Cafe
The Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago is a luxurious rooftop area located on the 11th floor of the hotel in Las Condes. It offers magical views of the city's skyline and surroundings. Access to this unique rooftop space is exclusive to hotel guests or those who book spa services. Alternatively, visitors can join social events hosted occasionally. This cozy spot features an outdoor terrace with comfortable lounge furniture, a heated rooftop pool, and a jacuzzi under a glass cupola.
My wife and I had a blast. Loved the background music and the cocktails were delish.

I love the hotel, and I love the look of the bar. The servers are very nice and easy on the eyes, but the service is just too slow. While there we saw several angry patrons because of this. I would recommend finding another bar outside the hotel.
Bill M — Google review
MAKE SURE YOU EXAMINE YOUR BILL AT THE BAR!!! Stupid me trusted the bartender. I was charged $95 for 2 Manhattans. NOT TOP SHELF, bar brand bourbon (I believe Woodford). Talked to manager next day, said he would take care of it, never did. I will not return. They blantly stole from me.

(Translated by Google) The atmosphere of the bar is by far the most beautiful in Santiago. Everything, the music, the frames of the pictures, the marquetry of the table covers, the sugar bowl with the Ritz logo, the tapestry of the chairs and armchairs, evokes an intrinsic beauty of the Bar's design. I wish the attention was as pleasant. Despite the friendliness of the waiters, there is NEVER anyone behind the bar. I understand that they have other jobs to do, but it is extremely annoying to have to wait for someone to come out to see if a guest wants to order. The Ritz Carlton is an impeccable chain, however there is no brand or name that can justify the long waiting times. The VERY SLOW service is not an attribute that matches Marriott's quality standards, much less those of Ritz Carlton. The food is good, tourist prices, but good.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, my experience at the Ritz-Carlton bar left much to be desired due to the service, whose name, if I recall correctly, was Amanda. In a place of the Ritz's stature and prestige, one expects professionalism, attention to detail, and, above all, cordial treatment. However, she displayed a dismissive, unfriendly attitude that was not up to the standards one would expect from this type of establishment. Her unwillingness to provide proper service, coupled with gestures bordering on indifference and even rudeness, made for an uncomfortable and impersonal experience. I hope this type of behavior is seriously reviewed by management, because it definitely falls short of the service one pays for and expects at this location.

Adjacent to the historic La Peluqueria Francesa, this stylish establishment offers a blend of French and Chilean cuisine, creating an irresistible dining experience.
Wonderful place! My husband had his haircut at the barber shop and had a great experience- he turned up without an appointment when the place had just opened at 10am and he was treated with kindness and perfect service. The haircut was on point too 👌🏻 We loved the restaurant vibe so returned for dinner that evening and the food was excellent. The cocktails were fantastic, made fresh to order. Would throughly recommend anyone wanting a real treat for a reasonable price- some of the best food on our 2 week adventure of Chile was had here!
Rachel W — Google review
We came by for lunch on a Saturday at 12 and it was surprisingly empty. My friend is gluten-free and they did an amazing job at being accommodating. We are still learning Spanish and they were very patient with us when ordering. The atmosphere is beautiful. I would definitely recommend stopping here!
Midori G — Google review
Really nice ambiance restaurant. The service was ok, the server was somewhat rude, Chilean typical service. We only took appetizers and coffee, a stop before we got to the plaza de Armas. All enjoyed the place.
Alain H — Google review
This is one of the best meals of my life. A hidden gem in Santiago. Great French cuisine, amazing staff, great wines.
Jaime C — Google review
A Shadow of it's former self, the new menu is disappointing, gone are the signature dishes to make room for pizzas and sandwiches. The food still is quite good, but not sure it's worth all the hazel to get there not the price tag.
Alfonso F — Google review
This restaurant has it all. Catchy environment, menu that is short enough to choose fast but gives enough options so you want to come again to try the other meals. The service is professional. A gastronomy experience at it’s best. I will be back, thanks.
Otakar H — Google review
The barber shop is the primary motivation for this review. An old fashioned, cutthroat-razor shave is really a must do; this spot is such a grand setting, and such a professional finish! After the cut, lunch at the attendant museum-cum-restaurant is an expensive but very worthwhile experience. Food was good, but the unhurried service was outstanding. The setting is, again, a must-do. Lots of money, very well-spent!

Such a gorgeous old restaurant! Food (ceviche and grilled tuna) was outstanding & service was top notch! Interesting cocktail list too

Nestled in the heart of Santiago, Confiteria Torres stands as a testament to Chile's rich culinary heritage, being the oldest restaurant in the country. This charming establishment is renowned for its iconic Barros Luco sandwich, which was famously created here for President Ramon Barros Luco himself. The ambiance reflects a classic French style that adds to its historic allure.
Phenomenal place!! Do not miss out! It’s a very classical restaurant with a classy atmosphere and a great selection of traditional Chilean dishes. The interior is nice and comfortable and the food is hot and fresh. Totally recommend!! Be sure to save room for dessert; they have lots of options! I had the “torta tres leches” and loved every bite!

This is undoubtedly one of the finest dining experiences we’ve had on the continent. The food was exquisite, the service exceptionally swift, and we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and warm regards to Sir Guillermo Acevedo Roco, whom we had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with. It is no coincidence that in such iconic places in Chile, one encounters such remarkable individuals — we were truly honoured.
Alexander P — Google review
The food is great and the history of the place is amazing. Really great service, I would recommend coming to dine here.
Mateu V — Google review
An absolute must stop if you are visiting Santiago. Filled with Chilean history and unbelievable service!!!! I recommend getting the famous President Barros Luco sandwich, you won’t regret it. Also! Get a pisco sour and a dessert. Patricio our server went above and beyond to make our dinning experience fabulous! I 100% recommend this place!

Excellent old world cafe. Well worth the visit.
RobRoy M — Google review
Service is excellent although can get a bit slow. The place is historic and old French style looking. Good choice in the menu. It's a good place for just only a tea or coffee also. It doesn't come cheap but it isn't too expensive either and the quality is quite good. It's close to centre town. Closest underground "Los Héroes". I recommend to try it out. It worked for me.

Wonderful friendly staff. Great food. A very interesting historical restaurant with a fascinating history. They have a special wine cellar with a special dining room where Presidents come to dine. Or you can reserve it for your special party. The food was fantastic!!

Located in the charming Barrio Italia neighborhood, ÓBOLO Tienda de Chocolate y Cafetería is a delightful chocolate shop that takes pride in crafting its treats from scratch using whole cocoa beans. Mark Gerrits, the owner, collaborates with farmers in Peru to ethically source high-quality beans which are then meticulously processed into exceptional chocolate bars. The shop offers a new line of bars featuring native ingredients such as rica rica, adding an intriguing twist to their offerings.
The best! We were in the area for the day and stopped by twice! We had hot chocolate in morning and came back in afternoon for a chocolate shake and bought a lot of chocolate bars to take home. Excellent service and many varieties of chocolate…we will most likely be back…a must experience if you are a chocolate lover.
Julio T — Google review
Very nice variety of products and excellent quality chocolate, but the experience was overshadowed by the lack of interest of the women behind the counter. As a costumer buying sweets i was expecting, not exactly a cheerful treatment but something way more pleasant, with some courtesy smiles, eye contact and asking if i need anything else. They look like they dont have a good relationship between workers and they dont want to be there. It is sad because i’ve met people who come to Obolo just to try the best chilean chocolate or residents who say it’s their favorite place to grab some hot chocolate… everyone loves the different flavors of the chocolate bars for self enjoyment or as gift, but the treatment is just cold and sometimes even harsh.
Florencia A — Google review
Tried their 85%. I have tried so many dark chocolate and this one is among the worst. The citrus flavor seems way to strong to be natural. Nothing mentioned in the Ingredients makes me reall wonder if the disclosure everything. Tood bad either you can't taste any chocolate.
Pedro A — Google review
We went at the place the last day of our trip to Santiago due to a friend's recommendation. It's a nice place, but because of our travelling time we could not enjoy their hot chocolate. Even so, the guy who received us was very friendly.
Matheus N — Google review
Was excited to try their chocolate and took an Uber here just for it. Turns out its closed on a Monday at 12PM.

Nestled just three blocks from the bustling Plaza de Maipú, Amaia Restaurante is a culinary gem that beautifully showcases the rich heritage of Mapuche and changa cuisine. Founded in 2019 by renowned Indigenous chef José Luis Calfucura and Ivan Zambra, this vibrant eatery has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. During the pandemic, they transformed their cozy interior into an inviting terrace where guests can savor seasonal dishes inspired by ancestral recipes.

(Translated by Google) It's without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants! It's a warm, pleasant, and above all delicious place! And the best part is that the background music is exactly to my liking. On our last visit, we ordered a crudo, the "carretu," as a starter, and it was spectacular, a unique blend of flavors. I highly recommend it! Then, for our main course, we ordered a surf and turf disc, which we shared between two, as the portion is generous. It's an exquisite dish, with homey flavors that transport us to southern Chile, with a good portion of seafood and meat, and a very flavorful broth. I would go back a thousand times if my budget allowed it, haha.

Café Monstrum in Santiago is a delightful gem for dessert lovers, offering an array of unique sweet treats that transport you across the globe. Indulge in their exquisite Bingsu, a Korean delight featuring finely shaved ice topped with fresh fruits and soybean powder, or savor the Japanese-inspired Honey Toast—thick slices of toasted bread adorned with delectable toppings. The café also boasts an impressive selection of waffles and beverages to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Great dessert and coffee shop. They have indoor and outdoor patio tables. The honey butter bread is amazing. The snow dishes are great too. They do such a fine shave on the shaved ice. Highly recommend.
Abigail A — Google review
Good coffee and good bingsu. I have been coming here since long time but the service is getting worse and worse. Today my husband and I went there and ordered one espresso and one bingsu. Unlike other tables, there was no water in glasses being served for us as it's pretty standard when you order espresso. I saw other tables have water even though they ordered only bingsu. I asked for water in glasses and the waitress brought only one glass even though it is so obvious that we are two people and she supposed to serve two. Again, unlike other tables that she just automatically served two glasses of water. I just felt so discriminated and disappointed. When we asked for the bill, again the waitress went to another table that asked for a bill later than us. That was just make no sense. And when we were paying she just automatically add the tips by herself and I wasn't happy to pay. Definitely service of this place could be totally improved. Not sure if I ever feel like going back there.

La huérfana is a hidden gem worth visiting for a unique experience. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the food offers pleasant combinations without being overwhelming. The attention to detail and friendly service make visitors feel at home. The desserts are homemade and delicious, especially the passion fruit cheesecake.

(Translated by Google) The place is architecturally phenomenal. However, the chairs are small and hard, with fabulous marble tables. The wait time is, let's say, long if you're hungry. The coffee isn't the eighth wonder, but the orphan sandwich exceeded all my expectations. This made me forget the discomfort of waiting and the watery taste of the coffee. There are seven tables, so there aren't many people around, which is great if you're looking for privacy.

Justicia Cafe is a small local that opens at 8 AM in Providencia, Chile. Almost everything is made here and at the moment, with fresh supplies bought from small farmers, such as eggs from the countryside, fruits and vegetables from the station. With two double capuccinos ($ 2,300 each) or any of the filtered versions ($ 2,800), you get all the caffeine and flavor you need.
I love this place. Great service, giant cappuccino, great sweets and affordable price. 100% recommend

Nice variety of drinks and pastries in good prices. Great atmosphere created by library walls.

What a fantastic cafe - simple brunch made perfectly, one of the best latte's I've had here, great music and atmosphere - would hold up against any of the best brunch/coffee places in Melbourne or anywhere else in the world - highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) A beautiful café located inside the National Library, it's always nice to have an excuse to visit this iconic and historic establishment. The café's architecture is beautiful. We went around 4:30 p.m., and it was quiet and not crowded. The service was good, and as for drinks, we tried the Americano and the Dirty Chai Latte. The former was very flavorful, with acidic notes, while the latter was very tasty, with a Christmas flavor, but too sweet for my taste.

Cafe
Cafe Noi Nueva Costanera is a cozy and inviting cafe, although it can get quite warm in the mornings. It's not ideal for large groups or families, but the good quality coffee justifies its slightly higher prices due to its hotel setting and pleasant atmosphere. The cafe offers a delicious selection of pastries and snacks, with excellent service and a variety of seating options.
Excellent service, very good coffee, perfect tostado con palta.

The café offers some nice promotions, like coffee and cake combos. I tried the 5,000 combo pastry and coffee. Cappuccino, which was decent, and the Americano was nice too, though keep in mind they use Lavazza, so it’s pretty standard hotel coffee. As for the pastries, I got a combo with cheesecake, but it was so dry it felt like modeling clay. I politely asked to change it, and the girl was super friendly, who worked at the counter. She checked in with me several times to ensure I was satisfied and replaced the cheesecake with carrot cake. While the carrot cake was less dry, it still seemed like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. She assured me it was fresh, made 8am same day, but I know the taste of fresh pastries, and these felt old. However, the service was excellent, 10/10. The girl’s attitude was warm and professional, which made the experience much better. The place is very quiet, and I’ll definitely come back because it’s perfect for working on a laptop in a cozy, peaceful atmosphere. However, I really think the manager needs to look into the quality of their pastries. The carrot cake itself was okay, with lots of walnuts and a nice carrot flavor, but the cream tasted old. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d say something isn’t right with the way they’re storing or serving these cakes.

(Translated by Google) Bad experience. I went on 02/06 at 12:30 they made me wait 25 minutes and they didn't bring me the salad. I went to consult and they responded that it is not yet ready. I tell him to change it for a ham and cheese sandwich (we were 2 people) and he brings 1 sandwich and it's cold! Place to never return! (Original) Pésima experiencia.
