One of the best tasting and authentic Thai restaurants we enjoyed. We shared the mixed starter platter with crispy spring rolls and fried chicken. Curry and rice noodles were very good as well as the duck. Liked the Thai Ice coffee and tea. Would visit again for sure!

I've visited many Thai restaurants in many parts of the world, but this one was a surprise. The food was nothing short of excellent... so much so that a return visit was necessary on my short business trip. The ambiance is nice (both below ground and on their outdoor tables). The service was great. Both of the dishes I tried were lovely (especially after asking for an extra level of spice... British tastes seem spicier than the locals are used to, but even the "standard" spice level is very good). The restaurant was actually very happy to crank up the heat a bit for me to be even more authentic. I will most certainly be visiting again next time I'm in Fulda.

My experience started from a very pushy and unreliable male waiter, continued with waiting for a very long time for a very simple dish that was not only badly cooked but also salty to the point of being inedible, and ended with paying a very high price. I honestly don't know where this high rating came from. I think the salt is part of their scheme to sell overpriced water. What they write on the menu is also lower than what they actually charge, because they don't include tax on it. When I asked they were very sarcastic about it, explaining to me what tax is. Honestly, trust me and don't go. It is not nice to experience all the unhappiness and anger in such a place on your holiday.

As others have mentioned, I agree that it’s a very unpleasant experience if you dare to ask them if they have a table without a reservation. I kindly asked if it’s better to reserve (next time) and got a ‘you SHOULD HAVE reserved’. It doesn’t make you want to come back with a reservation. I understand if there is no tables, but if you send me away, you can do it respectfully.

Visited during a business trip with a group of colleagues. Limited choice of food, but excellent quality. For dinner I had "Zwei Filets von der Ehrenberger Rhönforelle"- the fillet was excellently prepared and the side dishes offered a truly surprising combination of flavors that I enjoyed very much.

Whitout doubt the best food in the whole of Fulda! It's an old school Restaurant with a classical design and at the same time it has young engaging waiters/waitresses as well as a menu with fantasy for a special balance between old and new. Wide wine selection with some wonderful examples. It may seem pricey at first but it's only in it's league compared to other a la carte restaurants. I definitely recommend it.

The restaurant has 3 different area's to sit which makes it very cosy. 2 things that need to change: 1) get a real/good coffee machine. 2) fix/upgrade the gentleman's toilet. It looks like it is falling apart.

If you want to try vegetarian food this one of the best places to go. The food is very tasty and unusual. The waitresses are young and friendly. Because of the small size of the restaurant the atmosphere is very cosy and welcoming. Although I have to mansion that twice we found other guests who found e.g. hair in their food. But for this service was excellent and they changed the food free of charge.

I had an amazing experience. The restaurant is very central, literally at the train station. It’s really pretty- the decoration is classy. We had our meal outdoors and it was very neat. The stewards are very friendly and funny - my friends and I took great pleasure in ordering. The burgers were really very succulent and the house fries are very tasty too. I definitely recommend I had the raspberry limonade. I loved it because it was not as sweet as the usual home made limonades I will definitely be coming back ☺️

The burger itself was painfully average , nothing you couldn’t get at a late-night street stand, yet dressed up in pretentious packaging and an inflated price tag. The service was equally underwhelming: cold, dismissive, and bordering on rude. For a place positioning itself as “high-end,” there’s a stark disconnect between the branding and the actual experience. What’s presented as premium dining feels more like a glorified döner shop with better lighting and a hipster playlist. If you’re chasing substance over style, you might want to keep walking.

Burgers! Good ones! Lots of options like double triple or more, huge selection of veggie burgers, and a surprising choice of sauces for every taste. Even habanero sauces (I love that). Medium done as a burger should be. Belgian style fries. Waiters are very attentive and kind. Ambient relaxed and very very fast service.

Perfect for a quick bite and drink while waiting for your train. Located directly next to the main train stations. They have great burgers, drinks and also lemonade. Outside terrace in front of the restaurant.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining in the Restaurant Goldener Karpfen this week. I had heard the restaurant has a good reputation for food, and this did not disappoint. Pictured here is the risotto with salmon and cod fillets, and the picture does not do it justice. Others in the group has the beef cheek (amazing) and the wild garlic pasta with shrimp (also recommended) and the boiled beef (probably a little less recommended than the rest). Prices were on the high side eg it was €30 for my dish, but the sheer quality of the food made up for the star I would have removed based on price otherwise. I would highly recommend based on this experience.

In Fulda Restaurants fall into two categories: 1) Karpfen, 2) Everyone else. So of course you pay a little bit extra to eat at the place that’s been the No. 1 for decades.

A fantastic, quaint hotel right in the centre of Fulda. The room was spacious and well presented, beautiful bathroom and wonderful view from the third floor. Quiet location despite being central but one or two little oddities dropped it 1 star, namely the lack of irons in the rooms (you have to bring your clothes to reception and they will iron for you the following day) and the very slow bar service. Perhaps this is typical of German hotels, if so ignore this and assume a full 5 stars. Otherwise, everything else was on a very high level and could not find fault, will be back

Nice hotel in the center of Fulda. The town is lovely. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Bed is comfortable. Maybe the temperature in the room is too high. The hotel has got a elegant restaurant where you can taste good food. Personal is helpful. It has a garage (not free) and a parking place which is free of charge.

The first thing that caught my attention as soon as I entered this cafe was the cafe's beauty and the taste in its design. The small pink pigs and the beautiful phrases written on the wall are so cute. I had a latte and cheesecake, both of which were very delicious. There is a wide variety of cakes available. The atmosphere of this cafe feels really nice. Prices are reasonable, and the service is also very good and friendly.

All around great place. The food is nothing spectacular, but it’s great compared to the price. Classic cuisine with great produce. It got the truffle pasta, which although it was a starter they just made it a main course. The pasta was great and you could taste that it was fresh. The truffle was brined and not fresh, but it’s was still good. Overall great place but nothing special.

I was amazed with the tenderness and well seasoned steak. After growing up in Texas, I expect good steak, but this was a great steak. The special they had was crusted with a herb blend that made each savory morsel fill your mouth with excitement! My wife tried their smoked wings, which fell apart in your mouth. The lemon garlic flavor was not overpowering and well balanced. We had to share our meals with each other to get the full experience. The staff was so friendly and very engaging with all the customers. The jokes are great, you have to say you are 5 years old so you get free ice cream at the end. 😉 😋 We have put this place on our roadside attraction list, so next time, we are passing through Fulda.

My ribeye steak was cooked next to us to absolute perfection which was tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. We sampled a variety of appetizers and soups, each one better than the last. This was the most amazing Cafe and one of the best finds on our vacation. Large assortment of fresh desserts and pastries that were to die for. They were so light and delicious. Also has an adorable place to sit. They were so nice to deal with even though we didn't speak any German.

This Cafe was disappointing on my side but was good for my boyfriend. I ordered a Stracciatella milk shake that was very liquidy. It wasn't done well at all. My boyfriend ordered Green Tea and a little fruit cake. He enjoyed the taste of both. Overall the restaurant was very outdated, but had a wide variety of cake selections that looked divine.

La Romantica Ristorante Pizzeria Fulda delivered one of the most disappointing dinning experiences I’ve ever had. As a lover of Italian cuisine, I was expecting a delightful meal, but what we received was far from it. We ordered Aglio e Olio, a classic dish that should be simple yet flavourful. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. The pasta was undercooked and lacked any semblance of flavour. There was barely any olive oil, and the garlic, which should have been the star, was raw and overpowering. It was as if the chef simply tossed raw ingredients together and called it a day. Next, we tried the Bruschetta, hoping for a refreshing appetizer. What arrived was a sad plate of raw, flavorless tomatoes piled on stale bread. There was no seasoning, no drizzle of olive oil, and certainly no effort to elevate the dish. The garlic bread, typically a reliable side dish, was inedible. It was hard, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. We couldn't even finish it. Overall, La Romantica failed to deliver on every level. The food was not only tasteless but poorly prepared. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine—or even just a decent meal. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere.

I have to give a bad review even though only ONE of the waiters was so nice that's why I put 3 stars for food but: Ordering a lemonade and having it sold to me as fanta? That's ridiculous, lemonade is water with lemon and fanta is fanta and to be told that fanta means lemonade in Italy? Do they think I've never been to Italy? I got really angry and the waiter who left almost insulting us after leaving the drinks I don't understand why he works there if he hates his job. They didn't offer us a baby seat for the baby we had and another table had a baby seat. They didn't give us the pasta carbonada as it was supposed to be but just gave it to us on a plate while the other table was served right there with the whole service it's a shame I was excited and really wouldn't go back there. My friend was not offered the spoon for her soup I had to give her mine. Enserió if you are so irritated by your job better look for something in the home office. Only one waiter was really nice and I think only if I was served by him would I go back but I don't think I'll ever want to go back.

Fantastic food selection at this Pizzaria/Italian Food Restaurant. The waitor was very patient with some of our foreign colleagues and their wine selection was fantastic, with local and international wines on offer. Food was simply amazing, from their pizzas to their pasta dishes, all members of our group left the restaurant happy. I would have no problem recommending this locations to either business or personal bookings alike.

The Murgh biryani was the best dish I tried—delicious and flavorful with tender chicken. The butter chicken wasn't too spicy, and I think it could be a bit spicier. The gosht tikka and chicken tikka were also delicious with a tender texture and served hot—I was quite satisfied. The service was a bit slow due to fewer waitstaff compared to guests. Improving the ordering process, starting with beverage orders, might help customers decide on the main course. I have tried many Indian dishes, and the spiciness of the food at this restaurant was at the minimum. Personally, I enjoy spicy food, and it wouldn't have bothered me if the dishes were even spicier. We have eaten there at least 10 times. The new Moroccan owners are very nice. The food is not the same as before, possibly different spices. They don't serve alcohol anymore, and we brought a traveller with us, they don't have an English menu.

This restaurant is absolutely recommendable. You have much dishes to choose. On the menu card you can find also vegetarian and vegan meals. Tricky to find is the midday option, where you can eat a Pizza, order a softdrink and hot drink for only 13 Euros. The pizzas are handmaded and baked in a stone stove. The serving of pasta is a little bit small in comparison of the price and also by comparison of the pizzas. The stuff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. On good days you also can sit outside.

This Italian restaurant had the most delicious crust on their pizza and the toppings were so fresh and the flavours were top notch. I've eaten at many Italian restaurants around the world and this is at #1 for me right now. So amazing! The Tiramisu was a bit different than what I'm used to in size and presentation but still very delicious in taste. Definitely recommend 100%

Went there with some friends at a sunday evening. Had a round of cocktails before the food arrived. They arrived super quick and were delicious! As starter we got Onion Rings and a Nacho Plate with extra spicy sauce. The food arrived quickly and was tasty! As Main Course we had quesadillas and the Chumbo Steak which i ordered in Medium-rare. Which actually came in medium rare! 👍 The quesadillas were nice and cheesy with a very good taste. The spicy sauce had a very good spice to it without only tasting hot. The sauce tasted fresh and nice. The Chumbo Steak had a delicious pepper crust which was amazing. Combined with the tender medium meat it was a fireworks of taste! 10/10 The ambience was very fitting and cozy. The music brought us in a good mood and was perfect for the food and ambience. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Especially if you like well spiced and not bland food! 💕

This is not a Mexican restaurant. We ordered chips with tres salsas with additional guacamole and fuego salsa. We didn’t receive the tres salsas and the guacamole was very creamy and appeared pre made. The quesadilla had almost no cheese inside with steamed vegetables and no taste. The vegetables in the Fajitas were bland like those on the quesadilla, almost cold, and the skillet that they came on was not warm at all. I could put my finger on it and there was no heat. No smoke or sizzle you get when the fajitas are delivered hot. Both dishes were full of zucchini and broccoli. No sautéed peppers or onions that always come in Mexican dishes. We took a bite out of each dish and asked for the check. The staff was friendly and offered to not charge us for one entrée. We found another place to have dinner at.

It is such a shame I don't live locally, otherwise I think i'd be there more than once a week! Was also extremely affordable, and I actually would not mind paying more for it.
