This place is awesome. First impression, young chef with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth greets me. You know things are serious 😊 All kidding aside the focaccia was unbelievable. The compliment of flavours. Chefs ravioli was unreal. I'm glad I had enough bread to mop up the pesto sauce. The flavours of both dishes just popped in your mouth. Wine pairing was spot on. All the workers genuinely wanted to know/and hoped that you enjoyed your meal. The lemon cake was a tad bit of a let down...tasted as if it maybe had been there a bit...but by no means did it deter from my experience. Chatgpt recommends this place as well as many hotels and hosts. And for good reason. Thanks guys. Easily falls into the top 5 means I've had in Italy.

It was a place advised by owners of our bed and breakfast nearby. So you may think - we can’t wrong, boy what a mistake. We ordered wine and food. After 1 hour 😡 we were served only second dish. Trying to explain what happened with first course we heard 1. that we do not want to admit we are it 2. It is our fault not to react in time. That night 25th April restaurant was full and service not only for our table was very late. Food is mediocre. Overall - there plenty of other nicer people and places in the area. Do not go there!

The food is excellent. I had some amazing ravioli and some delicious eggplant parmesan. The staff is very nice.

Fabulous place with great atmosphere and very delicious meals. We ordered some local meals and some regular pasta. Both were made in a special way even more spicy than regular Italian restaurants. Wine was the recommended local negramaro and it was also very good.

We had a wonderful experience at Ristorante Garibaldi! The service was very prompt and friendly, the waiter told us what dishes would be a little different or what different pastas were available to choose from. The food was very tasty, both the lasagna and pacherri and the pasta with clams and scampi!!! We ordered a bottle of white wine and got a bottle from a local winery, super tasty! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in Martina Franca.

Excellent lunch here, pasta tasted amazing, had good flavour, textures and also nice veggies, the whole dish was so good! Ordered the zucchini flowers and stracciatella pasta with cheese Owners were so friendly and the place had a great location and vibe 😍 They even gave extra bruschetta while we waited for food. This is the best restaurant in the surrounding area of Martina Franca if you are looking for authentic, home-made Puglian food just as an Italian grandmother would make. We have sampled the better half of the menu in a few trips to this restaurant and I can confirm everything was absolutely delicious. Don’t hesitate driving here even if you are staying 30 minutes away by car. The owners are always present and absolutely charming, adding to an already amazing atmosphere. Location, the outdoor terrace and views from it also top-notch.

We stumbled upon Ristorante Garibaldi by coincidence and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The service was excellent, the dishes were delicious and well-prepared, and the location added to the overall charm. A wonderful dining experience that we can warmly recommend to anyone visiting Martina Franca!

There is nothing worse than feeling ripped off and this is exactly what happened in this restaurant. A glass of wine costs 8.5€! That’s the most expensive glass of wine I ever had…as it wasn’t indicated in the extensive wine menu (it should have been the sign), I thought it was going to be standard maximum 5€ that I have been paying in the week spent in Puglia… should I have known it I was better of taking a cocktail. I also really don’t know how a plate of pasta (18€), a bottle of water (2€), the glass of wine and the copperto (3€) ended up costing 33€!! Incredible! To avoid at any cost.

I was surprised. Great location. Clean. Good service and wine. The food did not match the price they charged. For an average portion of daily pasta with mushrooms 28eur. For a glass of wine typical primitivo 8.5eur, appetizer 14eur... it is definitely overpriced.

Food was excellent (pizza, tripe rolls, and veal) and service friendly. Mildly surprised by the unexpected cover charge of €3 per person - suppose this applies to tourists. Unnecessary in my opinion as spoilt what was a wonderful meal. It would good to make this clear on the menu or a sign to avoid a surprise for guests.

A delicious pizza, a bit longer waiting time but it was because of heating of the owen cause we arrived sooner. It is located on a lovely street and everything was alright. Recommend.

We planned our trip back to Bari airport through Locorotondo just to have another lunch at this great restaurant. Our favourite dish was the perfect Marinara pizza. But everything else that is served is full of original taste and lovelyness too (try the local tripe soup if you dare). We tried a lot of restaurants in the region but came back to this place just to have another perfect meal before traveling back home. If you travel through Puglia, make a stop at Belvedere Restaurant. Loveable waiter Luciano will be glad to serve your new favourite italian dish in your new favourite restaurant in Italy. This is the only bad experience we’ve had in 6 trips to Puglia - dirty kitchen, hair in food, rude service and a threatening owner when we showed them hair in our food. Avoid and go elsewhere. Edit: I am sure I have reviewed the right restaurant, despite the attempts of the owner to lie in his reply.

We had an amazing dinner experience here! We made a reservation for dinner and a wine pairing, and were lucky to have the owner, Ignacio, as our server. His knowledge of the local wine region, the grapes, and the various styles and growing areas was incredible—he truly elevated the entire experience. The food was equally impressive. The meat was top-notch, and the Seabass Cudro was absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is a must-visit. And if you love wine, even more so—this place is a gem. Plus, we caught an epic sunset that made the whole evening unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The restaurant terrace is very nice and has an amazing view over Locorotondo. The food was very appealing and tasty, although I would have liked a bit more sauce with the octopus. Because it was raining outside, the staff were not really attending the customers already at the tables, and when we wanted to have a seat it felt like the waiter wanted to send us home rather than arrange some chairs to set the table for us under the umbrella. Big thank you to the waitress that offered me a jacket while being there, as it was getting chilly.

What a fantastic birthday experience. The views are amazing, but what makes it even more special are the wonderful people and food they prepare. Truly wonderful! The gnocchetti were like little pillows of heaven. Best meal so far!

We had a lovely meal at Pavi. We were early for our reservation but our table was ready. The service was fast and friendly, the wine was great, the food was well-prepared and flavorful, and sitting on the terrace overlooking the valley at sunset was amazing. I would absolutely dine here on my next trip to Locorotondo.

We had a great dinner at Pavì! The staff was super friendly and really thoughtful. We were about to order way too much (as usual 😅), but they kindly pointed it out and they were absolutely right. Really appreciated the honesty. The view was stunning, the atmosphere was romantic (but not over the top), and every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care in both the kitchen and the service. All in all, a lovely, relaxed evening. Would definitely come back!

Great homemade food, affordable. The Lasagna bianca, the Cannelloni and the melanzane ripiene were amazing.

This place is amazing. It has great, tasty food. There are some drinks too. We took coffee which was nice but the most surprising was the food. We took shrimps with celery, shrimps with wheat and corn and baked zucchini. All the dishes were great. Super tasty and freshly made! The food was so good that we took fish with olives. Again it was amazing. Highly recommend to visit even for the coffee and I encourage you to stop for a dinner. Also the prices were really cheap!

Comfort food at its best! We knew by the looks of it that this place will deliver. We ate here two days in the row and we will go back tomorrow. I will never eat lasagna as good as this one. Try the fruit cake if you get a chance, it was such a wonderful surprise!

I came here daily for cappuccinos. I tried the lasagna and it was soooo good. The portion was huge and the price was great. They were always super nice.

Excellent restaurant, one of the best I've eaten in the entire Puglia region, it's a fantastic experience and I recommend that you go and visit it.

Do not let the small street and entry fool you! This is an amazing restaurant offering Michelin worthy food and inside experience. See my pictures. It was our best meal of our 2 week vacation in Puglia. And, prices were very affordable. This restaurant alone is worthy of a visit to Locorotondo.

An elegant basement restaurant in Locorotondo a short walk from the central plaza and public parking garage. A long and excellent wine list from which we were recommended a lovely puglian red. Our zucchini flower starter was delightful and the grilled sausages and veal cutlets that followed equally good. Excellent service throughout and a reasonable bill.

This is a fancy place, they charge 3€ service. (A lot if you plan to have one meal only) The service was friendly, and the place is in an old school building. With white table clothes. The good was very good, not sure if it was worth 20€. (Hence 4 stars)

The food was good. The ambience was good too. However, we were disappointed by the service. We kindly asked staff to remove bacon from one of the dishes as we are pescatarians, but then they brought it with bacon — we accepted to eat it and just remove bacon ourselves as we do not like food to be wasted, but the staff hasn’t even apologized, instead, they said “just try a little bit with bacon, it is very good” 😁🤷‍♂️ After we finished our mains, we felt like they completely forgot about us.

Wow, great experience, the waiter was really good, the food was delicious - pie in Puglia, what a lovely change!! My son and I both enjoyed the slow cooked pork filling. We had pork belly too and my hubby enjoyed his pesto spaghetti. Refreshingly different and cooked really well, plus a really lovely setting sprawled out among the steps in front. Highly recommend!

Another local recommendation and thank you. Really well cooked and moist pork neck (tricky) with small baby roast potatoes. Ravioli with beef (inside) and truffle butter. Simple and well executed, personable service and relaxed location. Try it, well worth a visit!

Oh man, I so wanted to like this place! I had heard excellent things online, and it looked so nice! But alas, the reality fell far short of expectations... 🙁 The owner himself was quite friendly, but our waiter was at best curt, more accurately fairly rude. Our cutlery was thrown down on the table, and the dishes arrived either in silence or with a curt 'prego'. I was particularly excited about the truffle ravioli, but it turned out to be so salty as to be inedible. I have never sent a dish back half-eaten in my life (having been brought up with the 'starving children in other countries; be grateful for what you have' narrative drilled into me), but it was unavoidable in the case. Fair enough, it happens - but the response was lacklustre: a mumbled semi-apology and no attempt to make amends in any form. To top it all off, we sat waiting for ten minutes after finishing to finally receive the bill and then our change, while watching our waiter take the time to clear and re-set the adjoining table in the meantime. And no, it wasn't due to them being overwhelmed with other customers - there was all of one other table filled at the time. All in all, alas - much more is promised than delivered. The setting is nice, the fava beans were tasty, but on the whole I was disappointed.

Salad and Capocollo was excellent as well as the pasta dishes. For the pasta dishes the portion size could be bigger. Although we didn't mind, but why were all pasta plates missing a piece? The only downside for us was that they are charging 2€ for a refilled water bottle (hopefully it is properly cleaned before each refill). Something like this should be for free especially if the coperto is 2€ per person

Very good restaurant in the city center of Martina Franca. All the dishes we took were tasty and well presented. Staff was nice and polite. The outdoor location is really cute and perfect during summer nights. Prices are in the low to medium range. Recommended!

We were so happy to stumble upon this gem of a place when passing through. On a busy Sunday they made space for us amid crazy chaos levels of people. We had a beautiful setting outside and the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh and made with care. Must try! 5 stars!

Casa Pinto was recommended to us by our landlord who said it was the best pizza in Locorotondo. And I agree that it was excellent pizza, great flavour, and so many choices. (Note - the dining area is mostly in a very narrow lane with people almost brushing off your table as they walk past.) However the service was uncomfortably rushed. Everything made us feel like our table was needed immediately, even while we were still eating. They took our plates and brought the card machine witjout even being asked for the bill. And that spoiled a nice meal.

I read a fairly recent review by "Yolanda" saying this place gave 5-star gluten free food with amazing service and atmosphere. That is a total lie. I asked for gluten free options and they said "Salad?". Then offered sausage and potatoes. The sausage was horribly dry and overcooked. The salad was iceberg lettuce with pizza toppings. The potatoes were decent but drowned in olive oil. I appreciate them trying, though. My wife had a regular Quattro Stagione pizza which she said was decent. Service was brusque, almost to the point of rudeness. We arrived at the restaurant on a cold night wanting to sit inside and were brought to the back of the building to a covered rooftop patio with a few small heaters, where everyone was eating with their winter jackets on while the restaurant below was empty. A bit of a head scratcher. If you're gluten free (I'm Celiac), try your luck somewhere else, but if you can eat regular pizza, this place was turning tables away as they were so busy, so that must mean something!

What a gorgeous pizzaria! A little tricky to find along narrow winding lanes, but well worth it. Delicious pizzas prepared really quickly, friendly staff, and I loved the decor. We had Napoli and Diavolo - both fabulous!

If you want to eat pizza beside the tourist flow, visit Pizzeria Casa Pinto. Very delicious food, friendly and family owned. High recommendation!

Delicious pizza!! The salami picante is really good and you can tell all the ingredients are very fresh. We went on a Saturday night and had to wait for a table but it goes fast - max 30 min roughly at peak times. The tiramisu is just ok though.

This restaurant has shown an excellence in the choice of it's dishes, wines and service, which shines like a star rated restaurant. U'Curdunn is so far, the most exceptional taste I have tasted in Locorotondo and surroundings. If you reserve in time, and you get to sit on this wonderful terrace in the small streets of the old city centre of Locorotondo, you will be gifted with wonderful local plates, like the Pugliese primed anti-pasti, Parmiggiana, Fried Anti-Pasti, and much more. The noodles with truffle were extraordinary. The bone-less meat (Beef), served with a heated iron plancha, to cook your meat to your own preferred "cuisson", was extraordinary tender. 30€ for nearly 400 grams of top quality meat is to me personally, a bargain. Their wine-list is a master-selcted list of local wines. We had the Susimanello Morso Rosso, enriched of taste of blueberry and vanilla, which you would hardly find in any restaurant abroad. Let yourself lead by the service, who will tell you exactly what to choose in respect to your taste. Absolutely try the home made "Amaro Locale di Casa" to digest your meal. Coffee is great. Don't forget to reserve in advance, because you will not get a table as a passer-by. 6 people tried to ask for a table in the short minutes we were waiting for our reserved table at 21:30. Enjoy the show!

A good adres, the decor is really beautiful, the waiter spoke French. The food was really good! They just forgot the fries and the dishes don’t come at the same time but I think it’s just a cultural difference I recommend this place!

U Curdunn is known as the the local dialect for Locorotondo. This restaurant specializes in local cuisine. Don’t be fooled by the 200g notation on the menu, any of the antipasto is enough for two! Strongly recommend the “basket of fresh cheese” and the “Salumi,” we honestly could have stopped there! The staff were interactive and delightful. We arrived 15 minutes before they opened and witnessed them all having dinner together. A hopping place with a great vibe.

The restaurant is small and’s have tables on the street, where we had site. We started with the famous Parmeggiana, delicious but I missed the picture. Then we had a pasta with ragu and mix grill, all perfect. To finish e shared a tiramisu with an unforgivable flavor. Definitely, I recommend this place.

Cozy atmosphere, however, if you’re not an Italian, it’s probably best to go around this place. Extraordinary service to Italians, zero attention to us - tourists. Forgot to pour us wine that we ordered, had to remind the waitress, ended up being double charged for it. It’s good that we double checked the check. Pasta with courgette and shrimps - 5 small shrimps, runny sauce and overcooked courgette. Very disappointing. Spent 50€ and left unsatisfied, that’s not what you expect from a restaurant in Italy.

The vegetarian food was AWESOME! Highly recommend - the vegetable grilled to perfection and Lorenzo was the sweetest! He will cater whatever pasta you want for vegetarians.

Don’t think twice about eating at this restaurant. The ingredients are allowed to shine and the flavours are delicious.

The food tastes good. But your dish may lack the ingredients stated in the menu) the service is terrible. At first, we waited 20 minutes for the menu until we asked again. Then we waited for food. Then they waited for the bill. You can't go there hungry, otherwise you may faint while waiting) If you want to ask to bring something, you need to be ready to remind about it several times. By the way the prince is too high. In general, there are plenty of places around with food no worse, but with better service. I don’t advise visiting

We just ordered a pizza and a donkey pasta and it was very good! The waitress was very nice as well. I liked the bread which is served with warm. I can recommend this restaurant.

Nice atmosphere. Food was not what I expected, pasta (orecchiette) is way too “al dente”. On the other hand, Bombette were really tasty and drinks were fine. Waiters are kind but definitely they could be quicker or more attentive.

Lasagne was for babies, no taste no herbs. Small portions too. Overall, very disappointing. Not recommended at all. Very touristy, like a tourist trap. Do not fall for it. We had much much better in Locorotondo. So, look a bit further, the fish one next door for example 😉👀 Sorry, just honest opinion.

I’ve never had pancakes with eggs and bacon but it’s now my new favorite. My daughter loved the Nutella strawberry pancakes too. This was a great find!

We enjoyed it from the start to finish. Attentive service, and very tasty good and fresh food. We had the bombetta for starters (fantastic), the hamburger with Italian ingredients (missing the separate ham unfortunately which was served with all other guests) (waiter did not understand) and the vegetarian main dish. All in all good experience.

A great spot for lunch (they cook until 15:00). The menu is short but very interesting. Great food - our favorite was the seafood tortelloni. Also very nice bread. Service was okay, they speak english. Very good primitivo by glass. Nice outdoor seating, the inside is very stylish.

The most delightful kind of hospitality; gentle, friendly, and respectfully attentive. The coffees and dessert tasted awesome at the outdoor terrace looking over the outskirt downhills of the city.

Last minute arranged lunch and found a real gem! One of our favorite meals while in Puglia. Local wines. Open kitchen. Excellent options from the first bite through to the final sip of wine. Truffles. Rabbit. Iberico pork. Fish. Velvety pasta. Scampi.

A wonderful place with indoor and outdoor dining. The service was excellent, as was our food. The Cialledda salad doesn’t look like much in my photo, but they mix it up at the table, and it was simply delicious. All and all, a delightful evening of flavours.

Bel Sit is a beautiful location, looking over at a lovely height, with Martina Franco in the distance. Locorotondo offers some really nice restaurants but not too many with this view. The service and food was really good! We had the Pinsa Martina and Pinsa Arianna. Both Pinsa’s were absolutely delicious! If you’re in Locorotondo if you have lunch here you won’t be disappointed❣️

Excellent location but slow service and disappointing carbonara and pinse light. There was a long time between the plates being served. My wife was waiting for almost 10 minutes with her food until mine arrived. We saw this also happening at other tables around us. Both our dishes were a good portions but lacked taste.

Not many people but it still took 40 minutes for a simple pasta dish to come out. Ordered Orecchiette with Meatballs for €13 and it had 2 tiny meatballs. No apology for the wait. Pretty disappointing the only thing it has going for it is the view but would not recommend.

A great spot for a delicious meal in Locorotondo. Beautifully located on a hill just outside the old town walls, with a stunning view of the Itria Valley. The food was absolutely delicious — we tried appetizers including tuna tartare and small panini with stracciatella and prosciutto. Everything was incredibly flavorful. We also had orecchiette with fava beans and bacon — the best pasta we’ve had in Apulia. The service was excellent. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in Locorotondo.

This was the best place for a dinner in Locorotondo for me! The live music, the food, the vibe, the ambience, with the natural breeze was top notch! It was recommended by a local shopkeeper and I must say he was bang on about going here for a great time, great drinks and great food.

Very nice restaurant in Locorotondo with great atmosphere. We had tasty local apetizer. Their pomodoro orechiette with burata was delicious. It was not in the menu but we saw it in reviews and asked for it. We would definitely love to come back.

We had lunch; I chose the famed local tagliatta and having had this numerous times, I’ve lived in Florence where it is also a local dish, I had never been served a less desirable steak dish. I said I hadn’t seen such a dish, he very confidently said that it’s the way the local beef is. They love it and it’s the way they serve it here. The service wasn't great either, the waiter was bothered that we asked to split a 4 top to a two so we could sit in the front. The restaurant was nearly empty, and not busy through out time there, the service was slow, unattentive and unwelcoming.
