Public beach
Lori Wilson Park is a picturesque coastal park spanning 32.5 acres along the Atlantic Ocean. It is part of the State of Florida Great Birding Trail, making it a haven for birdwatchers with sightings of various bird species. The park offers a range of amenities including beach access, pavilions, grills, dunes, boardwalks, and fishing spots.
Plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach over the dunes, and it opens up to a beautiful white soft sand, a very long and shallow beach edge, you can wade out 30 feet and just be up to your waist, Great for the little one. waves are medium to low on a good day, great for boogie boarding but not so much for surfing, there are vendors walking the beach, but my advice pack up your own snacks and beverages. no pets tho i did see a doggy living his best. Great view of the rocket launches if your lucky and the big cruise ships heading out to sea. also very sunny an umbrella is a must, grab the family and enjoy this beautiful local getaway!
S C — Google review
Loved this location, only thing that I hated was having to leave at dusk. Was so great watching the cruise ships leave and see dolphins swimming and jumping in and out of the water. Beautiful sunsets. Will go there again! Was 1 hr 10 mins from Winter Garden area.
Stefanie S — Google review
This is a great spot to park at for the beach. Its SO easy with kids, and less populated than the cocoa beach pier. In fact, if you are visiting the area and want a more quiet space for the beach without all the tourism, then this is the spot. My family has been coming here for years. The board walk is right there to the beach. Barely a walk!
Samantha M — Google review
Nice small park, older but clean bathrooms and clean beach. The parking lot is small but there are 3 different spots to park. Short walk to the beach. Definitely popular. Sadly no shells worth picking up but the kids enjoyed the water. It has a couple rinse stations too!
Maria A — Google review
We had the best time ever at this beach. It was our first time at the beach in florida. We are all students at Christ for all nations college. We sat on the beach and worshiped and we went evangelizing and leading others to christ. What a great place. The beach was absolutely amazing. We were greeted as soon as we hit the beach that has never happened to me before. We're definitely coming back to this beach. And if you live locally or if you're just coming through Florida you have got to visit Cocoa Beach
Tracey G — Google review
For me one of the best beaches in the area. It’s perfect for surfing, has clean restrooms and outdoor showers, and the entrance is uniquely beautiful with a relaxing, tropical feel. The beach is spacious, clean, and never too crowded. Best of all—parking is completely free and there’s plenty of it, unlike other beaches that charge $30 or more just to park. Whether you’re there to surf, relax, or explore the nature trails, this beach has it all. Highly recommended!
Dusan B — Google review
Great beach access, parking and a tot lot with playground the kids can use before or after catching some small waves at the beach. One of my favorite spots
Sasha L — Google review
I seriously can’t say enough good things. The beach was beautiful, the waves were perfect, and the sand was clean. Parking was free! Yes FREE! We got there about 9am on a Sunday. Parking was starting to fill up in the first lot. But there is a second lot that is further out towards the playgrounds. Bathrooms were clean and the board walk to the beach was a stunning little nature walk. The beach had tons of room so you weren’t right on top of anyone else. All around AMAZING and highly recommended!

Nestled along the stunning coastline, Shepard Park is a delightful 5-acre oceanfront oasis that beckons beach lovers and adventure seekers alike. Named in honor of the iconic astronaut Alan Shepard, this park boasts breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and serves as a prime location for witnessing thrilling space launches. With its inviting sandy shores, it’s no wonder surfers flock here to ride some of the best waves on Florida's Space Coast.
ALAN SHEPHARD PARK: Of the two Atlantic Ocean parks, Wilson & Shephard, I recommend Shephard hands-down over the perfectly nice Wilson. NOTE CAREFULLY: Virtually ALL condo bldgs / hotels on ocean side of Cocoa Bch restrict ocean access to their guests and threaten towing. Forget trying to park at any of them. Use the paid beach parking. In addition to paid parking access, clean restrooms, showers, Shephard has, among other features, two excellent restaurant/bars: the Sandbar and Twisted Tides right there--and many other nearby shops. Sandbar is a family-friendly "sports bar." Flat screens everywhere. "Seat yourself" In-door / patio seating. Serves unusual food (try fish tacos). Often live music and karaoke. Locals hang here, giving it an interesting "raffish" vibe. Twisted Tides next door is more conventional. Nice Sky Deck w/ocean views. Excellent food. ROCKET LAUNCHES: Shepard Park & beach is a good place to watch Cape Canaveral launches. After ocean-ing, drive 2 minutes over to Ron Jon Surf Shop w/free parking (if full, there's a clearly signed lot off west side of A1A.) Ron Jon is vast! Every type of beach apparel and beach accessory. Surf & bogie boards, touristy knick-knacks. You can easily spend an hour or more at RR. In Shepard Pk vicinity are virtually all the establishments needed for a comfortable day-at-the-beach. McDonald’s, Winn-Dixie Market, CVS and Walgreens. Key Lime Pie shop. MEDICAL CARE / EMERGENCIES: Medfast Urgent Care--Hours: 7:30AM-7:00PM, 7 Days a Week. Medfast is in strip mall beside 520 Causeway, 5 minute walk west from Shepard Park. I've been there 3 times. Excellent, professional medical attention. Across 520 from Medfast is, of all things, a Dinosaur museum. Intriguing! Cocoa Bch also has a "Wizard of Oz Museum!" (??) I've not been there. Why are they at CB? Don't know. But "off-beat." COCOA BEACH PIER: 1 mile north of Shephard Pk is very popular Cocoa Beach Pier. Parking varies from free to expensive, depending on...I can never figure out! Demand, I suppose. An excellent Publix Market is short drive west of pier on A1A. Being high and long, pier has BEST VIEW of rocket launches anywhere in Cocoa Beach. And you can eat / drink while watching. The beach below pier is usually crowded. However, a short walk down beach provides vast open spaces. A successful "beach sand replenishment operation" by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2025 increased beach width considerably. So, while Lori Wilson is an excellent "basic" park with its park facilities, it is...just that. Alan Shepherd provides far more with its nearby establishments. Mid-March to end of May is a great time to visit Cocoa Beach. The weather has stabilized into uniformly 80+- degree days and yet isn't blazing hot. Avoid disappointing weather December to February. Grim 50 deg days are common. Beach is virtually deserted. Also in mid-March, the World Surfing League has a Board / Beach fest surf riding contest attracting pro surfers from all over. During WSL fest, Shepherd Pk has food trucks for every conceivable taste. And a large skateboard half-pipe to keep young skater / surfers busy. Cocoa Beach, one hour drive east of Orlando International Airport / Disney / Universal, is an excellent beach town to visit. It's minutes south of the cruise ship mecca Port Canaveral. Shephard Park a good place for your beach HQ if you're not staying right on the beach. Friendly locals. All the shops one could want, Not overly built-up. Just be careful: stay away Dec - Feb when grim cold north wind weather can really dampen a beach visit.

Highly recommend, clean beach. Lifeguard covered sections. Skim board, surfing break, and shoreline fishing 🎣 friendly. Kid friendly location, but no playgrounds. Parking is behind paywall. You don't require the app, just use website. Plenty. Facilities, pavilions, ramp OR step access. Close proximity for two good eateries. Closeby regional rental locations. Beach is alcohol friendly. No glass, no grills.
B. R — Google review
One of my favorite places on earth. Not too crowded. Parking is easy. Plenty of beach showers nearby. Public toilets nearby. I can walk easily to the Sandbar for lunch. Ron Jon's is a pleasant walk away as well. Cheers!
Daniel B — Google review
Had a great time. Sunny day with no clouds, warm water and plenty of space. Easy parking and quick access to the water. Perfect day
John C — Google review
Best place to see a sunrise and stay for the day. Easily accessible bathrooms, showers and parking with short boardwalk access to the beach.
Tuesday M — Google review
This is a great beach location with lifeguards on duty but the parking is $6/hr or $25/day using an app, they retired the kiosk system. Parking is monitored and they won’t hesitate to ticket you. If you buy a spot for the day you can’t edit the session and move to another spot (to say, get closer to the restaurants on the north end of the lot). You’ll have to add another session and pay (ask me how I know 🙁). Also there are only two stalls functional in the centrally located women’s restrooms, locks on doors are broken or toilets stuffed with junk, and the toilet paper is worse than tissue paper. We used to really like this spot but the cost of parking is outrageous. Just drop your gear off near a boardwalk entrance and park across the street at Ron Jon’s for free…
Jordi E — Google review
Great beach & waves! Clean beach (thx to everyone). Restrooms, showers, parking (20.-) and bar close. Umrella, chair, bodyboard to rent (free sandtoys). Great people!
Sandra S — Google review
Loved, the sand was not as fluffy as other beaches so it made it more easier to walk on. The parking fee is well worth it because there are showers and restaurants in the parking area. The area was pretty clean, plant of trash bins and the bathroom were decent.

Nestled along Florida's stunning Space Coast, the iconic Cocoa Beach Pier is a must-visit destination that extends 800 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. This historic landmark boasts an array of vibrant restaurants, lively bars, charming gift shops, and regular live music performances that create a festive atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy beach rentals and fresh water showers while taking advantage of regulation beach volleyball courts and year-round lifeguard services.
We stopped by the Cocoa Beach Pier early in the afternoon while exploring the area and were pleasantly surprised. The pier itself is fantastic, a vibrant mix of eateries, shops, and great ocean views, all right on the beautiful, pristine beach. The beach atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a stroll or simply soaking in the coastal vibe. We were able to park right out front, which was convenient, though it cost $20. We didn’t really look for other parking options, but the ease of access made it worth it for us. Overall, it's a great spot to take in the scenery, grab a bite, and enjoy a classic Florida beach experience!
Katie — Google review
Nice clean beach with lots of shells 🐚 $20 parking. Parking lot is very close to the actual beach and there aren’t any stairs to the beach which makes it easy to bring a beach wagon. They have 2 volley ball courts. Multiple bathrooms. Chairs and umbrellas available to rent.

We recently got into cruising and our trip to cocoa beach pier was absolutely awesome there was a waiter named Harvey. I was really thankful for his service I was so impressed with him that he got me my coconut drink for me that I have been wanting everywhere we have been. My only regret is getting him to sign my coconut so I named him HARVEY after him. Wonderful experience He was really great deserving of a raise. It’s a place I would love to visit again. So Harvey you’re awesome thank you so much…from Tennessee

My wife and I stopped here late in the morning of August 15, 2025 while on a camping trip to Jetty Park a few miles to the north of it. We tried to go in the morning after breakfast, but the parking lot was closed and the attendant told us it opened at 11:00, but it was going to cost us $15 to park. I wasn't real happy about that, but we came back after checking out nearby Ron Jon Surf Shop for a few hours. It appears the Westgate Mall company bought out the pier a few years ago and has done a good job of cleaning it up and renovating it. There are several restaurants along the pier now and we dined at the giant Tiki Bar way out on the end of it. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Overall, in spite of the expensive parking fee, this is definitely a nice place to go if you are visiting Cocoa Beach.

I bought so much clothing from one of those shops! The word Threads was in it, I don't remember. I bought all my souvenirs there, clothing, jewelry. I ate at Pier 52, it was awesome!! I had the Gator Melt.
Melanie D — Google review
Cocoa Beach Pier is the spot to be—lively, full of energy, and with amazing waves, especially on the right side of the pier. Spent a month here and loved every minute. Great surf, ocean views, and a vibrant atmosphere make it unforgettable for locals and visitors alike.
Miguel G — Google review
Beach is clean. Expect crowds. We took our beach blanket and stuff but there are chairs and umbrella rentals in the beach. Thing is all those close at 5pm, then they collect them back. There were washrooms, we were able to change clothes in them. Enough space for that but not too clean. There were showers to wash off sand. Also there were gift shops and restaurants. We were able to buy some beers and food. Don’t forget to take your ID for that. 1 beer for 1 ID. Other than sunbathing saw people surfing, playing volleyball as well.
Tharindi D — Google review
Excellently well maintained, there are ice cream shops, souvenirs stores, a restaurant , restrooms and some space to walk and admire the ocean and the beach and the surfers. Really refreshing to go up there 100% recommended . It’s Free. Opens with good weather because if there is a bit of bad weather it will be closed for safety.

The Florida Surf Museum, located within the Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, is a treasure trove of East Coast surfing history. The museum showcases vintage boards, official documents, and various artifacts that offer insight into the rich surfing culture of Florida. Visitors can explore exhibits on the evolution of surfing, local surfers, iconic surf spots, and an impressive collection of boards. With both permanent displays and seasonal rotating exhibits, there's always something new to discover at this homage to East Coast surfing.
Great little stop if you’re at Ron Jon’s. Free, one room museum. They’ve got some cool pieces of history including Kelly Slater’s first Pipeline Masters trophy in all its rough glory. Worth a quick stop.
Mike M — Google review
Nice little museum. Nothing but surf boards. Still it was informative. Right next door to Ron John's Surf Shop.
Scott R — Google review
It's a nice little museum with a few exhibits that give a little background to the history of surfing in Cocoa Beach. There isn't much in here, but there is some history to be absorbed in the exhibits. It's crazy to see how long those surfboards are!
Luis V — Google review
This should not be called a Museum. It literally has 1 historic item on display.
Jonathan S — Google review
Really just a big room.... was underwhelmed but it was FREE
Tim U — Google review
It was cool to check out and see the boards of some famous surfing celebrities. It is only one room, but decent sized. We did not read the reviews beforehand, so we were slightly underwhelmed. Still nicely displayed, and we'll kept. Might be worth poking your head in to this exhibit if you are already in the area. It is free.
Jobie B — Google review
Definitely not worth the 30 min drive I made, calling this a "museum" is a helluva stretch. Just a few random boards, framed photos but no context. Mostly an empty room. The staff in the store wasn't particularly friendly either.
Clayton M — Google review
This is not your typical museum but more like an exhibit however we knew this based on the reviews from here. I'm not a HUGE surfer kind of person but I do enjoy reading and learning about stuff. This is located inside the Ron Jon Rental shop, the staff was kind and asked right away if we needed help and pointed us to the direction of the museum. There are cool historic surf boards and pics of historical surfers and pictures. Again, I don't follow these people's careers but it was really nice to read how young these guys and girls were and how history was made in local cocoa Beach and seeing how small the surf boards were. Overall we had a great time reading through history, learning about them and letting the Florida thunderstorms pass. It was all good. There's probably more that can be done there to make it better but overall for it being free and by donation only, it was great.

Robert P. Murkshe Memorial Park is a beloved two-acre oceanfront destination in Cocoa Beach, operated by Brevard County. It offers ample picnic areas and easy access to the water. The park is named after a former mayor of Cocoa Beach and features plenty of amenities for visitors to enjoy. With its planked boardwalk and lush surroundings, the beach at 16th Street South provides direct access to this local favorite, which is popular among both locals and tourists alike.
Nice little park with picnic table, restrooms and beach access. Only a dozen parking spots plus a couple handicapped spots, but lots of other small parks nearby. Clean park and beach
Robert B — Google review
We were hunting a more secluded beach at Cocoa beach. This park/ publix beach access was perfect! Because it is in a residential area rather than a hotel area there were not a lot of people, mainly polite families scattered here and there. It was exactly what we were hunting. And there was a spot to wash the sand off of your feet and a public bathroom that was cleaner than most public beach bathrooms.
Cheryl H — Google review
Great spot to spend some time at the beach! Calm, not too crowded.
Elijah S — Google review
Great place to see dolphins and jellyfish. Lots of people fishing and my daughter did swim under the bridge
Ashley B — Google review
Dogs allowed, however, upon exiting the parking lot and approaching the little pedestrian footbridge to the beach there is a large sign that says no dogs!?!?! If you keep walking, cross the footbridge, and turn left once you hit the sand, there is a sign (see my photos here) that says dog friendly beach!!! But dogs are only permitted from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. and then 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (unless it's daylight savings time, then you can take your dog until 9:00 p.m.) See my photos for the sign about dog hours. Human Hours: Dawn to dusk. There are public restrooms off of the parking lot (steps away from the beach). The parking lot holds about 25 cars. Only 3 spaces used at sunrise when we visited!
Mike D — Google review
Go to the left of the entrance and it's a dog friendly beach! My pups had the BEST TIME exploring the waves and meeting other pups. So fun highly recommend. So it's dog friendly before 10am and after 4pm daily, no parking fee.
Grace C — Google review
Perfect spot to watch the sun rise! Limited parking but if you get there early it's just a quick walk to the open beach! My puppies loved it here and the beach area is very well maintained. Many folks patrol the area watching for new sea turtle nests and to make sure the current nests are not disturbed.
Melissa P — Google review
Beautiful beach! It wasn't as crowded as other beach locations nearby. Not as much parking space. The water was beautiful and people were swimming. In spite if that, today, the shore was covered in Portuguese man o' war jellyfish.

Sidney Fischer Park is a serene oceanfront destination located in Cocoa Beach, offering a tranquil retreat for visitors. Spanning 10 acres, the park provides ample space for privacy and relaxation. It features shaded picnic pavilions, showers, a playground for children, and well-maintained restrooms. Named after former mayor Sidney Fischer, the park is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and well-kept facilities.
Great beach with plenty of parking when other main beaches are full. There is a outdoor beach shower at the entrance to the raised walkway leading to the beach. Clean bathroom and changing facility. Parking is $20 for the full day or pay by the hour, but why when you know you are going to want to stay all day!

Well what we were able to see was nice. They were impacted by the hurricane. I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's all back together.
RENEE S — Google review
Great place to go to the beach, shower up and then have a barbecue in the provided grills and pavilions. The only issue I noticed was that there was a lot of bird poop on the picnic tables, but I brought a battery operated pressure washer with a 5 gallon container of water and was able to wash enough tables for what I needed.. great location just remember you have to pay for parking but if you’re going to be there all day it’s cheaper just to pay at the machine instead of using the app because the App keep charging you five dollars for every hour. So if you are using the app and you’re over five hours, you will keep paying more than if you had just paid at the machine.
Jim C — Google review
It has free parking and it is clean. Has everything you need as a family or by yourself to make this your “camp” for a sweet time at the Cocoa Beach. Provides Bathrooms and park benches for picnics as well as a shower for after beaching.
Mathias F — Google review
Super clean beach and awesome sand. There was plenty of parking but it was five dollars per hour. Totally worth the drive over from Orlando!
Matthew J — Google review
BONUS- several showers to clean off all the sand, if you park in this lot then right off the boardwalk there are chair and umbrella rentals if needed. Parking- non shaded parking, pay parking that's right now $5 then additional for every hour. Beach access- super easy access from a boardwalk right to the coast. This is our go-to when visiting Florida. It is right next to the iconic Cocoa beach Ron Jon's and is a staple for us! The lot is so easy to park at and it's just a little walk over a wooden board walk to the beach. ALWAYS recommend keeping sandals on because that sand is burning hot. Every single time, lol. There are always beautiful shells to find here.

Overall, it's a great spot to take in the scenery, grab a bite, and enjoy a classic Florida beach experience!

Cocoa Beach Pier is the spot to be—lively, full of energy, and with amazing waves, especially on the right side of the pier. Spent a month here and loved every minute. Great surf, ocean views, and a vibrant atmosphere make it unforgettable for locals and visitors alike.

I bought so much clothing from one of those shops! The word Threads was in it, I don't remember. I bought all my souvenirs there, clothing, jewelry. I ate at Pier 52, it was awesome!! I had the Gator Melt.

When visiting Cocoa Beach, make sure to stop by the iconic Ron Jon Surf Shop. This two-story shop is a must-visit for beach enthusiasts, offering a wide range of products including surfboards, swimwear, apparel, and beach accessories for men, women, and children. You can also find an array of souvenirs such as magnets, mugs, and home decor items.
This store lived up to the hype with a ton of great merchandise. We're not from the area and I imagined this store would be a little gimmicky, but I was so wrong. The store has so much to offer. We all got some shorts and other small things, but could've walked out with so much more. I really liked the beach-safe "glassware" made from silicone. They had plenty to offer from other brands than their own. The staff members were super friendly. The store was very clean and well-organized. Definitely stop in if you're in the area!!!

Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach is more than just a store—it’s a Florida icon. Open 24 hours a day, this massive, multi-level surf shop is a must-see for anyone visiting the Space Coast. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the fun, beachy vibe that defines coastal living. They carry everything from high-quality surfboards, boogie boards, and skateboards to swimwear, flip-flops, sunglasses, beach gear, and souvenirs. Whether you’re an experienced surfer or just want a Ron Jon T-shirt to take home, this place has you covered. The store is bright, clean, and well-organized, with helpful staff ready to assist. The sheer size and selection are impressive, and there’s a bit of something for everyone—clothing for men, women, and kids, beach toys, even home décor and accessories. It’s also a great stop even if you’re not shopping—just walking through the colorful displays and memorabilia is part of the experience. Parking is easy, and it’s located just a short walk from the beach and other fun Cocoa Beach attractions. A true destination in itself, Ron Jon is a must-stop for locals, tourists and surf lovers too.

Ron Jon Surf Shop is one of my all-time favorite places to shop! It’s absolutely HUGE—two stories of endless fun and an amazing shopping experience. Whether you’re into clothes, surfboards, active sports gear, shoes, outdoor essentials, souvenirs, or even local makers’ products, they truly have anything and everything. I always end up spending hours in there exploring. On top of that, the property itself is just as fun as the inside! They’ve incorporated awesome statues and photo spots that make for perfect backdrops—my favorites are the tiki guys. Just a street over there’s also a quaint pavilion that’s beautiful for photos… or you can get goofy and use the wooden post in the center as a silly prop. ✨ Pro Tip: Ron Jon doesn’t really advertise this, but if you’re a Florida resident, let them know at checkout and show your ID—you’ll get a special Florida discount! This place isn’t just a store, it’s an experience—and one I never miss when I’m nearby. 🏄‍♀️🌴📸

Made a visit to Cocoa Beach today, walked around and stopped at Ron Jon's. Love all the T-shirts and hats, purchased some new Reef flip flops since mine were 6 years old, they were way more expensive than my last purchase! But worth it since they are a great product. Everyone should visit while in Cocoa, we are local and stop in now and then m

What can I say? This is an American classic when you’re in Florida or New Jersey you have to stop by and buy something. They have a lot of nice brands and a very nice clean store. Three floors of predominantly surf stuff but also a bunch of other stuff you might not need, but you’re just going to buy anyway because you’re on vacation Plenty of parking outback.

Ron Jon isn't just a brand; it's a legacy etched into the soul of surf culture, a sentiment deeply ingrained since my dad's days and now mine. Growing up in all over this elaborate country, we represented Ron Jon through Yetis, Luggage, and vehicles, but it wasn't a trend; it was a statement, an emblem of authentic beach vibes. Ron Jon's ascent to surf shop royalty isn't by chance; it's a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality and style. Beyond Cocoa Beach, they're crafting immersive experiences, turning stores into amusement parks where the tour itself is the ride. The aroma, the smiles, the carefully curated aesthetics—it's more than a store; it's a portal to a perpetual beach state of mind. Their inventory is a treasure trove of innovation, boasting an array of intelligent merch and colorways poised to dominate shores. And the surfboards? Sculpted to conquer the fiercest waves while maintaining that elusive balance. Though the recent passing of founder Ron DiMenna at 88 leaves a void, his spirit thrives within Ron Jon, permeating every beach and surf break. This location captures that essence flawlessly, from the attentive staff to the captivating art and interior design, offering a multifaceted experience. I eagerly anticipate my return, credit card in hand, ready to immerse myself further in the Ron Jon experience.

Absolutely huge store. I got separated from my husband at one point and he had to call me on the phone because it was so big he couldn't find me. The sale items are upstairs but the prices for shirts etc are reasonable in my opinion and the selection is huge. so many different brands they carry here.

Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar is a lively tavern located on the pier, offering a diverse menu that includes seafood, burgers, and a full bar with sake cocktail offerings. The restaurant has recently undergone a complete transformation and now features a new outdoor seating area with roll-up windows, allowing guests to enjoy stunning oceanfront views and Florida sunsets.
I had a party of seven and we chose to sit outside. I’m so glad we did. The weather was so nice and the view was phenomenal. The food though really blew us away. We ordered the Florida gator burger, the fried shrimp, the shrimp tacos, and the chowder fries. 10/10 delicious. The portions are a little small but the taste and quality more than make up for that. As this place is located on the pier you can take a long walk on the beach afterwards. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Cocoa Beach.

Food came out lightning fast, everything was delicious. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, my wife had the blackened fish taco, we also had the smoke fish dip appetizer. It was all delicious. Our server was great, no complaints. Definitely recommend. And we're Jamaicans so we have a taste for flavorful food. So you can trust our pallets.

We stopped by Pier 62 for lunch and couldn't have picked a better spot. Located right at the end of the pier, the restaurant offers stunning panoramic views of Cocoa Beach all the way to the cruise terminal. Despite a bit of wind and overcast skies (typical Florida weather!), the experience was still fantastic. Our server greeted us promptly and provided excellent service throughout. We each had a beer and shared the turkey on rye sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. It came with their signature fries, and the portion was more than enough for two people. No complaints at all, great food, friendly service, and unbeatable views. If I find myself back in Cocoa Beach, I’ll definitely return for another relaxing lunch.

We went to the pier to check it out and see what they had to offer. Beautiful sights, plenty of seating outside to watch the water and surfers. We enjoyed the sunshine and the pier. 20.00 for public parking, and they allow no outside drinks once you are on the pier. We were asked to throw away our waters even. However, the drinks at the bar were delicious, the orange cake was a perfect treat. The servers were all super friendly as well.

Oh my cocoa beach ⛱️ pier!!! Family member, whom lives in Orlando took me there for visit ans lunch! Nice little quaint family-friendly beach in Orlando that has a restaurant on site with a pier where you can eat 🍸 and enjoy the ocean breezes, see the families enjoying the beach together!! Had a hard time deciding what to eat, finally chose Gator burger 🍔 , coleslaw slaw, she had fish tacos 🌮, slaw! We both enjoyed. Be prepared for parking, all day $15 or pay by hour, which is $6/hr. Nice experience!!

The tavern also offers a great kids menu for families.
Great place to sit down, relax, and have a meal or a drink (or both). Nice atmosphere along with a nice ocean breeze. Food was great! I had the fried shrimp with fries, which to me were more like small seasoned potatoes wedges. Both were tasty. My wife got the Kahakai firecracker shrimp tacos.(also tasty). Our children got the Honey Dusted Nashville chicken sandwich, a sushi roll and a southwest bowl. Food was delicious. Service was great! We will more than likely come back on our next trip.

Turns out that they're not used to a high number of customers So the staff took longer than normal, with most tables full. It took us to get our drinks 5 minutes and about 15 minutes. To get our orders in and the food came out about 20 minutes. However, the food was great. I had the fish sandwich. Everything was good. The fries was good. Everybody else enjoyed their meal. The tap water that they used was horrible you can definitely taste the chlorine or whatever cleaning agent. That's in there. The atmosphere was nice, kind of key.Westy but neglected I saw a lot of damage from the previous storm. Not repaired. Just a kind of chill environment I'm not sure I would come back.

We are visiting from Maryland and wanted to find someplace on the water for some dinner and drinks. We stumbled upon Riki Tiki Tavern and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent and fast. We never waited for drinks even though she was busy. Highly recommend!!

Went to the Rikki Tikki Tavern to hang out at the beach and went here for a beer and some lunch. It was nice cause was within walking distance of the holiday inn express i was stayin at. The bartender was super friendly and amazing. I had the best blackened grouper sandwich with some seasoned pasta salad side and a IPA beer. Really nice view of the ocean, beach and off in the distance you can see the launch pads at John F. Kennedy Space Center. It was nice and breezy at the bar so wasn't incredibly hot even though it was hot if your under the sun. It was a cute bar with a good selection of food and beers. Definitely recommend if you happen to be in Coca Beach.

Located at the end of the Cocoa Beach Pier, this bar has amazing views. There is plenty of seating, shaded and in the sun. The bar is over the water so you can see down the beach and watch the surfers and beach goers. There are plenty of drink options and although we didn’t eat, the food items looked fabulous, especially the sushi options. The bar was clean, given it is located outside. There is a nice breeze. There are some birds flying around, but it adds to the atmosphere. They are not flying into your food.

Embark on an unforgettable journey with Cocoa Beach Catamaran, where you can immerse yourself in Florida's breathtaking waterways. This luxurious sailing experience allows you to spot dolphins, manatees, and a variety of wildlife in their natural surroundings. Whether you're a novice or an experienced sailor, you'll have the chance to engage with the crew by raising sails and even taking the helm for a hands-on adventure. The comfort and relaxation offered during this private excursion are unparalleled.
Our experience with Cocoa Beach Catamaran was SIMPLY FANTASTIC! Captains Don & Speedy were amazing. You liberally felt like we all old friends going out on a boat ride together. The group size was perfectly intimate and wonderful. Captains Don & Speedy did not rush the experience at all. They took time to point out wildlife such as water fowl, dolphins and manatees and to slow the boat speed down to enjoy seeing the wildlife. We couldn't believe just how many DOLPHINS we saw! And seeing MANATEES was another incredible surprise. This entire experience absolutely exceeded our expectations! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this! Thank you Captains Don & Speedy and Cocoa Beach Catamaran for a beautiful life experience that we will cherish always.

Some great restaurant recommendations for afterwards as well. This was the highlight of everyone’s holiday, even after going to the theme parks.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kris and Nate were absolutely amazing captains! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure our group was safe, comfortable, and having the best time. We set sail right into the sunset, and it felt magical—dolphins swimming alongside us, great music playing, and the perfect vibe for unwinding after a beach day. The catamaran itself was spacious with plenty of comfortable lounge spots, room to move around, and even convenient restrooms below deck. Everything about the setup made us feel like first-class celebrities. What made it even better was that it was a Sunday evening cruise—it was the perfect way to close out an epic day at the beach without a single thought of Monday creeping in. Just relaxation, laughter, and memories we’ll keep forever. To top it off…a percentage of each tour goes to preserve the Indian River Lagoon. If you’re ever in Cocoa Beach, do yourself a favor and book with Cocoa Beach Catamaran. You’ll get the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation with a crew that truly cares. 🌅🐬⛵️

The attraction features two 18-hole tropical-themed putt-putt courses with challenging obstacles to navigate. Visitors can also enjoy the opportunity to feed live alligators from a safe distance and even hold baby gators or snakes for an extra thrill.
This place was so fun! We brought our friends who were visiting from out of state, and everyone loved it. The mini golf course was really entertaining, and at the end, you even get the chance to hold a gator or take a photo with a live one. Definitely a unique and cool activity to check out!

We took our 3 kids ages 6-11 and everyone had a blast! My middle child didn't want to go because he didn't think he'd like it or be good, and he ended up having the best time of all. We took the easier course, but I love that there was another option. The course was perfect for our boys ages, with a few unexpected twists. After putt putt we did the mining and had some great finds! The boys were really excited about arrowheads, crystals, shark teeth, fossils and so many cool gems! After that we saw the baby gators, snakes and other animals. All in all a great experience.

Inexpensive family fun! We did some mini golf and looked at the animals they had insight. We talked with the owner for awhile and he was very nice and seemed to enjoy telling us about the animals he had onsite as well as the invasive lizards etc we saw on the course. Nice way to spend some time

My kids and I visited Oct 19 2025. I give 3 stars. The workers are pretty nice. They have dispensers of food you can feed the tortoises and gators. There are live gators around the course (contained of course). However, it was NOT product that was worth the price. Especially not for how fast the course can be played. It's a nice memory but would likely not return.

Had exactly what our family group of 6 (aged 25 - 64) were hoping, plus more! Fun mini golf Mountain course, we did 2 groups girls vs guys (girls won!) Then 4 of us did bundle with go-karts. Track was fun with Mario game features. Be sure to bring closed toe shoes! The added bonus was seeing gators and other reptiles! The 2 non drivers had a can of beer (which they sell). Arcade looked fun, but we had to get to a dinner reservation. Fun activity for vacationers!
Cherie W — Google review
Great course in excellent shape. There were 2 course options that were 18 holes each, or you could do both. We chose the caves course. The other was "mountains," I think. A few holes had a wheel you could spin for an added challenge. Then, right outside the office alongside the courses was a knowledgeable person with various animals to view, such as baby alligators, snakes, tarantulas, and very chatty parrots. Before we left, we wanted to buy sodas in the office, but the lady at the counter was locked into her phone and had no idea we had asked her a few times how much the drinks cost so we left. Overall, a great place to mini golf.

Best family fun we had on vacation. If you are close to Cocoa Beach FL ever, do yourself a favor & drop in. Staff was friendly. We played mini golf and met the animals, which are living well. We met Safari Todd. This guy is great. Down to earth and really cares about the animals. We will be going back to ride gocarts & spend more time with all the birds & gators.

The Florida Key Lime Pie Company features a variety of Key Lime Pie and Ice Cream flavors, as well as various Key Lime Beers, Cooler Cookies, Candies, Chocolates and Pretzels. There is also local Gator Jerky and Python Jerky for sale.
A must visit for Cocoa! Right across from the street entrance for Ron Jons, this little gem will impress. Amazing decor with painted fish on the ocean floor to the colorful sheet metal fish on the ceiling and for sale in the next room. There's lots to look at. But the store lives up to its name as well. Key Lime everything! My favorite was the absolutely delicious saltwater taffy. Sold separately by flavor / weight, each clearly labeled in its own bin.

There is a great variety of Key lime and other Florida flavors. I envisioned being there all day -until I saw all the Trump stuff. Decor and fundraising (for what I don't know). Big turn off. I bought the few things I had, including some Key Lime pie, which was OK, but I love Publix Key Lime pie much more. (All key lime pie is measured against Publix.) Sorry guys. Won't be back.

10/10 recommend checking out The Florida key Lime Pie Company! The store is decorated very well and they have many delicious options such as key lime pie, out of the ordinary taffy flavors, cream pies, and random candy, jerky and other items. On top of that, they have Trump items all over the place! They even have a cardboard cutout of Trump and Melania. How awesome is that! Will for sure be returning.
Miley G — Google review
The lady working there at about 4 was not very friendly. There is only a small selection of ice cream. It's a shame cuz the store is really cute. $3.95 for one small scoop of ice cream. I probably would have been a solid 4 stars if the staff was cheerful or peppy a bit. Seemed a little rude unfortunately.
Patricia ( — Google review
Love the variety of key lime and coconut products. This place has more than just key lime. It also has local honey, hot sauce, beef jerky and other treats. But key lime is where it shines. The key lime pretzels were amazing and I liked the slice of key lime pie! I don't know if it's the best but it was good! The little key lime puffs are freeze dried Taffy and they are good but not my favorite (as texture). The reason for the lower review score would be the olde, larger gentleman (owner I presume) was being rude to his employee. I didn't like the way he spoke to her when she was clearly busy. She was friendly and I have no complaints with her service. Does make you wonder if someone is rude to their employees in public, what they do behind closed doors. However, I cannot judge by one day. Perhaps it was a stressful day. I think the shop itself is a nice place and if you have a chance, try the key lime pretzels they are amazing! They also have other key lime products not mentioned such as ice cream and fudge.

Not sure what the rave is about. Tried the key lime pie….and rate it a 1 star at best. Not tart, no lime taste, no whipped cream…..the pies in Key West are so much better. Asked the cashier and she said the pies aren’t even made here….so they are generic bought from someone else? Only reason it has customers is because it’s located next to the busy Ron Jon Surf Shop. Was looking for a tasty dessert and didn’t find it.

Escape Cocoa Beach offers an exciting real-life adventure for small groups, families, friends, or couples. It is considered one of the top activities in Cocoa Beach, Florida, especially on rainy days. Participants have 60 minutes to uncover hidden items, solve puzzles and crack codes in order to escape from a locked room. There are four themed escape room experiences available: Jail Break, Rocket Science, Bank Heist, and Mystery of the Black Dahlia.
This place is awesome! We booked The Florida Man room, and it was a lot of fun. So much fun, that on our way out my husband and son asked if we should do their Bancock room too. We did end up going back later that day to escape that room as well. On both games we had about 10 minutes to spare before the time runs out to escape. Belle was the absolute sweetest, patient, and helpful game host ever!! Don't hesitate to try out this spot. You won't regret it.

My husband and I loved visiting escape rooms whenever we travel and just so happen to find this when we were honeymooning at Cocoa Beach! We tried the Bangkok room the first night and had a ton of fun, so the next day went back to try Florida Man room as well! It was fun and interesting since the owners build the room out from scratch so it's not something we can find anywhere else! Great experience and highly recommend trying out!

Amazing experience for my family and me during our vacation. Perfect experience to have during a rain break will away, highly recommended. Visited the establishment and was welcomed with open arms by staff. Their professionalism shined through during our experience.
Jimmie K — Google review
This was an amazing experience and will definitely be back to do more as the harder ones are built and opened! The staff was amazing and soo very patiently kind! Some of our group was running late due to a funeral recession, and they very much understood the short tardiness and still allowed us to enjoy the fun we all came to have!!

Had an awesome time today, our game master was so much fun and kept us on track without giving away to much. Such a great activity to do for the locals but also for those waiting for their cruise ship 😁 aka us. Will definitely be back-Dan
Daniel D — Google review
I had a wonderful time at this escape room! The Bangkok prison experience was very challenging and had us double triple checking every clue, and the clue master was great at guiding us without giving us the answer. Would definitely love to return!
Kaitlynn S — Google review
This was a great room and experience! My two daughters and I love escape rooms and finished the Locked Up in Bangkok in 38 minutes. I will say I was expecting a little bit more puzzles and boxes to unlock but other than that, it was great. Our gamemaster was nice and gave us hints only when we needed it!
Sabrina V — Google review
We were visiting from Kentucky and my granddaughter wanted to do an escape room. The couple there was very nice and we had a great time. We had done some before but this was by far our favorite.

Beachside Grand Prix in Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral offers an exhilarating go-kart experience for all ages. The large outdoor track is designed for safe speed and thrills, with fully electric karts reaching speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. The track features classic twists, turns, and vertical challenges with hills, providing a test of driving skills. It's perfect for friendly matches or high-speed competitions with friends and family.
We had a blast with the kids (7 years old) and even the adults laughed like children on the go karts! Definitely recommend for a fun time with the family! Wear closed toe shoes so you don’t have to rent shoes or buy them. Simple and fun for all!!!
Christine B — Google review
My kart wasn't speeding, everyone was speeding and having fun. I try ask for help but nobody pay attention, in the last lap i stopped again and complained, the crew guy fix my kart and started running fine after that. But just for one lap, my kid that was w me was disappointed. ARCADE game is small w a few games and a few out of order games.. But the sad part of this experience was to saw beautiful birds in small cages just for entertainment..i appreciate the effort of rescue birds from bad/tired owners however but for what i saw those animals still in small cages and suffering .
Marin S — Google review
Horrible experience. The young worker was 100% unprofessional in providing customer service. There was no manager on duty on the weekend. So we asked for another person to talk to, an older gentleman. He was as rude as the young lady. It was a simple service of riding go carts and foot wear.
Wil O — Google review
Awesome place to go with the family. Lots to do but my favorite part was defiantly the go karts. There special Mario go karts with stickers on the ground that boost up ur speed or slows u down or takes coins from u. Really cool. Also enjoyed feeding the alligators that was a first for me. You put the sausages on a hook and wait till they bite. The kids loved taking pictures w/ baby alligators. There is not a one price fee, each adventure has its own price. They also have a candy shop inside & they serve alcoholic beverages such as beer & wine 🙃..

Had fun with my wife and parents. It was hot today but it was a lot of fun. Nothing as easy as you think and then there's the gators. They are fun to see especially if you have kids. Get that Groupon while they have it save some money.
Todd O — Google review
According to my sister, who lives here, it was redone at one point do the course was new to her. The course we did was fun and played well. Nothing too terribly hard. And theres a bunch of little gators in the water as you putt around =)
Jennifer C — Google review
Very impressed with this new soon on go-karting :-) In addition to these being new and well-kept electric karts - they have mario-kart-like features where you can get speed boosts by driving over some symbols and avoiding others!!! They spray down the karts between races (each lasts 8 minutes). Even though it's a little pricey - I would recommend two races since it takes at least one race to figure the best use of the symbols and buttons. Oh - AND there's mini-golf and other wildlife/attractions onsite.

Amazing race track, can't believe it! Lol. Fed the little gators, golf was great! Staff is very helpful and very knowledgable

Thousand Islands is a protected area undergoing restoration, once used for mosquito control. It's perfect for paddling around the islands and through mangrove tunnels. The experience feels delightfully random with no marked trails, yet it's easy to navigate. Kayaking here offers encounters with manatees near the boat launch and opportunities to explore hidden spots.
Nice park. Board walk along the water front to fish from and dock boats. Ramps to launch canoes and kayaks.
Tim — Google review
Very nice & Quiet place for enjoying nature, bring bug repellants. You will need it.
V P — Google review
Loved the water and mangroves. The kayak launch was great, close to parking and easy to launch. The bathrooms were locked even though we were there during hours where they were supposed to be open. There were 3 portable units there but there was no tissue or facilities to wash your hands or even sanitize them. Today was the air show so we had an extra treat with the planes soaring overhead.
Sandra K — Google review
I have been here 3 times on my kayak to go fishing after being told there was endless reds to catch, and so far it’s not living up to the hype. It is an otherwise nice place to just enjoy the scenery and wildlife, we’ve seen manatees every time and lots of birds . Not such luck fishing , and believe me it feels like I’ve went to all “thousand islands” as much as we kayaked around .
Ajax8889 H — Google review
This is a great place for kayaking with lots of mangroves and the manatees hang out not far from the boat launch. The kayak rental place delivers kayaks right to a local church. If you launch from there, this is where the manatees are located. The channel is not marked well but go to your right and stay right and you'll get to a whole new spot where there is an island with a small dock you can pull kayaks up onto island. There is a geocache on this island. Beautiful homes in here and we saw some people on paddle boards too.
Donna A — Google review
Exceptional experience, lots of wildlife and wonderful weather 😀
Nicholas S — Google review
Swimming under the trees is so awesome! It gets a little tough to paddle at times, but that just adds to the experience. Once you leave the trail, it gets difficult to paddle, only for a short distance though.
Briton K — Google review
This is a Paddling Trail accessed via kayak or canoe from the nearby boat ramp. Trail is through the mangrove tunnels and is a very easy paddle. The marker shows a map of the trail, overall pretty easy paddle.

Cocoa Beach is a favorite annual destination for many, offering beautiful sunsets and breathtaking ocean views. While some may find disappointment in certain dining options, the overall experience of visiting this beach is described as relaxing and enjoyable. Despite setbacks like COVID-19 restrictions, visitors look forward to returning to this beloved spot year after year.
We try to go to cocoa every year. COVID unfortunately did not allow that last year. We finally made it! It’s my favorite place in the world to be honest with you. Captain J’s was the only thing I could say was severely disappointing. A waste of money and 50% less portions than last time. Don’t bother doing. Save your cash, energy & appetite, get something else. Other than that we always enjoy ourselves. Until next year CB ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
