Thai restaurant
Nightmarket is a charming Thai restaurant located in Dublin, offering traditional and authentic Thai cuisine. The menu features classic dishes such as Gaeng Massaman Curry, Phad Thai Goong, and Tom Yum Goong, reflecting the diverse flavors of Thailand. The restaurant provides a family-friendly experience with a flavorful yet mild menu suitable for children. With its narrow dining area adorned in simple colors, Nightmarket captures the essence of a Bangkok noodle stall and quickly fills up with locals and visitors alike.
Had an amazing dinner at Nightmarket last Friday. First time we tried it and not the last! Everything was perfect. Just one thing though, the potatoes in my wife’s curry were not cooked enough so they were a bit hard but aside from that, everything was delicious! Highly recommend the banana rôti with condensed milk and the sticky rice with mango 👌🏻 😋

The best authentic Thai restaurant in Dublin. Staffs are so nice and welcome us with a warmly smile, they also gave us a perfect recommendation for the food. Highly recommended!!
Waraporn D — Google review
The restaurant is lovely. I had a very tasty vegan yellow curry. I enjoyed it very much, the staff is super friendly. I recommend it and will be back again.

We had an excellent time at nightmarket. The food is incredible, and can be made as spicy as one likes! Delicious flavors and the side room with tiles adds a cute ambience for a date night. Highly recommend!
Advait S — Google review
This was easily one of the best meals I had in Dublin. Flavourful, spicy, and warm in the belly I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Its a bit expensive, but the portions are big enough for two meals. I will always pay money for good food and will absolutely be back to this place again. In a city where this is so much bland and flavourless, this truly is a standout place.
Natalie B — Google review
I wasn’t going to write a review… but then the staff made it so that I had to! I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy, so I came back an hour later. Not ideal, but I really wanted to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. They eventually found me a table, and from there the experience was exquisite. The food was incredible, I had the mussels, the red curry duck, and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavor. The staff were so attentive, answered all my questions about the menu, and even recommended a perfect red wine pairing. The atmosphere was amazing, warm, lively, and inviting. Just make sure you book in advance ☺️
Gabby R — Google review
This is hands down our favourite restaurant! We have visited many times and it never disappoints. The authentic Thai food is absolutely incredible, the staff are fantastic and there’s always such a great atmosphere.
Katie G — Google review
I have been always looking for a good thai restaurant that would serve good drinks. But it seems that I can always get either or. Nightmarket was unfortunately no exception. Let’s start with the environment. I made a reservation for the tunnel room. When I arrived I was offered a table outside by a pile of boxes. Upon requesting a different table, I was sat in proper tunnel room. That was great. I must say the restaurant ambience is nice, most table are good and it looks great, except for the table I was offered initially. Now the drinks. They have excellent drinks. I was very pleased. I just think they could have been faster. It took a long time to get drinks for a small place. The food presentation was great but I thought the flavor wasn’t there. I had a Tom Kha Gai soup and it was great. The pork skewers are fantastic. Then I had the Miang Kham and it was disappointing. It was a very dry dish. Well presented but very dry and not to my taste. Then we had the pad thai, the mango salad and the papaya salad. The mango salad was great but the fried crab that comes with it was over fried and tasteless. We could not eat it at all. The pad thai was not bad but it was missing something. It wasn’t the best but again, I was disappointed with the flavors. The papaya salad was tasteless and probably the worst I ever had. I love papaya salads and usually I ask it to be made mild so that I enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors were not there. It was like it was missing something. Again the same pattern. Since the experience was not that great, we decided to skip desert. In conclusion, I believe they need to speed up the drinks and enhance the food flavors. Everything else was great. This place has the potential to be the best in town. Just not there yet.

Vietnamese restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Dublin, Pho Kim is a charming Vietnamese restaurant that brings the essence of Vietnam to Ireland. This beloved eatery specializes in crafting authentic dishes, with their namesake pho being a standout. The fragrant broth, paired with rice noodles and fresh herbs, transports diners straight to the bustling streets of Hanoi. For those seeking something with a kick, the Bun bo Hue offers a delightful twist on traditional pho, featuring beef and pork broth along with round vermicelli noodles.
Pho Perfection at Pho Kim on Parnell Street! As someone who’s traveled extensively and considers themselves an expert on Pho, I have to say that Pho Kim on Parnell Street in Dublin is a hidden gem! From the moment I took my first sip of the broth, I knew I was in for something special. The broth was crystal clear, yet packed with a depth of flavor that can only come from hours of careful simmering. It had just the right balance of savory, aromatic spices and a delicate sweetness that made it truly exceptional. The ingredients were as fresh as they come—crisp herbs, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked noodles. The portions were incredibly generous, yet still felt light and balanced. The accompanying bean sprouts mint chili and lemon were perfectly fresh also. Every bite was a testament to the care and authenticity that goes into their dishes.
Loyes D — Google review
Nice little Vietnamese restaurant with great staff. It's a family business. I was given good advice on what to eat and it was very tasty. Great summer rolls with prawns with a very tasty peanut sauce and then a really great pho with beef and dumplings. Thank you for the great lunch. Highly recommended and would love to come again.
Anja W — Google review
I want to bathe in the pho broth. I got the pho tom (shrimp pho) and enjoyed every bite and spoonful. I brought my mom who has never had Vietnamese and she really enjoyed the chicken curry with noodles. The downstairs was pretty packed (a good sign) so we were sat upstairs and there was plenty of room. Great spot!
Emmy C — Google review
The taste is acceptable and on average. You can have a try if you want to eat Vietnamese food in Dublin We arrived at 11:55am and still 5 mins before it opened. We looked at the menu outside and then a waitress switched the closed to open. This we went in and sat down. We felt a bit hot because the store just opened. Another waitress came in at noon. When she helped us to order food, she said she would open window. Then she said the store normally opened at noon. They saw us outside so they opened a bit earlier for me. I have not complained anything at all and just need some fresh air. Also we didn't ask them to open five minutes earlier for us. I have no clues why she was unhappy and thought we seem to cause issues here.
Wilson M — Google review
I don’t usually write reviews but coming here gets each better with each bite. It’s authentic Vietnamese in a peaceful, intimate environment and great service.
Sophie ( — Google review
Food here was lovely, ordered the beef pho - was amazing and came with a decent amount of garnishes. Spring rolls were 👌🏼. Service was great and the workers there are lovely. 10/10
Alicia A — Google review
Awful experience at Pho Kim (€33 for beef noodle soup and spring rolls). I ordered takeaway and trusted them because they were quick, but I should’ve checked before leaving. The spring rolls came in a paper bag with the sauce loosely closed — it spilled everywhere, making them soggy and unappetizing. The noodles were packed in plastic bags mixed with hot red peppers (I can’t eat spicy food due to my diet). They were supposed to include peppermint leaves but gave me coriander instead, which completely ruined the flavor. The soup container wasn’t sealed properly, and some spilled in the car. Overall, both the soup and spring rolls were a 2/10 at best. Definitely not worth €33. I used to go there often when I lived nearby, but something has definitely changed — maybe new management. Unfortunately, I won’t be back, and I’ll make sure to let my contacts know about this disappointing experience.
Ruben G — Google review
It’s best Vietnamese restaurant in Dublin so far. Very fresh, healthy and tasty food, not using much dairy or oil, having interesting textures, and making use of herbs and vegetables. served in big portions. It’s a combination of five fundamental tastes : sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and spicy.

Dillinger's is a popular spot known for its locally sourced seafood, meat, fresh pasta, and craft cocktails. It offers an American-influenced menu with brunch favorites like pancakes and steak n eggs, as well as unique dishes such as Shakshouka. The restaurant also hosts Steak Wednesdays where guests can customize their Black Angus beef cuts. After a recent revamp, Dillinger's now serves polished small and large plates filled with finesse and flavor.
The food was delicious and friendly staff. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the place and will be back! Oysters fab! A few more choices would be nice for mains and dessert.

A lovely spot for brunch with delicious food and friendly staff. However, we specifically chose this place for the cocktails and were a bit disappointed. We had understood that the 2-for-1 cocktail offer was available on Sundays, but it turns out it only applies if you’re seated at the counter. Since we were at a table to enjoy a meal, we couldn’t take advantage of the promotion, which was a bit frustrating. Anyway, if you are not going for the cocktails, the food was nice.
Andreína G — Google review
I really liked this place! Good menu, and the food was excellently prepared. We ordered bottle of wine so I will def have to come back for the cocktails. The staff was very friendly (shoutout to Stephen for a great first week!) and the vibes were cool and lively. Prices were fair, I thought.
Stephanie C — Google review
A classic spot in Ranelagh. Great service, chilled atmosphere, beautiful music and a good menu for brunch. Quite a variety of all the right offerings given my personal taste. From oysters, to shakshouka to avocado on toast....
Elisabetta R — Google review
Excellent brunch spot, solid menu well trained staff and relaxing atmosphere. Went recently with the family and was pleasantly surprised. Traditionally known as a hip spot for the kids to brunch was worried we would be out of place but the staff were welcoming and friendly. The burger is the recommendation, while the po’ boy is tasty it lacks impact. Pancakes are dependable, but the real star of the show is the staff. Wont make it a regular thing but will definitely be back !

The food was delicious and served in a nice way. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the place.

Excellent dinner here recently. The smaller starter dishes were probably the highlight for us. Oysters were excellent. Tuna tostadas were delicious. Great cocktails as well, and friendly service.
Andrew K — Google review
I came here for an early Sunday brunch with a large group of friends and a few kids. We reserved ahead and our table was ready when we arrived. The place is nice and kid friendly, however the service was bad and the food nothing to brag about. When we arrived we started with ordering coffee and we were surprised by the lack of coffee options (only black coffee is available) and the time needed to get a couple of carafes of coffee! Also the mugs provided are thick and make coffee cold. I had the crab cakes Benedict and there was so much filler that I could not feel the flavor of crab and the poached eggs had semi-hard not runny yolks.

Nestled in Dublin's charming antiques quarter, Two Pups is a delightful gem within the 74 Francis Street Collective. This cozy café not only serves up exceptional coffee but also boasts a thoughtfully curated food menu. One standout dish is their vibrant avocado toast, artfully presented on Levain sourdough and enhanced with garlic butter, pickled vegetables, and toasted peanuts—a true treat for the taste buds!
Beat brunch in all of Dublin. Food came quickly and we didn’t even have to reserve any seats. The pastry’s were great. The best Shakshuka I’ve ever had in my life and the sourdough is so unbelievably fluffy and soft. The waiters all had really cool and unique style. They all seemed really happy to be there and jolly which we love to see. Definitely coming back for more so sad I don’t live in Dublin though.

It was quiet at 9 am in the morning. We had to figure out the routine. Get a table - go back and order or do it with QR code and mention your table number. Nice selection of breakfast pastries and croissants. The avocado and egg was delicious. Cappuccinos were not hot enough - they didn’t seem to be at any place so…Nice place for a brunch with good ambiance and delicious food. Music was different. Pictures reflect almond croissant and a morning bun.
M C — Google review
Super spot at the Kevin St end of Francis St - a street which has changed so much since I was a student in the 90s. Now it's home to buzzy neighborhood cafes and cool pubs such as Liberty Belle. Two pups is a cafe by day and then pivots to a wine bar at night. If the cafe is anything to go by, the wine bar is a must visit on my next trip. My Turkish eggs were first class and the granola was equally delicious, the peanut was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and efficient. Give this place a try - it's worth every penny.

If I could give a million stars I would!! Staff are amazing , food is spectacular , shout out also to the bold boy bakery ppl the pastries are unreal!! Coffee is soooooo good always a treat having square mile on bar! Shakshuka is to die for myself and my friend always get it!! Thank you guys yous make my day every time I come in!!!

We stayed at the Hyatt Liberties across the street. The coffee/espresso was largely undrinkable, the yoghurt/fruit/peanut butter was delish. Our favorite coffee place in Dublin City was Insomnia Coffee...great on the way in at the airport, and great the next day after trying 2 Pups. I love coffee/espresso, and have over 300 days in Italia enjoying it there consistently...plenty of the **** hotels we stay in there use commercial Illy or Nespresso machines/coffee which provide a great and consistent result. Food for thought.

Wow… this place really knows how to do a breakfast by far one of the best in Dublin and a special shout out to Karen who looked after us. Such a cool quirky place with the best food, pastry’s and coconut lattes! Highly recommended and looking forward to eating there again when I’m in Dublin.
Leebow — Google review
Absolutely loved Two Pups! The food was incredible. I ordered the Oyster Mushroom Brioche and honestly didn’t expect a vegetarian dish to be that full of flavour. It almost tasted like chicken! The Shakshuka was another highlight - rich, perfectly spiced sauce served with warm, fresh bread. We finished with an apple caramel cruffin, and it was pure heaven, totally finger-licking good. There’s usually a queue outside, but we only waited about 5 minutes (especially easy if you’re just two people). Totally worth it though, highly recommend this place!

We were in the neighborhood and decided to drop in for a coffee and a small bite. Unfortunately, for us, it was shortly after 3pm and the cafe closes at 3:30pm. We would have loved to try out one of their dishes on the menu but settled quickly for a coffee and one of the last croissants and morning buns. Both were delicious and left us wanting for more. Hope to be back to sample some of the dishes when we are in Dublin again.

Delivery Restaurant
Nestled in the charming Ranelagh district of Dublin, Michie Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant that has been serving delectable sushi and noodle dishes since its inception as a take-away and catering service in 2007. The family-run establishment takes its name from the Japanese word "michie," which means filled with smiles and laughter, reflecting the joy they derive from seeing patrons relish their award-winning sushi.
Lovely spot kind of hidden in Ranelagh Super friendly & charming staff and I mean super ! Sushi was extraordinarily fresh and absolutely superb! Ramen was good meat was superb but I have had better ramen elsewhere in town and it can be more filing i wish they had Japanese beer on tap also would have been perfect mentioned same to Staff and they are very open and appreciative of any suggestions will be back for sure ! Thank u !
Karim A — Google review
I have been absolutely gumming for sushi the last while. I follow a couple of Japanese restaurants on Insta and their photos has had me increasingly titillated. For a restaurant that is Instagram used very well as it literally gets them a hungry person in the door. So tonight, I ordered online from @michiesushi in Ranelagh. Himself got the tuna and salmon mixed sushi platter and some gyoza. I got everything you see on this plate, 2 tubs of wakame and a mochi for dessert. I'm no expert in Japanese food but I look for certain things when I try a new restaurant: the quality of the sushi rice, the freshness of the ingredients and that clean, sweet flavour you can get from really great sushi. It's all present here with the added bonus that the nori (the seaweed wrap) used was better than any I have had in Dublin before. It was soft and added to the cone rather than just set its boundaries. Highlights of the meal were the spicy tuna cone, the wakame, the sashimi and the mochi, which I dare say may have been made on the premises, which was a completely new experience from me. On top of that, when you order through their website for the first time, you are offered a 20% discount. I am completely blown away.

Lovely intimate place, very nice and friendly owners, explaining the wide ranging offers. Best sushi ever: our Japanese friend was happy 😋

Fried gyoza over fried and hard. Sushi very spicy (7 spices are mentioned, but not that they are hot). Fried fish in sushi not freshly prepared and more skin than meat. See the pic. Sorry but I couldn't eat that!

Restaurant
Nomo Ramen is a cozy spot located just off Camden Street in Dublin, offering a variety of authentic ramen options. The restaurant imports its main ingredient from the same supplier as the renowned Momofuku chain. With eight types of ramen on offer, including chicken-based broth noodles, pork, and two vegan options, there's something for everyone. The vegan broths are particularly noteworthy for their flavorful and comforting qualities.
Amazing Ramen, Gyoza, and Bao in Dublin! I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic spot in Dublin, and I was genuinely impressed. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — comfort food at its finest. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way they should be. And the bao? Soft, pillowy, and packed with delicious fillings that melted in your mouth. The location itself is great — cozy, welcoming, and with a modern yet relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you're a local or just visiting Dublin, this place is a must-try if you're into authentic, high-quality Asian street food. Highly recommended!

Best ramen ive had for sure! Very different from everywhere else ive been. The broth is super creamy with amazing umami, the egg is always perfectly cooked. Both the soup and the mazemen are to die for!!
Annabell C — Google review
The Ramen here were really good. I have enjoyed the Kimichi Ramen, which were slighlty spicy. We did have to wait Outside slightly, as there was some sort of Reservation Queue we were not aware off but the short wait was worth it. Best for 1-4 people, more of a feelgood modern vibe Instead of fancy laid bag dining. The open view kitchen is great for the asthetic and transparency, but does create some noise. Lovely Overall, will come Back again! The Staff were super friendly with us too
Shieldranger1 — Google review
It smells delicious as soon as you walk inside. The menu is simple, with a nice selection of ramen, both with and without broth. There are no bookings, so wait time is sort, as the food is served quickly.
Oliver M — Google review
Bao were great. We had asked for the ramen + 2 gyoza deal but the gyozas never came. The classic ramen was good but a bit lacking. The soy chicken ramen had more flavour. Good portions. The food wasn't anything crazy and I wont necessarily be rushing back.
Izidro R — Google review
First of all, the food was great. I got the ramen deal with gyozas, the taste and texture of the ramen were quite authentic. However, the service fell a bit short, the waiter told me to sit by the bar table and there were stacks of menus and a laptop on the seats (unorganized) he was too busy to even show me a available seat. Didn't felt welcomed, but if you're looking for a quick bite, this place suffices.
Ivan L — Google review
SAN DIEGO RAMEN was amazing! The noodles were perfect and the broth full of flavour. Clean spot, cute bear mascot, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend in Dublin!
Travel — Google review
Had a really disappointing experience today.I hyped this place up and dragged my friend to try. First of all menu change was disappointing. Only offered chicken broths or vegan and no tontoksu which feels like a crime in itself. We got the OG ramen with chicken broth and it was served so lukewarm and went completely ice cold within 10 minutes which is not good enough considering it wasn’t even that busy. Only one of the waitresses in day delivered a friendly service however the service from other waitress was not. whenever we tried to ask questions about the menu or ask for anything in general it was an uncomfortable experience. the cooks looked like they didn’t want to be there at all it was just an overall grim atmosphere to dine in such a small place with limited menu it just wasn’t good enough. Please do better :(

I have lived in Ranelagh as an expat for 3 years. Mortons was just 5 minutes away from my place and it had everything you’d need. The bakery items are exceptionally tasty. It’s been a year I moved away from Ireland and one day I’d definitely go back just to have their fresh sponge cake again. And the chocolate croissant that just flies off the shelf in the morning is to die for! So many mornings I used to just grab one while I was on my way to work. Love from Dubai 💕

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the great service! I have recently ordered a hamper (a surprise selection) along with fresh flowers. All my requests were taken on board, flowers were lovely and lasted a really long time. Food was delicious. My friend really enjoyed it and the hand written note was a really nice touch. Thank you again guys!

I recently tried Saffron Gold saffron, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor it brings to my dishes. This saffron is vibrant, aromatic, and adds a depth of flavor that truly elevates my cooking. From the moment I opened the packaging, I could tell this was a premium product. The threads were deep red and had a wonderful, rich aroma. I've used saffron from various brands before, but Saffron Gold stands out in terms of its potency and freshness.I used it in several recipes, including a classic paella and a saffron-infused risotto, and each time, it imparted a beautiful golden hue and a distinct, luxurious flavor. Even a small amount went a long way, which is a testament to its high quality.Another highlight is the packaging. It’s both practical and elegant, ensuring the saffron stays fresh and protected. I also appreciate that Saffron Gold sources their saffron sustainably, adding an extra layer of value to their product.Overall, I highly recommend Saffron Gold saffron for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and exceptional taste to their culinary creations. It’s worth every penny and truly a cut above the rest.

This place is great for homemade soups and ready meals made fresh on site, they have some lovely vegetarian options (if they could bring in a few more new vegetarian options that would be great) but even the ones they have are top class, the produce is fresh and clean. I need to say a special word about Mandy, she is a dying breed of retail worker, it's just so nice to see there are still people in retail that actually care and go above and beyond to help the customer and are not just there for the paycheck and to get their shift over, it's so refreshing and in my opinion getting rarer all the time, I can't praise this place highly enough. There's just one thing I need to mention and that the coin meters around the shops location don't work, I've been onto the council about it and still no joy but you can use payzone or parking tag.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Dublin, Red Torch Ginger is a contemporary haven for those craving modern Thai cuisine infused with Southeast Asian flair. This colorful restaurant offers a delightful array of dishes that highlight seasonal and sustainable ingredients sourced from local Irish suppliers. Diners can indulge in an extensive à la carte menu featuring favorites like crispy sea bass, drunken prawns, and aromatic Thai curries, all served in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for any occasion.
Very satisfying meal. We had the lunch deal so it was a bargain. The food came very fast even if the place was packed. The staff is also very nice. The only weird thing was that diet coke was not included in the deal for some reason, probably high demand. We had the coconut wings, pork belly and the yellow and green curries with duck and beef. Wish the curries were a bit spicier.

Red Torch Ginger offers an exceptional Thai dining experience with vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. I tried the vegan Pad Thai with tofu, which was perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and full of umami. The Crispy king oyster mushroom bites starter was rich and flavourful with the sauce, while the chicken wings were crispy and well-seasoned. The drunken prawns were must try with the sauce. The fried rice was fragrant and satisfying, rounding out a fantastic meal. They had various drinks choices. The presentation and service were top-notch, making it a must-visit for Thai food lovers. Highly recommended!

We didn't have reservations, but they were able to seat us anyway (Sunday evening, 7pm). Food, atmosphere and service were all great. My sweet chili chicken stir fry had a little too much sauce that sogged the chicken a bit, but that was the only complaint. Recommend upgrading from plain white rice to the noodles... They were delicious. We also had the Korean chicken wings which also had a ton of sauce on them, but they were really good.

This is a great spot for Thai food in the heart of Dublin city, just minutes from Grafton Street. There is a wide menu of vegan dishes vegetarian dishes, stir fries dishes, noodle dishes, curries, soups and salads. They also do a wide cocktail menu and mocktail menu. I would highly recommend their spring rolls, Vegan Vegetarian Stir Fry, their Coconut Cooler and the raspberry and coconut cheesecake. The food was delicious, so quick and there was a lovely chilled vibe here.

Came here expecting outstanding food. Left without finishing my meal. The front of house staff are kind and nurturing. The servers less so. Ordered RTG Vegetable Stir fry with tofu instead of mushrooms. It's less than ordinary. With 10% tips, I payed €23.05. A bit on the high end for such a meal that under delivers. Not going to come back.

First time dining today as a family of 4, kids aged 8 & 11. The service from waiting staff was outstanding, the food was simply glorious, fresh and so tasty. Lemonade was really tasty and for a dublin restaurant the prices were really good. Cannot recommend enough will return whenever we can.

An absolute highlight at Temple Bar, Dublin, is the freshly cooked dishes. The vegetables are crunchy, and the spices are authentic! I love the variety of vegan options! We visited the Red Torch Ginger twice during our short stay in Dublin to enjoy a proper meal.

Breakfast restaurant
Brother Hubbard (North) is a charming independent cafe known for its top-notch homemade baked goods, seasonal lunches, and coffee. With multiple locations across the city, it's a great spot for vegetarian mezze and creative brunch choices. The cafe has gained popularity since its establishment in 2012 and has expanded to include Sister Sadie (now Brother Hubbard South) and Brother Hubbard Ranelagh.
Brother Hubbard stands out as one of the best breakfast spots I have visited anywhere. This Dublin café is thoughtful, flavorful, and genuinely memorable. On my recent visit, I ordered the pulled pork Benedict—an inviting twist on the classic that more than delivered. The pork was tender and well seasoned, and the hollandaise tied it together beautifully. I also had a ginger fruit scone, which was simply delicious. Its crisp exterior gave way to a soft, warm center, and the ginger added just the right note of spice and sweetness. The atmosphere at Brother Hubbard matches the quality of its food—welcoming and lively, with staff who let you enjoy your meal at a comfortable pace. For anyone visiting Dublin, I recommend putting Brother Hubbard on your list. Whether you are a brunch regular or simply want a good start to your day, this place will not disappoint.
Sean M — Google review
Last weekend my girlfriend and I went to Brother Hubbard for the first time and it was amazing. We were welcomed really well. Even though there was a queue, it was fast and we got a table quickly. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. There was also a man working with a big smile all the time — later I saw a book and realized he was on the cover! The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. The only thing is that the Mimosa was a bit too strong for 11 in the morning hahaha Just one more point: it would be nice if the staff wore uniforms, to make them easier to identify I totally recommend this place!

There is a sign at the entrance that says "best breakfast in Ireland". When I was being seated I mentioned that to the person who led me to my table and he said that it was something that someone mentioned. He wasn't aware that there was a sign that mentioned that. I ordered a decaf Americano with milk on the side. Then I waited to order. It took a while for a waitress to come and ask for my order and when she asked me if I was ready I said "I want the basic with bacon". Then she left and I waited again. Then I noticed that people asked for a coffee and a pastry and then waited and asked for their food. The coffee and the pastry was like an appetizer. My food arrived and then I started eating. After the first bites I realized why the sign is at the front. In my opinion this is the best breakfast I have ever tasted in Dublin and other places I have visited in Ireland. The service may not be the greatest but the breakfast is amazing. It is my favorite place for breakfast so far and I will continue to go here for as long as I am in Dublin. I didn't enjoy the decaf Americano as much but next time I will order orange juice instead. Overall I highly recommend Brother Hubbard for breakfast. Go and visit. I know you will enjoy the food here.

I really like this place — I’ve been here before and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere and service are always great. However, today I tried the Irish breakfast, and it wasn’t as good as I expected. I think it could be improved, and the coffee was a bit too bitter this time. I know you guys can do much better because you usually do! Looking forward to coming back and seeing it back to its usual great standard.

OMG this place is a must if you need fresh, tasty and vibrant food. The 3 salads change every two weeks. I got the broccoli and cauliflower with the coleslaw and a lentil & carrot. Absolutely divine!!! The pulled pork benedict was delicious also according to my boyfriend. Also had a rose, raspberry and apple drink- very refreshing.

Went in for brunch, had a table booked so we’re seated very quickly que was about 20 minutes if we didn’t book. Our order wasn’t taken for ten minutes. Got our coffees ten minutes after that coffee was nice food didn’t come out for another 20 minutes so the coffee was well gone. Food was ok plates came out dirty underneath with some sauce from the waiter carrying them I assume. There is a massive hype for it but the eggs came out hard which killed it for me. We might give it another go next time we are in Dublin but for the hype it has we didn’t have a pleasant experience I think I saw 7-8 waiters maybe they need more kitchen staff

Great breakfast: The freshly baked scones were a highlight for sure. Otherwise interesting twists on dishes that you wouldn’t expect but taste amazing.
Lynn M — Google review
The absolute best food I've had since going vegan in 2023! It looked colourful, smelt divine, and tasted fabulous! It was quite busy throughout the time that we were there but the staff never looked harassed and happily answered my questions. They have a cookbook that I will be ordering on payday. It has a lovely open, contemporary feel to the place and despite how big it is, due to its layout, it doesn't have that 'canteen' feel that some large restaurants can have. The menus are regularly changed too. I most definitely recommend Brother Hubbard if you're ever in Dublin and want some really great food, vegan or otherwise..

Hamburger restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Bunsen is a popular burger joint with multiple locations in Dublin, as well as outposts in Cork and Belfast. Known for its simple yet delicious approach to burgers, the eatery offers a compact menu featuring hamburgers and cheeseburgers made with prime beef patties, specially baked buns, and classic toppings. The chain's popularity has led to its expansion across the city and suburbs.
Best burger I ever had! Very short menu but you do not need any more if you are coming to eat burger and that's what you get. Medium cooked patty was perfection. One small thing to improve is the chips, sweet potato chips was crunchy for first 5min but when get little cooler starting to get soggy. Overall 9.5/10 Strongly recommend if you like good burger.
Eugenijus J — Google review
The place was packed and me and my friends had to takeaway the burger but it was still soo delicious! I recommend going to a nearby park to sit and enjoy the sun but the only bad thing is that the seagulls were vicious and kept coming to us. The portion of the fries was really generous too!
Qinying — Google review
Without a doubt the best burger in Ireland is at Bunsen. The Bunsen here is always consistently good, the service is fantastic, and great food. I love the way they always ask you if you want vinegar with your fries. Who wouldn’t?
Andrew K — Google review
American-approved American style burger - actually I’ve been missing a big juicy burger like this because right now smash burgers are what’s trending in the states. The bun is incredible and can handle the juicy meat, cooked to medium perfectly to really appreciate the angus. Great ratio of toppings to burger. Travels well.
Jessie F — Google review
I had a fantastic experience at this burger place. The burger was cooked perfectly medium, just as I requested, and seasoned really well. It had that comforting, “home-like” feeling with every bite. The cheese melted beautifully and balanced the flavors, while the fresh tomato and tangy pickles rounded everything off perfectly. The fries were hand-cut, which I really appreciate, though towards the end there were quite a few smaller pieces. Still, the taste was excellent. A nice extra touch is that water is provided free of charge, which is something you don’t always see. Overall, a place I would gladly return to for a satisfying and authentic burger experience.

Simple, juicy and downright delicious. No much words for Bunseen. No fuss, just proper burgers. Big fun of the vintage style vibe, and the friendly and chill staff welcoming us. One of the places that never disappoint when the burger cravings hit or I'm just hungry and I see one near by.
Filippos D — Google review
I can say this is one of the best burger spots I've ever been to. I am a huge burger fan and have tried lots of burger places over the years. So, when I first came across a review recommending this place, i didn't expect to discover another pefect burger. But it turned out the review was absolutely right. this place was fantastic. What i liked the most was how well-balanced the overall flavor was. I ordered my patty meidum, and it went perfectly with the other topings. There are many good burger places out there, but I often find their burgers a bit too greasy, which makes it hard to finish. On the other hand, bunsen burger didn't give me that heavy, oily feeling. I enjoyed every bite until the end. I can tell it is even comparable to the burger I had at Gordon ramsay's restaurant. As for the fries, I went with sweet potatoes fries, which are known as their signiture side. Personally, I don't think they paired well with the burger. the sweetness distracted from the burger's flavor. I would recommend going for the regular fries intead. Nevertheless, this minor flaw wasn't enough to affect my overall rating.
Kangseok C — Google review
Super tasty burgers paired with thin, crispy shoestring fries. I love the simple menu—it makes choosing easy. The medium-cooked patties, combined with their signature sauce, create an amazing flavor. Everything is perfectly balanced, making each bite delicious and satisfying.

Umi Falafel is a modern cafe that offers fresh falafel, Middle Eastern meze, and salad dishes. The restaurant has a contemporary and hipster vibe with dark, sleek decor. It's a hybrid between a fast-food takeaway and a restaurant with table service. The entire menu is vegetarian, with many vegan-friendly options available. In addition to their specialty falafel, they offer traditional mezze, salads, sandwiches, meal deals, sides, and platters.
7pm arrived - busy - thus slow service - food was amazing - had the Palestinian falafel - then a bit hungry, so had the umi burger - the only thing to note the burger is just 3 falafel pieces - I expected 1 falafel patty given the description on menu. Final point, the pocket was not available, so they gave the falafel in a wrap - but without warning me - which was not difficult to inform me prior to serving.

Pretty solid lunch place. Didn’t leave feeling heavy which was nice. I think I wish the portions were a little bigger based on price. Service was great. I LOVED strangely enough the caramelized onions in my bowl. I also really enjoyed the egg plant. Which I got double of that. Overall it was pretty good. It is a plant based protein restaurant so no meat.

They also have a mini burger now. You can also get build your own bowl which is great. They also have umi meal options at 15.5 euro. Lentil soup is also nice and they have kids meals also. Salads 🥗 are cost effective and full filing and must try. I personally like their Falafel bites of 4 large Falafel filled with cheese. Nice location and open till evening 8 so get your delicious Falafel meal and sandwiches 🥪 😋

Very delicious falafel pockets. I once ordered a wrap, but I much more prefer the pocket. The pocket has less bread and feels it has plenty of nice things inside, whilst the wrap is bigger but they probably put the same amount of food inside and it feels a bit empty. Overall, great place.

The restaurant, which opened in 2007, is housed within two beautiful Georgian houses and features a modern Japanese theme complemented by 19th-century Japanese artwork. With its Far Eastern vibe, the old-school cafe serves authentic Japanese food, including options for vegans and vegetarians.
The most popular Japanese restaurant in Dublin lives up to its name. The decor and ambience gives a very premium feel yet looks cozy. Decent overall experience — not great, not bad. The Beef Ramen didn't cover my expectations, but staff handled it fast and professionally, replaced my dish. Thank you Yamamori North City staff!

Overall, good place to eat. Mixed opinion about dishes. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Appreciated the decor, very nice ambience. My husband loved the bento box, lots of flavor and good quantity. Not overly salty. I was looking forward to the Tatsuta Age, crispy ginger battered chicken breast with teriyaki sauce and wok-fried vegetables. The vegetables were lovely - fresh, crisp and not overcooked, but because the chicken was set on top of the veggies (a specific serving choice?), it was quite soggy on the bottom and unfortunately on the top as well due to the teriyaki sauce. I couldn't really taste any ginger either. It seemed the batter needed to be cooked longer, though the chicken seemed done; check the unaltered pics, kind of pale looking batter on edges as opposed to brown and crisp. We would probably try again, but I would personally avoid any breaded dishes.

A Hidden Gem for Japanese Food Lovers Yamamori North City is one of Dublin’s most inviting Japanese restaurants and a perfect place for families or friends to enjoy authentic food together. For around 200 euros, a group or family can easily spend the day tasting a wide range of dishes, from sushi and ramen to grilled specialties. When you walk past the entrance, you might never guess how warm and cozy it feels inside. The interior mixes traditional Japanese style with a relaxed, modern Dublin vibe, making it comfortable for both lunch and dinner. The food isn’t too spicy, which makes it great for all ages. The ramen is rich and flavorful, while the sushi and rolls — especially the Ebi Dragon — are beautifully presented and fresh. Pair your meal with a chilled Japanese beer or a glass of sweet plum wine for the perfect finish. Overall, Yamamori North City offers great value, friendly service, and genuine taste — a must-visit spot for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine in Dublin.

Really enjoyed the food, our choices were delicious, fresh and tasty. And they perfectly matched our taste. The place is spacious, the air quality is good. Despite the open kitchen, there's no bothersome smell.
Nafiye A — Google review
I was very disappointed by the sushi here. The dumplings and ramen were tasty but the sushi was a crime. I ordered a rainbow roll. What should have been simply crab inside was a crab salad in mayonnaise. On top of the roll is assorted fish and then a giant dallop of mayonnaise again. Not spicy Japanese mayo, just plain mayonnaise. Even when I scraped it off, it completely ruined the roll and all I could taste was mayonnaise and not the fish at all. The salmon sashimi was good so I know they had good sushi but they destroyed that roll. Sushi- 1 star Sashimi- 3 stars Gyoza- 4 stars Ramen- 4 stars Ambiance/restaurant- 5 stars Service- 3 stars; would be 4 but the waiter was a bit judgey and kept making disapproving faces at us. Maybe because we were not dressed amazing after coming off of a tour all day, I don’t know. Maybe he didn’t like that I scraped the mayonnaise off.

Just because they were busy and seats for 3 are limited and they prioritize large groups... but we noticed many tables empty near the end. Even in their peak time. We dined in half past 6. Idk why but we were put on the very edge of the indoor area. So I'm rating it 4 in atmosphere. Service was great and our server was very friendly.

What a fantastic find! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a beautiful view. The food was outstanding – the T-bone steak was cooked to perfection and was absolutely amazing, and the kids were thrilled with their pizza. A huge thank you to our host, Vini, who was so welcoming and kind. He made our family's double birthday celebration feel incredibly special. Highly recommended!

The service, setting and atmosphere were great. The food was disappointing, especially considering the price. Its not cheap and of the 5 of us that ate brunch - None of us were particularly blown away by the food. The presentation of the food looked stunning and photographed very well..so perfect for posting on social. - Again, very friendly staff. It's a shame we probably won't be back for brunch though.

Had an amazing time at Layla’s Rooftop for my birthday. The service was amazing, our host for the night was Vini and he did a phenomenal job. He was extremely attentive and made our experience one to remember. The food was delicious and the views and vibes were great. It’s hard to keep a party of 15 happy at all times but he managed to do so with ease. Will definitely return.

I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli, which was absolutely amazing, perfectly balanced with the truffle and sage butter. There was a mix-up in the kitchen and they accidentally thought I had ordered steak, so my ravioli took a bit longer than the rest of the table’s meals. The staff were incredibly kind and took the ravioli off the bill without me even asking, thanks! 🫶🏻 For dessert, I had the limoncello pie, which was refreshingly tangy and just the right level of sweet, and paired it with a limonata cocktail that was delicious. Overall, the food was wonderful, but it was the attentive and generous service that made the evening truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant with views of Dublin rooftops. Has option of outdoor seating too. Nive pizza and pasta menus. Need to supply credit card when booking and there are T&Cs to be accepted re some minimum spends

I went to this restaurant for my birthday and I liked it a lot! The meat was as I ordered it and the view is spectacular! In the end they gave me a detail for my birthday and my stay was very nice. Thank you

Avoid Layla’s for Celebrations. Terrible Service and No Flexibility We went to Layla’s yesterday for my friend’s birthday with a booking for 18 people. From the start, the experience was awful. The restaurant was almost empty, yet they refused to put our group together at one table. The “set menu” was just three starters, three pizzas, and three desserts. Several guests didn’t want pizza, but the waiter said we still had to pay €37.50 each – no flexibility, no understanding. The atmosphere became tense, with the supervisor using dismissive body language that made everyone uncomfortable. Most people ended up taking unwanted pizza home, and we were even forced to pay a €58 service charge. As someone with 10 years in hospitality, I have never seen such poor communication, lack of respect, and unwillingness to accommodate. If you’re thinking of celebrating here – don’t. Poor communication turned what should have been a happy celebration into a stressful and unpleasant experience.

Richmond, a charming area in London, has long captivated the hearts of locals and visitors alike. This vibrant neighborhood is not only rich in history but also serves as a culinary hotspot. A standout establishment here is Richmond restaurant, which has transformed from a humble eatery into a beloved bistro known for its exceptional brunch offerings every Sunday.
We went for the early bird menu and were really impressed! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The prices were great for the quality, definitely worth it. The place itself is cozy and has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I totally recommend it and would love to go back!

Was a tasty meal with work colleagues. Really nice interior. Old style. Food was good but I felt a bit over priced for what you got. Bread we got at the start was cold and tasted a bit old. Would have been nice to have it warm from the oven. Simple to do and would be lovely. The butter they provide tastes a bit like margarine. Pity. Steak was very nice and played very well but the fries were a bit generic for €48 quid. Not hand cut triple fried chips or something posh. Just looked like from a bag. No cracked sea salt or something to jazz up the chips. Just felt like a cop out to be honest. Starters were also tasty but lacking seasoning and depth of flavour. The wagu tartare was a bit thickly cut for a tartare. With some sinew as the silverside on the meat wasn't trimmed correctly. No egg yoke on top to mix through to get it all gooey. Was lacking a bit in flavour. No umph. The monkfish starter was very tasty but the fish was over cooked. The sauce and corn was really nice though. Had the wild sea bass. Again the fish was dry. Over cooked. But I didnt return it. The saurgo addition was flavourless. White wine pinot was delicious. Didn't have dessert. Service was good. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Music in the restaurant wasn't in keeping with the ambiance I felt. It was like a Playlist of some sorts with country and western and modern indie. Johnny cash ring of fire leading into females are much more deadly than the males and other songs of equal ilk and different ecclectic genres . But each to their own I guess. It's mentioned on the bib gourmond but needs work in my opinion on the flavours and especially on over cooking the fish. Plating was very well done for the most part.

Delicious simple food made well without too much overstatement always makes for a good meal. The staff are lovely and the environment while small feels cosy as opposed to crowded and the background music is so subtle that you know it's there but only actually hear it when you try to listen. I would highly recommend Richmond to anyone looking for a nice meal out in Dublin

The food was tasty , it is fine dining so coasy I like it and I would love to come back ,, it is romantic, the grilled bass fish and date pudding was so good for a person living within the date farms how knows the date well.

Good meal, great service. Bit overpriced, 48e for the pictured steak. Chips were far too oily to enjoy. Date pudding desserts had cheap salted nuts out of a pack dropped on top. Should have at least being crushed. Espresso was terrible.

Had the duck Benedict — my first time ordering duck for brunch, and now I’m not sure what I’ve been doing with my life (or eggs) up to this point. Duck may have just claimed the Benedict top spot — apologies to bacon. Service was efficient, friendly, and refreshingly unbothered. No over-explaining, no theatrics, just everything arriving when it should. Some dishes linger. This one’s still making eye contact.

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in a basement on South William Street, The Ramen Bar is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Boasting Ireland's first noodle making machine, the restaurant takes pride in crafting all their noodles on-site. The menu features a variety of ramens from different regions of Japan, including tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen from Kyushu and Hokkaido, and more.
Love the Green Devil’s ramen 💚 First time I went I was a little disappointed as it was not spicy as it claimed, however when I gave the place a second chance I was delighted with my meal and the level of spice. I wish there was more tofu but that’s down to personal preference ☺️ The drink options are good also and the mochi tastes great. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and can seat big groups

Fresh made gyoza and the most delicious filling… the broth in my ramen was super tasty and the portion was so big I couldn’t finish it… the staff it’s lovely and kind, super cute waiter explain the level of spice in one our dishes… If I ever come back to Dublin this is for sure one of the spots I’m coming back to. Thank you.
Ana C — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this place. The ramen, as the name suggests, is good — but honestly, quite average. Definitely not the best in Dublin. However, **the real gem here is the starters**, which keep me coming back. I usually go for a few of them *Asian tapas style*. The **salmon tartare arancini with teriyaki sauce** are a must-try, and the **pork tacos** are also really tasty. I also have to highlight the **Italian Pinot Grigio**, which I always order — fresh, light, and great value for money. Overall: I wouldn’t come here just for the ramen, but I’d definitely return for the starters and the wine. 🍷🥢
Gustavo I — Google review
This was our second time at The Ramen Bar, and we left with mixed feelings. The starters were really good, especially the salmon tartare, which is definitely a must-try! The katsu bao bun was also lovely, super soft and tasty. I ordered the Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen, but honestly, it wasn’t spicy at all (even though I asked for the spicy version). The flavour was a bit flat, though the pork was tender and the portion size was huge — lots of noodles and broth. Service was great as always, very friendly and quick. The place itself is a bit compact and can get noisy when busy, but it still has a nice vibe overall. Food-wise, I’d say it was okay — not bad, but not amazing either. I’d probably come back again just for the starters and bao buns 😊
Anuranga D — Google review
Booking a table was easy and we got a nice table even as it was fairly busy when we arrived. Service was friendly but we had an issue were one of the orders arrived in the time the rest of the group already finished eating theirs. Another suggestion to improve is the cutlery, the food is really good but if you are charging over the average price for a bowl I would expect a ramen spoon and not disposable chopsticks.
Juan D — Google review
Got this place recommended and was blown away by the beautiful venue! Service was great, and we were super excited, especially after receiving the delicious starters. But, we are very sad to admit that the ramen was just for our taste at all… The broth had very little taste and the noodles severely overcooked making it so hard to eat. It was a real shame because all the rest was really nice 😓
Alexandra V — Google review
Undoubtedly, one of the best ramen bars in Dublin. Been here multiple times and tried all the vegetarian/vegan options—they’re all delicious. Just a word on the Devils Green though! Take the spice/chilli paste on the side; not in the broth! You’ve been warned 🥵 Chilli Kagashi Miso and Spinach Yasai are our go-to ramens, Mozzarella Kimchi Aranchini and Kirin are just too delicious to skip.
Chandan V — Google review
I gave a second chance. I initially order the Original Pork Tontsu. It had such a strong bleach smell coming from the ball. It was unbearable not to notice it. I thought initially maybe it’s fine, even tho I knew well it is not.. I gave a search on ChatGPT and called the server to report it rightaway. I was offered to try Chicken version. The server was nice to inform me that the smell comes from the broth, however no broth should smell strongly like bleach. He was kind to offer a substitution. Spicy chicke tontsu was not better. It didn’t have a strong bleach smell, except the ramen noodles, prob the chef moved them from the previous dish. However, the dish itself has no seasoning, chicken tasted and looked like microwaved, the noodles themselves smelling lightly like bleach had no taste, but boiled water. I later noticed that it could be coming from the canned ginger used in the dish. Anyway.. the place looks very moder and fresh… with window seating.. however the dishes themselves are horrible… i can only speak about pork and chicken tontsu. I really wanted to like this place. I hope they can review the dishes quality.

Love this place! It has its own unique atmosphere, a great little market, healthy food, and friendly staff. They used to have dishes that suited my taste a bit more, especially the arancini plate, which was my favorite, but the menu has changed a bit lately. Still, there are plenty of delicious options, and the overall vibe keeps me coming back.

Please keep in mind I’m a basic Texan and this food was from another planet. I had the meat sandwich. Weird ingredients and terrible flavor. My wife got the granola bowl and it was also not good. No real service as you place the order at a counter and they bring it to you. To be totally fair to the owners this appears to be a super popular place and was packed. So I blame our experience on our lack of knowledge about these dishes and flavors. But still we deemed it the worst meal of our lives.
Chris C — Google review
My go-to brunch place. It has a lovely atmosphere, is dog friendly, has a tiny shop inside it. They don't take bookings, if you arrive later in the noon, you might have to queue for about 5-6 mins but it's absolutely worth it. They have a very limited menu and the food is very tasty. Their pastries and desserts are fantastic and are different every week I believe. You will always find this place buzzing in the afternoons for brunch. They stop serving food at 3 pm. Lovely place for a nice brunch with your friends or partner or even to eat alone and bring your dog 🐶

I went here more than a month ago with my friends, for the vibes of the place alone I'd give it a 10/10 but the food unfortunately did not meet my expectations, nothing wrong with it but it wasn't hitting the spot for some reason, the flavours were just okay for me personally, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich of the day which was onion fritters and mint sauce in it, as an Indian myself I'm not unfamiliar with the flavours but they could've done more with the sandwich. The staff was nice and warm as well. Again, the place isn't bad, just not for me I fear.

I have been at this location quite a few times. It never fails to deliver. The food is absolutely delicious. All their hot meat dishes are soft and melt inside the mouth. Very juicy (or crispy depending on the meal) and flavorful. They also have a nice selection of sushi, which is always fresh and comes on top of really nice rice. As well as great selection of Japanese alcohol beverages. Lastly the service is always top notch. Very polite and quick :)

We had breakfast here and the service was absolutely excellent. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, which made the whole experience even better. In fact, it was so good that we came back the very next morning—and were treated just as kindly the second time. Ordered the Kinder pancakes and the Irish breakfast — both were tasty and well-prepared. The menu offers a good variety and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The atmosphere is bright and casual, perfect for a relaxed brunch. The only downside was that the service could’ve been a bit more personable and friendly — it felt slightly rushed or indifferent. Still, a solid spot for breakfast or brunch in the city centre, and I’d definitely go back.

We had a very bad experience. The waiter was very inattentive and constantly rushed to the door to open it to other guests while we were ordering. He also repeated our order correctly but still forgot part of our order so wee had to wait again. They did not have a lot of the menu and it was sad that they could not at least make the dish with one ingredient missing (e.g. the chicken chorizo sandwich could not be ordered even if we were fine with getting it without the chorizo). They also rushed us because there were people waiting even though we only stayed 40 min for a breakfast. We also saw the waiter putting in his eye drops. No washing hands or going to the bathroom, just in front of all the guests. We think that was very unhygienic. The food was good. The french toast was very nice! We will still not be coming again.

The first-floor terrace provides a prime vantage point to admire the historical surroundings while enjoying your meal.
This café was a great place to take a short break and find some peace in the middle of Dublin. We walked from the castle and found great gift shops other boutiques on our way. The atmosphere was really pleasant, and while seating depends on how busy it is, the side seats are definitely the best if you can get one. Prices are also reasonable, making it a nice and affordable stop during the day. Cute tableware as well!!

I recently visited and had a lovely experience. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel, which was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Compliments to the kitchen. For dessert, I tried the orange cake, soft, fragrant, and with a lovely homemade flavor. Definitely a place I’d return to for more menu options.

A fair price for the food you're given. It's incredibly good; a great balance of flavors and sweet and salty in their dishes. I had the free range bacon bagel and my girlfriend had the porridge. That bagel was divine! The apple juice here is uniquely nice as well, and it's the kind that makes you believe you can taste the whole apple (core, skin, and all) in one juice. Very nice place; if only there was more private, quiet seating. The centre is a bit loud.

Brother Hubbard (South) emerged in 2012 during a challenging economic period, filling a gap in Dublin's dining scene with its focus on Middle Eastern cuisine and fresh, predominantly vegetarian dishes. Despite the changing times, it remains a popular choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner across its four locations. The Capel Street venue stands out as the only spot open for dinner.
Fancy breakfast ✅ If you are close to portobello definitely you need to try Brother Hubbard South. The food is soo nice and the portions are huge, good flavour and very good presentation on the plate, was lovely. Great spot for breakfast in the Portobello Dublin area!! We had their breakfast sandwich and potatoes and they were delicious (the sandwich was a bit messy and hard to eat but so worth it). The coffees and lattes we had were great. We went for a Sunday breakfast right when they opened at 10am and they sat us right away. If you have a larger group or come after they open you may have to wait or try and get a reservation. Definitely recommend for a filling and delicious breakfast in Dublin!

The smallest of the Brother Hubbard's cafés, but not lacking in quality. Can't ever go wrong with their coffee, a delectable breakfast and of course the famous cinnamon rolls with walnuts! The location is perfect for those coming in from Rathmines as well as down from the city centre and the large windows are great for watching traffic go by. Special mention of the really friendly and sound team that make it a great experience every time!

I was here for lunch with my friend and I got so disappointed. When I went to the north side brother hubbard, the food was great so I have had a good memory with them. This time, I ordered the chicken wrap, they wrote down to choose slaw or soup so I chose slaw on the menu, and they gave me italian oil salad instead of slaw. The dressing on salad had no flavors. I was so confused... Usually dressing has a bit of vinegar taste but it was like just parsley + oil that was it. I asked the staff to ask vinegar for dressing and he gave me the same oil again. I just wanted slaw🥲... The chicken in the wrap was so cold and rock-hard, no enough sauce to go well with, I could just taste the wrap, tortilla..

It was departure day 🥲 I am still vomiting and feeling so so so so sick! I don’t know if they don’t wash hands or if they’re not using fresh food- actually don’t care- guys… don’t go there. You will meet the devil 2 hours later. The food wasn’t only poisoned, no- the drinks came after we finished eating- it was like they didn’t care. It was the worst food experience in my entire life. Shouk, located in Drumcondra, is a Middle Eastern restaurant known for its health-conscious menu and homey ambiance. The restaurant offers outdoor seating and features a variety of meat-free mezze and inspired brunch options. One of the highlights of Shouk's menu is its extensive selection of hummus variations, including options with mushrooms caramelized onions, grilled shawarma, and tahini with beef and lamb kabobs.
What a gem !!! Relaxed atmosphere with a great music. Flavours were off the charts and everything was so fresh. Staff was amazing and so helpful. They were checking on us regularly irrespective of the rush. Definitely to be visited and again n again!! We ordered : 1. Mezze platter - Came with very tasty options of dips and salads with very freshly made pita. Never had such a soft pita before. The falafel was next level. 2. Chicken skewers - Another must try dish. 3. Hummus chicken shwarama - What a dish. Very light hummus topped with chicken shawarma came with pita bread with side of olives and pickles. 4. Chicken shawarma in a pita - came as shawarma roll. Again another exceptional dis. But portion size can be improved. 5. Knafeh - Best knafeh in Dublin. It was made fresh. They took 15 mins to make it but did inform us that this order takes time when we placed the order. But definitely worth all the wait. Not tooo sweet not too buttery. Perfect balance of flavours

A Fantastic Middle Eastern Experience at Shouk, Drumcondra If you’re looking for a vibrant, flavour-packed culinary experience in Dublin, Shouk in Drumcondra is a must-visit. This outdoor food hall offers a warm, relaxed ambiance that perfectly complements its delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. We ordered the Large Mezze Platter, which was a feast in itself — with crispy falafels, soft pitas, creamy hummus, fresh salads, smoky babaganoush, and a bold hit of Zhug. While I personally didn’t enjoy the tahini (just a matter of personal taste), my friends absolutely loved it. For dessert, the Knafeh was the real standout — rich, sweet, and beautifully presented. Drinks-wise, they have a small but decent selection of cocktails and pints; nothing extraordinary, but they complement the food nicely. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was laid-back yet lively — perfect for a casual evening out. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more dishes. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern flavours, Shouk is definitely worth a visit.

I'd highly recommend this place! The food served here is bursting with flavour and has great textures. We ordered the Arayes and Chicken Skewers Pita, both of which were fantastic. The entrance is to the side of the Drumcondra Arts & Business campus building. The service was great and quick. They have a lovely beer garden at the back with plenty of outdoor seating.

Great place! Exceptionally tasty food, nicely served. We took sharing plate and everything was delicious. Only hummus was a bit too watery. Service was really nice and helpful. We’ll come back for sure
Julia L — Google review
This is my second time coming here and it never disappoints. I highly recommend the Mezze Platter as a starter — it’s one of my favorite things. The hummus is super creamy, and the bread basket lets you try all the dips, which are honestly amazing. The Arayes is also delicious. The dough is really crispy — it’s like eating a burger, but with that perfect crunchy texture. The service is excellent — they’re quick, there are no long waits, and everyone is super friendly. Just one recommendation: bring a jacket if you’re sitting outside. Even on a warm day, there’s a breeze, and if you tend to get cold, you’ll definitely want something to keep you warm. Inside felt a bit too warm for me.

It’s so easy to miss this place! Walked by it so many times and didn’t realise it was there. Cosy interior. Friendly staff and fast service. Food was delicious! All of it! The grilled chicken was full of flavour and very tender.
Karolina W — Google review
A place that is hard to miss from the street, but it opens up to a beautiful and big garden with plenty of shade and tables, Amazing atmosphere, minus the occasional horns and the loud murmurs of the trains passing by. The waitresses are experienced and friendly. The Pita is really good, great pickles, sauces, hummus, meat was not spared, although it was a bit too oily, and the pita bread itself felt fresh. The minty Lemonade is top notch, sweet and refreshing. Only two beers on draught, I would say much enough, others might like more variety. Definitely need to book a table especially if you're looking to go during the usual busy hours and on sunny days. All in all definitely recommended !
Gábor V — Google review
I've visited the place 3 or 4 times, and the food and service are always impeccable—but their delivery doesn’t follow the same standard. I’ve ordered multiple times, and it’s always a “surprise”, meaning sometimes the food is amazing and the portions are as expected, while other times it’s not up to the standard they offer. Once, I ordered labaneh, and the portion was half of what they usually send, for example. The staff also doesn’t seem to know how to manage the system: they don’t update missing items, and when something you’ve ordered is unavailable, instead of refunding just that item, they cancel the entire order🤦🏼‍♀️ For the first time, I ordered baklava for dessert, and the picture on the website is totally misleading. I’m sorry, but charging €6 for that small portion is absolutely nonsense.

Glas Restaurant, located off Grafton Street in Dublin, offers a sophisticated dining experience with locally sourced vegetarian and vegan dishes. The restaurant's ultra-stylish charm is accentuated by signature wallpapers and carefully arranged foliage, creating an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication. The menu features creatively crafted dishes like rum and raisin fritters with Waldorf salad, green curry gel, and bitter vegan chocolate.
10/10. Had the vegan tasting menu and each of the 5 courses were exceptional. Combination of flavours, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. Friendly and attentive wait staff. The only downside is that we leave Dublin early tomorrow and can't go back a second time.
Kevin C — Google review
Went to Glas with two friends for a birthday lunch and was absolutely blown away. We each ordered different dishes and shared everything, opting for the two-course lunch menu at €25 – an incredible price for such an inventive and memorable meal. Every dish was both delicious and thought-provoking. Glas is one of those rare places where every mouthful makes you pause – trying to figure out how each ingredient has been prepared with such care and creativity. Standouts for me were the courgette flower starter and the turnip main – the latter was especially tasty, though I wouldn’t have minded a slightly larger portion. The cocktails were gorgeous, and the staff made the experience even more special. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and generous with his time, happily answering our questions and explaining each dish in detail. He also went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday – surprising us with an extra starter, a glass of bubbly, and a mini carrot cake taster. Such a thoughtful touch. As someone who’s worked in kitchens, I often leave restaurants in Dublin feeling like I’ve overpaid for food I could’ve made better myself. That is absolutely not the case at Glas. The level of skill, innovation, and care in every dish makes this a true dining experience. Even if something isn’t quite to your taste, you can’t help but appreciate the craft behind it – and to me, that’s what matters. Glas is doing something really exciting with Irish ingredients – breathing new life into them, reimagining the familiar, and clearly loving every minute of it. Their seasonal menu speaks to a team constantly learning and evolving, and I can’t wait to go back and see (and taste) what they come up with next.

Shocked this isn’t on the Michelin list (we ate at a 2 star in Dublin and this is better). From the moment you walk in the door, the staff and the ambiance are welcoming. The food is top notch and exquisite. I had the coconut margarita which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. We collectively tried 6 items on the menu and had not one negative comment. And the desserts, chefs kiss! Incredible from start to finish.
R H — Google review
I had the pleasure of dining at Glas in Dublin and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. I arrived right as dinner service began and was lucky to be seated immediately—though it didn’t take long for the place to fill up. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it's clearly a popular spot. What stood out immediately was the warm, attentive service. The staff provided an amuse-bouche to start, and each course was introduced with thoughtful detail and care. It’s rare to find such a high level of service paired with such creativity in vegan cuisine. I opted for the three-course dinner and every dish was a burst of flavor. Contrary to some negative reviews I've seen mentioning a lack of taste, I found the food deeply satisfying and skillfully balanced. Starter: Roast dinner squash – rich, hearty, and beautifully presented. Main: Spiced cauliflower with a side of polenta fries – a perfect combination of textures and spice. Dessert: Baked cheesecake – a standout, especially the unexpected yet refreshing hint of cucumber, which added a unique twist. One special touch I truly appreciated was their offering of non-alcoholic wine—a rare and welcome feature that made the experience feel even more inclusive and refined. In short, Glas delivers on every front: exceptional food, elegant atmosphere, thoughtful service, and a menu that proves vegan fine dining can be both exciting and satisfying. I’ll absolutely be back.

Where do I start?! first this place has certainly mastered elegance, good music and absolutely high scale food and ALL vegan & gluten free! I decided to go with 3-course menu! It’s perfect! I went with lentil kofta (such an amazing dish! highly recommend) with halloumi walnut for main dish and a delicate delicious nut chocolate mousse!!! It was absolutely delicious and perfect The stuff was kind and offered tea on the house to celebrate my birthday!
Divine — Google review
Loved this vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Mostly vegan with a small dairy option. The food was excellent. The flavors sensational. The service and staff superb and the overall experience was satisfying beyond our highest expectations. Everything on the 3 course menu was great but I loved the beans and lentil fritters appetizer, the celeriac schnitzel for entree and the walnut mousse for dessert was all so spot on for the chefs vision to delivery to flavor profile. The textures and savory flavors were such a hit!

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Staff is lovely and ready to help any time. The cocktail "after eight" is a must try! Wheelchair accessible, which was important for us.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Glas an incredible vegetarian restaurant, and I can honestly say the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely beautiful — every dish bursting with flavour, colour, and creativity. The variety on the menu was amazing, offering something to suit every taste and appetite. As the sole carnivore at the table, I’ll admit I was a little sceptical at first. However, my meal completely won me over — in fact, I’m convinced my choice was the best of the entire table! Every bite was rich, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. It was truly out of this world and a real testament to how delicious vegetarian cuisine can be when done well. The staff deserve special mention too. They were kind, considerate, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and professionalism added to what was already a wonderful dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough — even for the most devoted meat eaters out there. It’s a place that will completely change your perception of vegetarian dining.

Bread 41 is an organic bakery located on Pearse St. in Dublin, known for its specialty breads, pastries, and custom-made cakes. The owner, Eoin Cluskey, is a prominent figure in the artisan bread movement in Ireland and is passionate about natural sourdough breadmaking. The bakery also offers a brunch menu with options like Breakfast Croissant and French Toast.
Amazing find with a delicious assortment of baked goods and espresso drinks. The line held steady outside the door throughout our visit. We also saw the pastry chef measuring out butter for her next recipie as we left. Highly reccomend!

Bread 41 is where craftsmanship meets creativity. A buzzing Dublin bakery turning simple ideas into pure flavour. The sourdough is exceptional, the Cruffin irresistibly flaky, the Savory Croissant rich and inventive, and the Sausage Roll easily among the city’s best. Coffee’s on point, staff are upbeat, and the atmosphere hums with local charm. It gets busy and prices reflect the quality, but every bite reminds you why it’s worth the hype.

I was really looking forward to visiting Bread 41! As soon as I got there, I queued up and grabbed some bread and coffee. Luckily, there were still a few seats left inside. I tried the custardo, salted caramel knot, and almond croissant. Maybe my expectations were too high, but although the bread wasn’t bad, I was a bit disappointed because it didn’t have that rich buttery flavor I was hoping for. The Americano was a little pricey, but since other drinks were the same price, I think trying something else next time might be a better deal. ☕️🥐

For some reason, this place is always busy. Maybe they do nice bread, never had. I tried cinnamon roll, and although there was a cream on the top of it, it felt a bit dry. Would I go back again? Yes, to try their almond croissants, they looked good.

Mak is a popular spot in Ranelagh, serving delectable dim sum since 2012. Recently, they've teamed up with Zozimus near Grafton Street to offer their menu alongside a wide selection of cocktails. Despite the upscale setting, Mak still delivers on classic favorites like steamed prawn har gau and spicy chicken potstickers. The owner also opened another concept called Parrilla after facing challenges in the retail and hospitality industry.
I was very happy I discovered this place. Coming across a restaurant that is full is always a good sign. The service was superb as was the food. They have an excellent gluten-free menu which I really appreciated since I hadn't eaten many of these dishes in years.

Stopped by yesterday for dinner to try out the GF Sweet & Sour Chicken and it was DELICIOUS!!! My husband had to beef basil and he enjoyed it! Great food and good value. Loved the ambience and found the food scrumptious . . . the only let down was the service . . . friendly and polite but quite slow unfortunately ... a little over 30 minutes from finishing our starter to receiving the main course ... but hey really, don't let that put you off. The prices are reasonable and as I said, the food was well worth the wait.

Modern European restaurant
Uno Mas is a popular restaurant located on Aungier Street, drawing inspiration from the flavors of Spain. The menu features small tapas-style plates like jamon croquetas and padron peppers, as well as more substantial starters such as Scallop aguachile and beef tartare. The mains include the renowned salt-aged Delmonico steak for two, accompanied by bearnaise and beef dripping potatoes. Additionally, there's an extensive selection of Spanish and Portuguese wines and sherries available.
Really tasty! Each dish is very much reminiscent of dishes I've had in Spain. Everything is prepared to a great standard and the presentation is lovely! The staff are very accommodative and friendly, absolutely 10/10 service. The menu is pricey for what it offers, but that's what comes with the restaurant's reputation of high standards! We were also required to order a certain amount of dishes, which did not include small bites, which is worth keeping in mind when considering this restaurant.

Great fresh food. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Good wine selection… they leave the bottle of high quality olive oil. Minimum three dishes but you might want more as they’re so good. No weak dish on the evening. Intimate vibe. Great for a date or with friends! Recommended.

Great experience. We sat in the little cove across from the bar and kitchen that was a big treat, very cozy. The food was excellent. We had never had cockles before and found them to be an acquired taste but every dish from olives to pasta was outstanding but the grilled squid was amazing!!!
D B — Google review
From the moment we were greeted and seated the experience here is fantastic I never got the guys name who looked after us he was superb with recommendations. We had some small plates to start the squid and crochets and hake and sides for main with a crème caramel desert to share washed down with a lovely bottle of red. It’s a lovely cosy atmosphere and we will most definitely be back to try more from the menu.
Leebow — Google review
The food at Uno Mas is very tasty and well executed with a lovely presentation and lovely restaurant, however the menu is just not to my taste. Nothing on the menu really spoke to me so I ended up going for the pasta which was nice and my boyfriend ordered the pork was also very well cooked and full of flavour. The little starter bites were yumm and the desert was ok. This is my second time to Uno Mas and overall I just don’t really rate it, I would probably more likely recommend their sister restaurant’s Lena and Etto which are two of my favourite restaurants in Dublin!
Cathriona W — Google review
A truly six-star place! The service is excellent. Our server and the chef were so thoughtful about our allergies. This is the first place I've been to in a long time where every single dish hits the spot. We ordered the sourdough, croquetas (very tasty), oysters (SO good), charred cabbage, and the Delmonico (the fat, the sauces, mmm!) The kind of place I will dream of returning to again one day.
Amanda L — Google review
Loved this restaurant. Pricey but so worth it. Really loved the meat and tortilla, would highly recommend!

Dine in for weekend lunch. High hopes after hearing all the great reviews. Most dishes we got - solid Spanish influence there. Highlight was squid, jamon and steak. We enjoyed everything but got pretty disappointed at the end to be honest. We booked the table so we got seated right away. However, it took us more than 20-30mins to order drinks and get them. Sommelier said she needs to check but still taking other table’s orders and serving. That’s understandable since it was getting busier and busier after we came in. The problem was that we didn’t even order our food yet until drinks were ready. Consequently, we were asked to leave as soon as we finished our main dish because the people next booking arrived for that table. Of course, the staff came to apologise and we understood. However, we were so ready for desserts and more drinks but got really disappointed after being asked to leave because 1h 30mins service wasn’t managed properly for us to fully enjoy.

We chose this place to have a quick dinner before attending an event. I was ready to have a simple meal but as it came strongly recommended by a friend I was expecting something more. I found the food to be quite disappointing instead. Even more so as I had what was supposed to be the signature sandwich. The bread was good but the filling uninspiring. The meat was cold (not even room temperature but colder). I tried a chicken sandwich and it was warmer but the seasoning of the chicken was nothing special. The tables were dirty.

Came here a few times already ever since I was Young. I came here with my friend for who is his first time and it was packed. The food was still delicious as always and so CHEAP TOO. The drinks are so nice and refreshing I just didn’t like the fact that it’s so small and so packed. Overall experience, we’ll be back. Continue what you guys are doing 👏 Don’t forget it’s CASH ONLY!!!!

We love their special spicy hue — it really makes the food stand out! It’s great that they offer different soup bases too, with pork, beef, chicken, and vegetarian options, so there’s always something for everyone. Their chilli oil is another highlight — so delicious and perfectly spicy. Always a satisfying meal here!

Really good hue for affordable price. Restaurant is quite small so can be quite crowded but definitely worth it. They only take cash so be prepared. There’s an atm across the street if you find yourself there without cash.
Eero V — Google review
The spicy pho was really nice — warm, flavourful, and just the right kick. The baguette sandwich was surprisingly good too, super refreshing and meaty!
Xiaoxue — Google review
This place was relatively affordable, especially since they offer small bowls of their noodle soups. The small bowl was already quite filling. I had planned to order banh cuon too, but I was too full. That said, it was such a treat to find banh cuon and a variety of other Vietnamese dishes on the menu. Back home, Vietnamese restaurants rarely serve it; banh cuon tends to be overshadowed by goi cuon. I was also pleasantly surprised to see bun bo hue on the menu, since most Vietnamese spots usually just focus on pho. I ordered the bun bo my favorite, and loved that they offered both beef/pork and a seafood version, great for anyone with allergies. One downside, though: they didn’t have hoisin sauce. They did have a brown sriracha sauce (called Crying Tiger) that I initially mistook for hoisin. Good thing I read the label before mixing it into my soup and managed to scoop it out just in time. Other notes: the place is cash-only. They have a decent restroom available for customers, as well as some outdoor seating. Interiors are basic but clean. It was an easy walk from the James Joyce statue.

Delicious sandwiches! Soup was also really nice and the flapjack we had! I think the price is fair as they are quite big and very filling. I’m honestly not a big sandwich person, much less a wrap person, but OH MY GOD this ish was delicious. Super generous fillings, fresh ingredients, perfect proportions, and flavor pairings spot on - all for a reasonable price (I can see why trips here would become a lunch break ritual). The staff were super friendly to boot. My only suggestion would be to label more clearly what kind of bread/wrap each sandwich comes on. If I could change one thing it would be to go back and ask for bread instead of a wrap, but it was delicious and the swap might’ve messed with the finished product, so no complaints.

Bunsen Ranelagh is a no-frills burger joint in Dublin that offers simplicity, quality, and mouth-watering burgers. The staff greets visitors with warmth and enthusiasm. The cheeseburgers are incredibly tasty, and the staff is lovely and accommodating. The menu is simple, making it easy to decide, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. Additionally, the hand-cut fries are just right in terms of saltiness.
Simply good, no fuss, comes out hot straight from grill, and fries are good. Location is great too. Tables are a bit tight together along one side of the establishment (but where isnt that an issue in Dublin?), however, if you manage to get the booth tables, you are comfy to enjoy your drink and meal with plenty of space. They got my burger sorted in record time and staff was super friendly. Will come again.

🍔Burger 5/10 | 🍟 Fries 7/10 🍔Burger + fresh buns - bottom bun was soaked in oil - the whole burger was a bit oily - burger was served a bit too warm - strong taste of pickles - cheese was not felt + big pieces of meat, well done - no special taste in the burger, overall McDonalds taste 🍟Fries + lots of fries, my preference would be for half portion + very tasty - just basic retail mayo, no special dressings

Really disappointed with this place. Not sure if it's a once off or not but the burger was atrocious... Impossibly impractical burger, that you have to smash against your face to try get any in your mouth, can't eat it without a knife and fork which you don't get... The burger was wet and soggy, after one attempted bite the buns disintegrate. It wasn't seasoned and they removed the only flavourful ingredient from their menu; bacon. My partner had the same experience. The chocolate milkshake, chips and beef patty were good, but it's not enough to bring the rating higher. Summary: Tasteless, wet, impractical. Do not recommend.

The food was simply amazing. Everything was perfect, the staff was super nice, the food was delicious, and they had gluten-free buns!

Went for the cheeseburger cooked medium and shoestring fries. Both cooked very well and the toppings all worked. Would go back. Took twenty minutes but worth the wait and good value overall.

Well, what can I say about Bunsen? It’s truly the paradise of burgers. You might be surprised by the small menu at first, but once you try it, you’ll realize there’s no need for more. Sometimes less really is better, and here, they’ve perfected that philosophy

This hamburger restaurant is a true gem. Their commitment to simplicity is a refreshing change of pace, allowing them to perfect each burger to absolute deliciousness. The service is impeccable, adding to the overall dining experience. It's evident that they prioritize quality and taste above all else, making it a top destination for burger aficionados seeking an uncompromised culinary delight.

Chinese restaurant
BIGFAN is a recently established Chinese restaurant in Dublin that has quickly gained popularity, earning a spot in the Michelin Guide. The restaurant caters to diverse dietary preferences, offering tempting options like Wagyu beef and Andarl Farm pork creations alongside a Chinese vegan banquet featuring dishes such as aubergine and Beyond Meat stuffed baos and delicate woodear mushroom wontons.
Absolutely incredible food! Every dish we sampled was outstanding. The restaurant is bustling and can get a bit noisy, and the high chairs aren’t the most comfortable, but the fantastic flavors more than make up for it.

This was probably the best meal I’ve ever had in Dublin, maybe even anywhere. Tasio, our server, was an absolute gentleman and genuinely one of the best servers I’ve ever had. The whole experience was exceptional, and at around €80 for cocktails, full stomachs, and desserts, it felt incredibly reasonable. Tasio for president

Honestly, it has quite negatively surprised me you are unable to order any hot drink at this place?!? Not even a cup of peppermint tea? In Asian style restaurant… We ordered plenty of dishes to share and frankly the beef - both the steak and tne intestines/tongue etc were tasteless in our opinion. Steamed fish and mushrooms were ok yet nothing stunning to come back. The service…. The ladies bringing the dishes to our table never picked the empties. Table for 2 is quite small so we had to ask them several times to take away the empty plates. And lastly, as others mentioned in their reviews, you are prompted to leave tip through the extra machine, I find this approach rather rude and pushy… All male servers were attentive - in a normal way, not extra mile yet the ladies delivering the food were probably blind to take the empty dishes away…. Will not repeat.

Soooo good!!! We did the tasting menu with a group of six and every item that came out was delicious!! We had such a great experience here, thank you! And our waiter and servers were really helpful, too!

Went here yesterday for the first time for lunch around 2pm. I had high expectations as BIGFAN has been listed on Michelin Guides, and guess what? they absolutely deserved it :) Very tasty food, excellent service, good atmosphere, and beautiful presentation. As the waiter suggested to order 5-7 plates for 2 people, we've ordered: - BIGFAN Bao (Dong Po style Pork Bao) - Wu Ya Bao (18hr braised beef - spicy) - Pork Snowflake (Classic pork & chive jiaozi) - Xiao Long Bao (Pork soup dumplings) - Rare Irish Featherblade Steak (Fermented bean sauce) - Sweet & Sourdough Prawn Toast - She's Sweet (Taiwanese fried chicken with honey soy garlic butter sauce) - Dessert: Coconut & Mango Parfait All of the dishes were very tasty, tasted fresh, and presented very well. Our favourites are the Pork Snowflake, Rare Irish Featherblade Steak, and Xiao Long Bao❤️ Very tasty, all were very well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and excellent presentation (and temperature!). We went here to celebrate our new jobs, and it was an excellent place to celebrate. We will definitely come back here :)

My sister and I followed a recommendation and went to BIG FAN. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation (must!!!), that's why we were seated the only table outside by the street. Since we didn't reservate it was absolutely fine. The nice manager from Brazil came to us to explain what the system due to ordering is about and so we started - we had (one portion of each) the LINGFEN WONTON, JIAZO WAGYU,QINLING LAM, FEATHER BLADE & SHE'S SPICY + two times KIMCHI. My favourite was "She's spicy" - my sister's choice. That's so delicious!!!! You need to consider the sizes and how hungry you are. The dishes don't come out at the same time! So you need to be quite patient 😜 We ordered these "dishes" and we're amazed by the tasteness. While trying each dish we just looked at each other and we're like "OMG". Of course some tapas werde extremely small like the KIMCHI. The only thing I would criticize is the size of the KIMCHI. Since we love kimchi it was great we ordered two of it before knowing how the proportion of it would be. If you're into extravagant and qualitative food - you'd be pleased there. Sure a visit means to leave some money there, but it's absolutely worth it! The waiter from Brazil was very nice and accommodating and had some minutes to chat with me even though business was very busy. We enjoyed the food. First we thought it was a pity we didn't sit inside, but its very noisy and busy inside what causes a bit of a stressful environment, besides it's very crowded inside when the restaurant is full. However we were satisfied and recommend trying out BIG FAN. After this visit we're Big fans indeed! Next time we'll travel to Dublin this restaurant is a must!!!

This was our last meal during an Ireland trip that wrapped up this week, and it did not disappoint. Engaging and knowledgable, Tasio talked to us about our options and we decided on the tasting menu. Every creative dish was better than the next. And even though we were beyond full, we just kept eating because... so good. It's a buzzy atmosphere, limited tables, everyone happy to be there - several special occasion dinners happening. When you're looking for something beyond fish & chips and seafood chowder, don't pass up Big Fan. A highlight meal in Ireland for sure.

I was not expecting to eat Chinese food in Ireland, being half Chinese and coming from a US state with plenty of delicious authentic Asian cuisine; however, this was one of the best rated restaurants in the area so we decided to check it out. I’m so glad we did because it was just what we needed after a long exhaustive day. It was easy in every way and the food came out fast. The food was delicious and a nicely done, unique, Irish-Chinese fusion, the place was good vibes, our waiter (Tassio) was pleasant and professional, and the price was reasonable. The enoki mushrooms were our favorite and the lamb was our least favorite, but everything else was good too. I’d gladly recommend this place to visitors.

Honey Truffle, located on Pearse Street, offers a delightful dining experience with its focus on fresh Irish produce and unique recipes. The cafe specializes in a variety of dishes including salads, soups, sandwiches, brownies, and cakes. Guests can savor their meals at the outdoor seating area or opt for takeaway to enjoy a picnic at Merrion Square. One of their standout offerings is a coffee concoction featuring Village Dairy Milk and a hint of maple syrup for that natural Canadian sweetness.
I have my lunch here at least 3 days a week and the quality is exceptionally high, of everything. The soup is amazing. And the salads are the best Ive ever had.

I loved the porridge with fruit compote and nuts. Everything I saw here seemed fresh, house made and delicious. They clearly are taking extra steps. The hazel nuts in my porridge were nicely toasted. The fruit compote was delicious and tart. Their fresh fruit was a bowl of berries that looked A+. The lunch salads looked amazing too but I am just here on a trip so I didn’t get to eat them. Beautiful and large selection of baked goods. If this place were in San Francisco where I live, I’d be there all the time.

This was our first stop in Dublin. What a great choice! The selection of fresh food seemed almost endless from amazing salads, large sandwiches, and delectable pastries and desserts. You can tell that everything is made fresh everyday. We love how they use local suppliers for almost everything. We ordered the veggie pita wrap, sourdough turkey panini, sweet potato tart, and berry pistachio cake. From the bread, meat, veggies, cheese, and dessert everything is fresh, crisp, and tender. Wish we could have ordered more. If we have time we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the employees at Honey Truffle.

Honey Truffle the name itself sounds yummy 😉, and is defo among one of the best café that I woud recommend in Dublin. I mostly get coffee there ( Coconut Milk Latte extra hot). Sometimes I do have a sweet tooth so I end up getting pastries as well and I should say they do taste amazing. So far, I have never tried their sandwiches or salads but the colourful display of the food are tempting and mouth watering. Moreover the staffs are cheerful, helpful, friendly and would always greet you with a smile.

Another great spot for breakfast, this place does some super tasty cakes and healthy options if you prefer. Porridge, oats, salads etc but I must admit the pastries look and taste great. Again you’ll have to wait in line for a while but it’s worth the wait. Coffee is also lovely and they have plenty of options. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.

Er Buchetto Caffe Italiano, a charming little spot, has temporarily relocated to merge with its sister cafe Scoff at 55. Despite the address change, the authentic Italian coffee and delightful snacks remain unchanged. This purple haven offers a taste of Italy with its range of paninis and quality Italian products. It's an inviting place to enjoy a panini, sip on wine, and relax with a newspaper.
I absolutely love this place. The avacado toast is gorgeous - so filling and the flavours are all so balanced. I’ve also had the tomato and basil soup and sandwich deal in the past and the soup is hands down the nicest I’ve had in ireland. On a rainy day I find myself craving it. The staff are lovely and I did get a lovely pistachio espresso coffee (I can’t remember the name) but it looked and tasted fabulous. It fills up for lunch. There has always been a seat free as the service is quick and efficient. It’s not the type of place to sit for a few hours, catch up on work etc. it’s the type of cafe you bring a friend to for a delicious bite and a catch up. They also have outdoor seating and the menu is very reasonably priced

The breakfast is available till 11:45. There are both vegetarian and vegan options (incl. plant-based milk). The avocado toast is simply the best! There are both an outside and inside sitting areas, as well as toilets (upstairs, though). The staff was friendly. They took their time with the drinks and food prep but the waiting was worth it. I would recommend for everyone in the kitchen to wear masks if you will let us, your guests, observe the whole process. Only one of the three ladies had her mask on. One of ladies was having her mask while walking among us but as soon as she was in the kitchen, she completely took it off which really made no sense to me (we are still in the middle of a COVID-19 pandemic).

Note Dublin is a popular wine bar and restaurant that has quickly gained attention in 2022. The establishment offers a bustling atmosphere with an engaging wine list featuring natural wines from small producers. The menu is inspired by Parisian bistros, offering dishes like chicken-liver choux buns and nettle tagliatelle with pecorino and egg yolk.
No doubt one of the best restaurants in Dublin, I've been here 4 or 5 times and it's been exquisite every time. Note combines European/French style gastronomy with seasonal Irish ingredients to produce a really special experience. Really cool vibe inside too with nice design and music to match. Would recommend: Beef Tartare Rosti, and whatever pasta dishes they have, they're always good. This time was the Cavatelli with St Tola cheese and broad beans.
Tom W — Google review
I found the food very good but honestly a bit on the expensive side. We chose the group menu which provided better value for money. You get 3 appetizers to share, 2 sides to share, 1 starter & 1 main à la carte and finally 1 dessert. The food is good and so is the wine. Be careful because the glasses are not the usual size that you would normally find in Dublin. Personnel was nice but they got quite confused, repeatedly, when we got in. I didn't like instead how we got welcomed when we entered the restaurant, even if we had a reservation. I found the first reaction a bit rude.
Francesco B — Google review
While the food here is good and beautifully presented, the high prices set an expectation for something more exceptional. You might find similar quality dishes elsewhere for less. The beef tartare and duck breast, while decent and well cooked, are common starter and main course choices that didn't stand out. The starter portions were quite small, so ordering several might be necessary to feel satisfied. The must try dish for me(if you end up going anyway) is the beef tongue salad. I'm writing this review several weeks after my visit. The flavor is still memorable—the cheese paired perfectly with the beef tongue. For dessert, I ordered rum baba and raisin ice cream. The baba was overly saturated with rum, resulting in a very soft and soggy texture. Additionally, baba taste bitter than I expected. Too much alcoholic taste. FYI, a service charge will be added to the bill.

Overall experience was very nice. We were in 3 and had such a great night. The team was absolutely friendly and the atmosphere cozy and pleasant. Maybe prices might be a little high but I would say is the average for Dublin city. I would recommend a visit!

My Mum had been gifted a voucher for here so we booked lunch for the first time. We ordered the set 3 course limited lunch menu as there were no other options excluding snacks of focaccia or oysters. We chose a bottle of white wine from Puglia priced at €40 to share (2nd cheapest on the menu: overall limited value to be found on the wine menu). There is a discretionary 12.5% service charge added to the bill. We were charged €4 for two bottles of still water. We didn't ask for the second bottle and weren't informed there was a charge for the still water then we were charged a further service charge on top of that. The restaurant wasn't busy and has an uppity feel but did have some tables occupied at 2pm on a Friday afternoon. The set lunch menu was €32 per person which on paper looks good value. To start there was a waldorf salad (no other choice). It was tasty especially with the blue cheese and dressing. However, it was awkward to eat as the chicory (I think) was sword shaped. For mains, I chose the cavatelli in brodo with hedgehog mushrooms. It was tasty but I have eaten far better pasta dishes. I also got to try what my Mum ordered: pork collar with celeriac remoulade. Again flavourful but an incomplete dish if you don't order a side. For dessert, we were given the rhubarb fool (no other choice). Very tasty, however I was looking at this menu as a Speech and Language Therapist trained in managing swallowing difficulties and the limited menu had a high proportion of high risk foods (IDDSI) in terms of how they were presented eg the sword shaped chicory, the stringy apple, walnuts and the thick fibrous rhubarb stalks. I had a knife to cut up and modify the salad but didn't have a knife to cut the rhubarb stalks in the dessert and the spoon didn't cut it adequately. Perhaps something for the chef to consider so that food can be safer and managed more elegantly. There are other options in Dublin which I will explore the next time in terms of food choices and value.

We booked lunch at 3pm for my wife’s birthday, when I called to say we might be 5 mins I was told “You shouldn’t have been able to book for 3pm, the kitchen closes then.” but they did honour the booking. I then felt the whole time we were imposing / forgotten about. We ordered drinks that didn’t show, then the wrong main came out, our bread didn’t come out. The food was good & the atmosphere was great, nice decor and solid music selection. At the end of the meal we waited a long time to collect the bill. When we did I mentioned that the focaccia never came out, the manager went to go and take it off the bill, I never checked when we paid but it was still on their. At this point we were the only people in there. I expect better service for £150 lunch.

Excellent dinner! This restaurant is absolutely awesome, and you can easily feel it at the moment you enter the room. We had an amazing time, tasting generous, fresh and tasty dishes. Biang Biang is a newly opened eatery near Capel street that brings the flavors of Xian city in Shaanxi Province to its diners. The kitchen team, hailing from Xian, specializes in hand-pulled thick, ribbony flat wheat noodles cooked to order. In addition to the signature noodles, the menu features other Xian delicacies such as roujiamo (Chinese burger), dumplings, and cold noodles in sesame paste.
Just three words: insanely good noodles! To all those who give bad reviews here because of poor service or long waiting times, go somewhere else. Good food takes time, the noodles is fresh and made by hand. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with the selection of dishes.
Mycler87 — Google review
I’ve been to Biang Biang twice already, and both visits were an excellent experience. The menu is quite small, but that’s actually a plus — it focuses on what they do best. I tried the handmade dumplings (from the “Handmade Dumplings” section) and their famous Biang Biang hand-pulled noodles — both were absolutely delicious and paired perfectly. The dumplings with chili oil and the noodles with diced pork were full of flavor, and the Tomato & Egg noodles on my second visit were just as satisfying. Prices are very fair and truly reflect the quality of the food — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic taste. The staff is kind, helpful, and always smiling, which really adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are only a few tables, but the turnover is smooth, so you don’t usually have to wait too long. A real hidden gem in Smithfield — highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Chinese noodles in Dublin!

Had the hand-pulled noodles with minced meat along with some dumplings, and everything was absolutely delicious! The noodles were fresh, chewy, and full of flavor, while the dumplings were perfectly cooked and packed with taste I have never had. Really authentic comfort food, and such a great spot in Dublin if you’re craving proper hand-pulled noodles. I’ll definitely be coming back and back ..
Filippos D — Google review
Saw the promotion on Deliveroo, each dish at €11 only! We ordered 2 Gun Gun Hand-pulled noodles with diced pork, 1 spicy with chili oil and 1 non-spicy. Both were tasty! The noodles have great texture (al dente- chewy), the flavor was salty & savoury, adding the chili oil was a great touch and a nice kick to the flavour, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked (still quite crunchy, which adds nice texture to the noodles). Both have big portions of noodles, personally I couldn’t finish it as the noodles are quite heavy :)

This was an absolute treat. Fast service, the food was AMAZING. Coming from Ohio in the states, but this was hands down the best noodles I've had in many many years. Right in the heart of Dublin, Ireland. If you are coming to Dublin, it's a must have for noodle lovers. Highly recommend the chili oil sauce.
Nicholas F — Google review
quite mid honestly… there was a lack of depth to the flavours of the noodles. i appreciate the condiments on the side (chili oil, 黑醋) for added flavour to the noodles but it still felt very bland. unfortunately did not hit the spot for my very chinese tastebuds

My friends and I was obsessed with the dumplings that we had in Kildare village I think it was the best ever in my life and we thought in the restaurant in Dublin would be much better. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t good they’re not similar at all and it wasn’t nice as we taste the one that’s really good. Second the service needs more attention, my friend said that he dose t eat spicy and the dumplings for exemple came with a chilli sauce on it, if he was allergic it could be an issue but we didn’t eat all to be honest he could t handle. The noodles was amazing 10|10.

I ordered “Beef rib noodle” with chili and garlic. Taste : 4 (Noodle is good) Cost : 3 (Normal, around 20€) Service : 5 (Good service) I’m Japanese, this taste is good for me. If you can’t eat spicy, you can remove chili.

If you're in search of a vibrant and refreshing dining experience, look no further than Three Storey. This newly opened gem boasts three distinct levels: a lively cocktail bar perched at the top, an inviting restaurant nestled in the basement, and a delightful Spritzeria on the ground floor. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a light drink before lunch during those sunny days, with plenty of options to return for more adventurous cocktails later.
We had a great experience here! We were upstairs in the cocktail bar, didn't try any food. The drinks were extremely tasty. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us lots of recommendations. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. We got two free drinks each which was very unexpected. The atmosphere was very nice, very quiet bar.

Lovely location. Great wines just a shame there was no cheese on the evening we were there. Can't beat the window seats. Very handy for heading to the gaiety after. Service was very friendly and eager. INCREDIBLE dirty martini - even though it wasn't on the menu, their mixologist has got to be one of the best I've come across in Dublin.

What a fantastic place. We had the nicest cocktails ever and some great food, brilliant service, felt under no pressure and the atmosphere was just what you want in a cocktail bar. Will be back to try the spritzateria and restaurant, and after seeing the pics all my friends are dying to go. Ask about the cocktails and what makes them so good and you’ll get a very interesting response…

Booked for something different than the places we usually go in town. Menu is small but had a good choice so something for everyone I'd say. Service was excellent, staff were lovely, friendly and engaging. The food was really excellent, products were very fresh and flavours were super. I have the bluefin tuna to start which was super. The steak for main is right up there with one of the best I have had in a long time. The only downside was that it was a little quiet so didn't have a buzz in the dining room. Decor is nice, seating is comfortable so I suspect it's just not known at present as I think it's pretty new. We would definitely go back as the food quality was superb.

The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar is a vibrant and popular spot in Dublin, offering delicious plant-based fast food with a fun American diner vibe. The menu features beyond meat smash burgers, loaded fries, wraps, sambos, and an array of sauces created by the owner. This vegan burger bar also serves mushroom burgers, vegan big macs, chicken burgers, wings, hot dogs, toasties, loaded fries, sides, milkshakes and coffee.
Great vegan in the Temple Bar. Go early. This place is popular and gets crowded. It’s popular for a reason. The food is very good. Also huge portions. We were stuffed. Sandwiches are piled high. Get extra napkins. They aren’t kidding about the saucy part. Fries are fresh cut and delicious. Could use more beer options, but it’s not a dealbreaker as it IS near a ton of beer places. They serve an alcoholic ginger beer that is unique and refreshing. I recommend it.

I don't get the high ratings. The staff were very friendly. The food was really subpar. The popcorn mushroom was so heavily coated and spiced, that you couldn't tell it was mushrooms. They smelled of oil that had been used to fry stuff too many times. The burger was average, small, like an eurosaver from a burger place but triple the price. The harsh browns with avocado had a minuscle amount of avocado on them. And paying 2 extra eur for a small thimble of sauce was painful. The overall experience was like going to a low quality fast food place.

It was our first stop at Dublin. We tried the burger and the burrito wrap. Burger is exceptional good, very “meaty” and saucy. As for the burrito, the filling is so full and good. We also tried the desserts (outsourced by another supplier) but equally tasty. The only complaint I have was not being offered tap water (while all the other tables get a bottle of those) and I had to pay for the expensive still water. I am not a big fan of this kind of underground vibe but that’s my personal taste. At least the restaurant doesn’t smell bad of those frying oil.
Carol W — Google review
Visited on 3rd November. The burger was so good. I wish the individual patties were a bit thicker but that’s just a personal preference. The garlic parm fries were phenomenal. Couldn’t tell the difference between their Parmesan and the ‘real’ stuff. It’s a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. Good atmosphere too.

This place has one of the BEST vegan burger I have had (the double cheese). Juicy burgers with great side options as well (I also had the ceasar 🤤). The food was delicious!! The atmosphere is also nice and inviting to eat and feel comfortable. During my visit in Dublin I went twice and I good repeat again and again!

Amazing burgers and fingerlicking fries! Delicious vegan food, plenty of options. Perfect location, great service: there is notning not to like about the place!

Amazing vegan food! So pleasantly surprised. My personal recommendation would be their wap burger, insanely good!! Will definitely come back again and can't recommend it enough 💗🍔🌱

A very nice vegan restaurant in the heart of dublin. The food is amazing. I lovethe zinger beer, it is a great pair with the food here. Love the ambience. Been here multiple times, always satisfied.

Cafe
Daddy's Café, located in Rialto, is a beloved spot known for its homemade dishes prepared with care and attention. The team takes pride in sourcing top-quality ingredients from renowned suppliers across Ireland. The menu reflects a nostalgic charm, featuring childhood favorites like soft-boiled organic eggs mashed up in a cup and salad sandwiches. This converted pub has become a trendy destination for foodies and coffee enthusiasts while maintaining the old-school Dublin 8 charm.
The Coffee here is great! They use Twerly Gate beans and you can see that they know what they are doing with it. Food is a bit pricy, but it is on the same line as other brunch places but with bigger sizes, and of course, tastes amazing. It's surely worthy of a special moment. Service didn’t get behind, the waitress replaced my partner's cappuccino made with cows milk for an oat one, even if this had not been their mistake.
Maurício C — Google review
I personally didn’t enjoy it. Almost 9 euros for two small glasses of orange juice while we waited for 30-40 min to order (Kitchen was delayed). Price for the food was ok, first time I have Turkish eggs (didn’t really like it but probably was me).. eggs were overcooked, in my opinion you can’t fail with the eggs on this kind of plate, it’s just part of the magic and the warm yolk to mix with the cold yogurt.
Nicolas F — Google review
The location is lovely and spacious enough that you may enjoy Sunday brunch without standing in large queues. We sampled the daddy's breakfast and the croissant sandwich. The first is extremely generic, unremarkable, and an Irish breakfast with less. The croissant is delicious but can be a bit pricey. prompt service.
Carlo P — Google review
Sadly, I have to add to the bad reviews as there must have been a change of ownership at Daddy's? Or maybe it's lack of basic staff training? Ordered two sit in americanos only to get two watery drinks in take away cups, with badly pulled shots and plenty of coffee grounds in the bottom. I used to work in speciality coffee, so can spot a carelessly made coffee from miles away. The staff were pretty unwelcoming also. I won't be back!
Eglė K — Google review
Sorry to say I have to add to the bad reviews as of late. Daddy’s used to be known for its phenomenal food and in theory the dishes are amazing. However the standard is extremely low now especially for the price you pay. On the last occasion I visited I was heavily pregnant. I got the full fry, and everything on it except the toast was disastrous. The sausage was pale, the pudding was undercooked and lukewarm and flavour was on the turn, mushroom was soggy, egg undercooked, and the bacon was hard. I would be embarrassed as kitchen staff to send that out. As for the service, we were waiting ages to be seated, ages for order to be taken, ages for food to arrive and no follow up for us to order more coffee etc. The place was dead so no excuse and plenty of staff on the floor. I used to work in the food industry and know that bad reviews can be terrible for a place but given the previous high standard I just hope owners will make some changes to get it back to what it was. As for now I won’t be back and it genuinely makes me sad! 2 stars given for the creative menu but otherwise, 1 star from me
Caitriona M — Google review
Friendly staff and the food is good enough to come back. There is a water bowl for dogs outside the door, and I saw a couple with their sweet dog inside. I really appreciate dogs are allowed inside. Recommend!
Elisa A — Google review
Oh the Eggs!! Moreish Mashed eggs-in-a-cup and delish Turkish are a must-try. Wash it all down with the Iced Turkish coffee on a warm summer day. Perfect brunch place with plenty seating indoor and outdoor. Friendly and pleasant staff in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Limited menu & reasonably priced. Dog-friendly.
Neha P — Google review
Really enjoyed our brunch here. We were a group of six and each loved our dishes, coffee was great and staff were attentive and friendly! Love the style of the place, design of menus and you can tell most of the produce is locally sourced where possible. I live on the other side of Dublin but I’ll be back again to try more of the menu and maybe a mimosa next time!

Health food restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Nutbutter Grand Canal Dock is a vibrant and popular spot that reopened in late 2020, much to the delight of Dublin's vegans and vegetarians. The menu features an array of flexitarian and vegan dishes, with a focus on tacos and bowls bursting with colorful, locally sourced ingredients. The owner's dedication to using seasonal Irish produce shines through in the kaleidoscopic veggie-packed bowls, plant-based chorizo tacos, and other flavorful offerings.
This lovely restaurant is located right on the canal dock, offering a beautiful setting for your meal with a relaxed atmosphere. 🛶 The menu features a great selection of healthy and alternative dishes, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking for something a bit different or more nutritious. 🥗 The service truly stands out, everyone is incredibly polite, attentive, and more than happy to answer any questions or offer recommendations. You really feel well taken care of here! 🥰 The portions are generous and the food is delicious, striking a perfect balance between quality and quantity. It’s an ideal spot for lunch or dinner, and while it has more of a family-and-friends vibe, it could easily work for a romantic evening as well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience you get. All in all, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant—you’ll leave satisfied and wanting to come back! 😊
Nina P — Google review
We had a lovely meal here. The hot bowls had great flavour and were a decent healthier alternative to some other local eateries. The restaurant was in a nice part of the docklands with views out over the Quay. I expected some better fresh juice options but the kombucha (from a can) wasn't too bad.
Tim J — Google review
Delicious and healthy food. Service was super quick. I ordered the chickine tostada and bone broth - the bone broth is a strong flavour but I absolutely love that, so comforting and full of nutrients. The chicken flavour of the tacos was also amazing. My friends ordered some of the bowls, looked fab as well!
Paula B — Google review
The food looked good but tasted quite bad to me. Nobody wants the chicken in their salad tastes like a stew! Also, don't expect BBQ'ed brisket. The brisket is slow cooked in a liquid resulting in a boiled texture and no detectable traditional brisket flavor! I recommend adjusting their cooking methods to better reflect their dish description.
Neda J — Google review
I really like this place! They have a really cool concept, healthy fast food that’s quick but actually good for you. I tried one of their bowls and it was full of flavour and very satisfying. The oat iced matcha was also amazing. One of the best I’ve had, so smooth and you taste the matcha. I also got one of their matcha bar and wow, very very delicious. The playlist was great and the view of the docks made everything even better. It’s such a nice spot to enjoy some good food and chill for a bit. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely come back!
Gabriela — Google review
This spot is a great choice for a quick and enjoyable pre-theater meal. The menu is diverse, featuring a wide variety of dishes and unique ingredient combinations that appeal to a modern palate. You can explore a range of options, from fresh salads to flavorful tacos. Ordering is convenient, with the choice to use a QR code at your table or order directly from the counter. Located by the canal, it's a great option for a healthy meal.

Amazing place for a nutritious bite, different, modern. The fact that you can order with the app at the table is great thing. Price is good. But well, what's affordable nowadays 🤷🏾‍♂️ Definitely a place to grab a bite and feel good. Will go again!

Nestled in the charming town of Sligo, The Best of Italy is a must-visit for gelato enthusiasts. This delightful café, run by Fabio Boni from Florence, offers an impressive selection of 12 handcrafted gelati flavors that change daily. With up to 150 unique varieties inspired by seasonal ingredients and his creative flair, you can indulge in classic favorites like vanilla and chocolate or try something adventurous like bull's blood or pina colada sorbet.
A very good shop for authentic Italian snacks and food. They have lot of fresh fruits and their bakery is amazing. They have nice ice-creams at affordable prices. Their deli couner is good and reasonably priced. Must visit this shop for some authentic Italian food. Also at their deli counter their Lasagne and Arancini are amazing. Also they have nice lunch sandwiches 🥪 and wraps priced reasonably which are delicious 😋
Mr. S — Google review
Never ever seen grano napoletano or even friarielli in a shop so I am impressed with the variety of products (although some products are non-italian which can be a bit confusing). Prices are a little high which is to be expected of course, but staff are veryyyy indifferent and slightly rude, the opposite of an Italian salumeria 🤣. It would be a lot better if the staff actually knew about the products, especially for those who are not familiar. Also most of the fresh produce is not of Italian origin so I wouldn't bother purchasing.
Mariella P — Google review
Excellent service and the very best of everything from Italy. The most amazing selection of fresh foods and sandwiches made to order. Delicious all around!

Sandwich shop
Nestled in the heart of Smithfield, Oxmantown Smithfield has been a beloved spot for sandwich lovers and soup enthusiasts alike. Known for its creative offerings, their lunchtime soups are as noteworthy as their hearty sandwiches. One standout is the Mexican tortilla soup—a zesty tomato broth brimming with mixed beans, topped with lime crema, avocado, and crispy tortillas that elevate any lunch break. Visitors often rave about the unique flavors found in their Reuben sandwich paired with the daily soup special.
Oxmantown in Smithfield is one of those hidden gems that feels like a thoughtful escape in the heart of the city. The space strikes a delicate balance between cosy and elegant — you can relax there without feeling overstimulated, but it still holds character and style. What makes it stand out is how genuine the staff are. They’re friendly, attentive, and seem to take pride in making your visit pleasant, whether you’re just getting coffee or sitting down for something more substantial. The menu leans into comfort and creativity: sandwiches, soups, salads, Lebanese flatbread, and some baked goods — all made with local, fresh ingredients and care. I especially like how their “special sandwich” changes daily, keeping things interesting. Its location is an added bonus. Right in Smithfield, it’s close to many of Dublin’s cultural spots, yet tucked away enough to feel like a little retreat. It’s easy to stop by on your way to or from somewhere else in the city. Because of this, it’s perfect for a quiet coffee, a nice lunch, or even a gentle break mid-day. Prices are a bit on the higher side, which some visitors mention. But when the service is good, the food is thoughtful, and the ambiance is calming, that extra cost feels like part of what you’re paying for — the experience, not just a sandwich. All in all, Oxmantown is a spot where you can slow down for a bit, enjoy something tasty, and soak in atmosphere. If I were you, I’d go hoping for warmth, flavour, and a chance to breathe away from the bustle.

We showed up just before closing and were served which was great. We each had a cheese toastie which was a decent size and fairly priced. Sat in the wee outdoor area attached to the counter.
Aili S — Google review
Came across Oxmantown on my way to work and stopped to get lunch to takeaway 🥪🥣 Had the Reuben sandwich + the soup of the day and I must say they were both pretty good!! Different flavors from a normal sandwich, amazing bread and a very hearty soup. 💸 My reason for the 4 stars is the price. I paid 12€ for the soup and sandwich which feels way too much for what it is ✨ However, I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area, but keep in mind that the prices are quite high!
Diana — Google review
Lovely place. I used to get coffee and pastry from here but never tried the food before. I had the cheese & onion sandwich, and it was everything I needed it to be, haha 😇 we also tried the Lebanese bowl. Compared to the sandwich, it was not as satisfactory as the sandwich was but still pretty good.

31 nov 25 - Their card machine gives tips options starting with 1euro. After I pay a not cheap coffee they served me a 18sec extraction watery coffee. I pored the whole thing down a drain on the street and buy another coffee someplace else. I work with coffee quality at Google’s campus. I have never served something that awful

Gerards Deli offers a delightful dining experience with high-quality main courses like chicken skewers and Irish Sea bass. The deli also serves takeaway coffee, sausage rolls, sandwiches, and treats at its two locations. Customers praise the friendly staff, delicious coffee, cozy atmosphere, and tasty food offerings such as croissants and sausage rolls. Visitors highly recommend Gerards Deli for its robust coffee, great food, inviting ambiance, and attentive staff that make each visit memorable.
Fantastic coffee shop with beautiful sausage rolls with a variety of flavours not your usual petrol station sausage rolls. Fantastic quick service and it's always a good sign when people are coming in and the owner greeting returning customers by their names. Returning customers is always a good sign of good service and good coffee/food. Keep up the good work we'll return again when in the area.

Came in few hours ago to grab a late breakfast. I got a toasted sandwich (forgot the name but had lots of chicken and cheese inside) and sausage roll (pork and caramelised onions) to go. The sandwich was beautiful! Perfect level of crisp from the bread and the melted cheese blended with the rest of the contents very well. Not super heavy either. The sausage roll was only consumed an hour after purchase but it was hearty, remained crispy and full of flavour. Workers were very kind and accommodating also so I’ll definitely be back!
Riya A — Google review
Excellent spot for a sandwich would highly recommend. The beef sandwich was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection. €8 is a reasonable price tag for centre of Dublin city.
Eoin B — Google review
A local spot I get lunches/breakfast for the office - and myself too! Such a great service every single time and fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads and great coffee too. They have lovely weekly special sandwiches as well. Even though I order for collection as our office is just across the street - they always just pop in and deliver it to us. It’s a pleasure to be supporting a local business who do their best for their customers!
Diana Š — Google review
The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is delicious, I’ve had my daily sausage roll with marmalade and it doesn’t disappoint! Various varieties. More seating would be nice, but no t a deal breaker.
James K — Google review
Just putting this here as information for future customers: they don't do sandwiches or any food other than some granola and sausage rolls until 11am! I couldn't find this anywhere, so maybe it's helpful to someone to avoid dissapointment. Their mocha coffee was good though. Edit after reaction from owner: a 3 star review is a perfectly neutral review. Clear information is important to me and I couldn't find any of this on your website, only a catering menu. I tried to be kind by still ordering a coffee and mentioning that it was good, because I thought that I had maybe looked over the information myself, but I still can't find it anywhere, so it's not very accessible.
Heike P — Google review
