This is a lovely historical building beside the park in weisbaden. The restaurant attached is not cheap however the food and service was excellent. Just remember that the city charges 5 euro per day (city tax) to stay in a hotel.

This beautiful building, although it doesn’t look like a casino (closed during Easter weekend), is detailed with such stunning dome shaped ceiling, and grand lobby that it was worth the visit nonetheless. The restaurant in the building was open and has good rating. Right outside this building, you can enjoy a nice walk in the beautiful park like setting with lake.

Visiting the Kurhaus Wiesbaden was the highlight of my day! Historic building in a great city. It was awesome to play roulette with such an interesting group of people. Recommend you check hours and dress code. Entire staff was friendly. Will be back.

Whatever the old purposes maybe. The reason why it's famous now is because of exhibitions and the Casino. The Casino there is definitely one of the biggest in Germany and make sure you are dressed well if you intend to pass inside. Fun too of you are drunk and around this place just go inside to use the toilet. It comes handy trust me

An extremely diverse museum! Ranging from animals, nature, and physics, to jugendstil and expressionism! It even had some contemporary art, and paid tribute to female artists. At the time of visiting there was a great exposition on bees going on. Combining history and art to give a full experience to all audiences.

Wonderful museum with so much to see. Went specifically to see the Ophelia painting, but thoroughly enjoyed all the other art pieces.

Its a easy walk through so you can see everything. Nice to spend 1-2 hours looking around.

The best place to relax…., just take a mat at a sunny day and chills there. Don’t forget to bring coffee and some snacks.

Very well accessible, by bike, hike or by road with a car, nice view and historical marks. As I have been told there is actually a long short wall somewhere nearby over the vineyards, where you can see the whole city, as the forrest and trees actually blocks the view from the Neroberg.

Definitely recommend 👍 this place one of the top attractions and hanging out places within the burden of the scenic beauty from the top is also amazing also the George and small architectural joints through your way on mesmerizing. Also the connectivity to neroberg is super easy From Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof 🚉 using bus 🚌 1 and get off at the last or second last stop. The walk to the top of the hill is steep but not too difficult. You can also take the train to hilltop if traveling doing summers because the drain does not operate from November till March. You can also plan you will be there at that sunset or sunrise for some amazing pictures of the view. Carry some food, drinks 🍷 for a small picnic. There’s also a Café and restaurant at the top of the hill however it was closed when we went.

Neroberg is a hill very close to the city center. It has a temple, a restaurant where they serve locally produced wine, Nerbergbahn, plenty of place for kids to play -including Kletterwald, a small pond and a Russian Church. All are lovely and worth a visit. One can easily spend half a day here.

If you want to have a great view of Wiesbaden then go to the neroberg. You can see over all of Wiesbaden. There is an small tram that goes all the way up. Its fun to ride it, i would suggest to take the standing places at the back if you have the stomach for it. It takes you up in a steep climb. On the Neroberg is a restaurant, a russian orthodox church, swimmingpool and a nice view.

Nice place to spend weekend with family. Toy train and the dirt trail back is really nice. Train operates from March to October only. On top of the hill, you can enjoy the food at the restaurant or a swim at opel bad. Visit the Russian church. One can take the train, or car or walk all the way. People come here for pre wedding shoot as well. There is kletterwlad for young ones.

Fresh and comfortable hills with beautiful views and comfortable place. You can enjoy your time with your family or children. There’s also playground that you can enjoy with your kids or your partner together in the little forest. There’s also some restaurants if you’re getting hungry or you can having small picnic and hiking in there. The interesting things is they have some place and statues with interesting history about it.

Kurpark is a wonderful park located in the city of Wiesbaden. I love walking in the park everyday. It brings me joy, rest and peace every time. The variety of flowering trees and fauna is awesome. Oh I forgot to mention a few lakes and creeks you would find there as well. If you are in the Wiesbaden area do not miss the opportunity to take a walk and you will become convinced that you will be having the greatest opportunity to walk in the best park the city of Wiesbaden has to offer.

This park was a highlight of my trip to Europe. It is stunning and filled with people who are enjoying life. The beer garden set- ups where you can get food and drink are such a nice addition. The Casino is pretty. Keep walking and you reach the city alleys of hundreds of shops and restaurants.

Well, this park is just lovely! Ducks, birds, and so many glorious sounds from the wildlife, calling this home. Right in Weisbaden, so easy access to so much. Pretty paths, benches to relax. I noticed everyone there, was just soaking in the beautiful serenity of this park. The ducks was quite entertaining to watch..could sit there all day 🦆 loved it

The Germans know how to make a kurpark! We loved visiting the local city parks when we have traveled in western Europe and this one was no exception. We got up early due to jet lag and were walking before the city came alive for the day. Our hotel was right near the park so we walked the bowling green with the pretty statues and fountains. I’m a garden gal and the plants and layout was just lovely! There was a wide and level walking and biking trail that is ADA accessible. Most of the other people up that time were locals getting their exercise by jogging, biking or walking the dog. It was a very safe place—no vagrants, hardly any trash or tagging. No bathrooms open though. Many of the trails were along the houses which were extremely beautiful and well-kept which added to the ambiance of the park.

This park is awesome, there's a lot to do from picnicking, play balls, exercise 🏃‍♂️ walking🚶‍♂️ badminton 🏸 relax on the bench , paddle boating 🛶 🚢 play music, and so much more. I love this place. I will be coming here everyday while I'm staying in Germany. People are mindful, love watching them doing their own thing.

Top of the mountain is a very nice place for a picnic. The ride was pleasant! Try to get an outside standing spot because the cart is hot inside. Overall a very nice experience.

Great little open air trip up to the top of Wiesbaden, Germany!!! About 8 minutes to get to the top, and the same coming back down the trolley. The sights and adventures at the top is well worth the trip for sure!!!💯🙏😍🙏💯

It was a nice scenic quick trip up the hill. Next time we will ride up and walk the trail through the forest back down. I enjoyed the tiny museum as well.

The Nerobergbahn in Wiesbaden is an excellent choice for a unique and memorable experience. Great value for money: The ticket price is incredibly reasonable for the enjoyment it provides. Unique and historic: As a water-powered funicular, it's a fascinating and rare piece of engineering that adds a special charm to the ride. Stunning views: The panoramic vistas of Wiesbaden and the surrounding area from the top of Neroberg are absolutely beautiful and well worth the trip. This charming railway is a must-do for anyone visiting Wiesbaden.

Historical Tram which operates with waterpower and gravityforce. There are Limited places to stay at the front and enjoy the View while riding uphill.

What an experience! Very beautiful inside interior almost like being in the ancient Roman times. I very much enjoyed the facilities of the Aukammtal a day prior (on Monday) but Kaiser-Friedrich was my favorite because of its beauty and uniqueness. I found Kaiser-Friedrich smaller but also much less crowded and more tranquil. I visited both on the women’s day. The male staff in Kaiser was less intrusive and discrete (while a lot of male staff walking around in Aukammtal). The price was 15 eur in Kaiser with 2.50 eur for each extra 15 min. The Aukammtal was 25 eur for the unlimited time. The Aukammtal had many food options while Kaiser has a smaller bar. The Aukammtal is bigger and have facilities outside which is also lots of fun. The Kaiser had very hot baths where in the Aukammtal it was not very hot. Both great places, but in the end I love the Roman history and the beautiful interior won my heart. The only wish is that there were men’s and women’s days or hours more frequently. Having a mixed bath is not my thing so it’s sad that I have to wait for a week to visit again.

The water is beneficial for the treatment of rheumatism and other orthopedic diseases, as well as for general health. Swimsuits are prohibited in this area 🫣

Really beautiful inside! The steam room was incredible....SO HOT AND STEAMY!!! Great sauna. I went on Ladies Day (women only) but strangely there are fully clothed men walking around the Bath and in the locker room. They are workers there but it is quite strange to be fully named with mem in clothes there. Why not have female workers on Ladies Day? I thought, maybe it is just me...an American, but my German girlfriends agree!

This is the perfect oasis of relaxation and tranquility in the beautiful city of Wiesbaden. Visiting Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme is like stepping back into Roman times with its opulent décor and architecture. The beautiful facility offers a serene and relaxing environment. The friendly staff, clean amenities, and quaint size enhances the overall experience. This is the perfect ambiance for unwinding and rejuvenating after a long day of work or sightseeing. Well priced for the experience. For those who are new to the German notion of Freikörperkultur, bathing attire is not allowed in the spa. On some days the facilities are coed, but Tuesday is ladies only. Don’t forget to bring your own towels and a water bottle.

Very nice thermal complex with several thermal pools, some saunas and one steam bath. Both the Aufguss in the sauna and the salt scrub in the steam bath were lovely. We visited on Eastern Sunday and it was not very crowded. As customary in Germany it is a textile free bath only (no swimming suits allowed). Only downside is that they are extremely strict with the time - we paid for 3 hours, exited the place (after showering and changing) a couple of minutes late and got to pay 2.5eur for an extra 15 minutes.

The fountain smells a bit odd due to the minerals but have never seen a natural thermal fountain like this in Germany! Surrounded by a lot of good cafés and restaurants

The place is a family friendly place and is highly recommended for tourists. There are other nice touristy areas in the surrounding, like the Evangelical marker church and the Kurhaus. It is also near a very old but beautiful hotel.

This fountain looks and smells odd due to the mineral content in the water, but that’s part of the celebration! At this plaza is an interesting children’s playground with beautiful murals of wildlife. This is a very active plaza but we got there early in the morning (don’t you love jetlag).

This is a should go place when you are in Wiesbaden. Easy to find and to park. The palace is next to a huge park where you can enjoy peaceful walk and soak yourself into sunlight during summer day. Definitely love it.

Loved walking around the grounds. They were filming inside so we weren't able to go in. Normally, there is a café that you can eat at inside. A lot of great spots to eat along the Rhine though.

I didn't visit the Palace, (I'm not sure if it's normally possible), but the park is superb. Beautifully laid out, and lovingly kept. I visited in August, and should imagine it's a gem in Autumn. Plenty of free parking on Am Parkfeld.

Wer Interesse muss a Park Behind, Where are a Lewend Playground and Birds and there there was a lot of brides in white wedding dresses and grooms taking photos there seems like really a place to visit and it’s very near to the river so you can also walk by the river. Also there are some statues outside and many different things

Schloss Biebrich is a beautiful palace right on the banks of the Rhine, and it’s one of those places that instantly catches your eye. The building itself is elegant, with its long red façade and lovely gardens that are perfect for a quiet walk or a picnic. It has a calm atmosphere, especially in the evening when the light reflects off the river. Even if you’re not into history or architecture, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Wiesbaden.

Biebrich Palace is awesome! The building looks amazing, and the gardens are super chill. Great spot for a walk or picnic by the river. Definitely check it out if you're in Wiesbaden!

Have never actually went inside the palace itself, but I love taking a walk in the huge park behind it. Beautiful scenery, great for picnics and usually not too crowded. Also nice views of the Rhein.

Great public area with lots of history and vendors. They had an awesome bike check to reduce the congestion.

My friend from Australia and I just Loved strolling through the streets of Wiesbaden, and couldn't have enough of the beauty of it. The architecture, the greenery, the cafes and the tram connectivity added just the right amount of value and comfort to our day. I am happy I didn't miss visiting this. Not every other place I feel like visiting but this one was on my wishlist!

Such a beautiful theatre with an amazing neo-baroque foyer. It displays the old and historic grandeur of pre-war Germany. The performances are fantastic as well and so affordable. If you want to enjoy true European culture it is a must.

Wiesbaden theatre is one of the beautiful theatres. It is elegant and stunning inside. It held amazing shows inside. Had an honours to see the preview of the musical show Follies. This shows will be there till next year. It was amazing 👏 bravo to all the actresses and actors.

very pretty, the opera house is real pretty from the inside. But the snacks during halftime are too expensive... Additionally I personally think that these modern interpretations aren't of to much quality. They embarrassed themselves. They played random animal videos with gold glitter as the background. In the Opera I visited one singer wore a 10 euro amazon jumper with Egyptian pharaohs on it. This didn't fit the theme at all. He was some henchman in "papageno"...

Gorgeous venue! Saw a ballet with orchestra, excellent sound & visuals of the stage. Look forward to visiting again.

We saw il Trovatore here recently. We were really surprised about the quality of the ensemble, both the orchestra and the singers are fabulous. The architecture of the theatre is a real pleasure as well.

Excellent theater! The most beautiful theater I have been in my life! The seats are very comfortable. The acoustics are phenomenal. The main hall is a piece of art. You can't miss it if you are in Wiesbaden!

Dear All, I would like to explain why I only rated one start. My family is not from Germany and we recently moved to Wiesbaden. I was searching for a veterinarian for our dog, and as we both work full-time, it was easier if the veterinarian came to our house. In general, the service we have received was good as far as I can tell, the veterinarian was friendly, kind, and helpful. My problem is not with the veterinarian herself but with the billing. The first bill we received was EUR 189.57 and for coming to my house, doing a check-up, and vaccinating my dog, I found it slightly expensive, but reasonable. However, my dog needed a second dose of the vaccine and the veterinarian had to come back four (4) weeks later. We agreed that when she comes back, she will also take blood. Four (4) weeks later, she came back, gave my dog the second dose, vaccinated my dog for rabies (allegedly the US version of rabbis is not good enough and the EU does not accept it for the EU Dog passport), and took blood. She was in and out within less than an hour. We agreed that she does an extra profile because I give my dog only raw meat to ensure my dog is healthy and that we would need Simparica (3 months) A couple of days later I received a bill for EUR 570.00. - for the house visit: EUR 109.21 (including vaccine) - for blood analysis: EUR 339.25 (including meat profile) - Simpartica: EUR 38.49 - Taxes: EUR 82.28 Total of EUR 569.23, I pay the amount for the doctor's visit of my whole family including blood analysis and we are three household members. Here at least I can submit it to our insurance and receive the reimbursement, felmo is outrageously expensive and they justify their outrageous prices with the comfort of your house. I requested to change the billing address as we are otherwise not able to submit our bill for reimbursement, which they are constantly refusing to do. I only can recommend to any American Colleague/friend/Expat to NOT go to them, you will not be able to submit for your US pet insurance, you will not be able to submit for VAT reimbursement, felmo is not cooperative to support. I went to other vat's and showed them the bill and asked them what they would have charged, they would have charged 1/3. My dear American Friends, if you need a recommendation for a good vat, please contact me and I can give you a recommendation that will not suck you dry.

The veterinarian was really nice , friendly and professional . He done the castration on my cat super good and carefully . Many thanks to the whole team and specially to the doctor was here today .

Outstanding service! I would give ten stars if possible. Easy scheduling, on time arrival, and thorough examination by qualified veterinarian. Answered all questions and recommended preventative medications. Overall the easiest part of my pets upcoming trip back home!

The vet who came, Mohamad Satouf, was super! He was very gentle with our little dog and very thorough. Despite our lack of German, he did a wonderful job of communicating what he was doing and his final prognosis.

Wonderful experience. Dr. Essat Baaj was very kind, professional, and answered my son's questions as well. Highly recommend it saved time and stress on our cats by being seen at our home. We now have a game plan for our furry family members and optimistic that their health will be restored

Dr. Wohllebe is very competent and friendly. She could answers all our (many) questions (in German and English) and ensured our cat was in good health after a multiple vomitting episode. Very thankful for her care!

If I could give 10/10, I would give it. It's a 5/5 no doubts. Atmosphere... Is amazing. We needed to wait about 10 minutes before we were seated, but it was all worth it. We were so excited. All the surrounding it's something special, I felt like I was in some kind of movie. It just some special and magical place. I don't drink coffee usually. But here coffee was so good. And the cute little pies, omg.... It's very high quality. I'm pastry chef myself. I know what I'm talking about. Nothing to much, the balance between sweet, bitter, sour it's just perfect. I red some comment, it's to sweet. I totally disagree. It's perfect. It's not to sweet. Every detail is amazing. If you are visiting Wiesbaden. It's a MUST to visit this magical place. Music is amazing. Staff is very professional and friendly. Prices are also very very good. So good luck. And I will definitely come back to have my special time with my loved ones. Really fancy Austrian cafe. The schnitzel nach Wiener art was very delicious, as well as the fries and side salad. The interior design is amazing. I feel like I'm in an old European film. The upstairs dining area is so fancy and bourgeois. Would be great to host a dinner party here! They have a variety of delicious Austrian cakes with beautiful design. Almost too beautiful to eat. The breakfast combo comes with champagne and a three tiered tray of cheese, meat cuts, smoked salmon and bread. Very nice experience!

Beautiful Russian Orthodox Church

This park is located near the centre of wiesbaden and a haven of tranquility during the heat wave of our visit. To walk the entire length of the park will take about an hour whilst viewing the old houses/ villas which are a historical point of interest. There is a great bar/restaurant once you return from your walk near the casino rear entrance.

Beautiful church in the heart of Wiesbaden. Went to mass while visiting. It was in German but it was easy to follow the mass. Loved the shopping area that we explored after.

This is a church. Very simple and yet very peaceful place. I'm there to pray and not for photos taken or a tourist place. Beautiful layout and the Sunday Mass is very full. The Sunday evening Mass is also full. Outside is on construction at the moment but you can still go inside through the side door.

Beautifully curated museum with several original printed books, specially 3 bibles. A very good printed demonstration, from the making of the letters to the final printed page, both in English and German with a replica of the printing machine. It's a small museum but very well done. When I visited in Nov 2025 they had the word "Moved" in the name to emphasize that it's final location is under renovation and it is just temporarily adjacent to the natural history museum. Indeed I almost wandered into the natural history museum trying to find it. The first room had a 3D table of Mainz and narrated a story of his life (both in English and German). Indeed in spite of what some past reviews said, the museum seems to have stepped up their game and most descriptions were in both German and English. The main attraction, the two original Bibles we're well displayed and surprisingly uncrowded. I was able to go back two and study them.

1.5 hours was NOT enough. Didn't get to the demonstrations upstairs. (I visited the "Moved!" version in June 2025.) Anyone in graphic design, journalism or communications will appreciate the overarching themes and attention to detail. The Bibles themselves, and the additional works displayed alongside them, were presented very well and in an interesting manner.

The Gutenberg Museum is a fascinating and well-worthwhile visit. While I was a bit confused by the natural history aspect, I soon discovered that the main exhibition is temporarily located inside the Natural History Museum—a detail that, once understood, didn't detract from the experience at all. My primary interest was learning more about Johannes Gutenberg, and the museum did an excellent job of that. The exhibits are fantastic, especially the chance to see some of the first printed bibles up close. I also appreciated the use of modern technology to make the history more relatable, particularly the fun machine that lets you create a selfie with a printed page. My only regret is that I didn't get to see a demonstration of the printing press in action. Overall, it's a great experience and excellent value for money.

It is a must see. Less than an hour away from Frankfurt airport. Parking is an issue. So plan your trip. The ticket is €10. Very nice shop and staff.

The "small" salad is big and very refreshing, the Wiener schnitzel is big portion and the potatoes with the bacon are wonderful. Really want to come back for more.

Ladies Tango Festival Wiesbaden

I usually come here on Mondays when I'm in town for Ladies only Sauna. Before the Sauna I swim a little bit in the pool which is part indoor and part outdoor. They have a big poster that explains the thermal baths historically. Very interesting and worth reading. The Sauna area is very big and provides different types of sauna like the Finnish sauna, steam bath, water pond, ice to cool off after the sauna, and a restaurant area with plenty of seating. I particularly love the scheduled Aufguss Sauna Sessions. They let ice balls infused with essential oils melt over the sauna heating system. It can get very hot but it is very relaxing. The restaurant has basic food that is just okay. It offers plenty of coffee beverages, alcoholic drinks, and refreshing alcohol free drinks. Be aware that according to German manner you have to or can occupy the lounge chairs with your stuff to keep them reserved for you.

Visited the sauna for the first time ever and was amazed by the offerings of different saunas, peelings (had the coffee-Salt peeling which was amazing) and the offering of food (can recommend the homemade red beet patties) and drinks. My highlight was the outdoor thermal bath which is rare to find anywhere else. I will definitely come back.

Dear fellow Americans. Please, please, please, don't miss out on such a cool part of German culture as saunas. So check this out, Aukammtal has two sections: one is basically a large swimming pool where people swim in bathing suits and another one is a "textile free" saunas area. Please give this saunas area a try, it is so much better, and also has an open air thermal pool in it! Yes, people will be naked and you will be naked. Just as mother Nature created you. This is not a fashion show. There will be regular people, older than you, younger than you, completely different. One mutual things about them though: they won't care about you. Bought a clock here while visiting my daughter. Spent a good deal of money. They were very helpful and it was packed for shipping. My issue is customer service once it arrived. I really enjoyed walking around Schloss Fruedenburg today, and if I had seen a donation spot I definitely would have given to this little hidden gem. If you have small children I think they would love all of the activities available for children. It was just fun walking around the Schloss and looking at all of the things they have built for climbing, touching, looking, and experiencing. Looking forward to going back there this spring.

We went there on a public holiday with our 4-year-old son and our baby daughter, planning to have coffee and cake while letting our son run around. We were surprised when we were asked to buy tickets (17 EUR for adults and 7 EUR for kids), even though we had no intention of visiting the villa inside, or using anything else than the café and the playground. Since we have a 5-month-old baby in a stroller, we couldn't even if we wanted to. So we bought the tickets, paying 41 EUR for a few hours of sitting in their garden and a few turns down the slide for our son. I wouldn't recommend it for spontaneous visits, unless you plan to spend the whole day there and use all of their amenities, which would make paying this price worthwhile. Parking was also a problem, since the only option is to park along a road where cars drive 50 km/h. Getting kids in and out of the car is risky and stressful. Two stars in the end: the second star is for the beautiful setting in the nature and polite staff. I exhibited at a teddy bear fair there, the access was easy although there are still not enough unloading spaces. The lighting was fine andthe air conditioning coped very well with the 30 degree outside temperature. The design is efficient but soulless, reminiscent of the Lincoln Center in New York built in the early 1960s, however a lot of young people were visibly enjoying the public spaces, taking plenty of selfies. The catering is much worse than it was before the halls were rebuilt, especially for exhibitors who need hot food quickly. I had my doubts about how friendly it is for disabled visitors, the toilets are on the floor below the main exhibition space and the signs/icons designating gender are small, indistinct and very high up. It works well but could have been so much better.

I’m lucky to visit such lovely places, this is another jewel in Wiesbaden’s crown! Lush green lawns under shady trees 🌳 where one can lay down and relax. Go have a swim after a while it’s just like an infinity pool with grand view’s. Enjoy a snack hot or cold and maybe a good glass of wine… one thing is for sure you’ll have a good time here.

The restaurant owner looked at me like I had two heads when I walked in barefoot. “Why would one do such a thing at a swimming pool?” After we were here for a bit, we realized that you can rent chairs at the entrance. Amazing place. Inside you have part of the walls. You can also go stairs up to get an amazing view of the forest. I've been there for an after-conference-event. They served really good food, which was splitted over several stands. On each food stand they cooked the meal fresh. We also had music and cocktails this night. The cocktails were okay, nothing too special. Thanks for the experience!

Jagdschloss Platte was closed when I got up there but it commands a view from the top of the hill, I can only assume what it must be able to see from inside. There are a few trails that originate from the parking lot and loop back.

Nice art xevo small theatre featuring original films from many countries. There is a bar for drinks and snacks while you watch the film. Movies usually run at least twice; once in the original language and once in dubbed German. Sometimes there are German sub-titles when it is showing in original language other than German. I love it.

If you really like cinema, want to see recent, underground, cult, short or classic movies, if you can keep your attention on the movie for at least 2 hours without chatting, without checking your smartphone or without eating a 5 liter box of popcorns that you will anyway never finish...then yes you're at the right place. Check the program and enjoy the movie. It is nice that such a cinema theater is still existing.

There are plenty of coffee shops, snack bars, and restaurants to choose from, making it convenient to grab a bite or relax while waiting for your train. The atmosphere is good, and the facilities organized. A good hub for travels! Good connection with Frankfurt Airport.

Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof is a well-connected and attractive central station that blends classic architecture with modern functionality. The station building itself is spacious and visually impressive, giving a welcoming first impression when you arrive in the city. Train connections are frequent, with reliable links to Frankfurt, Mainz, Darmstadt, Koblenz, and regional destinations across Hessen and Rheinland-Pfalz. The platforms are wide, well-marked, and easy to navigate, making transfers smooth even during busy hours. Nice to be back home. Got in late last night at the Wiesbaden train station. Very safe and clean place. Easy to get to and from Frankfurt Airport. Central located with bus and taxi transportation.

This spacious station is neat. The trains go everywhere you’d want to go. The station is super accesible via car, walking, biking or e-scooter from just about anywhere in Wiesbaden. It’s easy to just pull up and buy a ticket at the ticketing booth. The food and café options while you wait for a train are lowkey but comforting. Always full of life.

Well working train station. Clear structure and logic; platforms and train schedules are easy to find. Good information displays. Clean and safe with a decent number of stores and restaurants. Well within a walking distance from the city center.

The station is beautiful, nice and easy to find the route. The trains to Wiesbanden from Frankfurt have good Wi-Fi service. It is convenient for the ones who does not have own internet. Wiesbaden train station is the second one I have been in Germany after Frankfurt and Mainn train station.

An absolute yes for families. The most beautiful little play area for kiddies, a large shallow pool with slides, large deep pool for adults with 2 diving boards. Great picnic areas and privacy on the grounds. Wonderful spielplatz and stands for food. Beware of queues for the hot food though. Also, bring flip flops... the stone floor discourages running because it HURTS. Other than that.. €5 I paid for myself and my 2yr old was free.

AMAZING! This was perfect for little children. The water was shallow enough that they could play without needing to swim. There was many activities outside of the water as well to include a full playground and a sand table. Highly recommend this location for families with small children!

Fantastic swimming pool complex with large 8 lane pool with crystal clear water . It also has a child's shallow pool and wet area. There are a spring board & high diving boards. A cafe & fkk area tucked away in a nice quiet area. Showers & changing area.

Too crowded but seems like a looked after place, which means it's clean-ish. The lockers could be better, the grass greener and the cafe healthier. But for the cheap price you can't expect a high standard, right?

I wanted to look around with privacy to get something for my kids but the old man, Stephen he called himself, was very pushy and sort of condescending about my taste. I really wanted time to think since I was willing spend but I could not gather my own thoughts while he tried to pick everything for me. Unfortunately I will not go back and will not return

Omygosh, do not listen to any haters! This store is fantastic, great selection of kuckoo clocks and very receptive and warm staff! They shipped it to us (Texas) for free due to a tax already applied, it took about 3 weeks but was so worth it! The picture does not do it Justice, hearing the bird noises at noon and seeing the people dance, and the men drink beer is soothing.

This is a must stop when in town. On one hand it’s a tourist trap to buy a Coo Coo Clock in Germany, however this store has a lot of hand made items and traditional German items. They have Steins at a great price compared to other stores in more touristy areas. They have the Christmas ornaments, wooden sprocket decorations, beautiful nativity scenes and other German hand made items. The clocks are impressive! From battery operated to the traditional wind up that last a day to 8 days. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable on the clocks and items, along with helping on the tax, shipping, and assuring you get the items you want home safely. The store is not cheap, they treat you great, and have high quality hand made items. E we bought 2 steins and some decisions and magnets. Could have easily spent 10x that amount.

Avoid this shop, the moment I stepped in to look around and probably buy souvenirs for friends and family, the older lady, probably the owner, walked right behind me afraid I was going to steal. A bit more respect would be appreciated. Invest in cameras instead of chasing people around the shop, most of people are nice and honest, like myself. But I hope you get more and more of the people who will go in with bad intentions, it is well deserved.

What a GREAT experience! We came last year and didn't have time to pick out a clock. This year, we came and had a look around. Everyone working there was very helpful and patient as we looked at several clocks. We finally decided on one and we both love it. They packed it and boxed it up so we could take it back on our flight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stop by this store while in Wiensbaden. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a lot of items that may catch your fancy aside from the famous cuckoo clock.

Fantastic place for a quiet and peaceful hike around looking at some birds and animals. Nothing fancy but I loved it, it's super charming and the animals have large enclosures. There are plenty of playgrounds for kids to hang out. Highly recommend.

This is a free Zoo in the outer ring Wiesbaden. Getting there is easy although parking is a nightmare (it's supposed to have 2 parking lots, but if one gets after 11 Uhr, chances to find a parking slot are really slim). There is some construction going on as of today, which creates traffic jam and a lot of stress. Animals have a lot of space to go by and mostly they're endemic from Wiesbaden and Hessen (no Lions, Hippos, etcetera). Zoo spreads over a steep hill, so be prepared for a good cardio session (there're benches everywhere for the elderly visitors). Within the premises, there's also undergoing a construction but that doesn't limit the experience of the zoo. There is a Kiosk where food and snacks can be bought at fair prices. Also, there're tables and benches available and a huge SPIELPLATZ. Bathrooms are at the entrance to the zoo, so it may take a long run to get there in case needed (bathrooms are clean, although it could be better. Of course, cleanliness depends on how the visitors make use of it). I've been there twice, once with my parents and last time with my son, and both times it was worth it and didn't disappoint.

A very nice setup with plenty of space for the animals and very well maintained, there is a route to walk and picnic spots dotted throughout the area. There are also some clean toilets and a restaurant offering some good but albeit pricey food. We didn’t need tickets and there’s ample free parking. A great place for adults and families too and a great way to introduce young children to respect nature.

A really nice place for all who like animals and nature, to relax and have a good time. Parking places on weekends sometimes are really crowded, but with a lot of patience it's manageable to find one. And for kids there's a playground, which is really excellent. Also near the entrance is a restaurant, which we still didn't have time to visit.

Fasanarie is exceptional 👌🏼 👏🏽 🙌🏽 😍. It has a huge play ground for kids, there is so much to see it is actually not possible to see everything in Just one day. The atmosphere is splendid. The toilets are great they have enough space for a stroller too😎 they have friendly staff. They do have a restaurant though it's usually not open when I'm there. It is easy to get there the bus stop is right at the entrance about 2 minutes walk to the bus stop. It's an amazing place to spend time with friends,family while appreciating the beauty of nature. 👉🏽you should go there😃 you will love it!

Definitively worth seeing, for anyone interested in animals, family’s or just to walk around in nature. The entry is free and the staff really nice. 😊👍🪿 I was surprised to see birds of prey and an actual bear. 🐻🪶 Something you can’t find in other Wildparks. Really nice done! A modern performing arts theater, perfect in every way! We bought "season" symphony tickets here during my year in Wiesbaden, and thoroughly enjoyed the shows. I also loved the fact that they have free beer/wine/soft drinks and pretzels both before the show and during intermissions! You just can't beat this place for it's ambiance and acoustics - I wish we had some place like this at my next duty station!

Went for the symphony concert with friends to celebrate my birthday. All the stuff is very amiable, here to help and show around. The performance was wonderful, we all enjoyed it so much!

Nice Theater in central Mainz

Would recommend playing Enterbt (mystery of one of our great uncle's will)! There were five of us in total which worked really well. Great service all round - was particularly impressed that we had our own dedicated room operator, which we've not had before. Few tricky challenges but great fun and kept us all fully occupied throughout.

I played Lost in Space with my friends and we managed to clear it but the riddles are not universal and certain things did not make sense. I thought it was poorly made compared to other escape rooms in Frankfurt. Looking forward to playing another room here to change my view!
