The place is huge and has a big capacity to accept many people. I was by myself, but they were so friendly and helped me to have some good authentic food! The owner came out to say hi to each table which was so sweet :) oh and the beer was great😋

Great food. Especially the farofa that is amazing. The french fries are good but I think that there's to much corn starch. The restaurant have an little great musiam, a little store, is very artistic, it's well illuminated, have a crocodile statue and one well. But the food it's expensive. The waiters are nice and the food wait is medium.

Juanita! The top on all levels and I can say the best in bonito. The vibes were amazing during the cold rainy weather. They have a nice playground for kids. The food was amazing, there were live music. And all plates related to the alligator meat were amazing. I highly recommend it. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

We came here twice, for lunch and dinner. Lunch was really nice, so we decided to come back for dinner. It was a bit noisy at night, but we still had a good time.

We went to Juanita on the basis that it is the best restaurant in Bonito and we were not disappointed. We loved it so much that we went twice. On the first occasion we got a table straight away and each had an individual meal - the Pintado a Urucum and the Filè à Parmegiana. On the second occasion (a Saturday evening) we had to wait 25 minutes or so but we enjoyed a drink while we were waiting. We then shared the Pacu na Brasa for 2 people (which is enough for 3 or 4 people if you have a couple of starters) - the fish was perfectly grilled and flavoured. Juanita has great cocktails too (strawberry and mango mules were had) and the beers were crispy cold (glasses coming out of a -28°C fridge). There was even a special appearance by Juanita herself, sharing their reataurant specialty (aligator tongue) with guests (was delicious!). Great staff service all round!

Very good food but a quite unpleasant experience. Noisy environment (almost impossible to chat) and zero cordiality from the host, maître d', and cashier. No parking and not even someone with an umbrella to accompany to the car, even with a bill of 500 reais (2 adults, 2 kids). There was a strong rain and they made a wrong promise to help with it that never happened. Parmigiana and Pirarucu were excellent. Room overly cold due to the strong AC unit blowing unevenly. Our order was messy. I had to ask 3 times for the same juice that was never coming. I still believe this is a good place due to the reviews, but at this only time I've been there we felt we were just a problem they had to handle so despite the very positive reviews from other people I must be true to the experience I was provided.

Very nice hotel with spa area. There are several buildings, each with a few spacious rooms. There is a separate building with a pool, workout area, massage, and sauna. Although the equipment is basic, it is a nice touch. Meals are great. The breakfast is very delicious with eggs, cakes, pastries, and fruit. It would be nice to have some vegetables as well (tomatoes, cucumber...). As the meals are very diary and meat heavy. Staff is just soooooo nice.

Sometimes you believe the hotel won't be that good because you haven't heard people saying it is nice with a great spectrum of amusements. That was my feelings at the time I booked the hotel room. Well, I was mistaken. This hotel was, most likely, the nicest one, within walk distance from downtown Bonito, I've ever been. Apart of that, I consider it the best bang for the buck within Bonito. There are pretty beautiful hotels in Bonito, some offer private swimming pools, but they don't have so much green trees, nice atmosphere, kind attendants, helpful people, polite customers, delicious meals, including the free Pantaneiro lunch break at 4:30PM, and large and confortable rooms. Having said that, go for it. Stop thinking about booking another hotel. I, for one, definetely come back.

Pretty good rooms within walking distance of the main square. Saw quite a few species of birds there, and we even saw a pair of toucans that flew into the yard and started feeding, as we were having our breakfast. Not all staff speaks English, but we didn't find it to be too much of a problem

Amazing activity for kids and adults! The small kids can stay in the boat which is super safe and you swim the sucuri river snorkeling and enjoying the crystal clear water. The experience is amazing and the zip line at the end was the star of the show. The main entrance has a large pool and restaurant. You can also go check the animals as part of the compound. It is really a full day activity and the kids can swim in the pool. The weather was not great when we went during June. So we recommend it during the summer time around Feb or March you might get better weather.

It's very close to the centre of Bonito. The prices of the tour cost around R$350 on most agencies. It was an amazing experience to swim with the fish in this beautiful river. The equipment is professional and comfortable. The guide gave us small training before going to the river. It's not mandatory to know how to swim.

This place has two pools, a restaurant, a little theater (that has 0 use). It's a nice place, but I went to places where that were cheaper and with nicer views. The water of the river is amazing, and you can see some kinds of fish, the service is also pretty good, and our guide was amazing, but there are better places, in better states for less money, and the package for the photos is very tricky, you pay certain amount for photos, but at the end of the day you could end up with 0 photos under the water because the photographer forgot to take photos of you, and they don't refund the money.

The hike part we really nice for kids - a chance to see caimans and ant eaters, etc However, in this area there are river segments that are so much kore beautiful for floatation/snorkeling.

I would say great facility and service! The actual experience of floating in crystal clear water of the river, snorkeling and the encounter with the fishes, superb! The trail is short and though the temperature was still very hot in April, the path is shaded by trees. Plus, the water in the river was refreshing after the walk. Do not forget to bring repellant (opt for the environment friendly ones). Like ALL the official tours/destinations in Bonito, you have to book this one with an agency. Agencies have more or less the same pricing. For those who do cost-saving/low-cost traveling, there is no bargaining here (that I knew of, read and asked around). The prices they said are well regulated, good side is that I felt safer and wouldn't be ripped out as a tourist (experienced in some places). I have to be back in Bonito.

I would kindly suggest the manager of this place to write accurate opening closing timing on google as well to mention that booking with the agency is mandatory so people don’t waste their time. We enjoyed the river snorkelling and return walk. Tends to be more rainforest type species of trees and wildlife. Suggest organising your own transport such as taxi. The bus service is expensive and inflexible. You'll arrive at 8, depart at 1700 which is too long in one location. It's about 7km out of town. Two in taxi 8s likely cheaper, more flexible. Also, no sunscreen or mosquito repellent to protect the water quality and fish life, which is important. The return walk, expect mosquitoes. Be mindful to take something once you are no longer getting into the river systems.

I waited for 40 mins for my food, I asked a staff when it will be ready. He checked the kitchen but never came back. He was just talking with another staff and ignored me. The place is very nice with long turism history. You can see it all around the walls and furniture, how many signatures from all over the world there is. We had burgers, which was average. Meat was dry. When we want their Taboa Cachaça (right after opening), they haven’t got it. When we went to the corner of the street to the another bar, they have Taboa Cachaça - bit funny. Waiters was nice and helpful.

5 stars - IF you don't need regular service and love caipirinha! They have their own cachaça which tastes really nice!

We went to Taboa just for the drinks. They allowed us to try a cachaca, made with guavira, that I'd never had before. It was delicious and had flavors of cinnamon and vanilla. The only negative I would mention was the live music was really loud and we had trouble talking to one another outside, but it is a definite must-see in Bonito. It's famous for the writings all over the walls.. So, go pledge you love at Taboa after a few caipirinhas and enjoy Bonito!

Ice cream shop by weight like most of the places in Brazil. What I really like they have almost all the traditional fruits in ice cream. Friendly staff. Only 4 stars cause some of the flavours are really artificial and cone was old not crispy.

The manager was not too excited about us wanting to try several flavours first, but as you are charged by weight, you can take a bit of each flavour :) some tasted too artificial to me. Had an awesome experience here and would highly recommend it for English speakers. The staff went out of their way to explain things to me in English the best they could which made the snorkeling tour easy to enjoy despite going solo and with my minimum understanding of Portuguese. Also, the food was incredible and so far the most vegan options I've found in Brazil! Even in winter the water was more than warm enough to swim without a wetsuit if you're used to English water.

We wanted to do all floating experiences, so we did Cave, river and Spring. Spring being the case here, it was different from the others, the water is a little "foggier" but there are a LOT more fish to see and swim with. if you are polite and careful, can be great, it is one of the most delicate environments we saw there, still I recommend.

The park itself is nice if you go with children or adolescents, they will enjoy it very much. But the main reason why I went there was to snorkel in the Nascente Azul, and even though the activity was supposed to last 2 hours and 30 minutes, the guide showed up 15 minutes late and left us 30 before the end, so in total it lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. But the worst of all is that we only spend 20 minutes in the water snorkeling; the place itself is amazingly beautiful, but the guide was rushing us all the time and didn't let us enjoy the activity. They spend more time taking photographs and videos of you (which they try to sell to you later, of course, at a high price) than snorkeling. So, even though the place is stunning (and that's why I give 2 stars and not 1), I wouldn't recommend coming here if your main motivation is snorkeling. I would go to Rio da Prata instead.

This is an excellent place for you to come and spend the day with the family. I definitely recommend the river snorkeling and the zip lining. Overall this is a place that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The drive here is also very pleasant as you do so via a dirt road with amazing views.

Edit/Response: Thank you for the response. Regarding the apartment size, it isn't the size that makes the room uncomfortable, it is that there are no chairs to sit in the room. So, if you want to relax, eat in, or play a game in your room, you can't do so comfortably. Using a bed for anything other than its purpose is simply annoying. I understand your desire to save energy, it saves you money. However, it is money I spent to have a room at a comfortable temperature when I come and go. To me, advertising that you have air conditioning that I don't really control is a bit deceptive. Also, your air conditioners are undersized for the size room and geographical climate you are in. Given a 28 m2 room and your climate, that space requires 18.000 BTUs. There are very simple calculators online to determine required sizes if you don't have a background with air conditioning systems and requirements. I disagree that your apartments have good air flow. Our windows were within a meter of the property wall that had large plants between the windows and wall. Even with the door open, air does not move freely through the room. Add to that an undersized air conditioning unit, and the room is rather uncomfortable for a long period of time. Not to mention that leaving the windows and doors open invites in a lot of mosquitoes, a big problem if you want a good nights sleep. I understand that internet is difficult in Brazil. I just wish you would add a repeater to get the signal to the rooms, being able to make audio calls over whatsapp from your room is a nice convenience. Everything else is average. The rooms are small and uncomfortable to stay in if you aren’t sleeping. You cannot keep electric devices running or charging as your key is tied to the electric circuit of the room and you have to leave your key with reception when you leave. This means coming back to a hot and humid room after a day out wherein nothing will have dried while you were away. Additionally, the WiFi wouldn’t work in the room we were in and the only consistent service was in the lobby or breakfast area, an area where the ac only ran during the morning. Basically, don’t plan on being able to use the WiFi from the comfort of your room. The pousada won some TripAdvisor awards 5-6 years ago and it feels as if they aren’t doing anything to continue making a guests experience better.

I had many pastels during my time in Bonito and loved this place the best. Every filling was bursting with flavor, the dough was crispy and hot, and the service was phenomenal. We went many time for late lunch, dinner, and late night. I cannot wait to go back! This is the first place I'm stopping in Bonito during the next trip.

Not so sure how much is this place worth a visit since it is relatively very simple compared to other activities you can do in the area or bonito. If you have kids it might be nice to go. But the animals are not super special, it is more of a project that help animals with problems they help them recover but keep them there. If you have been to buy zoos you would enjoy it much. The staff are super duper nice and friendly.
