I arrived at the restaurant and noticed something a bit unusual—young children in their nightwear were seated at a table in the dining area while the adults were working. It gave the place a slightly unprofessional feel. The chairs at the table were very wobbly and didn’t seem to be of commercial quality—more like inexpensive home-use chairs, possibly from IKEA. This detracted from the overall dining experience. While reviewing the menu, I noticed two types of prawns offered: king prawns and tiger prawns. I found it odd that the tiger prawns were listed at a lower price than the king prawns, as tiger prawns are generally known to be larger. When I politely raised this with the waiter or possibly the owner, he responded in a condescending manner and joked as if I was confused or uninformed. He claimed that tiger prawns were “very small,” which is inaccurate, and his dismissive attitude came across as quite unprofessional. I was simply trying to clarify a menu inconsistency. That said, the quality of the food itself was good—well-prepared and flavorful. However, it would have been much better if it were served hot and on properly warmed plates or serving dishes, rather than lukewarm. Overall, there’s potential here, but several aspects—service attitude, seating, and food temperature—need improvement to deliver a truly professional dining experience.

Went tonight for my husbands birthday meal. Was absolutely amazing food. We were all very happy. The best curry we have had for a while. The staff were all very good and helpful too. Daughter has a peanut allergy, and we were reassured this was no problem at all.

They got the main part right which is the food. All the food was delicious. The curry was full of flavour and the meat was fresh and tasty. No complaints at all. The restaurant itself, however, needs sprucing up. They don't have table cloths on any of the tables and the toilets were extremely shabby. Would be nice if the waiting staff looked the part too as they were all wearing their own clothes rather than a nice uniform as you would usually see in Indian restaurants. All the staff were very friendly though.

We visited the Jewel in the crown tonight as a family of 5. We love a good curry and are often sceptical about trying new places, however we are on holiday so had to take a stab in the dark and they did NOT dissapoint. They were extremely welcoming and fantastic with young children there customer service was outstanding. As food the food it was exceptional! We would highly recommend and hope to come back and visit again in the future!

A lovely restaurant in a charming setting with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We had a fantastic meal as a family of four — the kids loved the variety, and we were impressed most dishes accommodated a fully gluten-free meal. The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavour — exactly what you’d hope for from Welsh produce. The Sag Methi Ghust was outstanding — an absolute must-try!

Amazing flavour, quick service. One of the best Indian meals we've had. Lamb tikka was tender cooked to perfection. Chicken pakora spicy and well cooked. From the poppadoms and pickle to the main course cannot fault it at all.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant - unlike the other one in nearby. The service is first class and the food is exquisitely crafted and top quality. The Jewel has the typical Indian beers you know and love! I thoroughly recommend The Jewel to all lovers of Indian food.

Excellent food, and great friendly efficient service from the team for our family of 13 people visiting for our holiday. Special shout-out for Morgan who helped us and was very accommodating and made sure we were well looked after. Thanks again!!

Whenever we go on holiday in the UK, we find ourselves visiting at least one 'Spoons and as options in the town were limited, we were glad to manage to find a table on a extremely busy evening. We did have a wait for our food but free WiFi kept us entertained. Food was as you expect and there is a good varied menu including veggie and childrens choices.

Sat down and a staff member cleaned the table immediately. Even though it was extremely busy the staff are friendly and happy. Food arrived quickly and was good. Coffees were strong how I like it and they had decaff in the machine which was great. My partner had a medium wine for £2.70. Great pub.

We were sitting outside with our dogs and a very polite young man approached our table to advise us that management had asked us to note that no dogs were allowed. Forgive me of my ignorance but we assumed that meant indoors! For goodness sake Weatherspoons get real, this pub is in a holiday location. Our dogs were quiet and well behaved which is exactly what I wouldn't have been if not restrained by my husband. This is my first and last visit to a weatherspoons pub

Nice and bright inside, with lovely decor. Although the tables were cleared, not all were cleaned which isn't very good. My food arrived quickly and although it was nice enough, it's described as a Mediterranean salad with butternut squash and red peppers as well as the grains, but the red peppers were scarce and there was only one small cube of butternut squash. It also lacked the basil listed on the menu. On a plus side, I really liked the garlic bread; beautifully thin and just enough garlic butter!

It gets extremely busy very quickly, so we asked if we can book a table, but they don't book tables. We came at 6pm hoping for a space. We were about to leave when we spotted one remaining. Ordered food. Food arrived pretty quickly. We all enjoyed it. For four meals, two drinks it was just over £30. Very good price. Although I'm not intolerant as such, I do have health issues where gf is a better option for me, I noticed there are no gf options on the menu, unless there's a different menu that you have to ask for? It's very loud, but atmospheric. Prior going, I checked the reviews and read how the staff are notoriously rude, on this occasion we didn't find that the case. They seemed welcoming. I can understand food arrival times being delayed due to how busy it gets. We are only here for the week and it was our first time eating there so I can only review one experience. Would go again.

Really nice fish and chips. The batter wasn't too heavy, and the portion size was generous. I had some bread and butter on the side too, very good. A nice atmosphere and handy that you can sit in. Only lost a star because the hand dryer didn't work in the mens toilets and there was no soap.

What an excellent fish and chips. Expensive but so worth the money spent that we went twice. The best fish and chips in the area. The family absolutely loved it and called it the best fish and chips they have ever had and they have had good ones before. I agree with them.

Visited as a spur of the moment thing on a quick visit into Pwllheli, got a couple of the cod and chips special and it was really nice, the people there were nice and helpful, I'd recommend to anyone visiting! Well worth a visit!

Excellent fish and chips, we ate here twice during our stay. Portions are very big and everything tastes fresh. Service is very friendly and efficient. A must try if you are in Pwhelli.

Definitely in my top 5 best fish and chips! Staying in Haven Hafan Y Mor and a quick google search brought up Arvonia with some of the best reviews and scores. Went for cod, chips and Irish curry sauce and it was all stunning. Decent portion sizes too. Da Iawn Arvonia. 😃

Always recommend this place as the preferred chippy in Pwllheli. Nice clean oil and normally beautiful light fluffy and slight crisp to chips. Chips wise I got a lot of little crispy bits today so that was disappointing. Fish wise today I got a bit unlucky too. The one after mine was much bigger and had huge crispy waves and looked almost translucent. Really looked good so when I opened mine was a bit disappointed as batter was a bit soft / soggy. But rest assured this is normally better than the other chippy.

It was a very good breakfast - they don't accept exchanges on set breakfasts but it was excellent! Bacon very smoky and salty, fried bread and plum tomatoes went perfectly together too! Would have liked a few more beans but it was actually excellent and I have to give it a 5* rating!!

After arriving in Pwllheli for a very urgent puncture repair ( since Friday! ) had a walk around the town - couldn’t find a cafe & found this delightful place! A trio of beauties! Absolutely made my day with their welcome! & the food & drink was delicious! Please please pay these lovely people a visit - you will not regret it 😍😍😍😍😍

What a little hidden gem. Lovely cafe with lots of train memorabilia around the whole cafe. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast I had was delicious. Definitely worth popping in and having something to eat

Hearty menu at reasonable prices in eclectic setting. Informal (dogs welcome) but clean and well kept, with colourful decor on a station theme (breakfasts include 'Ivor', 'The Rocket' and the 'Orient Express').The platform awning makes a sheltered outdoor seating area and the friendly owner even puts out blankets if the weather is chilly. All in all, a great cafe in a lovely part of Wales, especially if you've taken the train here!

A lovely cafe which we have never been to before today but will definitely be going to again! Highly recommend others to find them and go. The food is amazing and big servings. The price is equally as good too!! The ladies that were serving in there were very pleasant and attentive - if you wanted something extra, I’m sure if it was possible they would provide it.

Highly recommend! Personal favourite: the Welsh cakes!! This has been my in-laws' favourite cafe for years and we totally see why! Tasty food and generous portions for great prices (top: paninis, bottom right: Welsh rarebit). The cakes are delicious, too! One of the best scones I have had (bottom left), bara brith and brownie. My personal favourite were the Welsh cakes, I had to take some home (together with homemade fudge and a bara brith), they were that good! The staff is very friendly, too. Looking forward to coming again at our next visit to Pwllheli!

I suspect Pili Palas would be a lot better during the high season. Visiting in March - although the weather was great - lacked the atmosphere and experience I think you'd get during the summer. There were a lot of signs saying 'meet the animals' but no opportunity to actually do so whilst we were there. Staff didn't try to engage with guests to speak about the animals and when questioned seemed to know nothing about them. It's a small venue with only a few animals in quite small enclosures - i think the website mentioned about a meerkat tunnel and we couldn't find this. The walk through section with the goats was good although the goats were skittish (and we weren't doing anything to make them so) and the play areas outside are brilliant. Restaurant had limited meal options for adults although kids sandwich box is generous if pricey at £7.50. My 3 Yr old loved the butterfly house and we went round a few times. The whole place was just a bit chilly and deserted to be a truly fun day out. It's also quite pricey to get in - me and my 3yr old cost £25 entry which was a lot for the experience we had.

A very warm welcome and great service. It's a tiny place and easy to miss but much better coffee than Costa. We didn't eat but the food on other people's plates looked good.

Such an amazing service topped with great food. We came in for breakfast following google reviews, and I tell you they deserve a full 5star. Attentive, smiling staff, very accommodating, and dog friendly. They even have dog treats, which can be entertaining for kids.

Love this place, great food and lovely seating areas both inside and outside. Everyone is so friendly, Kelly is definitely a chatterbox 😄 so welcoming and great at her job, as all the staff are. We’ve been going here 3 years and have made great friends both customers and staff, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Why wait so long to review? My wife, my dog and myself visited here while on a little break on the Llyn Peninsula. Having been turned away from the Weather spoons just around the corner for having a dog with us, we were recommended Cafi Sol as they were dog friendly. What we didn't know is how dog friendly they actually are. Before we had even ordered our dog, Jett had fusses from the waiting staff and had two whole sausages cut up for him and presented in a little bowl just for him. He was absolutely in his element. As a human who visits lots of cafes and eateries all over the country, I tolerate a lot for the sake of a good feed. However, if you treat my dog well and welcome him, you're almost guaranteed a five star review. We ordered the large full Welsh breakfast. The presentation and service was impeccable. The staff were lovely to us and our four legged friend and the food was absolutely brilliant. If I'm ever in the area again we will definitely be calling in again. Top notch!

Ordered a take out over the phone but when I arrived 25 minutes later it was not ready. Normally I get a bag if Prawn crackers when i order food as it is always above £20 worth of food but did not receive them. When I asked he said I gad to pay for them! Arrived home to find out that the beef chow mein I ordered was in a tiny box normally it's a lot bigger box plus it was the worst chow mein I have ever had. Will NOT be returning here again. Absoltely disgraceful!

The best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. I had special ginger and spring onion, and a the special shared starter (it serves 2 people, so hot x2 for 4 of us) Salt and pepper chips were perfect, and the the meat in the special was fresh and tender. Last came here about 8 years ago and it’s better that I remembered. Highly recommend, and it’s not a rip off either. Thank you

Last night we ordered 2 hot and sour soup, prawn toast, Singapore vermicelli, beef chow mein, chicken curry and egg fried rice. The lady behind the counter was lovely, the place looked very clean, and the food was fast, hot and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The only problem we had was the beef in the chow mein was a little chewy but other than that the food was lovely and we wouldn't hesitate going back there.

Visited to watch a football match on the TV. Didn't stay long as locals made it unpleasant. It might be a great pub for them but it's one of the worst pubs I've ever been in.

Super loud clientele and two young screaming girls who didn't look old enough made it a short stay for us. If this place was on a council estate it'd have a flat roof. Bar staff were fine but we won't be returning!

We went to this pub as previous ratings online said that dogs were welcome. We entered the pub with our very well-behaved and calm Greyhound and got sent away straight away as no dogs are allowed (not even in the garden!!). Sad, but definitely not dog-friendly at all!

What a wonderful pub, we were made to feel so welcome. A great pub garden that is dog friendly even with an outdoor TV to catch the sport on. Well kept beer and really friendly service made sure we returned several times. When we arrived by bike in the rain they even securely stored them for us. Thank you ♥️

This is listed as a dog friendly pub that serves food. Facts are they no longer allow dogs, and don't serve food. My partner asked about both, and was answered abruptly "NO" The information on the internet needs changing to reflect that they don't do food, nor allow dogs, to save wasted journeys. Because phoning is pointless, they don't answer when bar is busy.

Ordered a few meals meals for the family on holiday. They left one meal out and had to drive all the way back to get it. Only to have dry chicken kebab and dry donna and hard pitta. If this is decent takeaway food in pwhelli then i feel sorry for the people of pwhelli. Very disappointed

Nothing special about the chicken kebab. Salad was very nice, but the Pita was soggy, chilli sauce wasn't very nice and the cardboard cartons fall to bits on you. Also chips are very expensive for portion size.

We came to Pwllheli on holiday and ordered from PEKISH several times — and every time was a real pleasure! The staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming, and very professional. Every dish we tried was excellent — hot, tasty, and generously served. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious — honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had! The burgers were just as amazing: well-prepared, flavourful, and very filling. We also had the chance to try other items on the menu over the next few days, and once again… not a single disappointment. You can truly feel the passion they put into their cooking — they really have magic hands! I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation. They truly deserve 5 stars — and more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+++ A huge thank you to the entire team at PEKISH ❤️❤️❤️

Best place for fresh sandwiches, rolls and baguettes in town. Lovely quality bread and fillings. Friendly chatty ladies too with a good sense of humour. We had egg mayo and prawn Marie Rose with some shredded lettuce. Delicious. They have a nice choice of paninis too and breakfast stuff. The coffee is best in town by a mile. Awesome flavour / proper coffee. Recommend here. 10/10.

I have been working in Pwllheli for the past 7 weeks, and have eaten at Felin Fwyd most days , the food is amazing, staff are friendly and helpful . The owner works tirelessly to accommodate her customers, Thankyou for looking after us The Stoke lads .

Wish I’d known they were here sooner. Best lunch in Pwllheli. Hooked on the Chicken, bacon and cheese panini. Fair prices and friendly staff. Everything I’ve tried from there so far has been great.

What a find, spent the last night of our holiday in this lovely place. We felt very welcome and so did our dogs. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful view of the harbour. We left our bag and even though it was early in the morning when we returned to collect it we still received a warm welcome from the lovely owner. We would highly recommend The View and we can't wait to return.

I'm staying near here on a hiking trip. I Googled best pubs near me and it directed me here. The ladies serving were really lovely and made me feel so welcome. Perfect place to admire the water and enjoy a pint. Thank you ladies ☺️

What a fabulous little place! We were pleasantly surprised following almost turning around when driving in - don't be put off by the 'yard' outside. The food was great and the waitresses were fabulous! Nicely decorated in a contemporary style, which was fresh and clean looking. Overlooking the marina, which was nice. The doggies were welcomed, too, with their own biscuits. Worth booking.

Seen this had great reviews so Gave it a go. Food is nice all-round and would go back again. Nice simple food that hits the spot , curry sauce is nice but the mushy peas needed some salt. Kids enjoyed the burger and wanted to go back next day for another . Prices are moderate to high but whilst on holiday you have to pay these prices .

£15 for large cod, large chips, and small sausage (got given a large sausage instead). Seems reasonable, until you see the size of the portions (see picture). Food was good, just need more realistic portion sizes

The food was nice, however the service is shocking. No manners where used in the whole interaction, they where rude, slow and had an attitude. It was the younger two staff a young male and young girl who I found this from. Considering it’s the only chippy open in the area you think you’d have a better experience there. I have now visited twice and had the same experience both times.

We visited on the advice of trip advisor reviews. To say the least, we were very impressed. Que was out the door, which tells its own story. Large que must mean great quality. As said before, quality and portion size and prices were just beyond expectation. Staff friendly and apologetic for the time it took to be served. Chips were fresh and fish was lovely. Kids enjoyed their meals, all eaten up and none to waste. Located near the centre and by the carpark. Also noted there was indoor seating.

Shocking Hospitality…. Shopping in Pwllheli with 7 family & friends. Called in the Mitre Pub to get out of the rain for a quick drink. Ordered drinks at the bar only to be told no children allowed. We had a 2 1/2 year old and a fifteen year old (both were well behaved) as soon as I paid for drinks I was told I can’t have kids in the bar as they ‘don’t sell food’. As far as I know it’s legal for kids to be in a bar with an adult. No signs anywhere saying no kids or dogs or anything either! We were given the choice of standing in the ‘Beer garden’ or stand on the front on the pavement. We said that we’d rather stand on the pavement since people were smoking at the back. Then we were told we can’t take drinks out on the front! I was close to tipping all the drinks in the pavement but we opted to go and stand in the rain with the smokers at the back. Shocking, what century are we living in again!!? I understand it when pubs don’t let kids in on an evening but this was 2pm. It’s no wonder pubs are going out of business…. Doesn’t this place want to make any money?? So if you’re a tourist with kids just don’t bother…. I wouldn’t mind but having the kids with us was a rarity this trip d so this place has just lost the return custom of 10 adults who regularly come to Pwllheli!

Fantastic hotel on a budget. Our room was tiny with just a bed and a side drawers but a nice little ensuite with a great shower. All the staff were great and we had fun in the bar during the evening. They had a band on but when we went to bed it didn't seem to travel all the way up to our room. We would deffinately come again.

Stayed here for the night in August conveniently in the centre of town very comfortable bed . accommodation clean bedding and towels clean everything you need Excellent communication off the owners would definitely stay again many thanks Daz

Basic accommodation but had ensuite bathroom, ideal position in town centre and people very friendly, also kitchen for residents to use. Sister restaurant, The Bar excellent food and 10% discount for residents.

The young man who does bar an shows you room was very helpful an nithin to much trouble. Rooms are what they say they are. We had room with 3 double beds in. Not gd havin to share bathroom. But there was a kitchen u can use which you able to make meal in. Right in town. Beach here not gd you have to go to next one. Plenty of places to eat

We had a booking on Saturday night.we kept knocking on the door for ages, no one came to open the door.Tried to take the payment to. We even left a voice message saying we were 20 mins away. Once arrived we called them useing the numbers on the door. I will not recomend this to anyone.

Authentic Bangladeshi halal cuisine Visited the area with my wife and this was one of the few halal restaurants we found. To start off, the atmosphere was really nice and there’s plenty of seating inside. The service was also amazing! We got the chicken biriyani, palak (spinach) and the king prawns. As a Bengali myself I can attest to the quality of the food. The perfect amount of spices used and the portions were a good size. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try authentic Bangladeshi cuisine

Came in as group of 12 last night and the service was fantastic considering they were very busy. The food was really good. Best chicken madras I've had. Would definitely visit again. Its bring your own alcohol FYI.

Wonderful food here, very tasty dishes. I had the chicken jalfrezi and wife had the lamb naga. BOTH dishes were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you and will be back very soon. Wonderful service too

We didn't eat in so can only comment on the food. We ordered lamb balt saag aloo and chicken and saag baltii which were un eatable due to the amount of oil even trying to scoop it out with a spoon. We also ordered naan bread which we could and did eat.

Visited twice during our stay. Ice cream is so good. Lots of different flavours, my favourite was apple pie and custard. Big portions especially the waffles. Staff are very friendly, seating area isn't too big so it does fill up quickly. A must visit when in Pwhelli.

Fantastic visit here in Pwllheli. We had great coffee and then decided on a waffle. Wow! Home made and a large size so we shared one. Very friendly people and a nice place to relax. Thank you 🙂

Add a wonderful experience with the staff being so friendly and eager to please. Their coffee was absolutely delicious, food was good especially their scones. The plus for us was it is dog friendly compared to spoons just round the corner.

Fantastic people. Super service. Perfect flat white coffee, Fresh cakes. We had a cream tea, the staff were fantastic, welcoming, relaxed, personable, it was a great experience for the end of our Holiday. The cakes were light and fresh. If your in the area you must visit.

We come here every time we come to stay in Pwllheli. The last time we visited we tasted the lovely cakes made by the lady who works there and as an ex cake maker I couldn't praise her highly enough. I told her to make sure she carried on baking and suffice to say I was extremely happy when we returned yesterday and found the cakes to be magnificent once again. Honestly, some of the best cake I've eaten!!

Great food, great service. We waited 15mins as we came when it was busy. So worth the wait! Sandwiches were bigger than expected, fresh and so filling. The ice cream was wonderful and the cakes were soft and fresh. Highly recommend

Didn’t try the ice cream (but was tempted because there was a great choice and it looked nice). Coffee was nice and the staff were friendly and professional. Well worth a visit.

Lovely coffee shop in the town centre, delicious food and hot drinks ☕️

Situated in a lovely spot in town, very convenient. As a "brand" coffee shop, ad you'd expect, the food and drinks are of the same good quality ad all other Costa shops. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The toilet had needed attention for week's now, and could do with a good and regular clean. I'm sure the manager has requested it's repair, but cleanliness needs attention. The fabric chair's and settees would benefit from daily spraying of fabric freshener as my clothes always smell of cigarettes after visiting. This cage has the potential to be excellent if hygiene and cleanliness were attended to on a regular basis.

Arrived earlier than expected & saw the shop opened at 7:30am which was great. Lady server was helpful pointing out the toilet. Will use again rather than using the services on the journey in

Great customer service. And also clean and tidy. I found the staff fast and efficient and very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of products that's are fairy priced. They have a travel ping it cup which was fully explained to me. Over all a lovely stop off or a comfy break to stop have a coffee and chat in a relaxing warm comfortable clean place.

A good old costa experience ! no complaints

Go here more often than I should! Staff are always friendly, especially considering how busy it is and how much pressure they are under every day. Chicken and bacon toastie, and a fudge brownie frappe mocha, is my thing. But really everything I’ve tried from there has been good.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this place, plenty of chicken but it was over cooked and tough like it had been boiled, the veg of the chop suey (chicken and vegetable dish) consisted of 2 bits of broccoli, about 6 bean sprouts, 3 quarters of a mushroom and some raw carrot (skin on) and 3 baby sweetcorn chopped in half.

Great Chinese with loads to choice from, service was excellent 👌 we sat in to eat, the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Oily tastless chow mein with almost zero beansprouts or veg in it. Dry cardboard chips. Chicken balls that don't resemble balls at all and looked like they were cooked a week ago. Uncle Ben microwave rice. Prawn crackers were ok though. Avoid!

If you are around this area, avoid this Chinese at all costs. The food and hygiene is horrendous. Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for a nice takeaway. We ordered salt and pepper chicken. The chicken was severely undercooked. My boyfriend ended up with terrible food poisoning from this food. DEFINITELY avoid this Chinese. Not nice food!!!!

Food tastes alright but missed something off our order which isn’t okay sweet and sour sauce is watery and chips are cold and horrid also the chicken balls aren’t normal battered ones I’m disappointed in this Chinese!

Absolutely awful. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this meal. The food lacked flavor and didn’t taste quite right. It was overly greasy and I found it difficult to eat. Overall, not up to the standard I was hoping for.

Cakes are absolutely tremendous and such good value. Chocolate and caramel muffin was HUGE and absolutely delicious. Almond slice was heavy and large and also so, so good. And only £2.50 each. Can't recommend this enough.

This place was legendary. Best ham baps / rolls on the planet. Everyone talked about the ham salad and ham and coleslaw baps and rolls. And the beef was amazing too. Proper joints cooked in the ovens. I’m excited to hear it’s reopened. I’m praying it’s still got amazing ham and coleslaw baps. Will update as soon as I’ve been.. hopefully it will be 5 stars still..

The old gwalia was much better! Paid 2£ for a very dry school cake! Its clearly not fresh and has been out for days! Was looking forward for gwalia to be reopened but its just been a dissappointment.... fresh homemade cakes and nicer food from a lovely little shop down the road from them

Best bakery for many,many miles. The Pumpkin bread is the most delicious I have ever tasted and must win awards. The fruit loaf is packed with fruit and flavours. Delicious. You know it's really good when all the locals go there too. Delicious crempons ( pancakes ) Superb scones. A variety of perfect Rolls and breads. Sometimes yesterday's bread's maybe availabile at a reduced price. Still excellent especially if gently rebaked / reheated. Friendly staff. Great value,large portion traditional cafe at the rear. Comforting,cosy setting and quality food. Evil,enticing , sumptuous , scrumptious cream cakes a' plenty. MWYNHAU ! ENJOY.

I was looking forward to my first visit BACK to Gwalia. I bought a Lemon flavored Cheese Cake. This was the Length & Width of a Banana. The base powdered biscuit mixture, the Topping well I couldn't taste any Lemon. Very Poor. This little piece cost £4. Here is a question==Iceland, how Much do you get for Four Quid. These products Taste Much better for that Volume for same quality.

Some of the best sandwiches/barms I've had, fresh and plenty of filling. Twix brownie was incredible as well, all at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, it all seemed a little unorganised, no direction for queueing and little guidance from staff when people were confused and huddling about.

Hopeless no queuing system waited 20 minutes for a loaf of bread whilst people walked past saying they were in the sandwich queue. Completely ignored walked out. Avoid until they have sort themselves out out

Tried the Nana's kebab that came with lamb, lamb kofta ,chicken and Donna meat and all the meats were juicy and tasty and seasoned well. Only downside was no mild chilli sauce so I had to have hot burning chilli and mayo , but that sauce is very spicy and takes away the meat flavours . The breads that came with it was nice fluffy round naan type and much better than standard pittas you get in other places Would recommend and will be back.

Over priced food. Pizza was over cooked and greasy Order over 60 pound work off food just to be told it cash only. Who carry 60 pound nowadays and why tell me after I ordered food. So I said forget it and went somewhere else. If u can't do card payment then dont run a food business

Walked in and ordered some kebab , good portions, really nice meat, good service & shot wait. Highly recommend.

Called for a drink, friendly leading us to the table, drinks were expensive and when I went inside to look for the loo the owner was very ‘off’ the place needs a good scrub down. Glad we weren’t eating there after I’d seen the toilet hygiene

Excellent place hidden away a bit; great traditional pub food - the corned beef hash was amazing! The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating for our dog, and gave us a list of other dog friendly establishments to visit in the area. Well worth a visit!

Lovely friendly owners, very helpful recommending good places to eat outside of Pwllheli. Great food, really nice Gammon steak, and lasagne was delicious. Will be returning another night this week. 👍👍

The food was great and the service was exceptional, they are very dog friendly and we were given recommendations of other dog friendly places we can go to during our stay. Very very welcoming and friendly, a lovely experience.

Just wanted to say a special thank you to the kind member of staff who helped us today. The Bar Eating House was fully booked (so book in advance, we certainly will next time), but the lady who helped advise us on other dog friendly places even though she was on her break was lovely. Thanks again x

little hidden gem. Hidden at the side of a large bistro and looking a little run down. The food is amazing, the staff are great and I honestly think we would travel the 3 hours down here just for Sunday lunch. Please don't miss this place if your in the area, we will be returning soon. Just had desert, Welsh ice cream. Brilliant.
