State park
Nature & Parks
Harris Beach State Park, located just north of Brookings, Oregon, is a picturesque state park named after Scottish pioneer George Scott Harris. The park boasts a stunning coastline with rocky outcroppings and sea stacks, as well as Bird Island, the largest island off the Oregon coast and a National Wildlife Refuge that serves as a breeding ground for rare bird species like the tufted puffin.
This place was beautiful! You walk down a green and lush paved walkway surrounded by berry bushes. Then, the walkway turns to a dirt walkway full of roots and stones. Then, the foliage opens up to a driftwood littered beach and the imposing ocean! So gorgeous! Perfect for a stroll, a picnic or just family time to hang out and play in the sand.

We have been here twice and camped in a tent in C6 and C8- 6 is best! This campsite has always been full of good natured people and families and the amenities are wonderful as well as the rangers and hosts. I think you will love it as much as we do. It does get very damp on the coast so be sure to bring a water proof tarp for over your tent!! The beach is amazing with lots of sea-life to discover and rocky trails to climb. Highly recommend this campground.
Stephanie M — Google review
Beautiful little spot to spend some time at the beach. Seems to get a little crowded at sundown as people enjoy the view. We used the day use area several times over a few days and accessed a different part of the beach each day. Found star fish and other marine life at low tide. Family friendly. Flushable toilets and picnic benches. We visited over Memorial Day weekend and it wasn’t too crowded.
Ben J — Google review
Such beautiful weather this year. This is our favorite spot to camp in Oregon. The seascape is unique. Oh and especially the backdrop during the sunset hour is really spectacular. We will come back here every year if we can.
Debi — Google review
Beautiful state park and campground at Harris Beach! A mixture of full hookups, water + electric, and rustic sites. Most are very generous spaces with vegetation surrounding for privacy. The bath houses are well equipped and maintained. Loved having a fire ring for the evenings. Great little beach at the park with interesting rock formations and tidal pools. There are some walking trails and the campground is close to Brookings (only 15 min walk to town). Will definitely come back here when we are next on the Oregon coast!
Emily P — Google review
One of the best state parks I’ve been to. Lots of Rangers and Hosts keeping the place clean. Garbage services around the corner from every site. Multiple stores close to town if you forget anything you need and a short drive to the California Redwoods. The other campers were very courteous, we had no issues with people quieting down or having unruly animals. My only criticism is some of the sites are ridiculously small. Our site was all gravel and pavement. Make sure to check google street view prior to booking!
Macnmonte — Google review
It's a nice beach from which to watch the sunset. The plentiful rocks in the water add to the dramatic mood at sunset. The beach itself is ok, seemed a little messy. There's a lot of driftwood and sea detritus on the beach (stinky kelp and seaweed) and it can get flooded with large ponds due to the profile of the beach. There's also a creek that drains across the sand which you have to cross, and while I'm hoping most of the runoff in this part of the world is clean, I don't know what kind of stuff drains here, from street runoff and so forth. Can get busy, there is a campground here so people will often set up tents and canopies to occupy an area all day.
Allan R — Google review
Love this park! The staff are very friendly. The park is beautiful, well kept, and close to area beaches.

Azalea Park, spanning 33 acres in Brookings, is a beloved green space with a rich history and an array of recreational amenities. Named after the ancient native azaleas that have been meticulously restored, the park offers picnic areas, sports facilities, and paved walkways for leisurely strolls. Its significance dates back to the time of Lewis and Clark's expedition, adding to its allure.
Lovely park. Absolutely outstanding holiday light show. We returned the next day so my grandsons could enjoy the playground. It is very clean, no bark chip and huge. The nearby restrooms were also clean. We frequently stop at this park on trips up the coast.
Christine S — Google review
Beautiful park with amazing flower gardens! Large playground, nice bathrooms and walking paths.
Mamie Z — Google review
I was surprised how new the park was. The style was typical of what I grew up with but it's like a Trex-Dex material rather than wood. My kids loved how big it was and how much to explore.
J ( — Google review
We were too early in the year for the azaleas but the rhododendrons were in full bloom and beautiful!
Jim W — Google review
I went to this park to visit the Capella by the Sea. The chapel is a small A frame building with a view of the ocean and harbor. The chapel was reserved for a special event so I only had a few minutes to walk in and look around before I needed to be out. The park itself has a small trail that winds through the trees and was a nice enjoyable walk. This park also has a playground and a disc golf course that looks like it would be fun as it is in and out around the trees. All in all it was a nice visit.
Anamaria B — Google review
Beautifully landscaped and loved the walls around all the gardens have been going to concert in the park. Every Sunday afternoon in summer ☀️ from 1pm to 3pm
Tracie B — Google review
Nice little park with room for kids to play and parents to walk out sit and relax. Could have used more seating in the shade, but we were there on a warm day. The park has lots of amenities like basketball courts, ball fields, the Kid Town play structures a gazebo and off course, the Capella structure that is pretty amazing. Just wish we could have gone inside but from the vandalism in other parts of the park, I can see what they have to keep it locked up! They also have restrooms and lots of grassy areas.
Andrew P — Google review
*fenced kids play area *disc golf *restrooms *garden path/flowers *fun water fountain I really enjoy this park on any regular day but also really love all the events held here like the music festival and the Christmas light display. The playground is better suited for slightly older kids but there is a smaller section of it that is better for littler ones. The whole playground is fenced.

Port of Brookings Harbor, Office is a charming marina with adorable storefronts and a cozy coffee shop. Visitors can savor delicious fish and chips at The Hungry Clam or Sporthaven Marina, followed by indulging in ice cream and fudge at Slugs n Stones. Every Saturday from late May to early October, the port hosts a vibrant Saturday Market featuring live music, local artists, and vendors.
Best place on the coast to spend Fourth of July in my opinion. Drove clear from Talent. Brookings is a patriotic place and the fireworks over the harbor are incredible.

The coast at Brooking is spectacular. All the drift wood and pebbles being washed up by the waves was amazing to watch and spending time soaking up the ocean air was refreshing and rejuvenating.

Campground
Harris Beach State Park Campground in Brookings, Oregon offers a budget-friendly option with stunning views of Harris Beach. The campground is well-maintained and provides free hot showers and clean bathrooms. While it's conveniently located near Highway 101 and the town of Brookings, some campers have noted occasional noise from the highway. However, many visitors appreciate the beautiful sites, children's play area, and easy beach access. Some even mention encountering wildlife like elk and owls during their stay.
Great place to camp, the driveways are a little tight and narrow, but manageable. **Don't book a tent spot if you have a truck a trailer (that doesn't need or use RV Hookups) like I did, cause if there's not enough room to back your truck and trailer in, you're SOL if you booked online, and show up after hours like I did.** Sorry to the folks who's spot I snagged, I was only there for a snooze and a hot shower 😅 And speaking of showers, nice clean showers with HOT water! Clean restrooms, annnnnnd you can hear the ocean from the campsites!
Trav450ER — Google review
gorgeous beach, couple trails down the beach. Nice camps well taken care of sorta small but still enough room to set up tents and coolers. Bathrooms and showers are nice and clean, free hot showers! Rangers dont mess around when it comes to taking care of their camp ground! They are always out taking care of the camp grounds early in the morning. High way is a little loud at night, if you have to sleep with quiet i don’t recommend this campsite.
Lexii — Google review
Harris Beach Campground State Park is well—maintained and attractive. We were in site 6A, which had a large grassy area and vegetation separating the sites on either side of us. A lot of the sites were under trees, which would be great on a hot day, but it was raining so we it wasn’t as dark and gloomy in our site. It cleared enough for a walk down to the day use area and a spectacular sunset
Jenny A — Google review
This campground was so clean and bathrooms were clean and showers were great. It had a great view of the beach and lots of trails to hike down to the beach. I highly recommend this campground. Highly recommend doing the Samual Boardman corridor as well. Beautiful views and great stops just minutes from the campground and lots of hiking there as well.
Lisa L — Google review
We stayed at the hiker biker. The mill is really loud at night. There seems to be permanent shady residents on the hiker biker site. One other hiker was staying at the same time as us and got her food stolen, so we didn't feel so safe here.
Marc-Antoine L — Google review
Good experience. I do agree that at night the beeping and noise from the 101 traffic and whatnot can be a bit loud at times but it didn’t really bother me. We were in a tent in C loop, site 08 and it was fine for a night. Fun little trail near by and can walk around closed D loop which was nice. The beach access was beautiful. Makes up for any inconvenience there may have been.
M F — Google review
The campground is lovely and possibly the cleanest campground I’ve ever visited. The sites are well maintained with pretty level pads for parking car, truck, van or RV. Tent sites are spacious. Good shade and beautiful scenery. Bathrooms and showers are spotless and camp hosts are super helpful and friendly. A beautiful park on the gorgeous Oregon coastline.
Stacey W — Google review
This campground is one of the nicest if not the nicest I've been to, very clean well stocked restrooms, clean and raked campsites. Close to the beautiful beach!

Cape Ferrelo Viewpoint, located near Brookings, is a prime spot for year-round whale watching. The area offers a serene atmosphere with the refreshing scent of sea air. Visitors can take a narrow trail through the forest to reach a meadow with unobstructed views of the rocky coastline and offshore sea stacks. Additionally, the Cape Ferralo Loop Trail provides access to the beach and is part of the Oregon Coast Trail.
Beautiful, quiet sunset spot on the Oregon coast. There is usually a considerable amount of clouds down the Pacific during the summertime blocking a perfect view, however it is still enjoyable. Your mileage may vary with crowdiness, I went on a weekday in late July.
Yash P — Google review
I wanted to stop and see the nice views of the offshore sea stacks. It was foggy as I hiked through the forest on a narrow trail to a meadow with no trees to block the views of the rocky coastline. You can hike to the beach on the Cape Ferralo Loop Trail, which is part of the Oregon Coast Trail to the left of the parking lot. The parking lot is small with no restrooms. Located on Hwy 101 at mile marker 351.9 about 8 minutes from Brookings on the Boardman Scenic Corridor. A nice place to see sunsets over an endless horizon, hike on the Oregon Coast Trail, and to watch whales at certain times of the year.
Ed L — Google review
A short hike from parking lot, leading to a 270 degree view of the coast, perched high above the pacific coast. It is not crowded and there is adequate parking, a shot drive off of 101.
Varma P — Google review
Great sunset spot! We were going to hike to the viewpoint, but there was no need. There is a bench by the parking lot, and the views from there are just great. Either way, my son and I tried a portion of the trail and it would be hard to walk back after dark. There are many low branches and a bunch of roots. The view from the parking lot is all you need!
Chaco R — Google review
One of my favorite places to go to relax and take in the beautiful views of the ocean or walk the trails to the point.
GaryH66 — Google review
Scenic spot overlooking the ocean. Stopped here hoping to see some whales (currently migrating). No luck with the whales today but still a beautiful view watching rain. Showers rolling in from the Sea...

Me i love the boardman in general but lone ranch and cape feel lo you must stop walk the trails take photos go to beach study their history back then. Very cool

Brookings Fishing Charters LLC is a top charter boat company in the Northwest, specializing in king salmon fishing on the Oregon Coast. The guides are known for their humility, kindness, and willingness to share their expertise. Customers appreciate the easy booking process and the company's commitment to safety. Visitors have had great experiences with patient and accommodating captains who ensure an enjoyable fishing trip, especially for families with children.
Nice boat, good Captain, active deck hand. All was well, except the waves kept us close to port. We knew of the risk the waves would keep us out of the best places. We didn't limit out of course but averaged 3 nice rock fish.
James C — Google review
Have been fishing with Brookings Fishing Charters for the last 4 years. Have enjoyed every single trip. In particular the Lighthouse trip. Captain Chris and Sammy were incredible. Two of our family members have never fished before. They were so patient in showing us the techniques in getting hugh lingcods and rockfishes. We reached our limits. They cleaned the fish, fillet them and separated them into bags. Thank you for providing us such a great experience.

I had a great trip on the Nauti-Lady with my mom. Captain Any and Eric did their best to get us on the fish and keep us fishing. The best part is that they clean your fish for you at no extra charge like other charters I've been on! Thanks, Brookings Fishing Charters!

What a Great Time! My buddy Mike & I headed out on the Miss Brookings on Saturday morning Captain Chris & deckhand Mr.Erik put on a good trip, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Great company with great guides .. I cannot wait to throw lines and head out again! Thank You Kindly To All @ Brookings Fishing Charters.
Marc G — Google review
Shane was the ideal guide for my daughter Esther and me. He was humble, kind, and shared his knowledge graciously, attributing it to those who taught him. Unlike my past experiences with guides, who can be passionate but sometimes caustic, critical, and exacting, Shane was a breath of fresh air. He spoke highly of his employer and coworkers, making our day enjoyable. His encouragement and support were unwavering, even in the face of our lack of expertise. In a world that can be ungrateful and ungracious, Shane was a refreshing and positive presence. Wherever you are in life, a trip with Shane or the crew he praises will restore your faith in both men and nature. When you go, be sure to mention that Joshua Paul, Esther, and Shane sent you!
Joshua P — Google review
Captain Chris and deck hand Sammy were awesome on my most recent lighthouse trip. Put us right on the fish, managed the boat well, bled all the fish and cleaned them well. This is my 3rd time fishing with Brookings Fishing Charters; everytime has been great.
Aron F — Google review
I thought captain mick of The Dash was a great captain and very personable. I would have loved to give him a tip but the guys in the office need to get there stuff together because the trip was prepaid for and when I got there they made me pay for my seat again. I even had a QR code of the receipt on my phone but it seemed to overwhelm them and told me that I would have to wait for the manger to get back from Portland and they would give me a "refund"...

Fair amount of booths and nice things. Husband was able to negotiate a price on an old rifle scope, so perhaps they will negotiate a lower price on some of their furniture...? Otherwise, it is priced on the high side.

This forested coastal park with a trail & beaches offers picnicking, fishing & hiking.
The Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor is hands down one of the most breathtaking stretches of coastline I’ve ever seen. Every turnout reveals another jaw-dropping view—rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and dramatic sea stacks. It feels like stepping into a dream. Short trails lead to unforgettable photo spots, and the ocean air is invigorating. You could spend hours here and still be amazed. A must-see on any Oregon Coast road trip. Five stars without hesitation.
Richard H — Google review
Drove along the Samuel H. Boardman scenic corridor with a rental car. So many stops and trails along the way! My favorite was the not so “Secret Beach” was a steep way down to get to it and an even steeper incline going back up. Make sure to wear proper shoes, but so worth the amazing views! There is a waterfall that lets outs into the ocean. One of the most beautiful places I have seen! Came back for a nice sunset.
Nathalie S — Google review
Several places to stop along this scenic corridor. Whaleshead Beach was where we spent our day mostly. There are plenty of rock formations to view while walking the beach. Some access to viewpoints and the beach access along this part of Hwy 101 are harder to get to so read signs. There are plenty of facilities and parking along the way. There were lots of rocks to fill your pockets, but we didn't find any agates. Nice section of the Southern Oregon coast. Strongly suggest spending time at each of the viewpoints for a great sight-seeing experience.
Brian S — Google review
Very cool hike! Took about 30ish minutes from car and back with two labs. I highly recommend checking out. The hike was moderate. Lots of beautiful vista's seen from the cliffs. Be very careful though because a slip or a stumble could send you over.
R. M — Google review
Great hike. People have died here so there are signs blocking off the hike, but we did it anyways, just down to the part before the trail crosses the rock. I wouldn’t cross the rock bridge, as it’s not safe with the waves. Lots of poison ivy in the area so pay attention on the trails.
Maja R — Google review
An absolutely gorgeous stretch of the Oregon coast! You can easily spend a couple of days exploring all the spots and discovering some new ones! My favorites were Natural Bridges and Secret Beach, but we also checked out Arch Rock, Lone Ranch Beach, and Cape Ferrelo for an amazing sunset!

You can apparently get spaces up to 2 weeks. After that, you have to wait 3 days to camp there again. They are dog friendly, too! The toilets DO get backed up, so DON'T flush extra things in there. For the sake of everyone else 🙄 there are firepits and picnic tables with plenty of room for your dog or kids. It's quiet, and everyone is friendly and keeps to themselves. I absolutely loved it here. Especially because it's next to the river and close to the botanical garden.

Gorgeous surrounding area with clean, more private feeling tent sites. Check in/out was a breeze. Felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay and will be returning as soon as possible. Internet/service is a little spotty, as the campsite is in the sticks. River was warm, calm, and fairly shallow.
Kylie — Google review
Fantastic camp spot for smaller rvs. I am in love with it & will definitely be back for more. My husband & I hiked along the Chetco, walked through the redwoods & enjoyed the scenic beaches. So quiet, especially on week days.
Elyse D — Google review
Perfection. Quiet campground, I swear everyone was asleep by 9pm. 😆 Chetco river is beautiful, shallow and WARM! Great for swimming or kayaking around a bit.The restrooms are as clean I've seen at campgrounds with flushable toilets. Showers are clean and water temp was fine. Not cold. Firewood is sold by camp host. Kid friendly and dogs are welcome. At night the only sounds I could hear was a hoot owl. We will make this our annual trip. Trails along the river lead to the Redwood trail. You won't be disappointed. Just a short drive to the coast and Samuel H Boardman state scenic corridor. Close enough to Hike to Secret beach and kayaking back at camp.
Lana P — Google review
My dogs birthday was 4/20 and we drove down to Brookings from Washington to camp with his sister another pup and it was the most relaxing experience.
Lynda S — Google review
An absolutely beautiful little park right on the river with access to the Rocky Beach and a short hiking trail. Most dog owners are entitled here and do not follow the leash requirement in this place (even more than usual), unfortunately. The campground is lovely too.
Michelle N — Google review
Great day camping area with picnic tables separated by bushes. The toilets are very clean. You can drive out to the river. It’s all ricks—be careful. The blackberries are in season so there’s lots to pick. The trip from Brookings is beautiful. We saw Black Tailed Deer crossing the road. Take a picnic with you since you can eat by the river—bring chairs. Dogs love to go in the river.

Beautiful nice friendly park to go swimming for the day and to stay over night. Overall love the place

Lone Ranch Beach, part of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, is a serene and picturesque beach located just 4.5 miles from Brookings, Oregon. The long crescent-shaped beach offers soft sand and stunning views of sea stacks. During low tide, visitors can explore numerous tidal pools teeming with various marine creatures like hermit crabs, shore crabs, and spiny urchins.
Beautiful beach, not too crowded in the mornings. You can hike up a big hill to see the beach on the other side at the same time or you can just walk around the hill on the beach, crossing some rocks if you don't want to climb the hill.
Amanda J — Google review
Gorgeous beach! Not a really big one, but good for a morning or sunset stroll, and checking out the sea life clinging to the rocks. We saw by far and away the most starfish and anemone of any coastal spot on our mutli-day southern Oregon coast trip. Didn't seem to be too crowded either, not sure if this is a super popular beach or not, but it was much nicer than Harris Beach down the road. There's also a high viewpoint from the bluffs above, which has its own parking, or you can hike up from the beach. Highly recommended, esp if you have kids and they want to get up close to tide pool creatures.
Allan R — Google review
Probably my favorite beach in the Brookings area. Easy access from parking lot. Beautiful and scenic with awesome rock formations…. I regret that I didn’t check out the tide pools but it gives me something to look forward to on next visit….
Alex — Google review
Cool beach to chill at. We brought some sandwiches and ate on the beach. There were some picnic tables, but they were tucked away in the brush. Lots of shells on the beach and plenty of space to walk around and explore. Almost empty when we went.
Chaco R — Google review
GORGEOUS beach. Doesn’t seem to be as popular so there weren’t many people there which was very. Gorgeous rock formations and BEAUTIFUL waves. Highly recommend, it’s a lovely little walk!
Susie W — Google review
Great place to tide pool at low tide.
Janet R — Google review
One of our favorite spots on the coast. The access to the beach is quick and pretty easy. We were lucky enough to end up here at minus tides. We got to see a lot of creatures in the tidepools and on the rocks. This was also the first and only place that we got to get our toes in the sand and spend some time talking with locals. Wonderful memories.
Kirsten B — Google review
I found this beach by accident and it has become my favorite beach on the west coast. There is easy parking, lots of warm soft sand, interesting rock formations, and hiking in the surrounding area. Around sunset it's otherworldly

Scenic oceanfront park offering a sandy beach, visitor center, hiking trails & wetlands on 40 acres.
One of my favorite places in the area to spend a lazy afternoon. Peaceful and full of new things to see with every visit, we love that you can walk through a dense forest full of mushrooms and moss and emerge on the bank of the beautiful Winchuck River. Follow the riverbank West and watch it meet the Pacific Ocean. Gorgeous any time. Breathtaking at sunset.
Natalie C — Google review
The staff at the welcome center was so helpful, she gave us a mile marker sheet with all the points of interest on it for our trip up the coast, have definitely used it so far.

A beautiful area!! Driftwood galore! Ocean tumbled Moss Agate can be found on the shores. We really enjoyed this area. Restrooms at the Visitor center.

Awesome beach!! Agate is everywhere! We totally enjoyed it!! Just north of the California border....the welcome station has great parking, clean restrooms and is full of educational stuff

I love this park it's a great place to visit the ocean and it's beautiful but it closes at 8:00 p.m. ouch it should be 9:00 p.m. to catch the sunset

This is a great visitors center. The staff is super friendly. They had some great recommendations for sites to see. The facilities are clean and offer a great spot to refresh when driving along the coast. The beach acces is great. We just spent a few hours there with my youngest daughter and her dog while through. It was a perfect spot to stop for lunch.

Chetco Point Park is a popular outdoor recreational area located right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It offers direct beach access, tide pools for exploration, and stunning views. The park features multi-purpose walking trails, picnic areas with tables, and a lawn area for relaxation. Despite its awkward parking location near a wastewater treatment plant, visitors can enjoy the beautiful lookout point with panoramic views of the rocky coast and surrounding natural beauty.
Great park with killer views of the Pacific and sea stacks. Unfortunately, it basically shares a parking area with a waste treatment plant - but don't let that deter you. The walk is well worth it.
Kevin V — Google review
Surprised and delighted by this hidden gem! Park in the marked parking area by the water treatment plant and follow the path through the fence and around the side of the complex for incredible views and a fun walk up to the point. Great flora and fauna. The path is paved and wide enough for two to pass each other but there are no fences or anything so you do need to be careful in rough weather. You can certainly feel the wind up there!
Shannon M — Google review
Wonderful little park behind the water treatment plant. A little confusing to find, but absolutely gorgeous. The dog park is nearly impossible to spot and is on the slower side of things. It only has fencing on three sides but theres a thick hedge where there isn’t fence and our dog didn’t notice. Very gorgeous!
Macnmonte — Google review
My dog and I walked out here early in the morning. We walked up the path onto the rock. As we started walking back out my dog looked to the left and started to try running while looking into the brush. I could hear something walking along us in the brush but couldnt see what it was. I started yelling and throwing my arm up and then heard it take off. Its a beautiful place but my experience was scary. I wasnt going to post but I know this will help people be aware. I have a small dog too. This happened october 13th
Michelle M — Google review
Once you get past the wastewater plant the walk it stunning! Go up to the top of the point(steep incline!) or sneak off to the left down the trail to a secluded spot with tons of driftwood. Shhhh don’t ruin it!

Very gorgeous spot wheelchair, accessible, nice path to walk.Multiple accesses to beach about seventy percent wheelchair accessible, there are some steep hills lived on the coast for 30 plus years. I've been through brookings organ a hundred times and never knew this place existed.

Beach park offering an off-leash dog area, disc golf lawn & picnic space, plus fishing & clamming.
One of my favorites 😍 Be respectful- the locals love this space, so please don't ruin it for them. Go the extra mile so that this space continues to be shared. Beautiful spot.

Turn onto the dirt road right next to Seagull Lane. Didn't find any sea glass here but lots of great tide pooling opportunities around this rocky beach. The trail down to the beach is a bit steep but was manageable at a slow pace. I wished I had brought my walking stick to help with balance though. The beach is very loose small gravel mostly and moves a lot when you walk on it, so expect a good workout. Enjoyed seeing the massive stump near here as well as the rocky shoreline. Spotted some cute little fish in the tide pools and some sea lions on the rocks a bit farther out. The disc golf area and dog park looked nice too. Saw a few other people here but it was not crowded. There is a enough parking for a dozen or more vehicles. The views are wonderful even if you just stick to the area around the parking lot and don't hike down to the beach.
Shannon M — Google review
What a great little find!!! A beautiful park with a dog run/area, a 9 hole Frisbee golf course, and access to a beautiful beach! Truly enjoyed our wall on the beach and all the beautiful sites to see. Waves were very high when we first arrived and were a little concerned about walking down the beach. Got lucky and was able to walk around the corner and a large beach area presented itself to us!!! Probably took over 100 photos between the 2 of us in an hour. Magical place and I look forward to going back during the spring or summer.
Steve P — Google review
Our friends took us down here to show us their favorite beach to pick rocks. Had a nice time looking for rocks and visiting. We got to see the tide start to come in.
Joel A — Google review
Such a neat beach to go to! It has a beautiful off leash dog park right across the beach, and it has a nice disc golf area. The beach is a little rough to descend into on the rocks and gravel, but once you get down it’s so cool to explore the shore. There isn’t sand anywhere, but the entire shore is covered in tiny rocks. So cool!!
Mercedees E — Google review
Great little beach! Access is ok, just use caution on the rocky parts, no handrails. Great beach for rockhounding!
Complete R — Google review
Somewhat hidden but a nice little beach. Although it has rocks, they're small rocks like gravel sized. Great spot overall and has benches but no bathroom.
Clay T — Google review
Would be a 5 star but it is a steep little trail with no steps. Im okd so needed a sturdy hiking staff. They have a pet play area where some locals have brought chairs. Frisbee Golf course! Grassy fields around. There is a portal it a toilet a portable toilet. The best thing is there are a ton of small polish rocks right in front of the trail so you’ve got agate finders and rockhounds. Gigantic stump on beach S of trail. Small, nice, locals!
