Coffee shop

Burrito restaurant
Nestled just north of Flagstaff's historic downtown, Kickstand Kafe is a delightful coffee shop that perfectly blends convenience with charm. This locally owned spot is an ideal pit stop for travelers heading to the Grand Canyon or Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort. With its inviting atmosphere, complete with a crackling fireplace and cozy seating, it's hard to resist lingering over a cup of their heartwarming Illy espresso.
Stopped in here when they opened Sunday morning for coffee and breakfast before our day of hiking. The food was amazing (Flag Bagel Sandwich and Breakfast Burrito). It was made quickly and tasted great.

Stopped on our way out of town. The drinks were great. They had milk substitution options. We ate outside on a beautiful Monday morning. We took the rest of our drinks to go. Food was good and service was quick. The Roogz croissant was fresh and the pesto gave it a good burst of flavor. Light on the arugula which is what I like. The burrito was ok, not the best, but not the worst. The lox bagel was great. Pickled onions were the star. Overall, cute quaint drive through coffee/breakfast place.
Trish W — Google review
One of the best cups of coffee in town! Fun, hip, always friendly and accommodating staff. I came here looking for some good espresso drinks and kept coming back for all their food and pastries as well. Their cortado is always rich and flavorful, scones are soft and yummy, food is simple, fresh and nutritious. These guys care about ingredients. Always lots of seating indoors or outdoors, great atmosphere, drive through and to go options. Thank you guys for nourishing me during my stay in Arizona!

My husband visited this cozy little café multiple times during our stay in Flagstaff. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe with friendly staff. A great spot to relax and enjoy a casual coffee break.
Anu R — Google review
Very pleasant experience. Staff was friendly, short wait time for food and drinks. I enjoyed my Big Kicker sandwich and iced coffee. My wife enjoyed her Fixie sandwich and chai tea.
Thomas L — Google review
I went there today and ordered a medium vanilla latte and a warm croissant, through the drive thru. I was told to pull up to the second window and wait there. A few minutes later I get my latte but was asked to pull up to the walk area because they couldnt get the second window opened. I wait for my croissant and wait.. the person behind gets their things… I let one of the employees know I still waiting on my croissant and she says it should be right out and to back up to the window. I let her know it wasnt working and I was told to wait here. Over 10 minutes and gone by and I finally got my croissant. I considered leaving multiple times but I had already paid over $13 for a pastry and coffee so I waited. I get to work and pick up my cup— which was very light— and kid you not the drink is only 2/3 full and the croissant partially burnt. Overall terrible service, overpriced and the food is severely lacking.
Tania H — Google review
Stopped by after a hike, the Breakfast burrito was really good for their price point. The snowbunny specialty coffee was one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. I would will be coming back when I'm back in town.
Aja V — Google review
Love kickstand! Their tea selection is wonderful loose leaf tea. They are fast and always nice! Love their breakfast sandwiches. They also offer lots of gluten free options with bread and bagels. Always willing to adjust the meal to meet allergy needs. I personally like a different type of coffee shop atmosphere but it’s still great to meet with people or work!

Coffee shop
Matador Coffee Roasting Company, founded in 2005 by the dynamic father-son duo Jack and Mario Martusciello, has become a beloved fixture in Flagstaff, Arizona. Originally starting their coffee journey in Scottsdale, they relocated to this picturesque town and transformed an old auto repair shop into a vibrant café.
The coffee was fantastic, I got a Hot Vanilla Latte and a Breakfast Burrito. They were both delicious and couldn't be happier with the service, the line was long but went very quick. The atmosphere was great, and the outside seating was super nice. They also have outdoor heaters when it gets cold! Highly recommend!
Michael M — Google review
The lady at the front was lovely and the ambience cool. The rest… I ordered an oatmilk latte, it was so hot that I burnt my entire mouth and there was no microfoam, just overly heated milk. No latte art either. They remade it with whole milk (thanks!), but even then, it was not a latte. Way too many air bubbles in the milk, coffee tasted burnty For someone who loves coffee and knows a fair bit about it, it was disappointing. At a coffee place, I would expect great coffee - what I came for.
Theresa L — Google review
Nothing special about this shop. Music was a little loud. Latte was good, smooth roast espresso. They were out of almost all of the pastries. Breakfast sandwich was odd, individual components were ok, but didn’t work as sandwich. Loose scrambled eggs and chopped sausage that fell out of the croissant.

Matador Coffee Roasting: A Must-Visit Gem! This local roastery is an absolute find where you can enjoy freshly roasted coffee on-site with incredible hospitality. Sunshine (what a perfect name!) welcomed me with such warmth, along with the rest of the amazing team. The vibe here is just wonderful - whether you’re sitting inside or out on the patio that gives off serious Spanish vibes. The coffee is outstanding, and I highly recommend the Turkey Spicy Toasted sandwich - it’s this amazing sweet, savory, and spicy combo that’ll blow your mind! I was so hooked I ordered a second one, plus I had to buy their “Jacked” coffee blend and one of their signature Matador mugs to take home. Pro tip: Order an Americano and you get free refills all day! Huge shoutout to this awesome all-female team. Matador Coffee Roasting is definitely a must-see spot when you’re in Flagstaff!

Staff was the nicest I have EVER met. Good people, good coffee, good vibes. What more can you ask for? More coffee? Yes please!
Travis N — Google review
Traveling through from out of town and all I wanted was a delicious coffee. What I got was 2 cups of milk. Couldn’t even taste the syrups or the coffee. My kids didn’t even enjoy their hot cocoa… again tasted like plain milk. I SO wish we weren’t traveling and I could have turned around and handed these drinks right back and asked for a refund. They were pricey! Over $7 a cup… definitely don’t stop here.
Caitlynn E — Google review
Good place to stop in and hangout and study. Prices and portions are very reasonable. Gluten free options. Food was a 6.5 out of ten. Overall a good coffee shop, would come back.

Best coffew place out of all those we visited at flagstaff. My Indian wife tried the Chai tea latte 100% spicy and she loved it. The breakfast sandwich was a good portion and delicious too

Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery is a beloved spot in Flagstaff, offering a cozy atmosphere and a diverse menu. Whether you're craving espresso drinks or looking for vegan and gluten-free options, Macy's has something for everyone. The cafe is known for its delicious pastries like the apple pie croissant and French cinnamon rolls, as well as hearty dishes such as biscuits and gravy.
Fun café! The place was busy but the line moved fast. Wide menu of coffee drinks. My flat white was rich and flavorful. They have a separate line for coffee only which was nice. We had yogurt fruit and a waffle. All were very good. We ate outside and met folks from all over.
Ray T — Google review
Good food. A little cramped space wise, they are fast with care of customers. Cappuccino was good. They didn’t have vanilla flavoring but had other choices to sweeten it. Biscuits and gravy were very filling! Love that they shaped it into a heart. It was delicious.
Christine M — Google review
Definitely yeah one of the more popular places. The Americano was absolutely perfect. The egg and cheese croissant was also excellent. Very simple and full of flavor. I can see why they're always so damn busy
Walter S — Google review
This was a nice spot to enjoy a coffee. It’s homey and a locals favorite. It was packed on a Saturday. My oatmilk latte with tax and tip was $7.60.
Jen P — Google review
This cute retro, comfy-cozy coffee shop has tons of great food options, plus a separate line up front just for coffee and cold drinks! I love the rustic vibe and how you can sit inside or outside for that perfect slow-morning feel
Heather C — Google review
This is my favorite place in America. We first stopped here 7 years ago and now I make it a point to detour through Flagstaff every time I'm driving across the country so we can stop at Macy's! I love the vegetarian food, the perfect coffee, the amazing town, and the lovely service! Do yourself a favor and visit Macy's- you'll thank me later!
Kimberly M — Google review
Stopped by on a Tuesday morning for coffees. I got a large iced dirty chai and one of their blackberry chia seed bran muffins. I will say I was expecting the large iced size drink to be bigger. The chai was a little watery but overall it was a good drink. The bran muffin was yummy but I wish they’d offered to warm it up. Such a sweet little coffee shop, maybe a little cramped but it has so much character.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Flagstaff, Late for the Train Coffee is a delightful coffee shop that has been perfecting its craft since 1995. This charming spot is housed in a stunning multi-story brick building, featuring beautifully designed ceiling tiles and warm wooden floors that create an inviting atmosphere. With lush greenery and pops of color from local artwork, it’s the ideal backdrop for both relaxation and productivity.
Needed coffee for my late drive to PHX and sat down for a much needed break 30 minutes before they closed. The coffee was solid, loved the quiet atmosphere but the place was still quite busy with lot of foot traffic in and out which was nice to see. Not sure if there is a better coffee shop downtown, but can’t go wrong here.
TheDSsucks — Google review
The matcha is very bad. Too overpriced for this sweet matcha that can’t adjust anything. The way they market is it ceremonial grade, it tastes like the one from walmart and too sweet. Not worth the money for matcha. However, the coffee taste good.
Suraphan M — Google review
The CUTEST coffee shop. I will say that I’ve had better speciality coffee but the atmosphere makes up for it. It has the most beautiful back outdoor patio that I could’ve spent hours in. Also a great downtown location so you can walk around afterwards!
Sarah D — Google review
I was really excited to try this place out, but unfortunately, I was let down by the staff. There were 3 employees behind the counter, and none of them seemed welcoming—no smiles or friendly interaction at all. We placed our order and waited for a while, only to notice that the customers who were behind us had already received their drinks and left. When we checked the counter, our drinks were just sitting there, with no one letting us know they were ready. As for the drinks, we tried the Amtrak Frappe and the Hot Blackberry White Mocha. The Frappe was disappointing. It tasted like iced slush with just a hint of coffee flavor. On the other hand, the White Mocha was actually pretty decent. I’d love to give the place another try and explore their seasonal drinks, but they definitely need to improve their customer service if they want to create a better experience for their customers.
Tracy J — Google review
I love their patio in the fall… coffee is good, the baristas could be a bit more welcoming, overall it’s a good coffee place <3
Penny P — Google review
A cute coffee shop with awesome vibes and awesome iced lattes! There was a lot of options on their menu, plenty of flavors, and milk alternatives. I really appreciated their whole bean sale program. You can come back and get your can of beans refilled at a discounted rate. I wish my local coffee shop did that! I got an iced latte with oatmilk and vanilla syrup and it was super good. A great flavor, not bitter, and very smooth. Their baristas are friendly too! I liked the theme of the shop, and they had wifi for people working on their laptops. I really liked the shop!
Tegan G — Google review
I like their cappuccino. Also, it was a very refreshing and pleasant environment. However, there should be a family-friendly restroom , at least one with a baby changing station or even a simple table.

The White Dove Coffee Shop is a longstanding Flagstaff business that offers variety of breakfast and lunch options as well as fresh espresso and coffee drinks. The cafe has an artful atmosphere with friendly baristas, making it a great place to spend a morning or afternoon.
Hidden local gem of a coffee shop. Cozy place with variety of seating options from solo to groups of 4-6. Great food and beverage selection including some vegan selections. Fast friendly service - quiet place to hang out and opens at 6:30!
Brian D — Google review
Unassuming strip mall location but what a cozy, buzzy vibe inside with a fireplace nook and countertop seating with mountain views! The service was friendly and the employees seemed to be happy to be there 🙂 I had a red eye and the espresso was smooth and delicious; I also had the avocado toast which was less toast and more limp bread but for $4 I ate without complaint. I would still like to try the vegan burrito and vegan baked goodies!
Anna W — Google review
Staying in Flagstaff at a nearby Airbnb and always look for independent coffee places. The reviews were great so I decided to stop by. I was not disappointed. Strip mall location...the inside was cozy and welcoming. I ordered the East Flag Mocha. Wow, very yummy. I'll be back tomorrow before we leave town.
Kelly M — Google review
Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the drinks were perfect with cute latte art to boot. Their pastries are also very yummy and recommended. Overall, 10/10!
Corynn H — Google review
A lovely local coffee shop with delicious coffee. I'm lucky I found this place by where I was staying since it is off the beaten path. The coffee is perfect since its smooth and not acidic. I ordered an almond milk latte and a vegan pastry. Everything with delicious. The staff is friendly and plenty of places to sit. I highly recommend stopping by. I will stop by whenever I come to Flag in the future.
Julie B — Google review
I just stopped at White Dove Coffee on my way out of Flagstaff. I got a blueberry scone and an iced white chocolate mocha made with heavy cream and with homemade whipped cream on top. They let me use my own cup and gave me a discount for doing so. The scone and coffee are delicious! Thank you, White Dove!
Kathy C — Google review
White dove is my favorite coffee spot. I come here any chance I can get as it’s on the other side of town. My food and coffee are always spot on. I’ve had many food options but the scone this morning was on point.
Erica G — Google review
Want a comfortable place where you can sit, listen to comfortable music, and still chat with friends? White Dove Coffee is just that. I was looking for a little coffee nook that wasn't a big brand and I found one. I love this place and will continue to come. Chai is my favorite with the side of the strawberry cheese Danish. Yum ❤️

Nestled on East Cedar Avenue, the family-owned Cedar House Coffee Shop & Bakery boasts a charming outdoor garden adorned with a striking sunflower mural, perfect for Instagram-worthy snapshots. The cozy interior exudes warmth with its unique furniture and subtle lighting, while the spacious patio offers breathtaking views of Mt. Elden. Indulge in locally roasted coffee, imported teas from the UK, or specialty drinks like charcoal mocha frap.
We stop here each time we visit Flagstaff. The decor and ambience is outstanding. The hot chai tea latte tasted perfect and the pastries were delicious. I was told on one visit that the pastries are all made in house. Today I ordered the pear pastry, it was perfectly flaky and the pears were seasoned in such a way that it reminded me of fall. We definitely recommend this little corner coffee shop.
Christina H — Google review
We are visiting from out of state and stopped to try this adorable coffee shop. Upon entering, we noticed the detailed and well thought-out decor as well as the lovely sitting areas throughout. There is a cozy fireplace along the one wall, seating by a window with lovely mountain views, as well as an outdoor seating area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a brown butter honeycomb latte and my husband got an almond pear pastry. I’m somewhat of a coffee snob and found this to be one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! The espresso was smooth, sweetened to perfection, and they even put little pieces of honeycomb on top of my latte. The pastry was light and flaky, the flavors paired so well together. I wish this coffee shop was in our town. It’s amazing!
Harmony N — Google review
Walked here this past weekend while visiting town and was amazed at the pastry selection. I ordered a custom latte that was so creamy and delicious, I came back before leaving town. The chocolate banana turnover was the perfect pairing and highly recommended. My friend ordered two breakfast styled pastries that were filled with great toppings and so flaky - I had to steal a bite. The interior has a handful of seating options as well as two tables outside. Pet friendly on the patio, not indoors which is understandable.
Crystal P — Google review
Absolutely delicious coffee with friendly staff! I ordered a speciality latte: blueberry muffin latte. It lived up to its name. Very creamy and light with a great taste of coffee cutting through. Atmosphere was quaint and cozy. Quick wait even though it was busy. First time going and will be back!
Miami M — Google review
What a hidden gem!! This place is adorable and such good coffee and baked goods! Vibes are impeccable and baristas are so friendly and kind. Will definitely be back! Got a PSL (gotta do it once per season..!) and it was so good and not too sweet!
Laura N — Google review
Phenomenal cafe, the apple turnover, ham and pesto, scones, coffee cake, blueberry Danish were the best! We got macadamia lattes that were perfectly sweetened not too much and quality coffee. The ambiance is so cozy. Our barista was amazing she handled our large group so efficiently while skillfully multitasking, getting our order ready and interacting with other customers. We will always visit when in the area. Their pastries are made fresh in house. This is a wonderful place to enjoy peace and delicious treats. Plus I really enjoyed their calming playlist, smooth jazzy classics of popular hits. Music has such an impact on an experience, it really added to the warmth of this place.
Taylor S — Google review
I've been coming to Cedar House for a few years. The coffee and pastries are consistently excellent and high quality. The interior decor is inviting and relaxing. The staff is well-trained and friendly. The prices are in-line with Flagstaff café prices, which might be slightly shocking to out-of-towners. Cedar House is out of my way compared with other coffee houses, but I'll occasionally make the trip because of the amazing homemade pastries. The one thing that keeps me from coming more, however, is the fact that they have no plates, real silverware or coffee mugs. Everything is served in to-go cups, plastic or paper. For the prices we pay in Flagstaff, why not give customers the option of something sustainable and higher quality? When I ate my warm danish in-house today, I make a mess trying to cut it up with a cheap spork on a napkin.

What a little gem of a coffee shop! The Thai tea with almond milk was amazing as was the latte. The staff were super friendly and engaging. Found some beautiful earrings there as well. Looking forward to going back and playing cards by the fire.

Nestled away from the bustling downtown, Lund Canyon Coffee is a charming European-style café run by a dedicated father and his two sons who have brought their love for coffee from Europe to northern Arizona. This cozy spot has become a beloved haven for locals, thanks to its warm atmosphere filled with local art and an inviting vibe.
This is one of the best coffee places I’ve been too. The quality of their coffee is top notch. It isn’t acidic or burnt. Very smooth. I’m very particular about my coffee and this place checked off all the boxes. We got 3 drinks and everyone loved their drinks. Their croissant is also really good. The workers are all sweet and amazing. They also allow pups inside which is everything 🙏🏼🙏🏼

So glad I found this place! Love the vibe with comfortable chairs, eclectic seating options from high tops to dining and living room style tables to bar stools - all surrounded by beautiful art from local artists and jewelers and music. Got the Pacific salted caramel latte and the butter spinach feta roll & both were SO delicious! Try them! Friendly, attentive service. Highly recommend!
Alyse G — Google review
I enjoyed my visit to Lund Canyon Coffee this morning! I ordered a salted caramel cold brew with half and half and a croissant. Both were delicious! The mismatched chairs and various paintings on display made by local artists made for a fun and lively atmosphere.

Never had a fresh cappuccino before and I found this place with a quick google search. I came here with my husband and son and it’s was a very nice experience. Had my first cappuccino and was intrigued by quality and flavor. My husband was pleased with his earl grey matcha latte and my son loved his chocolate chip cookie. The environment was cozy and peaceful. The staff were super helpful with our order and prices are reasonable. We will be back again soon!

My New Favorite Coffee Spot in Flagstaff! I've visited this coffee shop twice now, at different times of day, and each experience has been consistently excellent. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, always ready with a recommendation or a friendly smile. What truly sets this place apart is the coffee selection. They offer a fantastic variety of coffee options, plus exciting seasonal drinks that genuinely make me want to keep coming back for more. Beyond the delicious drinks, the decorations and relaxing seating create a wonderfully inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding and enjoying your coffee. This is definitely a go-to spot for any coffee lover! Definitely will come here whenever I come to Flagstaff.

I’m beyond impressed with this coffee shop. The service is amazing. If I could give more stars I would . The flavor of the coffee is absolutely amazing. Could not be better service. Excellent almond milk cardamom-vanilla latte. Espresso was excellent, no bitterness. Beautiful design with foam. Pastries wonderful too. Nice environment and friendly staff.

This coffee shop has a good menu options, even kid friendly options. We ordered an oat milk latte, hot chocolate, cold brew, cheese danish, chocolate croissant, and pistachio muffin. The pastries were a good size for the price, and all were delicious. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the employee was very nice.

Stopped by this coffee shop to get some work done. The atmosphere is wonderful, tons of seating and outlets available. There is pretty solid wifi (~12 mbps)! There were several reviews about this place having great vegan options, including a vegan breakfast burrito. Just realized those reviews were all from 2+ years ago. My experience today (9/25/2025) was that there were no vegan options. When asked about vegan options, I was told, "Nope, there's probably butter in all of those". So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯... Also, milk alternatives (oat/almond) are +$1. Drinks-wise, my latte and my partner's "golden ratio" drinks were great!

It was a nice afternoon and stopped in to try their horchata latte and Golden Ratio. The baristas weren’t very friendly and seemed kind of standoffish but was fine after we tried our drinks. Also tried their chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. Unfortunately the chocolate chip cookie was hard as a rock but the drinks were tasty. The artwork and decor is also a cool vibe and there’s plenty of seating towards the back of the building.

My husband and I are visiting for our honeymoon, which today is our last day here in town. Unfortunately the train station doesn't open until 5 o'clock and we have luggage, and we didn't want to be carrying our luggage everywhere we went. We stopped in and asked the gentleman at the counter if we could stay with luggage while we wait. He more than happy to oblige, we also ordered some drinks. Love the vibe in here as well as the music!

This is the second time we made our way to this coffee shop. We had a great experience the first time and we really love the atmosphere. It has a very cozy vibe and the inside of the coffee shop has an interesting esthetic. The price of the coffee is fair and the taste of it originally was amazing, but was fair this last time. I had the campfire coffee which was really good, but the rest of the drinks we had were fair.

Was visiting Flagstaff for an event and wanted some coffee, I found this place very easily in the main downtown area. The staff was very friendly and explained the drinks to us, as well as offering substitutions and ideas. The drinks were served quickly and to order, and it was a very relaxed atmosphere inside. The restrooms were clean, a bit small if you need to navigate with a wheelchair. I liked the cozy feel of the space and it was nice to drink, eat and chat while playing chess with friends. The skeleton near the window was very funny and I loved the decorations as well. Definetly a nice place to relax at and sip on nicely made drinks.

If you find yourself in Flagstaff, Arizona, make sure to stop by Campus Coffee Bean, a vibrant coffee shop that doubles as a delightful eatery. This charming spot is perfectly situated near Target and the lively campus scene, making it an ideal retreat for students and locals alike. At Campus Coffee Bean, you'll discover a menu brimming with casual American, Mexican, and Mediterranean bites—perfect for breakfast or lunch.
Believe it or not. This is not on the menu. It's a toasted/grilled pita, sour cream, tomatoes, and parsley. They don't have oregano. This is a vegan breakfast. WOW! And under $4. 😂 Yeah me! I cut the tomatoes to look like this as if a pizza. I would have preferred if the bread was toasted like a pizza, as in crusty. Regardless, yum! Taste Test: PASS. It's divine.

I placed an online order for pickup, and it was ready quickly. The staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy feel. I got the garden breakfast burrito, and it was good. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the breve I got; my first sip tasted like straight warm milk, so I took the lid off to find that it had so much half & half in it that it was basically white. My son didn't like his hot chocolate, so I tasted it, and it was very watery.
Michelle H — Google review
Burrito was tiny, croissant was burnt and they charged us more than what was listed on their menu, coffee was incredibly weak and sweet despite asking for half sweetness, smoothies are powder and ice…. Paid $95 for drinks and breakfast sandwiches for our family of four and it was hardly edible. Never wasting our money here again. Very disappointing. 🤢

Nice coffee shop! Been stopping here for coffee and breakfast on my way back to Phoenix for a couple decades now. Glad to see it didn’t close during the Covid-19 pandemic. The location just off the I-17 northern terminus makes it super convenient. Macy’s on San Francisco St is probably more popular (especially with residents of Flagstaff), but Macy’s can get overwhelmingly busy. There’s rarely a wait here. Today I had an Americano and chorizo burrito. The burrito was a nice, large size! One bathroom was out-of-order today.

It's a great little place to go to next to campus as a student. I love having breakfast here. One thing though that sucked is that they charge you 14$ for a breakfast burrito. It's not like a super big or fat one either. For the same price you can get an omelet meal.

I really want to thank the lady at the counter around noon on September 27th. Despite English not being my native language, she showed a very friendly and kind attitude. I was very happy to encounter her during my trip in the United States, which made my day today. The food is delicious, the ambiance is comfortable. Highly recommend everyone to come 😍

Single Speed Coffee Roasters is a popular spot known for its meticulous roasting process, ensuring consistency and perfect notes without any burnt flavors. The shop, founded by Flagstaff natives with a passion for coffee, offers a bike-inspired setting where patrons can enjoy premium pour-overs and purchase high-quality beans like the recommended Black Mamba. Located near Motel DuBois, the cafe also serves delicious biscuit sandwiches, burritos, and pastries.
The space is very nice. The staff are nice and accommodating. I love their breakfast burritos and their coffee and tea. I recommend the flagstaff fog. It’s a cool spot for coworking. On one occasion there were some pretty loud guests—— but they left and it went back to feeling like a coffee shop vs. a diner. Which I was grateful for.

Home roaster and self-proclaimed coffee snob. This was the best coffee shop I visited on this trip to Flagstaff. Points for atmosphere, coffee, and food! 1 lb breakfast burrito was $12 and delicious! Cappuccino was priced as expected at any craft coffee place and had great espresso shots. Highly recommend checking out! Worth the couple minute diversion from downtown.

the coffee is delicious! they make the perfect drink. i tried the rosé cardamom iced coffee, the rose was very subtle yet the coffee was strong a perfect blend. worth every dollar!!

This an artisan shop for sure. Friendly counter service and they made sure they had our order squared away, the beans are solid for sure. It took awhile for our orders to come out, as they were very busy on a beautiful Saturday morning with folks inside and out. A bright open interior, all abuzz,…very lively for sure. Nice to see a place where everyone seems to be in the same page for a craft cup.

Great breakfast/brunch spot. Very clean and upscale coffee shop. Good cold brew is hard to find and they nailed it! Id go back if I lived in Flag.

Single Speed has truly outdone themselves with their remodel! We’ve been proudly serving their beans to our rental guests for a while now, and they’ve always been a fantastic wholesale partner. Their new shop is exactly what Flagstaff needed — the perfect blend of top-notch coffee and a welcoming, work-friendly atmosphere.

The coffee itself- Delicious. Smooth, bold, and never bitter. I’ve tried a few different drinks, and every single one has been consistently great. The pastries and cake is also fresh and tasty — perfect for pairing with a latte or cold brew

This is the best coffee I’ve had in the USA. I’m from Europe, where we have lots of specialty coffee shops, and I often couldn’t find the right taste while traveling in the USA. Nestled in the heart of downtown Flagstaff, Late For The Train is a cozy coffee shop that specializes in rich dark roasts and an array of specialty drinks. With its inviting outdoor patio, it’s the perfect spot to savor your favorite brew while soaking up the delightful Flagstaff weather. This charming café is adored by locals and visitors alike for its extensive selection of morning coffees and delectable pastries.

The CUTEST coffee shop. I will say that I’ve had better speciality coffee but the atmosphere makes up for it. It has the most beautiful back outdoor patio that I could’ve spent hours in. Also a great downtown location so you can walk around afterwards!

The Toasted Owl Cafe is a charming breakfast and lunch spot located in an old wooden house on 12 Mikes Pike. The cafe offers a diverse menu with options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free dietary needs. The funky decor of the cafe reflects the founder's fascination with owl art, which can be seen throughout the building. Additionally, visitors can enjoy brunch on the sun-drenched porch or grab a post-bike ride lunch.
Its a rather unique establishment. The owl theme is charming and they have it advertised that everything is for sale.Like the mug? Take it home! The wall art? For sale. The food is great, definately a favorite breakfast location. Be careful with the hot drinks, the hot chocolate was like liquid lava on my first sip. Overall its a great place with fair pricing

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Loved the atmosphere and decor. The service was quick and great. We sat outside and it was amazing; the murals and eclectic decor were “fun”. Food was good. The star was the biscuits and gravy dish which came highly recommended by a friend.
Trish W — Google review
We enjoyed our breakfast. We got seated indoors right away (12:30 on a Friday). Turns out though that a group of six young women were seated behind us and their conversation was lively. We asked to move closer to the front door area. It was much better. And no shade to the young women, they were just catching up and having fun. Plus, the acoustics indoors is quite live. Our server Kayce B was super nice. She brought us waters and coffees right away. We'd already looked at reviews and knew we were splitting a Giant Cinnamon Roll and Breakfast Tacos with Roasted Potatoes. We placed our order and the Giant Cinnamon Roll came out right away. It was sweet and tasty but it was not giant (see pic). Eat the cinnamon roll as soon as it's placed as it turns hard after about 10 minutes. The meal came soon after. It was a lot of food and we're happy we split it. We had scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, ham and ham in our taco. They were served hot and with a cup of salsa on the side. The tacos were real tasty. The roasted potatoes were amazing. So happy they were oven roasted and not deep fried. They were perfectly cooked. Nice and creamy inside and seasoned well too. We have no plans to return to Flagstaff (been here a few times) but we recommend you give The Toasted Owl a try.
Jim B — Google review
Honestly, I was super disappointed. I found this place on Google Maps and thought it would be great. The owl décor is cute, I’ll give them that. But we were told we had to wait 20 minutes and that the patio was “only for guests with pets.” Okay… except while we were waiting outside, we noticed only ONE table even had a pet. The other four or five tables didn’t. And THEN we watched other people come in with no pets and get seated outside. So… what was the reason again?? When we finally sat down, the server gave us menus, water, and coffee, and then just vanished. Nobody checked on us. Meanwhile, all the staff were standing at the front chatting like they were on break. The food? Super average. Definitely not worth the price. Plus they add an extra 5% service fee on top. And all the utensils are just sitting together on a metal rack that does not look clean. On top of that, there were flies everywhere—flying around and landing on the food. Not appetizing. So yeah… cute theme, but the actual experience? Not worth coming back. I still left tips that I shouldn’t. 😞
Zoe Y — Google review
Eclectic spot with a funky vibe serving up diner staples. From a vegan perspective, I felt as though I only had a few options on the menu. There’s plenty more options for vegetarians! I opted for the vegetable breakfast burrito with no cheese. It was good, but felt like it was missing something. A lot of restaurants simply take ingredients out of dishes to make them vegan, which leaves a dish feeling underwhelming. Still appreciate having a food option in Flagstaff! All the food came out hot and tasted fresh, which I appreciate. The service was lovely with attentive servers and the place felt clean. If they added more dedicated vegan options to the menu I’d happily go back the next time I’m passing through Flagstaff.
Justin M — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this spot. It is adorable, with fun decor and feels very cozy. My server Charlie was extremely nice and attentive. But the food was just ok. I tried the almond flour pancakes the veggie scramble. Neither were bad but both lacked flavor. The portions were generous and it seemed like a healthy meal. I have to mark them down significantly for deceptive hidden fees however. They charge a 5% service fee that doesn't go to the servers and isn't mentioned on the menu. I understand needing to raise prices for increasing costs, but that should be done in a clear manner such as increasing the cost of the meals on the menu. Hidden fees are simply unacceptable. Be clear about the cost. I would give them 4 stars if they weren't deceptive.
Nathan D — Google review
Update: We had to come back and have the breakfast and it did not disappoint. We got the breakfast tamales, they have a generous amount of meat and the green olive inside is just how mom made them. The pancake is perfection. It is huge and thick and delicious. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. It was very tasty, I wish it had been more on the spicy side but honestly great nonetheless. It was raining so we popped in and got some hot chocolate to go. I can't wait to come back and have a full breakfast because it smelled and looked SO good! It is so cute and eclectic inside and the patio is huge with plenty of tables and umbrellas.

Great place for lunch! My husband got the Reuben sandwich with fries and I got a California burrito (forgot to take a photo). What I was surprised by was trying their ketchup, which had a unique flavor! For the burrito, the size and flavor is worth the price. Loved it with the red salsa! Sitting outside was also quite lovely! Would definitely come back again.

Our first breakfast here in Flagstaff and it was so good we came again. My husband loved his hash with roasted sweet potatoes and red and gold beets stir fried with chorizo and topped with scrambled egg and chimichurri. I loved the pork chile verde on my chilaquiles dish. The pork was so tender and not fatty. We came again and tried the brioche French toast, steak and eggs, another chile verde dish which was all very good. Only wish was the steak and eggs should’ve had more beef. Two of four of us ordered the steak and eggs so maybe they split it. Food does take a little while to come but worth the wait. We were too hungry to take pics the 2nd time we came. The French toast was light and fluffy and loved all the fresh berries on top. It was nice sunny days both times so we sat on the back patio away from the road. All ingredients are very fresh. I would definitely come back again.

Delicious breakfast. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. There is seating available indoor and outdoor. Delicious drinks on the menu, alcoholic and non alcoholic. My favorite is the lavender lemonade. Sweet and earthy. I got the T-Home Benedict. The green chili hollandaise is what made want to try it and im glad I did. The home fries were also sweet and tasty. My husband had the hashbowl. The chorizo added a lovely spice flavor to the sweet delicious beets and yams. Highly recommend.

The service was pretty good, food was good they eggs with green chilli pork were good, the potatoes on it could be better seasoned; the burrito was generous served, was good that the coffee didn't tasted burned as many breakfast places do; wish they have more variety of pastries The outdoor seating is nice, but in the middle of the day finding a shade for a group of 4+ can be challenging Overall we had a good experience

Cannot believe we have never eaten here. I watched them build this back in 2014 and they have since newly remodelled. Highly recommend. My Reuben was nicely spiced with the sauce they put on it. Mike really enjoyed his Mother Road Hoagie. We also split a Matcha Green smoothie and it was delightful. Believe it or not first time I’ve ever purchased one and it will not be our last. Very fresh and tasty breakfast! I loved my soy latte and the avocado toast—both were excellent. Savory croissant waffle was delicious, full of flavor, and not overly decadent. Pistachios were a nice touch for a bit of crunch without taking away from the flavor of the croissant. The maple syrup had a very mild spice that didn't overpower and wasn't too sweet. Came here on a Sunday before noon and the wait was 45 minutes but worth it for such a high quality meal. Tinder coffee was great as well - just a hint of sweetness from the pistachio syrup.

Great small hip restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. The food was really delicious and tasted freshly made. It gets super busy and food can take a while to be out. The only thing I didnt like was having to wait in line all over again to order another drink. Other than that everything was really good. The waiters and waitresses were friendly not too much interaction but it fits the service.

The food was decent, but definitely overpriced for the portion sizes. The presentation is pretty, but the quality and quantity don’t match the price point. We paid about $60 for these 3 simple plates (not including coffee), which felt a bit unfair. I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it, but honestly, it’s a bit overhyped… I will say they have great customer service and very welcoming.

The croque madame was 5 stars. I wanted to order a Thai tea latte without ice (dental problems with ice cubes). The person who took my order told me that they could not make the drink without ice but she would request “little ice”. Fine, I scooped out the ice cubes after it was brought to my table. From the picture you can tell how much ice was in that “latte with little ice”. Also, when the latte was brought to me, I could tell it was a wrong order before tasting it (not a Thai tea). They re-made it for me. Here is what really got me. She added 20% tips on my card without my knowledge. That is a very bad practice. Glad she told me when I was going to put cash in the tip jar, but adding tips without the customer’s knowledge?!

Amazing dining option in Flagstaff. Every dish is worth trying, because they all have some ingredient or twist that really takes it to the next level. I’ve tried a few of their newer menu items, and each was better than the last.

My Fiancé and I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for over a year now and we finally came in. We should have come sooner. This will now be something I will always be craving. We will be making this our new breakfast/lunch place. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.

Cafe
THE STATION Café is a charming neighborhood spot that used to be a gas station and has now become popular with both locals and tourists. It offers a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, freshly baked goods, high-quality coffee, and delicious paninis served on rustic farmhouse bread. The café provides a relaxed atmosphere with ample seating, making it an ideal place to catch up with friends over great food and coffee. Additionally, it boasts plenty of parking space for convenience.
This place is awesome and the people are nice. The cafe is located close to the mountain in Flagstaff and has beautiful views. They also had a fantastic selection of craft beers. There was wine and other options as well. Their coffee was good. I recommend the cinnamon cream latte. It sounds like it would be overwhelming in sweetness but the latte was very well balanced and really enjoyable. The paninis are why we decided to go in the first place. They didn’t disappoint. It was delicious. You did have to pay 1.50 extra for chips but that price is fair. The Lumberjack panini was supposedly a favorite so I tried it. It had corned beef and a nice onion sauce! Delicious, I tell you. It is definitely a must visit place if you enjoy good coffee and paninis.

Consistency excellent service, food, and coffee! I was doing my wilderness first responder training down the road for a long weekend, and The Station really helped to keep me sustained the entire time I was there. I had the honor and pleasure of meeting both the owner and general manager my first morning there, and they were so lovely that I couldn’t help but come back for lunch that day and coffee at least once a day for the duration of my time in Flagstaff. I have friends in town and will definitely be back!

On the way to the Grand Canyon this morning and the usual spot for breakfast was closed. I stopped here thinking it was just some old gas station deli with reheated burritos. I was surprised to find such an amazing cafe. It’s worth taking this way to the Grand Canyon JUST for this stop. They offered a full coffee bar, amazing breakfast options, and some drinks for the way home.

Very casual vibe, with large chalkboard menu. We placed our order with a lovely girl. Our orders came out within 10 minutes. Fresh and so delicious paninis! Excellent fresh coffee too. The entire staff gathered at the counter to suggest different hiking places as we were visitors from NY. Thanks to all of you for being so friendly!

We happened to see this driving down the road. We were headed towards another cafe downtown and decided to come back here due to a difficult time finding parking. It was a very good decision on our part. The area has good parking and the cafe is so cute with plenty of seating inside and outside. We sat outside. We had the Humphreys breakfast and were not disappointed whatsoever. The service was good as well. So happy we went back. They also sell really cute earrings, locally made and definitely unique.

Absolutely incredible cafe with delicious food and great vibes. It's a casual order at counter place with menu on a chalkboard with a mix of specials and case of baked good items. Service is friendly at the counter and staff are knowledgeable about their offerings. As someone with celiac (strictly gluten-free) and vegetarian, there were several options available, the most exciting of which was paninis! They had gluten-free bread for panini and they also use a separate panini oven to cook them and have good cross-contact protocols in place. I felt very comfortable eating here. I ordered the Highway 89 panini (smoked gouda, sharp cheddar, swiss) with a side of creamy tomato soup. The cheeses were melted to perfection, the flavor was delicious, and the GF panini bread was probably some of the best I have ever had. Paired with some creamy tomato soup, and a side of a cool ranch-style side sauce, the meal was absolutely sublime. I don't think I could have been any more satisfied with the meal. The location has a progressive vibe, which is great, and it looks like they host a lot of fun events at their location. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere nearby, but I wish I could transport this place close to me. Highly recommend whether you're passing by and definitely worth the drive if you're within range! Excellent!

What a lovely place! Cute, quaint, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. We were lucky enough to be there while the owner was having coffee with his family. When my toddler spilled a glass of water, he kindly got up and retrieved a bar towel for us and even helped us clean up. That's genuine customer service and kindness. He greeted customers as they came in and spoke to his staff like they were his friends. Coffee was delicious. Breakfast sandwich and pastries were so good, and we were extra thankful for dairy free and gluten free options. Lots of gluten free options, all paninis can be made GF and the waffle is GF/DF. We took some extra goodies for the road. They have a fridge full of kid friendly drinks and snacks. There's also a huge selection of craft beers and wine. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be stopping in again the next time we're in the area.

Let me start by saying that the food was great. The desert was great. The coffee was great. Especially considering it was all gluten free. The service however was terrible. It took 40 minutes to get a sandwich. I went up to the counter to check on my order after 20 minutes and I was told it was on the grill and would be ready soon. At 30 minutes I checked on my order again and was told that they never actually started making it. They said they would refund me and make me a fresh sandwich. We waited another 10 minutes before we were given a sandwich with someone else’s name on it(not sure who Greg is but I’m sorry they gave us your food.) The sandwich tasted great but wasn’t worth the wait or being lied to. Also I was never actually refunded. All of the food tasted great but the fact that the staff seemed willing to lie about anything to get me out of the shop makes sure I can’t recommend the place and I won’t be back. EDIT: Its been a week and a half with no signs of that promised refund coming.

Wicked AZ Coffee - West is a delightful stop for coffee enthusiasts in Flagstaff, Arizona. Nestled along the iconic Route 66, this charming café offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for both quick visits and leisurely hangouts. Whether you're on the go or looking to unwind with friends or a good book, Wicked AZ Coffee has you covered. The service here is genuinely friendly and efficient, making it an inviting spot for first-time visitors.
My partner and I are Australian and earlier this year we travelled extensively throughout the US. We stopped in here mid morning on 11 June 2024. We loved the genuine and efficient service and the coffee was awesome. I loved all the options you can choose from to enhance your coffee. Great value for money too. We opted to come here after being completely ignored by a staff member at Matador Coffee Roasting Company the day prior. We were only popping in there due to staying across the road. Do yourself a favour and go to one of the Wicked AZ shops instead!

Haven’t been to any of these locations in awhile, since they had a location on the east side of town. But lately it’s been good. The coffee usually get is actually better than SB or DB. Just a simple Americano or coffee with some flavoring better prices too I think. Thanks!

Up and at em early before heading to check out some historical stuff nearby and we came across Wicked Coffee. While small this drive thru coffee spot is kicking ass. The location was easy to get to and offers ordering from each side of the building. While they don’t offer cold brew which I prefer they did say they could make an iced americano if id of liked. I opted for an iced vanilla latte instead. Service was great and the coffee flavor was awesome and not masked with too much syrup or overdone with milk. Prices were great.

Val's Workshop is a unique gem in Flagstaff, blending the best of both worlds with its coffee lounge and barber shop. Founded by Alberto Val Valenzuela, a barber with over three decades of experience, this stylish spot opened its doors in 2020. It offers patrons not just hair services but also a cozy atmosphere to enjoy flavorful iced lattes served in insulated cups.
Excellent coffee shop on San Francisco Ave. Not only is the coffee extremely good, but the service and atmosphere is top tier. Staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, super airy and uncrowded location with great style, and the music is 10/10. Price is fair for the quality of coffee + pastries. Easily accessible shop as well. Highly recommend this location.

Great local spot that I’d be in all the time if I lived in Flagstaff. Good, flavorful iced latte, and they made it in my insulated cup, which I appreciate. The barista was friendly and efficient. They have at least three seating sections: the front, work area which was quiet and comfortable in a weekday morning and feels like a good workspace, the salon on the left with pretty reasonable prices for hair services, and a game room on the right. They maximize their space with a small, shady outdoor strip along the right side of the building.

Spent a little time here as I waited for the rain to stop. Had an herbal tea and bought a burrito for the morning. All good stuff. There’s also a barbershop in the back. Funky joint that seems to be a local hangout.

This used to be mine and my boyfriend favorite place to study but unfortunately now we will not be returning. We brought in a wrap for food (having done so before and have never had issues with this) and were seen bringing in the bags by staff initially but they never said anything and we continued to buy coffees and tip as usual. We were then rudely approach by someone who snarkily stated that for future reference we were not allowed to bring food in. We apologized because we did not know (there being no signage and never having had an issue before) and she left abruptly to go talk to another person, continuing to look at us and give dirty looks. We stayed because we were under the impression we were okay to stay this time and not to do it again because she said for future reference and left without asking us to leave or discard the food and without allowing us to ask. Minuets later, we received the coffees we ordered from a different employee and said thank you, getting no kindness in return. A third and final employee then approached us and said the food “smelled” and ask us to eat it outside very rudely again. We took it upon ourselves to pack up and leave entirely and sadly will now not be returning to our favorite coffee shop and study place not due to their outside food rules but due to the unprofessionalism and disrespect demonstrated by the staff.

Flagstaff just keeps on growing and on my walk around town, I came across this new place! Which this was here when I was going to school because it would have made for the most perfect spot. Just stopped in for a cup of coffee and it didn’t disappoint! They also have a barbershop and hair salon inside! Right on top there are air bnbs which I hope to stay in during my next visit. If you’re in the area, you gotta stay by and check it out.

Out of all the places I’ve been to in Flagstaff, this is among my favorites in terms of coffee shops to work in, especially on a nice day when they open the windows up. So much natural light!! So many outlets!! Drinks are decent, but the atmosphere is definitely the selling point for me. The coffee shop is in the front, and the barbershop is in the back. Unique set-up that I personally had never experienced before, but it feels very harmonious. I would 100% come back here.

Great place to grab a coffee and panini on the way to or from Snowbowl... and also worth a very quick drive from downtown for breakfast or lunch. Had an iced almond milk latte (delicious, and they have oat & soy too!) and a crunchy, warm Fort Valley panini, which comes with aioli for dipping. Okay I had a mimosa too. Love that they have a rewards program, which I signed up for promptly. Service is fantastic, and the shop is cute and convenient. They had many local goods and sundries like band-aids (see photos.) Highly recommend this place. It's easy to see why it's so popular. Will definitely be back regularly.

Restaurant
MartAnnes Burrito Palace, a family-owned Mexican restaurant established in 1982, is renowned for its flavorful dishes and vibrant atmosphere. The menu features spicy green-chile pork posole, house-made spicy chorizo and scrambled eggs, and savory banana split French toast. The oversized burritos are particularly popular, with options like bean and cheese or la chimichanga. The restaurant also offers all-day breakfast with highlights such as the famous chilaquiles.
This is hands down the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten and we eat Mexican food a lot at home. The waitress said all the sauces are homemade, it tastes like it. Me and my husband got the same meal, sour cream chicken enchiladas. I got it with the green sauce, he got his with the red sauce. Both were amazing!!! The best food in flagstaff that we’ve had. The waitress was wonderful, very kind and down to earth. Would definitely put this place on your list if you’re in or coming to Flagstaff!

We also loved the beautiful art on the walls, definitely gives MartAnnes a unique kind of charm! We visited twice during our stay, can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend, if we're ever in Arizona we'll definitely come back! Much love from the Newbolds 💙

This place is 10/10. The food was amazing. I got JB's Volacano (an interesting and delicious take on classic chiliquiles) which was amazing. The meat and chili were incredible. My lady got the BLT which was also 10/10. Lastly, we got a happy hour mango margarita and it was sweet - with a punch! Service was fast and the hostess/waitress was very nice. Would definitely recommend, especially for travelers from out of town.

I originally chose this restaurant for brunch because I saw they did breakfast all day, but then I read a review that someone had breakfast tacos here which are my fav and I insisted we go 🌮 Our meals were SO delicious and they give HUGE portions. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly too! I ordered the chilaquiles and instead of meat I got grilled seitan- soooo delicious! My friend got the enchilada y huevo and said it was great. He also got a side of pancakes and they were so big he couldn’t finish them! I got an horchata latte and it was amazing 😋 we both enjoyed our hashbrowns and he said his coffee was just what he needed ☕️ beautiful art all over the restaurant and it’s for sale. The wait wasn’t long (busy on a late Thursday morning is a good sign to me!) and the seating in the waiting area is comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to my out of town guests- bring them here! Gavin our waiter was really cool, you’ll be well attended if you sit in his section 🍽️ We got lucky and parked right by the door but the lot isn’t super big and someone asked us for our parking spot when we came out. In a great location downtown, convenient to so much 🌇

Lunch restaurant
Mike & Ronda's The Place West is a popular spot in Flagstaff, especially among Northern Arizona University students, known for its hearty and affordable breakfast and lunch options. This enduring eatery serves up generous portions of classic American dishes like chicken-fried steak, biscuits and gravy, and customizable omelets. The atmosphere is lively with patriotic decor adding to the American pride vibe. Visitors can expect homemade pancakes and biscuits that are dense but flavorful.
This place was pretty packed and I can see why. They provided excellent service and got us seated within 20 minutes for a party of 7. The food was really good and the biscuits were huge and tasty.
Erlinda S — Google review
Charming Atmosphere, Lukewarm Experience The pictures online definitely caught our attention, especially the giant biscuits that were raved about in nearly every review. My family of four visited around 9:30 AM and were greeted and seated immediately. The place has a cozy, rustic diner feel that we really enjoyed. We ordered the biscuits and gravy platter with shredded hash browns, eggs, and sausage, along with the much recommended waffle. Our server was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and kept our coffee full and piping hot throughout the meal. When the food arrived, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite live up to the hype. Both plates were barely warm, closer to room temperature. The waffle had a great crunch and was sweet, but paired with the room-temp maple syrup from the table, it fell flat. The biscuits and gravy had potential, but they too were served warm at best, and the gravy lacked flavor. We’re really hoping it was just an off day or bad timing, because the service and atmosphere were lovely, but the food just didn’t meet expectations.
Jacquline M — Google review
We’re visiting from England and staying nearby I saw The Place advertised with average reviews. We visited for breakfast over two days as the first day was spectacular. One omelette was delicious without meat we chose an additional vegetarian choice the hash browns delicious the second omelette had at least half pound of pork chorizo and plenty of vegetables and cheese but the biscuits were joined together fresh from the oven, warm just right to the touch but hot inside when broken. The oatmeal and a side of fresh fruit was plentiful and delicious. The staff were marvellous, chatty and attentive regularly returning to refill drinks and check we were okay. I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough. I just wish we could visit more often.

My family came here for breakfast as we frequent the one in Glendale. Surprised to find it empty on a Sunday morning but that's not a complaint. Kids food came out first, without us asking, which was awesome. -Fresh iced tea -Surprisingly good pickles -Standard Kraft Mac and cheese -gravy was very thin, but had a good peppery flavor, ended up dipping my sandwich in it -hot ham and cheese, add tomato was fresh and buttery -Green Chile pork stew was phenomenal! Spicy but not overboard. Would order a bowl of just this many times over -Polish sausage skillet, not on the menu for this location but was made without complication and was even better than expected since my husband kinda piecemealed it together Pricing was fair, cheaper than the location in Glendale for pretty much the same meal Definitely a place we will continue to frequent.

For our last morning in Flagstaff (October 1st), my wife & I chose Mike & Ronda’s The Place West because it was located along Historic Route 66 and it was on our way as we headed out of town destined for our final destination in Arizona - Tucson. For me, as a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, I know we are in a good restaurant when other veterans gather to eat & chat. We were seated near a table of a half-dozen veterans, who we later learned meet there every morning, although not all of them show up every morning. Veterans, typically, keep coming back if the food is good and the prices are reasonable; my wife & I can attest that both were true at Mike & Ronda’s The Place West! Back to the food, my wife & I both had the French toast and coffee, and both were plentiful. Over the course of our meal, I became particularly fond of my wife’s red Mike & Ronda’s coffee mug, but when I looked to buy one, they only had the blue ones for sale. Apparently, the red coffee mug, like Santa Claus, only shows up at Christmastime. Undeterred, I asked our ‘alternate’ server (the woman waiting on the veterans’ table), if we could buy the red mug my wife was drinking out of? After some back-and-forth negotiations, the sale was approved (slightly discounted because it was a ‘demo’ mug), and our primary server (I regret that I did not get his name nor the woman server’s name; both were great!), once my wife had all the coffee she could consume, delivered her red mug (washed) in a gift bag for us to proudly take back to South Carolina with us. As a side note, when writing this review, I saw on their Facebook that veterans were treated to a free meal on Veterans Day at Mike & Ronda’s The Place West . . . Serving those who had served! Had it not been a 2,000-mile drive from South Carolina, I would have considered it!

Fresh, chewy bagels and so much variety. I always stop here when I’m passing through Flagstaff and it never misses!

Vegan bagels & vegan cream cheese spreads! Yes, plural, as in choices. All the bagels are vegan (unless clearly topped with cheese!) and there was plain and garden vegan cream cheese, as well as peanut butter. I got a the veggie sammie with plain vegan cream cheese on a salt bagel (sans tomato).. my mouth is watering just thinking about the soft but chewy bagel and fresh avocado… 🤤 I also got an iced coffee that was very tasty. The service was so kind and the business is LGBTQ+ safe. I passed this place up prior due to the amount of backpacks & laptops and that was a mistake. The interior is a small, cafe style and they tend towards take-out, wrapping your bagel up in a cozy paper. It’s so great to find a place where vegan food is actually GOOD. I will absolutely be back! Thank you for being inclusive in all the ways 🌈🌱🥯

I love everything about this bagel shop from the dog loving vibes too the incredible bagels. I mean incredible. There are local varieties and seasonal favorites as well. The drip coffee was really good as well. The staff was super friendly and you could tell this was a favorite spot for many locals, which I really love and appreciate. The inside was filled with paintings of dogs doing things like driving jeeps and they were wonderfully vibrant paintings. All in all this was a great place to graba bite.

Other bagel shops come and go, but "Biff" is still top dog. A Flagstaff classic in the heart of downtown. Unique and cozy atmosphere with a large selection of delicious, fresh-daily bagels and other baked confections. I recommend the mish-mash (everything) bagel toasted with southwest cream cheese. The bagel sandwiches also seem very popular. Tip: Arrive early in the morning or place a special order ahead of time to ensure that your desired bagel flavor is available! They sometimes sell out quickly.

Bagels are yummy and there are plenty of choices. It’s a great spot for a quick, delicious breakfast. My only complaint is the coffee. I understand that drip coffee might not be the freshest at 1 PM, but even the freshly brewed Americano was very watery and lacked flavor. That said, the bagels and food options make it absolutely worth the visit, and I’ll definitely be back for the bagels!

Rendezvous, located in the lobby of Hotel Monte Vista, is a versatile spot that transforms from a coffee lounge during the day to an elegant bar at night. It offers top-notch Intelligentsia coffee and an impressive selection of cocktails, including absinthe and local beers on tap. The bar's unique energy and prime downtown location make it a popular choice for meeting friends for drinks and small bites after midnight.
The Rendezvous bar has it's own unique energy and vibe, triumphant over most of Flagstaff's varied competition. Being on the corner of the main intersection in downtown doesn't hurt, neither does the fact that it's in the Hotel Monte Vista, a historic monument in its own right. The crowd here on a busy Friday night was a sampling of what makes Flag so great - smart, friendly, happy patrons who make friends easily and will leave you wanting to return just to make more new friends. The Rendezvous bar crew's cocktail art is impeccable and their selection is also profound. Reminds me a bit of my favorite bar in Soho Manhattan....groovy in all ways.

This bar has a neat vibe and welcoming atmosphere. I stopped in for a few drinks with friends and really enjoyed my time. The impressive part was the bartenders, I had Julie, when she asked what I was feeling I legitimately was not sure. So she asked for my flavor, I said I like whiskey, she followed up with do you want sweet, savory, refreshing, etc etc. I have never had a whiskey that was refreshing so taking it as a challenge I asked her for that, i didn't know what the drink was called but it was phenomenal. She is obviously very skilled in her craft and I'll continue to come here if she is tending.

We only came in for drinks, but what a cool place! We landed on the Foster’s Isle dessert drink (we had dinner and were looking for a good post-dinner drink). No fewer than 8 people asked what we ordered! It was fantastic! A great mix of drink and dessert. The young lady bartender did an excellent job.

The Rendezvous is always an experience, coupled with the factor it's an extension of the legendary hotel Monte Vista!!! The recommended drink is the world famous (Espresso Martini), which is truly a delight for any season. This staff is always world-class. The perfect example of professionalism and to setting the standard of a highly elevated team.

Very cool place for cocktails. It’s in the Hotel Monte Vista built in 1926. Lots of history in this building. The bartenders know their trade and make anything you like. Definitely worth stopping by.

Stopped to have a nice drink. Tried 3 different ones, and they were all delicious. Sat in the back conversation area, which was very relaxing with a nice vibe. Bar area was hopping even at 4 pm on a Saturday. Would go again or encourage friends to stop by for the experience.

Our bartender Chris, beyond amazing. Some crazy guy tried to wander in before he could ask me anything. Chris came up and escorted him out, his vibe, his personality. This is beyond customer service. This guy was outstanding. Cannot thank this bar enough, good people are hard to come by. This guy is a gem. Great cocktails on top of it all. Would recommend this place over and over again.

Bakery
Mozelle's Downtown Bakery is a fantastic gluten free bakery. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the shop is in an adorable location. My favorite items were the gluten free chocolate cupcake and the gluten free chocolate haystack. I highly recommend this bakery if you have celiacs or are gluten intolerant!
Mozelle's made a great cake for our wedding. Worked with the design I wanted and color. The tasting was easy and tasted great. We decided on a fake top tier and it turned out great. They delivered to our venue without any problems. Our guests enjoyed the cake flavor combination. Thank you!!
Marina S — Google review
The cake was beautiful and perfect for pictures! Just wasn't what I ordered. I ordered an all black cake, velvet with cream cheese in the middle and sparkles all over. The baker got my age wrong. It said 30 and it was supposed to be 33. Luckily the front girl was able to fix it. The cake was supposed to be whip frosting and instead it was butter cream. The cake was dry and was not good. I paid over $60 for this cake and we live in Chandler, AZ. It was disappointing but again the cake was very beautiful. Another thing that was disappointing was that I mention to the front girl on Sunday that it was unfortunate and we were heading back home Monday morning and she said we could stop by and talk to thw owner and she would leave a note for the owner to see if she could refund me. The website shows bakery is closed on Monday's.. maybe she made a mistake. Below is a picture of the cake. I added a picture of the inside. Not sure if red velvet is supposed to look like that.. but the cake was very dry and didn't have flavor.
Jasmine A — Google review
Mozelle's Downtown Bakery offers a quiet escape in downtown Flagstaff. I enjoyed the hefty gelato portions, especially the triple chocolate chip with strawberry cheesecake. While the gelato never disappoints, the aging display cases could use a refresh to enhance the overall appeal of their desserts. The customer service was good and helpful with selections. With plenty of seating and a generally calm atmosphere around 5 PM, it's a decent spot, though I might explore other bakeries on my next Flagstaff visit.

Highly recommend! Did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Delivery to event. Red velvet and cream cheese...delish!!!

My husband and I were walking in the old section of Flagstaff, AZ this morning and came upon Mozelle's Downtown Bakery. I got the blackberry scone and my husband got the blackberry croissant. Both were absolutely delicious! Nothing like it to compare the sweetness and flavorfulness of every bite. Hope to be back.
Tracey M — Google review
This is a great bakery, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find that they had ham croissants. But I really came for the chocolate croissant. Really? Nice CD out in front of the store in the big square in downtown flex stuff. It was a very lovely array of pastries and sweets. They had a nice array of other than pastries.
Shannon K — Google review
In 2 days we visited Mozelle's four times the cookies are top-notch! Even stopped on the way out of town and got a dozen for the ride home and it's only an hour 😁 their other desserts are amazing too! The lemon bars are delicious. Definitely recommend at least stopping through, delicious absolutely delicious!
Christine C — Google review
Awesome bakery downtown. Snuck in close to closing and picked up a sticky bun and some amazing bread pudding. They had a number of cookies, pies, bars, macaroons and gelato and ice cream available. Great little patio and indoor seating options - or get to go and sit in the square downtown. There was an outdoor concert going on that I stopped at briefly.

Located in downtown Flagstaff, Brandy's Cafe, formerly known as La Bellavia, has been serving up traditional breakfasts and lunches since 1976. The cozy eatery offers a variety of hearty dishes such as made-from-scratch pancakes, classic egg dishes with a twist, and freshly baked pastries. With its welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, it's a popular spot for both visitors and locals to enjoy brunch.
My 2 co-worker friends and I came here on Saturday morning. It was packed, but still felt reasonably quiet enough for some great conversation. The food was excellent! The prices seemed fair compared to quality & portion size. Our server’s name was Bak (not sure how to spell it). He was exceptionally polite & attentive. I even asked for my hash brown scramble to be extra crispy, almost burnt. It came out exactly how I hoped! I’ll definitely be back and happy to recommend it next time a traveler asks for a good brunch spot.

What a great find for breakfast! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and the location is perfect for people-watching on their dog-friendly patio. We highly recommend the ham omelette with a pancake and the avocado & mushroom omelette with a side of fruit. Both were excellent, and the pancakes and omelettes were perfectly fluffy. I also got a London Fog and it was one of the best I've had. 10/10. This place is a must-try.

Visited on 5.26.2025, Memorial Day and was served by Nina. She was absolutely Spectacular!! The Baja Mocha was liquid gold and the Bacon Omelet was heavenly. I'll definitely revisit this place when I return to Flagstaff. Highly Recommend!!

Well the place is small, the service is great, the food depending on what you get can be good or great. Its a bit spendy. I got a triple club with turkey avocado, Canadian bacon on rye. This was an awesome sandwich (I could only eat half if it took the leftover hone), my husband had their biscuit and gravy with sausage it was good but not much sausage and the gravy was a bit runny (not as impressed), my son's girlfriend had avocado, eggs Benedict it looked yummy it came with a side of pancake (she loved it), we also ordered the Mexican cocoa my son was not to impressed but his girlfriend loved it. All in all it was a quaint place, a bit spendy and small. Busy restaurant. Food was good. Parking is not that great.
Carrie K — Google review
This is a great place for breakfast. The food and service were great. We had the best biscuits and gravy we have ever had. Clearly home made. The omelet was well done. The hash browns were not home made and that would have made this a 5 star review. Our server was Chase and she was on point and knew her job well. Great place for a breakfast.

This is a great little cafe in Flagstaff. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a nice menu for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Brandy’s chicken salad sandwich. It was really good, but more chunky style. I also ordered the mocha specialty coffee and it was great. The other food and drink our table ordered was good too and we left satisfied. The place is nice and clean and the staff was nice. Overall a good place.

This charming local coffee shop is small and set up for drive-thru and walk-up service only, there’s no seating available. It has a similar vibe to The Human Bean. Hotel Monte Vista, located in downtown Flagstaff, is a historic and allegedly haunted hotel that first opened its doors in 1927. It has been fully restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel has hosted famous guests such as John Wayne, Harry Truman, Bing Crosby, Spencer Tracy, and Jane Russell. It's also known for being a filming location for scenes from Casablanca.
We absolutely loved our visit to the Hotel Monte Vista Bar! This charming, historic hotel is full of character and vintage flair—exactly the kind of place we adore. The bar was warm and welcoming with great service and a fun atmosphere. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, and surrounded by all the local energy. We only stopped in for drinks but wish we could have stayed there—it’s such a unique and memorable spot. If you love historical places with soul and style, this one is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!
Anna G — Google review
I visited the Monte Vista recently and had a great time! The hotel rooms are clean and nicely done. The rooms are small and a little tight but the building is very well done and clean. The coffee in the morning is legit good! I will note that the wifi is not great, at least on the fourth floor. I had to do all my work in the lobby. Not a deal breaker for me. The 2 bars are fun and great service. My only slightly negative comment would be that not all of the front desk workers where super friendly. Overall, had a super fun time and would definitely return.
Jen J — Google review
Hotel Monte Vista has a lot of charm, but the rooms left much to be desired. Ours felt musty and smelled weird. When we hung up decorations above the vanity, a bunch of dust came down, which made us question how well the room had been cleaned. The AC was also unreliable, it broke the first night and hadn’t worked well before that. The beds were fine, but the old quilted covering added to the musty feeling. Service was the highlight of our stay. The woman at the front desk was kind, present, and genuinely helpful throughout the weekend. The towels and bathroom were clean, and we appreciated that each room had a private bathroom. That alone gave it a big advantage over nearby spots like the Weatherford, which has communal ones. The location is excellent, right in downtown Flagstaff. I loved the entrance area and the smell of coffee when you walk in. The basement bar wasn’t really for me, though. It was hard to hear my friends. The first level bar had a cool vibe. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars: 2 for the room, 4 for service, and 5 for location. Worth staying if you care more about charm and location than comfort.
Elly G — Google review
If I could give it zero stars I would. Beautiful old hotel located in downtown Flagstaff proximal to restaurants and shops. That’s where the good review ends. Hotel was dirty, smelled like smoke and must, key cards didn’t work, and bathroom sink ran at a trickle. What was even more disappointing was that the staff was unresponsive. I attempted to speak to a manager in person and via phone. I made several phone calls after my stay, left messages and sent emails. No response at all. I would NOT recommend this hotel. For the price of the rooms it is not worth it.
Karen W — Google review
First impression, great location. Staff was not welcoming, attentive or informative. Rooms were small & very dirty. No restrooms, sink or shower in the rooms. You have to publicly share with the whole floor. Having to do that I would expect cleanliness. The shared restrooms were filthy. Bedding was also dirty. The reviews were extremely inaccurate I was not told about the restrooms prior that's an important fact. Nothing is handicapped accessible. The nightlife downstairs is extremely loud, definitely not family friendly. Its great if you dont mind small dirty rooms or having a restroom. The location is great walking distance to everything but I would not recommend.
KVEEZY 6 — Google review
This is the worst hotel ever. NEVER stay here. The manager lies so easily about the evenings and if you have a family you will get no sleep. All they care about is how many people they can pack into the loud music venue. Be damned if they lie about how you and your family will be able to sleep. The dishonesty of this place is unreal. And good God if you bring the fact up, you will be treated like garbage as if you "asked for this". You all should be damned ashamed of yourselves. Have the decency to represent what you are. I will endeavor with all I know to ensure everyone I know never patron this so called establishment.
Justin M — Google review
Rooms are stinky. LOUD party scene all night. There are two bars on the 1st floor under rooms. We were on the 4th floor and felt like we were in the bars, the music is so loud. The front desk attendants were very rude and acted like I was a pest just from checking in. I had read online that the hotel has a haunting history. She I attempted to ask the front desk lady she was extremely rude to me. Not helpful. Not friendly. The atmosphere at the hotel is very cool, but not worth the noise or rude front desk attendant. Also be prepared to pay for parking.
Cherrina M — Google review
Rooms are outdated and dingy. I could’t find a light switch for the mirror in my room. Poured myself a cup of coffee on the way out. The coffee tasted bad so I thought I’d try the creamer. The creamer was so syrupy that it came out in drips. When I asked the front desk person, who was sitting 6 ft away, if that was typical, she suggested it was maybe empty. I said it was felt full because of its weight. She told me it was always heavy and then left to find a different creamer. I unscrewed the lid to look at the contents. When she arrived back I told her it was half full, her words to me were, “I hate people”. Then began answering text messages. Cool. Hotel hires people who hate other people. Great fit for a front desk person. You don’t need this hotel.

Lovely little coffee shop. Stopped in for the first time in the 4 years I’ve lived in Flag today and I really enjoyed it. The vibes are chill, the staff are very kind, and for a cheap drip coffee in a world of expensive ones, I enjoyed it. Usually a pour over guy but I was out and about killing some time. The espresso is on point. Swedish pancake was delicious outside of being slightly undercooked, its worth noting that I did order blueberries to be added in though. The Cajun scramble is satisfying on all fronts, it was ordered with a side of hashbrowns that really completed the plate. Bonus for choice in music. Staff is friendly and understanding, no complaints in terms of service.

We read about this place in a local magazine at our rental place. My hubby ordered the Reuben sandwich and OhMmGG! Surprisingly tasty! The meat is flavorful with sauerkraut and sweet thousand island dressing. The only downside my hubby mentioned: he would really prefer it on the traditional rye bread instead of marble rye. The garlic fries smelled fantastic! 🤤 they’re yummy with ranch or ketchup. I ordered the veggie quiche which was good but the crust was hard, crunchy and had some black burnt edges which were inedible. The bakery section had a few items I might try but nothing irresistible for me. The prices were a bit high for the location, we paid $37. It looks old inside and seems in dire need of a remodel. Overall okay but I don’t think we’ll return.

Horrible experience. Bad service and incredibly pricey. They didn’t give me all of what should have been in my meal and still charged me $20 for a terrible vegan omelette with literally one slice of toast. The alleged vegan pancake made my little one’s belly hurt and the manager could have cared less when I expressed my disappointment and how overpriced they were. One and done!!! Save your $$!!!

So GOOD!!!!! We loved everything we tried!! 10 out of 10 recommend. The service was perfect. We were seated right away. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or our food. We ordered coffee and mimosas. The mimosas were the right mix of juices and sparkling. The food came and the flavors were perfect. The pancake had that slight crunch outside with the soft goodness inside. Of all the sides I would recommend everyone get the country potatoes. They was the BEST, so flavorful. The avo eggs benedict was everything you expect. The egg burrito was so filling and definitely enough that if you wanted to share, you would both be full. I will for sure be back if I'm ever in AZ again.

Have visited this place several times over the years, kind of an old standby. Had breakfast & lunch together. I had an omelet with hollandaise sauce & hash browns...both very good. She had a veggie sandwich which was certainly impressive in appearance and she rated it as being very good. Service was almost acceptable. Server was pleasant & helpful but he didn't come round often and we waited a long time for the check. Place could use a good cleaning. We like the place and can recommend.

Okay I usually don’t eat breakfast or don’t rave about breakfast restaurants but this place came recommended by a local and I see why! Atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Food came out quick. I got an omelet and it was delicious. My only complain is the portion as it was probably one of the smallest breakfasts I’ve ever had dining out. Our server was efficient and friendly! Thank you for a great experience.

Located on historic Route 66, The Crown Railroad Café has been a beloved local spot since the 1960s. It is renowned for its iconic neon sign and houses the largest electric train display in Northern Arizona. The restaurant offers classic American cuisine prepared from scratch by talented chefs. With a charming railroad theme, the interior features a model train running around the space, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. Families are welcome to enjoy a meal while being surrounded by this unique decor.
There's very few restaurants open in the town of Flagstaff, near where we were staying, past 8pm. We picked The Crown Railroad Cafe because it was open till 9. We were skeptical at first, being a Saturday night and walking into the almost empty restaurant, but the good reviews gave us hope. Turns out the reviews are spot on! The lunch counter gives it a nostalgic, old time diner feel, with a vintage electric train running around the top perimeter of the restaurant. I ordered the southern bbq sandwich which was delicious! Awesome fries, too. One of my friends had the cheese burger, the other ordered the french dip. Everyone was beyond happy with their choices. The waitress was happy to see us, even though we arrived near closing time. Trust the reviews! The place doesn't look like much upon first glance, but its a winner!

Love historic places! The Crown is attached to a motel and you could drive right by it. But what a wonderful find. Mike wanted eggs Benny and this is the place to come in Flagstaff. Charming dining-room with a model train that goes all the way around. Mike loved his eggs Benedict. And. “Those” potatoes were delicious. Teah was super friendly, and gave great service.

Cool place to eat before adventuring out for the day. We stayed in Flagstaff and ate here before heading to the GC. Great atmosphere and staff. The kids loved watching the real trains go by every few minutes and the train set running around the restaurant ceiling.

This was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was awesome. All of the food was very good. If you're some picky mainstreamer this is probably not for you. But if you're looking for classic Americana this is the place for you. I would eat here every morning if I lived here.

Came here as my partner wanted a trip down memory lane- he'd been here years ago. It's very dated, but looks like they're doing their best to keep it clean. Waiter was super friendly and helpful. Simple menu, meals were great. Convenient location and easy parking = great place to stop for a bite to eat 😊

Had a good experience here. We had came in about noon really wanting some good breakfast and we got it! Starting off was a little strange we had walked in and the whole restaurant including the staff stared at us which was a little off putting. But when we were finally seated we got our waiter Dustin and he was the BEST! He explained everything well, knew the whole menu and make us laugh pretty hard! The food was good I had gotten an omelet and it needed some salt and pepper but was really good. We all enjoyed our food the portions were Huge so that was good considering the price.
Brieanna B — Google review
Food was decently sized. Chorizo omelette was nice but steak omelette was under salted. The train going around the restaurant was cute. Main fault was the communication. One waitress said there was a 30+ minute wait when the diner was half busy, another said we could get seated right away. At checkout there is a 6.5% service charge on all checks to account for rising food costs- dunno why they wouldn’t reprint the menus instead to reflect that when in the service charge explanation they mentioned that staff get paid minimum wage. Also, the bathrooms were somewhat dirty and in the women’s one was out of order. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
Josie — Google review
This is a must stop, service is above 5 starts and the food is outstanding. We only come in town a few times a year, and I am always happy to support the local community and small businesses. If there is a wait, just know it's worth the wait.

Mary's Cafe is a longtime-running restaurant that takes great pride in the quality of their food. The dishes they serve are always fresh and delicious, and the diner itself is a beautiful example of how tradition should be upheld. The menu features a variety of different options, all of which are well worth trying. If you're in the area, I absolutely recommend giving Mary's Cafe a go!
I ordered the nachos with sweet heat pork, and they were so good. The chips were home made and the highlight of the evening. My partner ordered a burger, and he said it was good. The giant cinnamon roll was huge!!! A little dry though.

This was my first visit to Mary's Cafe. All I can say is that the portions are HUGE! The hamburger/pulled pork sandwich was amazing. The fries were cooked to perfection. The employees were very sweet. I'd definitely visit again.

Saw a few recommendations from other travellers so we thought it was worth a visit.. good old fashioned service and great food.. didn't have to wait long either.. shout out to chas for looking after us so we'll and for helping tailor the food for my wife.. it just proves that you don't need fancy gimmicks or branding to make a great impression.. keep it simple, honest and friendly = It works.. recommended..

Well I’ve ate here before and the food was pretty good. This time I didn’t get any food, my wife and I were greeted at the door and told “sit where your comfy” we chose a booth with some dirty tables surrounding us. After 20 minutes the tables remained dirty and we had yet to receive a menu. Went to the bathroom, where I decided there toilet cleaner must be broke and the floor is an odd place to store toilet paper. On my way to our table I saw the waitresses busy on their phones, we then decided to leave. On our way out the door the waitress was nice enough to tell us to have a good day. If you would like a place to sit and use a questionably sanitary restroom, you’ve found your place.
Derek B — Google review
This place is a real gem. For any trucker passing by stop in for a taste. No rush service. Service with a cool smile. Good grill and home cooked selection. I recommend the brisket or the pork grilled cheese with fries. All baked goods are baked in-house so you know it’s delicious. I hope longevity and prosperity for this little spot.
Randolf R — Google review
Stopped in here while passing through for a bite to eat. We walked in and were told we could sit anywhere, which was nice. We chose a table by the window. Our waitress came to our table, and we asked how her day was, and I'm guessing she didn't hear by the lack of a response. I was craving a milkshake, but she said they were out of ice cream. The drinks were nice and cold. Our order was correct and our food came quickly. My party said their burgers were good, and fries were plentiful. The chicken tenders were pretty good as well. My only complaint would have to be the condiments. The ketchup tasted bad, as if it were old. The brown gravy tasted very bland as if it came straight out of a jar or can. The ranch was very runny as if it had been watered down or is just a cheap brand. I really loved the decor and the music was at a good level. Our meal was pretty average, and the staff were quite impersonable.
Michele — Google review
I visited Mary’s Café for the first time while driving through Flagstaff. The waitress was very kind, but unfortunately the service and food quality were disappointing. On a busy Saturday morning, there was only one waitress working, and it took about an hour to receive our food. The chicken fried steak was very dry, chewy, and lacked flavor. The cinnamon French toast was bland, and the pancakes arrived cold as if they had been sitting out for some time. The omelet included canned mushrooms and onions we didn’t request. The only dish we enjoyed was the ham and eggs. Overall, the experience was not great due to both the slow service and poor food quality.
C S — Google review
This is hard. Took a very long time to get waited on when hardly any customers and 3 waitresses. The first girl not friendly at all. 2nd waitress very nice. Then back to the first one. They were very negligent to our needs. Our friends thought the Navajo taco was underwhelming. We went work the chicken fried steak because of the hype. It was ok. The gravy was very good. The salad was good but the blue cheese dressing was awful. It was coagulated. They never asked how anything was so we couldn't do anything about it. Seriously, all 3 waitresses just disappeared. We all agreed we would go again and wouldn't recommend it.

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and WiFi access. Despite being slightly out of the way, it's a preferred spot for many locals who frequent it daily before work. The staff is highly praised for their exceptional service and professionalism. Typical Starbucks for flavor, one of the larger stand-alone ones that I've been in. Very functional, a bit sterile IMO. I had the Hot chocolate, as I don't much like most of their coffees. It is a good place for an informal meeting.

This was a pit stop before we caught a plane back to Ohio. The server, and I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, asked if we we're coming or going. We said going back to Ohio and we we're sad. When we got our coffee, she had a message for us and I thought that was the greatest customer service!! Thank you for that because we still talk about today.

I've been to the store a few times and the baristas are really sweet and welcoming, which is why I was SHOCKED at how unpleasant and rude the store manager was. Not only to me but to her own employees??? You'd think the person in charge would set the tone but honestly the team shows more professionalism and kindness... hopefully she was just having a bad day, otherwise they need better representation.

Great location with a clean lounge and a drive through. Easy parking, perfect stop while cruising down route 66. It was quiet when I got here at 6:30 on a Friday morning. Staff were busy cleaning and stocking. Everyone was smiling snd having a nice morning 🤠

Just visiting Did not listen to the customer clearly when ordering drinks. Rushed and waited for a long time. When the drinks came out, they were wrong. I ordered cold and got hot. And I asked what the name was. The delivery person said there was no name. The person taking the order said mine. I have waited for a long time. You want me to wait to make it again. I said the hot drinks were not delicious. Instead of fixing it, I ordered a new menu and I was not impressed with the service. He even walked past the counter outside and smiled like he was mocking. Is this the expression of service? I traveled from Phoenix to get good drinks and a good atmosphere here.

I really have enjoyed going to this location over the last 3 years. The experience has improved drastically in the last year and a half. The management is fantastic. The baristas are kind. I took my kiddo to get a drink before school and everyone greeted me by name when I walked in—-my kiddo looked at me as if I was a celebrity! The crew here is so kind. The drinks are good. Sometimes there’s a long wait so I try to order ahead. I liked the space better before the renovation but it’s still comfortable to sit and do work there—-

HUGE store- even has a coffee shop! Great selection of used (and new) books 📚 very friendly staff and lots of unique items to choose from. I even bought a cute luggage tag when I remembered I needed one 🐼

Had some books I wanted but were not all there. Also, they have a "banned section" with some.....sensitive topics in this current generation. I would recommend them to NOT display that and make it feel limited by having a sign saying, "Get it before it's gone for good", because that's just making use of the wrong reason.

Cool store, good use of little space. Note: there's a section for Paranormal Romance where anything complex/cool gets put - the Locked Tomb stuff was there instead of sci Fi/fantasy. Kinda frustrating but maybe just put cross-notification so people like me can find the stuff we like?

There's always something interesting going on at bookmans. It doesn't seem to matter if you're in the market for some old-school D&D books, Pathfinder first edition or current, some interesting rocks, trading cards, or just a good book in general. The people who are friendly and it's not hard to hunt someone down at the central desk. I absolutely love their band censorship slogan. There's no such thing as evil knowledge. Knowledge is knowledge. People should have the freedom to learn what they want. And then do with it what they learned within reason. But there should never be a ban on knowledge. Even if the knowledge you obtaining is just a really good story.

I was in town for my daughter’s soccer tournament and had no idea this place even existed—we just stumbled across it. It felt like something straight out of a fairytale! I loved every inch of it. Even though I was accompanied by a group of silly young girls who were acting a bit obnoxious, the staff was beyond attentive. Honestly, anywhere else might’ve asked us to leave, but here, they were incredibly patient and kind. Now let’s talk about the best part: the food. I had the egg tacos with bacon, and I promise you—I didn’t even take a breath. I just chowed down! I also ordered a huge bowl, a shake, and pretty much one of everything on the menu. It was a little pricey, but food like this? You can’t really put a price on it. It’s worth every single bite. The food? One of a kind. The staff? Friendly as can be. The atmosphere? Simply heavenly. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone—and PLEASE, bring a location to Phoenix!

I stopped into Juice Pub & Eatery for breakfast and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip. I ordered a waffle topped with blueberries, banana, and peanut butter, and it was hands down one of the most delicious waffles I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked. light and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of crispness on the outside—and the toppings were fresh and generous. It felt both indulgent and wholesome at the same time. What really stood out beyond the food was the atmosphere and the people. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuine, making me feel welcome the moment I walked in. The location itself is quiet, cozy, and relaxed, which made it an ideal spot to enjoy breakfast without any rush or noise. Everything about this place left a positive impression on me, from the food to the service to the environment. If I’m ever in town again, I won’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!

As a flag local, this is 100% one of the places I recommend! It’s so hard to pick just one thing to highlight - the coffee and smoothies are great. Food delicious. The BOWLS? Perfection. My favorite thing though is that they’re dog friendly. Picnic tables outside with shade for you and your dogs. Employees ALWAYS ask if they can bring water bowl out for the pups. Love love love, can’t say enough good things about this place and hope it never goes away!

Loved this place so much we ate there 3 times on our trip through Flagstaff and Sedona!! The dirty pumpkin chai was so so so good. The breakfast tacos were also amazing.

Today was my first time stopping in and I ordered the breakfast bagel (with provolone added) along with the sunflower smoothie. Both were fresh and tasty. I do wish they'd put more sprouts on the sandwich, as they were quite sparse as shown in the pic. The bechamel sauce was yummy, but they skimped on that too. Cream cheese on both sides of bagel would be nice. All-in-all a satisfying meal, but hopefully they make some adjustments to the toppings and put a decent amount. Still, this is one of the best options for healthy eating in Flagstaff, and the only juice bar I'm aware of aside from Nekter, and the one at Whole Foods (where you can't get items like acai bowls).

I stopped in for lunch on a day I planned to spend wandering around Flagstaff. Boys they have a parking lot. The employee at the front counter taking orders was very friendly. I ordered a smoothie and the BLT. The smoothie was good and better than the BLT which also came with chips and a pickle. Really cute inside with several tables and chairs and also more of a lounge area with sofa and chairs. Patio seating is available as well but more limited. Overall, a good experience.

I was excited to try this place but was disappointed. A 20oz "pour over" was $6, but instead of the standard pour over technique where the water is slowly poured over the grounds, they poured all the water in at once and let it drip. The coffee itself was alright; better than Starbucks by a little bit but nothing like what I was expecting given what I read online about their high precision methods. The coffee roastery itself seems much more like a shipping and receiving office than a coffee shop and didn't even smell like coffee which was surprising.

It's ok. I have tried it a few times but have always came away disappointed. I like coffee and this coffee was average, I have tried a few different blends and they were all average at best. Very small place, not really a coffee shop more like an office that sells coffee. I wanted a grind for my chemex (my grinder was broken) and they had never heard of a chemex, what coffee place had never heard of a chemex. A step above Starbucks, but not a very big step. If you like good quality coffee go somewhere else.
