The museum wasn’t in English you had to book a tour guide for that. The museum also included many languages such as Kurdish! Which as a Kurdish person I very adore

The experience overall was pretty nice. The history was pretty interesting, and I personally loved the fact that there are little fountains that let people taste the water like it was back in the day. The stuff was very friendly, but we got a little confused with the directions. We asked multiple times where the start was, and we never got a clear answer. Long story short, we started from the end, and we finished at the start. The ticket costs 8€ and I think it was 4€ plus if you want to have the little device that explains everything during the experience. It was pretty good for 1 time but not a must, in my opinion.

This is a definite visit if you are in the area. Opportunity to relax and reflect in an old old historical building. They supply a good range of language guides -a donation can be given too.I normally hold Churches as cold however this building really ‘talked’to me -to calm down. I believe ‘this life’ is Heaven, we are all experts so we think! but we are all very lucky that we are a part of a Planet just the correct distance from a burning Planet that allows the very essence of life -atmosphere/water/temperature -someone might have had a hand in this ??!!

Very nicely refurbished water tower located in the city center. It's actually a museum (and used for events), not just a viewpoint. Some of the floors have exhibits on water usage. Dogs welcome! 5 eur per person. Great views of the city and surrounding area. Highly recommend. Little gift shop at the entrance.

Amazing Lüneburg view from here. The water tower is very well preserved, inside it is very nice information and machines you can try. You take the elevator up. Worth seeing if you have time.

A very cool piece of history, with an even greater view at the top. Being able to see the beautiful 1300s architecture around Lüneburg is worth the €5. The staff were super nice, and despite the language barrier was able to help direct us. The content of the exhibits are mostly in German, but don’t let that deter you if you don’t speak it. The 4th floor speaks for itself, and if you really are interested in the words they’re very clear and easy to translate with an app. I did not expect to start my trip falling in love with a water tower, but it is worth making an effort to see if you’re around Lüneburg (30 minute train from Hamburg 100% worth the trip)

The Krone is a traditional German restaurant. 5 of us were there yesterday for dinner. The food was good. The service was not. After the salad as a starter, we waited 1 hour for the main course. That was not the worst part though. When I suggested to the waiter that things seemed to be pretty busy and that we had a deadline, he responded by saying that we had had a salad after all. It seems that they don't use trained waiters at this restaurant. Later, as I was paying, he told me that if I had a deadline, I should say so when I order. I almost felt obliged to apologize. If they really had a mix up in the kitchen, why wouldn't the waiter simply say "I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. I'll check up on the kitchen." and leave it at that?

After your visit to the Prussian Museum, this is the perfect stop for lunch. The snitzel was really good and the gravy made with beer was delicious. They have options of beers without alcohol and the flavor is good.

Very cosy place with great beer, decent service and food. Went their for lunch and ordered the Schnitzel with eggs as well as the one with Mushroom sauce. Both were very good, would definitely recommend this place and will be looking forward for out next visit.

I dined here on July 29, 2022. The food was nothing special. My mini frikadellen were somewhat dried during pan frying. My pfannenschlag was too salty and the potatoes had some burned pieces. They charged me for the bread. The beer was 4.20 for .4 litter. I found it to be an average place, and I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is looking for German cooking.

The restaurant has amazing location near by the river, and it is a big one. As you can see from the pictures they have nice view and atmosphere. The staff was very warm, friendly and quick service. They serve Lavazza coffee and the cakes were fantastic, and also normal prices. Strongly recommend and if I have the chance I would definitely visit it again!

Great place with seasonal menu and excerpt tasting pallet. It’s been a while since we had gastronomic experience and with FRIEDAs promise of a seasonal dishes we wanted to have a long deserved treat. My husband was over the moon with his crispy skin duck with orange souse and I had a variety of starters. For me, the star was pumpkin soup in an espresso cup :) Very rich taste with creamy feeling. Deserts were the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, my hot gooey chocolate cake should be a bit more gooey but the home made egg liquor was great. Dear owners, make sure that you watch what music is playing, it was not always relaxing :) Overall - very nice experience, recommend!

Annas is located in a very nice street in Lüneburg, with the possibility to either sit inside or outside, we went there to have breakfast and it was very full so we had to sit outside, i liked the idea of the Menus which is basically kid's story books with the Menu taped on it, found it very interesting! We ordered two latte macchiatos and one of them was only filled halfway through, so i had to tell the waitress and she was kind enough fix the issue! The staff was very polite. Although the Café was extremely full and they did try their best to offer a good service, they still made a mistake with our food, which is no problem, i mean it happens right!? The reason why I only give three stars is because i expected a better experience overall, I mean regarding food for example, presentation wise it looks absolutely amazing, but I must say that the portions are small for the price you pay to get them, so overall it's hard for me to recommend this place ( if you want to have breakfast of course ), i might go again just to try the Cakes though ( I've heard they are good! )

I’ll start with the positive. Amazing place, the service and attention was impeccable, the sommelier made a great wine recommendation and the food was good. Only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because we ordered a medium cooked steak, and we received an almost well done.

I am so picky & rarely leave a review of a restaurant unless it’s perfection or horrible. This place is perfection. Kudos to the chef & owners. The staff is amazing and the food is to die for from starters, right through dessert & drinks. Our server Reuben was helpful, attentive and a pleasure. To start, I had the artichoke & my husband had the venison liver pate. Incredible. For main, I had the best fish & chips EVER. My husband had the wild boar loin & he said it was excellent. We ended with Orange crème brûlée that was out of this world. Danke to the chef for a memorable meal & to Reuben for the best service. I’ll end with the atmosphere & view being so beautiful.

Beatiful restaurant with great food. The interior is red brick decorated with objects that give safari / hunter's lodge wibe but done in a cool modern way. The kitchen on the ground floor is open to all to see. R&B music on the speakers, disco ball in the toilets - really great combination of old and new. The dishes were kind of the same - fresh, simple, well known but served/ prepared differently. The catch of the day was melting in the mouth, deer (that our waitress said, was shot by the shef, which could have been a joke, but also very likely 😁) soft (though in my husband's opinion cooked a bit too long), chesnut ice cream/chocolate mouse dessert - great finish to a great meal. Highly recommend!

This convent is about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of town, depending how fast you walk. When you get to a road called Bockelmannstrabe, cross over to a bike path that will take you directly to the convent. Ther's a small cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Great selection of cakes, coffee and ice cream! The atmosphere is very relaxed. There's also a fairly big playground for the children with a seating area. There's also a small made made lake filled with ducks who you are not allowed to feed!! Great place to jog and go for a run or walk. Public toilet also available. The park is very well maintained.

Kurpark is a place to go to regardless of weather. It's a nice park to take walks in, get some exercises in, play games, just hang out or also listen to concerts. It has a designated area for dogs to have free play.
