Ok so I’m quite forgiving most of the time but if something upsets me more than anything it’s the service. The food was good as long as you didn’t stray too far from pizza. Someone in our party always seems to be able to ask for something on the menu and ends up eating after everyone else.
Anyway I will start at the beginning with the smallest small beer I’ve ever had a 200ml glass with a line at the 200 marker where the froth of the beer was touching so a further 30-40ml below my drink actually started. This is now why I am writing this review because they starter so badly. Second mistake was asking if we had booked. I’ve never had to book a seaside restaurant in my life. It’s yes we can or no sorry we are too busy (not busy). The worst thing about the whole restaurant was the service we received and the lack of care to get things right. I won’t be booking anytime in the future.

My goodness what a delicious burger we had last night! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better one (and I live in London, so burgers are very much our go-to fast food!). We went quite late so the place was quiet. The food arrived quickly and the place felt clean. Only two points of criticism: a smile on some of the staff’s face would make the experience more enjoyable and considering the cost of burgers, coming with side chips or fries by default would be a nice touch that aligns them to the standards of some of the best burger restaurants I’ve been to. That sad, it’s GOOD and I will be coming back in a heartbeat, smiles or no smiles, chips or no chips. (And I’ll try those gorgeous Virgola profiteroles that I wish I’d seen when I walked in!).
Horrible service, the waitress questioned our meal choices ("just one?") and did not listen to our requests. Over one hour waiting time for the food. Average food. Stay away.

The pizza is pretty darn good, but the stars are the non-pizza. The fried fig appetiser, with cheese, ham, almond and mint all came together in a symphony of fireworks in your mouth. Tuna steak was perfectly salted. My kid wants the burger all for himself. The squid ink tagliolino has bursts of yuzu flavour.

The best we had during our Puglia trip. Unbeatable price. Pizza's were yumm. Egg 62 was unexpectedly good! We went as a group of 10 including kids for dinner and reached there around 08:45 pm. Without reservation, we were able to get the tables as it was not much occupied. But soon in 30-40 mins after our arrival, the place was full! It shows how popular this place is. Will revisit when we are here again.
