Pub
Bar
Breakfast restaurant
Located on Baggot Street in Dublin's bustling business district, Doheny & Nesbitt is a renowned traditional pub with a rich history dating back to the early 19th century. This classic establishment is popular among political and journalistic circles, often hosting lively debates and discussions. The pub features Victorian architecture, original snugs, wooden floors, carved woodwork, and whiskey branded mirrors in the front bar. Additionally, it offers an Irish menu and a vibrant atmosphere during rugby days.
Our favourite pub in all of Dublin! We’re from Australia and loved everything about this place. It was lively with a brilliant two-man Irish band, great food, and warm service. My husband couldn’t stop ordering the Irish stew, while I loved the fish and chips - but the stout bread stole the show! The pub itself is stunning - spacious, vibrant, and full of energy. With live music, a buzzing crowd, and excellent service, it’s the perfect spot for an authentic Irish pub experience. Highly recommend!
David G — Google review
Our first stop while arriving in Dublin. Great service upon entering the pub and the bartender gave us some good insights on what to do while being in Dublin. Ultimately it was a lovely chat and made it a good start of our trip. I had my first pint of Guinness I absolutely loved it and became my favorite beer. To go along with the pint, we had cottage pie (gluten free) and a classic toastie. They were both quite excellent and blew our expectations out of the water. I recommended going here to hangout, eat and enjoy the vibes.
Marlon T — Google review
A recommendation from a long time friend and Irishman, this bar exudes old Dublin charm and grace. The best Guinness in all of Dublin and, honestly, the best locally brewed IPA here too. The food was spectacular and if you leave any gravy, it should rate as a crime against the culinary arts. On top of all that, nightly live music is devine. A true Dublin institution, well worth your visit.
Mike J — Google review
One of my favourite pubs in Dublin. Timeless charm, authentic atmosphere, traditional Irish music and one of the best pints of Guinness in town. Over 130 years old, it still maintains its original character. You can see old whiskey casks, pumps and tankards in the bar and the wood partitions together with the antique mirrors give a genuine and pleasant atmosphere in which to drink. Slaínte!
Christoph D — Google review
I absolutely recommend this pub. Typical irish pub, delicious food and a variety of beverages especially whisky. And a stunning cosy interior. For sure next visit when I will be in Dublin again.
Heidrun S — Google review
Great food and cosy atmosphere with a traditional Irish feel to it. Bar seats were our favourite but plenty of bigger spaces too.
Dominika P — Google review
After a long day walking around Dublin, Doheny's was the perfect place to rest, eat, and enjoy a pint of Guinness. The food was outstanding and the Guinness was right up there with my favourite of the day.

Kinara Kitchen is a popular dining spot known for its modern ambiance featuring exposed brick and natural wood. This restaurant offers Pakistani cuisine and cocktails, with a lunch menu that includes classic favorites like creamy korma, rich bhuna, and spicy tikka chicken. Their signature dish is the flavorful biryani, a rice dish packed with herbs and spices. In the evenings, Kinara Kitchen serves up delicious Pakistani curries alongside mouthwatering Italian dishes at their other locations.
Went there to celebrate new year. Environment is nice and lovely. Food are interesting that main courses paring with rice. Delicious. Services is good!

Overall Pleasant experience, tasty food, nice music. No parking, slightly over priced. Accepted us as walk in but seated in a high table with high chairs. Would recommend booking. Very tiny table, barely accommodated our orders(2 persons) Service was good, Niamca was super helpful. Food could be improved. Oily beryani, thick Rita salad, no sauce with beryani. Desserts options are good.
Mohamed A — Google review
It’s a sophisticated place, with beautiful decor and very clean. The service is high-quality, but it makes the customer feel a bit uncomfortable due to the excessive politeness, which borders on servility. I felt watched the entire time. The dishes are very well presented, with generous portions served on elegant tableware. I enjoyed everything I ate, especially the yogurt and the dessert, which were delicious. It’s not a cheap restaurant, but it's worth it for the experience.
CSL — Google review
Somewhat subpar date night. Maybe I made a bad choice, but I ordered one of the signature dishes, Nehari Gosht, and it really was underwhelming. Beef was tender, and they accommodated my request for extra spicy, but it just tasted one dimensional. This place is on the pricier side which is why I'm more disappointed. My wife did enjoy her lamb biryani, but again, i tasted it and didnt think much of it. They also provided complimentary poppadoms which was appreciated. Service was good. I felt the ambient lighting was too dull for my liking. I'd likely not go back here in a hurry.
Lacastan M — Google review
Had dinner here while visiting Dublin. We really enjoyed the food. It was fresh and tasty. Best of all, everything was halal. Besides great tasting food, the service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to take care of us. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Atmosphere is really good! They have Nihari which is only spicy food! Presentation was good but taste was not 100% like Karachi Nihari but acceptable! Kindly add Karak Chai in your menu!!
Think P — Google review
I feel a bit guilty writing this because the staff were wonderful and the service was really top-notch. The atmosphere was also very lovely, so maybe I had my expectations set a bit too high? That said, I was quite surprised by the nearly 30€ charge for a portion of butter chicken that tasted like it had been sweetened with 2-3 heaping tablespoons of sugar right before serving. It felt a little like paying a premium for something that didn’t quite hit the mark. We also tried the Nehari Gosht, which is a signature dish, but it mostly just tasted of mild paprika and butter, with a touch of turmeric thrown in. When the seasoning is that basic, it makes you wonder what the real focus is. I think my main disappointment comes from the price point. If this were just a casual takeout spot, I wouldn't mind so much and simply say it’s geared more towards the European palate and accept it. But with the amount I paid, I guess I expected a bit more depth and authentic flavor.

Great pub, came here for dinner and to watch a soccer game midweek. Good buzz about and the barman was very helpful and attentive. Food was great for midweek business trip for one. Would definitely come back, loads of screens for sports and large smoking area

One of the better places to go for a top class Guinness! Very picturesque pub & the atmosphere is always great for a match or for a few quiet weekend pints. Great live music, great food and planning on popping over for the quiz in the next week or two.

Beautiful old pub, over 150 years old. What a nice discovery. Beautiful dark atmosphere inside, wood paneling, old pictures hanging on the walls, very comfortable tables and seats. One of the best pints of Beamish in the city and some great service from the staff. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening. Highly recommended.

Great pub with great food. We were particularly impressed with the stew and fish cakes, but everything we had was really nice. We were staying nearby so it was also very convenient, but I imagine this would be a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The staff were lovely and overall we had a great experience.

First time in Dublin, found this pub (almost directly across from our hotel). Good food, good beers, very nice and helpfull staff!
Meryem W — Google review
Nice pub, really nice pint & friendly staff, however the food is certainly not great, in fact from the pizza to the New York burger & the duck packages they were all on the side of Luke warm , they have a nice open kitchen , & it’s a nice place to go for a pint or watch a match, pity the food doesn’t match the rest.

Pub
Irish pub
Toners, located on Baggot Street in Dublin, is a long-established pub with a rich history dating back to 1818. It is renowned for serving one of the best pints of Guinness in the city and has captured the hearts of famous figures like WB Yeats. The pub exudes old-world charm with its traditional wooden snug area and original features from Victorian times.
Want to get a feel for a local pub in Dublin - this is your spot. Pub has a lot of character, huge heated outdoor seating ( Toner’s Yard). Great place to hang out with friends and a few pints.
Sac C — Google review
Arrive in Dublin on Sunday and what do you do? Have a drink in a few bars maybe? Toners was one such place. A bit of an Irish institution. Crazily busy but still found a table. On the surface it’s mad. But boy is it well run. Table service works brilliantly so no waiting. Nice pint or two of Guinness ( read the sign) Smithies red ale was also a great pint. Nice music going on and a wonderful atmosphere. Would I go back? You bet I would 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇳 Recommended 😁
Larry H — Google review
Was looking for a good Irish pub - not a crazy bar/restaurant. Toners checked all the boxes. Popular and full on a good night. Almost private and serene on an early Sunday afternoon. The proprietor was awesome, polite and friendly and great place to get a good Irish pub experience without the craziness.
Christopher H — Google review
Great atmosphere. We are happy we stopped in for a Guinness. Felt like this is where the locals go, but maybe it is not, idk either way we enjoyed it.
Cam O — Google review
Always a lively pub, especially from Thursdays to Saturdays. If you want a seat you need to get in early. If you’re happy standing you can come at anytime - just be aware that on match day many supporters come here before, during, and after the match, so it can get exceptionally busy. Guinness from inside is usually a 8/10, however I’ve had some dodgey pours and some exceptional pours so take that as an average.
Eoin — Google review
Toners is one of the coziest and most authentic pubs in Dublin — perfect for a relaxed afterwork pint. They don’t serve food, but the great thing is you can bring your own. Right across the street is Cirillo’s, one of the best Italian pizzerias in town. Great Guinness, warm lighting, wooden tables, and that timeless pub charm you just can’t fake
Marco L — Google review
Really cool spot in a great area of dublin. Classic pub inside, with a nice courtyard that is covered in the back. Very lively and a good crowd. Lots of spots to sit, but does get quite busy.

Nestled in the charming suburb of Rathmines, The Dropping Well is a renowned establishment that seamlessly combines a traditional Irish pub with a contemporary upstairs restaurant. This award-winning venue offers all-day dining, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends over delicious meals or enjoying a casual evening away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Really nice setting with a backdrop of the river dodder. Service was top tier; all the staff greet you with pleasant smiles and show great attentiveness. Cocktail menu is also very good, the rhubarb martini and the maverick are must try’s.

We went for Sunday lunch and had an excellent experience. The staff are super friendly and very kind. Food was outstanding, generous portions, piping hot to the table, despite the restaurant being very busy, and delicious. Can't wait to return!
ORLA D — Google review
Service was slow. Forgot spoons, forks twice. Table itself was not prepared. Did not bring cocktail and added to the bill. Beer was with alcohol though we ordered zero as we were driving. Seafood pasta was poor. Just shrimps and mussels and a lot of pasta. No music inside. It was 31.12, planned festive dinner. But it was bad. Desert was tasty. And seafood chowder was ok, though shells of mussels should have not been added there. Place is popular but overpriced.
Claudia N — Google review
Love the place! Came few times for breakfast. Food is made with quality products and is really delicious. Service is really good!
Kassy B — Google review
The Dropping Well is one of those places that manages to be both utterly civilised and gloriously raucous at the same time. The atmosphere? Electric. The staff? Absolute rockstars. The décor? As if someone raided a catalogue marked “exactly right” and then made it even better. I turned up with my friend and my uncle after a week that had left me about as flat as a punctured tyre. Running on fumes, I promptly ordered four cappuccinos not because I’m a coffee snob, but because without them I’d have slid face-first into the table. Fortunately, the food arrived and rescued me. The mains were the sort that demand a standing ovation. I went straight for a burger juicy, indulgent, the sort of thing that makes you question why you’d ever eat anything else. My mate attacked the roast, and he practically sang hymns about the turkey. My uncle, incapable of resisting the classics, went for fish and chips that vanished faster than an overtuned hatchback at the lights. And just when we thought we’d peaked, along came a bread and butter pudding that was nothing short of a national treasure. Add to that the river view which is basically a screensaver made real — and the kind of craic that only comes when you’re with people you like, and you’ve got perfection. But here’s the clincher: my uncle has special needs, and the staff were not only patient, they were downright heroic. Proper care, proper kindness. The Dropping Well? Honestly, it’s class. Go there hungry, go there tired, go there in need of cheering up they’ll sort you out.
Mr F — Google review
Was here for the next day, informal get together for a class reunion. Busy place. We had a back room to ourselves. Staff did a great job of keeping us supplied with food and drinks The food was also great. Great pub grub!
Barry S — Google review
A good experience, nice menu options, staff pleasant and service fast. Food was tasty and the place is nice to be in. One note is that I was astonished by the prices, 15-20% more than I was expecting for most dishes. A smallish extra veg as a side was €5.80 and an extra bit of gravy was added to the bill at €2.50, when you are already in for €26.50 for a beef roast, you would not be expecting such expensive add ons. Enjoyed the food and service but would not rate it as value and probably wouldn’t return until the business model and pricing is fixed.
Conrad C — Google review
We came for lunch, staff was nice and accommodating. They have high chairs for kids (and changing table in the restroom) and they were also careful with the gluten free restrictions for one of us. Food came quickly, it was good and portions are quite big, so perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was nice and some of the tables have nice views over the river, you can book in advance if you want to reserve one of those.

Had lunch here on the terrace on a very sunny day. They have a lunch special which is 3 dishes for €30. We got his which was loaded chicken tenders, fish tacos and steak sandwich. The chicken was absolutely delicious and the other dishes were lovely also. Had a bottle of Bulmers so can't comment on the Guinness. Service was impeccable. One of the best beer gardens in Ranelagh.

Our go-to pub in Ranelagh. Pretty interior. Cozy atmosphere. Ample seating. Great stuff. They have outdoor seating in the terrace. Good for summer time. Indoor seating is available in both ground and first floor. Tapas food available. We love the nachos there. The Brazen Head, located on Bridge Street in Dublin, is a historic pub dating back to 1198 and is officially the oldest pub in Ireland. Its exterior features exposed stonework and vibrant flowers, while the interior offers a variety of bars and snugs. Despite being close to touristy areas, it maintains a relaxed atmosphere where visitors and locals mingle over pints and traditional Irish dishes like Guinness stew or seafood chowder.
Really enjoyed the bacon and cabbage. Seems like a strange combination but I loved it. We went at the opening time and got a table but they filled up very quickly. The atmosphere is nice because everyone is having their own conversations which makes it feel really lively. Food came out quick enough and the Brazen beer more than occupied me during my short wait. Its not expensive either so id highly recommend visiting here on your trip to Dublin.

This place just oozes "special, but unassuming." I got lucky, wandering in and getting a table. However, it seems like one would generally want reservations here, as they are quite busy, even in the mid-afternoon. Staff was awesome. Food was awesome. Beer was awesome. There are several small spaces/room, some of them quieter than others. Choose your own adventure. :-)

After our Guinness Storehouse tour, we wandered about 12 minutes down the road to The Brazen Head, Ireland’s oldest pub and is was a good choice for lunch. The place oozes history and charm, with its stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy corners. We ordered the Irish stew and fish & chips, and both hit the spot. I’d give the edge to the stew; comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. Liked the mash in the stew. Exactly what you crave after a pint or two of the black stuff. The fish & chips weren’t the best we’ve ever had, but still solid. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely Irish without being overdone or staged. A must-stop for a classic Dublin pub lunch. It is a bit kitschy and touristy, sure, but that’s part of the fun at the oldest pub in Dublin. 🍀🍻

Apparently the oldest pub established in 1198. They open at 12 and I would recommend you to come on time just as they fill up pretty fast once they open. I had the traditional brazen beef stew and the brown bread(which was basically Soda bread). It used to be called Guinness stew but they seemed to have since changed it. Taste wise, it wasnt mindblowing. It tasted like tomato soup cooked with thyme. Pretty much thats it. The beef portions were generous but most of the beef weren't exactly tender. They had a chew to it. The male staff over the pub counter doesnt seem too friendly either. He doesnt smile and just seem to have a cold efficiency towards his customers. Overall, the stew was just decent and I would recommend coming here especially just to eat the stew. If ticking off the box of coming to the oldest pub in Ireland is your thing, then yes you should.

It was our first time in Dublin and we were looking forward to visiting The Brazen Head. We arrived on a Saturday night, the place was quite packed, but we waited only under 10 minutes until we got seated for food. It was worth every second, the atmosphere was welcoming and felt genuine, the staff was extremely friendly and polite. We had the Buttermilk Fried Crispy Chicken Burger and the Apple Crumbles, both excellent. We'll definitely visit again.

My family of five visited on a weeknight at 7pm. Had a short wait for a table, but nothing of consequence. We sat in at a lovely table on the 3rd floor, in a well decorated room with great atmosphere. Service was prompt and courteous, with our drinks arriving quickly. The menu was what I consider classic fare, but still a good selections. We selected only 3 food items, and all were made well. Special marks for the beef stew. We didn’t stay for drinks but the atmosphere in the drinking areas was pleasant, and seemed well suited for couples & groups. Average cost of an entree was around €20.

The Brazen Head, known as the oldest pub in Ireland, attracts visitors from all over the world — and we were no exception. We came on a Sunday morning, and although the pub only opens at noon, by 11:30 a line had already formed outside. The place is full of atmosphere, with a very interesting and traditional interior that makes you feel the history right away. The food may not be extraordinary, but it was tasty and satisfying. I can only imagine how lively and packed it must get in the evenings. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but they are still lower than what you’ll usually find in the Temple Bar area. Overall, The Brazen Head is absolutely worth a visit — not just for the food and drinks, but for the experience of sitting in such a historic and atmospheric spot in Dublin.

Visiting this pub was one of the bucket list experiences in Dublin! I was told it’s the oldest Irish pub in the city. It was a fantastic visit !!! great atmosphere, especially with the All-Ireland hurling final happening that day. The crowd was buzzing with excitement. There was also live music in another bar. We really enjoyed our time there.

Cocktail bar
Step into the Vintage Cocktail Club, a sophisticated bar with a speakeasy ambiance located in the lively heart of Dublin's Temple Bar. This three-story establishment exudes 1920s charm with its vintage decor and cozy atmosphere. It has been acclaimed as one of the finest cocktail bars in the country. Guests can enjoy candle-lit cocktails and exquisite dining while surrounded by antique furniture, captivating artwork, and a roaring fire.
A unique cocktail bar crammed with character, you knock on the black door to get in. There's several dimly lit rooms to chill in.. recommend booking before arriving as it a popular spot. They have a large cocktail menu to choose from however will make most classics if you ask. We loved it.

Love this place. A little hidden gem. Cocktails are boozy and delicious. Staff are so helpful and give great recommendations. I’ve been 4 times over the years and not once had a bad experience. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great experience. Service was out of this world. Cocktails came so quick we were wondering how they did it. Extensive cocktail offering and I threw them a curve ball to create something different which they easily did and was amazing. These guys know what they’re doing! Loved it!
Kevin V — Google review
Yes a speakeasy, hidden in plain sight. But the crowd in front gives it away. Multiple floors with intimate seating, very narrow spaces and dim candlelight lighting. The broccoli was disastrous. The cocktails recommended based on my palate, not good. Had the Rosy&Jim and then the Condor&Curly. They say a cocktail bar with a large menu is nothing special. VCC didn’t serve.
Alexandria M — Google review
A delightful bar secreted behind a scruffy door in the middle row of a busy street adds an air of illicit speakeasy to the whole experience. Ring the doorbell and - so long as you have a reservation - you will be admitted to a dark hallway then upstairs to a large candlelit room decorated in 1920/30s period pieces and individual tables. The service is attentive and very pleasant. An extensive menu of classic cocktails and house variations is laid out chronologically by period. The drinks are well mixed and potent using only the very best ingredients. They also have a menu of snacks and larger dishes. I can thoroughly recommend the Sidecar - superbly lemony and packs a punch. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful piece of atmospheric cocktail longe-lizard life.
Martin M — Google review
A real secret in the Temple Bar area. Ring a nondescript doorbell and be admitted to an old-style speakeasy. Extensive cocktail menu covering the classics and own inventions. Had two Manhattans which were gorgeous. Lovely service from the friendly hostesses as well. They offer small plates and cocktail making classes as well. You need to book a table - a couple tried to sneak in the door after we were admitted but were pleasingly told to wait by the hostess - some cheek on people lol!

I was so impressed with this place I’m writing the review while I’m still at the table. The drinks are so good. And the service is next level good. Do yourself a favor and make reservations. We’ll for sure be back on our next trip to Dublin. I’m attaching a picture of the door just to reinforce it is the nondescript black door.
Angelina H — Google review
Absolutely a must find experience in the heart of Dublin. A nondescript door and doorbell on a busy side street, leads to a gorgeous multilevel, 1930s style speakeasy. The rooms are adorned with velvet furnishings and beautiful art nouveau decor while jazz quietly plays in the background. The menu offers a variety of classic and unique cocktail creations, accompanied by the history of different liquors through the decades. The charcuterie and cheese board was one of the best we’ve ever had. There are cozy nooks and tables on every floor, but we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the very talented mixologist whipping up his concoctions. While they do not require a reservation, making one ensures you have a time slot, they don’t guarantee that they’ll have a spot if you just ring the bell. Also, this is a strictly 23 years old and older experience. In summary, the drinks were delicious, the food was fantastic, the mixologist was knowledgeable and friendly and the unique entry experience and ambience was so beautiful. It was perfection, from beginning to end!

Nestled in the heart of Dublin's bustling nightlife, The Blind Pig is a hidden gem known for its reimagined classic cocktails and cozy stone-lined space. Established in 2011 by renowned bartender Paul Lambert, this underground speakeasy captures the essence of a 1920s prohibition-era bar. With a kooky cocktail menu featuring unique ingredients like Mexican chili and chocolate bitters, it offers an unforgettable experience for cocktail enthusiasts.
Located one set of stairs below an Italian restaurant, this speakeasy’s entrance starts with pushing a gold pig on the way that opens hidden doors that are described as a shelf. Upon entering you see an intimate setting with a stone archway & ceiling. Ambiance 5/5 right away. Our service & servers were great! Very friendly & knowledgeable about the drinks. The drinks themselves were DELICIOUS. True craft cocktails with unique ingredients. We got lucky and were able to walk in on a Tuesday evening. Our serves told us there’s another speakeasy located directly about this one called The Little Pig. So we decided to head there next. Great experience here! Will definitely be back!

Searsons, located in the bustling Baggot Street area, is a 1920s-style bar with an airy ambiance thanks to its skylights and a charming outdoor courtyard. It's a popular spot for sports enthusiasts as it boasts multiple big screens and surround sound, creating an electric atmosphere on game days. The pub also offers a delectable pub grub menu.
What a find! Searsons delivered a flawless dining experience from start to finish. The food, staff, service, and ambiance were all top-tier—elegant without being fussy, warm without being overbearing. 🍟 The Searsons Fries were a crispy, golden triumph—seasoned to perfection and impossible to share politely. 🐟 My wife’s Traditional Fish 'N Chips was everything you'd hope for in a classic: flaky fish, light batter, and chips that could hold their own in any culinary showdown. ☕️ We lingered over a relaxing meal and finished with a perfect cup of coffee. The unexpected bonus? A charming little Biscoff cookie on the saucer—a sweet touch that felt like a wink from the chef. 🏨 The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short stroll from our hotel (Dylan Hotel), making it the ideal spot for a cozy evening without the hassle. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Searsons is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've discovered something special.

We had dinner at Searsons on our last night in Ireland. We showed up on a Friday night with no reservations. They quickly sat us at the bar while we waited for our table. We weren't there long before they took us to a nice table in the back patio area. The entire place was super busy and lively. The service was fantastic. I had the soup of the day and my husband and I shared the mussels. Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly.

This is exactly what comes to mind when you think about an Irish pub - very lively, good music, good food (I can recommend the Shepherd's Pie) and - most importantly - excellent drinks. Especially if you are a whiskey enthusiast you will be in heaven - they not only have an impressive collection of Midleton, but also have an extensive menu for all kinds of (Irish) whiskey.
Matti — Google review
The best shepherds pie ever!!!!!!!! Also had a delicious salad with figs and grilled broccoli. And a roasted vegetable side dish. The atmosphere is exactly what we wanted. Fun and lively. The food was excellent.
Amy — Google review
Lovely roast. Really enjoyed the food here it’s very high quality meat and chicken they use. Service was second to none which I was surprised as to how attentive they were due to the large volume of people in there. If you want a Sunday roast that’s a touch above the rest then this is your spot! The Guinness was lovely also, cold and creamy. I didn’t see many other drinks being drank even tho they have a vast quantity of them on draft, so don’t panic if you don’t like Guinness. If you’re a wing person I’d also recommend them from what I saw the portions were big and the wings were generously coated in what looked like a delicious sauce. Only thing that stops me from giving it an overall score of 5 is I asked for my beef to come out medium rare but it came out slightly pink but more dark. However, the few chefs working were doing a lot of cooking as it was rammed inside & out. These things happen. Note: I would probably recommend booking a table on weekends especially Sunday as they show sports. But there is ample seating inside. Overall experience really 10/10 and will 100% return!

Murphys Ice Cream is a renowned artisan ice cream shop with locations in Dingle and Dublin, Ireland. The ice cream is handmade using farm-fresh milk, cream, organic sugar, and free-range eggs. Their Dublin location offers a delightful selection of flavors including Irish brown bread, Dingle sea salt, Irish coffee, Dingle gin, Dingle sea water and Chocolate Whiskey. This is the best ice cream I've had in Ireland, without question. It's excellent. Had a 2 scoop bowl, with brown bread and a sea salt ice cream. Heavenly. Not your normal flavors. You got a try this !

I was recommended to come here to from a friend and I'm sure glad I did. Busy line up when I arrived but it moved pretty quickly. Employees are there to give you samples while you wait, and they were more than happy to give you a few to try. I ordered the Sea Salt and Honeycomb Caramel, and both flavors were fantastic. Really rich and creamy, strong flavors. Dairy free options are their sorbet, and a few gluten free as well. Prices are reasonable for what you get, definitely give it a try if you love ice cream!

Murphy's ice cream is first-rate. Its flavors are true, its ingredients seem to be top-quality, and it's not super-sweet. The chocolate whiskey scoop we had along with a raspberry scoop today were both wonderful. And the person dishing up the ice cream couldn't have been nicer.

My smooth chocolate & strawberry ice cream was tasty. The ice cream is from milk from Kerry which is great. The flavours are a bit weird & not all of the same standard. Many are too sweet. Overall it's expensive for what you get. Service is excellent.

Dingle Ice Cream, just off Grafton Street, has quickly become one of my favorite ice cream spots in Ireland — in fact, it’s my second favorite in the whole country. The quality is excellent, and their creativity with flavors is impressive. I absolutely loved the chocolate with Teeling whiskey, a brilliant mix of rich and boozy notes that feels uniquely Irish. The texture is creamy, the taste is fresh, and the overall experience is fantastic. Definitely a must-try when exploring Dublin city center!

The menu features unique dishes like mussels with Nduja, fragrant vegan curries, and mouth-watering chicken parm. The bar also offers an impressive selection of party food and drinks including tank beer and cocktails from their appetizing menu.
Always a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and attentive. Food is good and portion size fair for the price. I think it has actually improved since my previous visits. Chicken wings and Chowder in particular are excellent. Beer is always well served and cold. Love the heated terrace outside to sit and watch the world go buy.

Went to this place for food. Didn't think bar food could be so good. It was plenty of food. Our servers were lovely. The two girls on front of house really took care of us without us feeling pestered by them. Ensured empty plates were quickly taken and offered drinks at appropriate times. I would definitely go here again. Losing an atmosphere star as the TVs at the front are a bit awkwardly placed. Could do with slightly bigger screens.

The Bridge 1859 in Ballsbridge is one of Dublin’s great pubs, striking the perfect balance between a lively atmosphere and quality dining. The vibe is warm and welcoming, yet vibrant enough to make it a fun spot whether you’re grabbing dinner with friends or catching a match. The service is consistently excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. The food goes well beyond standard pub fare, with highlights like wings, chowder, fish & chips, hearty burgers, and more refined dishes such as pan-roasted hake. Portions are generous and the value is solid for the quality and the location. Drinks are also a big plus, with fresh tank beer on tap and a good cocktail selection. On busy days, especially when there’s a big game, it can get crowded and the wait for food may be longer, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Overall, The Bridge 1859 is a spot I’d happily return to: great food, excellent service, and one of the best pub experiences in Dublin.

I visited The Bridge 1859 in Dublin during lunchtime. I ordered the spare ribs, which were served with French fries and a Caesar salad. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and of good overall quality. The waiting time for the meal was around half an hour, but it was pleasantly complemented by a local draft beer. The lunch set menu offered a fair balance of price and quality and left a positive impression. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience that I will keep in good memory.
Michael M — Google review
We were passing here today and decided to stop in for some grub as it has been reviving good publicity, the outdoor area was nice and a non smoking outdoor dining area is always a plus. The food was good although the tartar sauce was overbearing and not nice apart from that I could say little bad about the food. The service was very slow and considering there was very few people in at that time I’d have expected it to be more “on the ball”. We had starter and mains and overall it took 1 hour 30 mins (slightly over that) from sit down to leaving. I would go back here as the food is nice and I’d like to experience the atmosphere on a game day 🏉

Peruke & Periwig is a French-inspired venue located on lively Dawson Street. The three-storey Georgian townhouse features a ground-floor bar with wood paneling and a salon serving delicious meals upstairs. The vintage decor includes quilted red booths, gilded gold portraits, velvet furniture, and antique clocks. A memorable cocktail experience The menu is built around wigs for some reason. Weird, yes, but it works The interior is wonderful, like some kind of posh Victorian hotel. Very good cocktails, mixed service. I reserved a table online, but upon arrival got informed it’s only for an hour and fifteen minutes due to a “big reservation” arriving later… which i found quite rushed and inelegant for a place like this. The hostess was very unapologetic and disinterested in any conversation. We got seated upstairs. Nice decor, but some of it damaged and I repaired, bit of a sewage smell in the room. Luckily from there it got only better. Our margaritas were delicious and bartenders super attentive and kind. Mixed feelings really.

Amazing venue with great drinks and concept, let down by simply incompetent staff. Harsh but every moment was excruciating from the initial greeting, to waiting 20 minutes to get a first drink, to being presented the bill before our second drink arrived, to then being told our table time was up before that drink arrived. Really awful experience saved only by some quite exciting cocktails. It’s been a while since I’ve really met such terrible staff. I haven’t contemplated complaining before but ended up laughing at how bad this really was - right up to getting our own drinks from the bar, much to the embarrassment of the barman. The location and venue is terrific and maybe after a purge of the team this place could be worth visiting again. Shocking.

A first time visit and was very impressed. Lovely welcome, helpful and knowledgeable staff who offered suggestions and explained the dishes we were interested in. We had Vietnamese Rolls & Bao Buns, both with Soft Shell Crab Tempura to start and Seafood Tom Yum for mains, which was plentiful and delicious. To drink - Tropical New Fashioned one sweet and one spicy , both a good choice. We arrived at 3pm the opening time on a Saturday which was quite so we'll definitely be back to experience the atmosphere when it's busy.

A Perfect Date Night Spot We had a wonderful date night at Opium on Wexford Street, Dublin. The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and beautifully presented. The cocktails were just as impressive, crafted with care, and packed with personality. Even without a booking, we were able to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely welcome, even taking the time to chat and guide us through the menu. The ambience was warm and inviting—perfect for a cosy evening out. The food was excellent. The bang bang mayo chicken wings had a delicious sauce with a lasting aftertaste, and the panko tiger prawns were perfectly crunchy on the outside yet light, without the heaviness of batter. The green curry was absolutely outstanding, rich in flavor and with a great texture, highly recommended. I also enjoyed the pad kee mao, which was less spicy than I expected but still beautifully seasoned. The staff were attentive and genuinely kind, making the experience even better. The place itself is comfortable, with background music at just the right volume, enough to set the mood while still allowing easy conversation without raising your voice.

Pub
The Palace Bar, located on Fleet Street in Temple Bar, is a Victorian-era establishment that recently celebrated its 200th birthday. Originally a Georgian building, it underwent a Victorian makeover and became popular in the 20th century as a gathering place for Dublin's literary community. Renowned writers such as Flann O'Brien, Patrick Kavanagh, and Brendan Behan frequented the bar.
It's been a long while (years)since I've stumbled upon this traditional Irish pub. The atmosphere was quite, as it was not busy... everything I would have imagined. what was very cool was the mirror partitions that separated the bar stools & just sitting between them taking in the history with a pint.. The bartender that served me is still in some of the current photo's I see on line, so judging from that I'm guessing the palace bar is very while grounded with tradition. I wouldn't miss this place if I were you.

Lovely pub! Visited on a Thursday and Friday night during my holiday in Dublin. Thursday was a nice atmosphere, lively but not overly loud, generally older crowd, mostly irish with a few tourists (like us). Friday was busy but still had seating available upstairs, many people stood outside drinking. Big selection of whiskeys, good beers, a helpful staff.
Shaun R — Google review
It's what you'd expect out of a pub. I asked locals and did research on where I could have the best pint of Guinness, as I frequently drink it, I was not disappointed, this was definitely the best pint of Guinness I've ever had. Their Guinness is rather easy to drink and more on the smooth side than the creamy side, depends on what you like, but this was perfect for us. The Bulmers off the tap was also excellent, it had kept its fizz quite well, as they're usually served via bottle. The barmen were fast and on point, no bullshit, just drinks.

Great spot with reasonably priced drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. No food or TVs. Love the sense of privacy, it’s perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet night out. Always a solid choice! The guiness is a perfect pour.

Stopped in here for a quick pint. The Guinness did not disappoint. Very cool pub atmosphere and in a great location. The place is very busy and it can be hard to find a seat or even standing room.
Dave H — Google review
We saw the notice saying live trad music on a Sunday night abs since it was Sunday we went up. The guinness was great, the irish coffee too. But the music was fabulous. As the evening went on musicians kept arriving. The music was good traditional music not fake tourist come-all-ye's.
Belfastladdie — Google review
This is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or few. It was busy on a weekday afternoon and we were extremely lucky to find a seat as it got really busy not long after we arrived.

I have been to Dublin many times. It's generally a warm, welcoming place. During this last visit, I noticed a shift. Bar staff doesn't want to engage or answer questions about the history of the establishment or even smile at customers. There just isn't the feel there used to be. The Palace Bar is one of the few places this was not true. The bartenders were warm and the bar itself is absolutely beautiful. The clientele was relaxed and happy. It retains its good feel.

The lunch menu features classic dishes like bulgogi, kimchi stew, and spicy chili pork at affordable prices. The staff readily assists with vegetarian options.
The starters were amazing. We ordered sushi, spring rolls and dumplings, all the dishes were flavourful. They had a lot of vegan options. Staff was really nice. Service was quick. Overall an amazing experience.

We tried the bibimbap — the hot beef was delicious, but the rest felt a bit plain. The chicken wings were crispy but soaked in a sweet sauce, which wasn’t really our thing. That said, the ambience was lovely, staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. Glad we tried it, but not sure we’d rush back — maybe just for that beef!

Overall, a good meal. I'd eat here again. Food was flavor, served hot and fresh, and it was tasty. Atmosphere was okay. Didn't have to wait ling for a table. Menu selections were a good mixture and had something for everyone. Prices were on par with my expectations and wasn't too expensive.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which made the whole dining experience very enjoyable. The only downside was the restroom, which could definitely use more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. That said, I would still highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and excellent service. With some improvement to the facilities, it would be truly perfect!

I got delivery, I got the japchae noodles with added beef bulgogi, it was really delicious especially the beef. It had a lovely taste to it savoury and a hint of sweet. I also got the fresh kimchi, it was really tasty and good amount of spice to add to any of their dishes. Can’t wait to go in person as their delivery service has a smaller limited menu and I’d love to try more !

Never been here before but I wish I knew about it sooner! I’ve booked a table at The Camden because I had friends visiting for the weekend and we had a lovely time there. My girlfriend went for a margherita pizza and she said it was actually really good (she’s Italian). I went for the burger wish was tasty with a very generous portion of fries. Super recommended!

We visited Camden on a Saturday night, and it was such a fun experience! The place is huge, with an incredible atmosphere that’s full of party vibes. The crowd and energy really made it feel alive, and the music was fantastic at one point they even played a Hindi-Punjabi track, which was a great surprise and added to the fun mix. Definitely a great spot for nightlife and enjoying diverse music in a lively setting
Pratik S — Google review
We are Canadians visiting Dublin and saw online that the Camden has a wide range of sports on their tvs. It’s baseball playoffs so we went there to eat and drink and watch the Toronto Blue Jays. We arrived at 9pm and went to the second floor. The female waitstaff we encountered were flat out lying to us. Told us the kitchen was closed and that we could not get any food and they were absolutely certain of it. We tried to order drinks and the bar staff said you had to be sitting at the table if you wanted to order food with your drinks. After 15+ minutes of getting nowhere and actually having one of the female waitstaff that we spoke to walk by us and completely ignore us, I decided to seek out a manager. Once I did that the service turned around 100% and Hector and the other staff were very apologetic and helpful. We ordered drinks and our drinks and pizzas arrived in less than 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the manager’s response to my concerns with the young female weight staff not seeming to want to serve us or help us in anyway. He seemed to know who we were talking about so there may have been a history with this server. It’s a wonderful venue. Lots of televisions and we were there on a Saturday night so it turned into a really fun nightclub. Lots of younger people having a great time. They definitely accommodated us as we watched our baseball game. All the rest of the TVs went dark to support the nightclub atmosphere, but they allowed us to watch our game and enjoy ourselves in the Camden. What started off as incredibly frustrating evening became a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to the Camden staff!

Garden
Nature & Parks
Nestled in the heart of Dublin, Iveagh Gardens is often referred to as the city's hidden gem or "secret garden." Originally designed in 1865 and beautifully restored since 1995, this enchanting space offers a serene escape from urban life. Once known as Coburg Gardens, it was revitalized by Sir Benjamin Guinness and later gifted to the Irish nation.
A nice garden that gives you a bit of peace from the city. It is quite large and contains a waterfall, two fountains, a yew maze, a rose garden, archery grounds, and some statues. There are toilets in the gardens. The gardens are mainly wheelchair accessible. There is access through the Clonmel Street and Hatch Street entrances, but not through the Concert Hall Gate entrance. There are hard surface paths around the gardens.
Shelley C — Google review
Iveagh Gardens is a true hidden gem in the heart of Dublin. Tucked away just behind Harcourt Street and a short stroll from St. Stephen’s Green, it’s easy to miss—but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. The park is beautifully designed, combining formal landscaping with a natural, relaxed feel. Highlights include elegant fountains, a small waterfall, a charming grotto, and wide open green spaces perfect for picnics or reading a book. What really sets it apart is the peaceful atmosphere. Unlike other city parks, it’s rarely crowded, even on sunny days. It feels like a secret escape right in the middle of the city, offering quiet pathways, shady spots under mature trees, and beautifully maintained flower beds. It’s a great place to unwind, have a thoughtful walk, or just enjoy a bit of nature without leaving the city center. Occasionally, it hosts events like Taste of Dublin or small concerts, but outside of those times, it remains calm and serene. Whether you're a local or a tourist, it’s well worth taking the time to find the entrance and explore this tranquil oasis.
Karthika N — Google review
It’s pretty, but the fountains/waterfalls weren’t running. Since we were already near St. Stephen’s Green, we checked it out. But I wouldn’t go out of your way to get here because it seems from the other reviews that it’s hit or miss when they turn on the fountains.
Yoseline R — Google review

Best meal in Ranelagh, and best deal in all of Dublin! Fancy atmosphere but casual enough; pleasant and attentive staff. Exceptionally well priced for the quality. Saba, which means "happy meeting place" in Thai, is a popular restaurant and bar in Dublin known for its traditional Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The establishment offers an extensive kids menu with Asian-inspired favorites and provides gluten-free and vegetarian options. Saba is recognized for its contemporary setting and has a reputation for serving authentic, nutritious Asian dishes prepared by Thai and Vietnamese chefs. The restaurant's executive chef has even cooked for the King and Queen of Thailand.
I went here before going to the Eras Tour and it was 10/10. They did a superb job. They had a limited menu for that day so that the food was served quick. I ordered some noodles and they were amazing, the flavour was phenomenal. The portions were very big. They had special Taylor Swift cocktails and they were playing her songs. They just did a fantastic job and just added to the fun of the day. I would love to come back and try some more food from the normal menu.

Saba (on Baggot Street) is an absolute experience! The staff are so kind, intuitive, and consummate professionals, tendering nothing short of stellar service. Every course is immaculately balanced. The spice profiles here “sing” and are layered with rare perfection. Connor, the bartender, is a “mixologist”without rival….he truly made some decadent beverages that not only developed complexity, but were presented also as a feast for the eyes. The staff are so lovely. The atmosphere is elegant and joyful. We especially loved the photos of people with genuine joyful expressions and moments! We came all the way from California to experience Ireland for our wedding, and Saba represented the grand finale of our adventure, before having to fly back home tomorrow….what a way for us to leave such a beautiful country. Thanks for making our night so memorable!

Our group of 10 ate here twice during our week in Dublin and was easily a favorite! The staff were super friendly, the food was fresh, quality ingredients and made well. Coffee was good too! Thank you for providing great food and service! There was a line each time, but were able to get in and enjoy a wonderful breakfast!

I had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast here yesterday, and it was a delightful experience. Upon entering, the staff warmly greeted me and promptly seated me at a table. The café is spacious, with a live counter showcasing the food being prepared, which adds a nice touch. I ordered the avocado toast, which was beautifully presented. It came with a side of bread, chopped red and sun-dried tomatoes, fresh rocket leaves, two perfectly poached eggs, a glazed dressing, and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds. Alongside, I had a flat white that complemented the meal wonderfully. Everything—from the food to the service—was excellent. The staff were attentive, the flavors were on point, and the ambiance was welcoming. I would highly recommend this spot!

Really nice café with amazing food, especially for breakfast/brunch! Mind-blowing french toast. Not too cheap but definitely worth it! I loved this place, I had to go back many times!
Lara S — Google review
Absolutely terrible service. I came in very hungry and sat down, politely asked the waitress to take my order. She told me “2 minutes,” so I waited. Next thing I know, a group of five people walked in after me and she immediately went to take their order instead, completely ignoring me. I sat there waiting and waiting, until I finally had to leave because no one bothered to take care of me. The waitress didn’t even notice when I walked out. Extremely unprofessional and the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Never coming back.
Himanshu S — Google review
The coffee is amazing, but avoid the vegan breakfast! It was overcooked and bland. The only decent thing was the toast, which, according to the menu, is a nice granary bread, not the white toast that I was actually given. Won't be eating there again. What's worse is, you have to pay when you order so there is no comeback when your food is as awful as this was. Also, a single mushroom cut in half is pretty stingy. Very very disappointing.
Suzanne K — Google review
Overall a nice cafe, seating inside and outside. The layout to order food is a little confusing but the staff are nice. The full Irish breakfast was very filling and nice, some items were a little tough. Prices are decent for good portion sizes.

I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. It was to die for. Not too heavy, but enough to get you started for the day. One of the best I’ve ever had. My friend had the porridge with fruit. She LOVED it. This place definitely lives up to the reviews. Best breakfast I’ve had so far here. It was so good we went back the second morning. I had the French toast with bacon and a side of scrambled eggs. My friend had the ham and cheese omelette. Both were good, but I liked the burrito better. My friend said the omelette was the best she’s ever had.

Cat and Cage is a historic pub that has been around since the 18th century, serving as a postal stop for rebels during the 1798 rebellion. It was also a favorite haunt of Sean O'Casey. Despite its name, this establishment welcomes dogs and their owners with delicious pizzas and pints. The interior has undergone significant renovations, offering a revamped atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
The food and the recommendations of beers were on point! We enjoyed delicious burgers there and also we drunk a pint of Guinness and also de Blue Moon. Fabulous! The place was a little full of people drinking at the beginning, but the waiter was so nice to offered us a table to dinner :)

Lovely pub, well worth a visit for hearty meals and fresh pints. The fish and chips we had were delicious, and the fries were great too. Staff were attentive and very friendly. We happened upon Cat & Cage as it was located within a minutes walk from our hotel, the Skylon Hotel in the Drumcondra area of Dublin. We were initially drawn in by their name (marketing works on us, lol) and then "sold" with their amazing sounding vegan options. Until researching to write this post, we hadn't realized we were walking back into four centuries of history dating back to 1690, wow, who knew!! It was dinner on Thursday night and the place was hopping (if the pub were named "The Bunny & the Cage" that would make a funny pun but ahhhh, I digress...). While everything was excellent, the best item of the evening was the Beer Battered Onion Rings with Chipotle Mayo. For a fried food, these tasted incredibly light and the onions tasted very fresh! The Funghi Pizza offered a hearty and varied mouthfeel with each bite, with lots of flavors and textures between the wild mushroom mix, the spinach, pistachio crumbles, and mozzarella cheese! We both agreed that between the crust and the cheese, the pizza could have benefited from an additional couple of minutes of oven time but that didn't deter from this being an amazing option! The burger was equally satisfying with a generous portion of delicious house cut chips (fries, but I know you know that lol). We were hungry and really jonesing to try all of the options that we did .. but honestly, either the pizza or burger option would likely be enough for two reasonable .. not so gluttonous people! If you live in Dublin and haven't been or you're visiting, either way .. Cat & Cage needs to be on your short list of places to eat!

We just dropped in to The Cat and Cage for dinner this evening. The atmosphere was lively, and the food and service were very good. Irish pub

Pub
The Long Hall is a traditional pub in Dublin that has been serving locals and tourists since 1766. The Victorian building is adorned with red-and-white-striped awnings, oak ceilings, and old-fashioned globe lamps, creating a nostalgic ambiance. During the day, it's an ideal spot for a quiet pint of Guinness, while evenings see an influx of sociable locals and visitors enjoying the warm atmosphere. The interiors are filled with trinkets and oddities that transport patrons to a bygone era.
I gave five stars for food, but by food I mean a couple of pints of Guinness and a packet of salted peanuts. A perfectly pulled Guinness is what I came here for and it's what I got. Great atmosphere and fast, friendly service.

Worth a visit as it does have a very Victorian feel to it. Very nice but standard selection of beers. We only popped in for a Guinness while we waited for our next appointment to come around. Very nice place to people watch and relax. The prices were reasonable for the area.

Over the last few years my wonderful partner has been discovering his Irish roots and reconnecting with his Irish family. On a rainy afternoon in Dublin he was excited to share with me one of Dublins most iconic venues that has played its part in his recent odyssey. Upon entering it’s easy to understand why this historic boozer is a firm favourite with the locals and tourists alike. Obviously Guinness was our ‘tipple of choice’…( Like there’s any other when visiting a Dublin institution such as this! ) However, you have to understand when you order this national beverage in Dublin there are a few rules involved… NEVER drink from your pint until the nectar is settled and 100% black in colour. ALWAYS place your pint on a beer mat. - I got ‘schooled’ twice in a non verbal firm but friendly manner by the barman - Sláinte. The bar is very traditional, brass fittings, long case clocks, gloss paint on the walls and vintage branded paraphernalia returning you to the halcyon days of drinking - without the cigarette smoke. The place filled up quickly with locals, regulars and after work drinkers - a very pleasant time was spent but sadly after a couple of pints of the brilliant ‘black stuff’ we had to make our way back outside into the rain taking advantage of the complimentary umbrellas on offer at the door - which is a super nice touch and very useful. Thank you and see you again soon I hope x

This old library may be better than even the Book of Kells. It’s like you’re walking through a Hollywood movie set. The books are beautiful as is all the beautiful dark woodwork. The old manuscripts are beautiful in the middle is cool. The big spinning globe is cool but is out of place. This is a must see in Dublin.

When I say "food", I mean some of the best pours of Guinness in the Dublin area. Great place. Cool vibe. And some great people behind the bar there to help fix you up with the perfect pint or other liquid libation.

No Beamish! There is a pic from a couple years ago but they apparently switch out stouts. They had Clockwork, which was decent. I specifically came for Beamish (there are plenty bars in Dublin that serve it, was trying to see as many as possible).

À great Dublin bar in the heart of the city, well frequented by local Dubs, if you want to escape the Temple Bar crowds and enjoy some nice drinks in a great Dublin pub then The Long Hall is yer only man !!! (Didn’t rate food as we didn’t have any but they certainly do food, check menu online)

Irish pub
Blackbird is a trendy tavern located in Rathmines, offering a laid-back and retro vibe. The bar is known for its extensive selection of craft beers, including both Irish and international varieties, making it a popular spot for beer enthusiasts. In addition to the impressive beer selection, Blackbird also serves up delicious pizzas, adding to the overall appeal of the venue. The cozy and quirky interior creates an inviting atmosphere for patrons to relax and enjoy their drinks.
I went to Blackbird with a couple of friends for a meet up. They have a wide range of alcohols to choose from. I ordered double shots of gin with tonics and my friends went for the ginger beer. The pub gets really busy in the evenings especially on weekends, however this place serves a very happening and cosy vibe. Their staff is very friendly and quick to serve. They serve Pizzas, however they’re brought from the next door Neapolitan pizza shop - UNO Pizzas and they are super to taste. We ordered the margarita and hot honey pizza. Both the pizzas were yumm, however the hot honey was a super sweet pizza. One of my “MUST VISIT PUB”recommendations.

The pub as the name suggests has dark and dim light interiors all tables under candle light. The pub has a great selection of drinks. It's a great place to hand out with friends, and they provide decent selection of board games to enjoy as a group. They have limited food options. They get their food from Uno pizza from across the road. So not much options other than pizza. That being said pizza's are really good. Great place for pizza and drinks and to catch up with friends.
Vineet C — Google review
I’ve been a loyal customer of this pub for the last four years and have always loved the atmosphere and the memories I’ve made here. It really pains me to leave a one-star review, but my recent experience with the new security staff has left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. When leaving the pub with my friends, we paused briefly at the entrance to say goodbye. The security guard asked us to move, saying we were blocking the entrance, and we complied. However, as I turned to say a quick goodbye to my friends, the security guard mocked and mimicked me, which felt incredibly unprofessional. When I addressed his behavior and said it was rude, he replied, “Well, I warned you twice.” I believe a security guard’s role is to ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons, not to antagonize or mock regular customers who pose no threat to the business or other customers. I’ve never had issues at this pub before, and I hope the management will address this matter. If I see improvements in how customers are treated, I’ll be more than happy to update my review to reflect the pub I’ve come to love.

Lovely place. A lot of young folks, some funny board games and great selection of drinks. Loved the vibe only down side the room was quite big and it was really hard to understand each other because of the noise (which is quite unfortunate for playing board games) but would recommend!

Stellar spot for a pint and a pizza, the lads working there are all dead sound* and they have some great pizzas available to order in. Cracking outside area that gets the evening sun and good music playing, gets busy early so get in while you can. *One woman working there got genuinely pissed off that I asked to charge the phone but otherwise they're all legends 😅

Staff were all a bit strange. They kept asking us for ID even though we showed them. They asked every time we asked for a drink. In 28, it was actually a nice compliment if anything. They might have been drunk on the job or something I don't know.

Cozy atmosphere, beer that hits the spot, and pizza that somehow tastes better than my cooking, and that’s saying something. Honestly, I came for the beer, stayed for the pizza, and considered never leaving. What more could you ask for?

If you would like to get a table here is better to reserve in advance. For a Saturday was impossible to get something for 3 people. Is a bit loud if you would like to chat. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice.

A very rare combination of great food and amazing service was what I had here the other night. I find it really hard to find a menu with a selection of vegetarian options in Dublin and Farmer Browns didn't let me down, my Halloumi dish was divine as were the waiting staff

I have been to Farmer Browns a countless number of times and it is one of my favourite pubs. Their staff is so kind and prompt to their service. I recently ordered their garlic and cheese fries along with Gin and tonic and their infamous Five Lamps Beer. There’s something about Farmer browns that attracts me - I think it is their cosy and open atmosphere. I feel happy around here and this place drives beautiful conversations. It’s a gorgeous and lovely pub during summers. Ensure you grab a seat outdoors and enjoy the sun with a sip of alcohol and their FRIES. LOVE THEM! Their washrooms are also very well kept, clean and hygienic.

Lovely food - good veggie options, everything seemed freshly cooked and delicious. My other half had the Massey Ferguson burger which he said was fab and the chips are amazing! Spent a Tuesday evening here as a couple. We sat at the outdoor terrace which had a lovely vibe, our server was friendly and chatty and overall the atmosphere was great. The servers also check on you often and food/drinks arrive fast. It got pretty loud and lively at times, but you can still have conversation. We had the special pizza (which had tuna tartare) it was so unique and unlike anything we had before, we absolutely loved it. I can confidently recommend their house cocktails as well, we had a few of those and they were amazing (especially the Regina!) We will be back:)

Such a cool and hip vibe to spend time on Friday night. The pizza is not sure with the price. It has lovely doughs but also has mussy toppings on the top with a small size. And the most annoying point is actually that all the staffs keep asking to order more like 3 times in 10 mins. We just finished pizzas and is kinda full to be honest with no room for drinks yet. But it feels like forcing to pour liquid into my stomach and then became so lazy to not chat anymore. I tried their cocktails a long time ago and it was average. Anyway it’s just all about the atmosphere.

I adored this restaurant and beer garden. The vibe was wonderful there and the beer tent was such a fun vibe. The beer list had lots of options and the personal sized pizza were amazing! As a sour beer lover and vegan there were plenty of options!

The spot offers a wide selection of small-label ales, lagers, and stouts, making it a destination for beer enthusiasts.
We did not have a reservation, we messed that up. But the host was able to get us seated in under an hour. Honestly, best food drinks and service we have had in our 2 week tour of the UK, British Isles, and Ireland. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. The chefs outdid themselves. Had the fish and chips and the fish was so fresh and clean tasting, the chips were cooked perfectly, and the tartar sauce was outstanding. The duck wings had the best flavor, juicy and tender. The Bleu cheese dip was so unique and tasty. Our cocktails were amazing. Strong, but amazing! Overall an exceptional experience.

BAR 1661 is a trendy spot located in Parnell Square, Dublin. It's at the forefront of reviving poitin, Ireland's traditional moonshine. The bar has a stylish interior with leather-top stools and dark green wall paneling, creating a cozy atmosphere. Named after the year poitin was banned, BAR 1661 offers an array of cocktails showcasing this once-lost spirit.
Bar 1661 is truly a gem! They offer a fantastic range of cocktails, and my top pick was the “Parts Unknown.” I really enjoyed the welcome cocktails too. The only downside was that the music felt a little too loud at times.

Bar 1661 is IMHO the best cocktail bar in Dublin. It specializes in Irish Poitín, but has everything else you’re craving, too. Roberto and Brenden really did it up for us sitting at the bar, making us some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, letting us try some special tastes, and giving us excellent recommendations for other bars in the area. We also got to meet Qhuy, who was awesome and funny as well. I literally can’t think of a better, more well-rounded crew to man a bar than these guys. Irish pub
Swan Bar is a classic Victorian pub located in Dublin's city center. It features a marble bar counter, carved wooden back bar, and a cozy fireplace at the back. The ambiance is similar to other popular pubs like The Stags Head and The Long Hall. On quiet weekday nights, visitors can enjoy sitting by the fire with a pint or take advantage of the outdoor tables on sunny days. Additionally, there's an ultra-romantic cocktail bar upstairs for those seeking a chic atmosphere.
The Swan Bar is by far one of the nicest bars in Dublin - not just because of the great pints, delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and authentic decor but because the staff are amazing and some of the nicest people you will meet. We had a portion of our wedding day at the Swan Bar and Darren and the staff were so lovely and accommodating to us and our family for what we wanted. The bar has an authentic charm and is dog friendly which was key for our wedding day. Also beautiful pints of Guinness which Darren showed us how to pour so we could capture some fun photos in our wedding clothes! Darren and team reserved the snug for us so our parents and our dog could be comfortable in a private space, they brought over water for our dog and were genuinely so invested and caring towards us on our special day. The Swan Bar is somewhere you must visit, it is definitely one of our favourite places in Dublin. It's a place you feel welcome and not just a customer. Needed to buy a pair of running shorts…mission accomplished. Saw the Swan bar across the street. Perfect Ireland corner bar. Met every expectation. I first ordered a pint of Guinness the a Jamison Ginger. I thought I needed to make it a double. So I ordered double the Jamison. My bartender brought me a single Jamison Ginger. Then a double Jamison too. First I laughed then thinking about it…it was what I ordered. I drank it all 😊😉

Great bartender (Tom), Great Irish Pub. If you’re looking for the local flavor this is one of those spots. Brenda (very nice with a great smile) was very quick in taking care of us when away from the bar.
David W — Google review
I entered the bar and approached the counter, the man behind the bar walked to the opposite end away from me so I approached another server who took my order, then the man returned to say to me that the owner doesn't allow tracksuit bottoms but that he would allow me one drink (im 38 and was wear stylish bottoms, not dirty bottoms after a football match), I looked around the bar and one man was wearing shorts and another old man entering was wearing grey cotton tracksuit pants so I asked the man was the boy in shorts given the same speech as me about casual wear and he said no because it's a sunny day out and they expect people to dress more casually on a sunny day, the server behind the bar had his shirt hanging out of his trousers and no sign to be found in the bar regarding essential neat dress so I mentioned this and he wasn't happy. I naturally decided not to stay in a place i felt unwelcome. A private word or taken to one side would have been a better approach than schooling someone in middle of the pub floor in front of other patrons. Very unpleasant experience. Can't comment on food as didn't eat or drink and wasn't offered a menu.

It is my favorite pub in Dublin. Let’s be honest maybe my favorite Irish pub in the world. It is a beautiful Victorian pub that has been owned by the same family for years. 87 years. A definite rugby bar too. They pour a perfect Guinness and you can learn a lot about Irish whiskey here. I have been here several times including at the end of the pandemic and I have always received top notch service. I feel very comfortable coming in for a pint as a solo female traveler. There is a covered outdoor area if the weather is nice. If you don’t want to drink, they make a great flat white. My kids in their 20s love it too.

Cassidys is a long, narrow Victorian pub in Dublin with a standard selection of Irish whiskies and GAA memorabilia. The atmosphere is lively, with sweet tunes playing over the speakers and live traditional music featuring violin, harp, and bodhran. The bar offers Vocation, La Chouffe, and more on tap. Despite its narrow layout, there is plenty of seating throughout the pub.
Great stop in for a few pints on a Sat night. Seemed like a diverse group of people enjoying the live music, not just tourists. Wasn't a rowdy bar like others on the street. Seems like a great place to hang out with your party and listen to music.

Decent pub experience. Meaning you order drinks and pay at the bar. The only food available is a "toastie" (grilled ham and cheese sandwich). Nice interior and the place has some history. Narrow inside, but it goes back through three different areas. Standard barman service, but reasonably friendly. They have live music on certain nights.

Great spot on Camden Street! Cassidys has a lovely vibe—cosy interiors, friendly staff, and a good selection of drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for catching up with friends or starting off a night out. Prices are reasonable for the area, and service was prompt even when it got busy. Lost a star only because it can get a bit crowded on weekends, but overall a solid place to unwind. Definitely worth a visit!

Ashton's Gastro Pub, located in Clonskeagh, Dublin, boasts one of the largest and most stunning beer gardens on the south side. The upgraded outdoor space features live match screenings and a riverside setting. With ample room, a new outdoor bar, heaters, and covered areas for inclement weather, it's an ideal spot for alfresco dining and drinks during the summer. This modern gastropub offers quality fresh food and an extensive selection of craft beers.
Love the new design. I wasn't mad on Ashtons before as it was more like a restaurant. We had a few drinks in Tom's bar. The Guinness is great and one of the best I've had in the bars in the area. We didn't eat but the table beside us had the bacon butties which looked delicious. The sound was on for the football (champions league) which is good as a lot of pubs have annoying music playing while the match is on. There is live music, I believe on the weekend nights. Will definitely be back and could make this my new local bar.

My friends and I were so looking forward to our Sunday lunch at Ashton’s newly renovated Gastro pub . But we were sorely disappointed ! 4 Sunday roasts €34 and 1 monkfish on the bone €36 . Service was friendly but food was terrible. The monkfish yielded 2 mouthfuls and the roast beef dinner was jaw dropping downright awful. Yorkshire puddings were burnt and inedible ( check photos ) ref was so tough and served almost cold . Veg a disgrace and I meagre gravy also was cold after we had to as fir it 3 times and no horseradish sauce . They ran out out ! Empty pepper mill on table and it eventually arrived when we had decided this was not a meal to be consumed any further . Bill including a nice bottle of wine and 2 beers came to €261 . After a bringing all our issues to managers attention she apologized citing teething problems and when we next returned she would look after us with a complimentary drink !!! Out of the place I thought we would never get and guess what ? We certainly will not be back !

Dropped in for a bite to eat one Sunday to see this revamped pub, being a casual customer to the old pub, I was looking forward to checking it out, decided to have some bar food instead of the restaurant, bad mistake my wife had crab on toast, with duck fat fries, I had beacon on sourdough bread & fries, plus I had a pint of beer & my wife a glass of rose, couldn’t believe the price of the wine, actually thought it was a mistake, €10.80 unbelievable, the food was ridiculous a couple of crispy rashers on a two miserable pieces of bread toasted that it, & the crab, well not exactly fresh / fresh , won’t be going back any time soon. The young staff were excellent & courteous & the beer was cold & fresh. The new old scene IRISH STYLE BAR nice if it was down the country, not sure it fits in too well in this neighbourhood,

Liking the new decor and the staff are lovely when they actually approach you. The beer garden is very comfortable at this time of year but for some reason the floor staff will not approach you. If this is a policy, it should be shown somewhere. The bar food menu is very simple and the burgers are delicious but the fries on the side could Be individually counted - apparently small Portions are the policy. Overall, a nice place but still lots of room for improvement
Ken S — Google review
Love the new decor since they reopened recently, particularly Tom's Bar (big shout out to David, massive credit to the place, service review would be 2-star otherwise!) and the downstairs bar and outside seating area. Unfortunately, as of right now, that's all the positives. On my recent visit I found the downstairs staff to be very subpar - while I was quickly asked if I'd like a drink, after 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to go to the bar myself, only to be charged €15(!!) for a glass of wine! When ordering a glass of wine, it's typical to either be offered a wine list or ask what region you'd like etc...not just serve the most expensive! It also, took forever to get a glass of water which, again, I had to get from the bar after ordering twice at the table...all would be easier to forgive if it was busy, but it was very quiet. I also think the menu leaves a bit to be desired. When I first read the menu, I thought it was hand-written - nope, that's the font. The coaster menus are a great idea - short, neat and clear. Of course, that is very subjective, perhaps everyone likes the main menu. Also worth mentioning, I didn't eat, so can't say anything about the food. As of right now, I'd easily recommend Tom's Bar for a pint, but not the downstairs area. Should things change down there, so will this review...here's hoping!

Paddy Cullen's Pub is a delightful spot that captures the essence of an authentic Irish pub experience. With a vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff, it’s no wonder patrons rave about their visits. The menu features mouthwatering dishes like chicken tikka served with naan and popadoms, as well as generous portions of cod that diners can't stop praising. The pub also boasts live music after 10 PM, creating an inviting ambiance for those looking to unwind late into the night.
Grand place to be and enjoy of the real Irish pub, the guys here are son nice and aware if you need something. Our visit here is almost mandatory cause we work closely and having so many places to enjoy a great Guinness this is one of the chosen ones. Thanks a lot for the amazing service as always.

Loud but delicious food good service. The beef stew was delicious. The fries were brilliantly cut like celery for max dipping and carrying sauce or cheese.

The new menu is cracking. A big group of us arrived down and were served really quickly. The atmosphere is great, the staff are the best in the country and the prices are very reasonable for the area. I had the chicken Tikka and it was great. Came with a naan and popadoms and everything was really tasty. The cod looked huge too and the guys said it was fantastic too.

Lucky's is a laid-back pub and restaurant located in the historic area of The Liberties in Dublin. It's an ideal spot for those attending events at Vicar Street, offering a diverse experience throughout the day. The pub features a wide selection of beers, including local favorites like Liberties Pale Ale, as well as wines on tap and neighborhood-distilled whiskeys. What sets Lucky's apart is its charming pub garden where patrons can enjoy delicious wood-fired pizza from Coke Lane Pizza.
Ireland has a tradition of having incredible people. Lucky's premise is to have incredible people involved, making the place perfect. The first and most important thing I'll say is this: they are wonderful people who work there. I feel alive every time I visit. Moving on, the fact that it has different areas, such as the spacious entrance, the DJ room, and the outdoor area with the delicious pizzas, all of this gives you a choice of environments to feel comfortable. The crowd is positive, and the food—pizza and drinks—are excellent and at a great price. Great for tourists. If you've been to Saint Patrick's, walk around a bit and get to know Lucky.

We recently visited Lucky’s Pizza in Liberties, a lively bar and beer garden recommended by friends. The student vibe makes it a great spot for a casual, affordable evening out, but the dim lighting was a bit too dark for me. The real highlight was the pizza—crispy, fresh, and delicious. I tried Ryan’s pizza, and it was fantastic, especially when paired with a local draft beer. The pizza oven is located in the outdoor beer garden, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. The beer selection is impressive, offering a variety of craft options to suit different tastes. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. With its reasonable prices and great food, I’d definitely recommend Lucky’s for anyone looking for a vibrant yet affordable spot to enjoy pizza and drinks.

There is a sizable outdoor patio inside, the seating are functional but a little basic. Vibrant graffiti on the walls creates a really laid-back, youthful vibe. loud yet enjoyable music. If they hadn't all burned, the pizza that was a couple inches smaller than typical might have been pretty nice. When we questioned the staff about how the tables and the dinners works, they were really rude.

The best pub in Rathmines, and has stayed the same over the years. Great bar staff, Guinness and atmosphere, and the most reasonable prices in the area. Often there will be a trad session of local musicians on midweek. Always recommend Slatts.

It was St Patrick’s Day, not even 7pm, I was there with a few friends and we ordered a couple of pints. Without no reason the manager refused to serve us water and asked us to leave the place. I’m a woman, and he physically confronted me and pushed me out of the door. Such a pity that a nice place like this has such bad management and doesn’t tolerate people just having fun. They don’t deserve your money. Extremely rude especially with women.

Kodiak in Rathmines is a popular spot for young crowds, offering craft cocktails and a laid-back atmosphere. The place boasts cozy and relaxed vibes with cool design elements, making it perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends. Visitors can enjoy delicious pizzas and drinks while admiring the quirky art and unique architecture of the building. The dim lighting and comfortable seating create a welcoming ambiance, giving off a homely feel that adds to the overall experience.
Beautifully decorated pub with a surprisingly spacious interior. I always thought it looked small from the outside, but it’s huge once you step in. The décor is stunning and creates a great atmosphere. The pizza is very good, and I highly recommend trying their cocktails – they’re excellent. If you’re a smoker like me, you’ll appreciate the outdoor seating area. It’s well set up with heaters everywhere, making it perfect even in winter. The only downside is that it can get very busy, so I’d strongly suggest making a reservation in advance to avoid waiting for a table.

Food is great even there aren’t many options, but I’d say one of the best pizzas I had in Dublin, spicy pepperoni was actually great. I think service is a bit understaffed during weekends, we had to insist several times to get our orders taken and also for the bill. Also, we booked one month in advance and we got sit in a dark corner, not very comfortable to eat.

My friends and I had a lovely evening here, it’s easy to see why this place gets so much hype when the food truly delivers. The pizzas are individual-sized, one is more than enough to satisfy you. We ordered the Margherita, Vegan and Four Spice Formaggi. If you’re as obsessed with cheese as I am, I highly recommend this last one because you can actually taste the hint of honey in it, and it works beautifully with the cheese combo! We had prosecco with our meal, which was delightful😊 The atmosphere? A solid 100/10!! You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. Bonus points: it’s pet-friendly, so you’ll spot loads of adorable dogs. Shoutout to Ciarán, he was so kind and attentive the whole time😊 best waiter ever!

This is a bright different place. Pizzas are interesting and not the same old same old, served in a box and they disappeared very quickly. I had the Sausage and it was very well balanced. The potato one was yum too. However my cocktail was the real winner..... It was macha and berry and it tasted like more! This place is well worth a visit.

This place took us by surprise, excellent beers and selection, excellent pizza (the spicy bacon one especially), and the staff and servers were brilliant. I had dismissed it as a modern identikit place, but it was very good. Recommended

Unreal spot. The spicy margarita, violet spritz and blueberry matchas cocktails are fantastic. The Guinness and drinks they have on rotation are excellent. Ordered two toasties from the menu. Nothing came out as described. Both toasties were supposed to be sourdough but ended up being sliced pan. Ham and cheese was served with easy singles and no caramelised onions as advertised. The tune melt also came with easy singles and did not include red onions or mixed leaves. Honestly the toasties were worse than what the average person quickly puts together with a rushed breakfast at home. Won’t be coming back

I was in the pub and left for a meeting, I was gone maybe 30 minutes not even. I had come back to the pub and went in to use the toilet, a tall grey haired man called to me and brought me to the side. He said the pub was customer use only and I apologise and told him I was a customer I was there 30 minutes before hand which he confirmed he had seen me. So I got banned from a pub I've been going to for years because I didn't ask to use the toilet when I walked BACK inside.. like come on lads what is going on

I have bet €100 on horse number 2. Then went in the toilet and came back after 30 seconds to watch the race . The race was just ready to start . Then I saw my horse won the race . The profit was €450. Till that moment I was down €70. Liam may be looking polite but is actually a sneaky weasel, told me that "my bet was for the race before ". I knew he was lying because it was for that race and that race only . (Keep in mind before that win I gave him approx €15 tips for the beers ) He understood I know what is going on and welcomed me to the small room behind the bar and offer me €150 . I said "No The total amount is much more." I expected him to be polite and honest . Then he offer me €190. He basically thought that I am some idiot who cannot do the math of €100 by 9/2 . I took the money angrily with disgust knowing that he never gave me any receipt . Basically I cannot prove I won . But some people saw it with their eyes. That's why he asked me to come to the small room behind the bar The betting company will chase him for damaging their reputation . That was my first day of horse betting and I will never bet again on such sneaky systems and relying on the honesty of weasel, greedy and lying barmans like Liam .

Ranelagh Gardens Park, named after Lord Ranelagh, has a rich history dating back to the 1700s and is famous for being the site of Richard Crosbie's hot air balloon ride in 1785. Today, it offers a serene atmosphere with lush greenery and well-maintained paths, making it an urban oasis in the heart of the city. The park features a small lake with ducks and ducklings, as well as a playground for children.
A nice quite park to walk around with a coffee during lunch, very close to the city but you feel like you’re outside of it It also has some very cool history attached to it
Rian L — Google review
Visited in May during lovely weather. The park is peaceful and has some charm, especially with its historical background and leafy surroundings. It’s tucked away nicely in Ranelagh and makes for a quiet little stop if you’re in the area. However, we weren’t particularly impressed. It’s quite small, and while the pond and trees are pleasant, there’s not much else to do or see. Facilities are minimal — no toilets or cafés nearby — and the playground is very basic. Worth a quick look if you’re passing by on a sunny day, but not a destination in itself.
Oksana O — Google review
Lovely park with a nice little lake and a playground for the small ones. The little lake has many ducks, ducklings and some other nice birds I don't know the names. It's lovely on a sunny day but it doesn't have facilities like bathrooms. This is not good when having a playground as kids need to go to the loo every so often. Apart from that, it's a nice place.

Nice park, quite dirty and the lake needs a dredge, good for a walk around if you have children the playground full of adult rubbish and children's equipment has areas where covered in bird poo/old curries etc, could be a great resource with more bins for rubbish and a bit of attention from local council for clean ups
Eamon L — Google review
It's a nice park and I've been there many times. There is a new playground in the park and I'm sure the children will be thrilled. I think the playground was opened in earlier this year or maybe last year but I am not sure. It's very hard to remember you know.

A very small little park that's great for a little detour or to meet up with friends and family on a nice day. Has a little playground for children. The park is very well maintained and is a breath of fresh air for anyone who wishes to stop by at Ranelagh.
Raqeeb H — Google review
I have passed this park a thousand times but only discovered it today whilst meeting a friend. A truly well hidden gem. Situated at the start of Ranelagh village the Luas line runs over the entrance arch, with the Luas stop just across the road. The park marks the sight of Irelands first manned flight by Richard Crosbie in 1785, he flew in a hydrogen air balloon from Ranelagh, on Dublin's southside to Clontarf on the northside finally bridging the great northside/southside divide, and we have all lived happily ever since. The park has a great play park area for kids there too, it was busy so I chose not to take pictures of it, but great for young kids.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the pub, which, in addition to offering a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, stood out for the exceptional service provided by the team, taking the experience to a whole new level. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a warmth that immediately conveyed a sense of comfort and hospitality. What impressed me the most was the courtesy and efficiency with which each service was executed. The team appeared to be perfectly coordinated, ensuring that every customer request was handled swiftly, without ever losing charm or attention to detail. The waitresses not only knew the menu by heart but were also always ready to offer personalized suggestions based on the individual preferences of the customers. Furthermore, the team demonstrated a genuine respect for customers' preferences, never being intrusive or rushed. When I asked about the options for beers and drinks, they enthusiastically explained the different varieties, showing not only knowledge but also a deep affection for what they were offering. The politeness and professionalism were evident in every interaction, and the efficiency with which tasks were carried out ensured that the flow of the place was flawless, never feeling impersonal. Another highlight was their ability to manage a busy environment, always with a smile and the calm necessary to resolve any situation that arose. It’s rare to find such a well-trained team, but without a doubt, the distinguishing factor for those women was the combination of competence and a personal touch that made all the difference that night. In short, the service from this team not only complemented the experience of great food and drinks but also turned the visit to the pub into a pleasant memory that will certainly make me return.

Pub
Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Rathmines, Corrigans is a delightful pub that offers a serene escape from Dublin's bustling nightlife. Established in 1914, this cozy spot has become a favorite for those seeking a quiet pint and meaningful conversations with friends. The warm atmosphere welcomes you as soon as you step inside, making it an ideal place to unwind without the distraction of loud music or rowdy crowds.
Lovely haunt, savage pints, lovely staff

Delicious creamy pint. Keeping prices real. Proper boozer. Bar and lounge. None of yer highfalutin nonsense!
Loyes D — Google review
A corner of real Dublin hidden from the chaotic town, visiting regularly for almost 2 years, quite place, good beer, met local people. Bar tender super friendly Ray, Paddy, Paddy, John. If you find yourself around Rathmines don’t miss it but… don’t get in as a turist, get in as a visitor and catch the vibe. I’ll miss this place.
Michele C — Google review
It is a pretty good space. I recommend this plan for all the chess heads out the go there Tuesday evenings you can play with different gamers with a sip of your favourite drink.

Lovely local pub, always friendly and welcoming. Great pints

Lovely little pub in the middle of Rathmines. Quiet and perfect to meet and chat with your friends without all the loud music and people you'll find in most other pubs. Quite the hidden gem!

Restaurant
Fuppin Delish is a popular food truck located in Dinetown, run by a passionate husband-and-wife team with extensive experience in the food industry. They are known for their delicious tacos and other menu items like burgers, toasties, and wings. The owners take pride in their craft, even grinding their own masa for the tacos and offering unique specials alongside their regular offerings. Customers can also enjoy Mexican-inspired dishes such as a Mexican Tayto mashup.
My tacos were tasty, generously filled and really well made. I highly recommend them. Funnily enough, while I was trying to find the place, I overheard a stranger who was walking the other way tell her friend that “the place with the really good tacos is over there”. They weren’t wrong! Also, the bar you walk through to get to Fuppin Delish was lively, and the waiting staff were super attentive. So, you’ve got the whole package!

One of the best places... I been trying a lot of Mexican restaurants in Dublin... I think that this is one of the best.. pork tacos are amazing and it's a plus that they even make the tortillas 😊

I had Tasty tacos this week 100% Mexican style , and my partner had a gorgeous burger both delicious ! Highly recommend 👌.

Great nachos are full of flavour and very nice portions. I also tried the burritos. I enjoyed it a lot. Great atmosphere located in Humphrey's Pub.
Amapola C — Google review
What an awful tacos 🙄 I wasn't hoping for true Mexican food, I was at least hoping for something tex-mex like, but it was tasteless, quite expensive to what you receive. Very disappointing. If you've ever been in Mexico or in any authentic taqueria in Europe you would not like it.
Eliza D — Google review
In Little Mexico or 'Ranelagh', as its generally known, there are 3 establishments where you can exchange money for Mexican food. In my opinion, Mexican food shouldn't be overly expensive. It's not in its nature. Having said that, if the food here was as expensive as Parilla or Suertudo, it would still be worth it. Everything on the menu is authentic & delicious, even the burger which was a late addition to appease the hungry Humphrey's patrons. Highly recommended.

A real hidden gem! We went for their Sunday Service and everything was amazing. Their tacos are the best around too
Oisin — Google review
Great food at a reasonable price. It's hidden inside Smyth's pub. Tuesdays, they do 3 tacos for 10 euros. Generally not super busy. Great place to sit and eat food in the open.

If you're looking for a vibrant spot to soak in the pre-match excitement, Scruffy Murphy's is the place to be! This beloved pub serves as a gathering hub for You Boys in Green (YBIG) before Ireland's soccer matches at Lansdowne Road. With enticing drink promotions and delicious food, it’s an ideal setting to enjoy good craic on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Scruffy Murphy's is where You Boys in Green aka YBIG meet up before Ireland play soccer matchs at Lansdowne Road. There are drinks promotions, food and good craic before the game. Can't beat it for a sunny day on a Saturday afternoon. All Irish fans and fans of the opposition are welcome

Always thought this was a great spot. Good for after work drinks if you're in the area. That was until I went there for lunch and found electrical wire in my mash potatoes. I'd probably still go back for a pint but avoid the food.
Paddy D — Google review
Very nice pub. Popular with locals. It can get busy during lunch time and after work hours.
Hameed C — Google review
Nice bar, just off the main road, cozy environment, quite a few groups, and a nice atmosphere every day of the week.
Christophe Q — Google review
Nice, traditional pub off the beaten track. Come here to avoid the crowds or when Schoolhouse or Howl are packed.
Sebastian F — Google review
Large bar that drags in a lot of the office crowd from the area. Sort of does the job but isn't there better options in the area?

Pub
The Baggot Inn is a 50-year-old bar and pub that exudes chic with its leather seats and designer lighting. It has been a famous venue for music, hosting U2's first gig and attracting rock legends like Def Leppard, Spandau Ballet, Prince, and David Bowie. The place offers great food, friendly service, and Guinness on draft. Visitors can even pull their own pints at the bar while enjoying the great atmosphere.
A bar / restaurant that's a famous venue for music (U2's first gig), really good food, friendly service, and Guinness on draft.
Evan R — Google review
A very middle of the road place. Slightly more modern than the average in terms of decor but that is not to everyone's taste. One of the few bars in Dublin with the "pull your own pint" tables but the novelty quickly wears off.
Paddy D — Google review
We arrived at The Baggot Inn on Friday 11th October 2013 around 11am after our flight from Bham airport. We went to this particular pub purely through reviews. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely waitress who welcomed us into the Bar for drinks and lunch. We found the atmosphere to be very friendly and the people lovely. Unfortunately on the Monday as we were due to fly home we thought we would finish our trip off with a last drink in The Baggot before we left. As we arrived the lady (different from the one on our first visit) sat us down and handed us food menus, we informed her we only required a drink as we had a flight within a few hours. Once we had said this we didn't feel as welcome as we did on our first day. We were more or else informed that they weren't open for business yet. If we ever returned to Dublin The Baggot Inn is one place we wouldn't return to. It is such a shame considering our first impressions!!!!
