Thai restaurant
Nightmarket is a charming Thai restaurant located in Dublin, offering traditional and authentic Thai cuisine. The menu features classic dishes such as Gaeng Massaman Curry, Phad Thai Goong, and Tom Yum Goong, reflecting the diverse flavors of Thailand. The restaurant provides a family-friendly experience with a flavorful yet mild menu suitable for children. With its narrow dining area adorned in simple colors, Nightmarket captures the essence of a Bangkok noodle stall and quickly fills up with locals and visitors alike.
Had an amazing dinner at Nightmarket last Friday. First time we tried it and not the last! Everything was perfect. Just one thing though, the potatoes in my wife’s curry were not cooked enough so they were a bit hard but aside from that, everything was delicious! Highly recommend the banana rôti with condensed milk and the sticky rice with mango 👌🏻 😋
Marc-André G — Google review
The best authentic Thai restaurant in Dublin. Staffs are so nice and welcome us with a warmly smile, they also gave us a perfect recommendation for the food. Highly recommended!!
Waraporn D — Google review
We had an excellent time at nightmarket. The food is incredible, and can be made as spicy as one likes! Delicious flavors and the side room with tiles adds a cute ambience for a date night. Highly recommend!
Advait S — Google review
This was easily one of the best meals I had in Dublin. Flavourful, spicy, and warm in the belly I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Its a bit expensive, but the portions are big enough for two meals. I will always pay money for good food and will absolutely be back to this place again. In a city where this is so much bland and flavourless, this truly is a standout place.
Natalie B — Google review
I wasn’t going to write a review… but then the staff made it so that I had to! I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy, so I came back an hour later. Not ideal, but I really wanted to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. They eventually found me a table, and from there the experience was exquisite. The food was incredible, I had the mussels, the red curry duck, and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavor. The staff were so attentive, answered all my questions about the menu, and even recommended a perfect red wine pairing. The atmosphere was amazing, warm, lively, and inviting. Just make sure you book in advance ☺️
Gabby R — Google review
This is hands down our favourite restaurant! We have visited many times and it never disappoints. The authentic Thai food is absolutely incredible, the staff are fantastic and there’s always such a great atmosphere.
Katie G — Google review
I have been always looking for a good thai restaurant that would serve good drinks. But it seems that I can always get either or. Nightmarket was unfortunately no exception. Let’s start with the environment. I made a reservation for the tunnel room. When I arrived I was offered a table outside by a pile of boxes. Upon requesting a different table, I was sat in proper tunnel room. That was great. I must say the restaurant ambience is nice, most table are good and it looks great, except for the table I was offered initially. Now the drinks. They have excellent drinks. I was very pleased. I just think they could have been faster. It took a long time to get drinks for a small place. The food presentation was great but I thought the flavor wasn’t there. I had a Tom Kha Gai soup and it was great. The pork skewers are fantastic. Then I had the Miang Kham and it was disappointing. It was a very dry dish. Well presented but very dry and not to my taste. Then we had the pad thai, the mango salad and the papaya salad. The mango salad was great but the fried crab that comes with it was over fried and tasteless. We could not eat it at all. The pad thai was not bad but it was missing something. It wasn’t the best but again, I was disappointed with the flavors. The papaya salad was tasteless and probably the worst I ever had. I love papaya salads and usually I ask it to be made mild so that I enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors were not there. It was like it was missing something. Again the same pattern. Since the experience was not that great, we decided to skip desert. In conclusion, I believe they need to speed up the drinks and enhance the food flavors. Everything else was great. This place has the potential to be the best in town. Just not there yet.
Alec M — Google review
Quality Thai food, enjoyed all of it. But I mainly went there for the Khao Soi Ga which was a slight let down as they used bland chicken strips. In my experience of North Thailand they only used chicken thighs or chicken drumsticks which taste much better. Pad Thai was unbearingly sweet with tamarind sauce.

Vietnamese restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Dublin, Pho Kim is a charming Vietnamese restaurant that brings the essence of Vietnam to Ireland. This beloved eatery specializes in crafting authentic dishes, with their namesake pho being a standout. The fragrant broth, paired with rice noodles and fresh herbs, transports diners straight to the bustling streets of Hanoi. For those seeking something with a kick, the Bun bo Hue offers a delightful twist on traditional pho, featuring beef and pork broth along with round vermicelli noodles.
Pho Perfection at Pho Kim on Parnell Street! As someone who’s traveled extensively and considers themselves an expert on Pho, I have to say that Pho Kim on Parnell Street in Dublin is a hidden gem! From the moment I took my first sip of the broth, I knew I was in for something special. The broth was crystal clear, yet packed with a depth of flavor that can only come from hours of careful simmering. It had just the right balance of savory, aromatic spices and a delicate sweetness that made it truly exceptional. The ingredients were as fresh as they come—crisp herbs, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked noodles. The portions were incredibly generous, yet still felt light and balanced. The accompanying bean sprouts mint chili and lemon were perfectly fresh also. Every bite was a testament to the care and authenticity that goes into their dishes.

Nice little Vietnamese restaurant with great staff. It's a family business. I was given good advice on what to eat and it was very tasty. Great summer rolls with prawns with a very tasty peanut sauce and then a really great pho with beef and dumplings. Thank you for the great lunch. Highly recommended and would love to come again.
Anja W — Google review
I want to bathe in the pho broth. I got the pho tom (shrimp pho) and enjoyed every bite and spoonful. I brought my mom who has never had Vietnamese and she really enjoyed the chicken curry with noodles. The downstairs was pretty packed (a good sign) so we were sat upstairs and there was plenty of room. Great spot!
Emmy C — Google review
The taste is acceptable and on average. You can have a try if you want to eat Vietnamese food in Dublin We arrived at 11:55am and still 5 mins before it opened. We looked at the menu outside and then a waitress switched the closed to open. This we went in and sat down. We felt a bit hot because the store just opened. Another waitress came in at noon. When she helped us to order food, she said she would open window. Then she said the store normally opened at noon. They saw us outside so they opened a bit earlier for me. I have not complained anything at all and just need some fresh air. Also we didn't ask them to open five minutes earlier for us. I have no clues why she was unhappy and thought we seem to cause issues here.

I don’t usually write reviews but coming here gets each better with each bite. It’s authentic Vietnamese in a peaceful, intimate environment and great service.

Food here was lovely, ordered the beef pho - was amazing and came with a decent amount of garnishes. Spring rolls were 👌🏼. Service was great and the workers there are lovely. 10/10
Alicia A — Google review
Awful experience at Pho Kim (€33 for beef noodle soup and spring rolls). I ordered takeaway and trusted them because they were quick, but I should’ve checked before leaving. The spring rolls came in a paper bag with the sauce loosely closed — it spilled everywhere, making them soggy and unappetizing. The noodles were packed in plastic bags mixed with hot red peppers (I can’t eat spicy food due to my diet). They were supposed to include peppermint leaves but gave me coriander instead, which completely ruined the flavor. The soup container wasn’t sealed properly, and some spilled in the car. Overall, both the soup and spring rolls were a 2/10 at best. Definitely not worth €33. I used to go there often when I lived nearby, but something has definitely changed — maybe new management. Unfortunately, I won’t be back, and I’ll make sure to let my contacts know about this disappointing experience.
Ruben G — Google review
It’s best Vietnamese restaurant in Dublin so far. Very fresh, healthy and tasty food, not using much dairy or oil, having interesting textures, and making use of herbs and vegetables. served in big portions. It’s a combination of five fundamental tastes : sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and spicy.

Bubble tea store
Aobaba is a vibrant restaurant located on Capel Street, known for its distinctive purple and green exterior. Originating in Kingston along the river Thames, this chain has expanded across England and Ireland. Aobaba specializes in serving traditional Vietnamese noodle soup, baguettes, and bubble tea. The casual atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to enjoy authentic dishes like Pho, Banh Mi, banh cuon rice paper rolls with minced pork and black mushroom filling.
Nice Banh Mi, tasty Pho. The small bowls are very substantial! Not many seats inside, but there is some outside seating too. Very reasonably priced IMO and very quick to be served. Would visit here again.
Ciaran B — Google review
We chose this place to have a quick dinner before attending an event. I was ready to have a simple meal but as it came strongly recommended by a friend I was expecting something more. I found the food to be quite disappointing instead. Even more so as I had what was supposed to be the signature sandwich. The bread was good but the filling uninspiring. The meat was cold (not even room temperature but colder). I tried a chicken sandwich and it was warmer but the seasoning of the chicken was nothing special. The tables were dirty.
Francesco B — Google review
Came here a few times already ever since I was Young. I came here with my friend for who is his first time and it was packed. The food was still delicious as always and so CHEAP TOO. The drinks are so nice and refreshing I just didn’t like the fact that it’s so small and so packed. Overall experience, we’ll be back. Continue what you guys are doing 👏 Don’t forget it’s CASH ONLY!!!!
Kiarah M — Google review
We love their special spicy hue — it really makes the food stand out! It’s great that they offer different soup bases too, with pork, beef, chicken, and vegetarian options, so there’s always something for everyone. Their chilli oil is another highlight — so delicious and perfectly spicy. Always a satisfying meal here!
Ashwini S — Google review
Really good hue for affordable price. Restaurant is quite small so can be quite crowded but definitely worth it. They only take cash so be prepared. There’s an atm across the street if you find yourself there without cash.
Eero V — Google review
The spicy pho was really nice — warm, flavourful, and just the right kick. The baguette sandwich was surprisingly good too, super refreshing and meaty!
Xiaoxue — Google review
This place was relatively affordable, especially since they offer small bowls of their noodle soups. The small bowl was already quite filling. I had planned to order banh cuon too, but I was too full. That said, it was such a treat to find banh cuon and a variety of other Vietnamese dishes on the menu. Back home, Vietnamese restaurants rarely serve it; banh cuon tends to be overshadowed by goi cuon. I was also pleasantly surprised to see bun bo hue on the menu, since most Vietnamese spots usually just focus on pho. I ordered the bun bo my favorite, and loved that they offered both beef/pork and a seafood version, great for anyone with allergies. One downside, though: they didn’t have hoisin sauce. They did have a brown sriracha sauce (called Crying Tiger) that I initially mistook for hoisin. Good thing I read the label before mixing it into my soup and managed to scoop it out just in time. Other notes: the place is cash-only. They have a decent restroom available for customers, as well as some outdoor seating. Interiors are basic but clean. It was an easy walk from the James Joyce statue.
Faith L — Google review
Came here twice, really reminds me of pho I had in Vietnam. Friendly staff and customer atmosphere is very supportive. Small space which just reminds me of Vietnam even more. Is a very busy restaurant and hope it remains that way! Boba is banging as well

Restaurant
Pho Ta, located in the heart of Dublin's bustling Temple Bar, is a must-visit for those craving a warm bowl of authentic Vietnamese pho. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients made daily to create their signature dish. With a serene atmosphere and late opening hours, it's an ideal spot for a comforting meal during the winter months. The beef pho is particularly noteworthy, featuring tender meat in a flavorful broth topped with enticing spices and crunch.
The pickle radish with prawn fried rice was bursting with flavor — perfectly cooked prawns, fragrant rice, and just the right tang from the pickled radish made it incredibly satisfying. The grilled pork banh mi was equally impressive, with tender, smoky pork, fresh herbs, and a perfectly crusty baguette. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere & Cleanliness: Pho Ta offers a warm, inviting space with a touch of Vietnamese charm. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was peaceful with low noise levels, making it easy to enjoy conversations. Menu & Food Quality: The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. We ordered a bottle of wine, and for starters had chim quay (roast quail) and Nem Thit Cua (deep-fried crab spring rolls)—both were packed with taste. Our mains were com Thit Nuong (grilled pork and spring rolls with rice) and Pho Dac Biet (traditional Vietnamese noodle soup with beef, chicken, and prawn). Each dish had generous portions and was rich in authentic flavour. Service: The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Pricing & Value: Reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity of food. Definitely good value for money. Accessibility: Located in the city centre, the restaurant is easily reachable from different parts of Dublin and beyond. Overall Experience: A lovely experience with delicious Vietnamese cuisine. I’d happily return for another meal.

My friend recommended me the Vietnam food in Dublin 2 and he has mentioned that is the best Vietnam food in Ireland. The food was excellent, especially the mango salad !!! We ordered the second portion this time as dessert. I was here second time purposely for the Bahn Cuon which I didn’t try last time, but they have not enough stock again🥲Strongly recommend also the Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk or meringue on top, I was so impressed with the drinks. Every dishes was so nice and authentic. Definitely will be back !!!

My boyfriend and I visited Dublin for 3 days and this restaurant stood out in every aspect. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was perfect and the atmosphere was very intimate, inviting and calm. The food is what stood out the most, with every bite I was just amazed by the flavors. The sticky rice dessert was incredible too! I would come back to Dublin just to eat here again.

We have a group of people having dinner, there is space big enough upstairs which is very nice and quiet. The pho is very good but the braised pork is fantastic. We had a great time.

Comfort food at its finest! The staff was accommodating to my allergies (also listed on the menu) and suggested dishes that would be safe for me to eat. I got a beef stir fry noodle dish and it really hit the spot and filled my Asian food desires! Highly recommend! I went in the evening and although it was busy I got a seat right away and it seemed similar for others.

The spring rolls are veeery tasty! The ice tea tastes self made and special. The fried rice is literally one of the best fried rices I've ever had! The waiters are really friendly too!

Brother Hubbard (South) emerged in 2012 during a challenging economic period, filling a gap in Dublin's dining scene with its focus on Middle Eastern cuisine and fresh, predominantly vegetarian dishes. Despite the changing times, it remains a popular choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner across its four locations. The Capel Street venue stands out as the only spot open for dinner.

Great spot for breakfast in the Portobello Dublin area!! We had their breakfast sandwich and potatoes and they were delicious (the sandwich was a bit messy and hard to eat but so worth it). The coffees and lattes we had were great. We went for a Sunday breakfast right when they opened at 10am and they sat us right away. If you have a larger group or come after they open you may have to wait or try and get a reservation. Definitely recommend for a filling and delicious breakfast in Dublin!
Courtney B — Google review
The smallest of the Brother Hubbard's cafés, but not lacking in quality. Can't ever go wrong with their coffee, a delectable breakfast and of course the famous cinnamon rolls with walnuts! The location is perfect for those coming in from Rathmines as well as down from the city centre and the large windows are great for watching traffic go by. Special mention of the really friendly and sound team that make it a great experience every time!

Fancy breakfast ✅ If you are close to portobello definitely you need to try Brother Hubbard South. The food is soo nice and the portions are huge, good flavour and very good presentation on the plate, was lovely. The team was nice, very kind and the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, perfect for a Sunday morning.

you can never go wrong at brother hubbard! i’ve been to all their locations and this one is also of the same high quality food and service. i highly recommend their aubergine sabiche with flatbread and their seasonal french brioche toast with ever changing flavour combinations. the place is a little small and snug but cozy.
Ally C — Google review
I was here for lunch with my friend and I got so disappointed. When I went to the north side brother hubbard, the food was great so I have had a good memory with them. This time, I ordered the chicken wrap, they wrote down to choose slaw or soup so I chose slaw on the menu, and they gave me italian oil salad instead of slaw. The dressing on salad had no flavors. I was so confused... Usually dressing has a bit of vinegar taste but it was like just parsley + oil that was it. I asked the staff to ask vinegar for dressing and he gave me the same oil again. I just wanted slaw🥲... The chicken in the wrap was so cold and rock-hard, no enough sauce to go well with, I could just taste the wrap, tortilla..

Nestled in the charming Ranelagh district of Dublin, Michie Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant that has been serving delectable sushi and noodle dishes since its inception as a take-away and catering service in 2007. The family-run establishment takes its name from the Japanese word "michie," which means filled with smiles and laughter, reflecting the joy they derive from seeing patrons relish their award-winning sushi.
Lovely spot kind of hidden in Ranelagh Super friendly & charming staff and I mean super ! Sushi was extraordinarily fresh and absolutely superb! Ramen was good meat was superb but I have had better ramen elsewhere in town and it can be more filing i wish they had Japanese beer on tap also would have been perfect mentioned same to Staff and they are very open and appreciative of any suggestions will be back for sure ! Thank u !
Karim A — Google review
I have been absolutely gumming for sushi the last while. I follow a couple of Japanese restaurants on Insta and their photos has had me increasingly titillated. For a restaurant that is Instagram used very well as it literally gets them a hungry person in the door. So tonight, I ordered online from @michiesushi in Ranelagh. Himself got the tuna and salmon mixed sushi platter and some gyoza. I got everything you see on this plate, 2 tubs of wakame and a mochi for dessert. I'm no expert in Japanese food but I look for certain things when I try a new restaurant: the quality of the sushi rice, the freshness of the ingredients and that clean, sweet flavour you can get from really great sushi. It's all present here with the added bonus that the nori (the seaweed wrap) used was better than any I have had in Dublin before. It was soft and added to the cone rather than just set its boundaries. Highlights of the meal were the spicy tuna cone, the wakame, the sashimi and the mochi, which I dare say may have been made on the premises, which was a completely new experience from me. On top of that, when you order through their website for the first time, you are offered a 20% discount. I am completely blown away.

Lovely intimate place, very nice and friendly owners, explaining the wide ranging offers. Best sushi ever: our Japanese friend was happy 😋

Fried gyoza over fried and hard. Sushi very spicy (7 spices are mentioned, but not that they are hot). Fried fish in sushi not freshly prepared and more skin than meat. See the pic. Sorry but I couldn't eat that!

The only weird thing was that diet coke was not included in the deal for some reason, probably high demand. We had the coconut wings, pork belly and the yellow and green curries with duck and beef. Wish the curries were a bit spicier.

Red Torch Ginger offers an exceptional Thai dining experience with vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. I tried the vegan Pad Thai with tofu, which was perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and full of umami. The Crispy king oyster mushroom bites starter was rich and flavourful with the sauce, while the chicken wings were crispy and well-seasoned. The drunken prawns were must try with the sauce. The fried rice was fragrant and satisfying, rounding out a fantastic meal. They had various drinks choices. The presentation and service were top-notch, making it a must-visit for Thai food lovers. Highly recommended!

We didn't have reservations, but they were able to seat us anyway (Sunday evening, 7pm). Food, atmosphere and service were all great. My sweet chili chicken stir fry had a little too much sauce that sogged the chicken a bit, but that was the only complaint. Recommend upgrading from plain white rice to the noodles... They were delicious. We also had the Korean chicken wings which also had a ton of sauce on them, but they were really good.

Disappointing Meal Despite a Nice Setting I really wanted to like this place—the atmosphere was cozy and the service was genuinely great. The staff were attentive and friendly, which makes this review all the more frustrating to write. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver. The vegetables were clearly reheated frozen fare—mushy, bland, and utterly uninspired. The mushrooms, in particular, were limp and lifeless. As for the rice, it was scalding hot, almost dangerously so, as if it had just been nuked in a microwave. To top it off, the sea bass was soggy and lacked any kind of crisp or texture you'd expect from a well-cooked fillet. It’s a shame because the team front of house seems to care, but the kitchen is letting them down in a big way. With some serious attention to the quality of ingredients and preparation, this place could be great. Until then, I won’t be rushing back. Rating of 1 star for food wouldn't advise
Craig P — Google review
Came here expecting outstanding food. Left without finishing my meal. The front of house staff are kind and nurturing. The servers less so. Ordered RTG Vegetable Stir fry with tofu instead of mushrooms. It's less than ordinary. With 10% tips, I payed €23.05. A bit on the high end for such a meal that under delivers. Not going to come back.

First time dining today as a family of 4, kids aged 8 & 11. The service from waiting staff was outstanding, the food was simply glorious, fresh and so tasty. Lemonade was really tasty and for a dublin restaurant the prices were really good. Cannot recommend enough will return whenever we can.

An absolute highlight at Temple Bar, Dublin, is the freshly cooked dishes. The vegetables are crunchy, and the spices are authentic! I love the variety of vegan options! We visited the Red Torch Ginger twice during our short stay in Dublin to enjoy a proper meal.

Thai restaurant, the food was good. The service was ok, unfortunately they didn't have Thai desserts, mango sticky rice and they didn't even know what it was 🤷 All in all, a good lunch 04.08.2025 👌🌎🌍🌏🗺

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in a basement on South William Street, The Ramen Bar is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Boasting Ireland's first noodle making machine, the restaurant takes pride in crafting all their noodles on-site. The menu features a variety of ramens from different regions of Japan, including tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen from Kyushu and Hokkaido, and more.
Love the Green Devil’s ramen 💚 First time I went I was a little disappointed as it was not spicy as it claimed, however when I gave the place a second chance I was delighted with my meal and the level of spice. I wish there was more tofu but that’s down to personal preference ☺️ The drink options are good also and the mochi tastes great. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and can seat big groups

Fresh made gyoza and the most delicious filling… the broth in my ramen was super tasty and the portion was so big I couldn’t finish it… the staff it’s lovely and kind, super cute waiter explain the level of spice in one our dishes… If I ever come back to Dublin this is for sure one of the spots I’m coming back to. Thank you.
Ana C — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this place. The ramen, as the name suggests, is good — but honestly, quite average. Definitely not the best in Dublin. However, **the real gem here is the starters**, which keep me coming back. I usually go for a few of them *Asian tapas style*. The **salmon tartare arancini with teriyaki sauce** are a must-try, and the **pork tacos** are also really tasty. I also have to highlight the **Italian Pinot Grigio**, which I always order — fresh, light, and great value for money. Overall: I wouldn’t come here just for the ramen, but I’d definitely return for the starters and the wine. 🍷🥢

This was our second time at The Ramen Bar, and we left with mixed feelings. The starters were really good, especially the salmon tartare, which is definitely a must-try! The katsu bao bun was also lovely, super soft and tasty. I ordered the Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen, but honestly, it wasn’t spicy at all (even though I asked for the spicy version). The flavour was a bit flat, though the pork was tender and the portion size was huge — lots of noodles and broth. Service was great as always, very friendly and quick. The place itself is a bit compact and can get noisy when busy, but it still has a nice vibe overall. Food-wise, I’d say it was okay — not bad, but not amazing either. I’d probably come back again just for the starters and bao buns 😊
Anuranga D — Google review
Booking a table was easy and we got a nice table even as it was fairly busy when we arrived. Service was friendly but we had an issue were one of the orders arrived in the time the rest of the group already finished eating theirs. Another suggestion to improve is the cutlery, the food is really good but if you are charging over the average price for a bowl I would expect a ramen spoon and not disposable chopsticks.
Juan D — Google review
Got this place recommended and was blown away by the beautiful venue! Service was great, and we were super excited, especially after receiving the delicious starters. But, we are very sad to admit that the ramen was just for our taste at all… The broth had very little taste and the noodles severely overcooked making it so hard to eat. It was a real shame because all the rest was really nice 😓
Alexandra V — Google review
Undoubtedly, one of the best ramen bars in Dublin. Been here multiple times and tried all the vegetarian/vegan options—they’re all delicious. Just a word on the Devils Green though! Take the spice/chilli paste on the side; not in the broth! You’ve been warned 🥵 Chilli Kagashi Miso and Spinach Yasai are our go-to ramens, Mozzarella Kimchi Aranchini and Kirin are just too delicious to skip.
Chandan V — Google review
I gave a second chance. I initially order the Original Pork Tontsu. It had such a strong bleach smell coming from the ball. It was unbearable not to notice it. I thought initially maybe it’s fine, even tho I knew well it is not.. I gave a search on ChatGPT and called the server to report it rightaway. I was offered to try Chicken version. The server was nice to inform me that the smell comes from the broth, however no broth should smell strongly like bleach. He was kind to offer a substitution. Spicy chicke tontsu was not better. It didn’t have a strong bleach smell, except the ramen noodles, prob the chef moved them from the previous dish. However, the dish itself has no seasoning, chicken tasted and looked like microwaved, the noodles themselves smelling lightly like bleach had no taste, but boiled water. I later noticed that it could be coming from the canned ginger used in the dish. Anyway.. the place looks very moder and fresh… with window seating.. however the dishes themselves are horrible… i can only speak about pork and chicken tontsu. I really wanted to like this place. I hope they can review the dishes quality.

Saba, which means "happy meeting place" in Thai, is a popular restaurant and bar in Dublin known for its traditional Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The establishment offers an extensive kids menu with Asian-inspired favorites and provides gluten-free and vegetarian options. Saba is recognized for its contemporary setting and has a reputation for serving authentic, nutritious Asian dishes prepared by Thai and Vietnamese chefs. The restaurant's executive chef has even cooked for the King and Queen of Thailand.
I went here before going to the Eras Tour and it was 10/10. They did a superb job. They had a limited menu for that day so that the food was served quick. I ordered some noodles and they were amazing, the flavour was phenomenal. The portions were very big. They had special Taylor Swift cocktails and they were playing her songs. They just did a fantastic job and just added to the fun of the day. I would love to come back and try some more food from the normal menu.

Saba (on Baggot Street) is an absolute experience! The staff are so kind, intuitive, and consummate professionals, tendering nothing short of stellar service. Every course is immaculately balanced. The spice profiles here “sing” and are layered with rare perfection. Connor, the bartender, is a “mixologist”without rival….he truly made some decadent beverages that not only developed complexity, but were presented also as a feast for the eyes. The staff are so lovely. The atmosphere is elegant and joyful. We especially loved the photos of people with genuine joyful expressions and moments! We came all the way from California to experience Ireland for our wedding, and Saba represented the grand finale of our adventure, before having to fly back home tomorrow….what a way for us to leave such a beautiful country. Thanks for making our night so memorable!

Bunsen Ranelagh is a no-frills burger joint in Dublin that offers simplicity, quality, and mouth-watering burgers. The staff greets visitors with warmth and enthusiasm. The cheeseburgers are incredibly tasty, and the staff is lovely and accommodating. The menu is simple, making it easy to decide, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. Additionally, the hand-cut fries are just right in terms of saltiness.
Simply good, no fuss, comes out hot straight from grill, and fries are good. Location is great too. Tables are a bit tight together along one side of the establishment (but where isnt that an issue in Dublin?), however, if you manage to get the booth tables, you are comfy to enjoy your drink and meal with plenty of space. They got my burger sorted in record time and staff was super friendly. Will come again.

🍔Burger 5/10 | 🍟 Fries 7/10 🍔Burger + fresh buns - bottom bun was soaked in oil - the whole burger was a bit oily - burger was served a bit too warm - strong taste of pickles - cheese was not felt + big pieces of meat, well done - no special taste in the burger, overall McDonalds taste 🍟Fries + lots of fries, my preference would be for half portion + very tasty - just basic retail mayo, no special dressings

Really disappointed with this place. Not sure if it's a once off or not but the burger was atrocious... Impossibly impractical burger, that you have to smash against your face to try get any in your mouth, can't eat it without a knife and fork which you don't get... The burger was wet and soggy, after one attempted bite the buns disintegrate. It wasn't seasoned and they removed the only flavourful ingredient from their menu; bacon. My partner had the same experience. The chocolate milkshake, chips and beef patty were good, but it's not enough to bring the rating higher. Summary: Tasteless, wet, impractical. Do not recommend.

Well, what can I say about Bunsen? It’s truly the paradise of burgers. You might be surprised by the small menu at first, but once you try it, you’ll realize there’s no need for more. Sometimes less really is better, and here, they’ve perfected that philosophy

Madame Pho is a Vietnamese street food chain that originated in Belfast in 2020 and has experienced rapid expansion under new management. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, including fresh shrimp spring rolls and large rare beef pho. Customers can also enjoy a selection of drinks from the full bar, such as New Zealand Sauv Blanc for wine pairing. With its delicious food and fantastic staff, Madame Pho provides a delightful dining experience for visitors in Dublin.
This is the best Vietnamese restaurant i have been so far. Their Vietnamese iced coffee ☕️ is a must try. They have authentic Vietnamese dishes. The ambience is amazing and they have huge seating downstairs. If you want to have a gathering of 20-30 friends they have huge gathering space. Must try for some authentic Vietnamese food.
Mr. S — Google review
Madame Pho is, it seems, a Dublin chain announcing that it serves "authentic" Vietnamese food. Unfortunately, anyone who has ever eaten authentic Vietnamese food will know right away when she/he/they taste what Madame Pho offers that it's far from authentic. It's a bowdlerized version of Vietnamese food to appeal to Irish palates. A dead giveaway is that you're encouraged to add Sriacha and other seasonings to what you're served — because the food itself is not well-seasoned, as it should be when it comes from the kitchen. The servers with whom we dealt at our meal at Madame Pho were very nice, and the place is cozy and well-furnished. It's a pity that the food just isn't up to snuff -- but I can't say otherwise.

Just ate here with my parents. Got the beef brisket noodles- it was delicious! The serving is pretty big, but the beef briskets were great and I would say it was worth it! The mint/ peppermint soda was nice. Overall, nice atmosphere, slightly expensive but worth-it prices and amazing food! (Okay the BBQ pork could be better though, like not so crusty and dry)

I went here for lunch and I have to say it's a pretty good Vietnamese restaurant. They have lots of sitting space. We ordered Chicken Dumplings, Chicken Pho with Flat Noodles, Chicken Mee Tai Bak and Signature Seafood Fried Rice. We liked everything. They gave Chilli Sauce on side when asked for making dishes spicy. The waiter who took the order was also good. Will come back for warm Pho.

I’m obsessed with this place! I first ate here because it was the only late night vegan place open. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was for being a late night take away spot. I’ve had vegan pizza all over the world and this was comparable to a high end restaurant. So good we went here twice. Love that they use cashews cheese. All the vegan meats are delicious. Food holds up great even when cooled off. I would recommend “the meaty” vegan pizza, vegan Philly cheese steak, bacon curry chips.

Nutbutter Grand Canal Dock is a vibrant and popular spot that reopened in late 2020, much to the delight of Dublin's vegans and vegetarians. The menu features an array of flexitarian and vegan dishes, with a focus on tacos and bowls bursting with colorful, locally sourced ingredients. The owner's dedication to using seasonal Irish produce shines through in the kaleidoscopic veggie-packed bowls, plant-based chorizo tacos, and other flavorful offerings.
This lovely restaurant is located right on the canal dock, offering a beautiful setting for your meal with a relaxed atmosphere. 🛶 The menu features a great selection of healthy and alternative dishes, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking for something a bit different or more nutritious. 🥗 The service truly stands out, everyone is incredibly polite, attentive, and more than happy to answer any questions or offer recommendations. You really feel well taken care of here! 🥰 The portions are generous and the food is delicious, striking a perfect balance between quality and quantity. It’s an ideal spot for lunch or dinner, and while it has more of a family-and-friends vibe, it could easily work for a romantic evening as well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience you get. All in all, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant—you’ll leave satisfied and wanting to come back! 😊

We had a lovely meal here. The hot bowls had great flavour and were a decent healthier alternative to some other local eateries. The restaurant was in a nice part of the docklands with views out over the Quay. I expected some better fresh juice options but the kombucha (from a can) wasn't too bad.

Delicious and healthy food. Service was super quick. I ordered the chickine tostada and bone broth - the bone broth is a strong flavour but I absolutely love that, so comforting and full of nutrients. The chicken flavour of the tacos was also amazing. My friends ordered some of the bowls, looked fab as well!
Paula B — Google review
The food looked good but tasted quite bad to me. Nobody wants the chicken in their salad tastes like a stew! Also, don't expect BBQ'ed brisket. The brisket is slow cooked in a liquid resulting in a boiled texture and no detectable traditional brisket flavor! I recommend adjusting their cooking methods to better reflect their dish description.

I really like this place! They have a really cool concept, healthy fast food that’s quick but actually good for you. I tried one of their bowls and it was full of flavour and very satisfying. The oat iced matcha was also amazing. One of the best I’ve had, so smooth and you taste the matcha. I also got one of their matcha bar and wow, very very delicious. The playlist was great and the view of the docks made everything even better. It’s such a nice spot to enjoy some good food and chill for a bit. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely come back!

In collaboration with The Rolling Doughnut, V-Face offers a variety of decadent vegan doughnuts.
One of the best authentic vegan places in Dublin. The burgers that they serve taste as good as meat burgers with the exact same texture, flavour and taste! Their home made pink sauce with cauliflower bits would be the best combo to have. Their cauliflower wings are extremely crispy outside and the cauliflower inside is so tender that it just melts down in our mouth !!

We were visiting Dublin for 3 days from North East, England and we came here twice we loved it so much! Cool little place with super friendly staff, and the burgers are insane! We tried a few different burgers including the Mac The Lad. If you’re new to plant-based (like me) and missing a Big Mac…I highly recommend this! (The others we tried were out of this world too!) We’ll definitely visit again when we come back to Dublin. We also tried the Beyond Chi, Smoke Show, Skin on Fries and the Cauli Wings. All lushhhhhhh!

Good location and easy to find. The idea is very interesting and the food is above average. All burgers seem to be really good, I tried two types and were really tasty, the sides (like chicken-like cauliflower) are too spicy even for me, and I like hot food! Would be great to have a bit of spicy sauce apart and to choose if to eat it or not. Food display is super, but the restaurant itself is lacking something for me. Starting from the A4 plain paper menu instead of something more solid, to the only speaker in the room right above our head (but I very liked the choice of music) instead of at least two speakers at a lower volume, and maybe the disposition of tables to have more customers and save some space. Nothing hard to fix however! And not a problem if the place is new. So from me 5 stars to give encouragement to improve even more!
