Had high expectations about this place. Came on a quiet night so didn't have the lively buzz about it. Was surprised to be plonked next to the fire exit despite it being so empty. (Perhaps that's down to my ugly mug). Tried a set menu so much in way of choice. I did enjoy good quality food with nice modest portion sizes. Customer service was the best bit. The waitress smelled really nice. Not in a weird way, we did tell her and she agreed that she did.

Had the most amazing food at this restaurant last night, the staff were very friendly and really helpful and it had a great atmosphere. The scallops that I had were the best I have had and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back

Twelve did the catering for our Wedding at Browsholme Hall. The food was incredible, we went for the BBQ menu served as sharing platters. All of our guests were talking about the food after with many saying it was the best food they had had at a wedding. All of the many dietary requirements were catered for easily. The staff on the wedding day were amazing, everyone was happy, friendly and professional. The food was served seamlessly. We can't wait to return to the restaurant in the future.

Visited Twelve not for the first time on Thursday for my Dads 70th. The restaurant is located on Fleetwood Rd Thornton, just best to the Oldest working Windmill in Europe. Very slick and modern inside. A lovely seating area on right as you enter with plenty of natural light. Awards clearly placed on the walls as you enter, shows to me how proud they are of the restaurant. I had pork pie to start which was first class. Mains I had the beef, not completely my favourite but it was ok. Staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Twelve is on the more expensive side of other restaurants but still very much worth a visit.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We all opted for the Topside Beef. Gravy was rich and flavourful. Almost as good as how my friend Dave makes it. The cauliflower and roast potatoes were yum and just the right portion. For a Michelin listed restaurant the portions were generous.

We visited for an anniversary this weekend just gone and the food was lovely. The portions are on the smaller side but this means you can have 3 courses which isn't a bad thing! The staff were attentive and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We had the August menu and the food was so good and excellent value for money for the qualitty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would've been 5 stars for atmosphere if there'd been more people there, get down and fill this quality restaurant up.

Everything was absolutely amazing the beef melted in my mouth and every meal when we come we literally live around the corner it’s perfect for us definitely recommend to anyone in this area !

My wife and I plus two small dogs called in for the breakfast buffet offer. The food was excellent, well laid out and hot. I have a disability that is not always apparent but the very friendly staff noticed I had a problem and immediately offered assistance and bought our food to the table. Nothing was too much trouble. The Tramway is only a short distance from the town centre and I highly recommend it for its good food, and friendly staff.

recently visited Tramways Carvery in Blackpool and I have to say, I was not overly impressed. While the food was decent, I couldn't help but feel like there are better carveries in the area. Firstly, let's talk about the positives. The food at Tramways Carvery was tasty and well-cooked. The selection was not great in comparison to other Carvery establishments. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant, with a cozy and relaxed vibe. Overall, I would say that Tramways Carvery is a decent option for a carvery in Blackpool. The food is good but not outstanding and there are some areas for improvement, if you are looking for a top-notch carvery experience, there are better options available in the area.

Today I visited again this fantastic place and the lady who took my food order was “ Kat “ she was dressed for Halloween. And looked great , Kat was so friendly and happy , smiling and lit up the room with her happy smiling energy , a total breeze of happiness that totally lifted my clinical depression , Kat is a real credit to Stonehouse and her happy nature is infectious to all in her presence , she works very hard also as I noticed and was constantly busy. Clearing plates , wipe img tables clean and removing used drink glasses , as well as taking food / drink orders. I never see her stop , STONEHOUSE. this colleague is a real treasure and I hope you recognise her please , thank you regards ps. Your food is amazing fresh tasty and great value xx💕💕

I ordered cod, chips and peas having spent the day unpacking after a house move. The food was hot and delicious. The website is very easy to order from with only £1 delivery from the Thornton branch. Delivery was fast and the driver very pleasant. Would definitely order again as a treat. Thank you

Food arrived punctually and, more importantly, still hot. One of us had cod, the other had halibut and both were well cooked, batter still crispy and both tasting good. Chips were a bit pale in appearance but looked and tasted as if they had been made from real potatoes and not some reconstituted extrusion from a machine. The driver was friendly and pleasant and we had no issues whatsoever with our experience.

Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, 1 with no lettuce and a large chips with salt & vinegar to pick up !!! Easy you would think ? What I got was 2 double burgers, no cheese on either, both with lettuce. No salt & vinegar on the chips !!! Wow !!!!!!

Food as always was delicious I ordered the halibut for myself which came with chips. I left most of the chips not for any other reason than the fish was huge and there was no way I was leaving the fish. My husband had steak pie and chips which he also enjoyed and didn't leave a scrap. Of course we couldn't leave our little dog Willow out so as always she got a sausage which she wolfed down. Food always nice, hot and fresh and always arrives within the time given.

£5 for chips.... its just potato. Talk about taking advantage of people. Gone are the days chippy tea was an affordable meal for the family. Got to sell a kidney to afford fish and chips for the family from here.

I wanted to try the Halibut & was not disappointed. Large fish with tasty batter and white flesh that was so delicious. The mushy peas were scrumptious and the chips...mountains of them!!

Food was £33 odd for the 4 of us I had fish chips & peas the fish /cod was over cooked rather hard through it the chips are not the best around but advantage the peas tho was lovely my daughter had curry and chips and she said the curry was really good. my son had sausage chips,peas & gravy and said chips wasn't up to much but sausage peas & grey was good especially the gravy 10 out of 10 My husband had pudding,chips & peas but also agreed the chips wasn't great! ..the staff was welcoming & friendly plus the place was very clean for my first visit I had to give these 4 stars as the chips and fish did let it down I will give it a 2nd chance /visit again as or because it might just of been an off day i'l write an updated review after the 2nd attempt!

This place was recommended by my parents who live close by. We were on a holidays outing & fancied a Chippy tea,so here ee are. We sat in,small menu,daughter & myself had the small fish,chips & mushy peas,slice of bread,plus pot of tears for me,also a cheese burger with a mountain of chips.. I have to say the fish was great,crispy batter,chips,not the best in my book?...so we didn't finish everything. The girl serving us was pleasant & helpful,all in all,it filled a spot.. thanks 👍

Popped into this takeaway as passing and fancied F&C. The food was amazing, fresh, hot and very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and served it within 5 minutes. Highly recommend

Called in on my way through Blackpool late on and this was open until 9.00 p.m. When I was eating these I gave them a rating of 6/10. Even though I asked for salt and vinegar, they never put any on. The fish was OK, but a bit bland and tasteless and is probably Hake not Haddock. The chips were cut badly and odd small shapes and some were burnt to a crisp. I had a buttered bap with me and that saved the day. Not bad price-wise, but as I don't live there definitely won't be going again.

The worst food I’ve had in a long time, I ordered spicy special satay! It had no spicy or flavour just bland like chicken soup without taste. The prawn crackers were ok that’s it. Waste of money . No wonder it was cheep

Delicious food at great prices fantastic service. Clean and lovely decor. Nice tables and parking. Recommend the set meal 4 courses at 12.00. Also do takeaway. Been here several times and consistently tasty.

Food is always amazing. Kay remembers our order every time and is happy to add requirements to the meal and cook it how we like it. Jules, her husband, is friendly and provides the best service. Just a wonderful business 10/10 recommend!!

Kay makes the most beautiful food, the quality of the ingredients are top notch. I can recommend the pineapple red curry, with coconut rice, my favourite dish from Kay's. I also love the sticky noodles, drunken noodles and the sticky noodles. All the dishes taste so fresh and bursting with flavour! Kay's Kitchen is an absolute jem of a place!

I had a small portion of Yakidon and the mini platter, this was definitely enough for me and my partner had a large pad mamaa, all well worth the money, the best Thai noodles I've ever had, not greasy just delicious. Thank you! Also if the chilli sauce that came with the mini platter was homemade I'd deffo suggest bottling and selling that separately 😍😍 can't wait to return and try out the rest of the menu!

Ordered a chicken korma well thought it was but it was absolutely abysmal, had no taste, flavours or texture to be a chicken korma, very watery. They delivered another to be no better than the first one to arrive. We won’t be ordering again from and certainly won’t be recommending it either.

Found this place a few months ago and been enjoying the food from this gem ever since. Been mostly having a combination of kebabs from the normal or the express, both very nice flavour especialy with the sauce choices and asking to have a nan. Had a chicken madrass which i find great in flavour and nice and hot. With pilau rice which was fluffy and flavoursome. I even tried the milkshake they serve there while passing by wich i found thick and creamy and has bit of chocalate for some extra flavour and texture. Overall i have been very please with the food the lads that work there are friendly and expressive and should be proud of themselves. Would recomend giving them a try and will be going again.

FOREVASINGLEMAN myself who recently visited Tariqs Chilli Hut recently (Saturday 12 April 2025 around 5.30pm BST) after a few years absent from my last visit here, ordered, paid and had a takeout from this establishment, and the same result as always from my last visit prior to this most recent visit, positive. The food is lovely and i have never ever yet thankfully so far had any or no problems from this establishment whatsoever. I will definitely return over and over again for good and great quality South Asian cuisine from Tariqs Chilli Hut here in Cleveleys just outside the town centre itself. Don't take my word for it, get down here and enjoy super South Asia delicacies right here in Cleveleys, and if FOREVASINGLEMAN says its super, it is super, always has and always will be while i am still living on planet Earth as it happens. 10 out of 10, or 111% i give it !

Excellent marinated chicken!!Never tasted such flavour......the sauce was divine and I will certainly be back for more. A huge thumbs up and the brothers running the restaurant really know what they are doing! Fabulous and highly recommended

Ordered yesterday for Mother’s Day and went for the Chicken Tikka Dopiaza which was delicious! The poppadoms weren’t very crispy. The onions didn’t have much flavour, the mint yoghurt and mango chutney also didn’t have much flavour and were very watery like they had been watered down! The curries were delicious so would order from here again either way but would be good to see some improves! Thank you guys!

Currys nice if you can't even handle bell peppers no taste and appalling presentation prices are fair sadly didn't take a photo of what I was served and was charged £20 for a korma that looks like bone broth🤬🤬!!

Had a breakfast bagel which was cooked fresh and absolutely delicious. Place is advertised as selling Atkinsons coffee which is normally good coffee. Big sign on the window with the Atkinson coffee logo, however the coffee was a big let down. Only serve cappuccino or latte and the latte I got tasted like dish water and ruined the Atkinson coffee beans. Service wasn't the friendliest either but it was morning so maybe not woke up yet. Food made up it 🍳

I won’t be returning to this place. The person running it today was caught mocking a customer in front of others in the shop — he thought it was on the sly, but he was noticed. Once he realised he’d been seen, he completely back-tracked. I’ve not personally had bad food here, but I’d heard from many others that this individual has a reputation for behaving poorly. A real shame, as he completely lets down the hard working ladies that do a good job in there.

Food is unbelievably good and tasty. The shop is definitely worth all the praise it gets and the owner, who has good banter, has clearly put a lot of effort into sourcing high quality ingredients. The breakfast pockets (similar to a wrap) are particularly good but honestly everything is nice I've had from there.

It has always been a nice place and the new owners have improved it even more. Great beers, great bar snacks and always a lovely, warm welcome. Easily the best pint of Guinness for 20 miles.

Definitely slipped since the new owners took over. I had to step over a sleeping dog to get a seat in the back room and another dog owner was allowing their dog to drink out of a pint glass, yuk!

This bar is a real gem in Thornton, it’s run as a bar should be. People are fantastic, every credit.

Brilliant family run pub, every one nice and welcoming and beer is very reasonable. Lots of options to choose from also dog friendly.

Fantastic bar with a warm friendly welcome. The staff genuinely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great time. I would highly recommend this bar if you haven’t already tried it. They have a good drink selection. I can recommend the gins 🍸 Whilst it looks small from the outside it stretches out the back with plenty of seating. If you have a dog then they are also dog friendly. 🐶

Love this place, don't visit as often as I'd like! Great selection of beers and gins! Reasonably priced! Can get very busy, but the seating outside on a warm summers evening is welcome! Dog friendly, friendly staff, will definitely be visiting again when I'm up that way!! Highly recommended 👌

Had a take away from China house 29/06/024 I had the Cantonese fried rice special also the beef and mushroom,totally surprised delivered when they said but when the meals cam they were as if they had just come out of the pan they were that hot. Great food and highly recommended.

Mediocre takeaway and by far the worst in the local area. I have ordered from here twice before and both times I was left disappointed in the quality of food. What was most disturbing about the negative experiences I have had was that they failed to hit the mark with traditional takeaway favorites such as Kung Pao Chicken and Shredded Beef. In particular, I found the Kung Pao Chicken’s texture frankly bizarre, it was slimy and wet as if were undercooked. If the main dishes of a typical Chinese takeaway is lackluster the quality of rice or chips cannot possibly make up for it. I cannot attest to the quality of the chips as I have never ordered them, however other reviewers appear to have found them satisfactory. The rice however, was subpar and dry. The only redeeming factor to this takeaway is the unmatched operating hours throughout the night making it an ideal option if the other superior takeaways in the area are closed. The staff are friendly enough and the service is okay. Overall, this is ultimately the takeaway of last resort only when other options are closed and you are willing to trade off quality for that convenience, and at a slight premium compared to other establishments as well!

Our usual venue choice was closed so we chose China House in Cleveleys for our family take away. Totally disappointed. Artificial. Tasteless. Over-cooked. Basic. Worst EVER. The egg fried rice was glued together. The noodle dried up. The sweet n sour chicken in rubber batter chunks with a pot of illuminous orange glob (no peppers, onions or pineapple. This is not a dish but a cheap option. Chips served dried and reheated. Will NEVER revisit. Or recommend. AND over-priced. Plus …it was miraculously ready in 10 mins from ordering. We should have doubted then !!

Absolute waste of £30, stopped using China House when got new owners couple of years ago, thought I’d give them another try as usual was closed on a Monday, was really looking forward to it and highly disappointed, couldn’t even eat it. Seaweed tastes like plastic and the crispy shredded beef was just great big hunks of chewy beef in sauce, nothing crispy about it at all!

Absolutely bloody delicious. Excellent food and service first class every time. Plenty of food for 2 and enough for the next evening too. Tried lots of takeaways since moving up here from London, but this is the best takeaway by far. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Visiting from Yorkshire on our holidays & wanted a takeaway to take back to our caravan! The food was ready quickly, was still piping hot after the 10 minute drive back and it was all very tasty! Fantastic spare ribs with loads of meat on them and the portions were huge! Will definitely return in the future!

Always order from here but never again, the chicken was so dry and the crispy chilli beef was inedible , couldn't chew any of it , the special rice was lovely and the salt and chilli chips was lovely but the rest was awful

First time ordering from Zabb. Nice friendly helpful staff as called direct to order but was directed to just eat so I could pay via card, thank you. Free prawn crackers included nice touch. Highly recommend the Chicken Satay and Salt and Pepper Prawns. Great service lovely fresh food fantastic portion size, good quality meat, tasty meal will definitely be ordering again. Kind Regards x

Just ordered a takeaway for delivery for the first time from Zabb and I have to say it was the best Thai meal I have ever eaten. Sticky Rice was delicious and even the Vegetable Spring rolls which I am rather fussy about were the best I have tasted since moving from the Midlands 20 years ago. We will definitely be ordering again. Thankyou

We ordered a wide selection of different foods. Excellent quality and service. The food was amazing. Cooked to order and hot. Definitely the best Thai food in this area. 09/04/23

I have just ordered off of habeebas and I recieved my order. Upon first inspection the garlic naan wasn’t cooked on one side. The kebab was dry and was cold. I then went to try the lamb naga and the taste was dreadful it had been as if they had put a whole cup of oil in it, also they had put so much spice in it it was inedible. Usually I enjoy the naga from my usual but I thought I’d give this a try. This was the single worst Indian takeaway I have ever had in my life. They had also put the salad in a plastic bag, this is a health and safety issue I won’t order from here again.

Two Chicken Tika main meals both cold. Chicken Pakora soggy and cold. No salad no mint sauce but the naan bread were ok. Not a great use of £26 to be honest

Would not order from here again, took 2 and a half hours to get delivered I rang up twice to see what was going on the guy was really rude the second time and clearly just wanted me off the phone pretty much just hung up at the end didn’t manage to get a word in with him. also food wasn’t even hot when it arrived was room temperature clearly had been in the delivery guys car for ages. Don’t waste your time or money order from somewhere else.

I ordered food from Habbebas in Thornton Cleveleys while on holiday at Fleetwood Haven, and it was the worst experience of my life. The naan bread was undercooked and looked filthy, and the doner kebab and curry were just as bad. Shortly after eating, I became seriously ill with diarrhea, and my husband, who has bowel issues, ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. He’s still very unwell. I have been in contact with the Wyre Commercial Safety Team, and they are now investigating this incident. They plan to conduct a health and safety inspection of the restaurant. If this place isn’t shut down, I will be shocked. The food was not only disgusting but outright dangerous. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered online at 6pm for delivery at 7pm. Order never arrived. Chased them at 25 past and then delivered at 7.45. Due to driver error and mishandling one curry wasn't delivered and which left us with one curry between two people. Food was nice and tasty. Summary.. Avoid deliverys which are cash on collection. No idea when they will turn up and what with.

I went in here and ordered 5 kebabs- when it came to £50, I queried the price of them as I find this dear for a bit of Donna meat. The man was so rude to me and told me to go elsewhere - very odd and defensive behaviour. Don’t worry, I did go elsewhere and I’d urge everybody else to spend their money elsewhere too. Manners cost nothing. Perhaps some customer service training would be beneficial for the staff here.

Took forever to arrive, when it did, it was cold. The Korma chicken was pink in places. Masala was inedible, the Madras made my partner ill for two days. Bhajis were dry, stale and cold. Naan was burnt badly. Never again! £67 down the drain. Was all thrown away.

Very disappointed as know that they have quite a few outlets in the area and are popular but I felt like it was very poor. Had to wait a long time to be served but the shop was only quiet and the staff member didn't acknowledge us at all to make us feel better. When the desserts did arrive, the wafers were stale, ice cream was nothing special and the whole sundaes and ice creams tasted pretty bland and plain. Certainly not good value for money at all, especially considering the cost. The outside seating area was lovely and new and looked incredible but it features no bins and was full of litter already. Unfortunately we won't be going again.

Always love ordering a nitro's. The workers there are lovely we usually order two Hershey milkshakes and collect them but tonight we thought lets get a waffle and a cookie dough and they did not disappoint despite a small mishap with the cookie it was fixed quick and tasty as always. The delivery drivers as well 10/10 so lovely!

Boiling hot day and was craving ice cream but I’m vegan so limited options. Nitro’s came through with a tasty Sicilian lemon that was so creamy and delicious. The staff there were super helpful and said there was always a vegan ice cream option or two!

Top notch ice cream, milkshakes, crepes, and cookie dough with great service. Be sure to stop by if you feel like treating yourself.

We booked for 7:30pm and 5 of us had a very enjoyable evening. We had a starter each and garlic bread between us followed by a variety of pasta meals and desserts, two bottles of Merlot and finished off with coffees. Reasonably priced 😉😉😉😉😉

Stumbled in here as we were staying at a nearby caravan site and were looking for somewhere serving food past 9pm, so glad we found it as the service was excellent, and everything we ordered was delicious and good value for money! Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Fabulous food & efficient, friendly staff. The pasta sauces are incredibly delicious. The pizza & garlic bread dough is made and 'spun' as you place your order; they are really tasty and moreish. All our meals (lasagne, gnocchi, pasta & garlic bread) were completely devoured due to the amazing standard of food 😋 The prices are very decent. I highly recommend this eatery & takeaway.

I had a great experience here I went for the first time today as soon as I walked in I was treated with respect and there was this guy who told me to get the lamb so I got the lamb barm and chips and let me tell you these were the best chips of my life and The lamb was amazing 100% 5 Stars definitely my go to spot from now on and I definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic value for money. The selection of veg and meats on offer suit anybody hungering for a traditional home cooked meal. Sunday dinner was delivered and was a treat. Veg was perfect , meat melted in your mouth and mash, roasties and yorkshire pudding were second to none. If you can't be bothered to cook and fancy a treat, this is the place to go!

Use to be a Top butty shop with thick Butchers sausages but now changed to thin chipolata over cooked dry and chewi but charges the same price won't be going again.

Good portion of meat. Home made yorkshires. Would have liked veg to be less soggy but that is personal preference. Staff very friendly and ice cream looked delicious loads of favourite flavours. Can take dogs into bar area and order food if you wanted. Dog bowls also provided. All round lovely pub.

We have been here 20+ times without a problem, and the poached eggs are always runny, this time they was well overcooked and hard so we asked for some more eggs and the picture below was the eggs we were served, makes me ill looking at it, it was as if they had thought because we had complained they would have a laugh and undercook them, the servers were polite though

Going round the Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Thornton area for many years. This is the best pub/dining establishment in the area. The food is very good, good choice of beers. The staff are smart, well dressed , polite with good service. It is definitely a cut above other similar places in the area. The prices are more expensive. But I think its worth it. Well done Joseph Holts .

Great food (except the naan with the curry which was hard, suspect it had been over microwaved). 5* anyway as the rest of the food was lovely and the staff were exceptional.

Popped in for some food today (02/01) The pub is lovely, spacious and clean. Food ok, little greasy to out liking. Service top notch! We had an issue with two of our meals - fish was over cooked and dry & burger had mayo when none was requested. Our server was very polite and rectified right away. We received new meals - both came out quickly and as they should be. We were offered complimentary deserts, which we declined. When paying they did not charge for one meal, this was much appreciated but not required. We would have happily paid full price due to the service. First photo first meal - second new meal

Visited three days ago for have cider and coffee at first. Coffee was good and even came with a delicious cookie. Ambience was quiet and cosy. We were happy and comfortable that my aunt, my uncle and I decided to stay for dinner as well. We were then led to a cosy area. We ordered and were served shortly with our orders. The food was big in portions and were tasty as well. We were served by a very bubbly, knowledgeable and capable waitress in Donna. She helped us in deciding with our orders and those decisions did not disappoint. We were overall very satisfied with our experience, the food served and the customer service. Definitely will come again!

Rather a mediocre meal for the price. Fish bland, chips rather hard and peas over microwaved. Service good during meal. Not worth a complaint or bad review but for the fact we went outside at half 9 with our drinks and next thing we know it's 10.10pm, the lights are off, doors locked and staff leaving. Glasses not collected & no notice so we couldn't use the toilet before we left. Won't be back.

First class food and service. August 2025 We had organised a celebration with a few friends (about 16) for my wife's 60th birthday last night and they did us proud. Everyone said how good the food was and there were dishes to suit all tastes. Even though our guests did not all arrive on time, the staff were very accommodating. Definitely a venue for more celebrations.

Went in last night, the place is clean and very well decorated, the man who set us at our table was very pleasent and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the food, we were adviced that the soup of the day was pumpkin and butternut squash however it came out as onion soup. My starter of chicken was cold but it was still tasty. The glazed veg was not glazed just steamed and the cheese cake was a hot pile of goo and mush. They were short staffed so hopefully it will improve.

Good food. Good service and handy location on a main route through Thornton to Fleetwood. The junction nearby is currently a nightmare however! The waiter we had was great with the kids, really patient with them. We had the fish goujon butty, it was quite big and filling and not too badly priced. Kids had the 2 courses for £6.99 and they were good portions too. The pictures are of the food after we had started eating as we were all starving and tucked straight into it. The decor of the pub is lovely and it was a peaceful place to sit for lunch.

A nice little pub, never had any food here so I can't rate that, but does has a nice atmosphere. Staff, are friendly and helpful Usually pop in once a month as i don't live local to it.

Absolutely stunning food! All freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Ladies serving were very polite and friendly! Large fish and chips was huge! I had homemade chicken curry and chips and it was gorgeous 😍. Clean tables which were quickly wiped down and ready for the next customers, spotlessly clean! Would definitely go back again 😋

Very busy for eating in and takeaway but was greeted straight away by a server. My children and I looked at the menu and made our choice and the server apologised several times about how busy it was and said she wouldn't be long, but we didn't mind the wait as we'd enjoyed some lovely time on the beach first. We placed our order and drinks were promptly served. The food is always great quality here the batter is perfectly crispy and the chips light, fluffy and nicely browned. The staff are all very nice and the atmosphere is always lively.

Great meal. I had regular cod, husband had jumbo haddock. Friends had regular cod and chips . All portion sizes large and we all left some chips. One took hers home . We shared peas and gravy. Good cups of tea. Fair prices for excellent food. Come here every time we visit Cleveleys. Nice friendly staff. Helpful.

Got recommended by a friend of ours who lives in Blackpool and weren't disappointed. The boyfriend and I shared a large fish and chips but I had to order another normal fish as it was so nice just for myself! The chips and mushy peas were amazing too. Probably the best chippy we've had in the last two or three years.

This is our favourite itallian in the area. Great food.. ribs , king prawns for starter are great. My favourite that I go back for are the chicken livers starter 😋 gorgeous. The mains are great steak excellent. The staff are amazing very friendly always go above and beyond to make sure your having great evening. The manager is very friendly excellent service. Visited this quaint neapolitan pizzeria/restaurant situated in Cleveleys Town Centre (between Blackpool and Fleetwood) last night to satisfy our cravings for Italian food and they did not disappoint. We sampled their Prezzo Fisso/Set menu which is only £22 for 2 courses. 》Anatra | 6hr Confit Duck leg, braised pak choi, mash potato and plum glaze 》Seabass | Pan roasted Seabass fillet in herbs butter and Parmesan Risotto 》Rotolo | Duck confit rolled in crispy filo pastry 》Fritto Misto | Arancini, fried pasta, potato croquets 》Garlic Pizza bread | Olive oil, rosemary, roast garlic & sea-salt 》Tiramisu and Bread & Butter Pudding The starters certainly whet our appetites which had balanced flavours while the mains were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The fresh seabass complimented the delicate risotto and the tender duck just fell off the bone. An exceptional meal, very satisfied with them. The signature desserts were so addictive, quite impossible to say no to their heavenly tiramisu and bread & butter pudding. Their seafood/meat are locally sourced, freshly made pastas and they only use the best quality, imported ingredients. Overall, a buzzing spot with attentive staff and an extensive food & drinks menu which won't break the bank. Please do check this place out if you're in the area, I highly recommend them. Looking forward to try the other items on their menu on our next visit.

We rang up in the afternoon hoping that we could get a table & we did. We have been here quite a few times & it never fails to impress us. It’s a lovely setting & the staff are good at what they do. We didn’t have desserts on this occasion as we were both full.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience here. The food was well made and beautifully presented. I had a livornese fish stew. It was full of a variety of seafood which was nowt special, unseasoned, and from the freezer but well sourced. However, it's the depth of flavour you get from the tomato sauce that is worth writing home about. And, of course, the people were wonderful. We'd gladly recommend this one to anyone

I wanted to share some very disappointing feedback regarding the service we received last night. Unfortunately, it fell far below the standard we were expecting. From the outset, the service was appalling. At no point were we approached to be asked if we wanted drinks – instead, we had to keep going up to the bar ourselves throughout the evening, which was not what we anticipated given the setting. It felt disorganised and inattentive. Adding to our frustration, there was a waiter who spent a significant amount of time – on and off for well over an hour – chatting to one customer at length, rather than attending to the rest of the guests. This only highlighted the lack of attention the rest of us were receiving. The wait for food was unacceptable. It took nearly an hour for our starters to arrive, and it was close to two hours before we received our main courses. By that point, the evening had become more about waiting than enjoying the meal. Overall, it was a deeply frustrating experience and certainly not what we expected. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the level of service needs urgent improvement.

Pulcinellas seems to be an all male service and is a rarity in the world of Italian eateries as it's LGBTQ+ friendly. This visit is only a 'fair' overall food rating in that the fish and shellfish stew contained a large piece of 'off' fish. I spat it back onto the spoon and informed the staff. I was told I had already eaten half so I could pay for the half of the dish I'd eaten. Okay. We totally understand there are fraudsters out there. We aren't those people. In the end we were not charged for the fish/shellfish stew. Such a shame about that one piece of fish (assuming it was just the one as lits left on plate) but these things can happen. I chose the stew with expectation of a delicious soup base with carefully placed high quality seafood. A light hand from a confident, calm chef might have seriously helped the food experience overall (every diner is a food critic). My stew would have been improved by a 'less is more' approach - less pink trout/rock salmon and gungho plating to start with, and more use of the human nose to detect rancid fish prior to cooking. The shellfish were seriously overcooked which was such a shame. Pulcinella has an early doors set menu 'tho we preferred the full menu options. Other half said the hand made pasta was lovely but the weird addition of crunchy demerara sugar on top spoilt it. I sampled and had to agree. Ask to leave that out if you do choose to eat here. House white was lovely - shame I left the undrunk wine behind whilst paying. Oops. Asked for and got a crispy canoli as dessert, which one of the waiters said I was very lucky to get so I say thank you so much for going to that extra effort. My review is based on personal experience of dinner service on 19/07/2023. I pride myself on giving reflective and fair reviews.

Been long time customer for their kebabs, fish and chips. Always enjoyed the meal especialy for the quantity of food you get. Staff are very friendly and chatty if willing to speak and all have great personality. Will definitely carry on coming, especially in need for pig out portion for a good price. Note it is a takeaway/delivery only now, indoor restaurant no longer exist, but i did love the buffes they had when they were a restaurant.

The staff are always friendly and if you are a regular customer they tend to remember your name. The fish is very good and the portions are amazing (and I've been spoilt coming from Grimsby). As for their kebabs, they are legendary and could feed a small family for a week.

Food from here never disappoints, I’ve been coming here for years. Kebabs are big enough to feed 2 people minimum! Meat is super tasty and fresh naan too. Also plenty of sauce! Garlic naan and cheese is massive. Not tight on the cheese or garlic either. Best naan I’ve had. Staff are always super friendly when I go in for collection. Couldn’t recommend Michael’s enough. Top quality food, huge portions and great service.

Had a deal on fish and chips for 2 which was £16.50 plus 2 sides , we got mushy peas and Indian curry. OMG it was lovely, in each box you get a fish and chips plus another small fish in each box , you could feed 2 adults and 2 kids , the Indian curry sauce was amazing.

I came with a group friends in July 2025. We had a fantastic night and all the group commented on the excellent service and good food, this was from the moment we walked through the door to leaving. Steve had a great knowledge of the food selection and the choice of the house red for me complimented the meal which was really tasty. I would recommend to anyone to go for a meal but we found out when we were there that they do take outs too so that is Saturday night sorted!! Sorry no photos last time this time I made the effort I just got the aroma from my spicy noodles and had to eat both sweet and spicy the vegetables cooked to perfection reminded me of my days in Thailand. Spicy chips were tasty as well a little too much but ate every bit heat and flavour the meal was delivered early the young lady was very pleasant even the gentleman who took the order professional and efficient would recommend I added photos this time a beautiful young waitress very pleasant and professional took me back to my times in bangkok, no sign of my favourite waitress tonight but the staff were very friendly and our meal was ready. No chan beer but I think there is a shortage right now a pre birthday celebration the soup though tasting the lemongrass could have been hotter it was last time but full flavour that isn't a complaint just very used to hot food a lot more flavour than Chinese keep up your excellent standard of service and execution of the dishes

Best Thai Meal I've had in the UK and the soup was better than all I've tried even in Thailand. Will defo come back again from Blackburn.

A very warm and friendly restaurant. Staff very attentive, and food so delicious with a varied menu. Always a pleasure to visit!

Service wasn't good or bad. Just average. Was led to a table that wasn't laid. I ordered Chicken Tikka Madras and Garlic Naan Bread. The sauce was excellent but the chicken definitely wasn't tikka. The garlic bread was very good though. Doubt I would return as the meal wasn't quite as good as I was led to believe from previous reviews. Also the extra touches that you expect at a Indian Restaurant were missing, for example no hot towels, mints at the end of a meal etc. Nobody asked me if I wanted a dessert or coffee.

The food here is always excellent. You may have to wait a little but it's worth the wait. The last time we had a takeaway as we couldn't make the restaurant but it was just as good as usual. The staff are always friendly .

I went in with a party of 16 in total. With such large bookings things can go a bit downhill but that was not the case at Meherin. The service was faultless, constantly offering new drinks and checking that everything is ok. The food arrived in a timely manner, which can be tricky with large bookings, but the restaurant and the kitchen is clearly very well managed. On top of that the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Had another fabulous meal tonight. Always a pleasant greeting from Taz. The food is always delicious and service is excellent despite the restaurant being fairly busy. Overfaced myself and had to bring half my meal home for lunch tomorrow. Excellent value for money.

If you fancy waiting 1.45hrs for your starters than this is the place for you! Oh and if you complain to the manager after being ignored for 1,5 hrs he starts arguing in front of the whole restaurant. Very embarrassing for him. Perhaps he should start hiring plenty of staff so he can actually run his restaurant properly. First and last time here. What a joke.

The food was ok. Maybe we got the wrong day - very busy and we've waited one hour for the main course. Atmosphere...0 . Too dark . I couldn't hear any music apart from the happy birthday...

awful - whole atmosphere very uncomfortable old Italian bloke was shouting very aggressively towards two young waitresses who proceeded to cry. Food taste lovely shame it was ruined by a group of men who was shouting and the horrible man shouting at his staff dissapointed to say the least at what I thought to be a pleasant Saturday evening.

I’m going to be generous and say the food was “ok” the service and attitude however was not. We were booked in for a 5:30 dinner and it was explained that they needed the table back at 7:15, changed at the last minute from 7:30 because our party had a wheelchair and that apparently meant more time was needed to put a chair back. ANYWAY. Because we were a big party we were asked to preorder, which we did no problem. However on arrival we then sat waiting over 30minutes before the starters arrived so we were pretty much down to 1:15 hours to eat two pre booked courses. At the end of the meal we were handed dessert menus and we ordered the children ice creams. As the waitress was coming to take the other dessert orders another waiter came over. Grabbing the menus from our hands saying “no! You need to leave”. It was so rude and so abrupt I was in shock, I think the waitress was too. I understand that we had a time slot but that was NOT the way to handle it! We left the restaurant as quickly as we could, especially as we now had two crying children who had just ordered ice cream to be told they now weren’t having it. As we were leaving the other table were waiting by the door for us to leave so it was pretty chaotic. I understand restaurants like to turn tables, but maybe in future don’t book so close together and maybe if you are giving tables a tight timescale, don’t take 30 minutes to serve pre ordered food.

Nice restaurant on a back street of Cleveleys. We ate there on a Thursday evening and they had an offer of 2 courses for £15, which was excellent value. Delicious food and friendly staff. Not much atmosphere as we were the only ones in there but I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Having lived close by for many years, my girlfriend and I thought we'd finally give Benvenuti a go. We ordered two Margherita pizza's to go, and the order came with an additional garlic bread with cheese. And we were very impressed! A lovely tomato sauce on the pizza's, not overly sweet, and was covered in lot's of cheese too. The dough has gone through a fermentation process too, giving it a light and bubbly texture. We'll be definitely coming back in the future to try other items from their menu. Grazie!

This were our first time here, my fiance had fried squid i had the garlic king prawns absolutely gorgeous and we got 2 pasta's with a free garlic bread with cheese was out of this world, i had disaranno and cranberry juice and he had a pint of meretti larger all came too £49 and my fiance tipped extra £10, so everything 10/10 well recommended and abs going back 😀

Absolutely amazing food and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommend the garlic bread, fillet steak and lemon dessert. The portions are large, food is gorgeous and this place should be way busier than it is. Definitely will be going more often.

Had a fantastic meal here tonight, there was quite a large group of us which they handled perfectly, they split the bill as we went through and had everything down to a T. The food was fantastic, very hot and tasted great. The staff were in really good spirits as well. We'll be back there again soon.

The Carousel is located off the main high street in Cleveleys, and is bigger than it first seems. The main dining area is clean but dated, which is exactly what you'd expect for Cleveleys. I ordered Breakfast No. 4, which is as pictured: one jumbo sausage, fried bread, toast, beans, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, a fried egg, black pudding, and two rashers of bacon. The quality of many of these products is questionable - customers should be given a choice between tinned tomatoes or whole tomatoes. I personally found these tinned tomatoes to be mush, like overly sweet tomato puree. My only other complaint about the food is that it was overly greasy. Service was fine, and my dining companions were satisfied with their meals. It was not badly priced.

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. A lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. First impressions were it looked clean and tidy. A fairly extensive menu with a good range of options. Staff were pleasant and friendly. I went with the Mixed Grill at £19.95. My fellow diner went with the Fish and Chip Special at £12.50. You get fish, chips, peas, slice of bread and butter and a pot of tea. So prices were pretty reasonable. The Mixed Grill was huge. I couldn’t finish it. So no complaints about quantity but being honest it wasn’t the best quality. Some of the meat was a bit tough and definitely didn’t care for the sausage. However, the chips were good and someone knows how to fry an egg properly. Overall no complaints about our visit here. It was okay, a run of the mill dining experience. However, there was nothing special or different about it that would have us rushing back to eat here again.

A proper traditional greasy spoon cafe, brilliant food and generous portions, great value for money yummy food.bthe belly busting breakfast is awesome! There are a lot of cafes on the main road, this is just off the main road. Out of all the cafes in the area this is by far the best. Get to the Carousel and forget the rest👍

Decided to call in here just after 4 of us arrived in Cleveleys for the day, ordered 4 coffees, 2 of us had fruit scones, 1 with butter and 1 with jam and cream, they were the best scones I've ever had in a cafe! They were nice and warm too, one bacon barm and another toasted fruit teacake, the woman who served us was really friendly, we go to Cleveleys quite often and I will definitely be hoing back in, they ad some nice looking cakes in the counter and the prices were reasonable

Our first visit to this lovely licenced, family run cafe. An extensive menu and good value, with generous portions. Beers, wines and spirits are available. I had the Mega carousel burger, and my Mum had the Steak Canadian with a side salad. My mum had a pot of tea for one which held three cups worth, and I had a can of coke. At £21.95 between us, it was good value and we would go back again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Will provide assistance and table service. Clean. Good food and prices great value. Offer oap specials, 3 course special and all day breakfast. Good menu.... proper lunches served everyday. Good dessert selection..if have main meal they can serve alcohol.

The glasshouse hosted my 30th surprise birthday party and although the time keeping for the venue caused a little stress beforehand. Olivia who was hosting most of the day went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. She was just brilliant from start to finish and you are very lucky to have her. A rather terrible experience, the atmosphere was non existent, the food was poor and the staff were invisible, I would like to clarify I was here for my mother's 53 birthday. We arrived at 6:45 slightly later than the rest of the party, there starter had already been ordered, 15mins in at the server showed her face to order our drinks,a10mins after that the drinks came and they proceeded to take our food order, I ordered the vodka smoked haddock with a pea risotto, 30-40 mins after we arrived there starters appeared, 30mins after that the mains came to the table. I shall start with the staff, they decided that on a Saturday evening the brightest idea would be to only have 2 young members of staff working, whose priorities lied less on customer satisfaction and more on chatting, being slow and disinterested. Attached Is a picture of my meal, I would have named it rice haddock and peas with a deep fried chunk off fish being used as a top hat. I have to say the fish within the risotto was very nice no real sense of vodka bit nice all the same. That however was the only upside personally I would have done the pea puree, risotto and haddock all presented separately and gotton rid of the fish hat. There were bits of risotto that were undercooked and some of the peas were burnt and some were undercooked, I am just flabbergasted as to how that is possible with pea that are more than likely frozen. After the meal we arranged to have a cake delivered so we could sing happy birthday and the staff forgot all about, it's 2 hours off my life I will never get back and all I can do is warn others off this experience and tell them to go elsewhere. Upon reading the reply from the restaurant I would like to clarify something, it wasn't me who complained at the end of meal as I left early to not cause a scene, I didn't eat all of the meal, it wasn't me who was "intimidating" the young employee, i left £45 for 2 meals and 2 drinks so even though I didn't enjoy it I still paid the full amount and if only £70 was left I paid over half of that amount, as a result of me voicing my opinion online I have been banned from the restaurant under false pretences and mistaken identity. No apology, no form of communication just a straight up ban if this is the level of customer service then I'm not sure if I want to go back.

Recently had my sons 21st birthday here . We were able to go in during the day to decorate the tables how we liked. Food was amazing and can't fault a thing. Service was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and it was a really great evening. Would highly recommend!

Visited on 10.02.2019 with my daughter and her family, and I have to say we had a fantastic experience. The staff are really lovely, very accommodating, and the food was superb, cooked to perfection, and fairly priced. The atmosphere was really nice. Also, toddlers eat for free - which given the quality of the food on offer is excellent. I'm so pleased to have found this place and I will definitely be visiting again soon. Huge thank you to all the staff.

I recently dined at Hickory's with a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. To start, we opted for the Tuesday daily special: Popcorn Bites and Prawn Tacos. Both dishes were excellent, with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients that set a strong tone for the meal. For our main courses, we ordered the Brisket Sub and Skewers. The brisket was exceptionally tender, and the skewers were perfectly cooked, demonstrating the kitchen’s skill in preparing quality meats. After settling the bill, we enjoyed a relaxed moment at the bar, where we sampled Hickory’s signature *Driftaway* brew—a smooth and satisfying choice. Our third visit and has never disappointed. The service is always brilliant. The dishes we've had so far are all excellent. Usually come here for date night but it was my birthday this time - had a lovely treat from them.

Booked for my fiancés birthday. Thank you to everyone who made it so special, sat outside as it was a nice hot day too and even got a free cake. Tried the popcorn brisket for the first time compliments to the chefs as the food was absolutely divine, the waiters/waitresses are so welcoming and friendly too. Thank you for making it really special worth every penny

Table of 10 on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing, great atmosphere. The server was friendly and attentive. Starters were ok. I had the pork tacos. They were too soggy for me, so I wouldn't eat again. Pretzel bites were better. Mains. All cooked well, nice flavours. I had hotdog n chips. The Cobb salad was a bit limp, kinda expected a nice corn on the cob. Onions rings were cooked nice. Few had puddings, and they came out nicea 👍 all in all a great place.

We visited on Thursday night for mine and my boyfriend’s anniversary meal. My boyfriend had put a note on the booking saying this and our server John went above and beyond. We were treated to complimentary prosecco, and a beautiful desert with strawberries, marshmallows and dipping chocolate all on the house. The service was absolutely second to none. Couldn’t recommend the place more

Came for my 40th birthday for my first experience and oh my word, what an amazing time! Great service, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The drinks were beautiful and the food was out of this world. That sharing platter, nothing on it was less than perfect. Be hungry when you come though because it’s not for the faint hearted! All in all an absolutely superb experience and will definitely come again

Had the banquet Sunday evening, waiting staff great explained the menu, the food and service was excellent, to cap it all our hostess Cheryl was great in the chat of both our group and herself. An absolute pleasurable evening and would recommend to anyone in the area to make a visit. Peterborough might be our next stop HT.

The food was lovely and the staff are very attentive. Have been going here everytime we come up to Blackpool since we found it around 5 years ago and the quality of food is just as good as the first time. Cost is around the same as most other places and if you get the meal 5-7pm, 2 can eat for £25. Great fortune House is well worth a visit.

Banquet B meal for 8 with drinks £230 Booked table for 6:30 on a Thursday and we got seated immediately. Staff were quick and all meals and drinks served promptly. Most of us were driving and maybe £3.50 for a soft drink is a little bit steep but that was our only complaint. The food was absolutely delicious. We mostly got different dishes and sides so we could do our own buffet style meal. It was a bit quiet but aren't most places now unfortunately.

Ordered a takeaway for 6 people. First time using this Chinese. After reading the reviews we placed an order. The food was FRESH and HOT when it arrived, LARGE portions and TASTY. I have no issues with this resturant and our guests enjoyed their meals. Thank you for great service we can not fault it in any way. Even got FREE crackers! Would DEFINITELY used Great Fortune House again. Its our new go to Chinese. Recommended 5 *****

We have been going here for weeks now, food is tasty and the portions are big. Staff are super friendly and attentive.

My family and I have eaten here often, usually on a Saturday afternoon during a day out in Cleveleys, to the point where some members of staff recognise us. It is always impeccable. Service is quick and friendly, even when the cafe is busy, and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the cheese and onion pie, as well as the ham salad - but honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It is all good.

Absolutely fantastic establishment, lovely food and a warm and homely ambiance. The fish and chips, which I had, were delectable. Fresh, tasty and hot. Decent pricing, with a very British feel which I always appreciate. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cleveleys.

Had a lovely experience in this friendly cafe on Sunday with my husband and daughter. Service was quick efficient very pleasant food was excellent very fresh and great value for money. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and she was well accommodated. All round a lovely visit and one we will be repeating. Thank you

Always had great food until Friday. Fish was nearly all batter and overcooked.Hot chocolate was abysmal. Very friendly staff but so so disappointed with food . Sadly time to move on elsewhere

Now over the years I've visited n dined here it's was always but this year June 2025 the food was nowhere as good as before we had fish n chips the fish was dripping in fat n the chips still had eyes in one chip was green will have to think of to visit again

Great service and excellent customer service . Quality fish and chips, pot of tea and slice bread and butter x 2 £15.50 . Waitress was a bit keen to clear tables, I had few chips left that I'd done with but my partner had not quite finished with the fish on her plate before it was removed without asking. Waitress loss no £4.50 tip as paying cash with £20 note.

We ordered a take away from here tonight for first time. Wow, it was really tasty and plentiful, we had chips, fried rice, beef curry, chicken balls and prawn crackers. Best we have ever had yet. Thanks

Me & My Husband went for a meal for Valentine's Day, upon our arrival we were shown to our table and upon getting seated I couldnt believe the state of my chair all the plastic had come off, first impressions was not good. The floor under our table was full of crumbs, the bottom tablecloth was grubby and it was a shame as the food was lovely. The attention to detail definitely needs looking at and new chairs wouldnt go a miss.

Just had the pleasure of eating here for the first time. Early dining at 5.30 so not many in the restaurant but a steady calling for take away. I saw poor reviews and was a little apprehensive. I need not have been. Food exceptional service excellent. Very good value but no alcohol licence and I witnessed people taking there own wine and beer which was encouraged. Please note cash only. Cannot wait to return.

What an excellent takeaway. The food was hot, very tasty & ready for collection on time. Can recommend the Hydrabadi & Karahi curry. Both were superb. Even got some free Popadoms!! Will certainly use Clay Oven again for our next takeaway.

1st visit to this hidden gem. Finding a suitable restaurant is very difficult as my wife is wheelchair bound,accessibility and toilet facilities are sometimes very difficult to find in a lot of restaurants This place not only fits the bill but also serves fantastic food,the service is absolutely spot on and the final bill was a lot cheaper than expected. Will be making many more visits to this fantastic restaurant.

I don't normally do reviews, but. I feel the owners need to know. I was asked what I wanted with just one foot in the door. The chips were hard, mushy peas hard and no taste. It's such a shame this used to such a good fish and chip shop. I will not be going back. Please read the reviews and make some changes.

Called in on my lunch break. As a child I would come every week with my nan and it was the best chippy around. Fast forward 35 years. Times have changed a little. Food was ok chips for me a bit hard. And fried sausage a touch of done. Barm cake had a little spread on it which look like it had been done first thing in the morning, dry and soaked into barm. The chap running it was on his own and felt sorry for him. Cook , table serving, cleaning. And more. Some staff hired may make it a bit easier, and make the customer’s experience better. Tried not to be to critical as I have a fond place in my heart to this chippy , even since changing ownership.

First time ordering for delivery, 10/10 food arrived piping hot and was lovely and my son cleared his plate, this will be my go to chippy.

Just a follow up on my 3 star rating, very disappointed overall, bitty chips, over cooked peas, and possible frozen haddock. This is based on the Quality of food. The service was prompt, and the staff were polite.But sadly won't be using this place for some time.

Disgusting attitude! Decided to give this place one more chance as it used to be nice. My partner went round and ordered our food (over £30) and read out our order 3 times which included 2 TUBS of gravy. When he returned with the food they had smothered 2 of the meals in gravy, making the already greasy food really soggy and inedible. My sister went to ask them to rectify the issue and was given nothing but attitude by the young girl at the counter and the man cooking and told it is our problem, not theirs. My partner then returned and was given the same attitude. After refusing to leave without either a refund or a fresh order, they begrudgingly made the 2 meals again. Will not be using again purely due to the attitude we were given when it was their error in the first place!

Best chippy I have bought from,great price and generous portions. Nice fish,fresh and flakey and the batter is nice..chips are spot on too. Friendly staff and owners😊 Will definitely be making this my regular chippy. 👍

Awful, bland, smothered in oil, tasteless This place used to be amazing however this is not the case any longer possibly another victim of covid. We ordered a keema bhuna, chips, 2 portions of onion bhajis, 4 chapattis. As soon as I placed the bag on my counter I knew it was gonna be a rough ride, the bag its self was covered in oil. The curry its self tasted of nothing, absolutely nothing, no spice, no flavour, im actually impressed how they managed to get produce and meat to taste of nothing, the chips where nothing special, soggy frozen chips, the chapatti was too thick, small and very chewy not what a chapatti should be at all, it gets worse, the oil squirted down my chin when I took a bite of the onion bhajis and I mean actually inedible. There wasn't even a pleasant taste to make up for the heart attack worthy amount of oil in this little ball, the sauce pots couldn't possibly get any smaller and even then they arnt full, im angry and disappointed. Coming from a culture thats so rich in spices and the most sensational flavour profiles this 'chef' should be ashamed of himself to send this food out! General rule of thumb if you wouldn't serve it to your mum dont serve it to anyone else! Will not be returning. Please dont waste your money or your time going here, pictures as proof.

While the food was ok we were disappointed with the service. We placed an order for delivery at 6:15pm, our confirmation said delivery would be 7:15pm. 7:30pm I called to ask where it was, we did get an apology but the food still didn’t arrive until 7:45pm Shame because the food was nice

Disappointed with food. Got meal for 2. Starters were pre- prepared and microwaved. They were average. Main course totally disappointed. Ask for lamb karai and got something like a dupaiza with the taste of uncooked red chilli powder. Bland taste to all dishes we ordered. No compliments to chef however service was good friendly and attentive.

Ordered a few meals they were put on order for delivery. It was a Saturday night so it was busy. It was 30 minutes late though and had some things missing 😤 rang up and it took a while for them to believe what I was saying. Asked them to check with the delivery driver in case a bag was missing. Did receive a phone call from owner abd they sent some things that were missing back but it was too late I was too full from rice and the Korma I ate. Missed my garlic nan and samosas that were supposed to come free. The food was good though. But very frustrating as missed having it with my meal.

A freezing cold day in Cleveleys was saved by the discovery of this little gem. Everything pies (and chips and other alternatives), including steak, chicken &bacon and even vegan alternatives. This is a lovely pie emporium. We weren't really hungry so I ordered the meat pie, horseradish mash and pea/carrot veg. We had intended to share, which wasn't a problem for the staff. But, having seen and test tasted my pie Mrs G couldn't help but order the same as me. Absolutely delicious and full of tender beef. The pies are made on the day by the owner so you can be sure that what you get is really fresh. If you're in the area drop in and tuck in, you won't be disappointed! The owners are really friendly and up for a chat.

Yay vegan pies!! The vegan butter pie is amazing. It's the best vegan option they have. Also the Sunday roast pies box is so good. Especially the carrots with rosemary they are so so good.

Fantastic food and well priced. We all really enjoyed the Sunday dinner deal. Portion was great and really really tasty pie, gravy, veg and Yorkshire pud. My 5 year old and 2 year old loved the steak pie and ate every last bit! Can't wait to order again.

My first time trying Charlie's and it won't be my last. I phoned my order in for delivery and the staff member was so very helpful. I had the minted lamb pie with premium mash and mushy peas followed by strawberry waffle. Every cooked item was superb, well seasoned and very tasty. The portions were generous and everything arrived in sustainable packaging, a nice touch.

The staff are so friendly, the restaurant is spotless. Food exceptional as are the home made cakes. When we've had delivery the food is always piping hot. Can't wait to order again. As for negative reviews I suspect trolls are at it again. We'll worth a visit or several!

The pies from here are made fresh and you can really taste the difference, no mass produced rubbish here! They taste amazing and the mash is lovely and silky. I would highly recommend this take out. They do have a seated restaurant too and we'll definitely be trying that sometime soon if this is the standard. We wish the family who own this establishment all the best in this new venture....you'll go far with food like this 😁

Came here for dinner with my hubby as part of our date night. Arrived about 6pm on a Saturday and it was empty so we were served quickly. Food took about 20-30 minutes made fresh. I had the Smiley Cyprus Chicken and hubby had the Big Pig. Both were really nice - only downside was the sweet chilli on the chicken burger really overpowered the flavour of the chicken and halloumi, but was still lovely 🥰 portion of 6x onion rings and 2x drinks came to bang on £20.

Burgers are excellent, hand pressed and cooked perfectly. You get a nice amount of fries and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Over all my lunch at The Gourmet Burger was very nice indeed, I would highly recommend a visit, I know it will be a place I regularly frequent.

Came here for the 1st time since opening, never seen it before in the 31 years i've lived around Cleveleys. The 2 ladies were super nice, very smiley and polite and the food just topped it off. Fantastic flavour in the chips, fantastic chicken burger with the toppings. 100% reccomend this place to anyone 😊

Poor service and customer care. As a regular for several years- because the food isn’t bad -if sparing I’ve now decided that my recent experience has meant I won’t be returning. Why? Because the lady totally ignored me for fifteen minutes while jawing to the only other customer in the shop. I was so angry with here rudeness I left the shop. On a previous occasion I asked for two plastic bags. One was for my and my wife’s food, the other for food I had ordered for a friend who lived in another street. She refused! How petty is that?!

They accept cards, very important to me, quite cheap but relatively small portion, better go for medium or large. Nice service, tasty food and 5* hygiene rating.

What can one say about the Corner Chippy, apart from... Excellently cooked food, orders taken over the phone and the owners are cheerful and jolly. I wish there was a Corner Chippy like this, in every village, town and city. 😁👍🏻

So, we booked a Father’s Day meal here. After we had been before and found it fantastic! Tonight, if in Frank, was a comedy of errors. We turned up - no one to greet us. Someone who didn’t work in the restaurant had to find someone. We were then taken to our seat and the menus we were given were on scrappy pieces of a4, which had clearly been used all day. No drinks menu at all, despite asking. Then we realised the menu was very limited and asked if they served pizza as there was none on the menu. Told there were no pizzas on offer, however I explained it was a pizza restaurant. Then told we could only have pizza after half 5 (it was 5:28). Begrudgingly given a pizza menu then! The view of the area we were looking at was a bit of a mess. Barely anyone in, so no atmosphere and the staff needed training. A smile would have gone a long way as the girl who served us was making us anxious and kept wanting to take the order straight away. We decided to eat elsewhere and just had drinks. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning. Senior management need to consider their training process for service staff. I certainly don’t blame them. It lies with them.

We visit the crossbar at least twice a week as our children train here. Some of the bar staff need some training on how to have a friendly mannerism. I found one member of staff to be rude when i ordered food. No please or thank you when i was handing money over. Food is way over priced. Each week the potion sizes seem to reduce dramatically. My daughter was asked to drink her drink (one she brought with her) outside as we hadn't purchased it from the bar!

I'm not a football person in any way so would never have ended up here normally, however glad I did. Great facilities, great atmosphere and fantastic food, next time we're in the area we'll definitely be back 👍👍👍👍👍

I’m really disappointed. I ordered the McSpicy Chicken Burger, and what I received didn’t even feel like food. The chicken patty looked and felt like a hard, flat stone — completely inedible. I couldn’t take a single bite. It wasn’t fresh at all — the color was off, the texture was strange, and it seemed like it had been sitting there for days. I was hungry and excited, but I had to throw it away. It’s not something you serve to any human being. Anyone who handled that burger could clearly see it wasn’t okay to send out. That’s what hurts the most. I expected better from McDonald’s.

Went here for my tea NEVER AGAIN took them 20 minutes to give me my food. Firstly, meant to have a toffee latte no toffee or cream insight also the coffee was like coloured water. The Worse of it all there was a fly on one of our burgers. DISGUSTING!

Stuff missing as usual. Can't claim a refund on the app. I genuinely am starting to think they do it on purpose knowing people can't actually get a refund. It's absolutely disgusting. This store is by far the worst and it needs a complete overhaul in staff. The training is diabolical. There's no sense of urgency. I would be livid if this was my business. I won't be back. I've given it so many chances. That's the last time. All because I wanted it delivered. Big mistake. Last time my order was all wrong. Ingredients added. Please train staff on allergies and how serious is is to put the wrong ingredients on. The time before that half my order missing. The time before that I stood waiting 40 minutes for food. We arrived after there was no other fast food close enough to where we were and it was about the usual time for tea, ended up gridlocked outside from the queue of the drive thru. Once you step inside, half the shop is closed due to cleaning (which there is nobody doing anything, it looks completely fine) but luckily there wasn’t many people here. Given there wasn’t many there, 20 minute wait for 3 meals is shocking, and once it arrived, my chips were cold and my burger was squashed half inside the bun half out!! I know i should cut it some slack as it is mac donald’s however i have been to busier ones, (Kings Cross, Skipton and Forster Sq Bradford are good examples) and there service was brilliant.

Visited recently and there was a lady called Sue and her customer service was exceptional. Asking everyone how their food was, getting people extra sauces, helping clear customer tables. She was also so polite with other members of staff. A real credit to herself and the company.

Son was given 8 chicken nuggets instead of 9. He said it happens all the time in this branch. He's eleven year old and his maths is superior to the McDonald's workers. There is just one toilet at this branch and the paper was gone (cardboard roll). It shouldn't be up to customers to point this out.

Sadly I am not able to give much of a higher rating for this particular McDonald's restaurant as overall each visit has been quite disappointing, the establishment has been open now for a few years and I had hoped over time that both service and food quality would have improved but this has not been the case at all On nearly all occasions in my experience it is not possible to obtain a complete order straight away, regardless of what I seem to ask for there is nearly always a requirement for me to park up and wait while the missing items are prepared and brought out to me. This is incredibly annoying as while you wait for specific items like burgers or special orders, the rest of your food is cooling, what's worse is that it is not uncommon to have delayed food handed over to you which has also sat for a while and has also cooled. Overall I do not recommend this particular McDonald's at all and would recommend traveling an extra few miles into Fleetwood where no of the issues I've mentioned here appear to occur (ever).

Nipped in for a quick pizza and chips on the way home. Not bad price, good pizza and chips, and seemed very busy for a Sunday night! Kebabs looked good and portion sizes looked big!

This place used to be really good but it’s slowly gotten worse. Tonight we ordered a meal deal with a drink which we didn’t receive. The chips were over cooked and just tasted of oil. Each tub of sauce is £1.50 and it came not much bigger than a shot glass! Absolute joke. We won’t be ordering from here again. The portion sizes are also getting smaller as the prices increase.

Great donner kebab. Home made chilli sauce is delicious. Will use again.

Ordered a large doner kebab with salad, chicken kebab, chips and a couple of tubs of dips. Probably the best kebabs we have had in a long time. Really tasty, juicy, fresh meat, lovely fresh salad on both kebabs, and the chips were absolutely delicious. The kebabs are served in a lid box, and I've got to say was pleasantly surprised at the presentation - usually when you get a kebab home all the meat and salad are just thrown in, but this was expertly presented (wish I took a photo) Ordered online, I walked in at the time it said it would be ready, and the lady had just finished bagging it up. This was a Friday night as well, and it was busy. Well recommended.

Used to get delivery from here at least once a month. Their prices haven't changed, however they now add on a cheeky 20% VAT onto your final order. We're not in the USA! Where you get the tax added at the end! So for our usual meal, it'll now cost an additional £5.32. Yet you also still need to pay delivery and a service fee. Won't be using this kebab shop again. Terrible business practices.

First time ordering a kebab wrap and last. Hardly any meat and 3 pieces of heated up frozen coated chicken. Asked for garlic mayo but couldn't find any on it. Chips were cold and inedible. Back to my usual place for me. Awful.

Food was not good pizza was ok at best Doner meat funky and the chips had some kind of mad mayonnaise that was congeiled like cheese

Ordered just under £50 worth of food and it was absolutely shocking. Chips were cold, soggy and rubbery, pizza tasted like it was cheap frozen rubbish. Could not taste tomato paste, hardly any cheese and ham and mushroom well they had run away the cheese. Donner meat was fat and crispy and lamb was very over cooked. Chicken burger was cold, hard and tasteless. On top of that if you live on a caravan park you have to meet them at the main gate even in rain. The delivery lady was pleasant and did accommodate us by delivery to the caravan but was not was not told until she rung us up and asked to meet at us at the gate that they aren’t allowed to deliver to caravan parks. When rung up to escalate our complaints the person answering the phone was very obnoxious, rude and would not let us speak. We were told that the shop had been there for 22 years and had never had a complaint and we were the first. By the looks of google reviews someone is telling fibbs. We were then told by the person on the phone that we were use to ‘processed food’. He offered to resend the chips but that defeats the object of them not delivering to caravan parks so we politely refused. The call was then terminated. I can safely say we will NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THESE RUDE PEOPLE AGAIN. Nice £50 down the drain.

Foods usually good form here but today was awful I’m well pissed off they got my order wrong I paid for a kabab combo and got Donna meat with chips instead which isn’t the same price as a combo kabab my kabab was drenched with soggy salad and onions to the point where the bottom of the box actually fell through it was that wet I do have a video but it won’t let me up load it my plate was also swimming was disgusting my was chips so dry too and also was twenty mins late not happy on bit may aswell set my £45 on fire won’t be coming back

I love this place and have ordered from here on many many occasions, but tonight is ruined it for me. I have opted for the pizza deal (any pizza for X cost per size) and I ordered a 14” and a large cheesy chips. The chips seem like a regular portion and the pizza is 100% 12”. It was delivered by a car full of stoner kids and was cold. I’m never ordering from here again!

Vat added twice on delivery services, the prices listed include vat, yet an extra 20% is added at the checkout ontop, it's made it the most expensive takeaway food in Blackpool/Cleveleys, they did not used to charge this extra %, it's either a mistake or a scam.

Me and my partner order from here on Blackpool eats, we have ordered a couple of times now after our usual spot was closed and well what can I say The food is unbelievably delicious this is now become our number one choice of Chinese hands down, we order the creat your own munchie box and switch it up everyone now and again but the salt and pepper chips are out this world and everything else really!! Thanks to all the staff for amazing service and beautiful food a job well done! A millions percent recommend to everyone

Ordered chicken spring roll, and chicken curry, got home and it was a veg spring roll so I rang Lee garden and told them and her reply was oh sorry the cooks must of not put enough chicken in. I said there is no chicken in whatsoever and she just replied that is how the chicken spring roll is. Finish phone call and went on to try chicken curry, this is not chicken I don't know what it was but I do know it was disgusting to the point I threw up. Never go to the Lee garden Chinese takeaway on Victoria road in Cleveleys you don't know what they're serving up. I still feel sick now just thinking about it.

Three of us shared a special starter for 2 then 1 had Special curry with noodles I had Chicken satay and fried rice and my Grandaughter had Chicken balls with sweet n sour sauce with fried rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed it . Thankyou .

Nice clean place. Plenty of room. We only had coffee but menu had plenty of choice. Friendly atmosphere and staff. I would recommend a visit

Oh I can't believe how stuffed I am after their "Chef's Special" breakfast. I didn't want sausages but they doubled up on other items. Tiny criticism, the napkins were small and thin.

A lovely well cooked full english , the place needs a little bit of an update on the interior but the food is really good , average service

29/12/23.. visited star cafe or should I say zero star cafe.. 5 breakfasts ordered the bread was mouldy on toast I took the mouldy toast back to the lady at the till, there was no apology no way of them correcting the error.. zero people skill the food was avarage at best we did only use the breckfast menu however this will be my first and last time using this place. I would not recommend this place actually deter people away. Good luck

Ordered food at 6pm. Kept calling and being fobbed off. Order was marked as delivered at 7.30. No food. We called again at 8pm to be told the food hasn’t even been cooked yet? The woman on the phone was rude, obnoxious and kept shouting at us when we just wanted to know where the food was. Apparently it’s another 30 mins away. Very rude service on the phone and over 2.5 hours wait is absolutely ridiculous. £100 order for 11 people and they can’t even cook or deliver it to us!

On the positive side, the staff at Lucky Star were really friendly and the food was served hot. You also get very decent portion sizes for the price. ​ Unfortunately, the food itself was a real letdown. The peking tasted off it was much more like a brown sauce... vinegary, and not like a traditional peking from similar restaurants. The rice didn't taste the best either. ​We ended up binning about half of the meal. ( In response to the restaurant #4718764 was the order number )

Just ordered food from there...starters burnt to a crisp! Mains...ordered crispy beef ,crisp but no beef!! Never ever going back again!!! 40 years and that is the worst ever!!!!! And a 3:50 for delivery..cheers for nothing

My Partner and I have been using this take away on and off for the past two years. At first the meals were excellent, but over time we have noticed that the quality has gone downhill, we ordered tonight and to be honest we were very disappointed, and I didn't even get the meal that I ordered. I think we will be looking for a different take away from now on!

OMG tonight we could not decide were to eat and as we are locall we thought we would try this place, i had the chicken omlatte and my friend has a beef currry, for takeaway food wow wow, the food tasted so good, but the portions are huge, that big we have a full meal ready for tommorow as well, there is no way i could eat a full portion and i like my food hehe, very friendly but its nathan not neville hehe, will be going back for sure and 100 per cent the food was great

Ordered from here tonight, they missed off part of the order, didn't charge us for it but the main part of the meal was missing, rang back to get the other part of our order sent out, they wanted to charge us delivery for a second time, food was delivered quick but expensive and not the same standard as other places nearby Ended up cooking to make up the other half of the meal which defeats the purpose of a takeaway Wouldn't order from here again

Had a Takeaway from here tonight…. not had one for a few years. The Chicken curry , egg fried rice & seaweed is what I had. It’s the best I have had in years. Will definitely be having it again soon. It was piping hot & freshly cooked!

Walked in looking for the carrot cake but of course sold out but I'm so glad because I tried the lemon tart well like a small Lemon cheese cake but better it's got filling in as well omg there round an taste amazing 👏

Meat and potato pies was beyond disgusting, taste between lard and cardboard, who ever likes this food must have an iron gut, when they are warm they fall apart, but cold they do stick together and taste a bit better, id rather put another 20p to it and go to a proper local family bakery around the corner amazing pastry and fillings, for 1.90 , cakes are ok but them to fall apart like dust , sorry the pies are not even worth one pound .

Very rude woman behind the counter Went in this morning (9th May 2022) at about 9.50 and there was a woman behind the counter doing paperwork. She didn't look up or greet me as I walked in. When I told her what I wanted, she was very rude and quick, it seemed like she was rushing to get me served and get me out even though I was the only customer there. Very bluntly and rudely told me I couldn't have a sausage and egg muffin with no cheese. I've been in before and recieved equally bad customer service. Food was okay though.

Went in today and asked if pasties were hot. Response was by female member of staff we are not allowed to sell HOT food they are warm. I purchased 2 pasties and yes she was right they were ONLY just warm. What is the point of advertising HOT food when you are NOT receiving what you want. I shall NOT be returning to this shop again. At least Greggs sells what they advertise.

Food excellent, however Covid procedures regarding customers was not being followed, as laid out on their signage. Allowing too many customers in at one time, so social distancing could not be followed, hence 2 stars, disappointing.

Called in with no prior knowledge or expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the nice interior. My wife only had a latte and I had a coffee and food. The drinks came piping hot which was very nice, usually in most places it arrives lukewarm and is cold by the time your food arrives. This was definitely not the case here. I had fishcakes and fries, which also arrived piping hot and not microwaved hot but cooked hot. The fishcakes were amazing and the fries although frozen were really good and not your average frozen chips. If I wanted to be super picky, the salad went a little limp because the hot fishcakes had been placed on top of it. 😁 Also a minor point but some food remnants of previous diners was on the floor so perhaps a little more attention to cleaning up after diners may be required. I'm not talking a lot here so it's a shame this minor thing was what I noticed. All in all a great place to eat and highly recommended. Oh and they drop a nicely chilled bottle of water on the table for you as a nice touch.

Great food, fresh & good quality. Service is excellent and the staff are all friendly and polite. The decor is modern and the seating is comfortable. The standards are very high and everything is immaculately clean.

Got to say this place is one of the nicest places I've been for breakfast with welcoming and friendly staff. The menu has plenty to choose from, something for everyone. The portions are spot on, that's why I visited 3 days in a row with the golf lads. I purchased a large breakfast with orange juice on this occasion with extra toast, extra slice of fried bread and it was delicious. I'd say the prices are more than reasonable and would highly recommend.

Gem of a place between shops and prom. I have only been here for breakfast - twice. Delicious scrambled eggs on seeded toast. Will definitely try Sunday lunch next time.

Had a full English, moms just moved up so visited, lovely cafe, great service, lovely food

I came here on a Sunday morning with friends. The staff were lovely and efficient. Food came out quickly and it was delicious, good quality food which we couldn’t fault. The drinks were nice too with a large variety. Lovely little cafe but not many tables so I recommend booking as a few tables were already reserved.

I never go out my way to review things often but this one needed one I’ve just moved to the area and I really miss the lake district where the food quality is just amazing stepping in here felt like I was in the Lake District again such high standards great staff, and great price. Food was amazing and I love how they care about every single detail. I loved this place so much I’m now a new regular.

Searing hot day on the Lancs coast and i fancied fish & chips. First choice chippy in Cleveleys had a long sweaty queue that I didn't like the look of so did some exploring and so glad I did. Great find. 15 mins from where i was and close to a tramstop. The two ladies serving and Chip himself were friendly and up for banter. Fish, chips & pickled egg for £7.55. And ready straightaway. A 5-10 min walk to the beach and tucked in. Absolutely amazing. Good portion size. The Lancs seagulls didn't attack either. Absolute winner.

Everyone there is always so friendly and easy to laugh with. Food is great. The fish is cooked after ordering, so its hot and fresh.

Collected our tea before the annual illuminations run. From the minute we walked we were welcomed and given time to look through the menu. Children were even given a bag of sweets to share after their tea. Food was great the fish batter was so tasty and we all had full bellies. Educated on what a pea bomb is too.... Forget Seniors try here you won't be disappointed. Chorley Massive xxx.
