The food was fresh and delicious! You can tell they make the yogurt handmade with culture, it had such an incredible flavor to it. Honey was very savory and local Peruvian. Staff was kind and patient with my mediocre Spanish abilities ":-) They have a beautiful garden section, I'd highly recommend sitting outdoors if the weather is nice out!

Their Lucuma shake is really good. It is caramel-ly thick and sweet – felt like drinking ice cream. I wasn't able to finish it in one go. Their garden area was great; it was serene.

The coffee looked very nice, but the service was lacking. I asked for the ingredients of the “homemade” breakfast, and was told it included bread, marmalade, butter, and an omelette. After waiting, they served two slices of bread, marmalade, and butter; the eggs arrived only after I asked for them. When I requested more bread, I was told they could provide it for 8 soles, even though the breakfast in the picture costs 19 soles, which I didn’t accept. At checkout, I noticed the bill charged the higher breakfast price plus separate charges for butter and marmalade, which felt unfair and unclear. It was really stressful experience clarifying everything, I cannot recommend this place.

Personally (I cant speak to other people's tastes), this was the worst salmon poke I've had. I don't think it's their fault it really just tasted like bland rice, canned pineapple, and smoked salmon for 30+ soles. After mixing it this is what it looks like. The garden is super cute, the vibes are really chill, I'm sure if you came for a drink it'd be nice.

High quality food, the staff is very friendly and gave the right recommendations. We went early morning and the restaurant was bustling with folks eating post their morning run. Very vibrant and recommended! Also a beautifully done cafe, you can hear the birds which adds to the charm

Beautiful location in Barranco. Was my girlfriend first experience with Butifarra and a local breakfast and really set up the bar high! The meat was very tender and the place itself was beautiful.

Amazing experience at Puku Puku San Isidro! We bought chocolate, coffee and jam including for friends and family in the United States. Chocolate with aguamento is so delicious. Jesus was great in recommending the most unique products. The prices are reasonable and the quality impeccable. You absolutely do not want to miss this place in Lima!!!! I highly recommend it.

I love this kind of coffee! I ordered an Americano and it was very fruity like dried grape. Size is a bit small , i think the medium size is almost equivalent to x-small size in U.S. Looks like many local Peruvians also like the place. Toilet is clean (even beautiful) and there are many outlets. It’s not usual for me, but we ordered one more round of coffee. Americano for my wife, flat white for me, and my flat white is also very good.

Nice coffee house. The Greek yogurt and fruit was very, very good. The cappuccino was good but a little strong for my taste. We also tried the hot chocolate with a chocolate chip cookie. The hot chocolate was good, but the cookie was great. I stayed for several hours working on my computer. The service was nice and continued to bring water or anything else we needed.

Puku Puku is an excellent coffee shop catering to professionals and anyone seeking a pleasant environment. The establishment is clean and filled with the inviting aroma of coffee. Their cappuccino & Flat White are particularly delicious! We also enjoyed the Jugo Verde and El Kanta Piña, which were both very tasty. For those needing to work, the shop offers WiFi and outlets to charge your devices. Additionally, there is a mini shopping area to explore. Highly recommended!

Trendy breakfast and coffee place hidden away below street level. Inside seating with view of the coffee bar, outside seating in the shade below street level. Minimalist and stylish decoration and design throughout. Attentive and friendly service. Nice cappuccino. Tasty pork sandwich, though the sourdough bread was not my favorite. Delicious smoothie bowl (not pictured) with beautiful presentation.

Amazing! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. We are staying in an AirBnB across the street and we’ve eaten here twice (so far). The chai latte was delicious, the eggs Benedict were perfect, the avocado toast was so good my daughter ordered it twice… oh the acái bowl was so good I ordered it three times (once, to-go). They serve the same food all day, and night! The only minor complaint was that we sat in front of the air conditioner the second time. I can’t believe it was running when the weather outside was 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Instead of sitting next to us, other people opted to sit outside!

One of my fav places in Lima! I’m visiting Lima for a month from the US and had many meals here. The servers are very friendly. I don’t speak Spanish at all, they always are patient with me. Everything that I’ve ordered here has been wonderful. And I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu 😁 The biggest thing I feel is that the food is healthy. I’ve been struggling to find food that’s not deep fried or full of meat. There are many healthy options in this cafe. The avo toast and the smoked trout toast are my favs! Matcha latte to die for! The bathroom is clean, the toilet has seat cover! Fast WiFi, great place to work from. Highly recommend this cafe!

I liked the place and the interior. It represents a warm atmosphere where you definitely can enjoy some time. Additionally you can work there and the Wifi is fast. I had an Oat Flat White and a vegan cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was delicious but the Flat White wasn't good. I wonder why in Lima only some few places can make a good Flat White with oat milk. The Baristas in Lima don't have the skills to foam up the Oat Milk correctly, so it's disappointing to drink a Flat White like that. Sorry but you have to improve the skills of your Baristas in terms of Oat Milk. The food I saw at the other tables seems to be delicious but I cannot proof that. All in all a nice place but not for a good Flat White with Oat Milk. There I can recommend other coffeeshops in Lima.

The food as well as the atmosphere in Caleta Dolsa is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict, as it had a delicious cream sauce in abundance. The smoothie bowls were delicious and beautifully presented too. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast, and would definitely return.

Family owned coffee shop. Coffee is really nice. Tables are great for working and there are plenty of plugs. Not a lot of food but there are cakes and quiches if you want a lite bite.

Great cozy artsy spot, complete with a back patio. Multiple couches and a variety of tables makes a great cup of coffee even more enjoyable. Alcoholic drinks and food in the menu as well. Roast all of their own coffee in house and make coffee with as many types of ways as you can think. Aeropress, Chimex, various pour overs, Ratio cold brew and more.

Best coffee in Lima ! We visited here on food tour; organic coffee beans from a family business that’s been roasting coffee for over 60 years. Fantastic Flat White, served along side delicious sweet potato cake. If you’re in the area definitely pop in for coffee.

Simply the best coffee I've had in a month of traveling in Peru. Excellent slow bar selection, chemex, clever, Aeropress etc. beautiful affogato with a perfect shot. Highly recommended. Fast wifi, lots of seating.

I came here to taste some good Peruvian coffee, and what I got may have been the best doppio espresso I have ever had. The coffee was Curibamba which is deliciously fruity. We bought a bag to take home :) My girlfriend had an iced mocha drink which was also pretty good. Nice atmosphere, friendly & well informed staff and some nice pastry as well. We had alfajores, carrot cake and a pie with white chocolate mousse and maracuya (passion fruit). The place is decorated with old coffee making tools which adds a vintage vibe. Definitely worth a visit no matter where you are in Lima.

Wow! Excellent coffee! We always compare all coffee experiences to Blue Bottle Coffee and the quality of Arabica’s is up there. We were so impressed and delighted to have such great coffee and friendly service.

Top quality coffee through-and-through with small bite offerings that are top notch as well. Its care in a cup, with every step from growth to roast to pulling and steaming done right. Moreover, the spot is quant and welcoming with charming service. And yes, as per other reviews, the internet is fantastic - but come for the coffee, a delicious snack or a quiet respite from all the honking horns in Miraflores.

This shop is wonderful. Not just for coffee, which is amazing and the fresh squeezed orange juice..but for pastries as well. I ordered 1 carrot cake and one chocolate cake for a dual birthday situation. They were so accommodating and went out of the their way to insure our party was successful. BTW, there was not one piece of either left. Yum!

Very slow service-- about 10 minutes wait at 8pm with only 5 other guests. Cappuccino was lackluster (way too much milk and slightly under-extracted espresso). On the plus side, the vegan cake was tasty, staff are very friendly, and the WiFi is good. Would be willing to try this place again if the espresso drinks improve.

A very quaint and elegant little spot! Definitely enjoyed the pasta with pesto and milanesa, and their lemonade was super tasty. I thought the server was really nice! However I did feel like it took a bit too long to get our check so we had to walk out to pay up front but otherwise, lovely little spot.

If you’re looking for great coffee and excellent food that you don’t find everywhere this is the place. Came back several times and every dish we ordered was fantastic. Their cocktails are original and delicious!

First time at this place. Very relaxing mid day. A bit of sunshine in the enclosed garden. Well spaced tables perfect for chatting. As you can see from my pictures, I got the healthy carrot cake and a cappuccino. In my opinion the dessert was too covered in sugar syrups. In the display it was just a nice piece of cake perfect for a coffee. At the table it was covered in three layers of caramel and icing making it hard to taste the cake. I scooped some off to try eating it but it was just too sweet. The other issue is not specific to this restaurant but in general the coffee cups are small and not really large enough to have with a regular sized dessert. The coffee was not as hot especially for a place that is partly outdoors. The food choices looked good on other tables. The service was excellent.

Basically an expensive breakfast/brunch spot. I would not return. The staff were extremely friendly, but the place is very expensive compared to the rest of Lima. I get it is in an upmarket neighborhood, but it is still pricey. The cold brew coffees were $3.25 and not filled up. My girl said her sandwich was excellent. Bathrooms were clean.

I ordered a V60, no one specified which beans I had, he didn’t tell me what choice there was and the serving was without a server just in a cup... yeah, how can you fail the mission of brewing coffee... Takes 30 minutes for water, a cappuccino and an avocado bagel even though only 1 person in the cafe had ordered before us. The cappuccino is not based on espresso but on normal coffee. Which is strange as they portray themselves as coffee experts But maybe this is the way it is in peru. Waiter had an attitude when I asked how long they still need. And then they got an order wrong. The big 2017 trip advisor award banner is a tad outdated. Food was good, the ddago coffee soooo amazing and the place is pet friendly so 4 stars.

We’ve been living close, so checked out this place for late breakfast/ brunch. The view and location is great. Service is fast and friendly. Downside is the food quality: Fries weren’t really done, the Peruvian breakfast tasted not fresh at all. The coffee neither and the juice tasted lote from a cheap hotel. Wouldn’t came back unfortunately.

My all time favorite cafe, I used to ride my bike here all the time just for the lemonade. I can not wait to come again, it is absolutely gorgeous and the food and drinks are delicious.

From a distance this place is the cutest and the view if you’re sitting by the vista is beautiful, but I don’t think the food is as much their specialty as the view. The prices don’t reflect the quality of the food and the menu is not very Peruvian. The juice was delicious though.

We love going to Buena Vista Café for some good breakfast, pastries, and sandwiches. Awesome view too.

Burger is very juicy, and tasty. Fries are free included. Only 29 Sols for burger. Great ocean side view from seating area. Service is a bit slow, but not that big of a deal if you’re not in a rush and you can enjoy the views more. 1 Sol is needed to pay to use the bathroom there.

Great location, but the prices are way too high. You can find much nicer places with better ambiance for a summer evening at a fraction of the cost. I stopped by with friends for a chat and had just a coffee, but honestly, the menu and the overall vibe didn’t feel special enough to justify these prices. It all seems a bit pointless. The place is in a prime spot for attracting tourists, and it feels like they’re taking full advantage of that—more like a tourist trap than a genuinely worthwhile experience.

It is a really cute place for breakfast. The service was almost non-existent. The food had very little flavor. I had the poached eggs with avocado over a waffle. It looked delicious but needed some hot sauce or something to give it flavor. Luckily the waiter brought salt with the meal as I never saw him again until I was looking for the check.

Very comfortable enviorment where all of the seats are sofas. We got the waffles and a ham and cheese sandwhich. Both were delicious, the waffles do come with ice cream that was a bit too sweet for me but everyone has different tastes and i implore you to try it. The painting on the wall was beautiful, a very instagramable spot.

Loved this place! The food was really good and they have german beer. Apart from the menu, they also have 2 beers and 2 pretzels for s/45. The pretzel could have been a bit bigger and softer but I really liked the flavor.

Kulcafé was a cool café! Right off a main street in Miraflores, this café had a nice eclectic vibe with unique chairs, couches, tables, and dishes. The tea was served in a big teapot, definitely enough for 2 people and the herbs were all fresh, rather than served in a bag - which added a fresh delicious twist to the tea drinking experience. The flat white was delicious and creamy. We did not order food but it all looked delicious. The servers were also incredibly friendly and helpful with their menu. Worth a walk to visit!

This place is amazing. We had to wait as we didn’t make a reservation but they took us to a table as soon as one was available. They use Peruvian coffee which was amazing and they bake their own bread and sweets. Everything we had was delicious. We stopped on our way out to get more goodies to take home.

Our favorite breakfast spot in Lima. Everyone in our family loved everything on the menu. From the butifarra, french toast, fruit bowls, croissants everything was just delicious. Went to other places for breakfast during our stay but ended up going back to Cafe de Lima by popular vote in the family. Highly recommended!

Great food yet service is to catch up. Ordered mushroom and artichoke empanadas, and almond croissant to go. Bakeries were really good especially the empanada. But I was there getting ignored while waiting for the food and when asked the staff, they were kinda shrugged off.

Wonderful place serving decent drinks and food! Menu offers both local delights and your usual cafe food. Had brunch here on the first day and also lunch here on my last in Lima. Quite a huge, laidback and relaxing place with different seat zones. Think can even work here remotely! Staff were all very warm and friendly! Do try their pizzas, eggs benedicts and cheesecake! Best of all, their toilets were very clean!

We went to demo both days we were in Lima and it was my favourite bakery we tried in Lima. The guava cheese croissant we had here still lived rent free in my head and I would eat it every day if I could. Only downside is that service here was very slow so would not recommend if if you’re in a rush!

Really outstanding bakery and coffee in Barranco! The guava, marmalade and goat cheese almond pastry is one of the most unforgettable pastries I’ve ever had. The portion is huge so it’s perfect for sharing. They have huge windows which is perfect for people watching.

Best espresso in town! Guayaba Guava Pastry is soooo good. 100/10. The basic croissant and chocolate one are both very fluffy and delicious. Guava cheese wins! The pumpkin iced latte cured my seasonal depression.

One of the best brunch spots / bakeries we’ve been to. Great flavours, everything was cooked perfectly with the best ingredients. Loved the arepas benedict and their simple ham and cheese sandwich was amazing. Drinks (coffee, tea and the juice mixes) were very premium too. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my visit here and ended up getting some unique jewelry. You can easily spend multiple hours looking at all the rooms, so plan accordingly if you love to shop/browse. The shop includes homewares, clothing, a jewelry room, stationary, toys and kids items, a small selection of foods, and even a courtyard cafe with bonsai trees for sale. Service is second to none. Associates will take your selections to the cashier while you continue to shop. Beautiful gift wrap is included with all purchases on request. Some reviews have mentioned that perhaps some of the craft items are cheaper elsewhere. That may be the case, but there are a lot of brands I didn’t see elsewhere and everything is of the highest quality and carefully curated. Don’t miss this store to check off your gift list for the year!

Amazing place to visit and browse through their different rooms. Fabulous art, handcrafts and alpaca-wool clothing & a beautiful café in a leafy courtyard at the back that's hidden from the main street. It's like visiting a museum, for free, but you can buy some really nice souvenirs.

Great art products selection – boxes, bags, jewelry, clothing, textiles, home decors. There is a nice coffee shop behind and a hidden chocolate shop. For the chocolate, the price for Elemento is slightly higher than supermarket (Flora y Fauna in Barranco), but their Magia Pura is slightly cheaper than El Cacaotal. (I only found Magia Pura in these 2 stores). I bought 2 other chocolates, but they were expiring in a week. The store was willing to replace it but I had to wait for around 10 minutes and they don't have one variety that I wanted. I ended up taking their Ukaw chocolates, as they recommended, however the price was apparently almost 50% higher than from Ukaw store in Barranco. (Their price was ~PEN23, and it was only ~PEN16 in Ukaw). Overall, it was a good visit. This is a typical shop inside an art space/gift store.

Customer service was amazing but triple check the expiry dates of chocolate bars. The kiosk is outdoors so perhaps not perfect storage conditions? The bar I bought was bloomed and had lost a lot of flavour/texture/was near the end of its shelf life unfortunately.

Came in to take a look and I lost myself in all of the rooms. So many beautiful pieces and art form local artist. I wanted to buy everything!!

So glad we stumbled into Dédalo! Such a cool spot with an awesome mix of unique and artsy stuff. Perfect for picking up souvenirs or gifts that aren’t the usual touristy things. Everything felt super original and well-curated. We ended up spending about an hour just browsing. Definitely worth a visit!

Gorgeous cafe with great scenery in Barranco. The prices were reasonable and the coffee was delicious. Got an iced latte, caramel cappuccino y el torta de chocolate. Everything was delicious and the cake was a great portion, big enough for 2-3 people. Lovely place.

Funny as it sounds, even in such a fancy place, they overcharged me for takeaway latte and rang up a different price. You could chalk it up to a mistake, but: – the waiters weren’t the least bit surprised and quickly processed the refund – this is a classic scheme used between tourists and vendors all over Peru I hope those 3.5 soles were worth the one-star review on Google Latte was mediocre

I spotted this place on my previous visit of Lima but foolishly skipped it assuming it’s just coffee bar. This time my apartment happened to be across the street and the host of my Airbnb recommended it, so I went for breakfast. It’s such a cool, beautiful place serving great coffee and food bites. I loved my cheese empanada and coffee and my partner enjoyed his flat white and mushroom empanada. I will be having many cups of coffees and treats until the end of my trip. Don’t miss it if you are in Barranco. The wifi signal and the service are good too.

So appreciated my Puku Puku pick-me-ups at this centrally located coffee shop! Had it mostly to-go where they still made latte art but definitely enjoyed the one time I sat out on the turf to enjoy my java and various cakes 😋. The barista was very kind!

I had a cappuccino & my wife had a chocolate caliente & they were both excellent. The coffee is outstanding & you can tell it was freshly ground & roasted. The outdoor seating created a very relaxing atmosphere. If you’re in Lima, do yourself a favor & get a coffee & croissant here.

Very good food. Close to parque Kennedy. Very busy, but the waiter helped us find a seat. I had the churros, and I don't normally like Chocolat to dip, but I tried it here, and it was very nice - not too sweet. My daughter had a sundae with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. It was just tourist priced - as is everything at Kennedy Park - and good, just not 5 stars drooling. Still worth the trip!

Very disappointed with the churros in this place they used to be amazing. But the quality has changed a lot, even the hot chocolate tasted like mud with water and not with milk. Service was slow. I had to stand up and pay half way between my table and the front till. Prices are more for tourists

Spanish place, like you find them everywhere. Good churros (other commentators were unlucky, today's were great), as well as the hot chocolate. I had a Pepito Manolo, too, again very Spanish with very good meat. Of course, this is the Soanish version of "pub food", don't expect any fantasy dishes, but it certainly right like the places I knew from Spain. Display of pinchos, I half expected a Jamón being exposed and cut on the till. Service very quick and attentive, a bit rough, not trying to be your friend, but always there. Nice place!

We arrived craving churros rellenos, but ended up staying for lunch after seeing the dishes around us and the happy customers. I had a very generous portion of a classic causa limeña accompanied by a cold chicha morada. The causa was delicious, although I could have used more mayo. The sauces on the side helped. After our satisfying lunch, we finally got to our churros. I ordered one filled with manjar blanco and another with custard cream. The manjar blanco churro relleno was undoubtedly the standout, but I must admit that the churros were slightly smaller compared to what I remember from years ago. They had shrunk in size and become thinner, but they still tasted great. I returned the next day and had a butifarra with a glass of chicha morada. It was delicious, just as I remembered.

Fun and atmospheric. Very crowded and busy, but that's part of the fun. Good churros. I thought it was overpriced and that the dipping chocolate tastes quite strange (maybe too sweet, some artificial flavour or that it's made from water not milk? Not sure)

There were 7 of us and we came early morning for breakfast and there was space and seating for us. My dad came here the day before and just stumbled upon it because of the freshly made churro smell from up the road. He brought us some and we ended up coming here for breakfast the day after early morning. We ordered: Chicha Morada (highly recommend, better than in the states), cafe con leche (tasted like Cuban coffee but so good), muracuya juice, tea and sandwiches! 🥪 I don’t know if you’ve ever tried the ketchup here but highly recommend because it is so good with everything. It is costly BUT we don’t discriminate good food. Good food is worth spending money on. That’s our motto.

We came around 1030 for brunch and it was not too busy. We ordered the Eggs on toast with caramelized onions and the roast beef sandwich. Phenomenal! Amazing coffee too. Nohely was our server and she was polite and helpful as our Spanish was not too good. 😊

We really enjoyed our dinner..,, ordered the lasagna, grilled cheese, hongos salados and asado con puré. The best part was the desserts, pie de macadamia y pistachio con frambuesa. Delicious! They also made us decaf cappuccinos with the butterscotch flavoring, not on the menu, but fulfilled our request. Alexandra was attentive and helpful.

It has definitely changed after the pandemic, with some mainstream dishes on the menu and a more family-oriented feeling, but it's still a good place for breakfasts and brunch. The outdoor seating areas and lovely interior design make it a cozy and modern option, and their coffee is still fantastic. The quality of execution of some dishes has gone down, with my eggs Benedict being way over cooked and the pancakes served too cold. Otherwise a good experience overall.

Really great restaurant! We were there for breakfast and had the pancakes which were really good. The portion was quite big. The staff was friendly, service was nice and fast. The atmosphere and everything was great. I would recommend it. It’s also pet friendly and has outdoor seating.

I tried this place when I visited the Barranco neighbourhood and was surprised by good number of Vegetarian options. Salad and Pizza were nice. The Mediterranean sandwich which I tried was quite flavourful but a bit oily. Chocolate tart tasted heavenly here and a must try.

Mediocre experience at best. The place is lovely and the service was okay but the 26 soles hummus was very salty, the bread wasnt cooked in the middle, and the squash raviolis were nice but it was a small portion for the price. The best part by far was the orange iced tea. Idk what they put in there but it's amazing.

This is a pleasant spot to enjoy a bite to eat and a coffee if you need a break from exploring the Barrano neighborhood. The pastries all looked good, but I went with an almond croissant. It was flaky and satisfying. It had clearly been baked very recently. The coffee was fine, but nothing special. The service was friendly, and the space was a nice spot for reading and relaxing. It is not easy to spot Pan Sal Aire from the street, but it is worth taking a look.

Loved this place when we stayed in Barranco. Great options for both breakfast as well as lunch. Yes, of course the waffle options are excellent, but they also have great salads, sandwiches and wraps. Really enjoyed their juices and coffee too. Highly recommend!

Regarding Brekkie Menu only - My sister loved the waffles, bacon, eggs. My 3 eggs w/ Mozz & Tomato were bland. I asked for Aji Hot Sauce (to save the meal). The spot is at a bus stop w/ constant traffic noise. So go upstairs with the locals (quieter). Coffee based on expresso machine - no drip. However, cool kids and great decor... S/45 - two breakfasts S/5 tip=S/50 Give the egg dishes a miss - you'll be happier & richer for having done so ...

Travelling from Canada and my apartment for my last week was next door. I ate here like 7 times in a week, breakfast/lunch/dinner or late night sweets. They have an English menu and the staff was very patient with me. Needless to say the food is real good. I wasn’t sure how burgers are in Peru because in Canada we breed the beef, but I tried all of them and they were great. Thanks to all your staff for putting up with me.

A lovely place on the avenue we are staying at. We arrived at Lima around 8.00 and couldn’t check in until 10.30, so we went in for a coffee and left fully-fed, emails checked and with a great welcome experience in this magnificent city. We chose two different breakfast menus, one with waffle that has ham , cheese and oregano baked into it with some salad, a sauce and an egg on top to finish it off, the other one was with 2 eggs, small toasts and a great amount of fresh avocado and chips. This came with a delicious fresh juice and a cappuccino for S. 23. Service was great, WiFi fast and delicious coffees as well! Highly recommended!

The place has two floors. The top is preferred by everyone most likely because at the bottom, the door and/or window is kept open and it could feel fresh. Also the place offers take aways which has for effect to bring a lot of traffic at the bottom floor and delay the service of the food for people inside. For example, we had to wait 20 minutes for our breakfast. On the plus side, that is probably the second best hot chocolate I had in Peru in the last 2 weeks. My favourite being in Pan Sal Aire in Lima. The waffles I had selected were filled with ham, cheese, and oregano. On the menu it said it would come with a fried egg on top but the server asked us how we wanted it eggs; we had said poached eggs but it still came with the fried egg. The salad on the side was very oily. The ingredients of the waffles lost there taste by being mixed with the waffle dough. That is a pity and they would probably do better serve them on top of the waffle. I had some hard pieces (stone like) in my wallet that I suspect may come from the oregano. The sauce provided with the waffle is necessary as otherwise the waffle feel rather dry. The fried egg of my wife was hard instead of runny. The dish with the avocado was looking rather poor in quantity. The papaya juice was ok. The staff is very friendly but I have the feeling they take on too much between the service inside and the take aways.

Not a bad meat burger sandwich for 20 Sols. A bit salty, and cheese wasn’t melted. Little overpriced for the size, but that’s typical of Lima.

The place is very cozy. We ordered a chocolate cake, tea and hot chocolate, it was all delicious and fresh. There are a lot of options. The music is at the perfect volume, not loud. The people that provide the service is very friendly and helpful. The prices are appropriate not expensive. I totally recommend it.

Best coffee in Lima! The barista makes coffee all day and is really good at it. I mean I have never seen cappuccino foam that fine smooth and thick. Do check out his late arte - if your a coffee lover - don’t miss out on this little shop in miraflores. Not too many seats, but great little lace for a coffee after prime time <3 we had the apple crumble.

Yes! One of my favorite coffee shops in Peru. Its centrally located in Miraflores. It's small and friendly with great pastries and coffee. A few tables to sit down and eat/drink. They also have good breakfast options and sandwiches. Wifi is good too.

If you've been to Peru before, I'm pretty damn sure you know that most places here are bad for customer services. The coffee here was fantastic. I had three coffees from here while I was in the area, cafe lattes and flat whites, and they were all excellent. They also have soy milk, which can be a bit hard to find. The cafe has plenty of natural light and combines a modern look with a warm feeling.

Drinks: this coffee is of high quality. It was tastefully fulfilling as far a great coffee is concerned. We had two lattes. Service: the service is fast. Atmosphere: the place is usually not busy in the morning. We appreciated the different art like touches given to the restaurant.

Very Good coffee shop with variety of methods for one’s coffee to be prepared and beans coming from few places, well described on a wall. Choice of desserts is very decent as well. There are some obvious cafe choices for a meal like sandwich or burger. Good place for a quality coffee in the neighborhood.

I love this place! Best coffee I could find in Lima. They definitely take their coffee seriously. They roast their own beans (which you can also buy) and make their own cold brew. The cafe is decorated in a hilarious star wars - coffee theme, with lots of information on the coffee roasting and brewing process. Apart from coffee, you can also get tea and desserts, as well as a variety of hot and cold sandwiches.

A little hidden gem in surquillo, with amazing coffee and a varied menu. The service is quite fast and the prices are fine. They have desserts too and they are good!!

This place is super cute and well decorated. That was what attracted me to it in the first place - the aesthetics. It seems they have quite a variety of cakes and pastries and I haven’t tried those yet so can’t rate that side of the menu. We stopped for breakfast. I got the Belgian breakfast with Belgium waffles and scrambled eggs and my partner the scrambled egg breakfast. My request to substitute bacon for cheese or potatoes was “not possible” (I don’t eat pork) and I asked the waiter specifically if the maple syrup was real and he said “yes”. As an American, I know the difference and it definitely was a sugar syrup with maple flavoring when it arrived. My coffee didn’t arrive until halfway through my finishing breakfast and the eggs were definitely over salted. My partner‘s breakfast was just acceptable - although they didn’t send any butter with the bread, which seems like a basic thing. It’s too bad because they really could be a high-end café offering these basic things and high quality with small adjustments for a very little cost to them. This would attract more of an international crowd. It seems that in Peru the general public just accepts when they have poor service or poor quality food delivered, and don’t complain. I didn’t complain, but I use this platform for my reviews as a way to speak clearly about inconveniences, poor quality, and ways to improve service for clientele. Let’s see how La Mora Cafe responds and if they decide to shift any of their quality of service or breakfast options.

Every tine I visit Lima, I come to this place. The sandwiches and salads are delicious and nice portions, the cakes and desserts are very nice. The staff are very attentive and polite. The location is also in a nice quiet street walking distance from Miraflores center. We totally recommend this place.

Awesome breakfast! Service was great too. They have a kids menu and a small play area. We were the only ones on the patio so kids weren't a bother. They loved the mini croissants with ham and cheese. They would rather play then eat. Having the coffee with the meal made it so nice to order.

Friendly café located in Miraflores that serves a variety of breakfast options, pastries and lunch. I ordered the Hamburguesa Frikadelle served with fried potatoes. The burger was cooked a little rare but had a nice flavor. Nice place for a quick bite or to meet with friends

Stopped here one afternoon for afternoon snack because I love their display of pastries and cake. Cappuccino arrived promptly with beautiful presentation but I think there’s more milk than coffee. Was excited to try pistachio filled croissant … it came with a generous portion of pistachio filling, excellent taste … but a flaky croissant it is not 😕. Indeed the croissant is soft to touch and it’s more like eating pistachio cream. 5 rating for excellent service & a clean beautiful restaurant. 3 for the foods.

Café de la Paz is a cozy spot with a small patio, perfect for a quick bite. The coffee was good and the vegetable sandwich was incredibly fresh and satisfying. The waitress is able to communicate in English.

The interior was dated. My wife said it looked like a neglected chifa. The food was mediocre. My wife's BLT was uninspired but the bread was good. It could have been more evenly toasted. My croque was much better however it was on the back of the menu and wasn't a combo meal and my coffee was billed separately while I thought the coffee was going to be included. Not a biggie. Our coffee came well after our meal. With so many other options, I don't think we'll return. It was a forgettable experience at best.

Poor value for money and overcharged. Cesar's salad con Pollo consisted of lettuce, five pieces of chicken, and five pieces of dry toast. Absolutely not in accordance with the menu (as pictured). Pay close attention when paying with a credit card! When paying, they asked for a tip, and after examining the credit card receipt, the bill was "accidentally" exactly 100 sol too high. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Well, that's hard to believe as a tourist who might not be paying attention and never return. Easy money...

I didn't know what to expect but the food was really good! The meat in the calzones (chicken and beef) were good but the Tequeños were so friggin delicious with the avocado sauce. Finished it with a natural mango juice and crossiant.

My partner and I came here for a late night snack on a Saturday night (after 2100h) in early November. We ordered an appetizer (tequeños de lomito saltado s/28); a soup (sopa a la criolla con carn s/25); and two dessert crepes (crepe de naranja y queso s/26 and crepe suchard s/26). We ordered all four dishes at the same time, but thinking that they would bring them out in a logical order. We were served the crepe suchard (which has ice cream) first. A few minutes later, the soup came out, promptly followed by the appetizer rolls. And then a minute later the last dessert crepe came out. Overall the food was good, but the experience was dampened because the food all came out at once. The crepes would have tasted better had we gotten to eat it "when it was fresh", instead of with half melted ice cream because it was sitting there while I was eating the soup and appetizer first.

After looking for some lovely places to have breakfast around Barranco, we found this place. The aesthetics and the services are pleasing, and I will recommend it. On the other hand, the food is okay, not bad or good. The focaccia has a nice pesto, soft and well combined with the tomatoes and cheese, but the focaccia bread is not a focaccia. There is no olive oil flavour, and it’s closer to toast than a soft bread. The rest of our breakfast had a plain flavour, the avocado had almost no taste, and the eggs had no salt (I think this is okay since everyone had a different sensitivity to salt). The coffees and smoothies were delicious, and I recommend trying some of their options. Regarding the atmosphere, I strongly recommend you sit outside in the beautiful garden and not inside. The blender they have is so loud, which makes it almost impossible to talk.

The cutest cafe setup, with a charming patio surround by greenery and flowers set back from the Main Street. Their coffee is great and their pastry options are even better - I tried the tahini chocolate chip cookie and it was to die for! I also got the yogurt bowl with a side of peanut butter and it was all fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is a great boutique shop right next door where the owner of the cafe designs some clothing as well! Highly recommend and a great quiet spot to do some work during the day, with a few tables inside as well.

Felicia & Domingo is a necessity to visit if you are in Barranco! If you are looking for excellent friendly service, delicious food & pastries, exquisite coffee, an enchanting, beautiful and relaxing ambience this is the place to be. This cafe is tastfully decorated indoors and outdoors. The garden seating area has a lovely romantic vibe. The indoor seating area is very chic. There is wifi so this is the perfect place to get some work done. An English menu is available upon request. The menu has both food, drink and sweets. The drink menu has a variety of coffee, tea, iced options, extracts(smoothies) and tea. The sweet, salty and snack menu has a lovely selection of baked goods, a selection of toasts (Avocado toast for example) and hummus. My boyfriend and I tried the Avocado toast, a chocolate cookie and 2 cappuccinos. These were a 10/10 for us. They are well priced and overall I had a great experience. Beautiful setting in a shared traditional casona barranquina, with an inviting sitting area on the front garden. They offer a range of herbal teas, coffee, vegan pastries, toasts... I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie! The coffee is just ok. I even loved the plants inside and out, lovely selection.

This cafe has a beautiful ambience and the food looks and tastes like art. I got the veggie omelette and a matcha latte. Both had rich taste, the mushrooms and caramelized onions in the omelette were delicious!

Me and my girlfriends we had a Sunday brunch here. Staff was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. The place is very well located, even though you are very near to the center of Barranco it is not noisy at all. The amount of food was a little less but in general we enjoyed our time. ı will definitely come back again to check their other plates aand do some street watching while I enjoy my coffee 🤌🏻

Lovely café in a calm setting by the ocean. Fresh ingredients, impeccable service and a real barrista that makes capuccino the way it should. As a bonus it opens early which was great for my schedule.

Lovely little coffee shop with excellent desserts and top notch coffee. A good place that is just in between the Bridge of Sighs and Museo Pedro de Osma. Why take an Uber when within walking distance you can rest and get a nice bite and drink?

Beautiful cafe! Great spot for a coffee date, sweet treat, or full meal. The coffee was excellent (the espresso is served with sparkling water as a chaser), and the pastries were perfect. We tried some of the vegan and gluten-free options in addition to more traditional offerings, and everything was top-notch. The pastry dough is exquisite, and the filling have a wonderful balance of flavors. 10/10 would recommend, and we have already returned for a second time!

We stumbled upon this charming café on a picturesque street in Barranco and instantly fell in love. The cozy, rustic space with warm lighting and artistic touches made it impossible not to linger. The menu had something for everyone, but we were blown away by the fresh, zesty César salad and the perfectly seasoned, flavorful tacos. And the baked goods? Absolutely irresistible- each bite was pure bliss. A true treat for anyone who loves good food and a relaxed, artsy vibe.

Wow bought this piece of alfajores in CASA Lola. Didn’t expect that good. Brought this back to Taiwan after two days of flight ( more then 48 hours in room temperature), the biscuits are still having the crunchy and melt in the month. It has the taste from the pecan and the dolce de leche with a hint of salt and cinnamon gives it a great combination with pecan. So tasty !!!

Modern cozy cafe-bistro on Dasso with lovely outdoor sitting area with heaters. Coffee is great, but usually too much milk to coffee ratio for my taste. Food is simple with fresh wonderful ingredients. Eggs Benedict with prosciutto are on point. The bakery technique is out of this world, my favorite being the kouign amann and sfogliatelle. I've been coming back and they keep improving and adding new items on the menu.

Just ordered a cheeseburger but it was excellent. Fries were weirdly shaped but also excellent! Highly recommended

Pros -the restaurant ambient was really chill spacious and the backyard was really nice specially at night. - the french toast was good (27 soles) - the staff, in particular the man in the entrance was pretty welcoming and polite Cons - the chairs outside were cold cause they are steal chairs.

The restaurant changed the name into Casa Loca. Food and coffee are amazing! Especially when you visit Barranca area you mostly get smaller cup of coffee, but Casa Loca is not the case! Recommend the dishes I ordered. Must try! Gluten free friendly, too!!!

Every time I go back to Peru for a visit, I love to explore new little cafes. Well Las vecinas was one of them and I loved it. The food is great all organic and fresh. Great coffee in a beautiful relaxed setting. On top of that great wifi. It was so nice.

So far it has been the best espresso I've had in Barranco. It was also well designed (Though means nothing it has its effect). The wifi is strong and and great airy ambience. I would recommend it.

Excellent place to find very healthy food options in Lima. Very fresh salads and quinoa bowls. The quiche is excellent! Atmosphere is clean and quiet even during Sunday lunch rush. Add this place to your “must try” list. For those of you not counting calories, they have a wide variety of patisserie available!

Excellent empanadas and salads. Nice in door and outdoor facility. Service could be a bit better, but it's great for coffee, light lunches and snacks. Almost forgot they have delivery too.

The food is very good and prices are really good. Portions are well made. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. They provide excellent customer service. The best part of our lunch were the desserts.

One of the most traditional cafes around the area. Super well know, San Antonio is always super delicious. I had a club sandwich with white bread and it was very well done, with fresh ingredients and the bread was warm and crusty, best combination!

Slow service... Really slow. It's been 25 minutes since we ordered water! Update: I ordered Lomo Fino and they brought me the worst chuck "steak" I've ever tasted. It only took about an hour 15 minutes.

Very beautiful place on the Miraflores boardwalk, with an incredible view of the ocean and sunset. Very romantic spot to go as a couple. The crepes and service were excellent.

Come for the views! The crepes are pretty good. But check your order at pickup. My milkshake dulce de leche con fresa turned into a crepe. They agreeably took back the crepe and made a milkshake. But this time only dulce de leche, and they forgot the fresa. I wasn't going back a third time, so I just enjoyed what was called a milkshake, but was really more like milk. No ice cream to be seen. Oh well, the view was great.

The crepe is big and tasty. The melted cheese add more flavour to the crepe.

Found this little place along the coast near the parque de amor. Very cute with amazing food, milkshakes and coffee. Highly recommend if you need a bite to eat, relax, smell and watch the ocean.

This creparía has wonderful view of the Miraflores coastline! The sweet crepe is delicious, and the coffee is also pretty good, but the Nutella coffee is a bit too sweet for me. Highly recommended to visitors - a great place to sit down and enjoy the view!

Good food in a really nice location

I was doing a long walk on a hot afternoon and stopped here for a beverage. I just had a fruit beverage, not a smoothie. 14 soles, way overpriced and the drink was not big and not even cold. Really not impressed! Just another tourist trap. What can you expect in a Miraflores!

The ice cream is good, but the man who was serving either doesn’t like foreigners or was just in a really bad mood and took it out on me. I was tasting two flavors with him when he suddenly started helping everyone else and left me waiting for at least 5 minutes before I could order. When it was finally my turn, he told me to go pay before serving my ice cream – which was the opposite of what he did with every other customer. He wasn’t a young guy, probably around 45, so I would expect someone with more experience to be a bit more empathetic and professional. I speak advanced Spanish, so communication wasn’t the issue. What’s the point of good ice cream in a nice place if the person serving it has such negative energy?

Piña con hierba luisa (pineapple with lemon verbena) and chocomente - both delicious and the piña was super refreshing. Was a little confused at first about how to order, but the staff was helpful and pointed us to where we needed to pay before going to the counter to get the ice cream.

It's a good ice cream. However like others have mentioned you cannot try the tastes until after you pay which defeats the purpose. Other than that, the service was good and the ice cream tasted great.

Great milkshakes. I recommend the cookies and cream. Has a nice outdoor part at the entrance with benches to sit and enjoy your ice cream as well.

For vegan food this place is really nice. We ordered the falafel wrap which was good and the scrambled tofu which the taste was incredibly close to an egg. The size of the dish was really satisfying and generous. We also ordered the Carmelo frappe which was too sweet for my liking but highly recommended to whoever like super sweet coffee. The pricing is very fair as well.

This was a nice spot for a healthy lunch. Their smoothies were delicious, I can recommend the almond milk smoothie. The food was fresh and tasty, everything was of course very healthy. The staff was friendly and we had our food quite quickly. The prices are on the higher side for Peru. A great place for a quick bite.

Nice staff. Clean and modern cafe with wifi. Very extensive menu for vegans. I got the caramel frappe but it was way too sweet for my personal taste, with a couple flavours I wasn't used to. The Choco Bowl was more oat based than I expected ( was imagining it to be more smoothie based), and again too sweet. But I'm still rating quite highly cause the menu was super extensive and very exciting for any vegans in Lima.

Staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations! Great recommendations I was feeling uneasy in my stomach (due to flights) and the green juice just made me feel so much better. We tried the mini cupcakes, which were the perfect bite-sized treats for sampling a variety of flavors—fun and delicious. We also ordered chicha, but just a heads up: it's prepackaged, not homemade. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but note they don’t accept American Express. Still, a lovely stop for a sweet treat!

Decided to pop in and give this quaint little shop a try. So glad I did. What a TREAT. There’s so many different flavors and loved that they came in mini sizes as well. I tried the salted caramel and cinnamon roll which were both delicious. Very moist and not overly sweet. Also had the carrot cake which was by far the best I’ve ever had in life. It packed a punch of cinnamon flavor which was absolutely delectable. Came back a 2nd time and grabbed the unicorn cupcakes which my little ones loved.

For any tourists I do not recommend this place. The cupcakes were cute but are very dense, not light and fluffy like a cupcake should be and the frosting was pure sugar. The staff was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience and they didn't approach to take my order until I asked if I could order. I was very uncomfortable to the point when the guy laid the plate with my order on the counter and stared at me, I decided not to eat there and just took my cupcake and left. I will not return, it's better to just go to the Starbucks, pasteleria San Antonio, or Marie Almenara. I saw the good reviews and gave it a shot, I am very disappointed with this experience.

I had high hopes when visiting “Miss Cupcake,” as the name suggests top-tier cupcakes. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered four flavors: Limon, Oreo, Red Velvet, and Red Velvet Cheesecake. The Limon cupcake was extremely dry, almost like chalk, and not edible. The Oreo cupcake lacked moisture and creativity. It was simply chocolate cake with Oreo frosting, and it would have been much better with chunks of Oreo inside the cake. It also tasted a bit stale, as if it was a day old. The Red Velvet cupcake was better but still not memorable. The only one I thoroughly enjoyed was the Red Velvet Cheesecake—it was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. While the cupcakes are visually appealing, the taste fell short. This place has so much potential, but the inconsistency is disappointing. The Red Velvet Cheesecake was a standout, but the other flavors missed the mark. This was my first time visiting and my last. I would not go out of your way to get a cupcake like I did.

Order through the window on right. Pickup at window on left. I believe 4-5p is a 2 for 1 special. I tried the red velvet cupcake. It was a small, moist, fluffy, and tasty treat with the perfect amount of frosting. They need another small table in the garden for customers who want to sit and enjoy their treat. There's currently only one round table with 4 chairs. Inoptimal if you have more than two customers.

Wow. I’m genuinely blown away. Pain au chocolat is my favorite dessert, and I’ve been lucky enough to try it at some of the world’s top bakeries—but nothing compares to this one. The technique is flawless, the crunch is unreal, and the use of rich Peruvian chocolate adds deep, almost raspberry-like notes that take it to another level. If you’re even thinking about skipping it, don’t. This is a must-try. *Update: make sure you go first thing in the morning! They are so much better right out of the oven 👏

I’ve made several stops here whenever I’m craving something sweet, and it never disappoints. You can truly tell the sweet breads are baked with love. They offer a wide selection of breads and cakes, including lactose and gluten free options, which is a big plus. It’s easily one of my favorite spots for coffee in Barranco.

Good service. We ordered an açaí bowl and it wasn’t quite what we wanted. Their açaí is more mixed with yogurt and avocado. If you’re really craving true açaí go somewhere else

Excellent eggs Benedict, only complaint was that the bread was a little tough. The salad was a surprise though; it had a balsamic vinaigrette that had a little kick to it (hint of spice). Very tasty salad dressing. Would come back.

This was my go to coffee shop while in Lima. Top notch. It’s mostly designed for grab and go, but there is one bench by the front of the store. As for menu items, the cold brew and espresso were both very enjoyable.

A very small (literally) ‘hole in the wall’ street Cafè but with a BIG taste. Awesome local Peruvian roasted coffee. Their pastries are super amazing, had the carrot loaf 🍞 was super delicious. Only have seating for to people at the entrance. Nice barristas with decent customer service. I wanted cream in my Americano I can’t believe the guy charged me for it!! Even though I got QUADRI shots it!!

I love this chain, and this particular location is efficient and makes a great flat white. You can actually taste the delicious coffee. It's not just a mouth full of warm milk. It is my go to spot and I have tried many in the area.

Food looks better on pictures, doesn’t taste good at all… very dry no flavor. Also customer service is horrible. Older lady was very confused and could not get order right (we speak perfect Spanish) We ordered rabbit and one plate with bistec (very chewy and no flavor at all) and 2 waters. When it was time to pay we were told 75 sol but than changed to 100 sol. Definitely felt that we were ripped off. I do not recommend. STAY AWAY!

Great food, only 1 dish per day, and you can order rabbit with sweet potatoes in orange sauce everyday. Great customer service. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

Deliciosa! We ordered the mushrooms and the rabbit - such interesting and delicious flavors. The service really set the place apart, though. We realized we were a few soles short for our bill, but they were super nice about it. We returned a few hours later with enough cash and they made friendly jokes about it.

Oh my gosh, we wanna live here! Atemporal is my dream home come to life. I left feeling like I’d stayed inside a mood board for how I want to live. Housed in a beautifully restored 1940s mansion, this boutique hotel is tastefully designed down to every detail: the plushest towels, the softest bed, the incredible music playlist, amazing coffee table books, and a perfect garden for breakfast with birdsong in the background🥹 My favourite part is the little details: they leave a printed poem by your bedside every night. Or they leave a chair in front of the bathroom mirror for you to sit on. It’s small, poetic gestures like that that make Atemporal unforgettable. I already miss it.

What a beautiful small hotel with lovely staff! It felt like a home with all the hotel perks and then some. The beds and linens were comfortable. I think I could’ve stayed in that backyard forever with a glass of white wine!

We recently spent three nights at Hotel Atemporal, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment I As we arrived with a lot of luggage we received upon check-in a complementary room Upgrade, which was a lovely surprise and made us even more comfortable.

Atemporal offers two completely different experiences: by day and by night. The highlight for me was the patio, full of lush vegetation and singing birds. Since it was winter, the heaters and shawls were a welcome touch, allowing us to enjoy a glass of wine while admiring the flowers and trees outside. The room was spacious and comfortable, with ample space for personal belongings, which I always value. The showers alone were worth the visit to Lima—they were that good! The water pressure and lighting were perfect, making it a memorable experience. In the evening, the patio transformed into a magical space, with soft music creating a special ambiance. (A bonus: you couldn’t hear the music from the room, which ensured peace and quiet.) The reception staff were efficient and attentive, offering valuable guidance on all the things tourists like us needed to know. The neighborhood is filled with great restaurants, and we chose one that was just a 15-minute walk away—well worth every step! Back at the hotel, we enjoyed another glass of wine, accompanied by some house-made olives. They explained how the olives were prepared, but unfortunately, I can’t recall the exact details. Overall, Atemporal provided an extraordinary blend of comfort and charm. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat.
