Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Espoo

My go-to place whenever in Keilaniemi. Great, authentic Indian flavors and brings back delicious memories from visits to India. The only problem is my tendency to eat too much but that's a personal problem :)

I had a mixed experience. Lunch buffet was good and value for money. I liked it. Food was relatively fresh than other Indian cuisine available nearby. I appreciate the hospitality. But individual meals (from the menu) seemed overpriced.

I grabbed lunch here during a normal Wednesday lunch hour, lots of available seating and a peaceful atmosphere. I came to try this place out as my Indo-Asian co-worker suggested to try this place out as this is the closest to what he'd describe as "proper" indian food you can get in Helsinki. Maybe it was just the menu that day, but the main courses unfortunately underwhelmed me. Like yeah, it was tasty, good, and had so much to choose from, but alas, something just didn't click unfortunately. But to soften the blow, I gotta give it to them, the naan, fruit punch and the dessert they offered were really punching above their weight class. I'll most likely try to spin the wheel again next week to see if I just happened to have my lunch on an inopportune time. To summarize, if you like Indian food, or would like to try it, definitely give this a chance. I hope my visit was just a fluke :D

Spicy potatoes on Wednesday are great. So is the Aloo. Chili chicken on Thursday is good too.

One of the best places in Espoo (near sello shopping mall) for authentic Indian food. It has wide selection of good quality, delicious items in menu. I took from tandoori section no 19 and it was awesome. This place also offer buffet lunch.

I tried many asian places in Helsinki and Espoo, and I can say this is most probably the WORST. The owner is extremely rude. Also when they offer take away they even do NOT let you take the buffet yourself, they serve self-service buffet for you, which is ridiculous. But the worst is they will NOT add salad, bread, drink or dessert, otherwise you need to pay extra for each of these things. This unpolite behavior does not fit the Finnish standards at all so I was shock. Now I understand why many people complain regarding how rude the owner is.

Very bad food and the customer service is one of the worst I've ever seen! If you're in a good mood, it's not a place to go and have peace and quiet! I don't recommend this place for absolutely anything!

Don’t order burgers here! We came for a company dinner and had a reservation, but the service wasn’t good. We had to explain our orders many times, and still some food came wrong. The appetizers, desserts, and drinks were really good. But the burgers were terrible. All the well-done burgers were burnt and had hard edges that we couldn’t even cut with a knife. When I told the waiter, he just said, “Next time order medium+ instead of well-done,” which wasn’t very helpful. I heard their pizza is very good, but the burgers were a big disappointment!

An excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, and they offer a big variety of beers that pair wonderfully with the food. Their pizza, baked in a traditional oven, is simply perfect. I highly recommend trying the cheese pepperoni pizza—it’s a must-try for any pizza lover.

In doubt between 3 of 4 stars. The reason why is because I have been here two times, once for some drinks which is completely fine with nice beers to choose from. Second time I went for a pizza and choose the cheese overload. The base was fine but the taste a bit plain. The nduja sausage was difficult to find and the chives ricotta simply didn't match with the pizza. It wasn't nice at all. The beers and the flaming Alaska meringue dessert made my day though.

Grate food and cozy if not a little loud atmosphere. The service was okay but a lot of errors both in ordering and with payment. The food was out within 20 minutes

Honestly it's pretty bad, food is coming cold, they are not gonna re heat it for you. Have you ever tried cold steak? You gonna try it here. They will change your food if it's cold for another one that's also cold. They are never really cleaning anything and walking around looking like they are angry or miserable. You need salt? Go ask the kitchen for it as a customer. Need toothpick? Well go run after the waiter. Wanna order something well you can only order from the lunch menu till dinner. I really do not recommend this place.

I really love the fat lizard. I have gone there multiple times and it’s always a treat. I had brunch buffet on a Sunday and we were so filled up as a family as they had so many things to eat for a price of 27 euros for 2 people. I also went for dinner another time and I had their stake with potatoes. It’s super delicious. Their pizza is also very good and I highly recommend dining here!

The best pizzas in Espoo at least by the recognition in the pizza competition in Italy. Very fine pies and also the craft beer selection is at least decent. Staff is partially students from the campus so English is the main language I would say.

Disappointing experience with customer service. The restaurant's website states that it is open from Tuesday to Friday until 22:00, but they closed earlier than expected, which was inconvenient. Additionally, when inquiring about dietary options, the staff seemed unfamiliar with the details and reacted defensively rather than providing helpful information.

Great taste of the food, "personal service" and good deserts. Portion sizes could be bigger. The lamb skewers were best in Espoo.

Turkish Delight Wide selection of meze. Weekend buffet was pricey though. But stomach is full.

I came here for dinner, and the restaurant was completely empty. Quite strange as the reviews are good. I guess they are for lunch or fake? The food is too expensive for the quality you get. Don't get me wrong, the food was not bad, but the portion not so big and the bread served with the dish was not really Turkish. I got the Iskender meat menu and the filled wine leaves as starter. I would not come back.

Very nice turkish cuisine. On top of the good kebab there is a salad table with alot of options. Open only for lunch from 10.30 am to 3 pm. There is a terrace so it is possible to eat outside.

We had a late-evening meal here before going to the movies next door. Weird experience I have to say. Besides us there was only one other couple eating here. The front of house took the orders and as I thanked the waiter in Finnish, he replied quite rudely that he does not speak Finnish. I understand that our language is difficult to learn, but I still think it would be appropriate to at least learn some basic phrases in Finnish (like “kiitos” and “ole hyvä”). Minimum expectations are that the front of the house should at least show some decent manners by not reprimanding the customers for saying thanks in Finnish. Newsflash to staff: You are operating in Finland, not Turkey. When in Rome you know… In addition to this, the waiter acted surprised and started to roast us when my wife paid the bill. Another newsflash to the staff: In Finland men and women have equal rights. It is ok here for a woman to pay as well as do other things that men do. I wish that people from other countries and cultures could act in the manner that is appropriate to the country they are residing in. Again, when in Rome… The good thing with this restaurant is that the food tasted ok, but the portion sizes were disappointing. Given that the prizes are appr. 25 € per portion, the expectation is that you would be served ample portions. Disappointingly this is not the case. There are plenty of restaurants in Tapiola and I will not choose this one again. I think that it would be appropriate to hire someone to the front of house that have some basic manners and some passion for what they are doing. Now, even as the restaurant was almost empty, the service made us feel unwelcome.

Great lunch buffet. High quality food but less veraiety

Terrible food. Visited this place yesterday for dinner to celebrate Father's Day, total disappointment. The mushroom soup was extremely salty and oily, can't believe they actually dare to serve that to people. Then had the salmon, nothing special, but you can easily have better salmon for the same price. For dessert had the French Toast, no complains. But some others had the Apple Pie, it had an awful appearance and not the best taste. I have read some other reviews and some people say that the food is too expensive for the quality, and I totally understand why. However, I would add that in no respectable place, no matter the price range, have I ever eaten such disgusting food.

We stopped for drinks at this beautiful restaurant in the middle of the marina. The evening was exceptionally warm, so we enjoyed our drinks on the nice outdoor terrace of the restaurant. The rock surface continued right next to the terrace and behind it was the boat channel and more piers. The place feels really maritime! This time we didn't eat, but settled for beers, aperol spritz and glasses of wine. The pricing was at the high end so be ready to pay 10 euros for a glass of beer! The service was friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Nearly perfect place if you are with a boat, the evening sun on the terrace is not be missed during the summer season, docking the boat is easy as many spaces are available for restaurant customers only. The food if pretty good compared to other similar options around Espoo.. the staff is friendly and even borrows their personal lighter in need :)

Really bad food. Good ambience. Decent service. One of the really bad lunches I had in recent times. I had a vegan starter and main meal. Both of them tasted bad. If you want to eat something vegan, avoid this place. I heard from my friends that steak is also not good here. The seafood is good though. UPDATE: Nice to see that the management responds to reviews. Please ask your chef to practice some nice vegan recipes. Vegan food does not need to taste like grass. There are many amazing vegan recipes.

the young girl serving us was lovely. the atmosphere is very nice too. unfortunately the food wasn't great. 25€ for a burger, you'd expect it to be excellent but it was awful. Ultra salty, rubbery patty. It really isn't the most difficult food to get right. 5 stars for service, 1 for food

Best tenderloin steak I ever had! Tartare was exceptional as well. I honestly don’t get the negative reviews, especially those that have to do with a small menu, which on the contrary shows the quality of the establishment. Great place, great location and great service. A bit pricy. Highly recommend

We had dinner here on a quiet Sunday. The waitress was in a very good mood, the service was quick and the food was tasty. We had shrimp pasta and some other dishes. The setting is very nice inside.

Consistently has been the most enjoyable place to have breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere, spacious for family of 3 kids, nice views with much light coming in. Customer service has always been great, particularly from Wafaa who brings much positive energy.

My wife and I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. Everything in the food was top notch and what added a nice note was Mirva the waitress. She was friendly, helpful, and very focused on the tiniest details. Will reoeat for sure when next time in Helsinki.

Ambient atmosphere and very friendly service! There is an ice skating rink just in front of the restaurant and it’s very pleasant to watch people skating while you eat.

Seems great on first glance, however... We weren't asked how we wanted our meat cooked and got it well done. I prefer medium-rare. When we were asked how we liked it, we told them as it was and got an unfriendly unprofessional response. The server didn't take any blame for it and made it seem like it's our problem. Additionally, the asparagus that came with it was ok at best. Overall definitely not worth the price.

I really wanted to like this place but the food was only mediocre, and the portions were quite small in relation to their high prices (240 € total for two adults and two teenagers including two beers). My husband's risotto rice was not fully cooked. My Skagen toast appetizer was so toasted that a knife wouldn't pierce it They never asked how well we wanted our steaks done and cooked them medium by default (we prefer ours medium rare). The atmosphere was very lovely though, and the view to the popular ice skating rink with colorful lights.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I must say, the Georgian cuisine was absolutely delightful. This restaurant has quickly become one of my top three Georgian restaurants. Every dish I ordered was incredibly flavorful and delicious. They also offer a variety of unique non-alcoholic beverages that are equally tasty. I've included some photos of these drinks. The restaurant is conveniently located in a shopping center, making it easy to use the parking facilities. Since it's situated at the end of the hallway on the second floor, it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was prepared within a reasonable time frame.

really good Georgian place, we tend to visit different Rioni places multiple times per year and they have never let us down. I highly recommend the cheese breads and the garlic chicken.

Visited few times Rioni in Helsinki and finally got a chance to visit it in Espoo. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and adequate waiting time. Food is delicious and portions are quite big, always enough of food. Coming back for sure, must visit place

Fantastic restaurant with beautiful, fresh, delicious food in generous portions. There's something on the menu for everyone, with plenty of vegan options, as well as meat. The staff was extremely helpful and happy to explain the dishes and the Georgian way of dining. Highly recommend this restaurant; it may be my favourite in the Helsinki region (and I'm picky)! 😄

Had lunch at Panoramic Restaurant Haikaranpesä for the third time. A stylish, sea-view venue that offers an indoor buffet experience with calm vibes and a touch of elegance. However, a few things to know before you go: the restaurant works by reservation only, and the menu is nearly identical every day. You’ll find marinated salmon, fish tartare, fresh salads, different potato sides, desserts, ice cream, hot drinks, and free water. Occasionally, there’s steak-style hot dishes, but don’t expect much variety. Also, a note for management: one of the tall male chefs tends to give lingering looks that can make some guests feel uncomfortable. If you’ve noticed the same, feel free to like this comment — maybe it will bring some awareness. No outdoor seating, but the panoramic view from inside is truly a highlight. Very nice experience! The atmosphere and music are outstanding. The food is good. The current menu is very nice. However, I wish there is a little more variety. For example, one or two signature dishes would be perfect (either dessert or the main course).

What a pleasant and relaxing lunch! Came here on a Monday afternoon and it was quiet and the views were just beautiful. The service was excellent and very friendly from our female waitress. The salad and cold buffet in the beginning is excellent with lots of variety and the desserts are wonderful too. The entrées are just ok. And the music is excessively dated, but that’s part of the fun. 😎 All in all, we love this beautiful stork’s nest / UFO 🛸 water tower hang out + will be back with family again soon! 🙏🏻

Amazing view which makes it worth the visit. The food is good, well done, however if you aren't carnivorous, the magic buffet disappears and they serve you at the table. Then it is important to book a table and let them know in advance. Friendly staff.

The place has a really nice view of the baltic sea. The buffet is slightly overpriced considering the menu they provided. The starter collection is really good with different meat and fish assortment.The deserts are average. There are only two items in the main course, we had white fish and beef with average preparation.

Whenever I crave for some spicy curry, I make sure to visit this restaurant. Eating hot curry during the cold winter season warms up my stomach and the food is always scrumptious and worth the price. I highly recommend it. 😋👍🏼

Fantastic! Food was fantastic, real good atmosphere, good ventilation so the restaurant doesn't make you smell. Fantastic waiters, very helpful, very polite. Menue both in Finnish and English. Will definitely try it again and definitely recommend if you like Indian/Nepalese food.

Excellent place for some Nepalese food. Probably my favourite from the capital area. No brunches over weekends. Lunch time prices are very affordable. Foods include hard snacking bread with a dip, soft naan, rice and yoghurt plus pea/bean sauces usually. Service is good and fairly hasty. However, If you feel ignored try to make eye contact with the staff or get their attention they can be busy during rush hours.

Bad food. We ordered Veg kofta and Tofu curry. Our friend ordered Butter chicken and Mutton chilli. The food was really bad, particularly the vegetarian dishes and Butter chicken. All of us left over a lot of our food. The tea being served there was also bad. Please don't hurt your stomach by eating here. Arrogant staff. They were always in a hurry from the moment we entered the restaurant to have lunch. I wonder why the hurry... It wasn't closing time or anything. I personally felt that the staff's attitude and behaviour was really inhospitable. Hygiene? God knows. I heard a couple of loud sneezes from the kitchen during my 1 hour time there. Maybe it's ok. But I don't usually hear this in other restaurants. Due to this, I felt slightly concerned about the hygiene. Good music. The only good thing about this restaurant were the pleasant Indian songs playing in the background. Otherwise, visiting this place is an UTTER waste of money and time. This was my review when I visited this place 2 years ago: "Good ambience and good food. Good prices too!" I suppose the good ambience and good prices are still valid. But BAD staff and BAD food.

Possibly best Nepalese restaurant in Espoo. Friendly service, tasty food, very fast, and reasonably priced. Simply great from papadam to lassi.

Although the place has high google reviews and reputation, my personal experience was not so good. Although, Hospitality was very nice and food smells so good from even outside, the quality of food was not as expected. Chicken was not fresh and undercooked.

Nice restaurant. Great service and atmosphere, which transports you away from the mall environment right outside. I enjoyed a salmon soup and a pesto pasta, both well prepared and tasty. Will be back!

Located in Sello shopping mall, restaurant Base offers a nice break in the middle of the shopping spree. The atmosphere is cozy and the service friendly. The menu features pastas and salads and you can choose the side ingredientes leaving some room for choice. Pasta with gorgonzola cheese was ok although a bit dull and could have been warmer. Rum and raisin ice cream was ok as well but no surprises there either.

Ordered the burger and it was just amazing, I didn't know what to expect initially but exceeded any expectations. And the service... The waiter was the best I've encountered in my life, hilarious guy, it was like I had a stand-up comedy show included with my meal. Great experience overall!

Nice lunch place in Sello Mall, they have "better side" for a la Carte and less fancy for lunch. Lunch was best cobb salad I have had in Finland and they had nice risotto for vegetarian friend. Both with soup and extra salad, and thebprice was still reasonable.

The best restaurant in Leppävaara. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is nice, you can enjoy a good dinner. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The bar is OK, but nothing to write home about. A few beers and ciders, but not really a selection.

Linen table restaurant with great food and attentive service.

The view is amazing. The food, you can find better food at home. Starter is good, but the cold soup tastes like pea soup. The Steak was served a bit cold and the mushrooms sauce tasted a bit odd. The pistachio dessert not so good. I had better ice cream and the cake tasted like those made by children. The service was good. Food was a bit late but the waiter was super friendly. My drink came with too much ice and beer was not cold enough. So not the best experience but not bad either. Definitely needs improvement. A bit over priced.

The only vegetarian option for the main course was surprisingly bad: a piece of boiled cauliflower dipped in curry powder and placed on some hummus, everything way too salty. I could barely feel any flavour, it was just all salt. Charging for tap water seems like a weird policy.

Amazing cabinet that was private with gorgeous views! Food was some fusion cuisine which tasted pretty good - the truffle tartare was my favourite dish of the night.

A cloudy day, the view outside wasn’t perfect. The food has some innovative features that justify the price. Best ever tarte Tatin in Finland.

Not really sure what this place wants to be.. fine dining, casual fine dining, or just a regular restaurant? Portion size definitely screams fine dining (small plates, high price), which is fine. Ambience? No problem there. But the music choice threw me off… instead of something classic or jazzy, they played R&B pop. Not bad, just didn’t really fit the vibe. Food-wise, the steak was a bit hit or miss, some parts were way too salty, while the sauce felt a little too light (except the mushroom sauce, that one was good). Dessert actually saved the night: chocolate cake with coconut flakes and ice cream (no complaints, really nice). Drinks? Tried red wine and “Peach Please,” both were just… okay-ish. Overall, for the value of money? Hmm, let’s just say you can do better 😉

Decent sushi and bento at this neighborhood restaurant. Fish is fresh and the portions were filling. My order of Salmon bento came with vinegared rice, soft warm pieces of cooked salmon, sliced salmon sashimi and a salad with veggies, sweetcorn and seasoned seaweed. The sashimi was served too cold but the meal was satisfying. My partner's sushi set was also filling and had a mix of sushi with a side of cucumber rolls. The restaurant has a nice setting. Service is quick and the wait for the food was short.

Worst “sushi” of my life. I ordered the boat for two as it was recommended for €40. I ate three pieces from it and regret eating those three. Fish (the little there was) wasn’t fresh, rice was cold. About half of the sushi was essentially just rice with negligible seafood in it. I say seafood since I couldn’t tell whether it was supposed to have shrimp or fake crab or what. I think a few of the pieces were rice and canned tuna. I think a few were fake crab. We were the only customers and I can definitely see why. We paid and left within 5 minutes of us being served a boatful of disappointment.

This sushi restaurant as one of the waitresses told me has been there for ten years. It was my first visit on 3.8.2020, I took a lunch offer of 15 sushi (the set varies as I was told) for 13,50€. I liked the fresh taste of sushi, the taste of their miso soup, the atmosphere, bautiful interior design of the place and friendly customer service. I was surprised though that during almost an hour I spent there I was the only customer. I definitely recommend this place. On a side note, I had to ask for disposable chopsticks as on the tables they had reusable wooden ones which I considered not very hygienic.

The quality has gone down so badly. This place used to be very good before and during Covid but the last 3 times (within 3 months) I ordered, the fishes were not fresh (especially tuna and the white fish). I placed the order of a boat for 3 people at 19:45 to take away, and clearly request that no tuna or white fish. Surpringly I received still the white fish in my food and when I ask if they can change to anything else, the chef said that they are closing now so can not change anything. I am dissapointed to receive this service.

He's so humble and kind, always making sure everyone feels welcome and appreciated. His personal touch makes this place feel like home. If you're looking for great food and a warm, friendly atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely the place to go!

Best indian restaurant so far in whole Espoo / Helsinki. The restaurant is run by a couple who always make you feel home. Their chole bhatureare highly recommend.

Food was awesome! Tasted really good and was spicy😋 Naan-bread could have been better, but was good nevertheless. Service was good and you were made very welcomed. Atmosphere was nice with proper music but the restaurant is pretty worn out.

I recently visited a restaurant over the weekend and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. The food was below average and served cold, which was disappointing. The thali system where they serve food on a plate was not up to the latest standard of cooking. The premium prices charged for the food did not align with the average quality. The meal was lacking salad and condiments that you would normally expect when dining out, and the naan which they served was frozen and undercooked, not homemade. The Bhautre was chewy, which was not pleasant. Overall, I was disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant and would not recommend it to others.

The food is what you would expect from a very skilled cook if you were to visit their home in India: healthy ingredients, very tasty and you can always ask for more. The atmosphere is very chill, owners are extremely friendly and you are treated as your guest. The restaurant hasn’t changed in the several years that we have been visiting and we hope and it stays like that. Some reviews say that the service is slow: it is not a fast food restaurant, so you can expect to wait 10-15 min after you order (unless it is a buffet) they cook their own. bread on the spot: it prevents waste and you get it hot. Instead of naan, order puri.

Unfortunately not a good experience :( The reason is: 1- Classic pizza is not known for the best pizza in the town, but one would expect better than a random kebab place by the street. Unfortunately it is made out of cheap grocery items. The olives, the ham and every other ingredient clearly tastes cheap, while the pizza is priced higher. This is not honest business. 2- The staff are whimsical meaning that one time they treat you well, the other time not. Depends on their mood on that day apparently. Feels like the customer should be happy that they are even allowed in that high establishment. This certainly should not be the case. 3- we should give credit where it's due. The interior atmosphere is pleasant and nice. Although we mostly ordered take away, still would be nice to eat in the restaurant as long as the staff are nice.

Good place, just for pizza. The restaurant is comfortable, and the service is good. Pizzas have good quality in general. The dough is thin and the cooking is good

The environment is calm and cosy. The service was great and quick. I ordered Frances pizza because of my love for mushrooms. They didn't disappoint 🙌 👏. The large size is big, maybe suitable for 2 people. The only downside is its location close to a busy passage route within the mall, so it can get a little bit noisy.

I wanted to eat delicious pizza, but I was disappointed. Huge chunks of tomatoes, like that. Prosciutto should be placed on the pizza after the oven, not before, the prosciutto is dry. And you can cut it before serving. The staff girls are very nice, but it's time to change the chef.

Mediocre! Not the best to my yaste at least, I had bolona, and the minced meat was out of taste! Very average in general.

I remember having a nice pizza from the restaurant so I ordered from Wolt. I’m really disappointed that the pizza arrived cold like it had been sitting there a long time before delivery. The pizza is nice but I had to warm them in the oven. Dining in seems like a better option.

Our first visit to this pizza restaurant. Staff is friendly. A premium pizza with smoked salmon and caviar which we took was thin and delicious. Unexpected charge for tap water didn't let us rate this place with 5 stars.

Was passing by and went in for a lunch. Food was good took the garlic chicken, rated for 2 "chilli" hotness in the menu, but wasn't really hot, nice and spicy still. Good naan and raita, friendly and fast service. Will eat here again :)

Dishes were full of taste. Both dishes we ordered from the lunch menu were pretty hot. Chicken tikka masala 13,60€ was a bit less spicy than Lamb butter masala 10,50€. Rice, naan, yoghurt and beans side dish were included. There is also a salad bar and tea/coffe. Overall a nice experience, a very friendly female employee. But a male employee who took our order had an unfriendly behaviour. He came to take our dishes away while we were still finishing eating (there were only a few customers at that time, so they were not in a hurry) and without saying a word started collecting plates from a our table. That was not nice of him. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. It was our first visit, maybe we will come again to have dinner. 6.10.2021

This has been our favorite Nepalese restaurant for over a decade. Great food, great service, great place.

Good service, delicious and big dishes. The prices range from 13-20€ for the main courses. Unfortunately they don't accept ePassi as a payment. Update: 14.01.18 food is still good, but no ePassi which is why I'm giving 3 and not 5 stars

The food was amazing, dining experience was nearly fine dine... the chefs know their ingredients well... the portions are smaller but I did not find them heavy on pocket, you will spend around 80-120€ for 2 people for avg of 3 meals for each person without wines which I feel is the standard range for restaurants in finland if you order À la carte, atleast from my experience I feel so.

The one and only fine dining in Tapiola, but it can hold its own even compared wit Helsinki standards. Good atmosphere and seasonal menus, it has never disappointed me. Warmly recommended, even for private events.

Great fine dining restaurant! The portions are small, so it is recommended that one orders 3-4 dishes/person. The artichoke soup was heavenly, also the Vadelma sorbet.

The best lehtipihvi steak in town, tender, well seasoned, and delicious. Excellent salad bar with bread sticks and marinara, you wont leave here hungry or unsatisfied. I would travel here just for lunch!

Not great, not bad. The starters were really good but main courses could've been better with a bit of effort. The starters came really late and right after we had finished them they brought the main course. The food was good considering it's an Italian restaurant in Finland. A bit pricy maybe, I would do the same portions myself with half the cost.

We had the linguine alla carbonara, the staff was nice enough to change the meat choice. However, it was under seasoned and the chicken was under cooked having a bad taste. The Parmigiano pizza was okay, nothing special.

Lunch 11,50€. Chicken, fish or vegetarian options. No lamb like usually in these Nepalese restaurants. No salad table. Only a small amount of basic salad with the portion itself. The main dish is not bad but definitely nothing special. Coffee and tea available. Tea tastes like normal tea. It's not Nepalese tea like usually. This area really lacks a good quality Nepalese restaurant. I'm going to eat here again. I feel still hungry after leaving this place.

The food was so traditional took me right back to Nepal the toast and all the flavours was amazing the staff was so friendly and it was fast although some dishes might take some time the decoration was very cool with some nepalies instruments dot was one of the best places I have visited I would definitely come back and it would me my last meal of I could choose I recommend this place So much if you have not visited the place you are missing out so much

Ordered Prawn Chili. It was the least spicy food I've ever eaten in nepalese and restaurant. Disappointing as it was supposed to be 2/3 chili symbols and I asked it to be spicy. Also there were shrimps instead of king prawns nepalese dishes usually use. (maybe for cutting costs?).

One person handling the whole restaurant. We ordered mango lassi with the main course which was forgotten till the end. Upon asking before leaving he offered to give it in a used glass bottle of a sparkling water in a Very unhygienic way. Don’t know how this kind of restaurant is even operating in a country like Finland. Also fun fact if you want to face racism from a Nepali guy please do visit there. All the Finns were guided to the tables with menus and asked to pay the bills afterwards where else for us they asked for it upon arriving and asking if we know what to eat without even giving the menu and asked for the payment right away! And never drink the mango lasssi that’s a horror in the glass.

Not a bad restaraunt, but I wouldn’t go again. The bread and toppings ratio was really off. There was good amount of bread but not enough toppings. My friend and I both had like one pickle for example. Also the vegetarian patty crumbled to pieces pretty easily. It was pretty good apart from that. I would recommend to take their sweet potato fries, because they were excellent. The normal fries were just fries. Little wet and loose, not really crispy. But like I said I recommend taking the sweet potato fries. They also forgot to give my friends drink, but little mistakes like that happen! The wait for food wasn’t too long on a Friday night.

Good selection for all family members. The level of salt used in the kids menu should be checkes though... At least my kid said it was way over the top last time.

Food was quite good, if somewhat pricy. The appetizers were good- the cheese salad barely had any cheese, but it tasted wonderful. The vitrushka came with prawns instead of cod and was also tasty. The reindeer is expensive, but definitely worth the price. Lamb however, wasn't. There wasn't much meat to begin with, and what was tgere was very fatty and chewy. House wines aren't worth it. The waitress also mixed up our dishes, and as we rarely eat reindeer and lamb, it took us over half the meal to even realise. Another small thing to mention is, we weren't asked the preferred temperature for the meat. The reindeer came medium, and the lamb medium rare. We would have preferred it the other way around.

Price and quality are bit unbalanced. Maybe an exotic place for foreigner to try some Scandinavian type of food but be ready to pay a lot. If money is no worry then go for it as a tourist. Otherwise just Skip

if you wanna come for the Viking vibe, that will be a good reason. Otherwise, for the food’s taste, I personally think food’s vendor in Hakaniemi or flea market (tori) is much more better. The food is either tasteless or too salty. Obviously as far as I know, scandinavian’s food is mostly boil or steam one but at least it should be balance in flavours. the price’s range is unbalanced as well. Interesting (probably) authentic experience. The staff was super nice. The portions were huge, well prepared, I just felt my dish had a bit too much gravy. We had deset also and it was really delicious.

I know, I know .. Harald is a Viking -theme restaurant, so why on earth did you go there? And on top of that you are a local! Weeeeeellll, I had been at a Harald (it is a chain) once before with foreign guests and thought to try it again. When we were seated, I noticed that there was hardly anyone at the restaurant, although it was Saturday evening. The only other people at this large restaurant was a one small group of tourists. Since we only had an hour to eat (we were going to see a movie), we decided to skip the appetizers and just have a main course to be safe. I ordered a pork plate and decided to have a beer with it. When asked for a recommendation, the waitress told us that they have their own house tar beer. I asked that was it similar to medieval beers like the German rauchbier (smoke beer) or steinbier (stone beer) the waitress told us that it was and that it was "really good". Well, after that kind of sales pitch I thought why not, let's give it a go. When the tar beer arrived, I had one sip of it and though that wow, this is really terrible, and isn't anything like the old medieval beers. On the contrary, it tasted like really-really-really-really watered down beer with a HUGE amount of sugar added to it, making it taste almost like a syrup. I took another sip and couldn't drink any more after that, it was that bad. The food arrived quickly after that and the waitress asked us that are we good drinks wise. I tried saying it the most politely way possible, that I had two sips of the beer and unfortunately it was simply undrinkable. The waitress apologized and asked me that would I like anything else with my food and I went with a Krušovice Cerne (dark lager). When the waitress gave me the dark Krušovice, she took the watered down beer resembling sugar-syrup mix (the tar beer) away and apologized once again. The pork that I had was pretty good, although massively greasy. And when I say greasy, I mean that even in the good US of A diners would notice that this food is particularly unhealthy, and that is saying much. When it was time to pay, I noticed that the restaurant was trying to charge me for both the Krušovice and the tar beer that they took away. I asked that was this an oversight on their behalf, since the beer clearly wasn't what they advertised it as (well heck, it didn't even resemble beer). The waitress said that their policy was that they will charge for everything no matter what. I said this was completely unacceptable (I never ever say this at restaurants) and she said that she'll talk to the manager if anything could be done about the situation. After a few minutes the manager walked right past our table, didn't stop and didn't want to make eye contact and went to the back of the restaurant. This was a bit strange as we were literally the only people at the restaurant (8pm on a Saturday!!). The waitress came back and said that the manager told her that the 'beer' tastes as it does we will be charged for the full amount. What the h..... yup, this is a tourist trap alright. I guess it was my own fault for going to an theme restaurant that was completely empty. I dine out about five times a week on average and have done so for the past 18+ years. In all this time I've just had one experience that was worse than this... and that was in 2000. I know it must be terrible to run a crew of 5-6 prime time on a Saturday and not having anyone at the restaurant, but if the customer is deeply disappointed in the food and/or service, the restaurant should always try to make it right. Even by giving a discount of 30 or 50% (in this case, 3-4eur) they could have fixed the situation. But they decided to go the other way and charge us the full amount, the manager couldn't care less about the situation and they lost two paying customers for life. Looks like they had already scared away the other locals... Just like the other locals, we won't be back either.

Pizza is always a solid choice here. This time, I also tried the antipasto platter. Even in the evening, the prices aren’t too bad. It’s a nice spot, and I love how it feels a bit tucked away, making it a quick escape from the crowds at Sello.

Great and original pizzas! Some of Finland's top chefs have been involved in innovating new tastes by combining different ingredients. Atmosphere is also pleasant for a mall restaurant and even suitable for dates. Still rather casual place though. In addition to pizzas they only serve salads. Sorry, no kebab here (waiters even have that printed on the back of their shirts). The only real drawback is their wine selection which is pretty limited and some cheap ones can be outright undrinkable.

So I’d like to start positive. The pizza was good. Nothing special, just very average. The place has good, dim lightings and nice seats. They only had one vegan options. My partner could choose from so many other options but I had only one. My pizza was topped with rotten basilika leaves (I got a bit discount at the end, but after eating half of my pizza because I didn’t notice the rotten leaves). We spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Another 20 minutes waiting for someone to come give us the bill, but ended up going to the cashier since nobody ever came. And this 40 minutes is not even including the time we waited for the pizza which would be like 10 mins. Super super slow service... and very vegan unfriendly. Wouldn’t come back

Quantity of food is very little compare to extremely high prices of the dishes. Ordered a rice dish with chicken costed 15,70€ and what was served was just really small portion of rice and 5 small pieces of chicken. Servicing of the food took more than 30mins. Overall a very bad experience High prices for very smaller portions of the food and wait time was way too long

OK, but not outstanding. Fresh ingredients. OK preparation. I am not dissatisfied, but it was many little things that left the experience somewhat wanting. Nigiri that fall apart, because topping not held in place by a dab of wasabi paste, nor with a slice of Nori leaf. Tiny ball of wasabi not sufficient for a large plate. Inattentive staff requiring multiple attempts to get attention, resulting in frantic waving to get them to take note. There are other options in Iso Omena. Those I already tried were better.

This is a sushi chain that serves decent sushi at reasonable restaurant prices in Finland. They also provide free flow of miso soup and green tea. Do remember to add the seaweed and spring onions to the miso soup as they help to bring more flavour and texture. Service staff are courteous but table service can sometimes be slow if there are many customers to serve. It's pretty expensive to eat sushi in Finland compared to other Asian countries but among the sushi restaurants in Finland, Hanko probably had a more reasonable range of prices. They also don't sell junk sushi (ie. Sushi stuffed with kiwi or strawberries/other fruits) so that is a sign that they know their sushi. The photo below is a 10 Euro lunch serving which I tried. I've also tried the 16+ Euro set on another occasion and I feel it is more worthwhile and filling to order the 16 euro portion.

We had the salmon poke bowls (the fresh salmon and the grilled option). I had mine with salad but i would get rice next time since its more filling. The pole bowls were made from fresh ingredients which made the dish so much more delicious. I give this dish a 4 because the price is a bit too high for the serving size.

First up the ordering process was wierd. When we went to sit down we realised that the wooden chopp sticks were wooden and one time use. Poor quality on those. The soy sauce was sweet! Not salty like usual. That made all the sushis taste wierd. The salmon/fish was of the low quality and tasted odd. The rice was alright, but not worth the price... The employees looked at us a bit wierdly. The atmosphere was nice, but taste was bad. Wouldn't go agian.

I dont know why this restaurant has low score, but ir really nice cozy restaurant, staff are super nice and friendly, looks like they care a lot and show you attention so can feel important and long waited guest. I ordered beer and Cezar Salad which was very tasty and very big portion, so if you think order salad and later main dish - think twice:)) nice restaurant to chill, good music, cozy.

I recently visited Peshawar Restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. First, the curry I ordered tasted old and lacked freshness, making it unappetizing. The naan bread was almost impossible to chew, as if it had been prepared days ago and reheated poorly. To make matters worse, the entire meal was served cold, which further ruined the experience. Even the cold drink I ordered was not fresh and lacked the fizz or quality you’d expect from a basic beverage. The overall experience was far below expectations, and I left feeling dissatisfied and regretting my choice. I would not recommend this restaurant unless significant improvements are made.

I heard this place used to be really good. The location and interior are spacious and nice. The crew is friendly and kind. Some meals are good, like the salmon, but others could use more balance. The naan is okay but a bit oily, and the mango lassi tasted bad. However, the cabbage didn’t taste fresh. I hope it improves and returns to how it was before.

I never expected Pakistan cuisine to be so bad. The rice was soaked and the curry was so bad in taste. The butter chicken also tastes bad and stale.

Very bad buffet, will never visit again. All curries were old. Even the rice served was old, chunky and scratched from the bottom surface as well as seemed like from 2 different old rice batches as the rice colour was different upon refill. Also this looked nothing like organic basmati rice mentioned on the website🤔. Even the raita sauce tasted sour/gone bad. The chicken in the butter chicken was so stiff, not sure how many times it’s been reheated and served again to be in this state. We were served naan bread on the table, which was again cold. We asked to get a warm fresh naan, they probably microwaved it as it was hot but rubbery and chewy. Only good thing was the lentil soup. Such a shame that Pakistani food is served in such bad condition. Avoid

We had dinner here and ordered fish curry and murgh chicken, served with naan bread. Unfortunately, both the fish and chicken were tough and difficult to eat, and the naan lacked any flavor. The food tasted stale, making the overall experience quite disappointing.

The chicken had a bad smell, which made it completely unappetizing. The curry was bland and lacked any real flavor. Am I too naive to think that everything in the picture is 15€? Just passing by outside of the restaurant you can see this picture, and off course it looks like a real bargain. You take a look inside and it's just a beautiful place, not too crowded, and very friendly staff welcoming you to stay in. You ask to be served that stunning burger with fries and a cold birra Moretti. Soon enough the friendly waitress charges 21.50€ for the order, and very naively I had to ask why? is it not 15€? and very friendly she says: "that's just the burger, below the picture you can see the price for the birra Moretti". And I say to her "that's ok then, it's ok".. while thinking to myself how am I soooo stupid? bite after bite I keep recalling what my mother always said "read carefully the small text at the bottom".. and suddenly my thoughts turn into unsatisfied-client mode and I tell to myself, fight for your beliefs! tell them they are wrong.. but then I look at my hands and the burger, fries, and cold birra Moretti are gone. So I think, well that wasn't too bad.. just don't come back.. go to Deliberi K7 they charge less for a better burger and fries, and a colder birra Moretti.

Beautiful small restaurant for brunch, lunch, and dinner. They have three options for brunch: full table, soup and salad with coffee and tea, or the dessert table with coffee and tea. Awesome for a group of people and different levels of hunger. Especially liked their savory dishes. Menu published on their website every week.

I came in for a lunch at 14:00 while there was still one hour remaning on the lunch hours. How ever most of the promised meals were eaten and never filled. Waitress was having her lunch in the same tables as customers and I had to ask for a water jug from another customer. Food is good but make sure you come well before the closing hours.

Terrible food. I don’t recommend.The food is very salty. Too much soya sauce and not tasty. I fall sick after eating those food. Staffs were unwelcoming. Their behaviour is such that you are not buying food rather begging food. I ate there twice. I found food very unhealthy and lower quality food, both time.

Lime Leaf never lets me down. Right after us (we arrived at the opening time, 11 am) it filled up to a plesently busy atmosphere. The service is quick and quite pleasant, but a little prompt and to the point. I highly recommend the sweat and sour chicken dishes Both buffet and a la carte.

My favorite lunch place in Espoo. A bit smaller and more cramped than it used to be.

The food was not that good, the chicken was cold and there was this weird oil test. And the service was a bit frustrating and it is not welcoming.

It is not a lunch buffet, but if you like, you can taste every dish. Today there were two curry dishes with either chicken or tofu. The spicy pork noodle soup was ok. The owner is very friendly.

Lunch for 4 adults, a Sun in Sep. Small cozy place, they offer a few tables or takeaway. It's a family restaurant, with a friendly atmosphere The food is prepared as you order it, the ingredients are fresh. We ordered 4 different dishes, all were delicious. The neighbourhood is a new part of town, still with few people around, but we all thought that the experience definitely was worth the effort to go from other parts of the city. It's on the highest quality level of what you find in Thailand. And at very reasonable prices.

Very cosy Thai restaurant in Töölö. We got a warm welcome from the staff. We opted for vegetarian buffet and it did not disappoint us. There were 3 curries, red Thai curry, yellow curry and tofu curry.. All three of them were extremely tasty and to make this all better, we got more freshly made yellow curry. One of the best Thai food in Helsinki! They staff are very kind, helpful and extremely hospitable. Ambience is very nice and gives a warm feeling. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This little restaurant is a gem for Thai food, they used to be in Soukka where we visited very often, and we missed them so much that we had to visit here as well. It’s ran by a really friendly couple, everything is very cozy and familiar, super nice service. And the best of all is the food, really authentic flavors made with a lot of care, best green curry in Helsinki!! Highly recommended 👍🏼

This restaurant delivers consistently some of the best chicken meals in the town. They seem to have a really good recipe. Portions are well-sized and Naan is proper stuff. Lunch prices are a bargain. Ok, the surroundings could be improved and there seem to be a lot of changes in personnel. Despite these minor shortfalls, I keep returning for the tender, fresh, spicy chicken bits with a smile on my face.

Was recommended by an Indian friends to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Espoo. The foods were good, spicy and saucy, although not outstanding. Service was friendly.

I have traveled to over 40 countries, and the worst food I’ve ever eaten was at this restaurant. First of all, it’s not an Indian 🇮🇳 restaurant; it’s owned by Bangladeshis 🇧🇩. Today, I visited the restaurant and ordered chicken tikka masala with two naans. After waiting for 10 minutes, the food arrived at my table. I noticed the naan was cold, but I still ate one. Shortly after, I felt sick because something was wrong with the naan. I asked the owner why the naan was cold and what was wrong with it. He admitted it was made in the morning and served to me at 3 PM! I told him I didn’t want the second naan. To make matters worse, the chicken tikka masala was below average and cost me 18 euros. The owner didn’t even offer to waive the cost of the uneaten naan. This was the worst dining experience ever! In Helsinki, you can enjoy an entire buffet for 12 euros, yet I paid 18 euros for terrible food. Let me repeat: this is not an Indian 🇮🇳 restaurant; it’s owned by Bangladeshis 🇧🇩!

Ordered chicken korma and garlic beef masala to take home today. It was hands down best Indian food I've ever tasted! Very tasty and spicy, and meat was so tender and soft.... Highly recommended!

The Lamb curry was okay, the Naan was splendid, the yogurt sauce was excellent. Ambience and service was good.

Had lunch before and came back for the bistro menu. All dishes and wine pairings were superb, the steak tartare was nailed. Staff was very attentive and kind as well. Would recommend for a nice dining experience on special occasions.

Service was a bit underwhelming. While I was still eating my bread, the butter was taken away. Food in general was alright, nothing special. The main dish was a bit plain to me. There were fries but not sauce so it was very dry to eat the fries.

Really wonderful atmosphere, great food taste, good quantity. One of the finest restaurants in Tapiola. I am vegetarian so I ate Vegetarian food and it was very nice. I recommend it if someone else is paying for it because it's also very expensive.😂

Dont go there! Unfroendly service, poor quality for the price. Saturday early evening, rservation for 8 people, got the table in the dark, near entrance, though the restaurant was nearly empty. Food way overpriced, e.g. deserts 8-14€, the high end small and on factory based hard cups.

Really slow service, some foods got delivered wrong and with delay. Food was good but nothing special. Clean, open and cozy interior. Gluten free options available. What was nice for bigger parties are the round tables. Not worth the money.

Entered out of curiosity, AND curiosity killed the cat (the cat being Me). I WAS Looking forward to a nice central or mid-northern grill food, but instead got something wanting to resemble American grill, sauced up, and 30 mins later came out looking almost the same.

The Rolls-Royce of traditional Finnish grills. You get the usual selection of hamburgers, meat pies and grill plates (like the sausage potatoes - makkaraperunat!). Don't expect to get the greatest meat you've ever had or the finest looking portions, but some premium grilled fast food. The burger that I took, Pohjanmaan Kateus, was absolutely huge and had everything you could think of, but still everything worked together well to make a greasy fantasy come true. Muumilimu of course topped the portion nicely. There were the traditional 2dl milk cartons available too! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are little bit higher maybe than in a normal kiosk, but very much worth it.

Ambience-4/5 Taste-4/5 A nice and cosy place, neighborhood grilli. Cool owner and good food. Chicken wings use the siipiweikot sauce and was nicely cooked. Didn't have the chicken stench, so +1 for that. Fries were also crispy and the grill seasoning was good. Will go back again to try some burgers.

This place has to be (in my opinion), one of the most "interesting" places I have been, was not expecting a posh grill place, even with this extremely interested name, the selection process has to be well thought, or take the risk as I did, even though described in some detail, NOT EQUAL to the delivered items The toasted bread was nice, only iceberg lettuce for the fill, and typical grill sauces (curry-mayo and sweet chilli). Chicken "grilled dry" and dry, and the tasteless "pulled pork" covered by the chili sauce and mayo, and BBQ sauce. Did not get any pork flavour.

Food is excellent and the service is friendly. My personal favourite is the grillit huurussa hampurilainen and jokapoika

Feels like countryside finland dishes are "small" in comparison to Forssan aikapoika and comparables, but in capital area it is closest you can get the finnish classic trucker food

It is a streetside grill, so don't expect Michelin cuisine. With that said, the taste is exceptional. The basic recipes are roughly the same as every other "snägäri", but somehow better made. Worth a visit for sure.

In my opinion the best pizza, rolls and salad place in Espoo the customer service is perfect and the place is beautiful. You feel the quality of the ingredients in every bite. It's a great chance to have such a good restaurant in this small neighborhood.

Crispy pizza made with great ingredients. I've tried most of the vegetarian options and they are all great, including the Vöner roll option. Price is good especially at lunchtime. The service is always very polite and the atmosphere is relaxed with calm music in the background.

Maybe I had too much expectations? But I think the pizza was pretty much similar than the pizza with 6-8 € price. Spoiled with too much mayonnaise on the top.

A good place for american style eating. Quality of food is good, tastes freshly made and also having a twist in traditional bbq dishes. Special sauces, innovative side orders and wide beer selection also with craft beers. Only bit negative side is the location, and feel of the shopping centre. Note also early closing times. Worth the cost.

Fabulous burgers! Just the way I like it: burnt and smoked. We also had mac&cheese but it was quite mushy and tasted like flour, didn’t taste like cheddar unfortunately. Hence only 4 stars. They have an impressive beer selection too! The sauces were self made and they definitely topped the experience. Attentive and friendly service. Best burgers of the year? My partner says so. 🎄/5

The food was average, nothing special. The fries weren’t cooked enough so they weren’t crispy at all or brownish. The vegan burger was delicious though, just a little dry without sauce.

Having dinner buffet in there on Valentine's Day, smoked pork neck and sweet potato chips. The meat was quite tasteless, too dry and cold also, but the sauce was pretty good. Potato was also dry, maybe stayed longer hours on serving trolley. Available salad was also nice. Pricing was quite middle range, maybe bit above. Not so nice dining experience but maybe this was only cook's bad day.

Average Finnish lunch restaurant in public area - main course is Ok, dry chicken, strange tho typical dessert and coffee of average canteen quality. You get what you paid for and nothing complicated or customised.

I really liked the location, the food was great and the staff was very kind. The prices were quite high and didn't include sides, so if you want fries with your steak you need to pay extra. While leaving I noticed the restaurant had a very nice looking terrace that wasn't being used despite the hot and sunny weather.

Great BBQ food. Everything is prepared well for, and lunch does offer good value. Sometimes lunch is a bit hit & miss, but give the place another chance - they usually deliver on it. Especially during summer season the location works. During dinner - I have not had anything but positive experiences here. Personal favorite is the Pastrami Burger. Brisket is great also, but they vary the menu from time to time and during summer there might be different options. Try them out :)

This is a very good Nepali restaurant. The food was delicious and well-balanced, and the level of spiciness was clearly indicated on the menu. I really enjoyed my meal, and before the main dishes arrived, they served a special bread with a tasty sauce, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was calm and clean, and the staff were polite and professional, though not particularly friendly. The prices were affordable, and since the restaurant is located inside Iso Omena, you can easily use the shopping center’s parking, so parking is not an issue. Overall, a great place to enjoy flavorful Nepali food.

Foods were delicious and the customer service was awesome. We tried chicken korma, lamb masala, prawn pakora, chicken sadeko and kulfi (dessert). Lamb masala and chicken sadeko were the best.☺️ Prawn pakora could have been little crunchy. It's one of the best Nepalese restaurant in Finland.

To our family's taste, this is the best Nepalese retaurant in the Helsinki region. We sometimes eat there, but most of the time we take away. Butter chicken and lamb vindaloo are our favorites. The amount of food is very generous, and the naan bread is delicious. The staff is really nice and friendly. I unreservedly recommend this restaurant to families. Great quality.

Our first visit to this restaurant + we ordered chicken pulav and veg kofta, the portions were decent and tasted good but - side dish raita was too small and ordering extra raita is too big to finish (2€ for 2dl) + staff was friendly - I dont recommend kulfi, it had insufficient taste and icy texture instead of creamy. - dessert was brought while we were eating. I told the waiter that it's too early, the icecream will melt and I was told that kitchen is closed. It was 20:40. + Naan bread was soft, not too oily and tasted good + cozy environment - we asked for ginger tea without milk and sugar, but received lukewarm sweet cardamom tea with no trases of ginger taste + the place looked clean Total bill for 2 dishes, extra raita, 1 dessert and 1 tea was around 40€

Place is not so clean, specially when you step inside it's a lot of rock under the rubber carpet. Food not so good and sushi without taste.

Okay and basic chinese restaurant. Expect some okayish sushi and different sauces with interesting spices. The restaurant actually combines the chinese and Thai cuisines adding sushi and adjusting everything into Finnish mild taste. Interesting combo but serves something for everyone. Don't expect any authentic tastes.

This Jufu restaurant is near my building. Inside, it looks nice and cozy. The buffet is a standard one which comes with sushi, salad, and many Chinese/Thai maincourse food that you can find anywhere in Helsinki capital. Price is reasonable. - Sushi: basic types, not professional, stuffed with pretty much rice. (If you're suddenly craving for sushi but so lazy to go further, this can be a temporary option). - Salad: basic options (mix fresh salad, canned fruits, olive, etc.) - Maincourse: all of them are tasty, except 2 beef dishes used frozen beef and it tastes not really nice). - Coffee is included in the price. Soft drinks needed to order separately. They have also A la carte menu, I'd come back to try them next time.

The sushi is terrible, avoid it. The soups are usually bad. The rest of the buffet is pretty good. The fried chicken, beef and spring rolls are always very nice.

Flat food. No taste to it all. The sushi was sitting there too long. It got airdried. the salmon on the other hand was even worse slimy:/ Over all looked like the food was done in extremly low budget. No authentic taste to it what so ever. Also The owner and their family was socializing on the dining area taking three whole tables. Their kid was doing homework. Didn't feel I walked to a restraunt, more like someone's home, don't know if that's a good thing.. I won't ever go there again. And would not recommend it to you.

In general, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the restaurant. The staff members were exceptionally nice and friendly. They offered a diverse selection of sushi, hot meals, and salads. I particularly enjoyed the dessert section. However, I found the food to be slightly saltier than my personal preference, and I noticed that the salads were not as fresh as I had hoped.

Paid 22+ euros for buffet. The only edible hot dish was the fried shrimp. Sushi was ok, tasted the same as they sell in Prisma. Overall for that price it's better to pick a different restaurant.

The lunch buffet had a variety of options including sushi, rice, hot meals, soup, coffee and dessert. The dinning experience was made pleasant by the kind and welcoming staff. I would give this restaurant 3 stars the reason being that the sushi fish wasn't very fresh.

I love this place. Delicious Japanese food buffet in a nice restaurant. Reasonable priced.

It was horrified experience. Utensils were broken. Glasses had stains. No markings were made over the dishes for clarification. No extra tissues were available. Overall for the price, I expected more better customer service.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Not your traditional Finnish hangover pizzas, but real quality. The place is a bit bland and in the middle of nowhere but don't let that fool you. If you want GOOD Italian pizza at really reasonable price in Helsinki, this is the place to visit. Apparently the coffee is excellent as well.

Very friendly service. Pizzas are really very tasty and portions are more than enough. Wide range if pizza variety. You can place order by just a text massage. On Fridays and weekends you have to place order way before closing time, otherwise you won't get your pizza, Means there's toooo long line of orders. Anyways on regular days you get your pizza order ready in 15-20min.

This is probably handsdown the best restaurant in the whole of Espoo. Delicate meals with fresh ingredients, professional staff and a very beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Works well for both business lunches as well as romantic dinners. The food is exceptionally good.

Nice 120 year old building in the middle of compartment buildings. Cozy and small, not built originally as an restaurant. Great service and great food.

Overall everything was good, the bread a bit salty but in a good way, the food was good quality and the combination of everything was good.

I tried the 3-course lunch. Overall it was good. I like the main and dessert. Starter was okay. My friend couldn’t handle the starter as the taste was a bit overwhelming. Also, at the time I went, it was super noisy since there was a construction nearby. It was really difficult to talk and enjoy the lunch in this nice villa.

This Wednesday it was quite a disappointing lunch. Smoked salmon pasta was basic and plane, only pesto was nice. Portion is quite small. And considering that nothing additionally includes beside bread in the lunch, price is too hight for meal. I am only rating the meal, because we had it as take away. I might assume that experience might be better if having lunch at the place because of atmosphere.

The restaurant we discovered and visited late on Thursday evening made us very happy! I was delighted both by the friendly service and the delicious food we enjoyed in such a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for making our evening beautiful. We will definitely visit again.

My husband and I just had our wedding here. The views are gorgeous, staff is amazing (shout out to Henri and Veera), our guests are still talking about the food. We had the summer islands menu which features various fish and vegetable combos but both my and my husband families visited on various occasions and everything ordered was delicious. For our event we also appreciated the recommended wine pairings. Finally Paven works with/coordinates with Teemu Aura so we went that route for our wedding cake. Again this was efficient, delicious, and one less thing as a crazy bride I had to deal with. 100% would recommend this venue for a special occasion.

Food was mostly good and the atmosphere is great. However, the main courses were delivered to half of the entourage 10 minutes earlier than the rest. And we were not by any means there on any rush hour. When finally served, the bouillabaisse was barely warm (although quite good tasting nevertheless). On top of that, the kids' fries were overly salted (like double what it's normally). Trout was great though. If this was an average bistro it could be ok but considering the prices, I was expecting clearly better.

Really casual nice place for boaters. Ate all the starters as Tapas dishes. Was really nice. Good service. Only bigger minus from long wait to be seated.

The lamb chops were seasoned beautifully and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. They were so tender and juicy. A very high-quality main course that I would order again in a heartbeat.

The pizza here is out of this world! We tried the Diavola and it was perfectly spicy with a crispy crust. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Best pizza I've had in Espoo in a long time.

The place looks very humble from the outside but is very lovely and inviting from the inside. I ordered the fish and chips and the food was mouth watering! It was very delicious. One thing I should say if you plan on coming here with someone with limited mobility, there is just a staircase up to the restaurant. But would a 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. The place is good for children as well. There is a playroom for them. The food is also well priced!

My friends recommended this place as a cool place with decent food and affordable prices. Well... I'm a pizza fan and ordered an "oma valinta" pizza with mushroom, Halloumi, feta, and Mozzarella. This combination was nice. I recommend it to everyone. But, the pizza was of low/average quality and did not worth the price.

Cozy place, good food and friendly staff. Recently been renovated / redecorated. Pizza oven now closer to the customers and clearly an added capacity to the kitchen. The buffet doesn't include pizza slices anymore. However, one hardly misses them as the buffet seems to be even better than before. The buffet price is a positive surprise, at least to me...

Saw their car in front of our building. Out of curiosity I checked what is this restaurant as it didn't sound like a typical kebab shop. From the website I could see that the menu is a bit extraordinary. Ordered the Fågeli roll with a coke. Home delivery was very fast, small disappointment that the coke didn't come with the delivery. But it didn't matter as the kebab roll was heavenly! Seriously the best in Finland.

I just left the restaurant, leaving the kana burger (chicken burger) without eating it because it was not edible at all. I have had bad experiences but this was the worst of them all. The chicken made me puke, smelled and tasted like rotten chicken. I could barely have one bite. This was my first and the last time I ever visited. The food literally made me sick in my stomach. Criminal.

Absolutely disappointing service with the online ordering. Why there’s a box for more details (lisatietoja) if the employees are too busy to read the full order? Not only we waited for our pizzas for almost an hour, the pizza was completely swamped in the cheese. Also asked to call when the deliverer was behind the door so our kid wouldn’t wake up because of the door bell. Nah, not a good service. Any improvements? Well, either remove the box about more details on your website (which by the way could be updated) or simply read the orders completely like in every other restaurants. And no, being busy is not an excuse if one lacks the ability to read. Edit// the replacement pizza was delivered in an half an hour. It was also lacking the pizza sauce, it was dry and it was one of the most unpleasant pizzas I’ve eaten.

Salad options were nice, but the mains were rather bland. The pizzas were nice and thin, but the toppings were not of good quality. Mainly caters to Finnish taste.

I saw the mixed reviews about this restaurant and decided to check it out myself together with my fiancé. We were lucky, as when we went there, there were no other customers yet, so we got to pick our table and didn’t have to wait long for our orders. All the tables seemed to be a bit sticky? I guess from the ramen’s broth? I felt a bit yacky touching it. The staff was friendly. There was a new girl operating the register, so it took her a bit time. But no complains there. The takoyaki tasted a bit like the frozen ones you can buy at any Asian store. Tastes okay, but a bit expensive for just 4 balls. I ordered the chicken ramen. The meat was the best part of the dish. I don’t have any complains, but not any particular praises either. My fiancé got the karaage and the original Tonkotsu ramen. The karaage he seemed to like, but as far as for the ramen, he was disappointed. He did compliment the meat though, and the egg was okay. The broth was disappointing, and a bit bland. The noodles weren’t so good either. The good thing is, that we found the dishes a good size. We weren’t hungry after finishing them. The price of the main dishes are not so bad, but the side dishes are a bit on the pricey side. Overall, if you don’t feel like making these dishes yourself, I guess it’s worth a try, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back here ourselves.

I had my first visit to Momo Toko today, and I can say with complete confidence that I will be coming back. There are menu's in both Finnish and English. I ordered the Original Tonkotsu Ramen dish and it included pork belly, 1/2 soy stained egg, sugar snap peas, sweetcorn, seaweed, and garnished with rocket salad leaves. The broth was delicious and not salty. The pork meat was cooked to perfection as it just fell apart and melted in my mouth. Also it was served with a little side salad with a Miso tasting dressing. I very much enjoyed my meal. The staff were very friendly and they greeted me as I entered, and thanked me as I left. The price was also good at 15.50 €. The restaurant was very clean and had lots of seating. Chopsticks were reusable plastic ones they was so also environmentally conscious. When you're next in ISO Omena and looking for a place to eat, don't hesitate and eat at Momo Toko!

This place is legit. Spicy pork miso 10/10. Teriyaki donburi 10/10. Gyoza 10/10. Kimchi 8/10, sweeter than I've had but it grew on me, really good. Really friendly service. Excellent portion for the money. Overall, 10/10.

Food was delicious and staff very friendly and nice. We ate during the syö week during Monday evening with no many people, service was very fast. I would recommend this place without any doubt! There is a good variety od dishes and prices are okay, maybe just a bit high.

A more refined option if you are fed up of other mediocre Chinese restaurants in the area. The menu is very minimalistic with an emphasize on dim sum. However I don't find their dim sums particularly great. The main dishes that we tried (lemon chicken and caramelized fried beefs) are overly sweet that they almost taste like desserts. The portion is a bit small for the price.

A great place to try dim sums and other Chinese dishes. Everything was well-seasoned and authentic, although the har gau’s skin should have been chewier, instead of starchy. The seaweed salad reminded me of the time living in China! Besides dim sum, we ordered the Beef in chilli oil from their recommendation menu. It was the highlight of the meal- very flavorful, spicy and numbing from Sichuan peppercorn- exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely visit again for this dish and to try others. Highly recommend!

Decent Sichuan food and not often found in other Chinese restaurants in Finland. Not as spicy as they claim. Might be for Finnish though.

We came at 19h after work. The place looks nice for a restaurant inside a mall. We ordered tofu rolls and wonton. The staff is polite and fast. Compared with other restaurants in Espoo, I would put a 4, since the presentation of the food and products were good. But my final score is comparing to Helsinki restaurants. The wonton didn't had much flavour, and the broth didn't felt good enough to drink it alone. I think it is a good restaurant for espoo, with a good variety of dishes, but not worth the ride if you come from Helsinki. By far the best wonton I eat in Finland is in 16Boom secret menu in Helsinki, sadly only happens from time to time.

Popomama’s menu is large and diverse. Hesitating, I decided to go for a set that has everything. Each of 9 pieces tasted splendid. And the presentation was remarkable. In addition, I truly enjoyed the welcoming service and a great selection of teas (doesn’t happen too often in Finland). Nevertheless, I don’t feel that this place was worth to me the ride from the other end of the city. However, I noticed a lot of people visiting on a lunch break. So I guess if you are living or working nearby, Popomama is a decent option.

The food was very savoury and naturally spiced, absolutely delicious. If you want authentic chinese food this would be my recommendation Menu had a large selection of dishes to choose from, the dumplings and their sauce were our favourite

just ok food but poor service. i got mapo doufu and found out a plastic clipping from most possibly toufu packing the waiter can only say “cannot believe it “ I not even hear a sorry neither from waiter nor from the kitchen. This is really amazing this happens in Finland .

I specially enjoyed their Shrimp Biriyani that was very tasty with incredible yammy flavour. With my high interest, recommend all to taste this. It seems to me that Cook is so much talented. Staffs are also so friendly with customers and neighbours.

I had one of the best Indian food in Finland! I never thought that they will have Indian cuisine but I was surprised with the authentic taste of Indian food here! Must try, they are also on Wolt nowadays 😋

I came in for a late lunch today. The place was empty at this time. I ordered a mix buffet (medium spicy). I got rice, salad, raita, naan and 2 dishes of my choice. The naan and rice were prepared well. The non veg tikka masala was tasty, but the shahi paneer was a bit bland. Overall a decent meal for the price. The staff were nice and helpful.

The food is delicious and the service is impeccable(welcoming, friendly etc.). Went there for dinner on two consecutive days and I wasn't disappointed 😊

We ordered chicken korma and butter chicken. Both gravies were good but there were only a little amount of chicken. Salad was small and the lettuce has withered. Naan was not included. Slow service. If you’re hungry for an Indian food dinner, eat somewhere else.

Awful place, initially looks comfy but upon closer inspection is dirty. Food is made of low quality, frozen ingredients, instead of toasting the hamburger buns they heat them in a microwave oven. Burger was dry and unseasoned, no fries or cheese in the burger. Will not return or recommend.

The one and only

I've noticed that most buffets have changed due to the increasing cost of ingredients. However, Itsudemo continues to offer a wide variety of options and maintain the taste. During my last visit here for a late lunch, the sushi rice was a bit dry, but now it tastes good. The hot meals are also delicious, and they've reduced the oil in the vegetables. However, the baby corn is a bit sour. But overall the food is satisfying.

Quite good mix Japanese and other Asian food buffet. Food taste fresh and deep fried dishes were not too dry neither greasy. I will be back here.

The place itself is very polite and there is plenty of space. The food is very tasty and the selection is okay. The price is expensive! And even drinks were not included! 20 euros per adult on the weekend. I know places that are cheaper and better. So the price could be much friendlier!

Very good sushi buffet. There is always a trade off with these kinds of places with better sushi or better other asian dishes. This has great sushi. Lovely ice cream bar (even had lactose free ice cream) along with the other desserts. 9/10, would go again 👍

The buffet is really good and for 14.50€ + 1.50€ for drinks with refills. There are a wide variety of food including deserts and high quality sushi. I come here with my mom every month and it's worth every penny.

Food: quite okay, nothing surprising, similar like other buffet. Service: we arrive after 8pm and we paid normal price. There were two people arriving just after us and we heard the stuff said that they got 20% discount because it’s after 8pm. So why do we need to pay full price? The other restaurants will always ask us if we need to take more food before they start to clean the buffet area. But here they just started cleaning without asking, removing some food and all water drinks at 8.30, even restaurant should be open until 9. I checked two coffee cup and all of them are dirty. The only atmosphere I felt is they are hurry to get off from work. I was so disappointed as I saw it had a quite good google rate.

We have been getting sushi takeout for our family of four from Itsudemo Nihtisilta every now and then for years - since before Wolt was an option. The sushi is simply excellent, fresh, cool, tasty, and fairly traditional (for Finland). The service is professional and friendly. They could have more staff, though, the place has always been busy when one of us has picked up our order. The reason we don't get takeout from Nihtisilta more often is the distance: we live around 10 km (6 miles) away, so when one of us can fetch the food on their way home from work or errands is this really practical for us. A couple of times we have made the drive, though, just because we like their sushi so much. The environment is nicer than one would expect of what is basically a gas station, but not much above a generic fast food place. Still, if sushi is your focus and not the ambiance, I warmly recommend it.

Service is good. Portion sizes are decent. Both pasta carbonara and pasta arrabiata had no flavour. Maybe try something else than pasta?

Nice Pizzaria place with fitting italian ambiente. Nothing too fancy but solid and they even have pork "schnitzel" and "jägerschnitzel" on the menu, which is a plus for me. 😊 Do try their home made tiramisu!!!

This is the best place in Espoo to find a great pizza. As I am gluten free I wasn’t sure whether they would have an option. But they did and it was amazing! It actually had air bubbles which when eating gluten-free is hard to find on a pizza base!! Would 100% recommend !!

Clean. Tasty. Portion not small. French potatoes was not too salty, that's good. Friendly, polite staff. Prices for lunch including salad of vegetables around 10 euros. Good place to eat and quit.
