As a first-timer I am so glad I stumbled upon Mother Road Brewing Co.! The downtown location is absolutely perfect, and it's an easy and enjoyable spot to find. The moment we arrived, I was impressed by the awesome pet-friendly patio. There was plenty of seating for everyone, and it was great to see so many people enjoying the beautiful Flagstaff weather with their furry friends. The food was a total surprise in the best way. I wasn't expecting such an eclectic and delicious menu from a brewery, but everything we ordered was fantastic. From the flavorful street tacos to the perfectly crispy tater tots, the food was high quality without being ridiculously expensive. And of course, the beer selection was top-notch. They offer a great variety of craft beers, from their core brews to some exciting limited releases. I enjoyed getting to sample a few before settling on my favorite. Before we left, I also had to check out the merch. They have a fantastic offering of gear, and I found the perfect t-shirt to remember my visit. Mother Road Brewing Co. is a definite must-visit in Flagstaff

Headed up to Flagstaff over the weekend and decided to try Mother's Road Brewing and was not disappointed. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining. We chose indor since it was a little too brisk for the littles. I really liked the industrial rustic look and the atmosphere was great. To be honest, at first, we were a bit confused on the menu, but our server explained that we picked the type of entree we wanted, followed by the type of meat/veggie option(topper). I selected the tacos, my husband, the tostada, and my daughter, the hot dog. I LOVED MY TACOS! they were super delicious. The remoulade sauce was my favorite. The butchers belly pork was soft, and the flavor was amazing. My husband said the tostada was a bit difficult to eat, but that's to be expected since the base is crunchy, and every time he took a bite, it would break apart. Otherwise, he said he really enjoyed the flavors. Not complaints from my daughter on the hot dog. Our server was great, except she kept forgetting to get us our refills or waters when asked. We had to remind her a couple of times. I'm not sure if she has to put it through the bar, but that was the only annoying part. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be going again.

A food truck inspired BBQ/ Cajun joint on Route 66. The unlikely union works against the backdrop of a brewery featuring AL'S favorite- Tower Station IPA. These guys aren't going national anytime soon, so grab a table on their pet friendly patio as soon as you can.

Not worth it with so many breweries in walking distance.

Great, friendly service. Awesome beer selection (with full bar in case you want that). Food was also outstanding. Had tacos and the totchos. Yay

Great stop to make along Route 66 and bonus for being dog friendly! Great options to choose from, and food for order as well! Even with the cooler evening, they have heaters outside to warm you up.

Came here on Halloween evening, and we loved the vibe. All of the staff was super friendly! Shout out to the guy in the penguin costume & whoever was the waiter in the back room on Halloween night (I didn’t get either of their names). We didn’t try the food but the drinks were great! If we ever come back to flagstaff we will definitely be back here.

The soft pretzels were amazing! I liked the atmosphere here. The main course was just alright. I got the margarita chicken, it was good, but the chicken was a little dry. My partner got the burger. He said it was alright. The dessert though was really good. We had the chocolate bread pudding. It was fantastic.

Recently stopped in to Beaver Street for the first time, and we really enjoyed it! The whole place doesn't give off the typical brewery vibe. The inside is nice but definitely feels more like a family restaurant. There is a bar area with seating as well as a covered outdoor patio in the back. The service was excellent our whole meal. I tried their flight of 6 different beers since it was my first time. Pretty good-sized pours, honestly. I enjoyed most of the options I chose! Food wise, we were very impressed! Not only did the food come out quickly, but it was all delicious! We tried the Chicken Club Sandwich and the Prosciutto Pear Pizza. Great portions. Would absolutely order these again! So good! The Truffle Fries are worth the up charge, trust me. Even the kids' meals were good sizes and prices too. Overall, it's a good option to check out in downtown Flag!

Sicilian Pizza & Cesar salad was amazing. Red Rock Raspberry on tap was really good. I gave four stars for the basic cheeseburger. It had no seasoning and no color to the meat. Fries were good. Service was great

Okay selection and quality brews here. Don't remember all what was on the flight, but both the Red and the Stout stood out. Dense, amazing pretzel sticks, or really, more like pretzel logs, here. Cheese dip consistency was super thick like wet concrete and was supposed to be jalapeño? Barely got a hint of spice. Service was fantastic and friendly.

On a road trip and this spot within walking distance of the hotel. Cosy place shared the spinach beet salad and tried the chicken pot pie that was spot on and the brewer's platter. All really tasty. The smoked bratwurst was a standout winner. Waitstaff checked on us often. Great spot.

Absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was homey. This is the perfect spot for a dinner. Friendly waitress. The pizza and appetizer was amazing. The Sicilian: I have not been this impressed by a pizza in years- I ate the entire thing. My buddy said the beer was great.

Everything we ordered was prepared well and at the correct temp. Nothing super 5 star as far as taste, but the service, cocktails, and atmosphere made up for this. A definite solid place to grab a bite while visiting Flagstaff.

Stopped by and had a few beers with my wife while listening to some live music. Chad was our bartender and had a terrific personality and was quite professional. He made some terrific recommendations and we went with the beer choices which were similar in flavor to an IPA for me and a blonde for my wife. We had a few rounds and enjoyed our time at the Brewery. Highly recommended

It's probably more of a 4-star experience. Both the fries and tasters were fine. They get an extra star for being an outlier and taking the hard stance of 'No kids.'

The is the second time I've been to Dark Sky in the last 10 years. I don't remember them having two different locations and that threw me off as they are right next to each other and i only remember the smaller, indoor only, location that had a really good Girl Stout cookie beer. This time we loved the out door seating and dog friendly garden but the layout was confusing and cramped to go in and order. Food was good but costly. Nachos outside with a breeze cooled the cheese so rapidly that it turned to a brick quicker than iI could finish them but the bites I did have were great. Schnitzel sandwhich was excellent. The beer on tap didn't really sway me for the flight that I chose but I that could just the the selection of the time.

Nice little taproom with a fun atmosphere. Staff was friendly. I got a flight and I enjoyed all the beers I had. Good live music. They also share a space with Pizzacleta so you can get pizza or apps while enjoying your beer. The only thing negative about my experience was that on the day we visited they had 4-5 taps that were out, which was disappointing because a lot of them were beers that I was looking forward to trying. But overall I would absolutely recommend stopping by this brewery, and I look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in the area!

This was our first visit. Interesting place…it’s a little a confusing, with two businesses in the same space and getting two checks, one for the drinks, and the other for the food. The aesthetic of the space is great and it has a great vibe. No hostess to be found when we arrived and when she finally approached she wasn’t friendly at all. The Pizzicletta service was underwhelming and the server took a long time to come around and take our order, he came when we were almost done with our beers. The server for the brewery was amazing, friendly, and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend the Rye’d Open Spaces beer. It was a great recommendation from our server. The pizza itself was good but we ordered three and still didn’t get full. It’s paper thin pizza and on the small side. We ordered two of the Bee’s Knees, which were delicious. The bacon and shallot pizza was average and I wouldn’t order it again. We also ordered the gelato flight…pretty good, especially the sea salt chocolate gelato.

I really LOVED the simple salad and the margarita pizza! We drove from Phoenix, all the way to Sedona and stopped here for a quick bite before continuing to the Grand Canyon, simple but worth it!

Excellent food and drinks. Especially for gluten sensitive or gluten free. The Nashville hot chicken was awesome, wouldn't even know it was GF. Only recommendation, I didn't realize some of the beers were GR from the sign. Saw it online so check the tap menu online as well for GF and GR beer options

Located in downtown Flagstaff, this restaurant offers a great dining experience, though parking can be a bit tricky. Just a heads up, the train passes by frequently, about every five minutes, so be prepared for some noise. The restaurant itself is spacious and very clean.There’s a lovely outdoor dining area and a separate space dedicated to the bar and brewery. The food was excellent! My husband enjoyed a hearty meat plate, my son had a flavorful pulled pork sandwich, and I ordered the mushroom burger, which was delicious. For appetizers, we shared a side of chili and some Brussels sprouts, both were fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

We had lunch there the other day, after not being there for the longest time. Service was spot on and the food came out really quick. I had wings, which were perfectly cooked. I think they make them then flash fry them, so they come out perfectly cooked and not oily at all. My girlfriend has the mahi sandwich which she really enjoyed. We took garlic fries with it and they were piping hot. Fast service, great beer, great atmosphere. Highly recommended bar food.

Great stop with wonderful service and delicious food. We came fairly close to opening and had no issue getting a table near the bar. Our server came over quickly to take drink orders and allow time to decide our food orders. We opted for some a side salad, hot wings, pretzels and my husband and I to share the campfire meal with chicken, pulled pork, green beans, Mac and cheese and a yummy jalapeño cornbread muffin. They had many beers on tap which included sour beer. Everything came out quickly. The chicken was a bit dry but better with the bbq sauce. Everything else was really good. I think our favorite honestly was the green beans and pork. Man n cheese stayed saucy which I loved. It did taste like velveeta which who cares as long as not dried out and flavorless. We liked it. The only negative for us was that their parking lot that you think would be free is a paid lot. Unless you’re lucky to find a free spot and walk it’s your only option. This is unfortunately a price you’ll pay for exploring downtown.

AMAZING! Just here for the weekend and I'm so glad we stopped at Lumberyard! Great food, fast & friendly service, and a good atmosphere. We thought we had to pay for parking (like most reviews stated) but since we arrived near 8pm, the host said it was free! We ordered the Mahi sandwich, Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Club Mac, and for dessert, the Banana Pudding (to go). Soooo good! Yes, the train runs consistently but I think it adds to the outdoorsy vibe. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Flagstaff.

Loved our visit in Flagstaff for our daughter's 21st birthday today. Our server Emma was outstanding. Very welcoming and attentive. Even brought out a "birthday jar" of banana pudding to surprise our daughter. Food was hot and everything we got was delicious. No wait time for our party of 6 either. Staff is all very upbeat and helpful. You can tell this place is run by some cool people. Excellent service all around.

Wow. What an elegant experience. I came into this bar to enjoy a fine crisp ale along with watching some Sunday night football. Steelers vs packers tonight, Aaron Rodger’s is going to see what he can do against his former team. I’ve had a pretty long day of schoolwork, & I have a pretty busy schedule for the next few weeks so I needed to relax and turn the ol brain off. Walking into the bar of this restaurant completely took my breath away. The bartenders (Mitch, Ada, Jeffery) were extremely attentive and graced me with a beer that blew my hair back. I’m tell you, this beer was finer than frog hairs split four ways. The only thing that could be improved is the TV size, but I’m not taking off any stars because I’m not a man that goes onto the internet to complain. Give these bartenders a raise and trade Kyler Murray, we can finish the season with Brissett & figure out another QB, Kyler is not our guy. We’re lucky we’re on a bye week to give us a break from getting absolutely lit up.

Cocktails were overly sweet, not well balanced. Chicken sandwich was very dry. Mac and cheese was more paste-like instead of creamy-cheesy Boneless wings were great! Good service, really great patio. Cool spot to hang with friends, lower your food expectations.

Business promotes violence. Stopped in to get some food and drink but used the restroom first and saw two stickers promoting violence. The fact that middle sticker between these has been removed suggests the ones left are intentional. DO NOT support this business if you value non-violence and think politcal differences do not justify violence.

The low rating makes no sense. The food here is incredible. Best black bean/veggie burger in town, by far. The outdoor space is amazing, and they often have live music. Staff is always great

i just had the best experience, our bartender alexander was extremely attentive and just made the experience phenomenal. welcoming, talented, and makes you feel like you’re the most important guest in the room. His energy sets the tone for the whole place. Between his amazing service and the overall vibe, this bar is a total must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

Great atmosphere on Sundays and the best patio in town, Food is decent. Waitstaff is great but management keeps the place understaffed and disorganized,so it makes it difficult for them to do their jobs well. The Female bartender has been very rude, dismissive and even insulting. This place could use a serious revamp. When there's a band playing, FBC is really a great spot. Otherwise there are much better choices elsewhere.

Cool little place in the heart of old town and shops. The beer was good, but the food was way better. I would definitely recommend the poutine, it was delicious and you get a huge portion. I could not finish it all. The BLAT was really good too. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Stopped in while in town on 10/4. Bless her poor heart, but the waitress was by herself ( with a host and bartender who seemed to not be able to help her). So, the wait was long. Lighting in the establishment is very poor and I would say for a brewery the beer selection was very limited.

Food is good, beer is even better. Plenty a different beers to choose from and a satisfying food menu. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The wait staff is kind and knowledgeable. A great stop for lunch and a brew.

My wife and I make a point of coming here every time we are in Flagstaff. Absolutely love Pie Hole Porter! My #1 favorite beer and never disappoints! Great service and very attentive. Could do better on keeping t-shirts stocked. Always have to go to other location to try and find.

Brussels sprouts are good! Burger & mac n cheese not so much. very laid back, food is good if you are looking for a quick bite but want for the prices the flavor is veryyyyy lacking.

Pro tip: The truffle & Swiss is an almost unbelievably delicious burger! Seriously one of the best burgers. Coarse ground beef, perfectly seasoned & cooked, accompanied by stellar fries (side of truffle aioli). The cook responsible has serious skills! I’d drive a day just for that burger. Beers are muddy, muddled and almost lazy in the brew execution. I mean they’re fine, but no where near where they could be. I went to the cocktail lounge side and was one of two customers, that was a bit of a hack as the other side was v busy. Bar was seriously stocked with choice. I’ll come back to sample the menu some more.

Had a great time here. The mead was good. I started with the flight of six. They were all very tasty. The mango reaper and root bee all was my fave. There was also some very cool artwork and they sold some cool merchandise. They do ship their wine.

This place is more than amaze balls. Jasper and her manager are fantastic ladies who fit the style of this viking drinking hall. Their lovely disposition made us come back twice. The meads are amazing to try. Im not a drinker but my husband who is a fan of meads loves their flavors. He had a few of the 6 flights to try to find his favorite and he did. We bought a bottle to bring back home with us. I loved the Butter bee-ah. Sweet and dangerous. My favorite kind of cocktail. We were allowed to bring in our own food since they do not serve any food here. Military discount is available. And the smiles are free with the tasty meads this hall has to offer.

This place is incredible! Sarah and Vivian were absolute darlings, the service was incredible and the mead was even better! Our whole party came in feeling average and came out feeling amazing. I definitely recommend, I wish this were available in my hometown

Friendly staff welcomed us immediately. Efficient service for mead (we didn't order food), drinks arrived in less than 5 minutes for a party of 6. Wide selection (some are seasonal, so menu varies). Multiple options for tasting flights (half/full/longship['secret' option]). Food menu available upon request. Mead menu welcomes outside food for customers. Highly recommend.

This is why we came to Flagstaff for the weekend!! We saw this place on Instagram and this weekend just worked to buzz up and check it out. To try as many flavors as possible we went with 2 flights. Some favorites were the Bluetooth, Root-beeah, Lemon Ginger (for me), and Lime. We also brought a couple bottles home. If this was in our neighborhood we'd be here Friday nights playing games and drinking mead.

He knew we were standing there, barely gave us an acknowledgement when we were trying to put in an order. We stood there a few more minutes and then left. He never got off his phone and didn’t provide any reason as to why he wasn’t serving us. On to the next place. Stay classy Flagstaff.

Great beer selection, friendly staff, and dog-friendly atmosphere! This local tap room is a fantastic spot to try a wide variety of beers. They have something for everyone, whether you're a craft beer aficionado or just looking for a casual drink. It's owned by a lovely local couple and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend a beer based on your preferences. Best of all, it's a smoke-free environment on the patio, which makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Plus, you can bring your furry friend along – they're dog (and duck) friendly!

Nice place, good selection of beer on tap and a tiny fridge of cans including Athletic NA beer. Our large party grabbed the big table in the middle without issue. I was looking specifically for local IPAs and I actually don't recall their being many Flagstaff beers at all ... which I guess is good if you live there and want something different!

This is a great beer bar in downtown Flagstaff. It shares a restroom/hall with the neighboring coffee shop and wine bar, so there is something for just about everyone. The missing star is mostly due to the restroom, which is either in the midst of a remodel, or in severe disarray.

Always a good time! They rotate alot of craft handles get a ton of specialty beers right in the heart of flag. Locally owned and operated, live music often!

Love the vibe. Was in early after a rim to rim Grand Canyon hike. Wanted to try more but needed to head back south. Recommend to those traveling thru flagstaff wanting some good beer and excellent can options.

Went here for lunch, and I had a great time. I have to say I was very surprised at how good the food was (delicious) and our waitress was attentive and very nice. We went there for lunch, so it was pretty quiet with a few people playing billiards. I love small places like this that feel comfortable, like your own little hometown place. I would recommend this for a casual lunch or a place to play pool and hang out.

I have to admit, I’m super disappointed. My fiancé picked up a patty melt with tots and ranch to go. He was ignored for ten minutes. The burger patty was small in proportion to the bread, the cheese was not melted and the onions were burnt. On top of that the ranch was water. The only good thing was the tots, and they needed salt. And this is the second time we’ve had this problem with the food quality being pretty poor. The only good thing about this place nowadays is the whiskey. If Bo was still here, this would not stand.

If you're looking for crispy tots or fish and chips, this is the place to go! The tots and fish had a thick batter that was crispy and tasty. Part pub, but mostly a large pool hall. Indoor and covered outdoor seating available. In downtown Flagstaff, so street parking or lots.

Been coming here since I moved to Flagstaff from ATL about 4 years ago…granted it’s a little bit more occasional these days due to my schedule. Nevertheless, the bar and kitchen staff have always been wonderful. They definitely treat you like family and have always been great people. No matter how long it’s been since I’ve been in, someone still somehow remembers I basically always get the house margarita, which is delicious, by the way. Great people, amazing whiskey selection (you can get your name up on the wall if you try them all in a year. RIP your liver but most are great), fun pool tables for a good price, and a good late night crowd if you’re into that. Friendly employees, and nice atmosphere. My very picky 4 year old who typically only eats bread and cheese loved his slider. Ate the whole thing! Very impressed.

Very nice pub, lovely pints of Guinness. Very large inside plenty of seating and lots of pool tables. Didn't have food but the portions looked good. Very large bar and the staff where very friendly

As a bar, it's nice. Honestly a little nicer than I care for personally, but I like a dive bar. This place definitely isn't a dive bar at all, but I could see myself going here on a quiet night for a good cocktail. Given the college-student clientele, I would assume that it gets *packed* on Fridays and Saturdays which also isn't my personal preference As a karaoke spot, it's a hard pass. First, there was no energy in the room for it at all - nobody cared there was karaoke going on. If I wanna sing to a dead room, I'll go sing in my closet. Second, I *hate* the ticket sign-up system anywhere I go; like I wanna talk to the host and make sure they have my song and see how long the line is. Third, the place is kinda too nice for karaoke. The karaoke vibe doesn't match the atmosphere at all. Feels weird singing there, I left after one drink So, as a bar I'd give it five stars. As a karaoke place, I give it one star. I think a 3 star average is fair

Out of all the bars in downtown Flagstaff this one is my favorite I believe. It's got a bit of everything including a hotel which is possibly haunted. On the weekends there's multiple bars and lounge areas that offer something for everyone. Not to much not to little.

Love this place, but the employees have too much they work in such a cool place. I asked the manager what room were haunted, she said she didn't know. I asked her for her name to address her property, she wouldn't tell me. Cool cultural downtown place, but employees are a mini mob. Get a new full new staff. If you don't like your job, get a new one. It's not fair yo all the tourists and visitors.

We have been coming to Flagstaff for the Pine Cone Drop, 6 years now. We usually stay at the newer hotels and drive to downtown for the entertainment. We love the lounge here and the Lotus Lounge is just next door. We called 6 months ago to get a room and table as they are always sold out and booked. So, plan ahead and have an amazing time. Any bar that has a band with trumpet and trombone players gets 5 stars from me.... stop in this joint and get metal detected. it's worth it. Oh... and has as big a selection of drinks as you'd ever need.

We stopped in at 5pm on a Friday and the lounge was packed. It took quite awhile to wrestle to the bar and get drinks orders but the cappuccino's were fantastic. Great ambiance in the old Monte VIsta lobby/hotel. Very welcoming and cozy to hang out for a few hours.

Went there with a long time friend on Thanksgiving, had not been to this place in 20 plus years, no cover to get in and they had a full table set up with Turkey, ham, stuffing, everything you want for a Thanksgiving meal including pumpkin pie. They even had kereokee. The only thing we paid for was the drinks from the bar. Loved it.

Trail Crest Brewery has a wonderful selection of local Arizona beers and wine. I wanted to try something different, and I found it in the Historic Piehole Porter! A Trail Crest original, this full bodied, traditional porter is brewed with fresh cherries and vanilla with just a tiny hint of chocolate. Delicious! IF you are partial to something a little less stout, there are also a variety of blonde and pale ales ,IPAs, and even ciders and meads. IF you don't find what you're looking for on the beer or wine list, have the very friendly bar staff mix one of their specialty cocktails, like an Apple Mead martini, or Pirates Grog. Back in the kitchen, Chef Jason puts a personal spin on some traditional bar favorites. The burgers are awesome, made with grass fed beef,but bring an appetite, because they are piled halfway to the moon with good stuff! The black bean chili is fantastic, with lots of pork and beef, cheddar cheese, chives, and a dollop of sour cream. There are also gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan choices on the menu, as well. Try the Tepary bean hummus, or the roasted pecans with honey, salt, and chili powder. To keep you entertained they have air hockey, pool, darts, and even electronic boxing. I recommend giving this place a try. It could end up being your new favorite hangout!

We came here just to get a few beers after unfortunately eating at a sub par restaurant, but I wish we had eaten here because the food looks delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I’ll update this review when we actually eat here. Can’t wait for the brewery to open so I can taste what they have in store.

They don't use hamburger buns on their burgers but rather a couple pieces of toast. Don't be fooled by their photos. I ordered the $17 half-pound burger and while it wasn't bad, it definitely wasn't worth that price.

They have different sizes of beer, more than what I've seen in other places. I ordered some fries and, no joke, they were out quicker than the beer! I don't think that's a bad thing so I appreciated that. The seating is spacious but cozy. The server was on it, checking up on us and being friendly. Nice place to be on a Thursday night. Definitely going back.

Went to Trail Crest for lunch today and it was fantastic! I had a burger and fries, but also tried some of the other dishes my family had ordered. The burger was made with local beef, cooked exactly to order (medium) and seasoned perfectly. It was served on an outstanding in-house made beer bread. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had! My sons had the wings and the special which was a roast beef and cheddar sandwich with caramelized onions that was so tender and delicious - also served on that yummy grilled beer bread. The wings were to die for - smoked and then fried and sauced - brilliant! We also had some beet hummus which was amazing and such a beautiful color! I wasn't able to enjoy a beer this time, but the beer and drink menus looked amazing! The wait staff was attentive, fast, and very friendly and knowledgeable. I have eaten at almost all the downtown Flagstaff restaurants many times, and they are all set a very high bar for food quality and flavor. Trail Crest is totally on par with all of the best restaurants in town. I have a new favorite! Plus, parking is FREE!!! Oh, and they have pool tables! What a cool place. I will be eating here a lot more :)

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times within the last couple of months. The first time we came we had an amazing server. He greeted us at the bar with such a warm smile and gave us a few samples of their beer selection, which is awesome that they encourage and support local beer companies. All three times we have come there have been great. The most recent time the owner greeted us and started conversation with us. He was very proud and excited of his business and could tell this place means a lot! A caring owner makes a place feel welcoming for sure! I no longer work in the restaurant business but did for four years. I know good service when I see one! My boyfriend wanted a beer, but they just changed the keg, so for free, they gave him the rest of what was left to hold him over! He was happy to say the least! We are excited for this place to expand and being it's so close to our home, free parking, nothing better then a cozy brewery close to home to go have a couple drinks in with some friends on a snowy night!

Many different options for vegan and gluten free diets. You can order food to order. The staff was courteous and attentive. Even management stopped by to see how things were. All juices for drinks are fresh squeezed. We had a party of 8 so we made reservations. The brewery was interesting to see. There were pool tables. It was just a fun evening with great food and service. We would all go back again if in the area.

The dough is odd - it lacks the big bubbles of a proper Neapolitan-style pizza (I assume from underdeveloped gluten), but still has high moisture. The result isn't quite tender enough and mostly brings to mind undercooked sandwich bread. It helps to fold it over so you don't have to eat the crust alone. The margherita's mozzarella is spread too wide, which results in an overly homogenous flavor, mostly dominated by cheese with the occasional burst of basil. The tomato didn't come across much, but where it did, it tasted overly processed. The amore oi mari was pretty solid. I think American food tends to work better when there's more going on. I can't tell whether it's the supply chains, the chefs, or it being made for an American market - but that's why I call it "American food". Service, atmosphere: efficient, no frills, just how I like it.

Pizzicletta is the go-to pizza spot in Flagstaff. My husband and I have literally driven up from Phoenix just for pizza, wine, and gelato then back home! We love to roadtrip, though. They probably have the best dough in Arizona.

We started with the Rosemary Focaccia appetizer and shared the Diavola pizza. The chili oil on the pizza was the perfect finishing touch! Everything was amazing. We even had room left for a scoop of their homemade Salted Caramel gelato, which tasted just like a Werther’s candy! We’re definitely coming back to try more of their menu!

The pizza here is amazing. The Gelato was great too. You can tell the people take pride in what they do here. Totally recommend.

Great little pizza place in Flagstaff. If you like neapolitan style, they do a nice job. I had the Diavola but didn’t read the ingredients well and would have loved it without the honey. It wasn’t too spicy. The dough was chewy. Nice pepperoni. I picked up.

Giving this a 5 for FLAVOR let's talk about food shall we Pizza has almost been ruined for me because I've had the most delicious fired pie in Italy As a result a return to the states has left my pizza palate a little flat and then came along this place We ordered the DIAVOLA A bit bold for someone who is terrified of spice but the crisp chili, soothing sweetness of honey, and light crispy brick crust was a surprising delight I don't know what I was expecting nor did I ever think I'd find it in Flagstaff but this spot is so good I can't wait to take my friend who is from Italy there for the experience The venue is small so if you're a large party you may need to split up. I love that they have a community table. The pleasure of eating delicious pizza amongst smiling strangers was refreshing. They do offer some outside seating but again keep in mind this venue is small I did see a lot of people ordering their gelato flight and they all seemed pretty happy with their selections Highly recommend the DIAVALO even if you're afraid of spicy foods you won't be disappointed

Best most friendly service and pizzas are always executed PERFECTLY. It seems the employees really care and seem happy. The crust is the best I’ve had from any pizza place, chewy, crispy, doesn’t go limp and soggy when you pick up a slice. Almost has a sourdough flavor, very good flavor. The sauce is the best, fresh and sweet not overseasoned. They don’t put excessive cheese (I may be one of the few people who do not like tons of cheese on the pizza, but let the crust, sauce, and toppings shine through. Can’t stand when the cheese is thicker than the actual crust!). The pepperonis are the little thick cups and they get it super crispy. The crust wasn’t burnt ( I hate burnt crust which happens often with wood fired pizza). I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place now. Our usual wood fired pizza place in Flagstaff has gone downhill in quality and they’re always so busy they sometimes don’t even take your order. Pizzicletta is much better anyways!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! It's easy to miss since it's upstairs downtown but you absolutely must try it. Amazing wine and beer selection and amazing food. An incredible selection of games, definitely the best at a bar. The ambiance cannot be beat. This is definitely a place to go on a date, hang out with friends, or even just chill and do homework. The staff is fantastic - super well educated on wine. Love this place!!!!

Such a great spot for delicious wines and an even better food menu items. We came in for a glass of wine while we walked the downtown streets of Flagstaff, but were pleasantly surprised with not only their vast wine selection, but also the great atmosphere and menu. We will definitely be back. There were so many things to choose from, we opted for the oysters, hummus and meatballs and loved it all. Oh! ... and don''t forget to try the sorbet at the end.

We loved the wine and service from the friendly staff, but here was the big surprise - the food was GREAT too. The mushroom Alfredo pasta was to die for and a bigger than I expected. The meatballs were huge (albeit a bit cold) and the risotto quite tasty. Priced reasonably. Started off that it could be nice, but boy were we wrong. Called ahead to see if there was a wait. “Nope, we’re a bar, no wait at all.” Beautiful room, up some weird rickety carpeted stairs (not wheelchair accessible) in an old apartment building. Beautiful long room, very dimly lit, empty at first. We got a table for our party, got some plates and utensils. Took a little bit to review the menu and then placed our orders at the bar. The older gray/white haired man with glasses and a ponytail was running around like crazy, and seemed to be extremely distracted and wearing too many hats. Would walk away multiple times from us at the bar as we each placed our order, changing the vinyl record player, cleaning up dishes, etc. Was very rude and abrupt to some in our party. Half of our party ordered our food at 7:12pm (per our receipt) and we did not get it until 8:46pm. We were sitting by the kitchen, open view, and the two young men working in the kitchen definitely seemed extremely overworked and probably underpaid. They worked fast and well, and I guess our ticket got completely lost. Half of our party got their food shortly after ordering. The other half did not. The server in the beanie hat with a beard also seemed to be overworked and running around like crazy, nice and polite, but told us about 1 hour into our wait for our meal that one of the items we had ordered had run out and they could refund it or substitute it. One in our party kindly but sternly asked the staff to refund those in the party whose meal was an hour and a half late, which they did thankfully. But any other restaurant worth their salt would have already apologized and offered to comp the extremely late meal without us asking. Once we finally got our meal, the house potato fingerlings were horribly tough. They were worse than when you over cook a baked potato in the microwave. If we were not starving, they would have been inedible. Part of the meal that was an hour and a half late was a charcuterie board….that should have been out immediately!!! The music was way too loud and overpowering. As we waited for our meal, other tables came and went, were served and changed and refilled and emptied. The bathrooms were large and down a lonely deserted hall, so definitely take a buddy. The server in the beanie and the kitchen staff did their jobs well enough, we don’t fault them. But definitely ridiculous. Gray haired bar man, rude and abrupt. Never even apologized to us at all. They keep credit cards for your tab if you have one. Don’t return it until closing the tab. They had some gluten free menu items, but again, who knows if they are any good normally; our food was overdone, and extremely late.

Listen, people are making this sound like a Mecca. It's very nice, worth the visit, but nothing extraordinary for sure. A decent selection of wines by the glass. About 10 or so for red and white and a few bubbly. Prices are anywhere from $10 on up which I suppose is normal these days. Good selection of wines but an emphasis on French and Italian for sure. I was surprised that the wines are not in a vacuum sealed casing considering they only sell them by the glass to keep them fresh. Wines were room temperature which made the red ones a tad warm. The food was good but honestly nothing out of this world. The scallops of which there were three, were served on a bed of street corn which was basically just corn sauteed in butter. $32. Little pricey should have been low twenties. Same thing with the meatballs. They were very good but there were three of them and the price point should have been a lot less. You order at the bar which was fine. Waited quite a while for the peach cobbler which was just okay. Atmosphere is very cozy. My biggest complaint is the music. I don't know why all bars feel the responsibility to play music loud enough to where you have to shout to be heard. It wasn't just that. It was the selection of music. It was like a modern version of the doors which some may love but it just felt weird in a tiny space like this. All in all it was good but I've been there once and I don't need to go back there again.

The food and dessert here are absolutely amazing. I came about a week and a half ago and had a fantastic experience, which is why I was excited to bring my family in today. Unfortunately, the service this time was downright disappointing. The lady working the bar on 9/16/25 started out fine, but when it came time to pay, I was sitting there with my card in hand when she loudly called out, “I need someone to pay the tab.” even though I was clearly waiting to do so. Again, I was still seated holding my card in my hand not going anywhere, even if my family got up to leave.. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional, especially when trying to give my family the same great experience I had before. The food is excellent and unique, but I hope the service can be more consistent so it matches the quality of the kitchen. Left a bad taste in my mouth for wanting to go back with friends, family or clients.

Looking for a great Ramen place? This is it. Stopped in for a quick early dinner while in Flagstaff recently. The place was busy. We ordered and received our Ramen in a reasonable time. We ordered the Katsu and Gyoza Ramen. They have a large menu with appetizers and different options including cocktails, beer and wine. Would recommend.

We loved our food. The service wasn't the best, but it wasn't horrible. The pork belly is very expensive for the portion they give you. Their half off during happy hour is definitely worth it.

First off, it’s open later than most food places in DT Flag. We did the 830 stargazing show at the observatory which didn’t get out until 9:10(ish). We hadn’t eaten dinner and were hungry, but by then most places were already closed. We are so glad we found this place. Both ramens were so good and the bao wasn’t bad either. Service was great especially considering how busy they were. Will definitely hit up this place again next time in Flag.

Good vibing place in flagstaff neighborhood. We ordered for their Bao Buns with mushrooms and Tsukune. Mushrooms were little salty but with the buns it tasted good. Tsukune chicken was amazing and juicy. We also ordered Miso carrot cake, something really different and a must try.

By the time we wrapped up our stargazing adventure at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, the night had crept in and most restaurants had already turned off their lights and flipped their signs to Closed. Just as our hopes for a decent meal began to fade, we chanced upon Sosoba — a quirky, neon-lit noodle joint still buzzing with life. We demolished the Tantanmen ramen — delicious, with a unique twist that blends flavours reminiscent of pozole and ramen, making it both satisfying and comforting. It felt like the universe had aligned once more, guiding us from the stars straight to steaming bowls of late-night stomach pleasers.

We stopped by SoSoBa during Happy Hour and were pleasantly surprised—ramen was just $8 each at 50% off! The food came out super fast, was flavorful, and hit the spot. Our server was upbeat, fun, and made the experience even better. Great spot for a casual, tasty meal at a solid price. Would definitely return!

Fun cocktail menu and they are the fun mixologists who know their stuff and can whip up some yummy cocktails. Cocktails are reasonably priced. Thanks for such a fun memory!

A delightful cocktail lounge with a great “Happy Hour” drink menu (they refer to it as “local”). Excellent food and service, with a large window that opens outside. Dog-friendly patio.

Came to the Annex for my wedding dinner. The Shed in the back was beautifully decorated and warm. The food and service were both exceptional. I would recommend coming here for anyone looking for an intimate venue.

We stopped in for Arizona Restaurant Week and had a delicious three course meal that absolutely blew us away. The flavors on every dish were rich and you really wanted to savor each bite. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I'd come back to The Annex anytime.

We experienced an entertaining evening with cocktails and a live musician in the uniquely decorated outdoor setting at The Annex Cocktail Lounge. Our entrées were delicious. My husband had a great fish and chips order. I ordered the chicken pot pie. It had large chunks of chicken, vegetables, and a delightful lemon flavor that I’ve never had before. It was very tasty and the crust was perfect-flaky and crisp. Unfortunately, the craft cocktails didn’t hit the mark and the greens and lime wedge were limp/old. I would go there again, but probably select wine for my beverage.

We had our family reunion and was told audio and projector was going to be provided neither was day of the event, looks like a cool place there was a band setting up so it's nice place for live music but maybe not for events

Stopped in for a drink as the place was in walking distance of our hotel. It was 6:45 on a Friday and the place had only a few patrons. Apparently it doesn't get busy until after 9pm. The bar/ country dance floor, is full of memorabilia and photos of famous people who had visited there as it's on route 66 and party of history, plus rustic wood cabin feel. There is a large outside area to sit and also play corn hole. Would have like to have there when busier. Definitely a place to check on route 66, if only for a drink.

Always just passed by this location while in Flagstaff but finally decided to check it out. Must have been a slow night but bar was half empty, Live hand on stage was ok. Customers on the dance floor dancing was the high light. Only stayed for 1 drink.

We went there for free swing dancing lessons. It was fun. It was not air conditioned when we were there but it was still comfortable. They had lots of fans running.

Amazing historic bar. It’s a must to stop by and enjoy the ambience and music! Staff are fantastic and responsive. While I’m not from here, it holds the charm of Flagstaff locals. I always come when in town to enjoy — and go see if I can catch a glimpse of Thorna and evidence of her humor! (PS Come in early before a show to snag a table and to check out the decorations!)

Absolutely fantastic food. We had salt and vinegar cheese curds, the Korean style Fried chicken Sammie and the Cesar salad with fried chicken. You would never guess these items are all gluten free. (You need to specify the gluten free bun on the Sammie) All the food was absolutely Fantastic! The beer was good with a few gluten reduced options but not all beers were gluten reduced so pay attention to that- mixed drinks looked good from what I saw but I did not get one myself. We need a location in Tucson too!

Its a very cool place, with many optio of drinks and food. Very good service, nice atmosphere and very good quality of food and drink. We order the easter menu and it was flawless, simply amazing.

Fantastic local brewery with a 🐕 friendly patio. Oh, the 🍺 Hefeweizen & Gose were awesome. We enjoyed a fresh, hot, and tasty 🥨 served with beer cheese & mustard. The music and volume were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a nice conversation under the shade-screen. The food & beverages here are on point. Great service, clean restrooms 🚻, and the large patio area will keep us coming back. Monday night is Bingo, and it gets loud and busy with a large following. It was entertaining to watch all those engaging in the yelling associated with Bingo.

Very popular on a Friday night. But not too busy to get food and drinks in a timely manner. There was a love band playing tonight and the music was cool. So many posters around for the different upcoming events! I wish I lived close to take part in the fun nights they have on the way! Extremely dog friendly. Treats and food for dogs. Also they're welcomed to sit on the patio with you. I even saw some come inside to order the food. So cute! Plenty of seating around, parking is cheap near by. Easy to get to by walking. The flights were amazing. The foodd was delicious. Favorites were the salmon bruschetta and the mango foxtrot. The whole menu is interesting and worth coming in to try everything.

This place was nice. They had an outside Patio that is dog friendly !! The Location was nice and the place was very lively. The food was Outstanding! The burgers were melting in your mouth, meat and ingredients were very fresh, on top of that the bun was really good and it made the burger taste even better. Also my wife said that the salad was really fresh and she really liked it because of the dressing, she described it as a mix of vinaigrette and pickle juice.

What's not to love -good food, kind support staff, plenty of outdoor seating, a variety of drinks, beer, cocktails and ciders. The patio is dog friendly and oftentimes has live music. 5 stars 🤩

Had one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a bar. I was continually harassed by a drunk. I brought this up to the bartender. She first said "I didn't hear him say anything to you." Then it escalated and he continued to yell comments at me. The bartender said "It's not my problem and it's between you two". I have never felt more uncomfortable or treated as badly in a bar. Luckily I was able to leave without an altercation but I won't be returning.

Reilly is the best bartender in Flagstaff, I love the service and vibes of Pay n Take. If you’re a local or visiting this place is must go to!

Is there a better place to chill at the end of a long Friday night? Methinks not. It’s small, it’s quaint, and it stocked full of so many different beers that, despite my best efforts to try them all, I got cut off and was forced to tap out.

Bella took great care in serving and sharing some of the history of this beautiful (possibly haunted) hotel. It's a must-stop. We came back to watch the sunset from the 3rd-floor balcony. We enjoyed a bite to eat and drinks, too. Everyone is so friendly! Highly recommend.

Great bar (1 of 2) with some history in an old hotel in downtown Flagstaff. Decent beer selection, plenty of room inside and outside on the balcony with great views. It does get quite busy when college is in session, but tolerable. The bartending staff is very pleasant and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in for a brew.

We had our wedding in the Zane Grey and Balcony. After many changes of what we wanted our wedding to look like we kept coming back to the Weatherford Hotel. Kim was so amazing, and helped us answer questions that we didn’t even think of. Tony was a great bartender, even tended to the kids very kindly. The night was flawless and food was great! Everyone is still talking about that month later. We would relive our special night again and again! Thank you, thank you!

What a fantastic spot! The live music on the night we visited really made the experience special. Cameron Jameson was the performer, and he was incredible. His mix of great original songs and well-chosen covers created the perfect vibe. It's definitely a place I'd recommend for a good time and some amazing tunes.
