city’s divided past and its cheerful present.First impressions are bright and whimsical. The shop layout often centers around various Ampelmann motifs— mugs, keychains, postcards, and plush figures—each item radiating a sense of playful nostalgia. The branding feels authentic, staying true to the character’s charm without veering into kitsch, which makes it appealing to both locals and visitors. As a visitor, the experience is more than just shopping. It’s a small cultural moment: a reminder of Berlin’s history presented in a lighthearted, accessible way. The staff typically balance friendly hospitality with a knowledge of merchandise, offering quick recommendations if you’re hunting for the perfect gift or keepsake. If a purse-friendly souvenir is on the list, the store generally provides a good range of prices, enabling options for different budgets while still delivering items with personality. For anyone curious about Berlin’s unique narrative through a simple, tangible symbol, Ampelmann Store provides a memorable, tactile connection to the city.

Shakespeare & Sons - Fine Bagels is a charming English-language bookstore with a cafe that offers an array of bagels, as well as delectable cakes and cookies. The store boasts a carefully curated book selection, making it a delightful place to browse and discover new titles. Originally established in Prague's Vrsovice neighborhood, the bookstore has since expanded to Berlin, offering visitors the opportunity to escape the city chaos and immerse themselves in literature while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
What? A free coffee? Got three books and a surprise freebie. Mostly new books, plus a few shelves of used ones. I appreciate the lap-top free zone in the back.
Handan B — Google review
Known for its fine and innovative bagels, though better known as a book-joint in Berlin. S&S, as it is located quite close to Frankfurter Tor or S-Warschauer Str. and often gets crowded, and I confirm that it is! People visit here for various purposes—killing time, meeting people, buying books, having brunch, or simply bagel lovers, or just stopping by. The place is tidy and has a well structured; nevertheless, people sometimes fail to understand simple instructions. I enjoyed my time here; I came alone and spent good quality time. If you want to use a laptop, you can, but only in the bar area. I ordered coffee and cake; I am not a bagel fan; maybe next time. The staff are quite friendly and hardworking.
Avi S — Google review
Shakespeare & Sons is a mix of bookstore and cafe that works perfectly. The shelves are packed with books in English and other languages, so it’s easy to get lost browsing. At the same time, the cafe serves some of the best bagels in Berlin. They’re chewy, fresh, and come with plenty of topping options, making them a meal on their own. Pair one with a coffee and you’ve got a simple but satisfying stop. The atmosphere is casual and lively, with people working, locals reading, and travelers dropping in. The backstory adds to the charm: the owner once worked at Shakespeare & Co. in Paris, and this shop carries that spirit forward in Berlin. It’s not just a café or a bookstore, it’s a place where food, books, and community come together. A must visit if you enjoy both bagels and browsing.
Dan M — Google review
I was so eager to go to this bookstore & bagel café right next to U Frankfurter Tor. They have a wide variety of bagels to choose from and plenty of other baked goods. Everything tasted quite nice, the service is excellent and the staff are all really kind and friendly. The atmosphere is calming making this great place to work, write, or read. This place has a great selection of English books for sale for every age, I ended up picking up a classic. Overall, great experience.

Warm and lively atmosphere, though a bit crowded and not especially cozy. The bagel selection is a bit simple, but the real charm lies in the book selection.

I've been meaning to go here for a while and finally did today with a friend. It's a really nice cafe/bagel/bookstore. I got the turkey sandwich and it was nice, tried a bite of my friends chive cream cheese bagel and it was amazing, I'll definitely get that one next time. The iced latte and chocolate chip salty cookie we're both amazing. There's a little second hand section in the back and a nice assortment of new books. It's a cute place

I loved it! I couldn’t exactly stay because of how packed it was. The cafe has a wide selection of books and a good menu too.

Bookstore with adjacent Coffee & Bagels. Great athmosphere, diverse crowd and the usual Berlin eccentrics;) Came on a Sunday for Brunch, pretty long line and place was packed. Authentic Bagels, fresh and made on location, with wide asortment of schmers from the usual avocado & pastrami but including "specials" with cutney and the goat cheese. Arrive early, to avoid crowds, but great place for the weekend !

Acne Studios Potsdamer Straße is a high-end fashion house offering upscale clothing, footwear, and accessories for both men and women. The store features a sleek and modern design with a minimalist vibe that the brand is known for. It offers an extensive collection of Acne Studios pieces along with other luxury streetwear labels. The staff is described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating without being pushy.
The store is super sleek and modern, with that minimalist vibe Acne is known for. It’s very well laid out, so you can easily browse without feeling overwhelmed—there’s plenty of space to really take in the collection. The staff is really friendly and helpful, but they’re also super chill and not pushy at all. They’re more than happy to offer advice or help with sizing, but you can also just enjoy browsing at your own pace.

I visited the store in early January and it was one of the nicest shopping experiences I’ve had in Berlin! Nelson, the sales associate, was so kind, chatty and super helpful, it really made my day. Loving the scarf that I bought also :) I look forward to returning in the future.

It was my favorite shop in whole Germany. For three years. Now I’m very sorry to tell about my total disappointment that I felt when I’ve visited Acne store today. I’ve seen that staff is absolutely don’t care about the client (me). I didn’t see any interest in helping me, and senior manager was rude and I would suggest the right word… arrogant. Which is absolute inappropriate. I never seen such behaviour in fashion store (slash boutiks). I was about to buy accessories and bag but I left with nothing because I don’t want to communicate with unprofessionals. Something deeply has changed in a store after last three years.

Went to look around and get a better understanding of the sizing. And the sales associate was honestly the most helpful and kind person ever. I went there with my partner and got to chatting and it was such a nice experience. When I am get my new jacket I am definitely going back to order it in person instead of online.

I’m changing my 5 star review to a 10 star review about the wonderful service I’ve received here today! Each time I’m visiting the store I’m getting the attention I need as a costumer and whenever I need an fashion advice I know I’ll find myself only at acne! Today, I came with a damaged t shirt I’ve bought last month from a big luxury boutique here in Berlin (big mistake) and the manager was so wonderful and exchanged the damaged t shirt for me after in the boutique they didn’t want to get it done and found 1000 excuses to refuse to assist me. I got welcomed by the team and got the greatest assistance even, I was hopeless and thought my shirt will stay da manger but acne as always never disappoints and provided me all what I needed, the manager in the acne store made me realize that I’ll never purchase anywhere except in the acne stores itself. Thanks again and sending love!! See you soon ;)

Unprofessional salesperson gave my an unforgettable shopping experience!!! When I was there trying clothes, she kept saying ‘ be careful to our clothes’ to me, it seemed like if I tried on, the clothes would get broken by me. And she kept saying that several times, I couldn’t feel any respect to customer from her. She didn’t answer my requests rightly, and also did understand what I wanted, and also didn’t wanna me try anything when there was still 15 mins till closed. I bought every year over ten thousand of euros from this store and never met such a salesperson! I love Acne well and had very good experiences before, but now it is totally changed. There is also a negative comment recently, I hope your company could read our comments and gave us a solution.

Super nice staff, stock is limited but acceptable.

Each visit to Acne Studios on Potsdamer Straße leaves me with the same impression: an inspiring, beautifully arranged space that perfectly showcases its pieces. The staff consistently strike the right balance, intuitively understanding clients and their needs, creating a comfortable atmosphere that I genuinely appreciate.
