Chocolate cafe
Vikasa Life Cafe is a health food cafe located in Samui, co-founded by two European raw food chefs and Kosta Miachin, the yogi master behind Vikasa yoga hotel. The menu goes beyond raw and vegan dishes, incorporating local island produce and tropical fruits. The cafe also plans to cultivate its own organic garden. With offerings like raw zucchini spaghetti, quinoa cakes, and superfood bowls, visitors can enjoy wholesome meals with stunning views over the island.
Vikasa Life Cafe offers a harmonious blend of health-conscious cuisine and breathtaking scenery. On a cliff , the cafe provides panoramic views of Ocean, creating a serene backdrop for a truly rejuvenating dining experience. I dined for 5 weeks during my 300YTT retreat. The cafe’s design emphasizes openness and tranquility, featuring a huge terrace that invites diners to relax and soak in the natural beauty. The gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of waves enhance the peaceful atmosphere, especially when it starts raining suddenly and heavily 🌧️⛈️ Life Cafe prides diverse dietary preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian options. Signature dishes like the vibrant salads, nutrient-packed smoothie bowls, cafe’s commitment to combining health with flavor. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, ensuring both quality and sustainability. Unfortunately I can’t digest beans, so most of the main courses are not good for me. The salads and soups are amazing though😋😋 The staff provide warm and attentive service, contributing to the overall welcoming environment. They are willing to accommodate special requests on the meal size and content. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an opportunity to nourish both body and soul combined with welcoming staff and extraordinary views of where the mountains meats the ocean digest beans so many main courses are not good for me, but the salads and soup are always delicious. Brunch is also extraordinary and I enjoy it !

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere in there is really, really nice and relaxing, also a good place for co-working. And it has the magnificent views. The food is really nice, same with the deserts, mast of them are vegan friendly. Really well done, keep going!
Sava — Google review
A very lovely place with a beautiful sea view 🌊 Fresh and delicious food, generous portions, and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the staff are attentive. A perfect spot for breakfast or lunch with a view. Highly recommend the tahini cardamom mocha with almond milk ☕️

Amazing place with a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan food options. Plenty of customization choices based on dietary needs and sensitivities. The venue has three main seating areas, one of which features cozy bean bags for relaxation. It's a great spot for digital nomads looking to work in a comfortable environment, but also perfect for couples and families. The service is friendly and welcoming, with an excellent staff. Plus, the restaurant offers a stunning view of the breakwater and cliffs, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Everything was fine except the people present. There was no diversity. Everyone dressed in short leggings with the same haircuts. They all looked like this:🙅‍♀️ it was very creepy. The place itself had a lot of potential with splendid views. The food could be tastier, but I think it's always a problem with these "healthy ultra max brunches." Just add some salt and pepper. It's worth it for the views!
Tomas R — Google review
This place has the best salads, best seafood—honestly, the best of everything. A must-visit! You can try their brunch buffet from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, or go for dinner before sunset 6 - 7PM. It’s totally worth it if you’re trying to eat healthy but still want incredibly tasty food. You can actually taste the fruits and vegetables. Highly recommend the pomelo salad with sea bass. Any coffee there is great especially with coconut milk, or a mix of oat and coconut.

One of the best vegan food in Samui! Delicious and beautiful present. The view is mind blowing. Staff are very kind and well rounded. Highly recommend and definitely go back 🫶

Located in the southern part of Koh Samui, Sweet Sisters Cafe Organic offers a bright and inviting atmosphere where visitors can enjoy delicious organic food and excellent service. The cafe is known for its tasty offerings such as fried rice with prawns, green curry with chicken, fresh coconut, avocado banana honey smoothie, coconut cake, and spicy coffee. The quick and friendly service adds to the overall pleasant experience.
We visited this place many times and it’s always a highlight on Ko Samui. They offer a great variety of healthy and plant-based dishes, all fresh and full of flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed – perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty, wholesome food on the island.

Lovely little place with many delicious and very fresh choices. It is very vegetarian and vegan friendly, but also with something for omnivores. The puddings/desserts are so yummy. The chocolate tart and banoffee pie are our favourites. Quite reasonably priced for this type of restaurant. Lovely courtyard outside (mosquito spray useful) and delightful inside with a small shop selling locally produced items (scarves, handbags, candles, ornamental items)...., many which would make great gifts.

Nice, cozy establishment. Great to relax over a coffee and lunch. A great browse in their dedicated boutique showcasing organic products and a range of home decors. Staff is welcoming, calm and attentive.

Sweet Sisters Café is a beautiful whole-food café and boutique gift shop on the quieter southern side of Koh Samui. The space radiates warmth, with a menu that celebrates clean, conscious eating and local sustainability. Chef Noiy’s dishes are free from MSG, white sugar, and factory-farmed ingredients — many herbs and veggies come straight from her own organic plantation. We had the tofu green curry with purple rice — subtle and comforting — and a creamy banoffee pie that was just sweet enough. A lovely spot to support local, eat mindfully, and relax. @LiveLifeWellwithMichelle @LaPetiteFauxmagerie

Oh my god! Such a lovely place! We went there for a brunch with a family. The atmosphere is just amazing 🤩 they have such special vibe! 3in 1 Green private yard, health shop, local pottery and clothes shop, and the restaurant. And the food is fresh and delicious, full of colourful spices. A mixture of India and Thailand. We loved it! Especially the cakes :)) Definitely worth the ride!

We loved their coconut icecream!! As a coconut icecream lover, we must say it was one of the best coconut icecream we had in Koh Samui :) Staffs were friendly, there are free parking spaces and the place is very cozy. We can recommend to stop by if you will be around the area. We visited the cafe after the Pig-Island hopping.

An absolute gem…. Super clean food, quality produce and packed with great flavours. Off the beaten track but well worth the trip…. There is a gift shop with lots of Nik Naks and gift ideas to take home plus quality goods to nibble on… a Must. Back for MORE 10/2025

La Fabrique French Bakery Lamai is a charming bakery located in Maret, Ko Samui District, Surat Thani. It offers a delightful selection of pastries, cakes, croissants, and coffee. Visitors can savor delicious vegetarian paninis with pesto mozzarella and tomato or indulge in spinach crepes. The bakery also provides pizza and vegetarian quiche for dinner takeaways at reasonable prices.
Good pastries and coffee. It's my go to breakfast spot. There's plenty of seating with a very chill atmosphere.

Good French-style coffee on Samui. The prices are fair compared to other cafés. You can also get larger portions on request outside the menu, which are cheap but still good quality. The menu is a bit confusing until you understand it but it's not a problem. The location on the street is noisy but fine for a quick breakfast. I come back because of the prices and the delicious food. The bread is homemade and delicious
Simon — Google review
Had a couple of the baguettes from their menu, pretty tasty! The coffee was also nice. Highlight would be the pastries, pain au chocolate and chocolate twist were superb. Staff were friendly, restaurant was nice enough, it is on the main road and completely open so it was a bit smoggy from the fumes from the road which was a bit of a downside. Would recommend a visit though.

Wow 🤩 we live in Thailand 🇹🇭 more than 3 years and this is for sure the best bakery we have been to. Wow 🤩 again. Vegetarian panini with pesto mozzarella and tomato was perfection - toasted golden brown the cheese just started to melt but not overcooked. The bread was toasted but still soft and not a hard shell which cuts you gums. Heaven. Caesar salad available for 🌱 vegetarian and also super yummy. So was the spinach crepe. We took some pizza and vegetarian quiche as dinner and both was equally good. Staff was also super friendly. Highly recommended wish we had La Fabrique next to us in Bangkok 😍👍🏻😍🙏🏻🇹🇭❤️❤️ (or better not … would be there every day 😅😂❤️)

The quality of the product is very good, the service not good. The Burma lady that make the Coffee is not in good mood, they aren’t nice and smiles like the Thai girls. The coffee is not good for my taste. They don’t have Matcha or Chakio, they don’t have plant based milk. For that I don’t put a 5 stars and for the service, the place is not very nice also, but the bakery, breads are very good , really French quality 😄😁🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Fantastic French bakery. We eat here at least once or twice a week. They have a great breakfast at special for 100 Baht, you get a hot drink, croissant or chocolate croissant or bread, butter and jam plus an Orange Juice.

The Thai Tapas is a charming restaurant located near the entrance of Fishermans Village. It offers an array of small, elegant Thai dishes with a unique twist. The interior design and food presentation are vibrant and colorful, reflecting the creativity in their dishes. The menu features a variety of curries, including green curry mussels and sea bass, all cooked to perfection with rich flavors but not overwhelming heaviness. Guests can also enjoy visually appealing molecular-inspired concepts such as edible soil with duck leg.
Very tasty and unique food. One of the best meals we had in Thailand. Nice variety of unique and dishes, including a significant amount of vegetarian and vegan ones. Great atmosphere. Fair prides. Highly recommended!

What an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we sat down, April, our server, set the tone with her kindness, humor, and genuine hospitality. We enjoyed Thai tapas that were not only creative but bursting with flavor. The setting was just as impressive—seamlessly blending indoors and outdoors with a beautiful, cool ambiance. The drinks were the perfect touch to round out the evening. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it’s an experience worth savoring. She recommended some many tasty dishes it was hard to choice. The Thai tacos are a must!!

We had the most enjoyable and unique experience at this beautiful restaurant. Every box was ticked to perfection. Honestly, the service and the food was simply perfect. I can not understate how delicious the food was and this was made even more special by April’s simply fantastic service. She made us feel very, very special and is a huge credit to the restaurant. 🤩

I really don't know how to start the review, but I'll start it by giving them 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So I'll start with the fact that the flavors of the art go beyond all limits. Crazy flavors. Exciting flavors. Really special flavors. There's not much to add about the taste. Just taste it. The service is exceptional. Amazing service. Reliable service. They don't let you order unnecessary things. The products really suit you. The colors and quantity are all really delicious and special. Come and eat three Michelin stars. 🌟🌟🌟

What an incredible place! The food was a feast for the eyes and pallet. We tried 4 dishes between two (as recommended as the portions are generous) and each was bursting with flavour as well as visually stunning. The customer service was spot on - personable, made you feel special, but without being overbearing. Our server, April, also captured some lovely photo’s and of us from the outside seating area. A very memorable meal and one of our best during our stay in Koh Samui. Highly recommend!

Just wow….one of the top three dinners we had during our vacation in Thailand. Everything was so well thought through and presented in an extra ordinary way that it leaves you stunned! Brilliant taste and lovely staff - combined into a „want to have that again“ experience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Had the most wonderful time here! The food is incredible, the service and the attention to detail are so so good! They were also super accommodating and made small changes to fit my pescatarian diet. We had the fish tacos, sea bass, mango salad and the curry! The flavours were so great, authentic but also with a twist. Will definitely be coming back, the best food and restaurant experience we’ve had in Thailand so far and we’ve been spoilt with amazing food! Definitely recommend!

Cafe
Lolamui Café is a charming spot located in an expansive garden, featuring quaint wooden houses and an old train car for a cozy atmosphere. The main draw here is the variety of freshly baked treats made by the owner and chef, Khun Pun. The cafe is known for its Coconut Cake, but it tends to sell out quickly. Visitors recommend arriving early to secure a slice. Other popular options include the Flourless Chocolate Cake, which has a light texture and just the right amount of sweetness.
We ordered a few pieces of cake at this place, and every single one was truly delicious! If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy exceptional and fresh made desserts, this is a must-visit. The service was attentive, and the facilities are charming, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery that adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended.

This is my first cafe in Thailand Koh Samui The coconut cake is wonderful!!! A must try here!!! The air conditioner is working very well, u might feel cold when u come in but after a while u'll just feel cool, dry and comfy. I tried taro coconut cake bc they ran out of normal coconut cake today. Bueno!!! The Raspberry cappuccino is sweet. Be careful if u r not a fan of sweet coffee. Although I'm not into sweet coffee, the cappuccino was still nice. Why isn't anyone here??? (Friday) This can be my work cafe so nice♥️ They also have Japanese seat which you can lay on the floor. Great choice for tourist👍 I won't say it's cheap. 85 THB for taro coconut cake 80 THB for Raspberry cappuccino But affordable. Slightly cheaper than Japan(?)

The atmosphere of the place is fantastic, the tables are located in a very nice way. You can seat inside our outside. There is a lot of amazing scenery here as well. The food is good, but the selection of food is not that big, but the quality of it is fantastic. I recommend this place! visited on 4.08.24

there is parking, you place an order and pay at the cash register, and then choose a place, there are places near the cash register, as well as in a separate house or on a cute little terrace. Inside the cafe there is a lot of visual space and very cozy. we ordered a drink and desserts. the desserts were light and tasty, without the bad butter flavor that most Thai bakeries use. strawberry earl gray cake - conveyed the bright taste of tea. the coffee was delicious.

Tried out this place which is fave for many in Samui. The place is in a house and very cosy with plenty seating indoor & outdoor. They’re known for the Coconut Cake but need to come early for it, otherwise it will be sold out like what I experienced. So instead, tried the Flourless Chocolate Cake. The cake has a very light texture, not too sweet but with a nice chocolate taste. Also it is topped with a light chocolate frosting. Also got a pot of hot tea, which was a generous serving.
Maharani — Google review
Extremely cozy and cute place with tasty desserts and nice coffee. I tried banoffee pie, coconut and chocolate cake with white cream. banoffee pie was just awesome, other were also fine. The prices are also quite cheap. The place itself is very wonderful. The only problem is WiFi which is slow, but at least there were sockets that is kinda rare 😄 so if you want to work there, prepare your own wifi
М М — Google review
Single modestly. The property is on the hilltop. I love how it set up like a French bistro. Service should be improved. Cakes, cheese cake, black cake and banoffee are eatable. For examples,Icing on the cake should be buttercream. And dulce de leche should be thickened and caramelizes. Cheese cake should taste like cream cheese( sweet and tangy). Well, price of something usually equals its quality.
Mac V — Google review
Cute little cafe just off the main road with another house for indoor seating with air conditioning. I went as soon as they opened to make sure I could try the coconut cake as I'd heard it sells out later on. The sponge itself was absolutely fantastic, suuuuper light and fluffy and the frosting was lovely and smooth too. I wasn't a huge fan of the big strips of coconut in the middle of the cake as they were a bit slimy. I also had a Thai iced tea which was quite bitter so I was thankful for the sugar provided on the tables. The indoor seating area is really nice with a choice of tables of floor cushions. I noticed they had choices of non-dairy milks as well which is handy for vegan/dairy free people.

La Fabrique French Bakery Chaweng is a popular spot for breakfast, known for its pet-friendly outdoor seating and diverse menu featuring bacon and eggs, croissants, and crepes. The bakery has gained a strong reputation for its outstanding cuisine on Ko Samui. Visitors rave about the delectable pastries like chocolate tarts and cakes that offer a perfect balance of flavors. Guests can enjoy a unique and delicious European-style breakfast while taking in the lively street scene with attentive service.
Very well established, (survived covid intact!) consistent food & great value. Recommended for breakfast & lunch

I’ve tried western breakfasts at various local restaurants in Samui, but I was often disappointed—thin bread, sausages that tasted like Spam, and so on. After several failed attempts, I stopped ordering western breakfasts at local spots. However, breakfast at La Fabrique is a different story. The breakfast menu is quite detailed, with items named after different areas of Samui. 👍I ordered the “27. Nathon,” and overall, the portions were generous and the quality was great. 🧈The butter and jam were exceptional—I couldn’t believe I was having such good butter in Samui! You can choose from three types of bread, and I went with the bio brown bread, which is a healthy carb option. The only downside was that the tomatoes were barely cooked, almost raw. ☕️Since this isn’t a cafe with a professional barista, I didn’t expect much from the coffee, but the Americano was surprisingly good—rich, bold, and not bitter. Although it wasn’t a problem for me, the space is connected to the outdoors without air conditioning, so it might be uncomfortable for those sensitive to heat. 🅿️It’s located by a main road, so there’s some noise from passing cars, and parking a car can be tricky, though parking a motorbike is no issue. The restroom was clean, and I definitely plan to visit again for a quality meal.

La Fabrique French Bakery in Chaweng is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic French pastries and fresh bread in Koh Samui. The croissants are flaky and buttery, just as they should be, and the pain au chocolat is rich and satisfying. The bakery also offers a great selection of baguettes, sandwiches, and tarts, making it an excellent choice for breakfast or a light lunch.

Today I ordered a great or what I thought to be sandwich. I thought I was getting nice Mozzarella and Parma sandwich. Clearly the description didn't match the sandwich. What I got was one slice of Parma, home made pesto 4 tomato slices, and 2 slices of the worst processed pieces of what they called Mozzarella. I've never been so disappointed in a sandwich before. I know that they can do better. I've been coming here for years. They just had massive meeting with all in charge last month. You would think that they would try to do better..

This place clearly have a staff problem! 2 staff taking care of 36 seats... it's not working! The bakery part of this place has a beautiful selection of quality products and stop by and pick up a few goodies is ideal at this place. Sit here and have something to eat at busy hours you need to make sure you not in a rush! Place looks good with a warm and inviting interior. Prices are fare. The blueberry milkshake was a disappointment, big chunks of ice and far from a flavour explosion. Still I will recommend this place, just because there great selection of sweets, bread and goodies.

Relatively smaller than the one in Lamai. Only a few items were available. The staff was friendly but we came for bakery items. Bought a croissant to try. It was soft as bread although the taste was ok. Disappointed.

SEEN Beach Club Samui is a trendy and modern party club located on Chaweng Beach. It's known for its live DJ sets, fire shows, and vibrant neon lights around the infinity pool. On Saturdays, the club hosts Koh Samui's biggest pool party with a variety of food and drinks. The venue spans over 3,500 square meters and offers a retro-inspired upscale atmosphere with private cabanas by the pool.
Seen Beach Club is a fantastic holiday destination! The atmosphere is vibrant and perfect for relaxing. Pricing is reasonable, and the food is outstanding—delicious seafood and creative vegetarian dishes that are beautifully presented. The cocktails are a highlight, with both classic and unique options that really impress. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for great food, refreshing drinks, and stunning beach views. Highly recommend!

Overrated. Beautiful scenery with a nice pool and a beautiful beach. I personally enjoyed the music although it did not succeed to make people move. However prices are excessive and yield to the worst value experienced at Samui so far. At that level of prices, there are better options. Food is average with overcooked beef sliders. My partner received her salad 10’ after my sliders. Cocktails did not reflect the right recipes. Listed premium beers were not available. Listed wines have average ratings. Net, if you need a great selfie and have money to spend, go for it. Otherwise, there are better options.

Minimum spend 5000 baht for a tier 2, 4 pax sunbed, which more comfortably lies 3 adults. Prices on the menu are subject to 10% + 7% tax, so you’ll be able to hit past 5k easily with 4.2k. Honestly The Deck Beach Club at Fishermans was much better with better music and more reasonable spend (1-1.5k per head) plus great food. Staff service here was excellent, very attentive and easy to call for orders. Food was okay, but overpriced for the quality. Signature Cocktails were disappointing, small amount and not even aesthetic to say the least. (For truly good cocktails go to Garnish.Samui, top innovative bar in Samui). Plastic cups which allows u to bring into the pool. Strict no outside food&drinks policy, gentle reminder by staff that if you drink your own mineral water/water bottle, have to keep it back into your bag. Pool with bar was very crowded, the infinity pool on the right side was much more peaceful. BEST part was the aircon-ed toilets. But note shower area is an outdoor mixed gender shower area in the public with no shower amenities/body soap etc, kinda weird.

Amazing place, would recommend to anyone visiting Samui. Swimming pools are great and the beach is stunning. Service is excellent, Jude and Bat were very helpful. Food is very good, pizza is great! Just wish Aperol Spritz was a bit bigger in size 😋 It was our third time at Seen and definitely not the last!!! Best beach club on the island!

The food is very low quality. The dishesare far from what you expect to get. I ordered a wagyu dish and got a chicken- flavored meatball. Served with cold french fries

Absolutely loved it here. The food is amazing, there’s a live dj, the ambience is lovely and the service is perfect. They really make you feel as the most important thing. Jude en Notd were so great and catered to our every need, so thank you. Will definitely visit this place again! <3

Very nice beach club with amazing staff that will take great care of you! Very nice vibe for relaxing and drinking. They got sunbeds for 2, 4-6 or one for an affordable price. Definitely coming back here next time. Nuning was our server for today and did an amazing job at making us feel welcome and definitely boosts the vibe here! Remember, the deposit for a sunbed is a credit that you may spend here! Recommend coming here for vibes, fun and alooot of drinking! 🤪
Kaja R — Google review
Arrived today with my partner, and I cannot recall ever being made to feel so unwelcome. The staff treated us as though we were beneath the standard, as if affordability were in question—while, in truth, I could likely purchase the very fields their families toil upon. The experience was not merely disappointing; it was insulting. Disrespect of this caliber reflects directly on those you choose to represent your establishment. A boomerang always returns, and the consequences of such disregard will not delay. For contrast, the photo shows me moments later, enjoying the warmth, grace, and effortless hospitality at the neighboring beach club—where good energy is a given, not a request.

Nestled along the stunning Choengmon Beach, SALA Samui Choengmon Beach Resort offers a luxurious escape with its elegant villas, many featuring private pools for an intimate experience. Guests can indulge in delectable dining options at on-site restaurants and unwind at the serene spa. With direct beach access, this chic resort is perfect for those seeking relaxation and adventure alike. Whether you're lounging by your pool or exploring the beautiful surroundings, SALA Samui promises a memorable getaway filled with comfort and style.
We had a wonderful week stay at SALA Samui Choengmon. Part of the package included a 90min couples massage and it was probably one of the best I've had. Both masseuse were really experienced and understood to massage where the body needed it. The accommodation and the grounds itself is pristine. Comfortable and clean throughout. Service at most of these resorts is almost always exceptional but I would have say to difference with SALA Samui Choengmon, is the service is authentic and genuine. A big shout out to Mam who took note that my partner was feeling unwell and turned up the next morning with some Thai remedies. Food and drink is also exceptional. We had breakfast daily and even after a weeks stay, there was still so many different options. My only feedback would be to make the Thai dishes more authentic. I feel like most travelers now desire local food as it should be.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here. The rooms (we had our own pools) are beautiful and spacious with an 'outdoor' bathroom. The location is excellent for the beach which is on the doorstep. The area itself is quiet and laid back compared to other areas of the island but that suited us perfectly. Breakfast was delicious. There was a lovely buffet and a selection of Thai and Western food cooked to order. Their English breakfast (pictured) is a work of art! The best thing about SALA is the customer service. From the moment we arrived I was blown away with the care and attention from all the staff here coupled with genuine warmth. Every single member of the team here was outstanding during our stay. I would like to thank them all but particularly Mr Wee for making our last day so comfortable. Special thanks also to the room service team for the lovely flowers and decorations for our wedding anniversary.

Great staff who go the extra mile to build a rapport with their clients. Good location at the quieter end of the beach. Lovely adult only long pool for swimming. The kids also have a nice pool. Restaurant serves really good food. A great stay and will be returning even though we have already stayed many times as it remains one of our favourite beach resorts in Thailand.
Theresa D — Google review
Sala Samui Choengmon is a lovely resort. The villa I stayed in was very peaceful and although I understand that this is '"old" Thai style, I did feel that the furniture and fittings were somewhat outdated and if you are travelling around and not wanting or able to hang up clothes, there is hardly any room for a large suitcase to be kept open on the floor. An outside bathroom takes a little getting used to and I would have felt very guilty taking a bath in the huge bath tub knowing that the hotel is otherwise encouraging water saving measures for towels, bed linen etc. The staff are all very friendly and do all they can to make hotel guests have an enjoyable stay. I had caught a bad cold during my vacation and would like to commend that I was offered fresh ginger to make tea to help ease my cough. Thank you for that.
Clare S — Google review
Wow, ww love this hotel! Maybe it’s not just because of the beautiful, calm beach it’s located on, or even the rooms themselves — but mainly because of the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived until the very end, they went above and beyond to make us feel like truly special guests. Endless treats and small surprises — when we arrived, in the room, and even as we checked out. Breakfast is served at the gorgeous restaurant by the pool overlooking the sea — and again, the staff there are just wonderful. They make sure you have everything you need at all times, and the à la carte dishes are both delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was spacious, with an outdoor shower. One evening, after the rain, a little frog showed up near us — it might bother some people, but our kids were thrilled! Just keep in mind that these are ground-floor rooms, so that’s part of the experience. some mosquitoes in the evening, but the hotel is aware of it and lights incense to keep them away — honestly, it didn’t really bother us. It has two pools, one for families and one for 18+ Gym is little small and needs some updates but equipment is enough. In short — the hotel, the location, and especially the staff — all together made it one big WOW. We truly had an amazing time
Dror G — Google review
Great hotel overall! The room looks really nice and comfortable, but just note there are quite a lot of mosquitoes, and the bathroom and shower are located outside in the yard. The hotel itself could use a bit of renovation, but the breakfast was excellent and the service was truly great — the staff are so kind and helpful. We initially confused this place with another “Sela” hotel — there are a few with the same name in Koh Samui, including one in Chaweng and another one closer to the center. This one is a bit more remote, so make sure you’re booking the right one.
Rotem D — Google review
We had a beautiful stay at Sala Choengmon. The staff thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and were very accommodating and helpful with all of our questions. Rooms were clean and beautiful, with fans, air conditioning and ample storage. There were two different pools to choose from as well as local beach access. The food was amazing - in particular we loved the Thai night that the hotel put on. We highly recommend taking advantage of the happy hour poolside massages and indulging in a full spa treatment - that was the highlight of this relaxing portion of our trip!
Gillian K — Google review
Everything about our stay was perfect…the location is quiet and serene but close enough to visit other parts of the island. By far the most outstanding part of our stay was the staff who work here…every one from the person who checked us in, prepared or served food and drinks, cleaned our room, took care of the garden was beautifully warm and friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay incredibly special. We’ll absolutely be back

"My Cafe & Restaurant" is a charming spot located near the Bophut Traffic Lights, offering a serene setting overlooking a small lake. Guests can choose to relax in the open-air house or the newly air-conditioned building. The cafe is known for its stunning and delicious fruit shakes. This favorite address in Bophut provides both Thai and international cuisine in a warm and Zen atmosphere, with standout dishes like massaman curry, burgers, and salads.
We’ve visited My Cafe twice and both times were superb! First off, the desserts are 10/10! If you’re coming here, please try one of the cakes from the cabinet! They are freshly made in-house and are amazing. Our favourite is the key lime pie! The staff are very friendly and polite. The serving sizes are very large and great value for money for the island. One of the top cafes on Koh Samui for sure!

We visited My Cafe and Restaurant in Koh Samui and were absolutely delighted! The food was simply delicious – freshly prepared, full of flavor, and made with great attention to detail. The service was outstanding as well: very attentive, friendly, and welcoming without ever being intrusive. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it! The relaxed atmosphere combined with excellent cuisine makes it one of our highlights here in Koh Samui. We are certain that we’ll come back again before we leave. Highly recommended!

One of the best Penang curry I’ve every had. Their cashew chicken is to die for. Their smoothies are delicious. Literally everything I ate was soooo good. Very friendly and efficient service. Beautiful view of the lake.

Loved this place! The menu had some interesting Thai options beyond the usual fare, including fried som tam and royal chilli pork, both of which were delicious! The smoothies were huge and the staff were so kind and attentive. The venue is also lovely, set on a small lake with lily pads, but within walking distance of the main road. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Absolutely loved this place! PlunkTone, located by the beautiful Chaweng Lake in Koh Samui, is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful meal with a view. But the highlight for me was the borscht — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers healthy food. There is a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, although the choice of meat and fish options is somewhat limited. The food tastes great, and the service is excellent. The view of the lake really adds to the overall experience.

Comfortable and cozy, a place one can definitely count on with the homely decor and ambiance. Me and companion came here for lunch and the foods and coffee were generally good. Quite enjoyed my plate of shrimp toast, but if I did seem to taste a deal of margarine on there- not sure if its just me, but overall the dish was well executed with the cooking. Companion enjoyed his bowl of pork rice. Staff welcoming and willing to accommodate but could use improvement with basic English communication. Good place for work and chill out. The spacious eatery also boast quite another spacious outdoor dining area, overlooking the Pru Chaweng reservoir.

A nice air conditioned cafe. We ordered flat white, ice soy latte and carrot cake. All tastes good. Price reasonable. Nice lake view outside. Restroom is also outside. To get to the lady’s room you have to walk through men’s room which is a little weird. A nice place to take a break.

Café K.O.B Bophut, established in 2017, has quickly become a beloved bakery and café in the area. Known for its delectable chocolate croissants and an extensive breakfast and lunch menu featuring both Western and Thai cuisine, it has garnered a loyal following. Visitors particularly rave about the tuna melt sandwich.
This charming alternative café is only a short 10-minute walk from Fisherman’s Village and definitely worth the visit! They offer a wonderful selection of both traditional Thai and Western dishes, catering to all tastes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service made it a highlight of our stay in Ko Samui. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Nice place with amazing bread (first of all). Great Turkish eggs with Greek yogurt and toasted sourdough bread - totally not sweet, that is very important for me. My friend was excited about Club sandwich - half is enough for one lady or a kid, so good to share. Or take away as an alternative option. Staff is polite and very friendly. Good music and space as well. Free parking for the guests ☝🏾

Nice place to have a coffee. Coffee had a nice complexity and strength. The cafe has an industrial feel and is eclectically decorated. The air conditioning is appreciated and a good respite from the heat. Service is fine, but perhaps a little preoccupied with chatting with friends as opposed to getting orders (which was our experience when we went there)

A great place for a breakfast. The coffee is excellent! I didn't really like the lentil soup here, as the Thai spices didn't seem to go well with it. But the salmon Benedict was very good.

I came here multiple times whilst in Koh Samui, love the atmosphere of this place, you can also buy things like preserves and bread to take home with you from their shop. Food was great, I think my favourite was the club sandwich as the bacon had an amazing chargrilled flavour to it. Coffee and London Fog were great, I would avoid the dirty Chai latte though as that wasn’t so good

I would’ve gived 5 stars to service it is a 9.9/10 coffee shop the only thing is that after 5 times of coming back to back leaving tips and ordering a lot, when I spilled my coffee on me you didn’t offer to remake one or anything which could’ve been a great customer service act but other than that the food is INCREDIBLE simple yet delicious and I tried half the menu no joke I loved everything my fav are the salmon sandwiche and the coffee cube latte!!

The staff are friendly and attentive, and service is usually quick even when it gets busy. Parking can be a bit limited if you’re coming by car, but motorbikes are no problem. Overall, one of the best spots in Koh Samui to start the day or spend a lazy afternoon. Highly recommended!

La Fabrique French Bakery Bangrak is a charming bakery in Maret, Ko Samui District, Surat Thani. It's a perfect spot for pastry lovers looking for a delightful cup of coffee and delectable cakes or croissants. Visitors have raved about the freshly baked croissants and the exceptionally tasty French toast with a unique watermelon combination.
The meals were absolutely delightful, so much so that I couldn't resist coming back two days in a row! The freshly baked croissant was incredibly crisp, aromatic, and not at all greasy. The French toast was also exceptionally tasty. I was intrigued by the unique combination with watermelon, which I had never seen before, but surprisingly, the sweet watermelon paired perfectly with the dish. It's definitely worth making a special trip to indulge in their breakfast offerings! If you're in search of a special breakfast experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. Alina S — Google review
I give 5/5 for the bread and to support the business. I dont want to write a negative review. Please take this comment into consideration seriously because you have a lot of room for improvement. Your shop need a little bit more TLC. Maybe some plants on the table? Clean the bathroom nicely? Do not put personal/staff belongings on the table near guest area. Your staff definitely need a detailed training. I ordered omelette with bacon, mushroom, spinach and cheese. It came with bacon, cheese, onion, sausages which I did not order, NO mushroom. And very salty. Like really salty. I did not touch it. Not eatable. I had the baguette and jam instead. I read reviews about staff attitude online and it is true. Your staff definitely need to look in the mirror and practice if they want to continue to work in hospitality industry. I felt so annoyed dealing with them to be honest with you. I do not see my future return to your shop. I wish you all the success with your business. I will not spread the bad about the shop with my friends around the island but it would be a hesitation to share about my experience if anyone asked. High potential but sadly managed.
Tee K — Google review
Despite tasty food and really great coffee, the consistent sour faces and lack of warmth from the staff at the Bangrak cafe is a huge turn off. Have been going here for a number of months now thinking that maybe the staff were just having a few bad days and made the effort to smile every time, but today I was again greeted by a no-smile sour stare and just not worth my energy. The staff evidently dislike working there and I won't be back. If the staff DO like working there then smiles really do go a long way to making your paying customers feel welcome!! *Also the response from management for all the bad reviews over past year for the Bangrak cafe are copy and paste identical which doesn't give me much hope that management are doing anything about the issues like finding out why their staff are so unhappy and helping them to feel more valued.

I buy sandwiches regularly, almost every other day. But the staff who made my sandwich today dropped the salt shaker in my sandwich? Too salty. If your staff sees a mistake, they should have started making the sandwich again and not given me a sandwich with a super salty preparation; they know what they put in it. So, I won't be coming back and I won't be able to stand your shops anymore ;)

Mr Coffee Bean in Chaweng is a popular spot for breakfast, known for its friendly staff and fresh, delicious dishes. The family-run business offers a diverse menu with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the complimentary fruits and candies provided with their meals, as well as the attentive service. With options ranging from curry to salads to pizzas, this establishment comes highly recommended for its tasty food at reasonable prices.
We tried to find this place on grab, but wasn't able to. Ended up in Central and walked to this cafe. A very nice and cozy cafe and the service staff were all very welcoming. The lady even helped to fan the flies while we were eating. Free flow water was also served promptly. It was so good that we went back again the next day for breakfast again. The lady told us that they would be moving to another location near the current, which would have air-conditioning. Hope the new place would still be as cozy. The french toast was so good my daughter ordered it again when we went back. She got to decorate it with chocolate syrup and honey herself. The drinks were also very nice. Ham and cheese toast looked plain, but was actually very delicious. Same, my son ordered that again when we went back. They also served free fruits at the end of the meal. 2nd time, I ordered Pad Thai, was a bit too sweet for my liking though.

By far the best meal we had in Koh Samui. The staff are some of the friendliest people in Thailand. Free water, water melon and sweets after dinner. Food all amazing and really reasonably priced. We came here 5 times in 5 days. Doesn’t get better

Unfortunately we found this place on our second last day. We had Thai food yellow and a green curry for breakfast and it was very fragrant and tasty. I wish I had more time to go back and try the western breakfast options which were plentiful and expansive. We’ve had breakfast here twice during our stay in Koh Samui, and each time was an absolute delight. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, everything from is top-notch. But what truly sets Mr Coffee Bean apart is the exceptional hospitality. The staff go above and beyond in the most thoughtful ways: placing a cushion on your scooter seat so it doesn’t overheat in the sun, bringing your helmet inside and helping wipe it down after a surprise rain shower. These small gestures made us feel genuinely cared for and welcome. It’s clear why this place has such stellar reviews. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service attentive, and the prices very reasonable. If you're in Chaweng and looking for a breakfast spot that feels like a warm hug....this is it.

Resort hotel
Nestled in the serene surroundings of Koh Samui, Melati Beach Resort & Spa offers a luxurious retreat with sleek suites, many featuring private pools. The resort boasts a spa, a private beach, and two restaurants for guests to indulge in. With modern Thai interiors and spacious rooms that open out to tropical views, the property exudes elegance and tranquility. Guests can also enjoy amenities such as outdoor swimming pools, on-site dining options, bars, fitness center and wellness treatments at the spa.
Everything about our stay was amazing! There are 2 communal pools, one is in the middle of the resort and very calm, the other is by the beach and has the pool bar where the majority of the guests go. The accommodation was beautiful, we had our own pool and I loved the outdoor shower! The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and private pool were cleaned daily and there were daily sweet treats left for us. The food was delicious. There was a lot of choice for the buffet breakfast, Continental and Asian options. The resort has two restaurants, both served outstanding food by outstanding staff. We would definitely go back.

This hotel is just amazing! We loved the beach and infinity pool. The people are so friendly, the staff gives it all to make your stay memorable! Also good food and a breakfast buffet that makes you wake up with a smile! We come back here!

Looking for seclusion, total relaxation, beautiful food and amazing service? Stay at the Melati! Had a girls holiday for just over a week and the pictures and reviews do not do this place justice. Rooms: We stayed in a king room, massive comfy bed! The room is very spacious and clean. The staff really do look after you here. We loved the special desserts that were for different days of the week, we looked forward to this every night, such a lovely touch! Restaraunt/food: Buffet breakfast every morning was such good food! The service was consistently amazing and very quick with coffee and additional food orders. The space was always very clean, the staff here do a wonderful job and had kept our favourite seats for us. Special thank you to Padthai, Fon, Ton, Kevin and Jiji you truly made our stay extra special! Pool: Theres two pools, there is the main pool with a pool bar, definitely a favourite! Plenty of lounge space and a beautiful view of the private beach. We were gobsmacked by the view its truly beautiful. There is also a second adults only pool in the garden, this is so beautiful and relaxing and they have phones by the pool so you’re not missing out on getting drinks delivered to you. The pool/bar staff were so amazing! They were on top of everything always! And no request was too big. A very special shout out to Tony, Yeen and Sunny, you guys were a definite highlight and never let our glasses be empty or without a fresh towel and gave us a few laughs! Thank you so so much for everything. Spa: Of course we had to get some spa treatments! I had a thai massage and on another day a 3.5 hour spa treatment. Highly recommend getting these! Great price and a beautiful experience. The thai massage was the best massage I have ever had. I am already looking to come back again! We only left the resort for some activities we had booked but otherwise we were more than happy to relax here all the time! Its only about 15-20min drive to fishermans markets, its a little secluded but not too far so if you’re happy to just relax and shut off from the busyness of life highly recommend coming here!

This was a 2 night stay at end of a wonderful trip. We Wanted to stay somewhere different in KS. The hotel does have a beautiful pool and lovely grounds but it is far away from anywhere..you cannot walk to other eateries or Choeng Mon village. You have to take taxis. Choeng Mon beach is gorgeous and we had a lovely meal there but had to taxi-ditto Fisherman’s village. Melati puts 10% on all its food and drinks therefore a v simple lunch was the cost of a meal on Koh Pha-Ngan! No happy hour. The staff were nice and can’t fault the breakfast offerings which were generous and plentiful. The room was ok-terrible pillows-but not sound proofed and the bathroom was oversized and very hot. We got a deal through Agoda and it was nice to laze by the pool and swim at their little beach but I would not return. Far better value elsewhere.

We have just celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary and both of our Birthdays in this absolutely beautiful resort. The staff are the most beautiful people I have ever met 💞 they made our 14 days absolutely magical. The villas are perfect and fully serviced every day and the food was amazing, do yourself a favour and GO!

We’ve just spent there 6 days and we can’t be more delighted. Amazing place, so beautiful. Cared to the detail. The staff is really nice, charming and professional. They are always there to help you with a smile on their faces. The pools, the location, everything is simply perfect.

I think I understand the broad range of reviews for this hotel. I suspect that those who give it top ratings don't have much experience in 5-star hotels. If you're not accustomed to the kind of detailed perfection in a proper 5-star establishment you might mistake Melati for top quality. Having said that, it was a very nice hotel, with some great facilities. Many details, however, were not quite to standard. The staff were generally very helpful, though they were also generally very young and perhaps a little inexperienced. The front reception need to be impeccable. Fully knowledgeable, attentive, and eager to help. Unfortunately, they were not this. They were friendly, but disengaged, often more interested in their own conversations than attending to customers. There must be a kind of 'tropical entropy' in places like Koh Samui. Everything is in a constant state of falling apart in the heat and humidity. The staff did a wonderful job of keeping up with the gardens; sweeping, pruning, etc. Every morning the grounds looked like new, and there was constant work to maintain the trees and plants. The same could not be said of the villas and rooms themselves. Everything was on the edge of breaking, with some things actively doing so. It feels like a hotel that would have been amazing about 7 years ago. They haven't really kept up with the maintenance. A great example of the 'not quite good enough’ was the gym. It is a miserable little affair. The equipment is old, needing repair or replacement. The space itself is tired. In fact, that would be the best description for the hotel as a whole; a little bit tired. Towels that are approaching threadbare, sink plugs that don't work, moldy woodwork in the shower (all pictured); many things were just a little half-arsed. No doubt it is a hotel that requires a LOT of maintenance. Unlike a large high-rise facility, the individual villas would mean that the ratio of maintainable building to paying customer must be very low. Nevertheless, we've been to hotels where they managed this; true 5-star quality. This hotel ticks the 5-star boxes, but isn't the top quality, attention to detail, experience that you can get. The beds are very comfortable, the pools magical, the food delicious, the buffets extensive, the rooms spacious. Do not think this is a terrible place; we still had a lovely time, and our private pool villa provided fantastic privacy for a romantic time. The middle pool appeared undervalued, and we spent a lot of time there (coming from Sydney, we weren't as obsessed with the beach, which was nice enough). It is a long way to anywhere, so you'll likely be eating many of your meals in the hotel. We did, including a lot of room service. Over the 10 days we spent about AUD$900 on all the various expenses (including Beach BBQ, evening buffets, etc) for 2 people. Overall, although the place is due for a thorough refit, it was still a wonderfully relaxing and refreshing experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Melati Beach Resort! We had an amazing stay at Melati Beach Resort. The location is tucked away and secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. Even though it's a bit off the main areas, it's no problem at all. It only costs about 400 baht by taxi to get to both Fisherman’s Village and Chaweng, so everything is still within easy reach. The staff here are absolutely incredible – so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of options, fresh ingredients, and a beautiful setting to start the day. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable – we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil escape in Koh Samui with top-notch service and a great atmosphere.

Royal Muang Samui Villas is an upscale beach resort offering refined suites and villas, a spa, dining options, and an outdoor pool. The location is convenient, with nearby attractions such as Samui Football Golf and Fisherman's Village Bophut. Guests have praised the resort's beach for being rock-free and its proximity to amenities like 7/11, eateries, and Thai massage options. The staff are described as wonderful and helpful.
Did lots of research before deciding to bring family here (18yr daughter + 15yr son). From start to finish we loved it. Rooms are huge, with very Thai feel, each has a balcony. We wanted authentic Thai and not a box standard international hotel. Service and friendliness of all staff was outstanding. Reception were very helpful in booking all our trips, restaurants and taxis. Strangely some people's reviews about breakfasts here were mixed. There was so much choice (considering it's not a big hotel) and was all wonderfully fresh. So much fruit, breads, yogurt, pastries, cooked options. Even a juice counter where you choose the fruit for them to prepare your freshly squeezed drinks. Beautiful setting overlooking the pool and beach. Breakfast was one of daily highlights. Beach is perfect, white sands with lots of different options for eating, never too crowded. We ate out locally most nights. The one disappointment was the weekly BBQ on the beach. Although great setting, food wasn't the best we had.

We had a nice stay here. Room felt luxurious and clean, and we could easily request things like housekeeping through their app. Location was fantastic by the beach. Staff was helpful and nice. Points for improvement: breakfast was probably the worst of our trip in Thailand. Very basic, pastries and pancakes didn’t feel fresh. Selection was scarce compared to other hotels we stayed in. We had a room on the first floor and sometimes it was quite noisy. You can hear a lot from the upstairs guests. More chairs could be added by the pool, since very early in the morning people reserve a spot and then don’t show up until later in the day, we could barely use the pool for this reason.

I really enjoyed my staying in Royal Muang Samui Villas! I enjoyed the pool and the beach and of course the breakfast! Also they have a newly opened Pilates Reformer Studio with also yoga, ballet and sound healing classes! Tried Reformer on Samui for the first time! Thanks 😊 will definitely come again!

Didn't stay here, just had a meal. To get from the front lobby to the beachfront you really need to take an electric golf buggy which is available free of charge quite a bit of a hassle. There are two Beachside / poolside restaurants. The food was very tasty but cold by the time it got to our table. Nice atmosphere overlooking a pool with a waterfall and a calm Beach. It's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Visited Samui villas for my honeymoon. It was such a beautiful and unique place. Rooms clean. Facilities incredible. Service perfect. You should visit. The beach of the hotel is beautiful ❤️ would definitely visit again! I love the place

We stayed in the pool family villa – beautifully located and tastefully decorated. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Also, the resort’s app is absolutely life-changing – it made everything so easy and convenient!
Andreea R — Google review
You know when you stay somewhere and you can’t remember why you chose it, Royal Muang is that place. It’s quite nice without being particularly great at anything. It’s really functional, not too expensive, and it has old world Thai charm - often old and often charming. When you roll up, check-in is fine but there’s a whole thing where they walk you through the minutae of downloading their app. You’re sitting there the whole time like “girl, I have many apps, I got this, but pls show me every screen”. Thank god for the calming welcome drink and the unwavering friendliness. Your room will be massive. Like 3 normal rooms smushed to make one super room. And the bed is big too. You will need to text your partner if they are on the other side. But they are wearing and feel dated. The spa bath was kind of grandma bathroom yellow and the jets were vigorous but all kind of weird. I don’t understand a side waterfall in the bath. Furniture was comfy, it was all kind of ok, just a bit dark and a bit old. Breakfast is good, generous buffet-style. Fight your way through kids, big units, exhausted parents and you’ll be rewarded with nice eggs, bread, fruit… local dishes were surprisingly sparse and unappealingly congealed in the Bain Marie misery trays. Solid 7/10, like dinner at your grandparents. Sun lounger and pool area are fine, lots of early hoarding of the best spots. Towel = ownership. Kind of annoying, also always a sign of not enough beds. Be cool everyone, just share. Also this is squarely a family hotel. So many kids. But choeng mon is a family beach. Location is right on the beach but the hotel is big so you might also have quite a walk to your room like we did, but that also put us near the street to grab supplies from 7-11 or get a massage. But if you don’t mind a walk, all g. I like to use the gym, but it was like stepping into the 90s. Basic treadmills, reclining bike, one cross trainer and dumbbells. All really old and thoroughly well used. Got me through but wasn’t a nice experience. Pure function, like how it feels to drive a van. So it’s fine. It has all the things, I think it’s just aging, and needs a big iOS update. It’s an iPhone 5 in an iPhone 16 world. But sometimes who needs the latest right?

Best hotel, best location on the best beach in Samui. Huge rooms, always friendly staff, personal touch. We stayed for 9 days and it is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in Thailand. Highly recommended.

Sky Lounge Samui offers a delightful experience with its stunning views of the cliff-side pool and the vast ocean. The afternoon tea is a perfect choice for a leisurely afternoon, featuring bite-sized pastries, cakes, and deli sandwiches. It's an incredible place to enjoy delicious food while taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Absolutely incredible experience at Sky Lounge! This Caribbean rooftop gem in Thailand exceeded all expectations. The moment I stepped onto the rooftop, I was greeted with stunning panoramic views of the island and ocean — the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The ambience was laid-back yet elegant, with island-inspired decor and chill Caribbean beats that made me feel like I was on vacation within a vacation. The food was nothing short of phenomenal — from the jerk chicken spring rolls to the peppered steak, every bite was packed with flavour and authenticity. The homemade ginger beer is a must try! The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about delivering a top-notch experience. If you're looking for a unique fusion of Caribbean flair and Thai hospitality with unbeatable views, Sky Lounge is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!

Love love love this place. Vibe and atmosphere are very chill and as for the view :-D......it's well worth the visit. The food was 12/10 and cocktails were delicious and strong. We will be back. Make sure you get the free shuttle up the hill.
Tee J — Google review
There is nothing negative to say about this place. I went on a weekday for lunch because the electricity had gone out on Samui (a usual occurrence on rainy days). Sky Lounge had a generator running. I was the only patron there, & I was greeted warmly & treated with the utmost respect & attention. I had two different rum cocktails—sublime. The jerk chicken, rice/beans, & coleslaw—delicious. I’ve not had such flavourful, tender chicken in a very long time. The lady who served me was attentive & kind, while allowing me alone time to enjoy the view, sip my rum, & feel the tropical breeze. I look forward to returning to Sky Lounge on my next visit to Samui. This place proves that not all quality establishments have to be on the beach, in the middle of the chaotic nightlife.

We had a great time here after visiting twice. The jerk chicken and brown stew chicken both have amazing flavours. The pepper prawns also include a lot of prawns, and the dumplings were a good side to mop up the flavourful sauces. The jerk chicken spring rolls are a personal favourite of ours being a good fusion between thai and jamaican food :) The waitress is lovely and very responsive, especially as the restaurant was rather quiet both times we went so we were given full attention and the food came out quickly. The views are unmatched in Koh Sumai and the restaurant is nicely decorated, giving a good date night atmosphere.
Rebecca K — Google review
What an amazing find. My daughter is obsessed with Jerk chicken so we looked to see if any place did it and found the sky lounge. We weren't prepared for what might be the best views of Samui. Then add delicious authentic Jamaican food and beautiful cocktails and you get one of the best experiences in Samui.

Because it was off-season, we were alone all evening... a shame because this place is highly recommended! The food was fantastic, the view is amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly! We chose this spot to avoid being surrounded by Instagrammers ;) Tip: the shuttle taxi is waiting down the hill, don't go up by motorbike!

An Unforgettable Full Moon Experience in the Heart of the Jungle! Attending the Holistic Full Moon Ceremony at Sky Lounge Samui was nothing short of magical. Nestled high in the lush jungle of Chaweng Noi, this hidden gem offers not just a taste of tranquility—but a full immersion in it. The panoramic views of the sea and stars set the perfect backdrop for an evening of deep connection and spiritual release. From the moment I arrived, the calming, zen-like atmosphere washed over me. Surrounded by nature, with the sounds of the jungle blending seamlessly into the serene rhythms of the ceremony, I felt completely grounded. The session combined powerful breathwork, kriya, meditation, and sound healing, each layer building on the next to create a deeply moving experience. The fire release ritual was both symbolic and freeing, while the water manifestation under the full moon brought a sense of renewal and clarity that I’ll carry with me for weeks. Every detail was intentional, guided by a team of compassionate, skilled facilitators who created a truly sacred space. If you’re in Samui and seeking something soul-nourishing, this is the experience you didn’t know you needed. Elevated in every sense—spiritually, emotionally, and literally—Sky Lounge Samui is a sanctuary above the island
