Flea & Street Markets
Marché provençal is a traditional covered street market offering a wide variety of goods, from fruits and bread to flowers. It's a bustling place where locals and tourists mix, making it perfect for photography. The market stalls are filled with olives, French cheeses, fresh fish, and colorful produce. For a casual experience, visitors can enjoy socca from the wood-fire oven stall or indulge in oysters and rosé wine at the local bar.
It’s perfect. come early for less crowds and more time to chat with the owners of each spot. Get vacuum sealed meats for souvenirs and spices! Tomato’s are out of this world.

Haute French restaurant

Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit is a traditional yet innovative restaurant located in the charming town of Antibes on the Cote d'Azur. Housed in a rustic Provencal-style country house, this one-Michelin-starred restaurant offers a gourmet dining experience with a passionate approach to Provencal ingredients and locally-sourced products.
A truly charming and elegant spot. The food was exceptional — every ingredient was fresh, refined, and perfectly balanced. You could really taste the quality in every bite. Atile, our waiter, provided outstanding service with professionalism and warmth. This experience absolutely lived up to its Michelin star — well-earned and well-deserved.
Elona G — Google review
We went for the three-course lunch menu. The squid and both desserts were truly fantastic. The main courses were solid, but not spectacular. The fish was perfectly cooked but could have used a bit more spice. The duck was tender and the sauce was very aromatic but there were too many fruity and sweet components on the plate, at least for my taste. We were also a bit disappointed that there were no alcohol-free alternatives except organic juice (which tasted very nice though). Overall, a really nice lunch experience with very attentive service on a beautiful terrace.
Tim F — Google review
We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at Le Figuier de Saint Esprit, and it was truly unforgettable. The tasting menu was exceptional. Every course offered a perfect balance of flavors and surprising combinations. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, creating the ideal setting for a special evening. Service was impeccable and warm, making the whole experience even more memorable. A wonderful Michelin-starred gem that we’ll cherish for a long time. 🌿✨
Melek Ö — Google review
Very good restaurant. The food was very good. We did the smaller tasting menu and the lamb was out of this work and so were the desserts.
Christopher A — Google review
An unforgettable culinary experience in the heart of Antibes. Elegant setting, impeccable service, and beautifully crafted flavors. Every detail, from presentation to ambiance, reflects true passion and excellence. A must-visit gem!
Daniele A — Google review
The location and exemplary quality of cuisine takes it above its current Michelin rating. We had the degustation menu. Service is very good. I have never tasted turbot so delicious as this. Lamb is Chef Morisset’s specialty. That is a revelation.
Ed S — Google review
The service was absolutely terrible, and I strongly suspect the staff of discriminating against Asians. The amount of wine served to me was less than half of what other guests at nearby tables received. The staff did not bother to properly introduce the wine, explain the dishes, or the dessert. The food and drinks were rushed to my table, and the server left immediately without giving me a chance to process anything. Unlike their treatment of other guests, the server did not take the time to introduce the wine and dishes to me, nor did they ask if I was satisfied with the meal as they did with others. Now I want to make it clear: I am not satisfied!

What a wonderful experience with Menu Découverte, one of the best cuisine and culinary experience! Chef Morisset is very kind and talented, I had an amazing 45th birthday dinner! Thank you Chef and Staff :)

Creperie

Nestled in the heart of Antibes, Les Filles du Micocoulier is a charming creperie that invites you to indulge in both sweet and savory pancakes. With its inviting terrace overlooking the bustling Marche Provencal, it’s an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch or a delightful afternoon snack under the sun. The menu features an array of creatively named crepes inspired by artists, all crafted from organic ingredients sourced from Brittany.
Such a lovely place, perfectly situated in the heart of Antibes. The waiters were so cute and welcoming. It was my birthday, they brought the Crepe with a candle and everyone in the restaurant started to sing for me (I don’t know how they managed to tell all the guests my name, Wow!!), I was almost crying. And the Crepe itself was just so delicious. I felt so happy and I‘m thankful for that lovely experience. Such a genuine and happy place to be ☺️
Pablito L — Google review
The savory crepe was disappointing — it was quite burnt and had a bitter aftertaste. I saw other tables also have the crepe burnt. The cheese was heavy, the salad is oily, made the whole dish quite greasy. The crispy chicken rolled crepe was also not enjoyable, overly oily and the fried chicken is greasy, seemed to be made with low-quality oil. The highlight was the sweet strawberry crepe. It was refreshing and well-balanced. We liked it so much that we ordered another one, and they kindly added three scoops of whipped cream on top. Noted that they put a lot of oil on the plate under the crepe. I in general don’t like oily dish, especially made with poor quality oil. Service was just average — not friendly or attentive.
Xiyun L — Google review
Really friendly service. They had markers and colouring pages for kids. Food came out real quick. The galettes we had were amazing, especially the chicken mushroom cheese. Beef tartare was so-so wouldn’t order it from here again.
Natalie C — Google review
Delicious crepes & lovely staff. We came back twice, once for savory, and again for sweet. My friend's first crepe was a bit too crispy for her liking and they re-did it for her, no questions asked. Excellent customer service.
Michaela O — Google review
Lovely little spot in the old town part of Antibes overlooking the markets (which are produce in the morning then switches to arts market in the afternoon). Lots of crepes and traditional galettes on offer as well as pastries and good coffee. Great people watching too!
Emma B — Google review
We had a wonderful breakfast experience here. The menu had great variety. We tried the French breakfast, the Nordique breakfast, and a Nutella crêpe, and everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. The portions were just right, and it was a perfect way to start the day. The location is fantastic, just steps away from the Marché Provençal and the promenade, making it super convenient for exploring afterwards. A great spot for a relaxed and delicious breakfast! I’d definitely come back!
Grace F — Google review
In the centre of Antibes just before the market square there is this beautiful place only for crepes. Gallets and crepes are not big enough to feed ourselves. Outside tables are perfect for the sight, even if not well spaced. We spent 54 € for 2 pallets (ham egg and cheese, vegetables goat cheese) 1 crepes (framboise chantilly chocolate), 1 syder, 1 local beer, 1 still water)
Andrea B — Google review
I am glad we found this place. It has a great location and there is a large outdoor seating area which affords a good look at this lively town. The staff were friendly. We had an excellent meal; I enjoyed a crepe while my wife had a galette.

La Cour des Thés is a delightful brunch destination that exudes warmth and charm, making you feel instantly at home. This elegant tea room boasts a vibrant atmosphere filled with light, while its sunny terrace nestled in a colorful courtyard stands out as the perfect spot to unwind. The restaurant offers an enticing blend of traditional French and modern European dishes, all crafted with care in a cozy environment. A great place for a lunch break. The warm goat cheese salad was excellent, as was the merengue dessert.

Absolutely amazing. Randomly found this place on GoogleMap and it was so nice! The hosts were friendly and helpful. Their menu was written on a blackboard completely in French and one host translated everything for us. And the food was decent, especially the cannelloni! Such a great dining experience.
Mingyu L — Google review
Delicious lunch coupled with friendly service. The wait staff were happy to speak English. There’s a wonderful courtyard to sit in. Lots of fresh ingredients in the Provençal style. Would recommend.
David M — Google review
Fantastic place for a yummy, lazy lunch. The food is superb, and they treat you like family. A must visit if you are in Antibes.
Damien C — Google review
I made a reservation for lunch before we left home (Minnesota). The restaurant's setting is beautiful: you walk under a "gate" to an open courtyard. Menus are hung on the wall surrounding you. The server brought a small amuse bouche (salmon pate, nicoise olives, and crisp slices of baguette) and they were devoured fairly quick! Next, we were presented with two Plats du Jour: Cod with Camargouse Confit and a Mushroom Dish. My wife ordered the Cod, and I ordered the The Cocotte Egg with Truffle Scents and its spectacular cooking. The egg was cooked in front of you for 5 minutes and it is ready for consumption. The foods were spectacular, the service was friendly and efficient. Best yet, the bill is reasonable. We skipped the dessert. We got to chat with the owner, Valerie, briefly too. A nice lady. If you are ever in Antibes, make a reservation with this charming place.

Merry Mary is a delightful gem in Antibes that quickly became a daily favorite for Ali and me. Whether we were stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon pick-me-up, this health-focused café offered a refreshing escape from the usual carb-heavy options. With delicious Buddha bowls, gluten-free avocado toast, and creamy almond milk lattes on the menu, it was the perfect way to balance our indulgent baguette habit.
Great coffee shop in Antibes! They use organic products, offer a great coffee and tea selection as well as fresh juices, smoothies, breakfast and brunch dishes (including vegan and vegetarian offers). The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcomig and so is the staff. They have good music and a cozy interior. The place is definitely worth a visit.

Interesting choice of cakes and vegan sweets, but 6,5€ for a small piece of cake isn't really serving all pockets. Sadly! Exclusively affordable for certain classes. The carrot cake is quite moist, but still tastes like a cake you'd have in winter - cinnamon, ginger, orange. Tasty though. Staff was very kind, too.
Silian R — Google review
This place was just amazing. The owner and the staff were so friendly, helpful and pretty cool. It was super easy to make a reservation. They speak english 😅 which was helpful for us. The food was sooo delicious. We really recommend the poke bowl and the dessert. The decoration and the atmosphere there were just perfect for your holiday mood. Thank you Merry Mary

Nice place to have a brunch and a lunch. Good food and interesting menu. The only thing that I would have liked is that the food to be a little bit warm (especially the potatoes and the aubergines) and not cold or indoor temperature. Otherwise it was perfect!

Renowned for its exceptional offerings, this beloved spot has become a staple of the Cote d'Azur culinary scene. The pissaladiere was amazing!! Would’ve liked to try more things, but there was not much left when we got there. Highly recommend this bakery!

I visited several times during my stay in this Old town of Antibes. First visit at 0730 am no people waiting and lots of selection, but surprised that min. Card payment is €5 - understood we bought the traditional ones Baguette and Croissant tastes good not fantastic. Next visit was about 0930 am waited around 10 min. bought baguette croissant and pain de chocolate - the Baguette tastes very different from the one I bought which many other reviewers pointed out that there is no air-gaps inside so it is more like a scone very denser bread. I like the way of working as they start early and finish early and respect the traditional way of working. They close on Monday and Tuesday. 4.5/5.0 * if you go early, pick among the fantastic selections of breads
Jeong L — Google review
What a traditional French bakery is; the good stuff sells out fast; tarte au citron absolutely au point. The darker loaf you can but as a quarter and have it sliced, absolutely delish. The Tarte aux blettes (i think thats how it’s spelled, is moreish and filled with a variety of green veg. Finally the best local croissants and pain au chocolat. well worth the morning dropin and queue.
Linda M — Google review
Great bakery round the corner of our apartment. Lots locals go, queuing to buy the bread👌
Vicky C — Google review
During our stay in Antibes we tried as many of the bakeries as we could. Towards the end of our trip this is the bakery we kept coming back to. By far and consistently the best as well as reasonably priced. Limited selection but theirs is on another level. Their croissants are simply amazing. This is the kind of business I like to support. Be sure to get there as early as possible as they will sell out and close at 1pm.
Russell W — Google review
Very small, take away only, bakery. Location is on a very quiet part of the town, far from the busy center. Few tourists or locals about. When we visited, 11am on Saturday, there was no line at all. But yes, supplies were depleted, shelves a bit light, selection meager. The pasadilere was ok, 2E, although the fish taste is not for me, nor the oily paper it comes in. Croissants are good but a tad old. Best to come early. I'm just not sure why this place is famous in Google though. Epi D'Or pastisserie is much better. Bigger, more selection, and a chronic short line into the street. And it's in the bustling part of town.
Steven W — Google review
This was a disappointment. There was a problem with the bulk fermentation of the baguette, either it was too short or there was a problem with the yeast, I've never seen such a brick of a baguette apart from my beginning attempts at baking bread years ago. The pain au chocolat was extremely dry and bready, with only one row of cheap dark chocolate. Maybe this is the place to get a pissaladière, but a baguette or puff-pastry stuff is to be avoided.

Foie gras producer
Gourmet grocery store
Sandwich shop
The sandwich shop La Ferme Au Foie Gras is specialised in foie gras and gourmet foods as well as homemade baguette sandwiches. The ingredients for the sandwiches range from foie gras to meats like ham. The shop also sells salads, ice cream, and other snacks. Surprisingly delicious baguettes are sold out of a hole-in-the-wall and are totally worth visiting.
We stumbled upon this small cafeteria during our week-long stay in Antibes, and it turned out to be a hidden gem. Just a five-minute walk from our Airbnb and mere steps from Antibes Marina, it became our go-to spot for morning strolls with a delectable half-sandwich in hand. On our first day, we savored the prosciutto and rocket creation – a delightful start. What set this place apart was the warm welcome from Uncle Dany. Intrigued, we ventured into his recommended Dany's special on the following day, featuring foie gras, duck breast, fig jam, and greens. It was a mind-blowing combination that surpassed our expectations, especially considering its affordability at less than 10 euros. Our last day brought another pleasant surprise when Dany's Mrs. suggested trying truffle honey instead of fig chutney. The result? An ecstatic experience that surpassed meals from fine-dining establishments. As Australians accustomed to foie gras being a luxury, the value for money here was unbelievable. The sandwich offerings presented a well-combined mixture of complex flavors, making it a comfort food haven. As travelers from the other side of the world, we may not know how locals perceive this sandwich place, but for us, it was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're seeking a quick fix between meals or recovering from an 8-hour wine marathon, this spot comes highly recommended. An absolute must-try for those craving a culinary adventure in the heart of Antibes. We love you uncle Dany and auntie! Hope to see you guys again when we come back 😍
Juno K — Google review
I came here 3 years ago and remember loving my sandwich. Fast forward 3 years later, I am back and felt the warmth of nicest owners. So much love put into making these sandwiches ❤️ many options - a great option to take to the beach!!!
Connie T — Google review
We absolutely loved this place on our trip to Antibes in 2014 and were delighted that it was still open this summer, The sandwiches are amazing and affordable. Highlights include #10 Pan Bagnat, #18 La Lafitte- duck breast filled with foie gras, and #23 Smoked salmon with truffle cheese (choose the cheese in the jar of fluid!) We are here three times over the course of our trip bringing take-away sandwiches to the beach and on day trips with us- a great way to save money and time (if you don’t have time for a 2 hour lunch).

Emilie & the Cool Kids is a charming café with a lovely decor and friendly service. The brunch menu offers good portions and a nice breakfast selection, along with great coffee. Oana P — Google review
Cute, but my salad was not exciting and the cookies just way too sweet even for my American palate.
Libby B — Google review
The bagels were nice, one of the few places that have chai latte, which was a great surprise. Carrot cake wasn’t enjoyable in my opinion. Lots of food choices which is good.
Patricia F — Google review
The ambiance was really nice. I got their brunch menu at 25€. Their granola-topped yogurt was really good but everything else was quite disappointing honestly. I thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food, but I stayed there long so I guess it compensates.

Café Marius, nestled at 14 Place Nationale, is a delightful gem that captures the essence of relaxation and charm. This cozy café features a few outdoor tables that provide a picturesque view of the bustling square, making it an ideal spot for both coffee lovers and photography enthusiasts. As you sip on their expertly crafted cappuccino or Americano, you'll appreciate the quality beans and perfectly textured foam.
We found this café while walking around the market, and it turned out to be a lovely little spot. It’s a small, cozy café with just a few outdoor seats, but sitting there with a good cup of coffee felt really relaxing. The café is tucked into a corner, making it a great photo spot—it has a very chill and charming vibe. Perfect for a quick coffee break and a few nice snapshots.

Avoid this place. 4.5€ for half paper glass of orange juice including ice cubes. Awful juice, watery and sour. Waiter disrespectful.

Once more a very good location , sit Down and look around , small cozy friendly place, coffe was strong for me but everyone has different taste

First descent cappuccino since arriving in France. Nice beans, not roasted into oblivion and thin firm foam on the espresso. As it should be. Marius knows his business.

We were in a rush, and did not have high expectations for such a centrally located café. We were wrong! The coffee was great - both the Americano and creamed coffee.

Delicious brunch in Antibes! Portions are a little on the small side, but everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Save room for the amazing pastries inside :)
Rosemary B — Google review
The place is cute. The food is very delicious & fresh. You can even see how it’s done right before your eyes! Still the portions are very small for the price…
Carina K — Google review
Beautifully located spot in Antibes! The presentation of the food was lovely, and the setting is charming. However, I was disappointed with the €17 avocado toast — while it looked appetizing, the portion was too small to be satisfying for breakfast. The flavors were unbalanced, with too much acidity in both the avocado spread and the salad, which unfortunately overwhelmed the dish. It was also quite difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff for simple things like salt and pepper, which might have helped improve the overall experience.
Sigrid V — Google review
We’ve had the best experiences here. From the friendly and helpful staff to the amazing food and pastries - everything is fantastic. We loved our brunch which was the daily special and also the avocado toast. The pain au chocolat is the best we’ve had in France, so light, airy and they look like a work of art. We also tried a few pastries that were excellent as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Sheri K — Google review
More than lived up to it’s reputation. Had wonderful breakfast there this morning. Finished it off with my first , truly French, chocolat chaud. Merci beaucoup!

We had the ham and cheese omelette and the eggs benedict. Both were really good! The place is also really nice. I highly recommend.
Sara R — Google review
The food here is delicious, and you can really tell it’s prepared by a skilled chef. The ingredients are fresh, carefully selected, and of high quality. I only have one remark: for a brunch menu at this price, the portions could be a bit more generous. Otherwise, the service is attentive and friendly.

The bakery A l'épi d'or is a popular choice for those looking for delicious pastries and cakes. The staff are warm and welcoming, and will teach you how to buy pastries in French if you're interested. The bakery sells bread, croissants and brioches that are all superb quality.
CASH ONLY. I figured that I’d start with that so you get to an ATM before standing in a long line and figuring it out at the counter. But it’s worth the wait. There’s a great collection of baked goods. I had the quiche jambon and pain au chocolat. Parfait! Then I grabbed a nice espresso drink to pair with them. It was a perfect morning and I’ll be back to try other delicious items.
Claire J — Google review
1. Under 10€, cash only. 2. I speak very limited French and had zero problems ordering and didn't have any issues with staff. I said Bonjour, pointed to what I wanted, paid, said Merci, and then was on my way. The line was kinda long but goes fast. The apple tart was 🔥.
Trouvaille B — Google review
You have to try brioche vendéenne here! It's light, heavenly creamy in mouth and just sweet enough. Baguette tradicional is very good even for breakfast next morning. Every pastry is excellent- croissant made with butter... cakes... you name it. Service is very good, they are very busy but they will explain you everything you need to know with patience.

Croissant Review * Appearance 4/10 * Aroma 6/10 * Exterior Texture 2/10 * Interior Texture 3/10 * Butter Quality 7/10 * Flavour Balance 5/10 * Overall Rating: 4.5 / 10 Having gone there often as a child and knowing its long history as an old boulangerie, I had high hopes. But as soon as I opened the bag, I knew it wasn’t going to be a strong contender. The appearance gave me confidence at first, but sadly it was anticlimactic. The crisp-to-fluffy ratio was poor, the texture closer to chewing damp cardboard than a croissant. The aroma was mildly buttery but lacked character. Overall, a disappointment. On to the next.

This pastries shop has my birth year, so gotta stop by. Croissants is ok. Cheese bread stop ck is good.
Tin N — Google review
Amazing food all around. However, the staff was mean and condescending when I did not speak good French. It did not matter that I tried, and it was difficult since nothing I wanted to order was actually labeled. Do not go here if you don’t speak good French. Other reviews mention the staff’s rudeness to non French speakers. I should have listened.

Wonderful Nordic lunch in relaxing settings among the artwork, with delightful hospitality from the owner. Wonderful bakery, fabulous bread, amazing tarts and cakes, utterly delicious quiches. My personal favourite is croustadde pommes, all attempts at reproduction at home have failed, their baking is magic and plenty of people know it, the queue down the road at busy times is testament to the quality of their products.

Crazy expensive. We got coffees and pastries. I asked for a glass of milk for my baby. They smiled and I understood it was no charge. I then bought a banana about 20 mins later and they said it was 6 euro. They charged me €4.50 for the small glass of milk for the baby 😂😂😂 Go, it is nice but total rip off!

The worse place on whole riviera. Ice late 7,5 euro! And it is not a specialty coffee, ordinary capsule coffee maker. The service was very unpleasant. No one greeted me, they were ignoring me for several minutes unpacking their stuff.

As with other small businesses in the area the prices are considerably higher than you would expect in most of France. I would have given it 4 stars because they do have a lovely range of high-quality products, but unfortunately the pastries were not even as nice as those I can get at my local bakery in London.

Amazing place. I know it well from my time in France, however they went above and beyond to create a beautiful hamper as a gift for a family member in France. (Translated by Google) False Advertising About Olive Oil I bought a bottle of olive oil at this stand at the Antibes market, attracted by the very flattering labels: "olive oil from Provence," "made in the Var," "fine grocery," etc. Except it's not Provence oil at all: it's a blended, low-end oil, sometimes imported from Portugal or even other countries. This false claim of quality was exposed on the M6 show "Money, Investigations en France," where we learned that nothing is actually produced here: the oils are bottled in the Var, yes, but after being purchased in bulk from vats abroad. And it's entry-level olive oil! A real disappointment. It's bordering on a scam for tourists and local customers. Avoid it if you're looking for authentic, artisanal olive oil.
