The Beehive Basildon is the best pub we have ever been in. On 1st October Bobby served us and has done so on numerous occasions ever since we came to The Beehive & became regulars. Bobby is always genuinely friendly, helpful, is brilliant with customers and is a real asset to the Beehive. We love watching him enjoy the DJ’s music at weekends. Along with his colleagues from the Manager down they help make the pub what is. A great place to chill out and enjoy a drink! The customers are all friendly too.

Come here on a Sunday, Welcomed by Bobby. My waffle fries were great and cooked by Yan. Served by both Charlie and Tillson multiple times. Everyone started a great conversation, and Jamie wore smiles all round.

I brought my 85 year old mother to the beehive last week and we had the most amazing service and best fish and chips in a long time. Gemma's was so friendly and polite and when I said compliments to the chef the chef came out and spoke with us both and she really made my mother laugh will definitely be coming again.

What a lovely little pub, nice to the theatre and train station. Jamie was fantastic and gave great customer service. Dj was great and played some great songs!

Used to love this place, was the place to be on a Saturday night. Good staff and manager and the doormen were always lovely. New manager has taken over, sacked everyone and now has hardly any punters. Probably because he's barred lots of people. The treatment my bf recieved Saturday night from your doormen was disgusting. He was wearing smart chinos and a t shirt but they wouldn't let him in because apparently he was wearing a tracksuit. I think it's because he's not English and came by himself after work to meet us as he always dresses like this and when he arrives with me and my friends there's never an issue and he's let straight in. There were also people from pride in the pub in cargo shorts and girls in baggy cargo trousers. But apparently the doormen said this was allowed... Disgusting behaviour, not the first person to complain about being refused for a made up reason. Racial undertones were clear and I made your doormen very aware of that. Get rid of the manager and bring the old one back.

Came here to watch the footy, was good value and they have beer towers available, got one of these 8 pint beauty's so diddnt have to queue at all for the rest of the game! Only wish my teams performance was as good as the bar teams. Jamie made our night!!

Order took over 2 hours to be delivered what a joke then when it did arrive it was nasty egg fried rice brown and had a funny taste to it. pork balls where like rocks and the noodles just tasted of oil will not be ordering from there again🤮

First time trying local Chinese in new area & so glad we went here. Takeaway was delivered within the given time slot everything tasted great. It’s a shame you have to pay delivery charge despite ordering over a certain value but the portion size was very good. Beef chow mein, salt & chilli prawns, seaweed, curry sauce & spring rolls came to £28 which is not bad. Would definitely try more from the menu when more people are round! Thank you :)

Wish I could give 10 stars, food is amazing! This evening I ordered 2 lots of salt and chilli baked spare ribs, they were beautiful and you get a huge portion, chicken with honey, sesame seeds and chilli was perfect, again huge portion, egg fried rice was cooked to perfection, sweet and sour sauce came in a very large tub and tasted gorgeous, in m takeaway there was a chop suey roll and 2 large pieces of prawn toast which both said free to try on the packaging, also a large bag of prawn crackers, I asked for my food to be delivered, it arrived earlier than the time frame I was given and it was still red hot! Probably one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had! I highly recommend!

There's lots of Chinese places around but nothing I've had is as nice as the meal I had from here , shrimp singapore , salt n chilli chicken was absolutely beautiful, very authentic taste , all tasted freshly cooked and very delicious. Highly recommend !

Popped in on way home Friday for a late night snack. Paid exact money in cash but lady who served me quoted a higher price than was listed, (on the menu in front of me which was taped to their counter). There was no argument but when I tried to point it out to her, she was quite rude & waved her hand dismissively. Wish I'd just gone home hungry because the dish wasn't good either. The fried rice was ok at best but the chicken was tough & chewy. Won't be using this place again.

Wandered in mid afternoon. Plenty of tables to sit down. Traditional wooden benches and Formica tables in rows. Friendly staff and quick service. Prices are reasonable. Pie and mash was yummy. Very filling. Glad I stopped by. Another place tucked off the list!

Fantastic lunch today - first time for me in this lovely pie and mash shop and they very generously gave me an extra vegan pie and soft drink :) very reasonable prices and lovely homely atmosphere. Can’t wait to bring all of my work people here for lunch. Cheers guys! See you soon x

Sorry , but being from west end , this is not a good pie and mash .. you cannot fake the pie m, by just adding tonnes of salt to the meat in the pie ! No flavour and definitely nothing like mash shops in chapel market .

I just decided to pop in to Basildon as I have family turn up form Norfolk. Checked the google and the site says open until 5.30pm. But no got there at just before 5 and sorry love were shut! I said ah what a shame my boys come from Norfolk and ain’t had pie & mash for years and a lovely woman’s attitude was you should have came earlier!! We sort your website out! Cost me £2 to park for nothing and you lost 8 double pie, mash, liquor and vinegar for take away! SOMETIMES ITS NOT WHAT YOU SAY ITS THE WAY YOU SAY IT! 😡

Very disappointing experience. Avoid this branch if you can. Visited McDonald’s Pitsea recently and honestly, it was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had. The fries were greasy and undercooked, the Philli Cheesesteak burger was burnt, and they completely mixed up our order, giving us spicy chicken in the new bbq chicken burger. It took over 20 minutes just to start preparing our food, and we had to go back and forth to the counter multiple times to report the issues. We weren’t alone either, several people before and after us also had their orders wrong. The Sprites were completely flat, and to top it off, the hygiene situation was appalling. No hand sanitiser, no soap in the toilets, and the air dryer wasn’t working either. Thankfully, a kind lady let me use the disabled toilet just to wash my hands properly. For a place that’s recently had a refurb, it feels more like a step backwards. Poor service, badly prepared food, and basic hygiene issues... this branch really needs to get its act together.

Went on a very busy Saturday afternoon and was impressed by how clean it was. It looked absolutely immaculate. Even the toilets as well! The cleanest McDonald’s I have been to.

I visited McDonald’s in Pitsea on Sunday afternoon with my daughter for a treat and got her a Happy Meal. Unfortunately, what should have been a nice outing quickly turned into a very disappointing experience. My daughter needed to use the toilet, and what we found was extremely concerning. The toilets were in a terrible state – there were dead flies on the floor and in the wash hand basin, and overall the facilities were very unclean. It honestly made me question the hygiene standards of the entire restaurant. If this is how the customer toilets are maintained during regular hours, I can’t help but wonder whether it’s truly safe to eat here. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, especially in a place that serves families and children. Really disappointed, and I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it.

Favourite spot to eat! I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and it came out quickly and exceeded our expectations - fresh ingredients -hot-fresh filet o fish and fries cheerful atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel very welcoming our last-minute requests with a smile by a manager Georgiana appreciated how attentive the staff was ensuring we had everything we needed and clean place to sit where you can enjoy delicious food and music .

I visited the Pitsea McDonald's drive-thru today around midday, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. I had to wait in the parking bay for nearly 10 minutes before the rest of the order was brought out. Even then, my son's Happy Meal was still missing. The staff member didn’t want to help, was unhelpful, and just walked off without trying to resolve the problem. I then had to go through the drive-thru again to get the missing items. Additionally, when I got home, I found that my Big Mac was missing one of the burgers, and the Coke I received was watery, flat, and warm, as if it had been made well before I ordered it. Overall, it was a frustrating experience

Very disappointed with the order recieved. Got the biscoff frappe with no taste at all. It was just very milky and watery. ( Tasted as ice water) Even the staff were not bothered about the customers. There were lots of us waiting for long time, but no response were given. Had similar experience earlier from the staff's.

Poor. Order repeatedly put back by 6 minutes, lying about ‘courier at restaurant’. Allegedly he was there while they were ‘preparing’ the food for over 30 minutes. Delivery kept ( 5 times ) being put back from 5 minutes to 11 minutes. Why lie?!?!?! Just say you can’t manage and I could go somewhere else. Last time.

Had a great experience at Burger King. The service was quick, the place was very clean, and the staff were all polite. Manager Steve was especially helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

Check Your Orders! For a place that literally exists to serve food, it’s staggering how they get it wrong every single time I order from there. On this particular occasion I got one portion of chips instead of 4 and no sign of the 4 dips I ordered. What’s the point of having a drive through if I have to always go in to rectify the order.

Disgusting place I went last week and ended up in hospital with food poisoning. This will be taken up with head office once I have built my strength back. Toilets smelt like fishy sewers, our food sat there for ages even though on the screen it said preparing was refused any sauce as had to pay extra. Waited 30 mins for food. For an expensive place you would expect service, fast pace and cleanliness. I had poisoning bad was on a drip and antibiotics AVOID

Well the foods hot and tastes great BUT OMG don't even think about using the toilets!! They were reeking of stale pee - so bad it made me almost lose my dinner. Yes really disgusting and for a food establishment I was actually really shocked. I will not go here again based on the toilets alone as that, to me, gives an idea of the hygiene level. If I hadn't needed fresh air fast I'd have tackled the person in charge!!!

Sadly This particular Burger King at Pips Hill falls well below the standard of which is expected. I'm shocked that the area management haven't checked on staff and food. Any person awaiting food to collect can see the meals being touched and made without plastic gloves on and just bare-hands... This is NOT acceptable. When you see Uber Drivers and other home deliveries placing their bags on the counter where food is collected Mind blowing stuff....food is often just warm when served in the restaurant, what on earth it's like if someone uses the app for home delivery is anyone's guess.... I've been at this location twice, the lack of organisation, discipline and structure amongst the staff is very obvious to see. It may not be there fault. However, where is the management or whoever is in charge to take hold of a poorly run shop floor.... BURGER KING!! Sit up pay attention and if you cared about your franchise, you'll get your secret shopper in, order watch taste the food, and think, you know what...this isn't just a review which is venomous, it's an honest opinion based on visiting... If I'd been in charge...this branch would have had a thorough shakedown...present staff re-trained or find other job where interst in what your doing doesn't matter...

Dont have Buger King often as the nearest one ffrom canvey is this one. i have to say i am disappointed witht he food. the order was wrong and couldnt get hold of them on the phone to report it, the quality of the food was poor at best. the most disappointing part was the rat infestation in the bushes surrounding the restaurant. you may accept 1 or 2 as this is next to a busy industrial area, and is a food establishment, but this was horrendous and really quite of putting. i pointed it out to the staff, who seemed shocked.

Normally I really like going to McDonald’s in festival leisure however every single time I’ve ordered from here recently. They add no toppings on the double cheeseburgers! If I wanted a plain one I would’ve ordered it. I’m lucky if I even get ketchup. No onions , no pickles, no mustard every single time. Your job isn’t that hard. When someone orders a burger out everything on it for god sake. Waste of my money. No longer recommend this place

Disgusting customer service. You almost never get all your items, and when you do, the chips are usually wet and half-filled. It’s shocking that this is being sent out as if it’s acceptable. I wouldn’t go to this McDonald’s again. It’s honestly astonishing — this is probably the fifth or even tenth time they’ve failed to provide everything I’ve ordered. Despite prices going up, the level of care and attention keeps going down. Even when ordering through the drive-through, the same issues happen: missing burgers, missing sauces, and long waits — sometimes ten minutes at the window because the order isn’t ready or was done wrong. Ordering through delivery isn’t any better. Missing items, forgotten sauces — even when you’ve paid extra for dips. It’s not that they don’t have them, they just don’t bother to check the receipt and include them. For a brand like McDonald’s, this level of service is completely unacceptable. The management clearly doesn’t care, and the consistency issues are beyond disappointing. Every visit or delivery ends in frustration.

Staff always helpful, especially when the App plays up. Always have to send the fries 🍟 back for a top up 🙄 Never fill the box in any of the branches we visit. The Filet o Fish is overpriced for what you get, last few times only got half a slice of cheese, otherwise all good.

I would avoid this McDonald’s and go to Mayflower or Laindon instead. The service is much better, and they don’t forget your food. They even put the dips in the bag when you order 20 chicken nuggets, which is supposed to come with the food. It’s ridiculous that they can’t read the instructions or be bothered to put the dip and food in the bag. That’s your job !!! The service was good the woman was attentive and patient. However the food, sigh the food. I ordered a yakisoba vegetable egg noodle dish and it tasted okay but a couple hours later I have been bed ridden. Experiencing a bad stomach ache and a lot of nausea and gas. I haven’t been able to start farting since I ate from there. Started having discomfort and diarrhoea early in the morning. My partner didn’t eat none and they were okay. Won’t be going back cause if I get food poisoning from a vegetable dish then you know something bad is going on. Will be calling manager later on today to resolve this.

I was really disappointed with the food. I ordered egg noodles with tofu, vegetables, and sweet and sour sauce, but the taste was so awful that I had to throw it away. The tortilla soup was bland and tasted like it had just been reheated.

Ordered a take away last time chicken malaysian and ask for no rice only the curry and went home to find some sort of sauce in my take away. Came back a week later and spoken to the manager and he couldn't understand what went wrong. Managed to explain to him and he talked to his staff and said we will settle it next time. Went in today to settle it down. The manager said i can't order anything else to settle my £12.50 i have to order the exact same thing even though i don't want it. He can't take another order and deduct tge £12.50 What a joke. They made a mistake and don't even remember it this time when i came . I had to explain everything yet again and he can't remember non of it. What kind of manager that is! Really bad service over there.

I have had a better experience in there in the past, but the bald headed cook was no longer serving and was standing over my in-laws for them to hurry up and finish their food as he wanted to go home. I will be giving this place a miss in the future due to him only and not the young staff who were serving.

Can't beat a wimpy . Always good portions and all the food is cooked to a good temperature unlike some other fast food restaurants... Obviously it's a little on the pricey side compaired to other burger establishments but taking into consideration you get cutlery and crockery with waiting service you can't moan..

Today, firstly I was already thinking - how come 2 customers after me have their orders before me and they have same items- stood watching how the old gent was THROWING orders on shelf for deliveries. Then lady came to look at them and realized my order was there for some time. Food was ok, not fresh, had fries Bell Grande and it seamed smaller portion and quite dried up already. My naked Chicken taco soaked with sauce and mushy. Poor, should do better, you are lucky the brand owners dont do secret check up to fine you for not being up to standard, YET. P.S. Shocking. The quality of this branch has gone drastically downhill. Back when it opened, up until COVID times, it was always spot on. Ordered today via UberEats as a payday treat. Wrong drink, the tacos had literally half a teaspoons worth of meat, the quesadilla wasn’t even cut (sheer laziness), and the churros was so stale I was worried I chipped a tooth! What has changed? Is it under new management or do the staff just not care?

Pizza was burnt. Order was nowhere to be seen after an hour and 20 minutes. Owner refused refund and repeatedly called me ‘baba’ and a ‘stupid wonker’ when I was simply asking for a refund. Avoid like the plague.

Gave me the wrong base for my daughters pizza, asked for thin and crispy also tried to overcharge me so bit disappointing as I know the pizzas are usually good from past experience

We ordered a large order via this companies website and they denied all knowledge of receiving the order. When we called to query the order we were shouted at and hung up on. Their service is terrible and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Ordered from here for games night, a friend ordered a 4piece fried chicken. Chicken wasn't even fried, it wasnt varied either (it was a 4 piece barbecue chicken wings instead), and it was burnt to a crisp to the point of being inedible. The Just Eat order progress was also not updated, and as of this review is STILL marked as undelivered. Overall, pretty disappointed. I've ordered here before and had no previous issues but I will not be ordering here again if this is the quality of food I am to expect. Would give a lower rating if I could.

Order a chicken doner kabab . Told the boss to give me fresh chicken but instead gave me old one reheated which was covered in oil. Don’t waste your money! Terrible tasting pizza, burnt cheese and stone cold. Not mention that they couldn’t get a simple order right! Pepperoni 9” and Garlic pizza bread with cheese 15” l, not complicated….. this was important as the one of the people eating it can’t have a tomato base. So now I’ve purchased a product that is going uneaten because they were likely rushing as it was the end of the shift. Food good depending on day.Denise pukka shame about the Rude lady on the phone. My 2nd time with this lady being rude, first time was when she made my girls cry age 12 and 14. She was so rude tonight sat 16th October 2021. A man took phone off her and also said how rude she is🤨 just received food can't falt it. Smallest chicken strips I’ve ever been served. Small chip as reference for size. Over 50% smaller than they were previously. Costs more too. This is the end of KFC. Just to add to the misery of this abhorrently tiny serving and insulting shrinkflation, you also always have to park up at this drive thru, which basically means it’s not a drive thru at all.

I usually post positive feedback but this store doesn’t deserve it. Funny thing with this store is that they prepared and packed WRONG food for delivery via uber eats. I got the wrong food but the receipt was correct based on what I ordered. I informed them thru the uber eats app and they gave a refund of just £4.59 for it which I don’t think is fair. I was hungry and that’s why ordered original recipe chicken - colonel’s meal (as I don’t eat spicy), a gravy, coleslaw and pepsi. I was charged a total of £11.97 for everything. But a spicy chicken burger/sandwich and corn in a cob and chips/fries were delivered instead. The only correct items were the pepsi and coleslaw. I phoned their store and the lady told me to contact the app that I used for ordering which was uber eats. WHY??? Did uber eats prepared and packed the food? Poor customer service indeed. What a shame.

I broke down today besides the KFC, I managed with help to get into their carpark and park up. I went inside and explained my situation and I was waiting for help to arrive. The lovely helpful staff took my car registration so I didn't get a parking ticket, also they gave me a drink as its been really hot. Just wanted to say thank you all for your help.

Very quick to serve the order. Friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately, my food was cold. The chips were warm. However, the large popcorn chicken was stone cold and the icecream was a little low compared to other kfc restaurants' portion sizing..

It was terrible. Queued for 30 mins ordered 2 box meals only to be told on collection no gravy ' do you want something different? ' No I'll wait. Run out of gravy how long does that take to make. 15 minutes as we had to park up. Got home 5 minutes away food cold chicken stringy, chips with black bits in Tower burger certainly not the same as the picture. Not going back there. They said they were short staffed if so close. £15 pound wasted steer clear.

Lib served us at the tills. Absolutely wonderful. Happy to bring the desserts over after we had finished the mains. Toilets smelled abit as we were stood at the tills but couldn't smell it once sat down

I placed my order online but there was an issue with my order. Mike who was managing the store went extra miles to resolve this issue and we finally got our food how we wanted it. Thank you Mike, you are a true gentleman an an asset to your company.

Got my order delivered just eat, everything else was fine, apart from the milkshake. I will take a picture, but it looks like someone has just put cleaning products in a cup and stired it. It was also half full and smelt very strange.

STAY AWAY! The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever had, All the food that came was cold and the milkshake was two thirds full, asked for extra onion no pickles, got all the pickles and no onion, my girlfriend had a pre bitten bite out of her burger, chips were lifeless with no salt, surprised the fruit shoot that come wasn’t empty, poor excuse of a fast food place & workers who clearly don’t care about you or the hygiene levels of the restaurant. Do not eat from here!!

This morning, 12:10:2025 around 05;40am I went to get breakfast. There was a very rude and extremely unprofessional girl there, who clearly lacked any manners or basic decency. After preparing my order, she handed me the food without any courtesy or sense of responsibility — which I believe is part of her job — and walked away. When I called her and politely asked for a napkin (since there were none in the box she gave me), she replied that they didn’t have any napkins. I said, “How is it possible that you don’t have napkins?” She then told me to go to the front window and left me waiting for about ten minutes. When I called her again, she said the napkins were at the back of the storage area and that she couldn’t go get them! This is absolutely unacceptable. Does McDonald’s not take such rude behavior seriously? Just because the food is inexpensive does not mean you should hire people who have no manners, no respect, and no sense of professionalism. I will definitely follow up on this complaint

I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s. The food quality was poor – my McFlurry was half-melted and watery, as if it had been sitting out for too long. It was definitely not up to the standard I expect. To make things worse, the wait time was incredibly long. I stood in line for over 20 minutes for just one item, and there didn’t seem to be much urgency from the staff. Communication was also an issue – they seemed distracted and unresponsive when I tried to clarify my order. This visit was frustrating from start to finish. I hope the management takes action to improve both the food and the service. I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.

Good solid McDonalds. Nothing to complain about, but not much to rave about. Would say, it can get busy and the drive through can get long.

Ordered a double sausage and egg muffin today. And I must say it was the worst I have ever had the muffin was hard as a rock.the sausages were cold and it looked like someone had sat on it.how they can get away with selling food like this is disgraceful. After being the only car in the drive through this morning at 9:00am, we ordered our food and was given the complete wrong meal, having then driven off 30 minutes to our destination we could not go back and ask for our correct meal. This is so upsetting due to them not being very busy and being previously impolite when saying “speak up” to my fiancée when they couldn’t hear him through the drive through.

Kept saying well they crispy so they cooked. Being crispy on outside doesn't mean cooked inside. Was no need for rudeness. Got lemon chicken, special fried rice and crispy seaweed. My only complaint was the lemon sauce was very watery and the portions overall were small. Stil not bad for £13.60. One of the cheaper Chinese takeaways in Basildon but certainly not the best

Have used this Chinese for the past 10 years, however, my latest experience was disappointing. The new young girl with dark hair and huge fake eyelashes who takes the orders is incredibly rude. Three times I had to repeat my order to her over the phone as she continued to chat to someone else whilst I was still talking and she STILL got my order wrong. When I phoned up to complain, she outright denied messing the order up and her attitude was completely dismissive. Luckily, I returned to the store and the manager resolved the issue but this girl is ruining your reputation. Please employ someone with professionalism and some understanding of how to provide good customer service.

Usually order from here as it's next door to me and I'm usually happy with the food... However got pork fried rice and it was Incredibly hard and bland, the chicken balls where good, the roast pork Chinese style was horrible, and the duck was mainly all skin, asked for it shredded but it wasn't.

Using more and more, cannot fault the quality of the food, chow mein ( in my opinion) used to have a funny taste but now tastes A1, best curry sauce around and the 'chicken balls' are suburb (even though they are flat) you get loads of them, enough for 2. Do I recommend, definitely a yes and delivery is usually within half hour. Negative, no Chinese Calendar for my old mum 😫😫

A decent chinese, the chips let it down they were somehow soggy and dry at the same time <\3 loved the chicken curry and chow mein, delivery was also right on time. Food wasn't hot but cant fault them for that its freezing out lol. Decent pancake roll, it had some crisp to it whereas a lot of other places its just overly greasy and soggy. Overall, not disappointed.

First time visited today and what a great find we’re just pleased our 2 other stalls were closed as this beats them hands down on price and quantity and quality. Really lovely friendly lady. Spent £30 and got loads and all tastes great. Will def be travelling back to this place from Benfleet in future

Overpriced and tiny portions. Cold food. I feel proper ripped off. Apparently this portion of chips is large! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else that actually provides the right amount of food because all the previous reviews show you all the same complaint and the responses of sorry and thank you for bringing to their attention yet months later they are still doing it. The profit they make on chips is huge. So why ruin your reputation over it?!

Our while family regularly ordered from here. But recently the standards have dropped away. The order delivered this evening was unacceptable and inedible, the fish was dry, over fried, more batter than fish. We have called as a genuine complaint as we have always used this shop, but told go back to uber eats, nothing they can do. I say uber eats done their part 100%. You messed up the order. You should put it right. £38.67 for two dried up cod and full of greasy batter, small portions of chips that was supposed to be large, the cheapest smallest spread of margarine on the rolls, and a decent pickled onion. Basically one Onion was right. I feel you have definitely stolen money from us..

Soggy batter on the Haddock, chips dry and over cooked. Sausage and batter was crunchy but the batter was just like a thin skin. All in all, shite. Tried again tonight and it's worse, the fish was way over cooked the batter was burnt. Absolute rubbish food again.

Taste was alright. Paid £3 something for a small tub of curry sauce. Err. Also £3.05 for 1 piece of chicken. Not gonna lie it wasnt even that good. 🤦‍♂️but staff was good.

They tend to blow hot or cold, one day the food will be exceptional, blasting furnace hot, bursting with flavour and huge portions. The next it’ll be like warm, bone dry (chicken) as if it been sitting there from the day before and a child size portion. When they are good they are fantastic… when they are on an “off day” you’re better off going somewhere else. Sorry.

Do not use this takeaway! Been using this place for years, then ordered a delivery at 6.30, nothing arrived by 7.45 so phoned up and after she’d finished laughing at us she told us the driver was out with the delivery, still nothing by 8.30 so phoned again and refused any more than a 10% discount despite the 2 hour wait at this stage, and then she put the phone down on us. Driver arrived at 8.40 and they still refused anything more than a 10% discount so the food was returned to the restaurant. Awful service, avoid at all costs.

Ordered from here on Sunday food tasted good no problem until 12 o’clock that night i started being violently sick throughout the whole night. Monday i was too sick to move and today (tuesday i have headaches and sweats) my doctor says i got food poisoning from here as it was the only thing i ate that day couldn’t have been anything else. normally when we eat from this place there’s never a issue but i’ll be more cautious ordering from here from now on.

This is our go to. Great food. Great staff. The only thing that let's them down is delivery. All delivery guys are great. It's just the ridiculous waiting times. And we mostly ring as soon as they are open

I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member at your shop — a European man, approximately in his 40s, with a beard today 02/08/2025 at 3.30 His behavior was extremely unprofessional. While I was waiting outside for my order, he kept making loud whistling sounds one after another, which was both rude and disrespectful. When it came to interacting with me, he showed no interest in speaking politely or offering any basic customer service courtesy. His tone was harsh, repeatedly asking “what pizza?” in a dismissive manner, as if I was bothering him just by being there. There was no greeting, no thank you, no sense of welcome — just an attitude that made me feel very unwelcome, as if I had done something wrong by choosing to visit your shop. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a pizza place. It felt like I was being treated with disdain instead of being served as a paying customer. I hope this issue is addressed seriously.

Delicious homemade pizza, freshly made. The dough was amazing and there was a good range of toppings and choice on the menu. The owner is lovely and it was a pleasure to sit a chat while we finished up our lunch. We'll definitely be headed back there soon or ordering a cheeky takeaway

They do amazing pizza. Found the place while walking around town, the guy who works there is really friendly and the pizza is excellent; not like typical takeaway pizza, this is thin, soft and fresher tasting like homemade pizza and it smells really nice. Hardly any grease and there is so much flavour instead of the typical "flat" taste of most pizza toppings. Also i really like that it didn't make my hands greasy eating it, i will definitely order from there again and would recommend this place to anyone who likes well made pizza

Went for Subway on Friday (04/04/25) as fancied something soft as felt really unwell. Usual bloke behind counter, hardly anything available and only one type of Subway bread available, unacceptable, I know it was quite late, about 8pm, but really! When my husband and son went on 2 separate occasions, about 6pm, the lady manager was there and there was lots of food and breads available in all varieties. Please move him to somewhere else, I enjoy getting a Subway but this is ruining it for me, shouldn't have to get there early to get something to eat, sort it out please!!

Came in for a quick bite on Sunday after a busy shopping day. Not really a pleasant experience. Both the girls were almost on phone all the time. Our sub was made with little interest, bread was cut open into 2 pieces. What made the experience worst was the billing, in between the billing, the girl just left in between for a phone call without serving the food. The store was not clean and hygiene was not maintained. I’d rather be hungry than to pop in here for a quick bite again.

Very poor staff. Unsure of the man’s name, but visiting the place for the third time and was served by the same person. He always has been carrying an attitude of take it or leave it. There quite literally a face or attitude he portrays as those he hates serving. Not sure who feels to be served food when having to face this kind of an attitude.

Rude staff as always, they never even say hi, act as if you're bothering them and move slow. Subway staff is always unmotivated, Subway should pay them better as the staff is too bad to eat here.

Decided to try SpuduLike at Bluewater after 5 years since my wife fancied jacket potato. The owners/managers of this place need to realise there is a reason they are getting these reviews. First of all the setup of the place is awful. You can’t see what they are doing with the food and you can’t see the dressing options. For someone who hasn’t had one before you have to kind of guess what you will be getting. Everything tasted ok but it’s just not value for money. Very small amounts. The butter chicken dressing only had 2 pieces of chicken in it.

Tiny jacket potato which was supposed to be butter chicken filling. When I received it the potato was tiny, half the size of a standard jacket potato. The filling was literally a tablespoon at best of butter chicken with just ONE small cube of chicken on top of yogurt. It wasn’t hot. Absolutely horrendous. A total rip off! I’m always happy to pay for good food but in this case it was a measly portion, Luke warm and the tiniest cube of chicken which does NOT EVEN warrant calling it butter chicken. James Martin you need to sort it out. Don’t rip customers off. I’ve been buying Spudulike for over 30 years but will never buy again after this.

Over priced and felt Ripped off £8.28 for a small jacket potato! Had 3 pieces of chicken, pinch of cheese, I had to ask where the curry was? They Took it back and put a little bit more watery “sauce” on it! Appalling, no wonder the place had no customers for a busy Saturday lunch time! Won’t be going back!

What a disappointment - always loved the food in this outlet but how things have changed. What a con, very few prawns got up to look like more than it is. Very poor value and absolutely tasteless - never ever again.

On the 2 occasions I have visited this subway the staff have been unfriendly, like they can't be bothered to serve you. Considering how quiet the restaurant is it's always dirty, grimy with rubbish on the floor. Ingredients don't look fresh, salad looks old ready for the bin. Won't be returning in future.

Always order my food online and is never done in time , I had to stay in a queue and wait ! The reason I ordered is because I needed to be done as I don't have a long break! Terrible!

I spend most of my time on the road due to my job and I also have an obsession with subway, unfortunately I've made the mistake of going to this branch a handful of times and never had a good experience, the staff are more interested in chatting between eachother rather than interacting with the customers or have headphones in chatting on their mobile while serving you or they have their family and friends there and pay more attention to them rather than the customer, the bread is always rock hard and just falls to bits and the drinks machine is always out of order. There is also a man that is constantly sweating whilst making the subs and looks very un higenic and never changes his gloves, there is nothing quick about this place, it takes ages to get served and it's always disappointing, I'm never making the mistake of going here again no matter how hungry I am!

Had a great experience in the shop with our server Gary! He was polite, very knowledgeable on the products and made a great sub! Overall a lovely experience in the shop and would come again! The place was spotless also!

Food is always the same at Subways, so you know what you’re getting. However, what you don’t expect is for the staff to be arguing in front of the customers. This then had a knock on effect and took over 40 minutes to be served and there was only 2 people in front of us.

Service: Very good. Food: Very standard kebab shop type pizza. Nothing special, which is a shame because I got the impression from other reviews it was a bit special. If I lived within walking distance I'd probably use again. Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to order from here.

Lovely fresh,hot pizza made just how I like it. My partners spaghetti bolognaise had hardly any meat it was mainly spaghetti which was very disappointing. The delivery driver was very friendly and the food was bit early which we didn't mind

Terrible customer service. Disgusting food. Shocking delivery. Wish we had looked at the reviews before ordering. Never again. Pizza came cold, tasteless, and inedible. We had been lied to about how long the delivery will be 4-5 times on the phone where the just eat app said delivered. First it was 2-5 minutes then we called again for an update after 15 minutes, they said 10 minutes, then again no food for ages, so we called again and they said it will be 30 minutes, probably not even made the pizza yet… What a joke. Honestly the worst service and food I’ve received from a takeaway shop ever. Would never recommend.

When it finally did arrive after a forth call we were missing half the order and everything was cold. Called the restaurant and told them and the rude man on the phone said he would call me back in five mins. He called back and told me that I had aprently called him to confirm the order was fine, when I reality I had called him to complain items were missing, calling me a liar. Ordered last night...The only reason I gave a 2* is because the chips were half decent and the delivery driver was polite. The kebabs were tiny and stone cold. I ordered a large doner for myself and a medium chicken shish for my partner. Both kebabs were tiny. Barely filled pitta for the doner and only 4 pieces of chicken in the shish!! I would hate to see a small. Pictures of both from as soon as they arrived have been posted. Also asked for very simple specific salad on both kebabs. Onions and lettuce and one with cabbage, but we received 2 pots of salad with everything in. Just lazy and wasteful. Now both me and my partner have also got bad stomachs since eating this. Yes I dont expect to feel amazing after a kebab lol but I dont expect to get the runs after eating one! (and especially my partner after a chicken shish!) Really wish I had read the reviews before ordering now tbh. Wont be giving mega grill any more of my money that's for sure.

Absolutely shocking! The food arrived 2 hours late and had to call 4/5 times just to be lied to about how long it would take then got told to call if it was cold when it arrived due to being delivered an hour before my last call. I then tried to call once it arrived due to all of our food being beyond cold but got no answer. Absolutely appalled and want a full refund for how terrible this experience has been!

If i could give 0 stars i would, they take ur money and cancel your order so you have to wait a week for your money back, dont get me wrong some of their food is decent but im absolutely disgusted with the way that this company treats it customers and rips them off and ps.
