They serve fusion food Mexican/Mediterranean. The Antojitos for two - mixed starter was good but some combinations didn’t really work well. The ceviche was not great. The paella was good. The huevos rancheros were nice. It is good in general but pricey for what you get. We had left overs and they packed them in paper foil that broke easily. For the price paid, one would expect something better to take the food away. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The place was a bit noisy. The toilets were dirty.

Really enjoyed pour experience at this restaurant. The host did an excellent job with us and all the diners. Atmosphere was lively and upbeat. Food was great. Only slight negative was that some dishes were salty. Overall very good and generous portions.

Every time I eat here I’m always full to the rim, the food is too good and it’s so addictive, the cocktails are nice and strong too and it tastes even better during happy hour (frozen drinks only)!! I got the duck in the mole sauce and it’s so juicy and tender and just goes so well with the salsa and mash! The calamari is crispy and comes with this shrimp paste and carrot noodles and it’s got a nice sweet and tangy taste to it! If you love alcohol I suggest ordering a caipirinha, it’s got the best combo of sweetness and sour you can ask for and they are generous with the alcohol!!

I went to visit my daughter at Uni over the Easter weekend and if my late husband was alive, it would have been our 22 year wedding anniversary. So to celebrate and remember my late husband, we went out for a lovely lunchtime meal. My daughter has been here before and she said you have to book over the weekend. We had lovely mocktails. The starters were delicious and pulled lamb fajitas were amazing. She shared the churros for dessert. It was a lovely meal and the service was great, very friendly staff. My daughter was well fed when mummy went to visit her. 😄💕

Amazing customer service, went here to celebrate my engagement and cannot recommend this place enough, the staff were so lovely, and even brought out a free desert and allowed me to take a keep sake. The food was incredible as always you will not be disappointed here.

Cafe des Amis has been a favourite for years. Mexican with a French twist. Food is always good. Great for a romantic meal, or dinner with family and friends. The quirky wall art, cantina-esque style is warm and inviting.

Came in for dinner with a friend and, as someone who has never been a particularly huge fan of Mexican food, was very happy with the taste and quality of the food. The seafood burrito was absolutely delicious and if you feel like sharing I would highly recommend the chocolate fundido. Combined with the excellent service by every waitress we spoke with Café des Amis comes highly recommended!

Farmers’ Market Meets Honest Cooking Had lunch today at The Goods Shed, a rustic restaurant set inside a lively indoor farmers’ market in Canterbury—and the experience was both charming and satisfying. As soon as we ordered, the starters and bread arrived quickly. The mussels in lovage cream were a real highlight—incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a light herbaceous sauce that brought out the natural sweetness of the shellfish. The grilled squid was equally impressive, tender with just the right amount of char, paired beautifully with a zesty green sauce. These dishes set the tone for a promising meal. The complimentary bread was served warm and fresh—simple, but comforting. However, there was a bit of a wait (around 30 minutes) before the mains arrived. But the wait was worth it for the lamb leg. Cooked to perfection, it was beautifully tender and melt-in-the-mouth, accompanied by a creamy cauliflower purée and cauliflower salad that balanced the richness of the meat. On the other hand, the brandade fishcake was a bit underwhelming—mild in flavor and lacking the depth I had hoped for. The real charm of The Goods Shed isn’t just in the food—it’s the whole atmosphere. You’re dining inside a working farmers’ market, surrounded by local produce, cheeses, artisan bread, and specialty stalls. Nice cozy restaurant, an unplanned candlelit dinner with my husband after exploring Canterbury the whole day. We are lucky to have a table for us as we walked in without any reservations. Had a good meal, the Raspberry sorbet was a win! I’m honestly obsessed with the candle holder the entire time 😍 Lovely place to unwind and have a quiet and relaxing dinner.

Loved The Goods Shed. Had such an excellent meal in the restaurant with some really tasty and unusual food combinations. Some really nice vegetable dish choices together with meat, fish and chicken. Also brought some local produce. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a lovely place! We enjoyed a great dinner here! The place itself is amazing - it has a beautiful farmers' market, a pub and a restaurant inside. Very special dishes made all with local ingredients (and a lot of love). The service is really good. I'd recommend to make a reservation in advance, we went Friday night and it was full.

Such a lovely place to eat, you can really taste that fresh farm goodness in every bite. The food feels like it’s made with very high-quality ingredients, and the service was warm and amazing, making the whole experience feel extra comforting.

Let’s be honest – it’s a bit off the beaten tourist track in Canterbury. That said, giving it 15 minutes of your time seems worth it at first glance. As soon as we sat down, I joked that this experience would go down in history thanks to me. Sadly, as time went on, a few doubts started to creep in. In the end though, it’s the flavour, the taste and the quality of the food that really win you over – making this place well worth checking out. Shame about a few slip-ups with the service, otherwise they’d have deserved the golden buzzer -))

I chose the Wild goose to get breakfast. I ordered an extra hot latte. Asked about the greens on the eggs Florentine he said it was chard, so I opted for the eggs with salmon on sourdough bread and a side of bubble. The latte was not extra hot, and the scrambled eggs were nice and soft topped with capers and smoked salmon which was tasty and from the fishmonger on the stall opposite. The sourdough bread was from the baker in the stall next to the Wild Goose. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

This award winning restaurant serves the very best Sunday Roast. The quality of the meat offerings and the amazing vegetarian roast were matched by creative and amazingly tasty sides. If you visit The Cathedral on a Sunday, make a reservation for supper, an English ritual. If you take the high speed train with an anytime return from and to London, the cathedral visit capped with a truly amazing dinner makes for a rewarding side trip.

We stayed at the Corner house for our 25th wedding anniversary in the Tourtel room (Rupert the bear) beautiful room and a amazing bathroom, being on the busy road it's noisy at night but ear plugs are supplied. We ate at the corner house Saturday menu and Sunday dinner the food was wonderful, had a few cocktails which were lovely. Has own main door so you can come and go when ever you want. Enjoyed the area museum (which is free) and Cathedral(about £20 each but can use it as many times during the year) We will definitely be back to stay at the Corner House

Very nice stay here, celebrating my special birthday. Room was lovely, good size & very clean. The bathroom was very big and loved the decor. Would stay again. Breakfast did not cater for me with my wheat allergy, even though we told them in advance. Husband loved it though!

I had dinner at The Corner House the other night and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress Eden was so friendly and attentive and really made the evening special. I will definitely be coming back!

Stayed here for our son's graduation. It was a perfect location as only 5 min walk into Canterbury town centre. Staff were lovely. Chatty, friendly and attentive. Bed was comfy. Room was clean with En-Suite. Brekky was brought up to our room at 08.30 the next morning. Hot croissants, toast & jam, yogurt with fruit & granola. Yum! Room has a fridge with fresh water and a glass bottle of milk which was perfect with the decaf coffee & tea. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Had to find lunch while waiting for the cathedral to open, and stumbled upon The Corner House. It turned out to be the best meal we had during our entire trip! Great service with incredibly friendly staff, and the food was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

Food was good, bacon was a bit salty. Baked beans were good, not too sweet or salty, with lovely tomato sauce. Vibe is the reason we were there. Service was nice, care and made sure you were well served.

It was a good start to the day to have brunch at Refectory Kitchen. I enjoyed my pancakes and hot chocolate, largely because of the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They greeted me warmly with no wait time despite having a busy morning. Then patiently recommended food choices. Throughout the meal, they checked on me twice to make sure eveything was fine. To the pretty and efficient-working staff, thank you for your hard work!

We’ve been at the Reflectory Kitchen on a Sunday morning in August 2025 and had a tasty English breakfast. Opens at 8:00 h! Recommendation!

We went this on Sunday evening. It was a little bit crowded, we have to wait for 20 minutes. But it was worth. I ordered smoked salmon and avocado. There are boiled eggs, salmon, cucumbers and a lot of avocados on a toast. The taste of vinegar was excellent.

Went to The Refectory Kitchen for breakfast — staff were really welcoming and friendly. Got there early so plenty of tables, but it filled up fast! Great menu with lots of choice. I had the English breakfast (delicious) and my wife had the pancakes, which looked and tasted amazing. Very popular spot — we’ll definitely be going back! Parking is about five minutes away next to the train station. It’s in the old part of the city, so wheelchair access is limited with stairs at the entrance, though staff would likely help. There’s also an outdoor seating area for warmer days.

The Refectory Kitchen is a nice spot in Canterbury. My husband and I came here for breakfast. Staff were friendly. Food and coffee were good. I would go again if in the area.

Food and Coffee are great. Need a short queue for the table. The annoying part is the toilet though that it is like a war zone here. No kidding, war zone!!!

We could not get a table at another nearby restaurant. They recommended to us Cafe Du Soleil. Their loss and Cafe du Soleil gain! What a great restaurant on the river. It was a Monday evening, so not too busy. We had the large wood fired half and half pizza - Napoletana and Pepperoni. It was large but perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. We were stuffed after finishing it!

Delicious Italian fare in Canterbury. Gluten free menu available. We enjoyed the aubergine gratin, calamari salad (crispy and gluten free!), seafood risotto, and lamb dish — great flavors, perfect cook/temperature on the protein, all gluten free! Highly recommend.

If you want a perfect warm welcome, fantastic service and excellent food we recommend here. We came spontaneously for some lunch and really enjoyed our meal. How lovely to walk in and everything just hits the spot. Looking forward to returning soon to maybe have the delicious sharing dish again or might try something else. Enjoy.

delectable food, generous portions, came for lunch menu inadvertently and had the beef carapaccio which had a lot of flavors like spicy, salty cheesy very delicious, and the the aubergine which is the eggplant also cheesy and warm and gooey and delicious, and had nudja Pizza was which a lot of flavor but overwhelming and not like the cross was delicious but like it was really salty but not in a terrible way. it's more like really, really strong and had the beef steak burger which was good but very heavy and the fries were okay and came with the tiramisu which had a deep roasty coffee flavor which was unique and came with a candle for wifey's birthday and overall super pleasant experience

Lovely restaurant Megan was my server, and was super helpful nothing was too much, food was delicious my visit was short notice as I had some clients cancelled at the last minute from my Canterbury Ghost Tour! We booked last minute. We had a sharing platter Buttered chicken and Chilli chicken and I had a pepperoni pizza! Service was outstanding and staff overall were very helpful! All food cooked to order all food freshly prepared and cooked!

We had the share plater and what a large amount of delicious food. The steak was so tender and the chicken was simply delicious. Asked for more bread and was on the table hot out the oven. We did not have a reservation but the manager kindly got us in. We had constant attention and service was good humour and a smile. Nothing to was too much. Good atmosphere. Will be going back

Beautiful pizza, surroundings and service. You can get the pizza half and half if you get them large so had artichoke and nduja. Large pizzas are absolutely huge and so eye catching. Probably the nicest pizza I’ve had in the UK! The chilli oil and chilli mayo were also out of this world!! Will definitely be going again.

Visited over the Bank Holiday and had an excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. Service was just as impressive: our waitress, D, was fantastic, warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. A wonderful spot in Canterbury, highly recommended!

We were there around 13ish when it wasn’t busy at all (maybe 3-4 tables including us)but we waited long time to have our food, approx. 25 mins for starter and another 25mins for main dishes which was quite unpleasant. We ordered 2x grilled meats and 2 Tagine meats for the lunch special menu. The food wasn’t really impressive. Not very good quality of meats and not too much taste. The only thing I like is the rice which has good moisture and taste. The dessert we had was chocolate cake which was kind of dry. Overall the price was good (less than £15 each without service charge) but if there were others options I definitely won’t come back!

I ordered a lamb taginr that wasn't a lamb tagine. It was a very watery broth without flavour and sole vegs. Lamb tagine should be more saucy and spiced. This was nothing like it. The service was lovely but the girl in the place seems to be the only one serving clients and working.

Not a bad place in Canterbury for a warm and cozy dinner. We got the 3 course tagine meal for £24.95 which had a lot of food. Lamb tagine wasn’t as tender as I’d prefer, but overall the food was decent. Hummus was quite nice!

The atmosphere and staff was friendly. However, I was a little disappointed as I ordered a tagine, and the dish served to me (albiet not bad) was not a tagine. No spices inside (notably no cinamon) or prunes or abricot.

We were visiting England for a week from Canada. Canterbury and dover's cliff was one of our destinations. For dinner we chose this restaurant and they were amazing. The kebabs here are by far the best kebabs I think I ever had. I loved the food so much that I am trying to find alternatives here in Canada.

One of the best meals of my life. My wife and I had the tasting menu for lunch on a gorgeous sunny June day. We sat outside by the river that was a picture itself. The food was fantastic and clearly locally sourced and the wine list had many local wines too, and were reasonable. Worth the trip from London, which is what we did, mainly for this meal!

Absolutely amazing food. Let’s be clear. Absolutely the best meal I’ve had in ages. But the service was too slow and the atmosphere was lacking. There was no background music until later in the evening so we could hear everything the staff said to the adjacent tables, which was somewhat annoying. But the food was incredible. It’s rare to see the bread and butter given its own course, but this was well deserved here. Delicious!

Today we had lunch at the Fordwich arms. The food , service and surroundings were excellent. We had the A la cart menu selection and were very please with the selection on offer and the quality of the food. We highly recommend this restaurant and believe it offers great vale for money.

Fordwich is a really beautiful small town, and the restaurant is equally impressive. There is parking onsite, but due to a road closure you’ll need to find roadside parking nearby, which wasn’t an issue for us. As the weather was so nice, they were serving outside on the patio, which was really nice. The service is absolutely fantastic and everyone was friendly. As for the food, it’s absolutely faultless. Each dish is so cleverly executed, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. When we paid the bill, we really thought it was good value. It’s an exceptional dining experience and we can’t wait to go back.

Finest Dining Experience of my life (and I've had a few). I've been lucky enough through work to eat at some pretty amazing places. Gavroche and The Square being two examples. Having just finished a very busy period of work, I took my wife and daughter to The Fordwich last Sunday for a lazy late lunch at 4pm. We sat outside on the terrace next to the river, in the shade of a tree, while the sun blazed down around us. We then spent the next 3 hours being spoilt rotten and served some of the most delicious food imaginable while the river meandered quietly by. It was bliss. Perfection. The last time we came (for my Birthday in December) it was cold, dark, with driving rain. Inside was impossibly cosy, with food to match. This time we had blazing sun and sat by the river. My point is no matter when you come, you will have an experience you'll never forget. What a fabulous restaurant, run by fabulous staff, in a fabulous location.

We had a work dinner at Marlowe’s recently. I had a three course meal with Prawns as starters , steak and chocolate Fondant cake . Absolutely delicious. Will be visiting again soon!

Visited lunchtime on 26th September have been here previously quite a few times. On passing the restaurant we at first thought it was closed, as the inside looks quite dark. There is a board outside with menus. The food is superb very tasty, the portions are good size and there is a good choice of food. Food is hot and well presented. Service we could not fault. Lovely staff. Suggestions. Would benefit from a colourful menu and or board, to attract visitors. Tables could have a battery operated candle in coloured glass holder, and more subtle coloured lighting on the walls. (From November the Christmas lights are evident). Although the restaurant offers special two or three course priced menus it could possibly attract more visitors with a senior citizen offers, a weekly special. We will be returning shortly due to the fabulous food and very nice staff.

Great Little restaurant right around the corner from the theatre and the cathedral. We popped in for dinner and had the duck breast and wild mushroom risotto. Both were perfectly prepared and the presentation was top notch as well. The kids had burgers and even those weren't small little burgers - proper portions. The host was very friendly and accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation. Good service overall. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the Marlowe's. The prices was also very reasonable given the portions and quality of the food. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Canterbury again.

Marlowe’s is an absolute treat! The set menu is great value, and eating outside gives off a lovely holiday vibe! British weather permitting, of course. The steak was spot-on, the chips hot and crispy, and the calamari? Golden, fresh, and with a batter so light it practically floated off the plate. Dessert was a delight too—a salted caramel heart that felt like a little hug on a plate. The toilets weren’t perfect, but honestly, the food more than makes up for it. Definitely choose Marlowe’s over any chain!

My husband and I went to Whitefriars Shopping Center and decided to try Saint Smokeys BBQ House since their menu indicated that they offer menu items with a Carribean twist plus they have wings, so I was sold. It is conveniently located accross from Waitrose and Energie Fitness. The atmosphere was quaint playing some good variety of music. We ordered the Smokeys Sharing platter (Whole Chicken, 5 wings, + 2 sides (corn on cob, cole slaw, chips, plantains). I decided to add another 5 wings. We chose the sweet sauce and the super hot and both sauces tasted the same...there wasn't any spicyness to the sauce at all. Overall, the food was decent...the wings were fresh and well seasoned. However, the way that the chicken was cut up, we couldn't tell whether we had an actual whole chicken. It looked more like a 1/2 chicken. I ordered the Rum Punch...needless to say there was no Rum...more like "fruit punch". The most disappointing part of our dining experience was the service. Our server, Fran, barely greeted us with a smile, she brought over the menu and just placed them on the table and walked off. When we finally got our food (brought to us by a nice gentleman), our server was sitting down eating a meal with what seemed to be someone she knew (see video). Not once did she come to our table to ask whether we were ok or needed anything. Never in my dining experience have I ever been ignored the entire meal. Unacceptable. Dine in table service is just that...you dine in to receive table service or else what's the point. The only time we saw Fran was when she exited the toilets and passed by our table at which point I asked her for a takeaway box and the bill. She brought us a dirty container. OMG😖 I asked for another one. At this point, I was ready to exit the establishment. Service is everything in a restaurant. When a customer does not get proper service, they most likely won't be back....we surely won't. This is bad for business. Oh and please do better with the menu on the website...we couldn't even zoom in or enlarge it to see the menu properly.

It was Sunday evening so the restaurant was quiet but we decided to pop out for a quick bite. This food is fresh, and so tasty this is a chicken lovers paradise. We had chicken, rice and peas and salad. Excellent value for money and incredible food. This place is a must and excellent for a family meal or couples, lovely staff as well.

I stopped after school. If you want to use student discount, you have to order 2 dishes. So I ordered 2 dishes, which was curry and rice. Taste was good but payment was not discounted. I was disappointed.

I’ve been a regular customer of Smokeys for over 5 years now. The food has always been consistent in quality, flavour and presentation. I disagree with some of the reviews on here and can say that Smokeys is one of the best restaurants in Canterbury when it comes to chicken. I recommend Smokeys if you’re looking for a fair priced meal for top quality food, food is always up to standards!

A really quaint place right across from the Marlow Arcade Mall area. It was very busy on a Monday bank holiday weekend. Service as a result was a little slow but courteous staff. Extensive menu with a decent set of options for vegetarians and a really fresh selection of pastries/cakes.

Best afternoon tea we had during our honeymoon. After having a few in London, we kind of came to the conclusion that maybe we don't like afternoon tea very much... but glad we tried again at Tiny Tim's! Their scones are amazing. The teas offered here all tasted AMAZING! The best part? It was so much more affordable than any other place we went to for the experience. Seriously, some in London were like 80 pounds per person, but here it was like 25 pounds for a much better tasting one. It was quite busy when we went, so service was a bit spotty, but it was still fun. Worth a visit for sure!

We went to Tiny Tim's Tearoom because it was recommended to us by friends. We could pick a nice place ourselves. My husband took the cake with lemon and I went for the Pilgrim Scone. Very nice! We liked the decoration in this tearoom: all about autumn and NOT about Halloween. Well done!

This place was a vibe and overall the best Tea experiencei had in England. Relatively affordable afternoon tea compared to prices in London. Scones were huge and the staff was great. No wait either which was important as we came on a tour bus and had limited time.

I’ve been wanting to visit since their famous “Pudding Club”. Popped in for lunch and was pleased to see it full and doing well. Ended up with a chicken huffkin each, tea, hot chocolate and a scone to share. Absolutely wonderful. Scones as big as your fist and the perfect balance of flavour. This will be the sort of place to bring an older relative for an upscale afternoon tea they will talk about for years to come. We will be back.

Was all very fresh, good size portions & served at a good temperature on hot plates which is a plus, plus very tasty. The best Indian food in Canterbury 100%. Visiting here is a must!

Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced — every dish tastes authentic and made with care. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always make sure we have a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, It’s easily one of our favorite spots for Indian food — highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service!

What a great place! Turned up without a reservation, and was seated within minutes (was very busy thou). We had a young trainee as our waiter and he was great. Next on to the food, one of the condiments for the poppadoms was very different it looked dry but was full of flavour and was moist, it was delicious. The two mains we shared had a very good potion size of meat in them and both were great in taste. Very difficult to fault anything.

This is the best curry restaurant we have visited in many many years. The food was superb, service was excellent as was the ambience, and we were greated with a warm welcome even though we had not made a reservation. We were shown to a table straight away and served in a professional manner. We are only visitors to Canterbury so may not return for many years but would highly recommend this superb restaurant.

Absolutely stunning!!! That is hands down the best Indian I've had for a very long time! The care and effort the chef clearly puts into every meal is astounding! Really enjoyed the food and service here. We had a beef brisket sandwich and peri peri chicken sandwich - both hit the spot. The chips stayed nice and crunchy even after a while. Onion rings were mid.But the real winner was the cheesy garlic bread... it was so good we had to order it twice. Hands down the best garlic bread I've had so far. Tried their in house lager too, and that was good.

Great pub serving both cask and keg beer along with cider and lager. The beer was high quality. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was fabulous. The steak pie and burger were our choice, very good but huge portions

When the phone rang a couple of hours ahead of our booking I thought it was going to be cancelling our reservation, we were surprised to be asked if we wanted roast lamb or roast beef as they were so busy they didn't want us to arrive and be sold out - now that is absolutely AMAZING service. The roast were delicious along the two ales I had to accompany my meal. Great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Very nice place with a wide selection of locally produced beer. I had bubble and squeak as well as pie with mash which was very tasty. We tried several types of beer, I particularly liked the cider which might be the best one I have ever had!

Enjoyed a delicious roast beef dinner here on Sunday. A huge thank you to the member of staff who phoned at midday asking if we wanted to pre-order the roast as you were so busy. The food was lovely and we really enjoyed dessert...the sticky toffee pudding does have the edge over the choc brownie though! Wonderful service and nice venue.

Lovely Turkish restaurant with great food! We walked in for brunch as we were just passing by and they happened to be open. We ordered 2 Turkish Breakfasts and it was delicious! Big portions and lots of food. Our waitress was so lovely and accommodating (didn’t catch her name but she had short blonde hair). The food also came out very quickly which was great. It’s a shame I didn’t get to try their full menu but I would definitely recommend their breakfast. Food is halal too which is a bonus.

This place made my visit to Canterbury even more special because of the amazing food we had. Absolutely loved our meal at A La Turka! The chicken kofte was juicy and full of flavour, the garlic mushrooms were rich and creamy full pf buttery flavour, and the chicken shish was perfectly grilled. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and friendly service – we'll definitely be back!

Food were good. Adana kofte was salty but still good. Salmon cooked perfectly. Server gave us chips instead of rice but immediately changed us into rice. I would definitely visit and try again

Hidden gem in a somewhat touristy area, great tasting food and excellent service. Highly recommend the vegetarian casserole, and the vegetarian dolma, which were of the sweeter variety with raisins. Spotted the staff shopping for produce at a local market stall so you know it’s fresh!

We had an amazing experience at A LA TURKA! The food was absolutely delicious🤤 every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. we had the spicy sausage, king prawns,bulgur and passion fruit summer drink.🍹🍽️The service was outstanding, so friendly and attentive from start to finish. I had such a delightful time at this restaurant during my recent trip to Canterbury! For dinner, I ordered the mixed kebab with rice, and oh my, it was absolutely delicious—bursting with flavors that whisked me right back to my trip to Turkey! I was so impressed that I couldn’t resist returning the next morning for breakfast. The shared breakfast was perfect for two, incredibly tasty, and left us both so happy. Huge thanks to the talented chefs for bringing such authentic, mouthwatering dishes to life! I’m already looking forward to my next visit when I’m back in town

How have i lived in east kent for 30 years and never knew about this pub. It is absolutely stunning, steeped in history with so many original features. The landlord such a friendly chap let myself and my wife see the function room upstairs, its lke something out of a medievil knights tale......just breathtaking. A lovely hidden gem, in an old part of town without many tourists. The food and service was excellent and the building remarkable. The oldest pub in Canterbury and one of the oldest buildings absolutely worth the eight minute walk.

The oldest pub in Canterbury and *well* worth going a few minutes out of your way to visit if you're spending some time in the town. The atmosphere is great and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had some of the best fish and chips I've ever hard there with an incredibly crispy fish cooked to perfection. I don't even generally like tartar sauce much but their herb mix added to it made it delightful. Their drink offerings are also quite good, I enjoyed a local red ale that was recommended by the staff and was excellent., My wife also greatly enjoyed her pie and cocktail. If you can, check out the upstairs and the garden, both are really quite fun to check out.

Food was spot on Had a tasty risotto along with fries and some hummus & pitta. Made even more delightful by the charming garden. Plenty of places to sit in or out of the sunshine. Highly recommend for food

Incredible 1300's pub set back with a lovely 'courtyard' garden area. We were told about it by the landlady at 'the millers' down the road. It is another Shep & Neame owned one. The food is superb. We both had scampi & chips with salad. Skin on chips and excellent scampi .. no grease on anything. Well cooked and well drained ;) the salad was refreshing and fresh/ crisp. Definitely recommend a visit ! (We'll be back soon ;)

Very busy and nice atmosphere but very let down by service. Our order wasn’t placed to kitchen but it was only after I checked in with them that they confirmed this. Obviously a new waitress that was learning but it just made me sad that none of the more senior colleagues were checking in with the tables she was waiting to make sure it was okay. I witnessed a few people being offered ‘free drink’ coupons - possibly due to situations like ours, but some more constructive management could lead to better outcomes and experiences for customers, as we don’t feel like returning.

In Canterbury this is a little island in the everyday rush. So kind everybody, the place is comfortable and nice, the Chef is a master chef, the foods like the Micheline stars quality. I recommend it to anyone who wants a little chill.

Cute hidden gem in Canterbury highstreet! Has an amazing menu with all day breakfast. Lots of tasty vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options aswell which was very impressive! A tiny space but its decorated beautifully and all the tables are well spaced apart. Staff have always been very accommodating everytime Ive been there. Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Canterbury!

Kitch is a very nice place in Canterbury. We had super tasty brunch, delicious veggie juice and tea. (And some cake for take away.) The quality, the service was also really high level. If you are in Canterbury, I recommend to try something from the menu.

We stumbled upon this lovely café and were so glad we did! They have a beautiful garden area — peaceful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We had an iced coffee and a cappuccino — both delicious. The food was amazing as well! We tried their famous honey cake, which reminded us a bit of Napoleon cake, but honestly, it was even better. So rich, light, and flavorful — absolutely loved it. We also had croissants, and they were unlike any we’ve tried before. They were sliced open and stuffed generously — mine was filled with ham and cheese, and my girlfriend had one with mushrooms. Super tasty and really unique! Everything was fresh and full of flavor, but what stood out the most was the warm atmosphere and kind staff. Highly recommended!

A lovely little oasis in St Peter's Street. It is very pleasant to sit in the garden away from the hustle & bustle of the city. There is a varied menu including filled baguettes, croissants and delicious pastries. The croque monsieur & the petit dejeuner are favourites with us. The staff are always friendly and efficient.

Great little gem. Really cozy inside. I've lived in Paris and the quality of the pastries are as good as in France. Flaky and soft croissants, excellent quiches and great coffee. A must stop for a great breakfast or brunch if you are hanging around Canterbury.

Genuinely, one of the best cafes I have ever been in the UK. Nice service. The staff was very nice and friendly. The pastries and sweet were delicious and not too sweet. We really love the apple tart and custard cake. The atmosphere was lovely. I'd would definitely come back if I got a chance to visit Canterbury again.

Recommended by our tour guide and indeed it is healthy and delicious. Four stars list though for the attitude of the Indian (?) cashier with glasses. Before cutoff for all other food and she BLUNTLY said she could only do one dish and rang it up right away without asking if wanted anything else - I could have gone for a pastry but I guess no thank you… rude enough that I wouldn’t myself come back

It's in a very central location, near the cathedral, under beautiful arches. Very beautiful spot. One girl at the counter was very helpful, some other a bit less. Food was ok, not the worst, not the best. I got my order slightly wrong, but it wasn't the end of the world, I ate it anyway. The soup of the day in my opinion was a bit acidic.. even if I only had 4-5 spoons, I felt it coming back up few hours later. Maybe was just not a lucky one!

It is a family run enterprise. Great friendly staff and proud owner. Food was out of the world. Tomato soup tasted divine. Mediterranean platter was scrumptious. Recommend to vegan and veggie lovers.

It is such a shame; this used to be one of my favourite cafes in Canterbury. Whilst the food is still tasty, the portion sizes for the price are stupidly small. I paid £11.60 this weekend for a buddha bowl to take away and was given about half of a standard portion that didn’t even cover the bottom of the container, and went less than half the way up the sides. The quantity was probably worth about £5. The staff were absolutely run off their feet and the service was incredibly slow. Really disappointing. Unfortunately, I cannot continue to recommend this spot.

The Veg Box is one of the first places we ate at as a family of three since our son was born, and though I was a little apprehensive given his minute attention span, we couldn't have enjoyed out lunch there more. The staff were so kind and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious (the pancakes were insanely good, and the salad buffet was phenomenal - a big word to use about salad, but even my partner who is definitely not a natural herbivore really loved them!) and the general vibe of the place is super relaxed, so even when our son was testing out his lungs nobody made us feel awkward. Fantastic selection of food and drink, great portion sizes and really quick service, we really couldn't have asked for more - maybe more pancakes because I could have eaten them forever - but really we couldn't recommend enough. And even though they were clearly very busy, the staff were all doing an amazing job of still smiling and being super friendly, which I think is never easy when under pressure, so big props (and many thanks) to them!

I had the Sri Lankan curry with rice and fermented veg. It was so delicious and had a great depth of flavour. The place is very nice and the service is lovely. Will definitely eat here again if passing by Canterbury again.

A Disappointing Japanese Experience 🇯🇵 As someone who has visited Japan numerous times, I found Tamago's offerings to be a significant disappointment in terms of authenticity, flavor, and ingredient quality. The Tonkotsu Ramen, priced at over £15, was particularly underwhelming. The broth, despite claims of being freshly made daily, lacked the depth and richness of properly prepared pork bone broth. It tasted diluted—almost as if milk had been added to lighten it—with a flavor profile closer to instant soup cubes than authentic ramen. The noodles were unfortunately overcooked and served too soft. The pork rice dish was served with proper Japanese rice, but it lacked the fluffy texture that makes Japanese rice so distinctive. While the kids' meal was reasonably priced, it came with low-quality, overly sour pink pickles that detracted from the experience. The only bright spot was the service. The gentleman who single-handedly managed the till, served customers, and maintained a friendly demeanor deserves recognition for his excellent work. For a restaurant charging premium prices, the quality simply doesn't match the cost. The 4.6-star review rating seems inflated and likely comes from diners with limited exposure to authentic Japanese cuisine.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Even though the ramen comes with only one piece of meat, it's more than enough to feel full, as the slice is quite large. We've been there a few times already, and I can say that the takoyaki and kimchi ramen are my favorites. The kimchi has a proper spicy kick, which is often missing in asian restaurants in the UK, and the broth is really flavourful. The staff are also friendly and helpful. It’s definitely one of my top japanese restaurants.

However, if you prefer more traditional dishes, you may find the fusion elements to be a bit too much. I would rate Bakers + Baristas 4 stars for their variety of offerings and friendly service.

Absolutely love this gem of a restaurant! Been coming here for a number of years with friends & family. Although I visited alone this particular time, treated myself to a bento box with fried chicken. All of it delicious including lovely sweet potato fritters. Also had the miso soup with perfectly fried tofu to start plus a side of their delicious kimchi. One of the best things in the menu are the Kimcheese spring rolls - truly delectable ! Highly recommend all items- ramen is great too. Recommend booking.

Best experience after we came back from Japan. This restaurant is traditional Japanese cooking food. I have read the bad review and I think they have never had a real Japanese meal before. The host is a Japanese woman and Japanese chef. The owner is honest and gentle person. Her rice was well perfectly cooked !!! We really recommend this restaurant if you want a real Japanese food and no need to pay for the plane ticket to Japan. Our family is very happy and especially our little one, she even said Oishi !!! We will definitely come back again!

What a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the views, especially on a lovely sunny afternoon. The seating was very comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks were served quickly and were both tasty and well presented. Its obviously very popular because it was very busy and not many free seats.

The view is really nice and wherever you sit, you can enjoy the view. Non-alcoholic option is available. The food menu is not very spacious, but mostly with its drinks. It is not a place for children. It's a good option to listen to the head during the day and have fun in the evening

The rooftop dining experience was truly exquisite. The breathtaking view of the cathedral added a magical touch to our evening. The attentive staff catered to our every need, enhancing the overall ambiance. However, the 12% service charge in Canterbury felt a tad excessive. Nonetheless, a five-star experience worth savoring.

Great location for a drink, we didn’t try the food but awesome views of Canterbury, particularly the cathedral and west gate. Look out for the large building on the horizon to the north this is St Edmunds school. The drinks are very expensive but reflect the uniqueness of the location. Happy hour is 5:00 to 6:00 when a few of the cocktails are half price. Service was excellent.

What a disappointment!Went there for my birthday on Sunday.The venue looked so nice but food let me down so much. How on earth you can serve as a main pack of tenderstorm broccoli with few almonds and bread what never came and charge for it £22!That was the worst meal ever! Actually , hard to even call it a main meal. It's just a overpriced side dish! My daughter had roasted vegetables and her plate was more full then mine. Such a shame! It's a lovely place with great views , and big potential but they don't know how to carter for people.

Went there for the latest football game. It was good fun with a nice projector and drinks. The "Filthy Fries" dish was amazing!! 😋 Do recommend, though a bit pricey. I was interested in some non-alcoholic cider though they didn't have it. Hence the 4-stars. But overall great 👍

First of all I was served a half pint with mould in the foam ?! And in a sticky glass which indicates the need for a line clean and overall better hygiene. Secondly, service is slow we waited ages for our food and when it came out disappointed is an understatement. Chips were barely lukewarm , bao buns overpriced and tasteless. No check back from the two waitresses as they were too busy chatting behind the bar to even notice we weren’t happy. Don’t come here !! I can guarantee better service and food suited to the price in Wetherspoons

Had the pit master tray and was disappointed, for £80 I set my expectation high but the turkey was dry and the beef was not brisket it was more like roast beef. I guess I shouldn't of set the standard so high as it is a pub after all

An interesting place that definitely stands out against most other restaurants. A unique blend of East Asian food, with American-style meats, I wasn't sure how well this mix would go down, but was pleasently surprised with how tasty the food was. We also had some cocktails which were very nice as well. We went on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy, but not too intense. The people in line before us were only able to get seats at the bar as they hadn't booked a table in advanced, which thankfully we did, and I would recommend you do too. The staff were all very friendly and polite, and made sure that we had a great evening out. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something alternative and lively.

Very nice here, food is plentiful. We had a house smash burger, sweet potato fries and a Korean chicken and rice. Slightly spicy chicken that was just right with great flavours. The burger was tasty too with a nice smoked flavour with a cute soft bun. Merlot red wine and a‘cheeky’ Lager. Yum 😋

Food was amazing, but the real thing that stood out was the service. Every person who spoke to us was amazing, funny, attentive, and made us feel special. It was my wife's birthday treat, and when I booked it there's some tick boxes asking if it's a special occasion which I assumed was just a data collection thing. The staff wished her happy birthday, brought her a little brownie on a Happy Birthday dish and asked if she wanted Happy Birthday sung, she said no as she hates the attention, so they just whispered the song instead 😂 the prices are quite high, but the food is great and I would come back just to chat to the staff to be honest. We vistited for a birthday celebration. Food was good, decor was great. Service was fab. What we didnt like was that you had to order chips as a separate dish to have with burger. And service charge is a whopping 20% added to bill automatically, so nearly £40 service charge for 5 people 😠 I supidly didnt notice until I'd already paid. If we go again I will be sure to pay with cash and add a tip at my discretion.

I ordered a Deliveroo delivery, I just ordered one burger and chips but I am so disappointed in the food. I paid £18 for a burger and chips and both were such small portions, the chips were such a waste of money, they were such a small portion and even a bit soggy. The burger was tasty but small and ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH £12. I am so disappointed, I will not order from here again.

A decent spot for lunch. Lots of charm inside but try and get seated outside on the patio with a view of the canal. I had the fish and chips and it was good but needed more seasoning. My lady had the chicken sandwich which was big and tasty. Grab a beer and lunch and then walk over to the canal tours located right next to the restaurant

I wanted a Sunday roast, although they're available here every day, Sunday seemed a good choice for me. I was greeted by a lovely young lady & asked for inside seating as I wanted to see the interior, it has so much character. I wasn't disappointed, I had the roast lamb, the serving was ample, plenty of meat with vegetables, roast potatoes & a lovely Yorkshire pudding. I also opted for a dessert, I had the treacle pudding with ice cream, also delicious. The choices were good, it was one of the best roasts I've had. Great service & lovely atmosphere here, not too busy for a Sunday at 5pm. I'd thoroughly recommend.

The Old Weavers House is conveniently located just around the corner from the Cathedral. We sat at a window table and enjoyed views of the water. Ali was an attentive server and helped us decide what to order. He mentioned that the chips are a different than other local chips and that the meat pies are the specialty of the house. I’d Both were excellent! The roast was perfect and was served with a nice tender Yorkshire pudding. I’d love to come back in warm weather and sample another pie on the outdoor terrace!

This higglety-pigglety building by the canal with its mixed vibe of memories from long ago that takes you back in time. It may seem at first glance to some like some form of tourist trap, but it really isn't. Hina and her crew offered quick service with a smile and attention to detail and the atmosphere in general was really welcoming. Our table all went for one of their homemade pies (chicken and sweetcorn, chicken, brocoli and Stilton, and duck and apricot - if you must know). They were so filling, there just wasn't any room for dessert. The restaurant also has a beer garden at the back, adjacent to the canal, though unfortunately the weather wasn't quite right for it. I can imagine it to be quite pleasant on a summer's day. UPDATE: we visited a few days later for Sunday lunch, but unfortunately it was full - will make reservations next time. Returned the following day and ordered chicken and mushroom pie and fish and chips. Both tasted great. Chips are cut in such a way that leaves an indent in each chip, making them perfect for moping up any sauce left on your plate.

Went to this lovely restaurant for my bf’s birthday - completely unplanned and didn’t have any expectations but we were incredibly surprised! We ordered scallops and tuna tartar as starters. The scallops were succulent and cooked to perfection, but the tuna tartar was ok as it was a bit dry without any dressing. There’s room for improvement for the tuna tartar but it didn’t affect the overall experience. For main we had Hake in curry Dahl sauce and whole lemon sole. Both were absolutely delicious! The hake was fusion with the curry sauce, splash of chilli oil and lots of coriander - an explosion of flavours and such a pleasant surprise! The lemon sole was super fresh with silky and buttery flesh and delicate flavours. The service was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely be back!

We ate here as part of a friend's special birthday celebrations. We'd booked for lunch and all fancied the Tasting menu, which was terrific value even before we realised it was half price that day. The food was incredible. Ross is a talented chef. Alysha looked after us perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. They easily swapped out a starter one of our party with a crab allergy for equally delicious prawns. Presentation and flavours were amazing. If only I lived nearer.

Last Friday evening, we visited with a reservation, and it was truly delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the ambiance was cozy, and the food was absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend giving it a try!

We came for our wedding anniversary on a Friday night. We were the only ones here, but the service and the atmosphere was very nice. We had the tuna tartar and the scallops, followed by roasted hake fillet and monkfish wellington. All of the fish courses were full of flavour and good size portions. The winner for me was the monkfish. The desserts were also really tasty. The chocolate delice tasted like proper real chocolate but the cinnamon bun takes the cake. The portions are generous. I think the main courses are well priced, starter and dessert on the higher end of the spectrum. But the food is worth it. Will definitely come back again!

I was here Monday night and everything went smoothly. We were looking for a place to eat some mussels when I stumble upon this place, so I decided to give it a go. The inside is lovely, and the staff was very welcoming( considering that it was late and after a hard day of work you're smile can sometimes not be so big when you see new customers,:p). The food was delicious and fresh, from what I read online they take pride in serving fresh fish daily, and for me it was true. I tried for my first time the rock oysters, and they were great, can wait to go again and try some more :d. I also recommend the mussels , they were lovely cooked (i tried the wine and cream ones, but they also have Thai green curry and beer leak and mustard)and the portion is very big considering the price, actually, if I think about it I never eat mussels so cheap. LOVE this place, though last night it was Very quiet. I can’t understand why?! Anchovies then a couple of oysters to start for me, king prawn with curry mayo followed by half lobster for my wife and sea bass with ravioli for me, the sticky toffee pudding. Every mouthful was absolutely delicious!

The lobster doesn’t taste really fresh. It is really small portion and bad quality considering its high price. The service is also not very good. They didn’t provide us any water until we tried to ask couple times. Don’t understand why others give high reviews.

This restaurant in Canterbury is truly exceptional, deserving the title of the best in town. From the delectable food to the excellent service and inviting atmosphere, it provided an amazing dining experience. The restaurant's meticulous attention to detail was evident in every aspect. I opted for their signature dish, the Dirty Burger with potato wedges, and it exceeded my expectations. The burger was generously sized and bursting with flavor, while the potato wedges were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Amazing gluten free food. This is a 5 for me but not for my partner who isn't gluten free. I had the beer battered fish and chips and it was amazing. Haven't had a fish and chips like that for so long. It was a huge portion and perfectly cooked. Funnily enough the batter sort of looked like a fish as shown in my picture. My partner just had the tempura and thought it wasn't very nice. Just not Japanese? 4/5 stars for her.

Best when a live band is playing in the next street 👌🏽 Good food, nice location, proper ketchup and mayo bottles, best for people with allergies. Gluten free and lacto free available here. Prices a bit higher than usual but therefore local and well made stuff!

LOVED THIS PLACE! Will definitely be coming back :) my best friend is coeliac and this was the first time she could have anything off of the menu. The food and service was great with reasonable prices. Bathrooms were lovely too.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. The food and service so wonderful. Lots of vegetarian/ Vegan choices. And dog friendly, which is great for the centre of Canterbury. We had a mixture of starters between two people, and vegan sticky toffee pud, and vegan crumble for desert, both absolutely yummy.

Cozy little bistro tucked away in the heart of the city. Very interesting mix of dishes on the menu, and always something new to try! Lots of vegan options too. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. A bit on the pricier side, for relatively small portions, but would still recommend and visit again.

24 of us had a great late lunch yesterday after our wine tasting event we had locally, we had organised with the restaurant a set of menu which included a selection of all the started for the table and then each guest chose their main and dessert! The weather was perfect and the atmosphere buzzing and was the perfect combination for a fantastic afternoon - Farouk was first class who was the main waiter who looked after us and was excellent and was very attentive and was on it! John the F&B manager was also great who helped plan and book the event for a large booking! Thanks CT for a great large group lunch everyone left very full and well oiled 😍🤪🤪

Went here for my birthday and had such a great time! The food was amazing — especially the chicken and waffles, seriously one of the best I’ve had. The staff were super friendly. Loved the vibe of the place too, really cozy and chill. Definitely coming back!

We went to celebrate our granddaughter's 18th birthday, she wanted to try this venue as it was recommended by friends. It caters for all ages and we had a fabulous evening with the drinks waiter making a very special cocktail for Evie ,we cant fault the service

Dined here tonight for my daughters birthday... Absolutely wonderful service from the start. I made the reservation and noted it was my daughters birthday and Summith and his team made a, fuss of her and attentive. Very good hospitality, good music, lovely atmosphere. Even after a, slight issue with the steaks cooking - they rectified it immediately. Brilliant service. Really looked after our party of 6. Pic: virgin pina colada (alcohol free) lovely I could enjoy a fancy drink as the designated driver.

Great seating area. Friendly and hospitable service. Many thanks to our waitress Mia who was excellent. Wonderful selection of mocktails and cocktails. I had the CharlieTango None - a sweet & refreshing mocktail. Food was well presented and well priced. Would definitely call back again.

Our server Paul made the experience here what it was 1000%, our booking was for 1:00pm and the birthday girl was about 15-20 minutes late as she had no idea this was taking place as it was a surprise and by the time she had arrived and we had all been acquainted we were told we would have to leave at 2:30 for the next table who had booked, a lot of the senior member’s of staff were continuously hovering over our table and were almost rushing us to leave which we weren’t too pleased with especially since they weren’t that busy. However as 2:30 came along and the time went past nothing else was said or done about us leaving so we let that go, they gave the birthday girl a cocktail with a picture of her on it which certainly made up for that everyone enjoyed our meals and the drinks were lovely and they kept them coming, great atmosphere apart from that small issue.

My boyfriends and I are regulars here and are always taken care of very well particularly by Sumit. The staff and service are always exceptional along with the drinks and food. Would highly recommend for any newcomers!

This truly is a hidden gem! It's outside the city walls but just 2 minute walk south east from Fenwick so easily able to have a few drinks around the main high street before your meal. We opted to share a flatbread which was delicious. We then decided to have a pasta as a first course and we both had the venison as a main, all of which, blew us away! Really warm, friendly, welcoming service and simply outstanding authentic food! Would highly recommend. It's quaint, romantic, great value and gastronomically pleasing! Would give it 6 out of 5 if I could!

This restaurant is a very quaint, authentic Italian one. The food is delicious but pricy for what it is. The boys ordered stuffed tortellini I think, which was presented in a lovely bowl but there were 4 tortellini in total. I ordered the crumbed seafood to share for £56. I swear there were more crumbed courgette than actual seafood, unfortunately. The service from the gentleman was stern and lady tried to make up for it with her generous smile and kindness. A very odd experience for my taste, I'm afraid to report. I'm pleased to say that the dessert on the other hand, was lovely.

I arrived with a friend without having booked for dinner and was given their very last table. It’s a family-run restaurant with a smallish pleasantly rustic dining room on the first floor. Although it was very busy the service and the food was excellent. Great informal atmosphere and we were under no pressure to vacate the table at the end of our meal. Will certainly go back.

Overall it was ok. The taste was good. I had a cheeseburger ( burger topped with cheddar cheese) which was greasy and I don’t suggest that. I will suggest beef burger if you want to have a better experience and don’t like greasy food.

It's a cute hot dog stand on the Canterbury High Street which sells pretty good food. The bratwurst was good and I especially liked the caramelised onions on top. They've got loads of options and the 'small' sized dog is good enough for most people unless you're VERY hungry. Would definitely recommend.

Relocating from London, and I have to admit the best burger I had in UK so far. Cleanly cooked, juicy and complimented by a lovely customer service. Located in the centre of Canterbury, this is a must stop if you fancy a burger or german style frankfurter. Attention to detail, and small things like not burning the meat and getting rid if dirty oil really jumped to my eye. These guys have been doing this for long and very well too. Wish you all well in business, and you gained a new customer.

Really good burger from a food truck! Juicy beef, perfectly cooked with caramelised onions and melted cheese. There are benches nearby to sit and eat your food.

Best hotdog of my life. They are made to order and absolutely loaded with toppings. It was a huge portion for £9.50 - we were stuffed for hours. Service was speedy and friendly. My only regret is that it’s a long way from Canada to get another!

My friend and I had one of Gourmet Sausage and Burger Co’s burgers on my last visit to England and haven’t had a burger as good since! The cheese torch is something that lives in my dreams! Also the staff are super friendly and great to chat with while you wait! Highly recommend. Thank you!

We came here for the first time today, and were highly impressed all round. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the interior was clean and bright, with a cute little garden at the back, as well as outside seating at the front. As for the food, it was top class. Our vegan and veggie breakfasts were delicious and healthy, and really well presented. I really cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful place and wish l lived closer so l could visit more often. Highly recommended 👌

We went on 2x separate occasions but can only submit one review - excellent breakfast options, nicely cooked & tasty, decent prices as well. Lunch was a bit disappointing, with the salmon & lentil salad, as given the price was £16, the salmon was dry and no flavour to the meal overall. Could only eat a 1/3 of it, however the club 35 sandwich was superb. Friendly staff and delicious coffee, both hot and cold.

Me and my family had lovely experience here. We stopped in for a drink and some cake - one of our group had a peppermint tea which was made locally and a lovely vegan croissant warmed up, another had a coffee and a gluten free lemon cake and I had a vegan biscoff and ginger milkshake which was divine. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food and drinks were delicious. I'd definitely go again and try some of the cakes! It's always lovely to have more than one dairy or gluten free option.

Excellent lunch! We had the pulled pork wrap and the mozzarella panini, both were very good. The portion sizes are large so you’ll definitely be full. We also had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows (both of which came with an extra cost but they were less than 1£). We came with our dog and they offered us a free pup cup! The waitress (whose name we didn’t catch) was very sweet! We recommend 100%!

I've been to Cafe No 35 on several occasions and each time has been excellent. Food is exceptional and so much choice, and if you are a Vegan or Veggie, you are in for a treat! Beautiful courtyard garden is a hidden gem in the summer too. They have some great events, and the 'sip and paint' evening was great fun! Oh....and it's dog friendly!

Quality is rather poor and the menu is very limited a few fish and chip classic sides are not available. And portion sizes are very small for the prices. Definitely will not be returning. If you are after a good quality well priced meal just go further down the road to Marinos.

I fancied a quite bite to have while I wait for my ride to arrive. Seemed like a good idea at the time, drinks refrigerator nicely located at the entrance and can help yourself. Order taken for the cheesy chips and, luckily they had some from previous batch. The lady even took the chips to a back room then returned with my order, to my surprise. There was a big standard cheese, not even melted as seen on the picture and some of it was still cold and knotted together. The presentation was not there and the taste of, this was worth my money was non existent. I was terribly dissatisfied with everything, so much so that I didn’t even want to give them a star. That’s how much I was annoyed with the service I was given

Lucky too get one star? The chips were terrible and cold and the sausages just as bad!! Will definitely not be using this place again

We went in here for an evening meal on our visit to Canterbury,it’s not a bad little place could do with a bit of a spruce up.The food was quite enjoyable you certainly got a good portion for your money.The Mrs went to the toilets and said they were not that brilliant,it’s a shame as little things like this let the place down.You can sit in or take away with a good selection on the menu.

The food was awfull, water has more flavour than the fish and chips. We got an overdose fat. We gained 5 kilo each. It was like a bathtub filled with fat. Dont go here. We had to put 500 grams of salt on the meal to make it bearable.

Great fish, fast service and helpful staff. The place was recommended to us by our tour guide who took us on the nearby boat cruise. We tried their standard fish and chips. The fish felt fresh and everything was nice and crunchy. Definitely one of the best places in Cantebury to try the traditional fish and chips.

Such a bad experience. Ordering speaker on the drive thru not working so was painful sitting in the queue to order at the window and then wait forever at the window. Literally shockingly bad. Makes you angry by the time you get your food when this is meant to be a good experience. It's been bad for years. Needs sorting out or shutting. Always an issue at this site

There is nothing fast about this “fast food” restaurant. Despite being empty all the time, the wait time is unbelievably long and they still can’t get the order right with all that extra time they take staring at the orders screen. Just go in McDonald’s next door if you want decent food. Also the drive through order machine is still broken with no sign telling you until you’ve driven in so you are stuck waiting for ages while they slowly take orders at the window.

Waited 25 minutes for the window since speaker was out of order. Got my food and within an hour got food poisoning. Nice one Would give 0 stars if I could Absolutely tragic

They always get your order wrong or leave something out, then make out like your the inconvenience because you've gone back for missing items. Update, went again to eat in for the kids. But got a batch of uncooked hot wings, to which she said it's because it is spiced well.... meaning if your chicken is white they're not spiced well. It's the unapologetic attitude I have a problem with, as though I should accept the idiocy I have had to endure. You tell me your opinion on whether you would eat it or want another. Also the corn we were given was old, I've added a video, we order at about 6pm, for dinner

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Drum and base with swear words playing and staff laughing and refusing to turn it down or off despite kids in the restaurant. Cold food. Trying to close early (9pm!!) and getting upset because we wanted food and to sit and eat it, shocking expectations in a restaurant! Rude staff, a manager that can't manage anything including reading a receipt. People coming in store to complain that they had been waiting at the drive through window for 15 minutes without their order being taken. It was clean though so at least they've got that bit right?!?

Best filled baguette I had in a very long time! Full of fresh homemade ingredients. I had chicken with braised onion and rocket. Perfect for a quick lunch, very satisfying and delicious. Really worth the extra 2-minutes walk away from the usual sandwich spot in the high street. Great service, always nice to support independent businesses run by lovely people who put effort in offering good food. And the espresso can pass any Italian test!

Even in a very very hot day, the freshly baked baguette from the Sandwich Bar nailed it — it really brightened my day up! The owners were very kind and friendly. I spent 15 minutes waiting for the baguette to cooked and it is worth it! I could say that this shop provides a very quality bake goods! Highly recommend : baguette + chicken mayo/salad (7£ with one big baguette + dessert or crisp and drink)

I wanted a toy so i ordered a happy meal. Options on the app says toy or book. I chose toy. They gave me a book. They ran out of toys. They said its ‘subject to availability’ so i didn’t have a choice They should have removed the toy option if they didnt have it. I feel like i got scammed!

I pre ordered and when i got here it said something was not available. So had to cancel then order at the till. Very helpful trainee. Chips were warm, didn't get a monopoly sticker with my filet if fish meal, was told only on certain items

I recently visited McDonald's Old Thanet Way and was extremely disappointed to find a hair in my food. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they apologized but seemed more focused on dismissing the issue rather than taking concrete steps to rectify the situation. What's more concerning is that the staff weren't wearing hairnets while preparing food, which raises serious hygiene concerns. I hope the management takes steps to improve food safety and staff practices to prevent such incidents in the future.I spoke to the manager Amber she accepted the mistake but no further action was taken.

Ordered burgers for delivery which was great. However that said never again. Food was ice cold and tasted like cardboard and I swear they make the fries out of plastic ugh so disgusting compared to Burger King

This McDonald's has a large indoor seating area compared to others . However, the car parking spaces do not reflect this. Air con works well, so you need to eat your food quickly. The food was tasty and hot. Had to ask for another drink as I think mine had been sitting for a while, so was tepid. Staff sorted this out. Drive, though, here is busy and looked easy to access .

It would be better if the staff checked out on grill orders. 3 times they've made mistakes & if I hadn't noticed before eating, I would have ended up in the hospital ( can't eat / touch cheese.

We were in the area and had a bit of time to kill so came here for a cuppa. Cost nearly £5 for two hot drinks. The drinks were self service and there was a note on the table asking customers to clear away their own stuff too. I don't mind mind either of those things but would expect the drinks cost to be cheaper seeing as we're doing it all ourselves. The uht milk for the drinks was pretty disgusting. The windows had been 'cleaned' but with what I can only assume was a cloth that had been dipped in a dirty puddle first. Overall, pretty disappointing

Ordered vegetarian burger. Very soggy, like warm chips. Seemed to have been cooked along time ago. Burger was OK, 2 x patties, salad and sauce. Also served with coleslaw. Cafe pretty empty (maybe people know about the chips) large space, seemed quite clean.

The older lady serving is not friendly, borderline rude. She doesn't really speak and when ordering a breakfast didn't give the option to change or add when asked about this she should you should have told me.. surely it's her job to ask.. if your not happy I'm your job move on. Don't do a customer service job when you have zero customer service.. very disappointing. But typical city type of cafe.. good price and food was nice enough..

Pharmacy - How can you not have a manual override on your shutter? A wasted journey to pick up a prescription, as you are not open because it rained and your shutter won't open.

Not expensive, but sandwiches where old. We ordered at the terminal, but it gave no receipt, we still had to collect our lunch ourselves. The sandwiches we ordered were not in stock The coffee wasn't bad The cake was old and soft

Ultimate breakfast - I think not! A real mix of food; sausages hot, mushrooms cold and everything else warm at best. Tables could do with a wipe down, but spray there if you wanted to do yourself. Staff very friendly and the WiFi was good enough to allow me to leave this review - only reason I give two stars.

If you want a a little special day, Burger King is best choice for you. Actually a little bit expensive, but you can enjoy fresh vegetables and meats. Take care to print the receipt, if you forget the number of order, you would be confused about receiving the food.

It's a nice place the drinks are refillable just in the past, when I ordered they will ask if I wanted any sauce like Mayo or ketchup this time it just kind of gave me the plate and did there own stuff although it was not busy at all.

This was possibly one of the worst burger kings I’ve ever been too! Majority of the staff are lovely, however a few of the people are just completely ignorant! Two lads in the kitchen standing on their phones whilst I was waiting for my food for over 10 minutes with my child!! What is this place, a social club? No sign of hygiene at all. Music as loud as anything, pubs don’t even have music that loud. And this is supposed to be a restaurant!!!! One of them (so called manager) aron, was telling foreign and school kids they are not allowed to refill their drinks even though they paid for a refillable cup, yet letting white people do it with theirs, if this isn’t discrimination I don’t know what is?? Store was a disgrace, food everywhere, bins unchanged, no where for me to change my child’s diaper because the disabled toilet was out of order again. No surprise. Utterly disgusting behaviour. I will ensure Aron is dealt with sufficiently as my child, who is mixed race, will never go through this type of discrimination, especially not by this poor excuse of a human! He shouldn’t be working with people Complaints will be made and the severity of this situation will not be overlooked Next time I’m in Canterbury if that manager is still there I will be going to the local papers,BBC , itv whatever it takes , and Burger King head office until something is done!!!!!! Spent £25 on food, then asked a member of staff for some tap water In my 2 year olds bottle and they replied saying that they don’t give out tap water as they have no taps on site. She said even the staff don’t get water. Please explain to me how a kitchen doesn’t have a tap! Absolutely disgusting customer service. Also the restaurant tables and floors were filthy.

Visited in store several times, and on each occasion the staff are just standing around and completely disregarding all the customers, I once noticed one of the staff rolling a cigarette by the tills and then went on to make food straight after without washing his hands, hygiene who? One of the staff, short and hairy guy with glasses was making monkey noises which I thought was slightly discriminatory. That same day I visited with my elderly nan who has scoliosis and can barely walk, I asked if she could use the downstairs disabled toilet as it was locked, the same manager replied “there’s public toilets behind the building, use those” utterly disgusting customer service. Every time I walk in, that toilet is out of order, which is illegal by the way.

Absolutely pathetic. 3 times in one month they got a single order of 1 double whopper with cheese wrong. This was simply put down to human error. Well, you’ve lost me as a customer forever. If I was able to give negative stars this place would receive -5

Lose a star as order cheesy chips but didn't get those however they still tasted nice. Food was really tasty, I appreciated the meal. Service was ok, they seemed to be more people taking away food than seating in. Boss man was friendly and food arrived in a reasonable time. I was happy with where I seated , got to look at all my emails in peace.

Great staff memebers, very good prices and great food. The other day I was served by a beautiful young lady called Almas, she took extreme care of me and explained the whole menu for me and helped me choose from the menu. I’ve been to a lot of fast food places and dealt with their customer service however I have to say Alma’s was something special and I believe with the way she works she will definitely elevate the business by miles. Definitely you will not be disappointed.

The food here is always amazing, and the staff are super friendly. I was confused about the menu and asked Mansi for help. She kindly explained everything to me with patience and a smile. Even though the place was busy, she still took the time to make sure I understood. Her kindness really stood out ...thank you

The food was ok, it isn't as good as the Dover branch. Also, the toilet was disgusting. For a place that prides itself on customer service, I was surprised the toilets were in such a state. The disabled toilet was gross, had no loo roll and some liquid all over the floor! The other toilet had piss all over the seat, no loo roll and was generally in a state with bits of toilet paper on the floor and some mystery liquid as well. I had to ask for cleaning supplies to clean it, and then I also had to ask for toilet paper as there was none. By the time I managed to use the loo, my food was cold 🙄 will not go back.

Love the vibes here, music is actually pretty good and staff are always patient. We are a bunch of students who come in often, and they don’t get peed off even with all the noise we make. They’re always friendly and jokes.

Ordered mostly salt and pepper dishes as we were craving crispy meats and chips but it was all soggy due to too much oil. I only live few mins away so collected on time and ate it as soon as I got home. It was also very salty. I have had them before and it wasn’t this bad but this time I’m very disappointed!!

I order some spare ribs and curry sauce. It was absolutely not worth of price i paid. Spare Ribs protion too small and curry sauce was just you can measure 3 table spoon. One pack of ribs was unusual taste, may be the meat quality was bad. I have to through away some pieces. This take away is not making any quality food now a days. Needs improvement!!!!!!!

Never go there again absolutely the worst I've ever eaten!! Chicken and mushroom tasted chemically, chicken not like chicken texture, mushrooms black and old, kung po chicken was like a soggy sponge special fried rice was just bits shredded chicken and 2 tiny prawns, all inedible slop!!

Sweet and sour pork inedible (second time). Chicken chow mien should be find the chicken chin. Was once the best in town. Will never go back.

Unfortunately not a great first visit to here. The food was generally average, especially the chicken dishes as the chicken was extremely processed. It's always a worry when chicken is dished up in cubes and this proved to be the case. The spring rolls were fine and the rice dishes were OK, as were the chips but overall I can only give 3 stars as the main dishes weren't great.

This is without question the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. And tbh we have eaten at many over the years. The crispy shredded chilli beef literally tasted like pieces of fatty batter with zero meat content. We ordered four different dishes and all of them were poor. We threw it away without finishing it. I have never left reviews before but I felt compelled to do so for this to help prevent others making the same mistake we did. Avoid ❌

It might look a little dingy on the inside but don't let that fool you, I just had probably one of the nicest chicken wraps I've ever had! I got the mild one, Chicken was soft and tender skin was full of flavour, lettuce was nice and bright green and healthy looking good crunch and the sauce just slapped! 9.5/10 for me, I would have loved a little more sauce, but I guess my waist line would not 🤣🤣

We didn't expect to find a halal shop, but there it is. We ordered the mountain burger, peri peri chicken burger and peri peri chicken with fries. They were really good and the portion was enough for us. However, they didn't inform us that there was no water in the toilet and the sink, which was really troublesome for us. Also, the seating area was a bit smelly. Not a bad smell but still it was a bit uncomfortable. We decided to wait anyway because of the cold weather.

I had purchased two Too Good To Go bags via the app, with the designated collection window between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM. My friend and I arrived at the restaurant within this time frame. Upon arrival, we were informed by a staff member to wait a short while as the order would be prepared shortly.However, after approximately 10 minutes of waiting, more customers entered the restaurant and began placing regular orders. Shortly after, the staff member told us that there was no food left to fulfil our Too Good To Go order. What made the situation worse was the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which this was communicated — the staff member laughed and told us we would simply get a refund through the app, without offering an apology or any form of accountability. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. We had followed all instructions, arrived on time, and waited patiently — only to be turned away unfairly, while others were being served. We understand that you want to selling better price but really it is not normal to ask people to wait 1:00 am and after tell them to go and laughing on them.

Horrible Place. Cold food. Burgers had bad smell. They didn’t bother toasting/ warming up the breadcakes. All food is already prepared and cold . The just pick it up and give it to you cold. Avoid at all costs.

27th August 2025 Ordered chicken shish kebab, falafel 4 pieces with hummus, chips and water. An eye watering £19.90. I went in at about 2:35am. They closed at 3am. Kebab was amazing. So delicious. Sauces tasted incredible in the kebab. Every other kebab place I've been to in the UK, use nasty chemical tasting sauces. I think I went with the garlic chilli sauce. However you don't get much for the money. The salad on top of the kebab hides everything under it, so you don't get to see the thickness or thinness of the pitta bread, nor how much chicken you get. Also note your hands WILL get covered in sauce as you eat the kebab. You CANNOT eat this outside. You need to be seated at a table to eat it. Also the pitta gets soggy due to the sauce and starts falling apart in your hands which is also why you need to be seated at a table. Falafel was very tasty too. Very expensive though for what you get. Chips are some of the worst chips I've had. I also suspect the oil was too hot so the chips were overcooked. But I also suspect they are using bad quality frozen chips. They were dry, tasteless and too hard. I threw the majority of them away. Also they're very expensive. Very friendly tall older man works there. He might be the owner. He speaks English very well. There's a guy shorter than him, about the same age who speaks English but barely. Couldn't understand what he was saying. Very heavy accent. Everyone there seemed very friendly. The chips is what stops me giving them 5 stars. I was offered extra salad which they said they would be throwing out if I don't want it. Eat here. It's delicious. Just don't get the chips. No idea about anything I didn't order obviously. If I go back here, I'll update my review.

Situated in the hearts of Canterbury, this is a wonderful restaurant for anyone especially looking for halal meat. Lots of options to choose from with kebabs, wraps, meat, burgers as well as the traditional Middle Eastern sweet dishes. Lovely place to dine in, takeway or just to stand and enjoy with friends just outside the restaurant. A tad expensive but quality food with amazing taste. I would like to drop by whenever i will be in Canterbury city center.

Had a large lamb doner & a large chicken doner, and ate inside. The kebabs where excellent, exactly the comfort food I was hoping for, generous portions of nicely seasoned meat with fresh salad, very satisfying... Served by friendly staff, highly recommend.

My favourite spot to go to after a night out, work or if I’m craving a nice meal, the guys there are always welcoming and put love and genuine care into making sure the meal you receive is to order and as good as the previous meals you had before. Not once have I ever had a problem or a bad experience with this place and they’ve earned a loyal customer

Ordered a hamburger which included an extra of bacon. Got home to find it had no bacon, but the ticket printed on the wrapper confirmed Add Bacon. Called to ask for a refund and was told at first they couldn't hear me, despite my line was clear, and there was alot of chatter in their background, and then was told I would need to return to the store to get a refund. How ridiculous. So a customer needs to unwrap every item in store before leaving in case the staff have made an error? There needs to be another point of checking items before the food is handed out to the customer.

Ordered food and wait time is 15 mins.. The sole of Mcdonalds is the turn around time! I might use other options going forward!

I like the place and it's fairly good. The reason why I am giving 4 stars is that sometimes the restaurant doesn't smell nice, and the toilets as well. Otherwise, all are good. Available: big car park, toielts, disabled access, shops nearby like Iceland, Tkkmaxx, Sports Direct, Home bargain.

It is a good restaurant near Canterbury. It wasn't busy inside but lots of deliveries outside working in and out. There wasn't any ice-cream so we had to change our mind for dessert. Good parking as shared with other shops

Went to the drive thru and it took about 5 minutes of me waiting there until someone finally said “i’ll be with you shortly”. Couple of minutes later i was half way through ordering until the person taking my order just stopped me half way through and said give me one second and didnt come back to finish my order after a few minutes. Then i got asked to park and it took about 15 minutes until my food arrived where they didnt even bother adding any sauce, the chips were cold and stale. Thought this is supposed to be “fast food” and even when they take longer than usual the food is not up to standard i expected it to be fresh hence why it took so long but no. Rubbish

McDonald's more than what they offer or more than staff does already is nothing else more that they can do really. Loads of teenagers as customers they are rude and very noisy, with lack of respect for the people that work there or for the rest of the customers. So a big aplauze for McDonald's staff for dealing with such type of people. They are always nice and try to help.

Rude manager with fake eyelashes wouldn’t even top my drink up for me and left it slightly empty. Not happy at all

The service was good and the people are friendly but I paid just over £30 for this including the coke and was very disappointed when I opened it up once I was home. Then to make it worse the chips were dry and soft. Really disappointed and genuinely feel like I’ve over paid.

Big portions and freshly prepared but definitely not the best fish or chips I've had. Chips cost extra from fish. Slightly off putting from a chippy. Batter lacked any flavor whatsoever. Even the generous addition of salt and vinegar barely helped. It tasted like the oil was slightly past it's prime as well. The search goes on.

ordered large chips and almost half of the chips were really hard (like wood chips) and inedible despite being told they were freshly made. it was like they scraped all the remnants from the bottom of the fryer. i might’ve as well have ordered a small or medium. disappointing as i was recommended by a friend. long wait times in store as they prioritise delivery orders. they charge extra for any sauce and the price of chips is also really high for a traditional chippy which i didn’t mind if they delivered on quality but they clearly didn’t. a massive let down.

Over the years marines has been the best but the last few years its not as nice. Poor pale chips and a few times like warm when had them. Sausages in batter lacks batter and some.items over priced for what it is..ie curry sauce. Soggy batter on fish a few times. Miss the old marinos with better quality. Sorry but it's my view over the past recent years .

Came here after a long day of work it was very late no other option close by. Ordered a chicken fillet burger and chips meal, no drink is included and not even any sauce. Came back to give me my food 10 mins later bag felt so light for £8 and the food was dreadful. Salad was soggy, bun was going off and the chicken was dreadful, the mayo I wanted on it made me feel sick. The chips were dry and absolutely tasteless. Do not recommend coming here unless you want to waste your money on food you won’t enjoy.

After reading some of the previous reviews, we were a little worried as to what to expect, however, we were very pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, hot and delivered on time. We did have an item missing, however a quick call to the shop and the was rectified and delivered within 15 minutes. Very happy and we'll be ordering again 😊

we loved the wings, always do. however when they left half our order out (which was already an hour and 30 something minutes late) we called them and was met with A RATHER SASSY SARCASTIC RESPONSE 😟 the guy on the phone said we were lying and he was “100 million percent” sure they had it right, we said we definitely saw 2 boxes in front of us and not 3 and he replied in the most condescending tone “oh are you”. gobsmacked. he went on mute for a bit and came back w the realisation that he was in fact wrong, however an apology was absent. he said that he was looking at a different order because we said something about strips which we never did, in fact we very clearly stated just wings. he just had an attitude from the get go. foods a shout, service is appalling 🫵 ps a simple sorry goes a long way. PSS, just read the other reviews, clearly we are not alone, fix your customer service

I have been there on last Friday, and I ordered one lamb donner and pizza, utterly disgusting. Didn’t cook properly. The lamb was freezing cold . I’m very disappointed and I’m not gonna recommend for anyone

Take a bow lads that special mixed kebab was unreal, travel the country for work eaten 1000s of kebabs from across the uk. And that’s as good as I’ve come across if not the best 👌

We we're staying in Canterbury for holiday and one evening we stopped, grabbed some Fish n Chips and Chicken to take home. The crew working were very nice and even let us try a couple of things we had never heard of. Food didn't take very long to get. Nothing was bad, it's was a good, straightforward meal. Was a bit greasy, that's was to be expected since it was a bag of fried food. Just didn't find it to have much taste or flavor. Just everything coated in a bland flour and quickly fried. They gave pretty good-sized portions, so we felt we got our money's worth. For a quick meal, Ossies will meet your needs, but if you are looking for something more flavorful, you might want to look for an alternative.

Food is usually good but closed at 7pm on a Saturday is just plain stupid. No explanation just the server staring at me through the window like I was stupid for trying to open the door. Well done.

I moved to Canterbury a few years ago and my first meal was from this Chip Shop - back then it was great. The year that has gone, the place has got worse and worse. The staff are friendly but the guy cooking and serving could be a bit better hygiene wise but I am happy to ignore that part. The food the latest visits is clearly cooked earlier and chips are sitting keeping warm, this might seem an unfair gripe but chips lose consistency and become soft when not fresh (its only chips that I think sit keeping warm - other things are cooked fresh like battered fish and sausage and these fresh foods in my opinion are tasty). Overall I think and this is a guess, they are cost cutting (which is understandable to keep cost down), but it has been at the expense of a good meal. I had 3 bad meals the last times I visited so I won't be visiting again.

I had to write a review about the young man and young lady who served me yesterday afternoon. I would like to say a big thank you both for a great, friendly and efficient service. I was so impressed, you stayed calm and friendly even though it was so busy. Well done guys. I observed them whilst I was waiting for my order to be prepared and they really worked hard to ensure everyone they served was satisfied. Great customer service!!

The chicken wrap had a terrible smell of burnt oil, and inside the chicken was a long, black mold resembling petroleum. It really made me nauseous. The edges of the chicken were crispy, hard as a rock, and like burnt dough. I asked the staff and manager who worked there, and they said very casually that this was normal, just that it was badly burnt. They didn't apologize or refund my money. They seemed to agree. We couldn't eat, and we couldn't get our money back. It was ridiculous. The chicken has mold inside. They dip it in batter and fry it, so the mold grows. Absolutely, don't waste your health and your money here. I don't recommend it.

I heard the Staff installed a roulette wheel out the back. If the ball lands in your order number, you get served. If it doesn’t you’ll just have to wait… Only joking, obviously. Only been here around 5 times in total and I’ll be honest… Sometimes my meals nice and hot and everything I asked/paid for is there. Other times my side has been missing and my Chips were cold. I’ve always loved the taste of KFC and I’m under its finger lickin good spell, so I’ll always return and just moan about the bad times… Tasty food but nicer when it’s not cold.

Good food, but the colonels chicken meal could be better with 3 different cuts of chicken, not all drumsticks. Good choice of drinks. Great service. Very quick.
