Commons Beach is a popular spot on Lake Tahoe, offering a variety of activities for visitors. It's perfect for swimming and sunbathing, with picnic and BBQ areas available. The beach also hosts family movie nights and concerts, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and entertainment. Water enthusiasts can enjoy lounging on the sand or engaging in water sports like water skiing, parasailing, kayaking, jet-skiing, paddle boarding, and fishing.
It is a great place to relax. Playground for kids, small but nice sandy beach area. Water looks clean. It's has a very nice scenery as well.
Phil M — Google review
A nice little community beach with about too much in the way of tourists. It's not the best beach on Lake Tahoe but one where you could bring a family and just relax. There's a playground for kids here.
Minh H — Google review
It’s perfect for families — the kids had a blast on the playground while we relaxed nearby. The view of the mountains is stunning, especially during sunset. Clean, peaceful, and a great mix of fun and nature.

Lake Tahoe Adventure-Commons Beach We went here on Thursday, June 19, 2025! We set off on a beautiful 2-hour drive and finally arrived at Lake Tahoe around 11 AM. Parking can be tricky here, but we got lucky with a great spot after a little wait. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly guards and the vibrant Farmers Market bustling with local goodies. The beach was stunning. We found a perfect spot to set up our picnic right on the sandy shores with a breathtaking view of the lake. The kids had an absolute blast playing in the sand, swimming, and renting kayaks. The staff and other visitors were so welcoming, making our day even more enjoyable. With clean facilities and plenty of space to relax, we spent nearly 6 hours soaking in the sun, playing, and making memories together. If you’re looking to escape the heat this summer, I highly recommend Lake Tahoe! It’s the perfect family getaway.

The Penny Bear just above Commons Beach is a MUST SEE while exploring around Lake Tahoe - a huge Bear sculpture that has over 200,000 pennies glued on edge to simulate the bears fur! Who could have imagined that this would even be possible? Also incredible views across the lake, beautiful beaches, great walking paths, free restroom at the top of the stairs on the south end of the FREE public parking lot below the main highway. Just a great place to spend some time! Even a great playground for the kids!
Steve K — Google review
Nice beach, there is a children’s playground. Parking is free but small. A stage is set up, and in the evening a lot of people gather for concerts. There are changing rooms and toilets (clean). The beach itself is generally good. The entrance to the water is gentle and long, with a mix of sand and stones. There is a thin layer of silt on the bottom.

The best place to enjoy your time in Nevada
Amin M — Google review
Just south of the public city beach. This area is a bit more beachy, and was more crowded throughout the day. It feels like a place to take a family to enjoy a microcosm of beach life without having most of the danger or adventure of what bigger/ocean beaches have to offer. It's a moderately developed area, so there were lots of people around. Feels quite kid-friendly.

Ice skating rink
Park
Tahoe City Winter Sports Park offers a variety of winter activities such as fat biking, snowshoeing, ice skating, and cross-country skiing. Visitors pay one admission price for access to all the park's activities. While kids have fun, parents can relax at Cafe Zenon located on the golf course. Additionally, visitors can enjoy leisurely rafting on Truckee River Rafting or practice their swing at Tahoe City Golf Course.
Took our kids ice skating and sledding here, twice. The first day, the staff guy was above and beyond helpful and kind. We had the rink mostly to ourselves and it was perfect. The second day we went back, we had different staff, it was slow for sledding and they decided they wanted to close early which was a bummer, but they did let us stay a bit longer. We'd definitely visit again, and I'm still giving it 5 stars because of how great our first visit was.
LA R — Google review
04/24/2025: Please update your website. We drove then walked all the way out to the ice skating rink to find no ice, no rink, no staff, just a sign saying No Skates Beyond This Point. No one answered the phone numbers as listed. The surrounding eateries and cinema were open.
Simone J — Google review
Disappointed. $12 per person (adults too!) to slide on a small unmonitored hill on low quality saucer sleds. Apart from the cost, I was very turned off by the danger of kids and adults crashing into each other. I witnessed 2 head injuries, 1 caused an adult to cry and another caused a child to briefly lose consciousness. Next time I'll save my money and slide in the adjoining open space.
Kristen R — Google review
Great for kids. Sledding hill is small as well as the ice rink. Best for under 10. Also a good place to rent and try cross country skiing on flat land.
Denise D — Google review
Had a great time ice skating and eating in the little Cafe. Super fun and inexpensive family pastime to wait out traffic on the way out of the valley. 😉
Theresa L — Google review
Good food, expected overpriced and overcrowded for where it is located. Good menu. Option for order to go or dine in.
Joe T — Google review
Kids had a blast on the skating rink. Wish there was snow on the ground, but no dice! Friendly staff and easy to find.

New American restaurant
American restaurant
Californian restaurant
Christy Hill is an elegant bistro in Olympic Valley known for its French-inspired California cuisine and picturesque lakefront patio seating. The restaurant offers breathtaking views, a wide selection of wines, and exceptional European-inspired dishes that highlight the chef's culinary expertise.
Cannot understate how great of an experience I have every time I’ve gone. Menu is always fantastic with every change made. The meals have a wonderful combination of modern American as well as inspirations from Latino-American. Staff is fantastic and always makes me feel like I’m talking to friends that care. Never a bad meal or experience. Fantastic view. Salmon + trout roe is fantastic and the duck with mole is an incredibly unique and creative combination.
Manuel A — Google review
My wife and I made the correct decision to come here for our anniversary, the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. There is no such thing as a bad seat in the restaurant, with all tables able to see how the large windows overlooking the lake. I hope we can find ourselves back here in the future in warmer weather so we can sit on the terrace!
David S — Google review
Wow both the fine dining restaurant and the casual eatery and bar are fantastic! Sandbar has a gorgeous view and great small Plates, a lovely not-buttery Chardonnay by the glass. Our server Hallie was so sweet and fun. We did dinner at Christy hill the following night and had the tasting menu and wine pairing which was outstanding! Filling portions, generous pours, and the wagyu steak was one to remember. A gorgeous evening on the patio.
Sarah O — Google review
Sand bar is like the outside limited menu of Christy Hill. Reserve to get seating inside, great views and larger menu. But we just out outside because the weather was great and can see the golden Mountain View during sunset. Food was pretty good, lobster roll could use more lobster, ceviche’s could be a bit more flavorful. Great live performance though and the ambiance is top notch
Jay W — Google review
Christy Hill was an incredible experience! Every penny was worth it. The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming, and our waiter was knowledgeable and great. The food was outstanding, including the roast beet salad, softshell lobster, sea bass, lamb, and their own delicious bread. The dessert with coffee was the perfect finish. The cozy views made it an unforgettable experience.
Erika C — Google review
Food is decent but portions are very small for the price. Duck portion size was almost laughable. Basicly a single narrow strip for almost $50. Building is dated and needs some TLC. Service was great and very attentive. The location and views are what makes this place stand out unfortunately not the food.
CR250R — Google review
Refined cuisine in a beautiful setting. The tasting menu looked great but we needed a smaller one after too many meals out. The Moroccan lamb was very nice, well seasoned. The scallops were good as well. Pancetta went very well with a Sauternes wine for dessert.
Tom B — Google review
Very cozy, wonderful restaurant. Service at the highest level👍 The menu is gorgeous, the dishes are delicious) I highly recommend. It is advisable to book a table. Since they have 10 minutes after opening, it is already full👌

History Museums
Located in Tahoe City, the Gatekeeper's Museum is a charming reconstructed cabin that houses a rich collection of local historical exhibits. Visitors can explore an extensive array of Native American baskets, with the museum boasting one of the largest collections in the country. Additionally, the nearby Lam Watah Washoe Heritage Site preserves rocks where Washoe women once prepared and preserved food. The museum also offers cultural tours hosted by representatives from the Washoe Tribe at Palisades Tahoe.
Beautiful museum and you will learn alot about the history of Lake Tahoe. From the socialites who build their summer homes to the ships that sank into the lake. It also has the largest collection of native american baskets!

Not so big bit interesting...kids 11yo and below are free, adults $10. A few walk across north visitor center and a glimpse of the lake too
Chap — Google review
Great museum! Kid friendly, our 7 yr old was able to read the signs with info and understand it. Life size bear and fur to feel. Recommend for a first time museum experience.
Rachel B — Google review
Two stories packed to the brim with history! Lots of neat history with a little something for everybody! Definitely worth the price.
Alejandro V — Google review
The staff super nice! Love this place is 10 per person and kids under 12 are free. They have activities for kids and a present for you at the end 💛💛💛
Nefer P — Google review
If you want to see everything about 1960 Winter Olympics this is the place to go. They have a mixture of other items to see as well. There's a great place out behind overlooking the lake where you can sit and eat or fish. The geese are plentiful.
Rob B — Google review
Interesting museum. It's not that big so you can probably finish it in like 30mins. Gives a little bit of history on families that have lived in Tahoe area as well as some old articles of clothing, etc. They also have a section of Native American baskets. Loved the video that they were playing, as it was quite informative. It was $5 to get in.

The gift shop while small, offers unique items. The curator is friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds offer a nice stroll to the lake's edge and the dam.

Guests have raved about their time on the water, especially with knowledgeable and personable captains like Austin and Miles, who enhance the adventure with local lore and history. Whether you're tubing for the first time or simply soaking in breathtaking views, Sunnyside ensures a memorable outing. Their well-maintained boats provide ample space for families to relax while enjoying various activities.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Matt, Sarah, and Jack. They are beyond generous, kind, professional and sweet. We were in town for a wedding and we had a loved one pass away the year prior in the area. We were able to go out on a boat and leave flowers in the water as a remembrance. Everyone was amazingly kind and empathetic. If you’re looking to charter a boat, please consider going with these amazing people.
Karen B — Google review
Easy peasy! We had such a great time — two adults and a three-year-old. Lake Tahoe is just amazing, and getting to see it from the water was an unforgettable experience. Sunnyside was wonderful too — everyone was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back in the near future!
Samyra A — Google review
We had a great time! We rented a pontoon, but unfortunately it was damaged during the freak summer storm in mid-June. They upgraded us to a bigger speed boat at no additional cost. The staff was friendly and helpful. A couple members of our party were running late, and the staff ferried them out to us without any issue. I would absolutely rent again!
Cecily O — Google review
We had a fabulous tour to Emerald Bay with Austin as our fabulous captain. He was informative, super knowledgeable about the lake, and made the whole experience very memorable! It was a great 3 hour tour. Be sure to ask for Austin when you book your next tour of Lake Tahoe!
Anita M — Google review
We live locally and love using Sunnyside Marina and Watersports for our rentals. I have rented kayaks and SUPS from Sunnyside Watersports in the past. Always a great experience and staff is beyond helpful in helping us get in and out of the water. For the summer 2025, we have rented kayaks for my grandsons' visit, a boat charter for our wedding party, and a boat charter for a birthday party. Everything from start to finish has been exceptional, Matt and Olivia and all staff are great to work with, and we always recommend them to anyone who asks.
Dinorah H — Google review
Our host Owen was extremely helpful and genuinely excited about his job. Check in was smooth and seamless. Boat was clean and just the right size for our group! It was a great day on the lake.
Sandy P — Google review
I rented a 27 ft. Pontoon boat for my family. 6 adults and 5 children. The boat was in pristine condition. The staff was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a great day on the water.

Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park, located off Granlibakken Road in Tahoe City, offers an exhilarating experience for visitors of all ages. With various tree courses and zip lines, this year-round attraction is perfect for kids aged 5 and older to burn off energy. The park features beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to cater to different skill levels. Visitors can choose their desired level of difficulty and switch courses as they please during the approximately 2.5-hour adventure.
Me and my family have had an amazing experience. We reserved spots on Sunday, June 1 and my two kids normally we’ve done this a few times once back in 2020 at the Tahoe Vista location and 2021 at Tahoe Vista and this was the first time that we use Tahoe city it was such a great experience. The weather was perfect. All of the staff were amazing. One of my children has had the hardest time with heights, and he overcame his fear this weekend with the help of the staff. Logan was amazing and the biggest help!. Nora was good with my son!. They really helped my child get through and accomplish his goal of going on some of these obstacles. We will continue to keep coming back to tree top adventures and I hope you and your family decide to do this excursion. It’s well worth it! Thanks everyone at treetop adventures!

Such a fun time was had with my kids, niece and nephew at the Tahoe City location! A few years ago we went to the Olympic Village location but this one was way more challenging and fun for the ages we had (11-13). Really great customer service and explanation of safety guidelines.
Frankie R — Google review
Really fun family experience. You get your money's worth with a full 2.5 hours on the course. There are lots of different skill and enjoyment levels. Plus they switch things up and improve the courses. This is our 6th time on course over the last 10 years and it's always a lot of fun. Staff is very friendly and helpful but maintain course safety.
Aron T — Google review
Went on a team-building trip to the Tahoe City Treetop Adventure Park and had an absolute blast! The staff was super efficient getting us started early, made safety easy to understand, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed—great for calming nerves. One of our teammates got stuck mid-zipline, and the staff responded quickly and kindly, making sure everyone stayed calm and felt safe. Highly recommend this place for families, friends, or work teams. Such a fun and memorable experience!
Morgan F — Google review
Had a great experience climbing with my 16 and 10 year olds of varying levels of fitness on Sunday. Reservations allowed for a relaxed vibe and we still completed all of the courses in the allotted time. The only thing is that they forgot to give us the gloves and hat we ordered but promptly refunded us when we realized it after climbing. Highly recommend!
Mandy H — Google review
BEST TIME EVER! This is a really great place if you love being outdoors and want to feel like you are apart of Ninja warriors because that’s honestly what it felt like, the course had a bunch of different obstacles some harder than others but the ZIPLINES ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I would recommend bringing friends with you for even more fun! There are people at the floor to help if you need to and the safety course they have is incredible. I felt safe and had lots of fun. Would definitely go again! Thank you!
Chels E — Google review
We had an excellent, playful, exhilarating experience at Tree Top. Six of us, including my husband and friends, most of us with no experience and well over 60, had a blast. The whole Tree Top team was excellent, but a special thank you to Max for making us feel welcome and confident. I can't recommend this experience highly enough.

Embark on a leisurely rafting experience with Truckee River Rafting, offering a scenic trip down the river. Enjoy activities like golf at Tahoe City Golf Course and fly fishing with Matt Heron Fly Fishing. While it may be pricey, it's convenient for families and those seeking a hassle-free excursion. The staff, mostly college-age kids, provide friendly service despite the somewhat worn facilities.
Excellent experience, my family loved it!! Make sure to take a coolers with drinks and don’t forget your snacks. Take your time to enjoy the river. The restrooms are not my type but I drank less to avoid the restroom.
Saira C — Google review
The entire trip was amazing!!! At the end in the rapids area, I was bounced out of the raft and an employee sprung into action immediately to assist in getting me to shore! Great training and compassion by all! I can’t express how important it is to wear your life vest, especially in the last stretch of rapids. The employees were all so professional and attentive once I got to the dock!
Lisa B — Google review
This was the best rafting trip ever. Easy to get to though I would recommend being there early. Our time was at 10 and we were there at 9:30. Now, by lunchtime it was super busy and hardly any parking. Lots of places to stop an enjoy the water and it was the perfect temp. The rapids were great for beginners as we had no clue what we were doing, but it was all laughter and smiles. The picture we bought for 20 was great and I loved we were able to buy it for a good price. My family wants to go again and if we ever come back through we will so do it again. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
Solestealth — Google review
This was the favorite day of our vacation. The whole process was smooth, and we were in the water within minutes of arriving for our booking. While a little on the expensive side, we agreed it was worth it. Parts of the route are slow and lazy, providing an opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery, while others required a little bit of cooperation--like going under bridges, avoiding rocks or branches, and navigating small rapids. There are multiple spots along the way where you can "pull over" to snack, rest, swim, etc., and at the end of the route there are some pretty trick rapids that we found to be an exhilarating end to an already fantastic adventure. Great company and great way to spend half a day!
Stephanie H — Google review
Tons of fun on a easy float for 2 to 3 hrs. Only real rapids is a short section of class one close to the end of your float. Large parking lot were you log in, get your wristbands and board your bus for the drive up river. No hard coolers allowed so bring your bag coolers. PFD's are supplied. Majority of float is pretty mild till the end. Lots of places to stop and get out and enjoy your snacks. Several of the stops have porta potties. Wear some water shoes for the rocky bottoms. Friday in July was fairly busy with many boats on the water. When you get out at the end there is a restaurant there and a bus comes fairly regularly to pick you up. Lots of fun if you want a easy river float
Jim B — Google review
We utilized Truckee River RaftING while on a family vacation to South Lake Tahoe. The website is very user-friendly. The facilities are clean. Parking can be a challenge but there is an overflow parking area. The staff is casual, relaxed, and friendly. The equipment was in good shape and the route down the river was very manageable. There is not a lot of instruction regarding the rapid level ( I had to ask, as it was not part of the information session). There are level 2 rapids at the end of the 2 hour route. It is marked on the river with adequate signage. The pull out was staffed with 3 on the dock. Someone was in the water at the pull out, but was not offering assistance, so we weren't sure they were staff. Our biggest suggestion for improvement is making sure the reservation confirmation has accurate address information (the 175 River rd address worked). We had difficulty locating the right place. A great time was had by all. Highly recommend.
A T — Google review
We had such a wonderful experience. Snack and some drinks are must. you can stop anywhere down the route and swim and chill if you need to and your bags get wet so definitely bring a dry bag. Bring a small plastic to put your trash in. Lovely view and steady ride. shuttle services which is there almost every 15 mins. We missed our stop to get down so we got down at the second stop and they arranged to send a van to bring us to our parking spot which was great. Very pleasant employees. Great experience! Will definitely go again.

Golf course
Tahoe City Golf Course offers a serene twilight round of golf starting at 4 pm, providing stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Whether you opt for a quick 9-hole game or a leisurely 18-hole experience, the course promises relaxation and enjoyment. In addition to golfing, visitors can enjoy activities like fly fishing and take in beautiful water views from the Lake Tahoe Dam.
Well let me tell you something — places like this are hard to come by these days. I’ve been playing golf longer than most folks have been alive, and walking onto the Tahoe City Golf Course felt like stepping back in time. Back when the game was about fresh air, a decent swing, and a good buddy to share the round with — not all this fancy GPS cart nonsense and $200 green fees. The course? She’s got character. Quirky? Sure. A little rough around the edges? Maybe. But you know what? So am I. And just like me, this course has seen some things — and it still delivers. The staff? Real salt-of-the-earth types. Friendly, helpful, not trying to upsell you on gloves or some overpriced logo ball you’re just gonna lose on the third hole. The vibe here is relaxed, like back when we'd sneak a flask into our Sunday foursome and call it "hydration." Greens might not roll like Augusta, but who needs Augusta when you've got views like this and air so clean it makes your joints feel 20 years younger? If you're looking for perfect conditions, go somewhere else. If you're looking for heart, history, and a damn good time — this is it.
Mark S — Google review
Course is nice but very under construction. I only gave 2 stars because the grounds keepers were extremely kind people and helped me find a missing club. Can’t say the same about the front desk worker, he was extremely rude and tried scamming us over a golf cart. The sprinklers were on at our next hole and he told us to “go through it” he was very unfriendly and gave me a bad energy. Will not be coming back.
Leena B — Google review
I rarely play golf but we’re in Tahoe and I’m playing golf with some friends today and this course is super pretty. It’s mid October and there’s barely anyone here on a Wednesday. My one complaint here is going to be that there’s Canadian geese everywhere. Now that’s a little hyperbole, but there are a lot of Canadian geese and there’s a lot of turds on the fairway. The course is super beautiful and it’s really a beautiful location to play if you’d like to golf I would suggest coming here
Neal B — Google review
If you want to get a quick 9 for the day this place is really good for it. Course is kept in good condition and pace of play is fairly quick. Watch out for mosquitos though
Emerson A — Google review
Open fairways with minimal chance of collateral damage..great place for scratch golfing! Nice folks and well maintained, nice greens! One star off due to golf cart paths needing improvement.
Brian C — Google review
I booked a tee time over the phone only to arrive to a hellscape of a golf course. They had failed to mention that the entire golf course was under construction and multiple holes were closed entirely. Rented a set of clubs only to find that the putter was missing and the driver was broke. Avoid at all costs as they should be charging something close to nothing for this debacle of a course.
Brian B — Google review
We showed up and found out that 2 of the 9 holes were closed and we were still charged full price even after negotiating. Unacceptable management
Ryan T — Google review
Good little short course. Perfect for the average golfer. Staff was very helpful. Rental clubs were better than expected. Greens were very quick. Would golf here again.

The Tahoe Art Haus & Cinema, formerly known as Cobblestone Cinema, has been completely renovated to offer a unique movie experience. It is the passion project of Steven, a 25-year local and filmmaker. Unlike typical chain theaters, this place offers a more intimate and classy atmosphere with comfortable seating and a great selection of drinks at the bar. The small size of the theater allows for quick access to amenities like restrooms without missing much of the movie.
We were visiting the area and stumbled upon this fantastic theater. It's a one screen theater, so tickets had to be purchased in advance. The lobby was tiny, but the line for snacks moved quickly. They had a good selection of candy, sodas, and adult beverages. The seats were remarkably comfortable. The place was packed, which made for an even better viewing experience.

Great little theatre. Nice comfortable seats. You can buy an adult drink and settle in to see just released movies. Sign up for their email notifications to hear about new releases and special events.
Cliff B — Google review
The theater looks like it would be small from the outside, but once you walk in it past the huge variety of seasoning options for their popcorn, you find yourself in actually a pretty big and well kept theater. There is cushioned couch seats too which is awesome. One of my favorite movies is laces to watch a movie by far!
Brian W — Google review
Super charming! Community vibe. Drink beer on draft while you’re viewing!
Clint S — Google review
My favorite little movie theater. Great atmosphere, good pricing for tickets, nice snacks. Clean and tidy. Can't ask for more from a little one screen place.
Aidan S — Google review
It's always one of my favorite indoor spaces on the north shore. Such a great place to snuggle in for a movie, some great flavored popcorn (you get to flavor it yourself), and a cup of awesome cider or kombucha (or beer).
Liesbet B — Google review
Great guys! They had two presold no shows, so they let us in for free. It's a small intimate theater. With a couple of coughed in the back. Oh and you can have a beer while you watch.
Nolan R — Google review
Small, but full of extra comforts that more than make up for the smaller screen size. Need to go do the bathroom during a show, you can pop right out and be back in seconds. Great beer and drinks on tap, amazing snacks and the service is top notch. We love taking the family here for movies.

Tahoe City Downtown Association hosts the Commons Beach Sunday Concerts, a series of live music events held at Commons Beach every Sunday from June 18 to September 3. The concerts feature various musical acts and are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring low back chairs and enjoy the performances in this beautiful tourist town. However, pets and smoking are not allowed at the venue.
Is the greatest place in the California for all seasons.

There are always fun events to find here. They really keep you up to date 👍

Constantly changing, and not always for the better. Highlights for me are Tahoe City Ace Hardware and Sierra Surf Club (formerly Blue Agave, and Victoria Station , and other things). If you go to the bar at Sierra Surf Club say hello to Davis a great, and friendly, bartender! Otherwise a lot of the charm has been lost to time, so has a lot of my charm, so c'est la vie! One thing I can say is that the lake front park is amazing, and well done, and checks off almost every thing you would want in a lakeside park list. Well done to whoever got this done.

Hiking area
The Truckee River Bike Trail is a scenic, paved pathway that follows the Truckee River from Tahoe City to Palisades Tahoe Resort, covering over seven miles. This former rail-to-trail route offers a flat and spacious surface for both pedestrians and cyclists. Starting at either end of the trail provides an opportunity for a round trip, with additional bike trails available from Tahoe City. While it can get crowded during summer holidays, early morning visits offer a quieter experience along this popular route.
This is a great trail. I took it all the way to Olympic Valley, then back the other way along the lake. The route along the lake crosses over the road back and forth numerous times, which is annoying. Other than that it’s a great ride.
Steph W — Google review
A beautiful spot to walk, ride or run along the Truckee River. It’s best to start at Tahoe City or Palisades (Squaw Valley) and make It a round trip. There are many additional bike trails you can enjoy from Tahoe City as well. It can get busy on holiday weekends in the summer, but you can beat the crowds by being an early bird.
David — Google review
Great bike trail that goes next to the Truckee River from Tahoe City to the intersection to the Olympic Valley.

North Tahoe Regional Park, situated in a picturesque location, offers various amenities and recreational activities. This charming park provides sports fields, hiking trails, and camping grounds to its visitors. It is an affordable option with a parking fee of $5 and allows individuals to bring their own equipment. The park also features clean bathrooms equipped with soap dispensers. Unlike other cities, this park stands out by going above and beyond expectations.
My family, friends and I are delighted with this beautiful place, highly recommended. Parking is $20 per vehicle in the upper part and $30 for parking in the lower part. Both places are fun but personally I would stay in the lower part where there is more fun for children and adults!

We went for the snow experience!! It was so much fun. We paid for parking 20$. It's a free zone, no one is supervising it. Ppl are just snow sledding at there pleasure. It is 💯 child friendly, with that being said. Ppl have no awareness and will stand in the middle of where ppl will slide down.🙄 or they will stand right at the bottom where ppl will be landing. THAT IS AN EXTREMELY ANNOYING PART!!other than ppl having no awareness, you'll enjoy the snow.

We took our pup to the dog park last weekend, and were blown away! It's one of the nicest dog parks we've visited. There weren't a lot of people/dogs on Saturday afternoon, but that didn't matter. There were so many trees, bushes, rock outcroppings, etc that our dog had plenty of mental stimulation with all the new sniffs. The park was clean, and had large dog, small dog, and all dog areas. Plenty of shade and beauty to appreciate. We'll definitely come back to explore the rest of the park!

Is there anything prettier than Lake Tahoe? Great park, walkable to great cafes, restaurants, amenities. Stunning.
Stephie G — Google review
As a Bird photographer I like this place most. In particulars, trail in the spooner’s lake is a bonus to birders.
Gururaj H — Google review
This is a nice little park in the North Tahoe area. I’ve been here a few times and only in the snow. It’s $5 to park and bring your own gear. I took my daughter and her friends up to play and get some sledding in and I did a little snowshoeing to test out the new bindings (ok so I took a few runs down the hill too). The bathrooms were clean and there was soap in the dispenser.
Jason ( — Google review
We visited the park to see the facilities. There is a $5.00 parking/access fee. There are playground toys, soccer fields and baseball diamond. The summer fun provides a zip line at the Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park inside the park. We had a great time walking the path and enjoying the playground.

This park was so beautiful 🤩 so much snow and fun hills to sled on! And only $5. We came on a Thursday hardly anyone there! Kids had a blast!

Great Park for young kids. Nice playground and big soccer field. Easy access to the beach to skip rocks and really nice views.

This park is the epitome of "f the government. We building a park!" Then having the government take care of it... I dont know what that is but I think its libertarian ideals smacked in the face with reality.
