Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a massive amusement park that boasts impressive aquariums, animal shows, and exhibits suitable for visitors of all ages. The resort's main attraction is its extraordinary aquarium featuring rare marine life such as whale sharks, beluga whales, and polar bears. Additionally, themed zones offer the chance to get up close with exotic animals and enjoy thrilling rides. Visitors can also look forward to theater shows, float parades, and a spectacular fireworks display.
Probably one of the most iconic theme park in the world. At first you don’t really know if it’s an aquarium or an amusement park but it’s all combined. Such a wonderful place. Animals seem to be well treated. Aquariums are phenomenal. Rides are really impressive and cool. Food is not the best but ok. The water show is great.

Only few staff can speak in English. Almost people here are Chinese. Please beware your space when you are in the queue. The place is very good, clean and comfortable to visit. All payments are available by Alipay but quite expensive. The show in the night is very amazing but please don't open your space between your group, some Chinese people may insert their body in front of you.

Best aquarium so far I visited. This place even crowded in weekday due to student fieldtrip. Don’t expect you get sanctuary time to enjoy the animal exhibit, but after all they have many show like beluga, pink dolphin, sealion, polar bear , etc. Many Food truck and souvenir store. Their hotel is beautiful too

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, a part of the Chimelong International Ocean Resort, is located in Hengqin District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Dubbed as the "Orlando of China", the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is the world’s largest ocean-theme fairyland including 8 theme areas. Visitors can see many kinds of rare marine animals including more than 15,000 fish, and challenge the longest roller coaster in the world. This is also an especially family-friendly park that children can experience. Ocean Avenue is at the entrance to the Zhuhai Ocean Kingdom. Behind the giant Manta Ray sculpture, it is a giant LED screen showing various animals in the deep sea world, and the avenue is lined with shops for visitors to eat or buy souvenirs. Visitors can take Shuttle Buses from Macau, Hong Kong International Airport, Zhuhai Jinwan International Airport, Zhuhai Railway Station, Jiuzhou Port, Guangzhou Chimelong Hotel to ChimeLong Resort. Adult ticket range from 400 CNY to 450 depending on weekdays or weekends. Tickets are cheaper when bought online.

Been to a few themed parks and aquarium in my lifetime and all have been pretty good 😊 but this one really impressed me even more than I expected. So much to see and do, even at my grand old age, I was still excited by the shows and entertainment dotted around the park. As with most parks in China, try to avoid weekends and any public holidays periods, as it can be extremely busy and long wait times for the shows, highly recommended

Mentioned on

Meixi Royal Stone Archways Tourism Zone is a vast complex that combines traditional Chinese architecture with Western decorative style. The site features a park, museum, former residence of Chen Fang, garden, and cemetery. Visitors can explore exhibits, enjoy performances, and even participate in workshops to purchase souvenirs. While the English explanations are limited, the experience is still worthwhile for those who understand Mandarin.
It's a huge complex with moderate English explanation about the Chen Clan Family. Entrance is rather expensive at RMB65 for adults and RMB30 for students. However, it would be worth it if you know Mandarin. There was a calligraphy master at the compound when we visited. He did a calligraphy scroll for each of our names. The complex was quite empty with only a few families here and there.

The path up the mountain from Bailiandong Park is mainly stone steps. The climbing height is about 150 meters. It will cause breathlessness and difficulty. Macau Island, a former Portuguese colony, is renowned for its blend of Moorish architecture and cobblestone streets juxtaposed with extravagant casinos. Often dubbed as 'the Vegas of the orient,' Macau offers more than just flashy gambling venues. The city boasts a unique culinary scene that fuses Portuguese and Chinese influences, creating the distinct Macanese cuisine.
This country captured our hearts. We’ll definitely come back.
Dianne D — Google review
Macau exceeded my expectations with its seamless mix of heritage and modernity. Whether you’re drawn to history, food, or luxury, there’s something for everyone. It’s a city that left me with unforgettable memories, and I would love to visit again.
AJay S — Google review
Macau Island, often referred to as the "Gambling Capital of the World," is a fascinating island blending rich history, vibrant culture, and modern entertainment. This island city is nestled on the southern coast of China, a small renowned territory of China, before surrendering back to China it was part of the Portuguese colony. Here lies a unique fusion of Portuguese and Chinese influences, which is evident in its architecture, cuisine, and traditions. One of the most striking features of Macau is its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Historic Centre. Strolling through the cobblestone streets, visitors can admire the stunning ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, the charming Senado Square, and the colorful A-Ma Temple. These sites not only showcase the island's colonial past but also offer a glimpse into its diverse cultural tapestry. Macau is famous for its world-class casinos, consisting a significant number in total there are about 50 odds in number which attract millions of tourists each year. The Venetian Macao, with its opulent design and gondola rides, is a must-visit for those looking to experience the glitz and glamour of the gaming industry. However, the island offers much more than just gambling. The culinary scene is a highlight, with a plethora of dining options ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to local street food stalls. Be sure to try the iconic egg tarts and Macanese dishes like African chicken and pork chop buns. Beyond the casinos and historical sites, Macau boasts beautiful landscapes, including the serene beaches of Coloane and the scenic hiking trails of the hills. The blend of urban life and natural beauty makes it an ideal destination for all types of travelers. I concludes, that Macau Island is a captivating destination that offers a unique experience combining history, culture, and entertainment. Whether you're exploring its rich heritage, indulging in its culinary delights, or trying your luck at the tables, Macau promises an unforgettable adventure.

It's almost like I'm in Portugal, Lisbon.. Wonderful old place with narrow cobbled streets and shops, restaurants... city sights, museums and of course casinos.
Borislav B — Google review
Macau is a special administrative region (SAR) of China, located on the southern coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. It is known for its vibrant mix of Chinese and Portuguese cultures, as well as its world-famous casinos and resorts. Here are some of the most interesting things to do in Macau: • Visit the Ruins of St. Paul's. This iconic landmark is the facade of a 17th-century church that was destroyed by fire in 1835. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Macau, and offers stunning views of the city. • Gondola ride at The Venetian Macao. This world-famous casino resort has its own canals and gondolas, just like Venice. Take a ride and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. • Try your luck at the casinos. Macau is known as the "Las Vegas of Asia," and its casinos are some of the largest and most luxurious in the world. Even if you're not a gambler, it's worth a visit to see the opulent surroundings. • Visit the Macau Tower. This 338-meter-tall tower offers panoramic views of Macau and the surrounding area. You can also take a thrilling Skywalk or bungy jump from the tower. • Explore the historic center of Macau. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to many well-preserved colonial buildings, as well as temples, churches, and museums. • Visit A-Ma Temple. This is the oldest temple in Macau, and is dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu. It is a popular pilgrimage site for both locals and tourists. • Watch the pandas at the Giant Panda Pavilion. This zoo is home to a pair of giant pandas, as well as other animals such as red pandas, golden monkeys, and Sichuan takins.

🇲🇴 Macau, which was once a Portuguese colony, is a special administrative region of China that is located on the southern coast of China. Casinos, a rich history, and cultural heritage are what set it apart. +There are many luxurious casinos in Macau, including the Venetian Macau, City of Dreams, and MGM Macau, which provide a variety of gambling and entertainment options. +Macau's rich history and cultural heritage are rooted in a blend of Chinese and Portuguese influences. The city is known for its historical landmarks, which include the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and the Macau Museum. +Macau's nightlife has a vibrant atmosphere, and there are numerous bars, clubs, and lounges to select from. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -The influx of people and noise in Macau, especially during peak tourist season, can be overwhelming for some visitors. -Visitors find it challenging to get around in Macau without a car or taxi due to the limited public transportation options. -The extreme heat and humidity make traveling to Macau during the summer/hot season not advisable. The outdoor activities and sightseeing that Macau has to offer can be challenging. -The lack of readily available information about transportation options and places to visit may present challenges for some travelers in Macau. The majority of the population speaks mainly Chinese or Portuguese, but have limited proficiency in English or other widely spoken languages. The language barrier can cause problems when seeking help, asking for directions, or having meaningful interactions with locals. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ◉The ideal time to plan a trip is during the cooler months, such as October to December or January to March. The weather during that time is more enjoyable and accommodating for sightseeing and outdoor pursuits. *Getting to Macau from Hong Kong: There are several modes of transportation available from Hong Kong to Macau, such as: 1/ Ferry is the preferred method of travel between Hong Kong and Macau. The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and the SkyPier at Hong Kong International Airport are among the many ferry terminals in Hong Kong. The ferry journey takes approximately an hour. 2/ Travelers have the option to take a high-speed train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou to Zhuhai, then switch to a bus or taxi to reach Macau. The train ride is about 2-3 hours long. ~~~~ 「Overall, Macau offers a plethora of cultural experiences and attractions to explore.」

(Translated by Google) Bay Bar Street is located on Shuiwan Road in Gongbei. You can go to nearby Lovers South Road and take a walk along the seaside before coming here. The overall atmosphere here is really good. As soon as you step into "Bar Street", you will be attracted by the various unique decoration designs here. The style of the entire bar street is mainly based on Western style, but there are also some modernly designed Oriental restaurants such as Thai and Indian cuisine, bars, cafes, theme restaurants, etc. that combine multi-national cultures and different flavors, and the exotic atmosphere is everywhere. At dusk, when the lanterns first come on, the violin plays melodiously in the wind, and the guitar echoes the tambourine. In the bar under the banyan tree, fashionable people come and go. Here you can feel the freedom and relaxation of life. Choose a special bar you like and sit in the open air. Whether you are hanging out with friends or having fun with your lover, it is full of romantic atmosphere. . I personally like outdoor seating, and almost most of the places here have outdoor seating, so I find it very comfortable.

The figure is wearing a doctor's robe instead of the usual Chinese tunic suit or military uniform, which is very distinctive. (Translated by Google) The word "King Lake" is well known in Macao. It not only represents the doctors' ambition to help the world, but also represents the noble character of Macao people working together to help the world. The history of "King Wu" can be traced back to the Kiang Wu Hospital Charity Association established in 1871. In the early days, the association simply provided relief to the poor or donated coffins for burials. Later, it gradually developed into a hospital (only providing traditional Chinese medicine services) and a volunteer school. According to According to the "Stele Promoting the Construction of Jinghu Hospital", its main purpose is to help Chinese people in need of relief. "Outside the Sanba Gate, the secular world does not invade, sandwiched between two large ridges, it is beautiful and lovely. The ancestors offer sacrifices from the center, and the sacred Si. In silence and tranquility, people who are tired and sick can take advantage of this to live abroad." In 1892, Mr. Sun Yat-sen was invited to serve as a volunteer Western medicine doctor at Jing Wu Hospital, and he pioneered Western medicine in Jing Wu. During the Anti-Japanese War, Jinghu organized rescue teams and opened correctional centers for needy children, which benefited many people. The Kiang Wu Historical Memorial Hall is located in the Kiang Wu Hospital on Lin Sheng Street. It was initiated by the Kiang Wu Hospital Charity Association and was built in 1989. According to the Charity Association, the museum was established to commemorate the achievements of previous virtuous people, admire their good deeds, carry forward their good will, and promote the national spirit. The figure is wearing a doctor's robe instead of the usual Chinese tunic or military uniform, which is very distinctive. In addition, there is a small Chinese-style garden with birds singing and flowers fragrant. On both sides of the main road are the hospital's inscriptions and a plaque engraved with "Zhiguang Xiyi" in the 10th year of Guangxu's reign. It was originally not open to the public, but was later expanded and opened to the public in 2001. After reconstruction, the area was about four times larger than the original area (531 square meters). The museum can be divided into three parts, including the atrium and the right exhibition room. and the left exhibition room. The atrium displays the stone carvings of "Jing Wu Hospital" in 1872, the "Aim to Build the Square" in 1893, the "Stele Promoting the Construction of Jing Wu Hospital", as well as the bust bronze statues of the three late chairman Ho Xian, Ke Lin and Lin Bingyan and various Seals, etc. The right exhibition room mainly displays the development history of hospitals and schools under the Kiang Wu Hospital Charity Association, including the temple-like gate tower of Kiang Wu Hospital in the past. The gate, which weighs several hundred kilograms, is made of teak, giving it a full sense of history. In addition, the room also has medical equipment from the former Kiang Wu Hospital, teaching tools from the Kiang Wu Nursing College founded in 1923, and precious historical photos from various periods, including photos of the Kiang Wu Celebration Meeting on October 10, 1949, and the "Venue Special Issue" of the Celebration Meeting. ", as well as the official seal of the Overseas Chinese Association and other exhibits, are particularly eye-catching. The left exhibition room displays the evolution history of the Charity Society across three centuries, including various plaques, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's handwriting, important documents from the former Kiang Wu Hospital, hospital photos issued by the Governor-General's Office to Kiang Wu Hospital, etc. , extremely precious. In addition to long-term exhibitions, the Kiang Wu Historical Memorial Hall has also held short-term exhibitions. For example, in March 2006, the famous Hong Kong Lingnan painter Zhao Shiguang, who turned 91 years old, was invited by Chairman Ma Manqi of the Macau Kiang Wu Hospital Charity Association to exhibit in the historical exhibition. A "Benefit Exhibition of Famous Paintings by Famous Lingnan Painter Zhao Shiguang" was held in the memorial hall, and a charity sale was held to raise funds for the hospital to purchase new equipment.
