Breakfast restaurant
La Bodega Verde is a tranquil and art-filled cafe with two locations, one near Barranco Square and the other inside the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art). Whether you're working, meeting friends, or enjoying a meal with family, this incredible cafe offers exquisite dishes and all-day breakfast. The Barranco location is cozy with plenty of natural light and outdoor seating options.
Haven’t reviewed for some time so super glad to write this one. During my visit in Lima, stepped by into La Bodega Verde. This place is closely located to the Bridge of Sights and with that, quite central. Food is great, however not too large and rather pricey for Lima. 4 Stars here, would be 5 is portions were larger. Service and Ambiente - nice. Super friendly staff with great English. The Ambiente, located in somewhat of a yard, is green, energetic and quiet. Coming back!

The food was fresh and delicious! You can tell they make the yogurt handmade with culture, it had such an incredible flavor to it. Honey was very savory and local Peruvian. Staff was kind and patient with my mediocre Spanish abilities ":-) They have a beautiful garden section, I'd highly recommend sitting outdoors if the weather is nice out!
Sam W — Google review
Their Lucuma shake is really good. It is caramel-ly thick and sweet – felt like drinking ice cream. I wasn't able to finish it in one go. Their garden area was great; it was serene.
Jev G — Google review
Personally (I cant speak to other people's tastes), this was the worst salmon poke I've had. I don't think it's their fault it really just tasted like bland rice, canned pineapple, and smoked salmon for 30+ soles. After mixing it this is what it looks like. The garden is super cute, the vibes are really chill, I'm sure if you came for a drink it'd be nice.
Cindy Z — Google review
Such a cute gem here. Absolutely beautiful, located next to a gorgeous park, with locals all around. The customer service was phenomenal and the smoothies were outstanding. Must try!
Lidia L — Google review
Beautiful location in Barranco. Was my girlfriend first experience with Butifarra and a local breakfast and really set up the bar high! The meat was very tender and the place itself was beautiful.

I love their poke bowl 🍜 and the naturey ambiance of the restaurant.. but I love the free cat nap service on my lap the most 😻😻

Really nice Blue Smoothie. The açaí bowl was okay, but with more fruits would be better. The eggs were really delicious, but a little bit small portion. Higher prices.

Caleta Dolsa Coffee is a cozy café located in Barranco, offering both indoor and outdoor seating, reliable Wi-Fi, and an excellent menu. The unique ambiance creates a welcoming and homely atmosphere, making it perfect for work or relaxation. They serve an incredible selection of Peruvian dishes, freshly made smoothies, and juices. Despite being popular on weekends and social media, the café clears out during the week.
Highly recommend! The food was delicious, the coffee was amazing, and the staff were super friendly. The place has a great vibe, and there's outdoor seating too, which is a big plus. We had the goat cheese toast with caramelized onion, eggs benedict, and an açaí bowl — everything was so good, I’d definitely order it all again!
Zosia M — Google review
Trendy breakfast and coffee place hidden away below street level. Inside seating with view of the coffee bar, outside seating in the shade below street level. Minimalist and stylish decoration and design throughout. Attentive and friendly service. Nice cappuccino. Tasty pork sandwich, though the sourdough bread was not my favorite. Delicious smoothie bowl (not pictured) with beautiful presentation.
Johan B — Google review
Amazing! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. We are staying in an AirBnB across the street and we’ve eaten here twice (so far). The chai latte was delicious, the eggs Benedict were perfect, the avocado toast was so good my daughter ordered it twice… oh the acái bowl was so good I ordered it three times (once, to-go). They serve the same food all day, and night! The only minor complaint was that we sat in front of the air conditioner the second time. I can’t believe it was running when the weather outside was 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Instead of sitting next to us, other people opted to sit outside!

One of my fav places in Lima! I’m visiting Lima for a month from the US and had many meals here. The servers are very friendly. I don’t speak Spanish at all, they always are patient with me. Everything that I’ve ordered here has been wonderful. And I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu 😁 The biggest thing I feel is that the food is healthy. I’ve been struggling to find food that’s not deep fried or full of meat. There are many healthy options in this cafe. The avo toast and the smoked trout toast are my favs! Matcha latte to die for! The bathroom is clean, the toilet has seat cover! Fast WiFi, great place to work from. Highly recommend this cafe!
Sarbari M — Google review
I liked the place and the interior. It represents a warm atmosphere where you definitely can enjoy some time. Additionally you can work there and the Wifi is fast. I had an Oat Flat White and a vegan cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was delicious but the Flat White wasn't good. I wonder why in Lima only some few places can make a good Flat White with oat milk. The Baristas in Lima don't have the skills to foam up the Oat Milk correctly, so it's disappointing to drink a Flat White like that. Sorry but you have to improve the skills of your Baristas in terms of Oat Milk. The food I saw at the other tables seems to be delicious but I cannot proof that. All in all a nice place but not for a good Flat White with Oat Milk. There I can recommend other coffeeshops in Lima.
Roland B — Google review
Wonderful place for breakfast! The food is delicious and the staff are super sweet and friendly. Highly recommended!

Obsessed. Best latte I found in Lima. Everything I tried on their menu was incredible. And don’t skip the pastries!
Chelsea K — Google review
The food as well as the atmosphere in Caleta Dolsa is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict, as it had a delicious cream sauce in abundance. The smoothie bowls were delicious and beautifully presented too. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast, and would definitely return.

Colonia & Co is a stylish and relaxed spot perfect for starting your day peacefully. It's known for its unique origin coffee, expertly crafted by skilled baristas who enhance flavors and aromas. The breakfast menu offers tempting options like delicious croissants, avocado toast, and healthy acai bowls. Located in the Barranco district, this spacious coffee shop features attractive decor with bee-themed branding and various seating areas. It even houses an ice cream shop at the entrance.
This coffee shop is truly an ideal destination for coffee lovers. The coffee here is rich, flavorful, and just right. Not only is the coffee excellent, but the churros are also a highlight with their delicious, crispy texture. The staff is very enthusiastic and attentive, always ready to assist customers. The ambiance is comfortable, perfect for relaxing or working. This is definitely a place worth visiting.

A very quaint and elegant little spot! Definitely enjoyed the pasta with pesto and milanesa, and their lemonade was super tasty. I thought the server was really nice! However I did feel like it took a bit too long to get our check so we had to walk out to pay up front but otherwise, lovely little spot.
Joelle S — Google review
Brilliant place for all day breakfast / brunch. The eggs Benedict was fantastic with perfect poached eggs, and the chicken and avocado ciabatta sandwich was great. I also got scrambled eggs as an extra and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! Restaurant nice inside and service very attentive

This is a nice place set in an old house of Barranco. I had the quinua pesto salad, the flavor were amazing, highly recommanded place !

If you’re looking for great coffee and excellent food that you don’t find everywhere this is the place. Came back several times and every dish we ordered was fantastic. Their cocktails are original and delicious!
Franchesca G — Google review
First time at this place. Very relaxing mid day. A bit of sunshine in the enclosed garden. Well spaced tables perfect for chatting. As you can see from my pictures, I got the healthy carrot cake and a cappuccino. In my opinion the dessert was too covered in sugar syrups. In the display it was just a nice piece of cake perfect for a coffee. At the table it was covered in three layers of caramel and icing making it hard to taste the cake. I scooped some off to try eating it but it was just too sweet. The other issue is not specific to this restaurant but in general the coffee cups are small and not really large enough to have with a regular sized dessert. The coffee was not as hot especially for a place that is partly outdoors. The food choices looked good on other tables. The service was excellent.
Andrew R — Google review
Basically an expensive breakfast/brunch spot. I would not return. The staff were extremely friendly, but the place is very expensive compared to the rest of Lima. I get it is in an upmarket neighborhood, but it is still pricey. The cold brew coffees were $3.25 and not filled up. My girl said her sandwich was excellent. Bathrooms were clean.

Tostaduría Bisetti, established in 1958 by a Peruvian of Italian heritage, is a serious coffee-making establishment that also provides a comfortable setting for work or intimate conversations. The in-house roasted beans cater to the discerning tastes of true coffee aficionados. The menu features various brewing methods such as Chemex and pour over, with the cold brew being particularly popular during warmer months.
I came just after they opened on Sunday morning. It was quiet but the staffs were really friendly and helpful. Limited English but at least they have English menu. Coffee was good and they also sell Peruvian coffee beans which is good for souvenir. They have various dessert option, go well with coffee.

Family owned coffee shop. Coffee is really nice. Tables are great for working and there are plenty of plugs. Not a lot of food but there are cakes and quiches if you want a lite bite.
Sharlene C — Google review
Great cozy artsy spot, complete with a back patio. Multiple couches and a variety of tables makes a great cup of coffee even more enjoyable. Alcoholic drinks and food in the menu as well. Roast all of their own coffee in house and make coffee with as many types of ways as you can think. Aeropress, Chimex, various pour overs, Ratio cold brew and more.

Best coffee in Lima ! We visited here on food tour; organic coffee beans from a family business that’s been roasting coffee for over 60 years. Fantastic Flat White, served along side delicious sweet potato cake. If you’re in the area definitely pop in for coffee.

Simply the best coffee I've had in a month of traveling in Peru. Excellent slow bar selection, chemex, clever, Aeropress etc. beautiful affogato with a perfect shot. Highly recommended. Fast wifi, lots of seating.
Brock — Google review
I came here to taste some good Peruvian coffee, and what I got may have been the best doppio espresso I have ever had. The coffee was Curibamba which is deliciously fruity. We bought a bag to take home :) My girlfriend had an iced mocha drink which was also pretty good. Nice atmosphere, friendly & well informed staff and some nice pastry as well. We had alfajores, carrot cake and a pie with white chocolate mousse and maracuya (passion fruit). The place is decorated with old coffee making tools which adds a vintage vibe. Definitely worth a visit no matter where you are in Lima.

The Coffee Road is a unique coffee shop that stands out in Lima's financial district, San Isidro. Founded by Alejandro Chu in 2014, the spacious and artsy cafe boasts a design reminiscent of a tinkerer's workshop, adorned with relics of old coffee machines.
Serving great coffee for a good price. We had espresso and they were unusually good. Relaxed atmosphere for a coffee and you can play some board games also.

Lovely coffee shop. Friendly staff and really cool decor. Couches are comfy and free WiFi. Come and enjoy flat white or a cappuccino.

I’m shocked. I never thought I’d write a 1* review for a coffee shop... but it’s trash! I faced the same problem as Mary and a few more people who warned with their reviews. I ordered a V60, no one specified which beans I had, he didn’t tell me what choice there was and the serving was without a server just in a cup... yeah, how can you fail the mission of brewing coffee... I’d better brew coffee in my own kitchen
First F — Google review
Yummy, creamy coffee. Perfect food for snacks - we loved our visit! The staff were very friendly too 😊
Hazel W — Google review
Takes 30 minutes for water, a cappuccino and an avocado bagel even though only 1 person in the cafe had ordered before us. The cappuccino is not based on espresso but on normal coffee. Which is strange as they portray themselves as coffee experts But maybe this is the way it is in peru. Waiter had an attitude when I asked how long they still need. And then they got an order wrong. The big 2017 trip advisor award banner is a tad outdated. Food was good, the ddago coffee soooo amazing and the place is pet friendly so 4 stars.

(Translated by Google) I honestly don't understand! How can such a mediocre and expensive coffee like the one they sell here, with the process of something I don't know, in a jug that I don't even know if it was clean or not, I didn't see them rinse or wash it, have a 4.8? And for 24 soles! A scam, honestly! A Geisha coffee I tried from Oxapampa, Villa Rica, was superior in every way! This coffee from Neira in Amazonas was bitter! And acidic! Horrible! I left it on the table, along with the glass of water that, who knows, may have gone through the filter! It had the taste of the water tank and pipes! No filter, or your filter needs replacing urgently! Nothing more!

I love this kind of coffee! I ordered an Americano and it was very fruity like dried grape. Size is a bit small , i think the medium size is almost equivalent to x-small size in U.S. Looks like many local Peruvians also like the place. Toilet is clean (even beautiful) and there are many outlets. It’s not usual for me, but we ordered one more round of coffee. Americano for my wife, flat white for me, and my flat white is also very good.

Nice coffee house. The Greek yogurt and fruit was very, very good. The cappuccino was good but a little strong for my taste. We also tried the hot chocolate with a chocolate chip cookie. The hot chocolate was good, but the cookie was great. I stayed for several hours working on my computer. The service was nice and continued to bring water or anything else we needed.

Puku Puku is an excellent coffee shop catering to professionals and anyone seeking a pleasant environment. The establishment is clean and filled with the inviting aroma of coffee. Gorgeous cafe with great scenery in Barranco. The prices were reasonable and the coffee was delicious. Got an iced latte, caramel cappuccino y el torta de chocolate. Everything was delicious and the cake was a great portion, big enough for 2-3 people. Lovely place.

Nice and fresh spot to chill or work when the sun is hitting. Food and drinks are really affordable and the atmosphere is lay down kind of vibe. Also if you enjoy ice coffee you will want to try this place.

Funny as it sounds, even in such a fancy place, they overcharged me for takeaway latte and rang up a different price. You could chalk it up to a mistake, but: – the waiters weren’t the least bit surprised and quickly processed the refund – this is a classic scheme used between tourists and vendors all over Peru I hope those 3.5 soles were worth the one-star review on Google Latte was mediocre

Arabica Espresso Bar is a charming coffee spot nestled in the serene Miraflores neighborhood, offering a welcoming ambiance and amiable staff. The outdoor patio is perfect for savoring their highly recommended lattes while indulging in delectable treats like quiches and desserts. With occasional drink specials and relaxing music, it's an ideal place to unwind. Despite its late weekend opening hours, this cozy coffee shop provides a delightful experience with Tostaduria Bisetti coffee.
Great coffee joint! Never thought Lima to have great coffee but this spot amazed me and blew my expectations. When I was searching for it, I almost gave up because it's so hidden and small but glad I found it. The two times I came during my time in Miraflores, I ordered an iced latte and a hot latte, both goes down smooth. I was craving something sweet as well so I ordered a chocolate pie/cake and that was perfect; not too sweet. Swing by if you're ever in Miraflores and need a pick me up!
Chris Y — Google review
Wow! Excellent coffee! We always compare all coffee experiences to Blue Bottle Coffee and the quality of Arabica’s is up there. We were so impressed and delighted to have such great coffee and friendly service.
Yolanda J — Google review
Top quality coffee through-and-through with small bite offerings that are top notch as well. Its care in a cup, with every step from growth to roast to pulling and steaming done right. Moreover, the spot is quant and welcoming with charming service. And yes, as per other reviews, the internet is fantastic - but come for the coffee, a delicious snack or a quiet respite from all the honking horns in Miraflores.

Very nice little cafe (easy to miss the entrance ), good wifi and quite. The coffee is good and the cake are okey. A lot of choose for the coffee (aeropress and other)

Delicious latte, solid wifi, modern & soothing background music, and cozy seating with indoor & outdoor options. Suitable for working or relaxing.

This shop is wonderful. Not just for coffee, which is amazing and the fresh squeezed orange juice..but for pastries as well. I ordered 1 carrot cake and one chocolate cake for a dual birthday situation. They were so accommodating and went out of the their way to insure our party was successful. BTW, there was not one piece of either left. Yum!
D V — Google review
Very slow service-- about 10 minutes wait at 8pm with only 5 other guests. Cappuccino was lackluster (way too much milk and slightly under-extracted espresso). On the plus side, the vegan cake was tasty, staff are very friendly, and the WiFi is good. Would be willing to try this place again if the espresso drinks improve.

If you're a garden lover, Felicia & Domingo is the perfect spot for you. This lovely café offers a delightful breakfast or brunch experience surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees in its main patio. Nestled in Barranco, Lima, this charming coffee shop exudes both modern hipness and old-world charm. The exceptional coffee and extensive selection of beans make it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts.
Amazing place, definitely recommended for a cozy brunch with great food in relaxing atmosphere in stylish neighbourhood!

Wonderful place!!!! Americano was delicious and we had one of the best carrot cakes that I’ve ever eaten.

After looking for some lovely places to have breakfast around Barranco, we found this place. The aesthetics and the services are pleasing, and I will recommend it. On the other hand, the food is okay, not bad or good. The focaccia has a nice pesto, soft and well combined with the tomatoes and cheese, but the focaccia bread is not a focaccia. There is no olive oil flavour, and it’s closer to toast than a soft bread. The rest of our breakfast had a plain flavour, the avocado had almost no taste, and the eggs had no salt (I think this is okay since everyone had a different sensitivity to salt). The coffees and smoothies were delicious, and I recommend trying some of their options. Regarding the atmosphere, I strongly recommend you sit outside in the beautiful garden and not inside. The blender they have is so loud, which makes it almost impossible to talk.

Vegan and vegetarian heavenl! 🥗🌴 Wow, wow, wow! I must say this was the best detour to a different street in Barranco. 🏰 Nicely hidden in amazing garden you will see a special coffee place - that is fully vegetarian and vegan! Truly the best small snack food vegan options in Lima! Toast with cashew “cheese”, caramelised onion and mushrooms was out of this world! 🧀🍞🍄 Come to these guys because they deserve it and I you will love it! ❤️🥖

The cutest cafe setup, with a charming patio surround by greenery and flowers set back from the Main Street. Their coffee is great and their pastry options are even better - I tried the tahini chocolate chip cookie and it was to die for! I also got the yogurt bowl with a side of peanut butter and it was all fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is a great boutique shop right next door where the owner of the cafe designs some clothing as well! Highly recommend and a great quiet spot to do some work during the day, with a few tables inside as well.

We had a wonderful brunch at Felicia & Domingo! The bread was so fresh and all the topping options for the toasts were delicious! The setting is so picturesque and the service was very attentive. Great coffee drinks and sweet baked goods too! Highly recommend!!

Felicia & Domingo is a necessity to visit if you are in Barranco! If you are looking for excellent friendly service, delicious food & pastries, exquisite coffee, an enchanting, beautiful and relaxing ambience this is the place to be. This cafe is tastfully decorated indoors and outdoors. The garden seating area has a lovely romantic vibe. The indoor seating area is very chic. There is wifi so this is the perfect place to get some work done. An English menu is available upon request. The menu has both food, drink and sweets. The drink menu has a variety of coffee, tea, iced options, extracts(smoothies) and tea. The sweet, salty and snack menu has a lovely selection of baked goods, a selection of toasts (Avocado toast for example) and hummus. My boyfriend and I tried the Avocado toast, a chocolate cookie and 2 cappuccinos. These were a 10/10 for us. They are well priced and overall I had a great experience. I will be be back to try the rest of the menu! Thank you again to the lovely staff, Kelly, Frederick, Manuel and Diego!

Beautiful setting in a shared traditional casona barranquina, with an inviting sitting area on the front garden. They offer a range of herbal teas, coffee, vegan pastries, toasts... Dédalo is a chic store located in Barranco, Lima, offering a wide range of contemporary Peruvian crafts, home decor, clothing, jewelry, and art. The district has become a hub for art and culture with the addition of new galleries like MATE and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Lima (MAC).
The best shopping in Lima for unique handmade items. I could have spent two hours there. Lots of little rooms filled with the beautifully curated works of different local artists. Nothing touristy, just beautiful one of a kind artwork, textiles and jewelry by emerging Peruvian artists. Also there is a beautiful cafe in the courtyard. A must visit!
Jenny B — Google review
It’s such a cute store but prices are pretty bougie too! Great cafe at the back. Worth seeing but if you’re getting souvenirs I’d say this may not be the place. But for one off limited edition items, it is!
Nu — Google review
One of the best gift shops I’ve ever been to: a great place to pick up unique upmarket goods by Peruvian designers and craftspeople. A must for discerning shoppers! I absolutely loved my visit here and ended up getting some unique jewelry. You can easily spend multiple hours looking at all the rooms, so plan accordingly if you love to shop/browse. The shop includes homewares, clothing, a jewelry room, stationary, toys and kids items, a small selection of foods, and even a courtyard cafe with bonsai trees for sale. Service is second to none. Associates will take your selections to the cashier while you continue to shop. Beautiful gift wrap is included with all purchases on request. Some reviews have mentioned that perhaps some of the craft items are cheaper elsewhere. That may be the case, but there are a lot of brands I didn’t see elsewhere and everything is of the highest quality and carefully curated. Don’t miss this store to check off your gift list for the year!
Anna C — Google review
Amazing place to visit and browse through their different rooms. Fabulous art, handcrafts and alpaca-wool clothing & a beautiful café in a leafy courtyard at the back that's hidden from the main street. It's like visiting a museum, for free, but you can buy some really nice souvenirs.
Eugenio C — Google review
Customer service was amazing but triple check the expiry dates of chocolate bars. The kiosk is outdoors so perhaps not perfect storage conditions? The bar I bought was bloomed and had lost a lot of flavour/texture/was near the end of its shelf life unfortunately.

Buena Vista Café, located in the picturesque Miraflores neighborhood of Lima, is a family-owned establishment run by brothers Marcelo and Eduardo. The café offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from its outdoor seating area, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the surfers below.
As a single diner I was able to sneak in a spot but there was a wait for larger parties. Service and food were attentive and friendly. My server spoke English which was better than my broken Spanish. The views were incredible along the ocean. Parking for bikes is appropriate with all of the rental bikes and trails close by.

We’ve been living close, so checked out this place for late breakfast/ brunch. The view and location is great. Service is fast and friendly. Downside is the food quality: Fries weren’t really done, the Peruvian breakfast tasted not fresh at all. The coffee neither and the juice tasted lote from a cheap hotel. Wouldn’t came back unfortunately.

My all time favorite cafe, I used to ride my bike here all the time just for the lemonade. I can not wait to come again, it is absolutely gorgeous and the food and drinks are delicious.

From a distance this place is the cutest and the view if you’re sitting by the vista is beautiful, but I don’t think the food is as much their specialty as the view. The prices don’t reflect the quality of the food and the menu is not very Peruvian. The juice was delicious though.

Sofá Café Barranco is a popular and inviting coffee spot in Barranco, offering a range of specialty coffees sourced from top Peruvian regions. The cafe also serves homemade pastries and light bites, making it an ideal place for both coffee enthusiasts and remote workers. With comfortable seating and a relaxed ambiance, it's perfect for unwinding or catching up on work. The menu features breakfast items, salads, paninis, sandwiches, and various drinks.
Large group of 8+ came for dinner. I enjoyed my fettuccine for 50 soles but I think everyone else was “meh” about their dishes. Had great service for our large party.
Mariah J — Google review
Great location, but the prices are way too high. You can find much nicer places with better ambiance for a summer evening at a fraction of the cost. I stopped by with friends for a chat and had just a coffee, but honestly, the menu and the overall vibe didn’t feel special enough to justify these prices. It all seems a bit pointless. The place is in a prime spot for attracting tourists, and it feels like they’re taking full advantage of that—more like a tourist trap than a genuinely worthwhile experience.
Elif B — Google review
Was looking forward to checking this place out as I saw it on someone's vlog. I wish I would have read through the reviews before I came. The atmosphere is serene. It gives that "Central Perk" vibe. IMHO: Tasty food, a bit overpriced for what you get.
Candice S — Google review
It is a really cute place for breakfast. The service was almost non-existent. The food had very little flavor. I had the poached eggs with avocado over a waffle. It looked delicious but needed some hot sauce or something to give it flavor. Luckily the waiter brought salt with the meal as I never saw him again until I was looking for the check.
Cari M — Google review
Very comfortable enviorment where all of the seats are sofas. We got the waffles and a ham and cheese sandwhich. Both were delicious, the waffles do come with ice cream that was a bit too sweet for me but everyone has different tastes and i implore you to try it. The painting on the wall was beautiful, a very instagramable spot.

Csharon82 — Google review
A very friendly place. Comfortable seating for either coffee or a meal. Large windows, interesting murals. The menu is available in Spanish and English. We had breakfast. The American waffle breakfast had great bacon and ham and waffles but should have been served a bit hotter. I also order toast with jam. The coffee was large and strong but good and not bitter. My wife had avocado and poached eggs on toast. She doesn’t like runny eggs so we ordered them hard boiled and they came as requested. The waiter was friendly and was able to help in English which will be comfortable for some customers in Barranco.
Andrew R — Google review
As a very picky American I have had a little trouble finding the right spot for me, this place is a gem. Our server Francisco was fantastic and the food was incredible. It’s slightly on the more expensive side compared to the less trafficked restaurants around but more than worth it. Such a cute/chill environment!!

Nestled along the stunning cliffs of Lima, Beso Francés Crepería - Cafetería offers an unforgettable dining experience with breathtaking views of the Miraflores coastline and Makaha beach. Perfectly situated near Park del Amor, this charming spot is ideal for those looking to enjoy a leisurely day after a stroll on the picturesque Malecon. While opinions on their crepes may vary—some rave about the sweet and savory options while others find them less appealing—the ambiance is undeniably delightful.
Five star for the view . 4 star for the crepes. Good spot to relax and watch sunset while sipping coffee or having a crepe. My Crepe and cappuccino were good. One issue I faced with the language . No one speaks a single word of English and my translator app also want able to help much but somehow I got my crepe at the end . All folks there have smiling faces. Loved my time there . Note that there could be line for buying the crepes. I had to wait in line for my saying for the crepes. I waited around 10 minutes to put my order. They will bring your food to your table or wherever you are sitting and they bring it pretty quickly.

Come for the views! The crepes are pretty good. But check your order at pickup. My milkshake dulce de leche con fresa turned into a crepe. They agreeably took back the crepe and made a milkshake. But this time only dulce de leche, and they forgot the fresa. I wasn't going back a third time, so I just enjoyed what was called a milkshake, but was really more like milk. No ice cream to be seen. Oh well, the view was great.

I was doing a long walk on a hot afternoon and stopped here for a beverage. I just had a fruit beverage, not a smoothie. 14 soles, way overpriced and the drink was not big and not even cold. Really not impressed! Just another tourist trap. What can you expect in a Miraflores!

Pastry shop
Crem dela Crem is a popular ice cream shop located in Barranco, right across from the district's main park. The shop offers a variety of unique flavors such as lucuma and uva borgona, alongside more traditional options like chocolate and strawberry. In addition to their gelato selection, they also have an adjacent cafe serving cakes, milkshakes, and coffee.
Walking around the town square of Barranco, we wanted some dessert and saw this place had nice reviews. We went here and you go to another room to pay for your order. Then you go to the Gelato room to pick up the order. We ordered Cookies and Cream and 2 Maracuya’s con Lemon. The Cookies and Cream was super creamy, would get it again. The Maracuya was too sour for my liking as a dessert but my partner really liked it. Overall nice gelato and solid price.
Josh B — Google review
The ice cream is good, but the man who was serving either doesn’t like foreigners or was just in a really bad mood and took it out on me. I was tasting two flavors with him when he suddenly started helping everyone else and left me waiting for at least 5 minutes before I could order. When it was finally my turn, he told me to go pay before serving my ice cream – which was the opposite of what he did with every other customer. He wasn’t a young guy, probably around 45, so I would expect someone with more experience to be a bit more empathetic and professional. I speak advanced Spanish, so communication wasn’t the issue. What’s the point of good ice cream in a nice place if the person serving it has such negative energy?
Thiago H — Google review
Who doesn’t love gelato, especially delicious creamy flavorful gelato ❤️
Kristian P — Google review
Piña con hierba luisa (pineapple with lemon verbena) and chocomente - both delicious and the piña was super refreshing. Was a little confused at first about how to order, but the staff was helpful and pointed us to where we needed to pay before going to the counter to get the ice cream.
Heather M — Google review
It's a good ice cream. However like others have mentioned you cannot try the tastes until after you pay which defeats the purpose. Other than that, the service was good and the ice cream tasted great.
Evyatar R — Google review
Great milkshakes. I recommend the cookies and cream. Has a nice outdoor part at the entrance with benches to sit and enjoy your ice cream as well.

Incredible ice cream in a beautiful square. Highly recommend the mango and lucuma flavors.

Decent gelato, but the better flavors can be found the same area. Some Nice local flavors like Airequipa cream cheese, lucuma and frutas del Bosque. Nice little patio and other baked goods as well. Pictured is chocolate cake on top of strawberry.

Great music playing. They had loads of old vinyl records. Bluesy music made the experience nicer. Tasty pizza and good service.
Inca B — Google review
The pizza in the size "Personal" is quite small (about 20cm), so you should order the large portion if you are very hungry. Tastefully, the food was ok but unfortunately our two dishes were not delivered at the same time, although we were the only guests. This should actually be possible.

I love this family run art and music café. Every time I come here, I leave with a warm feeling, like I am part of the place. The staff are super friendly and the music is great!

Horrible experience here. I was starving and I ordered food and drink. 15 minutes later I was told that my drink was unavailable. The "hot wine" that's literally advertised on the front door. Twenty minutes later I was told my pizza was not available. So bloody hungry and pissed. 30 minutes later, I finally get the pizza I ordered and devoured it. Don't go to this place. It's horrible. Cool music but not worth a penny on the dollar.

Kulcafé, located near Calle Berlin in Miraflores, is a cozy spot with German influences. The café offers German beers, apfelstrudel, and kassekuche at affordable prices. While the sandwiches may be basic, the desserts are highly recommended – especially the cake. The café's convenient location near Parque Kennedy adds to its appeal despite its somewhat dark ambiance and less comfortable seating.
Wonderful vegan-friendly coffee shop. It offers a wide variety options for brunch and tea time, including German appetizers and desserts. Vegan juices and desserts are available. Nice atmosphere, attentive personnel.

Loved this place! The food was really good and they have german beer. Apart from the menu, they also have 2 beers and 2 pretzels for s/45. The pretzel could have been a bit bigger and softer but I really liked the flavor.

Kulcafé was a cool café! Right off a main street in Miraflores, this café had a nice eclectic vibe with unique chairs, couches, tables, and dishes. The tea was served in a big teapot, definitely enough for 2 people and the herbs were all fresh, rather than served in a bag - which added a fresh delicious twist to the tea drinking experience. The flat white was delicious and creamy. We did not order food but it all looked delicious. The servers were also incredibly friendly and helpful with their menu. Worth a walk to visit!

El Bigote Coffee & Waffles is a charming coffee shop located in the North side of Barranco, conveniently situated next to Airbnb. The menu offers a delightful variety of waffles, burgers, and coffee. One must-try item is the Bigote Waffle, which is a warm and crispy waffle topped with Nutella, chocolate sauce, brownie bites, and ice cream.
Great hot infused tea available and I loved mine . They have sweet and savory waffles and sandwiches and pastas. I went for the veggy wrap and it was great and light. Also tried the sweet wafer ( banana caramel) which was delicious too. We also requested for a side of fried egg and buttered toast which weren’t on the menu but and happily provided. This place has a good vibe. Santiago our host was very warm and accommodative.

Regarding Brekkie Menu only - My sister loved the waffles, bacon, eggs. My 3 eggs w/ Mozz & Tomato were bland. I asked for Aji Hot Sauce (to save the meal). The spot is at a bus stop w/ constant traffic noise. So go upstairs with the locals (quieter). Coffee based on expresso machine - no drip. However, cool kids and great decor... S/45 - two breakfasts S/5 tip=S/50 Give the egg dishes a miss - you'll be happier & richer for having done so ...

Travelling from Canada and my apartment for my last week was next door. I ate here like 7 times in a week, breakfast/lunch/dinner or late night sweets. They have an English menu and the staff was very patient with me. Needless to say the food is real good. I wasn’t sure how burgers are in Peru because in Canada we breed the beef, but I tried all of them and they were great. Thanks to all your staff for putting up with me.

A lovely place on the avenue we are staying at. We arrived at Lima around 8.00 and couldn’t check in until 10.30, so we went in for a coffee and left fully-fed, emails checked and with a great welcome experience in this magnificent city. We chose two different breakfast menus, one with waffle that has ham , cheese and oregano baked into it with some salad, a sauce and an egg on top to finish it off, the other one was with 2 eggs, small toasts and a great amount of fresh avocado and chips. This came with a delicious fresh juice and a cappuccino for S. 23. Service was great, WiFi fast and delicious coffees as well! Highly recommended!
Barbara F — Google review
The place has two floors. The top is preferred by everyone most likely because at the bottom, the door and/or window is kept open and it could feel fresh. Also the place offers take aways which has for effect to bring a lot of traffic at the bottom floor and delay the service of the food for people inside. For example, we had to wait 20 minutes for our breakfast. On the plus side, that is probably the second best hot chocolate I had in Peru in the last 2 weeks. My favourite being in Pan Sal Aire in Lima. The waffles I had selected were filled with ham, cheese, and oregano. On the menu it said it would come with a fried egg on top but the server asked us how we wanted it eggs; we had said poached eggs but it still came with the fried egg. The salad on the side was very oily. The ingredients of the waffles lost there taste by being mixed with the waffle dough. That is a pity and they would probably do better serve them on top of the waffle. I had some hard pieces (stone like) in my wallet that I suspect may come from the oregano. The sauce provided with the waffle is necessary as otherwise the waffle feel rather dry. The fried egg of my wife was hard instead of runny. The dish with the avocado was looking rather poor in quantity. The papaya juice was ok. The staff is very friendly but I have the feeling they take on too much between the service inside and the take aways.

Absolutely love this place! Screw the A La carte menu, ask for 'El Menu' (special of the day). It will be a soup and an entree with a drink for 20SOL. While seating is limited, they offer bags of coffee for purchase along with homemade cakes and specialty chocolates.
We went 2 days in a row while visiting Lima and the first time was an explosion of positive feelings, amazing coffee, great vibes and service. But then the next day the coffee wasn’t even hot it was almost like a cold temp and the vibes were off. I guess no coffee shops are perfect but I keep trying. Definitely stop by here if you’re visiting the city and you like quality coffee, just hopefully you won’t catch an “off day” like we did on our second time. OBS: A shoutout to the banana bread and carrot cake that were absolutely divine!

The flat white with oat milk was great and the banana bread was really good (especially loved the chocolate frosting on top). The decor was very minimalistic and the service was alright too. The only knock was, the cappuccino had very little milk so it was more of a giant espresso macchiato. The coffee itself was delicious as well.

YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!! My #1 recommendation for lunch in Lima. The Davot Sandwich is one of my favourites ever, however everything is amazingggg - the sandwiches, the pizza, the pasta, the pastries, the croissants, the coffee, the matcha. Simply J’adore. It’s always quite busy but there is a reason for that so it is definitely worth the wait for a table. They have the menu online which you can translate to English if you need to. I will be back 😍

We popped into this café for a quick pastry and coffee and it was to die for! I had the cinnamon scroll, perfectly soft, sweet, and full of flavour and my partner had a custard-filled, donut-style croissant that was next level. We were honestly blown away by how delicious both were. The coffee was also spot on. What made it even better was the service, there was a lovely girl working who took such good care of us and even helped us with our Spanish.

This is lovely café - modern style patisserie. If you are very picky about your desserts and you love modern "mini-cakes", this is the place for you in Lima. It's a bit niché and a bit on pricy side, but that's exactly what I was looking for. This was the only place in Lima, where they knew how to make flat white and macha (everywhere else, they just did cappuccino). We liked it so much, that we came twice. There were also some people using it as co-working space for couple of hours (I hope they ordered more than just a glass of water 😀). The service can be slow (welcome to Peru) and plating of dessert is not ideal (welcome to Peru again), but overall very nice place.
Jakub K — Google review
Matcha was flavorless and extremely expensive, the mango cardamom dessert was interesting — sticky outside, good flavor inside (not heavy on the cardamom unfortunately). Good place but super duper $$$, not worth it
Disha B — Google review
We went there with high expectations about the desserts and croissant after reading reviews and some articles online, but ended up disappointed. The ambiance is nice, and the personnel are very friendly and kind. Coffee was good as well. However, the pace is small. The food looks good and attractive, but is not good. The pistachio and raspberry pastry was too sweet, the pastry too hard, and I did not taste the pistachio at all; it seemed like it was from many days ago. The lucuma fruit croissant was also very sweet, and barely tasted like the fruit. The high price doesn't match the food quality. Hopefully, they will regain their previous quality.

This place is super cute and well decorated. That was what attracted me to it in the first place - the aesthetics. It seems they have quite a variety of cakes and pastries and I haven’t tried those yet so can’t rate that side of the menu. We stopped for breakfast. I got the Belgian breakfast with Belgium waffles and scrambled eggs and my partner the scrambled egg breakfast. My request to substitute bacon for cheese or potatoes was “not possible” (I don’t eat pork) and I asked the waiter specifically if the maple syrup was real and he said “yes”. As an American, I know the difference and it definitely was a sugar syrup with maple flavoring when it arrived. My coffee didn’t arrive until halfway through my finishing breakfast and the eggs were definitely over salted. My partner‘s breakfast was just acceptable - although they didn’t send any butter with the bread, which seems like a basic thing. It’s too bad because they really could be a high-end café offering these basic things and high quality with small adjustments for a very little cost to them. This would attract more of an international crowd. It seems that in Peru the general public just accepts when they have poor service or poor quality food delivered, and don’t complain. I didn’t complain, but I use this platform for my reviews as a way to speak clearly about inconveniences, poor quality, and ways to improve service for clientele. Let’s see how La Mora Cafe responds and if they decide to shift any of their quality of service or breakfast options.

We went here for dinner and had quiet an eventful evening. The table we were seated had some plant around it which was making me itchy, they were kind enough to move us to a table of 4. After a while we mentioned that someone was smoking on the patio and the smoke was coming to our table - they politely asked the customer to stop and it was taken care of. The chicken that was ordered has a garnish of some kind of seeds, which was not mentioned in the menu. My partner cannot eat seeds and they not only replaced the whole dish but also gave us a complimentary drink to make up for the inconvenience. We were extremely satisfied with the service, the staff is simply great. The food is nice too and it is a more affordable option amongst the super experienced restaurants around. My partner noted that their plate was small for it being a main course and that they were hungry even after eating.

The cafe also offers excellent lunch options without being overcrowded. Additionally, Lila Dasso boasts a splendid bar serving cocktails and refreshments.
The energy of the place was amazing 🤩 great food and drinks

Yummy Italian restaurant although the attitude of our waitress could have been better. Dishes I tried and recommended: the rice and the truffled gnocchi.
Deborah L — Google review
Modern cozy cafe-bistro on Dasso with lovely outdoor sitting area with heaters. Coffee is great, but usually too much milk to coffee ratio for my taste. Food is simple with fresh wonderful ingredients. Eggs Benedict with prosciutto are on point. The bakery technique is out of this world, my favorite being the kouign amann and sfogliatelle. I've been coming back and they keep improving and adding new items on the menu.

Just ordered a cheeseburger but it was excellent. Fries were weirdly shaped but also excellent! Highly recommended

I just put 3.5 of 5 because I just had 2 things on the menú. Pros -the restaurant ambient was really chill spacious and the backyard was really nice specially at night. - the french toast was good (27 soles) - the staff, in particular the man in the entrance was pretty welcoming and polite Cons - the chairs outside were cold cause they are steal chairs.

Las Vecinas is a charming restaurant and cafe located in the heart of Barranco, Lima. It's known for its commitment to using local, organic ingredients sourced from nearby farmers. The menu features simple yet delicious meals with a hippy twist, such as the famous quinoa burger and elaborate salads. The cozy space offers a laid-back atmosphere where visitors can enjoy their food and drinks, including options like coffee, craft beer, and wine.
Nice little spot. Very comfortable with a chill area upstairs to relax. Fun and interesting books to grab and read on the various shelves. As other reviews state, it is more expensive than even other similar quality restaurants in the area. Seemingly situated in an old house, the bathroom is cute with various plants adorning the bathtub. I doubt anyone has taken a proper bath here in a while.

The restaurant changed the name into Casa Loca. Food and coffee are amazing! Especially when you visit Barranca area you mostly get smaller cup of coffee, but Casa Loca is not the case! Recommend the dishes I ordered. Must try! Gluten free friendly, too!!!

Hip, cool, cozy neighbourhood coffee shop. Excellent coffee. Delicious pastries and desserts. Gluten and dairy free options. Tasty & healthy food. Magazines and books in Spanish and English to read while you hang out. Beautiful setting, in old house in Barranco.

Every time I go back to Peru for a visit, I love to explore new little cafes. Well Las vecinas was one of them and I loved it. The food is great all organic and fresh. Great coffee in a beautiful relaxed setting. On top of that great wifi. It was so nice.
Jessica F — Google review
So far it has been the best espresso I've had in Barranco. It was also well designed (Though means nothing it has its effect). The wifi is strong and and great airy ambience. I would recommend it.

Coffee shop
If you're wandering through Barranco, make sure to stop by the charming little coffee shop known as Inusual. This hidden gem is perfect for starting your day with a delightful cup of coffee crafted from high-quality beans. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to grab a quick caffeine fix before exploring the area. Don't miss out on their delicious treats, like the unique chocolate-covered gooey bun that’s reminiscent of a Cinnabon but without cinnamon—it's simply divine!
While staying in Barranco and walking around, we found this literal “Doorway” coffee shop. I tried the salted caramel latte and it was fantastic. Made with care and high quality coffee beans. They also sold some sort of chocolate outer layer, delicious inner layer gooey soft Cinnabon type bun with no cinnamon. Absolutely delicious. Keep an eye out for it, or you might just miss an opportunity for a delicious coffee and treat. The guy inside was very friendly and nice with a huge smile. I also liked the decor. Go get a coffee.

Love this place. The coffee was great, the Canale was delicious af and the shop it’s self was so interesting. Small in size, but large in character. Didn’t get the baristas name, but he was super friendly. Loved it! We’ll be going back
Mce B — Google review
Love their vanilla canele and the hot americano, so match when having both of them. It's just perfect to grab them to the park while enjoying the sea view and the sun.
Adele F — Google review
The Americano is not really an Americano but a pasado (filter coffee). This was not explained clearly and the server was rude about it afterward, unwilling to change it for an espresso-based drink.
Dan S — Google review
perfect place to grab coffee on the go

Great coffee. High quality products, freshly made. Smallest store, ever. Had a wonderful experience to take away some coffee that is unique for Lima
