Hamburger restaurant
Restaurant
Diablo Burger is a modern and casual burger joint that prides itself on using local ingredients and serving its burgers on English muffins instead of traditional buns. The restaurant is located in an oddly shaped circular building next to an Italian restaurant, offering limited seating but providing a rewarding experience for persistent travelers. The burgers are made from range-raised beef sourced from a local ranch, and all ingredients are obtained from nearby businesses whenever possible.
Saw the menu on Google maps and had to come in to taste these unique burgers. Order inside then sit outside on the communal tables to enjoy and fantastic burger. I got the cheech and was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Spicy and oh so good. I did not catch our cashiers/servers name but he was friendly and smiley. Delivered our drinks and food and even cleared our empty baskets. Wonderful service. Will definitely visit again to try more of these delicious burgers. 10/10 highly recommend.

My burger with their signature chili that wasn't hot but juicy and delicious. Frys were a bit salty and greasy but crispy the way I like. Next time I'll ask for my fries to be served separately so that juices from the burger don't drip on them. I wash they have something other than bottled beverages.
Bill M — Google review
Lunch at Diablo Burgers was delicious. Daddy Kane burger and the choose your own were great. The rosemary fries were also nice and crispy. We will be back! Loved the Baylor root beer. Loved that maybe even more than the burgers.
Demetria A — Google review
Diablo Burger offered a great experience, even with a 30-45 minute Saturday evening wait. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly, and the relaxed, communal seating added to the vibe. My "Marilyn" burger was good, but the herb-topped fries were the true standout, especially when paired with their delicious DB Special Sauce.
Ralph T — Google review
We are from Wisconsin and have visited Flagstaff several times. This is our fourth visit here (which in itself says a lot). The burgers are made with prime, low fat beef. Very tasty with unique condiments. Buns are English muffins that are branded with a DN. French fries are freshly made and spiced well. Nice selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. We will visit Diablo Burger again!
Greg H — Google review
My family and I stopped in here after a very exhausting hike up Mount Humphrey’s, but amazing! After the hike we were extremely hungry and everyone was craving a burger, so we found this quant little space, when we entered we were greeted with a smile and a very welcome vibe, they had some oldies playing on the overhead speakers and the establishment smelled delicious I ordered believe was called the db diablo, which had the fried egg on top super delicious, it was paired with some really good French fry’s and I washed it down with not one but two of their craft beers offered. Good value, definitely great service, will be back. Good job to the entire team.
Chris F — Google review
Stopped here after hiking and the atmosphere and staff made the 30 min wait fly by. There was live music in the courtyard, the staff were friendly, and the outdoor seating was comfy. We tried 2 burgers and a beer, which were delicious!
Kendall W — Google review
Stopped in for a late lunch with my daughter's. Our food was very very good. Inside seating is a little cramped and dark but patio was nice and clean.

Butcher shop deli
Proper Meats + Provisions is a downtown Flagstaff butcher shop and eatery that offers locally sourced artisanal meats, charcuterie, cheeses, and fresh-baked breads. They also serve small plates, housemade soups, and sandwiches like the muffaletta and pastrami. The shop prides itself on being Arizona's only exclusively local, whole-animal butcher shop and deli. All their meats are humanely and sustainably farm-raised.
DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS!!! We had the 10 Day Pastrami and Half Cheesesteak. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Both were fantastic. If we’re ever in Flagstaff again we’ll definitely come back! They also have pot pies and soups in a refrigerator/freezer to take home, as well as fun merch. It’s also a butcher with high quality meats. Just a wonderful experience!
Michelle B — Google review
Being vegetarian is always a challenge, but the tomato soup option at this butchers deli was actually delicious. My meat-eating companions all enjoyed their sandwiches although the prices were eye-wateringly high, I thought, and not as big as the price suggested. None of us liked the chips (crisps) much either.
Tania H — Google review
Meat lovers paradise. So many delicious unique options for food. Highly recommend. Portion sizes are worth the price. You may even want to take the rest home to finish later. The chips are oven baked and not too salty. So delicious. I had the half roast beef and it was filling and the horseradish cheese made the sandwich so flavorful. Loved it.
Analisa H — Google review
Wow! I can't believe I haven't been to this place sooner. If you enjoy quality meats to include pastrami , sausages, ground beef, pot pies, and soups! I can't wait to come back .
Sean A — Google review
My pastrami sandwich was tasty, a little dry, but not much meat. Got sticker shock for the $50 bucket of fried chicken.
Bill M — Google review
Wow, unexpected surprise in Flagstaff. Showed up to look at the meats and ended up ordering a meal. The Pastrami was absolutely amazing, DO NOT MISS THIS if you love pastrami. Also had the loaded fries. We also ordered the charcuterie board and this was the biggest surprise of all. Absolutely amazing cheeses, meats and other items. Wow on the blue cheese.
Joe K — Google review
This is a gem of a place for the best meats, fish and sandwiches. A James Beard Award winner. Extraordinary. Satisfying. Integrous. The pastrami sandwich is fantastic! This is a place you’d typically find in a large city like San Francisco or New York. A place where the clientele is sophisticated and moneyed. I don’t know why such a great purveyor is in Flagstaff, but what they are doing here is genius.
Tom B — Google review
Service there was quite disappointing. They did not seem friendly at all and acted like it was an inconvenience to serve us. The seating area was insanely busy and not very well cleaned. The prices are absolutely insane and not at all worth the actual quality of the food. I have been here before and noticed they have cut down on meat in the sandwiches. You cannot find anything on the menu for under $20 and even the kids menu is way overpriced. I paid over $10 for my son's half grilled cheese and a couple fries. Will not be going back, I would have had a much better experience at Crystal Creek Sandwich Company. I would highly recommend that if you are in the mood for a good sandwich, go there instead of PMP.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
MartAnnes Burrito Palace, a family-owned Mexican restaurant established in 1982, is renowned for its flavorful dishes and vibrant atmosphere. The menu features spicy green-chile pork posole, house-made spicy chorizo and scrambled eggs, and savory banana split French toast. The oversized burritos are particularly popular, with options like bean and cheese or la chimichanga. The restaurant also offers all-day breakfast with highlights such as the famous chilaquiles.
This is hands down the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten and we eat Mexican food a lot at home. The waitress said all the sauces are homemade, it tastes like it. Me and my husband got the same meal, sour cream chicken enchiladas. I got it with the green sauce, he got his with the red sauce. Both were amazing!!! The best food in flagstaff that we’ve had. The waitress was wonderful, very kind and down to earth. Would definitely put this place on your list if you’re in or coming to Flagstaff!
Amy F — Google review
My husband and I are visiting Arizona for our honeymoon (we're from Ohio) and this was one of the first places we decided to try out! And we're so glad we did, some of the best Mexican food we've ever had! Love the atmosphere and the music. Staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is amazing! We also loved the beautiful art on the walls, definitely gives MartAnnes a unique kind of charm! We visited twice during our stay, can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend, if we're ever in Arizona we'll definitely come back! Much love from the Newbolds 💙

Incredible food, service & atmosphere. The flavors were so addictive that I had trouble stopping despite being stuffed. The portions were very generous. I would absolutely make time for this restaurant again on our way thru town and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal experience.
Carin B — Google review
This place is 10/10. The food was amazing. I got JB's Volacano (an interesting and delicious take on classic chiliquiles) which was amazing. The meat and chili were incredible. My lady got the BLT which was also 10/10. Lastly, we got a happy hour mango margarita and it was sweet - with a punch! Service was fast and the hostess/waitress was very nice. Would definitely recommend, especially for travelers from out of town.
Dustin G — Google review
I originally chose this restaurant for brunch because I saw they did breakfast all day, but then I read a review that someone had breakfast tacos here which are my fav and I insisted we go 🌮 Our meals were SO delicious and they give HUGE portions. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly too! I ordered the chilaquiles and instead of meat I got grilled seitan- soooo delicious! My friend got the enchilada y huevo and said it was great. He also got a side of pancakes and they were so big he couldn’t finish them! I got an horchata latte and it was amazing 😋 we both enjoyed our hashbrowns and he said his coffee was just what he needed ☕️ beautiful art all over the restaurant and it’s for sale. The wait wasn’t long (busy on a late Thursday morning is a good sign to me!) and the seating in the waiting area is comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to my out of town guests- bring them here! Gavin our waiter was really cool, you’ll be well attended if you sit in his section 🍽️ We got lucky and parked right by the door but the lot isn’t super big and someone asked us for our parking spot when we came out. In a great location downtown, convenient to so much 🌇
Courtney S — Google review
We enjoyed our meals! Really don't have any complaints. Our waitress was super patient and helpful with our food choices since it was our first time there. The only bad thing was they had no Flan... sad 😞
Bren S — Google review
Amazing atmosphere, vintage kitsch. The menu selection is wide, and all of the selections above average in quality. Attentive service, reasonable prices. Will visit here every time I'm staying in or driving through Flagstaff.
Lagarta P — Google review
Favorite breakfast in Flagstaff. Very generous portions. The service was friendly and fast. The Jbs volcano was more of a platter than a plate. Containing plenty of delicious offerings. I had the best Orange juice I've ever tasted. The art on the wall is awesome, unique, locally made, and for sale. You gotta check this spot out.

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Pizzicletta is a cozy Italian-inspired pizzeria known for its exceptional wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas that cook in just 90 seconds. The restaurant has gained a reputation for drawing pizza enthusiasts from far and wide, with some traveling over two hours to savor the delectable offerings. The menu features a variety of pizzas, including vegan-friendly options and unique combinations like bacon and shallot.
Good stuff! We sat outside on the patio, which is the only way to go in summer in Flagstaff. The vibe was great, the service was wonderful and the pizza was extraordinary! We got a red sauce pizza and a white sauce pizza. Both were fantastic. They both had a twist to the classic that set them apart. Its thin crust pizza yet not crispy. Seating is a bit limited even though its a big place due to a really large table inside that takes up a lot of space.
David P — Google review
The dough is odd - it lacks the big bubbles of a proper Neapolitan-style pizza (I assume from underdeveloped gluten), but still has high moisture. The result isn't quite tender enough and mostly brings to mind undercooked sandwich bread. It helps to fold it over so you don't have to eat the crust alone. The margherita's mozzarella is spread too wide, which results in an overly homogenous flavor, mostly dominated by cheese with the occasional burst of basil. The tomato didn't come across much, but where it did, it tasted overly processed. The amore oi mari was pretty solid. I think American food tends to work better when there's more going on. I can't tell whether it's the supply chains, the chefs, or it being made for an American market - but that's why I call it "American food". Service, atmosphere: efficient, no frills, just how I like it.
Peter S — Google review
Pizzicletta is the go-to pizza spot in Flagstaff. My husband and I have literally driven up from Phoenix just for pizza, wine, and gelato then back home! We love to roadtrip, though. They probably have the best dough in Arizona.
Stephanie H — Google review
We started with the Rosemary Focaccia appetizer and shared the Diavola pizza. The chili oil on the pizza was the perfect finishing touch! Everything was amazing. We even had room left for a scoop of their homemade Salted Caramel gelato, which tasted just like a Werther’s candy! We’re definitely coming back to try more of their menu!
Tracy J — Google review
The pizza here is amazing. The Gelato was great too. You can tell the people take pride in what they do here. Totally recommend.
Will W — Google review
Great little pizza place in Flagstaff. If you like neapolitan style, they do a nice job. I had the Diavola but didn’t read the ingredients well and would have loved it without the honey. It wasn’t too spicy. The dough was chewy. Nice pepperoni. I picked up.
C. M — Google review
Giving this a 5 for FLAVOR let's talk about food shall we Pizza has almost been ruined for me because I've had the most delicious fired pie in Italy As a result a return to the states has left my pizza palate a little flat and then came along this place We ordered the DIAVOLA A bit bold for someone who is terrified of spice but the crisp chili, soothing sweetness of honey, and light crispy brick crust was a surprising delight I don't know what I was expecting nor did I ever think I'd find it in Flagstaff but this spot is so good I can't wait to take my friend who is from Italy there for the experience The venue is small so if you're a large party you may need to split up. I love that they have a community table. The pleasure of eating delicious pizza amongst smiling strangers was refreshing. They do offer some outside seating but again keep in mind this venue is small I did see a lot of people ordering their gelato flight and they all seemed pretty happy with their selections Highly recommend the DIAVALO even if you're afraid of spicy foods you won't be disappointed
T J — Google review
Best most friendly service and pizzas are always executed PERFECTLY. It seems the employees really care and seem happy. The crust is the best I’ve had from any pizza place, chewy, crispy, doesn’t go limp and soggy when you pick up a slice. Almost has a sourdough flavor, very good flavor. The sauce is the best, fresh and sweet not overseasoned. They don’t put excessive cheese (I may be one of the few people who do not like tons of cheese on the pizza, but let the crust, sauce, and toppings shine through. Can’t stand when the cheese is thicker than the actual crust!). The pepperonis are the little thick cups and they get it super crispy. The crust wasn’t burnt ( I hate burnt crust which happens often with wood fired pizza). I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place now. Our usual wood fired pizza place in Flagstaff has gone downhill in quality and they’re always so busy they sometimes don’t even take your order. Pizzicletta is much better anyways!

New American restaurant
Restaurant
Atria is a charming American fare restaurant located in Flagstaff, known for its light-filled dining room and pastel-hued decor. The renowned chef Rochelle Daniel, a James Beard nominee and Food Network 'Chopped: Grill Masters' finalist, leads the culinary team in creating seasonally inspired dishes using farm-fresh ingredients from Northern Arizona.
If you're looking for a restaurant in Flagstaff that combines sharp execution, clean design, and thoughtful hospitality—Atria is a standout. My wife and I came with two friends for a leisurely dinner and sampled a wide range of the menu. We started with Atria Bread and a pair of oysters (raw with caviar beurre blanc, and grilled with chorizo and blood orange gel). The flavors were balanced and beautifully presented. The citrus and melon salad stole the show. Unexpectedly vibrant and perfectly paired with burrata and grilled melon—probably my favorite bite of the night because of how balanced it was. Our mains included the 20oz Linz Ribeye (expertly rendered fat, no chewiness at all), Iberico Pork Pluma, Organic Smoked Chicken, and the Coal Roasted Squash. The care and technique were clear across all plates. No misses. Desserts were fun and elegant, especially the PB&J with peanut butter mousse and brown butter shortbread. Cocktails and zero-proof drinks were equally well-crafted. I especially liked ‘The Little Green Drink’ with tomatillo and grapefruit. Odd on paper with pea and tomatillo, but absolutely nailed in execution. Service was just as impressive. Our server knew the menu inside and out. Never rushed us, never hovered—just kept the flow of the evening going, and somehow always had our water glasses full. The design? Clean, warm, and airy. Using a light color palette, with floral and natural elements throughout. After getting our appetizers and drinks, my wife said “the chef has to be a woman.” And my friend said yes - she is! Rochelle Daniel. A James Beard semi-finalist for Emerging Chef. The overall plating, design, and space was feminine - with a touch of whimsy we all loved. It was nice to see an unapologetically feminine approach. This isn’t a place I’d visit weekly based on cost—but it’s perfect for a special occasion or if you want a truly memorable dining experience in Flagstaff. Food: 10/10 Design: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Overall: 9.65/10 Would 100% return.

Was walking around and saw this cute place. It’s a small place so reservations are recommended. However, the hostess was able to sit us down but told us ahead of time that there were reservations so we can only dine in for about 2 hrs., which was a plenty of time. Server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I specifically just wanted a Cacio e Pepe but it’s an only an appetizer so he recommended to just order 2 of it and he can put it in one plate. Food was really good. We enjoyed it a lot. I personally prefer my pasta Al dente and I got mine in the softer side but it’s all good. The flavor was still very good. I would come back here again if I visit Flagstaff in the future. ❤️

Incredible gem of a restaurant located right in the middle of downtown Flagstaff! Happy hour is from Tuesdays-Thursdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the bar — definitely go during this time cause the happy hour prices are such a steal for the quality of food! And on top of that, our bartender made the most amazing drinks!! She was so accommodating and her service was seamless even when things got busy at the bar. If you go during happy hour, you can snag a seat without needing a reservation but otherwise I would reserve as the restaurant fills up pretty quickly during peak dinner hours. We were able to find free street parking nearby. The food was phenomenal, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The ceviche was fresh. The bone marrow was so tender and so flavorful, easily our favorite dish. One order comes with two bone marrows as well so it’s great for sharing. The steak and the duck were cooked to a perfect medium rare. I liked that they gave a pretty sizable portion for the duck, you definitely could share this dish as well. The apple cheesecake was a fantastic finishing touch to what was already a spectacular dinner — not overwhelmingly heavy or sweet. The compote was light and the apple filling was delicious. Overall wonderful meal and we left very contented. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone stopping by in Flagstaff! If you’re looking for a memorable place to eat, this is your spot.

I visited for my birthday and it was lovely. Our server was fantastic and so friendly. We ordered the prix fixe menu and each selection was delicious. It is a little pricey, but the experience makes it worth while. I would absolutely return!

I went on a solo trip and booked in advance a nice dinner to myself, i was so happy and excited that it was my first solo trip, as soon as i walked in the host looked me up and down, said wait a minute, went to go talk to another girl literally whispering in her ear both looking at me and she came over very snarky attitude said okay and rolled her eyes and said we have a table for you.. like duh i booked in advance. She was so rude and unwelcoming. The waiter was nice and helpful tho he was very attentive but the atmosphere here is terrible and uncomfortable, uninviting. The desert i give 10/10, the beet plate 9/10 and the scallop 6.5/10 only because was a bit too salty

This is a good place for a special event or a relaxing meal. The bread and oysters were delicious. Somewhat lmited options for vegan. They do their best to alter items for vegan customers. Their salmon was very good. The cake and Gelato was the best part. Highly recommend.
Chris P — Google review
My husband and I celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary at Atria, and we're so happy we did. Everything was phenomenal! We started at the bar for a few drinks and appetizers before moving to the dining counter to finish out our meal. Chef Rochelle and her team are absolute masters at everything they do. We shared the beef tartare, three types of oysters, bread with cultured butter, crudo, smoked salmon dip, foie royale cone, roasted beet salad, cacio e pepe and pork pluma. Each and every dish was a masterpiece, from the presentation to the taste. The entire staff was so friendly and attentive, and they really went out of their way to ensure our anniversary dinner was perfect. Overall, a 10/10 experience in every way. What a gem in downtown Flagstaff!
Nicole D — Google review
Seafood platter: 3/5- the oysters had frozen caviar on them and the other ones had SO much crème fraiche it was the only flavor. The shrimp was very overcooked and chewy. Steamed Mussels: 0/5- Were inedible and had a rotten taste. These were sent back Smoked short rib: 4/5- best dish we received during the dining experience. It was a tiny portion for the cost though. Potato side was cold already when the plate came Pumpkin tiramisu: 3/5- “lady finger” portion of the dessert didn’t seem to be lady fingers, but cake. I would not describe this as tiramisu at all and it was fairly dry On the up side all the drinks we had were really good! I would not recommend this place or visit again.

Fine dining restaurant
Shift Kitchen & Bar is a bright and casual eatery located in Downtown Flagstaff, offering a seasonal menu of American small plates and craft cocktails. The restaurant, owned by a husband and wife culinary team, provides an intimate dining experience with only 34 seats, including an interactive chef's counter. In the morning, guests can enjoy decadent pastries and coffee, while the dinner menu features progressive dishes made with both familiar and exotic ingredients.
We had a great dinner on New Years Eve! It was a last minute reservation and the food was so delicious!! Our server Scarlett (brunette) was the best waitress ever!! The other waitress Jen (blonde) was also very sweet! They both had on the same dress, super cute for the Roaring 20's restaurant theme! I definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back if in the town again!

We went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The tapas style dishes were nice for trying different foods and everything we tried was outstanding. Loved the savory sorbet. Each dish after was a new flavor bomb. Desserts were unique and top notch. And the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for making us feel special.

Shift kitchen was my favorite restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I was in flagstaff celebrating my 30th birthday with loved ones and going to Shift was perfect. We chose to do the tasting menu and each of us finished every plate that came our way. Highlights include the duck mole taquitos, the mezzo course of grapefruit sorbet with goat cheese and olive oil, and the incredible elote southwest salad to open the night. The drinks were boozy, tasty, and beautiful. Everything about the experience was excellent. I gush about it to everyone who asks what I’ve been up to. Thank you so much!

Goodness, where do I begin. It started off well. Meeting my childhood girlfriend for dinner. We like to try new places. I haven't been to the Shift Kitchen & Bar in a while.   I love the seasonal menus. I requested two tasting of red wine and chose the Pinot Noir. We started with the duck taquitos as a starter which were yummy. Here's where dinner took a turn. My bison short ribs arrived first. We sat for almost 10-minutes waiting on my friend's entree. I had to flag down our waitress and inquire about the delay. The waitress noted that some entrees take a little longer. I agree but timing should be a part of the process. I worked in the fine dining industry for a stint and this was not acceptable. I waited. I then had to flag the waitress again. I asked her to take my plate and warm it up and to bring our entrees at the same time. I noted it was rude and discourteous to bring my entree out 10-minutes before and I had to sit there while my food got cold. So now, we were being ignored. Not just ignored, discriminated. All the other tables filled with Caucasians and being waited on by our waitress were getting more attention whereas I had to flag our waitress down. Another woman stepped in, a brunette, who was very gracious. I said "Why didn't we get her as our waitress?" She took our dessert order. I wanted to try the butter cake. Very disappointing. My girlfriend had to ask for a knife to cut the cake because it was so hard. I was thinking we recieved a dessert that was old sitting in the back. It wasn't just me. My girlfriend felt it too. I am a generous tipper and left less than 15%. It was very disheartening that in 2025 racism is still so prevalent. I'm a business owner and a minority. I wish they could feel what we feel when this happens. Our entrees were delicious but the service left a bad taste in our mouth. Very disappointed with the Shift Kitchen & Bar. Also, why is the Ahi Tuna $58? I can buy a pack of four from Sam's Club for $20, throw some seasoning and sear at home. Ahi Tuna on any menu should be an appetizer and around $18. They are reaching on this menu item.

My wife and I recently dined (July 2025) at Shift Kitchen & Bar in Flagstaff, Arizona, and it was a memorable experience that blended unique flavors with a cozy, upscale vibe. Shift delivered a meal that was mostly impressive, though not without a minor hiccup. We started with the Duck Taquitos ($13.00), and while the presentation was inviting, this appetizer was our least favorite. They weren’t bad, but we wouldn’t order them again. For our main courses, I opted for the Wine Burger ($23.00) and the burger hit all the right spots for satisfying my burger craving. The real standout, though, was the pickled fries, which added a zing and crunch. I’d rate this dish a solid 4.5 out of 5. My wife chose the Pork Chop ($35.00)and it was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with the nice sauce that would been even better with a little more of it on the dish. She gave it a well-deserved 4.5 out of 5. The highlight of the evening was dessert: the Griddled Blue Corn Cake ($13.00) with roasted grapes, caramelized white chocolate, and pecorino gelato. This dish was a revelation—unique, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything we’ve had before. A definite 5-star dessert that we’d go back to get again and again. We also enjoyed Shift’s cocktails, which stood out for their creative ingredients and flawless execution. Our only gripe was the timing of the main courses. My burger arrived a good 5 to 10 minutes before my wife’s pork chop, which disrupted the flow of our meal. While not a dealbreaker, it was a noticeable misstep in an otherwise stellar experience. Overall, Shift Kitchen & Bar delivered a fantastic dining experience with bold, creative dishes and a warm atmosphere. We’d rate our meal a 4.5 out of 5 and will definitely return—especially for that blue corn cake. If you’re in Flagstaff and craving something inventive, Shift is a must-visit. Note: Prices and menu items reflect our visit in July 2025.

This one is definitely worth the hype!! And they better managed the line compared to yesterday's bakery spot...The first Saturday of the month is their bake sale, have to get there early before they sell out!! We got the croque madame burrito... all the flavors together were amazing!! They won't have a bake sale in November, but can't wait to come back!!

the food and service were fantastic. We sat at the Chefs counter and was able to chat with the kitchen staff about the dishes they were preparing. I've got to figure out how to make the sunflower seed risotto - that was amazing as was the smoked mussels and porkchop!

Three of us visited recently with mixed results. We didn't have a reservation so were led to the back room which is not all that comfortable. The young woman who waited on us did not seem to be fully capable. We asked for refills on our drinks and she brought them one at a time. Food was pretty good, but very limited selections. People rave about the pickled fries, but to me they appeared to be fries with pickle juice on them. Nothing special in my opinion. The scallops were terrific, the burger impressive, and the Dragon wine was quite good. Not sure we would go back again.

I was surprised to have such a good wine bar experience in Flagstaff. Julia is a fantastic conversationalist and made the experience very worthwhile for my stop on my trip. If I lived in the area, this would be a primary hangout for me. I recommend stopping by if you like wine and good conversation.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! It's easy to miss since it's upstairs downtown but you absolutely must try it. Amazing wine and beer selection and amazing food. An incredible selection of games, definitely the best at a bar. The ambiance cannot be beat. This is definitely a place to go on a date, hang out with friends, or even just chill and do homework. The staff is fantastic - super well educated on wine. Love this place!!!!

Such a great spot for delicious wines and an even better food menu items. We came in for a glass of wine while we walked the downtown streets of Flagstaff, but were pleasantly surprised with not only their vast wine selection, but also the great atmosphere and menu. We will definitely be back. There were so many things to choose from, we opted for the oysters, hummus and meatballs and loved it all. Oh! ... and don''t forget to try the sorbet at the end.

We loved the wine and service from the friendly staff, but here was the big surprise - the food was GREAT too. The mushroom Alfredo pasta was to die for and a bigger than I expected. The meatballs were huge (albeit a bit cold) and the risotto quite tasty. Priced reasonably. Back to the wine…lots of options so buy it by the glass or pick out a bottle to buy there and open for a $10 corkage fee. Very cozy and comfortable vibe. VictorB

Started off that it could be nice, but boy were we wrong. Called ahead to see if there was a wait. “Nope, we’re a bar, no wait at all.” Beautiful room, up some weird rickety carpeted stairs (not wheelchair accessible) in an old apartment building. Beautiful long room, very dimly lit, empty at first. We got a table for our party, got some plates and utensils. Took a little bit to review the menu and then placed our orders at the bar. The older gray/white haired man with glasses and a ponytail was running around like crazy, and seemed to be extremely distracted and wearing too many hats. Would walk away multiple times from us at the bar as we each placed our order, changing the vinyl record player, cleaning up dishes, etc. Was very rude and abrupt to some in our party. Half of our party ordered our food at 7:12pm (per our receipt) and we did not get it until 8:46pm. We were sitting by the kitchen, open view, and the two young men working in the kitchen definitely seemed extremely overworked and probably underpaid. They worked fast and well, and I guess our ticket got completely lost. Half of our party got their food shortly after ordering. The other half did not. The server in the beanie hat with a beard also seemed to be overworked and running around like crazy, nice and polite, but told us about 1 hour into our wait for our meal that one of the items we had ordered had run out and they could refund it or substitute it. One in our party kindly but sternly asked the staff to refund those in the party whose meal was an hour and a half late, which they did thankfully. But any other restaurant worth their salt would have already apologized and offered to comp the extremely late meal without us asking. Once we finally got our meal, the house potato fingerlings were horribly tough. They were worse than when you over cook a baked potato in the microwave. If we were not starving, they would have been inedible. Part of the meal that was an hour and a half late was a charcuterie board….that should have been out immediately!!! The music was way too loud and overpowering. As we waited for our meal, other tables came and went, were served and changed and refilled and emptied. The bathrooms were large and down a lonely deserted hall, so definitely take a buddy. The server in the beanie and the kitchen staff did their jobs well enough, we don’t fault them. But definitely ridiculous. Gray haired bar man, rude and abrupt. Never even apologized to us at all. They keep credit cards for your tab if you have one. Don’t return it until closing the tab. They had some gluten free menu items, but again, who knows if they are any good normally; our food was overdone, and extremely late.

Listen, people are making this sound like a Mecca. It's very nice, worth the visit, but nothing extraordinary for sure. A decent selection of wines by the glass. About 10 or so for red and white and a few bubbly. Prices are anywhere from $10 on up which I suppose is normal these days. Good selection of wines but an emphasis on French and Italian for sure. I was surprised that the wines are not in a vacuum sealed casing considering they only sell them by the glass to keep them fresh. Wines were room temperature which made the red ones a tad warm. The food was good but honestly nothing out of this world. The scallops of which there were three, were served on a bed of street corn which was basically just corn sauteed in butter. $32. Little pricey should have been low twenties. Same thing with the meatballs. They were very good but there were three of them and the price point should have been a lot less. You order at the bar which was fine. Waited quite a while for the peach cobbler which was just okay. Atmosphere is very cozy. My biggest complaint is the music. I don't know why all bars feel the responsibility to play music loud enough to where you have to shout to be heard. It wasn't just that. It was the selection of music. It was like a modern version of the doors which some may love but it just felt weird in a tiny space like this. All in all it was good but I've been there once and I don't need to go back there again.
DRock — Google review
The food and dessert here are absolutely amazing. I came about a week and a half ago and had a fantastic experience, which is why I was excited to bring my family in today. Unfortunately, the service this time was downright disappointing. The lady working the bar on 9/16/25 started out fine, but when it came time to pay, I was sitting there with my card in hand when she loudly called out, “I need someone to pay the tab.” even though I was clearly waiting to do so. Again, I was still seated holding my card in my hand not going anywhere, even if my family got up to leave.. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional, especially when trying to give my family the same great experience I had before. The food is excellent and unique, but I hope the service can be more consistent so it matches the quality of the kitchen. Left a bad taste in my mouth for wanting to go back with friends, family or clients.

Brewery Dark Sky Brewing Co. offers unique pub fare and house-brewed beers in a hip, industrial setting in downtown Flagstaff. The Taproom is popular for pre or post-show drinks, and the beer names are interesting and taste great.
Stopped in at Dark Sky Brewing on a winter day while road-tripping from Canada on a mountain bike adventure. Woke up to 10 inches of snow, which meant no riding—but sometimes the second-best option turns out to be an absolute win. And this brewery? It delivered. First, let’s talk beer. I ordered a flight with a sour, a hefeweizen, and two IPAs. Every single one was solid, but I have to give a special shoutout to the hefeweizen—as someone who grew up in Germany, I know a good one when I taste it, and this one hit the mark. Cloudy, smooth, full of that classic banana-clove balance—just fantastic. The sour was also top-tier, tart and refreshing, exactly how I love them. And the IPAs? Both were great, but the hazy IPA stole the show for me—juicy, aromatic, and super well-balanced. And then—the food. Oh. My. Pizza. I ordered the Margherita, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best pizza I’ve had in years. Perfectly blistered crust, just the right amount of chew, fresh toppings, and that wood-fired magic that elevates everything. You know it’s a good pie when the simplest one on the menu still leaves you speechless. We also had a salad and a bowl of olives, which were a great complement to the meal—fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned. The atmosphere here is exactly what you want in a brewery—cozy, welcoming, and buzzing with good energy. And the staff? Super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to chat about the beers. If you find yourself in Flagstaff—whether you're skiing, biking, hiking, or just passing through—Dark Sky Brewing is a must-visit. Great beer, phenomenal pizza, and the kind of place you immediately want to come back to. Highly recommend!

Stopped by and had a few beers with my wife while listening to some live music. Chad was our bartender and had a terrific personality and was quite professional. He made some terrific recommendations and we went with the beer choices which were similar in flavor to an IPA for me and a blonde for my wife. We had a few rounds and enjoyed our time at the Brewery. Highly recommended

It's probably more of a 4-star experience. Both the fries and tasters were fine. They get an extra star for being an outlier and taking the hard stance of 'No kids.'

The is the second time I've been to Dark Sky in the last 10 years. I don't remember them having two different locations and that threw me off as they are right next to each other and i only remember the smaller, indoor only, location that had a really good Girl Stout cookie beer. This time we loved the out door seating and dog friendly garden but the layout was confusing and cramped to go in and order. Food was good but costly. Nachos outside with a breeze cooled the cheese so rapidly that it turned to a brick quicker than iI could finish them but the bites I did have were great. Schnitzel sandwhich was excellent. The beer on tap didn't really sway me for the flight that I chose but I that could just the the selection of the time.

Nice little taproom with a fun atmosphere. Staff was friendly. I got a flight and I enjoyed all the beers I had. Good live music. They also share a space with Pizzacleta so you can get pizza or apps while enjoying your beer. The only thing negative about my experience was that on the day we visited they had 4-5 taps that were out, which was disappointing because a lot of them were beers that I was looking forward to trying. But overall I would absolutely recommend stopping by this brewery, and I look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in the area!

This was our first visit. Interesting place…it’s a little a confusing, with two businesses in the same space and getting two checks, one for the drinks, and the other for the food. The aesthetic of the space is great and it has a great vibe. No hostess to be found when we arrived and when she finally approached she wasn’t friendly at all. The Pizzicletta service was underwhelming and the server took a long time to come around and take our order, he came when we were almost done with our beers. The server for the brewery was amazing, friendly, and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend the Rye’d Open Spaces beer. It was a great recommendation from our server. The pizza itself was good but we ordered three and still didn’t get full. It’s paper thin pizza and on the small side. We ordered two of the Bee’s Knees, which were delicious. The bacon and shallot pizza was average and I wouldn’t order it again. We also ordered the gelato flight…pretty good, especially the sea salt chocolate gelato.

I really LOVED the simple salad and the margarita pizza! We drove from Phoenix, all the way to Sedona and stopped here for a quick bite before continuing to the Grand Canyon, simple but worth it!

Excellent food and drinks. Especially for gluten sensitive or gluten free. The Nashville hot chicken was awesome, wouldn't even know it was GF. Only recommendation, I didn't realize some of the beers were GR from the sign. Saw it online so check the tap menu online as well for GF and GR beer options

Very fresh and tasty breakfast! I loved my soy latte and the avocado toast—both were excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed; you can pretty much sit wherever you like, place your order, and they bring the food to you. Everyone in our group was happy with their meals. A great spot for a casual, satisfying start to the day.

Savory croissant waffle was delicious, full of flavor, and not overly decadent. Pistachios were a nice touch for a bit of crunch without taking away from the flavor of the croissant. The maple syrup had a very mild spice that didn't overpower and wasn't too sweet. Came here on a Sunday before noon and the wait was 45 minutes but worth it for such a high quality meal. Tinder coffee was great as well - just a hint of sweetness from the pistachio syrup.

Great small hip restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. The food was really delicious and tasted freshly made. It gets super busy and food can take a while to be out. The only thing I didnt like was having to wait in line all over again to order another drink. Other than that everything was really good. The waiters and waitresses were friendly not too much interaction but it fits the service.
Carlos O — Google review
The food was decent, but definitely overpriced for the portion sizes. The presentation is pretty, but the quality and quantity don’t match the price point. We paid about $60 for these 3 simple plates (not including coffee), which felt a bit unfair. I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it, but honestly, it’s a bit overhyped… I will say they have great customer service and very welcoming.

The croque madame was 5 stars. I wanted to order a Thai tea latte without ice (dental problems with ice cubes). The person who took my order told me that they could not make the drink without ice but she would request “little ice”. Fine, I scooped out the ice cubes after it was brought to my table. From the picture you can tell how much ice was in that “latte with little ice”. Also, when the latte was brought to me, I could tell it was a wrong order before tasting it (not a Thai tea). They re-made it for me. Here is what really got me. She added 20% tips on my card without my knowledge. That is a very bad practice. Glad she told me when I was going to put cash in the tip jar, but adding tips without the customer’s knowledge?!

The soft pretzels were amazing! I liked the atmosphere here. The main course was just alright. I got the margarita chicken, it was good, but the chicken was a little dry. My partner got the burger. Recently stopped in to Beaver Street for the first time, and we really enjoyed it! The whole place doesn't give off the typical brewery vibe. The inside is nice but definitely feels more like a family restaurant. There is a bar area with seating as well as a covered outdoor patio in the back. The service was excellent our whole meal. I tried their flight of 6 different beers since it was my first time. Pretty good-sized pours, honestly. I enjoyed most of the options I chose! Food wise, we were very impressed! Not only did the food come out quickly, but it was all delicious! We tried the Chicken Club Sandwich and the Prosciutto Pear Pizza. Great portions. Would absolutely order these again! So good! The Truffle Fries are worth the up charge, trust me. Even the kids' meals were good sizes and prices too. Overall, it's a good option to check out in downtown Flag!

Okay selection and quality brews here. Don't remember all what was on the flight, but both the Red and the Stout stood out. Dense, amazing pretzel sticks, or really, more like pretzel logs, here. Cheese dip consistency was super thick like wet concrete and was supposed to be jalapeño? Barely got a hint of spice. Service was fantastic and friendly.

Established by Winnie and Evan Hanseth, the brewery offers a variety of award-winning beers including 7 mainstay brews, seasonal selections, limited releases, and their latest creation - Hazy Angel IPA.
This place was full on a Sunday afternoon but for the 4 of us, (2 adults and 2 kids), there was only a 15 minute wait. The food was great and the server was attentive and friendly. The kids menu also has a lot of options! The parking situation includes paid street parking and it is $1 per hour.

Located in downtown Flagstaff, this restaurant offers a great dining experience, though parking can be a bit tricky. Just a heads up, the train passes by frequently, about every five minutes, so be prepared for some noise. The restaurant itself is spacious and very clean. There’s a lovely outdoor dining area and a separate space dedicated to the bar and brewery. The food was excellent! My husband enjoyed a hearty meat plate, my son had a flavorful pulled pork sandwich, and I ordered the mushroom burger, which was delicious. For appetizers, we shared a side of chili and some Brussels sprouts, both were fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

We had lunch there the other day, after not being there for the longest time. Service was spot on and the food came out really quick. I had wings, which were perfectly cooked. I think they make them then flash fry them, so they come out perfectly cooked and not oily at all. My girlfriend has the mahi sandwich which she really enjoyed. We took garlic fries with it and they were piping hot. Fast service, great beer, great atmosphere. Highly recommended bar food.

Great stop with wonderful service and delicious food. We came fairly close to opening and had no issue getting a table near the bar. Our server came over quickly to take drink orders and allow time to decide our food orders. We opted for some a side salad, hot wings, pretzels and my husband and I to share the campfire meal with chicken, pulled pork, green beans, Mac and cheese and a yummy jalapeño cornbread muffin. They had many beers on tap which included sour beer. Everything came out quickly. The chicken was a bit dry but better with the bbq sauce. Everything else was really good. I think our favorite honestly was the green beans and pork. Man n cheese stayed saucy which I loved. It did taste like velveeta which who cares as long as not dried out and flavorless. We liked it. The only negative for us was that their parking lot that you think would be free is a paid lot. Unless you’re lucky to find a free spot and walk it’s your only option. This is unfortunately a price you’ll pay for exploring downtown.

AMAZING! Just here for the weekend and I'm so glad we stopped at Lumberyard! Great food, fast & friendly service, and a good atmosphere. We thought we had to pay for parking (like most reviews stated) but since we arrived near 8pm, the host said it was free! We ordered the Mahi sandwich, Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Club Mac, and for dessert, the Banana Pudding (to go). Soooo good! Yes, the train runs consistently but I think it adds to the outdoorsy vibe. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Flagstaff.

Even brought out a "birthday jar" of banana pudding to surprise our daughter. Food was hot and everything we got was delicious. No wait time for our party of 6 either. Staff is all very upbeat and helpful. You can tell this place is run by some cool people. Excellent service all around.

Wow. What an elegant experience. I came into this bar to enjoy a fine crisp ale along with watching some Sunday night football. Steelers vs packers tonight, Aaron Rodger’s is going to see what he can do against his former team. I’ve had a pretty long day of schoolwork, & I have a pretty busy schedule for the next few weeks so I needed to relax and turn the ol brain off. Walking into the bar of this restaurant completely took my breath away. The bartenders (Mitch, Ada, Jeffery) were extremely attentive and graced me with a beer that blew my hair back. I’m tell you, this beer was finer than frog hairs split four ways. The only thing that could be improved is the TV size, but I’m not taking off any stars because I’m not a man that goes onto the internet to complain. Give these bartenders a raise and trade Kyler Murray, we can finish the season with Brissett & figure out another QB, Kyler is not our guy. We’re lucky we’re on a bye week to give us a break from getting absolutely lit up.

Cocktails were overly sweet, not well balanced. Chicken sandwich was very dry. Mac and cheese was more paste-like instead of creamy-cheesy Boneless wings were great! Good service, really great patio. Cool spot to hang with friends, lower your food expectations.

We started with the Stracciatella and meatballs both were delicious 😋 Up next is the marmalade pizza 🍕 😋 excellent recommendation 👌 all the flavors paired perfectly! Definitely worth the drive and wait! Make reservations as we got right in!

I wanted to love this place but we got pizza, and I like a thin crust that doesn't flop. Their crust is thin but it flops like crazy. It's wood fired pizza which is cool but it was too charred (black char) for us. Maybe we'd like it if the wood fired oven wasn't quite so hot. If you like a burnt char taste then it could be for you. Service was good...people seemed nice...and the atmosphere is awesome. Really cool looking pizza oven. They said they keep it between 800-900 degrees.

My wife had the Belgio pizza which she loved and said it was one of the best pizzas ever. I ordered the special and after a wait was told they had sold out thirty minutes prior to my order although the special board was still up. They replaced the special with the lasagna. I found the lasagna, which was mostly mozzarella cheese unsatisfactory. I understand it was one of their best sellers but the cheese just took over the dish. I did not ask for a discount but Mike our server took it off the bill. The salad was excellent and I would go there again and try something different. As a side note Mike was great and deserves a perfect review and brought this rating from a 4.5 to a 5.

Fat Olives Restaurant Fat Olives is another of those restaurants made infamous by a visit by Guy Fieri. My wife ordered the Belgio Dolce Pizza (one of Guy’s top choices) and an ice tea. I ordered the Chicken Ensalada along with a House Made Italian Soda (Blackberry). The food was fantastic. The manager was very friendly and was very pleased with my post dinner review. The service left a little to be desired. But the waiter was new so I’ll give him a little slack. We had to ask for extra napkins twice and our drinks didn’t manage to be delivered to our table until we were about ½ way finished after we reminded the waiter that he hadn’t brought them to us.. (Waiters/waitresses were responsible for making and delivering the drinks at lunch time. We had tried to have dinner here the previous night but they didn’t take reservations and the wait was 1.5 hours if you wanted to at there. We called ahead at lunch time but could not reach a person. We were led to believe that no seating was available until after 8:00PM that night. We drove there just in case and found there was no waiting. I told the manager and he was shocked by our findings. He was going to look into and fix the problem right away. 10% discount is available to Vets, police, and first responders.

This place is absolutely spectacular! I have a gluten sensitivity and was able to eat a pizza without having any digestion issues. The food is amazing, everything from their appetizers, salad, pasta, and pizza. I would recommend splitting something with whoever you go with so that you can try different things. Definitely get there early as they get very busy and there can be a long wait. The food is reasonably priced, at about $17 for a pizza or pasta meal.

Make a reservation. The place gets packed. There is a parking lot to park so that's convenient. Went on a Friday night around 7pm and the wait for two people was 45 minutes (we got seated in 25). Note that the high top tables and bar seats are reservation only as well. So you can't even walk up and sit at a bar seat. Food was good. Got the Misses Piggy pizza and another pizza. Also got the rigatoni. Pizza was a bit floppy in middle and probably couldn't have been cooked a couple minutes longer. Rigatoni with ragu sauce and sausage was very good. Side Cesar was a good size for 2 people to share. I would come back. Apparently Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives came and ate here and featured this place on the show.

I enjoyed some Happy Hour Caprese meatballs - they were delicious. So was my stracciatella!! My margaritas were so good! I sit at the bar every time - quick easy seating.. bartender is busy and efficient. This place is great! Enjoy photos from years gone by, of course I will return especially now that I see that pizza!!

Not only was our food exceptional, Morgan was the best waitress. She made sure our appetizers, entrees, and desserts were well timed. Our drinks were always topped off, and she had the perfect balance of attentiveness without being remotely annoying. Thank you Morgan for a wonderful dining experience.

Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery is a beloved spot in Flagstaff, offering a cozy atmosphere and a diverse menu. Whether you're craving espresso drinks or looking for vegan and gluten-free options, Macy's has something for everyone. The cafe is known for its delicious pastries like the apple pie croissant and French cinnamon rolls, as well as hearty dishes such as biscuits and gravy.
Fun café! The place was busy but the line moved fast. Wide menu of coffee drinks. My flat white was rich and flavorful. They have a separate line for coffee only which was nice. We had yogurt fruit and a waffle. All were very good. We ate outside and met folks from all over.

Good food. A little cramped space wise, they are fast with care of customers. Cappuccino was good. They didn’t have vanilla flavoring but had other choices to sweeten it. Biscuits and gravy were very filling! Love that they shaped it into a heart. It was delicious.

Definitely yeah one of the more popular places. The Americano was absolutely perfect. The egg and cheese croissant was also excellent. Very simple and full of flavor. I can see why they're always so damn busy

This was a nice spot to enjoy a coffee. It’s homey and a locals favorite. It was packed on a Saturday. My oatmilk latte with tax and tip was $7.60.

This is my favorite place in America. We first stopped here 7 years ago and now I make it a point to detour through Flagstaff every time I'm driving across the country so we can stop at Macy's! I love the vegetarian food, the perfect coffee, the amazing town, and the lovely service! Do yourself a favor and visit Macy's- you'll thank me later!

Stopped by on a Tuesday morning for coffees. I got a large iced dirty chai and one of their blackberry chia seed bran muffins. I will say I was expecting the large iced size drink to be bigger. The chai was a little watery but overall it was a good drink. The bran muffin was yummy but I wish they’d offered to warm it up. Such a sweet little coffee shop, maybe a little cramped but it has so much character.

Brix Restaurant & Wine Bar is a charming venue known for its extraordinary dining experience and attentive staff. The restaurant offers delicious, locally sourced dishes with delicate flavors and artistic plating, showcasing the top-notch skills of their chefs. Guests praise the superb food, including housemade bread, duck, steak, creme brulee, and raspberry sorbet. The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it a popular choice for special occasions like small wedding receptions.
One of my all time fav spots in Flag… Brix. Always sit in the bar…Rebecca is a great bartender, and watch the line do their thing. Started with papas bravas and smoked elk tataki. Wife ordered the mushroom-guanciale pasta and I got the K4 ribeye with bone marrow and wild muahrooms. This place never disappoints. A must stop when you are up here 🤙

This is a fantastic place! Each time we have come, the service and food have been the same consistently high caliber. Yesterday, our server, Matt, orchestrated the perfect cadence of food and drink delivery coupled with checking in on any needs. Last night, with pre-dinner drinks, we had a cheese board of three cheeses to snack on while we enjoyed our drinks. Once ordered, our meal courses were delivered allowing enough time to enjoy, but not allowing too long of time between to wait. I had the seasonal soup, a Poblano pepper/turnip soup.My wife had the Spring vegetable salad as a meal. It was plenty (except she did hit my plate a few times). I do want to mention that salad was unbalanced with too much carrot, but still delicious. I had the whole Branzino. It was cooked perfectly. Charred nicely on the outside giving the skin a great crunch, a juicy, tender interior and it was filled with a wild rice that was the perfect compliment. After all that, We were too stuffed for dessert. I will continue to return every time I visit Flagstaff. The pictures included here are from last night and last year.

I visited on a weekday and the front of the restaurant was empty so I had to wait for a host or staff person to greet me. I walked around near the outdoor area of the restaurant before a staff person noticed me. Once greeted I was promptly seated outside on the patio which is a nice garden space. Being outside there were quite a few flies and gnats that increased as I was being served food (a fly flew and got stuck in my glass of wine but it was promptly exchanged for another glass once I let the staff know). The menu is farm to table and you can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients. I didn't enjoy the Caesar salad as the leaves were large and spilling off and out of the plate making it a little messy to eat. The bolognese was presented well and was very good. I did try the non alcoholic cocktail pomegranate lavender which was nearly flavorless but the red wine I chose was amazing. There is a parking lot at restaurant and street parking nearby

There was a time when Brix was my number 1 restaurant I had dined at in the United States versus restaurants from San Francisco to New York City. I had dined with Brix several times because the food was phenomenal, artistic and incomparable to its surroundings. I am under the impression that there is a different Chef or the Chef has lost passion. We ordered the duck entree, which had been ordered in 2021. The comparison of the presentation reveals it's lackluster artistic presence. The plate was a disaster with dry seasoning scattered all over the plate. The recommendation was to offer the duck medium, which is was well done and extremely gamey. When I arrived, I noticed that on a Friday, it seemed very slow at 7pm. In past times, the restaurant had a wait. This prompted me to order the burger in addition to the duck, because I did not trust the price points. I ordered the burger medium rare. This also was well done and the beef had grill fragments cooked with it. The creme brulee had a great presentation, but the ginger recipe produced a strong after taste that was too bold and contradicts the sweet and creamy expectation. The service was great and prompt. Unfortunately, Brix is no longer going to be a destination restaurant for me, and it really saddens me to see this. The heart of the restaurant will always be your executive chef. With all the improvements in the expansion and the ambience, the quality and artistry of the food has declined abruptly.

my absolute favorite place to eat when i visit my family in flagstaff, and it never fails to impress me. i am always blown away by the creativity and flavor profiles of each dish. the service is always excellent, while the location and ambiance (especially on the outdoor patio in midsummer) is second to none. my family and i went to brix to celebrate my birthday, and i couldn't think of a better place to have a special dinner if i tried—and this is coming from someone who lives in the foodie town of portland, oregon. we started with smoked elk tataki, bison meatballs, smoked asparagus, gözleme, and a cheese plate, all of which were fabulous. the elk, asparagus, and gözleme were the standouts for me, but i genuinely enjoyed all of the starter dishes. my parents shared the steak salad, which was not only gorgeous to photograph but filling and tasty; the steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare. i had the malloreddus, which is very possibly my favorite pasta dish i've had at brix; that is saying a lot because i pretty consistently order a pasta dish when i visit. the lamb neck ragu, green chickpeas, and mint alongside the pasta created such a complex but harmonious dish, and even though by that point in the dinner i was absolutely stuffed, i kept eating because of how much i enjoyed it. lastly, i forgot to take pictures because i got too excited, but we also had the date cake, lemon sorbet, and crème brûlée, and everything was fabulous. i am a sucker for crème brûlée and this one really satisfied me. 10/10 no notes. my family and i could not eat close to everything we ordered, so the waiter very kindly offered to box everything up for us to have the next day. to say i'm excited for round two is an understatement. in conclusion, after all these years, eating at brix remains such a unique and fun dining experience. i can't wait to return.

Brix is an amazing restaurant. My Hubby and I have been going there since they opened 18 years ago. The food is so good, service amazing and sitting at the bar is our favorite place to eat! If you love wine you won’t be disappointed. Plus there’s tons of parking! We did rent the upstairs for a private party and loved every minute of it. The staff at Brix set it up beautifully and we had a terrific time.

My husband and I had dinner at Brix to try the food and check out the venue for our small wedding reception. The food is superb and the servers are wonderful. We had the housemade bread, the duck, the steak, the creme brulee, and the raspberry sorbet. The chef there is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I had never tried duck, but we can say with confidence that it is one of our favorite dishes here. We fell in love with the warm, charming atmosphere and we were so excited for our big day! The set up for our reception was seamless and so accommodating. We worked with Rebecca to figure out pricing and details about the menu and set up. She was so incredibly helpful and made the whole process more enjoyable than you would expect. We used the loft and it was so cozy beautiful. Our family and friends were so impressed with everything and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you again to everyone there for helping us create such wonderful memories!

My husband was so excited to find this place for my birthday weekend, and after seeing the reviews I was too, but it was ultimately a lackluster experience. We were the first table there that evening, the service was pleasant, she shared the specials and brought us our drinks but didn’t go the extra mile of asking what brought us in that evening or asking if we would like any recommendations. As soon as other diners started coming in, we watched multiple servers bounce around to check on them several times, while we were left unattended. After the entree’s were delivered, they never came back to check on us to ask if we needed another cocktail or see if the meat was cooked to our specifications. I ordered the steak frites, medium rare. For $50 the steak portion was small, and it was overcooked to a medium/medium-well. Half the plate was fries and the other half was greens. After seeing the presentation of the bravas and the duck, I was underwhelmed. My husband ordered the duck, it was cooked well, he said the eggplant was the shining star of the dish though as the duck itself fell a little bland with flavor. I didn’t think it was worth staying to see how the dessert would play out. Overall, it was an ok meal, but was expecting a much better experience given the price point.

Satchmo's is a casual cafe in Flagstaff that exudes a New Orleans atmosphere and serves up delectable slow-smoked BBQ and gumbo. It's a haven for lovers of Cajun, Creole, and barbecue cuisine. The restaurant offers an array of dishes including brisket, cast-iron-made cornbread, Andouille sausage poboy, po boys, catfish, jambalaya, ribs, and brisket.
Satchmo’s BBQ – Flagstaff, AZ If you’re in Flagstaff and looking for authentic Southern comfort food, Satchmo’s is a must. From the moment you walk in, the smell of smoked meats and spices lets you know you’re in for something special. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming—no frills, just great food and friendly service. I ordered the catfish and gumbo, and both were absolutely outstanding. The catfish was perfectly fried—crispy golden crust on the outside, moist and flaky on the inside. It wasn’t greasy at all, and the seasoning had just the right kick. Easily some of the best I’ve had outside the Deep South. The gumbo was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Loaded with sausage, chicken, and just the right amount of spice, it had that homemade taste that’s hard to find. You can tell they put real care and soul into every bite. Sides were on point too—cornbread was moist with a slight sweetness, and the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. Service was quick and friendly, even with a steady crowd. It’s clear that Satchmo’s is a local favorite, and now I see why. Whether you’re passing through or live nearby, this is a spot worth stopping for. Southern flavor done right in the heart of Arizona. Highly recommend the catfish and gumbo, but honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

Ribs are very soft but the sauce are quite normal. Sweet bbq is better than the spicy one. The Jambalaya are quite good and has an interesting taste. Lemonade is quite good too. Burnt ends although are crispy but they are too dry, would not recommend.

Nice little place. We got 1/2 lb of pulled pork. It comes with 4 slider rolls. It was pretty good. They had spicy and sweet sauce, and while I like spicy things, the sweet was definitely better. We also got a side of their smoked baked beans. They were just ok.

Incredible service. The guys here were very attentive, and knew the food inside and out. Very easy recommendations and explanations for somone who has had many styles of ribs. Mac n cheese was quality, and the tot crunch perfectly complimented it. BBQ sauce was great too. Ribs were tender, but not mushy for "fall off the bone" ribs. It's a shame i don't live around here.

Service was friendly and fast, food was amazing! The lemonade had the right amount of sweet and tart, the jalapeno cornbread was moist, the mac n cheese was cheesy and the crust impeccable. Highly recommended 👌

Really enjoyed the food. My wife and I shared the ribs, brisket, red beans and rice, and tots. I had the King Gumbo to myself because my wife is allergic to seafood. Our favorite was definitely the ribs. Satchmo’s is a neat little hole-in-the-wall that serves up excellent Cajun and BBQ. Cool vibe and friendly staff. Go there, you won’t be disappointed and your stomach will thank you.

If you know you know. If you don't, then by all means come check this place out. The food is so good. Lots of flavor and worth the price. I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed at all. The menu is small and that is part of the appeal for me. What they do make, they make so good.

My family of five tried the gumbo and chicken strips with tots, which were amazing. But the brisket, bbq sauces, blackened shrimp po’ boy and mac n’ cheese were.to.die.for… I will crave this place and it will be a destination spot for my family anytime we visit the area.

Karma Sushi Bar Grill is a cozy Japanese eatery located on the Route 66 strip in Flagstaff. It's known for its tantalizing selection of sushi, but also offers options for non-sushi lovers. Voted as the best sushi in Flagstaff in 2019, Karma Sushi Bar Grill is renowned for its fresh and exotic tasting sushi, including signature rolls like the Lucy.
Wonderful atmosphere, the ramen noodles in the ramen were absolutely delicious. There weren’t too many toppings which is oddly satisfying because you can really focus on the broth and noodles. A bit expensive but I think the atmosphere makes up for it. Probably would only go during happy hour though, just for the sake of prices :)

We stopped by Karma Sushi Bar Grill in Flagstaff and overall had a good experience. We ordered the Karma and Instant Karma sushi rolls, along with the lobster tempura bites from their specials menu. The lobster bites were tasty but were mostly breading, especially for the $18 price point. The ramen was good, but the noodles were a little different than what we expected. As for the sushi, the flavors were good but the rice was a bit mushy this time around. That said, the service was great. Thomas did an excellent job letting us know that the sushi bar was a bit backed up, so we really appreciated the communication. They brought out our ramen first, and about 15 minutes later our sushi and appetizer arrived. We’ve been to Karma before and have had great experiences, so it seems like they were just extra busy this time. We’ll definitely be back

We stopped by Karma Sushi Bar Grill and ordered the Volcano Roll the Vegas Roll and some edamame to start. Everything was fresh and flavorful but the highlight of the night was definitely the Vegas Roll. The combination of textures and flavors was perfectly balanced and it stood out as one of the best rolls I have had in a long time. The Volcano Roll was also tasty and had a nice kick but the Vegas Roll was truly unforgettable. Beyond the food the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It really added to the overall experience and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. If you enjoy sushi this place offers a good mix of creative rolls and classic favorites. For me it was the Vegas Roll that set the bar so high and it is the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after you leave.

The service here was very good. The workers were nice, professional, and the food came quickly. The fish here is great, but the rice is not sticky or sushi rice so the rolls and nigiri were falling apart. They have changed their 12 pc nigiri combo, you no longer get 12 types of fish, but 6 types, which was disappointing. The fried rice had good flavor but the rice was overcooked and mushy. Could have been an off night with the rice, but the flavors were good and fish was fresh. The best thing I had was the Surf and Turf roll. That wagyu beef tartar is amazing.

The Toasted Owl Cafe is a charming breakfast and lunch spot located in an old wooden house on 12 Mikes Pike. The cafe offers a diverse menu with options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free dietary needs. The funky decor of the cafe reflects the founder's fascination with owl art, which can be seen throughout the building. Additionally, visitors can enjoy brunch on the sun-drenched porch or grab a post-bike ride lunch.
Its a rather unique establishment. The owl theme is charming and they have it advertised that everything is for sale.Like the mug? Take it home! The wall art? For sale. The food is great, definately a favorite breakfast location. Be careful with the hot drinks, the hot chocolate was like liquid lava on my first sip. Overall its a great place with fair pricing

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Loved the atmosphere and decor. The service was quick and great. We sat outside and it was amazing; the murals and eclectic decor were “fun”. Food was good. The star was the biscuits and gravy dish which came highly recommended by a friend.

We enjoyed our breakfast. We got seated indoors right away (12:30 on a Friday). Turns out though that a group of six young women were seated behind us and their conversation was lively. We asked to move closer to the front door area. It was much better. And no shade to the young women, they were just catching up and having fun. Plus, the acoustics indoors is quite live. Our server Kayce B was super nice. She brought us waters and coffees right away. We'd already looked at reviews and knew we were splitting a Giant Cinnamon Roll and Breakfast Tacos with Roasted Potatoes. We placed our order and the Giant Cinnamon Roll came out right away. It was sweet and tasty but it was not giant (see pic). Eat the cinnamon roll as soon as it's placed as it turns hard after about 10 minutes. The meal came soon after. It was a lot of food and we're happy we split it. We had scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, ham and ham in our taco. They were served hot and with a cup of salsa on the side. The tacos were real tasty. The roasted potatoes were amazing. So happy they were oven roasted and not deep fried. They were perfectly cooked. Nice and creamy inside and seasoned well too. We have no plans to return to Flagstaff (been here a few times) but we recommend you give The Toasted Owl a try.

Honestly, I was super disappointed. I found this place on Google Maps and thought it would be great. The owl décor is cute, I’ll give them that. But we were told we had to wait 20 minutes and that the patio was “only for guests with pets.” Okay… except while we were waiting outside, we noticed only ONE table even had a pet. The other four or five tables didn’t. And THEN we watched other people come in with no pets and get seated outside. So… what was the reason again?? When we finally sat down, the server gave us menus, water, and coffee, and then just vanished. Nobody checked on us. Meanwhile, all the staff were standing at the front chatting like they were on break. The food? Super average. Definitely not worth the price. Plus they add an extra 5% service fee on top. And all the utensils are just sitting together on a metal rack that does not look clean. On top of that, there were flies everywhere—flying around and landing on the food. Not appetizing. So yeah… cute theme, but the actual experience? Not worth coming back. I still left tips that I shouldn’t. 😞

Eclectic spot with a funky vibe serving up diner staples. From a vegan perspective, I felt as though I only had a few options on the menu. There’s plenty more options for vegetarians! I opted for the vegetable breakfast burrito with no cheese. It was good, but felt like it was missing something. A lot of restaurants simply take ingredients out of dishes to make them vegan, which leaves a dish feeling underwhelming. Still appreciate having a food option in Flagstaff! All the food came out hot and tasted fresh, which I appreciate. The service was lovely with attentive servers and the place felt clean. If they added more dedicated vegan options to the menu I’d happily go back the next time I’m passing through Flagstaff.

I have mixed feelings about this spot. It is adorable, with fun decor and feels very cozy. My server Charlie was extremely nice and attentive. But the food was just ok. I tried the almond flour pancakes the veggie scramble. Neither were bad but both lacked flavor. The portions were generous and it seemed like a healthy meal. I have to mark them down significantly for deceptive hidden fees however. They charge a 5% service fee that doesn't go to the servers and isn't mentioned on the menu. I understand needing to raise prices for increasing costs, but that should be done in a clear manner such as increasing the cost of the meals on the menu. Hidden fees are simply unacceptable. Be clear about the cost. I would give them 4 stars if they weren't deceptive.
Nathan D — Google review
Update: We had to come back and have the breakfast and it did not disappoint. We got the breakfast tamales, they have a generous amount of meat and the green olive inside is just how mom made them. The pancake is perfection. It is huge and thick and delicious. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. It was very tasty, I wish it had been more on the spicy side but honestly great nonetheless. It was raining so we popped in and got some hot chocolate to go. I can't wait to come back and have a full breakfast because it smelled and looked SO good! It is so cute and eclectic inside and the patio is huge with plenty of tables and umbrellas.

Mother Road Brewing Company, established in 2011, draws its name from the moniker given to Route 66 by John Steinbeck. Founded by Michael Marquess and his wife Alissa, along with brewer Urs Riner, the brewery aims to create and distribute exceptional beers while honoring history, community, and the environment. Their taproom features art from local artists and occasionally hosts live music performances.
When we visit Flagstaff, Mother Road is a must stop. Always friendly staff, great beer (and cocktail!) selection. We tried the beer margarita slushy and ending up drinking 3 and staying for the live music. You can just tell it is a great place to work. I am surprised it took us so long to review. As a first-timer I am so glad I stumbled upon Mother Road Brewing Co.! The downtown location is absolutely perfect, and it's an easy and enjoyable spot to find. The moment we arrived, I was impressed by the awesome pet-friendly patio. There was plenty of seating for everyone, and it was great to see so many people enjoying the beautiful Flagstaff weather with their furry friends. The food was a total surprise in the best way. I wasn't expecting such an eclectic and delicious menu from a brewery, but everything we ordered was fantastic. From the flavorful street tacos to the perfectly crispy tater tots, the food was high quality without being ridiculously expensive. And of course, the beer selection was top-notch. They offer a great variety of craft beers, from their core brews to some exciting limited releases. I enjoyed getting to sample a few before settling on my favorite. Before we left, I also had to check out the merch. They have a fantastic offering of gear, and I found the perfect t-shirt to remember my visit. Mother Road Brewing Co. is a definite must-visit in Flagstaff

Headed up to Flagstaff over the weekend and decided to try Mother's Road Brewing and was not disappointed. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining. We chose indor since it was a little too brisk for the littles. I really liked the industrial rustic look and the atmosphere was great. To be honest, at first, we were a bit confused on the menu, but our server explained that we picked the type of entree we wanted, followed by the type of meat/veggie option(topper). I selected the tacos, my husband, the tostada, and my daughter, the hot dog. I LOVED MY TACOS! they were super delicious. The remoulade sauce was my favorite. The butchers belly pork was soft, and the flavor was amazing. My husband said the tostada was a bit difficult to eat, but that's to be expected since the base is crunchy, and every time he took a bite, it would break apart. Otherwise, he said he really enjoyed the flavors. Not complaints from my daughter on the hot dog. Our server was great, except she kept forgetting to get us our refills or waters when asked. We had to remind her a couple of times. I'm not sure if she has to put it through the bar, but that was the only annoying part. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be going again.

A food truck inspired BBQ/ Cajun joint on Route 66. The unlikely union works against the backdrop of a brewery featuring AL'S favorite- Tower Station IPA. These guys aren't going national anytime soon, so grab a table on their pet friendly patio as soon as you can.

Pros: Good atmosphere Cons: Unaccommodating menu Sub par beer (tried numerous) Small portion sizes Overall- Only come for a drink, the food ain’t it. My wife is gluten free and asked for no bread and lettuce instead (easy request) they delivered us slop. Please see included photo. Brisket was humiliating. Not worth it with so many breweries in walking distance.

Great, friendly service. Awesome beer selection (with full bar in case you want that). Food was also outstanding. Had tacos and the totchos. Yay

Great stop to make along Route 66 and bonus for being dog friendly! Great options to choose from, and food for order as well! Even with the cooler evening, they have heaters outside to warm you up.

Came here on Halloween evening, and we loved the vibe. All of the staff was super friendly! Shout out to the guy in the penguin costume & whoever was the waiter in the back room on Halloween night (I didn’t get either of their names). We didn’t try the food but the drinks were great! If we ever come back to flagstaff we will definitely be back here.

Vegan restaurant
Red Curry Vegan Kitchen is a cozy local cafe in Flagstaff, AZ, offering a vegan-friendly menu of authentic Thai dishes. The restaurant was created to provide the best of both worlds - genuine Thai flavors and an extensive vegan selection. Chef Suchhada Tirakul's passion for good food is evident in the inviting atmosphere and vibrant dishes that transport diners to the bustling street markets of Phuket.
Talk about mouth-watering-stuff-your-face-calm-down kind of food, WOW! Yes, everything is vegan. I had the appetizer sampler which had fried veggie rolls, curry samosas, and fried tofu with two different sauces and it took serious self control not to inhale it. The fried tofu is truly some of the best I’ve ever had, and so many places can’t get this right. Not here! The sauces were so good I was using a spoon 🙄 And definitely don’t skip the adorable mini cheesecake which is just as good as it looks! Truly pleased with the quality & tastiness of this food, and the service was really kind and attentive during the lunch hour. I will absolutely be returning here to eat my way through the whole menu.
Anna W — Google review
Great food, lots of options and our server was great. The rating here is tough as the food and service was good although the venue is very simple. If looking for a good vegan menu this is the spot although not the place to go for ambience.
Tyson W — Google review
Such a treat to eat at a restaurant where vegetables are the stars, not an afterthought. I chose the eggplants a la carte with tofu, and it was excellent. You can choose the level of spice you like, 1-5. Or even zero if you don’t like it spicy. Tofu can be steamed or fried. Service was super fast. On street parking is free on weekday evenings.

This is a must eat at place in Flagstaff! If you are vegan, this is THE place to go. If you aren't vegan, this is still THE place to go! Devin, our server (and husband of the owner), is so nice and personable! The food is amazing and the service outstanding. I had the Pad Thai with tofu, my husband had Yen-To-Fo with tofu. We both had the Fresh Rolls with peanut sauce. Restaurants in Southern California charge twice as much for food that is half as good. Everything on the menu looks delicious and we can't wait to come back.

Enjoyed some Red Curry and the Eggplant stir-fry. Everything tasted great. 👍🏼👍🏼 kind of weird that they open at noon.

I had such high hopes for this place but was so thoroughly disappointed. The food was exceptionally bland and one tone. All the dishes lacked taste. I really wanted to like the food because vegan thai food can be so delicious. Unfortunately, this was not it. I hope they can improve the taste in the future.

Red Curry Vegan Kitchen goes a long way to create your dish. Amazing food in nice ambience! We had take away for lunch and dinner on Valentines day!!! Fresh food, great aromatics, phenomenal kitchen - ask for extra spice its worth it. One of favorite spots in area 🌼 spring rolls are fenomenal

Only in Flagstaff for one night, so we thought we'd try to find a vegan restaurant to support. Very busy, but we were grabbing takeout so that wasn't a problem. My wife liked her spicy noodles so much she's going to have a hard time not having them when we get home. My teriyaki tofu was really good, but the sauce was basically water so it didn't stick to anything. Spring rolls were flavorful and crispy.

Traveling from Colorado. Super welcoming, food was SO GOOD. J was our server and he was awesome. Recommend. People brought their dogs there, the atmosphere was comfortable. We had our 10 month old as well and she loved walking around the grass. Love this place. Oh and we had the mezcal fashioned and the old fashioned and it was perfect.

It was a great experience from start to finish. We had a great server in Briggs! He was very energetic and helpful with the selections in the menu being it was our first time visiting from Phoenix. Highly recommend!

I want to love this place. The food is generally good. Tee time happy hour is great. The service lacks for me on a regular basis. I do not like to review local restaurant (as a 20 yr local) low but this is was a few experiences deep. With a 8% service fee and I got to get my drinks at the bar for the last 2 hrs I was there, I am disappointed in this ongoing issue. It was not that it was short staffed for the bartenders were great but it fell short by a lot. Here is our table after 2 hrs of closing our server for he was being sent home. I love local, support local and want to rally behind local establishments. I will happily update my review if my experience changes in the future.

Fish & chips restaurant
British restaurant
Restaurant
Evans Fish and Chips is a restaurant that serves up delicious British classic fish and chips. It has been open since October 2021 and locals have quickly come to love it as their go-to dinner spot. Each order of fish and chips is made fresh, so you can be sure you're getting the best possible meal.
Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had, having traveled a lot and had fish and chips in coast towns. We came late in the evening and there was a line, but it cycled through quickly, and our food was cooked fresh. The cod and (sweet?) shrimp combo we got tasted very fresh. I personally loved the batter to fish ratio; there was more meat, so the batter didn’t overpower the seafood aroma or feel overly oily. That’s usually my issue with fish and chips—they tend to be too oily from the batter. Sodas and drinks were also very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again and recommend to friends!
Lucy S — Google review
Be forewarned, no seating inside. We didn't know that and drove up from Rimrock to try this place and had to sit in the car. Other than that, it's decent fish and chips. The chips are fluffy on the inside. Fish is a whole filet of cod. I do think it could have been a bit more moist and had more salt in the batter, but it's a good meal. We also tried their cheese onions pastry. It's good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Got the sausage roll and the pastry was perfect and flaky but I personally prefer not as dense a sausage. The scotch egg was good, I just don't care for the sausage flavor, but it was a perfect runny egg and was crisp on the outside. The register worker was nice and patient. The real star was the sticky toffee pudding, which was freaking amazing. Before we left we ordered two more to take home for later. Absolute show stopper. I'm coming back here just for that. Going to have cravings for it now.

Late night dinner and the food was awesome. Trout and shrimp with French fries. And a tasty fresh baked cheesy onion roll. The gravy is fantastic too. Glad to have stopped by here. Quick speedy service. Fresh made to order food. Love the inside information board too.

Absolutely delicious and perfect stop at Flagstaff for a quick lunch to go!! The cod and chips were so good just by themselves and highly recommend the tartar sauce. The tartar sauce was so perfect too!! The cod was cooked so well and you can pull it apart perfectly inside. It was super cute inside too and the area is nice to walk by outside.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you know, you know — Evan’s is the real deal. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never miss. Stopped in today after wandering around downtown, and the fish was fresh, hot, and perfectly breaded — not heavy at all. Fries were crispy with just the right hit of seasoning. It’s true English fish and chips, right here in Flagstaff. Whether you’re warming up after a snowy day or just cruising past Heritage Square, this place always hits.
Marty L — Google review
Small space, hard to miss when walking by. Large cod was a very generous portion with ample amount of fries. Fish was perfectly fried, not too oily. Very quick service, took about 10 minutes to come out.
Jenny C — Google review
We came all of the way from the Phoenix area just to try it. The best fish and chips I've had while living in the Desert! The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are to die for. We got the Cod. Very big pieces and I got the small order. That was MORE than enough. My grown son got the large order. He said that it was way too much. I'm so glad that they were open this time. We tried going a few months ago and they were closed due to staff shortages. This place is a must go if you want fish and chips!
Skye L — Google review
Have had plenty of fish n chips in the UK and these stack up decently. We looked up the business and read that the owner's wife is from Wales, so that makes it feel authentic. Definitely give them bonus points for the Gluten Free option. The cod was great. Chips could have been crispier. Homemade tartar was great, including their jalapeno tartar. Thought the mushy peas were too watery. Well priced and made fresh on the spot!

Brix Restaurant & Wine Bar is a high-end, contemporary American restaurant that features seasonal ingredients and a modern American menu. It is located in downtown Flagstaff, near the historic Carriage House. The restaurant has elegant décor and serves delicious food in both the main dining room and alfresco patio. Specialties include pan-roasted duck breast, pork porterhouse steak, farm chicken, and gold canyon new york strip steak.
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Enjoy a date night or just wow you're a taste buds. Brix has one of the best wine lists in Flagstaff but cocktails to match. We thoroughly enjoyed that Arizona sake cocktail that was right and refreshing. The food is all high quality with fantastic scallops. Grouper was the special for the evening and that was absolutely cooked to perfection. But the baseline for any good restaurant. It's the vegetables and their vegetable platter was on point which just sets the foundation for your entire meal. If you can get the patio seating that is quite enjoyable during the nicer time of year as it reminds you of an almost British style restaurant with the trees and vines growing around the tables.
Abel A — Google review
We have been coming here for years and love Brix. The renovation is beautiful and opens up the space a lot. It definitely makes the restaurant feel different and takes away a little bit of the charm, but it’s the best for the restaurant. The food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful as always. The prices have gone up quite a bit and while the food is good, I just don’t think that the cheese board is worth $50+ dollars. We will be back because Brix is absolutely one of the best in Flag!

I had the steak, but don't expect a steak like your in Texas. That being said, it was excellent though could of been a bit more warmer. The fries were perfect, and I had a very tasty chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Great service. Interesting artwork.

Had the most wonderful dinner with Fiancé at Brix. Cierra was a wonderful server and made sure everything was perfect! Everyone we came into contact with were so kind and helpful. The ribeye and duck were phenomenal, and the creme brulee and raspberry ginger sorbet was fantastic as well! We also got to meet with Rebecca to talk about having our reception here for our wedding. She was kind and so helpful. I look forward to working with her more and the amazing reception to come!

Ambiance - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Value - 4/5 The menu is diverse and creative. The roast duck and duckfat grits were incredible and I highly recommend it, i just wish I had a little more plum reduction! The bolognese was executed well - perfect texture, and the noodle had a delightful savory quality all on its own, without even the sauce (which was also very good, if not on the salty side). There were too many interesting options from the starters but I enjoyed the complexity of the mushroom tortellini. Although the portions are small, everything else is excellent. The service was stellar and the atmosphere is very tasteful and intimate. Perfect for a date night!

Excellent! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are in the Flagstaff area. My girlfriend and I ordered the charcuterie board which featured domestic and imported cheese, assorted fruits, crackers and baguettes. It was exceptional. I ordered the duck breast and slaw which appeared to be pan seared and seasoned wonderfully. The duck breast was extremely tender and cooked to perfection. It was my birthday and they accompanied my dinner with a complementary sugar shot and creme brulee. This restaurant is in my top 5 of all time favorites.

The staff were incredible, personable and very Flagstaff, dishes plated with care and artistry, ingredients locally sourced and paired with skill. The market fish I ordered was phenomenal, as were the dishes my party ordered. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. We came on a quiet night and were so lucky to get some extra attention from the kitchen. Not pictured - amongst others, a seasonal Prickly Pear Pink Pepper sorbet which was to die for.

Sam is a fun, witty, knowledgeable bartender. He has the type of superior, service sensitivity that is lacking in most restaurants. His descriptions and recommendations made for an outstanding, date night...even at the counter. Sam recommended their skillet warmed olives which have deep, complex flavors made with much respect to the local olive farmers. The sourdough loaf with butter and olive oil paired well with our wines. Their skilled chef expertly sliced the most beautiful, local beef for our perfectly sliced carpaccio! Be sure to order the elk loin. It was also wonderfully prepared. Thank you for a memorable evening, Brix❤

I really enjoyed the brisket dinner with the southwest corn on the cob. Brisket wasn’t overly dry and it’s served with the fat cap. The southwest sauce on the corn really set it over the top. Cajun Chicken Alfredo was good. Their rhubarb pie was exceptional and so was the vanilla ice cream which is an additional charge (which I don’t approve of). Our service was okay. A little weird. Can’t put it into words. Worth going to. Tell me how the cookies are!

This place had great reviews, but honestly, it was probably the worst BLT that I’ve ever had. I don’t even think they had a real mayonnaise. The bacon was cooked early in the morning and it tasted very dried out and flat. My soup was OK the pies and the rolls and biscuits they all look fabulous, but I usually don’t eat stuff like that too much Maybe if I was looking to buy a pie for $18 this would be the place but I wasn’t. We were so excited by the reviews on Google, but we got so disappointed by the food. Not even bad taste, they served us old/bad food covered in curry so that we wouldn’t notice. I feel so sorry to post this. The fresh food was naan, veg curry, rice. The main dish chicken tandoori, shik kabab etc were not fresh; tasted very bad. Only naan tasted good. I hope people get at least fresh food that they went in for at your restaurant.
Anup B — Google review
The best Indian restaurant in Flagstaff. I actually think the food is almost as good at Himalayan Grill (their naan is a little better but I prefer the curries at Dehli Palace), but the service here is easily the best in Flagstaff. It's one of the only restaurants here that doesn't feel constantly understaffed, and everyone in the front of house is always super friendly and helpful. I've never felt like I had to wait for anything, including drink refills or clearing finished dishes from the table. There's lots of places in town to get good food, but not many where you'll get a true service experience. Anyway, the food is also very good. Tender meats, nice thick curries, generous portions, and strong flavors. The only thing I've ordered that I didn't really care for were the pakora. Too much batter.

Steak house

Black Barts Steakhouse, located on East Butler Avenue in Flagstaff, is not your typical steakhouse. It offers a unique dining experience with waiters and waitresses performing musical revues while serving classic mid-western corn-fed beef cooked in various ways. The Wild West-style space provides a saloon-like atmosphere where guests can enjoy their meals while being entertained by talented singers from all over, including NAU theater majors.
I recently completed a road trip through Arizona: Tombstone, Tucson, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Winslow, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. I had researched many restaurants before the trip started This way I could have a variety of cuisines, and also pick local restaurants rather than chain restaurants. I saved my steak night for Black Bart's Steakhouse in Flagstaff. It was already highly recommended, and it had an Old West theme that makes extraordinary. I had the 16 oz bone-in ribeye with baked potato and house salad. I added smothered mushrooms and an iced tea. The meal was excellent. Even though I ate at the bar I had appealing decor and prompt service.

The cheesy bread appetizer was the best I ever had! I would stick with their regular menu items over the specials, especially the bone in ribeye. It wasn't bad, though. Just not something I would order again.

Been here multiple times over the years, always good food and service. Always enjoy brining new people to experience the entertainment and great food. Today the free biscuits were on the dry side, we just let the staff know then boom within minutes fresh hot biscuits. They didn’t have to do that but they said they wanted to make us happy. Appreciate it! We will be back.

We went to dinner with friends. My husband ordered hamburger, twice baked potato, garden salad. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich, roasted red potatoes, Caesar salad, friends split a sampler plate of prime rib, ribs, chicken, with French fries and garden salad. Husband thought the burger was ok, and claimed the twice baked potato was odd…chunky pieces of potato in it and the cheese on it was crispy - weird. My grilled chicken sandwich was dry, and it tasted burnt, so I took the piece off meat out and it was very charred on one side - yuk. The red papers were ok, just a little dry. Friends thought their chicken was dry, ribs were ok, prime rib was good. We all liked our salads! Our servers were fantastic- happy, hard working, attentive, and singers! The best part of our evening was the entertainment they provided. Really amazing. Loved most of the songs they sang. We only wish the mic system or speakers were better, because when they needed to sing soft or gentle (which some songs require) they were more difficult to hear. But they’re amazing! Piano player was extraordinary! Send like many of the waiters/entertainers are music majors at the university. We would return for the music!

Going into this place you think your walking into the roughest toughest place in the west. Upon sitting down, ordering my drink a waitor jumps on stage, grabs a mic. And starts saying, "Be......Our.....Guest!" And suddenly the whole staff jump in singing and dancing! I almost fall out of my seat out of laughter thinking what am I witnessing here?! Ill tell you a family friendly restaurant ran by a drama theatre club! Each staff member is able to sing their own Broadway song. The pianist is a master of the keys! What's crazy is that it's a restaurant! The food was amazing! Perfectly cooked and will presented. This place is out of this world! The food! the atmosphere! This has got to be the best family restaurant I've ever been to. If you get a chance to come here, please do. You will not regret it.

A wonderful place to take a break and soak in some Arizona ambiance! We stopped with a group so our food was mostly pre-prepared thus a bit less flavorful than if you order when you arrive. However, the food was good and service was prompt and friendly. If you like show/movie tunes, this is your place, as the wait staff is also your entertainment and they all have great voices (well done)!! Thanks for a memorable evening!

The food amazing quality and flavor! The ambiance is a just phenomenal. The servers sing and I do not mean in a corny way but are your entertainment! They were all up there singing grease and beauty and beast and then individual songs as well no teleprompter either. All the while providing prompt excellent service. Definitely will be back when passing through or in the area and recommend to everybody and anybody. The prices are not unreasonable when you consider all the food and entertainment! Reservations a must but was easy as calling them.

Pato Thai is an informal Thai restaurant in downtown Flagstaff specializing in authentic curries and noodle dishes spiced to order. The menu features a variety of traditional Thai dishes such as pad Thai, basil fish, spicy scallops, barbecued chicken, deep-fried tofu, green curry, yellow curry, and panang. The restaurant has a unique interior decor with painted weathered doors and a crystal chandelier.
The flavors here were on point. So delicious. The service was always with a smile. The sweet and sour shrimp was my absolute favorite. The Thai Tea was perfect and the staff was above and beyond. I loved the decor, the wall of doors really set the atmosphere. The staff were so friendly. I will definitely be back when Thai food is on the wish list!

On Route 66, Great selection of dishes. Fast Service, bright open and clean dining room. Several size tables and even a large table for groups. I ordered the Special Pineapple Fried rice at a 3 heat Level of 5, and it was just north of medium in my opinion and it was Great!! Large Portion size also!! My wife did the Combination soup and it lived up to its name and was perfect for her, tasty but not spicy, as she does hot food. Very Reasonable prices also!

Love stopping here for lunch or dinner anytime I’m in Flagstaff. The restaurant is in a prime location and the service is always friendly and food comes out quickly. The dishes are perfectly sized to share and full of lots of flavor. If you’re in the mood for Thai I highly recommend eating here!

We visited this place for dinner while on holiday and loved the pleasant ambiance. We ordered wontons, Siam egg rolls, green curry, rice, and iced tea—all tasted good. The service was quick, and we were seated immediately as it wasn’t crowded. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

Omg loved their curry. Food was super delirious as expected. Person who served our food is super sweet, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for Thai cuisine.

We must not have luck with the only two Thai's restaurants in Flagstaff. After wait for 30 minutes at the other Thai restaurant, we sit, wait, wait for a good 20 minutes and saw other table have their orders after us had their foods served, I asked the waiter what happened to our order, he ran to the kitchen and come back apologize us that he forgot to give the cook. Apologies accepted and we walk out. At this Pato restaurant, we ordered the Tom Yum hotpot. Look very appetizing on the menu but when our hotpot came, what a disappointment: not anywhere near the picture on the menu: I let's you be the judge. What about the taste you asked? After long day hiking the Devil Bridge, and a long wait at the other Thai restaurant, we hungry and just glad that we have something hot to eat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pato Thai is fantastic! The food and service were both awesome. We tried the Thai basil fried rice and the chicken Panang curry—both were delicious, but the Panang curry is an absolute must-try. Definitely one of the best Thai spots in Flagstaff!

Flagstaff Brewing Company is a casual brewpub located in Flagstaff, offering a variety of handcrafted ales and an extensive selection of whiskey. The pub serves delicious burgers made from range-raised beef sourced locally, along with Belgian-style fries. Despite its limited seating and somewhat tricky location to find, it's considered a rewarding discovery for travelers. Brewer Stu Howe runs the small-scale brewing facility, producing experimental brews for regular customers to enjoy.
I love garlic so much that when I was looking into this from in Pennsylvania that I couldn't wait to come and try it! It was as good as the picture made it seem! The beer was also great with a big selection within walking distance to the rest of town.

Business promotes violence. Stopped in to get some food and drink but used the restroom first and saw two stickers promoting violence. The fact that middle sticker between these has been removed suggests the ones left are intentional. DO NOT support this business if you value non-violence and think politcal differences do not justify violence.

The low rating makes no sense. The food here is incredible. Best black bean/veggie burger in town, by far. The outdoor space is amazing, and they often have live music. Staff is always great

i just had the best experience, our bartender alexander was extremely attentive and just made the experience phenomenal. welcoming, talented, and makes you feel like you’re the most important guest in the room. His energy sets the tone for the whole place. Between his amazing service and the overall vibe, this bar is a total must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

Great atmosphere on Sundays and the best patio in town, Food is decent. Waitstaff is great but management keeps the place understaffed and disorganized,so it makes it difficult for them to do their jobs well. The Female bartender has been very rude, dismissive and even insulting. This place could use a serious revamp. When there's a band playing, FBC is really a great spot. Otherwise there are much better choices elsewhere.

Cool little place in the heart of old town and shops. The beer was good, but the food was way better. I would definitely recommend the poutine, it was delicious and you get a huge portion. I could not finish it all. The BLAT was really good too. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Stopped in while in town on 10/4. Bless her poor heart, but the waitress was by herself ( with a host and bartender who seemed to not be able to help her). So, the wait was long. Lighting in the establishment is very poor and I would say for a brewery the beer selection was very limited.

Himalayan Grill is a strip-mall restaurant and bar that offers a diverse menu featuring dishes from India, Tibet, and Nepal. The fusion of Himalayan and Indian cuisines provides a unique dining experience, with dishes like garlic naan and chicken curry noodles loaded with freshly roasted vegetables. The warm and inviting atmosphere adds to the experience, as the friendly owners treat guests like family.
Delicious food. Love that they use cilantro! We were asked what level of spice, from 1-5. We got 1 and enjoyed the flavors. Service has been great for us during lunch hours. Portion sizes have always left us with enough to enjoy at home the next day. We don't have Nepali or even Indian food where we live so it's a nice splurge when we have to go to Flagstaff. You can eat for less than 20.00-30.00 a person though. This last visit I also got chicken chau chau to go and it was enough for three meals. Photos are from the last two visits.

A cozy little Indian restaurant at the heart of Flagstaff. Although the place isn’t the best looking inside and out, looks can be deceiving. Our waiter was attentive to our table and was friendly. The food itself is very good. I might be biased towards Indian food, but this is very good. I like the creaminess of the Tikka Masala and the samosas. I also liked some of the lamb and everything these wonderful people cook. Overall, would recommend.
Landon B — Google review
We visited this restaurant while on holiday, looking for Indian/Nepali food. We arrived around 7:30 PM and were seated quickly as it wasn’t crowded. However, it took over an hour for our food to arrive, despite multiple reminders. The staff seemed more focused on fulfilling doordash orders than attending to dine-in customers, and they were not welcoming or attentive. When the food finally arrived, it was a big letdown—bland, lacking flavor, and poorly prepared. The chicken vindaloo had more potatoes than chicken, and the chaw chaw was overly sweet and oily. As we were eating, the staff began cleaning the floors and tables around us, making us feel rushed and uncomfortable. We had to pack up and leave before finishing our meal. Overall, this was one of our worst dining experiences. Would not recommend unless it’s your only option. If you're not too hungry, don’t mind a long wait, prefer bland and slightly sweet food, and aren’t bothered by poor service, then this might just be the place for you.
Anu R — Google review
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Although the owner tried their best, the wait for food was excessively long at 1 hour and 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the wait as none of the four dishes we ordered were good.
Ifrat H — Google review
I’ll start with what I loved - the momos was delicious and came with a nice spicy dip. The lentil soup was tasty and flavourful. And the chowmien was good too! The dish I didn’t like was the Tikka Masala - it was missing flavours and was too sweet. Service was very poor, I ordered a salad and it never came. The staff was running around and was quite insistent to take away our cutleries and plates that never got replaced with new ones.
Meenakshi B — Google review
I enjoyed eating here more than I thought I would, I really enjoyed the nann with cheese inside it. Definitely going to have some back at home because those are just to die for! The rice was also pretty good, and I enjoyed the Mango Larissa I think it was called? It was something like that, it's on the beverage menu. I didn't eat much, but I got full pretty quickly. It's quite shocking to be honest. I'm a very picky eater, but if I ever come here again I might just have to try some other things on the menu. P.S. The staff here are super friendly!!
Autumn S — Google review
The best authentic Indian food in all of Arizona. Indian food is my passion and I have been fortunate to have some amazing Indian food in my travels. I never expected visiting Flagstaff to find some of the best Indian food in the western part of the United States. The restaurant is at the end of a strip mall and clean but nothing special aesthetically. The food incredible. I was there with a local who recommended it after learning I enjoyed Indian food. The blending of spices, some of the best garlic naan I've ever had and endless rice which you're not charged extra for and the prices are so reasonable. I purchased some food to go and invested in items to preserve it on my travels. Yes it was that good😋. I we'll be back in Arizona in a month or so and I hope there's a table for me because I will definitely be eating all my lunch and dinner meals at this restaurant. If you love Indian food like I do it's just a no-brainer just go and enjoy!

Great place with something for everyone. I’ve been here twice with my vegan 🌱 partner and he was very happy with the selection. I had the nachos once and the pita pizza 🍕 . Cannot comment on the meats but a very friendly staff and clean restaurant . Great food and open fairly late which was convenient when passing through traveling. 🧳

We were treated to dinner by family while we were in town. Pita Jungle is one of their favorite places — they were just here. The prices are great and the food is tasty. If you love shawarma this is a great place to visit.
Ben B — Google review
This was our first time to visit Flagstaff and we just happened to find this wonderful restaurant. They have several vegetarian options on the main menu, and also have separate menus for gluten-free as well as vegan options of many of their dishes. The food was delicious with fairly large portion sizes. We were both pretty full after eating our meal, but the carrot cake was so enticing that we ordered a slice that we shared for dessert. Henry was our waiter and was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants healthy options that are delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely would eat here again next time I’m in Flagstaff.

We stopped by for a light dinner one day on our road trip. The light and casual setting of the place was welcoming. We ordered - Cauliflower tacos, Falafel bowl and grilled tofu. Service was quick and efficient. Food was very delicious especially taco. We requested some hot sauce and our server brought out the green and red sriracha sauces. These were soo good. Only negative I thought that Turmeric brown rice were cold and lacked flavors in Falafel bowl.
Saloni P — Google review
Pita Jungle used to be great, but their portion sizes have been cut in half from what they used to be a year ago or so. Instead of a full To-Go tray worth of food from an entree, you get half and the other half comes with the included side salad. I ordered the vegan wood-fired veggie bowl with side salad for $19.19 and it doesn't come with a protein source, so I added tofu for $6 extra, making the meal $26. The entree itself is barely bigger than my fist and the included veggies are small chopped pieces of veggies/barley anything there. Whole foods, including tofu, are very cheap compared to chicken/steak, so I have no idea why adding tofu is $6 extra when it should have been included in this meal. Also, this vegan meal came with shredded cheese, which it isn't supposed to. Called the store and they made it right, but still disappointed in the portion sizes for the price. There are better options in town for vegan food.
Mike P — Google review
First time ordering from Pita Jungle and I’m obsessed! I ordered the spicy tofu bowl and the hummus trio with extra pita. My husband ordered the spicy chicken wrap. We took our order to go so we could eat outside at our hotel. Everything was delicious! I loved each of the hummus’s. The sriracha chili sauce packets were amazing when added to my bowl and mixed into some of the hummus. Cost is a little pricy but worth the price because we were so full afterwards and had a lot of hummus left over for later.
Nicole A — Google review
Went here with my family as I've visited other locations and Pita Jungle is always a good choice, however, I actually recommend not going to this location. Service was bad and server was so rude that even my son who is 11 pointed out the server was being rude to us. I ordered my meal and only got half of what was supposed to come with the meal. Mistakes happen, so I pointed it out to my waiter just so I could have the rest brought out to me, only to be met with very rude remarks said to me while he was giving me the food. Our server was rude from the moment we entered - ignoring us before being seated. No, "welcome in" or anything. Not once did he come check on us at all, I had to waive him down to let him know I was missing my food. No apology about the missing food. Like I said, Pita jungle is a good choice, but not the Flagstaff location. I recommend staying away from this location.

Bun Huggers is a roadside haunt in Flagstaff, Arizona that serves up hand-formed burgers and brews amidst vintage signs and wood booths. The restaurant is casual and popular with locals and tourists alike.
I was a big fan of Bun Huggers back in the 80’s. I was nervous to try it again 40+ years later, because the reviews were mixed. So glad we tried it for lunch today. The interior seating was virtually the same, but you can’t see them making the burgers anymore. The burgers seemed bigger with more variety of options, and they had the same charbroiled taste. The zucchini was good, but not the same style as the original. Some people have complained in their reviews that the prices are too high, but honestly where can you buy lunch for less than $20 these days? And of course the dress your own burger station is gone. I’m sure that was a product of COVID!
Karen T — Google review
First, let me tell you about all the good things. Customer service was amazing, very courteous and kind and answered all of our questions. Secondly, the decor was one of a kind. Finally, our french fries were off the hook and crispy the way we like them! We also ordered a cheese steak sandwich, and it was not very good. The meat was bland and cool, the roll was soft, but not toasted. So it put a damper on the meal. Overall might’ve been better if we had chosen something else.
Gina L — Google review
I was sad to see that this restaurant has made some changes to it’s original set up. As we walked into the bar /lounge to grab a drink and a burger we were not greeted at all. We finally inquired if we could sit in the bar but order a burger in which the bartender replied “I think so” and then continued to not serve us (we were seated in a booth). After a minute or two, I asked if we could walk to the restaurant and bring a drink to the other side, she did say that was ok but again, didn’t offer to assist us. (Very weird) When we walked to the restaurant, we again, we’re not greeted. As a matter of fact, there was nobody even in the restaurant. We looked at the menu for a while, and then somebody finally came in from the outside. At this point, the staff was friendly, although the person taking our order didn’t know answers to simple questions about the menu. In the end, the burgers were good. The zucchini is not as good as I recall it being (seemed to be a frozen dish as opposed to the fresh product it used to be) and the fries have changed, but they were good. The burgers themselves were fresh and prepared well. The service just lacked completely. We both assumed that this is a new staff under a new owner and just need some time learning the menu etc. Hopefully that’s the case.
Raechel C — Google review
All around a great place to grab a bar style burger with the family. We tried out the mushroom burger, it was great except they were weak on the burger sauce so next time I’ll just ask for mayo. My daughter got the patty melt and agreed it was good but too light on the burger sauce, my husband did a grilled chicken with green chili and that was awesome! Fries were really great and the ranch was fantastic. I liked how easy it was to walk up and order, plenty of seating and easy to hear your number being called. Next time I’m in town and want a burger this will be the spot.
Jennifer D — Google review
I’m surprised by many of the negative reviews. With the burgers we ordered, the missing build your own bar isn’t relevant (ie grilled onions and chilis). The size of the burger is 1/2 pound. As far as how they’re cooked, tell them what you want when you order them. This is one of the best burgers in Flagstaff. The burgers are huge and there are many options to choose from. Service was fast and friendly. My only suggestion is to include a side. We sat in the bar section with pool tables, shuffleboard, darts and several TVs. There is also more of a family friendly restaurant area on the other side.
Mike L — Google review
Had the Bacon cheese burger with a side of chili cheese fries. Food was cooked very well and the flavor was on par with worthy of a return trip.
Duane B — Google review
It's a fun Flagstaff "landmark." There used to be two many years ago, but now it's just the original. The decor hasn't changed, which is great. It's very eclectic. It is connected to the next door bar which almost has the look and especially the feel of "Cheers," the TV show bar. The best thing is to order food in the restaurant and have it "delivered" to the bar, because the bar has great "bar games," I e. table shuffleboard, darts, and a pool table, plus a jukebox. The restaurant is very family friendly and serves very good food, cooked to order.
A U — Google review
We used to love coming here when we lived in Flagstaff because we got to go down the line and add our own fixings to the burger. What happened?! Must have been COVID. Now it's just a regular burger joint. The burger was nicely char broiled and tasty but the bun was cold to the touch. I have to admit the fixings were yummy but I miss the old Bun Huggers!

Great place for lunch! My husband got the Reuben sandwich with fries and I got a California burrito (forgot to take a photo). What I was surprised by was trying their ketchup, which had a unique flavor! For the burrito, the size and flavor is worth the price. Loved it with the red salsa! Sitting outside was also quite lovely! Would definitely come back again.

Our first breakfast here in Flagstaff and it was so good we came again. My husband loved his hash with roasted sweet potatoes and red and gold beets stir fried with chorizo and topped with scrambled egg and chimichurri. I loved the pork chile verde on my chilaquiles dish. The pork was so tender and not fatty. We came again and tried the brioche French toast, steak and eggs, another chile verde dish which was all very good. Only wish was the steak and eggs should’ve had more beef. Two of four of us ordered the steak and eggs so maybe they split it. Food does take a little while to come but worth the wait. We were too hungry to take pics the 2nd time we came. The French toast was light and fluffy and loved all the fresh berries on top. It was nice sunny days both times so we sat on the back patio away from the road. All ingredients are very fresh. I would definitely come back again.

Delicious breakfast. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. There is seating available indoor and outdoor. Delicious drinks on the menu, alcoholic and non alcoholic. My favorite is the lavender lemonade. Sweet and earthy. I got the T-Home Benedict. The green chili hollandaise is what made want to try it and im glad I did. The home fries were also sweet and tasty. My husband had the hashbowl. The chorizo added a lovely spice flavor to the sweet delicious beets and yams. Highly recommend.

The service was pretty good, food was good they eggs with green chilli pork were good, the potatoes on it could be better seasoned; the burrito was generous served, was good that the coffee didn't tasted burned as many breakfast places do; wish they have more variety of pastries The outdoor seating is nice, but in the middle of the day finding a shade for a group of 4+ can be challenging Overall we had a good experience

What a gem!! Found this great taco place by chance on my way back home from New Mexico! The place was packed with patrons, that’s a good sign! Great service, selections, even Mexican sodas… yum! Delicious and well stocked salsa bar. The food was delicious!!! Can’t wait to come back to Flagstaff.

Once you step inside, you KNOW this is gonna have great food. It doesn’t look well aesthetic-wise, but you should never judge a book by its cover. The service is very timely and a tip is optional! The food is also at a very good value, especially the combos. I got a cheese enchilada and a burrito all in one meal and it’s barely more expensive than a chipotle burrito. All the items, including the rice and beans, were top notch. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone in East Flagstaff.
Landon B — Google review
Dont go here for breakfast burritos. They are $9 for a tortilla with nothing but flavorless potatoes inside. The restaurant right next to them has much better breakfast go there instead.
Mark G — Google review
Food was good, but nothing special. But for the price of the combo plate with rice and beans and a drink, there are better options in town. Locals were most of their clientele, so there's probably a smarter way to order than the way we did. Portions are big and they have a miniature salsa bar with salsa and peppers. The Pepsi products are served from the computerized automatic dispenser and they didnt seam to be dialed in very well.

The restaurant is not handicap accessible, as there are stairs just inside the front doors. There are two dining areas, one s you come in and one just to the right that's larger. Amazing breakfast! The atmosphere was pretty cool, the whole place has a retro themed Route 66 feel to it, with lots of old times artifacts on display.

Family style dinning, friendly and welcoming. It’s like going for breakfast at a place that knows your name. We were helped by Alexis who knew the menu and made great suggestions. The food was fresh and hot and delicious even though I added items to my omelette. The warm green sauce was a revelation. The fresh biscuit was light . But it was the waffle that surprised me the most, light yet complex in flavor. Everyone should try these waffles, they are an 11 on a scale of 10. The chicken was a little over cooked however crispy and tasty. The rooms could use a facelift but it is clean and quaint.

Want somewhere not in the crowded downtown area? Come here! Right off 66 and plenty of FREE parking. Great menu, have a little something for everyone. One of the best chicken fried steaks my husband has had so far. Sorry no pictures we were so hungry and it was looking so good 😊

Dara Thai Restaurant is a long-standing casual eatery with a charming exotic ambiance, offering classic Thai dishes alongside vegetarian choices and cocktails. Established in 1992, it holds the distinction of being the first Thai restaurant in Flagstaff and has garnered community appreciation and awards for its innovative cuisine and welcoming staff. With multiple locations across the Southwest, one can easily savor their delectable offerings.
Great Thai food in Flagstaff! Usually order vegetable fried rice, green curry and eggplant basil. They accommodate dietary restrictions and food is always seasoned well and flavorful. Generous portions and steamed tofu in curries are a must try! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Thai food in downtown Flagstaff.
Subha V — Google review
Overall, I was happy with the food. The restaurant’s appearance isn’t as upscale as some other Thai spots, but it’s clean and has nice traditional decor. Our server, who I believe was Hispanic, was very kind and provided great service. The food took a bit longer than expected (around 30 minutes), even though it wasn’t too busy, but they seemed short-staffed in the kitchen. The meal itself was delicious, with a GENEROUS amount of VEGGIES in the noodle dishes, which really elevated the flavors—especially the basil in my dish. Overall, good food and polite service at a fair price. I'd say if more restaurants balanced their foods with these veggies and flavors like this restaurant did, the others would do better.
M J — Google review
We were able to sit immediately for lunch as there was only one other table being served. The menu is huge. The yellow curry itself was good but the vegetables in it weren't fully soft. I ordered it 0/5 spice. The pad Thai had chewy/hard noodles like they were not cooked all the way through. It was ordered as 3/5 spice but was like a 0 spice.
Jeannette Y — Google review
Absolutely no front service or friendly greeting. The employees' attitudes and vibes are cold. Very negligent of handing out orders on time, even for Doordash deliveries with a time limit. Had to go to the dining area to search for an employee to finally help. The tables and counters were dirty at the front of the restaurant as soon as people walk in...even on a slow weekday when I visited. The restaurant owners should invest in hiring more help. I could've given this same review months ago, by the way. The only thing good is two food items.
Brittany W — Google review
Cute place, not great food. I went here 8 years ago in college and it's really gone downhill. Got the Thai salad and Duck curry. Salad was good and fresh! Curry was watered down and the duck seemed really processed. Super disappointed in this place.
Morgan J — Google review
When my sister visits from out of town once a month we ALWAYS get take out from here. I can't comment about anything in dining as it's always takeout but the person in the front bar is always super nice and the food is usually ready within 15 mins or so. And we can't tolerate spicy food so it's nice they will make it without it being spicy.

Regular delicious Thai food. Satay was a little over cooked. Orange chicken was very sweet. Duck slices had much gristle. Not as cozy as we would have thought.

Chili on the chili dog would have been great, not on the wrapper. Service wasn't that great as well. At least I ate, right!?

Prefer to keep it local when in Flag and this Dog did not disappoint. Walk up window for breakfast, had the steak burrito. At first I thought I should have ordered two but this was just right. Great tasting steak, green chili was good as were the hashbrowns.Even the tortilla was delicious. Ordered the combo and the hashbrowns were a good size and not greasy. Friendly customer service as well. Thanks guys for a great meal. 8/30 Excellent burger and Chicago dog(x2). Freshly made , reminded me of a diner style burger. Had the double, forgot to ask for no mayo, was so good ate it all regardless. Dogs were fantastic on their own, plenty of fresh toppings. Grateful for the large water too. Thanks again .

Two stars because it’s, “Iconic”. A local establishment for at 15 years that I know of. Not Local. I’ve had good food here before, years ago. 6 bucks for a basic dog, had to ask for condiments. No drink, sides. The basic dogs are smaller than what you would get from say a place like Sonic. All for supporting local, but c’mon.

The people were super nice and very polite, the food was amazing the fries were seasoned to perfection the double monster burger was simply wonderful and delicious. The steak sandwich exactly to my liking. Very impressed with the food and people. 10/10 very highly recommend these are the things that I look for in a place!!! 🏅👌👍😃

1302 E Rte 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, I love hotdogs BUT I was very disappointed in this establishment. prices were tooooo much, greasy chili on nasty tasting hot dogs, We were staying in a Inn close by. We will never try this one again.

I’m not sure what they think a Sonoran dog is, but this isn’t it. They show a picture of an authentic Sonoran dog in a soft baked bollio yet what I got was some pace salsa and crushed chips on a regular hot dog bun. Definitely not what I was in the mood for. The Chicago dog which is pictured at the location with a poppy seed bun, was put on a regular bun. We took our food 3 minutes down the road but the heat did not stay. If you’re going to eat from here, stay and eat it if you want your food to at least be warm.

The menu is intentionally small, focusing on what they do best, which has earned them accolades and awards. In addition to their inventive noodle creations, SoSoBa offers creative craft cocktails that complement the bold flavors of their dishes.
This place was good. We had the opportunity to dine here for dinner and it was lovely. The place is a bit cramped, but service was great. Since it was pretty late at night, the food did take a while to come out. The atmosphere was great and the servers were nice. Overall, we really enjoyed the ramen and the atmosphere here. I'd love to come back and try different things on their menu!

Looking for a great Ramen place? This is it. Stopped in for a quick early dinner while in Flagstaff recently. The place was busy. We ordered and received our Ramen in a reasonable time. We ordered the Katsu and Gyoza Ramen. They have a large menu with appetizers and different options including cocktails, beer and wine. Would recommend.

We loved our food. The service wasn't the best, but it wasn't horrible. The pork belly is very expensive for the portion they give you. Their half off during happy hour is definitely worth it.

First off, it’s open later than most food places in DT Flag. We did the 830 stargazing show at the observatory which didn’t get out until 9:10(ish). We hadn’t eaten dinner and were hungry, but by then most places were already closed. We are so glad we found this place. Both ramens were so good and the bao wasn’t bad either. Service was great especially considering how busy they were. Will definitely hit up this place again next time in Flag.

Good vibing place in flagstaff neighborhood. We ordered for their Bao Buns with mushrooms and Tsukune. Mushrooms were little salty but with the buns it tasted good. Tsukune chicken was amazing and juicy. We also ordered Miso carrot cake, something really different and a must try.

By the time we wrapped up our stargazing adventure at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, the night had crept in and most restaurants had already turned off their lights and flipped their signs to Closed. Just as our hopes for a decent meal began to fade, we chanced upon Sosoba — a quirky, neon-lit noodle joint still buzzing with life. We demolished the Tantanmen ramen — delicious, with a unique twist that blends flavours reminiscent of pozole and ramen, making it both satisfying and comforting. It felt like the universe had aligned once more, guiding us from the stars straight to steaming bowls of late-night stomach pleasers.

Nice breakfast & lunch deli type place. Order from the counter and have a seat inside or out. The nice staff will bring it out to you. In addition, there were lots of take out orders while I sat outside for lunch. I had the Dagwood Stack…Very Good! Your choice of a side. The Annex Cocktail Lounge is a contemporary establishment with a speakeasy atmosphere, offering classic cocktails and a rustic courtyard. Originally created to handle overflow from the adjacent Tinderbox Kitchen, it has since become a destination in its own right for cocktails and small plates. The lounge offers inventive seasonal cocktails like the Tell-Tale Heart and Grapefruit Shandy, along with delicious appetizers, beer, and wine in a trendy setting.
This is a really nice craft-cocktail bar. The cocktail quality and variety could remind one of a speakeasy - but then again the decor nor layout really resembles a speakeasy. But it is a great place for cocktails. For sure. The food is really good and tasty too. The service is on the spot. We shared the garlic humus, the meat balls 😋 and the vegetarian dish. Maybe the only minus is that it was tomato’s from a can used in the veggie dish - not fresh tomatoes. Definitely a place to visit.

We experienced an entertaining evening with cocktails and a live musician in the uniquely decorated outdoor setting at The Annex Cocktail Lounge. Our entrées were delicious. My husband had a great fish and chips order. I ordered the chicken pot pie. It had large chunks of chicken, vegetables, and a delightful lemon flavor that I’ve never had before. It was very tasty and the crust was perfect-flaky and crisp. Unfortunately, the craft cocktails didn’t hit the mark and the greens and lime wedge were limp/old. I would go there again, but probably select wine for my beverage.

Cannot believe we have never eaten here. I watched them build this back in 2014 and they have since newly remodelled. Highly recommend. My Reuben was nicely spiced with the sauce they put on it. Mike really enjoyed his Mother Road Hoagie. We also split a Matcha Green smoothie and it was delightful. Believe it or not first time I’ve ever purchased one and it will not be our last. We came to KoKiYo for a late lunch, and I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while now. I’m so glad we finally did, it exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food? Absolutely spectacular. I ordered the KoKiYo Lunch Box (a Bento-style meal), and everything on the plate was perfect. The beef and vegetables were cooked to perfection, full of flavor and texture. The kimchi was to die for, and I’m still thinking about the cucumber kimchi salad, such a refreshing and flavorful side. My husband had the Katzudon chicken, and he said it reminded him of home, which is high praise coming from him. When I asked him to rate his meal, he didn’t even hesitate: 10/10. We finished off our meal with a coffee ice cream macaron sandwich, and it was the perfect sweet ending, light, flavorful, and so yummy. No complaints whatsoever. Just a genuinely great experience from start to finish. I’m absolutely recommending this place to friends and family, and we’ll definitely be back!

What a banger of a mead hall! I'm hours away from this place and wish I wasn't. Everyone here cares about what they do and it shows. Even if you've never tried mead before, you'll find something you love. Variety of flavors, incredible Norse atmosphere, and very cozy local vibe. I really wish I could get this place in the valley! Absolutely worth a visit again, and again, and again 🥂

This place is more than amaze balls. Jasper and her manager are fantastic ladies who fit the style of this viking drinking hall. Their lovely disposition made us come back twice. The meads are amazing to try. Im not a drinker but my husband who is a fan of meads loves their flavors. He had a few of the 6 flights to try to find his favorite and he did. We bought a bottle to bring back home with us. I loved the Butter bee-ah. Sweet and dangerous. My favorite kind of cocktail. We were allowed to bring in our own food since they do not serve any food here. Military discount is available. And the smiles are free with the tasty meads this hall has to offer.

Friendly staff welcomed us immediately. Efficient service for mead (we didn't order food), drinks arrived in less than 5 minutes for a party of 6. Wide selection (some are seasonal, so menu varies). Multiple options for tasting flights (half/full/longship['secret' option]). Food menu available upon request. Mead menu welcomes outside food for customers. Highly recommend.

This is why we came to Flagstaff for the weekend!! We saw this place on Instagram and this weekend just worked to buzz up and check it out. To try as many flavors as possible we went with 2 flights. Some favorites were the Bluetooth, Root-beeah, Lemon Ginger (for me), and Lime. We also brought a couple bottles home. If this was in our neighborhood we'd be here Friday nights playing games and drinking mead.
Mazanec M — Google review
Unexpected treat to find this place. Super authentic vibe with the live music. We got a flight so we could taste a bunch of different flavors. Very tasty!
Peter V — Google review
Stepping into this mead hall felt like a journey back in time to an ancient Viking stronghold. The ambiance exuded authenticity with its old-world charm and meticulously crafted decor. But it was the mead that truly stole the show. With a selection rivalling European counterparts, each sip was a delight, transporting me to distant lands with every nuanced flavor. From the staple classics to the limited-time specialties, there's something for every palate. While food may not be on offer, the experience alone is worth the visit. Highly recommended for mead enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

Lovely little coffee shop. Stopped in for the first time in the 4 years I’ve lived in Flag today and I really enjoyed it. The vibes are chill, the staff are very kind, and for a cheap drip coffee in a world of expensive ones, I enjoyed it. Usually a pour over guy but I was out and about killing some time. Highly recommend if you’re in the north downtown area and need a quick cup of joe. They’re located inside of the Old Town Shoppes with the most obvious entrance being at the corner of Birch and Leroux. Thanks guys!

We stopped in to grab some coffee & browse through the shop. The coffee was good & the staff was extremely friendly & helpful! There are super cute local shops selling their items at this store. I highly recommend looking at their earrings 😍

Cafe
Flagstaff Market Station and Cafe, located on Highway 180 in a former Texaco gas station, is the perfect stop for those heading to Snowbowl. The cafe offers a variety of coffee options and an extensive menu of paninis, energy bars, canned drinks, pastries, and yogurt parfaits.
We stopped by for a few sandwiches on our way up to Snowbowl for some hiking. The service was fantastic and food was great. We had the dog with us, so we sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Great place, I highly recommend!!

Stopped by here on our way out to the Grand Canyon and it is a hidden gem! I love the atmosphere, the staff were so nice and friendly and the food and coffee were delicious. I also loved that they had doggie treats!

Great Cafe/Sandwich shop. Amazing gluten free sandwich options and sweets. Banana bread would make you mee- maw jealous. Moist and delicious. Nice little beer selection too!
Dan D — Google review
Great place to grab a coffee and panini on the way to or from Snowbowl... and also worth a very quick drive from downtown for breakfast or lunch. Had an iced almond milk latte (delicious, and they have oat & soy too!) and a crunchy, warm Fort Valley panini, which comes with aioli for dipping. Okay I had a mimosa too. Love that they have a rewards program, which I signed up for promptly. Service is fantastic, and the shop is cute and convenient. They had many local goods and sundries like band-aids (see photos.) Highly recommend this place. It's easy to see why it's so popular. Will definitely be back regularly.

Lovely place for a warm drink! Stopped by after a long day of boarding at Snowbowl and grabbed a hot mocha. Staff was very friendly and the drink was fantastic! Great place to come an hang out for a bit. Also, they have cold drinks and snacks togo if you need something to take up boarding with you.

This is a great place. I love going here. My daughter loved it too. If you haven't given this a shot, you definitely need a swing by. Everything here is tasty and made fresh right away while you watch. I got the Wi-Fi everywhere and plenty of tables to sit at and lots of artwork on the walls. They've got gluten-free options for their paninis, which is amazing. Costs 1.50 more but that's okay. Check them out.

My husband & I enjoyed the Humphrey breakfast sandwiches: 1 w bacon & 1 w/o bacon. Came with a sauce, generous sized sandwich. Very good. 🙌 on the Pumpkin 🎃 cold brew - not too sweet.

They have gluten free options and I felt they were very careful. I have never had a delicious panini like this when eating out since I was diagnosed with celiac. It was wonderful! Nice patio to sit on and enjoy the weather.

Nestled in a historic building, Cafe Daily Fare is a charming spot in Flagstaff that's gaining popularity for its refined sandwiches and seasonal soups. Despite being somewhat of a hidden gem, the word is spreading fast about this eco-chic nook. The catering company behind it, Simply Delicious, has successfully ventured into the take-out business with Nancy McCulla at the helm. The duck tacos are a standout item on their menu and come with sides like house salad and bean salad.
Always a great meal here. Great fresh food for everyone from omnivores to herbivores. The fish tacos were awesome today! The picture is of half an order
Rick E — Google review
Came here for lunch by myself at a strong recommendation from a friend. I had the duck tacos which immediately stood out as a unique item. Very delicious! Comes with a house salad and bean salad. Inside there are only about a dozen tables and I was lucky to get a table right away. It was very busy and the wait staff seemed a bit disorganized as I saw several people get up after being tired of waiting and retrieve their own menus. The decor is great although tables are pretty close together. I would try them again!
Heather S — Google review
The duck tacos were delicious with the black bean medley. The salad added a nice touch of balance. I added the avocados. Their lemonade was refreshing. I would ask next time for the dressing on the taco be on top or mixed with the greens instead of being spread on the tortilla. But very tasty.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! No corporate food here! Super alternative. Fish stew has large chunks of freshly cooked cod. Yum. Highly recommend!

Cafe Daily Fare is a place everyone needs to visit if in Flagstaff AZ. The service was beyond excellent, everyone was friendly and polite. The food was amazing, the Chefs and Kitchen help take pride in preparing and serving your meal. I had the Big Fatty Sandwich. For the meat lovers out there, the meat was juicy and the flavors were perfect. My son had the Fish Tacos, he said they were the Bomb, daughter in law had Turkey Sandwich, she said it was great, and my other daughter in law had soup and 1/2 sandwich, it was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant,!!! Put it on your list and, Make sure you visit CAFE DAILY FARE!!

Mexican restaurant
Mi Tesoro is a newly opened Mexican restaurant located near the Flagstaff mall. Despite having only 11 reviews, all of them are 5 stars, indicating its growing popularity. The house margaritas are described as tart and not overly sweet, offering a refreshing change for those who prefer less sugary drinks. The owners are praised for their hospitality and the restaurant's ambiance is highly appreciated. Customers express their satisfaction with the homemade food and traditional flavors reminiscent of home-cooked meals.
We have been meaning to try this place out. The interior is beautiful. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken right after. I had the chevice and my husband had the fajita trio. We shared the Tres Leche cake for dessert. Everything was great. This is a great new addition to Flagstaff! It offers some different menu items than our usual places, so we will definitely be back.

Great new Modern Mexican restaurant at the Flagstaff Mall . It opened just recently in the last couple of months. Great food yummy margaritas in a relaxed, cool modern Mexican style. Great menu that I can't wait to try more items from. Nice break from shopping. Lots of seafood dishes, which the wife loves! We will be back... great service as well. Thank you, Liam, for the great service!

My family and I stopped in a few weeks back. I didn't leave a review, but after having a bad expierience with ceviche in Sedona a week later, it prompted me to leave this review. First off, I was born in Phoenix and have had LOTS of ceviche in my 40+ years of life and I can say this is the 2nd best tasting ceviche I have had. The flavors were perfect, the texture was perfect, and the cucumbers and mayo served alongside were amazing! After having a very "long john silvers" style ceviche in Sedona (lol), I will now drive the extra mileage to Mi Tesoro. The lunch time service was great. We had lunch with my mom who is in her 70s and also born and raised in Phoenix. She loved that her dish was not overly spicy, but still had that amazing southwestern flavor she was looking for and raised on. My fiance and I ordered the Mocajete and absolutely loved it! His margarita was perfectly made and actually tasted like tequila instead of just mixers. Overall we just wanted to thank the staff there and the chefs, cooks, hostess, bartender etc for a really great lunch. My family has been experiencing some rough times, and the great lunch expierience that day really lifted our spirits. From our family to yours, Thank you for taking care of us and we can't wait for another trip and some more amazing food! 🙌
Amanda — Google review
It was a fun experience. The staff were very nice and we were seated immediately. The menu prices are reasonable. They have a fun rose wall where you can take a photo. My other request is that my enchiladas could have been a little hotter and the cheese melted. Other than that it was a fun place.
Crystal L — Google review
A “modern” Mexican restaurant. A tad on the upscale side. Was greeted and seat pretty quickly, but ordering took a while. The margarita was okay, but i guess that’s why it’s 8 bucks. I was surprised with their American Dinner menu, 4 items on the menu you’d find on a steakhouse menu. I do have to say the water was good here, seems to be filtered. The salsa was too mild for me. The carne asada plate I had was good, but no spiciness what so ever. I guess if you like non spicy food, this is your place. I’ll stick with the other two well established mexican restaurants.

The BEST Mexican food in Flagstaff! Best food Ambience and Staff. You cannot go wrong. You do not have to enter the mall to get here. Amazing Wonderful I wish we had this in Las Vegas!! Not to be missed during your Flagstaff!

Five-Star Experience Thanks to Karen! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waitress, Karen. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. She made us feel right at home and brought such a fun and friendly energy to the table that it honestly felt like we were being taken care of by a close friend. One of the best parts? Karen expertly helped us pull off the ultimate move—sneaking the check before our friend could get to it. With a knowing smile and a well-timed nod, she played along perfectly and made it look effortless. It was such a small moment, but it meant a lot and made the whole night even more memorable. And let’s not forget the food—absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served hot and fresh. The kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing, and Karen’s recommendations were spot-on. All in all, we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Karen, thank you for being such a bright spot in our evening—you’re a true gem!

Service is decent, chips and salsa are good, but the food is lousy and over priced. Ordered a “Ribeye”, that was basically chuck meat. Presentation is good, but the food is abysmal. Would not recommend. Even Taco Bell is better.

Alpha & Omega Greek Cuisine in Flagstaff is a must-visit for authentic Greek food. Despite being located inside a motel, it offers an extensive menu featuring delicious falafel plates, pita salads, tzatziki, chicken pitas, souvlakis, and more. While the decor may be outdated, the place is clean and cozy. Customers rave about the freshness and taste of the food, with highlights including the hummus appetizer and chicken pita.
Best Greek food we had in years, even compared to meals we had in Greece. The place looks a little outdated but it is clean and cosy so don't let it stop you. We ordered the hummus as our appetiser and for our main course we had the chicken pita and the chicken souvlaki. The Hummus had a nice garlic taste to it and the pita is insane; fresh and handmade. We ordered a second pita because it was so good. The chicken pita was delicious; the chicken was tender from the inside and crisp from the outside, the tomato and salad was fresh and had a bite to it. The pita again was perfect. This dish was served on request with a fresh greek pasta seasoned nicely with herbs and spices, but you get to choose what side you want. The portion was more than enough. The chicken souvlaki was served with rice on request and contained a large chicken souvlaki, a pita , a Greek cheese salad and tzatziki. The chicken was clean, crisp from the outside and grilled to perfection on the inside so nice and juicy. The pita was perfect again and the salad had a bite to it and the taste was good. The portion was more than enough even when you are hungry. For dessert we had the baklava that was served warm and contained a nice balance of nuts and honey. Delicious! The softdrinks we ordered were on refill but plenty of other drinks are available aswell to choose from. We highly recommend this place when you visit Flagstaff. Great price, nice and friendly staff and just delicious food. 5 stars!

My first experience here was poor at best, but since then, I go there and it's good. Its inside a motel. Its got a decent sized menu, and The Reuben is 8/10. The Gyro is 8/10...The burger is 6/10. The salads need work, but overall, I say go here if you live/work nearby and want to support local businesses. *2013 Update: They have been making strides to improve their service, and the quality of the preparation of the food. The Falafel Platter was great, 10/10. Keep up the good work! *2014 Update: They have been consistent in their improvements, and I applaud the owners and others that work there for really stepping up, Flagstaff needs to keep its diversity in foods.

In a revamped former restaurant that needs a bit of work to bring it to Restaurant feel, as opposed to a diner. The Gyro plate is awesome, and the food seems authentically Greek. Recommend.

Holy falafel! This place is definitely a place to stop if you like Greek food. Super fresh and tastey! It is old and the decor is not much to look at but it is clean. Who cares what it look like when you get a meals as good as this place!
