Enoteca Pinchiorri is a renowned restaurant located in an elegant 18th-century Palazzo Jacometti-Ciofi in the heart of Florence. The restaurant has earned three Michelin stars for its exceptional combination of high-quality ingredients, innovative culinary techniques, and a deep respect for traditional Tuscan cuisine. The opulent space offers a luxurious dining experience where guests are treated with unparalleled attention to detail and an extensive wine list featuring both well-known labels and hidden gems.
Real classy place that truly lives up to its reputation. We were a bit apprehensive having read some not so favorable reviews but had to give this iconic restaurant a try and they did not disappoint! While not the most “inventive” cuisine, Pinchiorri just focuses on serving some fantastic, well made classic dishes. The restaurant oozes old school class and glamour, and the staff were so attentive and caring. Never felt that they tried to “up sell” as some reviews mentioned. They gave us such a wonderful anniversary celebration to remember! Is it expensive? Most certainly, but that’s the price of having such consistency and class over the many years. Really appreciated that they had different levels of wine pairings as well that showcased their huge collection of wines (their wine book needs to be seen to be believed!)
Ian W — Google review
As someone who has had the privilege of dining in some of the world’s most celebrated culinary institutions, from Tokyo to Lima. I approached Enoteca Pinchiorri with high expectations. After all, a three-Michelin-starred legacy restaurant nestled in Florence commands a certain level of storytelling, innovation, and emotional resonance. There is no doubt: the service was flawless in precision, down to the smallest gesture. But therein lies part of the conflict, it felt mechanical, rehearsed, and somewhat devoid of warmth or genuine connection. The menu, while technically sophisticated and beautifully presented, lacked a narrative. There was no thread pulling me through a journey, no spark that made me pause in wonder. I kept waiting for that moment, the unexpected element that delights, the clever twist that turns a dish into memory. It came briefly, with a green lasagna accented by lemon mustard, an imaginative and bold pairing that awakened the senses. Unfortunately, that lift arrived too late in the meal to carry the experience. What left a bitter aftertaste, however, was observing the chef greet only a specific table, locals, perhaps regulars, while the rest of us were overlooked. Having dined at Central in Lima, currently ranked the best restaurant in the world, where the chef personally greeted every guest regardless of background, I couldn’t help but notice the contrast. True hospitality is inclusive. At €380 per person, I expected more than just flawless execution. I longed for emotion, for a story, for a moment that lingered long after the meal ended. Instead, I left with admiration for the craft, but without the memory of wonder.
Tati S — Google review
I truly wonder how this restaurant maintains its Michelin 3-star status, because the experience fell far short of expectations. The service was shockingly poor – staff seemed to prioritize locals and regulars, while other guests were treated dismissively. One older staff member with white hair even placed another table’s wine bottle directly in front of me, blocking my view, seemingly because I had not ordered a bottle myself. The way I was treated made me feel unwelcome, and at times I sensed a degree of prejudice in their attitude. The food was another disappointment: overly salty, uninspired, and absolutely not worth the €390 price tag. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. For the same cost, there are far better dining experiences in Europe where guests are treated with respect and food quality matches the price.
Howard — Google review
Truly bucket list experience. From the moment we stepped to the front door, service was top notch. Alejandro, Andrea, and Alberto did not disappoint. Both vegetarian and expression tasting were exceptional. With the wine pairings. Dessert was very unique in presentation and flavors.
Ernie A — Google review
Is the place overrated or the kitchen had an off night? You will be the judge. We made a reservation of 4. They will hold €1500 on your CC for the reservation. I totally understand the concept to prevent any cancellations. The service was excellent and I have nothing but good things to say. They were very attentive and answered all the questions we have. The food was underwhelming in general. At some point I asked if it was just me or everyone thinks that the food was below average? Unfortunately we are all agreed that the food was not that great. My wife had the duck and it was chewy and very underwhelming. The surprise dishes that they offered were surprisingly lacking the flavor. By the time you get to the sweet, you will feel that’s it I don’t want to keep going. I didn’t even try my sweet dish as I lost interest. I didn’t want to even try it.
ISmile D — Google review
“Disappointing” is the word I would use to describe Enoteca Pinchiorri. Its three Michelin star designation leaves much to be desired. The food is okay. It’s not bad, but for what you’re paying and the level of notoriety that the restaurant has received, you will leave puzzled. Presentation is very simple and depth of flavors is lacking throughout. I’m also fairly certain that two of my dishes were microwaved as the food and plate arrived scalding hot. The service is not very good and I was specifically disappointed in the sommelier. For a restaurant that touts its wine cellar and refers to its wine list as “the Bible” I was really let down that he was unable to recommend something given my tastes. To top off my poor experience, a large fly was circling the dining room throughout our dinner and I was actually able to catch it in my hand towards the end, marking the sole moment of satisfaction this evening brought me. Bottom line - not up to three Michelin star standards, seek Michelin elsewhere in Florence.
Rosario C — Google review
Absolutely blown away by our dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence. They created a full vegan tasting menu just for us and not a single missed note. Every dish was thoughtful, creative, and delicious. The service, the wine pairings, the ambiance was perfection. If you’re plant-based and in Florence, do not miss this.
Nirav D — Google review
I may have mistaken this for a food first restaurant, being that it is called Enoteca (wine shop) but, being a Michelin 3 star restaurant, I was surprised at the very low quality of the food. Started off with a chip that tasted like tomato pringles, and it went south from there. Cold food, which isn’t unusual in these restaurants, but the tastes just did not work. There was this “lasagna” that was a long stale noodle appearing this, with just horrible tastes. Also, not that any michelin restaurant will have affordable bottles, but they recommended to me an $800 bottle of wine after I said I wasn’t really a connoisseur… not the best experience. $1000 down the drain. Btw, not flexing because I am sure that many have enjoyed more fine dining than I, but I have been to 8 three star michelin restaurants, and tons of one and two star, plus a bunch of the top 10 non-Michelin rated restaurants in South America (e.g. - Central) and this was the only restaurant where the food was just not good. The service was amazing, however. The wait staff was amazing, and nice, and professional.

Restaurant
Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura is a luxurious restaurant located in the vibrant Piazza della Signoria. The opulent space features forest green velvet, pea green boiserie, and custom-made Ginori porcelain with the brand's floral Herbarium design. While Chef Massimo Bottura's name graces the menu, it's Mexican chef Karine Lopez who leads the kitchen, offering a tantalizing blend of reimagined Emilian and global classics influenced by her background.
Our experience at Gucci Osteria was absolutely perfect. Beyond the luxurious presentation of each dish, the flavors were exquisite and unique – every bite was a delight. From the impeccable service to the elegant restaurant design, we enjoyed every moment of our meal. The choice of jazz music in the background added the perfect ambiance, enhancing the entire dining experience. To make the evening even more special, the staff surprised us with a small cake and a gift bag filled with candy for my partner’s birthday. This thoughtful gesture added a lovely touch to an already unforgettable evening. We left with big smiles, grateful for such a wonderful experience!

Gucci Osteria in Florence is a truly special experience. Even though it’s a luxury, brand-name restaurant connected to the Gucci boutique, it’s much more than just a tourist spot. The food is absolutely delicious — some dishes are so good you’ll want to order them twice! What’s even more surprising for such a high-end place is how friendly and helpful the staff are. They go out of their way to make your visit perfect and will happily help with anything you need. If you’re in Florence, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s not just about the name — it’s about amazing food and warm service in a beautiful setting. Plus, it’s right inside the same building as the Gucci store, which adds to the experience Def try coffee soup )
Nadia G — Google review
For the price, everything was just sort of good enough. The tortellini needed more salt, the waiter should have explained that a prosciutto starter was more for sharing than for one person to have as a course, and the service forgot us at the end. The food was beautiful and the space was lovely but a bit cold.
Samantha G — Google review
I absolutely loved and enjoyed this place by both my eyes and mouth. Amazing quality of dishes. It is of course not just about the foods but the way I was treated by the servers. They were so kind to me explaining every single dishes and asked my preferences as well. I would definitely love to visit here again!
Liam.Seungieek R — Google review
The Gucci Osteria was just awful. The “seafood salad” was a grey mouse in a black tart under greens that was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. It was as if they blended a bunch of raw seafood together and plopped it into a tart. There were slimy pieces of seafood floating in the grey goo. The second pasta was nothing special and served cold. The “extras” were fine but overall I would have been happier at any other restaurant in Florence. For the price and time it was a huge disappointment. I’m giving a bad rating for service because it was very clear that we did not like the grey mush and the server just left it in front of us for 20 minutes. Do yourself a favor and skip this.

First time in a Michelin star restaurant DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Celebrated my fortieth birthday by treating myself to the tasting menu and had the four most exquisite hours of my life in the process! Amazing service! Incredible food! The perfect evening! Thank you!

Worth the hype. I know other locations don’t have best reputation. The food here is incredible and dining room is gorgeous.
Alexander H — Google review
The food was terrible, not worth the price. The selection was poor overall, but we were also limited to choosing dishes from specific sections of the menu when ordering. We ordered drinks before eating. The mojito was terrible, sour and unsweetened, despite being drenched in a strange syrup. As a compliment, we were brought a "chocolate candy" and a cup of coffee. After tasting this masterpiece, I almost threw up. I think it was chicken liver pate or something similar. I didn't try the coffee, but according to my family, they added broth to the coffee for a more specific flavor. My order included spaghetti with tomato paste and steak as a main course. An hour later, they brought me completely ordinary spaghetti with tomato sauce. About forty-five minutes later, I waited for the steak. To put it mildly, it wasn't what I expected. There were two small pieces of meat on the plate, clearly not enough to completely satisfy. Overall, terrible.

Nestled just above Fiesole, Trattoria Le Cave di Maiano offers a serene dining experience that beautifully combines nature with the rich flavors of classic Tuscan cuisine. Established in the 1890s, this charming restaurant is steeped in history and tradition, making it a perfect escape for city dwellers seeking a taste of authentic local fare. The welcoming atmosphere created by Francesco and his team enhances the experience, ensuring guests feel right at home amidst the tranquil countryside.
This place is up in the hills and very private. The owner was very accommodating. Our waiter David’s was helpful and funny. The atmosphere is magical and the food and wine were exquisite! Try the tiaglini made in the heated parmigiana bowl! I highly recommend a visit her.

We found this place by accident. The Tortellini with Sage was excellent, so was the wine and service. The gnochi with pesto rossa was good but the sauce was not the best. The views are amazing so is the courtyard you sit in. Forgot to make pictures of the mains, as we were too hungry. The starters were good as well. If you in the area go there!

Fine dining restaurant
Ristorante Villa Fiesole is a fine dining gem located in the stunning 19th-century villa of the FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole, offering breathtaking views of Florence. Chef Antonello Sardi and his team have curated a menu that celebrates local flavors and sustainability, with an emphasis on Tuscan tradition infused with creative flair. The intimate setting features an exclusive room with only 9 tables and a picturesque wall-terrace inspired by Van Gogh's art.
An absolutely astounding experience from start to finish, leaving your tastebuds with a deeper desire for more. I went for the tasting menu with wine pairings. 🍷🍴: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💶💲: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🙋🏻‍♂️ 🧑🏼: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without recounting each dish, I can state that every plate offers a touch of something unique, surprising or unexpected. The plates are prepared with a high degree of refinement. One of the details which stood out to me was how much the true flavours of the vegetables were honoured—not just the proteins. I've never tasted such potent flavours while mainting the delicateness of the produce. In true Italian fashion, it was all about showing off the quality of the produce. The sommelier chose excellent wines— perfect accompaniments and well-versed in the choices. Like the dishes, each brought a little surprise, an unexpectedness, or a touch of difference to the palate. I even asked for an amaro at the end, and let the choice to him. At that point he understood what I was looking for. Fantastic. The open kitchen is a pure pleasure to see. You can sit with the chefs in view on one side, and a beautiful panaroma of Firenze on the other. Get a table before sundown, see the sunset, then the lights at night. One final detail, which for me was great to see. The kitchen itself is diverse —en, women and different cultures collaborating on their creations. Quite a sight in a cuisine culture which is as traditionalist as Italy's. A must-visit if you are in the area, and worth the trip outside Firenze for the beautiful views alone.

We only got the 3-course lunch menu but it was already spectacular. The breathtaking Tuscany view, the locally sourced ingredients, the understated creative flair, the attentive service 👌 Nothing pretentious - just (exceptionally) good food & genuinely good service. Well deserving star.

An Exquisite Experience From start to finish, everything about this restaurant was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, the food was a masterpiece in every bite, and the service was flawless — attentive without being intrusive. Each course was beautifully presented and even more delicious than the last. Perfect dining experience 🥰❤️

My wife and I ordered 3 course lunch but we had almost 9 courses including welcome appetizers and deserts. Such an excellent view in which you can see the entire city of Florence from your table. Food and service were both exceptional. They have a huge wine list and wine pairing recommendation was excellent. I strongly recomment this place if you visit Florence and want to experience next-level fine dining experience.

My now fiancée booked the restaurant for dinner after our proposal. It was the most amazing, special, beautiful evening. The food was so delicious, every dish was unique and beautifully crafted! The flavours were amazing!! The chefs are so talented! The hosts / waiters were so lovely and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Especially Yosef - he explained every dish so well and gave us recommendations. The most beautiful flowers at our panoramic view table which we got to take home with us was such a special touch. The atmosphere and music at the restaurant was so wonderful. Amazing views for sunset over the whole of Florence. We cannot recommend this spot more!! We would love to return one day once we have got married.

Serrae Villa Fiesole was a standout meal during my time in Florence. The food was absolutely delicious, paired with warm, attentive service and a breathtaking view over the city. Every dish felt thoughtful and refined. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — it truly deserves a Michelin star.

We ate here in July- on the patio. We did the 9 course tasting which was incredible, and we were well attended to. We took a cab in from Florence and the concierge called one for us on the way back while we reminisced about the menu and meal. Best meal we’ve eaten in the last three years. We chose it because they accommodate food preferences which many don’t. Our only hiccup was the sommelier was not there so we could not do the wine pairing, but the wines they picked for us were lovely. We are still thinking about the green pepper dish we had, which was such s surprise, and loved the clear Italian influence. The “upgrade” in service at the end was such a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend. We also really appreciated the interaction from the Chef. You can feel how much he cares and thinks about the food and the experience.

Perhaps the best meal we had in all of Italy. This restaurant was a dream. Despite reserving the 5 course menu for my husband and the 4 course vegetarian option for myself, I first of all was offered another pasta dish to up my total dishes to 5, but between the extras, this ended up being 7-9 courses and each was incredible. The service here was phenomenal, the location top notch, and the food was incredible. I genuinely cannot say enough good things - the michelin star is well earned.

Il Palagio is a luxurious dining destination located in the iconic Four Seasons hotel. The flagship Michelin-starred restaurant offers an elegant and sophisticated experience with its neoclassical decor. Executive Chef Paolo Lavezzini curates inventive Tuscan dishes using top-quality natural ingredients from small producers, adding a contemporary twist to regional cuisine. Guests can indulge in tasting menus served in the opulent hotel dining room or on a charming garden terrace.
It’s been a week since my visit to Il Palagio and Im still struggling to put the experience into words. Working in the restaurant industry, I was searching for something extraordinary and Il Palagio delivered beyond my expectations. The tasting menu we took was a masterclass in precision and storytelling, with flavours and presentation that stood out across my entire two week trip in Italy. Special thanks to Manuel, whose warm service elevated the evening even further along with his wonderful colleagues who made the entire experience for us unforgettable. If you are in Florence run to Il Palagio. It’s not just dinner, but a memory!! Extra points for the exceptional cocktails at the bar right next to the restaurant, but that’s a review for another time... Best regards, until next time!

My first time in Florence and this place added laurels to this city profoundly! Having been to so many Michelin rated restaurants I wasn't as keen after a long journey; still it exceeded my expectations. The service and the atmosphere are good as one would expect in a high end restaurant, not much to add here except I found them to be one of the politest in comparison to my experiences from Europe and the US. I picked the "Gherardesca" Tasting Menu mainly because I wanted to try risotto and pasta from the selections. Every single of the 12 (more additions besides the tasting menu) offerings were sensationally delivered. The Amuse-bouche was probably one of the best. Few dishes that stood out were the risotto (beautifully tangy), the cockerel agnolotti (with truffle and divine al dente pasta) and the Lamb (gorgeous sear on the meat) were exquisite. The desserts were good as well, though I feel adding too many raspberries adds excessive sourness to the dessert which isn't my favourite. I often noticed that most Michelin star places are somehow repetitive with almost identical (french) flavours, but not this one. It stayed true to it's Italian roots and flavours...and that is commendable! Definitely recommend for anyone hoping to get the best of Italian cuisine.

Dinner at il Palagio located at the Four Seasons Florence by Chef Paolo Lavezzini is a 1 star michelin.. left us so confused between brilliant taste with the amuse bouche, beetroot starter, dessert and unpalatable mains with the sea bass fish - sea bass Wellington!! Referred in the menu as crusted sea bass, we thought just crisp skin 😆😆, lamb, gnocchi.. overall 2/10 and wouldn’t recommend it.
Alya — Google review
We dined at Il Palagio, the Michelin one starred restaurant located within the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, to experience their renowned tasting menu. Having been underwhelmed by other Michelin experiences in the past, I approached this meal with cautious optimism. However, Il Palagio exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was both elegant and inviting, reflecting the restaurant's setting in the historic Palazzo della Gherardesca. We also had breakfast at this restaurant while staying at the Four Seasons, which was fantastic, as well. I started with a gin martini with twist. So yummy. We chose the Gherardesca tasting menu, a culinary journey inspired by the hotel's private garden. I won't even begin to talk about how beautiful the garden is. :) The menu featured dishes that showcased the chef's ability to blend traditional Tuscan flavors with innovative techniques. Notably, an appetizer incorporated Kimchi, seamlessly integrating this element into the dish's flavor profile. As a Korean, I found this a nice touch, personally. It was a 6-course meal, but they offered multiple appetizers so it felt like a 9 or 10 course meal. Each course, from the amberjack fish to the lamb, was meticulously prepared and presented, highlighting the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Unlike previous Michelin experiences, every dish here was actually both delicious and satisfying. While we did not opt for the full wine pairing, the sommelier provided excellent recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge further enhanced our dining experience. Il Palagio offered a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, making it a standout choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Florence. The service was so nice. Super attentive, friendly, and proactive. The manager later stopped by to talk to us and offered some chocolates. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in exceptional cuisine within a historic and refined setting.

The presentation was refined and the venue stunning, also very good service, but the overall taste and execution of the dishes left us puzzled. Some ingredients, like the broad beans, seemed undercooked—possibly intentional, but it didn’t resonate with us.
ALBEE S — Google review
This was my first Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was a great experience. I tried the tasting menu called Le Spezie della Regina. The meal began with bread, homemade butters, and olive oil. They explained that each month highlights a new veggie and this month was radish. The radish was broken down and each part of seasoned differently. Then the tasting menu began. Each plate was beautifully presented, and I tried so many different things, like vegetable charcoal and cuttlefish. My favorite dish was the pasta - it had such a depth of flavor that it definitely stands out. There was also a small palate cleanser before the dessert which was a radish sorbet. That one small bite was incredible! It might have been my favorite bite of the whole night. The dish that felt like an oversight was the cheese course. While not every dish was my favorite or stands out, flavors were interesting and different and it was a fun food journey to go on. While I expected the service to be of a high standard, it went above and beyond. The staff was helpful and explained each dish and at the same time were not overbearing. The atmosphere in general was really lovely and it was nice that the restaurant was not overpacked.

Nestled in the charming town of Fiesole, La Loggia di Villa San Michele offers a delightful dining experience that combines exquisite Italian cuisine with breathtaking views. This restaurant is renowned for its Mediterranean flair and European influences, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts exploring the area. The picturesque setting enhances every meal, allowing guests to savor their dishes while soaking in the stunning landscapes that Fiesole is famous for.
Beautiful villa overlooking all of Florence. All courses were spectacular and well presented. The wine selections were great as well. Amazing experience all round.

From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance. What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa. I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments. I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

Nothing to add, utterly perfect. Situated on the hillside overlooking Firenze, the property has a great view and la loggia offer balcony seats facing the scenery. This is a total different experience compared to the hectic florence. We are lucky enough to visit before the season closing. But I advise if you plan a visit, please contact the hotel/restaurant to check if they are opening. We have chosen the tasting menu ‘contrasti’ with a well curated seafood menu. Afterall the florentine steak and tuscany traditional meal we think this is a refreshing break. The restaurant manager simone is very nice to have offered us some champagne for my pre-birthday. We open up the apetite with a set of beautiful ‘primavera’ garden like apetitizers. Simone pretty presents the stories of each dish behind and the local ingredient to make the beautiful crafted dishes. To higlight there js one sphere shape butter which is made from the milk on back of the hill of the restaurant. It is so creamy pairing up with the perfect crusted bread. The basic ‘bread and butter ‘ can simply shows how well a restaurant is. Other than that I love the mushroom crema antipasti, perfectly decorated. Afterall the chef alessandro cozzolino meet us,he is very friendly and also previously worked in Hong Kong from where I am originated. He told us all the beautiful ceramic plates are designed by him, such a detailed-minded display. I would like to remark on the wine pairing, highly recommended as you will taste wine from different region, they will pair it up based on your own needs and interests. and most of all you can enjoy the dinner without any hassles. Overall the restuarant and hotel has a great atmosphere. It is a enjoyable meal, great service from a passionate and detail-minded team. Highly recommended.

Amazing view and mood. Beautiful presentation of dishes. But taste ..doesn’t value very high. It was normal comparing with the expectation of its location and the price. Staffs were all very kind but the welcoming service wasn’t professional to let wait around 30mins more than the booking time. Having aperitif outside in the garden was amazing. Sommelier is very professional and passionate.

This restaurant is located inside the Belmold hotel inside the villa San Michele. A friend of mine book Us the reservation for our Anniversary. They only hold it with a credit card on file so if you cancel you have to do it in advance or else they charge 100 euros . The place is located up a hill over looking all of Florence and it’s beauty . The views are spectacular and so amazing . The place is very high end so you have to dress accordingly. They have a guy playing the piano . The whole experience is very romantic. The food and wine is delicious and the service is over top . I definitely will come back when I’m in town and also recommend this place .

Just the most beautiful meal and superb service with stunning views but be prepared for a hefty bill! We had lunch rather than dinner- exquisite experience!!!

Unfortunately I am deeply disappointed with my experience here tonight, on many levels. I came here last year for dinner at the San Michele restaurant(not La Loggia) and it was a wonderful time. Because of this, I wanted to take my sister here the next time I was in Florence. I made the mistake of making a reservation for La Loggia thinking it was the same as I had reserved previously, not realizing there were two different restaurants. I was charged a €200 deposit before my visit, which I called about and they explained on the phone it would be subtracted from the bill. We arrived and had drinks in the gardens. They made us pay for the drinks separately before proceeding to dinner. At the table I realize my mistake and explain this to Simona, the person who was seating us. She did not want to refund me but said we could still have dinner at San Michele, and we changed tables. There Dino greeted us, and we explained the situation to him and he said it was no issue and that he would refund us whichever amount we did not spend from the deposit. Dino took care of me last time I visited as well and was a huge part of why my experience was so great the first time. Unfortunately the food from the San Michele restaurant was very disappointing. The risotto was so salty we were not able to eat it, which Dino noticed, and the ravioli was overcooked and a bit salty as well. The first time I was here, the food was perfect, so I’m not sure what happened. When it came time to pay, Simona came back as she did want to refund us but said for the €80 we were now overpaying on our bill she would give us a nice bottle of wine and a bottle of olive oil. She came back with a bag and said “here is your gift”, which since we were technically paying for it, felt a little off. There was no bottle of olive oil in the bag and when we looked up the wine bottle on Google we learned it retails for €25. Again, all of this tainted our experience, especially since half the food we had was inedible. The service we received from everyone else was top notch and obviously the premises are spectacular, but not sure I can recommend this place anymore.

Trattoria Mario is a simple trattoria that has been serving Tuscan food since 1953. Located near the Mercato Centrale, it is known for its Tuscan soups, pastas, and meat dishes paired with regional wines. The menu changes daily and features classic dishes like ribollita vegetable soup and bollito misto. This family-run restaurant is only open for lunch and often has queues due to its no-reservation policy.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, the best meal of my entire trip through Europe. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere warm and full of life. At this restaurant, you can truly feel the essence of Italy, family, and tradition in every dish. I highly recommend it, a place you must visit to experience authentic and delicious Italian food. The amount of food is plentiful and the prices are very reasonable.

Warning!!! Do not go here!! Very sad that I chose this as my first pasta meal I had in Italy. Came here due to all the good reviews and talks about how this is a very authentic place Was extremely pumped to try Ordered Florentine steak and marinara pasta ….soon greatly disappointed Two other people next to us also ordered the steak One of which we struck up a conversation with because he saw us picking at our steak and told us he was also very underwhelmed with the food The other group next to us didn’t even bother to finish Marinara Pasta 2/5 Nothing special, pasta noodles way too soft and very underwhelming. Definitely had way better pasta. We were recommended by the person sitting next to us to go to Trattoria Sabatino instead. Glad we went for dinner! Way better! Florentine steak 55euro/kg and minimum purchase of 600grams. Expensive compared to other places. Nothing else to say besides…. 🤢 bad. Might be rated at the top of one the worst steaks I have ever eaten. I had 1/3 of my steak and stopped wasting my stomach on bad food.

We made our reservations two solid months before we arrived in Florence and its a good thing that i did. In his confirmation reply, he suggested that I remind him a few days before and cautioned me not to be late or I would risk losing my spot. I reminded him 4 times. When we got there he pointed to the sign that said they were booked for the day and we were 10 minutes early! So I reminded him that I made reservations 2 moths ago. He stopped and said, "Are yiu Michael?" "Yes, I am!" He shook my hand and welcomed us in happily and sat us at a table. Bistecca alla Fiorentina is legendary and Trattoria Mario is the place to go for it. The hand cut and chop the bone to order. You can hear the ckeaver hitting that bone because the kitchen is semi open. You can see and hear and smell what is going on in there. You order, they bring out that raw porterhouse, 1 kg or 2.2 pounds, I approved it and 10 minutes later we were eating the best piece of beef that I have ever eaten, cooked perfectly rare! Delicious and definitely worth the 2 month reservation. We planned our activities in beautiful Florence around this perfect meal! Thank you, Mario and staff!

We made a reservation through Instagram DM, and even though we arrived about 10 minutes late because we took the wrong train, the owner welcomed us warmly. We ordered the 1.2 kg T-bone steak, a salad, potatoes, and a half-bottle of wine. The steak was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. The salad wasn’t anything special, but it paired well with the meat. The potatoes came out as fries, which was a bit disappointing at first, but they were actually addicting once we started eating. The wine also matched the steak very well. The atmosphere was a bit lively and noisy, but it added to the local charm. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the food and the service. We would definitely come back.

Incredible hole-in-the-wall with authentic food and experience. We had the bolognese and Florentine steak. The pasta sauce was incredible - such a rich flavor. The steak was perfectly seasoned, if a bit on the rare side. We were lucky to get in for lunch without a reservation. It's not a big place, and the waiter said they are always full. We would definitely come back the next time we're here.

The food is good but I had better fiorentina. Service is good and quick like they are ready to send you out for next customer. It’s not a place you sit down and enjoy meal. It’s more like you sit and have a quick meal in my opinion
Vivienne H — Google review
I'm a bit of a steak snob and stopped ordering it out as it's usually disappointing. The T-Bone here is amazing! Super soft inside, wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which to me should be how every steak restaurant is. Came out rare. Very friendly and accommodating, managed to squeeze us in for an hour but would recommend pre booking a spot. Wish I'd come here earlier in our trip as I've only eaten the steak an hour ago and already want more. Various size steaks so if you want a bigger one ask for it, ours was 700g. Also had the meat pasta which was also delicious and the best one of our trip. Paid around 51 euros for the steak and pasta dish which I think is excellent value
Andrew R — Google review
Truly amazing service by Mario’s familia! They were so sweet and friendly and the steak here was soft. Thought the steak would be too rare and tough but it tasted perfectly cooked and delicious. Had a nice hard sear and well seasoned. The tomato beans were also so comforting and tender. The place is quaint but bustling, felt like the real florentine deal!!

Ristorante Buca Mario is a historic dining establishment located in an ancient cellar with vaults and stones dating back to the 5th century. Since its founding in the late 19th century, it has retained its timeless charm. The restaurant is celebrated for its exquisite Florentine steaks, which pair perfectly with a selection from Tuscany's premier wine cellars.
I had an absolutely exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with attentive staff and a cozy, elegant setting. The highlight of the evening, without a doubt, was the food. The lasagna was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And then came the tiramisu—a true masterpiece. Light, creamy, and not overly sweet, it had the perfect texture and depth of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality Italian cuisine. I’ll definitely be back!

This may have been our best dining experience in Florence…authentic, inviting space, engaging staff, delicious food, and superior wine. Seriously, I am of italian descent, and consider myself a strong cook of all things inherited down from my family. Particular about certain things, and would never order lasagne out in the States. This is the best lasagne I ever had in my life. Wish we could go back and get it again! Enjoy!

We ordered the steak, truffle fillet, lasagna, and tomato pasta. The food was really delicious and beautifully presented. However, the prices were quite high and the service was a bit slow. You definitely need to book a table in advance, as the place gets busy. Overall, a great experience if you don’t mind paying a bit more for quality food.

We came here on the recommendation of a local tour guide that claimed to eat here on special occasions. We wanted to try the special Florentine Steak and was told this is the place to go. We made reservations and based on the line to get in, I was excited to be there. The server was excellent and spoke English very well. We all ordered 1st meal pasta courses and the steak for 2nd course. My pasta with boar Ragu was good but a little on the salty side. The STEAK 🥩 It's big and expensive and very rare. All that I knew going in and is all fine and good. The problem is it's just average tasting and not the taste experience it was hyped up to be. Honestly, it doesn't hold a candle to some dry aged steaks I've had on NYC. I understand they are different cuts and preparation but it's just my honest opinion. Overall the food was good, not great, especially for the prices paid

We visited 9 years ago and had such a memorable experience, we returned this trip. The atmosphere is busy, a well-oiled machine pushing food by on carts and serving mediocre Italian cuisine. They seem to forget about you once you order and then take things away before you’re finished. Our server was warm and funny, however, we didn’t see him after he dropped off our food other than to show us the dessert cart. I think they’ve turned into a tourist attraction unfortunately.

We found Restaurant Buca Mario when we were strolling through the city centre on our first day in Florence. Then we immediately made a reservation on their website to make sure we have a spot in the evening (9:30pm). Upon arrival we were welcomed warm and friendly by the staff and were given a private spot in the corner in an already very busy restaurant. The restaurant is very large and has an authentic look and feel. We had a lovely conversation with our waiter Aldo. He is such a friendly person, with a great smile and much knowledge. He definitely made our dinner much more enjoyable. Coming to the food… it was delicious! For our mains we got three different types of dishes to share the two of us. We got the Lasagna, the gnochi in Gorgonzola sauce and the steak in black pepper sauce with mashed potatoes. All of them were insanely delicious and tasteful. Together with the food we got a small bottle of white house wine. Very light, tasty and complementary to the dishes. We ended with a shot of limoncello and had a last goodbye with Aldo. Conclusion; delicious food, good vibes and conversation with Aldo, and a fair price. What else do you need? We would love to come back!

The food is amazing and we so wanted to give the service 5 stars however we just couldn’t. We had one server who was obviously in training and doing a lovely job. Unfortunately the gentleman training him kept calling him away from what he was about to do to go do something else, almost as if he just wanted to be in charge. Definitely a tourist spot but the food is great.

Walking into your restaurant was like walking into an enchanted boutique store which served food and drinks and soothed the eyes with the colourful products...the decor was truly exquisite and the high ceilings and archways added so much history to the ambience...The hostess was extremely professional...the Limoncello Gin drink was absolutely fresh!!. Being a vegetarian I enjoyed the sage and asparagus agnolotti...so much flavour!! We also enjoyed the jacket potato and truffle!!The staff was very professional and made our evening memorable ♥️♥️ Thank You🙏🏽

The restaurant is absolutely stunning—so fancy and beautifully designed, with a great atmosphere that feels high-end but still welcoming. The food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s not just a place to eat, but also a lovely spot to socialize and gather with friends. You can even buy flowers or candles, or simply enjoy the live piano music, which adds a special touch. Highly recommend!

We came on a cool September night and sat outside while we enjoyed some cocktail. Cool jazz and r&b soul music. The vibe here is impeccable, from the decor to the music to the energy of the space. We ordered the Royal Garibaldi, and it was fresh, crisp, and so balanced. Definitely a step up from your usual spritz, it’s complex and bright, just like the atmosphere. If you’re in Florence and want to soak in an unforgettable evening with great drinks and even better vibes, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough.

Very attentive personnel. Good quality of the coffee and pancakes. Interior design covered with natural flowers, as there is inside a flower section to buy. Definitely recommend

I visited this place for breakfast. The atmosphere is quite fancy, but pretentious. The coffee was decent, nothing exceptional, and the breakfast itself looked elegant but didn’t stand out in terms of taste or quality. The staff were polite, though not particularly warm, and overall the service felt a bit cold. In general, it wasn’t a bad experience, but nothing memorable either. I don’t think I would choose this place again if I’m back in town.

We went to this place in Florence and were really disappointed. The place is very expensive, the staff were quite rude, and the portions were extremely small. The atmosphere is nice, but overall it’s just not worth it. I wouldn’t go again.

We visited this place for breakfast. The taste of the dishes was actually very good, but the portions were quite small and not filling at all. On top of that, the staff were rude and unfriendly. Overall, it was a disappointing experience despite the good flavors.

The atmosphere is nice, but we were bothered by the fact that we ordered just a drink and hot chocolate, and got a snack even though we didn't order it, and then they charged us for it even though we weren't asked? (before the snack is served, they should definitely warn that it costs 4€)... I think it's unnecessary. Small scam from their side 😅

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever visited. We had the tasting menu and each course was superb in its own right. Unique, delicious foods We added wine to each course, all of which were paired excellently. Waitstaff were attentive without being invasive. They looked after our every need. Very professional. A place for special occasions, it fully met our expectations. We tried the sea and land menu’s and the quality and quantity were on point. It’s a pricey place but according to what you get and the location. Waiting times between dishes were correct and with kind service. I would have liked more detail in the dish presentations but it was fine anyway. The tables with views to the Ponte Vecchio are very very romantic, we celebrated our engagement there :)

I found Golden View when doing research for our trip to Florence and immediately made a reservation after seeing the views of the iconic Ponte Vecchio (bridge). It far exceeded expectations! My husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered and our server truly spoiled us with knowledge about Italian wines and some extra apps and dessert. I highly recommend the truffle pasta. We were so impressed and enjoyed our visit so much that we went back for our anniversary two nights later to have some champagne and apps before another dinner reservation. You can't go wrong with a meal at Golden View!

📍 Golden View Firenze – Florence, Italy 🇮🇹 A stylish riverside restaurant 🍝🍷 with one of the best views of Ponte Vecchio 🌉, especially at sunset 🌅. The large windows make dining here feel special, overlooking the Arno River 🌊 with a golden glow. Menu highlights include fresh seafood 🦑🐟, pasta 🍝, and fine Tuscan wines 🍷. Prices are higher than average 💶, but the combination of food, atmosphere, and the view makes it worthwhile. Service is attentive 😊 and the vibe is elegant yet relaxed. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a memorable evening in Florence. 🙌

It was worst experience i’ve ever had. After two hours, they was trying to move our away in the middle of meal. While i tried several Michelin 3 starred restaurants, i’ve never heard of that kind of rule. Also, when i gave a feedback that i’d had bad experience tonight, she just turned around, took my table napkin, and hurled it harsh against the wall! Her attitude was not acceptable! You would be deserved better even in a causal restaurant. If you are asians or tourists not speaking italian, please avoid this place. Food is not that great either!

We were looking for a very special occasion on the final night of our holiday, and that is precisely what we got. We were looked after beautifully by Marges and his team. Every once in a while you have to splurge on dinner when traveling with your family. A white table cloth, a view, and wait staff can really change the vibe. Here the food, service and extras are all worth the spend. The waiter we had was incredibly personable and helpful with a gluten sensitivity, the food was excellent. Fresh hot gluten free french bread, amazing apps, primi, and secondi, not to mention desserts. I would go back... If you are looking for American sized portions, don't come here. Go get a pizza.

Visited in March 2013 - I slipped in at the very tail end of Sunday lunch, a lucky seat on a coffee table in the corner while families lingered over their courses. The room buzzed with three generations sharing the ceremony of weekend dining - a joy to watch as much as to join. I went straight for their signature raviolini with pecorino and pear, a dish flagged in Frommers and Lonely Planet. It was almost perfect: pasta delicate, pear subtle, pecorino seasoning just shy of brilliance (9.5/10). Lamb chops with artichokes and rocket brought good quality meat and crisp coating, though it wanted more seasoning; the artichokes were spot-on (8/10). Dessert was Laura’s recommendation - raspberry cheesecake, creamy yet sharp, crumb with a hint of savoury, a lovely close with espresso (8.5/10). Coquinarius hits that balance of stylish but relaxed, where you can watch the rhythm of Florentine family life unfold around the food.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So glad we found this place during our Florence stay! The atmosphere is warm and intimate, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. The pear ravioli was as delicious, and unique. The filletto was the best steak I ate while in Florence, and the seasonal mushrooms were a solid add-on.

I wasn't very impressed by this place, it's definitely very geared towards tourists. It was a recommended restaurant, but I found it to be lacking. The menu was limited the food was mediocre. The food felt very heavy in my stomach even the next day and I did not enjoy it. It seems the owner does not like when people leave honest reviews, even questioning whether people actually ate there or not, but I can assure you that I did eat there and you probably shouldn't.

We came to here for dinner. The atmosphere was great 👍 The swordfish carpaccio, paired with salad greens, fresh fennel, and pink grapefruit, was exquisite — the peppercorns added a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The main course, Millefoglie di Cecina, a refined tower of codfish layered with chickpeas, spinach, and a velvety purple cabbage purée, proved to be another remarkable surprise The beef tenderloin, paired with foie gras, created a perfect harmony of flavors on the palate

Konnubio is an elegant Italian restaurant located next to Basilica di San Lorenzo in a stylish and intimate setting. The architecture inside the restaurant is a blend of modern finishes with natural light and openness, as well as intimate corners with dark features, perfect for a romantic meal. The place offers a complete dining experience from breakfast to after-dinner cocktails. Chef Beatrice Segoni's culinary skills have earned the restaurant a Michelin star, offering international dishes with an Italian touch.
Excellent service, staff welcomed us with free appetizer and offer good suggestions for seafood lovers and for vegetarians. The food is INCREDIBLE, one of the best restaurants we have been to. The dinner was well portioned, fresh and flavourful (octopus and linguine pasta). The dessert was unique and had layers of flavour (yogurt based with honey and fruit). Would definitely recommend for special dinner in Florence.

Beautifully presented dishes with a creative touch and a menu full of flavor. The cocktails are classic, the wine list is extensive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. While I enjoyed the food overall, my main course was slightly overpowered by a vinegary sauce, and the wait for the check was unusually long. That aside, I’d still recommend the place.

⭐ Konnubio Firenze – 5/5 An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! 🌟 Konnubio truly reminded us what fine dining should feel like — not only beautifully presented dishes, but real passion, balance, and creativity in every bite. We came as a family (2 adults and 2 children, 12 and 14), and the team treated us with genuine kindness and attention. Every plate was refined, full of flavour, and perfectly portioned — a real pleasure for both the eyes and the palate. The quality is amazing — truly worthy of a Michelin star! ✨ The price perfectly matches the quality, which is rare these days. The restaurant itself is simple and elegant in style, yet the dishes are modern, inventive, and full of personality. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, the service warm and professional, and the value for money exceptional. For €140 for 4 people, we enjoyed a true gastronomic dinner, far beyond our expectations. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable evening — we left with smiles and the desire to come back again soon. 💫 Highly recommended to anyone visiting Florence and looking for authentic quality, elegance, and sincerity.

I started with a steamed bun with roasted pork belly that was light and full of flavor and for my main I had the roasted chicken with green spring onion sauce which also was truly moist & flavorful (and we all know how bland chicken can sometimes be!). My husband enjoyed a simple mixed salad. We were both quite pleased! The staff is lovely and attentive and the space is beautiful and bright without being overwhelming.

Konnubio is an absolute gem. From start to finish, the evening was a feast for all the senses — the elegant presentation, the incredible aromas, the welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly, the unforgettable flavours. I had the whipped cod starter and the tortelli with basil béchamel — both were phenomenal, and I couldn’t choose a favourite if I tried. Trust the Chef’s Choice; you won’t regret it. A special mention to my server, John Lucca Cuccu (apologies if I’ve spelled his name wrong), who made the experience even more extraordinary through his kind and attentive service. My favourite restaurant in Florence — highly recommend, and I’ll definitely return.

We were treated phenomenally. The food was very very good. Thankful to the vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant was beautiful. And they have an extensive wine list.

I don't often write reviews, but Konnubio deserves praise. The professionalism is evident in both food and service. And the ambience is great! We tried the tasting menus, and we were lucky enough that the kitchen could accommodate us in trying two different ones. Both The Land and The Sea menus were excellent. The presentation of the dishes was exquisite, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating the menus.

INCREDIBLE! The best meal we ate in Florence by a distance. My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and we were delighted by the friendly service, rich but balanced flavours, and fine, unexpected touches - such as the amouse bouche and the mini cocktail to end dinner. Please try Konnubio!

Da Nerbone is a popular food stand located on the ground floor of the Mercato di San Lorenzo in Florence, Italy. It attracts both tourists and locals with its traditional Tuscan dishes, including the famous lampredotto sandwich, which can be enjoyed with classic condiments like salsa verde and spices. The market itself offers a wide variety of Tuscan produce such as olive oil, truffles, salami, and cheese.
If you are in the marceto you have to try this shop. I tried panini labrettoto and panini porchetta! Amazing, both of them. Ita an experience you need to try if you are close. Try labrettoto if you are a fun of belly. If not try other pieces.

It was our first snack we had in Florence. It was an amazing choice to kick start you day with one of those. The flavour was good even if you are not friends of inserts. It was rich in flavour and soft in texture. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Nothing quite hits the spot like a lampredotto sandwich (cow innards) on a cold Italian winter morning. Try it while you are here. No funky taste and quite delicious. Located in the beautiful piazza del mercato a must visit landmark in Florence

Good place to try lampredotto. I was fully happy. Came here twice to try lampredotto as plate dish and as sandwich. Liked it both times. Tasted good at this place. I think it is recommended somewhere because there are a lot of Asians. A lot a lot. You can sit there but the atmosphere is not good. But as a quick bite I can fully recommend it

“Da Nerbone in Florence is a beautiful historic market hall with amazing food. Great dishes, lots of variety, and a classic, authentic market atmosphere – definitely worth a visit.”
JPX P — Google review
Cheap and plain food. We ordered the “menu of the day” not hoping to get any fancy meals, something simple but well seasoned at least. All the food was dry, the amount of sauce was almost non existent. Tourist trap for sure
Natalia S — Google review
It's just ok... I got the Stracotto, and it was somewhat tasty, but also just straight up cold. Honestly you should look for other places if you want actually good food...
Ishaan K — Google review
It’s definitely an experience: a super busy street-food stand popular with tourists. The food is very famous online, but in reality it’s nothing extraordinary. However, the prices are incredibly cheap compared to the Florence average. Despite the rush, the staff is always friendly. Go early, otherwise you risk missing out on the "Lampredotto", as it sells out quickly. If I return to Florence, I’d try it again—it's a great spot for a budget-friendly lunch break.

Buca Lapi, the oldest restaurant in Florence, is a place where tradition and history come alive. Its ancient cellars exude an atmosphere that takes you back to old Florence, with walls steeped in stories of the past. The restaurant's signature dish, the 'Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci al Burro e Salvia,' is not just a recipe but a legacy passed down through generations.
This restaurant is a 5 star expirence from start to finish. First off, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful with romantic lighting and posters all over the walls. The waiters are so professional and kind and the food - it will be the best meal you eat in florence. The steak is so tender with a perfectly seared exterior. The sides of cannelloni beans and mashed potatoes are just divine. This is good food done right! I highly recommend dining here if looking for an upscale experience in Florence for the best steak in the city!
DC F — Google review
The food here is absolutely amazing. Staff are quick paced and food came out fast. Seatings are also comfortable. The beef tripe is soft and soaked up all the sauces, absolutely delicious. The tomato ribbon pasta is fresh and sweet. The beef is also soft and tender, and the calelloni is very delicious as well. Everything is amazing here. Highly recommended!

Recently in Florence and wanted a Florentine Steak. Reviews say this is the place…and they were right. The food and atmosphere is old world Italian. The owner made a great attempt to get me in after being fully reserved. If you’re looking for authentic Italian and atmosphere, this is the place.
Patrick B — Google review
We ended up making a dinner reservation for the next day at the insistence of my husband, with the help of friendly gentleman who we assumed was the owner. The classic bistecca was the best I’ve had in the city, and the potatoes were also delicious. For variety, we ordered the cannelloni as well. All the dishes, along with the recommended red wine pairing, were fantastic. If we come back to Florence, we’d definitely love to eat here again.
Deniz Y — Google review
Food and service were great. We got the cannelloni, wild boar pappardelle, florentine steak with spinach and potatoes and chicken cacciatore. The steak was really rare but I think that’s just how the Florentine steak is served.
Paige H — Google review
Amazing food, nicest people in all of Florence, authentic beautiful place. I ordered the braised beef with onions and polenta, and it was amazing. The house wine from Chianti is made of Syrah grapes and it goes very well with meat and in general is amazing. They have a chocolate cake for dessert, that you won’t believe it doesn’t contain any sugar, eggs or flour!! 10/10 for everything. Will come back for sure.
Nikol K — Google review
Buca Lapi was the food highlight of our visit to Florence. Every element of the experience was excellent. First, the service was stellar from the moment we arrived. Our server, Franca, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and professional. She helped us choose a wonderful bottle of wine (picture included) and explained the menu in great detail. Next, the food was amazing -- we loved the pasta (tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms), chicken cacciatore, and Florentine steak.. Make sure you visit this restaurant when you stay in Florence -- you won't regret it (especially if Franca is your server).
Joseph W — Google review
Had an amazing dinner at Buco Lapi, and they managed to squeeze us in on Friday night which was very kind! It gives off a charming and authentic vibe and the interiors are very photogenic. We had the house red which was delightful and wanted to share each course, which the waiter understood, with each dish arriving on separate plates. We started with the bruschetta which was delicious and made with very high quality ingredients. Then we had the soft and pillowy spincach gnocchi in a sage butter that was to die for, the gnocchi were a bit too soft for my liking, but that’s just me! Then came the most deliciously flavoured juicy steak I’ve ever had the please of eating, it was tender and smoky, just how you want a steak to taste! Unfortunately, and the only reason I hesitate to give Buca Lapi a 5 star, is that we had asked for our steak medium rare and it came much more in the medium side… which for a €70 steak, you’d expect to have it cooked to order. Still very delicious nonetheless!

Vinandro Vino e Desco Molle is a charming spot in Fiesole, Italy, where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of an old Tuscan tavern. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes and a wide selection of wines to complement your meal. It's a great place to unwind and savor the local cuisine while lounging over a glass of wine at long wooden tables in the dimly lit interior.
Small little spot in the main square. Came here for lunch amidst a rain storm and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and authentic. I tried their beef tartare and duck ragu. Both were fantastic and memorable.

Vinandro is the best, the girls and Marco were amazing staff and honestly the best meal I’ve had in Italy. Their Tuscan style beef stew “Vinandro style” was 10/10 and incredible. The overall vibe of the place is so friendly and warm my partner and I kept coming back every night in Fiesole. An unforgettable experience and can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Tuscano! Ciao Regatzzi

The restaurant is located in the main square providing central location, the staff is very welcoming and helpful, the food is good for the tourist standard.
Luca S — Google review
We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. Sadly the food, whilst fresh and freshly cooked, was poorly presented and for the most part very bland and lacking taste. The risotto was tasteless as was the ravioli stuffed with potato, but the rabbit stew that accompanied it was fine. But the main culprit was the cow cheek on toast starter. It was completely covered in a thick layer of homemade garlic mayonnaise that was so strong it was inedible and ruined the dish. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If you are from the UK it's very much not what we are used too from family Italian restaurants.

We stayed nearby and went here every single night during our visit to Fiesole. Didn’t even want to try anywhere else - we knew it wouldn’t be as good. The food the service the atmosphere. Well priced for the food quality. We will come back to town just to visit again!

Great spot on the piazza, food was fantastic, special shout out for the torta della nonna, went back for seconds on that. It seemed we were the only table to not get the arrival prosecco that every other table was getting, it's no issue but it can seem alienating when all the other tables seemed like locals

Nestled in the enchanting city of Florence, Ristorante Ora d'Aria is a culinary gem that beautifully marries modern Tuscan cuisine with a commitment to sustainability. This Michelin-starred restaurant invites guests into an intimate dining space where each dish tells a story of local ingredients and ethical practices. Under the expert guidance of Chef Marco Stabile, Ora d'Aria showcases themed tasting menus paired with exquisite wines, ensuring every meal is not just food but an experience.
Wow!! Coming from London where we are blessed with many restaraunts and having quite high food standards, we were very impressed with the food and the service. We were able to select our own tasting menu (does not need the whole table to have the same food) which is great so we could try everything they had to offer. Note that they only do red/white bottles by the bottle, but they were able to suggest a wine that would be suitable for both meat and fish dishes. It is a very small and intimate restaraunt with only about 8 tables, and the kitchen is right there and you can see how they operate through the glass window. The kitchen was very professional and also very quiet throughout the meal. Chef Marco Stabile was overseeing everything, and presented us with our wine. He also helped served other food items for other tables, and overall it seemed like he was very passionate about his restaraunt.

We had an incredible experience here with our friends. The dishes were so flavorful and delicious. They start with giving you an option of meat or fish tasting menu. Pairing wine was an option if you like. The service was great as well. The dishes kept getting better and better. My favorite part was the olives desert. I know it sounds weird but that ice cream tasted so smooth and balanced I almost asked for more but we were all so full. The dining room is small and only a few tables which I think it’s a great idea. I was a bit skeptical coming in reading other reviews but i would highly recommend.

I was blown away by our experience at Ora d'Aria. Coming from NYC, we have no shortage of great tasting menu restaurants that absolutely pale in comparison to this one. Every bite we had was exquisite, decadent, and full of flavor. The waiters were knowledgable about the food and the wine, answering all our questions. I'm STILL thinking about this meal. We went on a Wednesday night, and I'm not kidding, the next evening I wanted to cancel our dinner reservation and go back a second night in a row. I absolutely would have done it if they were not closed on Thursdays. Ora d'Aria, thank you so much for a fantastic dining experience.

One of the most beautiful lunches in recent years. I called and 15 minutes later we were in one of the most beautiful places in Florence. A beautiful entrance to the restaurant, a crazy, hand-painted ceiling and great classics in the restaurant. We opted for the fish menu and were incredibly spoiled with the service and the view of a great lunch. We were able to follow the cooking live in the kitchen and were spoiled with great courses. The atmosphere couldn't have been better, the food was exciting and incredibly tasty. I can only say that it was a very relaxed lunch of a very high standard. Thank you to the team, thank you to the chef, Marco Stabile, you have enchanted us and from now on we are big fans of yours.

We stopped here for lunch and this fine dining gem exceeded all expectations. The tasting menu was a culinary journey—from the delicate sea bass carpaccio to the perfectly seared veal. Each dish was presented beautifully, almost too pretty to eat! The sommelier suggested wines that complemented every course. The atmosphere is intimate, and you really feel like the chefs put heart into every plate.
Simran P — Google review
Ora d’Aria was exceptional. The service was flawless and every dish delivered pure pleasure. The lobster pasta was the best I’ve ever had, and the Normandy butter with anchovy was unforgettable. The beef with its cauliflower crust was incredible, and the cod was simple on the surface but the orange reduction gave it real depth. They even brought out complimentary biscuits that melted in my mouth. Watching the chef work in the open kitchen added something special. You can feel his calm, steady presence in every detail. This place deserves six stars.
Ronit M — Google review
If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Florence, Ora d’Aria delivers. This Michelin-starred restaurant is elegant without being stuffy. We went for the tasting menu, which was a beautifully curated journey through Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist. Standout dishes included the roasted pigeon with pear and the handmade pasta with smoked butter and anchovy. Every plate was a work of art, and the service was impeccable – attentive but never intrusive. The wine pairing was spot on and featured some lovely regional selections. The interior is modern and minimal, with large windows that let in beautiful natural light during lunch. It’s pricier than most (€100+ per person), but the quality and attention to detail justify every cent. It’s close to the Uffizi but tucked away on a quiet street, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. Perfect for a romantic evening or a celebratory meal. Definitely one of the most refined meals I've ever had in Italy.
Torres — Google review
Upon entering the restaurant, the entrance has an amazing walkway of fairy lights that make for an amazing photo. Once through, the dining room abruptly starts and you are left standing there confused until one of the waiters acknowledges you to seat you. On the night we went, there were only two other tables and we were placed next to the entrance such that we couldn't see into the kitchen. That night, they were training a waiter so we had a weird experience of one waiter with amazing service and attentiveness and another where you would not expect for fine dining (Not pouring water for you, not explaining the dishes, not cleaning up the plates and table after each dish etc.). Apart from that, food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed each meal. We opted to select one meat and one seafood course so that we could try one of each dish. Each course brilliantly highlights the local Tuscan cuisine so you won't miss out whatever you choose. Given the restaurant is of such a high calibre, we were expecting both the service and food to be perfect. This was probably a once-off issue but unfortunately was our experience coming all the way from Australia looking forward to fine dining in Italy!

iO - Osteria Personale offers a modern and elegant take on Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting with rustic elements. Chef Matteo Fantini's unconventional approach to dining in Florence's Oltrarno district has resulted in a unique culinary experience. The restaurant features minimalist decor, seasonal menus, and an option for customized tastings.
Michelin recommended spot which is still up and coming. The staff are phenomenal, and their team is what puts them ahead. Tasting menu is choose your own adventure. Many of the dishes lack a bit of dimensionality. The beef tartar, for example, is paired with mayo and is lacking some potent flavors to grab tasting buds. The squid risotto is extra earthy. They can build out the flavor profile of both dishes. The only technical issue was the popcorn in the dessert was not fresh.. it was soft. Their wine menu is extensive and their somm helpful. The by the glass options are not high quality/hi value, and you will need to choose a bottle if you want good wine. The exception is the desert offerings. All in, not bad value. Will come back in a few years to see how things have progressed.

One of the best meals we had in Florence! Get 6 plates and customize to your liking. Cuttlefish & Fregula pasta as well as the smoked butter mackerel pasta entirely changed my perspective on what pasta could be. Also their olive oil w/ Itrana Olives is to die for, best olive oil we had all trip.

Super good restaurant serving italian dishes with a modern twist. If you want something which is not necessarily traditional food, but more so an experience this is the place to go. Beautiful ambiance, good service and tasty food.
Fanni H — Google review
Intimate spot with a great ambiance, offering both à la carte and tasting menu options. The one catch: all guests at the table must choose the same appetizer, first, and second course—only the dessert can be selected individually. The dishes are rooted in tradition but feature creative, modern twists. Cocktails lean classic, the service was warm and attentive, and the wine pairings were perfectly on point. One small suggestion: the first course (can’t recall the name) was overwhelmed by tarragon leaves—they gave it an odd, almost soup-like flavor. We ended up pushing them aside.

The food was refined, tasty and creative, it deserved 5 stars. (We didn't try desserts) On the other hand, the service was way too long...! What a pity and definitively not on the level of the quality of the food. As for the drinks, Pinot rouge is from a good Winnery (San Michele Appiano) but was served too warm (ambiant temperature in August around 28°). I'm sommelier in a Parisian palace and it's hard to be told it has 2 ways to be served (which can be true for some wines, not all though...) and more seriously not during summertime. Red wines of terroirs like pinots & gamay (light and young) are ideal around 14-16°c, otherwise it becomes a basic heavy fat taste. Such a shame and sacrilege for a good wine like this and with such good food...

Nestled in the picturesque Montebeni area, just beyond Fiesole, Ristorante Tullio a Montebeni is a delightful culinary gem that beckons food lovers. This charming trattoria, once an old grocery store, has been lovingly transformed into a cozy dining space featuring two intimate rooms. The ambiance retains its rustic charm with an original wood-burning fireplace still in use today. The menu showcases authentic Tuscan cuisine with standout dishes like spaghetti cavalieri and tortelli alla mugellana.
I wanted a restaurant out of Florence city center. Unfortunately, for 2 days in Florence, i was completely disappointed in the food and service. Generally, food was under expectations, service is not good and prices were high. But this is not true with Tullio. Firstly, the road up to the restaurant was interesting and allowed us to explore more of Florence than we normally would. Although we dropped on them without reservation on a Friday night, we were seated. People were very friendly. We had their classic starters which were massive and delicious. We thought we ordered one but 2 were served, probably a miscommunication. We had a classic steak and a spaghetti with red sauce which were very good. Cheese cake was delicious. Now i know that the restaurants in the city center are mostly overrated and only made for tourists.

Caffè dell'Oro is a stylish venue offering refined Tuscan classics and wine with stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River. Located in Florence, this bistro restaurant is part of the luxurious Lungarno Collection hotel chain. The elegant yet peaceful bar provides an ideal setting to enjoy a pre-dinner wine or a post-Uffizi wind-down drink.
Last night my husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dining experience. Every single aspect of our evening was perfect. The service was professional and discreet, the food was beautifully cooked and presented and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a bonus that there was no piped music, so we could hear a very talented musician playing on the Ponte Vecchio. We have a few more nights in Florence and will definitely book a table for dinner before we leave.

Ilania and also Christopher were so nice and very supportive. Food was amazing the place is perfect location. Such a wonderful short stay and rest here. Plus: They are so dog friendly that my dog wants to stay here for a long time!

Absolutely outstanding breakfast spread in the morning. Loads of options from pastries, cheese, granola, Yogurts, breads, spreads, meats as well as fresh egg options that you can order from the kitchen. We also ate lunch in the restaurant upon arrival and really enjoyed their signature pasta and the chicken with fresh vegetables. Service was always attentive and both the dining room and the patio seating have spectacular views of the Ponte Vecchio.

On of the nicest restaurants in Florence. Right on the Arno River and a few hundred feet below the Famous Ponte Vecchio bridge. Michelin star and deservedly so. What a treat to sit outside and enjoy the music and all the locals and travelers walk by.

I had breakfast at Café Del Oro in Florence & Beautiful — the table, ambience, the breakfast….. Christopher was genuinely kind, making the experience feel personal and special & made it one of my favorite mornings in Italy! Beautiful experience, a gem in Florence. After travel, it was the perfect morning — slow, peaceful, and full of light. Right on the river, it feels like something out of a painting. The café has a way of making coffee feel like a little love story. ☕️🌸

Caffè dell’Oro was the highlight of our time in Florence — a perfect blend of elegance, warmth, and true Italian hospitality. The food was extraordinary, but what really made the evening unforgettable were the people. Our host, Christopher, welcomed us like old friends and set the tone for the night with his charm and effortless professionalism. He made sure every detail was perfect — from our table overlooking the Arno to his thoughtful recommendations that matched exactly what we were in the mood for. And Catalina, the wine steward, was simply exceptional. Her knowledge of Italian wines is remarkable, and her enthusiasm is contagious. She guided us through a perfect pairing that elevated each course, introducing us to local vintages we would have never discovered on our own. The combination of exquisite food, an unbeatable view of the Ponte Vecchio, and the gracious team led by Christopher and Catalina made this one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re in Florence, don’t miss Caffè dell’Oro — it’s everything you hope a Florentine evening will be.

La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo is a culinary gem nestled in the hills of Florence, housed within a stunning 15th-century building that once belonged to the Davanzati family. This enchanting restaurant, designed by the talented Santi di Tito, offers an exquisite dining experience with creative Tuscan dishes. La Loggia is the single best experience I have had. The view is absolutely beautiful, right off the Piazzale Michelangelo. Service is top notch, attention to detail like I’ve never seen before. The food was fresh, flavorful, perfect portions, simply one of the best dining experiences i’ve had. I will leave it with this….. I will forever be recommending this establishment to all of my loved ones as a once in a lifetime experience.

We originally planned to come here for the sunset and enjoy a somewhat romantic dinner, but what we experienced was very underwhelming food and a disappointing atmosphere. First, there was no guidance at the counter, so we had to walk inside to find the staff and confirm our reservation. Our table was not in an open-air space but instead separated from the view by a plastic covering, which really took away from the ambiance. On top of that, there was live singing, but unfortunately it felt more like karaoke practice than a performance, the sound quality of the background music was very poor, which made the whole setting awkward. We honestly felt sorry for the singer. As for the food, we ordered pâté, two pasta dishes, and a sea bass. Everything was mediocre at best, with the pâté especially disappointing. Overall, we would not recommend this place for couples looking for a romantic evening.

This place is fantastic. We had great food with excellent service and beautiful views overlooking the city of Firenze. To the manager/owner - we sat at table 25 on 28/09/25 with a reservation for 6 at 6:30pm. Our server was excellent and is a fine example of outstanding service and took excellent care of us. He should be recognized and commended for his hard work and dedication to taking care of customers.

Group of 5 women, walked the long way round from gardin Bardini along the ridge to the Michalangelo terrace. The view was worth the long walk and the terrace bar was beautiful and drinks were very well needed. We had mixtures of beers ,wine and coffee. Some Frittes too! However the toilet was pretty horrendous, that was not ok being a nice up market venue! Otherwise would have been 5 stars

Overpriced but i dont mind cause it has amazing view. I do mind tho that our food came with 60min delay... When i asked what happened they said problem in kitchen... Just that...propably they forgot the order or something.... Although other people ordered just when we sitted and people order after us, all of them got their food faster than us... Problem in kitchen just for us??? And the food wasnt even tasty... So not worth at all. It has his own Parking if you are lucky enough to find a space cause its a bit small.

I think that this is the most underrated restaurant in Florence. The food, the smiling waiters, the view, the fresh air is just mesmerizing. Too bad whenever i come its half empty because the people stay next to the duomo in the center. STRONGLY ADVISE (recommend the Loggia burger)

Momoyama, established in 1998, was the first restaurant in Florence to focus on Japanese cuisine. The venue offers a blend of traditional and fusion dishes, showcasing the story of the Orient through creative reinterpretations. The minimal and modern decor complements the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura rolls, gyoza, udon, and chicken teriyaki.
My girlfriend and I needed to find a spot to have dinner due to an unexpected cancelation in a place nearby. Perhaps by luck or just coincidence, we found this restaurant and fell in love with the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The menu was quite varied, not just in meals but also drinks, cocktails, and dessert. We look forward to a second visit, definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant thus far in Firenze.

This place has a really modern cozy vibe. I would recommend you sit right outside of the garden if you're not a smoker a d do not like to smell smoke especially when eating. The service was on the slower side - the prices were definitely overpriced, but if you don't want Italian food you'll be willing to pay! The rock shrimp was delicious ( a little salty ). The elephant role was fresh!! Can't taste the fish which is great! They also had spicey mayo which I thought being in Italy was a plus!!!

This place was right down the block from my Airbnb, and I got to say It would have been worth a 25 minute walk. Super cute spot, well air conditioned, and perhaps some of the freshest fish I've had in quite some time. Coming from South Florida where we have some of the best sushi around, this place was a welcomed surprise with fantastic salmon nigiri and delicious truffle gyozas. In a city where I was not expecting to be wowed with sushi, this place really hit the spot. Keep up the great work and I will definitely be back.

Gurdulù Gastronomia is a charming farm-to-table deli and restaurant that takes its name from an Italo Calvino character. The place has a retro yet sophisticated ambiance and offers reasonably priced house-made bread, pasta, and cured meats. Their deli counter is stocked with top-quality cheeses, charcuterie, and ready-to-go dishes like gnocchi alla Romana and meatballs in tomato sauce.

I recently visited Gurdulù Gastronomia for a Sunday lunch, and it was an airy, farm-to-table gem. The menu showcased house-made bread and pasta. I particularly enjoyed the terrine, which was excellent. The atmosphere was laid-back yet stylish, enhanced by a great music selection that perfectly complemented the meal. It's a must-visit spot in Florence if you're seeking fresh, innovative takes on Tuscan cuisine.

Innovative dishes that are slightly different and not traditional. If you fancy something authentic, the head elsewhere. However, if you want to try something slightly different then give this place a go. I booked this placed based off various reviews that I've seen off on YouTube and Netflix. I wasn't blown away but it was nice a different. We opted for the A la carte menu, rather than the tasting menu. We had two starters, two mains. This came to around 67 euro.

Heavenly food, wonderful ambiance, and great service! Bread is fantastic, as is the pasta (incredibly creative, I had a dish with black garlic, bottarga, and fava beans)! Love that there's a deli counter as well for a high quality to go meal. Can't wait to try more on the menu next time!

Ristorante Santa Elisabetta is a renowned and intimate restaurant located in a medieval tower, offering innovative Italian-inspired cuisine. The restaurant, with its seven exclusive tables overlooking Piazza Santa Elisabetta, provides gourmet dishes prepared by Chef Rocco De Santis. Guests can choose from an à la carte menu or opt for one of the three tasting menu options consisting of 5, 7, or 9 courses.
My wife and I decided to make Ristorante Santa Elisabetta our special dinner night for our honeymoon and it exceeded all expectations. The food had incredible detail with unique and intricate flavors, the wine pairings with each dish were perfect. Truly a night we’ll never forget thank you!

The food was good, very tasteful and flavorful, it really shows you why they deserve their stars. My favorite were the olive and the dumpling as appetizer, the pasta and the lobster as main. I think those were my favorites not only as they were delicious, but I also think the Chef took his personal style to create something interesting with the ingredients. The deserts were not my favorites, but I’d still recommend the restaurant for a friend, for sure. Regarding services, our waiter Alex was amazing… it was easy to understand what he explained to us, and he’d answer any follow up questions very easily. We had another waiter that was probably training which impacted the experience, but he was very nice and was trying his best.

Let me start by saying we eaten at many Michelin star restaurants in the US and abroad, we are huge foodies. If I can give this place 1000000 stars I would, it was one of the best meals in our lives!! The experience, service, and atmosphere is amazing as well. We did the 9 course tasting menu and every bite was exceptional from the presentation, to the flavor, textures, and depth!! I was beyond stuffed half way through the meal but couldn’t stop eating! If it is in your budget, do yourself a favor and go and get the 9 course tasting menu!!

I chose the seven-course wine pairing menu, and it was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared, and the wines matched every course with remarkable precision. The sea urchin and salted roe pasta was particularly memorable — rich, balanced, and full of depth. It was also my first time trying pigeon, and it was tender and flavorful, without any trace of gaminess. The entire experience lasted about four hours, yet it felt perfectly paced and immersive. After visiting the Uffizi Gallery, enjoying this dinner felt like the most elegant way to unwind. I not only enjoyed every moment but also learned so much about wine pairing throughout the evening.

This afternoon, my wife and I went to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We are visiting Florence and chose this two-Michelin-starred restaurant to create a wonderful memory. The service at the restaurant was outstanding, and the two staff members provided us with a flawless dining experience. We ordered the CHEF EXPERIENCE, which consisted of nine courses. However, including the desserts, we ended up enjoying over twenty different dishes. It felt like this culinary feast was endless, filled with constant surprises. Every dish reflected the chef’s dedication, and both the presentation and the flavors, along with their complexity, were absolutely perfect!
Sinyu H — Google review
Peak fine dining experience. The location alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of Florence inside Hotel Brunelleschi, in a tower, they have very limited seating. The reservation process alone was an adventure in itself. Our visit was to celebrate 3 Libra birthdays. Our party of 4 opted for the 9 courses. One of us decided to do the wine pairing. When I tell you, there was so much food. We would’ve probably been better off doing the 7 courses, but we wanted to eat everything. We were all falling asleep by the end of the night. One was nonstop yawning. To the unfamiliar, they focus more on seafood. Every dish is out of this world. Down to the presentation. I savored every bite. The standout for me was the oyster and how it came in two parts. It was so innovative. I loved the sauces that accented the protein and the jus. Don’t even get me started on the service. What an attentive team. I always refer to it as poetry in motion the way the team moves effortlessly that you don’t even realize when they refill your glass of water. No crumb was left behind on that table. Someone scraped up anything that didn’t belong on the table after every course. Lastly, I just want to mention what a great job they did with the birthday cake that was an add-on to our meal. It was so damn good. Grazie Chef Rocco and team for an amazing meal.

Seafood restaurant
Marina Di Santospirito is a renowned restaurant located in the heart of Florence, offering a high gastronomic experience with a unique view of Ponte Vecchio. The executive chef, Claudio Mengoni, presents a sincere cuisine that combines creativity and rigor to create memorable flavors.
This is an excellent place for seafood lovers. The dishes were well thought out and the flavors interesting in a good way. The service was attentive and they were very patient and served an aperitif before my starter. The environment was cozy but also classy. The place was very packed and although I did not have a reservation, they made an effort to accommodate. And during my time there, people kept coming. I definitely recommend this place. Note that you will be extremely limited in your options if you are not into seafood. And it is not an overly casual place.

The best fish I ever had, easily. Buttery rich salt cooked dish that did not disappoint. Tried the tastings menu and every dish presented deep flavors and showed how much they care about their food.
Jeremy B — Google review
This was one of the best meals of our Italy trip. This place books up quick so I recommend getting a reservation as soon as you can. We had a reservation for 9:30pm (or so we thought). Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner who asked if we had a reservation, when I showed him the email I thought was the confirmation he asked if I received a separate confirmation email (which I did not). When he realized this he made accomodations anyway and was able to seat us right away. When we sat down they gave us complementary white wine and let us know if we want more to just ask. The service was prompt compared to other restaurants we visited, each of the waitresses were constantly checking on multiple tables and making sure all guests were taken care of. In terms of food, we ordered the cuttlefish in black ink sauce over white corn meal, scampi saffron pasta and the lobster cooked in salt. In addition to this, to our surprise, they brought us a complimentary appetizer 1st that was cuttlefish dressed in a light olive oil, lemon sauce along with bread. Each dish we had was incredible. All the seafood was fresh and cook perfectly with great flavor. We especially loved the main lobster dish which came with two large prawns on top of it which was not mentioned on the menu at all. Once we went to pay, the woman gave us the itemized bill which was accurate and decided to take off an additional 5 euros for no real reason. Overall this restaurant gave us exceptional service and amazing seafood. It felt like it was ran by a family dedicated on giving a memorable experience. Definitely recommend.

We had a truly special and amazing meal here. A beautiful understanding of seafood and its optimal preparations. A prawns with truffle dish surprised us; the tasting menu was filled with happy surprises. Add to that a vibrant atmosphere away from the touristy parts of town and you have something really special. Big thumbs Don’t just get t bone steak in Florence. Florence is known for seafood as well! Their raw tasting menu is better than sashimi!
Eva D — Google review
I found this place using Chat GPT and it was a great suggestion for seafood lovers. The dishes we shared were great, but the clear winner was the salt-baked fish! An absolute must to order!
Faron D — Google review
We chose this restaurant based on its raving reviews, and for a change to our previous meat heavy Tuscan diet. Upon our arrival we received a complimentary glass of wine. The place opened at 20:00 and seemed to be almost fully booked. The atmosphere is cozy and tight, the staff on the floor composed of two young girls and the owner. We both decided to go with the tasting menu without the extra raw seafood option. And also got a bottle of white wine to go with it. The first dish was baby octopus, which was uneventful in flavour. Then we had raw shrimp with truffles sitting on grated dry carrots, the only prevalent flavour was the truffle which overpowered the dish, and the carrots added nothing but pollution to the plate. This is when we first started to express our dissatisfaction with the unmet expectations, to which the young waitress was very receptive and we received a dish, outside of the planned menu as an apology. As much as we greatly appreciated the gesture, this „compensatory“ dish, was equally underwhelming, presented as a raw shrimp on unwashed and unseasoned salad, with a single slice of kiwi, which was neither prepared in any way, nor complemented the sea food. Upon being asked if the dish was to our liking, and we expressed our opinion, the owner started to get preoccupied with making us happy. We considered deviating from the original menu, but decided to give the restaurant and the chef a chance and continued with it. The next fish was cuttlefish which was alright. Then the food took a more positive turn, my partner really enjoyed the pasta and the whole fish with asparagus, courgette and potato was also very much to our liking. Regardless, the restaurant is presenting itself as an elevated culinary experience, yet fails to achieve the flavour compositions, and meticulous attention to detail required. While we do appreciate the compensation and the attempt to make us happy, this restaurant falls short in many ways.
Mia R — Google review
The first few dishes were borderline unenjoyable. Which we communicated to the staff. The owner was nice enough to offer us some compensatory dishes, but also said something along the lines of "they just don't appreciate raw food". Out of the many dishes that we ate, with the menu and the extras, most were very unimpressive, one was lovely which was the fish cooked in salt. Compensation is a nice effort but I would prefer consistency and quality to begin with. The desperation to hold on to a high google review instead of confidence in the establishment is not a good look. Would not return.
RG's S — Google review
The best seafood meal I have ever had. We had the full course tasting selection, including the raw items. The range of flavours was sublime — extremely fresh and flavourful. The staff is very warm and helpful. We paired the meal with their recommendation of a Hauner Salina bianco wine — it was a perfect pairing and really enhanced the experience. The salted seabass was a very special way to end the meal before dessert. Highly recommended, enjoy!

Executive chef Ariel Hagen and the culinary team curate a gastronomic journey using the finest ingredients. The restaurant exudes a house-party vibe while ensuring privacy for guests.
Amazing experience. They have a special vegetarian menu which all comes from their farm to table mission. Each dish was well thought out and not a typical vegetarian substitute as we’ve had at other Michelin star restaurants. The staff was amazing and the chef Ariel also came by to introduce himself which was very thoughtful. If you are Florence (and especially if you are vegetarian) this is a must try!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Saporium Firenze, and the entire experience was memorable from start to finish. Nestled in a refined and beautifully curated setting, the restaurant immediately stands out for its atmosphere – elegant yet warm, with an attention to design that sets the tone for what’s to come. The service was truly impeccable. From the welcome to the final goodbye, the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always professional, without ever being too formal. Every detail was carefully managed, making us feel genuinely looked after throughout the evening. We decided to go all in and try all three tasting menus – vegan, seafood, and meat – and it turned out to be a fantastic way to explore the full range of the chef’s creativity. The presentation of each course was visually stunning, with a clear focus on seasonality, balance, and technique. Most dishes were truly excellent – refined yet flavorful, innovative without being excessive. There were a couple of courses that felt a bit less convincing in terms of flavor combinations or impact, but these were rare exceptions in an otherwise impressive sequence. A special mention goes to the cocktail bar next door, owned by the same team. We highly recommend arriving a bit earlier and enjoying a pre-dinner drink there. The mixology is on point, the ambiance is sophisticated, and it sets the mood perfectly for the evening ahead. In summary, Saporium is a fine dining experience that lives up to expectations – thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the care put into each dish, the beautiful setting, and a staff that clearly takes pride in what they do. We had a wonderful evening and we’re happy to recommend it to anyone looking for something special in Florence.

Truly one of the best meals of my life — if not the best. The pigeon agnolotto with caviar and cream is a dish I’ll be dreaming about until I can come back one day. The atmosphere is so beautiful and the pace of the meal was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for creating such an experience!

Wife and I came here while in Florence for a week and this was by far the worst meal I had. We pad 660 euro for the 10 course tasting menu and annoyingly was pitched an upgrade for caviar which happen to be the best part of the meal. To start we walk in and the host who barely could hear as he whispered sat us at our table. We then sat there for about 5 mins then they ask us to go to the bar which you have to go outside and in another door to get 3 drinks that were mediocre at best. Finally after sweating at the bar lounge that take us back outside and sit us at our table again. Then proceeded to sale pitch us caviar which I expected to be apart of the experience at 215 per person. We agree without regret as it was the what part of this experience.we even meet the Chef and he was there for the first dish to come out. The entire meal we were literally sweating because the restaurant was so hot that we were using our water glasses to cool us down . We then get served our first dish. Was a solid 7.5 out 10. Well following that not a single thing was good. Literally every dish was disappointing and nothing went together. We couldn’t hear a single thing they told us about the dishes so after 3 dishes and asking them to repeat themselves we gave up and just took it as is. The waiters literally whispered to you . They were all nice and polite but it drove us crazy. So anyways we keep getting dishes and nit a single thing was what you expected from a Michelin star restaurant. One dish still stands out and not in a good way it was 3 pastas with a mussel on top of each. Absolutely terrible. The mussels were dry and rubbery. I couldn’t even eat em. I spit the one I ate out and let the servers take it. When I told em how I felt they argued and seemed annoyed . And my wife felt exactly the same about the dish . 0-10. Got few more dishes that I can’t remember that’s how little awe they gave to arrive to the final dish. A horrible cut of steak that had fat that wasn’t edible on it and no flavor. Was extremely chewy. Not what you’d expect. We didn’t finish this dish either . The entire experience was such a let down as this was our fist Michelin star dinner and nothing was good. The united flights food stood out more than any dish we received. My wife emailed them and pretty much was told that our opinion doesn’t matter. I won’t ever recommend a single person here and would love to be refunded if possible. This was the worst food we had in our entire 9 days in Italy without a doubt . The restaurant was beautiful and being able to watch the cooks was awesome but the food itself was the biggest let down I’ve ever experienced in a high quality restaurant.

This was one of our best meals in Florence. The staff and kitchen take great care in providing a complete dining experience. The food is farm to table and tries to go for very inventive plating and presentation as well as bold taste. The food is outstanding but we can't wait for the young chef to continue to mature so will be back here in 5 years to try it again. We got 2 different tasting menus to try an array of dishes and will say the chef does the meat one better than the seafood based one. The service was very attentive, unintrusive and exceptional.

My husband and I were in Florence for our anniversary and were lucky enough to obtain a lunch reservation at Saporium. Given the intimate nature of the seating, it seems the dinner reservations would go quickly. The atmosphere and staff are incredible. The pride they have in what they do can be seen in every careful and thoughtful action and interaction with each guest. The decor is relaxing and serene, as if in the garden the delicious meals are being prepared from. Everyone was incredibly attentive and the pace of meal was completely on point. We have been to Michelin star restaurants across the US and Italy, I have to say I was shocked that they don’t have more Michelin stars with how delectable the food is. Saporium is only rivaled in my opinion by Eric Ripert’s La Bernardin. We tried the chefs tasting menu, which was a cross amongst their other tasting menu options. Every course was as delicious as the last, not one of our ten courses disappointed. The flavors were perfectly harmonized and danced across our taste buds with every new bite. We could have stayed for hours, continuing to be treated to this culinary gift. We will be back to Florence and most certainly back to Saporium Firenze as we cannot wait to try a dinner service!

Presentation and service deserving of its Michelin star!! Nikola, Ricardo and chef Ariel 👍🏻 each dish was professionally served with Ariel’s finishing touch and described by Ricardo. Flavour can be confusing as there are too many different components in play. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and service was impeccable. The butter and bread is to die for!! Loved the kale risotto! Scampi had a nice charred flavour. Interesting presentation of the desserts!

Alcedo is a charming pastry shop in Fiesole that comes highly recommended by locals and visitors alike. The bakery offers a delectable selection of cakes, pastries, and savory treats that cater to every palate. One must-try item is the torta della nonna, a delightful soft shortcrust pastry filled with thick custard that promises to redefine your idea of heavenly desserts.
Loved this place, from the spherical chandeliers, to graphic bakery posters, to the efficient ladies, to the coffees and alcohol served — it's a homey vibe. Their sandwiches were delicious too and came with more vegetables than the normal Florentine bakery sandwiches. We came here twice in one day!

This place was the highlight day. The staff were so welcoming and a croissant, latte and chocolate bob bob treat totalled only 5 euros. I will be back for sure.

Alcedo deserve 6*****. Better than the childhood neighborhood bakeries, perfect pastries and a sacher torte with character. Two remarkably efficient women staff a steady line of locals coming for Sunday treats. The best eclair with real homemade cream Ever.

We stayed in Fiesole recently and visited the bakery daily. Good are freshly baked and delicious. A wide selection of pastries, cakes and cookies. Coffee is made well. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Always have a broad smile and happy to explain what is in their selection of pastries and cookies. Service is effortless even when busy. My daily choice was a croissant and coffee. We tried the Torta del Nonna and it was the most delicious dessert I have ever tasted. Almonds on top with a custard filling. A must try. Biscuits were divine. I could happily be locked up in this shop and joyously eat my way through everything.

I almost hate to review this little gem of a place for fear it will be overrun with visitors who will buy up my favourite cookies, but they deserve the 5 stars. Every time I go to Fiesole, I make sure to stop here, rain or shine. In the winter, they have a tiny bar with coffee and hot chocolate and a small seating area. Whether I buy one indulgent cookie or the whole bag, the pistachio-raspberry with shortbread is the best cookie I've ever had. Its combination of textures (soft almond paste centre over a pleasing shortbread base, studded with whole pistachios and topped off with a generous dollop of raspberry jam) make it unforgettable, and because it's not too sweet, you'll find yourself eating the whole dang thing - and they are hefty! The staff are quite friendly, so be sure to try out your best Italian. It goes a long way. If you happen to go there, please leave some for me. Better yet, don't go and leave it just as it is without lineups! ;)

Stopped in during an e-bike tour to Fiesole. Best.pastry.ever. Fresh and tastes home made. The workers were so friendly. Worth it to make a stop there.

There isn’t a place authentically more Italian. The biscotti are amazing (and very well renowned in fiesole), the coffee is pretty well done, the interior is like you are walking in to a pastry shop in 1985. Do stop by for a little treat! There is also a few seats but only comfy for a quick ‘bite and go’.

Ristorante BISTROT AL 5 is a charming eatery that truly embodies the essence of local cuisine, focusing on fresh, organic ingredients sourced right from Fiesole. The menu features delightful dishes crafted with care, such as a starter of 24-month-aged sheep's milk pecorino cheese and seasonal ravioli filled with summer favorites like eggplant and grilled tomatoes. Guests rave about the inviting outdoor seating and attentive service that enhances the dining experience.
Can’t believe this sparkling gem of a gastronomic experience in the center of tiny Fiesole. Superior flavors, creative combinations, wild freshness, and sublime atmosphere. Top it all with faces that smile when you arrive and feel like friends when you depart.

This is indeed a gem of a restaurant. I've been here twice, and both times were stellar. Some reviewers call this the best restaurant in the Florence area, and I agree. Every aspect of this restaurant is tremendous, but the secret ingredient, so to speak, is the fresh quality of the produce used. I had the pollo cacciatore, a commonplace Italian dish (see the uploaded photo) that was simply other-worldly--a whole new level. Now that I have had theirs, I can't imagine eating my version!
Darrow Z — Google review
Still as good as ever! We ate at Bistro al 5 for the first time in 2023 and the quality is still the same in 2024, if not better. The carrot velouté is exquisite, the tagliata literally melts in your mouth and the pici with ragu has the subtle touch of lemon confit. All in all a delicious dinner. Excellent wine selection as well as well thought desserts. The surroundings are stylish and the service is simply without fail.

Best pasta ever. The service is great, they are very kind. Everything is super fresh and tastes amazing. You cannot skip starters and deserts either.

Second visit, equally wonderful. Set in Fiesole centre with tables outside, a very nice experience. Food was very good and just like the pictures shown on other posts, with ingredients locally sourced right down to the honey. Stuffed peppers were not what we expected and a pleasant surprise with tastes of Thailand. Cold tomato soup again a surprise, it's shrimp with diced fruits in a little tomato juice, very refreshing. Pork medallions soft and gently cooked with a nice honey sauce was delicate flavours. Bit disappointed with the steak not peppery as advertised, but cooked nice wirh a good char, potatoes were great. The agnolotti was a beautiful, yellow tomato sauce and stuffed with tuscan sausage, a must. The most unexpected carrot cake, a delight. Staff very nice, very helpful, seats a bit uncomfortable, on 2nd visit enjoyed comfy seats inside.

We visited this lovely place in Fiesole on a busy weekend day without a reservation, and they still found a way to make room for us — such kind and welcoming service! The food was absolutely delicious, the wine was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. To top it all off, they even treated us to a drink at the end of our meal, which was such a thoughtful gesture. A wonderful experience from start to finish — highly recommended if you’re in Fiesole! 🍷✨

Pizzeria Buca delle Fate in Fiesole is a must-visit for pizza lovers. With a stunning view of Fiesole's Duomo, this pizzeria offers perfectly made pizzas and pasta dishes by Chef Giancarlo. The long fermentation time of the pizza dough results in a soft, chewy crust that is easier to digest. Visitors rave about the delicious food and quick, friendly service.
This was the first meal after we landed, rented a car, and drove to Fiesole. We met out hosts at our villa, then proceeded to backtrack the windy roads for a few glasses of wine and delicious pizza! Beautiful scenery Everywhere!

Lovely spot in the main square. Nice & fast service and lovely atmosphere. My husband got the Pugliese which he loved, I got my usual vegetariana without mozzarella and was a bit bland (the veggies on top where only eggplant and tomatoes), but really good base.

The pizzas were exceptional! Flavors were incredible and cooked perfectly. We had no issues with being seated without a reservation. Service was great! I can never have another tiramisu anywhere else in the world! This was the best in the 53 years I have been on this earth. The flavor, the texture made me speechless. Thank you!

The Italian heat didn’t make me hungry for pizza, but when I saw that this restaurant also offered tiramisu, I couldn’t resist trying it. The staff were absolutely lovely, even though my visit was a quick one. They seated me at a table with a beautiful view of the piazza, and my order arrived very quickly. The tiramisu was a delight—probably the best I’ve ever had. When I went to pay, the staff were just as friendly, asking where I was visiting from. I apologised for not having time to try their pizzas, but they assured me it was perfectly fine. I know I’ll visit Fiesole again, and when I do, I’ll definitely be back at Buca delle Fate!

Atto di Vito Mollica is a romantic and panoramic restaurant located at Hotel Lungarno, offering a high gastronomic experience with a unique view of Ponte Vecchio. The executive chef, Claudio Mengoni, presents a sincere cuisine that combines creativity and rigor to create memorable flavors. The restaurant offers two tasting menus featuring dishes like raw and cooked vegetables with tomato sorbet, milk-fed porchetta with black salsify, and risotto with sea urchins.
Beautiful place, amazing foods (both visual and taste wise) and top service! In the end, the chef came by to say “thank you for *choosing* us”. I love to go Michelin restaurants but it was my first ever experience that chef drops by to say hi, thanking for visiting! It was the BEST way to wrap our last day in Florence!

I chose a Michelin restaurant to celebrate my mom’s birthday, but the food wasn’t that impressive. The ambiance was beautiful though, keeping with the style of the Four Seasons Hotel, and the service was excellent. What matters most is that my parents were happy. 🌹

We had an exceptional evening at Atto di Vito Mollica. The restaurant offers an impressive and elegant setting with a unique atmosphere that perfectly blends history and contemporary fine dining. We enjoyed the “Grand Tour di Mare” menu, which was outstanding – every dish carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Combined with the attentive and professional service, it made for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence.

It is worth mentioning that the dinner at Atto di Vito Mollica was not just Michelin-starred, but it was far better than the two-star treatment. Due To The Communication errors With The Front Desk Of Our Hotel, We Mistakenly Thought That He Had Booked A Michelin-starred Dinner with Atto Di Vito Mollica restaurant (rated as one star Michelin 2025). Unexpectedly, when we arrived, the hostess led us to Salotto Portinari Bistrot, which is another restaurant inside the boutique hotel also owned by Chef Vito Mollica. We were very disappointed. Our family leader insisted on going to a formal dining room to enjoy Michelin's style food. Otherwise, we would go to another restaurant, which alarmed the chef/owner of the restaurant, Mr. Mollica. He personally came to explain and introduce the operation of the restaurant. He is the chef for both Michelin restaurant and Bistro. The Michelin restaurant reservation was sold out two months ago, and there was no way to arrange it. He persuaded us to sit down first, drink some of his drinks and taste Michelin snacks. We were moved by his sincerity and impressed by his hospitality, and decided to have dinner at Bistrot. Later, there were more surprises. He personally recommended dishes and wine. He personally delivered and explained each dish. The food was excellent and delicious. The presentation was very impressive. The whole dining experience was very memorable and everyone was impressed by the food, service and the atmosphere in the surrounding. The service is thoughtful and impeccable. After the meal, Chef Vito Mollica took us to visit the kitchen and wine cellar, and took photos with us. Chef Vito Mollica turned the crisis into an opportunity. He not only won our appetite and trust, but he has such a big and warm heart. We truly felt his love and passion. When we were about to leave, he also hugged our leader. We had true treatment that was far beyond the Michelin star rating. This is a must visit place in Florence. By the way, make sure reserve restaurant in advance.

This is my favorite restaurant so far in my Europe trip, and has exceeded my expectations. I think it can be compared to some Micheline 3 star restaurants I just tried in Paris. It is a beautiful place with rich history to dine in. The food is innovative, well presented but still has great flavors. The service was outstanding as well.

My wife and I dined at Atto on June 12th,2024 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. This was our first time dining at a Michelin establishment when expecting a (first) child and the restaurant and staff were impressively detail oriented regarding menu modifications for pregnancy. We had absolutely zero concerns. The food was flawless start to finish, particularly the spring lamb and the poulard. Our waiter (whose name escapes me) was excellent and just the right level of attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Mark, the sommelier and manager, ran a flawless wine service - far superior to some much more “famous” starred establishments we have visited recently. The main room itself is absolutely stunning and worth asking your waitstaff about as the history is fascinating. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, a must visit if you’re in Florence. We will return.

I dined here with my husband and my parents in March 2023 - this was my parent's first Michelin star experience. This is the best dining experience I have ever had...anywhere. The restaurant was incredibly beautiful and the service was unmatched. We had just arrived in Florence from a very long trip, and I realized we were not quite dressed for this experience. Nevertheless, the staff treated us extremely well and made us feel very special. I would highly recommend anyone come into this restaurant and have an amazing experience. I can't stop talking about this restaurant even a year and a half later.

The menu features creatively presented dishes such as pork and Tuscan-truffle-stuffed Sheng Jian Bao, along with experimental craft cocktails that combine Chinese and Italian flavors.
XINGE appeals to the eyes before the mouth- the interior of the restaurant is a lovely fusion of spaceship and traditional Chinese architecture, and the food itself is no less impressive. One of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. They are on the Michelin list but I think that doesn’t describe how wonderful, inventive, and chic this establishment is! They truly deserve a Michelin star or two or three! Food, vibes, cocktails, staff, all incredible.
Adri — Google review
This place lacks substance but trying way too hard to be Pop… I definitely appreciated the attentive service, but my overall experience was deeply underwhelming. The restaurant’s aesthetic leans heavily into trendy, "pop" sensibilities, but the execution lacks cultural authenticity and culinary finesse—resulting in dishes that feel gimmicky rather than thoughtfully crafted. - Bao: The dough was unacceptably thick—reminiscent of pizza crust—completely overpowering the filling and betraying the delicate texture expected of proper bao. - Dong Po Rou (东坡肉): A shocking misstep. The braised pork was dry and choking, lacking the melt-in-your-mouth richness this classic dish demands. Even a humble Hangzhou eatery’s version (my previous benchmark for "worst") was vastly superior. - 烤麸 (Braised Wheat Gluten): Overwhelmingly salty, with the artificial aftertaste of canned preservatives—no depth or balance. - Misguided "Dream of Red Chamber" Theme: As a person who once dis a PhD in Hong Lou Meng, I was baffled by the inclusion of lychee (a fruit, not a cooking ingredient in the text) and lobster (never mentioned in the novel). This feels like a superficial attempt to capitalize on literary prestige without genuine understanding. The service team deserves praise, but the kitchen and concept need urgent reevaluation. Authenticity isn’t about ornate decor or name-dropping classics—it’s about respect for technique and tradition. Currently, this feels like a hollow pastiche.

Italian/Western/“modern” twist on fine dining Chinese cuisine. Very strong artistic direction in the food, experience and interior design. The staff are excellent and it is clear that every dish, and moment is passionately cared for. I had ‘meat’ tasting menu with tasting wine. Wine pairing in line with the creative concept. An excellent experience with also a creative sense of humour. Highlights for me, beef muscle starter (long cook Chinese spice beef with modern start twist) , (gold) soup dumpling and the fun candy inspired Yoyoi Kusama salad - the latter paired with a tuscany mango-peach white wine. For me personally as an asian, I would like to see stronger chinese confidence in the flavours - it is there but I think it can be bolder! I would guess the main clientele is not yet used to strong asian flavours + knowledge. I enjoy this tension however. “Ethnic” food is always some form of negotiation. Deserving of a Michelin star. Much enjoyed thank you very much! Go support this inspiring woman of colour owned business 🌸

As interesting as it is for a couple of Americans to travel to Florence to eat a dim sum tasting menu, there were absolutely zero regrets. Everything from the atmosphere, taste and service were perfect. I love how the chef came to our table and spoke about her childhood and how it inspired the dishes. You can definitely feel a child like nostalgia come out from the presentation. Everything was incredibly playful. I went into this experience with not having a pallet for sea food, and I am happy to say this changed it for me. This restaurant made me LOVE seafood. The highlight was definitely the sea bass and the sea urchin bao which I would’ve never believed to say before. If you are in Florence, this is definitely a must try. Congratulations for making it on the Michelin guide and I cannot wait to watch the restaurant grow in popularity.

One of the more interesting Michelin awardees that I have experienced this trip. The setting is elegant and the concoction of Chinese dim sum-inspired dishes (360 degree Fantasy tasting menu) is nothing less than fun and invigorating. The owner is hospitable and a casual chat revealed that she was in fashion industry, which explains the coutour-ish food presentation. The cocktail pairing is great but I presume Chinese tea pairing would be exquisite! Service is impeccable and we all had a wonderful evening at the dining table.

Bentoro Firenze is a traditional Japanese restaurant in Florence that offers authentic and delicate Japanese cuisine. The name "Bentoro" is derived from "bento," which refers to the typical Japanese meal served in a box, prepared with care and love. Unlike other Japanese restaurants in the area, Bentoro Firenze stays true to original Japanese flavors. The dishes are delicious, with attention given to each ingredient for a purposeful taste experience.
The atmosphere is charming. This is a small pretty restaurant. The staff were helpful and spoke multiple languages. They have a small menu and the portions aren't large, but they were filling. Very different in a good way from Japanese restaurants running by Chinese, this restaurant is rather close to the original Japanese food. The dishes were tasty but in my opinion not enough for the price. Omurise was with lots of mushrooms which were not very good with shrimps. Ramen was good (still not as good as in Japan, but best in Florence). Sushi were yummy and fresh, very good service and beautiful place.

Again, I don’t usually do reviews but this is one of the best (and reliable) Japanese places in Florence. I’ve tried plenty of restaurants in New York, Japan, Europe, and South America and I think this one hits perfectly a balance of traditional and experimental. TLDR: great experience, elevated dishes, exceptional service. We arrived in Florence late and walked to find a place to eat and as we paused, a couple sitting outside said “you have to eat here. It’s the best meal we’ve had it Florence”. We sat inside and it was lovely. We were served by Massimiliano and Elias. They were attentive, passionate about their work and made helpful recommendations. The beef tataki and cacio Pepe were menu highlights.

What a cute little restaurant with a posh vibe. Elias and Chris were great. The chef delivered a beautiful presentation with layers of Michelin star worthy scores. Bravo! And for the 1 star review. What do you expect from a $15 glass of wine? Come on, don’t give a beautiful restaurant a one star review because you’re unhappy about the price of the wine that you picked by the glass. Buy a bottle next time.
Tina M — Google review
A typical tourist trap! I stopped for a glass of wine, and not only did they serve me an utterly ordinary wine, but they also charged me 15 euros for it! As if that wasn’t enough, they offered me some bread as a “fancy touch”! I mean, really? If you want to act posh, at least serve quality wine! I’ve eaten here a couple of times now, and I highly recommended to anyone who wants a great meal served with a little bit of flare and wonderful flavors. The ambience is really nice, and the service is super friendly and attentive. They also have champagne by the glass, which I love! Highly recommend!

We ended up here almost by accident and we couldn't be happier that we did. The place is classy, located in a lovely area near (but not IN) the city center. The staff was super nice and attentive and the food was delicious. It showed a very fancy way to present typical dishes of the region while keeping or even elevating the flavors. A must for someone looking to have a unique meal outside of the Trattorias and Osterias of the city.

GO HERE NOW! My wife and I cannot say enough great things about this place! We happened across it one afternoon right as they were opening, hoping to just grab a drink and were immediately impressed with everything about this place but more than anything the INCREDIBLE hospitality we received! After some terrific cocktails and snacks our sever Elias and our host Stefano made it a point to bring out some AMAZING amuse bouche which were so incredible we decided to book a table here on the one night we didn't already have reservations. We when we came back for dinner Elias and Stefano were even more amazing! We have eaten at restaurants all over the world, Michelin stars, etc and we both agreed that this is one of the best places we've ever eaten, ever. It's rare when both the food and the service are just as mind blowing as this place was. It was easily our favorite spot on the entire trip (and we had some great meals) and is truly up there as one of the best places we ever eaten at.

Guests can also enjoy Japanese craft beer and excellent sake to complement their meal. Very decent sushi! :) The staff was very friendly and we felt very welcome since we stepped into the restaurant. Affordable and good quality as well!

We wanted to change the routine from Italian food, so we opted for Sushi, the service was great and the staff were welcoming, although it was hard to communicate with them as they don’t speak English, yet we managed to order a variety of sushis, the fish was fresh, yet the rice was dry and not very fresh, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly! The food is great, and the service is excellent. It's really close to the city center, with reasonable prices but without the crowds and high tourist prices. It's a great place for a quality dining experience during the busy tourist season. Osteria Cinghiale Bianco is a timeless restaurant located in a 14th-century tower, offering authentic Tuscan cuisine such as pappardelle with wild boar. The ambiance is relaxed and casual, making it perfect for a laid-back dining experience. It's an ideal spot for couples looking to unwind and savor a delicious meal together after exploring Florence's attractions.
If you ever find yourself wandering the winding streets of Florence, make no mistake Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco deserves a place at the top of your dining list. From the moment you step in, you sense a restaurant built on passion for Tuscan tradition. It’s not just hype: Stanley Tucci himself featured this very spot on his Searching for Italy series, calling it one of his favorite Florence restaurants. We began with bruschetta that was impossibly fresh, and moved on to an aged pecorino that truly deserved world-class status. The house wine surprised us - superb character at a remarkably fair price. But the real star? The steak in Chianti sauce: cooked with precision, rich, tender - it felt almost indulgent to describe, and yet simply “incredible” only begins to capture it. Every bite was memorable. The tiramisu that followed was the poetic finale: a perfect balance, with that subtle yellow hue that whispers, “this is the real deal.” I’d boldly say it was a 10/10. As lovers of fine dining, we often measure an experience by whether it lingers: this one will stay with us. You don’t get better than this in Florence and some moments in life do indeed deserve to be unforgettable.

It’s almost impossible to choose only 3 dinner spots in Florence with so many good options available but I am SO glad this is one of the places we decided on. Between Reddit, Stanley Tucci and personal recommendations from friends this one felt like a no brainer. We had a 7:30 reservation for Wednesday evening and upon arrival and check in there were two lines. One for people waiting for a table with no reservation and one for people waiting for their table with a reservation. We arrived on time and were seated after about a 15 minute wait. The ambiance of the restaurant is super warm and cozy and the service was attentive. For dinner we ordered 3 different pastas to share. I really appreciated that they split each pasta for us before bringing them out. I know that they are know for their cinghiale pappardelle but our favorite pasta was the Chitarra Pomodoro with burrata. It was simple and perfect and I wish I was eating it right now. Tiramisu was great as well if you are a dessert person but I honestly could have also just gone for a fourth pasta. For sure make a reservation in advance and definitely prioritize this restaurant if you are visiting from out of town.

The lines will tell it all! The staff are friendly, fast, and kind! Their food — I tried their Florence steak and OMG, it’s another way to fall in love with Florence! Their spritz — I could easily drink three of them and still want more! The sweetness and ratio in the Hugo spritz work like magic! Their tiramisu — a sweet kiss to end your meal. Traditional, legendary Italian tiramisu — as it should be! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

There’s so much choice in Florence but we were so happy we chose to enjoy our Sunday lunch here. Service was friendly and food excellent. Particularly loved the Tortelli with Rabbit and Wild Boar with Polenta. Every course was delicious!

I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco for making my wife’s and my dinner there special earlier this month. I don’t recall the grandfather’s name, but he was an absolute gem of a person who was kind, funny, welcoming, charming and generous. Although my Italian is okay and his English was better than my Italian, he and I would speak in Italian, and he would effortlessly switch to English to speak to my wife to ensure she wasn’t left out of the conversation. Again, an absolute gentleman. We ordered a beautiful bottle of 2018 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva by TorCalvano, which paired quite nicely with the Ribollita, the Pappardelle al Ragu di Cinghiale and another pasta dish (a stuffed pasta, don’t remember the name) with a delicate rabbit sauce. My wife and I each had a caffe corretto with sambuca. And then the grandfather generously treated my wife and me to limoncello, a perfect way to finish our dinner. Grazie mille!!!!!!!

Absolutely worth the visit— a favorite from our Florence trip. When the server said best tiramisu — he wasn’t lying. It was incredible. The pesto pasta was great and my husband said the steak was incredible. The affogato was also delicious. We loved the pecorino tasting. Service was great. I highly recommend calling for a reservation. They have a good amount of seating, and they have a spot for no reservations outside the front door to line up and wait, but the line fills up. We called a couple weeks in advance for a reservation.

Cross the Ponte Vecchio and head to this authentic Tuscan Osteria that specializes in local dishes with a nod to local game, like wild boar and rabbit. We enjoyed the spaghetti with shrimp and the baby pig. The interior is warm and inviting with many nooks, a vaulted ceiling and rustic decorations. Not expensive. Overall, a genuine Tuscan experience!

Dinner was excellent, there is a reason this place is popular! Highly recommend getting a reservation. Onion flan was exceptional, as well as the shrimp pasta and Florentine T-bone to share! La Giostra is a romantic restaurant located in the heart of Florence, just a short walk from Duomo. The stunning interiors feature brick vaulted ceilings adorned with fairy lights and an abundance of plants and flowers, creating a charming atmosphere. Known for serving exquisite Tuscan dishes such as Florentine T-bone steak and an extensive wine selection, this restaurant offers impeccable food that is often regarded as some of the best in Florence.
Outstanding experience!! Reservations are sometimes tough to get & worth the effort. I had the privilege of speaking to the owner before departure and found him extraordinarily humble & gracious. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere with candlelit tables & fine linens. Decadent, high quality olive oil & balsamic was a treat for me personally! Our waiter was professional & went above and beyond. I cannot say enough about my meal! I ordered the filet prepared in a rich, thick balsamic glaze. The steak was at least 3” thick, a healthy 8-12oz & a perfect medium rare!! 👏 👏 La Giostra was my absolute favorite dining experience in Firenze!! Someday I’ll return to their beautiful city & will probably make a reservation here for each night of my visit. Thank you for a beautiful dining memory. We really had a wonderful time at your establishment!

It’s undeniably a gorgeous restaurant, but that’s about where the excitement ended for us. The wild boar sauce was dry, and extremely concentrated tomato flavor, the risotto was drenched, and the steak was covered in too much vinegar to taste anything. We felt so lucky to be seated so late into the night, but that feeling quickly left as we were rushed in every step of the dining process. Why make a table reservable if you can’t serve that late?
Abdullah — Google review
Food was delicious. Restaurant is beautiful. Worth checking out if you’re able to get a reservation but it’s not a must try if you’re not able to. Definitely try the duck ravioli. I got the carbonara with asparagus but I personally wish it had more asparagus as the pieces were tiny.

Iconic restaurant in Florence. Food is incredible so is venue. Pear ravioli is worth the hype. Bruschetta they hand out is phenomenal. Even house wine is great. DONT skip dessert
Alexander H — Google review
Yes, it has a great aesthetic. But I struggled to find anything else I liked about it. It is nice that you get some small sample plate, but there was nothing spectacular about the food. The wild boar pasta was not flavorful and the meat was overcooked. It was very hard to chew. What really struck me were the prices. This was the most expensive meal I’ve eaten in all my trips to Italy. €71 just for myself. The wine is obscenely priced. €20 a glass is the cheapest wine I saw. Any other Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at in Italy always offered a €5 to €9 euro glass of wine as an option.

Exceptional Italian steakhouse. My wife was recommended this place by 2 separate people who’ve been to Florence before. The pear ravioli lives up to the hype and the steak was cooked excellently. Outstanding dining experience with good service. Highly suggest booking a reservation for lunch/dinner.

we had our dinner, we were 5 people. the service was great and the owner himself was taking care of all of his customers. All the food was amazing and we enjoyed our evening there. we had the best burrata cheese ever here 😍, we went to 3 cities but this place has the best one ☝🏻👏🏻
Hessa A — Google review
For the price we paid, it was a real disappointment. We ordered a carpaccio that came covered in tomatoes and radicchio; the bitterness completely masked the flavor of the meat. The cut of beef itself seemed good, but there were so many leaves on top that we couldn’t actually taste it. The portion of meat should have been much larger as well. We also ordered a shrimp and vegetable risotto, and it arrived with just one whole shrimp. The rest of what was in the dish was another shrimp chopped into pieces, in total, only two shrimps. Honestly, it was embarrassing. A huge letdown: lots of hype and very little quality.

Cucina Torcicoda is a multifaceted dining complex located near Santa Croce, offering a variety of culinary experiences. The space includes a restaurant, trattoria, pastry shop, gelateria, and pizzeria. The pizzeria features Neapolitan-style pizzas made with a blend of flours and topped with unique ingredients like Cantabrian anchovies and Calabrian 'nduja.
The restaurant has 2 areas. On the right, a casual Fine dining with great service and Good selection of classical Italian dishes and drinks. 3 courses will be around 40 to 60 euro per person but you are getting well plated, and portion dishes. No pizza on this menu, If you want a more casual dining experience they have the pizza dining area at a very reasonable price in a section on the left when you walk through the door. Service staff are cheerful and attentive. Makes for a relaxed and nice dining atmosphere. Highly recommend for a good Italian meal.

Restaurant is HUGE and has 3 sections: pizzeria, restaurant and a bar all with great atmosphere (props for music taste as well). We dined at their restaurant and oh boy it was a great experience! Can’t understate how the staff is really professional, always available at a moment’s notice and very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our meal! There’s a bartender and a sommelier who make everything you wish for. I absolutely recommend their meat selection, really quality pieces and cooked as it should be. We haven’t eaten any pasta, however I imagine it is excellent as well. Some would say it is a bit expensive but you really get what you pay for, especially because there’s tons of similarly priced restaurants in Florence with much much poorer quality and service. I would describe the restaurant as a casual fine dining. Make sure to make a reservation, however as it is quite a large place you probably can get a table without as well.

This restaurant lives up to its Michelin Guide status! The chianina steak was juicy and satisfied that steak craving! Service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is classy yet casual. Also the music felt curated for this American milllenial 😂. the ossobucco ragu is also the best pasta dish we’ve had between Rome, Pisa, and Florence!

Cucina Torcicoda is an amazing place right off the Santa Croce square and is actually a great pizza bistro along with a fine dining restaurant. We were told this place had amazing pizza and had a reservation the next night but we stopped in early (7:30) to see if we could get some pizza after a busy travel and sightseeing day. We were lucky — get a reservation — but the host/sommelier/bartender/manager man of all action (Chito) said if we could be finished by 8:15 ahead of an 8:30 reservation, then he could accommodate the two of us (don’t count on this). He did and we did and we were were SO happy we did. The pizza oven is hot so they take 3 minutes tops to cook. Fresh, incredible ingredients make great pizza and this place did not disappoint. I’ve added our pizza from the first night followed by our Florentine steak from the second night along with the Tagliatelle Ossobucco we split as our primi. Oh, and Chito made us virgin Negroni which I swear were the best we ever had - there is no way to know the difference except we didn’t lose our head! Don’t miss this place.

Can't say enough about this place. We met the owners through another business transaction. They helped us with reservations and the ambience, attention to detail was top notch! Nestled in the picturesque Florentine hills, Trattoria Omero is a charming family-run establishment that exudes rustic elegance. Although it may be slightly off the beaten path, its location adds to its allure, especially with a delightful terrace perfect for savoring summer lunches while soaking in stunning views of Florence and the Arno valley.
Local trattoria that serves delicious traditional food - they even have their own wine and olive oil! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and everything we ordered was outstanding. They also have a small shop that sells deli meats, cheeses, antipasti and pasta. Worth a visit on the 38 bus from Porta Roma (10mins) if you don't have a car or aren't staying close by.

A great restaurant that doesn't really stand out from the outside at first glance. Once inside, however, it is wonderful. The view over the expanse as far as Florence is marvellous. We ate everything family-style and had a wonderful evening. We highly recommend Trattoria Omero and will revisit unpon our next return to Toscana. Bravo!

This is a genuine hidden treasure in Florence. Located a distance from the main city, it's a place you'll need to drive to reach, but the effort is rewarded with a gorgeous meal set against a stunning view of the rolling Tuscan hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our Tuscan meal, with several dishes standing out: - Crostone di pane toscano con burrata al tartufo e battuta di manzo - Penne strascicate all'Omero - Pici all' aglione con ricotta salata - Bistecca alla Fiorentina - Verdure fritte The service was also top-notch, with our server being particularly helpful and providing excellent recommendations for their Super Tuscan wines. The only minor caveat is the pace of service, which can slow to a near standstill during a large lunch crowd. My advice: grab a bottle of wine, relax, and savor the holiday!

Trattoria Cammillo is a renowned Florentine institution located on the south bank of the Arno near the Ponte Vecchio. Established in 1945, it has become a staple for locals and tourists alike. The menu offers an extensive selection of traditional Italian dishes, including meat, fish, and vegetable options that change with the seasons.
**Review of Trattoria Cammillo – Florence** Delicious classic food in a cozy, authentic setting. The veal was tender, the tagliatelle with mushrooms rich and flavorful, and the seafood couscous fresh and light. Great service and a lovely atmosphere, definitely worth a visit!

A Perfect Florentine Experience Trattoria Cammillo is an absolute gem. Tucked away right by the river, it's the perfect spot for an intimate dinner with friends or a romantic evening with your partner. It's a classic, old-school restaurant with an old but incredibly talented staff who make the entire experience feel special. The food is simple but exquisite, serving up wonderful Tuscan dishes for true gourmands. My go-to is always the duck paired with a glass of Chianti, it's simply amazing! The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It's warm, inviting, and feels like a genuine taste of old Florence. This is a must-visit if you're in town.

We had really high hopes - we reserved for 2 from 1pm and ordered a Florentine steak for 2 and fried zucchini flowers to go with them. We then waited 45 mins for cold steak and zucchini flowers to come. This was disappointing. Whereas another group that came 30 minutes after was served in about 15 mins (regardless of dish served). It was rather apparent our plates were just left out there for a long while. They only seemed to bother moving after I decided to walk out for a stroll passing by the open kitchen (the dishes promptly arrived after I came back). For 125 euros for 2, this is very bad service. At the end, we didn't bother waiting for payment at the table, we just went up to the counter to pay. Avoid.

We were really excited about this place, it came highly recommended and the line out the door seemed to confirm the hype. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us after a small wait which we were so grateful for. I’ll start by saying that the sage calamari dish was one of our favorite dishes of our entire trip! We still talk about it. The interior is homey and classic. However, our tortellini was served cold, service was very slow so it probably sat for a while before it made its way to our table. The “Caesar” salad was just raw mushrooms with cold cheese on top. I don’t know if this was a lost in translation situation but it didn’t even pass as a salad. The steak and mashed potatoes were just ok. We left a bit disappointed.

A great traditional Florentine restaurant and should be at the top of your list. The wait staff is the most knowledgeable I have ever seen, the food is traditional and can't be beat. A little on the expensive side and I can tell it is getting more tourists that locals, but still worth a visit. Call and make reservations.

Classic trattoria serving typical Florentine cooking elevated with perfect ingredients in an unpretentious atmosphere— old world style w/ white tablecloths and monogrammed plates. Menu is seasonal— but always have staples on the menu of classic cooking. Mix of raw/ cooked starters, pastas, veal Milanese etc, and some amazing desserts like their tiramisu. All the food we had was great- the pecorino brûlée was unique and a great appetizer, shrimp tartare another great light appetizer. Also had the anchovies with bread and butter. Limited drink menu, but large wine menu

Good food, bad service. For asian like us to note. We came in 6:30pm and knock on their door ask to book at 7:30pm, since its just an hour away we waited at the piazza outside while having the nice gelato from opposite establishment. upon 7:30 we enter and the old guy manager/owner wearing SLIPPERS, cater us to our table. the then lady ask if we want still or sparkling water, we said we dont what water and she said ok. after awhile the old guy take our order, we orderd one secondi and 2 prima mains, for drinks only one glass of rose. the his fussed as to why only one i guess cause he ask my husband what he wants he said he didnt want any. I said all the orders can come altogether. From what i understand, he understand what i said cause i said it twice. he say it again. Turns out he dont. After he took our order he talk to his lady staff and from what i believe his saying we are cheapskate who dont order any drink cause the lady laugh and look at us. LOL we waited for more than 15 mins for the dish and the pasta came first split into two plates which i never i ask, we try to wait for the two other dish but it dont come so we just ate, when we almost finish only then they served the two dishes. So correct he didnt understand to Serve altogether. the feeling and atmosphere while we wait is too uncomfortable at its best because we can see how they take care of other tables except us. That old guy talk to all tables from french to spanish to english speaking white people with warm. And i guess because we dont order any drinks they are pissed off as maybe they think we dont want to spend. We wanted to order more actually cause we are more of plenty of dishes than drinks couple but then because of the racism no need. Know that guest who dont order drinks doesnt mean they dont have the spending capacity. It can be just because they dont drink comfortably like all italians. Dont judge your guests base on color, order or whatnot. Your food is really good but your service and racism sucks!

Delicious, innovative, friendly and authentic. After 2.5wks in Italy, Il Magazzino was one of the best. How exciting to see the creativity in offal preparation, with the flavour and textures in each dish utterly on point. The salty crunch of the Totani di Bosco and rich gelatinous broth of the Lampredotto al rosmarino in particular are in my dreams. Service is friendly and fun, and there’s a real down-to-earth, authentic vibe. Pretty sure we were the only non-locals there, and it felt like such a privilege to find this place among all the tourist traps in Florence. Grazie mille!!

I loved the location and the cozy atmosphere. The lampredotto polpette were amazing, we kept thinking about them for the rest of the trip. The stellar reviews don't lie - go here. This is some of the best authentic, rustic Tuscan food you can have in Florence. Service is simple but pleasant, and the food absolutely blows almost every other place in the city out of the water. The Tagiolini with Veal was sublime - like the best version of a sausage gravy - and the Lampredotto Ravioli with sweet onions must be tasted to be believed. Make sure you visit!

We found this place from the osteria 2025 app, which I would recommend to all Italy travelers. We were a party of three and had a truly spectacular evening. You should definitely try the lampredotto, a florentine delicacy made from the tender stomach of cattle.

Mama Mia … the best authentic Tuscan food so far after trying several popular trattorie in Firenze. Warm greeting, cozy atmosphere and amazing local food : tripes, delicious peposo with beautiful aromas of rosemary and white beans, delicious Osso bucco. Delicious barolo. Although we were not hungry anymore the quality of the main dishes on once us to try the ricotta y pistachio torta….. the cherry on top of the cake …light, flavorful and fresh crushed pistachios ! Just authentic good Tuscan fare at amazing prices $16 for a main course , all of it a few steps from the punto vecchio. This is all you expect from a traditional trattoria, an authentic place with high ceiling and tomette stones, a casual but welcoming atmosphere and the best where it should be : the quality of your wine and food. I will go back tomorrow !

Italian restaurant
Osteria delle Tre Panche is a small and intimate restaurant in Florence, offering a variety of truffle-infused dishes such as truffle chips, omelets, and ravioli. The name translates to 'Tavern of the Three Benches'. It provides a wonderful culinary journey with truffle flavors and overlooks Ponte Vecchio from its sixth-floor terrace. Visitors can enjoy an unmissable taste experience while feeling the proximity to the iconic bridge.
A 10/10 all around. Delicious food, great service and perfect atmosphere. This was my favourite restaurant I visited in Florence. DO NOT SKIP ON DESSERT. Get the cheesecake. It is absolutely insane. And if you love it, go back and get it for take out. The first time I had it, it was warm (🤯), then I got it cold when I ordered it for take out and it was equally as good. I don’t even know how they made such a delicious cheesecake. I didn’t even know cheesecake could be this good. It’s as if they sous vide the entire thing, then baked it?? It’s CREAMY, and has the most perfect flavour. Not too sweet, perfectly creamy cheesy. I am obsessed with this restaurant!
Stacey — Google review
tldr; A place where you pay for the view and truffle. Food is nothing special. The cheesecake is a cross between a basque and traditional but isnt something memorable. We did a walk-in but was only seated on the lower floor. Service was slow even though they weren't full. There were flies while we were eating we even got one in our wine(which they gladly changed) We ordered the pasta and special(deer). The food was good but was more expensive than the usual which isnt surprising since they have a nice view. If you want to guarantee a nice view make a reservation.

We really enjoyed both the view and the food here. Met up with a friend and ended up chatting for hours , it’s the kind of place you can easily spend an afternoon at. The truffle chips were amazing, and the beef tartare is a must-try if you’re a fan. A small hidden gem, I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.
R — Google review
This place probably has the best cheesecake we’ve ever had. The rest of the meal was decent, though portions could have been a bit more generous, and it would have been nice if they’d asked the preference on how we wanted the meat cooked. The main downside was the service, which felt a bit chaotic with long waits between dishes.
Sally R — Google review
Honestly, such a pleasant surprise. I saw this restaurant on TikTok, and after seeing the 1 star review I was hesitant of coming, but decided to give it a chance. The raviolis were the best of the best, they were very fresh, and they weren’t greedy with the truffle! The veal was exquisite and the chips were a lovely pairing. Service was excellent, the servers were so nice and welcoming, always asking if everything was good or if we needed anything. Overall such an amazing experience.
Alexa P — Google review
Unfortunately we went there without reservation and couldn’t find a table, the food looked incredible, but we came there to try their cheesecake and we had to order it to go, ate it at home, and OMG ! One of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had in my life, the atmosphere looked gorgeous too.. i would love to come back and will never miss any chance to have that YUMMY cheesecake🫶🏻 Enterance was a bit tricky following the map, its on the first floor inside a hotel.
Altaf D — Google review
Wonderful lunch today at Osteria delle Tre Panche. Managed to get a walk in table with the most stunning views over the river and Ponte Vecchio, but the star of the show was the truffle packed menu offering anything and everything for a truffle lovers taste buds…. We had the truffle fried pecorino to start which was delightful, then the truffle taglialine and wild boar ragu - both unreal. But the star of the show was the spinach and mozzarella wrapped in veal - just WOW. My partner had the Milanese which also was very delicious. No room for dessert sadly!! Also the service was fantastic - Grazi!
Cecilia G — Google review
I saw this place recommended on TikTok and decided to check it out, big mistake. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. We had to be buzzed in, which took several tries, and honestly, that should’ve been the first red flag. The staff were blunt and unwelcoming, and it took forever just to place our order. On top of that, there was an unpleasant smell lingering from the kitchen that made the whole experience even worse. The food itself was extremely mediocre, I genuinely could’ve made something better at home. Overall, a very disappointing visit. I’d strongly recommend giving this place a miss.

The restuarant is beautiful, their food is amazing. You can tell every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients. I loved everything I ordered! I also want to praise their amazing service, every staff was well-trained and very very friendly. One of the best service I've had in Italy. The place also offers a good variety of drinks. Absolutely outstanding experience at Cestello Ristoclub! Elegant and peaceful atmosphere, beautiful music, and the food was simply perfect — every dish was a delight. The staff’s smiles were not just polite gestures, but truly heartfelt. A very special thank you to Izadora — her presence elevated the entire evening. She wasn’t just serving tables, she was creating a memorable experience with every movement. Her smile was sincere, her energy unstoppable, and her kindness felt real. She worked with the grace, precision, and determination of an F16 in full flight, yet always made us feel at home. She is the kind of person who turns a good dinner into a great memory. Thank you, Izadora — you truly made the night unforgettable. And my sincere compliments to the chef for the incredible food. I will definitely be back!

This hidden gem in Florence is truly a must-visit destination. Conveniently located nearby, yet tucked away in a tranquil setting, it offers a delightful escape from the bustling city center. From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail in every aspect of this establishment is truly remarkable. Despite our late arrival, we decided to take a seat at the bar and indulge in some exquisite drinks accompanied by fresh oysters. The cocktails here are nothing short of artistry, meticulously crafted with great precision. Although we didn't have the opportunity to sample the food, observing the dishes being served from our vantage point at the bar, everything appeared to be flawlessly presented. Moreover, the customer service provided was unparalleled. Our bartender exuded both friendliness and an exceptional level of professionalism, ensuring a memorable experience. If you find yourself in Florence, this establishment undoubtedly deserves a place on your itinerary. I can’t finish this review with out giving a special thank you to Alessio or mixologists, that totally made our night.

Let yourself be blown away by this hidden gem of a restaurant where TRUE passion for hospitality, food and wine pairings with cool beats in the background gives you the total package of a evening that will have you talking about this place and the experience you had for years to come!!!!!!We were told about Cestello by Paolo our Concierge at Villa Medici and will be forever grateful for the tip that had us have one of our best meals and evenings out for years. Francisco our server and Juan our Sommelier had us try the blind 5 course menu and wine pairing that from the get go had us guessing the many flavors exploding across our taste buds. It was sublime and had us enjoying every second of our dinner and wine we were blown away by. The chef and team in the kitchen had a great experimental vibe complimented with incredible ingredients and beautiful presentation that had us excited all the way thru the almost 3 hour experience. You cannot leave Firenze without at least 1 meal here!!!!!

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Settignano, La Sosta del Rossellino is a hidden gem that invites you to indulge in the best of Tuscan cuisine and fine Italian wines. With its charming ambiance, whether you're cozied up by the fireplace during winter or enjoying a meal on the veranda overlooking stunning countryside views in summer, this venue is perfect for any occasion.
The outstandingly delicious food, the gorgeous and flower-filled view from our table on the veranda, and the international “oldies” playlist had me smiling the entire meal and to top it off, we were waited on by the two most cheerful and welcoming people. They also have a cookbook section full of recipes from all over the world. This is the place for people who are curious about cuisine, and who adore beautiful places and happy people. The stuzzichino appetizer, the lemon pasta, the chimichurri beef were all incredible, and we can’t wait to come back and try more!!

We had the most fantastic evening at this restaurant. I am pregnant and our waiter went above and beyond to make our meal special. We were given a romantic private balcony to sit at then he took time to show us their non-alcoholic drink options and finally, organised for our steak to be cooked half medium and half well done so that it was suitable for pregnancy. All of the food was delicious, with highlights being the super soft eggplant caponata, the tortellini with ragu and the pistachio cake.

I read about this restaurant in Helena Attlee's "The Land Where the Lemons Grow". It is a bit pricey but the quality of food, wine and service is absolutely top notch. For fans of the book: when I was here for lunch, there were a few citrus-inspired dishes to choose from. I highly recommend pairing a visit to this restaurant with Villa Gamberaia, which has a beautiful limonaia.

A very nice little restaurant with a beautiful small terrace from where you have a view over the surrounding hills. The service was really really nice and personalised and the food was delicious. We had gnocchi, tagliatelle and the tartare and everything was fresh and tasty. Also the deserts are wonderful, above all the torta di pistacchio alla ricotta and the torta al cioccolato con salsa piccante. The wine offer is really impressive and you can choose the appropriate wine with each dish. The place is also very good for those who want to eat gluten free because for instance the gnocchi are made without flour. Definitely worth going there.

Little gem tucked away in Florence and just enough out of the city to get away from tourist crowds. The owner is marvelous and has a real charisma about him! We appreciated that he even bothered to help us get s taxi back by calling it for us. Would highly recommend the gnocchi as well as the pasta Silician with orange and lemon rind- so unique and scrumptious ! Defiantly try the Parmesan pudding starter too! Awesome family lunch was had thanks to this wonderful place which is open on Sundays too!

Awesome place to stop for a quick bite to eat and a warm drink on a rainy day. The hot chocolate is nice and thick, rich chocolate without being too sweet or overpowering. Flatbread phenomenal, pasta with sausage Ragu sauce highly recommend. Good hot cocoa, friendly staff. Got caught in a hailstorm and server joked with us and was cheerful. Mostly outdoor seating. Friendly as a whole. My mother also shared a name with the cafe and thought it was very silly. Man behind the counter was cheerfully singing songs from the wizard of oz while working. Very sweet. Would highly recommend!

Guests can start with tartare and carpaccio before indulging in various generous meat cuts. Sides include beans and baked potatoes flavored with Chianti butter, along with homemade red wine on the table.
Fantastic place for a culinary adventure! It was by pure chance we found this place and reserved a table for Sunday evening. The grand entrance is a good indicator of the interior which is thoughtfully quirky and interesting. The menu is limited with select signature dishes which all appear amazing. The staff is quirky, friendly, funny, and insightful. We highly recommend the spicy mixed pasta octopus, the beef dish, the out-of-this-world-tiramisu, the beer and alcohol free cocktails.

Amazing atmosphere, our waitress was amazing taking really good care of us! Would 100% suggest you go there for their steak that had a strong beefy profile which was complimented by the discrete smoky coal aroma! They offer it to you slightly unseasoned to our taste but they have an amazing seasoning jar on the table to adjust to your seasoning needs! They offer fresh vegetables to start your meal for better digestion and their sourdough bread. The tiramisu at the end was heavenly!

Tourist trap !!!! I eat the chef's menu, so first you get the tartar/batuta, made from unknown parts, not a good tartar, then the carpacio, it was a low quality part of a rump steak sired and then cut to thick..again no flavor no quality.... short rib was ok nut somthing spacial, no flavor no quality... white beens in olive oil was vary bad.. i prefer to eat beans from can. potatoes in foil like we made whan we where kids no flavor no quality, than rump steak was the same as the carpacio... was one good bite of the bisteca fiorntina byt was very little so i asked the bone to nibble... the wine was the cheapest chianti you can think about and no good options by glass at the menu.... Olive oil cake was again no flavor no quality... Very disappointing dinner, feels like they dont care about the customers... * the beef is from spain not from italy...

Panzzano, 50 euros per person: first they bring raw meat, then the waiter serves only two small slices of four different types of meat. In the middle, they rise two big bisteca and yell like a performance and people applaud thinking that they will bring bisteca. However, the waiter serves two small slices of bisteca and disappears. In the sequence, they bring a baked potato with butter and as desert "grandma's cake" for filling your stomach. And that's it!! You still think: they will bring more meat Where's the meat? Too much marketing!! It doesn't worth the money! But... as the most of people (tourists like me) are there for an experience, the friends' company worth it. It's a only one time experience. I won't come back.
Fênix — Google review
Unfortunate experience here. The atmosphere was great and so was our experience at the bar, but unfortunately the food and service in the main restyling did not live up to the same standard. My brother ordered the flank steak which was alright albeit unseasoned. My mother and I both ordered the tartare and it was highly disappointing. Very unappealing presentation, and no seasoning or accoutrements accompanying it to give it any other flavor than raw beef. After taking a bite or two, we tried to send it back and exchange for another dish but were told we would not be able to without paying for both meals each. After speaking to a manager and clarifying the situation it was resolved. Please just be aware what you are getting when you order the tartare as you may not be able to send it back.

I cannot imagine a more beautiful view of florence. My partner and I had an incredible experience dining at the San Michele Ristorante Grill. The entire staff was very polite and professional. Antonio, who I believe was the manager, was a terrific host. He was very kind, and very knowledgeable. Our waiter was very attentive, always keeping the wine moving. Our meal was delicious, we had the Warm Octopus Salad, Ceviche, and Fried Anchovies for appetizers. All three were good but the Octopus stood out. For dinner we had the Tuna and Grilled lobster. My grilled lobster was unbelievable, the Tuna was perfectly cooked and tender. An affogato for desert to top things off. It was truly an experience we will not forget. I will come back here every time I’m in Florence.

The views from this restaurant of Florence are unparalleled. That being said, the food here was good, not exceptional for the price point.
